This is a classic LA pizza restaurant and one of the best you can find. It is an old school restaurant with red booths. I just adore the pizza - sausage can't be beat. Service is always friendly and the prices are reasonable. Cash only is the only negative.

We will make a special trip to LA just to get pizza here. Nothing else compares. They are a family owned business, who knows how to make Italian food the right way!

MY FAVORITE!!!

Our 2nd time coming here when in the neighborhood. Saturday was a rainy day in L.A. The wait for a table took only 30 minutes. I had the eggplant parm hero comes with a salad. We also had a small cheese pizza. Both were very nice. Everything was great food & service.

Looong wait, but excellent pie.

The "Pizza Pie" name is deceiving. They are known for their thin crust pizza. If your tired of big chain pizza franchises then your in for a treat. I had the sausage and roasted garlic. It was great! The sausage is homemade.

if you haven’t been, you’re missing a treat. been around since early 1950s and i’ve been coming here since late 1970s. thin crust za. in an old italian neighborhood in eagle rock. be prepared to wait or just order for pick up ... get and go. but to sit in is a walk into the past. manga

Went here all the time as a child and wasn't sure if I returned if it would be as good as I remember, but it was. Best Pizza I have had in a long time. Can't wait to go back

Best pizza in LA bar none. The Deluxe with sausage, pepper, mushroom and garlic is my favorite. Wonderful home style pasta. The palce is so popular you always have a wait to get a table. We mostly carry out. Service is personable and great. Prices are modest. Absolutely worth a try. We ofter order ahead and carry out.

i love the pizza here, when i am in the mood for pizza, this is that place i go, expect for sundays and mondays when they are closed. this place is straight up mafia, cash only!

Don't get me wrong...I really like this place, but I don't get the hype. I think part of the appeal is the atmosphere. And to be fair, I've never actually had pizza here - just pasta dishes. Still worth it to try at least once, but be sure to get there early as there is always a line.

As a lifelong resident of L.A., I can say with conviction that Casa Bianca has the best pizza in the city. If you happen to make a trip out to L.A. make sure to make the trek to Eagle Rock to try it out! The pizza is a perfect combination of crispy/chewy crust, sauce and cheese. I always get an extra large pepperoni or sausage and eggplant so I can have some to take home. The meatballs and antipasto salad are also great. The pasta is just alright, its mostly known for its pizza, so that's what you should go with. The place has been around forever, and is not a trendy place where you pay a ton of money for some wacky pizza, which is perfect! They don't take reservations, and it can get really crowded. One tip is to call in an hour or so before you come and ask the hostess to put your name down. You can also always get takeout if you don't want to wait. Also, its cash only, so make sure you have some on hand!

We've been going to Casa Bianca for more years than I care to remember, and each and every time we go (or pick up a pizza), we say the same thing! "This is simply the best pizza in Los Angeles, end of story!!!!" Ok, we'll we don't really say the "end of story" part, but we do, indeed, regale the merits of Casa Bianca pizza to all who will listen!! The rest of the menu is very good, but the pizza is AWESOME!!!!!!! End of Story!

good pizza, worth the wait.

I have been here many times over the years, and the food never disappoints! This is the only place I have found where I can get just a cheese pizza and be totally satisfied! This is a great family restaurant that’s been around well over 60 years, I believe. Other food highlights are the homemade bread, the bolognese sauce with spaghetti, the veggie lasagna, and the cannolis. I have been here for my birthday several times, including last night, and I always leave in a good mood with a full belly, highly recommended!

I dislike the long lines, but I love the food. I do not like that they close for vacation twice a year, but I am there the first day of opening. I am not happy that they are close on SUNDAYS, I guess I will put up with that! I hate that they do not have a parking lot, We just park on the street. I forgot the one that gets me the most THEY ONLY TAKE CASH! they have an ATM. No matter what...we keep on coming, LOVE their tiramisu, lasagna, and salads. Go on and became one more addict of Casa Bianca.

Went to Casa Bianca w 4 folks recently for pizza. Expectations were high and the place was packed. Unfortunately we were ALL very disappointed. The pie was terrible. Crust was wet and soggy. Very little sauce. Very little cheese. I pride myself on knowing pizza and this pie was NOT good. Maybe it was an off night because we had heard that this place was great. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Casa Bianca.

this pizza is overated, it tastes nothing like n.y. people must have amnesia or something

I first ate here in 1985 when I worked in Eagle Rock and have come backon and off over the years. Tis past weekend we decided to visit again for an early dinner. I had lasagna, while my wife had Italian sausage and vegtables. I had a delighful Morretti beer. My wife had a glass of red wine. Everything was simply excellent! The portions are large so we had plenty to take home. We also had their AWESOME Spamoni ice cream. Man, it was so good! FYI, dinner only from 4:00pm on and cash only.

Delicious pizza-loved that the sausage was made in house. Antipasto salad is excellent and was one of my favorite parts of the meal. Traveled to this restaurant on a recommendation from a friend who lives locally. The ambience and the cute neighborhood make this worth the trip-the fact that the food is delicious is an added bonus.

Took family to eat, had to wait to get in for a while but once inside had a great meal and really enjoyed the old-school family restaurant feel. Our server was terrific, friendly, attentive without hovering, and made us feel welcome. Everyone around us in the restauarant was clearly having a great time. I noticed that the tables didn't turn very fast as people were lingering for drinks and dessert after eating. Had pizza and eggplant parmigiana. The egglplant was very good, if not special, and the pizza had that brick-oven toasted flavor with really terrific rich red sauce under the cheese. Reminded me a bit of some of the better New Haven pizzas from Pepe's and Sally's. Will definitely eat there again.

After over 30 years in the area, we finally made our way to Casa Bianca in the Eagle Rock area. Because I knew it was busy on weekends and were were in the area on a weeknight after 7PM, there was no wait for a table (although booths were all gone). It's a cash only business (you can assume it's good in today's world of debit/credit cards), and the people working there couldn't have been nicer. I was told the white pizza was new in the past five years, and asked for recommendations. Our server recommended sausage and batter fried eggplant and while each element was good, the sausage overtook the eggplant so next time I'd order a smaller size of each. House Chianti was good and a 1/2 carafe was only $15. We saw quite a few young children and noticed the place was very family-friendly. A great neighborhood place, and we'll be back!

Great local place. I love their eggplant parmigiana better than any I have tried in other restaurants regardless of price or reputation. People love their pizza too. Very crowded most nights but well worth the wait or if you can plan properly to get a table.

Family run Italian restaurant. The pizza is so good that in the 20 years I have been eating there, I haven't tried the other menu items. Service is fast and very friendly, though the place is almost always busy. I like that the food is consistently good, year in and year out. Their antipasto salad is out of this world! 1/2 antipasto is plenty for 4 people. Fresh greens, ricotta, mozzarella, mortadella, capicollo, black and green olives, and the best Italian dressing. Cash only. Open for dinner only. Closed Sundays and Mondays.

Get there early or late... try to avoid any time between 6 and 8 pm, or you'll end up waiting for a very long time. Other than that, it's very good food and fun atmosphere.

Good Service, good antipasta salad and decent pizza. The problem is they put the onions in the sauce instead of on the cheese as a topping so the onions don't carmelize. Plan on waiting as it is a small yet busy place.

Great everything! A true Mom and Pop place and everything is delish. I've been eating their pizza for 20 years, some of the best in the city. Tonite, I had linguini with white clam sauce=PERFECT!

Casa Bianca has been living off a long overstated reputation and is at best sub-par at this point. Some of their pizzas can be downright disgusting as they use cheap toppings like canned mushrooms. Their housemade sausage pizza is still the best option but there is much better pizza to be had down the street or in Pasadena. It's a shame because this place has been a neighborhood institution for decades. I live walking distance and have witnessed the decline for years.

yummmm. my fave pizza. worth the wait, but try going on a weekday (closed Sun/Mon). Antipasto salad is great. Note: mushrooms are canned.

pizza's here are awesome. not so much the pasta dished.

It has taken us 4 years since moving from NJ and we finally found delicious pizza here in Southern California. Casa Bianca is a neighborhood pizza restaurant with delicious, thin crust pizza just like I grew up on in New York & NJ. The sauce is authentic and the cheese is abundant just like it is supposed to be. Casa Bianca is a little family run business in Eagle Rock. Totally unassuming and totally authentic. We had an eggplant parm hero, spaghetti with delicious sausage, and of course an extra large pie for the table. Topped it off with a delicious cannoli-what more could you ask for. This is a cash only restauarant so make sure you stop by an atm on the way-but the prices are very reasonable.

Great family Italian place. Big portions. Yummy sauce. It was a little hot inside, and of course their decor could use a serious redo, but that's part of the charm. Their recipes haven't changed, and nothing else around it is either. So it's reliable, delicious food in a family atmosphere.

Fantastic Pizza Joint. Worth the wait. If you go you will know what I mean.

A great neighbourhood spot- loved the ambiance - friendly service and the food was excellent. Definitely will return

Great pizza with hokey Italian flair. Pizza ingredients are fresh. Cash only.

if you love great pizza and Italian meals, you have to make the effort to get to Casa Bianca, just don't bring your checks or credit cards, cash only!

This is the best Italian Restaurant you will ever find. Friendly staff and delicious food. Definitely make a reservation, otherwise the wait is about 1 hour...., but worth it...

I love this place. We have had pretty much everything on the menu... There is always a wait, there is little to no parking. You have to park in a residential neighborhood on the street. While you wait for your table you can have a beer, just ask the hostess!

Great atmosphere, spaghetti and meatballs, pizza, salad. Friends had lasagna and pasta pomodore. Everything was fabulous. The waiting line out the door tells you so.

My wife and 12 year old daughter shared a pizza on a late Saturday evening. The wait was short, but it gave us time to look at the photos on the wall and try to figure out the wierd decor. The pizza was very good and in deed on of the best Los Angeles has to offer. but once you've had good pizza in Chicago or New York, you'll know why I only gave 4 stars and not 5. However, I still highly recommend it if you're in the area.

I highly recommend Casa Bianca for those who appreciate a thin crust pizza, it is excellent. Toppings I recommend are simple: sausage, garlic and fresh tomato. The antipasto salad is great too. My kids love the baby shells and marinara. This is a sweet, neighborhood place that has served local families for many years. The people watching is interesting too, you get a good cross section of Los Angeles - a hop and skip away from the Americana in Glendale and Old Town Pasadena. I'd encourage the out-of towner to stop by for a taste of LA.

I visited Casa Bianca again. I try to come here when I am in town. I ordered my normal pizza and salad. Again, everything was very good. I was a little less impressed with this visit's pizza in that they seemed to skimp on the sauce and cheese. There were plenty of chunky toppings, but not enough cheese and sauce. Still, pretty darn good.

Finding ourselves in Pasadena & driving between the venue & our hotel, spotted the Pizza Pie sign & decided we needed to give it a try. Figuring 5pm on a Saturday should be an easy walk-in; wrong! People were already waiting & the place packed! Smelled so good, we waited & we’re not disappointed!! Clearly a local favorite & hidden treasure! Great food, friendly help on recommendations, nice wine & beer choices. If you are in the area, stop in! Pizza boxes were going home w/ most diners!!! Drive east past it on Colorado, turn right @ the light & Park on that street; worth the little walk!

Fantastic pizza, reminiscent of Chesden's in Chicago.

After reading rave reviews about Casa Bianca on this site and others, my boyfriend and I trekked quite a way to try it out for the first time, and we were terribly disappointed. We ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza.. The sausage was the best part of the pizza and was "good" at best. The pepperoni and cheese were nothing outstanding, "ok" at best. The crust and sauce were downright awful. The sauce was lacking something; I guess it was flavor and zest-- it was pretty watered-down. And the crust?! It was gooey and soggy where it met the sauce; this had definitely been frozen. This after a 30-minute wait for takeout. Honestly, if you are particular about your pie, do not come here. You'll wish you'd gotten DiGiorno instead.

There's no shortage of pizza places between Eagle Rock and Silverlake. Casa Bianca just has the best pie, the best vibe, and that old school mom 'n' pop interior that makes it a great place to unwind over dinner.

Our family has been eating at Casa Bianca for nearly 50 years! Food has always been great! Family owned, quality ingredients and delicious food. Recently had my first Casa Bianca pizza of the 2022 - still the best! Our family has made many converts to Casa Bianca. Pizza is always our favorite, but their pasta al'forno is another favorite and dinner is never complete without their antipasto salad - so yummy!! Never had a bad meal here or take out. All the staff are welcoming and professional. Plus, they're always playing Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack - perfect! Yes, it can be a wait to get in here after 5 pm but if you don't mind an early dinner (sorry, they're not open for lunch), they open at 4 pm and never had a problem walking right in. Love this place. Highly recommend!!

We have been going to Casa Bianca for over 15 years now. We have introduced this restaurant to many friends and it has always been a hit. The lively ambiance makes you feel like you are dining in Italy. If you are looking for a quiet secluded dining experience this is NOT the place for you. But if you enjoy the bustling activity of friendly waitresses and the din of conversation you will definitely love this restaurant like we do. They don't need the reviews because the lines are always long and they only take cash. The house Chianti is great both in price and quality. The best Antipasto salad we have ever had - anywhere. The pizza is also world class.

This is a place our family has gone to for years, tiny & cramped, not updated, but the food is good & they have the best antipasto around!

The thing that defines this place is consistency. The pizza is always perfect...the crust thin, the cheese amazing. Sausage and eggplant pie is the main reason I keep going back. The spaghetti and meatballs, and the arabiatta bring tears of joy. Only downside is waiting for a table. But, once inside, the food and the friendly service make it worthwhile.

The first time I went to Casa Bianca was back in the early 80's since then it hasn't changed to much. They knock out a wall and expanded into the building next door. The extra space is needed to handle the ever increasing number of people who discover this gem of a restaurant. The pizza is unlike any you'll ever eat. Rich in flavor and old world tradition. The pasta dishes are less eventful with the exception of the lasagna which I obsolutely love. Go early to avoid the long line that builds outside on Fridays & Saturday (still worth the wait). It makes my mouth water just writing the review.

I often look for a local pizza place while on business travel. With Casa Bianca I found a place that I will return to every time I am in town. Warning, if you come with more thant 4 people, you'll probably wait for a little while. Casa Bianca was packed on a Thursday evening. By the time I left at 8:00pm, there was many waiting for a table. The pizza is wonderful: thin crust to the edge; sauce, cheese and toppings to the edge; firm bottom crust without being hard. I got a Deluxe that included homemade-looking sausage, green peppers and mushrooms. I think it is better than nearly all of the the California gourmet styled pizzas I've had. Mushrooms looked like they were from a can, but tasted good. The house salad was very good and large. I also got a 1/2 litre of house chianti, which was pretty good. The bill came to about $25, and the food could have easily been shared by two people. Pizza prices are really reasonable. Restaurant decor is old and could use updating, but I went there for the pizza and came away very delighted. Service was friendly, attentive and timely. I recieved warm bread with my salad, which was nice. Street parking is a big challenge - be patient. I'll definitely be back.

They have been making pizzas at this location since before time began. There is always a line around the corner waiting for their turn. The pizza is so good.

Consistency good pizza, salad and atmosphere. Neighborhood pizzeria. We love it and just keep returning. We like the deluxe pizza and the antipasto salad. Warm bread is delicious, too.

We tried to get in without a reservation one evening, and the wait was 45 minutes, so we moved on. The next evening we had 6 in our party and were able to get a reservation and got right in. It was before 6 PM as we were going to a concert at 8:00, and the place was still full. That tells you how popular it is. We all ordered different entrees, and the wait staff did a great job of getting the food and drinks out to us. Husband had ravioli with meatballs. I had the linguine in white clam sauce. Our son ordered the fried eggplant pizza. The servings were large, so we asked for carry out boxes and enjoyed those leftovers the next day! Everything was delicious. We were out in plenty of time to get to the concert in time.

I live a 5 minute drive from Casa Bianca. They truly do have the best pizza in the city. I know, I've lived here for 55+ years and have tried many, many pizza joints. I have only done a sit down in the restaurant 2 or 3 times. On those occassions, the wait was long and the room noisy. So I call my pizza order in from home and pick it up in 30 - 45 minutes. My favorite is the garlic, sausage and eggplant pizza, Delicious! They are pricey, but worth the extra $$. I have not tried anything else on their menu, but fiends tell me nothing is as good as the pizza.

We have come here at least 10 times and the food is always fresh and delicious. We especially like the sausage pizza and the antipasto salad. The pizza is spiced just right and is so hot and fresh. The antipasto salad is packed full of meats, different kinds of olives, different cheeses and lettuce.

Adorable and charming family run restaurant with the best pizza in Los Angeles. Even the cheap house wine is tasty,

Very good Italian Restaurant. Food is good and large portions. great for groups.

Casa Bianca is the best restaurant for pizza or spaghetti of anywhere that I have ever been. I don't mind the wait for a table as I know the service is outstanding and food is fresh, mouthwatering, and there's plenty of it. You can't stop eating your food because it tastes so mouth watering delicious!! I have been going to Casa Bianca for many years and each time I go I can't wait to return. Right now my mouth is watering for some Pesto Spaghetti (I love this dish the best of all). My son loves the pizza and raves about it to his friends. The price is very reasonable and it's such a fun place to dine at.

My parents grew up coming here and then my siblings and I! Love the pizza, fresh baked bread and salad! Not much has changed and hopefully their kids will keep it going! Just wished I got back in town more often to enjoy!

I have been going to this place since the mid-70's. Great mom and pop Italian restaurant. You really can't go wrong with anything you order if you are a fan of the genre.

The best Pizza in town. Place always busy, but it's worth the waiting. As an Italian this is my favorite place where to eat a pizza.

Simply superb !! I lived in La Canada - Flintridge for nearly 30 years, with my daily commute to the Downtown Financial District being only some 20 - 25 minutes. During those years the "Casa Bianca" in Eagle Rock was a standing destination. Drop down the Glendale Freeway to Highway 134, turn left, and you would be at the "Casa Bianca" within another 10 minutes ... having only to find a parking spot on the adjacent streets. Which itself took some time, as the "Casa Bianca" was almost always "packed solid" with customers either waiting to be seated, or waiting for their take out orders. And for a good reason. One of the BEST pizzas extant, so great that the restaurant could almost get away with anything with regard to pushing the limits of its customers' patience. Read the other reviews ... they tell the story. Generations of students from Occidental College down several blocks to the south have made their way ... day and night and very late at night ... up to Colorado Boulevard to "vote with their feet, their wallets and their appetites" for what was self-evidently one of the best simple but delicious meals within range of their campus. The same is true for people who would come "up the hill" from Pasadena, or, like me, "down the hill" from La Canada - Flintridge. or "up and over the hill" from Glendale. And, as mentioned, the owners know it, and their no-nonsense demeanor projects it - "Italian Style !!" This means: "CASH MONEY ONLY !! NO EXCEPTIONS !!" They do, however, prominently provide an ATM. "NEXT CUSTOMER !!" Bulldog 1

I love Pizza. Love it! And that makes me very critical of so-called "original pizza pies", but the Pizza at Casa Bianca was authentic, rustic and delicious. I ordered a small for myself with pepperoni, green olives and mushrooms and I was very happy with the results. A nice thin crust with delicious scorch marks on the bottom. The cheese was nice and chewy and was not overpowered by too much sauce. Excellent place AND price.

We will travel over to Casa Bianca once a year or so. Since there are dozens of pizza places where we live in Pasadena that says something. The pizza is thin crust, I'd say the sausage is house made. Definitely above average pizza. I give them three stars because it is kind of a hassle to go there. Eagle Rock is a pretty urban suburb so there is a lot of traffic and finding street parking is troublesome. There is almost always a line and they do a huge take out business so the pizzas take a while. That the place is always busy is self recommending.

We think this neighborhood place has fabulous pizza, far better than anything we've found at home. We look forward to going here every time we go to LA even though its hours of operation are not always convenient and parking is a pain. Fun atmosphere, always packed at dinner time. Go later if you don't want to wait. This is NOT a good place to go if you are looking for a trendy / gourmet pizza with special service - don't waste your time or theirs. This is classic, old school pizza with an atmosphere to match which we treasure!

This is the place for pizza. The crust is think and the corn flower on the crust adds flavor. But the thinness and the great toppings make for something memorable. Lines can be long, so we go early when there is no line and the pace is easy-going. Nothing else is as good as the pizza. We've tried the pasta and the salads. But we eat a salad with the pizza because it goes together so well. Why is this the best? The crust is fantastic. The toppings are excellent. The cooking is expert. The chewy, sometimes crunchy, experience is one of the best things about life.

We have been going here for years. The restaurant has been here a long time and the walls are filled with pictures of celebrities or well known people. The waitresses are great and always seem to be on top of things considering how busy the place can get. The food is good, but especially the pizza. We usually go for the "Deluxe" since I love the sausage that they put on it and goes so good with the bell peppers and mushrooms that also come on the pizza. We usually opt for the Caprese salad, pizza and wine. The house chianti is highly recommended. The place hasn't been remodeled for what seems a long time. Be warned that they only take cash! but there is an ATM inside. There always seems to be people waiting for a table as the place is not the biggest. The pizza is worth the wait. The pizza is what keeps us coming back year after year.

We ate here on a Wednesday night. We waited for about 10 minutes to be seated. Parked around the corner on the street. We had bruschetta, salad, deluxe pizza. All of it fresh and tasty! I love eating here. I recommend. By the way, it is cash only, so come prepared for that.

Isn't as good as the line makes you think, and, they use canned mushrooms, Blech!

Listen up all you who just want to enjoy a local Italian food Eatery that won't break the bank. Quality and quantity always foremost in every dish served at Casa Bianca. Run by family that oversees every aspect of this extraordinary magnificent Restaurant. Pizza your way thin ,crispy or thicker and topped with your favorite things. Had chicken picata with Angel hair pasta loaded with capers and a finger licking lemon sauce. Also fresh green beans & fresh carrots!! Alyaws order the dinner and split with my partner. Large dinner salad, coffee, passion tea, large scope of ice cream and hot bread included. Bring in your own wine corkage is only $6.00. Beer and wine selection excellent if you don't want to bring in. Bring CASH. No credit cards.

Garlic bread, salad and pizza are sooo good

Casa Bianca is my friends favorite place so I've been there a half a dozen times..... They, like many, love it, I just don't get it. The food is fair, service friendly but harried, the building is a dump and the wait can be ridiculous.

There were seven of us for dinner on a Saturday evening. The place was jampacked and the carry-out business was booming. Our group ordered several appetizers, which we all shared. Then we ordered four entrees consisting of Lasagna, Chicken Piccata, Pasta with Clams, and Pepperoni Pizza. Again, we always share with each other. We have been going out together for decades. Everything was delicious.

Thin and savory crust, sausage that they make right there, on the premises -- it's hard to beat. Parking can be a problem on weekends, but if you don't mind walking a block or two, it's worth it!

This is my neighborhood pizzeria, so whenever we want a delicious slice of pepperoni or homemade sausage, this is the place to go. Pros: 1. One of the best pizzas in LA. That being said, some people express disappointment after visiting because their expectations were so high. It's just good pizza. 2. Totally reasonable prices. 3. Cozy, old-school, laid-back, casual vibe. Cons: 1. No parking. Good luck finding street parking. 2. Closed on Sundays and Tuesdays. 3. The pasta dishes are "meh." Stick to the pizza.

Bar none, the BEST Italian restaurant in the north Los Angeles county area. It smells so good when you walk in, and the spaghetti sauce is delicious. You can bring your own wine since they only serve beer and wine. This is delicious inexpensive food that we talked about for days. Mangia!

why must one wait 2 hours for pizza?

Every year the entire staff take 3 weeks annual vacation and on their return locals stampede back for their Italian food fix. Pastas, salads and pizzas oh my. Staff always friendly and this cash only eatery always has a crowd patiently waiting for their lovely prepared meals. Thank you for continuing your Mothers recipes.

Good place for the whole family. Pizza´s are a slightly chewy crust, with a bit of tang with better than average mozzarella, we had the italian sausage style. The dining room with its red checkered table cloths, and fast and friendly service makes it a warm environment for the whole family.

As with most urban restaurants parking was an issue and reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. They are a cash only restaurant with ATM on site. The noise level is a bit high but the food and ambiance are excellent.

Must go off-peak or you'll hate it. The pizza is tasty.

classic

We waited for about 40 minutes for a table on a Saturday night. It was well worth the wait. We had bruschetta for appetizer as well as beer and wine. We ordered a large deluxe original crust pizza to share. It was just right for 4 people. I can’t wait to eat here again. I would love to try the eggplant parmigiana!

Consistently good

While everyone has their own favorite pizza pie, Casa Bianca's sausage/pepperoni/mushroom is definately mine. Yes it's typically crowded, although I have noticed the crowds have gone down during the recession, and yes, they only take cash, and yes parking is not easy, it is still worth going there to get the best.

Very spensive food for the quality...........too small place so that makes the noise to be very very

Pizza with canned mushrooms, come on! It is rated as the best pie in los angeles but I don't know why since they don't use fresh ingredients. The salad made of iceberg cheapo lettuce? do yourself a favor, skip this place and go to Tarantino's on green in Pasadena-much better and they use FRESH ingredients.

Best Italian food in town. The pizza is original and delicious. Home made cannoli. Affordable price. Cash only.

I have been coming to this place for years. It is a family style restaurant, meaning there is no attitude, keeping up with the Jones, or snobby service here. This is a comfortable Mom and Pop place where you can get a really good meal without spending a lot. Their pizza is fantastic and you can customize it. The pasta selection is not going to be the latest shape in the pasta trend, but you will find is a great selection of tried and true comfort pasta. Their lasagna is also a favorite of mine. Again, it would be the lasagna your Momma would have made if she could. The line is worth the wait or call for a pizza pick up!

An Eagle Rock gem. Great Family run business, that serves great thin crust piza. Fresh ingredients, great service, nostalgic ambiance, and great prices!

this is the best pizza place in all of los angeles

A must.

It doesn't get more real than this. Antipasto salad is a must, but it's huge. Homemade meatballs and sausage. Pizza is thin crust and fantastic. Lasagna is indescribably good. Raviolis (chicken, beef, spinach, or cheese) are perfect. The only thing that could be better (or made easier) is parking. The restaurant is on a main arterial and they don't have a parking lot. Places on the street fill up fast. Closed Sundays and Mondays and usually a few weeks in August.

Anyone who says this place is not any good needs to have their head examined. This is the best old school Italian restaurant in the Glendale, Eagle Rock, Pasadena area by a mile. Tasty sauce, unreal antipasto salad, thin crust pizza is off the hook.

Family owned and operated in Eagle Rock, which isn't close to anything except Occidental College. Nevertheless, if you happen to find yourself in the neighborhood, you will enjoy their pizza. It's appropriately gooey yet crisp. Stay away from everything else on their menu,

Even on a rainy night they had a line so be prepared to have a glass of wine during your wait for a table. The smell of cooking pervades the 40's-50's classic italian joint atmosphere. The pizza is very good and is made fresh. Obviously a favorite hangout but the long wait makes me question whether I should make it mine.

What's the deal everyone? I waited for almost an hour in the line that's always there for some very mediocre food. Not going back.

For a small local restaurant hidden on Colorado Blvd in Eagle Rock area of LA, this place is always packed, and for good reason. They have the absolute BEST antipasta salad I have ever had and their pizza is on my top 5 list as well. I have never been disappointed in anything I have ordered from here. I've never been to Italy, so I don't really know what "authentic" italian really is, but I cant imagine it being any better than what they cook up here.

Been a customer since 1965. I'm sure there are many other loyal customers as well. The pizza is the greatest and voted # 1 in L.A. for several years. My fav. pizza is the sausage as it is homemade. My other favs are the lasagne and the pasta al forno. You haven't lived until you've tried the spaghetti al bianco (heart attach on a plate, so only indulge on occasion). Everyone loves the antipasta salad (and it's huge!). The bread they serve is also excellent! And, the waitresses are the best!!! Everyone I introduce to Casa Bianca loves it and returns!! Worth the wait, but I would try to get in on a week night. Atmosphere is quaint and old fashioned and noisey. Portions are very generous and priced right! Just bring cash - they don't accept credit cards. However, they now have an ATM. Only negative - parking is really really bad!!!

great pizza if you can get in - come before 4:30 and you might have some luck

Growing up in Eagle Rock, this was a weekly delight. The spaghetti, the pizza, the bite of the vinagrette. A comfortable, family oriented restaurant that draws you back with food and atmosphere.

We waited 35 minutes to be seated on a Tuesday night. It was worth the wait! Garlic bread, bruschetta, lettuce salad, deluxe pizza, red wine. All excellent! I highly recommend this place.

Try the Pesto Pizza -- it's not on the menu.
Meh, service kind of sucks
Came here after a beer crawl. There was a wait (at 9 PM on a Wednesday night, go figure). After we got seated, we waited for 7 minutes before we left and told the people at the counter that the wait was too long for service and to just have the next person take our seats. We could only see two waitresses for the whole room, and two busboys chatting to themselves and not really paying attention to the rest of the room. I'm bummed because it has such high reviews, but it's pretty crazy to wait for over 7 minutes for a waitress when we could clearly see several staff members leaning against the walls looking bored. Maybe some other time.
