The view outdoors is beautiful. The food was very good. The service was excellent. The seafood was very fresh. Wonderful view of the marina.

This place is located right in the building of the Double tree at Biscayne Bay and the 2nd floor. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the bay views. The food was excellent. It is pricing, but worth it once a year!

Recently, I was in Miami returning from a cruise and my party decided to stay an extra night. We asked around and "Casablanca on the Bay" was recommended to us for dinner. At roughly noon, utilizing their online reservation system, I made a reservation for 4 for 5:30pm. As I was making the reservations, I noticed that it asked me to enter a credit card number which I did. Next it presented me with several check boxes already checked, ads, promos etc. and the central point of this review - the cancelation policy. I moved through the process and made my reservation. At 4:45 pm, my party and I decided that riding in a Uber for 30 mins to dinner wasn't what we had in mind (it had been a very early day) so I called to cancel my reservation like a responsible individual. It was on the phone during this call that I was informed that it was the policy of the restaurant to charge $25 for every person on the reservation (we had 4) for the cancelation. This was OUTRAGIOUS! I can see charging for a no show but for simply cancelling. Long review short, I was able to convince the restaurant that charging me would mean I would dispute the charge with American Express and I was confident I would prevail. I went back and buried in the cancelation policy was the $25 per person charge. It wasn't prominently displayed, there wasn't a warning before submitting the reservation request that I would be charged and on top of all of that, any reservation canceled within 12 hours of the reservation was subject to the charge. I made the reservation roughly 5 hours before so there was no way I was able to comply with these stipulations. As I said, Kate made it right but not until after much protesting on my part. A word to the wise when making reservations for Casablanca on the Bay, which I am sure is a fine dining establishment, be very sure you intend to attend because the hidden policy of charging people who simply try to cancel a reservation could prove to be a problem. I for one will not patronize an establishment the hides behind such a practice. If the place is in such high demand, as they state as the reason for the policy, how was I able to make a reservation on a weekend night at noon for dinner for 4 that same evening and why bury the policy where it is very unlikely to be seen. Makes me wonder about a place like that.

I ordered shrimp tostones for $17. It was an appetizer. The tostone had no flavor and was bland. The waiter asked me how I liked the tostone and I told him it was bland. He actually agreed even though he recommended the dish. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant.

“Casablanca on the Bay” decided to run a promotion for Sunday brunch at $25 including unlimited Mimosas. Since I wanted to take my family out to brunch, including my granddaughter who is only 3 years old, I made a reservation for 4 adults and 1 child for 1:30PM. Upon our arrival, we noticed a huge line-up. It took us 30 minutes to reach the reception. Then, we were told that they were overbooked. At 2:30 PM, they were yet to honor 12:30 reservations. By 3 PM and after a lot of complains, we finally got a table but… with water on the floor. It took another 5 minutes to get someone to come up with a mop. Needless to say, that not much was left to eat and the service was lousy. The employees were running like a bunch of chickens without heads. The place was like a big cruise boat full of people with not enough food or plates or utensils. Total pandemonium. I wonder how a restaurant with such a beautiful view can mess up so badly or so “bigly”. Someone should be help accountable for this stupidity. We all agree that $25 was just ridiculous. Whoever had that idea should be fired, period. Considering the fact that Mimosas were unlimited and valet parking was including, any reasonable mind would be ready to pay at least $39,99 for such a brunch. To the management, please get your act together and do not run such crazy promotion if you cannot deliver.

Excellent food and service. Dined outside on the patio overlooking Biscayne bay. The fresh fish was excellent. We made a special request for ice cream dessert which was filled no problem. Clean and tidy.

We had been meaning to stop by this restaurant on a Wednesday when they have, according to a big sign on the street, free oysters all day. We finally managed to show up on a Wednesday at 4 pm. the week before Easter. The restaurant is on the second floor inside a building with shops and offices. The view of the bay over to Miami Beach is spectacular. It's panoramic. That's the main reason I'd give this place another try. Big views like this aren't that common in Miami (and practically nonexistent in Miami Beach). Here was the down side. On this particular day, there were no oysters available. Smelled like a bait and switch to me. So my advice is CALL BEFORE GOING if oysters are what you're looking for. They said they hadn't gotten a delivery. If that were the case, I would have been careful to take the sign down for the day. After all, people have to pay to park only to find this out. The second part of the down side: It was happy hour, so we decided to at least have a drink and enjoy the view. (As it was only 4 pm, we weren't hungry enough to have dinner.) I ordered a margarita and my husband ordered a draft beer. The margarita was less than satisfactory, tasting like it was made with a generic mix, which I thought was kind of cheesy considering the white-tablecloth venue. But hey, it was happy hour. When we got the bill, we were surprised to see that the "happy hour half price" for the margarita was at least $8.50 (it might have been higher but I can't find the receipt, tho the charge on my credit card without tip, which we left in cash, was $15.43 for the two drinks). We asked the server how that could be, and he said "Because it's made with Patron." I said I didn't ask for Patron, I just asked for a garden variety margarita. He said they're all made with Patron whether you ask or not. I said a standard margarita here is $17? (I didn't add, A standard crappy margarita on which the Patron, if in there, was wasted?) He said yes. So beware of cocktail tricks at this place. Bottom line: I don't enjoy feeling like I have to ask just the right question to know the price I'm going to get charged.

We went last night and sat at the bar. Bartender, not sure if she was actually, clearly didn't know what she was doing. Everybody at the bar had a complaint. It took over 30 minutes to get our appetizer which were clams since they were out of oysters. We love the other location on the river. What good is it to have great food with poor management? Nice view and good food.

Scam promo - first buy an overpriced drink then you are entitled to three pint sized orders SCAM ALERT

The seafood was frozen and it was noticable. This is NOT what I expect from a restaurant that literally overlooks a marina. Incidentally, the view of the marina was the only saving grace. The drinks were weak and the calimari spongy.

Beautiful wiev, but sadly that all what you get. Food was lame, not really bad but not good also. Restaurant need renovation also.

Had to stay at a nearby hotel . Made a reservation to eat here . Arrived and it was a ghost town; no inside tables were busy, only two tables outside and someone at the bar. We were starving so we stayed . Food was awful, my shrimp scampi was swimming in oil. Pasta was way overcooked . Slow service . Will never be back .

The food was delicious and good portions! The views are amazing! The service was equally good! Our server was very attentive and made great recommendations! We got there a bit late and our server made sure to come and inform us the kitchen was closing in case we wanted to order anything else!!

The service was good-food was OK. For a seafood restaurant, you might expect much more. Outdoor balcony seating overlooks the marina.

The food is excellent, probably because it's not cooked until you actually order. Main courses are huge. We had enough for dinner that night and the leftovers made a great meal next day. Best Avocado Salad ever! Great selection of wines. Outside seating is completely covered by a roof. The service is very good without being imperious. My silk scarf had slipped to the floor, but had been placed in a safe spot, from where I was able to retrieve it the next day. Very helpful staff.

Had drinks and apps here before a cruise out of Miami. Excellent views from the outside deck which has a top so you don't melt. Everything about Casablanca screams money so don't come here unprepared. This place is not for everyone. If you can get past the damage done to your wallet, excellent drinks and food. Our server Juan Carlos R was excellent and took good care of us.

The restaurant was not busy but we waited some time to have our order taken and to make requests. The food was so so. The temperature of the food was not hot...lukewarm perhaps. Prices were steep. We will not return.

I WENT WITH MY HUSBAND BECAUSE I Heard that it was famous for the seafood which I do confirm. The food is deliciously perfect and super fresh. The price is a bit high but I would definitely go back.

Came at lunch on a Tuesday, not busy. Sat outside to great views of the bay. Service started with Mahi mahi fish dip, it was nice. Then ordered the Peruvian Ceviche it was really good and fresh. Service outstanding

Took my Mom and daughter for mother's day after I called to make the reservation and asked if we could order a la carte. When we got there we were informed that we could only if we paid for the buffet also even if we didn't partake of the buffet. My mom being that very nice older person that she is and not wanting to have to go back down the stairs, past all the stores and thru the immense lobby of the Marriott to the valet for our car persuaded me into staying. Well, the food that was meant to be cold was warm and the food that was supposed to be hot was cold. The pasta sauces looked coagulated, the crab claws and shrimp were as skinny as a stirring straw, the fried fish was undercooked the beef was overcooked and the fried frituritas were cooked the day before. We tried a little of everything but nothing was edible except for the mini desserts which we had plenty of in order to placate our hunger. We did get a bottle of champagne for the table which was not bad but once the waitress set it on the table we never saw her again. Our plates of food piled up on the table as we served ourselves the champagne. The décor is very tacky and old but the view is nice. And that is the only nice thing I can say about Casablanca on the Bay down!

This restaurant is phenomenal. The views are spectacular, indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff and an extensive wine list. The appetizers were excellent and the entree's couldn't have been better. Now we did spend $200 dollars but it was incredible. A must in Miami!

Great happy hour on the bay. Lovely to sit outside under the roof. We had drinks and coconut shrimp. Tasty but the best was the guava cheesecake. Friendly service. They add an 18% gratuity automatically to your bill.

This place has potential, but.... staff always seems tired and not very attentive, not usual American hospitality. I had huge plate of fish and seafood which was ok. Fish was bit too salty, sauce way to creamy (perhaps serving on a side would be better option), shrimps were great. Location is beautiful, overviewing marina.

The restaurant is in a beautiful location right on the water. We were seated inside as a large party was coming to sit outside. It took about 20 minutes for us to get service, we were only a party of 3. Our server was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. She was very helpful when I asked for substitutions due to a dietary restriction. We did enjoy the free Wednesday oysters! When ordering they were out of a few of the menu items, though it was early in the evening. The food we did order was DELICIOUS. The salmon was amazing, very flavorful and a huge portion. We were very happy to have stumbled upon Casablanca On the Bay while in Miami.

This restaurant charges outrageous prices for terrible food. I had the scallops when I was there and they were the worst I have ever had. Completely tasteless, I thought I was eating Whale Blubber. They have TV sets on the wall with all of them tuned to people catching fish. Really do I care about that?

This place is great. Looking over the bay. Very large buffet selection. Our waiter was really nice and made sure our glasses were never empty. I also liked that we could smoke a cigar on the patio. Great brunch crowd. Also free valet parking. Look forward to going back..

View over harbor amazing even in rain. Noisy and loud restaurant. Trio musicians add to volume. Beer wine tropical avocado salad lomo saldado all good. Snapper in lemon caper sauce sent back - who puts cream in caper sauce? Prefer to sit on patio but booked with very large party.

I’m in Miami for business. My travel partner decided he wanted to go to Casablanca. Wednesday’s are free oysters day. Nice! Except, they ran out of horseradish and I think it was marinara trying to be passed off as cocktail sauce. I ordered the seafood Zarzuela. When it arrived, I poked into the sauce and dug out all my seafood, attempted to clean and add back to the sauce, trying to salvage this horrendous meal. One type of the seafood was shrimp. Whole, in the shell, head, tentacles, etc. I attempted to remove the meat of the shrimp, after soaked in tomato broth, with no success. My waiter came and asked how things were and I asked “how am I supposed to eat this”? He said he would get the manager. Turns out, the manager was too busy to find a few minutes to address my concerns. $36 for this trash. To top it off, our dinner check was $200. I’m here two more weeks and will not return. Very disappointed!

Ismael was an amazing server, very professional and friendly, the food was very good with a fantastic view.He recommended exquisite plates rich in flavors.

Extensive, menu of sea food. Everything was good, beautiful outside view of the marina. Would highly recommend.

We went for a birthday party for all you can eat brunch. The food was borderline. Ceviche was ok, but the "picanha" was so hard you couldn't cut through it. The fried fish was extremely dry. The value for the brunch is reasonable ($70 all you can eat and drink) but the food was not great. I was also very disappointed with the level of service. The waitress was annoyed. We had 3 children and they made us pay $30. When I asked her about it she said she was send over the manager. When he showed up he said "they are taking up a chair on the table and therefore they pay". We were in a party of 20 people, very disappointing that they made it a point to charge the small children. Then when you go to pay they dont give you the option to review/select the tip.

Even on Super Bowl Sunday, Casablanca was almost empty. We only came here because one of our party mistakenly thought that it was another restaurant, Casablanca Seafood Bar & Grill. The staff were unctuous and unhelpful. They refused to add grilled Mahi to a salad because the total for the 2 would amount to less than a full meal! So much for trying to supersize us. The Avocado salad was a few pieces of green with chewy avocado chunks. The Caesar Salad was quite tasteless. The Coconut Shrimp was over-grilled, dry, and had many bits of shrimp shell mixed in with the batter. The Ahi Tuna was a large plate, but was left most uneaten - poor taste and poor consistency. The "new" billing mechanism does not allow custom tipping.

Receptionist was not welcoming. She rather felt like a beauty queen that had to stoop to be a receptionist. Place was on the noisy side. I had a rather novice but very nice and kind waitress. I ordered seared scallops and they were poorly prepared. Sloppy plate presentation and chewy scallops. I simply returned them and ask they be taken off my tab to which they complied. One persons opinion....dont waste your time going there. There are better places for the same price.

One of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten at. On a Saturday evening, the entire inside of the restaurant was empty and the outside seating was only half full. Those should have been two red flags. The server’s outfit was absolutely filthy. It wasn’t like there was a spill or something. It was grimy. They brought me a salad where the lettuce was turning black. I asked for it to be remade and the server said they couldn’t because that was the only lettuce they had. Everything about this place looks sad and old. On the plus side, the speciality cocktail was good.

I took my wife there for her birthday and we had a wonderful time, the place is clean and the food is delicious

It took forever to get appetizers. Never brought bread. Never asked if we wanted more beverages or served more water. Seafood gratine was good but heavy, salad w Mahi had almost no Mahi on it. If you're going to charge 15 go the fish, there better be fish in the salad. Our server was very friendly but kitchen clearly overwhelmed. At 10pm and with only one other table. Apparently they wanted to go early and close the kitchen as we were reminded several times.

We arrived at about 9pm with my taste buds desperate for crab cakes. We sat over looking the bay perfect we thought until our Pina Colada’s arrived, Vile is an understatement. The hostess replaced them with two more made with Malibu at our request, they were much better. Starved after a 9hour flight we were pleased to see our food arrive. My crab cakes were okish, mediocre at best. Not even halfway through our meal, I heard the women at the next table gurgle and as I made a dash for the door all I could hear was vomit hitting the floor! My friend and I sought refuge at the bar totally grossed out. The real shocker came when the waitress presented us with the bill for the uneaten and ruined meal. We paid because we are true brits. But after the bartender offered us a drink on the house and informed us that the vomiting women had drank 14 Mojitos in 5 hours we thought better of it. We left promptly.

The view of the bay was lovely but that is the only thing that was. Service was very poor - waiter was inattentive and repeatedly forgot our requests. Assistant staff did not speak English and wasn’t able to follow up on our requests. I got a seafood mix - the lobster was over cooked and not separated from the shell making it very hard to eat. The clams and mussels were poor cleaned and very gritty. To top it off, several hours later I got severe food poisoning and puked up everything all night. One of the worst meals of my life!

I was traveling alone and came up twice to grab a bite at the bar and felt comfortable. Food and drinks were good.

When we think about seafood we think Casablanca. My family has eaten there several times and it never disappoints we have yet to get a bad plate. It also has a great view and free Valet Parking!

We had dinner here on a Sunday night. We had lobster ravioli and shrimp scampi. Everything was prepared perfectly. The service was excellent.

On our stay in Miami for our 30th anniversay we enjoyed the sights and sounds and smells at this wonderful restaurant. Jaun Carlos was our waiter and his suggestions and attentiveness were on point. Everything about this meal was perfect. My wife had the scallops and i had the paella casablanca. I consider myself a connoisseur of seafood and this was definitely one of the best dishes i have ever had. For dessert my wife had the cheese cake and i asked for key lime pie which was not on the menu and i am so glad i did. The presentation was very different and the pie itself was incredible. If you like prime seafood great views and service (Juan Carlos) then this is a must. Bon appetite!!!

This is the 1st time I ever reviewed a restaurant 3 times in 1 year. After they overbooked their Sunday brunch at $25 which was totally chaotic, I went back in December 2017 for my daughter’s birthday. It was a totally different ballgame. Everything was perfect. They even offered a bottle of Champagne to my daughter (not Cava). So, I decided to go back for my birthday (May 2018) with my wife, my daughter and my sister who was visiting us from Canada. What a mistake! 1st of all the price went up to $45 from $35 in December, which would have been fine with me with unlimited mimosas like before. However, I was told that drinks were not included so, if you wanted your drinks to be included, you had to add another $25 which makes it $70 before tax and 18% gratuities. At $70 before tax and gratuities for a Sunday brunch, they are now competing in a different league. The food was just terrible. When my wife told me to stay away from the oysters, I thought she was being picky. In fact, they were mushy and were melting in your mouth. After 2 attempts, I decided to give up not to get sick. The ceviche was not fresh either. Other than the lobster bisque and the cheese cake everything else was just terrible. As for my wife who is a pescatarian, the only options she had were a breaded Tilapia which was tasteless and a whole salmon for which she had to wait over 20 minutes for it because it was in the oven. Even a cheap Chinese Buffet serves better food than what we experienced that Sunday. The view is still awesome in spite of the rain and the Latin vibe is great if you enjoy loud Latin music. Service was good because the waiter remembered us. The place was packed with people celebrating their birthdays and very noisy. To be quite honest, for a special occasion like my birthday, it would have been by far better to pay $90 and enjoy a 5 Stars brunch at the Biltmore Hotel which is much closer to my house and, we could drink real Champagne (not Cava) and eat fresh crab, shrimp, lobster and even caviar. After 3 strikes, Casablanca on the Bay is out.

tasty options, reasonable happy hour prices, great views, fair service. busy during happy hour. no issues. be sure you get the tuna tartare!

We had a great meal here. Started off with some complimentary smoked fish dip which was great. The white wine sangria was amazing and the fish ceviche was outstanding. Couldn’t get enough of it!! Our entrees followed, which were great as well. We had a ribeye steak, a red snapper, a lobster and shrimp pasta and twin lobster tails. Everything was great and the presentation was inviting as well. The service was great and outdoor seating g was awesome, with a full view of the harbor. Good value for money and casual atmosphere.

Ok so we found this place jut walking and exploring the hotel. I had just eaten in the Primo's restaurant in the Double Tree downtown. So when we found it, it was Sunday. they had brunch going on for $55 all you can eat food and drink. we were so made bc no one at the hotel mentioned the Sunday experience. they place was nice they had a dj, the views where amazing OMG. I wish we has explored the hotel a little when we got there. So this is a place for the weeding party ladies to go or just ladies period. Couples too. WE DID NOT EAT THERE. HOPEfully the food was good lol and the drinks the ppl in there looked like they were have a good time.

The menu had many choices, the fish was fresh and the portions were good size. The service was good and quick without a rush. Nice view overlooking the water and boats. My business associates enjoyed the meal.

Had the twin lobster tails for dinner tonight and they were delicious! Almost too much for one person! First time at this restaurant and I would go back service was also excellent!

Beautiful view of bay! Food was delicious. Conveniently located in the hotel we stayed in while vacationing in Miami.

We were promptly greeted and were seated on outside seating that had an amazing view of Biscayne Bay and the Miami Skyline The complimentary mahi Fish dip served with fried plantains were delicious Started with seafood chowder which was so tasty, and the shrimp ecscargot which was to die, it was so flavorful Main courses were seafood paella and herb crusted Salmon, both were extremely delicious as well Dessert consisted of key lime Pie and the most decadent chocolate dessert I have ever had, believe it was called Chocolate spill over. Our Server was professional, informative and very friendly Was an amazing dinner with an amazing view Thank you so Much

A bit overpriced for the amount of food you get. Ordered room service, the pork belly was tender and juicy but other than that not worth the price.

Ate here last year and stopped by this trip mainly for convenience. What a great meal we had. Great great paella and I make it at home so I am really picky. Service was 5 star but to be honest it was not busy so that helps. Enjoy

This restaurant was recommended and we were excited to try it. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, the hostess was unfriendly and rude. The waiter could not understand that we wanted a vodka and lemonade cocktail. The food was horrible. Very disappointing experience. On top of everything else, expensive.

After some serious thoughts, I decided to go back to Casablanca on the Bay for Sunday Brunch but only with my wife this time and just after Thanksgiving. I was pleasantly surprised to see the place was not a zoo like the last time. Regular brunch was $35 and not $25. Obviously, you have to add tax and gratuity and, you pay upfront then, they give you a bracelet. We didn’t even have to wait to be seated. It was busy but not crowded. The service was normal, Management staff friendly and they didn’t run out of food or plates or utensils or anything at all. Based on my conversation with 1 of the Managers, when they run the previous promotion, it was overbooked by more than 100%. I believe they are learning the hard way because some people would never go back. This time, Casablanca on the Bay did meet all my expectations. Subsequently, I returned again on a Sunday in December for my daughter’s birthday. OMG! The service was outstanding. They even offered a complementary bottle of Champagne (Moet) to us. I was speechless. I would definitely go back with my wife, daughters and granddaughter for the view, the food, unlimited Mimosas, free valet parking and, after all, the price is still reasonable.

Excellent food and service, definitely we come back.Love this place and I recommend the grilled octopus and the seafood zarzuela ❤️👏👏

We went for lunch at Casablanca On The Bay which is located in the Hilton DoubleTree/Marriott hotel complex. The restaurant has large windows providing superb views of Biscayne Bay. We started with 6 oysters $10 and avocado salad $8 followed by main courses of Tagliatelle Alfredo with shrimps $22. We had wine by the glass $11 each. All the dishes were excellent and the service too was attentive.

We paid 140 in advance for the reservation of 4 people. In addition, we paid for "The Miami Spice" 315, paying in total 455 dollars. The only extra we ask was 2 wines for two person and two margarites. At the end we pay around 115 per person for a food that was "ok".If the price of the Miami Spice was 60 per person, how we paid almost the double at the end? Was a steal, do not recommend at all.

The walk into the place is through an old run down strip mall so that takes away a bit. The service was slow and the bar tender noted our wait time so he came over and asked if he could do anything for us. I would go back and hope the wait staff were a little more on the ball next visit.

We went here for a celebration of a PhD dissertation. We chose it for the view and fixed priced menu. Our party was 5 people and the bill was $368. The fixed-price dinners were $39 and we had 1/2 price cocktails and appetizers. The steaks and fish were all overdone. We asked for medium-rare and got medium-well. The fish was dry and the sauces were bland. Dessert was huge but dry and tasteless. In Miami, there are better places to go.

I had to wait a couple hours for my passport across the street and I found out that Wednesday is free oysters day. That and half-price beer was a great treat.

We went with the family to enjoy drinks and some food but not dinner. Waiter brings food and toss on the table, takes forever to bring drinks. Gesticule with other waiters about our table. Then bring another food and toss on the table again. That was enough, I went to the manager and ask for the bill and said that I did not want the waiter any longer with the table. Waiter comes to the table and asked what is wrong. Even the manager has no clue what is going.

Amazing experience, really good food and service 👏👏👏👏👏👏 the ambiance was great, the cocktails are super flavorful and the staff very friendly and attentive definitely we come back ❤️❤️

I was very disappointed in this place. I started with some chips/salsa and the chips were so stale, I passed after one bite - not a good sign of things to come. I ordered the mahi mahi fish special. It was extremely dry and had a sour taste to it. It was so bad, I only ate a quarter of it. It wasn't very busy at the bar so the bartender had left. When he finally returned and asked me how it was, I felt bad but told him that the fish was terrible for the reasons I mentioned here. I even suggested he try a small bite from my uneaten portion of the fish - he declined. When I told him how dry and sour it was, he said, "yes, it is dry, I probably should have told you before you ordered it." I don't know anything about the bartender - he seemed like a nice guy, but I can't remember the last time I had a meal at a restaurant this bad, and left hungry. If you're staying at the Marriott or Hilton on Bayshore, come for the views, but I would not dine here.

We were so looking forward to go for brunch, we had been here before a few times during the week for dinner or happy hour, really great, you could sit on the beautiful terrace and enjoy the night, so, we made a reservation to go back for brunch, we were celebrating a friend’s birthday and thought it could be perfect brunch here. OMG this was awful, the music inside and outside was so loud that you could not even talk across the table, we asked to lower the music but it was not really possible, we tried to stay but it was unbearable and unfortunately we had to leave, they were kind enough to let us leave and I appreciate it but, honestly I would NEVER go back there for brunch with that loud music, it was like being in a club, which is fine if you are planning to go to an actual club at night but, definitely NOT on a Sunday brunch where we could not even talk to each other @casablancaonthebay I am sorry guys, it was really bad, so bad that we had to leave before having our brunch and go to another restaurant. On Oct.5, a group of 30 plus conference attendees arrived for our 6:30 reservation and seated. Group was to order from a pre-set menu given our number. Drink orders not involving water was taken. After some time our orders where taken. It was here that our problems began. Wait staff did not finish with drink orders and after the dinner orders were taken, the wait staff disappeared altogether. I presume some may have "walked". Food did not come to our section of the group until after an hour and fifteen minutes. By this time it was 8 pm. After finishing our meals, still no wait staff and no checks. I personally had to ask several times to be able to pay my bill. My check was printed the first time with items that I did not order and then another check was printed at 8:55 pm. It was 9:42 when my card was scanned and we left the restaurant. Way to long to have dinner @ $70 per person. I felt badly for the wait staff that tried but hold management responsible for fiasco. Will never return.

Delicious! They have a 2x1 on whole lobsters, fresh cooked on the grill. The place itself is beautiful and the vibe in from of the marina is so soothing. Will definitely be coming back for their new Brunch on Saturday.

We had lunch here. No special lunch menu. The food was okay but just average. The waiter was great and attentive though. We won’t return.

This was the worst food I have eaten in ages!!! my husband ordered the famous "seafood Sopon" and it was literally cold and tasted like old water with old seafood. I ordered the shrimps stuffed with crab meat and again ....tiny shrimps stuffed with horrible crab meat, presentation horrible, ordered "fried green plantains"...soggy and just horrible!!!!

The first thing you see when you enter is a view of Biscayne Bay through the floor to ceiling windows. The restaurant has a very nice and relaxing nautical atmosphere. The catch of the day is on ice by the bar for you to see just how fresh it actually is! It is a bit pricey ($$$ out of $$$$), but it was worth every penny. For those staying at the DoubleTree Grand Biscayne prior to taking a cruise, it's located within the shops adjacent to the hotel. Great views of the bay and also the cruise port. Excellent choice for those looking for a bayfront restaurant!

Even though the place needs some furniture improvement the restaurant is nice, very good service and good food. Direct view to the bay is a plus.

We went for the Wednesday special of free oysters and happy hour. The oysters just came coming. Jean Carlos was fantastic and really looked after us. My wife had a seafood pasta dish and I had a seafood special. Both were great but too much squid on both plates though

I would recommend the outdoor seating overlooking Key Biscayne Bay. Indoor decor is beautiful, but view outdoors is a must. The dinner was fantastic... appetizers were on par with other Miami restaurants, but the main dishes were over the top great! Both in portion size, complexities, had amazing sauces, and the freshness of the seafood was amazing! I would recommend the outdoor seating overlooking Key Biscayne Bay.

I went to Casablanca On the Bay because it was right next to my hotel. I sat at the bar since I was traveling alone for business. The bartender was quick to greet me and provide me with menus. I wanted a 1/2 dz oysters but they were out... It was only 7pm so I was surprised by this. I ordered the linguine and mussels. It was good but not great. The noodles were a little gummy and it needed a touch more seasoning. All in all it was ok but not sure I would go again.

Made a reservation for the location on the river. When we arrived, they had no record of our reservation & the hostess was very confused. When my husband made the reservation, he had to repeat our name, phone # & reservation time numerous times to the person taking our reservation. We should have known it was going to be a problem.

Casablanca is a bayside restaurant in the grand Doubletree hotel specializing in fresh seafood. Allison took great care of us and made a number of great recommendations. Lobster Bisque was our favorite. We also enjoyed the Malbec and LemonDrop Martinis. Shrimp Fettucini and Grouper were also special. Many thanks to Allison for making us feel especially welcome!

Food was delicious! Staff was wonderful! View was spectacular! Allison was so nice and quick with drinks and refills.

Good food and exceptional viewing of the harbor and bay. The service was somewhat slow but Ok. Our waiter had poor command of English but did OK. Just OK.

Nice atmosphere. Sat at a window table overlooking the harbor. We ordered yummy appetizers: fried octopus, lobster bisque, and coconut shrimp all delicious. We received a free carafe of sangria and a smoked fish appetizer. We should have stopped there, but we forged on....one on our party had a Reuben and claimed it tasty. Two in our party ordered an au gratin fish serving and loved it. I had crab stuffed shrimp that were great. As you can read, the menu offerings were varied and good. Service was excellent. Highly recommend.

Ok everyone, story time. Food was great, view was stellar but that is exactly where it ends. We went for a special occasion based on a Facebook special the restaurant made on June 1. A. THIS SPECIAL IS NOT HONORED. B. Our server clearly didn’t care and didn’t know anything about it. C. He was angry about something and/or was simply rude. D. It took roughly 20 minutes to get the check after finishing our meal. Since I work in the industry and know that this server was likely unemployed/underemployed recently, I still tipped 20% but he truly deserved nothing. Since the view was so great and the food was good, I will probably give it another chance. Hopefully leadership is reading these comments but I highly doubt they are.

The service was awful, so was the waiter. The food took extremely long, the appetizer came together with the main course. Waiter did not come around to offer water, we were 10 people very thirsty, would ask for water and no one would come. Horrible mothers day experience thanks to casa blanca on the bay. You will never, ever, ever see us there again

Very good for birthdays.Delicious food and amazing service.Ask for Ismael he is very professional and friendly. The view is fantastic and the atmosphere is super relax

Excellent food and service, the grill octopus was fantastic and the black grouper very tender and rich in flavor, definitely we come back

We had a lovely dinner before our cruise. Our server was Alex. Everything was delicious. Red Snapper Ceviche was phenomenal. And I had my first Mojito!

This is a beautiful restaurant on the bay with gorgeous views. The food was excellent and the service was great. The restaurant was clean.

Excellent food and service, definitely we come back.I recommend the octopus and lobster and shrimp pasta. The view is simply amazing

We had to call to find the place. We didn’t see anything about being in a hotel, and GPS took us to a different hotel. They had a list of foods that they did not have. I’m going to compare the food to Red Lobster or maybe just a tad better on some and worse on others. The restaurant and view are beautiful, but not so good that it makes to food worth it. It was quite costly for not being fresh. We were very disappointed.

Me and my boyfriend brought in his birthday here. It was amazing. Great food, awesome drinks great amibiance

So we walked in wanting to get just a drink at the bar. We had our name in on a waiting list at another restaurant. The place was sort of empty so we didn't think it was good for eating. How hard can you mess up a glass of wine? So we sat at the bar. The bartender Adrien was friendly. Service was good. The place had an enticing aroma. So we asked for a menu. Found a few things we thought we'd try and abandoned our wait list option and ordered. The food was good. The snapper was terrific. Big bar. Lots of seats. Located on the 2nd floor of the mall so that may explain why it's surprisingly empty.

First time here and what a great discovery, first of all it is very hard to find outdoor places in Miami on the water, I know, it is crazy but, it is true, not so many places have outdoor dining on the water so this was a great find. The veranda is overlooking the Marina and in the distance you see Miami Beach, so beautiful and peaceful. Now that the humidity is getting better it is fantastic to sit here at sunset and just breathe in, have a little wine, maybe some oysters or more and enjoy it, this is why we live here, just love it ❤️ I did not try any main dishes, just appetizers, lobster croquetas, crispy calamari and oysters I but definitely recommend it. On Wednesday they have the best Happy Hour 5 free oysters with each drink ! They also have Brunch deals, right now Miami Spice too, so I will be back for sure and try more @casablancaonthebay For more of my favorite restaurants, places and more, like my Facebook page Naddia’s Favorites or follow me on Instagram @naddias_favorites

I was staying at a restaurant next door, and had been to the restaurant 2 years ago - or I would not have known it was upstairs. I ordered a gin and tonic and got 8 oysters free!!! They were not large but they were very nice. I ordered the salmon and it was perfectly cooked and very delicious. The roasted potatoes had no taste, seemed like a sad side for such a great fish dish. Service was good and helped with my selections. Will eat here again when I am in Key Biscayne.

Ate there a couple of times. Free oysters on Wednesday, and at every happy hour. Don't miss the grilled calamari.

Best seafood and amazing views of Biscayne bay! Definitely a hidden gem in Miami. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Service was very good with the wait staff and bartender being very attentive. Food was excellent. Great views of the marina and the bay.

On November 17, visit this restaurant for the first time. It was quite empty just one table with people inside it was 9 o'clock in the evening. It had been made reservation for three people on the outside. when we arrived they took us straight outside but the was not ready so we had to choose the option to sit inside. The person who served us took a long time to get to our table, when he finally did he left us the wine and food list. He retired immediately having a good time to return. We ordered the wine without him having reviewed any of us. After a while I asked him if they did not put bread in. And they answered that they gave chips with a crab sauce but it was over and the cook was preparing it, strange the restaurant not to be full. The food was ordered and served with very good presentation. My Mahi-Mahi fish was over cook and dry and my portion compared to the others two tuna and snapper was very small. We really went very unhappy of this restaurant we expected a much better customer service than the one we received.

Five stars because our experience was fantastic, the food rich in flavors same the cocktails and the best part was the server really professional and friendly, definitely we come back as soon as possible

Went in for lunch. I was greeted and seated promptly. The staff was very friendly. They gave me the option to sit outside on the open air patio. But chose to sit inside. Night time would be great to sit on the patio for the view of the bay and ocean. Was very quiet. I received my food quickly and was very fresh. I think it would be a great place for a romantic dinner.

I went for dinner together with my wife and I had the most terrible dining experience with this restaurant. We were staying at Hilton and decided to enjoy a seafood dinner on a romantic date. Service: Drinks were served on time and of good quality Orders were taken on time and menu looks OK. After 15 mins all of a sudden what I noticed was my main courses were brought to the table while I was still waiting for my appetizers. There was a confusion and dishes wee taken back and my appetizer was served later. Appetizer was delicious we had octopus. While we were half way through the appetizer our Waiter brought the main courses and started putting on the table while i am not even finished my appetizer. It was unacceptable we do make errors understandably but most important thing is to rectify that error and provide delightful service experience I'd the key for customers service experience.i was annoyed and told waiter why he was serving the main courae but still he put the main courae on table and started arguing with customer and giving excuses for their errors. Main courses were cold by the time we wanted to eat and my Rib eye steak I ordered MR becMe medium and cold. Side dishes were of poor quality and my wife shrimp dish was unedible Nd executed very poorly. Overall a very poor and terrible dining experience I would not recommend going there for dining. Manager came by and comp the drinks Nd appetizer but that is not the point. The moments will never back.mynhoneymoon date was ruined and it will never come back. Sai Director of F&B The World USA

Best and freshest fish in downtown Miami, service was over the top, and the taste of the food was absolutely great, all side orders were sublime as well, we ordered a fresh snapper and they cooked it on the grill for us, great experience, good place, highly recommended

Outstanding food offered at the restaurant with a beautiful view of the water. Service on point. If you are a fan of seafood, you will struggle to decide on just one option! Whatever you choose, you will love the food.

The Oysters and Ceviche were so fresh they tasted like they were fished out of the Bay that morning. The other stations were awesome including a whole fried Salmon, Ribeye, Caprese Salad Pallela. Just so many delicious options and I am usually hard to please. The views were breathtaking. The waiter did not allow any glasses to finish of the Bottomless Mimosas. I had an amazing time and will definetly be back!!!

Staying at the Double Tree Grand on Biscayne Bay - Casablanca was recommended to us. Stopped by at 4:00 PM for a cocktail, and was told they were Cleaning up from brunch and could seat us at 5:30. At 5:30 we came back and the hostess told us they weren’t seating anyone yet. Asked her when they would open and she replied she had no idea. Asked her if I could speak to the person in Charge and she said she could not do that - no explanation given. Saw the same answer given to three other groups while we stood there. Again, no explanation. This might be a nice place, and there may have been a plausible explanation, but there is some serious training needed here. We travel a lot for both pleasure and business - this was a first for us.

Lovely waterfront dining! We really enjoyed the stuffed lobster tails and scallops. The live music and views of the water made for a perfect evening.

Dinner for 7 was excellent. Paella outstanding & steaks good. A little noisy but manageable, waiters/waitresses very attentive. Prices a tad on high side for specials but still lots of reasonably priced standard menu items.

Sometimes you don't expect quality in a hotel restaurant but this totally surprised me. Beautiful view of Biscayne Bay (inside the DoubleTree Grand on Bay Shore Drive). Wife, me and another couple dined on Saturday evening before our Monday cruise (stayed at DoubleTree). So good we came back the next night (even though we went to Bay Str. Market and South beach). Excellent seafood. Try the Snapper and Lobster bisque soup!

We were in Miami for a short stay and had no idea where to go for dinner. We wandered into Casablanca On the Bay because it had a great view of the marina. We never expected to have one of the best dining experiences ever. The food was delicious. Our server, Yancier, was charming and funny, making us feel as if we were his only table (which we were not). It's one thing to have a great view for dinner, or to have a delicious meal, but Yancier made it a memorable, special evening.

Came during Boat Show for dinner. Hostess seated us promptly outside over the bay which was nice. Our waiter was non-existent and was preoccupied with another table of Spanish speaking guests. The food was abysmal by any standard. The bar was no better turning out one of the worst old fashions I've ever ordered. Two other tables next to us also sent their food back and left. With so much crazy good food in Miami one has to wonder how this place has survived with service and food this bad.

The outdoor patio has fantastic water views. The patio is covered, so you are not baking in the sun and free to take in the views. The seafood options were delicious. We enjoyed every minute of our dinner and can't wait to return. Free valet parking at the hotel made it easy to get in-and-out.

Bought 2 groupons for their Sunday brunch. Went in February to use one of the groupons. The food for the price of the groupon was 2 stars. Anyway, when I went to pay gave the phone to the waitress with the groupon, but she didn't know how to do it, but went to get the manager to do it. Later, when I went to get my other groupon it turned out that the restaurant clicked both of my groupons it showed redeemed Groupon told me to contact the restaurant to get it back. The restaurant is worthless: * Called numerous times, left messages explaining my call, but they never returned my calls * Sent numerous emails explaining what had happened, but I never got a reply. They ignored me completely. I should have done the review back when it happened. Will never go to any of their restaurants. Roberto

My husband and I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay the night before embarking on a cruise. We got in late - around 6:00 pm - and were tired and hungry after a long day spent in airports and on a plane. Rather than venture out into Miami, we decided to eat at the restaurant there in the hotel. It turned out to be a great choice. Finding it was the hardest part, as we had to navigate through the business/conference area for some reason, but we finally did. There weren't a lot of people in the restaurant, despite it being a Friday night. We opted sit out in the open air seating area, which was where most customers were. We had a great view of the bay and there was a nice breeze. The waiter was friendly and prompt to take our drink orders. The menu was seafood-centric, which I like. To start, I ordered conch fritters and my husband ordered a crab cake. The fritters were very good, not rubbery but tender inside and crispy outside. The crab cake was presented beautifully and apparently it was good judging by how quickly my husband devoured it. As our entrees, I had the lobster bisque and my husband had a crab stuffed shrimp dish with garlic mashed potatoes. The bisque was very good and he thoroughly enjoyed his. We were both too full for dessert. My only complaint, if I had to come up with one, would be that the portions were just a tad skimpy for the price -- but that's not unusual in Miami, I've found. The food was excellent, service was fine, and the restaurant decor was lovely, including a big aquarium in the front and a fish-on-ice bar. I would definitely eat here again.

Fue perfecto , was perfect place! Very nice view, delicius food, super amables.quiet ambience. The lovely monitos omg

The $15 Mojitos had mostly ice and 1/2 a lime with very little to drink. The drink was gone after sipping twice through my straw. After two of them I realized I bearly noticed any alcohol. Our meal was good with a fairly attentive server. I am still not convinced that the fish I had was really caught that day as the waiter said. We did watch another table sit for 25 minutes before they got service. I took a walk over to the fresh fish display which was on a huge mound of ice. Knowing seafood freshness well, I was suprised to see fish with sunken eyes and Oysters with the shells partially open. Both of these suggest seafood that has been around a few days. Labeled as a seafood market as well as a restuarant, I would not come in a a market customer. Our meal bill was quite steep, but this is Miami.

Good food, scallops, lobsters, vegetables. We went for lunch on a weekday. Few people. View with the small boats/yachts in the foreground and the bay in the background was fabulous. Concentrated on seafood and vegetables. Delicious food with ample portions. Attentive service. Each of us had the set menu for $23 each. Nice surroundings.

Late lunch/early dinner with a co-worker. The views of Biscayne Bay were exceptional, food was out of this world, and service by Yancier was beyond what one can imagine.... Would recommend this restaurant to anyone and definitely coming back...

I was invited to a Bridal Shower Brunch in October 2018 at Casablanca on the Bay and it truly exceeded my expectations. I am not really a fan of buffets, but this place had tons of fresh seafood, sushi, paella (rice with different kind of seafood), ribs, salads and delicious desserts. I believe the Mother of the Bride told me that she paid $110/per person, which included unlimited food and mimosas. The service was excellent! Every time I looked at my champagne glass, it was refilled by the waiter. The Bridal Shower was inside, however we had a view of the beautiful marina. The outside of the restaurant has a terrace with the view of the marina and the buildings along the inter coastal, perfect for pictures. I will definitely come back here again. Thank you Casablanca for such an amazing experience!

Brunching with a view music unlimited mimosas great food selection what else can you ask for. Amazing

Attentive service. Great view. Paella was okay but not any better than what I have had in the Southwest away from a coast.

We were staying at The Doubletree by Hilton and ate here on Friday night. The restaurant was probably only half full. We were very disappointed by our server, Louis P. We think that once he heard our non American accent, he turned off. He was not friendly and he gave us little to no service. He “checked in” to see how our food was before we’d even had a second to taste it then we didn’t see him again. One of the other servers had to help us The food however was excellent. Hubby had the linguine with clams and I had the ravioli filled with lobster with shrimp. Both our meals were delicious and faultless. We did mention to the manager we weren’t happy with the service and he was apologetic and offered us a complimentary drink, which wasn’t what we were seeking. However it was a nice gesture.

We ate here twice whilst staying in the adjacent hotel. On the first occasion we were unimpressed by the overcooked coconut shrimps which were served with a sickly sweet sauce and the arctic seared tuna, again served with a sickly sweet sauce. On our second visit we opted for a seafood linguine which was wonderful and then followed it with a chocolate desert, most attractively presented which we loved. So we suggest you choose very carefully

We had the Tuna Tartar (good) and the Fettuccine Alfredo, Cesar’s Salad and Alexis Salmon (all 3 very poorly prepared for various reasons) and suggest you look for another restaurant. It’s been awhile since we experienced such poor value for money ……… and it’s wasn’t cheap either!!!

The food was very good, a bit expensive really. The inside is almost a sportsbar restaurant, not charming at all but the outside is very nice with a great view of the canal and south beach. The escargot shrimp were not that spectacular as we were told by some friends, th scallops and shrimp scampi were much better. Best of all the chocolate dessert, couldn’t finish it and we were four! The waiter was very friendly, thanks Larry!

Last night here and we discovered this walking around. Great views of the biscayne bay. Great fresh seafood and awesome bar.

Scenic view! We came for happy hour. Our server Larry was knowledgeable and was h tor perfect blend of attentive, yet laid back service. We did not need anything - except a 2nd round of food! The tuna tartare and coconut shrimp were excellent but the real star of the show: Grilled octopus!! Bummed we weren’t there for Wednesday HH oysters but we will certainly return when back in Miami. Oh, and the Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon was a sleeper hit! 🍷

Great service with a friendly smile. Manatees right off the patio drinking the fresh water from the dock hoses. Oysters were large and delicious. The coconut shrimp was crispy, fresh, and delicious. Truffle fries were excellent along with the seafood pasta. We will be back on our next trip to Miami.

We ate dinner in this restaurant and decided to sit outdoors. The view was lovely. We had excellent service and a very good meal. The lobster bisque was tasty although not the best I had on our vacation. The mahi mahi was excellent.

We first visited on a Saturday night and found the food to be excellent and the service to be truly exceptional. But my best impression of the restaurant was when we returned 5 days later with two friends, to treat them to dinner. We had reservations and were seated immediately. However, it was around 10 minutes before a waiter or waitress showed up at the table. We gave her our drink order and she apologized for our having to wait. The manager came by and offered us a free pour of wine (which was more than a double pour), and again apologized that we had waited. The food was a bit late and it was obvious that they were having some problems in the kitchen. My stuffed shrimp was hot but the accompanying mashed potatoes were stone cold. I asked it they would just reheat the potatoes, and the waitress left - came back with the manager - and he offered to not charge any of us for any of our meals. This was way over the top and I insisted that I understood their short-staffed situation, but he insisted even though he knew we were just visiting Miami and would not have a chance to return any time soon. I have had very few experiences in which a restaurant would go to such extremes to make sure we were fully satisfied. I highly recommend you put this restaurant on your list when in Miami.

The restaurant is on the second floor of a hotel. From their website, it seemed as if it was a really fun restaurant on the water. It is on the bay but has little outside dining and not much waterfront ambience. Our waitress was attentive. We arrived at 6:30, and according to their website, happy hour isn’t over until 7, but our waitress told us it ends at 6. ?? The garlic mashed potatoes were instant potatoes made with water and garlic powder…very disappointing. The coconut shrimp was definitely nothing to write home about and I would bet they were purchased battered and frozen. My friend ordered oysters and asked for crackers. What would normally be saltine crackers, they were stale club crackers. Overall, very disappointing.

Place to see decent cuisine not at the top is a restaurant that does fish dishes at the moment basically a fishmonger that cooks in Italy there are similar

Picked Casablanca at random looking for a view of the bay and were not disappointed. Tuna Tartare and Salmon Tiradito apps were highlights as was the Snapper and Paella and, for a change from fish, so was the Chicken Alfredo. It might be a little difficult to find so allow a few minutes to get there if you are booking (we had to call to find it from inside the building), but nice there it was a great place to relax and enjoy.

Ate at this location twice while in Miami. Appetizers-Fish fries were off the hook, and so were the crab cakes. Had dinner our last evening in Miami and ordered the Lobster Thermidor. Delicious!!!! Best I've had. Good Luck to the staff with the virus shutting down all of the restaurants and bars.

We stayed in the Double Tree hotel and came upon this wonderful restaurant. The seafood was very fresh and the service was excellent. The view of the bay was beautiful. We will definitely return on our next visit to Miami.

Amazing Food (with very big portions)! Amazing Service! And there are free oysters on Wednesdays - It's a shame there aren't 6 stars!

This restaurant has a great view which should make it at least a 3 star restaurant. But considering the food, it is only a 2-star restaurant. The clue was that it was fairly empty on the end of the holiday weekend. It was pricy and not really worth it - felt a little robbed in both pocket book and palate. It was our first experience in eating conch (the appetizer); none of us are interested in trying it again. Would not recommend.

I was entertaining clients from Tokyo. Service by Yancier was wonderful. He was very attentive, charming and entertaining! Every dish we ordered was delicious.

Don't go to this place. The food is awful. Portions very small comparing to other places. Got grilled calamari (very tough, couldn't chew), octopus was row with no taste at all (frozen), the other few appetizers and entries were terrible as well. Drinks very watery. Don't trust pictures, the food doesn't look even close to the pictures on their website. On top they charge 20% service charge and additional tips. So much disappointment. For the same money, go to Kiki on the River, Seaspice Brasserie & Lounge or Zuma.

Wow!!! Nice surprise. Excellent scallops and the other food looked good as well!!! Great service !! Free oysters on Wednesday’s happy hour. Mojitos were outstanding. Now it is a little more expensive but not enough to overcome the great staff and food.

Checked into our hotel late and decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised! Nice atmosphere, clean, and the food was delicious! The smoked grouper dip and plantains appetizer was so yummy. My salmon was perfection and hubby loved his chicken parm.

Just walked back from probably my worst dining experience in Miami. At first, the restaurant really makes an welcoming and romantic impression. And that was the highlight of our dinner. Between the loud and annoying beat from the ball room beside the restaurant, and the disinterested servant I knew this isn't going to be a great experience. We ordered anyway, giving Casablanca a chance. We are regular at the one by the river, and we've never been disappointed there. We ordered half a dozen oysters and a seafood parillada, that according to the description and the waiter's comments was an excellent choice than would serve the both of us. Then the waiting started until finally the food was been served. To our surprise the oysters and the parillada came together. I believed i order the oysters as an appetizer....anyway, we looked at the seafood parillada and by no means was what we've expected nor, was it was described in the menu. Simply said a big disappointment...first time in my culinary experience that I couldn't wait to get out of a restaurant....we complained to the manager who showed some little understanding. The one and only positive take, the restaurant offered to pay for the food. At least some responsible management like action at the end....

We came to Casablanca for dinner at the end of our honeymoon. Our service was excellent and the food/drinks were amazing. We highly recommend for a feel of local food/atmosphere!

This is a gem hidden from locals! The view is relaxing and beautiful, specially at sunset. We both had seafood and both dishes were very fresh and excellent. They display the fish on ice and will bring to the table if you'd like to see it. The service was attentive but not obtrusive. The sommelier is knowledgeable but easy going. I can't wait to try it for Sunday brunch.

Have a very nice experience a few weeks ago for Sunday Brunch. Great selection, great service. Everything was fresh and very appealing. Enjoy

Went for appetizer and drinks and had Tomas as server. Service was excellent and the food and drinks well worth it. Good happy hour prices to enjoy. Tomas was excellent and took great care of us. We shall return.

Stayed in miami for 4 nights went there the last night, fantastic food a be it a bit expensive and quite on the night, but really enjoyed the food.

Greeter was nice, waiter nice and accommodating. Tried to sit outside but just too loud with competing music from a private party and the house music. Food and service were both good but not more than what we expected from a hotel restaurant.

Food was delicious, our server and all the staff we encountered were kind and helpful, and the view was great! A nice day-before Valentine’s Day dinner with my husband. Loved the roses on the tables!

If you want the freshest seafood you have ever put in your mouth, this is the place. The lobster, the crab, the oysters, and fish are NEVER FROZEN. Casablanca has their own seafood beds.....nothing is "farm raised". Our service was knock it out of the park perfect. The owner came to our table and explained the philosophy of the restaurant. Btw, the view is spectacular. We went to their other restaurant as well.

Staff were amazing.Food was delicious and we recommend. The service from Ismael was great and very friendly, definitely we come back as soon as possible.

We (group of 3) came on Wednesday for happy hour (3-6pm). Although they have happy hour every weekday, on Wednesday they have free oysters!!! Classic drinks and most appetizers are half priced. Considering this is a pretty expensive seafood restaurant, the happy hour is a great deal. Service was slow, yes, but the food and the oysters made up for it. We each had a round of drinks (the old fashioned was the best; skip the mojito and margarita), shrimp tostones, fish croquettes and calamari. We were there from 430pm to 6pm, enough time to get in two plates of a dozen oysters!!! They come out slowly, so you want to maximize your time there. This is the best happy hours I have been to in a long time. You can sit inside, or outside on the patio with a view of the marina. Including tip our bill came out to ~$60, or $20/person.. really super duper!

Arrived in Miami after a day of travel. Wanted a nice place to eat, but not far from where we were staying! So glad we found this place! It is in the shopping area between the Marriott and Doubletree Hotel on Biscayne! Our waitress was great. Didn’t mind that we passed on alcoholic beverages. I had the snapper and my husband had the short ribs. We both loved the meal! Food was presented well and had great flavor! Menu has a good variety.

We had lunch today on the porch with a really nice view of the river. We had the grilled calamari to start which was excellent. The snapper & scallops were good and portions generous.

We were staying at the Marriott and next door so walked over...arriving at 7pm. Firstly we asked to sit outside and were told nothing available..even though there were empty tables. We asked the hostess who directed us to a table if there was still happy hour and she responded she didn't know as it was her first night. The there was a DJ blasting out party music....yes at 7pm and dancing by himself loving it...insane! Server was very new as well but the food was very good.....so a mixed experience....

Going to this restaurant was a big mistake. We were seated in an almost empty dining room and told our server that we were on a schedule and had to leave for a play. Drink orders were placed for one beer and two waters. That took some time to be fulfilled. A complimentary appetizer was brought to the table. It smelled very fishy and the chips were stale. While we waited a woman came to the table to take a complimentary photo. Of course we knew she would try to sell others to us and we declined. A very loud nightclub-type of music played. The salad and soup came after a long wait and when the entrees had not come after 45 minutes I got up and said we had 15 minutes before we had to leave. When the shrimp stuffed with crab and garlic mashed potatoes came, two at the table could not even eat it because it was so bad. We paid our bill and left. So happy to leave!

Absolutely sucked. We waited almost 2 hours for our food. Appetizers came out, and when we were given appetizer plates they were filthy and we had to send them back to get clean plates. When our food came out it was over-done. The lobster had the consistency of rubber and the tostones were incredibly soggy. I politely suggested that, given the experience, maybe they comp us bottle of wine or something - forget it. I will NEVER return here - be warned. One bright spot, Danny our server was fantastic. What a great young man and very service oriented. The manager, Oreiymis, on the other hand? Refused to actually come speak with us.

Located on the bay between the Doubletree Grand Biscayne and the Marriott, Casablanca on the bay has a fantastic view and outside seating. The decor is high end nautical but very comfortable, not stiff at all. Ask for seating on the patio for the open water view and the nice breezes which is why you are in Miami anyway! On the pricey side, the food is very good and filling. Their are fresh seafood options, steaks, salads on a varied menu. Expect a beverage to run about $15-20 and entrees from $25-50. The service was excellent and friendly. I'll be back!

Service was very slow, it took a very long time for us to receive our food and getting a refill on our drinks, well I am not even sure that happened. The view was great though.

What a great experience. Ventured out for a nice dinner on the bay with some work colleagues. Getting to the restaurant is a bit of hunt,, going through a mall to find the location. We decided to sit outside, a bit steamy, but beautiful breeze, sites of harbor and full moon view. Fish dip, octopus and calamari to start. Red Snapper fantastic as well. Negroni was made very well and would recommend and return.

In the Hilton Double Tree/Marriott complex. Food great, and excellent happy hour including free oysters. On Wednesdays, free oysters all day.

Worst restaurant experience ever. Staff are rude and unfriendly. No small talk or basic skills. Felt discriminated against for being English One member of staff (curly haired lady) kept talking to me in Spanish! I am English and in America not Spain! The bar man was rude whilst we were sat having a drink. Also the food was extremely bland and over priced. Our meal was almost $300 for a bottle of wine and 3 dishes! Service was abysmal. The nicest member of staff was Emily. I would never return here even if I was paid

Remember the old Jerry Seinfeld episode where he reserves a rental car, but they don't have a car for him? Apparently "reservations" mean as much at this restaurant. Booked a business dinner for 10 people weeks ago, only to have the restaurant call and cancel the reservation because they got the opportunity to host a private event. Now with less than a week to go I am scrambling to find a new reservation at a different restaurant. Seeing some of the recent reviews about how bad the service is, maybe I'm better off...

We had to wait a bit for our food, but we had a large group so it was expected. We never felt ignored. Our drinks and first courses were out on time and we were well attended to. Once our meal came, it was exceptional. We’ll worth the wait. My husband actually went back the next day and there were others in our group that made it there three times!! It’s very good!!

The restaurant staff is phenomenal, great customer service, however I was turned off by the lack of items on the menu. I requested 4 things listed on the menu and I was told each of the items weren’t in! My thoughts are maybe they should create a daily menu, with the limited options. This is our second visit, or should I say the second opportunity to experience the restaurant. The first time we were told the same thing, things that are listed on the menu were out.

My husband and I had dinner here Sunday, Aug 1st for our anniversary. Lovely restaurant and great food. We sat outside overlooking the Biscayne area with great views of the boats. Our server was lovely and explained the menu and wine selection in great detail. Thank you for a lovely anniversary evening. We will be back when visiting from NJ.

Located in the same building as the Doubletree and Marriott. Great seafood selection, staff was fantastic and the view of the bay very good. Definitely will eat here again.

This restaurant offers a wide selection of fresh seafood and our server Juan Carlos was very attentive and was able to provide very helpful information regarding our selections. Definitely worth going out of your way for if you are in Miami.

Amazing food and service, our server Ismael was very professional and attentive.I recommend this restaurant and definitely we come back as soon as possible
Poor service, overdone seafood. Happy hours with complimentary oysters???
Nice atmosphere once you pass the hostess who has no customer service skills. Beautiful view of the bay which does not make up for the lack of good service or food. This place could really be amazing if they would only offer better food and better service. A real shame. Will never go back.
