They got us up from the table with a request that they had no other unoccupied tables, something that was totally a lie, there were other empty tables, I had never experienced such bad customer service and lack of respect in the entire American nation, very negative about that restaurant and its management. Very unprofessional and no customer service. Restaurants like this should not be visited. Finally they ruined my night.

First of all, the service was outstanding. Friendly, helpful, charming. Next, the food was delicious. Lastly, the view from the outside deck( of Miami Beach and the water) was terrific. I can't wait to go back again. Eat anything on the menu and enjoy. They had no problem with my food and dietary needs (gluten free, etc).

It is a balance of restaurant and fish market, the fish ,clams and so are trully fresh, just by the river, the food is good in a market ambiance

Casablanca Restaurants deliver the freshest seafood in Miami. We liked the one on the Bay so much that we decided to visit the one on the River. Some in our party had raw oysters on the half shell and wine. Several of us had yummy fresh squeezed lemonade. My husband had a huge ice cream sundae. We love these eateries! All the seafood is fresh, NEVER FROZEN!

Absolutely horrible experience all the way around. Our table wasn't acknowledged for about 15 minutes upon being seated. The view was nice until a massive yacht docked directly in front of our table! It blocked the view and stopped the air flow too. My wife ordered a mojito. I tasted it and honestly thought it was a virgin mojito...no alcohol. The waiter offered to put more alcohol in if she was willing to pay! I ordered the seafood parradilla. Nice looking presentation, but the taste was beyond horrible. Like biting into a charcoal briquette. ALL the seafood was oily and not edible. I ate some of the shell fish and tried eating the burnt squid, but it was wayyy too burnt. We complained, but it fell on deaf ears. I will NEVER go back and highly recommend that you save your money and go somewhere else. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

Have been to Casablanca many times for 20 years and was always happy. We used as usual the valet parking and were told only VIP parking for USD 20 was available instead of the regular USD 5 is was used to pay. The only could accept the car if we were going to pay the USD 20. We complaint with the host when we checked in and were told that this is not her problem. The restaurant had nothing to do with the valet parking. What an unprofessional response and treatment. Felt like screwed right at thw check in to the reataurant. No further comments!!!!!

Went to Casablanca for a afternoon snack/lunch after getting off our cruise ship. Would have loved to have tried more food but was still stuffed from a late breakfast. Would definitely go again.

This restaurant is is a great location in a small Mall between the Marriott and the Doubletree. It’s on the bay and has a nice view. Other hotels, like the Hilton, are within walking distance. So, the potential is rich. But the food and service were not. Almost flavorless. And no condiments on the table to spice it up. Plus, small portions for real portion prices. Unfortunately there are not a lot of quality do I h options nearby, so this place gets a lot of traffic. Not worth the price.

Our first time ever... friendly staff and good food, by the river. I had the snapper which was pretty good, decent selection of wines. I would definitely go again.

Is a very good place, is beautiful and very relaxed atmosphere, the cons are it take a while to get attention, even when the restaurant was almost empty, the food is very good but I think the prices are expensive, if you will pay with credit card and wants to include the tip, you will have only 3 options 15%, 20%, 25%, and that sounds a little bit high for me, I order a spaghetti and they forgot to give me a fork, and can recommend the place but is not my favorite.

We just came from Pappadeaux in the DFW airport for lunch. This was in same realm and price. Pappadeaux was a lot better. This place was ok but didn’t think anything was just must eat again. The octopus was very very good and might be the only thing we would stop in for again as an appetizer.

This is a restaurant that you need to go to and expierence. There is not a bad view of the Miami River, and watch the boat traffic. Our waiter was excellent, and very helpful. Our drinks, appetizer and dinner was excellent, We will go back again

Had a grouper chowder. After 30 mom waiting It is served cool. It was more like a very watery vegetable soup with some skin and yeah some meet. Then the grouper fish sandwich was also served cool. The fries were big and not well cooked.

Many people say the humid, stormy weather makes late July and early August the wrong times to visit Miami, but the yearly restaurant promotion ($23 for a 3-course lunch and $39 for a 3-course dinner, plus tax and tip) made it the right time for lunch at Casablanca Seafood Bar & Grill. The promotion, called Miami Spice, runs through Sept. 30 at more than 215 restaurants in Miami. We got a shaded outside table next to the Miami River, and even watched a family arrive by boat and come in for lunch. My appetizer was the Fish Ceviche with purple onions, cilantro, rocoto peppers, glazed yam and toasted corn, and my entree was Braised Mahi Mahi Escabeche served with roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Filling and delicious. I'm not a dessert person, so I barely touched the Crepes with Ice Cream served as the third course, but I still had a great lunch for not much money. I should have gotten the Flan. My nephew had Shrimp Tostone or crispy tostone stuffed with a shrimp-crab mixture and served with broiled fontina cheese for his first course followed by the Mahi Mahi Escabeche and Key Lime Pie. Service was great, too.

The terrace part overlooks a river and the view is very attractive. The food is served quickly and the waiters are very dynamic. The only thing is that for us Argentines the kitchen closes early. Keep it in mind. And there are no tails like ours, but it happens in almost everything. 😉

This is a review of the seafood market and not the restaurant. Today (Sunday) at 3 pm, the market was a disorganized mess, "crazy" as the woman behind the cash counter described it, I couldn't agree more. I have been a customer here for over 10 years and they lost me for good, today. At least 7 other customers walked out when the ladies who assist the customers in their fish selection basically gave up and refused to work. Granted it is probably their busiest time pf the day, I usually go in before closing, but there were 2 people to assist, perhaps, 30 persons waiting for service. Further their selection has gone downhill, I haven't been able to get pompano, nor hog snapper here for years.,,, (but the stone crabs looked good, too bad I couldn't buy any) Now, I'll pay more at Whole Foods, bye, bye, Casablanca!

Second time visiting this restaurant. First time was the best experience ever - amazing service, good food. That is why I decided to have a Happy Birthday dinner in this restaurant - big mistake. Not the best food quality for its price! Maybe it is because of different chefs, I do not know. Anyway lobster was overcooked and I do advice not to order oysters there, they are just too horrible and have no taste of normal oysters at all - disgusting. Talking about bad service, server hardly payed attention to us. In the very beginning spent around 20 minutes to open the bottle of champagne and after that refilled our glasses with champagne only once for the whole evening. I asked to bring a dessert with candle in it, but after I said that they do not need to sing a "happy birthday song" the server decided that the candle do not need to be lightened as well - it was hilarious in a sad way. Those several confusing things about service - only part of a bunch of other details that did not make our dinner any better. Because of terrible experience we did not want to live any tips at all. Though after second thought 10% of the whole amount were left and guess what happened next. Our server came to us telling that: "the tips are not included and you need to leave the amount that is mentioned on the check (we all know that in the end of the check there are suggested tips amount starting with 18% and higher)". I could not even imagine that any server could say anything like that!!! To tell a costumer what amount of tips they need to leave???!!! Maybe I could understand it if it was an amazing service, but still. Confusing, sad and disappointing! After this do not think I would like to visit this restaurant ever again even after good first experience. Will not advice you to come here.

What a marvellous spot on the river and a hot day watching the boats go by. The coconut shrimp, conch fitters and calamares were all excellent and generous portions. Immaculate and very fresh fish. Girls on reception, if not waiting staff, are a little bit surly but, hey, that that regrettably is Miami service.

Very good food we went by boat from Key Biscayne. We had some problem with our service dog but after that was OK. Not always easy to have your boat there but we managed People are very friendly

My bad for I choose this place to invite my better half to for a memorable evening on a dinner to before traveling for an overseas business trip. The person serving us the food and drinks had no courtesy to say “excuse me” or “if I may” remove the extra setup as we were two seated on people on a 4 person table. He barged and removed whatever seemed right to him. I have 17 years of hotels experience so cut him a slack for nobody can be on their best every single time but little did I know it was just a beginning to a horrifying $170 nightmare. We ordered drinks and this server decided to stop whenever he felt necessary with zero contact (as if we were’nt even there) at the table and literally would pick up our glasses and wiggle them to check if there was any more drink left for him to remove them. I kept quiet and decided to let this sink until we had some fish left and decided to take home, when asked for a container he took the liberty to give his opinion and say out loud “you really want this little food home?”. I was notified. At this point I was totally disappointed for he had ruined the night decided to escalate this to the manager so he trains his staff better or at least take notice. The manger “Andy” comes to the table and kept nodding when I realized he may perhaps not speak or understand English so I asked my better half to step in and explain him the nightmare we just went through. He nods again apologizes and asks what can I do for you now? As if what’s done is done! What do you want now. I told him I could have just walked out with a bad memory and lost business and this is no way to treat any customer. He leaves and never returned to offer an apology or anything (meanwhile the server is doing his routine bash) 5 minutes later our waiter comes with a cheque, me with my expectation, ask him if he had a chance to speak to the manager? He leaves and comes back with $16.06 discount. I told him politely that I was not interested in a 16.06$ discount with no apology for the ruined night or responsibility at least from a manager. And would gladly pay my full cheque. Which I did. This place has the best fish perhaps in Miami, but than you can find that at a market and do it yourself. If you are planning to go for a memorable night, or with people you want to feel taken care of with a wonderful experience, this is not the place for you. I am attaching all the Cheques with this review and writing this review expecting someone in their management takes notices and does something to not just make better seafood but understand people spend time, effort, and money to come down to the restaurants to share and enjoy special moments with their loved ones and reckless and incompetent management with the best food can ruin someone’s life’s special moment.

Very good location right on the river looking at the boats pass by and dock to eat at the restaurant. The food was good, very pricey, it was only 2 of us and we payed $84 but the overall experience was great.

4 of us ate dinner at a table on the water with a lovely view of Miami and boats floating by. The valet at our condo rental recommended it and he was right. It was Wednesday and so we started with 6 raw oysters for $5.00...large and tasty. Two of us had the seafood linguine where the only problem occurred when they had to be heated. They were excellent after that with additional sauce. The mixed fish dish was excellent as was the coconut shrimp and caesar salad. We shared a large brownie with ice cream for dessert. We were all very happy we selected this place and would recommend to others.

Finally we found a great seafood restaurant. Located on the Miami River, it’s got wonderful ambiance, great drinks, delicious entree choices, and service. Come watch the water traffic!

Our group of 3 wanted seafood by the water. We had grilled calamari appetizer and oysters which were huge! Fresh branzino, shrimp scampi and salmon were our main courses and no one was disappointed. I am gluten free (Celiac) and had no issues. Recommend highly.

Recommended by a friend, we went to eat fish. Everything was delicious. From the cod-based starters, the baked mahi mahi with potatoes and the dessert, the key lime pie. The fish was fresh. We ordered different cocktails and everything was delicious. We had a lichee martini, pisco sour and a gin martini. We were served by a very friendly lady who was able to advise us. If you are looking for an authentic restaurant with good fish, this is definitely the place to go.

My family and I took out boat out and crushed up the Miami river to Casablanca. We pulled right up to the dock and were greeted by the hostess as soon as we walked up to the outside patio. We sat outside as it was beautiful out and were waited on hand and foot. The food was fantastic. Fresh seafood all around. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area and want seafood.

Worse experience on a Sunday reservation! We had a reservation for a birthday lunch and they didn’t come thru . Upon arrival 5 minutes early we were told they couldn’t meet the reservation time and to wait 30 minutes. We waited 40 minutes and then, they asked us to wait another 20 minutes !! Needless to say , we left !! The ambience was loud , disorganized , the employees were arguing in front of us while we waited outside . I strongly advise to stay away from this place !!

Went here today and it was horrible. First off the tables outside have no type of airflow or should I say good fans, they’re old and it’s SUPER hot and not enjoyable. We left sweating this was at 2pm. With the money they make they can afford better fans for their customers. The waitress only came to get our order, fro the food and give the check. We had to ask for refills constantly. There’s three little tables inside next to the kitchen. This place needs a renovation and I don’t recommend

I visited Casablanca,s last night with some old friends it was a lovely evening in a wonderful setting. We started with shrimp Tostones and followed with dishes from Shrimp scampi to Chilean Sea bass. our Server was great and food was served quickly. There. was a great choice of Desserts. We had a surprise Fireworks show as a bride and groom went by on their Yatcht!

The two of us had a delicious dinner here the night before a cruise. We were staying in the Doubletree adjacent to this waterfront restaurant so it was very convenient. We were given the choice of inside or outside and chose outside to take in the weather and views of Biscayne Bay and the nearby marinas. The overall atmosphere was perfect. Service was prompt and friendly, and any menu questions answered in detail. Cocktails were great, and all the food was presented hot and timely. You really need to try the smoked fish dip with plantains. The spiny lobster and the lobster pasta were delicious entrees and portions were more than expected for the prices.

My wife and I ate here on February 7, 2018. We enjoyed sitting outside with a view of the water. I ordered stuffed shrimp and was informed that they had run out of shrimp. Seemed kind of improbably but. We ordered one of the more inexpensive bottles of wine but it was marked up 400%. The service was good but I can't give the food more than a "c" grade. I wanted a martini after dinner so we paid our check and moved to the bar. I ordered a Sapphire martini. The did not have any Sapphire gin. I ordered a Manhattan instead. My wife ordered a cup of coffee with cream. The coffee was delivered but no cream and the bartender took off. She asked again and he vanished. We asked another bartender who said they didn't have any cream and brought milk. I watched the chef cut avocado for a salad and then he popped some in his mouth. I told my wife and a few minutes later he was slicing another avocado. I told her to turn around and we both watched him pop a big slice in his mouth.

I'd give this occasion restaurant five stars for the stunning view of Biscayne Bay and the cordial but not intrusive service. While plump and tasty, my raw oysters had been trucked in and were so over-iced that it was difficult to pry them from their shells. However, the scallops, from Massachusetts Bay, were near perfect -- large, deftly cooked, and bathed in a subtle sauce that let their natural flavor shine through. My advice: reserve ahead and ask for a table by the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the bay.

The location is fantastic - highly recommend you sit outside on the patio so you can watch the boats come by on the river. We ate here on a Saturday night and so many boats cruised by that allows for endless boat and people watching. The food was very good. I would say about 4.5 out of 5.0. The crab cakes were good, but not excellent. The civicci was excellent as was the shrimp brochette - the appetizers were excellent. The service was really good too. We’ll probably come back!

Two weeks ago I bought two bags of clams in the fish market together with many other items. The clams were bad and most did not open while cooking. I told the staff which told me I should bring the receipt. Today I went with the receipt and the manager Sandro told me that it was too late and that I should bring the bad cooked clams. Terrible service!!!!

We sat outside just steps from river. I am allergic to shellfish, part of the reason outside works for me. The fish dip that came with bread was the best, we asked for more and got it. I had fish and my wife a shrimp salad. Both dinners were excellent! We will go back again!

So after a long days of work we came to this restaurant everything was amazing and wonderful Larry was our server and he did excellent. I would highly recommend this place

At best the food is average . . . and at best the service is mediocre . . . but sitting out on the deck overlooking the confusion on the Miami River makes it worth a trip which is even better if arriving by boat.

Food wasn’t great… it was ok, but service was awful. Prices are high. We left disappointed. Definitely don’t recommend.

We ate here with two friends from Miami on a recent Sunday evening. The inside area of the place was fairly empty at 7 pm when we had reservations. The large outdoor patio dining area, that is on the Miami River, however, was packed with an assortment of people ranging from families with small children, to couples and singles at the bar. But, the noise level was not bad. The service, however, was very slow, both for getting drinks, and our food. Being Miami, there was a bit of an issue with our trying to communicate with our server. We ordered some calamari and a scallops escargot as appetizers, and paella for the table as the entree. Both were good, but nothing special. It looked to me that most of the locals were ordering the whole, deep fried fish. It looked great. Being on the river, there is a steady stream of yachts and boats going up and down the waterway. Also, there are 2 hot places next to Casablanca (SeaSpice and Kiki's) that draw a "beautiful people" crowd for dancing and dining. Both places were hopping on a Sunday night. The pricing was reasonable. The check, with tip, for each couple was $117.00. That included a bottle of wine and 3 cocktails, total. Regarding tipping, we had our server split the check. We each got a merchant copy to fill out. The copy had suggested tipping amounts, a feature that I like being poor at math. I was about to put down the tip amount when my friend pointed out that the tip amount suggestions on both our copies were based on the entire amount of the bill, not just our individual charges. I am sure it is was not intentional, but something to check out when you are splitting a bill. We would go back again, but try the deep fried whole fish as our entree.

Omg we were blown away the service was amazing the food was amazing. This was by far the best service/food/drinks my boyfriend and I had the entire 5 days we have been in Miami/Miami Beach. This place is an absolute must go.

We went to dinner the lobster to the thermidor, the price didn't appear on the menu, I asked the waitress the price and she told me it was worth $64 and then when she came the bill came out $82, plus they impose 20% mandatory tip, they charge $25 parking. Sounds like a scam all to me. And these tourist-swindling restaurants should be more controlled.

Went there after Garcia’s next door was closed and was very happy. The view outside is great overlooking water. The seafood all looked and tasted fresh and the pasta dishes were great. Ceviche, conch fritters and lobster bisque were great to start with!

A no frills long running popular seafood restaurant in a great location ( you can pull up alongside it and moor the boat). With a great selection of fish most caught that day you really can’t go wrong. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable as well. All in all well worth a visit.

Many of us remember back in the 80s when Casablanca was just a small fish shack by the intracoastal, right across the port of Miami. carry out fresh off the dock fish, or they would cook upon request. Time has raced by, the shack is gone and they've grown into a full scale restaurant. Still Ok, with good seafood. Our favorite is the seafood paella, definitely a winner. Service and prices are moderate, although not cheap. Returning all the time.

Restaurant with a very pleasant location. On the edge of a canal in Miami, with no tourists, mostly local people, the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Seafood specialty. Excellent cod fritter and a plate of grilled seafood with onions, peppers and exceptional punched potatoes. It's worth adding lobster as an option. The Paella looks great. Correct prices, without the increase in the more touristy regions and a very satisfactory view. Unmissable!

We were so looking forward to our visit to Casablanca after the good experience we had there on our last visit a few years ago. How things have changed! Yes it looks the same but obviously something has gone wrong in the kitchen. It would seem that this restaurant does not provide bread .A collection of crisp like things were placed in front of us but we asked could we have bread. This seemed to cause a certain amount of consternation and eventually three rolls for four people were delivered. We had mentioned to the waitress that a member of our party had a garlic allergy so were surprised that the bread had been heated on a grill that obviously had had garlic on. This was returned and eventually five slices of French roll appeared. Why such a downer on bread? A tropical salad that consists of lettuce, avocado and onion is not what I would refer to as tropical. The menu states that the onion is Bermudan but anybody who knows their onions is aware that Bermuda onions are white and sweet not red and tangy as we were given. The salmon for two of our guests was reasonable but the most disappointing part was the tuna. As any tuna aficionado knows this fish must be eaten rare and even the waitress pointed out that it was cooked rare. Unfortunately this was not known by the chef so when the tuna arrived it was the driest piece of tuna you could imagine and extremely thin. So much so it was inedible. . (I think a staff outing to Flying Fish on Disney’s Boardwalk in Orlando would show how tuna should be served)After making comments it was removed from the bill but I’m sorry to say that Casablanca is definitely living on past glories and has been struck off our “return to list” for ever.

Had 2 IPAs on tap-good, cold beer. The mixed seafood ceviche was good and fresh, but had too much fish. More calamari and shrimp would have been a better balance.

After waiting for 1:10 min , what usually don't min when is about Casablanca Restaurant , we get finally seated , we were serve always by the busboy , drinks and food !!!by the way a tiny glass of White Sangria 15 $ !!! Always come here to get a whole fried fish ( ask for the 2 pounds yellow tail ) after 1 more hour wait finally fish come !!! VERY WELL DONE !!! Totally dry !!! My husband grouper filet very well done as well !!!! Absolutely an expensive disaster !! Finally we ask for expresso .... after another long wait : here it comes a cold expresso !!!! Well .... not my favorite restaurant at all from now on 🙄

After eating next door we decided to try Casablanca and am glad that we did. The food was great and the service was also.

Excellent place, the food is awesome. We loved it. The pasta was incredible and the mariscos too. The view is beautiful.

i went with a local friend who told me this was suppoused to be one of the best seafood restaurants in town. Not true. I had a seared tuna completely flavorless, he had parrillada and yes it feeled fresh but again flavorless. We where 5 and paid 160 bucks. I dont mind pating expensive food BUT it has to be worth it. Not in this case.

Before and after every cruise in the last 3 years, we come here for lunch and/or brunch. Recommended by a friend who used to live in Miami and we loved it so much the first time, we just keep coming back. Fish is so fresh. Love watching the boat valet parking boats, the manatees in the river, the atmosphere on the patio. Just makes for an overall wonderful dining experience.

We had a wonderful dinner and great view of the Miami River. The kids enjoyed watching the big boats come by. We can’t wait to go again!

The location in front of the Miami river makes a great option at the moment to select a Restaurant in Miami. Food and beverages are so tasty. i don’t hesitate to recommend you this place for any special moment with family or friends. You won’t be dissapointed. Ubicado en rio de miami, gran ambiente, comida y bebidas deliciosas. Buen servicio. No se arrepentiran

Great location and even better food. I enjoyed grilled yellowfin tuna and scallops. The conch fritters were hot and tasty. Reasonable pricing for the location and quality of the food. The wait staff were polite and attentive always asking if we needed something or if we were enjoying our dinner.

casablanca has always been one of my favorites restaurants, but this last time i was a little disappointed. If it had not been for the waiter, who actually saved the night even thought he was very busy, i would even say that i wouldn't be back. As we arrived we asked for our drinks ( our favorite house mojitos) a guy served us water. Then we ordered appetizers and food. After about 20 mnts our appetizer arrived, the water ran out and they served us again and mojitos still not showing up. The waiter apologized and checked what was going on but we realized he got a very bad attitude from the bartender who was talking very loud but since we were a bit far from them we could not clearly hear what he told him but by his manual expressions you could tell it wasn't something nice. 20-30 mnts later our main dishes came and when we were half them then the mojito finally arrived (not to mention they were the worst i ever had in casablanca). near us there were other costumers also complaining about the bar delay, but they had been waiting about 30 mnts for a single beer. i don't know if casablanca has a bad bar serving system or if they have the slowest and rudest bar tender, but i do know that casablanca is loosing quality and potential customers for this long wait on their expensive drinks. we wanted to have a nice time and we were ready to enjoy several rounds of mojitos but after waiting so long we decided not to. hopefully management take action on the matter and either better train their bartender or hire a second one to help the one they have.

Visited CasaBlanca on the River on a friend’s recommendation which is apparently also known as CasaBlanca Seafood Bar and Grill. Enjoyed a Happy Hour 2 for 1 Sangria and several happy hour small plates with my wife instead of ordering a full dinner. We sat outside along the river and enjoyed watching the boat traffic and the boats that pulled up to order food at the dock. The service was excellent, the small plates tasty and filling and overall would consider going back again. However, be aware that the bill has an 18% service charge included and shows how much adding a 20% tip would be but computes it on top of the service fee. Also, the valet charge when I left was an unexpected $25 (and this was on a Tuesday night).

The seafood in this place is very good. We began our culinary journey with a dozen fresh oysters on the half shell. For the entree. My wife and I had broiled scallops and our guest had broiled red snapper. They were cooked to perfection. The icing on the cake was the boat/people show on the river. We sat riverside and witnessed one of the best arrays of luxury yachts that I have ever seen. (See photo) Definitely on our “eat here” list in Miami.

Food was good but not amazing, service was great, atmosphere and view so-so. Great piña colada. Maybe would come back.

Very good restaurant, but super slow, we spent 2 hours here. For lunch! The fish super fresh, delicious sides, salads, desserts and coffee.we sat outside and it is q very nice view. We enjoyed this place very much but needs to move fast, too slow😱

Excellent restaurant amazing location and wonderful customer service. We went we family and enjoyed everything. Food wine and service. We ordered paella and trio of ceviche was very good. And the server always smiling. Very nice Sunday

We went to Casablanca in February on Valentine’s Day - they were amazingly accommodating considering we booked late and, the food was superb. We were back in Miami recently and decided we would give it a go again. It was a hot Miami day but it was lovely sitting by the water watching the boats and enjoying wine and good company. The staff make sure you are well taken care of and the food is wonderful. I had th snapper and my husband had the scallops and both were lovely. The key lime pie for dessert is also a must! Looking forward to our next trip to Miami so we have an excuse to go here again.

The food was really good. I ordered the paella for 1 and it was plenty of food even had some leftovers! Definitely a place to eat when staying in Miami.

First time here and I love it, the atmosphere, the food so nice, good service and the location perfect, the best restaurant in the river if you love seafood, to be honest, it is expensive Bar & Grill but worthy once in a while. If I visit Miami I wouldn't mine to have a lunch there again.

Nothing special. Menu is primarily seafood. Food was OK. Service marginal. Not sure I would go back..Extensive outdoor eating area on the Miami River. A little pricey. Has valet parking.

We came here for dinner. They advertise $10 valet parking. Pulled into the parking lot which had two empty spaces. We were told the valet spots were full and the remaining regular spots were $20 each. I don’t like being scammed so we went next-door to Garcia’s which was excellent and I would highly recommend.

This restaurant is obviously one of the finest place to eat in the region. Always when I visit this place I am greatly pleased. They always keep their very high standard service and the highest level of cooking they offer. Highly recommended.

Go to Casablanca for fresh fish and a nice river view...try to face east...the westerly view is a bit decrepit. We even saw a manatee moseying along! It looks like the place does their own fishing...they have a video of folks in Casablanca shirts hauling in fresh fish and prepping them. I had a grouper sandwich with very creamy slaw and very nice fries, my wife had lobster bisque (superb) and cod fritters, in an appetizer portion. Nice garlic sauce with the seafood. Prices are high--we had some of the least expensive on the menu, and service is no better than average. Wines are way overpriced, but that's unfortunately the rule in Miami.

My girlfriend in Jersey recommended Casablanca and I tell my husband and I love it! The seafood was excellent...and very fresh! If you like fish soup, try the Grouper fish soup! It was delicious...The service was great too👍🏽 It’s a very nicely located on the river. You can see all the beautiful boats driving by while sitting outside on the patio! Ask to be seated outside on the patio! You will love the scenery!!!

This place is over priced for the quality of food, but the worst thing is that a huge roach came from behind a picture and fell on my shirt. Management did nothing! No apology. Nothing. One employee stood on it so other customers wouldn’t see.

Went to dinner on Friday night (4 of us). Had a great table outside on the river. Was beautiful to watch boats / yachts go by. The food was good, however they did not have many choices for 'non-seafood people'. Basically only a few beef dishes. Would have been nice to have a chicken option. However, the skirt steak was very good. Overall dinner was a little pricey. Waitress was just OK. She was friendly but not overly attentive.

Absolutely clueless hostess and totally useless and obnoxiously rude manager Absolutely clueless hostess and totally useless and obnoxiously rude manager working Saturday night 8/9. They wouldn’t sit me down at any of the empty tables at 9 40 pm saying they’re waiting for some other people to arrive - after having told me they’ve technically closed at 9 30 pm (google maps closing time says 11 pm). When I asked if anybody is leaving soon, They wouldn’t even look at all the tables finishing up because they didn’t give a damn and didn’t know how to do their job properly. Even though i could see clearly a couple of tables were on desert and about to leave. After all the confusing talk in their broken English, They forced me to get the takeout and lo and behold - during the 15 min I was waiting for my food a couple more tables left and opened up!! Nobody has come over to me and offered me to sit down!! I ordered 3 things with the takeout but would have ordered way more and drinks and maybe dessert too if I had the comfort of the table. The cherry on the cake was when I approached the useless arrogant Latino manager again and asked him if he can give me that table that just opened up because now for sure they’re not expecting anyone else for it and I chose his restaurant for the food and the view/outdoor terrace. He said (drum roll!!!) he can’t sit me at the table because (!!!) I already have the takeout and it’s not a good image for the restaurant for me to sit down with the takeout at the table!!! So apparently, being a loyal customer for many years and paying customer who’s just bought 3 things per person doesn’t qualify me to sit down at this wildly respectful establishment at their closing hour. I can not believe the stupidity or the lack of manners or professionalism on this manager. Not only didn’t he apologize for having totally messed up with the table that promptly opened up right before his nose (way to communicate with your servers and boost sales, and again - get a new smart hostess!!), but he also gave me this terrible attitude and ridiculous excuse I’ve never heard in my entire life in Miami. Zero gratitude for me being a customer, zero effort to accommodate me, make more sales and a great experience for everyone. Absolute waste. This manager and hostess do NOT belong in a restaurant that’s supposed to be fine dining with three dollar signs.

I went with 3 friends to dinner. One friend picked out some seafood from the market attached to the restaurant. He was told there was a charge for preparation but we were shocked when we got the bill. Everything from the market was marked up 350%! Yes, three and a half times!! For example if a prawn costs $10 each in the market we were charged $35 each! The bill for a light dinner was over $800++!!!! Way more than Milos, Joe’s Stone Crab, Prime Fish, The Surf Club!! Anywhere!!! A colossal rip off. At least at the other places I would get a clean table, glasses without lipstick and competent service. It is disgusting that that take advantage of people like this. Charging Michelin Star restaurant prices for a dirty cafe. Be sure NOT to order and fish from the market, just order off the menu and make sure you know the price in advance. Shameful, greedy, inexcusable.

Very good service and fantastic seafood options. The grilled octopus as a starter is highly recommended and the mains menu has a variety so so attractive. The desserts and the cóctels are really good. A little bit expensive but honestly I do not regret to spent more to receive better food and service.

The worst dining experience I’ve had in a while. I don’t know how this restaurant is still in business. The restaurant is old, outdated, hot, some of the fans didn’t work. We initially sat outside on the patio which had the only decent thing which was a nice view of the river and boats passing by. I asked the server for paper napkins and she was stingy with them as though it was coming out of her paycheck. She only provided 3 beverage napkins. It was happy hour and they had a bogo for drinks but you were required to order both drinks at the same time like a college bar! Really? The sun was too hot outside and we asked to go inside to what I can only describe as a sauna. We were sweating profusely! The cod fritters we ordered were mediocre at best and the mahi fish fingers were pink for some strange reason. The grouper filet was sad & pathetic in presentation. It looked soggy, undercooked and as if it was microwaved and the taste confirmed that. The accompanying mashed potatoes were like a school cafeteria quality. The lobster bisque was a watery, tasteless mess that had too much cream and no lobster pieces whatsoever. The surf & turf plate consisted of 3 small shrimps on a skewer, horrible looking mini potatoes, 2 asparagus, 3 fast food quality onion rings of all things!! The churrasco steak was the only half decent part. The level of service was as low and equal to every sad aspect of this restaurant experience. To add to our suffering, the exorbitant prices were just salt in our wound! Do not waste your time, energy and hard earned money at this restaurant!! You’ll thank me!!

No Bueno, the coconut shrimp were fried to a crisp, had the stuffed shrimp, very small shrimp with a mushroom slice with a teaspoon full of crabmeat and a tad of hollandaise sauce on top. Wife had the sea bass and the smell was so atrocious we sat it on the table down wind. But the service was great

Great location dining on the beautiful Miami River , if you arrive at Sunset you’ll enjoy a great view. Food is a bit pricey for its quality, food is decent and somewhat good but not extraordinary as I was expecting due to its popularity. I had the “Sopon Marinero”, it was watery and lots of spices flavor which tries to make up and hide the lack of seafood, one small lobster tail and lots of calamari rings and a couple of shrimps, for its $40 value I didn’t think it was worth the price. Service was excellent, our waitress was very nice and courteous. Expect to pay high price for its location, view, and service , but not for the food.

Love this place....enjoy the atmosphere and the food every single time. bring an appetite as it pays to eat a lot here.

Went last night, wont be back. Oysters were obviously prep'd ahead, warm and dry. Had the Mahi, again warm and dry...Overall a failed attempt at finer dining. Garcia's wins it hands down.

We stopped by today to get fresh seafood and what a selection! It was very busy in a busy location but worth the trip!

If I could give it zero stars I would. I ordered the surf and turf. Not only did it take a long time for our food to come out when it did everything on my plate was cold. At the end when my bill was presented no discount was given and they charged me for things that were cold but never brought back (two sides). When I asked them to remove the items I didn’t eat they acted annoyed and then I also asked for a discount since I was the last one in my party to eat and because my food was brought out cold. No one ever apologized or attempted to rectify the situation so my bill was way to expensive for an awful experience. I would not recommend this restaurant.

So we heard about this place from an Uber driver after he picked us up in the Port of Miami after we got off a two week cruise of the Caribbean. We had two nights in Miami before heading home to Victoria BC Canada and decided to try this place for our last night in town. We arrived and the location was very cool on the River with great views of all the yachts going by. We ordered the Calamari and it was great but our waitress was always never around so we had to keep asking a staff member if they could get her for another drink order as we did not want order right away and have a couple drinks before we did order. So we ordered lobster and shrimp in a mushroom sauce and the seafood linguine in a scampi sauce instead of the tomato sauce and both came to the table floating in sauce!!! Pasta over done and drowning in sauce . Over all they took it off the bill but ruined the experience so would not go back as we drove there in an Uber there were lots of other great looking seafood restaurants on the river.

Our waitress was awesome, always trying to offer the best, we ask for the manager because we have a complain about the ingredients of the Sopon Marinero’ always excellent always delicious , but this time has PASTA as a part of the dish, we kindly ask the waitress if she can check with the manager the reason ? He NEVER came to our table, we didn’t ask for the dish to be removed from our check, just need to talk to the manager about it, he pass by our table and doesn’t bother to ask us about the issue, clearly didn’t care about the customers. I find him outside next to the valet and ask him why he didn’t care about us, very rude answer , worst attitude, he has no idea about customer service, could be a great idea to give him the right training to be at the level of this amazing restaurant.

I made a reservation at Open Table and we arrived at the restaurant on time; at the reception I was told that I had to wait more than an hour to get the requested table (outside, river view); they were clearly overbooked so I left. I have been a customer of the place for years, and I expected at least an apology; instead nothing. I don't think I'll ever go back again.

I made a deposit of 80 usd that said they added it to the account and then said they refund it and I still don't get it.

The Grouper Sandwich reminded me of the “ Filet Of Fish” at McDonald’s! The bun was stale. Service was poor. Restaurant didn’t appear too clean. We live in Ft.Lauderdale. It was a long way to go for “ fresh seafood”. Not worth the drive!

You are missing out if you don’t check this place out!! Amazing!! Delicious and light! Don’t miss out

I want to say the service and the food was not great this time. But most of all there were to many insects by my seating area. This place need more work to get up to the code.

We had reservations and were so excited to dine with you. As soon as we walked in the smell of outhouse freshener over takes you. We ordered a drink and octopus. My drink(strawberry margarita )was filled with fake fruit syrup. I was hoping to get real strawberries or strawberry purée. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and has clearly been for what seems like a year or more. Mold and dust caked and even had a picture frame of mold, dust and nasty miscellaneous items. There’s no way employees, managers etc have not seen this! Scares me what behind the scenes look like if this is what your customers can see. This is clearly a tourist trap where people only care about being on the water because how anyone can eat at a place that looks & smells like this disgusting. Luckily I saw the bathroom before ordering dinner! Paid and left as fast as we could! I have a video showing wall to wall caked in mold and dust but can’t upload here. Picture should say enough I think. Definitely a tourist trap because of “water location “

This place is not what I expected. The crust on the fish and shrimp was too thick and oily. They server was nice but then I asked for change. When I did, she got me big notes so I refused to tip her. The valet is compulsory, which means I will never go back again.

Above says it all plus a waste of money at any cost. I hate to write bad reviews, but this is deserved. My grouper soup was tasteless. I had linguine which was, as requested, not over cooked, but again tasteless. My friends had calamari and paella. They did not like either. None of us thought the place was worth a return visit. The place is busy and obviously very popular.

We have done both- bought fresh fish at the market, as well as eaten at the restaurant. I prefer the first. The restaurant is o.k, we had crab and a fish dish, all well prepared and the seating outside is nice, but the fresh fish cooked at home simply tasted way better than the restaurant version.

The best restaurant in the river If you like fish , this is the place Very good food and service The view is beautiful The price is ok Week ends you need reservation

Excellent location , next to a canal. Try to get a table on the terrace. The food is well prepared. The tuna and the scallops were very good. Service was efficient. Overall a very good choice.

The place is not fancy, but it has the best thermidor lobster tales, and guava cheesecake. I recomend to ask for a water front table.

I would never have thought to go to this restaurant as it was so 'out of the way' but what a great surprise for us. It had a great family vibe and lots of locals were eating there celebrating birthdays etc. It was fascinating to be able to watch all the huge yachts while eating. It was truly the best calamar, it was so tender it melted in your mouth! Everything looked lovely, including the desserts that we never got to try as we ate too much for our meal and starter! We will definitely go back next time we are in Miami.

I was expecting a better experienced based on other reviews. We went for dinner on a Saturday evening after I called to make a reservation. When we arrived they had no reservation under my name and the hostess was not very friendly or concerned with this oversight. She seated us and left. The dining room was incredibly noisy and not very clean. Our waitress was nice enough but seemed distracted. Our food arrived very quickly-too quickly to be made to order. My scallops were not hot and vegetables were cold and not freshly cooked. Overall,I was disappointed and can not recommend going back. There are too many other seafood restaurants in Miami to choose from.

I ordered the whole fried fish. (Not cheap over $50.00) After waiting almost 45 minutes the meal came out overcooked and dry. Having to convince our waiter she reluctantly offered me something else. I thought I'd play it safe and order a grouper fish sandwich. WRONG After waiting another 40 minutes sandwich came out I couldn't even eat it. Very disappointed, very sad because the atmosphere is nice. I wanted it to be special because I was with my 96 years old father who doesn't get out much. Waste of time and money... Next time I'm going next door Garcia's That would be playing it safe...

Absolutely the worst (Racist) restaurant experience I have had in a long time. If I could give this place no stars at all I would. I was the only person at the bar during lunch for over 30 minutes and was never approached regarding my order or even acknowledged by the person behind the bar. Not a "Green Book" friendly establishment at all. The bar did everything but put a "No Blacks Allowed" sign behind the bar. Black people, I have taken the hit for us all on this one. Do NOT give this establishment your hard earned money. Sorry to be the deliverer of bad news but you are not welcomed here.

During the winter and spring, I recommend to seat outside and enjoy the view of the Miami river (during summer it is too hot, go inside under A/C). The food is mainly fresh seafood, simple, fresh, and at reasonable prices. The specialty is the whole deep fried yellowtail snapper.

Worst restaurant experience we've ever had. Awful prices, we ordered two small cream lobster, two fish sandwiches, the worst one didn't taste anything like plastic 1 flan, 1 rice pudding, 1 mojito and a Whiskey, total $195, with tip imposed, we'll never come back.

We found this restaurant online. We booked a dinner with a view of the water. Magnificent dish, super good, appetizing and fresh. Very good service. Well done, keep it up.

Wonderful setting on the water! The flavor of the grouper with both the cream mushroom sauce and the lemon caper were both excellent Atmosphere Service Food flavors and choices Why do some of y’all not give 5 stars is beyond me

I sat outside next to the water and the view was beautiful. I had the ceviche sampler and it was all SO good! There was one that was my favorite but they were all delicious. The table next to me had some sort of seafood platter which looked amazing. All the food that went by looked delicious. A boat pulled up next to the restaurant while I was there and unloaded bins of fish into the restaurant. Talk about fresh!!! Only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is the service. The waiters were ok but not very inviting and they seem disinterested. I also asked if the sampler was too much for one and was assured it was perfect for one person. It came and it was enough for 4 people! No way one person could eat all that! So it felt like the waiter was just getting me to order the higher priced item.

It can only be described as vulgarly unprofessional. As we were in line outside at the Fish Market, a lady arrived and tried to push her way through the front door with her son. The gentleman at the door stopped her and she called someone named SANDRA who apparently worked in the office. SANDRA Quickly rushed them in. When it was my turn I entered to find the lady was in deep conversation with Sandra AND THE MANAGER. Inside the store all business had halted and no-one was being acknowledged (there was only 3 additional customers in the store including me). Meanwhile the line outside kept growing and growing. The manager, Sandra and the lady continued on and on about her son, an employment reference and having casual extended conversation. Above all THE LADY WASN'T WEARING ANY PROTECTIVE GEAR AT ALL; NO GLOVES, NO MASK, AND LEANING AND TOUCHING ALL THE DISPLAY CASES WITH BARE HANDS WITH RAW FISH ON THE OTHER SIDE AND HER SON HI-FIVE'ing AND ELBOW'ing THE MANAGER. Sandra then turns to me and says: :"we will get to you but YOU HAVE TO WAIT" in a very scolding voice. Meanwhile their personal conversation carried on and on and on .... holding up shoppers inside and outside. The Lady finally made a small purchase and as she walked besides me, in a taunting demeanor she spewed: "I got in, I got in, I got in" .... IN FRONT OF THE MANAGER .... ONE COULD ALMOST HEAR THE CIRCUS MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND. The manager allowed this lady to skip the line, devoid of any protective gear, allowed long personal conversations between staff and clients with zero consideration for any customer who patiently waited, zero consideration for any clients waiting outside in the sun, allowed Sandra to scold me for no reason (I didn't even speak to that lady inside) and finally allowed the lady to scold me personally. I will post the receipt where you will appreciate that maybe going to Whole Foods may be a better option .... where you will avoid SUCH VULGAR ATTITUDE.

We arrived on time at 7:30 and even though the restaurant was like 20% full, the valet claimed only vip parking was available at a $25 charge. When I asked the maitre her response was “well, couldn’t you see the parking lot was full, try finding a place on the street “ As for the food, I found it to be as expected for a tourist trap: average and over priced.

This place is a mess. I tried calling to make a group reservation and they do not answer the phone. I then decided to do a split visit, today it was just my mother and I, and after the new year I was planning on the group lunch. There is no way I will be returning. The food is over priced, the service is marginal, and when you arrive you are “told” to either do valet parking for $10 or park across the street for $20. What got me was when the bill arrived they tacked on 20% tip on the total bill (sub total plus tax), as opposed to allowing you to tip what you feel is appropriate on the subtotal. When the bill arrived at our table I was in the ladies room and my mother paid. When she was driving home I asked how much it was, she showed me the receipt and I was floored. If you are NOT a group or a party, they should not be tipping themselves 20% gratuity!!! WHAT NERVE and the service was not that great. They prefer to cater to the private watercrafts than the table patrons. We will never go back their again and I will not recommend them to anyone I know!

Relax place on the water with nice views, was there many years ago and in the man time they had a mayor renovation to add space by the river...they still have them Gish market next door but for me the place has lost all his charm, big menu .. for me very touristic.... nothing enchanting..food was ok.

Great location right on the river with nice outdoor patio seating. Food was good quality and well prepared.

By far my husband and my favorite restaurant in all of Florida. The restaurant has a charming, comfortable feel, with amazing views of the beach and A1A. The service has always been top notch. The food is to die for; a must the chowder. This last go around my husband had the walnut chicken (delish) and I had the crab cake on top of mahi on top of mashed potatoes (yum). It gets busy so expect to wait, but well worth it. Enjoy.

The restaurant staff not nice, when you enter smell very bad odor, is too much hot place the fans their have are not good I sweet like a pork, 🤧

Was brought here for dinner by a friend and as we walked through the restaurant, we did not expect an outdoor table right off the water. You are greeted by several folks and some of the tables are snug, but we were given an entire table. Our food was great. I wanted the seabass, but the market price had it at $40, so I ordered the scallops. They were huge and covered in a light but rich and decadent sauce. We also had grouper sandwiches and fresh fish after an appetizer of calamari and conch fritters. The drinks were great and they put real sugar cane in their mojitos. My flan was amazing and the service was on point. Only issue is that parking is limited and you have to valet your car.

This review is just not they're seafood market next door where their fish and seafood in the restaurant is for sale. We actually ate at a nearby restaurant, the Sea Spice for lunch and were planning on getting the famous stone crab claws for dinner. Initially our hostess was planning on purchasing them at another market, not exclusively a fish market that had been recommended for its' crab. Instead we ended up purchasing the crab here when we got there. All the displayed fish looked quite fresh and they had and impressive variety. The stone crab looked especially enticing and our hostess was very keen to buy the jumbo crab claws since she had yet to see this big of a size anywhere since moving to Miami. For almost $25 per pound I though it was expensive but once we got it home and had it for dinner, it seemed like a bargain. For this size you get about 3 per pound and they were just delicious, fresh and succulent just unbelievably meaty. If you are eating them within a few hours, they will crack it for you but otherwise crack them just before you eat them if you can. There is a stand up counter and a refrigerator case of sauces (mustard sauce is the choice of most) and accompanying drinks for those who can't wait to get home to gorge on these delicacies, sort of a buy eat and run instead of going to their more pricey restaurant next door. Definitely a good place to eat the super fresh stone crab in an authentic and very casual place right in the middle of the fish market.

I went here with a couple of friends for dinner, looking for good seafood in Miami, and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was laid back, but classy, and our waiter, Juan Carlos (J.C.), was a pleasure to have serve us. We stayed for a couple of hours, enjoying happy hour, and the delicious food. We had a beautiful view of the bay, and the dinner was worth every penny. I would gladly go back to Casablanca on the Bay.

Atmosphere terrific view. That is why we rated it so high. 3 of us ordered snapper. None of thought we got snapper. Maybe Talipia? It wasn’t a flaky fish. I ordered pan seared the other two were to be broiled. All looked the same. Two found the $39 fish overcooked. The salad came at end of meal. The drinks were late. Note: Don’t be late with drinks it makes everyone crabby. The waiter was taking a lonnnggg order from anther table. He could have excused himself and got our drinks. All and all never going back.

Our first visit by boat and it was a good experience. Good dock master service and well built dock. We took advantage of the happy hour food and drink menu. Food and drinks were all with great prices. Seafood was fresh and delicious, drinks were not very good. They happily replaced the first round but unfortunately second round was not much better. Highly recommend restaurant maybe best to stick with beer and wine.

This restaurant is still very good however has lost its old world, laid back charm. Linen napkins and Italian mineral water is proof of that. Prices also have increased. Notwithstanding, my wife and I will continue returning

We needed to get away from the bustle of South Beach and decided to try this place on a friend’s recommendation. So glad we did. The waitstaff was friendly even as we lingered after our meal. I had mahi mahi. My husband had a whole fried fish; can’t remember what the fish was called, but he loved it. We had key lime pie for dessert... yum! We enjoyed watching the boats as the passed by on the river. Most of the others diners in the restaurant spoke Spanish; however all our waitstaff were fluent in English, as well. If I ever go back to Miami, this is where I will want to go!

Visited with a big family group. Staff was attentive and food was great. If you sit in the porch area by the water, you might inhale a fose of exhaust smoke from a boat that stops nearby. The food is good quality but it’s Miami, so it’s expensive. The ceviche was actually the hit for me; delicious! Not impressed with the oysters. Would visit again.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Enjoy ed setting by the river with good food watching the yachts go by. Highly recommended. Hope we have a chance for a second visit before we leave.

WAY, WAY OVERPRICED....I asked for a shrimp cocktail and it took forever to get it; the grouper steak wasn't cooked all the way and mojito drink was a good lemonade....🙁🥵

Out door dining by the river with plenty of fans so it's not that hot (90 Degree Miami summer). Kids friendly we got crayons 😃 And good fish restaurant, I order a whole yellowtail snapper fried for each of my kids (first time) and they eat it and love it. Super nice server she always smile even when we do so much mess and used so many lemons... And the alcoholic beverages was 50% off for happy hour. highly recommend it.

I love everything about this place! The food is the best in town. The freshest food and the nicest view. I recommend it a 100% the employees do know how to treat the customers.

How do you miss with Fresh Grouper and Conch Fritters, with key lime pie to finish. Life is Good! Try this one if you get to Miami

There is an old saying, always eat where the locals eat. Well, you must try Casablanca. My friend and I were treated by his boat broker for lunch. We sat outside by the water watching boats of all sizes cruise by. We had steamed clams, octopus, followed by crispy Hog fish served whole. The plantens and yellow rice added a true Creole experience. Highly recommend Casablanca!

We were a group of 11, ordered few appetizers to share and than mains. All of us were happy with our food even the meat eaters. Delicious food and great service.

Last year whilst spending many months in Miami Casablanca became our favorite and regular restaurant, always consistently good food. Last night back on our first night we could not wait to return, I particularly could not wait to have their what was delicious Red Snapper We were informed d that it was fifty five dollars for two pounds however I certainly doubt it was anywhere close to two pounds when I asked the waiter he said well you asked for no head on that's why it looks small. That being said it was absolutely tasteless yes fresh but no taste at all. My husband had mahi-mahi also bland and tasteless. Grouper soup to start had bits of grouper with thin noodles could not eat it tasted like they added grouper to chicken noodle soup mix was awful and cold. My husbands lobster soup bland cold and tasteless. So sad as this was our all time favorite restaurant in Miami that we always highly recommended Would love a response from management

I’ve spent a lot of time at fantastic seafood restaurants up and down the east coast. This isn’t one of them. The oysters were tasty and fresh but everything else was below average. Conch fritters that tasted frozen. Stuffed shrimp that were small with mushy dark yellow crab stuffing. Side was steamed broccoli. Literally it was just steamed broccoli with no attempt to elevate it. I won’t be back.

Great outdoor water view bar and dining space. Inside was nice too. Food was very enjoyable and well prepared. The flavor on the rice in the paella was outstanding! Wish it had a greater variety of seafood- it had a lot of calamari and not enough shrimp, clams etc. Drinks were well made also. Had a great lunch.

Food was average. Paella wasn’t the best. The branzino thou was tasty. Service was great and desserts were good. Nice view

The obvious: the fish is as fresh as can be, and the dining is river-side. But the management has forsaken simple preparations and good portions for hipster doofus presentations. New Rule: Whenever a restaurant artfully drips some sort of sauce on a plate as a sort of signature culinary calligraphy, you can be assured that while the food will taste good, there won't be enough of it to satisfy, and it will be expensive. Try the joint next door and do your own comparison. Go fish...someplace else.

The owners of this magnificent jewel are outstanding quality people! They support their community and it all translates into one of the best places to eat when in Miami! Everything is the best!

Best meal we had on our trip. Steaks, seafood, drinks all amazing. Casual dress and great prices. Gorgeous. We sat at the tables next to the water and watched yachts pass us while we were dining. Don’t miss this place!

The attention is very good the wonderful views you feel the air is a relaxing place the very good food has the advantage that you feel you are on a yacht ride in Miami Bay you can park in the same restaurant lunch or dinner and follow in your yacht some crazy is recommended the truth.

It has been years since I came down to the Miami River for dinner. Needless to say, the dining establishments and river itself have undergone a major transformation. This casual looking and very nautical restaurant is a perfect spot for enjoying the culinary cuisine along the river. Our table shared the clams, octopus and fried shrimp as an appetizer and instead of opting for the outstanding seafood dishes as an entree I choose the Filet Au Poive which was cooked just right. Iris our waitress was extremely cheerful and did a great job. The outside bar area looked like the perfect setting to chill back on a hot Florida day. There are numerous restaurants side by side along this stretch of the river and Casablanca is worth your consideration.

This used to be one of our favorites and we would go at least once each visit to our home in Miami. No longer. The place has become expensive but worse than that they are not providing the quality of food one would expect. My wife had a seafood paella should have been with truffled rice. It was not truffled rice it was white rice with butter on it and the seafood element was very meager. I had a Chilean Seabass main course which was supposed to come with a shrimp sauce. If that sauce ever saw a shrimp, I would’ve been amazed. It tasted like a lemon sauce with no shrimp evident whatsoever. When we raised these issues with the server he shrugged his shoulders, made a little apology and that was the end of that. We will not be returning anytime soon if ever. What is saddest that this place used to be to draw. Maybe it was a bad night but I didn’t think so since it was easy to get into, whilst in the old days they were queuing around the corner. Great shame.

This Restaurant and the neighbor Garcia’s Fish Market are classics in Miami! Both have a fish & seafood market in the storefront! Fresh fish & seafood, local and imported!Indoors and outdoors seating right next to the Miami river bank where you can see the boats passing by in front of you! We had stone crabs, very fresh! the service good! The only con is that it is too pricey $$$$, they add up 18% tip upfront! With that kind of money you could buy stone crabs for a whole family at Whole Foods! Still recommend! Good quality! I recommend you go to that area during the day mainly!

I came here in February with some friends. The food was pretty good and the ambiance of boats going by made it a good place to consider when returning with my wife. Came in December 2022 with my wife to show her some good seafood in Miami. Wow! I wish I would have listened to the prior reviews. This was probably the worst seafood meal I’ve ever had. Frozen fish that was wayyyyyy overcooked and a terrible presentation with a bunch of watery peppers dumped on top. The server barely paid attention to us when we were ordering and often spilling wine or water on table and food when refilling. I regret that my big seafood night in Miami turned out so poorly. Avoid this place and listen to the reviews.

Food was fantastic and worth every penny depending if you are a fan of seafood. If you are then you are in for a treat. It was no fuss style of cooking and how it should be. I enjoyed my food and think it should be put on tourist route of restaurants to visit whilst you are in Miami. The atmosphere was fantastic and location by the water was great. Watching the different size of boats depending on the owners bank balance going by was great. People watching at its best with glass of wine and fabulous food. Cant get better than this!!

The place is a 7 minutes drive from Brickell via Uber. Nice atmosphere, specially if you are seated outside besides the Miami river. Service was great. No need to be calling our waitress. She was always on hand to serve you, specially us: we were a group of 10. They are baby stroller friendly (no like some other places in Miami). Food was served on time, considering the place was packed full. Many in our group ordered fried "Dog Fish". Crispy on the outside but tender and juicy in the inside. Well done, like we like it back home in Puerto Rico! The menu is ample and they even include "Tostones" (smashed fried plantains). We weren't expecting this king of food so near downtown Miami.

We've visited Miami several times but this is the first time we visited Casablanca. It was a suggestion by our Uber driver and I'm so glad he did. This is a very casual dining experience for either couples our families. Ask for a table overlooking the river to watch the different yachts go by while you're waiting for your food. I believe the restaurant has their own fishermen do the fish is really fresh. The crab cake appetizer comes with two small crab cakes with a scoop of a corn salad and another citrus slaw salad that my hubby and I shared. Very tasty! The Caesar salad comes with a large amount of grilled chicken, mahi mahi, or some well seasoned grilled shrimp. The calamari is fresh tasting. Although we didn't order it on this visit I think the "must have" is the whole red snapper. Oh and don't let me get started about the desserts! This will definitely be a regular spot for us during our future visits to Miami.

In spite of being this a place you can considered “touristy” (prices a bit high as a consequence) the quality of service (except for a somewhat “grudgy” reception) and food is top. We had snapper, sea bass, scallops, all of them very well prepared. Good place is you look for quality fish.

We were there on a Tuesday night. We live in Georgia and always eat at Casablanca when we are in Miami!! It was a “must” for us. The food was great! It is a little more expensive that last time we were there but I guess prices are up everywhere. What really bothered us was that in the restaurant they don’t have self parking and we have always done valet without complaints BUT this time the valet was $20. It is outrageous that they charge that amount of money on parking on top of all the price increases. The restaurant doesn’t have space for parking and are taking extra advantage of the clients. For sure We will think twice before We go there again

great seafood and the best pina colas. quiet atmosphere right on the Miami river. the best whole fried hig snapper we have ever eaten. black beans and rice, excellent fish spread and plantains... yum

I visited this restaurant while in Miami. I must say that the food was good. I ordered the fried shrimp and fried. To my surprise the shrimps were really Jumbo. They were cooked pretty good with batter but just enough to cover the shrimp. I was so full off of 5 shrimps. I will return to this establishment when I visit Miami again.

Excellent menu. Fish dip was delicious. Heard so many good things about this place that locals love. The crab cakes were yummy. The baked stuffed shrimp was a disappointment. The shrimp were SO small! The stuffing was good. Place was mobbed. Obviously does a wonderful business. Would like to try again.

We found this place in walking distance from the Hilton. It is in another hotel so a little over priced but not horrible. I was really hoping to have crazy legs but they weren’t in season. The wife had sea scallops and said they were cooked perfectly. I had a sea bass that was very nice and light. The service was a little slow but more for you to enjoy the view and food. We were able to see the boats coming in and just hang out.

Rich lobster soup, poor grilled seafood and bad, shrimp cold horrible tones and noticed that everything was frozen , good attention I wouldn't come back.

My wife and I have been eating here for years. It has always been fantastic. Every time we come to Miami we eat here. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Found this place by accident because of a sign for free oysters and half off drinks. Had to do some looking but found it between the Marriott and Doubletree hotels. First of all, we asked the hostess about the free oysters and she said they were 3 free per drink. Settled into a table outside next to the railing with an excellent view of the bay and marina. Ordered a margarita and mojito. They were really good for half off drinks as the margarita had a rim of half white and black salt. As stated the fish dip was amazing and complimentary but the oysters were a no show for some reason. Later we were surprised that 5 oysters showed up with no apparent explanation. Had the fish tacos and grouper sandwich with French fries that came in a cute miniature French fry basket. Great place to eat if staying at either hotel.

I had shrimp and lobster dish and it was great. Very fulling and delicious I'm definitely going back there when I'm in Miami again.

I went here with a friend that lives there and his family, we were 6. Overall, the only thing good were the apetizers, the rest was awful. The seafood didn't even taste like seafood, it was like tasting unflavoured gum... The price was too expensive for what they offer. For sure I won't repeat.

Beyond the food being spectacular. Neverless, the restaurant needs to control the boats anchored to the outside board. The fume of the irresponsable captains/monkeys make the dinner experience horrible, between the loud music and the fumes of the boat. So sad and frustrating experience fo the amazing service that cannot control the people at the dock.

We went for a lunch on a Sunday. The first table we were seated was right out the entrance into the patio such a small area we could not even move. We asked to move to another table as the reataurant was not full at all. We were fairly early for lunch. We asked the waitress about the sangria and ahe responded : “bueno sangria es sangria”.... really? I tried to explained her that there could be many ways to make sangria... anyways she did not care. We were going to order a pitcher but gave up. My husband order a beer and I ordered a glass of Sangria.... not good at all. The waiter told me they add Fanta to it ... The food was very good! Too bad the place lacks good service.

We ate here two nights in a row for dinner. The first night we had exceptional service from a beautiful young lady. I wish I knew her name. She was spot on. The food was exceptional. Amazing dining experience. The second night we went back. The hostess said two hour wait. We were about to leave when I saw the assistant manager want told him how much we enjoyed the food and service. We said we want you w us tonight. Some reservations do not arrive, there might be an opening, please sit. We sat for a very few minutes. The asst manager walked us to a table for two that he had set up for us! Talk about a wow factor. The food was exceptional, again. Excellent service. Highly recommend this gem. It’s second floor of mall attached to Marriott bisayne bay! I wish I remembered the managers name. Thank you for everything. You made our stay in Miami so much better after terrible service and food at our Marriott hotel restaurant. I’m sorry I do not know names. We were just there last night. Thank you!

Happy Hour until 7 P.M., drinks are 2 for one and they have great tasting Mojitos that end up costing 4 5.50 each! A dozen fresh oysters for $ 9. This is a great place for Happy hour or early dinner. Take your friends for 6PM early dinner and enjoy special prices of oysters and drinks plus try appetizers sharing for dinner since the food is a bit pricey for the area such as Tuna Tartar $15, Great fresh fried fish fingers $ 12 Cod Fritters $ 11. Tab for 3 sharing appetizers, having oysters and and 2 drinks a piece with dessert is around $ 112. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Miami River. The most popular dish here is a fried fres whole fish.

We had a really excellent dinner here. Lovely setting on the river and we sat right by the river so we could see the boats go by. The food was excellent, we had lobster bisque and calamari to start and the salmon and grouper for mains, all really good. Brilliant selection of desserts as well. Staff were really good and attentive. Great value for money and a great restaurant to go to with a beautiful view.

Good ambiance, sitting available by the river, the seafood is fresh, good portions, very good service, delicious desserts.

Pretty big portions for reasonably priced menu items. Can't complain drinking an ice cold beer with your seafood lunch on the river. The server was sweet and attentive, and overall had a good time.

We went there for dinner for a “Miami seafood” experience. Read all the positive reviews. However we were disappointed in general. As some other reviewers have noted- food is definitely overpriced for the quality and taste. My blackened grouper was extremely salty and over cooked. Octopus appetizer was chewy- we have had better. Overall would not recommend given the wide seafood choice available in Miami.

Went there for a nice Sunday lunch with a group of friends. The place is very nicely set next to the river and if you are on the terrace you’ll have a super view. The idea was sharing all the food and so we ordered various starters and main courses ... so much I don’t remember in detail. All was very good, except the grilled fish in the end, dry, over cooked and tasteless . Nevertheless we had excellent service and the bill was reasonable. I’ll be back for sure.

The seafood here is fresh and flavorful, with a nice variety on the menu. The ambiance is cozy, making it a great spot for a casual dinner. Service was attentive, though a bit slow at times. Overall, a solid choice for seafood lovers!

Food had no taste overpriced mojito was $18 for a 12 oz glass Mixed grilled seafood was $35 overpriced came without side dish Wait staff offered nothing for Birthday girl not even a cupcake! Every restaurant offers something free for birthday person Grilled fish was dry and bland and tasteless

The food! The atmosphere! The staff! The owners! All top notch. We (our group) had the calamari & crab cake for appetizers, scallops, sea bass, and chicken alfredo for dinner. Everything was delicious! The freshest seafood I’ve had in Miami, served by friendly staff. The owners could not have been nicer. Wonderful people. Beautiful views of the river. Enjoyed a lovely sunset.
No Quality at All
Except the lovely servers, there is nothing special here. The food is beyond terrible. Mostly fried and cheap quality.
