Amazing experience

By Katarzyna Z |

What an amazing experience!! We came to have dinner last night, we started at the bar with a couple of spritzers, fallow by a few appetizers, the fritto misto was amazing , the aioli sauce was just delicious, we also had lobster ravioli and branzino , they are both to die for. Top notch service and great atmosphere, I definitely recommend this restaurant and will comeback soon.

Fantastic food. My wife had ossobuco and it was so tender and delicious. I had lentil soup that was the best I have had with lobster ravioli was excellent. The service was seamless.

Disappointing Breakfast

By Tim M |

Most of the restaurants at the Venetian are good to great. The breakfast at Casanova is the exception. The food quality was like a poor Denny's. There are far better breakfast options at the Venetian... don't spend breakfast $$ here.

European Charm

By Brenda N |

Casanova’s is a quaint little restaurant in the ‘Food Court” of the Grand Canal Shoppes next to the Venetian Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. There are many, famous (and expensive) restaurants on the Strip, but I was looking for some decent Italian food for which I wouldn’t have to pay through the nose. Casanova’s filled the bill. Granted, it is small and a little limited by its venue, but the service was good and the food better than average. It is not directly on the “Grand Canal” but was very well decorated and appointed. I automatically received wonderful bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar supplied at the table. I wasn’t very hungry so I opted out of the salad and ordered angel hair pasta with Bolognese sauce (not a “standard” menu item, but my server was very eager to please). I would write his name, but the spelling confused me so I don’t remember it. He treated me like a very special guest with the skill and aplomb of a seasoned professional. When I asked for garlic bread, I learned it was not on the menu. My server worked with the kitchen and brought out some bread with garlic and cheese on top that was toasted to just the right level. The meal was very good and the price was amazing, given the location. All in all, I was very pleased and satisfied. I readily recommend this place. The table next to my had the Linguine Casanova, and I believe I would order that if and when I get back to the place (pretty likely if I go back to Vegas anytime soon).

Very nice place and great food.

We had dinner here before attending a show at The Venetian. The service was very good and the Italian food was excellent. Would go here again.

Delicious food but....

By Odojoe |

My wow and I enjoyed a delicious dinner last night. She had a Greek style pasta dish and I had spaghetti and meatballs. Unfortunately I awoke about 2 AM with stomach pains and diarrhea. Other than a bag of popcorn and a blueberry muffin, dinner was my main meal. The service was good, the wine was tasty, but...

Excellent Food and Spirits.

By rah422018 |

In our weeklong stay at The Venetian, we had dinner here twice. Both times, the food was terrific. Service was exceptional. The choices of wines and beers great too. I had a chicken parmigiana the first night, and a seafood mix the last. Both were great. My wife had Moussaka, which was more like eggplant parmigiana, and the wild mushroom ravioli. She loved both. There are many Italian style restaurants in the Canal shop area, this one is quite good. Enjoy.

Average and over priced

By TTomTT |

We chose this restaurant as we wanted a less formal final evening in Las Vegas and this seemed a perfect option. Two main meals, a starter, draft beer and glass of wine was $100, for this price we felt we had better meals in Las Vegas. Both of us had pasta dishes- penne and fettuccine, both dishes although well portioned didn't appear to be fresh pasta (tasted more like dried pasta) disappointing for the price and location.

Little restaurant that treats you like royalty

By sara_travel419 |

I love this cute little restaurant! Every time I am in Vegas, I stop by for one of their delicious breakfast items! My favorite is the combo. They charge too much for coffee in Vegas. If you are from an area, be prepared to pay at least $4.00 for a regular cup of coffee at any restaurant.

Good Italian restaurant

By Teddy N |

My wife order the crab cakes and minestrone soup plus spaghetti with black Angus ground beef I also ordered Alfredo chicken with portobello mushrooms and bacon good yummy only thing is this place is small services is good also

Ate twice

By Justmyopinion |

The breakfast was good especially if you like crispy bacon. Got take out for chicken souvlaki dinner. They make the chicken with curry which didn't seem to go well. Didn't eat much of it. So breakfast good, lunch not so good.

Tapas restaurant at Venetian

By zapprint |

I assume these 2 are related, if not this review is for tapas bar. We just needed a quick snack for the afternoon and were not disappointed. Hummus, meatball sliders & olives were all well prepared & presented. 3 kinds of hummus were accompanied with pita bread as were the olives. I didn't get a bite of the meatballs but they were reportedly great.

Great food but not open on time

By Tracey R |

Great breakfast but it's hit or miss if they are open at 8am as advertised. If you hit the day right you'll get a hearty breakfast for a good price. They just need to work on being on time!

Awesome Experience

By Miss E |

Probably the most delicious Italian cuisine in Vegas. Try the Homemade Egg Pasta which is lightly peppered with grey mullet essence with a simple springiness. The King Crab Risotto is another more premium item that’s filled with oceanic flavours and truffles.

Good experience

By HotQuescene |

I've dined here twice over the last couple years with positive experiences. The inside atmosphere is pleasant for a shopping area establishment. The service was excellent as well as the food. I don't recall specifically, however, we most likely had veal and fish the first visit. My last visit I had a NY strip steak that was cooked perfectly. I dine here primarily because of the Vegas Strip discount card I purchase every visit. I will return.

Reasonably priced typical Italian dishes

By Michael D |

Wanted to not spend too much time or money after two weeks of vacation restaurant food. While shopping at the Ventian we looked at restaurants for dinner and decided on this small place near the food court. The dishes were your typical Italian dishes and we decided to have the mushroom ravioli. It was good portion, very well made and price was not bad. Enjoyed it.

This little restaurant is a surprising hidden gem!!!

By lossow |

Tucked away in the Venetian Hotel is a tiny restaurant, among the Canal Shoppes;one of the finest restaurants in Vegas. The food was WONDERFUL, and the service was phenomenal. Our waiter Miguel was super. We chose the back room because it was a little quieter. Kind of romantic, there were roses on the table. We recommend the osso bucco and lamb chops. Because we had a dining card (from buying show tickets), we got half price on our entrees. This is the second time we have eaten there, and we will go there again when in Vegas.

Great Stake

By KR - Londoner |

We had a good time at this restaurant, the food was excellent started off with the crab cakes and should have order Two my wife and I shared one, the stakes were well done due to our preferences in a red wine sauce and well worth it.

An option for casual drink

By stevebintley |

It’s a small bar area in the middle of the walkways but if you’re looking for a drink only one of the few options easy to get into. The member of bar staff was pretty grumpy, exchanging practically no words while serving but fortunately the service was quick enough. Good number of screens if you want to follow the sport and the prices aren’t too bad given the location. For a no fuss drink it’s decent enough.

Loved it!

By Dazbats |

Visited here twice on our recent trip to Vegas. We used our 50% off main dish from tix4tonight. Both times had a fabulous meal - would thorougly recommend.

By default it can work, but absolutely go for it...... no!

By boss32 |

Not finding a possibility to dine without having reserved, we made do with what we found......... well-cooked but tasteless pasta, long service and incompetent waiters......... .. in short to avoid!

Nice restaurant with big portions

By Tucson Stephen |

We were quite shocked at the size of portions here. So the prices were not unreasonable for a hotel cafe. We could easily have split one breakfast. It’s a very busy restaurant, and service can be unpredicatable. Very happy that we decided to eat here.

Rushed tummy ache

By Dimo |

Poor service as entrees were served before we could finish appetizers. Food was mediocre. Sorry to say experience resulted in really bad bathroom experience.

Great dinner

By Skindychic |

We were just walking around the Venitian seeing if anything caught our eyes for dinner, what attracted us was the smell walking by. I got the fettuccine carbanara and my boyfriend got the lamb, both were delicious! The service was great and the food came out hot and quick. The price was also good for the food and atmosphere. I would go back!

Just passable

By YanCSL |

Small restaurant that does just the job, in a noisy passage and which I wouldn't really suggest for a quiet evening. On the plate, it's passable, but I honestly can't recommend.

Stunning

By Miss E |

Fantastic menu and the best lasagna I've ever had, - a secret family Service was excellent. The best meal we had in Vegas.

Could be good...depending on what you order....

By Jamie32764 |

We dined here for breakfast while staying at The Venetian. I ordered blueberry pancakes and my companion ordered savory crepes. My blueberry pancakes were good, but the savory crepe was awful. The crepe was thick and the ham and cheddar inside was not hot. The cheese was not a bit melted. Service was a bit slow, but to the waiter's credit, he did take note that the crepe was not eaten and took it off the bill without us saying anything about it (hence, the 3 stars). Very nice. We did have to ask for the check literally 5 times, but not sure if it was due to the waiter taking the order of crepes off the bill, which we did appreciate. Maybe it was an off day,

In the Venetian .....

By Traderjoey |

Our party of 6 loved the Italian fare. I enjoyed the eggplant, thought it was fantastic and sampled other dishes. Gluten free options available. The Arnold Palmer was served with sparkling water and not lemonade...we returned that. Warm bread basket before dinner.

Good Italian in a cozy location

By IrishRover |

During a busy Tuesday night we got a reservation for 3 at the last minute. The service was covid good as there was only 3 in the restaurant waiting tables. I had the Casanova Fettuccine it was very tasty and a nice portion. Wife had the homage gnocchi and she enjoyed it Son had the salmon he thought it was average Overall it was a good choice and would give it another chance

A delight for the palate

By allecco |

A very different menu. Pastas seafood, steaks and wide variety of appetizers. My husband had the brazino with a tasty lemon garlic sauce with tomatoes and garlic. I had the rigatoni ala bolognese. Very light and not heavy like other sauces. Servers were very attentive.

Okay food, service not great

By PreacherKane |

Visited here during a conference in which we had a team dinner. I didn't know a great deal about the organisation - it appeared to be a set menu consisting of four courses and the waiters made no attempt to explain what was coming. There was a starter consisting of breads and dip, an intermediate course of Caesar Salad, then some tapas-style dishes consisting of meatballs, macaroni and antipasti. The food itself was tasty, but it wasn't clear when plates were delivered that they were to be shared between 4 or 6 people, nor whether more could be ordered, so we were left wanting for some plates and others vanished quickly. There was also quite a delay between drinks being ordered and delivery, leaving people dry for too long periods. The general atmosphere was rushed, as though waiters wanted to get things down on tables quickly them move onto the next task. Despite the number in our party (a good 70 or so) I didn't really feel as though they could be bothered with offering a good service and just wanted to get through it as quickly as possible. Given the chance, I don't think I'll bother returning.

Over priced and poor service

By atkins99 |

When we arrived only one other table in. Service was very slow and food was ok. We actually left hungry. Online they have a kids menu and main menu. When we arrived no kids menu and the menu prices are a lot more expensive. Spoke with Vasil Nazegaj about it. No apology just saying the menu is subject to change and stats on website however he couldn’t show me. All in all a very bad experience and I wouldn’t recommend or return. I can see why it was empty.

Dinner at Casanova Restaurant

By mhtraveler |

Nestled between Houdini’s Magic Shop and the Art of Venice at the Venetian is a gem of a restaurant called Casanova. It has a mainly Italian fare with some other Mediterranean offerings thrown in. We started with Aperol sprizes in the sports bar and then moved across the aisle to the restaurant for dinner. We chose a mainly seafood menu. We started with the fritto misto which was delicately fried calamari, shrimp and asparagus with marinara and lemon aioli sauces. We also ordered the beef carpaccio which came as expected as paper thin beef covered with arugula, capers and shaved parmesan cheese. The taste of the beef was overwhelmed by the things on top. We then had the lobster ravioli which seemed homemade, a little doughy, but with a nice flavor with little bits of lobster on top. For entrees, we chose the branzino and Cioppino. The branzino came as two large fish filets on a bed of couscous and garnished with many colors and kinds of olives. The branzino was lightly breaded and very tasty. The Cioppino came with many different kinds of seafood. My son liked it very much. We paired the dinner with Irony Chardonnay from California which we enjoyed. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced for most budgets. This is a great find for a nice dinner on The Strip for an intimate dinner or for a large group. A plus is that parking is free at the Venetian and Palazzo.

Good food slow service

By Lisa P |

The food was good. We had pasta dishes. The bolognese was very flavorful. We had to wait awhile for our server to get drink orders and the kitchen seemed slow considering we ordered pasta.

Has Classy Feel Desite the Location

By Joaquin M |

One never know about "hotel food." But this restaurant manage to capture a touch of class despite being along the shops in the Venetian. The meals were flavorful and filling. My wife jokes about my using a piece of bread to sop up the last of the broth in my dish. (Way to class up a joint!) We will definitely consider dining hear again on our next visit to Vegas

Good Italian food and service, casual setting

By Claudia10229 |

Casanova offered a variety of Italian choices. I had fettuccine Casanova: with mushrooms, chickens, tomatoes and bacon. Very tasty, large portion, almost too much for 1 person. My husband had chicken parmigiana which he liked and the portion was good size. We almost could have shared either meal. Very tasty bread with butter served with the meal. The service was great since the waiter and "bus service" waited on us. The tables are both inside the restaurant and outside in the mall area. We didn't mind sitting near the mall since we could watch people but we weren't on the edge where people could look at our food as they passed by. We did make dinner reservations the night before.

Italian cuisine, pleasant discovery

By Magi95 |

We went to this restaurant for dinner, chosen almost by chance, attracted by the elegant but not excessively refined atmosphere and the smiling staff. We had dinner on two consecutive evenings, the pasta alla vodka and the rigatoni bolognese were truly excellent (at the end of the dinner we complimented the chef, who we later discovered was Italian). The next evening we ate pizza, the dough was very light and therefore super digestible and light. Ingredients, also in this case, of excellent quality. The price is a little excessive (like all places in Las Vegas) but at least you eat really, really well! Super recommended.

Food ok. But bad attitude & service.

By Munchkin740 |

Flashing back to a visit to Las Vegas I remember this restaurant for the particularly crappy attitude of the staff. As any of you who may have read my reviews know...i base a lot on that initial contact with the staff. Not just the food etc. In this restaurant where we went for breakfast one day it was quiet and yet the waiters could not have cared less about us , and when they did come over they had service skills and attitude to match. The place is clean enough and not too bad decor, though amongst others in a food court type area. We eventually ordered the eggs benedict and cheesy omellette, and of course my cappuccino. The orders came out in an okay time the omellette also had hash brown with it. Overall the food was okay, the omellette was a decent size and the eggs benedict NOT the worst I've had. Thus the two star rating ....if the food was worse it would definitely be a one. And it shows that I really do base a lot on that first impression when entering a restaurant. In this case we were so close to walking out the door!! If in Vegas again would definitely not go here.

Satisfying Breakfast

By travel_chic_1000 |

If you want a reasonably priced breakfast in the Venetian shops, this is it! We ordered the eggs benedict and nutella crepes. Lovely! The best part was the gondola people singing as they paraded around on their way to their boats in the morning.

Really rude wait staff

By Tina W |

Not sure what is going on in las vagas but the staff seem to be so rude and unhelpful . This is a new thing that we have found on this trip compared to 3 years ago. This restaurant was so rude. First as a table of 6 they did not want to seat us so we went in 2 groups of 3. Then the service was terrible not sure it was because we are Australian and not known to tip enough or they just can’t be bothered but either way I don’t think vagas will be on my go back list. This restaurant really need to make sure it trains its staff better

Not too bad

By Asela P |

Located at The Venician. Has good Italian cuisine. We met up for dinner and I had the lamp chop and it was quite good. My colleague had a pasta but he wasn’t too happy with the meal. The place was packed and needed reservation. The service was very good. The waiters were very courteous and quick to respond to our needs despite the place being packed.

Taking a chance

By Ray H |

Bought a discount coupon based on recommendation of agent. He recommended the rib eye which we both had. Excellent meal. Vegetables perfect. Service very good and friendly. Wine overpriced so we had amber draft which was excellent. Others around us enjoyed their meals.

Nothing to write home about.

By tonyrosado |

I had the Mahi Mahi. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Unfortunately, the vegetables were undercooked making them tough to cut. My wife had the spaghetti which was decent- but she thought Olive Garden's meatballs are better. It did not come with a salad, which for the price- I feel it should have. If you are planning to go- get the tix4tonight.com Vegas Meal Card to get 50% off entrees and seafood. The pasta dishes are not included in the deal- but are relatively reasonably priced.

Excellent Italian food

By lotsohobbies |

Excellent Italian food, large portions, reasonable prices. Gnocchi was delicious. Everyone in our party was pleased. pleasedthchoice

Breakfast visit

By Megan D |

Stopped here for breakfast while staying at the palazzo. Nice menu choices and decent prices for Vegas. Nice staff and food was good. No frills but nice place. Would return

Great little place in the Venetian casino

By Martina Stella |

My husband and I had a very nice dinner at Casanova the other night. I ordered lamb and he ordered swordfish. Both dishes were tasty and we enjoyed them. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating to our needs. The prices are relatively low compare to other restaurants at the Venetian casino.

Our FAVORITE breakfast stop in Las Vegas!

By Klondike's Mom |

When staying in Venetian in April we stumbled across this restaurant for breakfast and it was so good we returned the next day! My husband loves their crepes and I love the omelettes! We like it so much we return just for breakfast on a short 2 night trip on our way to a wedding in Oregon even though we stayed across the street, well worth the short jaunt. It's not only good but has a great ambiance! The prices were incredible for all you got. This will be a regular breakfast stop every trip to Las Vegas in the future.

Tasty food

By calgal20 |

We went there with my three teenagers. The service was exceptional and the pasta was one of the best we had. The pizza and Caesar salad were great too. The prices were reasonable and overall I would go back there again

Delicious

By Sarah H |

Food here was tasty and the service was great. We wanted to escape the huge portions of most Vegas restaurants. We found this location served a portion that was just enough without food waste. Definitely recommend if you want Italian food.

Stopped after show

By travelingtime |

We had a party of 6 and had reservations after a show. Bought the discounted meal through Tix4Tonight. I then made the reservations on Open Table and didn't get my points. Didn't know the location of restaurant and had a hard time finding it. Not a large restaurant but it was cozy. Girl at front didn't seem real excited to be there. Half laying on the podium just watching people. She had someone else take us to our table. Service was good but food was just average. Nothing special to write about. Since we had the discounted meal ticket we had a limited menu to chose from, which was fine. We had salmon, chicken parmesan, shrimp scampi, and a steak. We didn't have an appetizer but they did bring out warm bread while we waited for our meal. Since it is an Italian restaurant it would be nice if they served oil and Parmesan cheese along with the bread.

Delivery took twice as long and food was barely warm

By Charles S |

It's hard to give an objective rating on taste when to food took twice as long to receive and it was like eating 1 day old pizza because it was barely warm. Of course I called but what was there to do? I was hungry so I spent $30+ for a bad meal.

Good food and drinks.

By Jane B |

We ate here our first night in town, the food and the margaritas were great and we had good service. Everyone really liked their meal.

Just ok - not impressed

By Jody M |

Food & service we’re just mediocre- not bad, not good. They did have gluten free pasta. Would not recommend-keep looking

Great breakfast

By Bdelatorre |

Had breakfast here. Egg white omelette was excellent. Son had the banana crepes, that were amazing! We’ll be back tomorrow.

Mediterranean sea food at its best

By PlanetAsia |

Simple menu offering Mediterranean sea food. Ample seating for large groups. Walking by the Venetian Grand Canal Shoppes one cannot miss this restaurant. The food was tasty and the price is OK as per Venetian standards. We ordered the soup of the day followed by roasted potatoes all of which were great. The main course included a Pasta which was yummy. Its a nice place to relax and have a nice chat in the calm ambience.

Nice but nothing special

By Martin I |

We managed to get in fairly quickly and were sat just on the outside of the restaurant so we could see main Grand Canal area. The waiters were fine, service was fairly quick, the food was good but nothing special. Price was expensive compared to non Vegas restaurants but we'd come to expect that.

Seafood Linguine

By Jenniferann58 |

We both had the Seafood Linguine and it was really good. Wine was a bit expensive but the Cocktails were good. Great service.

Belisimo-Not

By Louise H |

This restaurant is in the the food hall in the Venetian. Whilst it is layed out all very nice, the girl at front of house was too busy on her phone to greet - not a good impression. The menu has a varied choice apart from the wine list having no Rose. I had the chicken fetticine which was tasty but the chicken was hard and I think it had been twice Cooked? The meals seemed to be coming out rather quickly?

Very Good!

By kytravellady |

Of the restaurants we went to on our trip this was my favorite food was excellent and so was the service. It is pricey but worth it.

good food, delayed service

By zracoon |

Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal here. The bread is good (but you have to ask for oil and balsamic). Appetizer portions are small, entrees are good. Only complaint was service was very long. We were going to try dessert but it took so long to take our order we skipped.

Tasty food and great service

By Anne |

We dropped by this little gem after walking for hours, looking for a good Italian restaurant on a crowded Saturday night in Vegas. We actually went to this restaurant only because we were starving and they had tables available, but it was the best choice ever. We got awesome pizza and pasta and super-quick service from the attentive waiters. Loved the food.

Good food. Good service

By Lauren L |

First off, when you buy show tickets at one of the Tickets4tonight kiosks, you get a discount card that gives 50% off entrees and seafood! I didn’t realize that until after I made reservations to eat here, and boy was I happy! The menu is very interesting. An odd mix of Italian with a Greek accent. I had the eggplant mousakka, which was really eggplant parmigiana with extra ricotta. It was so yummy, I almost didn’t want tot share with my husband. He ordered the veal ossobucco which coukd have been slightly more tender but was really good none the less. The couple at the next table had the lobster tail over pasta which looked very good too. Service was very attentive. You will either love or hate the atmosphere. You are sitting in a mall, but they make it as intimate as possible. I really liked it

Worst dining experience

By Corina B |

Super crowded, our party of 8 was ignored and ended up with 2 or 3 servers. They couldn't wait for our table for more guests. Food was average, but nicely presented. None of us had a good experience that night.

Great food

By Karl P |

Went here for dinner on Friday evening. Quiet when we were here at 19:00. Good variety on the menu. My wife had the swordfish, it was delicious, I tried it also. I went for the rib eye,, very tasty. Only complaint although it is personal preference the veg was too aldente The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing too much to ask. We will be back.

We met there last night for a Birthday

By JeffandDiane89 |

We met there last night for a birthday party. Carmelo helped us pick out a great wine and the service wS excellent. We had the octopus which is one of the best in town. The bran ink was crispy and fresh and we will definitely be back. Great hidden gem hidden in a casino.

Small restaurant with big flavors

By Thomas W |

I had the baked sea bass (branzini) and my wife had the Linguine with clams and were were both very happy. Located in food court area but nice inside. Very attentive service.

Very authentic

By Katetherat |

Had a fantastic supper here. Nice atmosphere and setting. Friendly, efficient staff. Excellent lasagne and good wines by the glass.

Spectacular food just like the old country 👍

By Laura T |

Extraordinary Italian Cousine!!! The Greek fusilli was exalent and the cioppino delicious 😋 Casanova is a must!!!

Birthday dinner

By TeacherAndie |

Very cute place in the Venetian. Went there for a good friend's birthday. Omar and Caroline gave us exceptional service. The food was hot and delicious and was served quickly. We enjoyed people watching as we sipped Sangria and wine. Definitely worth a try especially if you purchase a voucher from the half price ticket place.

You can’t go wrong!!

By Pra M |

Nice on tap, great cocktails... (Tip: try Michelada). Finger food is awesome... service really welcoming & caring... they know that it’s a place tp talk, catch-up, wait before dinner at their restaurant.... or just a tapas time... $$$... but all places here are same Venetianized for their price:-)

Rude, unfriendly, didn’t honor reservations

By AsaadAlnajjar |

Unfriendly manager and hostess, we had a breakfast reservation just now today 12/24/2019 for 11:15am and we were expecting a nice table with service instead we were told restaurant is closed till noon. Used to be a great place but now it’s down the toilet. I recommend the other friendly restaurants in the area

Dinner at Casanova

By Thomas R |

Had a great meal here Monday night! Saganaki (fried cheese) was excellent. Beef carpaccio quite good also. The lobster ravioli was rich and satisfying. The coippino had just the right amount of spice. Overall the quality of the food and service was outstanding.

Fabulous find in the Venetian!

By sunsets92 |

We popped in for an early dinner and both had an amazing fettuccine entree for a very reasonable price. The service was impeccable as well. Will definitely return before our trip is over!

Casa NO

By Travel the World |

This restaurant is located inside the Venetian Hotel. The noise level was very high, the waiter was not friendly, and the food was just OK. I ordered the salmon which I thought was good but my husband ordered the New York steak and it was really bad. You will have so many wonderful restaurant options at this Hotel and shopping area. I would recommend that you don’t stop here.

Best Italian

By Danielle W |

Very good we loved the food a lot. Located int he Venetion. Portions are huge. MUST TRY when in VEGAS. The feel is as if you were in Italy.

Food is not all that

By Sammylt |

We went this evening to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. We choose this restaurant due to being in The Venetian so expected to be off a high standard. My husband had a Stella that was completely flat so they poured into another glass, still no better. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio, this was the worst glass of Pinot I have ever had. I couldn’t drink this & left it, Pinot is my usual drink. For starters we ordered prawn cocktail, this was really nice. For mains we both ordered steak, I had a fillet with pepper sauce & my husband ribeye with a blue cheese sauce. The steaks were served with fries at our request. The chips were freezer chips over cooked & full of grease. I ate 1 chip so was left with my steak. The steak was over cooked & the sauces were dreadful. The service provided was good apart from no acknowledgement about my dissatisfaction. We paid the check & left, we paid the service charge which annoyed me as the food was awful. We wasn’t sure if you were expected to pay & couldn’t be bothered to be honest as on holiday. You probably think why do review whilst on holiday but I would hate anyone else to be disappointed when there are a lot of nice restaurants to choose from.

Authentic Italian inside the Venetian

By Marina j |

An Italian restaurant inside the Venetian, with a manager who is from Italy?! I had high expectations, and they were exceeded on all accounts for this out-of-the-way gem among the shops along the canal! The restaurant ambience was great, made for a date-night to remember. We went with a 5 course dinner, and started with the Beef Carpaccio appetizer which was so delicious, served with a thin Parmesan slice and wonderful capers. The seafood salad was next, and the highlight of the meal for me, I never had such delicious and tender octopus and other seafood! For the pasta dish I had the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina, and it was divine. Very apparent the gnocchi was handmade, and it was as delicious as any that I've had in Italy. I had the Filet Au Poivre and my husband had the Lamb Chop Scottadito for the main course and both were cooked to perfection. This was my husbands favorite dish, and he said it was one of the top steaks he ever had. For dessert we had the classic Profiterole which lived up to the lofty expectations set by the preceding courses. The service throughout was impeccable, and the sommelier provided great pairings based on on wine preferences. All of this for much less than most fine-dining establishments on the strip.....if you want authentic Italian, go to Casanova tonight!

Great Italian food

By Chris B |

It s small and nice restaurant located in the Venetian-Palazzo Shoppes. Great typical Italian food. All is good quality: meat, seafood, fish, etc. Good flavors, great quality, nice service. I loved the coffee and ice cream dessert and the spicy penne pasta. Price is reasonable considering where you are.

PLEASANT EXPERIENCE

By Sharon Legaspi |

We came here for my b-day celebration and this restaurant met my expectations. The service was good, fast and the staff are friendly. The food was very well presented though it's a bit pricey. The restaurant is definitely worth it for the special occasion.

Good breakfast — goodbprice

By chuckbianco |

We all enjoyed a quick and satisfying breakfast at this seafood restaurant on the Grand Canal atttached to the Venetian. Wait staff was friendly and attentive and food was served hot. Eggs Benedict and an omelette cost $36 with tip.

Varied food

By gaerielsky |

Not just Italian. Many Greek dishes too. I had chicken souvlaki and it was delicious. Would recommend for any Mediterranean dish you love.

Terrific Food and Service

By Moonrock1962 |

We brunched here after some exploring of the Grand Canal shops area. Conveniently located in the shopping area and with a nice ambience. The breakfast menu was really nice. My wife had steak and eggs and I had the European pancake. We were served quickly and our food was really tasty. Made an ideal brunch. I also had a bottomless cup of coffee. You might expect with a great ambience, location, service, and food this would be expensive but surprisingly it was quite low cost which was also nice. Recommended.

Nice find, Flavorful Italian!

By Kris N |

Had an early dinner and was pleasantly surprised. We stopped here because it was recommended by the tix4tobight people. Miguel was our server and he was excellent. Answered several questions for us. Drinks were brought quickly and were kept full. I had the Lobster pasta.. it was very good. A good sized split tail and 4 large shrimp. My wife had the scallop and shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and raved about it. Not a huge place and it is open to the shops in the Venetian, so it is a little loud.

Great Italian Surprise in Vegas!

By Lizzie S |

We were just in Vegas and chose to eat at an Italian restaurant in the Venetian. We were so surprised and pleased to be served some of the best Italian food we have had. That is saying a lot as we have have many great dining experiences in Boston's North end. The balance of the sauces in our Chicken Parmesan and Veal Marsala were masterfully created. There was no overpowering garlic or basil flavors but a true combining of seasonings.

Excellent Service, Great Food

By Greg B |

We hummed and Hawed about where to eat. This was an excellent choice. The food was very good, the service was excellent and the host/manager took care of us. The cioppino was very good.

Delicious meals, excellent service yet cost is reasonable.

By Quang D |

We felt like some Italian food, specifically pasta. Last couple restaurants ranked 4+ stars and $$$ unfortunately we did not care for. The food at Casanova was just delicious, service was very pleasant and cost was reasonable. Sometime, it is good to have a real meal than a fancy look. BTW, the restaurant is right in the Venetian shops.

Best Restaurant In Las Vegas

Excellent service. They easily handled a large group of 20+. Excellent Italian food choices. With great wine choices...

Very good dinner

By Katherine P |

Made reservations on open table so our table was ready as soon as we got there. Restaurant is located in the Canal shops of the Venetian and not too far from the parking structure. It’s a very small, intimate restaurant. Service was very good and food was promptly served and tasted excellent. Also portions were a nice size and prices decent. Started with the fritto misto, came with calamari, shrimp, asparagus and artichokes. Cooked perfectly, nice crunch and light. The pasta was cooked perfectly in all our dishes. I ordered the lobster supreme and the lobster portions were a good size. Get some red chili flakes to add some heat. The fettuccine Casanova and it was light and creamy and who doesn’t love bacon. Linguine mare nostrum also had a good amount of seafood. They don’t have a kids menu or kids portions but they have spaghetti and pizza as options which you can’t go wrong.

Yummy!

By blair2018 |

My daughter and I stopped by for a mommy and me breakfast one day during our Vegas trip. It's a small and cozy restaurant, so it gets kinda full at certain times. When we stopped by the previous day most tables were full except for a couple on the very edge outside where pedestrian traffic is non stop. I didn't want to rub elbows with passerbys while we dined so we just left and chose to check it out the next day. I'm very glad we did because it was a fun breakfast date with my girl. The waiters are all nice and ours was prompt with drinks and food service. I think he may have been the manager or maybe owner because he was not in a uniform and he was overly dedicated and enthusiastic during our interactions. We ordered omelets and crepes, one Nutella and banana crepe and the other ham and cheese And everything was delicious. I only tried my Nutella and banana but my daughter confirmed evth was very tasty and fresh even on her side of the table lol. The portions were kinda big for the crepes but that's perfect for the people who want to share and try a gbit of evth in a place like this. We enjoyed our breakfast and the prices are very reasonable for being in the middle of the Venetian. Less than $44 for breakfast for 2( or really 3 because we ordered 3 plates to share) plus drinks it was a wonderful deal. We will need to come back for lunch or dinner for sure. Can't wait!!

Nothing bad, nothing spectacular

By SH |

A group of five ate here for dinner on a Saturday night. Between us we ordered the garden salad, gnocchi, spaghetti and meatballs, and angel hair pasta with garlic, tomato, and basil (with and without shrimp). All of it was fine, and each dish was under $20, but: the salad was uninspired, the tomato sauce was lacking real flavor, and the meatballs tasted like any mid-level restaurant would produce. Waiter was initially attentive, though water refills were hard to come by. As in the title, nothing bad, nothing spectacular.

Good Eats

By Carol H |

Food was great, but service was a bit slow. I had to send my meal back the first time, but it was done perfectly the second time.

Incredible

By JonesS19 |

We visited here our first day in Vegas for breakfast as we had tried it when we stayed in the Venetian previously and it is still a top place for breakfast! The combo on the menu is such good value and the portions are very substantial. The staff aren't as helpful or friendly as some of the other places in Vegas but that doesn't detract from the great food. A very varied selection on the menu it's hard to decide what to order.

Distinctly average

By Henry A |

Good table and welcome. Average food.... Not bad but not amazing. Mediocre service. Nobody asked us if we would like a second drink which was annoying . We were asked how the food tasted 1 minute into the meal. Then we got the bill. 18% service charge added. "because we were a party of six" (me, wife and my four kids). I was pretty annoyed at being blatantly gouged particularly when the service was limited to carrying out 6 plates and six drinks. Thus I award 3 stars because their interest is your money, not good service

A surprisingly great find in Vegas

By JeffandDiane89 |

This was a surprisingly great find hidden between two casinos. The attention to detail in the preparations were apparent from the salad through dessert. I am local and enjoy the seafood and the wine recommendations from Carmelo. One of my top restaurants I recommend in Vegas

Noisy

By travelinstead |

We dined here for dinner before attending Mystere, we were seated at one of the exterior seats as they had a wedding in the main part. Basically like sitting in a mall and paying top dollar for your steak. No ambiance, poor service, I had the New York strip, it was large but under cooked. My wife had the Chicken Parm, and she liked it. Probably wouldn't return.

Pleasant Surprise!

By HindaSweet |

It was starting to get late and we wanted to grab some dinner. Not being familiar with the many places to eat at the Venetian, we ended up at CasaNova. First they brought out a bread basket and we were blow away. The bread, which they make on site, is phenomenal. The best basket of bread I've been served in North America. My husband ordered the Branzino and loved it. I have a feeling it was actually tilapia, but that's another story. The flavor was great and the olives and capers in the dish were excellent. The service was great and it seems like they take a lot of pride in their product at this restaurant. If we return to the Venetian, we will return to Casanova.

Best omelette

By LASVEGAS20152015 |

This small restaurant in Venetian is a gem. Omelette was delicious went back next day. Had cheesy sausage omelette. French toast and everything was delicious

Lovely food

By Anya B |

We found this when staying in The Venetian hotel. We enjoyed our meals ( bolognese and spaghetti with meatballs) and our waiter was very kind. Very lovely authentic meal.

Good Food

By Neish |

We stopped here to grab a dinner before the Human Nature show (which was amazing), anyway..... We had a voucher bought from the ticket vendor, discounts in many restaurants and glad we gave it a go. The pasta's were from $17.00 very reasonable and the entrees normal prices for Vegas restaurants. I had the old favourite spaghetti bolognese & my husband the NZ lamb cutlets. Both dishes were excellent. Tasty and reasonable serves. Freddy our waiter was wonderful. The only thing I think that would have made it better is candles on the tables at dinner. That would really make it even more inviting.

Ok Italian restaurant

By ALMD |

Ok Italian restaurant, nothing extraordinary. Very dark like all the restaurants at the Venetian. Service is normal.

Very enjoyable!

By Alice S |

We wanted a light lunch and enjoyed the salads. My husband got the Greek salad with chicken, and I got the spinach salad with chicken both of which were good. We got complimentary bread which was perfect with the salad. It was nice dining and watching the people stroll by.

Disappointed

By Elizabeth S |

I had osso bucco and it was dry and tasteless. The service was good. The tables are close together. Wine choice was good.

Bad Italian Restaurant @ Venetian Hotel

By jtat |

I had a feeling the moment we sat down and were brought glasses of lukewarm water which did not contain ice it would not turn out too nice. My gut feeling didn't disappoint. The waiter brought menus w/the water, but no bread. Tables to our left & right which arrived later received bread. We ordered caesar salads, which consisted of non crisp iceberg lettuce pieces with what appeared to be old croutons. Our rigatoni w/meat sause dish was super salty. The seafood pasta dish was the ordinary. Our salads dishes were not cleared for at least 20 minutes after were done. Waiter was very slow and non attentive. Of all the restaurants to choose, we chose the worst @ Venetian.

Fabulous food

By Harriet Lozano |

Casanova restaurant is in the Venetian Hotel and it is great. It’s not on the menu but the Penne a la vodka sauce is the best anywhere I have had it. Also the Caesar salad is to die for. Go and you’ll love it!!

Great find

By Simon C |

If you find yourself looking for a reasonably priced Italian restaurant, try this one. The Lasagne at $18 was excellent value and well cooked. The staff were very attentive if not a little keen, starting to clear the dishes before one of my party had not finished eating. When asked him to exit, he appeared to be confuse by the request. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Very disappointing for Las Vegas

By elliot w |

We were attending a trade show and needed a last minute reservation for 8 people on a Sunday night. I should have known this would be disappointing when at 7pm the restaurant was empty. The waiter shows up 10 minutes after we were seated to take drink orders and the drinks were lousy. My cousin went up to their bar same owner across the walkway in the Venetian orders 6 drinks brings them back and they were perfect. I ordered a frito mists appetizer and it never showed up so when he took dinner orders I asked again for that as my dinner. When the meals arrived staggered 10min apart my friti misto arrives burned and beyond crispy. At this point I was starved and would eat anything. There’s are so many better choices even in n out burger beats this place. Avoid it!

Nice lunch

By pavakeal |

The lunchtime sandwiches were very good and the flat bread salmon and cheese tasty and large. Service was friendly and efficient with everything delivered hot and correct. Ambience quite good as it is at the beginning of the food court area.

Olive Garden-Esque

By Nora |

Caprese salad had horrible tomato, fresh red peppers instead of roasted red pepper, and tasteless mozzarella. The cheese on the chicken parm - which we were told is their most popular dish - made it appear as if it was re-heated instead of cooked fresh and was not hot, and the pasta was over-cooked. Service was fine.

Not for breakfast

By FunintheOCsun |

We had breakfast here because it was the first place we saw while walking around. MISTAKE... It may have good dinner, I don’t know. But anyone can make eggs and no kidding they served frozen, processed triangle hash browns and the driest, thin toast ever. My husband had French toast and said “eh, it’s okay”. HINT: Just go somewhere else for breakfast.

Very poor lunch!

By FinanceDad |

So, I searched out Casanova (located in the forum shops) as I had heard it was a good italian restaurant that served amazing carpaccio. I had a reservation for 11:30am as I had been told by the hostess (by phone) that it was the earliest seating for lunch. When I arrived, the hostess (who acted like a bit ditsy), said lunch wouldn’t be served until 11:45 am. OK. I will come back. I came back at 11:45am and she showed me to a table outside the restaurant. I asked if I could please sit inside. Somewhat annoyed, she said OK. Mind you, the restaurant was completely empty! I was served water and then waited 5 min for a menu. Really??? Meanwhile, some waiters were talking with someone (the manager?) and didn’t seem to know I was even there. At Noon, disgusted, I was ready to leave when a waiter came over to take my order. The Carpaccio was sad looking and tasteless. I should have taken a photo - it was a small amount of carpaccio ($14.95!) and a lot of greens. Thankfully I ordered wild mushroom Ravioli ($17.95) - see photo. It tasted OK but I had finished it in 6 bites. I had to eat more bread and butter to feel satisfied. I felt the entire lunch was a ripoff vis-a-vis service, food, and price. The attitude I sensed was “you should be honored to dine in our fine establishment.” I finished at 12:30pm and took a photo of how packed this restaurant was on a Friday at lunch. Oh wait, practically nobody there! I will not be returning.

Fantastic breakfast.

By Bert-ErnieAdventures |

Great value, excellent service, good choice and well presented. Located near to the indoor canal. Would definitely return.

Upscale Dining at a Good Price

By Cheri M |

Located by the Food Court on the 2nd floor in the Grand Canal Shops in the Venetian. Our server Ivan was superb. His suggestions were solid and he was there as you needed him but not overly so. Perfect. I had Fettucini Casanova and my husband had Chicken Parmesan. Both were delicious! We started our meal with a bread basket - I don't usually give them much attention but this was indeed worth sampling. We had Saganaki for a starter and while it wasn't exactly what I expected, it was delicious all the same with an Ouso sauce that I have never tried before. All is all - a great experience! Thank you Ivan!

False advertising- pricing on web site lower than actual menu

By Rehsa H |

Food was lovely - however on the website both the menu and pricing is different, about $5 a dish lower on the website as of today- they are aware too when you tell them this, so false advertising.

Great food!

By Steve L |

We purchased the $5 Tix for tonight coupon to get 50% off our meals. Definitely worth it and the food is great!!

This was a hidden gem!

By Laketa B |

This spot was soo good, exceptional service and great ambiance. Located in the Venetian hotel I Las Vegas,Best steak!!

Never again

By Alessio C |

One thing. I ate fish in this resturant and threw up all night. Thank you. The biggest problem is: you can't serve fish if you can't cook it or if you can't store it in the right way. Never again.

Overpriced Italian

By Joelle D |

My husband and I enjoyed the experience at the restaurant, the servers were phenomenal. I was not impressed with the signature Fettuccini Casanova. My husband really enjoyed his steak. Overall, not worth the price we paid for dinner.

Delish!!

By Diane K |

True Italian delites. Large portions and excellent service. Thank you Miguel! A little hard to find in the Grand Canal shoppes and hallways but worth it. Value for the $$

Not the nicest place to have breakfast

By Nomad770154 |

Food was satisfactory but the staff weren't the most welcoming. Upon receiving my bill i noticed an extra $4 had been added, After asking what the $4 was for they informed us that it was for the extra shot of coffee in my cappucino which was only warm, this totalled my coffee to $10USD plus taxes! Which I have not been charged anywhere in my 2 weeks of travelling in he US .

Pleasant surprise

By Bart M |

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise among the many casino based restaurants. We were here for lunch only and enjoyed the humus appetizer and the seafood salad. All prepared with fresh materials and some very good fresh bread to go along. The service was very friendly.

Good Food & Service

By Shirley M |

We found this restaurant only because we got a discount card (50% off at a number of restaurants) when we purchased tickets for a show. The service and food were very good, my only disappointment is that it's location in the Venetian Canal Shops is essentially at the end of a hallway near 'food court' type establishments. If you are sitting on their 'patio' which we were, the atmosphere is definitely disappointing.

Sounds Italian, but...

By WhoGoesWhereever |

... Mediterranean would be a better description as the menu is basically a mix of Italian and Greek. But that's not a bad thing. My party was in a bit of a hurry as this was a pre-show dinner, so we ordered pita and dip to share while the main courses were cooked. My wild mushroom ravioli was very enjoyable, and its "light marinara sauce" didn't overpower the filling. I would have preferred a couple more ravioli - it was really just a starter sized portion. My companions ordered various dishes, and they were all pleased with their choices. The staff seemed to cope well with several large parties that were dining at the same time as us, but this restaurant packs in the tables so I couldn't recommend it for occasions where dining is the focus of the evening (ie, it's not the place for a tête-à-tête or a romantic rendezvous). But you do get good food at reasonable prices (given the location), so I'd happily return.

Okay

By tmb110 |

I was really looking forward to having a meal at this restaurant. Overall, it was just okay. The food was nothing that impressive. The salad's dressing was the best thing I had there - I would have gotten a larger salad with that dressing if I knew it would be the best thing I ate there. The wait staff was okay - not super friendly or welcoming. The noise level is really high, even if you sit "inside," away from the crowded walkways.

Best ever!

By Gersi S |

Food and service was the best I have ever been in. There you can find the best mediterrian food on all the Venitian.

Could do better

By steevo866 |

We dined here for our evening meal as we was in the Venetian and had been here for dinner a few years ago.. My how this has changed. The food whilst vast in its quantity, the same can not be said for the quality. The fries were not crispy and the lasagna was a mushy mess. We asked for dessert menu but the waiter brought the bill.. Sort of reflects the poor service we received, staff disinterested and not really that helpful. Better places to dine on strip.

Solid Italian Cuisine

By Bill |

Aside from a waiter who initially appeared to be a bit abrupt, the experience overall was nice. I did the Chicken Parm and the girlfriend went with the Macaroni and Cheese. Both were well done and the server came around enough to check on us.

Delizioso

By mrice13 |

Its's so good you need to check out the menu then go. Prices are that of an average meal in Vegas and the food is worth every penny. Branzino and lamb chops were had by this diner. Best fish meal I've ever eaten scales down!

Best dining experience to be had in the Venetian complex

By Orygun_Fox |

Excellent staff and service. Best value that we found in the Venetian complex. Quality food. We had a group of 7 and they served us all very well with no complaints from anyone on their entrees. Will eat there again.

Outstanding food, great service

By Howard P |

Great food, outstanding service. Humus was fresh and nutty. Fettucine Casanova was a creamy delight. Everything fresh and delicious.

OK Food, Prices Too High

By Chipperhigh2 |

Had dinner here with other here in Vegas for an Industry Show. The food was OK, nothing special, but the prices were higher then what the food required. Would notbother eating here again.

Eat here!

By Tracy W |

Fantastic food in a nice atmosphere, highly recommended! Miguel and Saul made us feel right at home. We had the ribeye and the cioppino - absolutely delicious and satisfying. Add a beautiful wine list and a decadent tiramisu and you just can’t lose!

Tapas Bar

By Marie A |

Right across the hall from Casanova Restaurant is the Casanova Tapas Bar. Food comes from the restaurant and was high quality. We enjoyed a pepperoni focaccia bread which was cut into six pieces. Also we loved the flash fried calamari with vegetables. It’s Vegas so I think the food was less expensive than the drinks. Fun to people-watch from here too. Service was attentive. We asked for ice-water w our drinks and it was gladly served.

Great dinner spot

By Elizabeth H |

I had one of the best spaghetti carbonara I have ever had while I was at Casanova. The food was fresh, hot and service was quick. They have a nice wine menu and cocktails in addition to beers. I would go back for sure!

Horrible experience , lousy food

By Passport791782 |

Let's start with the front hostess.. we had a reservation for 2 and requested a front outside table. Upon arriving, we saw a frontside table open , but the hostess said it was reserved for 4 patrons only . She then led us to a extremely small table for 2 squeezed in the back. Shortly after we were seated, the hostess seated 2 guests in the table she had just refused us. We ordered and our food was brought out before I could even have sip of my beer. No kidding , we ordered drinks and our dinners were out right after our drinks were put on the table. Our waiter then asked us if we wanted cheese on the food and he got more on the table than on our meal. It was like he was in a hurry . Our food was awful. I had spaghetti and meat balls , the sauce was very acidic but tasteless. My wife had pasta casanova and the tomatoes were over cooked and the mushrooms were undercooked plus most dinner was warm not hot. Then our waiter came and put the check on the table and left. The restaurant was not really crowded ,but were rushed into leaving. Seriously, we were at the restaurant for 22 minutes TOTAL ! With so many great places to eat at theVenetain, do your a favor and avoid this one.

Nothing exceptional in what I ate

By Seb B |

I wasn't too hungry, so I ate a tomato/mozza which was okay, nothing more, because it was cow mozza, not buffala. I also had a cheesecake which was also decent. The bill was a bit high for what I ate. In short, not bad, but I expected better.

Lunch

By Joan P |

Great location, phenom ambiance, food was amazing! Great seafood salad with calamari, shrimp and scallops!! Can't wait to head back!

Not best breakfast ever, but good

By C&BM |

Came here for breakfast, and while the food was not phenomenal it was a great price for what we got. The staff were fantastic. I’d absolutely recommend it for breakfast.

Good but average

By LyndaB24 |

Food was good - but average. Service good. Expensive. Atmosphere average. Food and wine expensive. Seating a bit noisy.

Nice Place....

The food here is very very good! The waiter was kind and the service was fast! The lasagna was exceptional as was my Fiance's salmon!

Date night

By Fatima D |

This is the second time I visit this place. I'm a local and don't really eat at casinos. But this place is the exception they have really good food and good service. I ordered a ceasar salad and mushroom ravioli. They were both very yummy, very tasty full of flavor. I would recomend this place.

Casanova restaurant las vegas

By Dimitris K |

We had a business dinner at casanova restaurant in the Venetian the food was great Our server Vasilis recommended us to do a family style dinner like they used to do in Europe. The stuff was very professional and well organized.

Great Bolognese

By DevWatson |

I stopped in for a late lunch during the AWS conference. I had the Rigatoni Alla Bolgnese - it was fantastic. And although the restaurant was quite busy, the waitstaff were very attentive.

Good--- great----Amazing!

Needed a venue for 17 people for our annual user conference--- Reservation was quick online and even easier when it went from 8 to 17 with a phone call. Food and service were amazing.

Bustling Italian in the Grand Canal Shoppes

By AppMyHome |

We were happy to get a spot at Casanova during CES as a lot of the restaurants in Venetian were packed. They were really friendly to two weary trade show goers and after only a few minutes we got a nice seat. The place was packed with a lively, festive atmosphere. It does feel like a real Italian place. Our meals were good - pretty standard Italian fare. I had the linguini with clams, solid, nice serving of fresh clams. The bread was a little weak for an Italian place but we still enjoyed it. Service was rushed, but still friendly and attentive. It would be nice to come back some time when it is a little more relaxed.

The Venetian’s lover-named eatery is hard not to enjoy

By S. James Wegg |

Well-located amongst the Grand Canal Shoppes, it was truly love at first bite (accompanied by an appropriately fruity and cool glass of Sauvignon Blanc) once the crab cakes arrived: just crisp enough, with a bed of fresh greens complementing the delectable texture and taste. For the main, the choice of Chicken Parmigiana was another hit: the meat being tender and juicy, a generous amount of cheese and just spicy enough. The bonus was its arrival exactly on time--so rare these days. What better way to celebrate that fact than with a glass of palate-friendly Pinot Noir. Highly recommended.

We had a very nice dinner

By stitcher1951 |

We had a very nice dinner at Casanova. We started with a chocolate martini and a vanilla sky cocktail. They were very good. The price at $14 was a little expensive Next they brought slightly warm Italian bread it was good but the butter was cold and hard and impossible to spread. I had a Caesar salad and it was the best I’ve had. Not too much garlic and not drowning in dressing! Our two entrees were Veal scallopini Madera and Lobster ravioli. Both were good. The ravioli didnt seem like a very big portion but it turned out to be more than enough Service was excellent here! Our server was Freddy and he was very friendly and efficient We will return here next time in Vegas

Incredible Food & Service

By BayouBear |

It was our last night in Las Vegas and we wanted something a bit more special, we found that at Cassanova's. We experienced over the top service & didn't feel rushed during our meal. We asked to slip a salad and they were nice enough to do that and keep the bread and beverages coming.

A Wonderful Meal at Casanova

By MinnieM1928 |

We hadn't booked or decided where to go for dinner but ended up at Casanova, an Italian restaurant inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian, which we saw when walking around. We had a choice of tables for seating as it wasn't busy. We chose the hummus platter to start and then the Lamb chops which we both ordered, and oh wow, such a great meal, the Lamb chops were wonderful, perfectly cooked and served with rice, this ended up being a lovely evening.

Average italian food in Vegas

By zsofiaherendi |

The food - especially the pasta- was good the only thing that made me disappointed is the wine. I wanted to drink a delicious wine - I chose cabernet sauvignon-as I odered ravioli. But the wine was terrible and one glass was like $14..but the atmosphere, the food was good. Also when we asked what kind of coffee they have the waiter hesitated he couldn't answer and he needed to check. We were hoping a good coffee from an Italian place. Comparing to americanos which is the only type of coffee you can drink here, it was much better.

Smaller, quieter restaurant that is perfect for Dinner

By Kirmack |

We were wanting a restaurant that would be easy for a large group to get into and provide atmosphere for every one to talk without the noise of some of the larger restaurants. Casanova was perfect for that. We were surprised with how good the food was. Delicious Pizza and pasta but the steaks were also amazing. You can get a great steak here without paying the $50-$65 price that so many steak houses charge in Las Vegas. The service was great and our waiter did a great job recommending entrees as well as drinks for everyone. This was a great find for all of us and we will be back when we are wanting good Italian food while in Las Vegas.

Disappointing all round

By Woodpecker-47 |

Family & friends group (8 of us) ate late breakfast at changeover time (11.40) and place was empty. Food arrived promptly and was reasonably priced but my eggs benny muffin wasn't toasted and eggs almost hard boiled. Pancakes were small and other meals were generally greasy. Server didn't reappear to check on us after serving until he tried to take away plate form one of our group who was still eating. We weren't offered free coffee refills or asked if we wanted any more drinks. Suppose as they were getting the high compulsory service charge anyway it didn't matter how we were treated.

Great service and Italian Food.

By Peter17OZ |

Recommended by employee of casino. Very authentic Italian restaurant and wonderful service from start to finish. Ice water was as we sat down and order taken in ample time. Caesar salad was free and well priced. Rest of our group had veal or pasta dishes and no complaints regarding sizes or taste. Some were concerned about some of the prices for meals but I felt it was very reasonable, particularly for quality Italian. Enjoyed the food and staff were excellent.

Worst manager ever!!!!!!!!!

By Carlos C |

When we order a plate that we didn’t eat because the steak was very burned and it tasted very bad and we sent it back twice and at the moment to pay, the manager charged us a plate that we didn’t take and he threatened us to call the police. Do not go NEVER EVER.

WORST FOOD AND SERVICE

By traciparks93 |

My family and I ordered cheese pizza and mild wings from this place for delivery. It took an hour before we decided to call them to see how long before food was delivered. They told my husband the girl at pizzeria gave the driver the wrong address so it would be about another hour. I spoke with the manager and cancelled the order because I already knew it would be cold and old. So we ordered the same things from a different pizza place. That manager never spoke to his delivery guy. Can you believe they delivered us that food they made 2 hours ago. Yes we paid for it and started eating it because we thought it was the second pizza place we ordered from. When i spoke to the same manager for the second time he said theres nothing he could do because my 2 yr and 3 yr old already ate some of the food. WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER PENNY HERE!

A new wonderful restaurant inside The Venetian

By sandiablonde |

We ate here our second night after strolling by and looking at the menu. Unfortunately, not all the items listed on the menu were actually available because of COVID. However, the service was first rate and the food was very good. Started with the Casanova platter and it was delicious. I had the Linguine Mare Nostrum and it was excellent. Big portion. My wife had the Alba Flatbread and it was huge. It would have been enough for the both of us to eat. It was basically a pizza and it was very good. Prices were some of the most reasonable on our entire trip and they have a very nice wine selection. I had a Chianti that worked very well with the meal. Highly recommended.

Dinner

By Fernanda F |

Rude manager. We made an reservation for 50 people. 12 people didn’t come in, staying at the same restaurant bar eaton and drinking. The manager threatened us, complained...the restaurant had tables available but he was saying we were making him lose money once our table was not full. Very bad treatment to clients. Never go back.

Awful Service

By Andrea T |

My family sat at the bar to watch the football game. My husband was inquiring about one type of vodka for a shot which they did not have. Totally fine. But the lady said that if we didn't like their service we can leave. I'm not sure where they got that idea. We've tipped the two ladies more than $40. Service and drinks were good. Honestly not friendly service ladies if that is the attitude they have. Would not recommend.

Not the best Italian

By LittleBoeddha |

We were a party of 6 and we had Pasta and Pizza so nothing seriously difficult if you are an Italian restaurant. The food itself was “ok” a 3 out of 5. But it came to our tables looking like it was coming out of the microwave. Not saying it did. But that’s what it looked like. The Pizza was small and really I have had better. The service was fine. Nothing to complain there.

While in Vegas for our anniversary we wanted to have dinner at a nice place. All of the other high-end restaurants had lines/wait times but we walked right in this place. It’s small and up near all of the shops so it gives the appearance that it’s not secluded or quiet. They’ve done a nice job of making it work. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant but I couldn’t tell there was anyone else there. Dinner was cooked absolutely perfect! My wife had a steak that she said was the best she’d ever had at a restaurant. My ribeye was delicious and perfectly seasoned. Wine by the glass is not terribly overpriced but has a small selection. Wines by the bottle is 4 pages of selection but they are extremely overpriced. Good news is you can bring your own alcohol in from the casino. Service was good and fast. We enjoyed dinner so much that we went back the next morning for breakfast. The omelettes are enormous! Good luck getting that down in one sitting. This will be our place to go when we get back to Vegas.

Good breakfast

Good choice of breakfast and unlimited coffee. Quick and efficient staff. Scrambled eggs a bit dry for our tastes but rectified by us adding butter. Eggs Benedict delicious.

Great meal every time

If you go to Tix4tnight and book a show you can buy a dining card for $3.00 a person. At The Casanova Restaurant they offer half price entree's with this card. You can get a delicious steak for about $18.00. We go back several times during our stay in Vegas.

Avoid

Arrogant staff , had to ask for an iced water twice , Pepperoni flatbread, soggy base & I was never offered any black pepper- which may have revived it a touch. Overall poor.

So every time we go to Vegas we go and buy a food coupon for the Tix for Less (I think thats what it is called, the yellow and black booths that sell tickets for shows for less). It cost $5 a person, you purchase the coupon and there is a list of restaurants and establishments where you get a discount and Casanova Restaurant was on this list. It’s inside the Venetian. It’s a small restaurant, first time eating there and let me tell you, it was sooo good!!! Such a nice surprise, as when we go to these new restaurants we never know what we will get. It’s an Italian restaurant and it is amazing. I had the barramundi and it was fantastic. Such a nice light coating on the fish and it came with couscous and blistered cherry tomatoes. The entire dish was fantastic. My husband had the ravioli and he loved his dish also. We had the hummus for an appetizer, which for me was nothing to write home about, but the dinner was fantastic. I wish I could tell you about the desserts but I was so full from dinner I had to pass on dessert. If you are in Vegas I would recommend buying one of these food coupons and go to Casanova. We will be going back, with or without the coupon!

Great food, great service

First time in this Italian restaurant. The entrees we ordered arrived piping hot and were delicious. The service was great. We will definitely be back in our next visit to Vegas.
