I ate here and was very satisfied. the food came out in a short space of time. The ambiance was great. The service was excellent and quick. I'd definitely return to this place.

The food is okay but average. The burger I ordered came out faster than at McDonalds, and wasn’t that tasty. Only eat here out of convenience since there is a lack of other restaurants around. Redeeming quality is the halt-hour beer and friendly service

Tasty Meal and delicious cocktail. Clean and friendly staff . Hands down the best hotel restaurant we've visited.

Had a late-night snack (pub food) and a breakfast (off the menu, though they did have a nice looking buffet) during our three night stay at the Miami Airport Courtyard Marriott hotel. Nicely decorated, plenty of good seating and TVs and great food and beverage choices. Place was packed with all the flight delays/cancellations due to the mid-Atlantic snowstorms.

We expected barely mediocre hotel food, but we were hungry & tired, so we ate here out of convenience. SO GLAD we chose to eat here instead of a local, overcrowded casual restaurant! We got FANTASTIC food, drinks and service! It was truly the best casual hotel food we'd ever had, hands down!! My husband had the chicken tropichop. I believe it had rice, grilled chicken breast, black beans, onions, limes, avocado and plantains. I had a Cuban sandwich, which was loaded with delicious roasted pork on fresh Cuban bread and a side of fried yuca. Our son had a burger & fries. Everything was delicious! We had a "side" of onion rings as an appetizer. The appetizer/"side" was HUGE and they were hot & fresh, as was all of our food. They did not at all skimp on their portions! The adults ordered drinks-- beer & mojitos. Delicious and my mojito was definitely made with quality ingredients. The service was great. Very friendly waitress. She was attentive, personable and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. We've already decided that we're staying at this Marriott again for our next trip to Miami and we're definitely eating here!

My review of this property's restaurant is contained in my review of the hotel. Acceptable bar food but GROSSLY understaffed. My waiter was no where to be found when it came time to pay!

We had traveled all day and had a very early morning flight. Since we were staying at the Courtyard, dinner at Champions was perfect. I had salmon and my daughter had a turkey club sandwich. The salmon was very good, especially the mustard sauce. It was overcooked a bit. Fine with me, I really don't like raw or undercooked fish. Others who are more picky about fish may have been disappointed. My daughter's turkey club was excellent. It had a lot of bacon and turkey. Very tasty and filling. Service was quick and efficient. The server was very polite and attentive. It was a very good dinner and we were able to relax.

I ate many times at this place & it was excellent every time. The have the best onion rings I've had in a long time.

It was a typical Champions but had a better vibe than some others but it was still a Champions. The service was attentive and the food--well it was Champions food. This is attached to the Marriot at Miami Airport and is located in the adjacent Courtyard and the service and ambiance was better than the Cane Fire Grill in the Marriott.

A short walk by the pool from the front desk gets you to this great place for a few drinks and some really good food. The atmosphere is conducive to staying and watching whatever sports is on the big screens. You'll have a great time.

Food was acceptable, but the service was terrible. I was very pleased with the pricing as most places located in a hotel overcharge. Champions prices were lower than expected.

I know most hotel restaurants have average food at above-average prices for the most part. However, when I came here for lunch, I was pleasantly surprised to have pretty good food at decent prices (for the Miami area). I had the fish tacos for lunch, and they were generous with the portions of the fish. The fish was also cooked very well: flaky and not overdone (as it often is at many restaurants!). For appetizers, we shared the mozzarella sticks, which were pretty tasty as well. If you're staying here, this is a good place for lunch!

They are remodeling the restaurant but the service and food is good, the portions are huge so with some you can share like the club sandwish. For breakfast and a quick dinner is very good.

An amazing experience! Ewa and Eddie at the bar were fantastic! We will be back as soon as we can 🥰

The food here isn’t bad. It’s passable, but that’s about all I can say about it. For a Cuban sandwich, the flavours were surprisingly lacklustre, and the amount of fillings was way too low for the amount of bread (and there wasn’t much bread). Sweet potato fries were likewise bland and overcooked. Service and atmosphere were good!

Stopped by when we were gusts of the Marriott next door since we wanted a change from Cane Fire. Traditional bar food, nachos, wings, etc with a laid back vibe. Good for picking up a quick dinner, snack or drink.

Standard sports pub type food. Good beer selection and TVs to catch games. A little less expensive than the Full Service Marriott's restaurant.

The food was tasty and the price was in keeping with airport prices. They had Sam Adams', Boston Lager!

If you are staying at the airport Marriott this is a good casual place to eat. The service is good and the burgers are very good. The prices are reasonable. We were also able to see the World series on one of the many TVs.

Cold beer good drinks and good food. This is in the lobby of the Courtyard Marriott I like this better than the main hotel next door. Great service and lots of sports on flat screens. Good for group or by yourself

Not a great ambiance for this sports bar; more like a cheap coffee shop. Menu looked good, with a decent selection of flatbreads, ribs, sandwiches & salads, but the execution was totally boring. And rather expensive for the portions received. Drinks at happy hour (except for the beer) were overpriced. Can't think of any reason to ever come back.

The sports bar is as you would expect , there are multiple TV screens around the whole restaurant. No sound so no off putting if you want to just talk. Friendly waitress service who were very attentive to our needs. The menu is not bad an covers most appetites , from meat eaters to those wanting a little snack or a salad. The food arrived quickly and was very good. Reasonable selection of beers and drinks so should accommodate most peoples tastes. Cost was reasonable and as it’s in the hotel very accessible

Have eaten here many times. This was the worst. Wife ordered chicken quesadilla...ok. I ordered ribs. Were cold along with a dessicated 1/2 cob of corn. Tostones were over cooked. Cole slaw inedible. Onion rings over cooked, but tolerable. Sent ribs back...just nuked or under a broiler...now they were way over cooked! No utensils...were taken with the original plate. And no new ones given. The manager was gracious. The kitchen staff must be responsible. Better luck next time.

Very good Cuban sandwich and drinks right before closing! I checked into the hotel about 30 minutes before this restaurant closed. I sat down and ordered the sandwich. This bottle of Bacardi caught my eye. I prefer Caribbean rum to Puerto Rican rum but this one was really nice.

Ample choice for several budgets. Nice seating with multiple TV screens to follow multiple sport events. The food was of good to excellent quality, portions where on the good side for dinner.

I had dinner and breakfast at this place while staying at the Courtyard hotel where this sports bar is located. The service for dinner was good. I had a burger which was tasty and served exactly as per instructions. For breakfast the service could be better. The lady who was serving coffee and there to take care of the guests walked around without any happy face and looked more like there was months ago she was paid last time. The buffet food was ok but nothing more.

Had a black and blue burger. It was good. The wait just to get menus was ridiculous. We had to go get our own napkins, cutlery, hunt down our drinks. There was more than enough staff on but no one seemed to have any idea what they were doing. Ordered a second round that never showed up. I couldn't wait any longer to pay so I went to the bar to pay. Our server knew I was angry and didn't say a word to me. Nothing will change from this but potential customers should know, eat anywhere but here.

Sports bar was great. The customer service was great. The atmosphere was lively due to all the sports on television and lots of patrons in the bar area. The food was good. I really enjoyed the chicken and waffles because it was small pieces of fried chicken tenders and the spicy honey syrup to top it off was delicious! The food was inexpensive and a variety to choose from.

Great watering hole for guests at the Marriott hotel and its adjacent Residence Inn. We used it for after dinner drinks, since the Residence Inn provides complimentary cocktails before dinner.

Told the servers what I needed and they were very helpful, they advised on how I could mix the stuff up to make a meal. Skin on fries, rice & beans, veggie pattie etc. the food was served very hot and I made it back to the room with take out still piping hot!! Menu was being served whilst I waited for mine, all good portion sizes. You're not a captive audience in the hotel when the food is 'this' good. Well done Champions!!

Not much choice apart from Burgers or Pasta. Tables are like a cafeteria or school dining room, not really a restaurant, really just a bar with some food available.

Decent food and beer selection Not worth $75 I paid for just 2 people. Philly was pretty decent and IPA Beer was great

I was staying at the adjacent Residence Inn and stopped by Champions for a late lunch/early supper. I was impressed with the quality of service and the food! Thanks!

Had a burger here for supper because in most Marriott hotels the menu is very limited. Seemed like the service from the kitchen was very slow not the waiter.

Good food, reasonably priced, clean, good atmosphere. Bartendar was friendly and helpful. Sports bar with many tv's.

I always eat there in I am staying at the hotel or near by. The service is consistently good as is the food and atmosphere.

We ate here while staying at the Airport Marriott. I had never had a Cuban sandwich--it was delicious! The server was very friendly and the food was served quickly.

Good food, great drinks, and a wonderful bar staff. Multiple T.V screens had every possible sporting event broadcast. Not overly loud and with a good atmosphere.

I got to restaurant around 9 pm after being referred by Marriott Residence Inn. First thing I saw after I sat down was this guy. What manager would allow this guy to stand at the bar and have a drink I am eating establishment??

Not crowded, good food, quick service, good prices. There are 3 hotels on one secure and gated property and Champions had a menu with great selection including beers and wine. Definitely worth the money if staying at one of the 3 hotels.

Stayed here 1 night pre-cruise. About the only option for breakfast in area. Buffet for 2 was $36 including tip. Food was good and a number of options are available. Looked at menu for dinner and it offered a variety of choices but we preferred the options next door at the full Marriott.

Visited here for a quick lunch and enjoyed the tacos and drinks available! The bartender was very helpful and efficient! He seemed to be doing everything actually! We also visited for evening drinks during their happy hour. The food prices were reasonable as well!

Tough deep fried chicken salad with a smattering of some horrible hot sauce and a $3 tablespoon side dish of tasteless coleslaw plus two thick, hard pieces of bread with a slice of kraft cheese tucked in between them (how can you mess up a grilled cheese sandwich) and tater tots (obviously straight from the frozen food aisle) and two bland, anonymous $13 cocktails which at least did have some alcohol. The drinks took quite a while to appear (our nice waittress apologized) and the kitchen provided the wrong salad dressing (another apology). This dinner actually cost more ($69) than a wonderful dinner with excellent service and superb and CHEAPER cocktails at the Cane Fire Grill just across the way.....

Went to Champions Sports Bar with my friends and had a great experience. The service was exceptional and everyone really enjoyed the food. Everything came out fast and tasted great. Our waiter, Brandon, was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. A special shoutout as well to the manager, Carlos, who was very knowledgeable and checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. We’ll definitely be back!

. The restaurant aka Champions has about a dozen large screen TVs a nightly 5 to 7pm happy hour on food and drinks. The drinks are just drinks and the food and service are average. Don't recommend the burger with blue cheese...blue cheese crumbles were expected not watery blue cheese salad dressing.

This restaurant is located inside the lobby of the Courtyard by marmot which is also attached to the Residence Inn. The staff are friendly and helpful. the food as you would expect is bar style food but good none the less. Nice place to get a good meal and not drive around the area which the streets can be very busy at times.

The lobby bar has been pretty active both times I have visited. Love the atmosphere and you are right at the front door by the lobby. Drinks are good and the bartenders are good.

My wife and I were looking for a good place for dinner withouth have to drive. The bar was great, the food was excellent and the prices were reasonable.

Service was knowledgeable and outstanding. We happened to be there for the AFC Football championship and the crowd was into it. Bar is helpful.

We enjoyed a dinner here. We were getting on a cruise the next day so we kept this dinner simple. Enjoyed a burger and a Champion grilled cheese and we each had a glass of chardonnay.

To have dinner and watch the game this is a great place. They make a fantastic burger, and the service is very friendly.

We were in Miami for my sister's baby shower. We decided to eat at Champion's. We were a party of 7 with a toddler. The hostess Christina was very accommodating and sat us right away. She brought my child a highchair and coloring menu for my son toplay with. Our server Onays was attentive to our needs and requests. In these times where most establishments are short on staff you would never know it with these two employees who worked together to take care of my family at dinner. Thanks again!

Thought I by mistake had entered a funeral parlour! This place claims to be a sports bar, but its so dark and gloomy it kills any passion for sport. The food though (lunch) was ok. but it definitely is not a place you want to stay in for a long time.

convinient located inside the Courtyard. Loved the bigscreen TV watching a Copa America game. Food was good ( bar food) servive was better than expected.

The offerings at Champions were what many consider "standard bar grub" during the afternoon and evening. The breakfast buffet in the morning is quite good. I even went back for seconds - and I am not a fan of buffet food. The service staff are top notch and make sure you have everything you need. When the bar is open, they serve wine and mixed drinks. This is a very nice place to hang out and relax!!

A typical sports bar in a hotel. Fairly overpriced and with varying quality. We had Happy Hour food and drinks. Looked to be affiliated with Bud as most beer pulls were Bud products. We ordered pretzel bites with cheese and nachos. The pretzel bites were below average. They were chewy and undercooked. The nachos were much better. Good chips, plenty of cheese and reasonably sized. It was handy to our hotel too.

We had breakfast buffet here. Very friendly service, good choice at a reasonable price. Should we stay at the Marriott again, we will come back.

This is a good option for breakfast and dinner and for drinks. It's closed for lunch, though, except on Sundays which is inconvenient for travelers. The only issue we had was the children's menu. The portions were enormous and not very appetizing. The chicken fingers were huge, dry and had a very hard crust, and the baskets had more fries than the adult meals. I would suggest ordering a regular adult meal for children. The choices are more appealing and healthier.

Would have loved to comment on the food at Champions in the Marriott Courtyard Miami Airport but unfortunately, we never got our food. We ordered basic plates off the menu (fish tacos and sliders) and were asked by our server twice if we wanted our check although never actually GOT our food. No apologies nothing from the wait staff. Had to go to Starbucks instead. Would have been nice to have a decent meal but apparently that wasn't the case today. Not impressed and certainly won't recommend.

Stopped here for dinner while staying at the Courtyard. Husband and I sat at the bar and the bartender quickly waited on us. Portions are huge and we frequently split things so today we tried the bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. It was cooked to perfection and the bun was grilled. The fries had sea salt on them. The burger was cut and brought out on two plates. Burger, fries, lg draft, and corona light was like $33. Not bad for good food and service. This was our 7th stay at the courtyard and we eat here everytime. See you next year 🍔🥓🍟🍻.

Ate her as part of an overnight stay at the Courtyard. We were very pleased with the BBQ Chicken Flat Bread.

Our flight arrived late and we were really hungry and tired so we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised on how good the food was. I would eat here again and the staff was very welcoming and friendly.

This is located in the Marriott Courtyard hotel. It has multi TV going so it really is a bar like atmosphere. Very limited menu and only fair service.

We had breakfast on Saturday 1/9 and the buffet was just ok. Nothing to rave about. The a.m. servers could be alittle friendler. We stopped in on a BUSY playoff Saturday 1/16. Bartender took our order very quickly and he was very friendly. Lots on the menu. I had the turkey blt wrap since I had it last year and it was WONDERFUL. This time it was just ok. We will continue to eat here when staying at courtyard because it's convenient.

Enjoying happy hour at Champions and several colleagues ordered mojotos. The server/bartender, Asmany, returned saying that they had no mint! So disappointing BUT within minutes, Asmany returned to show us a bunch of mint he procured from the sister hotel across the way! Then he made us amazing mojotos!

Arrived at hotel late and the restaurant is conveniently located within the hotel and open until midnight. Since it was late, I ordered a burger to share with my husband and told the waiter as such. They served the burger already cut in half and in 2 separate plates and each with Cole Slaw ( just didn't want fries late at night). Truly appreciate this little detail. Otherwise, it can be quite messy. I ordered "old school latin burger" , it had ham, egg, cheese , avocado and beef patty - very yummy and filling

We were staying next door at the Marriott and this place was recommended for lunch. The restaurant was clean and our service was good. We shared a nachos appetizer and it was huge. I would recommend eating here, there are a lot of tv’s with some sort sports on everyone of them.

Their food is wonderful & price is just right The service is with a smile & always keeps your glass full.

Bad service - must have 4 people to sit in a booth - got a fourth - then they don't want to give a booth.

Convenient restaurant located the Courtyard by Marriott Miami Airport, typical bar food options, friendly service. Good for a quick lunch or dinner.

Quietest sports bar I've ever been in. Absolutely no atmosphere with lots of disinterested people just eating their food and moving on. I ate the fish taco's which were nothing special.

I have to give one star. I was staying in the Courtyard for a weekend and i wanted to go to breakfast, but the way someone at the door named Josh or Joshua who i suppose, is someone responsable there .. was so bad ... that just made me change my idea and to desire to go to another place. I think that people like this, souldn't be at this kind of job. I apologize for the restaurant.

Sports bar located in the Courtyard Mariott, the service is good and efficient. A variety of dishes from snacks to burgers, salads and more. good selection of beers - draft and bottle. in short if you are looking to seat with friends over a beer, a drink with your wife or to eat something tasty and casual I would highly recommend it.

Great take out lunch. We went to the pool...they packed everything we needed! Quesadillas were yummy! Thank you!

Had great Mahi Mahi fish tacos and IPA. Not too noisy for a Sports Bar. Nice ambiance. Close to Airport. Good friendly service

Stopped by after a business day and wanted a burger. Service was good and food typical. Nothing noteworthy but not bad. Atmosphere was good.

Good food and drinks. We had a layover so decided to grab a quick bite and sleep before an early flight. Conveniently located close to the airport. I had the Cuban sandwich, my wife the cheesesteak. The food was ample and tasty. Stephanie’s funny and light-hearted disposition added to our good experience. We would stay here and eat again.

I just Love Oz and Dave the bartenders!! They are like extended family now!! Congrats to them both on new baby girls!! YAY!!

Showed up late at night and the place was busy. We ordered drinks and snacks. Food was tasty and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely go again.

The service was excellent for both meals--open til late for dinner was a big plus--breakfast was a very nice buffet and excellent value

I was in classes all day for a training seminar and I definitely didn’t want to leave for dinner. Thank goodness for champions because all I wanted was a good greasy burger and a decent priced drink. Super great burger and they let me customize it exactly as I wanted. 5$ well drinks in a hotel are quite nice as well. Very good!!

Stayed in the Courtyard Marriott, so chose not to drive in the evening and we would eat here. There was a 'game' going on, very busy lots of shouting! Great fun. We looked at the menu, explained to our server that we were vegan, and she very kindly spoke to the kitchen about our request, and came back and confirmed that indeed, the items would all be vegan. We have stayed on a few occasions here, and always use this bar for drinks. This time we chose to eat our evening meal, very glad we did. There are screens all round, and it's really entertaining to watch Americans' screaming at a tv screen over a game, which I have no idea how to understand!! Happy to recommend to non-vegans also. Food coming up was well presented and huge portions!

Good selection, food was delicious. A bit overpriced and our server wasn't friendly at all - she acted like she was put out serving us, but we didn't let it bother us. Everyone has a bad day now and then. Wasn't busy at all, and they had plenty of games on the TVs around the bar.

No Need to fight the traffic of Miami if staying here. Limited menue though, mostly Burgers and a few other choices. But I felt pricing was FAir and Service was very Good Order their Burger Sliders andwife and I Also shared Nacho’s, which had a lot of cheese on top, but very little underneath, Oh well more than enough food us anyway.

Didn't have huge expectations for a sports bar in a hotel, but this one really knocked out socks off! All of our food was great, but the real surprise was the burger. I think of how many I've had and in how many places over the years; this just might have been the best burger I've ever had! Maybe it was a fluke and I just got a particularly good one, but with the rest of our food also being so good, I doubt it. Price was about what you'd expect at such a place.

Stephanie was great, kept the glasses full, and food came out hot and fresh. Love the staff here and always make a point of stopping by when in town!

We came in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It was not crowded, maybe 5 other families in the restaurant at 9:45 am. The tables were filthy, even though they appeared to have been cleaned. We sat and waited for about 5 minutes before we decided to leave because of the lack of service, the dirty tables, and the lack of variety and cleanliness on the breakfast bar. Disappointing for a Marriott property.

Located in the Courtyard Hotel in the Marriot complex was a short walk form our hotel. We had a very dear friend that happened to passing trough and on her way to the airport we decided to meet here. The food was good, the prices are reasonable and the staff was great.

The Breakfast Buffet was lovely a large selection with different items every day.. Being a lover of good coffee I was not too impressed with their but there is a Starbucks next door.

Convenient location in the Marriott chain near airport. Sports bar with very few beers to choose from actually. The burgers and fries were huge, and pretty good, but the patty itself lacked any type of seasoning at all. So a little bland. Fries were good. Be aware that they charge an 18% automatic gratuity here. Our waiter was very attentive and nice.

We ate in the hotel restaurant after checking out the one in the Marriott. Champions seemed to have a better atmosphere. All of the staff was friendly. My family enjoyed the cuban sandwiches and burger sliders. We also like our own TV at the booth to watch the soccer games.

I usually stay at the Marriott or Courtyard. Champions at the Courtyard is convenience. The Breakfast buffet is really good but on the expensive side but I love breakfast so it is ok.

Very Miami decor. Great big screen TVs all around for watching the game. The service was good but the food wasn't all it could be. I had the mahi tacos and there was plenty of fish, but it was a single large, relatively unappealing chunck without adequate slaw. The sweet potato fries were limp and must have been under a heat lamp for some time. My dining companion found his chicken a little lacking as well. Cold beer though!

Be sure to eat in the in the restaurant. Excellent menu, very tasty. The waiters are fast and efficient.

To ask for your food to arrive HOT. My Cuban sandwich has dried pork and my French fries were lukewarm and soggy feeling. Yes, I could have complained, but feared what would be added to my plate if I had it back to be nuked some more. I was so looking forward to my first Cuban sandwich.

They have a good bar with a variety of drinks. The menu is limited but the food is really good and fairly priced. The staff are friendly and take good care of the customers.

In the 20 months I stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn Miami Airport I ate at Champions quite a bit. Their BBQ Ribs are FANTASTIC!!!! The coleslaw that comes with the dish is just as good as the coleslaw my grandmother & mother makes at home. All the burgers are great. The onion rings and nacho's are great. If you ask for extra dressing or chili there was never a problem or charge. They have multiple TV's with numerous sports shows on. You will be able to find any show on the TV's. Mannie, Dave & Chris always took care of me & my friends when we went in.

While staying here my wife and I had dinner here. Cocktails / beer reasonable. Quinoa salad...very good, chicken tenders...slightly dry, but tasty, onion rings...slightly greasy, but ok. Crowded, noisy, but service from Luis was excellent. Go for the food, don’t expect intimate conversation.

Good wings and fries. Wait staff very attentive. Price was much better than I expected. Sports and news on on several TV's. No audio, should utilize close captions.

we stayed next door at the residence Inn. but a walk across the parking lot is the courtyard and this place is in the lobby. we went in for a bite of lunch. I had been wanting a Cuban sandwich as we were in Miami and i wanted something authentic. well this fit the bill. the pulled pork was moist with the ham, pickles, and mustard on a nice soft roll. we also had sliders and fries and all of it was really good. service was excellent. we will definitely return if we stay here again.

Nice restaurant/sports bar in the Courtyard Marriott. Staff was attentive and pleasant and facility was clean. We had the majority of our meals here for three days with mixed reviews on food quality. Breakfast buffet was very inconsistent in quality however ordering off the menu yields positive results. The Cuban sandwich was dry and not a true Cuban sandwich. The brownie sundae was good and Caesar salad was crunchy and fresh. You can eat indoors or out. Mixologist did a nice job with delivery on top shelf old fashions. We found the place comfortable and relaxing.

We ate there partly because we were staying in the Marriot "campus," which means that there are a couple of hotels in very close proximity.( I don't know why they make a distinction, but anyway....) The hotel's web site says that Champions has an IPA on tap that I especially like, and the food reviews looked acceptable, so I figured, "Why not?" Well, the IPA that is on the hotel's web site was not even mentioned on the menu, and the other IPA that I wanted was "out," so I had to settle. The only IPA that they had was acceptable, but I would like more choice. Partner's wine was "OK." Our food was, again, acceptable. I don't hold hotel restaurants to high standards. If I ever stay here again, and don't feel like going "off campus", as it were, I would eat at Chanpions again. I would never recommend it, though. Service was indifferent. I could tell from what they were saying to each other that they thought they were working hard for overly demanding patrons (and yes, some of the patrons were a bit intoxicated and over demanding), but we, who were not intoxicated or demanding, felt ignored. The greeter who met and seated us was very nice.

This Rest is located in the Courtyard Marriott Hotel near the Airport. Like their sister Rest's at other Marriott locations,, it provides good quality "PUB" food. Great service, their Nacho,s are hard to beat. If you stay at this Hotel, no need to look elsewhere to eat

Food was not exceptional, but prices were very acceptable for an airport bar/restaurant. Service was somewhat slow and needs to be improved. I had an unacceptable long wait for coffee and prior to this had to request my table be cleaned properly.

Typical bar food. Food was fresh and good. The only reason for not “5 stars” was the turkey club. The meat was very rubbery and chewy. However everything else was good including the service.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the food here. My salad was overpriced but delicious and the fries my companion was eating were truly exceptional. The reason for the low rating then was odd and persistent behavior on the part of the waiters. To set the scene you walk in and the place is LOUD. This place is in a Marriott gated complex though so you are trapped here with few options if you want to eat without getting in a car. The sign says seat yourself so you notice there are a half dozen comfortable booths in back a little away from the noise and large screens. When you sit there, however, the waiter immediately insists that you move to one of the high top (uncomfortable for short people) tables in the center of the noise and bustle. He may say the whole area is reserved, once I even heard him tell a large group with nowhere else to sit it was a "fire hazard." (They sat there anyway.) After the first night, we talked to the manager at the bar, who said, "Of course, sit where you like." We sat in the back and resisted when the waiter immediately hustled over to move us. Honestly, I don't know if he's trying to save steps or what, but we saw multiple other groups herded away from the only comfortable seating in the house. I would recommend the management look into this behavior as it makes the place much less attractive to people just looking for a meal and not the Sports Bar atmosphere.

Champs offers a good breakfast buffet for $15 plus tax... scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, fruit, etc. We had no problems finding a table on a Sunday or Monday morning in April, despite the fairly small size of the place. Ivonne, our server, was exceptionally friendly... just a delightful person to help us start our day!

Champions breakfast is a very pleasant experience. Carlos Aguado the restaurant manager is the definition of excellence. He is hard working and I always look forward to seeing him. No matter how busy the restaurant is Carlos always makes time to talk with the patrons and ensures they are well taken care of. He runs a very professional team who are very friendly. Everyone is so attention oriented. This is a must visit during your stay at the Courtyard Marriott.

Had dinner here because it's part of the hotel we stayed before a cruise. Nice, clean, and close to airport. Happy hour was very limited and disappointing. Only one beer at happy hour price(Bud Light), house wine, and 5 dollar rail drinks. Good selection of drinks but WAY overpriced. My beer was as much as my burger. And the food is not worth what we paid. If I am paying 14-16 for a burger it better make me say this is really good. All I could say is "its ok". However, the wings are really good and I definitely recommend them. Service was good, staff was friendly and attentive, food was decent, and prices where typical hotel high.

This place has amazing burgers and beers. If you football, this is the place you should visit. I had dinner at the bar. The waiters in that zone where really nice!

We arrived a little too late to walk to nearby restaurants and decided to stop in for a quick drink and an appetizer. The Mahi tacos were pretty good and had plenty of grilled fish. The brownie sundae was large and had a fresh baked brownie. The bar has a good selection of standard and craft beer as well as wine and cocktails.

Attended a meeting. Service was quick and food was good. Champions burger was good. Grilled cheese (cheese wasn't melted).

Great drinks, great service. They had a great selection of gin, vodka and Pinot Noir which is all I ask of a bar.

Typical bar type menu, something for everyone. Service ok.we found it odd they had no large table. We just pushed some together , staff had no issues.

Checked into hotel, cocktails and snacks in room. Wanted some sort of dinner so down we went and sat at bar. Friendly bartenders and we ordered a large sampler to share. Wings good but loaded fries were cold. Fine for what we wanted and got what expected.

We stayed at the courtyard by Marriott and we visited the Champions sports bar downstairs. Great food, great service and friendly environment. All the servers was pleasant especially Luis he was awesome.

Hey it's a sports bar in a courtyard Marriott but happy they were there. Arrived late and hungry service was just okay but they were nice. It was late so probably wanting to close. Food was average but hey it was very convent and I'm sure I would go there again on another short layover.

Chose to eat in hotel went to champions sports bar ordered a takeaway so that we could eat sitting outside by the pool as it was such a lovely evening, orderered a couple of beers what more could you ask for, food was to a good standard, price was average for area. Bar was very busy but didn't have to wait very long for our meal.

Exceeded my expectations...great service, so happy I decided to try the wings. I saw a pic of the chicken wings in the elevator of my hotel. Better than the photo...amazing.

Staying in the hotel. Stopped in for lunch. Ordered the wings with “humming” (mild) sauce and a Cuban. Both came out relatively quickly. The wings were large, hot and crispy. Sauce served on the side - nice! The Cuban and fries ( included even though the menu didn’t specify ) was also piping hot and the fries (breaded?) were super crispy and delicious. Cuban could use a little more kick. More mustard or more pickles or something. Still tasty. Server didn’t refill drinks, otherwise would be a 5. Would go again.

This Champions was better than some others but is still a Champions with basic food offerings of burgers and fried food. Service was fine and atmosphere OK but do not expect anything more than basic US style bar food. There are few if any better options around unless you take a cab to Coral Gables.

I was staying at the Marriott and decided to check out Champions. What I found was an excellent menu with a wide variety of options and friendly service The potato soup followed by Blackened Chicken Cesar Salad was an excellent choice The prices are very reasonable

Came here yesterday with friends to watch the Super Bowl and had a great time. Loved the place and the super friendly service. Rommel took great care of us, always smiling and made sure we didn’t miss the happy hour. We definitely enjoyed it. Highly recommend! 🍻🏈

This bar is good if you are staying in the hotel and can't go out. Lot's of T.V.s and they will change the channel for you with pleasure. Friendly wait staff. Full bar with good beer selection. Food is pretty good. Pricey.

Hey it's a sports bar so as the review suggests - standard bar fare. Good to grab a quick bite and portion sizes were good.

Over a 3 day stay we noticed that service could be a little slow but overall the service was great and the food was delicious.

We had breakfast here while staying at the Courtyard by Marriott as part of tour itinerary. The food was terrible. Although I understand that it is a breakfast buffet and it had the typical standard fare of pre-made waffles & pancakes, fruit, cereal, eggs, etc., and some bread options, many of the items had not been refreshed or refilled. It was 8:45 am and most of the trays were empty. There was milk splashed all over the counter. Many of the plates were wet, which is very unsanitary. There also was a la carte service available but you wouldn't know it because the waitstaff was nowhere to be found. We were finally able to get one waiter's attention and order some eggs and they were served to us cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. Overall, the service and food was abysmal. We also had complimentary drinks here the night before which were OK, which is the only saving grace for this establishment.

Sit on the patio, order drinks and fish tacos with plantains, you won't be disappointed! First meal in Miami and it was wonderful.

i was the las monday and i just want to say... charlie service exelent and the food and drinks tasty and of course de ice cream.... great

We were staying at the Residence Inn at the Marriott complex and were hungry after our flight in...there is no restaurant at the R I so we walked over and ate here....the waitress was very nice and friendly... She went out of her way to see where the closest place was for us to walk and get water to take on our cruise ...there was a good variety of food and our sandwich was very good...

Champions is a great place for lunch, happy hour, or dinner; while watching your favorite sporting event. The food is great, and the service superb. Definitely try their chicken wings.

Family had dinner and my sports oriented kids loved all the TVs to watch all their favorite games. The meals were quite good for a sports bar/hotel restaurant.

Had a great experience at Champions service was excellent and they had a large party in the dining room. Maggie the bartender made my evening with her amazing service and always had a smile

We were staying overnight in the Marriott Courtyard and were tired, so we went for a drink and dinner here. Well, we should have gotten up some energy and gone somewhere else. Slow service even in a fairly empty place. Arrived at 5 PM and already two of the beers on tap were empty. Drinks were okay, but the food was not. Ordered a burger medium and when it arrived it was well done, as were the fries. And luke warm. An order of tater tots that was supposed to come with the drinks arrived with the main course, and was very cold. Must have been sitting around for a while. Fish tacos were mostly tasteless and served with equally bland tortilla chips. Wish we were not as tired and had gone elsewhere, so I recommend you do if you are staying here too.

Ate here while staying in the Marriott complex prior to a cruise . Good food for a sports bar. No need to leave the complex if do not want to walk a few blocks to find a restaurant.

The place is set up fairly nicely with many TVs. My problem is that on a day when so many games were taking place, less than half of the TVs were even turned on. The food is kind of expensive and there aren't a lot of options on the menu compared to most sports bars. The service was very good however and if you are staying in the complex or nearby, it's definitely convenient and they will at least try to find your game for you.

This place has the best burgers ever! It has a really cool atmosphere and the bartenders were amazing! I would highly recommend this place. The breakfast buffet was great as well and very affordable!

Pros: - A fair amount of TVs, if catching a game is important to you. - Located in lobby of Courtyard Marriott, if you're staying there. Cons: - I got the Cuban because another review recommended it. The bread wasn't pressed -despite it literally being called a "Miami Press" on the menu - and it was pretty dry. No way I would get that again. - They offer 23oz beers, which everyone in our party ordered. However, they claimed that they ran of of those and brought out 16oz beers as well. Of course, this ended up costing us more in the end - why they couldn't just clean 23oz glasses is beyond me, the restaurant was half full. - I was not impressed with the service. We asked our waiter as soon as we were seated to turn on the NCAA tournament games, which he said he would do - and didn't. 10 minutes later we asked someone else, who said he would - and didn't. I finally had to go to the bar and get the manager simply to turn off Fox News and CNN and get the NCAA Tournament on in a sports bar. Pretty rough. - We asked for our bill to be split before we ordered. Instead of splitting it himself, the waiter brought the combined bill to us to figure out how to split it up. That was a first. Also of note, we had to ask for the check 10 minutes after we were done eating and it still took another 15 minutes for him to how up with that scroll of a combined order to fill out. Would I go again? No, and I would not recommend that you do either. There are a lot of good places to eat not far away in Coral Gables and Little Havana. Get in a car or Uber and find somewhere else that's good. Don't settle on this place.

Loved this bar! Delicious food and amazing service and staff! I had the salmon which I highly recommend. Great! Carlos and Onay are the best!!

Had dinner on a Sunday afternoon. Service was fine. Chicken and fries were $11.00 Would eat here again.

I always love to stay at aplace with a sports bar, and this one did not dissapoint. I was there with a couple of freinds in late November, before your trip to the Keys. Louis was a great bartender, lots of fun. food was good, wings were the best !

Conveniently located in the Courtyard hotel, I decided to give them a try. Had an excellent burger in a welcoming environment.

Our bartenders/servers really helped make our dining experience outstanding. We were in town just for the weekend and needed a sports bar to watch the game in and were staying at the hotel next door. Every other place we had eaten at in Miami prior we had terrible service where we were basically ignored. The gentlemen in the bar were polite and attentive and made the experience fun. Food was nothing very special but great for the low cost. It was very quiet which came as a surprise since it was Miami's first game of the season but I know that's no fault of the bar.

Restaurant automatically added 18% gratuity to the bill regardless if a single person or multiple. I would not have a problem giving that much tip if the service was actually worth it. Had no problems with evening meal service. Friendly and attentive waitress. Morning service was worst service ever encountered. Given a menu for choice of a la carte or $25.00 buffet. I chose the buffet because said omelette station was available. Right on the menu says available. Come to find out only on the weekends. Then put it on the menu. If you don't like powdered eggs don't get the buffet. Asked for orange juice (again on the menu for the buffet) gave me grief about that as well. Also got coffee. Not once did the waitress come by to offer a refill of coffee. I went to their waitress station and got it myself twice. Extremely poor service. Asked twice to speak with a manager, waited around and no one came by to talk to me. Wanted to talk about taking the 18% gratuity off the bill for the poor service. Did not deserve 5%.

Great place to watch games and have a bite! Good selection of beers. Wings were good too! All and all not a bad place

Not many other options around ... Good when staying overnight in the hotel. Menu has typical bar fare. Service is friendly and timely. You'll pay $15-20/meal and $10? for a glass of wine. Wine was absolutely deplorable and tasted rancid. I got another glass of a different wine and it was bad too ... Cheap wine :-P

Champions was always pleasant. Alejandra (supervisor) did a great job managing her food services team during breakfast. One evening during dinner, the sports bars was very crowded; however, Lewis (Louis?) demonstrated outstanding customer service by letting us know how busy the restaurant was, but he would get to us a quickly as possible. That small gesture meant we know that we would be properly looked after. Remember it is a 'sports bar' so there are televisions mounted on the walls everywhere!

Portion sizes were huge, food was fast to come out, tasted delicious and delivered with a smile. What more could you ask for?

Excellent service and absolutely delicious burgers. We were pretty tired when we arrived at the Courtyard by Marriott Miami Airport and decided to eat here. We were not disappointed. We were welcomed warmly and had some of the best burgers we've had in a while with delicious homemade fries. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

The meal we chose was just "burger and fries" but it was tasty and inexpensive. The staff were quite nice.

We had some food and drinks here as we waited for our flight. We were staying at the hotel. Everyone was friendly and service was good, but a little slow.

Convenient for an overnight stay if you come into the airport late. Food is only average and if you are discerning then there are many other places that are better. Service was basic at best.

This is right in the lobby of the Courtyard Marriott. We had burgers and a pastrami sandwich. The food was good Burger and Fries is $ 13.95 The pastrami and fries was $14.95. They did have a burger special that came with a beer that was the same price but we didn't see that until later. The staff was great. They have many TVs with different games on them you can request what game you would like them to put on.

2 out of 4 meals never arrived. The service was so slow that it became a farce. 10 minutes to distract the waitress from her social chatting and then criticised for waving at her. Drinks didn’t arrive, meals were forgotten & the whole experience was awful. What a mismanaged mess

A large sports bar with typical food. But the food service staff could be more exacting. They were friendly did try, but the restaurant needed sharper management. Also the support of the booth tables could easily slide along the floor which could cause an accident.

This is part of the Courtyard Marriott complex by the airport. The food is the usual sports fare. The service is is good and the prices are reasonable.

The food here was very good and they have a great selection of Beers. Service was a little slow, but there was a convention in the hotel so it was crowded and i will give the wait staff forgiveness for that. I would definitely recommend the burgers!

My wife and I were staying at the Marriott Courtyard, so it was a convenient. We were pleasantly surprised to find an excellent menu. I had the pesto turkey burger, which was very tasty, needing no condiments. It came with shoestring fries which were not as hot as I would have liked, but so delicious that, for the first time in my life, I didn’t add any ketchup! My wife had the fish (mahi mahi) tacos. She let me taste them. They were superb. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful, checking back with us several times. We dined during Happy Hour, so the total charge was very reasonable. There were twelve TVs, showing several different sporting events. The music was a little loud for our taste, but just right for the younger crowd who were enjoying it. It was an enjoyable experience. If you’re staying at any of the hotels in the Marriott Airport “campus,” this is a great place to have dinner and conversation.

Our go to place when we stay at the Miami Airport Marriott. We enjoy the beer selections and really enjoyed the black and blue cheeseburger. Lots of televisions to watch multiple games.

Very upscale and modern sports Bar and Grill. We enjoyed an Excellent Cuban sandwich and onion rings! The 16oz beer selection for $6 was also a pleasant surprise.

My wife and I honestly had fairly low expectations for our dinner here. The restaurant is very open and bright with lots of televisions. The beer selection is adequate and the beer itself was cold and promptly served. Our server was very friendly and welcoming. We both ordered Cuban sandwiches and found the flavor and presentation to be excellent. The fries were hot and well seasoned. The sandwich was more than adequate for dinner and the meat was tender and tasty. We would definitely recommend if staying at the Courtyard or surrounding Marriott properties. Give it a try and like us, you may be pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and service.

Pretty good food, but the service was spot on. Several checks and continual refills of beverages made a brief lunch a pleasure.

We had been to this restaurant on many occasions during our stays at the local Marriott properties. Most recently, three months ago, I had a wonderful Philly Cheesesteak sandwich that had me longing to return. We did return, I did order the same sandwich- and it was awful. Despite the fact that the restaurant was empty, it took a long time to arrive. When it did, it was cold, dry and tasteless. The chef, according to the server, decided to take 10% off the check. Thanks. I feel no need to return.
