THe staff was nice (helped we were in a group with a Spanish-language native speaker) but the food was at best bland. Value for money is not that great. Restrooms were below average (late in the evening MIGHT explain)

Loud outside, Denny's furniture inside. Similar menu to Metropol across hall at same mall. Both real restaurants accessible from outside the mall. Charcoal average and not very much cheaper than other options nearby.

Restaurant located in the Dolphin Mall, with exterior view and tables. We ate indoors, small, fairly gloomy and felt cramped. Service was average as was the food, uninspired and lacking in flavor. Wait staff never came back to ask if everything was ok or if we wanted anything else other than placing the check on the table. Good bye

My girlfriend really liked her "Lomo Saltado". My steak was not very special, the fries didn't fried long enough. Staff was okay. I don't think that we will revisit this restaurant in the future.

The best place to eat after going shopping at dolphin mall! It has a faboulous steaks with amazing fries!

We had lunch at Charcoals Latin Grill on December 15, 2025, just after 1:30 p.m. We had no wait time to be seated. I'd call the atmosphere casual. The restaurant, located at the outside edge of the mall, is OK, although you will be challenged if you must have a server who speaks English. The place is clean and friendly, but I don't think our server understood more than half to 2/3 or what we said or asked. My spouse had a cheeseburger and I had the ribs. The ribs are a VERY generous portion, and I took away enough for another meal. The diner chooses the sides...I chose plantains and rice w/beans. The food was good. The soft drinks are expensive and are served by the can...as in a can of diet coke is $4. I would eat there again.

Came shopping at the Dolphin Mall and decided to have dinner. I saw the Churrasco sign and it was exactly what I wanted. Not crazy about beef but a good Churrasco is always welcome. Not disappointed at all! It was delicious!!!. Not a very attractive place, it has the ambiance of a cafeteria but the waiter was very cordial and the price was just. Definitely recommend this place.

Went in for quick dinner, service was fast food was hot. Really good only think I didn't like was the banana chips were kinda stale but the chimichurri chicken was good my husband had the churrasco it was good also.

I should have stayed in the latin grill at the food court. I don't think their exhaust is not capable of absorbing too much grill. It was a bit smoky inside. It took the store at least 8 minutes to entertain us. We had to get the high chairs ourselves. I had to clean my babies' high chair as it was dirty and sticky. The food was okay. I liked the fried fish.

Went for Dinner wit my Family from Out of Town. What an Excellent Food they have and Different Choices for everyone Pork, Meat, Fish The President Churrasco was Amazing, a Big WOW!! Super Tender Meat Delicious GALLO PINTO AND TOSTONES. Chimichurri was so Good that We Put also on the Rice. Service was very Profesional by Manager Paola. End our Dinner with the Delicious Tres Leches and Expresso Can not believe there is a Restaurant with such a d Excellent Food in a Mall Strongly Recommend even the Prices are very Fair You will love the Food

Located near Dolphin Mall Cinemas', Charcoals Latin Grills offers indoor and outdoor seating. We were seated instantly when we arrived as no reservation was needed. Service was professional and fast. We tried 2 huge platters : the Lone Ranger Platter (29.95$) (BBQ Spare ribs , bite size grilled chicken breast, pork loin , fried cheese and plantain chips with cabbage salad) and the Sports' Fan Platter (26.95$) (Grilled shrimps , Fried fish fingers, chicken wings, mozzarella sticks and fries). The food was great - note that each these platters are usually for 3 or 4 persons. We were given boxes for the leftovers. Overall: Prices are good and staff is great - Recommended

With friends at the Dolphin Mall. They recommended the Havana Club Platter and the Lone Ranger Platter. They were excellent samplers of all the specialties. And the cortadito afterwards topped off the experience.

It was so hot in this restaurant, but we needed a quick lunch. It was tasty - don't bother with the burger with the fried cheese - no good at all. I had grilled fish and it was quite good. Our server didn't speak very good English, which was perfectly fine, but she messed up an order because of it. Not a huge deal and we just dealt with it.

This restaurant is in a great location at Dolphin Mall as part of the "Walk" outside of the actual mall. It has indoor and outdoor seating which is nice, a fairly large menu and happy hour but that's about where it ends. The service is average nothing to write home about. The food was lousy, I ordered the fried fish meal, with french fries and cabbage salad. The meal was by far the worst meal I have seen and tasted in a long time. The fish was cold when it arrived and the lukewarm fries did not appear to be fresh. The presentation of the meal was abysmal. A slab of dry, bland fish with tasteless fries. The cabbage salad was somewhat edible but nothing I would order again, Needless to say, I had to return the cold meal which was obviously microwaved and returned to me. No apologies for the meal at all from the wait staff. This restaurant was a massive "MISS" for me as even when I looked at other peoples meals it didn't look much better than mine. What a waste of my money. There are other selections of places in the area to eat I might suggest you choose one of those instead.

went here for lunch with co worker, each order different plates, steak fries, steak, white rice and sweet plantain. The food was served fast and the meat was good and tasty but would like the rice and side were better. Average meal cost $13.00 and up.

We stopped by for late lunch and were really pleased with what we got. The grilled fish with the shrimps are delicious with special latin sauce. The burger meat was grilled to perfection. It a great budget restaurant that would leave anyone with a satisfied stomach. My rating: 7/10.

So let me get this clear the crew is helpful and friendly the food is real tasty and good the decoration is nice and the sauces are mouthwatering I wouldn't ask for more in a restaurant you should really give it a try and you won't regret it

The food was good. Great prices. The chicken was well cooked. Live music. Open air. Lots of nature and friendly birds.

Location is good. Fries were pretty good, our server was sweet but my order was not that good. My salad was not the right thing that I ordered. Grilled shrimp was cold and they took it back and heated I think so it was chewy. My husband got the burger and he liked his order. I expected better quality for the price. Too expensive for a side of fries that ended up eating for lunch.

We visited this restaurant today and had their Churrasco Presidente. The steak was so big that my wife and I were able to perfectly share it. The meat was tender and delicious and their chimichurri sauce was excellent. Had "Gallo-Pinto" (rice and beans) and tostones (mashed plantains) as side orders. We loved it.

Had the Big Hunter Churrasco with rice and beans and for appetizer a fried cheese. My wife had the shrimp pasta which she enjoyed. Service was prompt and good.

Nice joint. The staff are very friendly and Attentive. The steaks are cooked to your style you desire. The chips are okay. The bacon prawns wrapped in bacon are the highlight. It's not cheap but the dishes are quite big and you get 2 sidelines with main orders. I would go again.

We decided to eat at this location because we met with some friends who visited us from another country. Food was good and service was ok, but what surpriced me is that although the check had a stamp stating that the gratuity was not included and that it was suggested a 15%, the server decided to include her tip manually on the check. I work on the service industry and understand that in Miami due to the mix of culture visiting it's neccesary to include the gratuity on the checks; however, do it manually seems like forced. I usually visit the location in Kendall and go very often, but this one surprised me. Avoid that by already including it on your checks and stating it on your menu. We, Miami residents, are used to pay included gratuity anyway.

the Baby Beef was delicious, well served, the french fries hot and fresh, The yucas are th youe best I’d eaten in Florida. We will come back, for sure!!

Just a quick lunch while shopping at Dolphin Mall. The bacon cheese burgers were excellent, just dropped a 'star' because the fries weren't fresh. Nice atmosphere and good service.

The restaurant is unassuming, but has really good food. The waiter (didn't get his name) was very attentive. He described the food as primarily Nicaraguan and Cuban. I never had either before but now would be very willing to do again. There was some cheese appetizer that was fantastic. Their chimichurri was fantastic.

Most chain restaurants in the mall are usually average and one's expectations aren't very high. We had no expectations but were extremely surprised at how terrible the food was. The service was average, the ambience was being in a mall - where someone started a fire in a garbage can 25 feet away with a cigarette - so we were not expecting very much when we all ordered fajitas. Simple - how can you go wrong with fajitas ? Well, we found out that you can. Very little vegetables, old rice and beans, no salsa, no guacamole, just a little meat - charred and tough meat - old tortillas that stank of oil, and very tasteless. $75 later as they included a 20% gratuity regardless, we had to leave most of our food. They did try to help out by bringing some marinara sauce to replace the lack of salsa - absolutely disgusting. Will never go back. I hope this helps the restaurant owner in some way.

Ok, we weren't sure of where to go and we found this restaurant at the Dolphin Mall. If you make it past the initial picture menu, you will be surprised by an outstanding choice of delicious dishes. We had the "Presidente", a 16oz flap meat steak, and a chicken soup. The churrasco was probably the best I have ever had. The prices aren't the cheapest but worth it. We will be back again.

I visited Charcoals Latin Grill at Dolphin Mall and was more than satisfied with the experience. I tasted Churrasco Presidente, which was juicy, tender and tasted spectacular. The portion was generous and came with 2 hearty sides that we could choose from several that completed a dish worth recommending We also ordered the Pork Ribs, which were perfectly cooked: soft, easily detached from the bone and with a delicious marinade that highlighted the flavor without dulling it. The prices are very accessible, considering the quality and size of the portions. You can enjoy premium cuts of meat without overspending, which makes it an excellent choice within the mall. The waiters’ attention was impeccable: fast, attentive and always with a smile. They explained the menu options and recommended combinations that were really worthwhile

I recently visited this restaurant expecting the best of the Latin food. It wasn’t bad but the food(talking about the flavor and freshness)wasn’t what I expected. I sat about 20 minutes and no one came to receive me and offer me at least a drink. Almost all the employees we’re counting money(I think of the tips) and others were eating in the tables of the restaurant food of other places such as pizza. One of the ladies that was eating, left her food and came to take the order and after that a man came and she told him don’t worry I’ll take the order. The price for the food and service it was expensive.

The steak is awesomeness but you can feed 2-3 people with one order...a must visit! We were visiting after having taken a cruise to the Grand Turks... Will definitely visit again!

Before shopping we made sure we had great Cuban lunch dish to have the energy to embark on your crazy shopping spree at the Dolphin Mall. The food was exquisite and the staff very friendly! Would come back again very soon!

Love this place. The skirt steak "Ranchero" is one of the best steaks I've ever had in my life! It's a must try.

I came to this restaurant with my friend, I recommend the carne asada plate. Is very good, with rice and beans. Also the fried cheese. I loved! Very Good taste

Great with kids! Good portions. Try shrimp fajitas were yummy! Tres leche was good too! Dinner comes with 2 sides and can give to small kids as a meal. Worked out great!

Inside the Dolphins Mall, we stopped there for a break. There are other restaurants around it, and picked it at random. Nice call! Simple, no frills place. But the lady serving us was very good (it helped that we can speak Spanish maybe, still), prompt and fast. The food, maybe because I wasn’t expecting much, was actually pretty good and at great prices. 8 oz. Carne Asada, $ 14.50: the meat was lean, tender and tasty, this was a great value. Wife’s Baby churrasco, as well as the Quesadilla appetizer, were also good and you can tell that they put some care in the dishes. This place was a good surprise, I don’t often eat inside malls and rarely – when I did it – it was good. Prices are also very, very reasonable.

Charcoal’s Latin Grill, at Dolphin Mall Went to visit the Dolphin Mall, a bit hard to reach, since the streets that, from Palmetto, lead to it, 12th, 14th and 17th , are interrupted and tortuous. For a lunch, we looked for the food plaza, that is covered but open. Found a Japanese restaurant, but that didn’t show its prices on the exposed menu, and I don’t care for places that are ashamed of their prices. Next, found this Charcoal’s, that looked good and tried to sit inside, for the a/c, but it was stuffy and smelly, so we sat at one outside table, in spite of the heat and the noise. Asked for items on the menu, like the rib eye steak, or the tenderloin tips, but the waiter told that they only had the strip steak, in different sizes and advised to order the big one, President, for two. So we ordered it, medium rare, and a side order of veggies and rice and beans (moros y cristianos). The steak came quite rare inside, practically raw (bleu), tasty and not too tough, but a bit sinewy and the rice came with fried plantain chips, so the waiter brought a small bowl of broccoli and carrot pieces. In summing up, it wasn’t a very satisfactory experience.

The food was a bit slow but tasted great, my order was messed up the first time but then was fixed the food was very tasty 😋

Visited the mall and stopped here for lunch. We went into the restaurant rather than sitting on the patio area. Our waiter was excellent and recommended the steak to us as first time visitors. Both my husband and I enjoyed our steak and a variety of sides. The food was excellent, loved the grilled smokey flavor and was especially good with the sangria we also chose!! A great little restaurant to go to!

I paid $2.00 short of $20.00 for a fish lunch here and a sprite. When I looked at the menu the food was about 11.00 dollars or so. When I got the bill there were so many different taxes . To make matters worst I had to wait like 10 minutes to get my change . I must admit the food tasted good but later that evening fir dinner I bought dinner at another at same location (just can't recall the name) I got more food more variety and tasted great for $8.00.. seriously. If you don't mind paying a lot more then I recommend this restaurant.

The food was good. Quality of food is awesome. Service extremely slow, we had to go to the register to let them know we wanted water. Overall a good visit.

Positive things first: steak is perfectly grilled, nice smoky flavor, not over- or undercooked. Just perfect. Big portions. Nice, attentive service. Now recommendations for improvement: interior needs to be upgraded. "Lomo saltado" is just a mix of steak, onions, tomatoes and french fries. Completely missing the sauce, which is what makes this dish ( usually mix of soy sauce, vinegar and paste of ahi amarillo). So, if you happen to go to this restaurant is better to stick with traditional steak.

The ambience is great but food was fast food level. Be careful at the outdoor tables, birds swoop in to try and eat it. The outdoor video screen is nice but doesn’t compensate for the poor food quality. Don’t get the chicken Caesar!

Charcoals Latin Grill at Dolphin Mall in Miami has a really good menu that is full of delicious, flavorful, and well prepared food. I like to get many of the menu items all at once so I can taste them all. I like the selection outdoor seating space that they have available. The staff here is very welcoming and does everything that they can to provide an excellent dining experience.

This was my second time eating there and. It's times the food was wonderful. The restaurant is a bit cramped and rather loud. It is always busy. The staff was great about putting a few tables together as we had a party of nine. The food came out fast and delicious. They have Latin and pasta dishes which makes it easy for most to eat there. Prices are not too bad either. Definitely a place I would return.

When in Miami this has to happen. They make the best Flank steak and the condiments have to be applied and eaten. Don't forget to get the Sangria. To die for. This trip to Charcoals is a flavorable one you won't forget.

Visited here Jan. 10 around 1:30 pm. Had an appetizer of wings which were pretty good. For my entree I had a burger. The burger was pretty good as well. I asked a lady for some mayonnaise she said "okay" but I never got any mayonnaise from her. I watched her clean a table, she never came back with the mayonnaise. Our waiter comes back and I told him I needed mayonnaise, he went and got it. The food was pretty good I just felt that the service needed some improvement.

The restaurant is great! The crew is suuuuper friendly ! Also a very nice location. A lot of options on the menu to. Great price/quality!
