WE didn't have a reservation but were able to get seated with a very short wait. The service was very good . I had beef carpaccio that was classical. My wife had wagyu beef that was s cooked to as she like but she was underwhelmed. The lobster bisque fabulous

I was with my friend here to get a nice steak, we ordered our menu, but received other than ordered. we asked sides without onion and garlic, the mushroom was with onion. The beef was dry and they forgot the sauce. my napkin fell down, the waiter asked me, do I need new? (it was at the beginning of the dinner) I told yes please, nothing arrived. We asked the waiter not to fill the glass, he comes and filled it 3 times.. So in a 5-star hotel it was a 2-star service

This place was recommended to us from friends and they told us about the “cut of the week” which we didn’t end up ordering. The waiter seemed annoyed we knew about it and it didn’t sound appetizing to me. I order a filet mignon, truffle mashed potatoes and a salad. My steak was mooing and it had zero flavor. I couldn’t eat it. For $54 it was too tough to even cut. The potatoes were ok, salad was good and my drink was good. The staff didn’t ignore us at all, they actually stood right behind us, like waiting for someone to need something, it made us feel a little uncomfortable. Never would I go back, worst steak I’ve ever had, and I wanted to love this place.

Lucky to get to eat here and have an excellent steak with incredible service. Large group of us and we were treated to amazing service, with food that was fantastic. Most tried the steaks and all were incredibly satisfied. Great ambience, lots to choose from. Great place to hit while in town.

We ate here as part of a large group (18). Fixed menu with wine pairing. First the wine was adequate, not great, but as expected and appropriate for pairings. There was no shown limit on wine. Salad was interesting, albeit a little tasteless. Main course was NY strip that was cooked appropriately to order and tasty. Potato side was just OK. Sautéed mushrooms and onions were abundant and good. Dessert was undistinguished. Initial server did and OK job. Food arrived hot and delivery was timely. Cost was $58 plus tip; thus experience was a good value for the price. All seemed to enjoy.

My wife and I went here for dinner on the second night of our trip and we were very impressed. The food was outstanding.

Booked in advance for a business dinner, we mingled at the bar til half our group arrived when we were escorted to a large table with a privacy curtain. Perfect setting for a successful business dinner. Food was flawless, wine was wonderful, knowledgeable sommelier, of course. Service was fashionably Four Seasons. Highly recommended.

My steak dinner was the best ever. The wine was superb and the 3 piece band made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. The restaurant is located in Mandalay Bay on the Four seasons side of the property.

Ate here two years ago and swore I would never return as the service was horrendous. But the food was good so we tried again and this time the service matched the food. We got the Cut of the Week menu on both visits and the food was great, the wine is barely drinkable but it’s essentially free so you get what you pay for. Service this time was great, and it’s a beautiful restaurant.

We ordered the cut of the week, which was ribeye. The fat was not as marbled as i would have hoped, but the meat was very juicy. The restaurant had a lovely ambience, perfect for conversing, even at a 6pm reservation time. Cut of the week is off menu, but prix fixe for about $50, and including the wine glass refills is more than worth the price, especially as the cab it was served was delicious. It also came with a starter salad and 2 sides, and dessert.

Salmon was perfect and I LOVED the Brussel sprouts! The service was excellent. I would definitely dine here again.

We were treated to a meal here by our supplier and it was not disappointed. We had a tomahawk steak for 2 and it was cooked to order as medium rare, was juicy and tender - and the sides ticked all the boxes - as you would expect in Las Vegas with all the competition around. I guess it was expensive, but the service was fine and the wine and ambiance was nice.....

We had problems trying to find a restaurant to accommodate our large group of 13 people at one table. Charlie Palmers Steak house in Las Vegas was very accommodating put us in a private area all on one table, The steak was excellent and the service was top shelf snd the bottomless wine pairings with the first and second course was a unexpected bonus. We appreciate the great service and professionalism of that fine restaurant !!!

We had an awesome steak of the week with wonderful friends this last Vegas trip. This was a great old school steakhouse...service was great! Our 32nd wedding anniversary was made extra special at this venue...kinda nice to be in a restaurant without a casino right outside...

I had the wagyu steak and truffle mac-cheese and now I'm spoiled. This was the best steak I have eaten, never needed a knife, just a fork. It wasn't just tender, more like it melted in your mouth. The service and atmosphere was great.

While staying at the Four seasons we heard about the Charlie Palmer Steak restaurant where a Nice steak was to be obtained according to our concierge.. I have to say he was correct ..Excellent service,a fantastic Filet mignon and a menu to suit everyone . Great Atmosphere ...

I have visited Charlie Palmer Steak multiple times over the years; I have had cocktails and appetizers at the bar, gone for special occasions or "just because," and I've been to three catered events there. It never fails to fulfill my expectations! The Cut of the Week menu with unlimited wine pairing is absolutely the best deal in Las Vegas. Service is generally just attentive enough without being overbearing, and I'm always happy when Mr. Edgar is our sommelier. The bartenders are friendly and welcoming, and they make a fantastic dry vodka martini. The noise level can be a bit loud on busy nights, but that's to be expected when it's a full restaurant. The valet parking at Four Seasons is very easy and the restaurant validates the parking charge now.

I had dinner for one at the bar which forms part of the Charlie Palmer Steakhouse at the Four Seasons. The Ribeye was the MOST tasty in Las Vegas and that includes Cut Wolfgang Puck and SW Steakhouse. Lovely lady working behind the bar.

Ever single part of our meal was delicious! I've had some great meals in famous steakhouses. This ranks up there with THE best! Delicious food, great service! Going back tonight!

3 of my colleagues and I had a lovely dinner here. We shared the bone in rib eye x 2 between us along with sides there was more than enough food. Only negative the bar service was not very good as bartender too involved in conversations to wait on us... but we had great service at the table. Wonderful bernaise sauce and great glass of Cabernet to accompany the meal. Suggest table toward the back if you want to talk as there was live music towards the front of the restaurant.

First class experience that includes wine pairing for $58 per person. Service was excellent and the wine was freely poured. Best high end restaurant in town! Located in the Four Seasons hotel with old Las Vegas service, from the valet, to when the doormen open the door, excellent steaks and sides, to when you pick up your car. Dont miss this experience!

I studied in Paris, worked in Berlin & Beijing, and live in Aspen. The best food ----if you don't count Shlomo's in Aspen at the Little Nell residences---I've ever had.

Vegas has a lot of great places to dine. If your looking for a quieter dining experience with very knowledgeable staff and great food, you must enjoy one of your special meals at Charlie Palmers.

We only get to Las Vegas every few years, but visiting Charlie Palmer Steak is always on the list! Everything we have ever tried on the menu is delicious, but their bone-in ribeye steak is magnificent. I tried the Wagyu this time just to be different and it was exceptional as well. Charlie Palmer Steak never disappoints and we would both highly recommend it for a great evening.

A solo female, not drinking except a cappuccino, ordering from the under priced restaurant week menu and I was treated as though I were a party of 10 with caviar and the finest champagne. That is the hallmark of a good training, the fact that the wait staff is in the correct industry and certainly made for a memorable occasion for me. My steak was cooked to perfection. The side dishes were more than adequate in taste presentation and size. Another lovely touch was the fact that because I did not care to enjoy the included glass of wine, the waiter happily substituted a cappuccino at no surcharge. Amazing. I will return and I will bring others with me.

This steakhouse is tucked inside the Four Seasons Hotel. Food is great, service spectacular (like the rest of the hotel).

Came here while staying at the Four Seasons. Friend told me about the cut of the week. Only available if you mention it. Meant for locals. $58 buys you unlimited wine, salad, rib eye, 2 sides and dessert. No substitutes. Food was very good as was the service. The rib eye was very good but not excellent. Can’t beat the $58 deal when a steak is $60 a la carte here.

We had booked to enjoy the Cut of the Week - on arrival at the restaurant we were taken to our table and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. On receiving the main menus, we requested the Cut of the Week menu and there was absolutely no issue in being handed these (after all, if the restaurant has a problem with people dining from this bargain menu, then stop serving it!). The sommelier poured the white and red wine and we thought that was it for the "bottomless" wine - but we were poured 2 further glasses of whichever wine we wanted. The menu was delicious and we couldn't get over the size of the steak considering this menu is only $58 for 3 courses and wine! Will definitely return to enjoy this menu again.

We enjoyed an excellent dinner of steak and lobster while staying at the Four Seasons Hotel. Dinner started with delicious appetizers of oysters and sweet and sour calamari. I then enjoyed a tender filet mignon steak while my fiancee had lobster. The steak tasted fine but perhaps because I did't add any sauces or add ons (heresy to me for fillet mignon), the presentation was rather plain (something I only mention because this is a high end steakhouse). On the other hand, the presentation of the lobster was phenomenal, as was the taste! We enjoyed the house pinot noir, which was a fine dinner (rather than tasting) wine. We had Spicey Broccolini on the side, which was okay but not really spicy. For dessert, we split a serving of chocolate ice cream, which was uniquely served. Over all, an excellent dinning house to go with a fine hotel.

I enjoyed a good business meeting dinner with two clients at this spot. However large convention groups led to a requested quiet table being one in the middle of the dining room with loud noise from adjoining rooms. The service was indifferent as the large groups consumed resources. We ordered two seafood and one petite filet dishes and all were good but one of the sea food was over cooked. Cocktails were made to our order and the wine selection pleased the guests. Portions on the steaks are large and I wanted a steak but could not find one in the 4-oz range and switched to fish. We skipped dessert.

I had often heard of their Cut of the Week value. During restaurant week, this was an even greater value & I insisted we give it a go. Cut of the week varies weekly & normally runs $58pp. For restaurant week it was $50, with some of the proceeds going to the local food bank. It is a prix fixe, and this week in was a wedge salad, small lobster tail & 8oz. filet, 2 sides (truffle mac & cheese and gingered carrots), a peanut butter mousse bar for dessert plus UNLIMITED wine pairings!!! It included both a red & a white--which was nice, as I avoid reds as I am prone to migraines. You must go past the Mandalay Bay checkin to get to the Four Seasons...down a long quiet hallway & down an elaborate staircase, then around the corner is Charlie Palmer. The restaurant is lovely, as was the service--from hostess to waiter to sommelier. I loved EVERYTHING, although quite frankly was too full to enjoy more than a bite of the very rich dessert. It does say that wine is only served through the main course (I assume to avoid those who might think they may stay all evening & live it up!), but they did top my white wine off before dessert (perhaps also as DH was not drinking). This is a TREMENDOUS value & SUCH a lovely venue. We visit Vegas around 4x/year, and I am going to insist on this meal EVERY trip!

Over priced, under stated. The steak was ok, but you have to order each item individually and a glass of wine was over $19 ..... the meal left us still hungry and nearly $300 out of pocket! Would never recommend this restaurant to the general population.

Charlie Palmer Steak is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. I specifically go for the "Cut of the Week." Charlie's Cut of the Week has a creative and tantalizing salad along with a white wine expertly selected buy Charlie's Sommelier. By the way the wines are served as "bottomless" so for those of you who enjoy a bottle or two of wine with dinner, Cut of the Week is for you. The main course is some cut of the week like bone-in filet or strip steak, an well prepared vegetable, and a scrumptious potato dish. This course comes with a "bottomless" red wine...drink up! Lastly, there is served a creative and tasty desert. All of this wonderful food and two bottomless wines is priced at $58.00 per person. Folks, I challenge you to find a better mean, better wine, and nicer room for less money than Charlie Palmer's "Cut of the Week. I typically dine there solo at the bar and enjoy the bartenders, Tommy and Craig. These fellows make some great drinks (additional costs of course). And they are really warm and personable. The room is not loud and would be a great place for a romantic dinner with a special someone.

Special $58 three course dinner. Roasted beet and goat cheese salad, petite NY steak with peppercorn demiglace sauce, garlic mash potato and creamed spinach sides and cream brulee for dessert. Free flowing wine for each course. Great service too.

We stayed at the Delano over new year, and decided to have dinner at Charlie Palmer's for NYE. The food was average at best. They had a set menu with bottomless wine, which was fine, but food and wine were very mediocre. It seemed that the staff was overwhelmed yet there wasn't a huge rush by anyone. Service was not up to the standards for a $200+ person dinner. We had to chase the wine steward for refills of wine. We had to chase people down for refills of Pellegrino. We enjoyed ourselves due to the company we were with, but we would not do this venue again

We had dinner at Charlie Palmer's while guests of the Four Seasons Hotel. The Hotel is lovely, well run, and genuinely met the mark. Charlie Palmer's likes to talk about how great their steaks are, but folks, they disappointed. We have had the good fortune at enjoying steaks around the country at III Forks in Dallas, Gene and Georgetti in Chicago, St. Elmo's in Indianapolis, Bern's in Tampa, and Metropolitan Grill in Seattle. Charlie Palmer's is supposed to be marvelous. The steak was without flavor, the meat ok and obviously a prime cut, but the word BORING resonated. Maybe the Las Vegas location was off the night we were there in early December. They are other choices in Las Vegas. Take a pass...

I've eaten at a lot of the best places in Vegas over many years and this takes the cake for WORST service. The first person to approach the table after we were sat and given menus was in a spot and tie. He didn't give his name, say good evening or identify his job. Turns out he was the sommelier. We found that out when we tried to give him our order. The next person comes to the table, doesn't say good evening, doesn't give his name, no personality and takes our order. That was the last time we saw him. No one ever came to the table including the manager (who stood at the podium the whole time. It wasn't busy.) and asked how our meal was, didn't ask us for dessert; nothing, nara. My adult son, however, did overhear the server and kitchen staff saying how they hated Orange County and would never live there, etc. HINT: customers can hear your conversations, don't gossip. BTW, I am from Orange County. For the first time ever I left a ZERO tip and circled it on the bill. What the Four Seasons and Charlie Palmers doesn't know is that I will be back to the hotel in four weeks for a conference. I am going to make sure that the event coordinator for our firm knows of the god awful service that I received. I did let the manager know of the poor service as I walked out. Also, he must have told the GM for the Four Seasons as they were apologetic and tried to correct the situation. My advice is to go to STRIP STEAK in Mandalay if you want a good steak.

If you have the opportunity to visit this gem, do so. You will not be disappointed. We had come on the recommendation of a friend, and boy are we glad! Be sure to ask for the “cut of the week”. I assume it changes weekly. This is the bargain This week it was a NY steak. I’m not a big fan of NY steaks, but Charlie’s changed my mind. Dinner comes with salad, bread, two veggies and best of all, Wine! Not just one glass, all you can drink! Not only is the food great, the service is impeccable, our server,MARU, was the best, helped us with everything. Now the price. All this was $130.00 for the two of us. We left fat and happy. Do yourself a favor and skip a couple of spins on the slots and spend that on this Double Diamond!

Fabulous steakhouse with great seafood in a quiet spot at the Four Seasons. The food perfect. The staff attentive and knowledgeable with a sommelier that understands your price point needs and helps you select the perfect wine. Pricey but worth it.

Mandalay Bay one of the finest Hotels in LAS Vegas is the Home of the Finest Hotel in Vegas, The Four Seasons. Right off the Four Season quaint lobby is Charlie Palmers. I’ve always appreciated a fine bottle of wine. You won’t find a finer selection by the Glass or bottle. You may prefer a simple fruity wine or may want to drink the finest Bordeaux, Charlie’s will satisfy your desire. Charlie Palmer’s is known for there great steaks, They delivered what delicious steaks. Try there short ribs, they melt in your mouth.

We ate at the highly touted Charlie Palmer steakhouse last week while on a business trip. I would rate it as a three out of five stars. The place had the right ambience the service was excellent. We naturally had steak I found it to be very tender but it somehow missed the mark it had a bit of a taste which I couldn't place I don't know if it was the seasoning or the sauce but I know later it really didn't agree with me. My companions also agree with the assessment

As we were staying in the Delano we decided to eat here on our last night before going to a show. Boy am I glad we did. We both decided to get the ' cut of the week' which is a fixed 3 course menu with a different steak each week. The lettuce wedge starter was sprinkled with pork belly and was delicious The 14oz strip was cooked to perfection and the Thai cauliflower a delight to the tastebuds. Dessert was an ample piece of carrot cake with silky smooth coconut ice cream. Although I didn't partake of the free wine pairings my partner did and the sommelier was very good, informing her of each wine and keeping her glass topped up.

Charlie Palmer within the four seasons was recommended to us. We ordered the cut of the week 3 x course menu with wine pairings. Firstly, there was no issue with us ordering this menu, the waiter had the menu with him but gave us the usual menu and very extensive wine list. We weren’t made to feel inferior by choosing cut of the week like some suggested in their reviews on here. The restaurant was fairly quiet and the service reflected that, fast, efficient and polite. The wine pairings were fantastic, a Chilean Chardonnay for the starter was to die for. A merlot for our petite rib eye Main was also excellent and our glasses were refilled with both multiple times. We very much enjoyed the food, portion sizes and ambience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Probably one of my favorite dining experiences in Vegas. We came here last minute on Saturday night after making an Open Table reservation for 2. It just so happened to be Restaurant week so we decided to order the $50 prefix menu which included a wedge salad, surf and turf, truffle mac and cheese, carrots and dessert. I asked our server to see the wine list and much to our surprise, it was UNLIMITED WINE PAIRINGS with dinner. The server was great, the wine was pouring the entire dinner and it was probably the best meal I’ve ever had. Great idea to get people in the door because I went home and looked up their locations and was excited to see they have a CP in Napa WOO HOO! Can’t wait to go back, thanks for a great dining experience.

I got the surf and turf. I wasn't pleased with the taste of the filet. It didn't seem to be seasoned. I actually had a better filet at the Cheesecake Factory! Sauteed spinach had NO taste. The creamy horseradish tasted more like butter spread than horseradish. I'm guessing they're catering to people who lack tastebuds. Very small portions. The service and atmosphere was excellent. Just need better chefs or warn people that most people they cater to like their food bland.

While the steak was a little tough, it tasted great, as did everything else I had! The service was as expected, as the servers were quite attentive!

I first learned of CP by reading the TA travel forum for Las Vegas. We were in Las Vegas during the past week to celebrate our 30th anniversary. I was really hoping that the cut of the week menu would be one that we'd enjoy. Lucky us, the menu was perfect. Made a reservation through open table. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment and every bite. The atmosphere was intimate, our food was wonderful. Both our steaks were cooked as requested. No shortage of wine either. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Took some colleagues who were from Japan here and they loved it! Very good steak, good value, excellent service. Will go here again when back in town.

There were 3 of us for dinner. The oysters and tuna appetizers were phenomenal. The portion of the tuna tartare was more than enough for us. We all had a steak. Each one was prepared to perfection. The sides were plentiful for 3 we even had leftovers. Service was good but could have been better for the type of restaurant. We were early so there was no excuse for the lackluster attitude of the server. All in all the food out weighed the server and I would go back.

Went here with family for an anniversary dinner. Food was outstanding and the servers went out of there way to make the experience one never to forget. They also surprised us at the end with champagne and desert on the house for my wife and me. Not a cheap meal but nothing is anymore on the strip. For a special occasion I would highly recommend going here.

We were a party of four with one vegetarian and three happy carnivores. We started with the ahi tartare (very nice) and the very tall Caesar salad (also good). One amongst us had the filet mignon (judged excellent by our niece) and we shared the ample rib eye. the sommelier recommended an excellent Keever that tied the meal together. This is a low key upscale steak house that satisfied our desire for a quiet dinner with quality meat. We've been before, we'll return -- especially convenient if you are staying at the Four Seasons or Mandalay Bay.

We had a private party here, the service was excellent the food was good and the atmosphere was elegant, if you have never been here it is a little hard to find in the hotel but worth it!

We had a great meal, perfectly prepared and served by an exceptional staff! Steak, pork and sides (Brussel Sprouts and Carrots) we excellent! Ask for booth and be sure to come early and hang out at the bar for awhile with Craig! He is very knowledgeable about the menu.

We had a great experience. We made same day reservations, during "restaurant week' in Vegas. Due so a show, we had one of the last reservations on the evening. We had no trouble getting seated, and had plenty of time to finish our meals without being rushed (as we were some of the last customers of the night). We asked for the off menu, restaurant week menu which was great. For $50, we got a NY Strip, Lobster tail, 4 sides, salad, dessert and unlimited wine pairings for each course. The quality and portions were great, and service was wonderful. Would highly recommend if you are in the area of the 4 seasons.

I have been following Chef Charlie Palmer for a few years. Since I have been missing the refinement of Four Seasons ( I opened one years ago),this business trip was the perfect opportunity to experience both. I made a reservation in October for a December dinner. I also viewed the menu on line as is my wont. I decided on a baby spinach salad and branzino as my main course along with sides of mushrooms and onions plus asparagus. I asked how the branzino would be prepared because this was my first experience with this fish. I learned that it is a delicate fish and would be butterflied and sauteed. ( I appreciated learning this since I was imagining more of a cod or sea bass). The salad was good. The branzino was a bit disappointing. Because it is so delicate, there wasn't much to it. The sides could have used seasoning. I probably should have chosen roasted chicken but I was tired of chicken. Generally it was bland. It was evident to me that Chef Palmer was not on site. There's a limited dessert selection and nothing classic or even innovative. I go out for a whole meal and not just a steak. It all counts. Mignardises would been perfect with my cup of tea. Considering how much I was looking forward to this,it was a non-event. Service was professional and friendly. I would like to return or possibly try Aureole. Nonetheless the ambiance of the lovely Four Seasons was spot on. It is an oasis of calm in a flashy town.I came by cab and returned by Uber.

I dined at this restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Both meals were delicious and the staff was friendly and quick.

I realize that we went there on a very busy night, but that should not have mattered. Everything was slow: food, drinks, waitor. Everything but the feeling we were being pushed to hurry up, once everything arrived. Hey! Give me a chance to enjoy my appetizer! Don't push so hard on the wine list and lastly, your steak was below average.

We had a wonderful meal at Charlie Palmer's on Sat, April 13, 2019. Start to finish, everything was terrific. Maru was our server and she was great, always taking care of us, but not intrusive, a great gal. My friend and I each had the cut of the week. This week was to be a rib eye, but they substituted an 8oz filet, which was fine with us. We started with a beet and goat cheese salad, fabulous, then we had the filet, cooked perfectly, melt in your mouth tender, it came with 2 sides; fingerling potatoes and curry cauliflower, served family style, both were delicious. For dessert we received a piece of homemade New York Cheesecake, with berries, wow, was that ever good! With each course, we received a wine flight, and it was a good pour, not stingy at all, actually they offered more, very generous. If I didn't have to drive... :-) This whole meal changes weekly and is priced at $58.00 per person, what an amazing deal! Oh, and they validate your valet ticket, no charge for parking!! Another great reason to go to Charlie Palmer's, the Four Seasons does not try to gouge you. I have been to Charlie Palmer's many times and it has always been fabulous, it is my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. 5* A+ HIGHLY recommend.

We came here on a Tuesday evening for my daughter's 21st birthday. We asked for the cut of the week menu. I thought at $58 per person, it was an excellent deal. Red and white wine on the table the whole time. Bread, salad, two sides, a mouthwatering steak and dessert. The waiters did a wonderful job making sure we were satisfied.

We enjoyed the Cut of the Week for 2 which included an excellent petite fillet. Menu mentions bottomless wine pairings which may be a slight stretch. Staff seemed overly reserved and a bit unwilling to engage with diners.

Great name, mediocre steak. Not what one would expect from a known chef. It was a disappointment. Drinks were well made but since its a steak house, one would expect a better experience

The food and service was absolutely amazing!!! Best filet mignon I've ever had. The appetizers, salad, and dessert were wonderful!!!

Located in the Four Seasons Hotel the restaurant is well appointed and comfortable. The sound level is relatively quiet. Tables are placed reasonably separated.Service was impeccable and well paced.

We've been to this exceptional establishment many times and have always had out expectations exceeded. We walk through the main desk area of the Mandalay Bay and just down a corridor towards the Four Seasons to our kick off meal to every Vegas trip. Everything on the menu is exceptional but try the starting with a dozen oysters and trying the Cut of the Week. Spectacular steak, sides and dessert with unlimited wine pairings and you are starting your stay off in a Vegas frame of mind. Get there early as the restaurant will fill up in the evening if you are walking in without a reservation. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant from the high quality fare and top notch service of every meal to the heart shown with free meals to first responders and affected families in the recent Vegas shooting tragedy.

On a recent trip to Vegas with my sons, I went to Charlie Palmer's for the first time. My oldest son, who had been numerous times, suggested this place because it was one of his favorite places to eat in Vegas. Our experience was average at best. For starters, our waiter was preoccupied with something else and kept looking away as people at our table tried to order. When he left, we all commented on how unusual and rude it was. More importantly, the food was OK, but not anything special I would go out of my way to try again. Even my son that loves the place said he was very disappointed and would not be back. I have had the opportunity to eat at numerous great steakhouses and this was NOT one of them. In my opinion, the location/view/ambiance, service and food were all average at best. We went to Prime Steakhouse at the Bellagio last year and all felt it was superior in every way!

Charlie Palmer’s Steak Las Vegas, located inside the Four Seasons. Another favorite for the “Cut of the Week” special. It’s a 5-course prix-fixe dinner with bottomless wine for only $58 per person. Did I mention unlimited wine with your dinner? Great service, great food at a great price.

If you’ve never been to this steakhouse you have to try it. Located inside the Four Seasons-Las Vegas, Charlie Palmer’s has a nice ambience for any special occasion. Their menu is a la carte and sides are shareable. They have your usual great selection of steaks, seafood and appetizers, wine menu. The staff is friendly and attentive to whatever you need. The best part is their Cut Of The Week menu. Every week, Monday through Saturday, they present a three course dining experience which includes wine pairings for $58 pp. That menu changes every week and is worth the trip to the Strip and trying this establishment for your first time or again.

Say at the bar . Friendly bartender. Good shrimp appetizer. Tuna tartar App was under seasoned. Large serving of porterhouse steak. However under seasoned. Well grilled. Spinach side was well prepped. Delphine potatoes were excellent. Brownie dessert so so. Apple dessert delicious. Overpriced and underwhelming g especially at this price point

Lovely restaurant in Four Seasons. Food was simply excellent. Service was professional. Live music was a treat - especially the Pianist. Loved every minute.

We got to the restaurant at 18:00 and found that they are fully booked and can only fit us in at 20:30. Our own stupid fault as we should book. So do book if you plan to come here. We were kindly offer seats at the bar tho and actually it was fun as we met a semi-local who taught us more about different ways of cooking a steak. However we had to request for the Cut of the Week menu, it was not offered as part of the a la carte menu. The Cut of the Week is very good value. The food came shockingly fast, almost like eating at a fast food joint. But all very tasty and the wine paring works.

Enjoyed a great dining experience. After we were seated, we were offered complimentary champagne since we were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. That set the tone for the evening. Service was excellent and unobtrusive. I opted for the Cut of the Week and husband ordered surf-n-turf with no sides. Prior to serving my Caesar salad, the waiter asked if he could split-plate it so that I could share with husband. We were planning on doing that anyway so it was nice to not have to ask for a side plate. We both thoroughly enjoyed our entrees and the dessert was excellent (Nutella Crème Brule - does it get any better?) The COTW included wine pairings and the dessert which really makes it a complete meal. We will definitely be dining with "Charlie" the next time we're in Vegas!

Family booked it and I wasn't sure about a casino on New Years for a good diner... But the reviews ahead of me did unsettle me but i went ahead anyway and made my own opinion. Pleasantly surprised. I ordered a filet mignon that was cooed exactly to temperature with béarnaise sauce, my other half had a dietary allergy and Erick was PHEMONENAL on ensuring his meal was safely prepared and brought to the table The other couple had petit filet and everything was cooked as asked, the sides (Potato, asparagus and fries) were deliciously flavored and cooked appropriately. The waiters personality, attitude and timing were spot on! He offered a refill when it was the right time and the drinks were delicious as well. You do pay for quality and i was ok with the costs as the experience was a terrific New Years in Reno with family. By the way we had a show and Erik ensured we were fed and out the door in time to walk to the show theatre. Thank you so much or respecting our time parameters, allergies and our expectations. A+

I’m usually a capital grille fan but the filet mignon here was off the charts good. The service was very attentive and the quality was top notch. It’s kind of hidden in the four seasons hotel so I don’t know how much normal traffic they get, but I would definitely seek it out and try it

Micro portions, Macro price! The service was good, not exceptional. The food was good but for the price their are many other better choices. I ordered the “surf & turf” the steak was good but the tiny half lobster tail was a joke! Really at first I thought it was a shrimp but it came in a lobster tail. The food did come out fast but for the price we won’t go back.

Spent an evening with 13 friends mid March. The steak was excellent and the sides were also amazing. Staff were attentive and informative. Expect to spend on average incl drinks $150 each.

Well, those reviewers that wrote about being ignored were RIGHT! I couldn’t believe the ineptitude of the management and servers at what was supposed to be a classy place. Also the tables seem to be right on top of each other. Adding salt to the wounded experience was the inflated price the meal....$175.00 for two with no alcohol. Geez.

Six of us went there Feb 01, 2020 All had the special $58/person include a steak plus sides and free wine. I ordered calamari asan apply an it was the hit of the table. Service was very good as was the wine. We all agree we will definitely go back next time in Vegas

First, I used to eat here a lot and loved it, but not this time. I hated being awakened by a reminder text an hour before my reservation. I was napping before dinner. It ruined my evening. It was a second reminder text that was unnecessary. I almost cancelled the reservation due to being overly tired, and wish I had. It didn’t get better. The Heirloom Tomato, Peach, and Grilled Radicchio Salad was awful. The peaches were under ripened, the tomatoes were sliced cherry tomatoes and the Radicchio wasn’t grilled at all. The spinach salad was overpowered with bacon grease. Both of our steaks were over cooked when we requested them cooked “medium.” They were priced like prime beef, but were not advertised as prime and probably weren’t. Seemed like expensive USDA Choice. We never ordered asparagus, got it (free), but they were over cooked. I was at a total loss to understand the “Pad Thai” part of Pad Thai Cauliflower. I expected “stir fried riced cauliflower” but it was seasoned florets. However, the Truffle Mac and Cheese was fantastic. The interior was nicely decorated. The service seemed filled with gratuitous chit-chat upon arrival and departure with our server. Lovely environment.

Went there with some people for a business meeting The good Atmosphere was good. Steak flavor Spinach and mushroom sides. Nice house wine Staff was great especially the bartenders that took care of us while we waited to be seated The bad The steak was "tougher" than other higher end places. If you go through Mandalay Bay it's a maze. (Go through 4 seasons) Overall.... Good restaurant but experience wasn't as great as some other steakhouses in Vegas.

Stopped in for a steak. Its an OK steak experience. It's not that any of the dishes were bad. Far from it. Its just that they were so un-memorable. The atmosphere is somewhat boring and the bar is was rowdy for quiet evening. Pass next time.

We were expecting that a high profile steakhouse in Las Vegas would have all the aspects of their food and service perfect. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The Old Fashioned cocktails and steaks we substandard but the service was good. The Filet was under seasoned and overcooked. The signature bone-in ribeye was very thin, overcooked, and a poor cut. It did have a nice flavor but very poor in comparison to other classic steakhouses. The Old Fashioned did not have a single ice cube but crushed ice with a poor mix of other ingredients which are essential for a good classic cocktail.

I ate here last week on a business trip with several colleagues. The wine menu was great along with the dinner menu as well. Their house margarita was wonderful as well. I ordered the bone in Rib-eye. It was good and cooked almost to order. I asked for Medium, but got closer to Medium rare. That was fine and the flavor was wonderful. The desserts were also very good. We did sample all of them. Very lovely atmosphere in the restaurant.

We were in town for a short vacation with friends & family. We called early and made a reservation for 10 people @8:00 pm with ease. We arrived shortly before 8 but weren’t seated until closer to 8:30 and our party ended up with only 8 people instead of 10. We weren’t offered any option to order drinks while waiting or even given any suggestion to visit the bar area. We’ve dined at the Charlie Palmers in Reno a few times so we were hoping for the same great service and friendly staff. Unfortunately our wait staff seemed very Unknowledgeable about the menu options and never informed us that they were out of the porterhouse until we were ready to order. Since 4 of the men in our group specifically came in for this particular meal they were quite disappointed when they had to refer back to the menu to chose something else, thus making our dinner even later since they didn’t look for anything else on the menu. The waiters came by very infrequently to offer more water or to see if we wanted other drinks so we pretty much had to flag them down if/when we saw them, however they were very prompt to bring us our $1200+ check. On the plus side, our food was delicious, as expected. The drinks were also pretty strong and very tasty. The dining area was clean and spacious.

Everyone that works there is miserable and they don't listen.Last time I was there I said I would never go back but because we had our two grandsons with us who love steak we decided to give it another go. Big mistake. No atmosphere , music far too loud and servers who could care less. Never again

Adequate steak house. I recommend it for a casual night out. Not a restaurant to impress anyone but good for a date or casual family dining. Prices are as expected in a hotel on the Vegas strip (Four Seasons). Service was acceptable but not memorable.

I tried the cut of the week on Dec 1 2019 and it was well worth the $58 USD! Food was high quality and delicious, and the service was exceptional. I will be back for sure, likely every trip to Vegas!!

Came here with a few colleagues for dinner during a sales meeting. CP Steak is an upscale fine dining restaurant with high aspirations, but that is unfortunately marred by slow and slightly confused service. The positive; the steaks are very good and cooked to perfection. The sides are pretty traditional steakhouse fare all done very well. The starters provide a bit more profile to their offering, and the selection we had was all very good. I had ravioli for starter and a NY Strip with Yukon puree and sauteed spinach - all very good. Unfortunately the food was let down by the service which came across more like something interns rather than seasoned waiters would provide; they were slow, got some dishes wrong and came across a bit confused. Hopefully this was just a bad day for them, but I do think that given the price level and how they position themselves one should be able to expect a higher low-level.

They are prejudice, so lbgtq and other minorities watch out. The food was not good and the service was poor. All the other tables seemed to be getting a totally different experience than we were. It was so obvious the table beside us pitied us. The steak was ordered medium rare. It was cooked to order but was crispy on the outside and the scallop potatoes were running.

Had a wonderful evening at Charlie Palmer's bar. Restaurant is located just inside Four Seasons, easy access. Craig was our very attentive and friendly bartender. He made excellent drinks and the food was great (steak and salad). The environment was very nice and chatted with lovely people at the bar. I'm definitely returning again soon.

First time to this steak house. The food was very good. Steaks were perfectly cooked, side vegetable dishes delicious and so was dessert. Seating is a little tight.. Service at this restaurant needs attention. Waiter seemed to be to busy with little conversation. Seemed put out when we ordered the dinner for two with unlimited pouring of the wine. It’s an excellent special they offer. Anyhow we had different waiters coming to the table and we didn’t know why?? Seemed rushed and ruined the experience. I usually tip 20- 25%. Needless to say it didn’t happen. Staff need customer service training.

We had a wonderful time here. The ambience is so cozy and beautiful. Would be a great date night destination. The food was top notch! Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Four Seasons for a week over new year, and decided to have dinner at Charlie Palmers and stay in the hotel for NYE. It was awful. They had a set menu, which was fine, but food was very mediocre. Our waiter Antony was overworked and clearly did not focus on us. Drinks orders wrong, then wrong again, then the check was wrong, then wrong again, then told it was fixed but still wrong, then we were ignored. To top it all off, we were chased down when leaving and held back at the front door so the maitre'd could call the hotel front desk "to check our credit" on the $400 check I had just signed. So the most expensive meal of the week ( $400 with no alcohol) was the worst. Poor in every way and a blight on an otherwise impeccable week for us at the Four Seasons.

Long wait until served. Staff not really attentive. Steak OK, but not more. Not recommended, overpriced.

As a local I tend to prefer to eat in Downtown, but sometimes you need that special occasion place. I have had the pleasure of dining at Charlie Palmers on numerous occasions, always with a large party. Located inside the Four Seasons. This is not a cheap place, expect $400 a couple with generous drinks. The food is impeccable and beautifully presented. A great steak restaurant. Business casual dress is recommended. There is also a hidden gem of a menu known as “The Cut of The Week” about $59 for a 3 course fix price. This is available every day and changes regularly.

We sat in a small curved booth for 2, which was very nice for a romantic dinner. Service was excellent especially from our main waiter Raymond. We had the cut of the week, Prix fixe menu. This included bottomless wine pairing. This is an amazing value ! All the courses were excellent the steak was made crispy on the outside and perfectly made-to-order on the inside. The only negative was that the steak did have a little gristle in it. I assume the special doesn't get dry aged beef. Both a white and a red wine were provided and were very good. Our glasses were never left empty! We never felt rushed during our meal and wound up having a very enjoyable 2-hour dinner.

My family and I were searching for an upscale steakhouse to round out our Vegas vacation that would leave us some extra gambling money. Charlie Palmer steakhouse's Cut of the Week prix fixe dinner fit the bill perfectly! The meat was tender and cooked precisely to order, the paired wine tasted amazing, the sides were delicious and plentiful enough to feed four, and the dessert was so rich and lovely. To add to that, service was prompt and friendly. I would definitely return the next time I'm in Vegas. A hidden gem at the Four Seasons!

I had lunch here as part of a private work event. The restaurant was very nice, which I expected being in the Four Seasons. I was disappointed that they didn't have dark linen napkins as an option. I was wearing dark slacks sitting at a table with white linens. When I left I had white fuzz all over the front. The food was really good but not outstanding. Perhaps I'd been spoiled earlier in the week at other restaurants. I had the King Salmon.

Just wow.... the food and service was excellent. I couldn't have asked for better server, George. George went above and beyond to make our anniversary a wonderful and memorable experience. The food was excellent. We got the cut of the week, and it was great portions and very reasonably priced. We are not coffee drinkers but their coffee creme brûlée was very delightful. The restaurant even went above and beyond and provided us with a slice of cake for our anniversary which was so delightful. Thank you Charlie Palmer for a wonderful and fantastic evening.

Charlie Palmer is class all the way! Order the " Cut of the Week." For 58.00 per person, you will be treated to an exotic salad, the most tender steak, 2 sides to share, and 2 desserts. The evening we were there, we each had a terrific endive salad, filet mignons, mashed potatoes and crispy sweet and sour cauliflower. I was somewhat tentative as to whether I would like the cauliflower. It was an Asian take on cauliflower. A crispy sweet and sour version, that once I tasted it, I couldn't get enough of. For dessert, peanut butter-chocolate bars that were addictive. Their coffee is hot and strong. The most incredible part of the meal is that they give you unlimited red and white wines. The night we were there, they were both Portuguese wines and delightful. The wait staff and sommelier are the best. They are warm, friendly, and are there to make your evening a top-notch experience. If you are a jazz lover, they have an amazing trio that plays only on Monday nights. We were so lucky to be at Charlie Palmer the night they played. I am totally baffled why this restaurant is rated 26th for steak restaurants in Vegas. I have eaten in many of the higher rated ones, and found them to be over-priced and mediocre. The Four Seasons is a classy, sophisticated hotel. Don't let the location of this restaurant, being at the end of the strip, deter you from having a great evening.

The best meal of our Vegas stay. Ask for the ‘cut of the week’ menu. Total bargain - a delicious set 3 course meal for $59 including unlimited (yes really) paired wines to complement the starter and main. You can look up the menu online to see what it is that week. They also do a ‘MJ theatre special’ for a similar price . Lovely surroundings and great staff. My only disappointment is that we couldn’t fit in a second visit!!

No doubt this place is pricey but the steaks are amazing! The truffle Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes are a must try and for dessert the chocolate cake.

We come from a New Zealand farm and appreciate good quality steak ! This did not disappoint was suburb. The wine list was extensive and the staff attentive. Nice moody atmosphere with background jazz band. A perfect candlelit dinner.

Charlie Palmer has exceptional style, and I had two customers I wanted to make sure they knew they were appreciated. It's a very classy restaurant with a great wait staff. The food was exceptional, and the seafood appetizer tower is a must have. They were helpful with picking out the bottle of wine, and made sure we were well taken care of. Customers loved the place.

We dined their on a Monday night before going to a show. We were one of the first foursomes in the restaurant. Overall the food was very good and the service was above average. We have dined at Charlie Palmer in New York and expected nothing less. During the meal, one of our party had ordered a glass of merlot. A few minutes later one of the sommelier's came over and said they had run out of merlot. He suggested a Portugese Malbec, unscrewed the cap of the bottle to let her try, and when she liked it poured her a glass and left. Why this matters will show up shortly. So why the one star review? We received our bill quickly paid without reviewing it and ran to catch our show. The next day we reviewed the receipt and found that not only had we been charged $15.00 for the glass of wine, but we were also charged $150.00 for open wine. I called the restaurant on Tuesday and spoke with an assistant manager. I gave her the bill number, the reservation information and the issue. She said she would review it with the sommelier when he came in and get back to us immediately. We heard nothing. I called again on Wednesday. The same assistant manager answered and said that she had put the information on her manager Phil's desk the night before and she would follow up with him again and someone would get back to me ASAP. We again heard nothing. I called yet again on Thursday. This time a male voice answered who happened to be Phil. When I explained the situation, he indicated that he had just heard of this Wednesday night at close. He had instructed someone to email us a form to fill out to reverse part of the charge. Not surprisingly nothing was emailed to us and they did not call us (although they had all our contact numbers). He then said he could take the information from me over the phone and would finally get it taken care of. When I explained our frustration at having to call 3 straight days without receiving the courtesy of a response, being overcharged 150 plus tax as well as overtipping on an inflated balance, they really could not seem to care. The $150 charge was finally reversed 2 days later. No tax reversal; no overtip reversal; no apology. Apparently they are so busy that customer service is not important. Based on the abundance of steakhouses in Las Vegas, I do not why they have that attitude but rest assured we will not be going back to the Las Vegas location, or any other Charlie Palmer location at this point any time soon. While we clearly should have taken the time to review our receipt before leaving, from that point forward Charlie Palmer's did everything they could to frustrate us and get us to just walk away. Good food but BAD TASTE.

Dined here for business with a group of 6. Our waiter was spot on knowing the menu and suggesting drink pairs for what we ordered. I ordered the filet and the temperature was right on. Environment was intimate and you didn’t feel like the group was on top of another table. That’s hard to find sometimes. Noise level was not noisey and you comfortably carry on a conversation without hesitation. Would definitely come back.

My wife and I ate here on weekend night. The restaurant was somewhat busy, but we were seated on time. To give you a little background, we had the winning bid in a charity auction for a weekend in Vegas and a gift certificate to this restaurant was part of the package. Along with that, we were told to inform the restaurant of this when making the reservation. For some reason, and I assuming, it was expected that people with a gift certificate will not exceed the amount of the gift certificate, so the service came across as condescending. By the way we far exceeded the value of the gift certificate. I don’t think it even covered the cost of the champagne. I never like the feeling that the waiter is doing me favor taking care of us. The food was good as expected, but not exceptional. Nothing about the meal stood out. I have eaten here in the past when staying at the Four Seasons and had fond memories. This time all I can remember was the service. And that is not a pleasant memory.

The staff wasn’t the friendliest group of people around. They were not bad just not what you expect in this price range. The shrimp cocktail was also ok. I had a ribeye and it was fine but not high end like Ruth’s Chris or Strip Steak. It was ok. Not more.

Nice ambience with a live 3 pc jazz band to set the mood. Had a lovely meal with friends. Service was excellent and food was quite good... although renowned for their steaks, the salmon was good as well as the Yellowfin tuna tartare!!

Last night my husband and I had the privilege of dining at Charlie Palmer Steak and had an exceptional night that will long be remembered. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and all sides were exceptional and although the meal was extraordinary, what really made the night special was the service. Our server was professional and well trained and when Phil Hajos, the General Manager, introduced himself and stopped by a few times to be sure all was going well, we truly felt like VIPs. Next trip to Las Vegas, I will be bringing my entire group to this wonderful steakhouse and will utilize the Private Dining Room. I highly recommend Charlie Palmer Steak when you are in Las Vegas.

Menunwas promising but the food did not live up to it. Both steaks, a filet amd a NY strip had no flavor. The filet was tender but the strip was very tough. Cooked appropriately just bland. Order the extra toppings if you want flavor. The sides looked good but again lacked flavor. Very over proced for the quality of food. Servi e was mediocre. Not good for a Saturday evening in Vegas. There are better choices.

Well, this place has been good in the past. Not great... but we decided to give it a try once again. The jazz band was pretty good and the atmosphere was nice. The drinks were ridiculously over priced - $18 - $30 for an average grade bourbon or scotch. We were in no hurry but just wanted a nice evening. What we got was an average ribeye and a cold filet. When you step up to a steak house your hope is that it is delicious, hot and on time. The potatoes al graten were average. We let the waiter know the steak was cold and ended up waiting another 15 minutes and he brought out the new filet that was charred on the outside and medium on the inside. Not what you want on a filet! Not to mention they took away the potatoes al graten with the filet. Overall it was just disappointing meal. I never mind spending money for a good meal but when it’s not good and they drop the ball on a steak and your at a steak house it is unacceptable. They did credit the one steak and potatoes but it seemed to take another 15 minutes to get our check. We just wanted to get out of there so we left irritated and felt cheated out of a good meal which is what we look forward to in Vegas. If your at Mandalay I strongly recommend eating at Strip Steak and you can never go wrong with Rivea on top of the Delano. Cheers!

Group of 12 ate here May 4, 2018. We ate from the fixed menu of a 3 course meal with unlimited white/red wine pour for $58. We were not sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. Our steaks were large portion, perfectly cooked/seasoned along with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The salad was very good, fresh and also a large portion. The peanut butter bar dessert was ok but that maybe because I was already quite full. The service was excellent. Restaurant was contemporary and ambience was very nice for dinner.

A party of 10 went for a birthday meal. Not one of the party could fault the service or food in anyway. The steaks were all cooked to perfection which in itself was amazing considering our party we from blue to well done and everything in between. The lobster ravioli was the highlight starter. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Whenever we go and stay at the Four Seasons, this is a place we have to eat at. Steaks are fantastic, the service is awesome, and love the drinks as well as the bread.

This is a quiet, classy restaurant with a traditional American Steak House menu. The service is quick and the food is a cut above. They also serve a full menu at the bar! Quick and Easy.

The filets and the New York strips were terrible, mushy and not served on a hot plate as you would expect from a high end steak house. I don't believe that the quality was Prime, probably Choice or previously frozen. Creamy horseradish sauce was a blob of sour cream. This is the worst steak house along with the Morton's chain that we've eaten at. The service was good, the pricing is fair market value but go elsewhere if you want a good steak.

It is a steak house and they very good beef and meat. The beef was very good and tender. The service was very good,

Maybe it was the crazy evening before (where I gave one star to that establishment) but this was a great serene little oasis in Las Vegas. Classy, quiet, pampered. We went traditional - side by side booth, martinis, fine wine, fine steak (rare), and a few quality sides. Service was excellent for us. Sommelier came by early and made a great suggestion in the (relatively) moderate price range. Steak was perfect. Martini cold and dry and generous. All in all, met our expectations and set us up for a great weekend.

Loved this place. Had a group of 16 for business. Arranged a wonderful dinner all around. Ambiance was great. Not too loud. Would certainly return.

Was attracted by their ‘Cut of the week’ menu which included bottleless wine pairing and at a price of $58 plus tax. Starter was red leaf salad. Salad was fresh and walnut was very good but a bit too much dressing. The salad portion was as big as a main. They paired it with a Portugal white and it was good. This was followed by a ‘petite ribeye’ but it was 12oz. Tasted ok and I could only finish half. Told the waiter I did not like their pairing and he quickly gave me another one which was better. no comment on the dessert which I skipped as usual. When checking bill, good to see no specific amount or percentage recommendation for tipping.

Charlie is OK. The atmosphere is good and the staff are VERY polite and good. The steaks, in my opinion, are lacking. I ordered a s NY Strip Medium plus. The outside of the NY strip was burnt. I expressed this afterward. I was so hungry I ate most of the middle. No apology was given. The sides were great and the bar is good.

Ambience was nice. Staff was very pleasant when they came to table but they don't stick around very long. Presentation of meal was good and cooked to temperature but tasted too salty. Saltiness extended to vegetables and salad (wife could not eat salad with vinaigrette dressing because it was too salty).. Fruit and cheese cake were good but would have expected real ice cream instead of soft serve. Overpriced for two people at $200 and no alcohol.

Yet another great evening. Cut of the week is such a good deal especially on a Monday with the live jazz

Lovely atmosphere, great service, outstanding steak! My husband & I both ordered the "Cut of the week". Ask if your server does not mention it. $58 price fix changes weekly. We had arugala salad, NY strip, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, and dessert with BOTTOMLESS wine pairings, both white & red. Our server Jimmy returned often to pour. Great evening! We will absolutely return on our next Vegas trip.

Our family went to Palmer’s for dinner on December 30th. The restaurant was busy, but we were seated within a few minutes of arriving. Service was excellent throughout the night, although seemed a little rushed as if they were wanting to get us in and out. Everyone had steak - filet, New York strip, bone-in strip, and everyone was very pleased with their steak. Excellent size and taste. My wife asked for a Petite Fillet, which is not on the menu, but is available. We shared a number of sides. Potatoes and fries were outstanding. Asparagus was okay - a little limp. Cauliflower was terrible - with a “buffalo wing” sauce and while I like hot spicy food, this was over the top and the sauce completely destroyed the taste of the cauliflower...certainly one to stay away from! None of our party of five liked it at all. We had a great sommelier who recommended a really good and reasonable priced wine and was a delight to talk to. Yes, an expensive but very enjoyable meal was had by all.

Located at the far south end of what most people consider “The Strip,” a concealed attachment to Mandalay Bay, lofty price point and lack of gambling making it the sort of hotel inhabited by mostly well-heeled jetsetters, it seems safe to say that Four Seasons Las Vegas is not a place most tourists will seek out, yet for over a decade Charlie Palmer Steak has stood its ground despite no lack of nearby competition. Styled as a classic American Steakhouse and one of five for the restaurateur behind Aureole, a location directly off the lobby and next to Veranda placing the deceptively intimate room in prime position for those arriving via Four Seasons valet or the Mandalay Bay staircase, it is immediately upon approach that guests are greeted by a hostess at the podium, her subtle manner of dress and waiters in suits a far cry from the short skirts and jeans worn elsewhere and largely mirrored by diners. Elegant without being ‘stuffy,’ subdued lighting and linens mixed with leather, wood and patterned carpets creating a refined ambiance that is unfortunately subverted by overly loud pop-tunes and the gleam of sports television at the bar, it was shortly after seating at a rounded booth that a man approached offering Cocktails, the list of top-shelf classics enticing but set aside in favor of the Sommelier-suggested Wine Pairing. Probably best-known by ‘foodies’ for the “Cut of the Week” Tasting menu, a three-course Prix-fixe that changes weekly and offers Salad, Beef, Sides, Wine and Dessert for just $58 per person, it was after perusing options that the decision was instead made to give the kitchen carte-blanche, Chefs Eduardo Lalo Saavedra and Tomas Espino rolling out a nine-course Dinner over the course of 130 minutes. Not the sort of place for tableside theatrics or imaginative reinterpretation, Charlie Palmer’s self-designated “Progressive American” cuisine instead focused on pristine ingredients treated with respect to yield great flavor, it was with a glass of Rose that house-baked Bread arrived prior to course one, the small cubes of Cornbread sweet, crumbly and addictive while others were soft and fluffy, the arrival of Chef-selected Sashimi unfortunately leaving little time to enjoy the sparkling Val de Mer as drapes of Yellowtail and Hamachi dressed lightly with Soy paired far better with a semi-sweet Riesling. Making short work of the six slices of Fish with Chopsticks and finishing the Wine sip-for-bite, the pours requested as half-normal volume given limited tolerance, it was with golden 2015 Kracher Beerenauslese coating the palate that Chef Saavedra’s Torchon of Foie Gras was spread on buttered Toast, the classic pairing expectedly working well as did White Grenache with Short Rib Ravioli, though the texture of the filling was a little dry and may have been better were the Meat shredded. Progressing a little too quickly, the presentation of a Bibb Lettuce Salad with Beer that was declined in favor of unpleasantly sour Sauvignon Blanc providing an opportunity to slow the kitchen down by cutting Greens at a leisurely pace, it was shortly after the last bits of smoky Bacon were forked up that a generous slice of Ora King Salmon was joined by 2016 Talley Chardonnay, the smooth citrusy profile playing exceptionally well off the flaky Fish and also quite nicely off wilted Chard dressed in vibrant Vinaigrette. Marking the final savory course with a serrated blade and Syrah, an off-menu array of Charlie Palmer Steak’s Prime USDA Beef accompanied by two ounces of A5 Kagoshima Wagyu plus Root Vegetables, Mushrooms and Truffles one of the most beautiful and delicious Steak presentations in recent memory, it was as Coffee was offered that the Sommelier presented 2014 Dashe Late Harvest Zinfandel, the thick Purple Wine from Sonoma County creating a sort of Peanut Butter and Jelly combination with Charlie Palmer’s “Candy Bar” though perhaps a bit too heavy for the Mango Panna Cotta that is virtually weightless but texturally pleasing in support of Sorbet and cooked Persimmon. Unable to pass-up Apple Pie, the ten-minute baking time welcomed as Coffee was sipped at the end of a fairly heavy and fast meal, it should probably be unsurprising that Charlie Palmer Steak’s version of the American classic is a beautiful rendition given the quality of his produce, but the true star of the show is actually the tangy Crème Fraiche Ice Cream that makes a fine dance partner for Brown Butter Streusel and Caramel. ****Easily seen as just another ‘me too’ Steakhouse in a city where every hotel has to have one, but in reality the sort of contemporary American restaurant where great ingredients are showcased in a manner that is accessible to a wide variety of customers at a price that is far more accessible than many, Charlie Palmer Steak has withstood the test of time for good reason and with Chef Saavedra at the helm there is no reason to think that is going to change anytime soon.

Charlie Palmers was recommended to us and it delivered. They have a wonderful prix fixe menu with set dishes that are seasonal. These prix fixe menu was very reasonable and came with bottomless wine pairings through the dessert. The meat was done to perfection, the service was on point and everything, this includes creamed spinach was done wonderfully. The creamed spinach was fresh and lightly creamed so you could really taste the spinach. There was not one thing I would have changed. The wine was plentiful and they will keep coming and coming through out the salad and main course. The rest of the menu also looked wonderful, though for the price, the prix fixe was the way to go. This restaurant was in Four Seasons and was a great choice prior to going to a show in a nearby casino. I would highly recommend for a nice meal.

Charlie Palmer Steak is one of the finest in Vegas. Edgar the maitre’d and Allen our server, treated us so well. Steaks are superb. Decor is class modern. Worth the trip.

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary at Charlie Palmer. We arrived 45 min early from our reservation and they graciously accommodated us. They gave us a complimentary glass of champagne and we had an awesome meal. The foie gras appetizer was awesome. The filet was cooked to perfection and they were large. Great service as well! I recommend for a special event.

Really a solid place to dine if you want to grab a steak and not work yourself through a big casino. Just off the lobby of the Fours Seasons, this oasis on the strip is warmly lit with great service and a traditional menu for a great steakhouse. Sommelier helped navigate the wine list and made great choices, they crafted a dish for my picky eater son with success - great fish and steak for entrees. Not mind blowing or trendy, just solid choice for steak outside of a casino on the strip.

From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we were surrounded by smiling, welcoming staff. The decor is classy and simple, which allows you to focus on the beautiful food. As we sat down, we were met by our waiter, Jerry, who immediately offered his suggestions of what to order. We decided to indulge in the Cut of the Week, a special, off the menu 3 course meal, paired with wine for $58! (I know! Crazy!) We added the Oysters as an appetizer and they were fantastic! There were so many people giving their attention to our experience. Tony, the expeditor, delivered our oysters and checked in to be sure everything was ok every time he delivered any food near us. In addition, the sommeliers, Edgar and Brian, continuously filled our glasses with the outrageously delicious paired wines. The white was crisp and light to go along with our salads and the red was a Malbec that paired perfectly with our petite (although it was giant) New York Strip. The manager Phil also checked in on us, offering stories about Charlie and the restaurant, smiling at us every time he walked past. We really felt like we were part of the Charlie Palmer family. Even down to the busser, Heidi, who packaged our leftovers (which there were a lot!). Everything was presented in a way that not only delicious to the palate, but beautiful to our eyes. Each bite was a delight. The attention from the staff was what made this experience the best we had in our Vegas. I was so glad that we planned this our last night. We will be back every trip to Vegas now. Highlightly recommended. Be sure to make reservations and go early so you get all the attention we did! Our reservation was at 6 pm and we left around 9 pm. Thank you Charlie Palmer!

My wife & I had gone to Mandalay Bay to go to another restaurant which was full so we went here as an alternative. I had shorts & a t-shirt (designer) & the missus was her usual glam self. Looking round I did feel a bit under dressed but as I was on holiday thought it was no big deal. When we placed our order the waiter asked how I wanted steak cooked & as I answered medium had the gall to then explain what it meant as if I had never had a steak before. I felt this to be condescending & was annoyed by the attitude of the guy. We paid $260 to be patronised just because I had shorts on as far as I'm concerned.

Hosted a business dinner for15 high-level clients. Impeccable service, delicious food, fantastic atmosphere for business and making money — amazing amazing amazing BUTTER served with the bread.

Had dinner at Charlie Palmer's and it was excellent. We ordered the cut of the week which consisted of a beet salad, New York strip, garlic mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and creme brulee for dessert. It includes a wine pairing with each course. The salad was good. The steak was larger than I expected and cooked to perfection. We plan to eat here whenever we're in town.

The filet cut is very generous and well prepared. Service excellent. When you get that up scale it gets difficult to achieve exceptional statues amongst your peers. Should have eaten at the bar because I saw that USC vs ND football was on. There is no disappointment here.

My husband and I dined during Restaurant Week (local charity event). We had a three-course dinner with wine pairings... Our first course was poached egg atop of spinach salad with a bacon vinaigrette (Yum). Our Main course was a New York strip steak with a stuffed Maine Lobster tail on top (Hello? How amazingly delicious) Our final course was Creme Brulee and strong piping-hot coffee. It was a magical evening, and a nice escape from the busy restaurants. Everything was perfect. Can't wait to return again.

Very disappointing dinner. I had really high expectations based on reputation and reviews. We ordered two filets medium rare. We received 1 cooked medium and the other was medium well. They were both dry. I think what shocked us both the most was the lack of seasoning. I cant remember the last time I dined somewhere and felt the need to use salt and pepper and to make things worse, they don’t provide seasonings on the table. Because you shouldn’t need any. I’m going to guess that they were having an off night or this place wouldnt be so popular. They offered new filets but we didn’t want to have to wait because our reservation was already so late in the evening. The service, on the other hand, was very friendly. They comped our drinks and provided desert, which was really nice but the dining experience just left us both very disappointed.

I'm on a quest to eat at most of the steakhouses in Vegas and I had yet to try Charlie Palmer. It is in a quiet part of the Four Seasons Hotel and doesn't seem like a huge restaurant (at least from where we were seated). The tables seemed overly packed together, but they were fairly busy. As there were only two of us we were seated at a tiny table (barely enough room for the bread, water, and a beverage). It is a simple menu, which I do appreciate, with the steakhouse classics. The service felt hurried and was frankly, a bit inattentive. After we ordered we only saw our waiter after the meal for potential dessert and to drop off the bill. The food was good, but not outstanding. The filet was cooked quite well, but the ribeye was a bit too charred for my liking. I did appreciate the price point, very reasonable, especially for Vegas. Overall, everything was fine, but it just doesn't stand out in a crowded restaurant scene.

First time eating at CP, my favorite bartender at Delano was telling us about the "Cut of the Week" at a fixed price. Seeing how our special occasion dinners can easily top $200 with wine, we decided to give this a try. This weeks special included a 12 ounce NY Strip. It was massive in size, and perfectly cooked. The salad was fresh, and the white and red wines were tasty. It was funny, we were sitting in the last booth nearest the bar, so we were enjoying some good old rock and roll while waiting for our main course to arrive. When our steaks arrived and I was getting ready to cut into my steak I distinctly remember hearing Led Zepplins Kashmir in the background, and thinking to myself what a truly unique experience this has been. We finished our desert to Jimmy Hendrix, not only was our wine matched to our meal, so was the music! We will be coming back...

We have eaten here many times and were always pleased. The food, service and friendly staff kept us coming back... of course the unlimited wine with dinner (prix fix) may have something to do with it. We looked forward to learning of their "cut of the week" and alway ate here at least once every visit to Vegas. On our last three visits here the food was not up to par. On our latest visit we noticed our steaks had a rather spoiled odor and we brought it the the manager’s attention. His reaction was to inform us the steaks were purchased yesterday and couldnt be any fresher. He did remove them from the bill but charged us for the salads and sides we had nibbled on. He was not very empathetic or accomodating about our concerns and we felt he could have handled the situation better. We will not dine here again.... what a shame.. we used to look forward to CP’s as part of our Vegas vacations....

From the very start of this dining experience it felt like fine dining. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly and professional staff. Elegant without being stuffy. We opted for the COTW and we enjoyed every moment of our dining experience. There were six of us joining together for a family reunion from different parts of the United States and each of us agreed that this was the best meal we had during our five day trip. Without question we will look forward to our next visit at Charlie Palmer's!

I ate there twice on a recent visit to LV and was impressed with each meal. I strongly recommend the ribeye steak as it is done to perfection. Nice setting within the Four Seasons which seems a world away from the smoke filled casinos.

We had good service and good food. They must be stepping up their service based on other reviews I've seen. We both had the filet and ordered the mac'n'cheese and street corn as sides. They were large enough to share. Street corn was especially delicious. Steaks were perfectly cooked. A good first impression of food in Vegas.

We have been there a couple of times and never had a bad meal. The steaks are melt in your mouth good!! The char on them this time was a little too much, but still tasted fantastic. It is a little hard to find as it is in the Four Seasons Hotel connected to Mandalay Bay. There is a hallway from Mandalay reception desk that will take you there. For sure the next time we are in Las Vegas we will visit this restaurant again !!

Overall great experience. Food was very good (if slightly under seasoned) and service top notch. I would prefer a larger selection of wines by the glass, but that is just me. The steak was as good as anything I have had and the server was very helpful in assisting us from over ordering (so nice to see in this day and age). Highly recommended in a haven of tranquility - sometimes you just need to escape the madness of Vegas.

We had a late night reservation here after a show. We went for the Cut of the Week. This is a special not on their menu. The cocktails were superb, the food was excellent. The Cut of the Week is a pre fixe menu with wine accompanied. The meal was perfect. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the sides were great and the dessert was yummy. Even the included wines were tasty. So why 4 stars instead of 5? The music playing was like a radio station. It did not fit the restaurant or it’s anbi.

We were three couples (not on expense account). We all had steaks. Absolutely excellent. Service really great. They treat you special. We’re local and our favorite place and we had two out-of-town couples along with us and they loved it. Made us look good. Steaks are prime and perfectly prepared. Mashed potatoes are the perfect compliment, as are spinach and mushrooms. Mac and cheese a true treat. Sommelier suggested wines that complimented the steaks well without busting our bank. Has a wine list with great wines at multiple price points. Deserts were enjoyed by all. Looking forward to another visit. Recommend to any who are looking for a great business or pleasure dinner.

Our favorite steakhouse in Vegas. The food is fantastic -- the steaks are awesome, as you might imagine...but my wife and I are hooked on the Caesar's salad. It's very distinctive and delicious! Make certain you have time to have a drink at the bar. The staff there knows bourbon like no one else in Vegas -- and make fantastic drinks. There are a myriad of steakhouses in Vegas, and when you live here, you have a lot of selection. We keep going back to Charlie Palmer's because of the food...and the people!

Went to Charlie Palmer's for my husbands 40th birthday dinner and it was delish! The food and service was amazing and we would definitely come back for sure!

My Wife, I and another couple stopped in for dinner on a recent pre-Christmas Las Vegas visit. As I write this I do not recollect the atmosphere all that well. This would mean it left no impression either way. We all ordered the special. This is usually not my play but with others going that route I did not want to be extravagant. Service was very good. My cocktails very good. However, my Steak was just OK. The sides were unimpressive. Based on value my dinner was fine. However, there are way better Steak options not only in Vegas but at the attached Mandalay Bay.

A large group of had a business dinner at Charlie Palmer’s Steakhouse at the Four Seasons. The salad starter was fresh but a bit unimaginative but the steak was excellent. Friendly staff were very efficient

Had a very nice meal at Charlie Palmer. Disappointed that they didn't have a reisling wine by the glass but my martini was a good substitute. Really good bernaise sauce for my filet and side dishes and dessert were excellent!

Has a reservation for 7pm on a Friday night. Place was full which is a good sign We ordered their cut of the week special which is $58 for 3 courses and bottomless wine. Food was very good and the 3 courses with a bread basket was more than enough. Wines were ok. The Portuguese white was a miss. The South African red blend was far more palatable so we stuck to that for the remainder of the meal Service was a bit of a comedy if I’m honest. From the sommelier spilling the red over the table ( and just putting a napkin on top ) to him not knowing where the wine was from, to the wrong bill being issued three times and us getting someone else’s credit card back. Overall, the food made up for it so pleased we went. Photos included to show the courses and the presentation

We were there this last Monday. It happened to be Restaurant Week and the special menu was offered for even cheaper than the Cut of the Week including the wine pairings. It is totally a steal! The menu was surf and turf (lobster and filet. My husband is allergic to shellfish so they offered him a larger steak as a substitution. Everything was delicious! The service was impeccable. The courses were well-timed and the sommelier kept our glasses full. I think this is the best deal in Vegas!

Loved Charlie Palmer. The food was fantastic, I'd definitely recommend it. The service was great too.

4 people went to eat and celebrate a birthday. All four of us ordered steak and baked potatoes. We received 3 potatoes and when we brought it to their attention, they brought another one out. We did not receive any type of apology for the wait. After dinner we were going to order dessert. The waiter asked the two men at our table what they would like. Never asked the women. We had to call him back to add our desserts. Our bill was $400.00 before the tip. My complaint is with the waiter, not the food. Food was very good.

Had the seafood tower which is rather small portions for the price but huge bowls of sauce, which is weird. Bartender was great though! Have a piano but no musician playing just loud thumping music which doesn’t fit the ambiance. Won’t be back.

Wonderful meal - starting with the wine sommelier who helped us select the perfect wine to the salads and tuna tartare to the perfectly tender ribeyes. Done exactly as asked - medium rare. Pricey but worth every penny.

Having dined at Charlie Palmer a number of times, I can honesty say that this is my favorite steak restaurant in Las Vegas. From the modern room, to the impeccable service, and the interesting menu options, you will not be disappointed. I am particularly fond of the braised short ribs and the truffle baked potato. Coupled with a great Kettel One martini and a glass of Cabernet, you will be in food heaven!

Vacationing with 2 other couples. Went to dinner here. Friendly, inviting atmosphere. Nice round table. Had reservations. A little noisy plus there was a band. Made it a little hard to hear each other. Our server was slow. We ended up pouring our wine etc. Not top notch. The food was excellent! I had a filet. It was just the at I ordered and perfect! Juicy, well seasoned, tender delicious! The au gratin potatoes were creamy, cheesy and amazing ! Also, mushrooms and Brussel sprouts. The mashed potatoes were good too. Salmon was excellent!

Comfortable, but nothing special. They have a specialty cocktail list. I ordered the barrel-aged drink. They were out of it. I ordered a bottle of wine, they were out of it. I ordered another bottle of wine, they had it. My steak tasted like it had not a speck of salt on it. Sides were "ok". Service was "ok". Ambiance was hotel restaurant, no better no worse. I ate here twice, and it was fine, but in retrospect, I wish I had tried another restaurant.

This is a gem, the atmosphere is wonderful and the service is great. They have the best corn bread I have had in years. Your main entree is always cooked to perfection, and the wines are paired well with your meals.

My boyfriend made reservation at this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. The atmosphere was very romantic but very dark to see in , definitely I would renovate the whole restaurant. The music was out of place, and was playing loudly at the bar. The service was great which was the only good thing about the restaurant. Now we get to the main part the food. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! For the price he paid I had better meal in my home state of North Carolina in Raleigh called Sullivan’s Steakhouse little bit less the cost. Matter of fact I had the same cut of steak a NY strip which I usually don’t get at Nana’s steakhouse in Durham, NC last weekend was way , way, way better than the NY strip last night at Charlie Palmer’s. The steak last night was like kind burnt on top, it was tough, more liked cooked med rare and not medium. The strip I had at another restaurant last weekend was tender, juicy, wasn’t burnt on top and cooked evenly. The potato au gratin was ok could been better. The chocolate cookies with caramel was good very good. Soft, chewy and rich. I would not come back again. I recommend to skip this restaurant if you are going for steak and definitely try other steakhouses in Vegas there are plenty of them. This restaurant was voted the best steakhouse in Vegas one time. What happened?!

At the 4 seasons Hotel, go on a Monday night when it turns into a Jazz club. The food is expensive, but well worth it and the Jazz group was first class. Will go again on our next visit.
Okay
The ambiance was lovely. We had a wonderful booth. We ordered a porterhouse steak and they tried to accommodate us since we like our steaks cooked differently so it came out medium rare and then they just cooked the pieces that my husband wanted medium. So they do aim to please and work with you. Unfortunately we are spoiled by Peter Luger in NYC and the steak here did not compare. That would not prevent me from returning to Charlie Palmer and ordering a different cut. Another tip is to go there on a Monday evening when they have a jazz trio. They were excellent.
