Good foot overlooking sports book

By Cyndi K |

Loved the food here and it's a great place to sit and watch the screens in the sports book. Everything our party ordered was good from Macaroni and Cheese to the fish.

Good Late Night Meal

By Creekstone4505 |

After the show we stopped in for a bite to eat. You can people watch as it sits in the casino next to the sports book. All the action is on the huge TV screens. The food was good, we shared a Philly Cheese Steak which was very tasty and some house made chips which were thin and crispy. The drinks are well made at the adjacent bar.

Average food, great setting

By George Y |

The attraction here is the ability to watch your favorite sporting event while you eat decent bar food and drink beers or shakes. They have all the things you would expect with an emphasis on burgers. Fish and chips were average, others enjoyed their burger and fried chicken. I really liked the open plan and the bright feel. No more dark and smoky sports book, everything is clean and bright.

Very $$$$

By kidflemingo |

My wife and I were staying at the Wynn and since our room wasn't ready we decided to have lunch here. I wish that we would have went somewhere else. The place claims to have amazing burgers but I was very disappointed. The burgers were overcooked, small and dry. Even the egg on top of my burger was overcooked. The fries were the best part meal but they gave me garlic breath from hell. I was not happy with the meal and even more unhappy when the bill came. Two hamburgers, one order of fries and 2 sodas was $75 I will never eat here again.

Good food, right beside the sports book

By KYTraveler |

The food was good and seating was right beside the sports book area, so you had a great veiw of multiple screens and lots of sports to watch while eating. Family friendly, too!

Good Food, Great Sportsbook

By smartbiz46 |

They changed this from the last time I was at the Wynn/Encore. They opened up the restaurant (used to be like a smaller sandwich shop) and made it into a bar/restaurant with a great view of all the games you ever wanted to watch.

Burger and a Beer

By Gabo R |

Arrived to our hotel and we were starving, decided to grab a bite over Charlie's. I had a burger, so did my dad and we both loved them. We shared some fries and were quite full with a beer on the side. Nice option to grab something to eat easily friends!

I hate being gouged

By David J |

I was a captive audience for lunch while staying at the Wynn. This place is ridiculous. Pedestrian draft beers for $10.50-$11.50. Pedestrian food for $14.50-$28.50. I'm talking about hamburgers, salads, chicken wings and nachos. These are in no way gourmet or unusual offerings, just basic bar food. This place is just a hotel/casino money grab. If you have time to leave the property, do so.

Tasty tasty

By Tony S |

After a morning playing poker at the Wynn we decided it was good time... and charlie’s was the choice .. I had the pulled pork sub... so tasty ... o’h and fries .... staff are helpful and friendly... plus it showed sports on plenty of different tv’s... what more could you want? Price is reasonable for an eatery in a large hotel ..would recommended

good food and location

By Sandeep S |

it is basically a fast food type of food serving burgers and sandwich plus excellent cocktails as well as a lot of varieties of brewed beers> the service is good and fast and the portions are big >good for a change

fun and easy

By JenniB76 |

awesome nachos and the staff are great! They have a great spot at the bar to oversea giant screens if you're into sports

Not Too Impresses

By cnormand |

Service is good and nice atmosphere. I had the Caesar Chicken salad. No effort was put into preparing this salad. Didn’t have much dressing. Very expensive for what I got.

Skip the nachos, slow service

By Dashlucky |

Late night dining options are few at the Wynn so we happened upon Charlies. The nachos were really awful- canned cheese, premade guacamole, etc. Service was quite slow for being one of only 10 other tables. I wouldn’t go back.

friendly service but not great food

By 723jackie |

I was disappointed in my chicken california sandwich. The chicken was dry, there was no mayo on the sandwich, the lettuce was minimal. The only good thing was the avocado.

Sorry Mr Wynn, disappointed!

By RescuedVegan |

It's a Happy Meal for adults. Very disappointed with this. Came to Vegas whilst on our Road Trip, just for three days. I was advised by concierge, that we were unable to book a table ANYWHERE in the Wynn, that evening. We're Vegan, and we wanted to try some fine dining, or at least something which felt like we were out for the evening. Sadly, only option offered was Charlie's. Very noisy surroundings, server pleasant but a bit overbearing (even by Vegas standards), and the Wynn Burger?..... $9 yes, I know it's $9 but i'd rather have paid $39 for a decent adult meal. Totally missed the boat here. Sadly, the part of my holiday I really wanted to eat loads and be treated, put me off totally. :( P.S.... not everyone wants a milkshake with their dinner!

Charlie's is a Great Place to Relax and Grab a Bite

By gogogirl2018 |

I am flummoxed by the previous reviewer's statements. My sister and I had a great late night meal here. I so enjoyed watching old videos of Man O' War winning a race on the huge screens at the bar, while eating a (surprisingly!) very healthy Super Grain Salad. My sister also liked her meal. Service was attentive and everything was awesome! Just like Charlie would have wanted it...

Great burgers

By pg082018 |

Because its in the Wynn, it's 20 USD for a burger. The burger we had was really tasty and it's the least expensive spot to eat in the Wynn.

Good for sandwiches and quick meals

By paul303030 |

The menu was quite good and the food was surprisingly excellent, which is not what I've experienced at other major hotels on the strip. A little on the pricy side, however.

Average and pricey

By Palmeat |

A sports bar. Busy at most times, particularly when football is being screened. Noisy (which may be a positive for some). $100 for a burger, fries and chicken wrap + cokes was excessive.

Menu Challenges

By Delta E |

Food quality is excellent. The problem is the menu. No standards. No club sandwich. Nothing simple. Just a group of seemingly disjointed items. Perhaps they were favorites oh the namesake but it needs work. Multiple occasions serve not up to usual Wynn standards.

Great for sports fans.

By Rantablin |

Tables overlook a bank of screens that cover all sorts of sporting activities, football, horse racing, soccer, etc. With a good variety of sandwiches, salads and other entrees. Large portions suitable for sharing but fairly pricey!

Great spot to watch a game

By Susan Hutch |

We booked a table to watch the boxing. Charlies overlooks the massive screens in the sports bar. I would suggest you book a table and ask to be seated near the rail close to the screen if you really want to watch something. The service was fast and friendly and the food was good. Typical bar type food (wings, burgers ect)

Average

By scotth1959 |

Charlie's seemed like a good spot (and it is) with little or no wait and an open and cheery atmosphere. Food was OK but a little expensive for what you get. It was just OK.

hambugers, beer sports all around

By localeater2016 |

try the burger in a bowl- salad with dressing and a burger on top of the salad. Very tasty. good beer selection.

Unbelievably average food for the price

By GatoRat |

The food and service weren't bad until the price is considered. For what my friend and I paid, I expected something significantly better than what was delivered. It was edible, but not as good as you'd get at any number of gourmet burger places at a third the price.

Bring Appetite.....

By RobertGraber |

Went there before going to see the “Reve” show at the Wynn. A lot of food so bring your appetite. Was very busy but food was served fresh & hot. If your a sports fan this is for you. The sports book is right next to restaurant so you can watch pretty much any sport that’s being played.

Just ok food

By Suzpea |

Ate one night at this location at the wynn just mediocre ok for a drink with nice drinks menu but food just ok nothing special at all expected better

Skip the nachos

By Mark Attisha |

When you stay at the Wynn, you expect everything to be the best of the best of Vegas. So when you go to their sports bar, the table stakes are pretty well understood and there are certain areas where a place can go above and beyond the crowd. Beer? You've got to have a good selection of beer. Charle's Bar has this nailed. Their "coin toss" was a pretty good bet for us. They had a seasonal Sam Adams on tap, and it was perfect for watching the NHL Western Semifinals (Vegas Knights won, of course!). Burgers? If you can't do a killer burger, close your doors. The Charlie's burger is great:lots of fixings and a good sized patty. Nachos! Whether you are watching hockey, football or baseball, a good plate of nachos is par for the course. You expect lots of tortilla chips, smothered with shredded and melted cheddar cheese, fresh salsa, guacamole, jalapeños, sour cream and other surprises. Charlies' nachos were very disappointing. Sub par. The guacamole looked like it came from a 7-11, the cheese was drizzled from a Cheez Wiz jar and no sour cream. Our least favorite part of the meal.

Convenient and Timely

By Lynda13 |

This is a nice little cafe in the casino. If you want to spend time doing other things beside dining, Charlie's service is fast and efficient. A great place for a quick sandwich or salad and a glass of wine. Pleasant staff and a great place to observe the activity in the casino and sports betting area. Try the grilled chicken sandwich and a Caesar salad.

I liked it

By Tinuks |

Great views of the casino floor and loads of TV screens for the sports lovers. The portion sizes are a bit much for me but the food is really well cooked and service was great. The brownie was excellent.

Vegan's I always return for the Wynn combo

By Marjorie H |

Great place to grab a bite. I'm not Vegan, but I love the Vegan combo here. Fries and Vegan chocolate shake included.

Great Name for a Restaurant

By Phil Hertel |

My eldest daughter is called Charlie, and of course I love her lots. I quite liked Charlie's Bar & Grill too. The plan was to watch a World Cup game while we ate breakfast, but discovered that the place didn't open till 11.30am, and then we discovered the reason why... It's not a breakfast place. Oh well, we were restaurant committed (poker joke). We chose our own table, which didn't seem to go down well with the seating agent, but hey, the customers are meant to be always right. Right? Joking aside, we found that the service was reasonably efficient once we got ahold of the waiter responsible for our table. Strangely, even though it was still the morning, he wished us good evening both at the beginning and end of our culinary experience. I had a Caesar Salad with chicken breast, my friend had a chicken wrap, and we shared some very very nice waffle fries. That was not a typo; they were excellent, a term I don't use lightly. My pal's wrap was very nice, he tells me, whilst my salad was just okay - the chicken breast perhaps a little too dry. But I was hungry enough to eat pretty much everything in my bowl. And being the Wynn, it was pretty expensive: a coffee for me and a milkshake for him and we were hit for $80 including tip. I'd be happy to return, as it's a great vantage point from which to watch the main sports event on the big screens in the SportsBook, but I'd be aware from the other reviews that the place can be a little "hit or miss".

Average sports bar...no complaints

By Michelle_Haley |

What you would expect...booze and big screens. You can get this back home so if youre looking for more Vegas style entertainment and surroundings, you may look a little further

Loved It!

By Robert C B |

Sunday football with the sports book off to the side and all the tv’s inside Charlie’s. Had drinks and two different appetizers that were great!

Ok place

By Roynyc1 |

Very american which i like great service! but food is ok, nothing special to write home about, my friend had the burger and i had the chicken sandwich we both found it kind of dry no special seasoning or sauce, to be completely honest McDonald would have tasted better. A/C was blasting kind of strong, strong the casino area that for sure, but again service was really good, staff was nice so maybe its good for comfort food after being super drunk but i personally won't get to eat there again

Nice Place

By tanalg |

Great area just off the casino floor, easy to find. Staff excellent so is the food. Good variety. The TVs and all they were programmed for was pretty cool. Would return. Pricey but worth it.

nice location and decor and service

By tibber55 |

we were hungry as we had walked from the Cowboy Xmas at the Convention Center and were pretty tired. We split nachos and bbq chicken salad. The nachos came with jalapenos which was not mentioned on the menu. I didn't like the cheese sauce at all. The bbq chicken salad was okay but nothing special. They have a nice list of beer and I like that they described its level of hoppiness. I certainly would not order either item again altho the salad wasn't bad.

Cold nasty food

By d_mengella |

1 cold chicken wrap was just ok. 1 well done burger was so overcooked it was crunchy and blackened. 2 philly cheese steak sandwiches were cold with very little beef. Would not return

Delicious snacks

By Mary L |

We stopped here before a show for a snack. The Hot pretzel and dip is delicious and huge. The wait staff are attentive and polite.

Nice food in a casino

By Giacomo C |

I stopped in this bar right after a show at the Wynn. Prices in the menu were acceptable and I decided to have a healthy quinoa salad, which made me happy. I was then attracted by the Cheese Cake in a Jar...and it was delicious, although pretty heavy. A good choice if you are in this area.

All American bar & grill

By Danielle C |

During my stay at Encore, my husband & I visited Charlie’s twice. The atmosphere is so cool with tv’s all over, a bar & great service. We at the burger & fries & tried the turkey sandwiches. It’s a great place if you want to stay casual for a quick bite with friends or family.

New "Sports" Bar and Grill at Wynn Hotel

By Frank B |

Charlie's Bar and Grill replaced "Zu-Zu Crackers" at the Wynn. They tore out the back wall, expanded the number of tables and added dozens of television screens. The menu has changed and there is now table service whereas before you stood in line to order. Hours have also expanded with the grill opened til 0100 on the weekends. I am not a sports enthusiast and I enjoyed the diversity of Zu-Zu's and although Wynn still has restaurants that fill that gap they are a LONG way from the Encore side of the property. Also, the prices were high, even for the Wynn.

Charlie's bar and grill

By Oskajl |

Tried this out on the Saturday afternoon, waited 10 min for a table but well worth it Relaxed atmosphere and ideal to take kids if you have any We tried the posh hot dog, superb

High Price, Average Food

By chanyu1 |

This restaurant is right next to the sports book inside Wynn's so it's a convenient place to grab a bite is you're playing the sports book. The place is airy and the wait could be long during meal hours. The food menu is average American and the prices are on the high end. We ordered a burger and the Wynn's veggie burger which included a vegan shake (a chocolate almond milk shake). It was surprisingly OK tasting. However, the burger and other dishes we ordered were only average. If you're hungry betting at the sports book, grab a bite here. If you have time to look elsewhere, go elsewhere...

Average food at an inflated price

By doclexus |

Good place for a quick bite, but like all in-house eateries at luxury hotels, you will pay the price

Lovely food value for money

By Kittycat |

Great menu lots of choice of sandwiches fries burgers etc. Very good service. Definately worth a visit.

Never coming back

By lizajansen96 |

The nachos were disgusting for 20$ nachos I expect real cheese and not some fake liquid orange gel. Chicken wrap was okay but not worth the money.

NOT WORTH THE SPACE

By Orry L |

Went for light lunch with family but left after starter. I have been here before and can't understand how a Wynn restaurant can get things consistently wrong. Last time I had a terrible meal here I thought it was because the place was new and had to settle in but not the case. It is just poor. Staff difficult and going through the motions. Food slow to appear and pretty mediocre. I know this is really a place to come for light food I we did not expect great things but how bad can you get. Have tried it twice this is enough. They have to go back to the drawing board.

Christmas 2017

By MisterR1985 |

Had a late night bite at Charlie's. Part of the renovated Sports Bar area. Food was ok and service average. Not a destination spot but served the last night smack needs.

Our Food was Outstanding--Huge Portions--Pricey

By Patricia B |

One of the best philly cheese steaks I have ever consumed. Tender beef, no fat or gristle. So flavorful. My husband and I split the sandwich--no way either of us could have finished one on our own. Fries were extra $$$ but plentiful and very good. Our server Chris was excellent. Our friends had one of the "milkshake" desserts that caused turned heads throughout the restaurant. It was a work of art. An expensive work of art. :-) Great place for lunch.

Average bar food.

By fvb1964 |

The wait staff was friendly and we were seated quickly. The food on the other had was average and way over priced. The burgers were under cooked and really did not have that good of flavor. This is a one and done restaurant for me.

Great food!

By morrowmj |

We ate twice in Charlie's Bar on our recent visit to Vegas. The food is fantastic but please bear in mind that the portions are MASSIVE!

Delicious!

By Bea |

We stayed at Wynns and just wanted to eat within the hotel. As I’m on a Keto diet I had the Charlie’s burger but bunless and a vanilla thick shake. Sooo yummy. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, great spot as it’s just next to the sports section of the casino with multiple tv’s, betting tables and a bar. Great vibe especially when the NFL was on

Great casual meal with friends

By Voula K |

Great warm and friendly and reasonably fast service... burgers were great with buffalo wings and fries! Generous servings too!

Good food!

By Nicole O |

Philly steak on an onion roll. Comes with provolone and liquid cheddar. Got the cheddar on the side. Glad I did as I did not like. Got a small side of fries which isn't a menu option. Sandwich was very good.

Great food & attention to detail

By obdocSanJose |

Food is fantastic, multiple screens to view games but expect to pay sky high prices to eat here. My daughter had a burger. My husband & I shared an order of nachos

Great place to watch sport & eat

By ChairmanJon |

We ate hear twice on our trip mainly for the convenience. The food was great but a tad expensive (but we were in the Wynn) the $16 milkshake made my eyes water.

Sports and nice place

By Ricbran |

Do you enjoy watching sports? And having lunch together? Song to Charlie's when in Vegas. It's inside Wynn hotel. Giant screens with many different sports at the same time. Staff is gentle and sympathetic and the menu goes from nachos to salads and burgers. Nice place nice food nice screens.

Inconsistent

By CherF |

We ate here twice during our recent stay at the Wynn. The first night we ate here was fantastic. The Golden Knights were playing in the championship game. It was very busy and food and service were fantastic. We wanted to watch part of NBA championship game here the next night so we came back. I could hardly believe it was the same place! Service was nonexistent. We had to ask a gentleman in a suit, whom we assumed was the manager, for drinks and water. Our waiter was nowhere to be found. We figured the guy in the suit would be back to check on us, but he was always busy standing around with the wait staff. Nobody seemed to notice or care that we had such poor service. Our waiter was very quick to pick up payment, though. Charlies gets 3 stars because of our experience on the first night.

A good place to eat and watch in the heart if the Wynn.

By Yahdahdee |

Okay, so it is not the cheapest place to eat a burger and fries but nonetheless it was top quality food. Very helpful and friendly staff who made sure I was able to sit at a bar watching giant screen sport and enjoying a drink whilst the table became vacant. Within five minutes or so I text popped up on my phone decided my table was ready and we went off to eat. A good variety of menu options and a real bars in the atmosphere, I thought it was great
