I went here a few days ago while on business in Miami. It was a Wednesday and not very crowded. I don’t count this as the healthiest of Vegan food but it definitely was some of the most flavorful vegan food I have had and I will go again on my next trip to Miami. I had the first set of Tacos listed on the menu as well as the Nachos—both were excellent. Also had the Creme Brûlée which was pretty good. The menu has plenty of choices.

Nestled in the heart of Wynwood is this little gem. If you blink, you'll miss it. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed and the food is feesh and authentic. Stop in whether you're vegan or not. You wont be disappointed.

Charley's Vegan Tacos is a chain based out of Tulum Mexico. They got their start as a food truck and my experience has been that food truck's make the best restaurants. Opened in 2018 the Wynwood location is their first in the U.S. I was bar hopping in Wynwood with some friends who don't eat meat and I remembered seeing Charley's so off we went. My friends are pescatarian and would have been happy with a fish or shrimp taco but all of the other places were very crowded with long lines. Charley's had a clean open interior with Mexican decor which was a nice respite from the heat and loud party outside it's the doors. I really wanted one of their colorful napkins that are like mini soft woven Mexican blankets. I wasn't sure what to order since I don't like beans, mushrooms, guacamole or fake soy cheese but I had just had a few drinks from a bar crawl so I was at my most amenable to trying something new. I finally settled on the Macho Nachos because everyone loves nachos. My friends each got a burrito and we added on the elote too. Any second guessing we were having about eating here was erased as soon as the nachos were delivered. Corn chips are topped with spicy chipotle leek cheese, homemade pickled jalapeños, salsa adobada, mashed organic beans, Charlys signature cream, guacamole and grilled mushrooms. We dug in to the mound and they were delicious. The three of us couldn't even finish it. The funny thing is the nachos had at least three things I don't like and I didn't even care because they were that good! The elote is grilled corn on the cob and comes covered in tofu and garlic aioli, toasted peanut soil, chili powder, coriander. I didn't think think I liked tofu either but again it was delicious. I am not sure which burritos were ordered but my friends shared with me and they were amazing. I rolled into Charley's not feeling that great and left restored by their healthy tasty food. Our server was wonderful. I didn't catch her name but I caught her back in one of my pictures. She made sure we had plenty of water which I was in need of and the food was served to us very quickly. The only downside I see to eating here is it is pricey. The nachos were $18, one corn on the cob was $8, and the burritos were $15 each. If the prices don't bother you the food is incredible. I never thought I would enjoy a vegan restaurant and now I am convinced I could be a vegan if I could eat here every day. My friends texted me the next morning that they woke up taking about how good Charley's was. I left Charley's a vegan convert.

Absolutely delicious- got the taco trio (Bang bang shrimp, carne asada, Caribbean) all were delicious!

I am blessed with a job that requires me to travel the country. This affords me the opportunity to seek out and sample some amazing plant based restaurants all over the US. Charly’s Vegan Tacos has a wide variety of delicious options! So far I’ve been there 4-5 times since I’ve been working in Miami and I have yet to finish the nachos!! Time to try again!

I am obsessed with tacos so it's always fun trying out new taco places and "judging" them. Of all the taco shops I've come across, this one is up on my list. They have the most insane street corn ever - to the point where I didn't know a side of corn could be so good. I recommend this place for its creativity, casualness, and convenient location. It's not your low-budget taco truck, but well worth the cost. I would consider it a little more of a high-end restaurant for tacos. We did get Margaritas as well, and they were also very well done. Cheers : )

Fantastic taco flavors and sophisticated recipes abound at this hip Wynwood spot. All foodies should try this inventive menu. The location is also great for spending some fun time before/after eating in the art district. So glad that these guys have brought their vegan magic from Tulum to Miami.

I generally make it a rule not eat Mexican food outside of the southwest and California but we made an exception after a long day of flying and only snacking to try this place out. The food wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t that good. Most of it lacked general seasoning or flavor and the most flavorful thing we had was the spicy margarita. We had various tacos and the fried avocado (which did have an amazing sauce called “jalapeño tartar”). Despite the food being ok, we both got violently ill early the next morning. We hadn’t eaten much on the long day of travel from home to Miami aside from chips, pretzels, energy bars and water on our flights. This makes me certain that we got sick from the food. Just be aware before going there. Eating here almost ruined our vacation.

Cool place and nice atmosphere! They have some beautiful wall art and food is delicious! Love to come here with my friends once in a while!

I was so impressed by my meal at Charly’s! They have a robust menu and everything is vegan so you get so many yummy options to choose from. This is a great spot for vegans and carnivores alike! Food: I ordered elote, three tacos, cerveza (duh), and then they let me try the soursop cheesecake on the house. It was all incredible and you can tell they make everything fresh. I love that you can mix and match your tacos and try a few options. The presentation was also phenomenal! Service: everyone here went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and had everything I needed. I got great recommendations from my waiter and him and the manager both checked in on my to make sure I liked my food. You know you’re at a great restaurant when they are open to hearing your feedback - a lot of other places won’t ask if you’re enjoying your meal if the food isn’t great... not the case at Charly’s! I really enjoyed chatting with the staff, learning a bit about the restaurant’s history, and they even gifted me a slice of soursop cheesecake. I mean I did need to try it to get the whole experience, right? Talk about incredible service!! I will definitely be back when I’m in Miami next. Price: this is pretty affordable for all the food and drinks I got. They offer a happy hour as well so be sure to check it out! Pro tip: if you aren’t into tofu, do not fret - they do a great job with the texture and seasoning so you aren’t eating big cubes of it. I was a little hesitant seeing tofu on the menu but they do a fantastic job utilizing the texture to resembled authentic Mexican dishes. Can’t wait to come back - thank you to everyone at Charly’s for a delicious meal and great experience. So glad I stopped in!

My 100% vegan friend was visiting which prompted trips to try the notable vegan choices in Miami. Had never heard of this place tucked away in Wynwood but it was highly recommended. Does NOT disappoint. My vegan friend was over the moon happy with the choices, tastes, quality and overall experience. Great service attentive knowledgeable caring. Love the Peanut dusted corn on the cob. Beyond amazing.

I was in the Wynwood area from while visiting from out of town and did a search for vegan and found Charly’s. As my daughter and friend were having fun at Rolling Loud, I had some free time and was looking for a quiet place. It seemed like a great option, so I decided to try them out. I was greeted warmly by several members of the staff and felt welcomed. I’m a sucker for stories so when the first part of the menu was the background of how Charly’s was created and what goes into the food and ambiance, I knew things were off to a great start. Vegan food can get a bad rap for taste, but I certainty didn’t find this to be the case. I had the De La Tierra tacos with a glass of wine. The there were 3 different tacos with a variety of mushrooms, garlic, cilantro and several other ingredients. The food was awesome plus I was able to charge my phone at the same time. That’s a win-win for me!

It's difficult to find food that truly pleases the vegan palate but this place has it down. Unique dishes and great service - even if you are not a vegan, you will not be disappointed. Map it on your phone because it is a bit hidden.

The food was different and very good. The atmosphere unpretentious and also very nice. The service was prompt and I recommend giving this place a try
I would eat here everyday if I could.
My daughter and I ate at Charly's recently and loved everything about it. Great service, great atmosphere, and most of all, amazing food. I had a taco plate and my kid had the giant kale salad. We also had the mango guacamole and homemade tortilla chips as an appetizer. Everything was fresh, and full of flavor. We are vegan and live in a very vegan friendly city. We know we are spoiled and often when we travel we know the food won't be as good as home. Not so with Charly's, his food stands up to anywhere we've been and I would eat here everyday if I could. Hoping to get to his Tulum location before too long!
