Incredible dining experience from start to finish....excellent apps ( kim chee calamari & belly + the beast imo was sublime) ...our main dishes were delicious my wife had the Mahi, I had the sea bass with lobster risotto again sublime....our 5th visit to LV...eaten at various restaurants but the Chart House...was one to remember.

One of the few great places downtown

By Crack-O-Noon |

I've visited Vegas three times over the past year, staying downtown. One of my big disappointments has been the food. Obviously, I've chosen poorly. I decided to try Chart House on my last visit, and am so glad I did. I can't remember what I ordered, just that the meal as a whole was good. I know this is a chain, but I'll take a chain any day over an independent place with mediocre food. They have a happy hour every weekday afternoon, and it's a great deal. They have cheap appetizers ($4-10) and discounted drinks. Seating is limited to the bar area, so you need to get there early. I liked it so much that I went a second day, but I had waited too late and had to be turned away because they were full. Chart House is in the Golden Nugget casino and a bit hard to find. The casino is amazingly lively, probably the most lively downtown. I was kind of surprised by this, just because it didn't fit my image of the Golden Nugget. Anyway, have fun!

Unique

By HandsomeHoward |

There’s a lot of places to eat in Vegas, heck, there’s a lot in any hotel, including this one, the Golden Nugget. From the hostess to the busser, we enjoyed the great service, good tableware, reasonable prices and delicious food. The fish tank (including scuba divers) is a bonus.

Amazing aquarium, good food

By kzakowski |

We asked for a table by the aquarium in our reservation, and they sat us right next to it. I could have stayed all day watching the fish! They even have enrichment for the fish, and you can find a list of the fish on their website. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Drinks were great, food was good. You must get the lava cake!

Best Restaurant of All on This Trip

By MLMRocksTravel |

We decided to spead a couple of nights at the Golden Nugget. Since we normally stay on the strip, we did not have any idea of where to eat. Chart House was in our hotel and had good reviews, and we love good seafood so we decided to try it. What a great decision. We had a wonderful seat by the tank, and we were able to watch the presentation of other meals. The hostess's were delightful, and our waiter, Bobby, was the best in Vegas. He recommened we try the shrimp cocktail, as they are flown in daily. OMG>>>>we have never had a better shrimp cocktail. 5 shrimp that were almost the size of a dollar bill, perfectly cooked, with a spicy cocktail sauce in a dish smoking with dry ice. A+ on taste and presentation. We saw the size of the Sampler Platter, and decided to split it. Great idea as we had cod, coconut shrimp, calamari, fries (best ever) and a lobster tail. Delicious and very well prepared. Bobby even brought us out separate sauces since we were sharing. A fabulous meal for $80.

Bar energy!!!

By Shawn N |

Sat at the bar and dined with Tiffany, she was an excellent bartender. Ordered the stone crab which was amazing. Along with their Hamachi Crudo both were a light start before I did the Chart Your Course. Caesar salad was great had the prime rib with mushrooms and finished off with Lava Cake! Sat and watched the fish swim around and had an espresso martini!

Everything from the service, ambience, and food was amazing!

By Rob |

This restaurant is a hidden gem in downtown Las Vegas! Our first time coming here, and definitely not our last! The staff is attentive, polite, and on it from your first step into the restaurant. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and never missed a beat. The food was amazing! Don’t ever come here without ordering the crabcake! The crabcake is absolutely one of a kind and is outstanding! My husband and I both had different shrimp dinners and they were both excellent! Even though we were full, we had the lava cake for dessert, which was well worth it! Thank you for a great dinner!

Outstanding personnel service

By Mikeshy |

While staying at the Golden Nugget, we had dinner at the Chart House Restaurant. We had a delightful experience. Carissa was our server and she was excellent. She helped make some excellent recommendations and was attentive and very friendly. My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass feature. I had the Macadamia crusted Mahi Mahi. I chose to substitute a baked potato for the sticky rice. Our food was excellent and the service was even better. Carissa made our evening special.

Dinner with my wife

We dine here every trip to Vegas. The food is always good and fresh. They have an excellent bar and the menu has something for everyone. Don't miss it, you'll be glad you came.

Birthday Dinner

My husband & son took me to the Chart House for my birthday. Had a great time, the lobster tail was delicious. The restaurant even surprise me with a mud pie. Yummy

Shot Show Dinner

Great food and excellent service! Chilean Seabass was outstanding as well as the steaks. Deserts were awesome too! Key Lime Pie and Chocolate Lava cake didn’t disappoint either.

Wonderful food & service, forgot where we were

By Kim_F_CA |

Loved our meal here. You cannot get better seafood than at Chart House. The food is innovative and fresh. We shared a number of plates and it was all amazing. For $100 two of us felt like queens for a while, forgetting the seedy Fremont street area outside of the casino. You must try the lava cake. It was enough for two of us and the best I’ve every had. Same with the coconut shrimp. Large and delicious with. an amazing sauce. The shimp prawns in general were very large in all dishes. Oysters, blue point, arrived that morning. Seared ahi was fantastic. Great service. It reminded me why I love the Chart House. Will be back at other locations!

Excellent food and service

By tmoore48 |

This is an upscale restaurant with upscale prices, but the food was absolutely delicious and the service impeccable. Although, I did have difficulty looking away from the huge tank of fish in the center of the restaurant! I had the sea bass with lobster risotto, which was excellent. They also have a prix fixe menu, although if you don't have a refrigerator it's almost definitely too much food.

Abosolutely Awesome Aquarium greets you at the entrance

By wegolfwegamble |

While staying at the Golden Nugget we were looking for a good happy hour with beer and appies. The chart house was by far the best that we found in the old town. An aquarium that is floor to ceiling (15-20 feet tall) and probably 40 feet long is absolutely amazing. You get to view the fish and have wonderful appies and beer and wine all in the 4 to 6 dollar range. We came from golfing and this was the perfect fit for tired bodies after a day in the hot sun. Service was prompt and staff very friendly. Would reccomend the Chart House for dinner and appies to even the most discerning diner.

Great Food & Atmosphere, not so good service

By Dan R |

The food was great and the view of the fish tank was fabulous. The Prix Fixe menu is a value with excellent food. The waiter however was a little too full of himself and condescending. A very nice dinner could have been great with a better server.

Awesome! Adding A new one to the repeat list for these Vegas veterans!

By obright1 |

Wow! So worth it! Have the calamari, the sauce was divine. Flur de lis drink was great. Dinner was amazing (shrimp trio). Everything they brought to the table (even the rolls) were wonderful. Donny took great care of us and service was impeccable! Best seafood we’ve ever had in Vegas. I would travel the strip to have dinner here!

Very satisfied with the whole experience

By barbsie2023 |

Located in the Golden Nugget hotel. This is in the Fremont Street area so off the strip. Walking or driving to the strip was not convenient so we decided to dine close for our overnight stay. The floor to ceiling 75000 gallon fish tank was so fun to watch during our meal. They have a booklet providing all the fish names, etc. Ask for it. Food was delicious. We had the lobster bisque, chopped salad, coconut shrimp (coconut cream dipping sauce!) and prime rib. All was very very good. Friendly quick service.

21 birthday celebration

By James M |

My son chose the chart house to celebrate his 21st birthday dinner. Had a lovely booth, for 3 of us. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Appetizers of crab cake, calimari( excellent), a fig salad, and clam chowder all good. Entrees of seared tuna( very good), mahi-mahi (good), and crab legs($95 for two medium sized legs). Then desert— my birthday son wanted the lava mud cake- 30 minute wait- but said it was delicious. Bill for three-$459 including a 20 percent tip. No complimentary cake or anything— disappointing— even though I made reservations telling the restaurant it was my sons 21st birthday.

Great Night

By drFeelgood_8 |

Party of 4 - Awesome night, we went on a Sunday night around 6 pm, didn't need reso's, but it was filling up when we left. Cool décor, giant fish tank in the middle of the restaurant. The service was amazing, you felt like you were a valued customer, not only by the server, but by the manager, and the other servers, they were so fun. Service was fast, the food was very good, steak, chicken and two seafood dishes. All the options were tasty, would defiantly recommend if you are around Freemont. Price point is a little less than some of the steak houses down there, so that is great.

Birthday Dinner

By TheWildestHeart |

We had 9 people for my birthday and two amazing servers. It was so fun and lasted almost 3 hours starting with a seafood tower and ending with yummy desserts. I’d say splurge for that seafood tower! Why not it’s Vegas baby! Wonderful experience.

Fine dining at its finest!

By mlamb0801 |

Food and service were very good. While it was pricy, compared to other similar restaurants, I didn’t find the prices exorbitant. We enjoyed an appetizer - kimchi calamari - and a salad - grilled watermelon and feta. The calamari exceeded expectations while the salad wasn’t something we would order again. I had a spiced ahi which was delicious and my husband tried the prime rib which was excellent. We had two cocktails, as well. After tip we were right at $150, which again, isn’t cheap, but for the atmosphere, location and quality is reasonable for the area.

CHART HOUSE tops the charts!

By GarynAmy |

We traveled to Las Vegas and stayed again at a favorite location, the Golden Nugget. We choose CHART HOUSE for a reunion of 10 cousins, many who had not been together since 1965! My wife and I had previously had memorable experiences at Chart House! Chart House not only "hosted" well, but they topped the charts in terms of all the food we experienced in Las Vegas. I had the prime rib which was once again in the top 5 such plates I'd ever enjoyed in a lifetime, and my wife had the wok fried whole fish...a first for her but it won't be her last! Our cousins all enjoyed themselves immensely. The decor, the service, the food, the cocktails.... all deserving of 4 to 5 stars in our book! Please give it a try. We wager you'll return - often!

A real surprise - a hidden gem

By Darrin D |

We went to Fremont St and didnt know anything about restaurants and where we should go - we needed the bathrioom and found ourselves at gthe Golden Nugget - while I was waiting I walked out the back and saw the Chart House, tucked away at the rear of the casino. The massive fish tank had me hooked before we even ordered. We sat at the bar and ordered from the bar menu and we were very impressed. We ordered the shrimp, the calamari and the fish tacos - every one was a winner. It was happy hour as well (how lucky are we) so we enjoyed very reasonably priced drinks. The woman serving us was lovely and really looked after us. Someone had ordered a drink and there as a misunderstanding - so I ended up with a free drink as well!! treat people well (as we always do) and you will be treated well in return. Keep up the great work team - we will be back.

Go to Joe’s for Your Stone Crabs

By HawaiiKaiGail |

We’re LV locals. Today, we went downtown to gamble a bit, have a few nibbles and a couple drinks. Have been to this Chart House many times in the past. We had 2 drinks and an order of their Stone Crabs...only medium were available. $60.00 for 6. Service was NOT spot on. Big on presentation of the stone crabs...with smoking dry ice. The crab itself was Not cracked enough to make it easy to get out of the shell. Nor, was it ice cold. It was ON ice...but not that cold. And, they need to be in our opinion. Minimum lemon provided. The mayonnaise - mustard sauce sauce was good. Hot towels provided after. Hubby had to take the check to the bar for checkout. All in all, we most likely will not be back. So many better choices out in our wonderful city that we call HOME. Please give me a Heads Up vote if my review has been helpful to you. Proud to call Las Vegas HOME 🎰

A new favorite!

By slhFortSmith_AR |

We had a great experience at the Chart House in every way. First, we were seated with a fabulous view of the huge aquarium, which is a treat. This was a pre-show dinner so we didn't have tons of time, but our server was incredibly efficient without making us feel at all rushed. We started with the cracked crab claw appetizer and they were served pre-cracked (hooray!) and deliciously sweet and tender. My husband and I both opted for sea bass - he had his prepared in an Asian manner and mine was simply grilled. Both were wonderful, but I liked mine the best. The fish was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. It was served on fried rice (delicious) with the most delicious green beans I've ever had. I honestly wasn't expecting much since this is a chain restaurant, but it was a truly great experience and we will be back the next time we're in Vegas!

Great dining experience

By Brian M |

We were on a tour of Old Town as Vegas and were looking for a place to eat and the Chart House looked interesting. It was an excellent choice. I had Gazpacho and the Shrimp & Scallop Patagonia. The service was excellent. We were seated next to the aquarium, which provided entertainment as we ate. With tip, we spent $115. Would go back again.

Fine dining on Fremont Street

By JSCHMEEG |

We have visited the Chart House in Honolulu several times which has good food with more of a casual atmosphere. We found the Chart House in the Golden Nugget quite by accident. We were pleasantly surprised by the upscale bar, dining and atmosphere with fine service. Our server Kiara was cordial and friendly providing for a very enjoyable evening. My wife, not quite so hungry that night opted for the Coconut Crunch Shrimp app served on a bed of crunchy noodles which satisfied her. I decided on the dinner special. For $61, you get a soup or salad, entree and dessert. I chose the Lobster Bisque which was about the best that I ever had, My Prime Rib main course was served medium rare as requested. It had a nice taste and came with a mashed potato and fresh green beans. For dessert, I ordered the Chocolate Lava cake which was big enough to share. This was a very nice choice that we quite stumbled on by accident. On a relatively slow Saturday (due to the rainy weather), we were able to walk in and be seated without a reservation. That was very much appreciated. We will definitely return on our next visit to the area!

Great restaurant with really good food and drinks

We enjoyed our lunch. They had a great selection of food and drinks and the taste did not disappoint. Great service and great food

ORDER THE SPECIAL PLATTER

By Larry B |

We frankly chose the Chart House because the other steakhouse nearby had a long wait. I suspect this is partially because the Chart House is a bit pricey in comparison to its competitor around the corner in the Golden Nugget. But we were rewarded with an excellent meal and professional service. I ordered what I recall was called the "Special Platter," or something like that. It is what most restaurants call a "Fisherman's Platter." It contained a large quantity and variety of battered seafood and three different sauces for dipping. I'm not sure what all the items were, but they included calamari, butterflied shrimp, prawns, some type of battered fish filet and what appeared to be a small lobster (it had a lobster-like tail). All were perfectly cooked. We shared a Caesar Salad, which was also well prepared, missing only anchovies. In all, we were glad we opted for this place, though our dinners with one beer and one glass of wine hit about the $120 mark.

Another Great Meal

By allenw78 |

Have not been back for a year so it was time to visit again. Once again they performed with good food and good service. The steaks are good and the fish even better. I had the whole fish, red snapper, that was wok fried and really good. A 1 1/2 pound fish prepared perfectly. Spouse had the fish and shrimp special and was a winner. Tied to a nice salad and I call it a VERY good meal. Reservation was honored and parking validated. Try the Golden Nugget and you will enjoy.

Great food and a 75,000 gal. aquarium.

By Casey1919 |

This restaurant is located inside of the Golden Nugget Casino. Great atmosphere with a central aquarium. ( I watched divers clean the the aquarium while I ate. ) The food was superb. I had the house cut prime rib and it may be the best that I ever have eaten. The best dish was my wife's coconut shrimp. The presentation was so beautiful that we took pictures and sent them to all of our friends. The shrimp were excellently prepared also. This is a great place for a romantic dinner or dinner with friends. Also, the casino is just a short walk from dinner. A great evening.

Unique Experience

By Suzy C |

Amazing night celebrating with Family and Friends at the Chart House - a very unique experience. Food is amazing - had the Mahi with Baha shrimp and dessert was Hot Chocolate Lava Cake! Restaurant Staff were very professional, welcoming and knowledgeable - offering assistance in our selections to make sure all would be perfect. Will definetly recommend to friends and family!

Great seafood restaurant

By Mike H |

I stay at the Golden Nugget a few times each year and always eat here. They have a great happy hour if you want to try to eat early and the dinner menu is fantastic. Great service, good wine list. If you want to try to step it up a notch get the seafood tower to share. You will not be disappointed

Another Great Visit

By 466Steve |

The ChartHouse is a must when visiting downtown Las Vegas. AJ, Maggie, Tiffany, April and Jackie are the best. The seafood is fresh and expertly prepared. The new pork belly and octopus is tender and well seasoned. The watermelon salad is perfectly seasoned and fresh. It’s a must when visiting the Golden Nugget.

Great Happy Hour choice

By SalfromIL |

We stopped by for Happy Hour on a Thursday at 4PM. The small bar was empty. We grabbed a couple seats and ordered drinks. The menu was interesting. My husband saw Tanqueray listed for $7 during HH, so he asked if he could have it on the rocks. No problem but a $.50 up charge for a heavier pour. $7.50 for a Tanqueray martini, a no brainer. After a bit, we ordered the ahi tuna nachos and the tempura calamari and veggies. Both were excellent and beautifully presented. The ahi came with two sauces, a wasabi cream and a kimchi cream. The calamari also came with the kimchi cream. It's worth noting that the bar area filled up quickly so go early. But we highly recommend stopping in for Happy Hour.

Amazing surf and turf

By Mountain Hikers |

This was a 5 star visit from start to finish. The staff here gets customer service. We had the NY strip with lobster tail and it was amazing! Robert was our server and was phenomenal!

Best meal in Vegas

By ACanadia |

The hotel is old school Vegas but the Chart House is worth a visit. We started in the bar with Maggie who was friendly and helpful then moved to the restaurant with Harris. He was so professional and efficient. We had calamari which was a huge portion then split a Cesar salad and the sea bass. Everything was excellent and I highly recommend this place.

Repeat pleasant dining experiences

By socaltripper |

If you're staying at or near the Golden Nugget on Fremont Street the Chart House is an excellent dining option to consider. My wife and I have dined here twice and we were very pleased with our meals and the service provided. For our meals we had either prime rib or fish which were cooked and seasoned well. The side dishes and desert were equally tasty. Or waitress and her support team were friendly, helpful and efficient. If you make a reservation for a special occasion, request a table adjacent to the massive salt water aquarium for a touch of ambiance.

First stop after checking into The Golden Nugget

By ratrod |

First stop after checking in at Golden Nugget. Had to cancel our original reservation because of a delay in our flight. They were still able to seat us at the bar, which was fine. We enjoyed cocktails, prime rib and a Waygu beef burger. All was good as usual, but missed out on all their wonderful Happy Hour appetizers.always a must stop when being in Vegas. bartenders very friendly. Very enjoyable evening

Good service

By Nicholas K |

We had travelled long distance from Europe and had our first meal here. Service was friendly and helpful , portions were large and tasty.

High Pressure sales tactics after the meal

By Friendlytravel2015 |

My 2-star rating is only because of the high-pressure sales tactics after the meal. The meal was good, and the service was what I would come to expect. The issue was at the end of the meal. The high-pressure sales tactics the server and manager pushed just to get you to buy their meal card. It just didn't stop. The server wouldn't take no for an answer and then the manager had to talk. I wouldn't have been surprised if they would have tried to sell us a time share after done with this chap. I came there for a meal and that's it. If we say no, drop it. We would NEVER recommend the Chart House to any of our friends.

You Can't Beat The Happy Hour Menu

By J M |

Great service, good food and mouth watering cocktails make the Chart House the place to be at 4PM every day. The Happy Hour menu fits the bill for those on the way to the tables or slots to test their luck. At the bar you will be a winner every time.

Was okay didn’t find it amazing

By Bea |

We saw great ratings on TripAdvisor but I found the food to be expensive and mediocre. I had the lobster bisque and crab cakes as two entrees and shared the chocolate lava cake with my friends. The lava cake is very heavy and even for 4 of us we couldn’t finish it. My friend had the prawns 3 ways, macadamia crusted fillets. The servings are very generous but I didn’t find the food to be that great. Service was great and attentive

Dated Decor, Skip the Appetizers

By moviegal226 |

I dined at Chart House for the first time last week and while I didn't love my experience, I will probably return. Located in the Golden Nugget downtown, Chart House is easily identifiable by their showpiece: a giant saltwater fish tank! The restaurant surrounds the tank so you can watch the fish swim around while you dine. It's really cool. The rest of the restaurant is not. The atmosphere feels extremely dated, in a "contemporary" style that feels like it came out of a mid-1990s time capsule. The decor needs an update badly and, considering how pricey the food is here, I would expect the dining room to be a bit more upscale. Our waiter was a little uptight, especially when we didn't order bottled water or alcohol. He got a bit more casual when we ordered several of his recommendations from the menu. We were served a pitiful bread basket with just three small selections. The bread was warm, but had either been held too long in a warming tray or had straight up been microwaved. The bread was TOUGH and had that wrinkly exterior texture that bread gets when it's not fresh. Epic fail on the bread basket. I had the crab cake appetizer and my husband had the ahi tuna. Neither of us liked our appetizers that much. There was nothing "wrong" with them, it's just that neither knocked our socks off. In fact, we both agreed we would not order either of these dishes again. The crab cake was astoundingly mediocre for a seafood restaurant, and the soft shell crab was deep fried with too much breading. It tasted both fishy and like old oil, and that was quite unappealing. For dinner, he got the prime rib with a side of mushrooms, while I opted for fresh grilled halibut with a side of Asian spiced green beans. Both of our entrees were excellent. The beef was perfectly cooked and tender, and he couldn't stop raving about the mushrooms. I had requested my halibut be cooked more on the medium-well side, and the chef did a fantastic job. The doneness was exactly how I like it. I was surprised to see a very large portion of seasoned rice with my fish, and it was so tasty! The green beans were good too. We had so many leftovers because we knew we wanted to save room for dessert! We chose the ice cream flight to share. The flavors of the day were fresh strawberry (sooooo good), chocolate s'mores (equally delicious), and fresh watermelon (this would've been great as a sorbet, but creamy watermelon was just...gross). The ice cream is all made in-house and the flavors change frequently. Get this if you love cold, sweet treats. Speaking of leftovers, I was surprised when we were given styrofoam containers to box up our own food. Usually at a nicer restaurant, you get sturdy plastic containers that are microwaveable or at least the waiter will take your plate back and box it up for you. I found this strange and kinda awkward, especially as the styrofoam boxes were very flimsy and a bother to handle. The service was good, but one thing really irritated me: the bussers who would literally stand around watching us eat. The second (and I mean the very SECOND we were done, or it looked like we were done), one of the ladies would run over and snatch the plate right off the table. This made me feel stressed and rushed, and one time she tried to grab my plate before I was even finished. It's worth mentioning that the restaurant was a ghost town when we were there, like maybe two other tables the entire time. Not sure if it's always this slow, but it was a little weird. If you are a Landry's Rewards member, make sure to put in your number. You can rack up major points here because the prices are quite high. We dropped a couple hundred dollars here, and it would be easy to spend much more if you ordered cocktails or wine. The cocktail menu was very appealing, by the way. Chart House would get a 3 star rating if not for the main course and ice cream, so now I know to skip the appetizers and go straight for the big plates (and dessert).

Great service and Awesome food!

By Food cop |

We picked this place by chance. We wanted to experience the Fremont Street site with the intent to have a great dinner. What perfect choice. Ask for a table next to the aquarium, you won't regret it. Harris, our waiter, was also the perfect compliment to dinner. Try the whole fish tempura style. It was enough food for a large man. Our total bill with 4 cocktails $137.00

You just can’t go wrong here

By palomah1 |

Their Happy hour in my opinion is the best in Las Vegas, if you are not there early you will wait for a table for sure, it is very popular with Hotel Guests, and for good reason, the food offers are very reasonably priced and all are very good. Service is alway fast and with a smile to go with it. Drinks are about half price and ample servings in each. Only problem is you will eat enough Dinner will have to wait a while longer. Compared to the Chart House in Scottsdale, Az, well, there is no comparison. The Scottsdale operation has some of the worst Service and Mgt in Landry’s Chain of Restaurant's There are no disappointments in their Las Vegas operation.

below expectation...

By Sophie L |

Too expensive for the quality of the menu... it has to be said that we're French, so we're very demanding when it comes to food. Cocktails were served AFTER dinner had started (this is simply unacceptable). The chicken was extremely dry and would have benefited from a sauce. The salad was of below average quality. The cheesecake was good (at least one positive!). The waiters were too pushy (they tried to take your plate away when you hadn't even finished it... it has to be said that it was a challenge to "chew" the dry chicken). Booking the table (12 people) was a nightmare... we had to sign 2 contracts! Even in a top gourmet restaurant in France, you're not asked to do that. Come down to earth guys!

Order the margarita

By Natasha M |

The tempura lobster and clam chowder were delicious, but the blood orange margarita was to die for. If I could hold more alcohol I would have ordered a few refills! Very limited seating near aquarium. Get there early and make a reservation!

Late Lunch Was Amazing

By LadyDiButterfli |

We were here in the middle of the day so it wasn't crowded and we had the place to ourselves. The floor to ceiling fish tank is beautiful, we had excellent service and the food was delicious!

Top notch sea food

By Trialdog |

Good atmosphere. Professional service. We got fish and steaks. They were good quality, but a little bit pricey.

Over Salted Steaks, Slow Service, Poor Service

By boca m |

This was a steak night out for three friends. While steaks were served hot, fresh, the mashed potato sides on the plates were cold, room temp, glassy n waxy in appearance, looking like it had been "piped" onto the plate in advance. I asked for mine to be replaced; it took FOREVER to get the attention of a waiter to make this request; THEN it took forever for a replacement to be represented! VERY SLOW and POOR wait/kitchen service. This waiter NEVER replace my fried's who asked the same. The Key Lime Pies at desert were the best I've ever had; better than in FL where I live. Wait service was marginally attentive to the client's needs vs the restaurant's "flamboyant" waiter presentation. Perhaps waiters were covering too many tables spread all about vs in the same zone. Wait service was slow and poor. My F.Mignon, and others at the table, were over salted!!!!! They were just on the cusp of edible without turning them back; poor kitchen work.

Happy Hour

By SalfromIL |

We came by for Happy Hour. Word to the wise: Get there when it opens. The bar filled up quickly. They offer $7 Tito’s and Tanqueray and for an extra buck, turn them into martinis. $8 Tanqueray martinis are hard to find in Vegas. We had a variety of snacks including lettuce wraps, nachos, sliders and calamari. All were delicious. If I had to choose one, I would choose the calamari though. The bartender was great and the huge aquarium above the bar was a big plus.

Lovely Seafood and Service

By PDXFolks |

This is another instance where I can't believe I've never reviewed this establishment, as I'm guessing we've dined there 40 or more times! We've been staying in the Golden Nugget Rush Tower since it opened 15 years ago and it's located in the lobby, behind what used to be the exclusive Rush check in desk. It's been years since we've seen this desk or the VIP room open, so it would be a great idea if they used the blank space to expand the bar, since it's a super popular dining spot! Shout out to AJ, Maggie and Jackie - hands down Vegas' Best Bartenders! And all behind a bar with no room for a Bar Back, the teeniest dishwasher and pouring drinks for the entire restaurant's guests while at the same time, providing full Happy Hour/Dinner service! And you'll never hear a complaint. Most people will mention the HUGE fish aquarium which is pretty cool and it's the first thing you see. I've seen it so many times, I barely notice it anymore. ;-) We've also eaten in the dining room and the servers are very efficient! The food is quite good and in the average Las Vegas finer dining price point. The spiced Ahi is to die for, I'd highly recommend the Wagyu burger and there's a broad choice of fresh seafood, offered with various choices of preparation. Also, the Happy Hour menu is great! The wine list is good and craft cocktails are abound. My reason for 4 stars, rather than 5 is the state of the restrooms. It may not sound like a big deal, but if you're entertaining business associates or clients, it's mortifying. It's on the casino floor (short distance from bar) and the Rush Tower ladies room is notorious for being the bathing and changing clothes spot for the houseless. Last night there was also a stack of dirty rags and a dirty mop bucket, left by the Custodian I assume? I've mentioned this in my review of the hotel (where we'd NEVER stay if it weren't the company designated property) that to be clear, I'm not without sympathy for those living on the street. I simply don't wish to see a bunch of strung out people when I've excused myself to the restroom at dinner! It would seem that Landry's could provide a separate shower for them to utilize, since they're clearly trying to support their need to bathe. I would absolutely recommend Chart House, as the restaurants are the best part of this hotel.

Vacation Dinner

By Brothers58 |

Where do I start? Everything was wonderful. The restaurant was full yet our waiter, Brent made us feel like we were the only ones he was taking care of. All of our drink and meal selections were top notch. We tried a couple of the special infused cocktails. So much fun!!! We shared the jumbo prawn cocktail for our appetizer. My husband had the filet and I had the sea bass for our entree. Brent suggested a topping of lump crab meat and lobster for my fish. Loved it!!! We shared a slice of key lime pie for dessert. Our table was located next to their 750 thousand gallon aquarium. Fantastic dinner entertainment. Loved our visit to Chart House Las Vegas. We will be back.

Lunch at the Chart House

By Gwen S |

We had lunch here after visiting the Mob Museum. Lunch offers an abbreviated menu but still plenty of choices. My husband had the prime rib dip, I had the seafood salad. Both delishes and the bloody Mary was spot on. I liked that the restaurant was in the back of the casino, away from the hustle of the floor. Their menu is available online and was accurate for selection and prices.

Nice ambience with a fish tank but don't use their parking lot at the Golden Nugget

By RENEE M |

My daughter, daughter in law and myself had dinner at this restaurant in February 2023. We were staying at Resorts World and drove down here to have dinner. The restaurant itself is very nice and they are wonder fish and even stingrays in the tank. We had a wonderful U shaped booth right next to the tank. The dinner was good but the server was just ok. Nice guy but spent so much time telling us his life story and how wonderful his wife and new baby were. He talked way too much and we overheard the table close to us to ask him to basically shut up. We spent close to $300.00 at the restaurant. Now for the very big disappointment and why we will never go there again. We parked in the Golden Nugget parking garage which is where the restaurant is. The waiter never mentioned if we needed to have our parking ticket validated. We did not see any signs around the restaurant mentioning that either. We were at the restaurant and for a short time playing the slots for a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes. To our complete shock we got charged $50.50 for parking. Yes, you read that right! So, we will never step into the Golden Nugget again or recommend it to anyone!

Great Dinner at Chart House

By Paul B |

Wonderful Food and Wine in a unique environment. The service is excellent. Excellent value Great wine selection. My wife had the Ahi Tuna and I had the Mussels. Then we shared the Seafood Platter. We had the Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc/ Viognier.

The best steaks and seafood. The happy hour is a great choice if you just want drinks and appetizers

By dcain4uga |

Chart House is an excellent choice if you are staying at the Golden Nugget or anywhere on Fremont Street. The food is amazing. The happy hour at the bar is a great deal. Our server, Tiffany, has worked there several years. I remembered her from last year. I had laryngitis and Tiffany went above and beyond to help me. After dinner she brought me a steaming hot cup of water and a bouillon cube. She said it would soothe my sore throat. She was correct. She was so friendly and helpful. I go to Chart House every time I'm there. It's a beautiful restaurant.

Ace

By Paulito86 |

Had our wedding breakfast here as a small party of 6. The setting is fab with a big, beautiful fish tank. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food and cocktails were lovely. I highly recommend the calamari as a starter, but it’s very big so order a smaller main dish

Great food, poor management

By Greg M |

Date of service: Sunday, January 26, 2025 The good: Scenery is nice, with the big fish tank in the middle. Our food was really good. My Prime Rib was great and the Chart House cut is a perfect size portion. It came with a small portion of garlic mashed potatoes. My MIL had the jumbo crab cake and said it was delicious. The crab cake was served on top of a soft shell crab. The bad: For downtown Las Vegas, we figured CH would be a nice restaurant for a birthday celebration. It is inside the Golden Nugget, but far away from casino noise. Sure, people can get rowdy in Vegas, but you'd think they could control themselves in a nice restaurant. If they can't, it is staff's job to reel them in. Our night started well. The bar and restaurant were full and people seemed to be having a good time. But not one group was louder than the next. It was a nice atmosphere. A few minutes after we had ordered, a group of young ladies were seated next to us. They started out like everyone else, but got progressively louder. As one would get loud, another would get louder to talk over the first loud one. The next thing you know, each of the four is trying to be louder than the others to have their story or comment heard. Staff walked by them several times, but did not address the problem. One couple seated nearby appeared frustrated and left their table immediately after finishing their meal versus enduring more of the loud group. After almost 30 minutes of the noise getting louder and staying loud, I had to get up and ask them to quiet down. The ladies apologized and seemed to understand. But, within a few minutes, two got up and left, looking mad. Then after another minute, the other two got up and left, leaving all their drinks and not receiving their meals. When the server and manager finally realized the were all gone, they began looking for them. At the same time, the ladies must have been looking for the manager to complain about us, because the manager showed back up at their table with a drink tray and one of the ladies to take their drinks to another table. As they walked past us, the classless B flipped us off. Another table seated near us thanked me for saying something and commented how staff didn't do anything about something that was obviously a problem for other guests. The guys also said they saw the flip off. Part of our group could see them at their new table and could see the manager kissing their butts and really listening to whatever their complaint was. They continued to be loud at their new table and we could hear them from ours. Something along the lines of "you're in Vegas". The manager came back by our table and had a don't care attitude. He never apologized or offered any compensation. The apology was more important to me, but he made it seem like we didn't matter. He even had the nerve to say that I should have notified him versus handling it myself. We pointed out that was the problem, no one from his staff did anything. He didn't have a comment to that, just reiterated to let him handle it, as that is his job. This experience put a downer on our meal and experience at Chart House. Again, the food was really good, but we can't get over the lack of control and action from the staff, especially the manager.

Happy hour dinner

By willie777 |

The Chart House Happy Hours runs from 4 until 6 Monday Through Friday but it’s best not to wait too late. Available in the bar and lounge only. The place has a great aquarium to look out while drinking and eating. The prices run from 5 to 8 dollars and it is a great value. Their offerings include such things as Mediterranean hummus sampler, fresh spinach and artichoke dip, ahi nachos, shrimp tacos, prime rib sliders and Kim chew calamari. They also have other good selections. Specials also on specialty cocktails, beer and wine. A meal can be made on this excellent fare. The presentation is also quite impressive. The lounge chairs are a bit low and small. Excellent, attentive wait staff. We plan to return.

Always a pleasurable experience

By MiamiFlyer |

The Chart House is always my first stop (and usually my last as well) when I come to downtown Las Vegas. Food is always tasty and the chef sometimes makes some killer combinations. Service is always fantastic, and Maggie and the other bartenders pour a perfect drink. Good management team makes sure everything goes smoothly. Best shrimp cocktail I have found downtown and the happy hour represents an outstanding value.

Very Nice Dinner in Golden Nugget Casino

This Chart House is located in teh Golden Nugget casino. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Service was excellent. Food was great.

Happy hour 4 -6

By dcain4uga |

The martinis, blood orange margarita, beef sliders and fish tacos were all excellent! The happy hour appetizer has something for everything. A great value. Craving a martini now!

Amazing Fish aquarium

By Ben B |

We had a fantastic meal. It looked like the surrounding tables were also enjoying what they had one of the biggest draws to this place is your setting amongst a multi thousand gallon aquarium and the view is good from all the seating in the restaurant. Great atmosphere excellent food we would come back.

Happy hour!!!!!

By Tara G |

Best happy hour. The food is so great. A varied assortment to choose from. Pretty much something for everyone. As you sip and eat you can watch the fish in the huge fish tank behind the bar.

Great atmosphere and Dinner

By mermaid92683 |

The aquarium was lovely. All different kinds of fish. The lobster bisque was one of the best lobster bisque’s we’ve ever had. Dinner we both got the prime rib. The crust was really really salty. the meat part was good. The au jus was a bit salty as well. We also got the steamed asparagus. Large portion but thick cut asparagus never tastes as good as thinner cut. Unfortunately it was too thick and bitter half way down to end. Dessert was amazing. Ordered the lava cake. Was Cooked perfectly and lava part was great and delicious. Would come back but might try something other than prime rib.

Our Favourite Fremont Street Stop

By BC_Todd_11 |

Dined here on our annual pilgrimage to Fremont street. Seafood is amazing, but this time I tried the Brick Chicken. It was soooo good! Service buy Harris in the dining room and Stephen in the lounge was awesome. They are such a great group of staff here. We will be back!

Excellent 5⭐️

By Kimbosold1 |

First time to visit and sat at the amazing bar in front of the largest aquarium I have ever seen! Both bartenders were both friendly and knowledgeable, not their first rodeo! Everything from the Clam Chowder to the Seafood Pasta to the Key Lime pie was excellent! I will be back in Vegas next week and will return. 5⭐️

Small but mighty

By Nicole_Ferrara |

A tiny little place with excellent food and a super friendly and knowledgeable waitress. Not only did she know about the menu, but she knew about the giant fish tank inhabitants. Fun and educational. Truly a great evening. If you are going downtown and want a quiet, low key but upscale dining experience this is the place. I have not a single complaint.

Wonderful Food and Atmosphere

By SunNStars |

What a wonderful restaurant all around. The ambiance is really ramped up with the amazing fish tank to gaze at during dinner with so many different and beautiful fish. Service was on spot. The food was extremely good. The sea bass was outstanding and prepared very well. Highly recommend for a great meal out.

Excellent lunch and top notch service

By James M |

Went for a business lunch and really enjoyed being inside the aquarium with the fish! Our waiter was named James and he was excellent. Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. None of us were drinking booze and at most Vegas restaurants the server will ignore the table because the bill is going to be smaller. This was the absolute opposite today, as we were treated with the highest quality care possible. One of the party is a Landry’s card holder and even received a discount because it was near his birthday! We all had the salmon special and it was prepared to perfection. Highly recommend the Chart House in the Golden Nugget!

Better than I thought

By burke288 |

The food was very good and the service was good as well. We had a large group of 16 people and they attended to our needs well. The smoke in the lobby is pretty bad, but less noticeable at the table. If you are staying in the area and looking for pretty good seafood and good service this is a place to add to your list.

Great experience

By Krosener314 |

We got right in at our reservation time. And the staff as amazing. Our waitress Kim was great, the salmon, filet, sides, salads, and drinks were all amazing. We will definitely return!

Bone Marrow Treat

By Jacqueline F |

In town for a family affair - hubby and after search on-the-line for a nice early dinner location - came upon the ChartHouse. It did not disappoint. Our eyes were bigger than our stomach though. Order Bone Marrow - so decadent! Then KimChi Calamari - nice dish - I prefer my KimChi hotter, but my husband enjoyed this very much. THEN a Warm Spinach Salad - all this before the entree. Yes - we were regretting some of our decisions - NOT because they weren't delicious, but because the portions are so generous, neither of us could finish the salad, and I passed on the perfectly cooked Rib Eye entree. Service was perfect, attentive, but not overbearing. I will return, but will bring more people - sharing is caring.

Nice family lunch

By foodie_bob |

Took our son to check out Fremont St. vs. the strip. Decided to grab a nice lunch prior to heading back. Lucky for us we were near the Golden Nugget and found the Chart House. The restaurant was nicely done and comfortable. They had a awesome fish tank behind the bar and in the middle of the restaurant. We were seated right next to the tank and got to check out the fish along with the divers feeding them. Lunch was good. They had a decent variety and everybody was pleased with their meals. The waitress was also very nice.

Nice but not spectacular

By Lynn V |

We enjoyed our meal here. We were seated next to their spectacular aquarium. Some of the food was really good and some was meh. We liked the raw oysters, the tuna poke, the filet part of our skewers, and the chocolate lava cake. We were disappointed in the chopped salad and the overcooked dry shrimp on the skewers.

We’ll be back!

By FlyGurll |

A+++! Excellent service, excellent food, great dining experience! This restaurant is so well run with a staff who are all friendly, helpful, and engaging! We’ll be back!

One of the WORSE dinners EVER!!!

By Jennifer L |

I have been to the Chart House in Honolulu, this was nothing like that! Started with the hostess, she was not very nice at all. Our reservations were 3 people, but my husband was running late so we went ahead to the restaurant. She seated us in a booth and grabbed one of the place setting and walked away. I told her that there were going to be 3 of us dinning. I must say the waiter Rob was so nice and i felt sorry for him, One thing i thought was weird, all the tables had tablecloth except for the booths? when our drinks came, this was the first time I ever got a drink without a napkin? no problem. we ordered dinner and my husband asked if they had oysters rockafeller? the waiter said yes they do, so he order that. when the oysters came, we all looked at it and no one touched it. Rob came to ask if they were ok, and we told him no please take them away. they looked they were steamed, with a little of spinach, no holiday sauce. they were not even brown and no bread crumbs either. I guess they just do it different? We ordered spinach salad, i thought it was strange, the girl came and asked if it was ok for her to toss the salad, we told her yes, then she walked to a corner and tossed the salad and brought it to the table. we all thought that she was gong to do it at the table. I guess not. But the salad was good. my husband asked Rob if he could have them put my steak on because i like it extra well done. So if they start it before everything else, then it usually all comes out at the same time. Well my filet came out about 15 minutes before anyone else food came out? this is the first time i have ever had "fine dinning" like this. But that's ok, so i tried my steak, it looked good, just how i like it, except this was not a filet! the meat was so tough, I had to spit the meat out. I chewed and chewed but i had to spit itout. I paid $52 for meat that i could not eat. My husband ordered the salmon, it was ok, but he said mine was better. My girlfriend ordered the coconut shrimp, she said it was good. By this time I have had enough, no dessert. Next time we go to Vegas, we will go to Redwood at California hotel. been there lots of times and it is always good, so save your money or just go somewhere else!! you won't be sorry like i was!! To top things off, my husband is an executive chef.

Lovely atmosphere and enjoyable food

By Kvacay |

we were staying at the golden nugget and there was an advertisement for the fish tank at the chart house so we decided to try it out and it was fantastic! The food was presented in an over the top vegas manner with beautiful presentation. The entrees were very large portions and offered a large variety. We tried a little bit of everything with an appetizer of coconut shrimp. Clam chowder and lobster bisque soup, then an entree each I had a platter with lobster tail, fish, shrimp, and skinny fries it was a bit much but very good! Definitely worth trying if you are in the area!!

Expensive Disappointing Dining Experience

By Timothy C |

It was my wife’s birthday and to celebrate we visited The Chart House. The main attraction to this place inside the Golden Nugget is a 7500 gallon fish tank filled with over 1000 fish. We opened by sharing a $19 Shrimp Cocktail. That was quite good. My wife ordered the $45 shrimp and scallops with rice. The scallops were mostly raw. I ordered the $23 Fish and Chips. The pieces of fish covered a bed micro fries which were covered by a weird mass of inedible fried shavings. The batter on the fish was very bland and no cole slaw accompanied the dinner. For the next few hours a heavy greasy taste was left in my mouth. Overall the worst fish and chips in a long time for me. The bill came to $101 after tip (we had no alcohol). With 7000 plus eating places in Las Vegas I think you can find better places to spend your hard earned money.

Oyster Bar

By LaRhonda M |

We were very excited to eat oysters at the Chart House while on vacation during New Year's 2021, but they were temporarily closed.

Good but eat light

By Thetravelertoday |

Went to eat here and the food was good. Just don't eat a ton as it is a bit on the heavy side. Service was super and the fish display was a nice backdrop. Pleasant and quiet alternative to the louder restaurants.

Awful

By Brad B. |

Terrible service, average food, and terribly overpriced for the overall experience! I ate there with a small group of veterans attending a reunion. I had an appetizer of oysters and then a dinner of filet mignon with a add on of grilled shrimp. Oysters are of course seasonal and location derived but these were small and dry. The Filet mignon was cooked to order, however it was hands down the toughest Filet mignon I have ever attempted to cut OR chew! The only item that was good was the grilled shrimp. To make the whole experience worse the server was inattentive and rude. I had to ask the hostess as she walked by to please send someone to refill my tea and another server the same on another. The restaurant might have been at 25% of capacity at the time. I of course knew the prices of the items I ordered but when my wife’s and I check arrived it only further magnified our disappointing dinner. While I was but one person in my group, I can tell you that the rest of our SMALL groups reviews were mixed at best. I highly recommend you dine a another restaurant.

Excellent place have a few drinks and have excellent appetizers. Had their Panko friend devil eggs, prime rib sliders Which were excellent. Clean and friendly personnel

Excellent service and good food

By jenabaintheworld |

What a treat to have lunch here. Excellent service with Jenny, who was so helpful and considerate for our group. Lovely ambiance with a stunning aquarium over 25 feet tall. Diverse menu. Quality food, and I enjoyed the lobster and brie grilled sandwich. Highly recommend.

Excellent Seafood Restaurant

By adaiello92 |

This was our first time in Las Vegas and as seafood lovers we have had some phenomenal seafood around the world and had this place recommended to us. The food was absolutely amazing and prices were pretty reasonable. The service was unbelievable. From the time we ordered to the time we received our food was maybe a little more than 5 minutes which was insane. I would 100% recommend the tour de shrimp if you are a shrimp lover. Also the homemade chocolate lava cake takes about 30 min to make since it’s fresh and is worth waiting for it to be made. Honestly if you love seafood I would highly recommend trying this place.

Beautiful Restarant located in the newer section of the golden nuggett.

By Steve |

The restaurant had average food and exceptional service (by server S. Shinogle) We had 2 fish tacos and 2 chicken Cobb salads. The food was less then average but the restaurant is beautiful and the service was exceptional. I would go again but try something different

get the calamari

By Jn t |

After many disappointing ( and expensive) restaurant choices around Vegas. This was hands down the best. was talked into ordering KIM CHEE CALAMARI . Oh holy cow, fantastic. it has been years since a restaurant surprised me. This did. Steak was perfect. we did chart house prime rib. potatoes that came with it were good. we were stuffed and satisfied two mixed drinks with tip 150 +/-. Sorry for Vegas, inflation, and new years eve. That's cheap. Not just a good deal. The food was great.

Good meal, awesome aquarium

By Angie W |

I had been looking forward to this place for some time and finally made it there! The food was very good. Service was perfect. The thing I really enjoyed was the giant fish and aquarium!

Excellent dinner!

By rm0463 |

We had a great dinner here while staying at the Golden Nugget. The menu had a great selection of seafood and other dishes too. Everything was perfect and our service was great too.

Friday night seafood

By ed w |

Since every hotel and restaurant on Fremont Street has a buffet. We opted out of that experience and decided after careful review to try the upscale a la carte seafood at the Chart House restaurant inside of the Golden Nugget casino. Great service from the server Kim. We started with the seafood tower with chilled items(lobster tails, King Crab claws raw oysters and poached to per fection shrimp). All excellent!! WE finished with the steamed king Crab entree(split) which was outstanding. Thanks Chart House we did not know that you did it like that. We will try you in another city.

Great restaurant and food!

By USACanuck |

The food and atmosphere were great. Three of 5 of us ordered the spinach salad and they said it was the best they ever had. The rest of the meals were very good. Our server and his assistant were very good. The reason I didn’t give it 5/5 was that when the waiter brought the bill he said, it is customary to tip 20%. We all felt this was very pretentious of him to say that.

5 stars for staff, food and ambiance.

By Tammy B |

Absolutely amazing. The hostess was friendly, sat us , told us the servers name so we would know. Nate came to our table and graciously offered to go through the menu, which he did wonderfully. He took our appetizer order of the Kimchi calamari (holy cow good) and gave us time to peruse the menu without feeling pressured. Then Andraya came to the table w a witty sense of humor and stated that she knows she wasn’t what we were expecting as she looked a little different than Nate, but that he was heavy loaded in his section so she was going to take over for us. Great teamwork in my opinion, thanks for not running too thin to take care of us. Nate had sold me on the special, a Chilean sea bass bronzed w scallops and shrimp. My husband chose the prime rib. While awaiting our meal, the fresh bread was so soft and warm. As stated above, we loved the calamari, which was a huge serving size compared to any other restaurant I’ve been to. Then dinner was presented. My husband’s prime rib looked amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned, he only let me sneak one bite. She sat down my plate, I smiled and said, this looks delicious but it isn’t what I ordered. With the switching of servers, when I said special, she thought it was the specialty platter. Andraya was completely amazing. She apologized, told us to snack on the platter and went to have them make my ordered dish. She really did right by us. Not upset at all. PS, the fried lobster tail and coconut shrimp were yummy! She brought out my dinner, by that time I was so full, but that Chilean sea bass melted in my mouth. Wow. My husband got to enjoy my scallops, there were seeds sprinkled on the top and I have diverticulitis so I couldn’t eat it. He was happy to oblige. As if we weren’t full enough, she brought us out a molten lava cake as one more apology for our mixup. We needed to be rolled out of the restaurant but were so completely happy with our whole experience. Nate continued to check on us the rest of the evening also. Kudos and great thanks to them both. Will definitely eat there again in the future. Oh and the fish tank was great to watch also.

Food quality falling; service is spotty.

By rose c |

King Salmon at $43 was over salted, over cooked and mushy served with raw parsnips and black broccoli. Refills for water and coffee took over 20 minutes when not a time(4:30pm Monday.) I have eaten here numerous times in the past with excellent results but after this visit no more. Too many other places to spend my money.

Mixed Bag - Some Great, Some 'Meh'

By Rich807 |

Food: The Chilean Sea Bass was excellent as was the beet salad. Prime rib was barely mediocre & not worth the $... thin, super fatty, & crazy peppery. Lobster bisque was 'ok'. Chocolate Lava Cake was mediocre at best. Mushrooms were 'meh'. Service: Our waiter was very friendly, bordering on too friendly. Kitchen either never made the side dish we ordered with our entrees or messed it up. Wait staff didn't catch it & brought our meals out missing a key item we wanted with our entrees. We had to ask where our extra dish was then wait for it to be cooked & brought out... unfortunate. Probably wouldn't opt for Chart House LV again with maybe exception for lunch service. The price of parking is INSANE at Golden Nugget (they wanted $50 for parking during the night of our visit) & parking down the street at other public lots can be very sketchy with the vagrant situation downtown, especially after dark. As it was it cost $25 to park outside at another casino so that cost adds to the nearly $100 a person it cost us to dine at Chart House for a nice evening meal. For this kind of investment in dinner everything better be bang-on & outside of the sea bass it wasn't.

Amazing food and service

By Bobthebuilder1976 |

My wife and I frequent The Chart House for apps and happy hour whenever we are in town for business or for pleasure. The service, food and appetizers are always on point. Last Tuesday we had dinner with them. Our waiter was awesome, the king salmon was incredible. Of all the meals we had, this was the one our employees remembered and continue to talk about. The manager, Leah, stopped frequently and checked on us. Fantastic place, we will return several times. Thank you, Chart House!

Hidden Gem

By Jennie W |

We found out Chart House had a happy hour, sold! It was perfect portion size and most importantly delicious! We had fish tacos and the Baja shrimp. Since we were so full after eating we indulged in the dessert menu, and let me tell you the Mud Pie did not disappoint. If you are planning on going for happy hour get there at 4:00 as there was a line to get in, happy hour is only for the bar a 3 bar tables. The dinner menu looked fantastic as well and there were several people with reservations coming in as we sat at the bar. Our bar tender made the meal! I wish I knew her name but sue had long dark hair and glasses and she is on point with her service and her knowledge of the fish too.

Be a WINNER and eat here for dinner!

By Michael N |

Hey, just eat here. Waitstaff? Friendly and quick. Prime rib so good I saw a cow ordering it. Mushroom side dish..get it and your family will build a monument to you. All kidding aside, if you want what would seem like an upscale dinner environment that has a great vibe, great food, and a really accommodating staff, eat here!

Our dinner at the Chart House

By Gary T |

We were in Vegas last weekend and decided to try a few new restaurants. One of them was the Chart House. Our thoughts: 1. Overall, food was good. Seafood oriented. 2. Waiter, Donnie, was excellent. 3. Biggest issue is the location. The restaurant is located in the Golden Nugget in downtown Vegas. We had heard that downtown was being revitalized. That was falsehood number one. The place is like a third world country. The Golden Nugget itself should be razed. The cast of characters hanging out in and around the hotel should be reason alone not to travel to this section of the city. 4. Restaurant is expensive. Dinner for two with one bottle of wine was $225 with tip. Although we thought the restaurant was decent (and has a nice fish tank), it is not worth the trip to this seedy section of town. Be careful if you go there and bring mace to be on the safe side. Hope this helps.

Get the seabass and thank me later

By Christina W |

No complaints here. Staff was attentive and provided excellent suggestions. I had the Chilean Blackened Seabass. Possibly the single best entrée I had all week in Vegas. Oysters were very good. I didn't have enough room for dessert 😩.

Disappointing Last Meal In Vegas

By Laurie A |

We were all starving and wanted a good meal before leaving Vegas we have eaten at other chart house locations so decided to visit here to our disappointment the food was horrible we ordered 3 fish and chips only 1 order came and the other 2 were fish tacos we were pressed for time because we had to get to the airport so we kept the fish tacos which were a disappointment no fish and the fish in the fish and chips was hard dry and had a strong fish smell (the French fries were edible) one party had the scallops/shrimp and the scallops were like rubber ….the chowder was edible …. (The fish tank is beautiful and we enjoyed the beautiful fish) one plus and the calamari appetizer was very good This was just a very disappointing parting meal after a wonderful vacation when we voiced our concerns to management He was very rude expressing you should have complained immediately and I could’ve done something about it Remember we had a flight to catch we were gracious about them bringing the wrong meals This experience has left a bad taste in our mouths and We Highly recommend they get a new manager visited 11/19/2023 approx 3pm

Family celebration

By lisa myers |

Had reservations for nine people, our table was ready and we were seated promptly, knowledgeable waiters who took the time to explain all our questions. I had the prime rib and it was amazing, very tender and flavorful! One person in our party had the blackened salmon and raved how good it was. Everyone was satisfied with their food choices. Great drinks, will definitely return on our next visit to Vegas. And the huge aquarium adds a nice and calming touch!

Great Seafood

By Bretmcbunch |

We were visiting Fremont Street and chose to dine here for the fresh seafood. We enjoyed a bottle J Lahr Cab with their fresh bread. The spinach salad with the warm bacon dressing was so good…I hated that we were sharing it. The waitress talked me into the Mac Nut Mahi with warm peanut sauce and rice. It was very good. My husband had the blackened Chilean Sea Bass which was also perfectly cooked! We enjoyed our meal and the service was great!
