Try the fried fish! OMG! Awesome. Oxtail is the bomb after a long week of ski lodge food this place revived every tastebud that got shut down by the cold... flavour and service top notch... this is no airport food this is HOME.

Great service and food thank you! Love the pork and plantains! The service was quick and efficient! A great end to a day in Miami

Food looked disgusting 🤮 it’s 100 people everywhere no line people didn’t have on no mask people had shirt over there mouth and nose they said they had no rice how you run out of rice and that’s all you sell is meat and rice don’t go there ever go to another one or find another Haitian restaurant you’ll be sick eating that bull crap I tried to call to speak to manager and got hung up on

I was a little intimated walking through Little Haiti late at night to get to this place as a few cars had pulled up to tell me I shouldn't walk alone in that area at night. However, I'm really glad I kept going as when I got here the food was AMAZING and everyone was really welcoming. I had a fish that was so large I laughed when it was brought out and plantain fritters with rice and peas and really tasty hot sauce. Highly reccommended and DEFINITELY arrive hungry because I had enough for 3 dinners! I wish I had asked for some hot sauce to take back to London.

We decided to try this Little Haiti stalwart - as my wife spent much of her childhood as an ex pat in Haiti. We were not disappointed by this popular spot (takeout lines emerging at 11:30am) - with fresh local Haitian fare (Griot, Shrimp, Chicken, Legume). Clean bathrooms, relaxed seating area out back - and friendly staff. We’ll be back!

The food was great!!! My Family and I were in town for a funeral and wanted some authentic seafood. We were told about this place. The all ordered different things and decided to share. Everything was good from the seafood to bbq. It's take out so they come to the car and take your order. We noticed that had a outdoor hut so we decided to sit under there and it was very nice. I'm giving them 4 stars because they forgot about us and we had to remind the we were out there. They did apologize. Once again food was awesome. Im looking forward to eating there again next time I'm in Miami.

I had the conch stew and my wife the oxtail stew, both where extraordinary and full of flavor!! don't expect a five star dinning this is more of a Caribbean " traditional" style place. I should of ordered more plantains but i was full thanks to the generous portions of rice and beans.

My Florida family stay's at this place when no one feels like cooking. Tried this spot for the first time being in Florida for my bday and the HYPE IS REAL! I had a chance to sample the Griot, fried conch, conch fritters, shrimp and chicken wings. I left there full and happy. The fruit punch is also awesome. Had pretty long wait, but the owner took care of us. This spot did not disappoint.

We were in the area and look for a different kind of lunch, we found Chef Creole. Place is modest, not fancy at all but the food is good and its pretty busy . You can order to go, they also have drive thru but we had lunch there and Maria service us with a smile. Hubby got the port Riot and I had the oxtail. rice was tasty and the sweet plantains were just right (which is latin food is an art) they cannot be to fried or too soft. I will go back back for the conch fritters.

The food was fantastic I will be back thank you Judeline the staffs are very friendly I enjoyed the food

I went for lunch with coworkers recently while in town. We sat in the outdoor covered area. The service was decent and the food was great. I had the griot and it was great. It is no fancy place, but the food makes it worth it.

I visited here whilst staying at the Riu Plaza Miami Beach hotel. Found it via a google search. Absolutely delicious food especially the fish and fried chicken wings. A must visit whenever you are in Miami.

I had a great experience at this very busy restaurant in Little Haiti Miami. I had the stew chicken which was cooked to perfection,My daughter ordered fried fish with peas and rice and the container was over a foot long!!! I had rice and peas and potato cakes, My Corona with lime was an extra plus. This restaurant is extremely busy and I am told it is like this everyday all day but even with the large amount of customers service is great with quick delivery of meals

Delicious food. Good price for quality. I recommend for those who don't want to spend too much. For take away or enjoy at place.

Heard of this restaurant and since its Haitian inspired and im also Haitian i had to go visit it. Ordered their conch (lambi) made is sauce with rice & peas as well as sweet plantains. The serving was good. The seafood, soo delicious. Paid about $16 i believe for that ordee. Also ordered fries and chicken for a young child. That order was only $7 dollars. So it was affordable. The property is nicely decorated and is in open air setting. You can get a nice breeze as you sit and eat or wait. I definitely will return and refer the properproperty.

Definitely a great place for Haitian and Jamaican classics. A must try, there are more than one location around Miami. The head chef has been on talk shows and all over social media and should be! I know friends of mine have said celebs have walked in to get take out from Chef Creole.

The food here is spectacular. I've had my share of Haitian food. I am married to a Haitian, but this is the best Haitian food I have ever had. Portions are huge. Prices are fair. The dining area is a palm tree thatched structure, decorated in a laid back island vibe. Felt like I was on a small island instead of being in America. This definitely isn't your normal tourist trap restaurant and some may be a bit put off by the neighborhood. However, if you want amazing amazing food, go here. Just go in the day time . . . don't know that I would want to be in this area late at night,. We Had: Stewed Conch Grilled Chicken Rice and Peas Conch Fritters Everything was amazingly delicious,

Great food is really all I can say. I ordered the jerk wings with rice and peas and bae ordered the fried fish filet with rice and peas. You can order through their drive-up or walk up. If you want something quick, good, and inexpensive this is your place for some good Haitian food!!

Every time I am in town I stop here, but my recent visit was very disappointing. I ordered 2 orders of fried chicken, 1 fried pork and a fried fish. The fish was way over priced and not cooked well. The chicked in both orders were pink inside. I am not sure if this will be my go to place anymore :(

I took a friend to this restaurant to try Haitian food. I had the oxtail dish and he had ribs. The staff took a long time to bring out the food but it was worth the wait. Their food is delicious and filling. They give you a lot of food so it's worth the price. The aroma, presentation, etc was amazing. They have a drive thru so you can pre order for your convenience. The restaurant is not closed in so dealing with Miami bipolar weather, where rain comes out of no where, might be an issue. There is also the sound of traffic from the busy street. But the setting is cute. You're sitting under a tiki hut! You're able to enjoy the fresh breeze. There's flat screen tv so you can be entertained while waiting for your meal. Lastly, the staff is super nice and attentive.

Excellent kitchen creole and very kindly. A good Tip in Miami and a friendly Team all together. We will come again

i was looking for a creole seafood restaurant while in Miami , when I went to google i found Chef creole since it's was listed as a chain in Miami I decided to give it a try......Worst decision ever. First we went to one that has a outdoor seating while driving by the back kitchen was open and a lady was sitting on the floor peeling somes vegetables, so i decide to try another one , then we arrived at the one on 1392 NW 119th St Miami, FL 33167. there nobody paid attention to us, I need to use the ladies room and there were no light in the ladies room, my husband used the men's, and it was disgusting, so I offered my husband to leave .He convinced me on staying. we order food to stay and they served us in to go boxes, which at the end appear safer to me because not sure of the cleanliness of the place. The food was actually not bad, just a little pricey because everything is sold seperatly. That place could be good if they do some renovations and get a profesional staff.Even with bad service it's busy , but the customers look from around.Really disapointed

like most Floridians I have been frequenting chef creole for years. When I come home to visit I make sure that I stop bye... be prepared to wait wait and wait!! I can honestly say it worth for...

One of my favorite restaurants to visit in Little Haiti. They have amazing food - you keep wanting to go back. It has a few Haitian dishes - but more caribbean cuisine. The fried conch is amazing with the rice and peas and bunin (fried plantain) They have a back lot that hosts an outdoor art night during 2nd Saturday's artwalk in the summer - so if you're in town and end up in midtown for artwalk you should def stop by chef's for food and fun. The food takes a while -- so come with patience and the service has a very 'local' feel. Oh and the line gets hella long at night - so again - come with patience.

Every time I’m in Miami this place is a must stop for me! Hands down food is always fresh & authentic bursting with flavor. This time I had their stewed chicken, along with conch fritters with and order of shrimp & rice to go. Any & everything on the menu is delicious, you won’t go wrong with whatever you select. Only downside they are closed on Sundays....

Need to improve service . Waiting time too long. Need to hire more staff. Will comeback to see if improved.

This place had a lot of reviews so I came in with high expectations however the food was not that great! I tried some other places where the food of similar cultures just blew me away. The service was also not great.

A little dive with a cute backyard space for in dining. I usually do take out. Slow and unfriendly service, but the food is worth it. Good value for your money.

The food was good the lobster was a little over cooked but im now a fan of conch a real miami cuisine.

I only wish I could give this place a better review as I'm a regular but, sad to say, your experience depends on the cook and your server. Turnover seems to be very high and employees complain about not receiving tips when added to credit or debit card transactions. Like I said, sometimes the food is really good so I don't want to discourage anyone. Also this neighborhood is safest for locals so I advise tourists to visit before dusk. The drive thru is also an option.

The place is casual but nice and clean, they have breezy outdoor surrounded by palms. Food is delicious and portion very generous. The shrimps were yummy and the rice very well cooked. The sauce are very good too. Service is fair, I read complain about service in ther review, fir us it was fair, may be because at lunch, we were almost alone outside (but many people to take away, good sign for freshness); I like to have authentic good food and I pretty like when the places are casual like this one. Some people complain about that so well... I think they will find some what more average and expensive somewhere else. If you like, like me, authentic places, good food as a fair price, surrounded by local people, this is the right place to go !

This place didnt have as much flavor as I was expecting with the other reviews. I only came because Anthony Bourdain has it on his list. The chicken was supposed to be jerk but it was like someone put a jar of green salsa on top of wings. Weird. The conch was good. Service was slow and unorganized.

I would of gave this place 5 stars but the wait was long, but worth it if you have the time. They are short staffed....The food though is Great and fresh. You will definitely get the Caribbean vibe.

The people they have working at the front are inept and incompetent. I called in to get my food and when I finally get to the restaurant I wait there for another hour!!! I knew they forgot my order or someone messed up because after the 30min mark they kept pointing at me and speaking creole. When I finally get my food and I do not get a single apology, not a couple extra shrimp or free conch fritters. I hate my job too but at least my efficient in doing it. Horrible service and even though the food is good I'm probably not going there anymore. Not even a single apology!!!

I like the fried fish my husband loves their rice and beans. Reasonable and tasty a most try while in Miami

Stopped in just in the area. WE WANTED TO SUPPORT a business (FOOD RESCUE US) who fed so many during the beginning of COVID. What a find!! HUGE PORTIONS. We are so full and Happy!! The food is "on point" !!! Yummy - HIDDEN GEM

Chef Creole is fresh and very tasty! They have been in business over 25 years and have locations all over Miami. It's a family business and the food is quality made and seasoned so it's very tasty.

Hidden gem In Miami! We had fried snapper, fried shrimp and oxtail are to die for! Two people can one order of fried snapper. We will go again before we leave MiAmi.

we had a lovely dinner with way too large portions of fantastic shrimp, lambis and oxtail. loved the rustic outdoor dining area with great Haitian music playing. staff were fantastic, gave great advice as to what to try...just couldn't finish the enormous amounts we were provided!

My first visit and I was extremely pleased with the enormous portions. We ordered Shrimp, rice & beans and plantains. Very friendly staff who explained the concept, various choices and so on. I did miss my greens🤓 Worth a visit whenever you visit Miami.

We had lunch at this place and the food was fabulous. The waitress brought order out in a flash. I tried the beer prestige from Haiti, awesome. Will go again!

We saw the grill drum from the road and had to stop. Lots to choose from but we got the grilled chicken. We honestly thought it was going to be jerk but the grilled was ok. We sat in the outside seating area and had a nice breeze. Out food arrived shortly, along with bottles of Prestige, a Haitian beer. The chicken came with a small container of "pickle" sauce, which was AMAZING! The chicken was ok but that pickle made it great! They offered lots of seafood options too. Should we return, I would try those instead of the chicken.

Awesome food, nice variety of options with some good sauces to dip into. More of a Carribean feel than Creole, friendly staff - we can see it's big with locals.

I have been going to this location since I was a kid. 20 years later and the place still on point and growing. If you like authentic Haitian food you should give this spot a try.

The best Haitian restaurant in Miami! The food is exceptional here, the Griot platter is top notch. The positive are great food made to order. The negatives are because it’s made to order the wait could be a little long. But we’ll worth the wait!

This place was awesome!!! I lived in Miami years ago and knew they have great food from all cultures. I've been back with work for the past month and have been eating at different places all over the city. I woke up this morning and had a taste for oxtails and Chef Creole popped up in a search as being only 10 minutes away from my hotel.... The place looks old but the employee's and food are great!! Many tourists were there eating and enjoying the place when I arrived around 130pm.... I ordered the oxtail platter which came with plantains, beans and rice, and salad.... You won't be disappointed in the food at all.... And if you've ever been to the Caribbean you won't be disappointed in the structure...

best authentic food I have found in Miami love love love his place its in the ghetto but it's so worth it... you can even buy take home jar of PIKLIZ!
Food so good I had to take a Uber back for more
This place was the best. I went her the second day of my trip and had to go back the last day as well. the food was excellent both times . We will definitely be returning when in Miami
