For the first time, ever, we had the most decadent, delicious gluten free deep dish pie & it was perfect!! The restaurant & is very casual & the pizza is amazing. They make their gluten free crust. We also had the grilled calamari, salad & regular deep dish.

I visited the Lakeview location and was very impressed with the location. I was every more impressed that they offered a deep dish gluten free option. It was fantastic! They also offered gluten free bread that they could use to substitute for regular bread in many of their items. While this is not a gluten free kitchen, they did their absolute best to accommodate my dietary needs. My stomach was a little off after, but I could not pass up the opportunity to try it. The service was fantastic and the sangria was even better. This is a great restaurant for the authentic Chicago experience and a great place for friends, and families with children.

Went there for lunch and said that we are new in town and do not know the differences between the various crust options. The waitress explained everything very nicely and served us with a smile. Very good tasting deep dish pizza and the soup is really good. Every customer we saw coming in got the same level of service.

Our annual trip to Chicago involves an annual trip to a different Chicago style pizza place…this year my wife’s sensibility wanting gluten free options won out which brought us to Chicago’s Pizza (The Lakeview location.) There are lots of gluten-free options including bread, calzones, pizza (of all depths) all made from their house-made gluten free-dough. For gluten-full me I had two kinds of deep dish pizza to choose from…One is their stuffed crust (“what we’re famous for” our waiter said) which has an extra layer on the bottom with cheese in it. They also have a more traditional Chicago deep dish pizza and the crusts and sauces for both are different. It was Memorial day Monday and we were the only people in the restaurant. They took good care of us. I got their house extra crust/cheese pizza which very much looked like a traditional Chicago Deep Dish. The taste of the crust though wasn’t the classic buttery crust you’d get on the traditional deep dish…more like thick bread which isn’t usually what I’m going for on pizza of any kind. The sauce was super good though! My wife thought the gluten-free was satisfying for what it was, though it had been so long since she had had a deep dish pizza that she couldn’t quite compare to the real thing. She did think the bottom of the crust in the middle was a little mushy but kudos to them for home making gluten-free dough and providing a legitimate experience to those with that diet, as opposed to so many restaurants that use frozen gluten-free dough. The small pizzas, by the way, are actually quite large. It was way more than us little people could eat. (Especially getting 2, one gluten free and one regular.) In the end I would have preferred the standard Deep Dish with the butter crust as that’s really what Chicago is all about whereas the stuffed crust is a little gimmicky and doesn’t offer anything special.

My son and I are celiac. We had their GF deep dish tonight and it was phenomenal. This is the only place we have found in our travels which has GF deep dish. The servers were very knowledgeable and very responsive. They provide standard gf bruschetta as a starter which was very good with evoo. We drove about an 30 minutes out of our way to try this based upon internet feedback. Well worth the effort. The highlight though was the pizza. The gf crust was great and I ate every bit of the crust. Highly recommended.

Without question this is the best gluten free pizza we have ever eaten - hands down not even close to any other GF pizza.

As far as Chicago style deep dish pizza goes, this was definitely worth a visit. Maybe not the “original”, but darn good interpretation. The big draw for my family was a ton of gluten free options, comparatively speaking. No other classic Chicago pizza joint has this many options for gluten free crust, at least not that I’ve found. Will definitely go back for more.

When you eat gluten free, you miss out on a lot of things. But gluten free deep dish doesn't have to be one of them! And a trip to Chicago as to include one meal of deep dish pizza so make sure Chicago's Pizza is the place you go. They have a surprising number of gluten free options. We chose the gluten free deep dish with pepperoni, green pepper and onions and it was delicious! We ordered it to our hotel because we were tired from the day and the online ordering was easy and the order arived right in time.

Always a big favorite in our house. Good food and they deliver their entire menu until 5am. Doesn't get much better than that!

I am not GF but my girlfriend is. Is it exactly Chicago regular crust? no. Is it tasty? Yes! Imagine really good GF crust pressed into deep dish and baked to similar consistency of regular deep dish. Anyway, damn good and if you are GF and missing some pizza, try it. We did and it was delish. Now we are going to wobble (btw this is the appropriate verb when leaving a deep dish place) out of here to enjoy this fine city. Maybe catch the cubbies.

Chicago's Pizza on Lincoln Ave hits the spot for deep dish cravings. Their crust is buttery and flaky, while the chunky tomato sauce and gooey cheese are a delicious combination. Be sure to specify your topping preferences, especially if you're an anchovy enthusiast (they're generous here!).

For all of you GF peeps out there...just yum. They asked as we walked in if anyone was GF. (Half of our party is.) They brought out their house-made focaccia, GF and regular. It was tender and flavorful, topped with tomato and fresh rosemary. The GF calzone took 40 minutes (they double-checked that this was okay) and wow was it worth the wait. At first glance I thought the price was a bit steep, but it turns out it could have fed at least 3 people. I can't wait for leftovers!

We stopped in for a Chicago pizza and we pleasantly surprised . The Chicago supreme is so good. When you go expect to wait for your food but it is well worth the wait. The appetizer bread is delicious! It is small but has a huge flavor. I hope you go and enjoy.

Great pizza with flavorful sauce and good-size chunks of topping choices at reasonable prices, plus, they deliver. Better than Uno's, Malnati's, Pequods.

I’m a senior citizen who grew up in Chicago eating pizza. I notice, on a recent visit, that things have changed in the pizza scene with more niche restaurants. I guess if you need gluten free pizza this might be the place; but if you just want real Chicago style pizza, I think you need to go where they make thin crust with lots of smooth, ungloppy sauce that adheres to the surface and you can eat like a cracker with your hands. If you need a fork and a knife to eat pizza it’s probably because they’ve given you a variant of lasagna on bread with high sides.

I've been ordering consistently from Chicago Pizza for over 25 years. We received our pizza tonight and found a piece of old pizza underneath the new pizza in the middle. So incredibly disappointed and disgusted! Never again.

The restaurant was not busy or crowded, but don't let that fool you! The food was great! We had a gluten free and regular pizza, along with a salad we shared. Both pizzas were very good! My daughter who is allergic to wheat really enjoyed the gluten free pizza. They even offered her gluten free bread when we sat down at the table. They were very conscience of food allergies.

Ordered a pizza for delivery and enjoyed the gluten free stuffed pizza. Chose the cheese and sausage pizza. Delivery driver called ahead of time to let me know he was nearby. The one suggestion is for the restaurant to bring along some plastic ware with the order, especially since it was to a hotel address.

It was the first time I ate deep dish pizza and I must say it was EXQUISITE, SUPER. Excellent filling, delicious sauce. In short, a rating from 0 to 10, I would give 100!!! I recommend it to anyone who is in Chicago, you must stop at Chicago Pizza's for delicious slice of their deep dish pizza!!!

We had a gluten averse visitor so based on reviews we tried Chicago's Pizza's GF version. Sorry, but this simply is not real Chicago deep dish. The crust is very thin but turned up at the edge to make it look "deep." The crust was tough and I almost got a steak knife to cut it. The sauce and toppings were good but overall the pizza was sorely lacking. After two slices of the real thing, I'm stuffed; after two slices of this stuff, I was still hungry. Plus, it was more expensive than the real thing.

In a city known for their pizza this is one of the best. The crust pizza won't disappoint. Spinach is one of our favorites. There are thin pizza is equally as good.

Simply the perfect Chicago stuffed pizza. Whatever way you like it, you won't be disappointed. The focus of this pizzeria is delivery business and they do this exceedingly well. fast delivery until 5am, never over an over, even during rush times. Great prices and delicious food. What more can you ask for? They have an extensive menu that meets many dietary needs as well. Check out their website for online coupons.

They have Gluten Free Chicago-style stuffed pizza, and it is out of this world! Also, they deliver to the Chicago metropolitan area. We had the pizza delivered to our hotel! Their regular pizza is great, too - but it is very hard to find good gluten free pizza. http://www.chicagos-pizza.com/chicago-style-stuffed-pizza

We had done our research all things gluten free pointed here and the restaurant did not disappoint. Staff was fantastic, salad was good and the pizza - crust, sauce and toppings left us with no complaints and a happy smile - had to come back a 2nd day!

Great overall experience! Right after being seated, the server asked if we had any food allergies. The answer was no, however this showed to me that they are concerned about their patrons. We ordered a stuffed pizza and it was very good. The sausage could have had a little more fennel to it, but otherwise, the pizza was very good. The service was also top-notch. I will definitely return!

Gluten free pizza heaven! They asked as soon as we sat down if we had anyone gluten free and brought bread for everyone. Service was exceptional and food was amazing.

My God, that gluten free menu is amazing! I ordered the stuffed gluten pizza and cheesy bread. It was to die for! So good I sometimes consider driving six hours to get it. My mom, who is not gluten free, could not tell the difference between the normal pizza and the gluten free pizza. If you are gluten free, DO NOT skip on this restaurant. It will warm your heart in ways you thought were no longer possible. Chicago's Pizza does not disappoint!

They serve gluten free pizza and it is awesome. It is art. If you are looking for gluten free food and if you are staying in Chicago, I would strongly recommend you to visit this place and have deep dish gluten free pizza. Note that preparing pizza took 30 minutes in my case. Take your time and enjoy! Thanks to contributors in the past, I have read your reviews and reached to Chicago’s Pizza.

Our favourite place. We love the food and drinks. Thank you for the special menu. We will definitely come back very soon.

If your gluten free and want Chicago style pizza, this is your place! Not only do they have deep dish pizza, but also stuffed gluten free pizza and gluten free Calzones! Homemade crust....awesome! Great service too!

Great pizza! Had the Chicago stuffed pizza with pepperoni and it was amazing. My daughter had the cheddar and broccoli and she said it was the best she's ever had.

As soon as we walked in they asked if we were gluten free. They served GF bread while we waited for our pizza. Keep in mind it takes 40 minutes for the pizza to be prepared fresh but it is totally worth it! We had a medium which for 2 people was still too big for a stuffed pizza. I am not GF but I had the GF pizza and I couldn’t even tell it was GF; that’s how amazing it was! Another nice feature is we were able to order half and half for toppings since we each like different things. The staff is very friendly and they have a full bar with an excellent bartender.

Went here for dinner with some friends. I'm celiac so I have to maintain a gluten-free diet. Chicago's Pizza made my day! They have gluten-free beer on tap, gluten-free bread for the table, and I was able to get a gluten-free deep dish pizza for the first time!! It was delicious!!!! The rest of the table thoroughly enjoyed their regular pizza and appetizers as well. It may not have been very crowded in the restaurant but they look like they have a booming takeout business. A must-try if visiting Chicago and you are gluten-free!!!

The gluten free options were surprising and amazing. As someone with celiac disease being able to get gluten free deep dish IN Chicago was fun! Had to remind the waitress not to use the same spatula when serving me as she was going to use the one she used for my friends regular pizza. Overall recommend going!

When planning a trip to Chicago, I figured you have to at least try a deep dish style pizza but being gluten free, I didn't think it would be easy to find. After doing some searching online for a gluten free deep dish pizza, I found a website for Chicago's Pizza and since the reviews looked good, I thought I would check it out. When we got there, the service was great right from the start and even though it took 40 minutes to cook the deep dish gluten free pizza, it was well worth the wait. One of the best gluten free pizzas I have ever had. I would go back to Chicago just for the pizza.

We originally went to a different branch but it was under refurbishment so they drove us to the next branch. The gluten free pizza was delicious and had fresh ingredients and the service was excellent, thank you very much!

Best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had and deep dish at that. Great service and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

My kids are in heaven when we go here! So many gluten free options! The deep dish is amazing! Service is great, its a fun place to just relax and enjoy the food!!

the best Chicago stuffed pizza!!

We got in quite late and our usual Chicago deep dish go-to had just closed, so we got from this place instead. I must say it was very nice and tasted just like a regular Chicago pizza, but was gluten free, which helped me both get to sleep and sleep well. There are better representatives of the "real" Chitown pizza out there, but this was the healthiest and most convenient and I won't fault it.

I was so excited to try the gluten free deep dish pizza was I was in Chicago. No one else serves this style gluten free. Unfortunately probably due to the limitations of the gluten free crust, the result was average at best. The crust was very hard even in the parts on the bottom which was slightly under cooked. There wasn't enough sauce and the flavor was bland. I've had better gluten free pizza from Pizza Hut. So if you are gluten free, I would have to recommend you give this one a pass.

We visited here on a recent trip to Chicago and i really wanted a pizza but being Coeliac this is normally a no go. But we found this place and it was amazing. The staff know all about gluten free / coeliacs disease and other allergens. Separate ovens are used with utensils etc. They make all their own dough and focaccia bread. We ordered the small deep dish (pizza pie) dont order bigger if there are only 2 of you, you wont need it. It really was the best pizza ever great base and great filling. It was that good we went back a day later for try a standard pizza. No issues with being ill either.

A google search for gluten free Chicago deep dish pizza led me to this highly rated restaurant. Found it it deserved the rating. My husband had his first deep dish pizza in years, and I had a hard time telling the difference it the two pizzas, except for the pineapple I added to mine. The gluten free was available in several sizes (we both ordered small pizzas) and there were several other gluten free menu items. If we lived in Chicago we would be regulars!

We sought this place out because of the extensive GF menu, and the option to try GF Chicago-style pizza. It was the best experience! The waitstaff was knowledgeable and quick, and the pizza was amazing! Great spicing, perfect cheese and sauce proportions, and flaky crust.

Because we got gift cards from Costco is why. The food is okay. But just okay. The service is always fine. I do like the wings, the pizza is so so.

Lou malnatis, giordano's, gino's east, etc.... Forget them.. all they've got is a name. Chicago's pizza has the pizza. Best the city. Period.

Chicago's is my favorite neighborhood pizzeria and they have absolutely fantastic lunch menues. Two can eat for under $15! They also have slices you can buy and they always seem more fresh than anyone else's. The waitstaff is always accomodating and friendly and even the delivery guys seem happy to be at work. I personally go to the Chicago's on Montrose once a week for either a quick slice or a fantastic meal delivered to our door. When you eat in the restaurant you also get foccacio with olive oil to help get your appetite going. I love this place!

This place never disappoints. They handle gluten-free wonderfully, starting with the bread to the table, then the deep dish is phenomenal, and their flan for dessert just tops off a wonderful experience. If there are only two of you, there is no need for anything bigger than a small, unless you want to take it home. I will drive a long ways out of my way to eat here (or any of the three locations I am aware of in Chicago). Amazingly good.

We got a large pizza with sausage and pepperoni and it was without a doubt my favorite Chicago deep dish yet. It was delivered and was still hot on arrival. Loaded with cheese and fresh sauce and meats--I wish I could have this everyday!

Still as good as ever. Great sauce, very flavorful. The stuffed pizzas have a good amount of fillings. Fresh ingredients. Good customer service.

Chicago's Pizza has the best Gluten free pizza and service. We came especially for the GF option and it did not disappoint! The service was amazing, the staff was helpful and super friendly! My 3 sisters and I had a great experience there, thank you!

Our party with special diets AND picky "regular" eaters all found yummy Italian food to eat. All staff were knowledgeable and helpful, and the food was great!

Let me just say...by far, this is the BEST gluten-free deep dish pizza I've ever had in my life! Toppings include artichokes, mushrooms & of course, Italian sausage. To top it all off, this place makes their own gluten free dough in-house! Not to mention, this place is rated one of the top five best gluten free pizza place in Chicago by TimeOutChicago...I am in pizza heaven!!! This place can make most of their dishes GLUTEN FREE 😍❤️😍

If you are gf in Chicago this is the place to go. I have celiac and can rarely even eat at restaurants because of the risk of cross contamination, the littlest trace of gluten will make me sick. This is my third time getting a pizza here and I haven't once had an issue. I feel safe eating here and it's AMAZING! I'll be returning every time I'm in town.

After a cubs game, this restaurant was like an oasis! Had the small stuffed pizza (6 slices, enough for 3 average adults, $22). Hubby ordered a Pony Pilsner (Half Acre brewing, $6.75). I stayed with the house chardonnay for $7. Family run, staff was very friendly. As we were leaving, the local boys little league team was coming in to celebrate a win.

My wife is has celiac’s and so this was a must visit for us. They have so many gluten free options for pizza and normal-flour based items. They make their own gf dough in house. We ordered a gf stuffed crust pizza and it had to weigh at least 6 pounds. We ate what we could at the restaurant and then took it back to our hotel room and did some more damage the next morning. My wife was so happy to be having deep dish pizza again!

My 6 year old was thrill to make his own pizza and the grownups enjoyed the delicious and fast deep dish pizza. Beautiful seating area but the kitchen has to be the coolest I've seen. Gorgeous high ceiling with beautiful glass arched ceiling along with mosaic tiles. Very surprised and highly recommend it. Staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming.

Incredible deep dish pizza, and a pretty amazing gluten free too. Service was excellent, very attentive. Definitely will be back.

Chicago’s Pizza was worth the four mile trip from our hotel. Small restaurant but not crowded on a Monday night. We went just so I could have the GF deep dish pizza that we couldn’t find anywhere else. I won’t say the crust was as yummy as regular crust but it was crisp and good. And given the deep dish, you couldn’t taste it was much as a regular pizza. The toppings were terrific. The service was very attentive and friendly. Very knowledgeable staff who know about gluten issues. They brought me GF focaccia bread without asking. The wine was good and really inexpensive compared to other Chicago restaurants. The rest of my family enjoyed their food as well - tortellini, ravioli, and calzone. Really glad we went!

WOW BEST GLUTEN FREE PIZZA I HAVE HAD. We made a special trip through Chicago in and were NOT disappointed.

My daughter’s have eaten Chicago’s Pizza in Lakeview previously and loved it! I was visiting and wanted to try their food. I am always searching for new places! Since they had tried their pizza, I wanted to try something different. I tried the calamari! It was so tender and flavorful! I could not stop eating it! It was accompanied with a homemade tomato sauce. Frankly, it was the best sauce I have ever eaten! I ordered their Chef’s Salad. It was equally delicious. It was fresh and filled with cheese, meats, eggs, red onions, Greek olives and more! It was a definite treat! Also ordered were the fried mushrooms and enormous chicken tenders. These both were tasty, fresh and tender. The service was friendly as well!

My cousin's wife visited Chicago earlier this month so she could run in the Chicago marathon and she insisted on having Chicago style deep dish pizza as a post-marathon treat. I'm normally not one to push deep dish pizza. It was invented for tourists. But given she's a tourist I took her to one spot I can tolerate, Chicago's on North Lincoln Avenue. They make a pretty decent pizza pie and also have a decent wine and beer selection. They were pretty busy the night that night, so the service was a bit lacking but it's a solid choice overall. I'd go back the next time I host a tourist insisting on Chicago style pizza.

While traveling we made a special trip to Chicago's Pizza because they offer gluten-free pizza! We were so pleased with out lunch. We had Deep Dish GF pizza that was delicious. They even gave us GF bread while we were waiting for the pizza. The staff was super friendly and attentive. So appreciate the extra effort they go to so those of us who need GF food can have a wonderful experience eating out! Thanks!!

Oh my god this gluten free pizza is WOW. Definitely a must hit if you can’t eat normal deep dish. They also have gluten free bread for burgers and calzones as well as gf pasta. I dragged my non gf friends here and they agreed the gluten free pizza was VERY good.

Couldn't decide between the GF pizza, deep dish, stuff crust, or calzone - all GF!!! Went with the calzone and it was fantastic!!! I wish I lived in Chicago so I could taste them all, but will definitely be back next time I visit.

Gluten-free options galore! A celiac’s dream restaurant— gf bread, pasta, pizza, calzones, cake, and more. Delicious food, great service, and fun atmosphere. Can’t wait to return!

Haven't had made from scratch gluten free pizza in ....um..never!! Was so good, can't wait to go back. Loved that when we walked in the host immediately asked if anyone in our party would be eating GF...so brought out some GF bread for me to snack on! I ordered the GF Deep Dish Pizza with sausage, onion, green pepper and mushrooms. SOOOO GOOD. The pizza was not inexpensive..but the small was 6 very generous slices for $20ish plus $2 for GF. Worth every penny. My non-gf son had regular pizza and said it was the best he'd ever had...and trust me, he's eaten A LOT of pizza! Easy to park on the steet too.

My wife has always wanted a true Chicago deep dish pizza, which is a tall order when she's celiac. But I had a conference in Chicago and brought her, and she had this place recommended. It was terrific. I had gluten free too, which is rare for me since gf crust usually reminds me of dry crackers. But I loved it. We got half and half, the gf deep dish medium Chicago special and...the other one, the difference being one has pepperoni and other stuff and the other has sausage and other stuff. Also ordered the potato vesuvio appetizer. The potatoes were perfectly cooked and covered in garlic and butter. The pizza was also perfectly cooked, nice and crispy rim on the crust and droopy cheese. Prices weren't bad. Standard for Chicago pizza in Chicago, and gf only added a couple of dollars more.

We ate at Chicago’s Pizza on Lincoln Ave this week- as I am GF and always looking for a good and also homemade GF crust. The pizza was excellent!!! Service was great and the restaurant and bathrooms were so clean! Great!

Yes! All you who can't have gluten can still go to Chicago and enjoy a deep dish pizza worth eating! The crust was the best gf pizza crust we have ever had.

Not only do I have food allergies to gluten but also to potato and egg. The majority of gluten-free products (understandably) substitute gluten with potato starch or egg to increase the hold of their dough. Consequently, I literally never get to eat pizza unless I make it myself, which usually ends up being disastrous. I have come across a few other restaurants that offer pizza "dough" that I can eat, but it's basically a cracker. Chicago's Pizza legitimately has THE BEST gluten-free pizza that I've ever had, and they did it without potato/eggs! It looks like pizza. It holds like pizza. It tastes like pizza. In addition, I called ahead to check ingredients and the staff understood my issue and read me the ingredient list. It was great to speak with understanding staffers that didn't make you feel like a psycho for calling to make sure their food wouldn't make you seriously ill. Since my initial visit, I literally try to get to Chicago as much as possible (I live 4 hrs away). I've even picked flights out of Chicago airport over other airports just so I could grab some pizza here on the way! LOVE IT! Hope they never change, but opening more locations would be an acceptable alteration ;)

We went because it's a famous spot and, of course, the Chicago Pizza. Lovely atmosphere but very commercially driven. Unfortunately the Chicago Pizza wasn't to my liking as it was just like a meat and cheese pie! Cost us just over $100 for two with just two pints of beer.

I dragged everyone in my party over here for the gluten free deep dish pizza. My son and I shared the stuffed deep dish. It was delicious! We ordered a medium and it was enough to feed us for two days. Loved it! The service was great also.
Best Pizza we have ever had!
Being gluten free, it's hard to find anything that resembles "real" pizza. The reviews that led us here are spot on! You cannot tell the difference when enjoying their gluten free stuffed pizza. It was amazing! My family members traveling with me, who do not have a gluten sensitivity, thought it was just as delicious. The wait staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant was clean and inviting, and the service exceptional. GO THERE!
