We had been wanting to check this place out so met family here on a Sunday around 12:30 pm. There is parking in rear, on side and in front areas and it was busy. It is easy to find right on UTSA Blvd. a short distance from IH10 towards Vance Jackson Rd. The place MUST LARGER than I expected with loads of seating options inside and outside. Some of the outside is covered and some is in open. One building has inside pickle ball courts and has places to stand with small bar rail to place food/drink but they also have some tables in this building. There are open outside pickle ball courts as well again with seating in the form of wooden picnic tables under a covered area. They have yard games like Jenga, Four Squares, Cornhole etc. that are in the open. There is a bar located outside too. The larger building is two story with the upstairs having mostly seating. The lower lever has lots of seating, a large full bar with stools and then another lounge seating type room with a ping pong table, foosball table and a shuffleboard table. You order in the larger building and the line was long when we arrived but moved fairly quickly. It would have moved faster if they had more than one or two cashiers taking orders. The menu is varied and is posted above the prep area counter. While waiting in line by the prep area, we noticed a half dozen or more flies on the plexiglass where some of the food was in open containers. YUCK! The staff seemed to ignore them and the flies seemed to not get on the food. It might be better if they had covers over the food items are find a way to control the flies. Several of us ordered the Pickled Grilled Chicken Sandwich ($12.99)and one ordered it with extra crispy bacon and tater tots. The others ordered fries. The bacon on all of these sandwiches were fatty, limp, even the one ordered extra crispy. So the bacon was a waste. It was a thick and hearty piece of chicken on the sandwich with pickle slaw as well. All agreed the fries were not that great but the tots were perfect. Two ordered the Chopped Burnt Ends Sandwiches ($13.50) and both thought it was more bun than meat but tasted okay. The Chorizo Fondue ($10) was really good but the chips were better than the Chicharrones things that came with it. Also ordered the Deviled Eggs ($7.50) and they were interesting but enjoyed. The soft drinks are self serve. Even though the place was hopping busy, there was plenty of room to sit and the noise level wasn't too bad either. They do have a wait staff that comes by to check on you if you need anything extra during your meal. Some of our group ordered the Triple Chocolate Cooke ($8.50) and it was served in a small skillet, warmed and with a large scoop of ice cream. It was VERY RICH but delicious. This is a really neat venue and we would have played some of the games but had called the night before to book a inside pickle ball court and they said they were booked until 9:00 the next night. Most of the games are charged by the hour for play. They do have a Happy Hour here as well. Will return and try it again but probably not on a weekend.

This place looks great. Lots of activities for all ages. We only ate appetizers which were quite good - fries pickles and quesadilla and beers. The service was excellent and there appeared to be plenty of staff on hand to assist.

My boss loves pickleball and dragged me here. Glad he did I had so much fun. Played for the first time and really liked it. Something for everyone. Shuffleboard, cornhole, kids yard games, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Multiple bars and decent food. Fresh chicken menu items and other things like salads and ribs. Can't really go wrong here

So this was my first time to this restaurant/pickle ball establishment. Its a unique concept for sure. The chicken was tasty for sure.

This place is great! Visited with my family for lunch on a Saturday. Tried to play pickle ball but all the courts were reserved until 11pm. Book in advance! Food and service was good. My kids enjoys playing bocce ball and battleship but really wanted to play pickle ball.

A family reunion planned at an unusual destination Chicken and Pickle! Not my personal choice but “Hey, Go along to get along…” Talk about pleasantly surprised! We were greeted by Raul who acted life our arrive at their private dining area had made his day! He made sure we were comfortable with the surroundings and began to cater to our every need. He checked every food and drink order for satisfaction and accuracy. Then was minutes away for additions and suggestions. He knew every drink and food item on the menu and wanted our desires to be realized. Had a fun and tasty experience and Raul was the catalyst for both! Go and eat and play, but make sure that Raul is your waiter!

we had a business meeting here and were very impressed, so much so that we will go visit the one in Oklahoma City. We did not order any food, as I was presenting and probably would not have been the best idea. We watched others and they loved their food. Can't wait to go back to one and try more things.

Games both inside and out. Pickle ball courts for rent. For was decent although a little $$. I would go again. Recommend the chicken fajita quesadilla.
Sweet Spot!!!
Awesome! At San Antonio location while on holiday Christmas/NYE vacation from Alaska. After pulling my daughter out of junior camp that she was beyond we played ‘Meet Friends Monday’ and had fun, then great food and atmosphere. Returned the next day to reserve court. Then asked my daughters would be coaches, Josh & Ryan to play with us, they did and it was great. Whole place had some of the most attentive and friendly staff I’ve ever seen. Food was was fresh, good, and decent price. One of my favorite experiences visiting TX. Will certainly check out more locations. Thank you so much, keep it up!
