We had a group of approx 26. They packed us into a room with buffet set up that would be appropriate for 12 people. We had to walk over each other and the food quality / price not worth it! Beer was cool; not cold!!!!

I went here with my family after a Flyers game. It is also a great place to watch a game. We bee lined it from the game and got seated immediately. They have plenty of beers on draft. I had a Blue Moon. The waitress was friendly and the service was good even with the rush. Their menu focuses on making a few items well. I recommend ordering a few items and sharing. We had the crab fries with cheese sauce for dipping. The hot garlic shrimp is good and love the sauce. You can mop it up with the bits of garlic with a nice piece of crusty bread. We also enjoyed their mussels in red sauce. We also split a yummy roast pork with sharp provolone and broccoli rabe. The price are reasonable and the atmosphere is great.

We were visiting Philadelphia for one night and discovered this place. Absolutely loved it! Sports bar and full menu restaurant, with fantastic atmosphere. Wish they would open a location in central Florida - East coast!

Good food but they charged $2.75 for soda refills slow service when place was almost empty. $2.75 For first soda and $2.75 For each refill???

Stopped here on my way to Dublin. Terrific philly.cheesesteak. the bartender was super friendly, food was hot and fast. Def recomend!

Sat at the bar with my husband at 7am. Ordered coffee, a Coke and chicken cheese steak. Nicolas R. Rolled her eyes and told us we would have to wait she doesn't have coffee at the bar. Got my coke half full. The rest of our stay was less than nice when we had to interact with her. She did pause to complain to another employee about other staff members. Think it time for a new job Nicole! Sorry you are so unhappy.

We stopped in here before the Phillies game last week and we were pleasantly surprised. Bartenders were attentive and chatty- beer was cold and cheap and the Crab Fries were killer! We also had a cheesesteak- but I would go back for those fries! They also offer a shuttle to and from the game and the driver was very helpful and came to pick us up directly after the game. Totally recommend this to anyone visiting for a game!

Our meals were great and the service was fantastic. We left that restaurant both full and satisfied. My teenagers especially enjoyed the fries!

Good food, great atmosphere. Love everything about this restaurant. Some of the best seafood in the area.

I visit here pretty often. The food is generally average other than the crab fried which are some of the best fries i've ever had.

The food is pretty good, but the prices are kind of ridiculous. Most of the entrees are averaged sized and do not come with a side. You can pay anywhere from $10-$17 for just an entree. Crab fries are great but they are going to add on another $8 for a side that could barely be shared by 2 people.

Would somebody please explain the allure of this place? Six frozen chicken nuggets with a pound of over-salted frozen bay-seasoned French fries for $42. It's just such ordinary garbage, hard to understand how one location stays open. Would never return.

The crab fries are legendary. Been a must visit spot on every visit home. My favorite is the lobster roll and the chicken cutlet sandwich. A Philly favorite

We stopped in Chickie & Petes for some food before heading to the Flyers game. The place was packed so it took a little bit to get settled in. The food comes out when ready so you may get yours before others in your party. Not a huge deal but when the appetizer comes out after your main meal, well that is just stupid. The crab fires were good and so was my meatball parm. The waitress was ok but seemed frazzled a little bit. We forgot our masks while entering and were told to put one on by the host stand by a manager, well their employees only wore it on their chin so I did the same and he just looked at me. I am 100% vaccinated and if you want to set an example, you should follow your own "rules". I probably wouldnt return here. Nothing made me want to go back.

This is such a fun place to go to watch the game. We decided to sit at the bar and we were glad we did because there were a couple of Eagles players doing a live radio show discussing the game with the Dallas Cowboys the day before, we loved that. I ordered the baby lobster tails, my husband got the pulled pork sandwich and we shared the crabby fries. While the food was good, the Chardonnay that I ordered was not good at all. The menus were filthy also but overall we would hands down recommend this place.

Visited Chickie and Pete’s on the way to a baseball game. Our waitress , i believe her name is Carly, is slow and rude. We sat to the left on your way in, 2 tables behind the first big booth, at approximately 6pm. I asked her for a water and she turned to the next table and took their drink orders. I assumed she would come back with the water in addition to their drinks but she did not. I had to ask again. I ordered a cheeseburger and my husband ordered a cheesesteak. My burger was brought out alone , and it was another HALF HOUR till the cheesesteak was brought out. The table next to us sat down 20 mins after us and received their food faster . Extra advice for the bartender- lemonade and vodkas receive a lemon with them and should have more than 3 cubes of ice.

We were delayed in PHL and ended up having a couple of drinks at Chickie's & Pete's. They were quite busy, but we were able to be seated fairly quickly. After enjoying a few beers, we decided to settle up and head to our gate. We were unhappily surprised to find a surcharge that wasn't shared upfront before ordering. The attached picture shows what is said on the bottom of the receipt. So it's a Employee Wage and Benefits Fee, yet it is not a gratuity payable to employees. It should really say Employer as they are the only ones getting any money. Again, the worse part was that fact that it was hidden/unidentified before we were served. I would have NEVER set foot in the place if I had known this before hand. We have walked out of places before that tried to bull that on the public. The only difference, is that those places disclosed this prior to being seated (via signs, etc). Chickie's & Pete's never once shared this info. There are too many other places to go that don't trick their customers into paying more. Pathetic and a horrible business practice. Avoid if possible, or at least be aware of this before you blindly enjoy food or drinks.

I went as part of a 25+ group of people, without a reservation. Our server did a fantastic job of keeping on top of our orders, and keeping us lubricated with the $2 Yingling local beers. Food was to be expected from a sports bar, but the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Lobster was excellent, along with the special fries. All the usual deep fried stuff, but really good for a beer social night out with international partners! That the server did exceptionally well was the icing on the cake, and helped the entire party have an ex Solent evening out. Highly recommend .... especially on cheap beer nights!!

My friend and I randomly ended up in philly and we're looking for a spot to eat at. We asked around and got the same response! Their crab legs were so good. Definitely going back to them the next time I'm in town.

Chicken planks And crabby fries And awesome chicken parm sandwich for my mom And a killer burger topped with one of best crab cakes I've ever had Will be coming back again and again for this sandwich

Fun sports bar with great seafood and fries. The crabby fries are a must. The mussels and lobster rolls are really good, and the pizza hits the mark as well.

I sought out the Chickie's and Pete's during our brief layover at the Philly airport, specifically for the crab fries (which I'd never had before). While the fries were good (with the seasoning and cheese sauce), my issue is that it wasn't at all what I was expecting. I thought the fries would at least have some crab in them. So from that standpoint I was disappointed. But that's simply because I was misinformed. As long as you know they're potato fries that have special seasoning on them (like Old Bay seasoning) and are served with a cheese sauce, you'll probably get exactly what you're hoping for. Of note, the price seemed a bit expensive (of course you are paying airport prices), but you get a LOT of fries for that price - definitely a sharing portion.

Slow slow slow and unorganized. You'll probably spend your vacation waiting for your food and overpay for basic stuff

This is your quintessential sports bar. Good burgers, fries, onion rings... etc. I had the pulled pork and some onion rings. The pulled pork sandwich was excellent! The onion rings were super crispy. My colleague had a burger and said it also was very good. They have a very good selection of bottled beers and beers on tap. They had plenty of seating and lots of TV from any angle. The wait staff were friendly and prompt. This is a fail-safe choice to go eat.

I came to philly for the first time. Just stopped by the airport was looking for a good bar to hang out at. This is basically the only bar in the airport even when you walk to different terminals same place in each one.... So I was having a good time had a few old fashions service was good. I ask the bar tender what he recommended for a snack of course he recommended there WORLD FAMOUS CRAB FRYS! So i got them.......................... Terrible. I have a question for everyone. When you get chills frys what comes on them? Chili correct. When you get cheese frys what comes con them? Cheese wow we are on to something two days ago a got steak frys and what do you know they had steak on them. I ordered these world famous crab frys and they are just damn frys with

Enjoyed the atmosphere and food at this place. Seafood and sandwiches with plenty of pub food. Their "crab fries" are very good.

One of the top sports bars I’ve ever been to. Close to the sporting venues in Philadelphia. Good food. Wings were the best I’ve had in awhile. Got pretty crowded before the Eagles Packers game but I can see why. Lots of fun and drink.

Fun atmosphere here during games. The go to snack are crab fries with out a doubt. Crabs are great too. I like to hang out with friends here.

This is a favorite stop when we are in the area, whether for a sporting event, concert or flight from PHL. Our visit today was no exception. This is a great sports bar with lots of TVs, good bar food, including an emphasis on seafood. There is a great selection of raw bar items as well as cooked fish and seafood, lobster rolls, etc. They also have standard appetizers, salads, burgers, pizza, soups, sandwiches, etc. But the highlight for us are the crab fries...french fries seasoned with old bay and served with sides of melted cheese. Yum!! The beer selection is very good, domestic, imports and lots of craft beers. Wine selection is ok but that's not why people come here. I had a salad today which was delicious, but if I had to criticize at all, it would be that while there was a fabulous mix of greens, it wasTOO big. I could not mix in the dressing without tossing it out of the bowl, and there's no way someone could eat this many greens in one sitting. I think because it is mid-week, bad weather and pretty empty, they had too much to use while they were still fresh! In any event, a minor complaint. One other criticism: my husband and I both ordered beer...his arrived fully 3/4 inch shorter pour than mine. And his food order came our 4 or 5 minutes before mine. Again, not the end of the world, but the place wasn't busy and there were only 2 of us; it was weird.

This is a good place to go to watch a game and grab something to eat. Some of the food is good, some so-so. Service was good, but food came out whenever it came out, not in any particular order.

What a great place for those who enjoy sports, food and great beverages. The crabby are great! Definitely, make it s stop either before or after watching your favorite game live or catch the game on one of their screens. You will not regret stopping in!

I'm not the biggest lover of Old Bay on French fries as I think they are way to salty, however if you are you will love these. We also had the shrimp & my husband enjoys the crabs. Very hot spot in the City, I'm sure it's a tourist spot. Not for me as I live here..lol. But worth checking out, you will enjoy the food.

True Phily cuisine. Great spiced fries and great chicken cheese steak!! Big big portion! Better than most airport restaurant s. Make sure you get your taste of Philly when passing thru

My wife and I stopped in for a meal before attending a U2 concert. The food and staff were amazing. I recommend the swiss mushroom burger and crab fries. You cannot go wrong with crab fries! If you're in South Philly Chickie's & Pete is a great place to eat. Definitely stop in!

So Chickies comes out with a well overdue new menu. Was very excited, but the food left a lot to be desired, so the excitement turned to disappointment. Service also disappointing this night. It was great seeing a new menu and new items. Something new was the seafood sauté. It is a spin on their Sicilian muscles. Instead of a bowl of mussels in red sauce they add - according to the picture and description a small lobster tail, shrimp and claims for an additional $11.00. Come on C&P, you're getting like Mickey D's with the false adverts. See pics below for more detail, but it was 95% mussels and one tiny thing I guess you would call a baby lobster. Maybe a fetus? Certainly not the size of the picture. It also included 4 clams, and 3 of what the texture felt like was canned shrimp. Small and tough and again not what the pic showed. Watch out for the bread. I mean really. You are in South Philly and you use a sloppy doughy roll. Sarcones is right up the road. Charge me an extra 50 cents for a decent roll - seeded in fact. The service wasn't that great tonight. The usual bartenders were not there and they two people behind the bar just couldn't pour a good cocktail. Of course, you always have the grumpy old guy at the back bar who is always so happy to see you. NOT! Enjoyable sports bar in south Philia but need to get it together on the food. I just don't understand why people pay for sub-par food without complaining. Speak up.

These guys know how to cook! From the clamchowder chockful of clams to the lobster roll and the fries and all the other dishes we had. Each and everyone came out hot and delicious. The service as exceptional. This is the place to go to if you're close to Section C - Gate 29. Wish we had this close to home. Fantastic!!!

The staff and the atmosphere make this a prime pregaming venue! Everything here was outstanding! The food & drink, the crowd, the game bus, everything! Great times!

Great Philly vibe for sports. Seafood, crab fries and pizza are all good choices. No kids menu but not always a family setting depending on time of your visit, can be very loud and crowded. Service is fast and good!

Be sure to ask details before you order. I was very disappointed at the crabfries...it had no crab meat! The shrimp and philly cheese were nasty. I will avoid this restaurant at all cost.

Went to C&P for dinner and sat at the bar. Good atmosphere and good seafood. The pizza is also good and a great deal at happy hour. The bar is well stocked and the layout is nice for viewing the tvs. It is a good spot to pop in for a drink as there is a good mixed crowd there even on a Monday. Try the crab fries.

Referred by a friend and glad we tried it. Went to grab a bite to eat and a drink before the game since it was pouring outside. We went to the back bar area which had a few seats left. Service was quick and friendly. They are used to this type of packed crowd and it showed. Many staff on hand to handle the volume. The best part is the shuttle that runs a continuous loop to the stadium or venue. That was awesome! Apparently this shuttle runs for every event at the stadiums and starts hours prior to the game and ends long after the game has ended. Will do this again! Very convenient. You can't leave your car in the lot and go your event. Try parking on the street or take public transportation.

2.5 Ok the beer was cold The crab was great The shrimp were great But the service was abysmal So it took 10 minutes for waitress to come to table with an apology for not knowing we were there. She was high as a kite on speed or something. Talking so fast ...jittery...disappeared food delivered...finally checked in we ordered more drinks...she disappeared...finally flagged a busboy who found her shamming with hostess...watched her bolt to kitchen and 5 min later came out with drinks with more apologies. Disappeared again to hostess station. Finally slowed her running past our table to get check...I also asked for water. Disappeared again...got check....more waiting...no water....paid ....still gave her 15%... went to bar got water...and and we drove spotted her outside of restaurant on phone....and suddenly ran inside...hilarious...final comments...its as good as it gets these days. 20% will no longer be my standard for bad service. Oh and by the way ...do you think chicken and Pete could spare a hunk of bread with a $50 Dungeness crab...or a freaking piece of corn...what a ripoff of service what a crappy management team.....all those ads on WIP had me excited to go...next time I'll go to a real restaurant...this was the Drexel Hill location on Sat March 16

Good food, nice waiter and waitress yummy food . large portions most of the time . Allways crowded. Great place for fun , sports and drinks.

Every time we come up to Philly we make it a point to stop in never disappointed. Wish there was one in Delaware for us to enjoy at the beach.

Stopped in at one of our favorite South Philly reliable places that you know can handle a large crowd, with decent food, and good drink choices, in a fun environment. HOWEVER! I am sure everyone was busy because of Broad Street run thousands coming into the city. But there was no wait! Once seated, quickly entered drink and appetizer order. Then downhill from here. The Crab fries came out first. No napkins, or drinks yet. The beer I ordered was kicked, and that happens and I understand, but my partner got her beer. I ordered another and it came out 15 minutes later. Wish I had some beer to go with those Fries. Strange that the menu said I was supposed to get a 14oz pour, yet only got a 8oz. Food ordered. My sandwich came out first, partner had ordered a salad, question why just bring out one meal? Am I supposed to eat it while she waits? Then salad comes out 15 minutes later. And it was basically a bag of lettuce put into a bowl. My sandwich was excellent, but cold - you know why. The salad was a huge bowl of lettuce, not much else, the toppings were all at the bottom of the bowl, minimal “toppings”. Explained the beer oz question to the waitress. She came back 10 minutes later with a full 14oz, no charge. But the whole experience was less than pleasurable. Just funny how one visit can sour someone on a place!

Apart from fast food, there is not a lot of choice at the Philadelphia Airport, so we almost always choose Chickie and Pete's when we are passing through. They have a few good beers on tap (Victory!) and they serve perfectly respectable bar food, like cheese steaks, wings, burgers, fried shrimp, etc. The crab fries are pretty good, albeit not remarkably creative as they are still just fries and old bay seasoning. But given the lack of serious competition, this place wins the airport vote.

Decided to take in this restaurant prior to attending a Phillies game. So glad we did. Had a blast. Great atmosphere.

We were there for dinner before the egles cowboys game starting about 10 minutes before the game time they broke into the eagles fight song and it continued until the game began. How much fun is that? Tons of crazy fans and lots of positive I had the crab nachos, coming from Texas I wasn't sure what to expect, but they were yummy eat them fast before they get soggy. Friends ordered a pizza which was delicious, and the hot shrimp. For lots of fun I'm pretty good food on game night you can't go wrong

We went for lunch on a Friday. The crowd had a lot of guys and plenty of work groups but lots of open seats to grab. We sat at the bar and were warmly greeted by our bartender. I grabbed the Miller Lite special and my trusty partner enjoyed a Boulevard Tank 7 (yum), both on draft. We had to get the highly recommended crab fries with white cheese sauce (on the side). They came out hot and great - splashed with C&P's spices and great with the warm cheese dip. We add the dozen chilled peel and eat jumbo shrimp (very fresh) and the 3 petite lobster tails entree. The lobster tails were A+ and so unexpectedly delicious - warmed and basted in butter the tails were tender and flavorful, not chewy and bland like many places have. We washed the remainder of food down with another order of (draft) Corona lights. A great Friday meal.

Due to being in Philly for a concert, we wanted to try Chickie’s and Pete’s before the show. The place was busy, but we were lucky to find two seats at the bar. The bartender took our order promptly, but it took awhile for our food to be served, and even though we were told the burger would take longer, my husband got his burger five minutes before my cheesesteak was served. They need to do a better job at getting the entire order done at once. The food was good, but sandwiches are not served with chips or fries. Fries are a separate order. FYI, they are known for their crabby fries. They don’t have a large menu, but there’s something on there for everyone (appetizers, pizza, burgers, seafood, cheesesteaks and fries). It’s only a few blocks from the stadiums, which made it convenient to try. We would return, but not while under a time crunch.

In 30 years of international business travel I don't think I've ever experienced a worse breakfast. Guess this isn't their sweet spot. Save your time and money. Hopefully other options will come along soon.

We rented a few Play2 cubes for my sons birthday party at Chickie and Pete's. It was our first time doing this and we werent sure what to expect. Our hostess took care of everything, she was very personable and efficient, she kept the pitchers full, the plates fresh and enough napkins etc for a party of boys. Pizzas and baskets of crab fries were included in the package price along with cotton candy and tip included. The food was hot and delicious and of course the boys devoured it all. Side note, she warned me before we sang happy birthday that if they got any icing from the cupcakes on the rugs there would be a $25 cleaning fee for each time they had to clean, so we opted to have them eat their cupcakes as we left. We reserved a few tables near the play2 booth for parents/family upon request since we didn't know how many parents would be staying. It wasn't too expensive over all considering we didn't have to host a party at our house and there was no cleanup etc etc. Will definitely be coming back, the kids had a great time playing all the different video games and systems, while hanging out with their buddies.

Fries are great but they are really just old bay fries with cheese. The sandwiches could use some more meat on them though.

I never thought I would write a review such as this but it's due. My meal two weeks ago sucked! There is too much sodium in the food, the mussels had no flavor and some looked to be off, the lobster tails are smaller than they use to be, you only get two instead of three for the same price, chicken cooked to quick so the outside was done but the inside was under cooked, and the noise level is too high. They have an outdoor seating area but not enough staff to cover that area so you're forced to eat inside. They will always have the South Philly crowd there to keep them going as they spend more time at the bar instead of eating, but for me I'll go to the Northeast or Delaware County from now on.

We were in the area after the home show have always enjoyed coming here. Love the crab fries...and sweet potato fries. Everything was going well..... waited forever to get our burgers.

Visited Chickie's & Pete's again before a game at Wells Fargo Center. This time we had reservations. Lots of TVs with sports on. Food was pretty good. Service was decent. Better experience than visit in 2016.

Haven't been here in a couple of years, I was in the area and stopped to eat. Better than I remembered. Cheese steak with a order of crab fries absolutely a great combination. Great food, great staff and great service, you can't beat it. There are so many items I want to try it will be a regular stop when I am back in Philadelphia

I ate here on a business trip awhile back and there was a special for all-you-can-eat snow crab legs for ~$20. Not only was the service fantastic but these were the best crab legs I'd ever had. Been craving it ever since! It's still pub food and it's really good pub food which is why I gave it a high rating. It's not where I would go if I was looking for fine dining or a quiet place to have a date or something similar. For what it's intended to be, it's great.

So I ordered these supposedly crab fries. I spit them out and screamed water. These things have no crab meat(which is implied). It is just crinkle fries drowned in Old Bay seasoning, which means they were SALTY AF. i was pissed and demanded a refund. I never been so upset when ordering. Of course the waitress was some dumb young girl and tried arguing with me that they are crab fries. I'm like little girl, if they say Crab Fries I'm looking for Crabs. If someone has high blood pressure, they better not eat these.

If you like super salty/ greasy unhealthy food, this is your place, we got The crab nachos, very little crab and cover with Cajun condiment to the point that they were not eatable. Totally overrated!

My husband stopped in for dinner I had Lobster Roll & Crab Fries my husband had Crabs, The Crab Fries were delicious, the Lobster Roll was packed with Lobster meat but could have had more flavor, the Crabs were fair The beer was good, Erin was a very attentive waitress, will probably return!

My son had a birthday party at play2 . Very cool family fun kids play 3 different game types Xbox play station and one more. Food was amazing as always. Atmosphere is pleasant

Great sports bar and we appreciated they were open late as we flew in past 11:00 pm. However the food was typical bar food, but really bland as well. Service was good though and it was busy at midnight so not a bad place, just don't expect a lot of flavor.

We've always liked it here. We came after The Weeknd concert on a Saturday night around midnight. It could be cleaner. The service was pretty good. The hostesses could be friendlier. It wouldn't hurt them to crack a smile. I love that they have a sink outside of the bathroom if you just want to wash your hands and you don't want to go all the way into the bathroom...very convenient. They have Pepsi products. Two thumbs down for that. Their crab fries are so amazing. They were fresh. They were hot. They were delicious. They are SO. MUCH. BETTER. here than when you get them at random locations like in the ballpark, on the boardwalk, etc. Those never compare to the real deal! I'm docking a star because they took my favorite salad off of the menu and didn't replace it with anything comparable. It was their signature salad. Seems like such a strange thing to take off of the menu. I was very disappointed. My man asked for well done wings which he got but they were more so charred. I could smell it when they got delivered to the table and I didn't even eat any! Their Buffalo chicken cheesesteak was pretty good. We split it. It's an average size. The bun was kind of falling apart. They use chopped chicken which I like, I hate when it's cubed. Their blue cheese isn't the best. Plenty of parking. Good location...close to the sports arenas and all of the highways. I believe they have free shuttle buses. They have lots of tvs, a huge bar with tons of alcohol bottles everywhere, it's not too, too loud, at least it wasn't when we were there. The music playing was great. There was still a decent crowd when we were there at midnight. They serve food until one am. They are available on open table which I appreciated until it said they couldn't communicate with the restaurant and I had to try later. This keeps happening. I'm not sure if it's an OT thing or a thing with the restaurant but it's annoying. In any event, we would come back. We like this location better than the havertown location.

Great place to eat and watch sports. Stop by for lunch or dinner but be sure to order the crab fries for an appetizer. Their seafood selection is great.

Good place. Typical big American sports bar. Lots of televisions with plenty of drink options. Good place for you and friends to go and watch the game. We all had the Philly cheesesteak sandwhich, which was good. Staff were friendly and prices were reasonable.

I have been coming to Chickies for 20 years, as I have grown up in Northeast Philadelphia my entire life. I have had Immediate family members & friends work for Chickies and Pete's for years, and overall usually have a great experience. In the last two weeks I have eaten here three times! That’s how much we love it! While dinning in here last week, (Wednesday) I became aware that they were running a Super Bowl special “all you can eat” for $40 Starting at 6 PM on Super Bowl Sunday. I asked our waitress, if they were taking reservations. She checked with the hostess stand, and informed me that they were NOT taking reservations but you can call ahead for larger parties on that same day. Since we planned to have a large party Attend and celebrate with us at chickie and Pete’s on superbowl Sunday, I called around 3pm to inquire if they would do call ahead seating. The hostess, was very rude off the bat. She chuckled at my question, And said that “they were absolutely not taking any reservations. Why would they? It’s Super Bowl Sunday!” She stated. I simply told her that I was not looking for a reservation but was told by my waitress just a few days ago that if we were having a large party that we could call ahead so they would be prepared for such a large group. She then said “I don’t know what to tell you!” So then I asked to speak with her a manager after a few minutes of her laughing under her breathe & rude responses. The manager got on the phone, and he explained that they were not taking reservations or call ahead’s. He apologized for the miscommunication, And stated that we should get there at least by 5 o’clock So we had enough time to be seated. I told him that we would be a party of eight, and that I would be there. I arrived to chickies and Pete’s at 5 pm. The restaurant was pretty much dead. I was surprised because on a normal night, it is hard to find parking. But on Super Bowl Sunday I was able to get a front row parking spot. I was shocked! We walked into chickies and Pete’s, And I went up to the hostess stand. They asked if they could help me, and I told them that we had a party of eight. The older lady, Cut me off instantly midsentence and said “we will NOT seat you unless your “entire” party is here.” I had 6/8 people present, and she still refused to sit us. It is 5 PM, the Super Bowl special did not even start until 6 PM & 80% of the tables were open and no one waiting to be seated. I was shocked. Number one, I am already upset at the fact of how I was treated earlier on the phone. I spoke with the manager and I was advised to come *well in advance* to guarantee a table for the Super Bowl. I never once was told that my “entire party” needed to be there in order to be seated. If they would’ve just sat us (one hour prior to the Super Bowl special), they probably would’ve profited from my party with drinks and appetizers before the “all you can eat special.” So right there they missed A Profitable opportunity. At this point I am just aggravated and told the hostess to change my party to a party of 6. Like I’ve said I’ve eaten here 100s of times before and we could always make room, to sit two more if need be. Again! She copped an attitude with me and said “why are you asking to change to a party of six when I thought you had eight people…” And I told her because you guys have rules that are not displayed anywhere, my party of *six* is here in the flesh and I was not going to stand waiting another hour Until two other people in my party showed up, When I was told by management to get There well in advance in order to guarantee a table. I also told her that I was not going to wait any longer when there was nobody waiting and 100 tables open. She told me that “the table that she was going to seat me at would not fit more than 6 people” knowingly I was going to have two additional guest. She puts us in the back of the restaurant, in a corner against the wall to a circle table. The table is originally set it for FIVE people ONLY, and they were going to bring over an extra chair! The entire dining room was empty. I turned to the hostess and told her I wanted to speak with the manager. I felt personally discriminated against. They have tables that fit a party of eight comfortably, they have tables that fit a party of six comfortably, And they were knowingly aware of my party size and still Purposely wanted to cram us in a five seater table. The manager came over and introduced himself, and move our party to a larger table that would comfortably fit 6 to 8 people. I just don’t understand why This couldn’t be done from the very beginning, given the fact that the entire restaurant was not busy!!!!! They had more to go orders going out and they had people coming in. There were maybe 8 parties of 2-4 people occupying an entire restaurant that holds hundreds of people. To be honest I’ve never seen this restaurant as dead, Especially on a Super Bowl Sunday. If it was super packed I totally would understand how miscommunication could happen, But this wasn’t the case by any means. We finally sit at our table, my nerves are shot, my hands are shaking, and I am left with an uneasy bullied feeling. Our waitress was not the best. The other hostesses must’ve been chatting with her, because she made it known that she knew we “those people” but we didn’t blame her. She made some mistakes with orders, said some rude comments she thought were funny I guess, and A few eye rolls, she didn’t think we saw. She even asked “Are you even from around here?” My party consisted of seven adults and one child (7 years old) Seven adults ordered the Super Bowl special, along with additional items that were not part of the package price such as shrimp, 3 baskets if doughnuts, and ice cream cake, 6 coffees and alcoholic drinks. The seven year old ate 1 chicken tender and 1 slice of pizza. When it came time for the bill, we noticed that they charged my seven-year-old son for the “all you can eat” $40 same price as an adult. At this point I had no energy to argue with them, We paid our almost $500 bill, plus a nice generous tip. Long story short, chickies and Pete’s have lost my business for good. My family and I will not be returning sadly. 20 years of coming here, has come to an end. Disappointment isn’t even the word that I’m looking for.

Great place to go before a game (shuttle offered). Amazing selection of draft beer, served super cold and get the crab fries. Old Bay seasoned fries with cheese sauce that is awesome!

Crab Fries! Do I have to say more!? You must try their famous fries. They come seasoned with Old Bay and a side of their cheese sauce. I will keep coming back just for the fries. The atmosphere is just amazing especially if you're a Philadelphia sports fan. When their is a home game for any of the teams, this place usually gets really crowded so you may want to plan accordingly. There is not a bad seat in this place and you will be able to see a television from anywhere you sit.

Fast service And great food!! Food comes out extremely fast and also fast bar service! Family friendly also

My husband and I stopped for a drink and some crab fries on our way to Atlantic City. JT and Nick were super friendly and a lot of fun! They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with everything. We aren’t local but would go back in a heartbeat to just hang out at the bar with them.

fun atmosphere, was there for a hockey game in april. food was very good and came out quick! good beers would go there again..

BE AWARE, DRINK SCAM!! The place is a rip off. Please check the menu, do not go for the 16 ounce beer as you can fill up the glass to the very top with the 12 ounce bottle. Deceiving advertising at the least, they know they are stealing from customers as the manager stated that they can't reimburse the people the 4 ounces of beer stolen on every single glass. Just do the test, ask for a 12 ounce bottled beer and ask for the glass, you will thank latter. This is not about 4 ounces of beer or 2 dollars between the bottle or the glass, the hotel offered me 50 bucks for the rip off and I didn't accept it, this is about the principle and how this people steal from you and everyone else. Picture shows a glass filled up with water previously poured into the bottle, me manager kept on saying the glass was a 16 ounce, lol. The staff is nice, the manager...I feel sad for the guy, he couldn't even show his face to be proven wrong, he sent the nice lady assistant manager to deal with his shame.

Actually went to the booth at Spruce Street Park, but this was the closest one in Tripadvisor. We got chicken tenders and a cheesesteak sandwich. Best tenders we ever had, and our daughter loved the sandwich.

We came into the city for the weekend with friends for a game. One of our friends made a great suggestion for here. We were planning on eating but never left the bar. Great service and appetizers. Crab Nachos were the best Nachos we ever ate!!

Was told as soon as we were seated, there may not be enough crabs to serve us. After speaking to the Manager they did say they would accommodate as best as they could. Waitress was not attentive, acted like she was too busy to serve or accommodate. Poor service !

Went with the family for dinner after a Phillies game. Staff and Service were decent. Food was really good. The beer was flat and warm...couldn't even drink it. Atmosphere was cool.

With it's dozen plus widescreen flat screens and buzzers telling you when the table is ready, the place feels kind of industrial and by the numbers. The menu covers all the standards with something of a Philadelphia flair (i.e., there's a lot of cheesesteak). The cavernous property with a few dozen tables and several bars is loud and public. Draft beer selections are fittingly extensive combining some local craft with all the regular mass-produced and craft offerings Also continuing with the these, food comes across as heavy and ample. In short, kind of touristy but if you like corporate bar and grills, you'll enjoy the place..

This place is the best it has everything and anything you can think of it was voted the 1# sports bar in the USA need I say more ?

I dined here with a party of five and we were all please with our meals and the service. I ordered crab fries for the table and we all couldn’t stop saying how yummy they were, the cheese dip that accompanied the fries was fantastic. The burgers and sandwiches were enjoyed by all, but man I would go back for the fries!

This is a great place for a casual night out. Our favorites are the chilled shrimp, the philly cheese steak and the cobb salad topped with grilled salmon. We went the for dinner and sat at the bar. We were served by Dennis who was phenomenal! The food, drinks and service were all amazing! We will be back!

We stopped at C & P's at Xfinity Live in Philadelphia. We only tried the fries, but they were awesome. They are served with a cheese sauce which puts them over the top. I'm not even a huge Old Bay fan, but it's great on the fries. Definitely worth a try.

We stopped here before the game in November. Great service, very good food. I would go again... It is obviously set up for large crowds, which is good.

Just had to try the lobster roll, and a new one...... The crab nachos. Both were very good. This place is very loud with lots of energy. 45 minute wait on a Friday night.

Great Service. We had a room reserved with a buffet set for our group and the food was hot and appetizing. Our servers were quick and courteous. Overall great experience.

Clean and busy. Overall good food and friendly service. Lots of beers on tap. Not cheap but not expensive.

Went to restaurant while my family went to Chick Fila. I started to place my order…they inquired on the remainder of my group. I explained to them that my family was getting Chick Fila. But they would bring their food to eat with me… they gave me looks as if I was lying. Like I don’t have a need to lie. They wanted me to move to the bar. I’m like my kid is 9. Do you want a 9yo at the bar Not going back

We're from Holland visiting family and this is our first stop in Philly.. we had the nachos with crab meat and shrimps and lobster tails.. it was delicious!! Before we return we're definitely going back!

Had the mussels in white sauce and a lobster cheese steak. Shared with the wife. And crab fries were a must. Service was good. Love this place. Always some live Philly sports event going on. Very cool.

Touring Philadelphia we wanted to stop by the waterfront and we found this place as a option expected more variety be aware there are minimal choices on the menu and very rude staff, there was no ketchup and they said there was none and that was that! Until one male gentleman came on shift and he said I will get it, the ladies were extremely rude to all customers. The bartender had attitude issues too. The place is great when with small children and your only option if you are coming to skate or miniature golf. Cute area, nice views of Benjamin Franklin bridge. Area and atmosphere are great , food was good not excellent but good enough. According to my 7 year old she ranks it as 7 out of 10 , because it's good but she felt food is a little messy since it's definitely like a beach area feel. It's not a restaurant it's more like a good stand with AC and beach tables and seating.

Spiced up fries and creamy melted cheese. After a long walk around Philly’s Old District we ended up at Chikies & Pete’s.

We did the combo fries with regular and sweet potato. They are both amazing!!! Food was all good. We had Philly cheesesteak, wings and lobster roll. Food came out quick. Service was good.

My husband and I stopped to eat at Chickie's and Pete's at Terminal C in Philadelphia Airport while catching a flight to California. We both ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich, it was shown on the menu as their specialty, but the sandwiches came cold, without any vegetables or pickles or condiments at all, just dry shredded beef on a sandwich. The beef was flavorless, I could not eat my sandwich. To be honest I took two bites of it and it made me sick because it was so tasteless and was not appearing at all!!! It was the worst sandwich that I have ever tried!!! Disappointing!!

Need a stop to watch a game or meet friends this is the place The food is just average Thin pizzas tasted good if you like full flavored sauce which we do, good quality cheese as well Fries average

By far, the best mussels in red sauce. Not just my opinion, my wife and our two friends feel the same way. Served with fresh bread, a plus for soaking up the marinara sauce at the end. Daily draft beer specials cap of a 5 Star lunch. If you are a sports fan, you will the wall-to wall televisions carrying a wide array of sporting events and show.

Last weekend my wife and I were part of a large family group which gathered at this sports bar and restaurant just over the Walt Whitman Bridge from New Jersey. We did not choose the location, nor would I have done so if I had been consulted in advance. The food was ok, but nothing more. Music was playing way too loud to allow for much conversation and by the next day I had partially lost my voice from having to shout to be heard over the music. Our six-year old granddaughter said afterwards that it was the best time she had ever enjoyed, so from that point of view it was worthwhile, but personally, I would not care to return here without our grandchildren in tow. Watching them enjoy themselves and each other was the most enjoyable part of the evening. The young servers were pleasant and did a nice job with all the kids. Valet parking.

So I came to Philadelphia for a nearby work summit. My friend recommended this place to me as a local and I am all about trying new food. The location is really huge for a sports bar though it shares a building with another bar called Play2 which is a little confusing but not overly so. I went inside and saw the huge screens everywhere and the amazing bar (picture attached). The waitress was very nice and service was good. But the main thing that nailed it for me was the food. The Crab Fries has awesome seasoning and the cheese sauce was to die for. Along with that I got the Lobster Cheesesteak which was equally wonderful. The lobster and steak together were like a cheesy surf and turf! The bar is truly impressive. I had a Downeast Cider that was so good I started trying to figure out a way to get it at home. Super high recommendation on this one!

Family group of 5.... started with sodas water and crab fries ......crab fries 10 minutes before water and sodas ..ordered lunch mussels, chicken sandwich. Wings 2 tacos and a melt. Wings and sandwich showed up 15 minutes before the rest of the meals except mussels...never showed and didn't bother to ask.. Manager's apology made no sense and didn't want to make a scene so just rolled with it.... oh and the chicken was frozen patties 2 to make a sandwich...thought it would be fresh.bun was the best part.wasnt cooked just heated. Possibly one of the worst meals I have had in a long time..Nad you would of thought they were busy. No it was empty..maybe this is why.

This is near the stadiums. Had a nice bar type menu - good for lunch or before/after a game. I had white mussels, lots of garlic, great dipping sauce. My wife had a Philly cheesesteak with provolone which she said was ordinary, she not being a cheesesteak cononsoir. Good selection of beers. Plenty of TVs, women's beach volleyball was on one channel which I focused on. A fun place.

Ive eaten here a bunch of times, and we always have had a good neal here. It is a little pricey at times, and you wont always find the friendliest bartenders, but we like it overall

After a visit to Drexel University we decided to I've lunch here. It was a great stop. Great service and food! We started with the buffalo chicken nachos they were awesome! Philly' cheesesteak was good too! Great atmosphere!

tons of tv's and nice selection of food and beers. noted for the crab fries. great place to watch the games and grab a bite to eat

My best friend and I ate here because of its proximity to Lincoln Financial Field, where we were going to a concert. When I first looked at the menu, I thought it looked like typical bar food. She convinced me that they are "famous" for seafood and their crabfries, invented by one of the owners apparently. The website hypes these fries into some sort of ecstatic experience, but they weren't. They were good, but not great. We also had salads, which were fresh and tasty. Service also lacked. I have worked in restaurants in the past, so I tend to be forgiving about slowish service. The restaurant was busy, but appeared manageable. It really seemed like our server was purposefully ignoring us. She would walk around to all of her tables, and skip us. Based on this visit, I would not be in a hurry to go again. Not for regular food and subpar service.

Service was top notch, ordered the cheesesteak - it was amazing and came out fast. Fries were perfect, seasoned just enough.

The crab fries with the melted American cheese are awesome...everything else on the menu is pretty average...worth the stop though if you have never had them!

Located near the D terminal past security we found Chickie's and Pete's and decided to give it a try. Our service arrived quick fast and in a hurry. Varied menu but we choose to go with local specialty Philly Cheese steak sandwich. once ordered it arrived amazingly quick. The fries portion was big enough for 2! Crinkle cut style with a spicy salt on them. The Philly was good but I am not an expert on Philly cheese steak so I don't have anything to compare it with. Sandwich was 12 fries were additional. Great and very quick service.

Waitress was awful food was good. Fun atmosphere. Played trivia. Had a good time. Garlic little necks and seafood Chowder

Get the cheese fries. That’s essential. Walking distance to stadium, but would recommend ride share. This is a must-visit for out of Towners.

Was not impressed from the moment I walked in. Spoke to a girl at the front to inquire about a cheese steak sandwich and she said they had already left. I asked again, same response. Thought she was having fun with me so I asked again very specifically and then she said she could take my order. So then I had to ask how about if I do this at a table or the bar. She said ok and I had to shake my head and walk away, she may have been on something. The bartender greeted me fairly quickly and let me know a little about the place. So I ordered a beer and some food. The fries came out super fast and were ok, just ok. Not what I was expecting as I am very familiar with Old Bay seasoning and that is all I detected on these fries. Anyway, finally got my Cheese Steak and was not impressed at all. Ate my food and then finished so I could get on the road. I sat at the bar trying to get her attention and then she finally walked by and asked how I was doing where I told her I was ready to go and had my card in hand clearly visible. She walked past me to the end of the bar and got on her phone. She was texting or Face Booking or something evidently and no longer paying attention to anything else. I had to whistle to one of the other staff near her and got his attention to signal I needed her to check me out. When she came over I mentioned that perhaps she didn't hear me say I was ready to go where she replied " No, I heard you". Well that pretty much sealed the fact that I don't need to recommend this place to anyone or go there again. Sent the prior to the corporate feedback line and received a response with a request to call and talk to a Dan Furmanski who is the GM. I called, was asked my name and then put on hold. Stayed on hold for over 20 minutes before someone there picked up the phone and then hung up. There hopefully has to be better choices in the area than this over rated hype of a restaurant!!!

Its a relaxed place with many an excellent selection of draft beer. They have many tvs and a couple of huge projection screens were you can watch different sports. I had the crab fries and the bacon blue cheese burger and they were great. The service is also very nice.

This place is great. Gambling and eating at a grand resort what else could be better. Well I’ll tell you! This bartender Claudia always serves me and give me the best service I’ve ever had, she takes care of her team and has the best attitude she gives to her costumer, i definitely recommend coming here to make a friend plus its in a casino. Thank you GSR RENO NV

Been going there for past 3 month. Great beer selection, positive atmosphere. Try crab fries, to die for.

I met some telecommuting colleagues in person for the first time at the Packer location . The place was comfortable, fun and decent food. The noise level was just right for conversation. Cheesesteak was good, crab fries were delicious. Attentive service

The waitress really needed some service training. I originally ordered clam chowder. It was disgusting. I mean like, straight out of the can, into the microwave then into a bowl gross. So I sent it back and got mussels instead.

love this place to see a good game or fight, I had the mussels which were very good, in the red sauce. customer service was very good, and friendly

I ordered through Uber eats. The food was delivered hot, BUT no napkins or utensils. I don't know if that is on the restaurant or Uber. The hamburger was one of the best tasting i have had in a longtime. The crab fries were tasty. I would definitely eat here again.

It was a delivery order and it was fine but expensive, and over seasoned. Girlfriend said the lobster roll was fine but garlicky and I’ve never gotten a pizza I wouldn’t order ever again but here we are….

We were in Philly so we tried the Philly Cheese steak sandwich and fries. The sand which was a large sub roll with hardly any meat and melted cheese sauce. I've had better local steak and cheese subs. The fries were super spicy and also came with cheese sauce. They had weird crab fries but we didn't try those. We ordered several firs not realizing they come in a huge basket. We wasted a lot of fries. One basket was enough for four adults.

We tried Chickie & Petes on the recommendation of a friend and it was the best meal we had in Philly even over the Cheese Steak! My wife had the fish taco's and I had the roast pork with a side of fries and both were better than we expected. We stopped in before a concert and shared a great time. I assure you if I'm ever back in Philadelphia I will go again and order the roast pork without reservation! I've always heard about the Cheese Steak, I'm telling you the roast pork is a hidden secret.

Did this on way to a Phillies game. Huge sports bar and very friendly and competent staff. Did not eat but the beer was god and priced right. Tons of other people were eating. Mostly burgers. Took their free shuttle to the game. If you are a walker you can also easily walk it. Local institution with other branches

Love everything and anything about this place! The service, food, and overall experience is top notch! Especially if your a Eagle fan!!! Dont pass it up in souf Philly!!!

Go and get the Crab Fries , we were introduced to these last year at a hockey game in Allentown, and when we came to PA for a Flyers game my son could not wait to get some !

If you like marginal food then this is your place. The best thing this management could do is shut down the kitchen and expand the bar. I will never eat here again nor could I recommend eating here! This is not a good Philly Restaurant . This is a place to miss, go someplace else, if you want good food. This is good for drinking and big screen TV's. The food and service is well below average. MANAGMENT WAKE UP.

Great food and great atmosphere. Anybody visiting from out of town wants to stop there on the way here 😆

This is truly the best around. Great atmosphere, a ton of tv with all the local sports games on. The best crabs, wings, pizza and don't forget the crab fries!

As usual, the food was very good and the service was friendly. Nice selection of beers including local brews. Shellfish Chowder, Shrimp Pizza and of course Crab Fries are a must try.

My brother and sister-in-law had a 6 hour layover in Philadelphia so we decided to go Chickie's & Pete's on Packer Avenue to eat and watch college football. The staff was very accommodating allowing us to watch the game of our choice. The environment was very pleasant and the food was great! Very seldom do you find a nice sports bar with good food! I will definitely go back. Only one dislike....the chairs were hard and uncomfortable. Other than that, we enjoyed our time there.

price too high the waiter took forever small portions and waited forever for food .. i was there with my mother sister and daughter. i will not return.

A Philadelphia tradition, Chickie’s and Pete’s is famous for their crab fries - crinkle cut fries loaded with Old Bay seafood seasoning. Depends on how much you like super salty and spicy fries, but worth a try when you’re in Philly. The fries are much better then the chicken.

I have heard rave reviews for Chickie and Petes and decided to try them when waiting for a concert at Financial field. We got in line and ordered the famous crab fries. The employees behind the counter looked like they were doing us a favor. The fries were dried and the crab part seemed to be old bay. We wound up throwing them out.

We went here after getting a recommendation from a friend. The server was great and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The menu was quite large. I was not impressed with the crab fries but the rest of the group enjoyed them. The selection of beer was nice. The biggest issue was that I could see 9 televisions from my seat but could only see 2 different channels.

Recently held a smal corporate event at this location. The restaurant was able to give us a small room in the back where I could give a presentation. I especially want to recognize Adrianna for her professionalism and hard work. She took care of our group single handedly and did a wonderful job! All of the food came out fresh and very fast.

Stopped by after the Temple-Georgia Tech game--15 min wait which wasn't bad for a Saturday night--host podium was very busy. Waitress was very nice & attentive but timing of food coming out needs to be better. We got our crab fries immediately but mt husband's sandwich (roast pork) came out way before my burger did. We were essentially finished with the fries before our sandwiches came out. Hubby reported that the roast pork was very skimpy on the pork & heavy on the roasted peppers & white cheese. He was finished his sandwich & my burger came out 15 minutes after that! We have been to Chickie's & Pete's multiple times & have never had this happen--will stick to the AC location in the Trop!

This is a great spot for a casual night There were 2 of us. We sat at the bar. I had I had a 1/2 pound of cold shrimp and a Cobb salad topped grilled salmon. the food was to die for and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back!

On the recommendation of a coworker, we stopped in for dinner at this location. Huge place with many TVs to watch sports as well as order the world famous Crabfries, which we did. Lots of fries with beer cheese fir dipping, Original Philly Cheesesteak, Shrimp Tacos, mozzarella sticks washed down with a Yuengling. Service was friendly, efficient and attentive. Definitely a place to go when in town.

This place charged 29.00 for 2 cheesesteak sandwiches. I would have no problem with this somewhat high price if these tasted anything like the delicious dishes I was craving. These were dry, tasteless imitation cheesesteak sandwiches. I should not have ordered the extra mushrooms, but my husbands red pepper version was no better. This was a long airport layover and I guess I should have stuck to fried chicken.

This is a perfect place to go if you need a place to eat before or after any event near the Philadelphia stadiums. There is a large bar, many TVs, and a good menu.

Though staff is friendly and accommodating, food is awful! Mussels were foul and half of them were closed, plastic cheap silverware for a $30 meal served in a plastic carton? Pleaseee, skip this stinker.....

This is an American style sports bar and restaurant. Many tv's with sports games, loud music. Menu from burgers to seafood, feature is the old bay fries, found them to be nothing special. Food was average, price average. Many craft beers to choose from.

We showed up late with a big group so credit where credit's due they had a table ready for us when we walked in. The food here was good and most of it came out in a timely manner. They did forget my friend's chilled shrimp which honestly should have been the first thing to come out, like how long does it take the do that? It even took a while to inquire about that because our waitress was very hard to track down most of the night. It was very late and there weren't many tables occupied when we were there so in my opinion there's no excused why it took us 15 min at least everytime we needed our waitress. Someone from our group also needed to go to the front desk to get our check because we were waiting 15+ minutes just to try to ask for the check and she was nowhere to be seen to be flagged down.

I flew up from Texas for the Flyers Carnival. The day before the carnival, there was a Flyers game in Montreal. But, the hotel never has the channel. So, I needed a place to catch the game. Someone recommended Xfinity Live, but then I was told that they sometimes have a cover charge. So, someone else recommended Chickie's and Petes. I had the cab drop me off there from the downtown area. There are plenty of tv's with different sports events. And, the food is great. I forgot about the timezone difference, so I ended up staying here for like 4 hours, by the time the game was done. No one gave me any hassle about taking up a table for that long, and the waiter was extremely helpful. I would recommend this place!

Loved the setting. Great looking bars, large beer selection. Wide variety of foods. Unfortunately, night started out by not being served for 15+ minutes. Finally flagged down another waitress who got us draft beers that unfortunately were flat. Loved the crab cakes while lobster roll had great tasting lobster and stale bread.

While the food is passably good and coffee passé, the surly waitress ruined my experience!!! Not being flexible and communicative is one sure way to ruin it for me, she refused to listen, or even to let me ask questions, gave me a surly attitude, all reason to turn me away!!! Note to the manager - hire right and train right! Also at 15 dollars the breakfast was overpriced, mediocre to the palate! This restaurant will or get my vote or tip!

This is the best place to eat in Philly, the crabby fries are amazing! If you are an Eagles fan watch the players twitter accounts as they eat there frequently.

Pretty cool place. Lots of TVs, lots of drink options. Buffalo Wings A+ Cheese Fries A+ Cheesesteak C Kids meal chicken tenders were the average store bought chicken patties.

The pizza at Chickie and Pete's is my favorite. I also get a pizza to take home. It is great for breakfast the next day.The only drawback is the city tax on drinks.

This was my first visit to this Philadelphia restaurant chain. The place was very crowded, so that was a positive indicator. Luckily we had reservations, so that is something to keep in mind. There are a plethora of television broadcasting sports games, but the sobd was muted, which was helpful, as the noise level from the patrons made conversation an effort. The wait staff was attentive and prompt. As for the food, it was certainly better than average. Burgers were done as requested, the crab fries are a must to try (spicy but not hot). The New England clam chowder was hearty and flavorful. The field green salad was large enough to fill the grass catcher on a lawn tractor. Try it with pump crab meat -- it's killing! Oh...and the prices are certainly reasonable. So give this place a try. I know that I'll be back!

Went here on a business trip for lunch. I had the crab cakes and they had a ton of meat with little breading. My friends had burgers and fries. Everyone was satisfied and would go back. We ate at the bar and although I do not drink my coworkers do and the bartender made sure everyone was taken care of.

A great local sports bar. Must try the Crab Fries. Had the wings, very tasty. Also the steamers, made as they should be. Will be back when in the area.

Its a hopping place but the service and food are always spot on. We love to go for the Marks and Reese show on WIP radio followed by Brandon Graham. Good beer selection and I love their beer and white pizza!

Was recommended to C&Ps at the airport and ate at their take out spot with tables. The Philly Cheese Steak should not have cheese or steak in the name. A slander to the philly cheese steak name. Seasoned fries were really good.

First time enjoying an evening meal at this sports restaurant. A short wait and fast service by our waiter. Food was prepared to order and was served hot. Had the crab nachos, very good. Finished with some crab fries and crab cake sandwich. All and all a good meal, nice location and safe area. Worth the stop if you love phila sports and want to be with others who love sports as well. close to the sporting stadiums.

On a Saturday evening, you can expect a wait to be seated. The place was mobbed. Great beer selection, many TV's covering sports events, and of course a great meal of very fresh seafood. Spicy Mussels, highly recommended.

I was born & raised in South Philly. This place is a must visit every time we go back to visit. Great mussels, Sandwiches and Crab fries. All the food is good. Portions could be bigger for the price. Service is hit or miss. Still gotta go when we're in Philly. Especially fun if a sports radio show is being broadcast on site.

Grabbing a bite to eat before the Army Navy game found us ordering their chick strip sandwich. The bread/roll was cold and dry. The chicken strips were OK but nothing special. Would try to find some other place to eat in the future.

randomly when here while my husband I were visiting the food was incredible and was surprisingly cheaper than expected. We would definitely recommend especially to sea food lovers.

My friend and I went for all you eat crabs on September 3,2018. I drank Water and she had two diet root beers. Our total came to $90.61. Our server name was Taylor who kept the crabs flowing. We were able to get in and out before the big rush.

Everything we ordered was excellent. The service was great. The atmosphere is definitely for the sports fan. Overall great experience!!!

Some items were good (i.e. Atmosphere, extensive menu' prompt service) while others were not (i.e.. never asked if we wanted a drink refill, the wings were average at best). This is a good chain of restaurants. That needs to improve / train their staff These issues will cattch up to you if not repaired.

Went there the other day for a get together with co-workers and the bartenders were very rude. It was not even prime time!! It was 3:00 in the afternoon. Don’t try and order a drink during a shift change, they actually said no and we needed to close out our checks. I would suggest if you are looking for a get together... go some place else.

My first trip to the famous Chickie's and Pete's was okay, but nothing to write home about as they say. We were told the wait would be about 30 minutes (on a Saturday evening). As it approached 60 minutes our inquire on further wait time was answered with very vague verbiage. A few minutes later we were seated in a semi-private room with only one other table (both groups numbering at least 7 in the party). The choice of beers was impressive and the food choices about typical. The New England Clam Chowder was very good and the wait staff was very nice. The other areas of the bar would probably be tough to hear any kind of conversation, but where we were seated was not too bad. As with any in city venue, parking could be tricky, but we did find two spots without any trouble. We made it to the game (hockey) on time and none of us felt like we needed to eat anything there.

When we go here, we only eat a few things. The music can use a little help. The obeisance is great for a small quick gathering. The draft beer is always fresh. The shrimp are theeeeee best here! Always ask for Old bay on the side tho.

Was in the area for the home show and needed to get a bite to eat. Never was there and said lets give it a try. We had to wait alittle bit; no worries. Service was quick and friendly. Nice atmosphere. All the food was tasty. Place is famous for the "crab Fries" glad we got them! will go again

This morning I decided to have an early breakfast at the Philadelphia airport before my flight and stopped in to Chickie's and Pete's airport location (Terminal E). I ordered one of their breakfast platters with eggs, sausage and fries. The eggs were absolutely the worst I have ever had served to me anywhere in the world. They were flattened into little 1" square leaves and tasted totally like cardboard. I don't know what you would have to do to make eggs end up either looking or tasting like that. They were totally awful. The only way I could eat them was by drowning them in ketchup. I will say that the sausage was good but even the fries were sub-standard, which surprised me for a sports bar. I'm sure their cheesesteaks are good and probably their wings and beer on tap too, but do yourself a favor and stay away at breakfast time. I won't be making that mistake again.
Great Seafood Feast!
For a Friday night after a Phillies win our wait was only about 15 minutes! We had the feast and it was amazing! The seasoning was a bit too spicy for my date so we had to order another one without the seasoning:(. Anyway it didn't take long to come out and it was amazing without all of the seasoning!
