A decent, clean option for good Chinese food for those folks staying at one of the nearby airport hotels. Pricing is reasonable, service is quick and the offerings for the most part are better than average.

The delivery service was quick (with a $25 minimum charge plus a $3 delivery fee) but the food was "So-So" at best and the portions were tiny! Would have been better if we went to Safeway and purchased the Chinese food buffet, could have saved at least $10, would have had more foos and it would have been much better! But sadly, Safeway doesn't deliver!!

Tried Black and White mushroom dish which was good but took way to long to get. Portions were little and prices were high. Will not go back

This restaurant was close to the HGI. It was OK, nothing spectacular but it did the job for graving Chinese after a long trans con flight.

When entering the restaurant, a funny smell met our noses, and we wondered how clean the kitchen was, and if the frying grease was part of the problem. I ordered the sampler appetizer, which was really greasy and not that good. My husband ordered a tufu dish which was not too bad.

They were supposed to give us a 10% discount since we were guests at the comfort suites. They didn't honor this agreement. The food is average, expensive and in small portions. Service is average.

It was not a 5 star, but was good food for take out to the hotel... I had the Chicken curry, it was decent, but not exceptional.

Ordered here for take out lunch and service and food was fast and tasty. The dining room is small for sit in but ok.

I stopped in to have a drink and play a few games of Video Poker. And to see what the place looked like as far as eating goes. China Wok looks very nice inside. a small Chinese Restaurant with nicely arranged tables with peaceful cloth covers on the tables. The Video poker area is in back . Perhaps 5 or 6 video poker machines. I orderedd a bottle of BUd and was surprised by the dark blue bottle. I had never seen one like this before. The video poker machine could car less. It gobbled up my spare ones with gusto. So I picked up a menu and read through it to get a better idea of the food they serve here. Looks like a place worth eating at ometime in the future. Yeah, I plan to freturn when I have a hunger for food instead of video Poker. My money wood be better used feeding me instead of a machine.

quick and efficient, the food isn't spectacular but its filling and reasonably priced. The people were friendly and efficient and the restaurant takes all major credit cards. I had the beans and chicken and the hot and sour soup. All were enjoyable.

This was close to all of the airport hotels and we thought that it should be pretty good. First impression on entering was favorable....friendly staff and clean restaurant. However, the food had virtually NO taste at all. It looked good but it was so bland. And how can you mess up Won-Ton soup? Just leave it alone - stick to the basics and don't try to get cutsey by adding shrimp, extra veggies, noodles, etc. etc. The best thing about this restaurant were the homemade fortune cookies. Awesome!

It arrived pretty quick and it was hot. The delivery guy was friendly. It was spendy - about thirty bucks with a tip for two people. We had one entree and some pot-stickers with white rice. The food was okay - nothing spectacular. It met our needs in that it was hot and arrived quickly.

We were looking for an inexpensive restaurant near our airport hotel and this one filled the bill. The food was about average but the service was good.

On a recent visit, I ordered Mongolian Beef for take out. The portion was a pretty nice size with plenty of rice. The quality was fine with decent taste. One small complaint is that when I got back to my hotel to eat- only one portion of soy sauce. Not a big deal, but would have been nice to have more

The food was awful, the chicken cashew, fried rice and fried chicken wings had zero flavor. The spring rolls were small and just ok. Cannot recommend this restaurant.

This family owned restaurant is very tasty, the meals are fresh and clean. Inside looks cleaner than other small restaurants around that area. Excellent quality food and a good portion size amount. I recommend for travlers and local people. Thank you for your nice service China Wok.

Fast delivery and a great value, had the kung pao chicken and crab puffs and they were awesome!

The food is sooo good. Very tasty and fresh, not oily at all. Even my fussy kids enjoyed the food. The restaurant is not very attractive but the food is amazingly good. 😃

Really good freshly cooked food--The Mu Shu chicken was to die for! Ice cold Tsing Tao. Fair prices. Staff very pleasant! Highly recommend!

We decided to get take out walked over to China Wok. A lady and gentlemen went over a few items from the menu and the specials on the board. They helped us select our dinners and made sure they were as spicey as we requested. The hot and sour soup was the Best we have ever eaten. Great price and plenty to eat.

I went to this restaurant as I was staying at a nearby hotel. The place is simple, but clean and the staff is friendly. I had the eggplant with garlic sauce and it was very good: plentiful and inexpensive. I would easily return when back in town.

Business trip: table for one scenario. Hospitable courteous staff. Clear menu. I was pleased with my choices of hot and sour soup followed by sautéed broccoli with hot garlic sauce. Very good value. A tasty effective solo dinner.

We ate lunch here, the portions are huge, but the food tasted a bit boring and watery. I had trouble understanding the waitress, and she brought the main course while I was only halfway through my egg rolls. And there were just a few too many interruptions. If you want nice Chinese food, go to Panda Express in the nearby Cascade Station shopping centre.

While we ate the food, it was not very good. I had chicken with cashews. It appeared to have cashews sprinkled over a preprepared generic chicken dish. My husband's fried rice seemed to be warmed over and was gummy. The tea was good and included. Service was ok but they speak very little English. The atmosphere of the restaurant was light and airy, but the adjoining gaming room was not.

Tried China Wok after not getting service at another restaurant in the same strip mall. We were warmly welcomed into a clean, bright restaurant. The service was prompt and for an extra dollar they were happy to accomodate my husband's request for additional vegetables in his dish. Food was good and portions were large. We would go again if in the area.

The best Lemon Chicken in town and perhaps Oregon. Other dishes are great too!!! Close to PDX and THE Portland

One of a very, very limited number of options that deliver. I liked that the menu included choice of brown rice. Food was flavored well, portions were generous, and delivery was quite fast.

Ok, I've been to China. What we are served in the US bears little resemblance to what we were served in China. In the USA we love our meat. Pork, Chicken or Beef. We cannot get enough of it. In China, meat is greatly outweighed by vegetables. Maybe that is one reason we are a fatter people then the average Chinese national. They also walk a lot more then we car happy wanderers do. So, given that information, the China Wok delivers typical Chinese American fare and it tastes good, comes out fast and is served by friendly folks. I eat at CW when I am in Portland as it is close to where I stay. I have never had a bad meal there but the prices have risen in the past 5 years. Not a huge increase but not the bargain it used to be. It is convenient and quick. Gets my recommendation.

These folks are nice and very accommodating. We arrived shortly before closing (10 minutes) and they happily served us, and the food was very good. They were friendly and it was very nice for a small restaurant. We had a vegetarian in our party and they had lots of good choices! Everyone was happy and I'd definitely go again!

Mediocre food for high prices. Was craving Chinese food otherwise would have simply ate at the hotel restaurant. How is fried rice still white?

Found this place quite by accident and really liked it! The restaurant itself isn't much to look at but don't let that fool you - the food is very good, fresh, fast, and the portions are generous. The Sauteed Broccoli with Hot Garlic Sauce is delicious!

I always stop by for lunch a couple times a week. I discovered China Wok a few years back and have never been disappointed with the food or service once in all the times I've come to eat there. My personal favorite is the Honey Walnut Shrimp; it's to die for!. Sometimes I bring along my friends whenever we have the opportunity and we do a family style dinner. The portions are extremely generous, the food and ingredients are always fresh, the facility is very clean, and the service is fantastic. It's always a delight to eat at China Wok as it's just absolutely fabulous. Anyone that love hot, fresh food while being served by some of the friendliest people you'll meet, then you need to give China Wok a try; cause you're worth it ;)

This family run Chinese place was recommend by the reception staff of the Candlewood Suites Hotel Portland Airport and we we are thankful until today for this tip. The food was delicious at dinner - so good that we came again next day for lunch!! Go there and enjoy!

We should have left when we noticed no one else was in the restaurant when we arrived. While it was a bit early only 4 other people came after we did. It was clean and the staff was courteous. But, the food was nearly tasteless. Not what we'd hoped for on our last day of vacation.

Stopped by at 9:30 pm. While the place is dated it was clean and food was surprising fresh and good. Good value.

Good little place that delivers ftp many hotels on the strip where it is located. Most hotels ore of the 2-3 star variety so this food is a good option especially the delivery part. The food is good but unfortunately not universally good so it is hit and miss. Nice people that run the restaurant. Worth a try in a pinch.

The food here isn't the best, but it's not terrible by any means. The sweet and soup was pretty good, the Kung Pao chicken was pretty bad - no flavor, hardly any sauce.....but the beef with hot garlic sauce - out of this world amazing! Piping hot, super garlicky, sweet and tangy, and a huge lunch portion for only $7.95. If you come here, just get that dish.

We needed a little bite, and the hotel recommended the Chinese food at this "typical" strip mall restaurant. My wife was not happy, but I like even average Chinese food. Well, we were both blown away by the food! This was perhaps the best Chinese food we have ever had! Absolutely amazing bean and chicken (green beans with black bean sauce), the hot and sour soup was delish! You could go to 100 Chinese eateries that look just like this one and never get food this good!!! Looks can be deceiving :-)

This place was right across from the airport hotel I stayed at--and near several others as well. It isn't fancy but has a decent selection on the menu. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was really quite good and the price reasonable. Not cookie cutter frozen stuff but real cooking. Way better than the chain restaurants all around it.

the usual type Chinese restaurant/ food was ok, servings were large, and service was pleasant within walking distance to several hotels, and other stores. If you're tired and want Chinese this isn't bad.

Absolutely the best Oriental food in all of Portland. I've been delighting in the food here for 22 years, and have yet to get a single mouthful that didn't make my mouth happy. They know my favorites, and will often make dishes that are not on the menu for me. If there is something you'd like especially, just ask. There is a wide variety of dishes on the menu, representing nearly every Province of China, and Hong Kong, all of which are prepared to perfection. The chicken dishes have real pieces of chicken, mostly white meat, not like the chopped up portions of nearly any part of the chicken like other restaurants I've tried. Their shrimp is always fresh and perfectly cooked, never with a fishy, spoiled taste. The beef is the most tender and flavorful I've ever had. It's near the Airport, just off of Airport Way which makes it handy for Airport hotels, Cascade Station, and the Industrial Parks nearby. Their repeat business is so prevalent you might find Lilly (the owner) and the other folks who work there giving a hug to their customers who have become friends through the years. I would have posted pictures (from my last visit yesterday) of the delicious food, but I was so anxious to get it into my mouth, I forgot to take any. If you are expecting Chung King type food you may be disappointed because this food is so far beyond that realm. Instead everything is prepared fresh right there in the wonderfully family oriented kitchen. Don't miss this gem, especially if you have a sophisticated pallet.

Great food for your dollar despite the ok service. They're just not the friendliest warm and fuzzy type of employees but I go for the great food, not for hugs!

Good place to eat for Chinese food. They give you nice large portions to eat. So much that I couldn't finish mine.

We were in Portland to visit the waterfalls and gardens in the area. Our hotel is walking distance to this restaurant. We decided to give it a try since we were too tired to drive around. Pleasantly surprised at how good the food is. We are vegetarians and they accomodated us with no problems at all. The restaurant is clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. Being from California, this is inexpensive (plus no state tax!) The lady that helped us even gave us plates and utensils so we could eat our leftovers at our hotel later. Very nice!

My family and I had been staying at Comfort suites which does not have a restaurant so for us the restaurant has an excellent location - we coulld get there on foot. The food was tasty, not the usual and kind of boring Chinese one. We had white and blck mushroom with beef dish. And brocolis with chicken. Both were great.

food was good, delivery efficient. We were able to reheat in the microwave. Came with plates and forks.

We stopped in for some dinner and KENO and we're very happy with our food! I had a combination plate that was very yummy. The egg rolls were also good. They have a lotto room with one KENO tv, it worked perfectly for us. The staff were extremely nice and attentive.

I have stayed many nights on Airport Rd- at the Springhill suites, Fairfield Inn, and Holiday Inn Express. China Wok is a new discovery and much better than expected. If you like Tofu, the "country Bean Curd with vegetables" is for you! very good ! very pleasant service and good prices- this will be my go-to airport area restaurant in the future. Glad we tried it.

I enjoyed the China Wok restaurant. The portions were large and the staff was friendly. I was staying at a hotel nearby and this restaurant was within walking distance of many hotels in the area.

Really enjoyed this Chinese restaurant. I was staying at the comfort suites and it's right next door. Lunch special was pork or chicken with beans. I ordered the chicken it was stir fried with fresh green beans, onions and a really good sauce. Large portion for around 8 dollars. Great value and delicious food. Highly recommend.

Stayed at a nearby hotel and the China Wok was within walking distance. I had the ginger beef special with fried rice and found it to be very average tasting and the entire meal was very greasy. The facilites were clean and appeared well kept and the staff was friendly. If I had a choice, I would pass it by.

As we were staying at the Comfort Suites next door we popped in here for dinner one night. The place is quite basic but clean and service was both fast and courteous. We has pork with bean sprouts and chicken in hot garlic sauce. Both meals were very tasty. We made the mistake of ordering a portion of rice but the size of the meals meant we needn't have. Price was ok for this type of establishment. Whilst this was not the best chinese i have had it proved a very welcome meal after a long day on the road.

I’m from out of town and I was craving Chinese food. We ordered the wonton soup (seafood) and soft noodles chicken chow mein. The soup was very good and very filling. Unfortunately, the chow mein looked soggy and tasted bland. The soy sauce provided was also bland as if it was watered down and didn’t help with the flavor. Although the lady who served us was pleasant, the food is forgettable and I probably won’t come here again next time I’m visiting Portland.

It was a very relaxing place to eat. My server was very attentive to my needs. I tried the teriyaki chicken which was great. I went at lunch so they had lunch special with soup, rice and a dish. The soup I had was half sweet and sour and half egg drop with was the best I ever ate wow! quick service no hot food!

Very mediocre food. How can Gen Tso chicken be so tasteless and dry? Same for pot stickers. Terribly overpriced considering everything is ala carter. No customers should at dinner hour should be a warning, especially when nearby restaurants were packed.

I came here for dinner with a couple of friends about a week ago and thank goodness we did. The moment we walked in we could smell very fresh and delicious food. The waitress who assisted us was out of this world. She was very nice and patient and was also very helpful. She was always there when we needed her. SInce it was our first time of course we needed some help. She recommended the dinner specials which were the Mandarin Chicken Wings,Orange Chicken, Black Pepper Beef, and Salt and Pepper Shrimp. All of which were just phenomanal. Everything came with soup, rice, and eggrolls. The prices were really reasonable and the portions were huge even for big dudes like us. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes Chinese food. Overall I just had an outstanding experience.

Good selection, service and preparation of food choices. Inexpensive. Close to airport hotels.

I was staying at a nearby hotel, and noticed China Wok when I drove past. So when I got to my hotel room, I looked them up, found their website, saw that they were supposed to be open until 10:00 PM (it was about 8:45 PM), put in an online order and paid for it with a credit card (and instantly got an e-mail receipt), got in my car and drove the ¼ mile or so to the restaurant. The place was locked up, and there were a couple of people, obviously employees or owners, working inside. I knocked on the door, and the woman at the cash register mouthed to me through the locked glass door that they were closed. I had to holler to be heard, but explained that I’d put in a pick-up order just minutes before, it had been accepted, my credit card had been charged, and I’d already received a receipt. The woman refused to open the door, opting to yell through it instead. She told me that she’d seen my order, but had canceled it, and it had already been refunded. I went back to the restaurant’s website, and checked my e-mail. The original charge already went through, but there is no cancellation message, or refund. These people are either incompetent, untrustworthy, or both. Stay away, or live to regret it.

We have eaten here two or three times in the last year. The food has been consistently good, hot, and served quickly. We have tried different dishes each time we've gone and haven't been disappointed. China Wok is close, walking distance, to several PDX hotels.

Food is okay, standard fare, but what made our dinner pleasant was the cleanliness & attentive server, she was so polite, so quick to deliver a nice hot dinner. Prices seemed a bit expensive for the quality of food, but still we were satisfied with everything overall. We will eat there again next trip through PDX

Surprisingly good Chinese food. Pleasant welcome on arrival. Prompt service. Ordered #4 with chow mein, fried rice, shrimp, sweet and sour pork. Served hot, tasty and obviously freshly prepared. Excellent Chinese option if travelling from the airport.
Good food!
Good food and a great value for the money. I appreciated the service. Thanks for having us. We’ll be back
