Hard to find a parking place, but once you're in the restaurant you feel good. Since the weather was nice with lots of sun we choose to sit on the upstairs terrace. Very forthcoming and friendly service. Very good food and if you care for a good beer I strongly recommend to have a Radeberger Pilsner (on tap) imported from Germany. It definitely completes a good dinner out on the terrace with great water views. A great place in Seattle. ....and further down the road great views of the Seattle skyline.

We loved the place from the moment that we accidentally walked in. And, then when mom came over to our table to welcome us with her Greek loving welcome, I knew this was exactly what we were looking for. Then after being so delighted with our decision her sons took it to the next level with a gracious and genuine welcome and topped it with top notch service that made us feel like a lucky family member. Oh, the pizza is amazing... craving their pizza now! We're from Portland and this will always make our list of restaurant destinations every time when we're in town. Cheers!

Son's husbands and the mama have worked at this amazing breakfast location. You must get anything Greek as the cheeses are phenomenal in their omelettes. You will fell at home, you will get nothing but giant smiles and there is laughter to fill your plate. Parking is a challenge, but do not pass up the chance to share a meal with this family business.

Such good pizza!!! Lovely service and the warm pita with the salads is a wonderful treat. This is a local treasure 😋and has great outdoor tables too, or the front garage door-windows fold out of the way for a beautiful Alki experience!

excellent place to have dinner on the beach on a good weather day sitting out in patio. awesome food, superb service & sumptuous food.

We had an excellent Greek meal here while on holiday in the USA. The service in particular was excellent with the waiter paying special attention to our needs. I would highly recommend.

My husband and I took the King's Ferry over to West Seattle. When we got there we walked down to Alki Beach. We were ready for Happy Hour Drinks and some light food and selected Christo's. Our waiter was Bryan - he was knowledgeable about the food and had good suggestions and helped answer our questions about the area. We both had dinner salads and then my husband had the Calamari and I had the Spanakopita. The Calamari was cooked perfectly with a light batter and wasn't greasy at all. The serving size was plenty enough to share. The Spanakopita was huge - I couldn't eat it all. The spinach had a great flavor and the phyllo was crispy brown on top without being over cooked. Our drinks were Mai Tai's and they were mixed professionally. I would go back and recommend this for a great Happy Hour.

This restaurant has an environment that is family friendly and is very welcoming to everyone. The pizza and salad were delicious and is something I would highly recommend.

nice place

outstanding food and service , this is a special place to eat, love the traditional dishes from the mother land and son nick has the potential to take over the business after petrol retires and continue to serve the wonderful food that grandma and granddad brought to the states , great seating upstairs and down , drinks are fantastic and the beach is right there, take a walk on the bored walk . the bar tender peter is knowledgeable and very friendly.

Ask Pete for his top 4 dinner recommendations then watch him make Spanish Coffee's. Drinking them is addictive.

Not sure went this makes the lost of the best of West Seattle. It's average at best and not really Greek our Mediterranean. Better pizza and pasta everywhere in West Seattle.

We were on our way to eat at a restaurant next door. As we passed Christos' window... We looked in and saw the most delicious looking pizza. My wife suggested we skip the planned seafood dinner and try this place. We were SO glad we did. Pizza was great. The place was full... But service was still excellent.

It's not fine dining but the dining is certainly more than fine and certainly varied. Being a Greek family, there's the usual fare of gyros and Greek salad and such but it's also on Alki so the seafood doesn't disappoint either. There's also pizza, hot/cold subs, and really good appys (try the artichoke/crab dip!) to please folks that just want comfort food and cocktails. Oh, and let's not forget the bar. Good rotating beer selection and a good batch of tiki-style cocktails all combined with rooftop dining in the sunshine make for a special weekend afternoon, after work wind down, or a good place to while away the day. Try it!

After weeks of snow, rain anything but blue sky today was finally a day to get out. After messing around in Seattle we decided to drive over to west Seattle for a waterfront walk. We stopped in to Christo's for pizza and wow. This is not some delivered or take home and cook kind of pizza this pizza is thick and tasty. Enjoy the view, people watching while you eat. 🍕

In our family of four, we ordered alfredo pasta with added chicken, a pepperoni calzone, calamari and caesar salads. All the food was huge portions and amazing flavours. Since it was later in the evening, we shared some dishes, which turned out to be a great decision. Our server was attentive and she was a great resource of the local area. "Pops" came over to our table to chat and make sure we were enjoying his restaurant and our experience was excellent. We noticed locals coming in for a drink at the bar, watching the game and sharing finger foods. Seemed everyone knew each other and were very friendly. Wish we lived closer than 2 hours away so we could visit more often.

Great meal for each of us. Pasta with protein, accompanied by bread. Restaurant is across from the beachfront, not crowded when we visited on a weeknight. Parking can be difficult, but we found a place and did not pay. Enjoyed walking on the beach afterwards.

Along with many others, we were walking along the Alki beach front when hunger hit. There are plenty of burger places, pubs, pizza, northwest fare and a few higher end places but we wanted something "homey" and different. Then, we came upon Christo's. Once seated it became clear this was a locals' favorite, as many were greeted by first name as they arrived. "Mamma", as named on some Christo's menu items, was in attendance. This restaurant appears to be a family enterprise. In my opinion, it's nice to support a truly local restaurant and one that's not part of a chain. As is my custom, I ordered a salad, "Momma's Greek Salad", and was pleased to find that "mixed greens" did not mean that combination so often found that comes from a premix purchased through restaurant supply. Here it seemed that the greens were actually prepared and "mixed" at the restaurant. Also ordered was calamari to top the salad. Here Christo's gets 5 stars. The calamari was delicately breaded and flash cooked to perfection. It's so easy to over cook calamari and end up with chewy rubberbands. I also enjoyed the greek dressing which had a nice balance of oil and vinegar (not too much of either) and spices (not too much oregano). My family companion had souvlaki chicken which was accompanied by some good looking greek french fries (see picture). Chicken was tender & moist. The only reason I didn't give an overall 5 rating is because I thought the prices were a little high.

They were able to accommodate a party of 16 in a private room, and although there was a bit of a draft near the doorway, the door presumably could have been closed had we asked. Our party ordered a variety of both Greek and Non-Greek cuisine: the appetizers were tasty, the Calzones (Greek and BBQ) were both HUMONGOUS and very good, and the Spanakopita also VERY good but portions a bit small-ish. There were no complaints! There was also a nice selection of wine. In the rest of the restaurant were a variety of seating options. The staff were friendly, and the owner warm and welcoming. The restaurant appeared clean. Parking is limited but worth hunting for a space to eat here.

This place is all about the view and the vibe of being across the street from Alki Beach. Their second story deck is an absolute treat to watch the sunset and people frolic and congregate in this really cool neighborhood. Service is great and super friendly. I had a pizza which was OK. My friend had a salad which was fine. It’s just a great place to hang out. If I lived here, I’d be a regular.

Great food great service dishes second to none!! Best pizza in town, but other dishes are delicious too many to list! Visiting Seattle? Christos on Alki beach is a must!!

It's not the best Greek food I had outside of Greece, but it's authentic enough, tasty, flavorful, fresh. Service is friendly and efficient and cocktails are refreshing.

We live close to Alki and decided to walk down for an early dinner. We hadn't tried Christo's before so we thought we'd take a chance and order dinner. It was a beautiful evening so we sat up on the upper outside deck. Their menu was quiet large and had several choices from burgers to pasta to salad and pizza. They also had a happy hour menu. My husband ordered a burger and fries and I had a chicken salad. We both ordered happy hour wine ($5.50). Our meals were great and the service was excellent. By time we left the place was pretty full. They have a full bar in the lower level and both indoor and outdoor seating. We will definitely come back. This looks like a great place for families or large groups.

The pizza is amazing the wait staff was great we were here with our 2 grandsons and best friend for bday dinner

Walking in Alki on a busy sunny Sunday, we chose Christo’s by default, since they could seat us immediately. They have outside, inside and upstairs outdoor seating. We chose to sit inside, where we could clearly see the beach and people watch. Little did we know, we would also be entertained by the owners of this establishment. The matriarch sat at the table next to us, we watched as she looked over the restaurant, keeping the employees on their toes, making sure all customers were being served. One of her sons tended bar and was actively running drinks to clientele. Before we left, we had a chance to speak with her, only to find out that she and her husband had owned this restaurant for 20 years, she told us her husband and another son were in the kitchen cooking as well. This matriarch takes obvious pride and joy of her establishment, making sure her customers are being well taken care of.

Family business place. Th food and drinks are really good and it's affordable. I truly recommend this place

We went to low tide on Alki and stopped in to have some lunch. Fun atmosphere. Friendly, met "Papa" and our waitress was very nice. Food was very good, kids had pastas, I had smoked salmon eggs benedict. All food was fresh, hot and very yummy. Though we didn't have the pizza and looked really good, I think we will try it next time.

Christo's was a nice change of pace from all of the great Alki area seafood we had during our stay Gyros, pasta and pizza were all good and fresh

We only got drinks here to walk the beach. No dining for us but you can eat here as well. A very friendly bartender served delicious drinks. Great location right across the street from Alki beach

My family and I decided to try out this awesome place on Alki Beach! We had the best breakfast ( sausage Benedict, Santorini omelette, and pancakes! and came back for Greek food the next day! We really enjoyed the homemade village Greek salad and the lamb souvlaki! We even topped it off with their homemade baklava! A definite must try!

Was a little nervous in my family of 15 shows for us to go to an Italian restaurant when I am gluten free. Was very excited that they had gluten-free dough and several salads to choose from. They accommodated our family and 15 very well and we had a lot of fun.

You will meet the owners. Hopefully, not old man Christo, but his wife and sons. If you have a fussy child, mama Christo will scoop up the baby and have it asleep -- how's that for customer service? She doesn't just take care of the baby's family, by doing so, she takes care of all the non-child rearing customers. Breakfast is the best thing here. HUGE portions, standard fare. Lunches aren't bad, but pretty inconsistent. When you can't get into Duke's next door, this place will fill the void -- and wet your whistle -- with the same great view and cheaper prices.

Great breakfast on Alki beach.. It's locals and tourists grabbing a bloody and a Greek omelette. It's fast Family owned so MamA greets you be son Johnny serves you the mimosa. Good food and good people

The food here is the usual pizza and pasta fare, but it is hard to enjoy because the entire place is really worn and old looking. I'd even say a bit on the dirty side (carpet needs to be vacuumed more often). Our server was nice, but she did not look very put together, in fact, she looked like she could use a shower-sorry. The men sitting in the small bar area at the entrance are sad looking, even lonely. There are too many pizza/pasta options in the area for this to be ignored-we will not be going back.

We went to this restaurant because it had good reviews and a decent breakfast menu - without prices however. Once there, to see breakfast dishes an average of $15.00 - well, we'd started with coffee so felt we couldn't necessarily leave after we saw the prices. Food was not up to the price.

The food here is incredible & the staff is equally amazing! Family owned for 20 years and you will usually always see Mama & Papa helping seat tables & clean up! Very local feel & they will always remember your name! Seems like this place is a local's staple on the beach!

Ready for dinner, we found a parking place right in front usually reserved for the owner but were told we could park there. So we ate there. For starters, seeing crystal-type stemmed water glasses and quality paper napkins adds class. We opted for a veggie pizza and split a regular size Caesar salad. The salad was good and crisp. The pizza looked awesome, thick with olives, mushrooms, green peppers, mozzarella, onion and topped with 8 ripe tomato slices, one for each slice. Superb flavor! Our server said that the owner makes all the pizza crust, sauces and salad dressings. Delicious. Across the street from the water, we watched the action of people enjoying Alki and cruise ships departing for Alaska. Spot Christo's by noticing the colorful hanging flower baskets and ground flower pots. Summertime the garage doors open to bring the outside in and next time we'll eat on the deck that overlooks near and far.

The food and service are basic, but the view of the Sound with ferries crossing and snow covered mountains in the background is amazing. Especially on a beautiful sunny morning.

My daughter and I were staying at a vacation rental within walking distance to Alki Beach and wanted to try a new place. The hostess and waitress were very friendly and made us feel like old friends. As it was St. Patrick's Day they had a corn beef and cabbage special but that didn't appeal to us. We started with an appetizer of clams which was fabulous. The fresh bread was great as well. We couldn't resist the pizza after seeing one at an adjacent table. I went for Nikolas Special of chunks of pepperoni, olives, artichoke hearts, and cheese-very good! My daughter went for the regular cheese pizza not the 4cheese one and loved it. The leftover pizza was just as good for lunch the following day.

While visiting West Seattle, my husband and I returned to Christo's. We have enjoyed the open deck in the past but the cool, drizzly weather meant an indoor dining experience. It was a quiet evening, but the food was just as good as we remembered. We started with the pita sampler, plenty of fresh warm pita wedges with 3 dips: hummus, tzatziki and garlic. All were yummy. I ordered the chicken Souvlaki with greek salad - 2 kabobs of chicken, served with greek salad, pita & tzatziki sauce. Very flavorful. Husband ordered a calzone, it was HUGE, stuffed with toppings. Server was a personable young man. We took plenty of leftovers home. We will visit again!

Best pizza in town, get anything with sausage on it.

Mom and pop owned - actively. "mama" is always there with her sons working. You don't see that much anymore. Awesome location. No portion controls, just honest meal at a reasonable price. Calamari is heavenly. Pizzas are great. We love the weekend vibe for brunch. Full bar and strong drinks. A locals feel but gets crowded in Summer as you can imagine.

I wasn't sure what I was getting in to, but after reading a few reviews, I thought I would give Christo's a try. I am happy I did. Located right on Alki Beach, this is a neighborhood bar/restaurant. My favorite kind of place. My sense is that I was the only tourist there. Family owned and operated. Mom and daughter were both serving on Sunday morning. Since it is a Greek restaurant I asked for a recommendation of their favorite Greek breakfast. They suggested, and I chose the Santorini – “Straight from Greece” Gyro Meat, Onions, Tomatoes, Olives, Spinach, Feta, with a side of Tzatziki. Hot and fresh, it was outstanding. It also had hash browns which were crunchy, just the way I like it. Considering the Alki location, and the quality of food and service, I was surprised they were not busier. Hopefully it was just my good fortune to be there during a lull in their business because this place is too good to not be packed.

What a great pizza...you actually get a pizza, not just the crust! and the full bar is awesome, there is even seating outside to look at the beautiful view of the ocean! They have a friendly staff as well :)

This is a sports bar-type place in Alki Beach, and features a ringside seat to the majestic views of one of the best drags I visited in Seattle. The food was good, although my meaty calzone was made in some west coast variant, with a harder crust and no ricotta. That hardly makes it a legal calzone, but it was tasty and filling. My wife had the fish, which she says was cooked competently and tastily.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the pizza served here. Nice selection, with modifications to you pie available upon request. Front of restaurant faces Puget Sound. Spend the day walking along the beach then stop in and enjoy. Full service bar at a very reasonable price. Check out the Happy Hour.

We were looking for a dinner place to enjoy beachside dining and good food, this fit the bill. We were pleasantly surprised with the food at Christo's, and I am pretty sure that we were seated by the lady who is pictured in earlier years on the front of the menu! Happy hour is from 3:00-6:00 and we were able to squeeze in a drink and appetizer order at the last minute. Their pita bread and hummus disappeared in minutes, I'll be going back for more sometime! I had gyros, that were very tasty (even after my five year old son stole all the meat out of it!) with Greek fries (fries with herbs and feta), my husband had marinated chicken on a skewer with pita bread and a Greek salad (souflaki?), while the boys both had kid sized pita bread pizzas. Everything was very good and disappeared. My husband was craving more of Christo's Greek salad the following day... Next time we will try the pizza (recommended to us by our waitress for our next visit), they make their dough daily in house. The one delivered to the table next to us smelled AMAZING! The seating isn't outdoors, but on nice days the doors roll up and inside becomes outside :)

Pizza was good, service was very slow waited over 45 minutes for a pizza.not the way I wanted to spend a nice sunny day.

Best ever Tzatziki Sauce! (Gyro's a must have.) Great variety of Pizza and the Calzones are colossal. Mama, Papa, Pete, Petro & John will make you feel at home....a home you would want to be part of! The food is delicious and the view is amazing. Christo's is a favorite; not just for the food, but also for the family....Dee-lightful!

Very friendly. How could any one say otherwise. Always greeted with a smile. Meet new friends every time we go there. Thanks Christo's. :)

We could not get a table on the upper deck to watch the sunset, but went back for dinner after sunset to enjoy the breeze and the beautiful view. Though the sign says "no one under 21 on the patio." The owner graciously allowed my teens to go up. This was the first indication of the excellent customer service provided in this unpretentious restaurant. I don't actually remember what we ordered, just that everything was fresh and delicious and very reasonably priced. Very highly recommended

Christo's at Alki has a friendly and helpful staff where it is easy to get a table and the food comes pretty quickly. Having eaten here many times the problem is one of consistency. Not sure if they change cooks often but it is really hit and miss as to whether the item you enjoyed before is going to meet expectations or not........a crap shoot

Breakfast on Alki Beach with a bit of a view was what we sought. There was a baby involved, so there was that to consider. We found the place for having all of that. Luckily, there was a small room off the main dining area so that we could get a little space and a quieter setting. The door to the outdoor dining area was left open and we enjoyed a quiet, beach oriented brunch. The food was good American fare. It was well done and most enjoyable. The wait staff were friendly and helpful to the young family in our party. The owner came by to play with the baby. We wondered why we had not frequented this place more often. We are looking forward to the next time.

This place belongs to a buddy and fellow restauranteur. They open this location after being located up on California Avenue and the Admiral Way before their father retired. A Greek family that puts out Homestyle Greek Fusion cuisine. Is more notably recognized as a fine place for the bar scene and you can't beat the location. I feel like home every time I walk in this place cuz he's guys stop what they're doing and come to say hi to me. It's been almost 30 years and they still treat like the guy next door. You have to love them

My husband and I split the spanakopita and salad last night for dinner, it was delicious and very filling. They also had a very good beer and cider selection. We ate at a Mexican restaurant a few stores down tonight that wasn’t as good as Taco Bell..... We’re here for drinks now, which we’d done dinner here again!

We went for a Sunday morning breakfast, relatively early, and were pleased by the Greek family atmosphere and service. Brew coffee, but refilled. View is great, if you get a window, and there is a good range of breakfast items. Reasonably busy for the time of day and did not feel rushed. Wide range of drinks available but was breakfast so did not try.
Just stopped in for a snack
We stopped in here for a quick bite. It was not busy and we were sat by the window. We ordered the chicken wings and the Greek appetizer sampler. Our food was very good. The view was beautiful. Definitely a small business as the owner was yelling at a pedestrian who just came into use the bathroom.
