Korean pork taco is pretty awesome, fried chicken is legit, Kobe beef noodle is ok It is pretty good overall but pricey By the way, the music is kind of loud

Fresh Alchemy..

By yukongold86 |

Homemade kimchee, solid poke & chips, fried chicken, lemongrass noodle bowl, local ipa, rap music, open kitchen, lots of "till sold out" items, smart alchemy of elements

DELICIOUS! cool hangout, great food, real buzz.

By JesBreslaw |

We were brought here by a local, and some of our colleagues' questions the wisdom, but we loved it. Sure it's a young area but the food was so good. We had to queue for 30 mins (sat night) but you could have a beer while you wait. I'd definitely pop by again.

Delicious fusion asian food.

Disclaimer: I didn't actually go to the restaurant itself so I cannot comment on the service in the restaurant or the ambience of the restaurant. I was checking out UberEats and Chubby Noodle had caught my eye. We had ordered the spicy garlic noodles, papaya salad, cucumber salad, kobe beef chow mein and also pork belly bao sliders. The food had arrived in proper containers excepts for the spicy garlic noodle which was in an asian take-out container - the reason why I am mentioning this is that so many restaurants use poor quality containers that doesn't hold up the food or has the sauces spill everywhere in the paper delivery bag. The spicy garlic noodles are the highlight of the meal! We also really enjoyed the other dishes as well. Hubby's favourite was the kobe beef chow mein. We tried to order them again the next day on UberEats but however they are not open for lunch on the App.

Veeeery nice!

By Narcisa D |

I ate the garlic noodles with chicken at the girl's recommandation and it was awesomeeee. Also the pork tacos are very good and I usually don't like pork. Good work guys!

Very tasty food

By Dimitrivaz |

This is one of Kat's favorite places, so she insisted on taking us there for dinner. It did not disappoint! We started with garlic shrimp noodles and long beans. Perfect with a microbrew! But the most incredible dish by far was the Korean pork tacos! They are out of this world! Very satisfied when we left. Keep in mind the place is small, it's very noisy, and the wait can be long. Still worth checking out.

Excellent noodles

By natclay |

We ordered take out and had a drink at the bar while we were waiting. Food was fantastic and well priced, wine was a little expensive. Great noodles and rice dishes.

Take out on a Saturday night

By ontheroadagain1434 |

With two hungry teenagers, a two hour wait wasn't going to work. We ordered takeout, walked around the neighborhood for thirty minutes, then picked it up and ate at home. It was a sweatbox inside, so I think we were better off with takeout in any event. Food was really good, but not the best ever, so I would not recommend that long a wait for it given the city's many options.

Dim Sum Brunch

By jegnm |

We came for the Dim Sum Brunch on a Saturday morning (Chinese New Year). Good thing we had a reservation as the small place was full. You have 90 minutes for all you can eat and drink. It was well worth it. Staff was very friendly and efficient. We were served Asian fusion food at just the right pace. We tried about 12 of the 15 items on the menu, some more than once. Dumplings, noodles, green beans, shrimp, Peking Duck, BBQ wings to name a few. Sangria and mimosas were a little disappointing but Sapporo beer was good. Sake is extra. We had a great time!

Delicious Noodle!

By BangkokSachse |

The Noodle Marina is near our hotel. We parked our car in the front of the restaurant. We ordered beef noodle and chicken noodle. The noodle was delicious. The staff were friendly. Please make sure that your car is empty if parking on the street in San Francisco.

Korean tacos are the best

By Woutst |

Had a great evening with friends while visiting San Francisco. The best part was eating Korean Tacos and drinking huge cans of beer and a lot of Soju. 100% will eat here again.

Super tasty, good prices, loud!

By Jkwusa |

Saturday night with friends, this turned out to be a great idea. We snuck in with 6; lucky as it turned out since the line quickly formed after we were seated. Interesting menu that mostly leans towards Thai, but westernized SF style. Prices surprisingly reasonable, esp for SF, and almost all of the dishes were delicious. The kitchen is open and fun to watch- but every time the cooks threw some peppers in the wok, the whole restaurant was coughing a minute later. Sort of funny, but probably indicates a ventilation issue. Much bigger issue was the noise- it's a very young (Marina) crowd, quite festive. But forget about having a conversation. Couldn't hear a thing, including the waiter.

Good food, fun night

By Peili2 |

Noisy and good fun place with very good food. Both food and atmosphere make a great combination for a great evening. Will repeat!

They have Sake on Tap!!

By MaximeSuisse |

The foood is Korean with hints of Japan, They have Sake on Tap and large Asahi beer (1 liter) The food taste very good with interresting flavors but nothing to get you mind blown away. Family style dishes in which everybody shares. It was fun, maybe a bit tooo noisy. It's an up and coming place

Middle of the road

By sboroski |

I think they play the music so loud at Chubby Noodle to distract you from the lackluster food. Most dishes we've tried have been way to salty and spicy. Even when I asked for less spice to be added it was too much. Probably trying to hide the fact the food is so blah

Great Asian

By Max M |

Great Service & Great Asian food - recommend Fried Rice, Green Beans, Fried Chicken & Garlic Noodles (add beef or chicken).

Fusion noodle with rap on the side

By Bruiser |

A great find - try the beans, pork tacos, fried chickens and ribs with a couple of glasses of pinot ... what more can i say

Great food, I enjoyed the atmosphere

By Henry J |

Excellent food for reasonable prices, reasonably trendy style with a generally young clientele. Fast friendly service. Unfortunately no name outside makes it difficult to find.

Great for large groups

By Ben S |

Amazing and unique food! Our group had 6 people so we got a lot of the plates to share and it was amazing. The vibe was good and fun. I am a huge fan of the tacos!

Great atmosphere & spicy food.

By Ishootforthegram |

Overall the experience we had here was outstanding, the vibes are great love the hip hop music always playing. It's a small cozy location. Only complaint we had was when selling the waitress if there was any possibility to not make the noodles too spicy she said sure not a problem! Boy those were the spiciest noodles we ever had. None the less they tasted great. It's a little expensive but worth it. The drinks were also very very good! We had the Dirty Lola and the Dino-Bite lemonade

Great food and location!

By cancuncrazyI |

We were looking for a good Asian restaurant close to our hotel and found this place. We called for a reservation but was assured that the time we were wanting, we didn't need one. Got there and got a little two seat area. It's not a large place. Upon receiving our menu we were given a couple of recommendations which we thought looked good. We had the Garlic Noodles with fried chicken and the Korean Pork tacos. We shared both of these dishes While we waited, we ordered a flight of Sake and were somewhat surprised at how mild they were since our previous experiences with Sake were very strong. The Garlic noodles and Pork taco's were almost more than the two of could finish. Service was great, food was awesome. With our entree's, Sake flight and a couple of beers our tab was $68. Make what you will of that. Probably not that expensive for SF and the food was great and unique. We would do it again.

Not your mama's noodle house!

By Jane K |

We visited Chubby Noodle in the Marina for a quick bite in the city and we were pleasantly surprised on many different levels. Kind of weird that we didn't see the name of the restaurant on the outside anywhere but the signage says it all. For one, parking was easy and convenient. Two, the host (hostess for female, host for male) greeted us with a great smile and offered us a drink while waiting for our other guests to arrive. Three, menu was short and sweet. Fun tapas, delicious food, well portioned. Four, service was quick and the staff knew what we ordered and what was still coming out of the kitchen. Fifth, great music! (ask to sit away from the speakers though, gets kind of loud) We had a large group so we pretty much had one of everything on the menu. With that said my favorite item was the Korean pork tacos. Must try.

Finally some Asian flavour in the US

By John W |

We stumbled upon this great little spot at 10pm. Looking for a snack to finish off the evening, we went where the noise was coming from. What a great find!! I guess living in Australia we are spoilt with great Asian food, but it has been hard to find great full flavoured Asian in the US. This great little spot has a fabulous atmosphere and more importantly amazing, wonderful smelling and sensational tasting Asian food. We had the beans, ribs and chicken wings. We thought we had over ordered, but somehow managed to clean up the plates and then started mopping up the sauce with our fingers. Seriously, if you like good Asian food with a kick and flavour make the trip here!

Beat Asian food in cabo

By Michael |

Super fresh and tasty, fair pricing, and everything is above average. Dine in Or take out. Guaranteed

Delicious food, great portions

By Maura E |

I thought I was hungry when I went in, but I could only eat about half of my food. It was amazing and fresh and really hit the spot.

Maximum brunch time jams!

By arehay |

I can't tell you how much fun we had here at brunch! The tunes, the atmosphere, the food, the booze and of course the company! We worked our way through the whole menu and were never met with disappointment. The simple yet fun beverage program kept us lubed up for a morning of laughs. Hip, great tunes, solid staff, a must hit for the epicurean. Not a place for a quiet brunch

Tasty but crowded

By NiniAPB |

We went during weekday and luckily there was no queue. The window seat was nice but felt cramped. Waiter told us this place is encouraging customers to share all the dishes. The slat and pepper shrimp and Korean tacos were the highlights. It was not cheap but kind of reasonable price for the taste and location.

A-mazing!

By sassyhippychick |

After a day of travel and such my girlfriend and I were h-angry. We checked out our area and found a funky little shack pumping out the music and mouth watering smells. In we went and discovered a menu to enjoy! Great staff, fun atmosphere and incredible food. A must have is the garlic noodles, I can taste them right now. Go Chubby Noodle - you won't regret it!

Spicy Garlic Noodles are Worth it

By Faylene |

Reservations are a must and they require credit card to hold. Then will only hold your table for 5 minutes so don’t be late ! The food was very good. The waiter said it was family sized portions but I disagree. It was definitely single serving sizes. Wine list was minimal but we managed. Ordered spicy garlic noodles, fire cracker wings and sticky ribs. Spot has inside booths and outside tables.

Best (non brunch) brunch ever!

By Sue B |

Delicious. Delightful. Staff, cocktails, and cuisine are fantastic. Great music. Most amazing nontraditional brunch. Food and drinks kept coming. Our server was a darling.

Not fancy but great food

By tbkberg |

Love it the fried rice was excellent loved the pork tacos I person in our party had the chow mein another had the garlic noodles You can't go wrong very good reasonable priced too

Just what we were looking for

By MrsW27 |

As other reviews say the food is great as is the service - it's a basic kinda place so if you are looking for something up market this place is not for you. That said it was just what we were looking for after a long day driving. Service was quick and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again if we return to San Francisco in the future.

Good quality food, cheap & quick

By NP Elgin |

These guys know what they are doing.. delicious food that they prepare quickly. You can have nice Sake and some Appetizers while you wait for your food.

Great noodles and beer

By choloAlicante |

This is a small and great noodle bar. Bbq fried rice was excellent and the beer was cold. From the great hostess to the bartender, everyone was great

Korean Family Style Restaurant

By Philip M |

The food is served family style and very delicious. A little expensive for a lunch visit, but all the food was delicious. Definitely recommend the pork tacos.

Late night snack

By Michael G |

My friend and I went in for a night cap and a late snack. He's a local and had heard good things about the place. This is a small restaurant, very eclectic and the smell wafting from about a block away were very good. We had the Kung Pow wings with some wine. Everything was very good and we look forward to going back to try more of the menu.

Always great for a quick bite

By Bruiser |

One of my favorites in SF for a quick bite after a day of sightseeing. It only takes an hour, get there early to avoid the wait, order the tacos, ribs and garlic noodles plus a beer and you will be happy. A good option for those vegetarians too if they are with you.

59 dollars for a bottle of sake that retails for 11 dollars

By William M |

Way overpriced place. Ordered a bottle of sake, that was actually pretty good, for 59 dollars only to look up later and find out the RETAIL price was only 11 dollars. That’s the biggest mark up I have ever seen. The food is fine, no big deal, a little greasy but the hipsters in here would t know the difference between good food or bad food. The service is consistently very friendly, welcoming and professional.

Amazing Ahi bowl, spicy noodles app, and tacos!

By John A |

Great selection of beer, small, but delicious quantities of food, some of the best poke I've ever had

Tasty!

By Jessica G |

Got the Spicy Garlic Noodles with Fried Chicken and Fresh Lemonade - Amazing! Really busy on thurs/fri/sat night and small restaurant so go at an off time if you don't want to wait for a while!

Amazing

By alexdrs1 |

First time in San Fran, this restaurant was close to our hotel and had a good rating. We decided to give it a try, and it turned out to be an amazing choice. We went for the house recommedation (don’t recall the names, but i think it was garlic noodles and korean pork tacos) and it was amazing. Will definetely be back.

Tasty (if a little greasy)

By Eric |

Excellent flavors! The Korean pork tacos and duck lettuce wraps pack a punch but lean on the greasy side. The garlic noodles have a homemade chewiness and tend to be bland but the garlic and sauce make up for it. The tuna poke is really delicious with delicate soy and sesame touches. Beer choices are excellent. I recommend the Japanese porter and (Japanese) Belgian ale. Only complaint: Turn down the effin tunes! I don't mind music of any kind at a restaurant but the volume was so ear-shattering that waitstaff had to yell at us and we could barely converse.

This place had gone downhill

By Cameron D |

Used to love this place. Food is still fantastic. But the 90 min all you can eat and drink is more like 60 by the time they get everyone seated. We were waiting at the table for 20 min before anyone came by for a drink order and had last call about 10 min before the time slot was over. Drinks were extremely watered down. Service was okay. Music, though a fun mix of 90s rap, was exceptionally loud for a brunch place. I’ll probably not go again since it’s easy to find delicious dim sum in the Bay and this place no longer offers anything better in terms of service, atmosphere, or drinks.

Awesome noodles

By Nancy J |

Casual and great. Everything we ordered was terrific. We had garlic noodles, salt and pepper shrimp and Korean tacos which were superb. The sound level was brutal - but oh well.

I wouldn't come here again because of the high price and lack of customer service.

By Lily |

The customer service here was awful. The girl serving us was so rude when talking to us, kept mumbling under her breath and sighing. Instantly when we walked in, she looked annoyed she had to serve us. She was walking around the restaurant with the most miserable face, her shoulders slouched, feet dragging and then kept going behind the bar to go on her phone and gossip with the other girl working there. That's the only time I saw her smile. The food was nice way but too overpriced. I wouldn't come here again because of the high price and lack of customer service.

Amazing brunch

By Alicia L |

Perfect place to go for bottomless brunch! Make sure to get reservations ahead of time. Nice staff and delicious food.

2 times withou place

By Jakub P |

We were there 2 times. First time they told us 45 minutes waiting for place. Send time 1 minute and then sorry but 15 minutes. I saw that inside is at least 5 free place. I do not like this style of seating.

Great food!

By JAR1991 |

We came here as a couple following a recommendation from a friend. Food was really good, I would say it's a quick bite restaurant rather than a "dining out" experience. But we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, our server was really helpful with the menu and making recommendations - we had the egg rolls, signature garlic noodles and fried chicken.

So tasty!

By JennifetDaisy |

Much better in the belly than it looks from the outside, really good. Everyone in my party (including me!) wanted to eat here more than once.

Chubby Noodles and Fun

By longbeachCalifornia |

Found this place on TripAdvisor while searching for a Korean restaurant. Menu looked interesting. Reviews positive. So we thought, heck - let's give it a try! Here we go on a menu tour! Tuna Poke - garlic chips were good, but probably store-bought Szechuan Green Beans - too many green beans and just green beans with oyster sauce Korean Pork Tacos - boring - needed hot sauce and lime...maybe salt too - tortillas were good Spicy Garlic Noodles - slimy and not very pow-wow garlic or spice Chubby Fried Chicken - chicken strips, fried, just fried, boring sauce / no flavor Basically - just blah - cute, fun, and fun music -- filled the gut and not pricey, but that's not what I'm looking for with someplace new and unique. Brandy Ho's across the street is more up my alley!

Yummy Asian food party for the belly

By Julie P |

My cousin brought us here for dinner while we were visiting. Our server was very nice and helpful when we asked questions about the menu. We started off with the Korean Pork tacos and the pork and shrimp wontons. Both were delicious. We then ordered the tuna poke which was nice and fresh and served with crunchy shrimp chips. We also got the spicy garlic noodles. They were not too spicy and the garlic flavor amazing. I will definitely go back for the food and service.
