Tha Fajita's are very reasonably priced and more meat than veggies. I had the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and it was delicious. the Boom Boom sauce was great. I will go back again when we are up at Perimeter Mall again.

Heard so much about this place, but when I got there the hype was not worth it. The salsa was good, chips good, meals average. The server was nice, but just average nice. Margareta weak...

We stopped by one afternoon for a late lunch. Their salsa and chips is great. The best part about their food is their sauces. They have a wide variety of sauces to chose from. I had the enchilada and the chille relleno with their red sauce - my wife had the enchiladas. We both loved our food. our 5 year old liked his cheese quesadilla and fries. My wife's margarita was pretty darn tasty too.

We just ordered two dinners this evening, an enchilada with cheese and two soft tacos. Whatever cheese that was supposed to be in the enchilada had melted out and had burned to the aluminum foil. The jalapeno sauce that we requested on the side was not present. Therefore, I basically ate very dry enchiladas with nothing inside, not even sauce. The shredded cheese that was supposed to be part of my husband's dinner for his tacos was no longer shredded but rather a "glob" of melted, stiff cheese. We have been loyal customers and mindful of the need to support our local restaurants during the pandemic, particularly Chuy's. This type of food should be unacceptable There are numerous Mexican restaurants in our greater community and we will give our business to them. I am really shocked that any restaurant would even consider sending out to its customers such dinners. Shame on Chuy’s. You have lost very committed customers. Don't go to this restaurant.

Looking for Mexican and it was Chuys or the other guy. We picked Chuy’s and were not disappointed. Very eclectic inside and the food was GREAT! Has the chuychanga and veggie burritos and we were very pleased. Highly recommend this place and will come back again when in the area! Our server Amy was super too.

Food was yummy when we finally got it. Was There IN Lunch Break And It Took A Little Longer Then It Should have but Once It Came It A as delicious.

This was our first visit for lunch in a weekend. Nice weather and we sat on the patio. Good service. Kids burrito is huge and according to my daughter it was tasty. Custom enchilada was good with a spicy sauce on top. Nice environment and good food. We will return.

Very rude staff bar tender didn’t care we were at the bar sitting never asked to take our order . Bar was dirty.

this is our second time here in past three weeks first time it was great .food ,service but today we had to wait 15 min just to be seated there was 6 adults and two small kids and the place half full.the server maded the different she was great.we ordered the fajitas for onr which me and my wife shared,it was ok didnt come out sizzling like it should have, but the steak was spot on and chicken was also ,so that maked up for it.over all its a good mex spot will try again coule weeks

Had dinner. Loved the fresh salsa. The food was prepared a little different than what we normally see, but good. Nice proportions.

Location: Chuy’s 📍 Dunwoody / Perimeter, GA 📅 Date of incident: November 22, 2025 On November 22, 2025, I ordered takeout from this Chuy’s location for myself, my two children, and a friend. The order included chicken and beef enchiladas with refried beans. While eating, I discovered a foreign object that appeared to be a balled-up napkin or paper material embedded inside the refried beans, completely concealed by the food. This was not visible until I had already begun eating. My children and my friend also consumed food from the same order before the issue was discovered. This experience was extremely upsetting and has caused me ongoing anxiety about eating out, especially when ordering food for my children or sharing meals with others. Finding a foreign object inside prepared food is alarming and raises serious concerns about food handling and safety. I am posting this review to make others aware and to encourage better food safety practices at this location. I hope management takes this seriously so another family or customer does not experience the same situation.

The Food was Great As Usual. But the time it took to get our meals was Way Too Long! I think someone dropped a tray of food and no one ever entered the order in the kitchen again. The manager finally came around an apologized and comped our meal. That Was Great. But this same thing has happened to me at this same restaurant before. I'm not about getting a Free meal. I'm about enjoying a relaxing timely dinner with friends. We were a group of about 8-10. I'll go back, because the food IS GOOD.

Horrible food. Dont waste your time. Taco Bell is even way way better. Food looked bad and tasted worse.

Patio packed. Inside colorful. Depending on the section you are in you'll be in an adult or more family with young kids section. Food is great. Granddaddy's Brew is a great drink to have. Service a but slow. Pricing is very affordable.

When you really enjoy a particular flavor and you know that it comes from only one part of the world, it is extremely difficult to compromise your palate with some imitation or substitute. In Chuy's case, there is no compromise. The exquisite flavor of authentic Hatch, NM Green Chile permeates the delicious cuisine. I had the opportunity to spy the place en route to another Mexican want-a-be restaurant during a recent visit to Atlanta. Boy am I glad I stopped. No fast-food chain meal. Pure unadulterated green chile from Hatch adorned the chicken enchiladas, frejoles and green chile rice. Heaven. Along side an ice cold beer with lime. Fabulous. Now I am looking for more in the Northeast which is like a Mexican food desert when it comes to green chile.

I really like the colorful ambience and the food was definitely good and worth a visit. I would definitely visit again if I’m in the area and probably will visit a location closer to my hometown. It was my first time visiting any location. Very enjoyable.

Had a week's stay in the southeast - St Augustine, Atlanta and central Georgia - and was ready for something, anything, that resembled spiciness and had jalapenos in it. Well, Chuy's was the place. The quality of its Mexican-American fare does not vary from its incarnations in other parts of the country, including Denver. The chips were made the same day, the salsa was spicy without being overwhelmingly hot (not the Minnesota catsup variety found off your grocery shelf!). The chicken fajita meal was quite tasty, and the chile relleno was above average. All in all a good taste treat, even it it was located in an outer rim mall location!

This was our first visit here. We had a large crowd (6 children and 9 adults). The only complaint that I had was it took a very long time for the server to take our order. However, that was understandable considering we had the children (11 and 12 year olds) at one table and the adults at another. The food was awesome and our server did a very good job. I would not hesitate to return.

Three adults went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We had cheese dip as an appetizer, along with the chips and salsa. Two had burritos and one had a chimichanga. You get to choose your own sauce. I felt like there was little meat and lots of beans. 👎🏻 I know they are different from our regular Tex-mex spots, but I wasn’t wowed. The food and service were both just okay. Food did come out hot, but . . . I probably won’t go back.

This was my first time. I ordered the light lunch with taco, guacamole, and cheese dip. With the chips and salsa it was plenty for lunch. Food was tasty and no complaints. Service was adequate. Would probably try again for dinner to truly compare to other restaurants. For lunch I could do just was well at a normal Mexican location.

We visited the restaurant in Dunwoody, Atlanta for dinner. My daughter has been to a restaurant in this chain in Maryland, and really enjoyed it. So, we decided to try it. We were extremely disappointed to say the least. The service was mediocre, and the food was terrible. The steak had a wild, gamey taste to it. This restaurant, unlike any other that I have been to, had no salsa that was worth a nacho.. Avoid this restaurant, because there are many other Mexican restaurants that are much cheaper and well worth the visit.

We stopped by for lunch after a morning of shopping. Our waiter was fantastic! He was so good explaining the menu and actually brought several sauces out for us to try! The enchiladas were delicious. Loved the chips and salsa. Really liked some of the other sauces better than the salsa to dips the chips in. When I’m back in the area, I will dine here again!

We visted with family here for lunch (7 of us). The TEX MEX style food was very good. The service was prompt and the restaurant was clean. The decor was fun. There was a lot of selections from the menu. I would have wanted to try some other dishes too, but only so much time. I would recommend this place. It was great and not too expensive.

Great food and service. Travis was awesome with great recommendations from Travis. My drink never ran empty! Definitely will be back!

We went to Chuy’s for Cinco de Mayo and the service was terrible. All the tables in our section were Seated at the same time so our waiter was overwhelmed. We were seated next to a party of 20 people in the small bay room and it was impossible to have a conversation. The complimentary chips s n salsa were delicious. The Choi’s were temperature hot. The steak fajitas for two was not enough for two.

Went with my coworker for happy hour on Thursday, 1/5. We were greeted by Beau and he was our server. What a great guy? He attended to us and provided excellent service. I will go back because of him!

As Mexican restaurants go, this one was mediocre at best -- not bad, not great. The server was a bit inattentive, made a couple of mistakes, and I didn't feel he gave us the level of service we would receive elsewhere. Our food was average. The atmosphere was more rock-and-roll than Mexican. I won't be back since I have other choices nearby.

I had a nice work lunch here. Service was very friendly, and I enjoyed my food. The menu had many choices, mostly expected from a Mexican restaurant. Chips and three kinds of salsa were brought to the table quickly. I particularly liked the light, crisp chips with the creamy jalapeno. I had the vegetarian combo which was a cheese-stuffed chili relleno and an enchilada. The chili relleno was fried with a crispy coating. It was a little different with the coating than I'd expected and quite good. The enchilada had a nice variety of vegetables. Both were served with standard rice and refried beans. Overall a good choice for Mexican food.

I really like this place. So does my son and husband. Great chips and salsa. Margaritas are good. I like their salads but the boys love the burritos. Staff is always upbeat and friendly.

After enjoying chuy's in Texas I was so glad for me and for Atlanta when one opened here. The menu and even the building reflect what made it a local landmark in Texas. I personally like the steak burrito and chuychanga. Even their refried beans recipe is a head above other restaurants. Thanks, chuy's!

Chuy's is our go to place as our (a bunch of colleagues) hotel is stones throw from this mall. We travelled all the way from London and therefore would like to have something fresh, Tangy and spicy. Greeted at the entrance and seated at the patio. Waiter attended late and so are the drinks despite of our requests. Chips and salsa are really fresh and crispy. Shame they couldn't serve drinks at the same time. Mains are soft tacos - shrimp and fish. Both tastes really good and the shrimp reminded me of velvet tacos in Dallas. Overall decent experience but we went at the last hour of closing and which means all th staff are tired. 3.5/5 is my rating.

This was my first time at this location. To say they were busy would be an understatement. They had a lot of holiday parties. We had to wait a minute but were seated promptly. The server John C was excellent - had a pleasing personality and was right on it. He greeted us immediately. We were there for a business lunch. He took our drink order and brought the chips and salsa. The jalapeno ranch sauce was amazing. The ambience here is festive and very enjoyable. I ordered a chimi with ground beef - it came with beans and rice. It was the best chimi I have ever had bar none. The portions are just enough. The others also enjoyed their food. We were spoken to as we left and asked how everything was. I will be back here - good food, good service, great prices. Keep up the good work !!!

Everyone was very pleased with their meal. The Tres Leche Cake is a must. However, it is large and can easily be shared with 4 or more people.

Went there for lunch and had a baked advocado. It sounded so weird I had to try, and it was actually good. It has default simple mexican plates. Not high cuisine, but if you want fast en enough this is a good place. Decoration is also vacation-like.

This is a great spot for a quick lunch. The outdoor dining is covered and comfortable, while the indoor decor is a great conversation-starter. The menu is typical of a local Mexican restaurant, the staff is friendly, and service fast.

Sunday night dinner outside under the grass roof patio area! Very nice atmosphere and very good food. Tortillas are flour and hand rolled. Salsa is super spicy, with a lot of jalapeño seeds. I asked formulated, which they do not have, but our server did bring a creamy ranch jalapeño, which was not spicy. Chips are made fresh and server did bring refills. Frozen and on the rocks Margaritas were very good. Prices were reasonable, compared to other similar chain Mexican restaurants. We asked if they sold the creamy jalapeño ranch dip, and they do,so we bought an 8 ounce container to bring home and our server gave us a bag of fresh chips to go with it! Great service!!

This place is really unique. It has self serve chips, salsa, cheese dip, and bean dip. They actually have really really delicious food. It also gets really crowded and has a very social environment. Most def worth stopping if you are on the area.

The portions are large. The prices are reasonable. The service is good. There is out door seating, which i prefer, because it can get a little hectic inside.

Had a late lunch Saturday while shopping. Chips were very thin and crispy and came with a spicy, fresh tomato salsa. Lunch came out hot but cooled quickly as the plate was not warm. Pork taco special was good but not spectatular. Chicken flautas were good for frozen food. The server, LoLo, made the differance. She was very personable and interacted well with us the whole time. Great attention to details and good knowledge of the food.

My second visit to Chuys. The chips and salsa were excellent. The food was good not great. Service was good but the waitress failed to bring out our order of guacamole.

I had a big as your face burrito with ground meat; sister had the mucho burrito special with green sauce and pork (I preferred hers to mine!); Mom ordered the Comida Deluxe and my aunt ordered the #4, a choice of chile relleno & enchilada. Since sister lives in CA, we had to get an order of guacamole for the table, and it was delicious. I loved the spicy salsa that came with the chips, but it was a little too hot for Mom. Everybody but me had 2 margaritas, and Mom was buzzed! Everyone said they were pretty strong. Uncle wasn't feeling up to the trip, so he got his choice of everyone's left overs. Service and prices were good, and I would definitely go back. I loved all the colors in the restaurant!

Chuey's is fine. The chips and salsa are fine, the service is fine, the food is fine. You will have a decent dining experience if you choose to eat here. The jalapeno ranch is very good though! Make the most of this dining experience by bringing along some lovely friends!

Heard so much about this place but after this first visit I am surprised...I won't return. Took a very long time before our server appeared and forever before he returned with the chips & salsa. We sat outside and it was not crowded...why the slow service?? I ordered fish tacos and they were not good.

First time eating at a Chuy’s. The place alone was pretty cool with all the random decor. Jalapeño ranch dip is amazing and the chips light and crispy! The entree was good, now I love some cheese but the quesadilla deluxe was super loaded with cheese and kinda sparingly with chicken. We definitely had plenty to take home and still walk out with a full belly. Overall, it is a fun good place to try!

Amazing food quality. We love the ground beef burrito. also, their queso is the best out there… Lots of flavor and it’s not just plain white like many other restaurants.

Living in Austin for 16 years, I had to check out the Chuy's in the Perimeter area of Atlanta during a working lunch. I'm pretty sure Chuy's is Austin based. We got seated immediately. They had an offer that if you can show yourself wearing Chuy's gear (t-shirts), you get a free appetizer. So I showed my daughter wearing her Chuybaca shirt at the Statue of Liberty. We got a bowl of queso and one of the fellas in my group said that was one of the most amazing things he had ever eaten. I had vegetarian enchilada and they were delicious. The chips were as good as in Austin and the quality of the food was top notch as always. Service was good and we got in and out in under and hour at lunch time. I don't think I have ever been able to do that in Austin at Chuy's! One oddball thing is that they call it Chuy's Mexican Café rather than Chuy's TexMex. Maybe they are trying to 'Keep it Weird' in the AGA (Atlanta Georgia). I recommend it!

Weekday lunch times at Chuy's tend to be crowded with office worker bees taking breaks from their cubes. Delicious food. It enjoyed the grilled chicken salad and chose an awesome dressing. The server had brought us a bowl of the jalapeño ranch dressing to use as a dip , in addition to the standard salsa. Loved the dip so much In used it as a salad dressing. My son enjoyed the beef fajitas. Took a taste of the beef and thought it was great. Great service! Only complaint is that the chips are over salted. Other than that, a super place!

Good food at reasonable price. Tracy is the best server. Consistent food. Great margaritas and salsa

Being from Austin, the place where Chuy's originated, I was surprised to see that it had actually grown beyond Texas. It was a nice surprise. Food was great, as was the service. Highly recommend especially to those who long for REAL Tex-Mex! Bonus if you can get there in August when they have their Hatch Chili specials!!

First of all nice decor, good location and fair pricing. Margaritas might be weak on the amount of tequila but over all good place for Tex Mex food in Perimeter area. But examine your bill as they put the suggestive tip of 15, 18 and 20 percent on top of taxes and not for the actual food and drinks served. Why would one tip taxes?

It was "national margarita" night. Sat at the bar and the bartender and servers were all complaining about how busy it was. Really? Margarita was pre-made and weak with a lot of ice, the home made chips were dripping with grease and the chicken in my tacos were bland and soft as if they steamed the chicken. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.

It was okay. A little too chainy for the area. The food was basic Mexican and the Margarita's didn't have a lot in them....

My wife and I visited a few months back and it was good. So, we decided to go again on this trip. The food was good and the server did a very good job. Will be back.

Went in today for my birthday hoping to actually get carded, I got carded only for the server Sheila to say, we were born in the same year. No acknowledgment of the birthday but what an opportunity missed on her part. Second, the busser/food runner placed the fajitas in front of me (not what I ordered) and I said that's for him. He said, I was profiling since you're a bigger guy I figured the bigger meal was for you. WHO SAYS THAT? My meal was the grilled chicken salad, thank you. No manager ever came by to table-touch and since there was no opportunity for recovery while I was there, so here I am. What's sad is that I love Chuy's and these were 2 instances where a training and coaching moment should happen and I pray it does.

The food is made spicy for those who enjoy spicy food. Good portions, well prepared and well presented. Plenty of salsa, chips and drinks were replenished generously. We went with friends totaling 9 adults, were seated right away and served our drinks, plenty of chips and salsa while we waited for our main course. We enjoyed our meal but my spouse had to get used to the spicy dish. Recommend it with caution for those sensitive to spicy food, after all itis a Mexican restaurant.

Visiting some family in Atlanta, they wanted to get together for lunch. Chuy's is one of my family's favorites, so I was fine with their choice. I got a Big-As-Your-Face burrito. It was literally as big as my face... and it was tasty. The hatch pepper chili was awesome! Spicy but not overwhelming. Don't know what the restaurant itself is like, but the food is tasty and filling!

1st time enjoyment and “I’ll Be Back!!” In a wonderfully nice way!! Tech/Mex...The food was amazing BUT the Coffee with the Homemade Creamer @ 3:30 in the afternoon was spectacular and Best I’ve had from a non Coffee Shop ever. (let that sink in) can’t wait too come Back....

This was the first time I had ever eaten at this restaurant and the experience was great. The food tasted really good and the environment was lively. Definitely recommend this place for date night or family celebrations.

As a local, this Chuy’s is one of my go-to places for solid Tex-Mex cuisine. The quirky, laid back style is always fun and the patio is usually a great place to enjoy dinner in the evenings. This visit, I enjoyed the chile relleno’s, stuffed with chicken. Unlike other similar restaurants that only offer cheap hamburger, these guys stuff their peppers with pulled chicken, deep fry them, and top them with a sauce. If you like a bit of spice, I recommend the Hatch Green Chile sauce. I’ve enjoyed several other dishes in the past, including the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Comeda Deluxe, and Elvis Presley Memorial Combo – and can recommend them all if you have a healthy appetite. To finish the meal, I indulged in their tres leches cake – which is the best I’ve had anywhere. However, before trying this desert yourself, I must admonish you that once you do, it will forever dominate your future – calling to you from your dreams. It’s soft, creamy, “sweet but not too sweet” texture and flavor with fresh strawberries are the ideal way to finish a spicy dinner. While the size is generous, I must also caution any happily married couples against attempting to share this dish, as several divorces have probably been triggered over trying to get the last bite. Overall, Chuy’s remains a great local staple for mid-priced Tex Mex with a good patio.

We have been fans of Chuys from living in Texas, ao am glad that there is a location in Atlanta now. We have been here many times since it opened and the food has always been consistent with what we would expect. The nice thing about Chuys is that they have various spice levels available that will even satisfy someone who is not a huge Tex Mex fan. I love the spicier dishes like the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom enchiladas. And especially love the creamy jalapeño sauce.

My husband and I live close to this chuys and have tried on several occasions to give them our business. We have tried sitting at the bar (one visit took over ten minutes to get a beer), sitting in the main seating area (over two hours for two people). Tonight we went into the restaurant, were seated and had the server approach us after waiting for ten minutes only to tell us that he would 'be right back' and NEVER returned. We ended up walking out without any service. Terrible. After four attempts, we will never go back.

We went there for lunch on a Saturday while my wife and I were on a date weekend for her birthday. Michael was our server and he was polite, prompt and friendly. The food came quickly and was delicious. The house salsa is wonderful and hand made tortillas are great. Be sure to order some tortillas to take home.

I met up with my college roommate here to catch up. It was a fun environment! Our server was great! We enjoyed our food! We had no complaints! I would definitely return here again!

Nothing particularly special about this place. The food is good, the menu is easy to navigate and the kitchen cranks out the food reasonably quickly. We sat at the bar, thinking we'd get quicker service on the cocktails; however the bartender didn't really seem to be very motivated. Reasonably priced.

We have been to this location three times and have always had great food and service! We love the chips and salsa!! They are always warm, thin fresh chips and fresh salsa with just the right amount of heat. This time they also brought us a bowl of some sort of sour cream based dip (I believe and should have asked) and it was excellent as well! The portions sizes of the main dishes are huge. Neither my husband or myself could finish the entire plate. If you enjoy spicy food, their hatch green chile sauce is delicious. The margaritas too the meal off and are always good as well! We have always had great service each time we have visited.

The big as your face burrito is not true you can get bigger at Taco Bell and better at La Parrilla the waiter messed up our order. So after waiting for about an hour they come out with 1 bean burrito the salsa was way too hot for

Great selection of Tex Mex food. Service was a bit slow because of the large group we brought along. Manager was sensitive to our situation and tried to accommodate us.

We had dinner here about 3 weeks ago. Stopped in our way home from holiday travels about 8pm on a Sunday night. We were seated immediately at the table we requested outside. We ordered our usual queso and chicken fajitas and the food was great. The server we had was very nice, but she was clearly busy and had too many tables. She was apologetic during her long absences and getting what we needed. She was always friendly and smiling and genuinely tried to take care of us she just needed more help. We have been here several times and the fajitas are always great, but the service is always slow - they never seem to be fully staffed. The people they do employ are great.

The New Mexican martini is legendary! You also must order some creamy jalapeño ranch and use it for dipping. It's delightful! I ordered a bowl of tortilla soup, and it was the best that I've ever had. My husband and I also enjoyed the quirky, eclectic decor.

The only downside to this place is that you'll never want to eat at a diff mex restaurant again. - Portion sizes are gigantic: burritos are really for TWO (only $10); the "fajita for two" is really for THREE (or in my family, for four) ($23.99); the appetizers like the quiso's are adult meal-sized. If you order an app, you'll be able to eat only about a third of your meal - the guac is amazingly fresh and authentic. It costs 6.95 but should be a few bucks more (like at other mex places) - Food comes out fast and straight from the grill, oven, etc with very hot plates; all freshest ingredients; very nicely plated (not sloppy like some mex restaurants); even the refried beans are nicely plated (not sloshed onto the plate) - Very flexible with substitutions on sides - get double mex rice if you don't like beans (like me tho the rest of my family loves them) - Great choice of sauces in a separate menu listing that are included with the meal - Free unlimited refills of fresh, hot tort chips with 2 diff levels of heat for fresh salsa - Free unlimited refills on sodas - fast, attentive service - the only "attitude" you get is "friendly and helpful"; our waiter was in the restroom for a minute and a different server came out to check on us so we wouldn't have to wait for anything - tortilla wraps are all freshly made in an open kitchen area...by a little ole mexican lady (you feel like you're eating someone's mother's cooking! and it tastes just as good) - unlimtied tortilla wraps for the fajita - my family ends up eating about 3times as many wraps because they give you so much for fillings...very generous scoops of fresh guac - two kinds of amazingly seasoned mex rice - sangria is authentic and costs only $5! - really fun creative decor covering every inch of the place with themed rooms; equally festively decorated outdoor dining area too - ample convenient parking; the place is located in a parking lot adjacent to Perim mall and right next to a Barnes & Noble bookstore - great for walking off a full belly of the best mex dinner you've ever had! Hints: - go early! - save room for dessert and just order one per 3 people to share - if you have a kid, order off the kid's menu - the portion sizes are equal to adult sizes at other mex restaurants - unless you don't mind bringing a take-home box of leftovers from the adult menu - even if you don't get the fjitas, ask to try the tortilla wraps! You'll forever think that any other mex restaurant's wraps are inferior

Stopped here for lunch and had just one veggie enchilada. Highlights: Courteous but somewhat slow service - may have been due to lunch rush hour. Tasty and fresh chips with tomato salsa + jalapeno cream - both of them very tasty. The veggie enchilada order came after a long wait - but was piping hot, fresh and tasty.

We stopped for lunch because it was convenient. We asked to sit outside—a great decision. The first impression was a limited menu. But when I saw Chili Rellenos with a choice of fillings, things began to look up. The chips were light and the jalapeño “ranch” dipping sauce was very tasty and not to spicy. The salsa was also very refreshing and flavorful. My chili rellenos were fried just right. The tomotillo sauce another surprise. There was enough food that my wife and I both took home food. The wait person brought us a bag of chips and a cup of all three sauces to take home. A definite place to come back too.

After work dinner and the food was very good. The chips are so good and hot! Our server was excellent really cared about doing a great job. The burritos were very good as well. Good fun atmosphere

There were six of us for dinner. We eat here quite regularly and the food and service is always good and plentiful.

I live in Texas for many years and Chuy's was decent Mexican food. However, this Chuy;s was so bad they make Taco Bell look good. I ordered soft tacos and steak and the meat was so tough I could not eat it. At least the service was good,

Food is awesome and I've always enjoyed this place. Seems like the staff has gotten lazy and half care about their jobs. I'll stay away for a while until they get staff straightened out

Authentic Tex Mex food at reasonable prices. The young kids love to watch as the tortillas are being made. The food selection is great (always need to take some stuff home) and go during happy hour and get to experience the tortillas bar out of the back of the trunk of a car! The bar has everything--Tortillas, ground beef, cheese, salsa and best of all you can go back again and again. If you don't want a full meal just stop for a drink and some chips.

We were delighted to find a Chuy's near our daughters home. Had enchilada stack--excellent, Wednesday special and veggie enchiladas--all very good and more than we could finish. Happy hour in the bar features queso, salsa, refried beans and taco meat with chips --all self serve but free. Only disappointment was NO beer on tap and not much variety in beer. We always look for local micro brews and were able to get a Sweetwater 420. Our waitress was delightful-- her name was Cat and she did an awesome job.

Have had several friends rave about Chuy’s locations in different states but this was our first visit. The staff was great, the food was excellent and the chips & salsa are off the chain. I enjoyed the Stacked Enchiladas and the Chicken Chimi was excellent as well. The staff was very friendly and attentive, adding to a great dining experience.

The food is wonderful and enough to share. I had the steak taco salad and enjoyed the majority of it. They had a variety of choices on the menu for all to enjoy.

The decor is confusing when you arrive. There are 50's diner-style chairs, followed by colored lights on the walls. The outside dining area has parrots and a Carribean feel. Although they were less than half full, the service was pretty slow. The website describes it as Tex-Mex, but none like we've ever experienced. The steak burrito was more dough/bread than the half cooked steak and the "changa" was unrecognizable. We really couldn't enjoy the $6.00 queso, which is usually white or light-colored and tastes like it should: cheesy. Chuy's was very red, very salty queso and sat virtually untouched as it was not edible. Our advice: Skip this restaurant or you'll have to eat dinner up the road when you leave. And that's definitely a waste of money and time.

Mediocre large plates of lower end non-descript Mexican food. Nothing interesting and a menu u have seen 1000 times. Standard fare covered in flavored sauces. Lots of chips and large servings. Reasonable prices.

I enjoy this place and often go there for a quick lunch or happy hour with friends when I am in the area. Definitely nothing fancy but the food is good and the service is descent. A bit on the noisy side. They give the table non-stop chips with salsa and a delicious creamy jalapeno ranch dressing for dipping. (If they don’t give you the dressing, be sure to ask for it.) I love their queso as well but that costs extra. In terms of the food, I am a fan of their chicken flautas, fish tacos, and, if feeling healthy, a nice grilled chicken salad (with the jalapeno ranch dressing of course!) And happy hour will be very happy with their margaritas, daiquris, mojitos, etc.

/Food was great and the service was fast and the food was hot. and Spicy Sitting under the out door hut was fun and the temperature was cool even though it was 88 degree.

I like Chuy's, mostly because thes service is typically so good! It's a pleasure to go there; chips and salsa are refreshed and my server can be counted on to keep my ice tea filled. I also really like the way they do a chilei relleno; they fry it in a crispy coating rather than batter. That said, though, the last one I had was not especially tasty becaise the oil in which it was fried was too old. (It was after 7 PM, but that's no excuse.) My grandchildren love coming here; the kids menu is perfectly sized for them, and the platters come with dessert, "if your parents say yes." They have a variety of delicious sauces - ask for the secret one!

The food is good. The service was excellent today. We had two waiters (one a trainee) and together they did a great job of keeping our drinks (water) full and food was served promptly and taken away when we were done. There was conversation but not too much. Chips and salsa were spot on with flavor and my burrito hit the spot. The décor is a bit quirky, but I like it. We will be back and look forward to it.

We ate here because I love spicy food. Chuys offers may sauces and you can ask for any of them. I got both the green chili and the hatch green chili. First time we ate the Hatch was better second time the regular was better. I had the #2 combo both times, it was better the first night. I will be going back to ATL next month for a tie breaker.

Went on a busy Saturday night and the wait wasn't very long for a table for 3 guests. Food was typical Chuy's food. It was good but did take awhile to arrive. The waitress was friendly and helpful.

The steak they use in their tacos tastes like it's from a steak restaurant. It was seasoned with a great flavor. I enjoyed the beans and rice, too. The service was not that good, so I will not sit at the bar if I go again for lunch.

First time visit to this restaurant chain and have every intention of doing it again. The staff was both friendly and knowledgeable about their menu, suggesting some items we would never have chosen and very glad that we did. The stuffed avocado served on Tuesdays is a absolute must try.

My wife and I dined at Chuy's 8/23/2014 for dinner. We arrived at the restaurant around 7:00 and were seated immediately. They brought us fresh salsa/pico and a ranch type dip with chips. The chips were light and crispy and very good. I ordered the Heavenly Combination which had a chili relleno, which was cooked perfectly, an enchilada made from a chili Frito pie, also delicious. They are served with refried beans and a jalapeno rice. My wife had the Mucho Burrito which she loved. It had a roasted pork filling and a green chili sauce. Our servers name was Lindsey and she was excellent!

I am originally from New Mexico/Texas. I am always searching for real Tex/Mex food. Chuy's is as close to home as I have found in Georgia. Their sauces are to die for and they serve New Mexico green chili (Hatch). I am impressed in their wide selection of dishes. Our server was terrific. All I can say is Yummm!

We usually frequented Chuys in Austin, so we're excited to find this restaurant in Atlanta. I am happy to report it is just as good as the ones in Texas. My husband loves the steak burrito, and I love their queso. Great service, and food.

Sat at the bar, really good food and service. My bartender was Sam and she was great! Lots of options for different drinks and food. Homemade items and sour mix for margaritas!

Excellent customer service, best I've had in years, and the food was also excellent. Everyone smiled and was very polite, food was ordered and came out quickly

We sat with a family of five for 10 minutes without a server even getting us drinks, saying hello, chips, etc. after 10 minutes we walked out. 3 kids were hungry and we left. This was the second time this has occurred. We gave them a second chance and they failed. Never again!

My wife and I really like this place. We come here fairly often for lunch. The service is always good, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is really good. The chips and salsa are complementary. The salsa is one thing I use to judge a restaurant by, and theirs is excellent. They also bring a small bowl of creamy ranch dressing-type sauce, which is a nice contrast to the spicy salsa. The chips are just ok. They don’t add salt to them, they let you do that, if you like. I really like the Baja fish tacos, and their “big as your face” chicken burrito, and the Elvis Presley fried chicken. It’s all good. They have an interesting decor. One whole room is dedicated to paintings that were done by a Mexican artist. They are pretty weird. The paintings are (we deciphered) of dreams the artist had. He was a pretty prolific painter, if nothing else. It’s worth a look. Good restaurant. We really like it.

This was a real fun place to visit and the food was great. So happy to be getting one in Chattanooga!!

The waitress was great! The food was wonderful! It was clean and we didn't have to wait on a Friday night for a party of 6!

I have been a fan of Chuy's for many years. Love the creamy jalapeno sauce, and the boom boom enchiladas. The food is usually very good!! The decor is very interesting and you will find every restaurant will be different. Service was very good this visit as was the food. Had the baja tacos and they were right on!

Having been a long time fan of this chain, I write this review based on the overall experience today. First let me say the service and being outside we’re both amazing. The service was the best I have ever gotten at any of their locations. What was very underwhelming was the limited menu, lack of salsa selection and at lunch there was no discounts or specials. I am not a fan of chunky tomato salsa which they now serve. You can request jalapeño ranch which is very calorie heavy If you are looking for a great place to drink with a limited selection of food this would be a great choice

we went today total 12 of us 5 cpls My wife birthday treat for all my friends. Very bad serviced we order first round drinks server inform us bar person on beak. we get first round after 20 minutes. we did order 2 more rounds same story server come out us every few minutes sorry for your drinks delay. Today they weren't busy at all mall was close. spend money different place. I personally get up and went to see MGR talk to him about drinks order at end he didn't bother to come to table.

I didn't expect much because it was a quick bit. However the waiter didn't tell me the sala was hot and I nearly choked for my life.

Bottom line: this is my favorite place for Mexican food For me, dining out is about the food, décor, and service. Let's cover all three. DECOR: I started here because a good first impression starts my meal experience off on a positive note--I am happier in a place that is visually appealing. This place is cute and fun. It doesn't feel like a big chain restaurant because of the many different rooms. Cons: it is loud FOOD: I love the food here. My favorite is the Chicken and Cheese Chile Rellenos with the jalapeno dip on the side. It comes with two large stuffed chilies that have a tasty fried coating. Some of my friends love the Chica-Chica Boom-Boom Enchiladas (Boom-Boom is the sauce). Speaking of sauces, they have several. I absolutely love the jalapeno dip and it goes good on everything in my opinion. I request it with the chips and alternate it with the great salsa. I also love the fajitas and can get two meals out of one serving. Cons: The refried beans are just okay in my opinion. SERVICE: I have always had friendly wait staff that took good care of me. Cons: The service is slow at times. The chips and salsa generally arrive in a timely manner but the main meal can sometimes take longer than I think it should. Parting thoughts: I would rather wait a while for good food in a noisy place than have quick mediocre food in a dark, boring place. After all, eating out should be a social experience; otherwise, get take out.

Extremely surprising‼️Had a friend in town and decided to go to Chuy’s since it’s close and Christmas traffic was a nightmare. I was definitely surprised by the decor, but even more so by how delicious the food was. Service was excellent and now I’m hooked. I had the Chuychanga and my friend had enchiladas. They brought out chips and salsa. The chips were warm, the salsa 🌶 spicy hot. They had a jalapeño dip which was AMAZING...not particularly hot, but more mild in flavor, but scrumptious just the same. I plan to take my grandkids, cause I’m sure they’d get a kick out of the scenery. I will be returning‼️

Even though my wife and I do not live near Chuy’s, we have been there many times. We always enjoy Chuy’s! The atmosphere and décor are really cool! The staff and manager (Bryan) are excellent! Everything on the menu is terrific! The chips and salsa that are served when you are seated are so amazing, the salsa is the best! They will also give you jalapeno ranch dip with the chips – my wife’s favorite with the chips. Chuy’s uses Hatch Green Chiles which taste fantastic (they even have a Hatch Green Chile Festival annually!) – I got addicted to Hatch Green Chiles during our trips to New Mexico. Whenever our New Mexico friends and other friends come to town, we go to Chuy’s. We love the Stuffed Avocado which is available on Tuesdays – so delicious! The Tortilla soup is incredible! The Tres Leches dessert is utterly out of this world – wow! We were so happy when Chuy’s came to Atlanta in 2011, and we have been eating there ever since. My wife and I always enjoy our outstanding lunches and dinners – thank you Bryan and Atlanta Chuy’s! I should have written this review earlier – our visit to the original Chuy’s in Austin made me realize even more how special Chuy’s is.

Living in Texas, Chuy's is one of our favorite restaurants. While traveling to Atlanta, we stopped at Chuy's and was not disappointed. When eating here, you must order the creamy jalapeño and the queso! It is amazing! I have tried almost everything on the menu and it is all delicious!

Great, fresh food. Grilled chicken salad is delicious. Sampled some of my companion's fajita beef, which was super. Very loud during weekday noon lunch hour, but quieted down after 1 PM.

I have a Chuy's near my home, but my friend had never eaten there. The patio was decorated with a Mexican theme. It was a great night to eat outside. Food as excellent. Friendly waitress. Would highly recommend.

Had lunch with a team of 8 from work. It is good, basic Mexican. The service was good and we were seated right away. Be aware there are some religious themes, which is odd for a work lunch. Everyone liked their meal, but there is better Mexican food in the area.

I have eaten here a few times - I go for lunch and go early - they get busy. I took a colleague there - I really enjoy their food. You know what you will be served. We had Pamela M, as our server she was right on it - very friendly and wanted us to have a great experience. The GM sat us when we arrived - he was personable and was glad we were there. They brought the chips, salsa and the jalapeno ranch sauce for dipping - the chips were hot. We ordered our drink - I had sweet tea. For lunch I ordered the chimi with ground beef with double rice and ranch sauce. It was very good served in a timely manner and was hot. All the staff spoke to us - welcoming us to the restaurant. Large portions for lunch - great experience. I will be back here again. Best Mexican food in the Perimeter area !!! Join there Frequent Fan Club buy six and the seventh entrée is FREE.

The food here is very good and just like being in San Antonio for us. I prefer the yellow cheese enchiladas and these are great.

We love going to Chuy's as we love the menu items. Love the creamy jalapeno dip with chips. Love the random decor in any Chuy's restaurant. The food on this visit was excellent as usual. Had the chicka chicka boom boom tacos, and my husband ordered custom enchiladas. The thing I love about this restaurant chain is you can have the food milder, or very spicy. So it suits a large variety of folks! Love it!!

I went to dinner with a group of former coworkers and it did not go well at all. We had 15 guests in our party, but they started off trying to seat us as three separate tables. When we asked if we could have tables pushed together, it seemed like a huge hassle. The lady who seated us tried to make it work, with almost no help from any of her colleagues; someone eventually helped after more than 5 minutes of us moving tables for her! Our server was very nice, which is the only reason they don't get one star from me. Everything else about the experience was simply bad. The menu is lacking compared to similar restaurants. I ordered a quesadilla, which was basically 4 small soft tacos with melted cheese. My "margarita" tasted like sour mix with a splash of tequila. When I complained about the drink, the manager came and told me the drink was fine and insisted that they make the recipe with fresh limes. I can't prove otherwise; I can only say it sure didn't taste like it. He said he could charge me extra for more tequila, so I asked for a Corona instead. He was nice enough to agree, then bring me a Corona Light- not what I asked for but okay. Out of 15 guests, maybe 2 of us were actually satisfied. My friend, who sent her meal back without replacing it, felt so bad for recommending the place to me. The only reason we stayed was because we were all from all over town and I didn't want to make a last minute change. We should have gone somewhere better. In all the years I'd been curious about this place, now I know this: I will definitely NOT return!

I stopped here as wondering why in some citys chuys was full of people, and after my dinner, i still wonder, soup tortilla was bad too salty, i asked for soft tacos w/corn tortilla and they bring flour, they changed it and then the tacos arrived COLD, they heat them up, taste is not good. Not representative at all of mexican food, maybe tex-mex.

The food and service is average. I really have no complaints about the service but nothing really stood out about it either. The food was your typical Mexican fare with nothing really special on the menu. It tasted average for Mexican food. It is very hard to praise or criticize the food here, it is filling and what you might expect from a Mexican restaurant. The decor is top notch and really quirky. I went around and took a few pictures of the place and no one seemed to mind. The waitress says that everyone takes pictures because of how different it actually is. It is more than worth it to come in for a meal and then take a wander around to see what you can find. There are many nooks and crannies to explore and find something different.

Service is great, the plates are good size so I always share with someone. The chips are warm and love the salsa. Try the avocado dip, really just go ahead and order you some to take home with their fresh tortillas. Delicious.

If you want real Tex-Mex this is the only place in Atlanta that you will find it. Straight from its founding restaurant in Austin, the menu stays true to its roots and offers the real deal. Finally, for us transplants, a taste of home!

Came in with a group of 4 and service was very slow. Waitress was super friendly but seemed in over her head with too many tables. Food was average at best. All the food seemed over cooked like it had sat under a heat lamp for way too long. Food presentation was good which made the taste even more disappointing. Will not be coming back.

Came in late. 3 for 3 of us very happy and impressed with our meals. Welcomed by great hostess Lauryn. Service great by Andrew. Manager (mike) came over to help one of us on a high protein low carb diet. He explain that everything made after order and they’ll just make us happy. Custom made salad was perfect. Go here be happy.

If you love tex-mex, this is the place for you. When my family travels, we always seek out a Chuy's because the consistency is always there. The service is always excellent, quick and delicious food. Friendly staff. Great experience all around with a great environment for couples or families.

A great place to have some Mexican food. The waiters are extremely nice; thank you to Rone who served us. The kids and adult menu have a variety of choices. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. I loved eating there and would definitely come back.

I was in the area looking for a restaurant to meet my son and his girlfriend for a late lunch and came across Chuy's. We sat on the patio which is great because it is covered. The food was good and very reasonably priced. Our server was attentive but didn't bug us. The best part was that dip! I don't even know what it was but it was delicious. I like their chips too because they are very light and a little salty.

Another great visit to Chuy’s. Ample portions. Boisterous atmosphere. Kid-friendly. Covered patio dining if you’d like to eat outside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Chuy's. It has a fun atmosphere (Think palm trees, big bar, tiki hut patio) and the food is very good. I was particularly, and happily, surprised by the house margaritas. We usually get top shelf but the house margaritas are perfect. Our service was very good, although I've heard it can be slow on packed Saturday nights. Can't wait to go back.

I've been to other Chuy's locations in other states and have always liked the food. However, this location just had a tired feel to it. The tables and floors seemed a bit dirty. I watched one of the staff do his bathroom inspection - and then went to wash my hands only to find that there was no soap in one of the dispensers. Not a good sign. But, the food was good. But, there are too many options in the area to tolerate mediocrity...

The chips and salsa were tasty and my soft taco lunch was delicious. Service was delightful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I ordered the Cobb salad which was huge. It was enough for two people. Wish I would have shared with someone. Our server was very very slow. She didn't bring napkins, salad dressing or refill our drinks until we flagged her down to do so. She didn't bring our bill until again we flagged her down to do so. She seemed pretty disinterested about helping us. Lastly, three of us paid with cash and when she brought our tickets back, there was no change. She said that she didn't have change and rounded the bill to her benefit. One person's bill was $10.25 and she rounded it to $11 instead if $10. Mine was $9.69 and she rounded it to $10. Seemed like a scam to me. The food was good though.

While this place looked really cool, it left a lot to be desired. I went here with my daughter. Our waiter was sweaty and always talked about how busy he was when he came to the table to take the plates he asked me to help him and clear and pile the plates and hand them to him. We waited for over an hour for our food and while the food presentation was nice. When I bit into the steak soft taco the meat was very chewy and had too much fat on it and over spicy to cover up the lack of flavor. First, this place needs to train their staff properly. I worked in the industry for 15 years and I would never treat a customer this way. I'm very disappointed and I would not recommend this place. Go to Moe's at least they welcome you with a smile!

Staff was nice. Food good - typical of the Chuy's visited before. If you want good Mexican food, this is place to go. It was very busy at 6:00 pm but only a very short wait.

We’ve been to many chain restaurants, this chain has very average food. They load you up with tortillas in every dish ! I had the steak burrito & at least 1/2 the plate was filled with empty tortillas. My husband had SW enchilada. Not any flavor to the chicken in the dish. Just a lot of tortillas on the plate covered in sauce. They make the dishes look really impressive, but don’t have much too them except filler! My suggestion is to try a different restaurant. The service was excellent by our waitress, Kim! Hostess was so-so.

We ordered from Chuy's for the first and last time. Not only was the chicken in the burrito dry, but the sauce on top may have well just been a layer of salt. I ate a quarter of it and gave up. That night, I was sick as well. Needless to say, we will not be eating here again.

Best bang for the buck Tex Mex around. Gluten free chips. Great service. Love the Chuychanga. Good for my diet that they are not in my neighborhood :)

What a spot! Tex mex is on point! Margaritas are a must! Loved the chicken quesadilla app!! Must come to Chuys when in AtL

This Chuy's does not disappoint. Same great service and same awesome food. The staff was very caring as demonstrated by the manager who came to our table after my niece decided she didn't like her chicken nuggets. He came and asked if there was anything else he could get her, offering to take the chicken nuggets off our bill. He convinced her to eat a quesadilla, for which her mom was very appreciative. Our server was also very attentive and made sure our drinks were topped off, along with our chips. The food, of course, was great!

This chain restaurant has a lot of kudos from Texans. I must go again to see if I missed all the hoopla the first time. I walked away....meh.......

Stopped by on our way through town, because we love our local Chuy's, and we were not disappointed. Sunday afternoon and no wait. Service was fast. Food was hot(temperature) when it arrived at the table. Server even went ahead and brought some creamy jalapeño dip to the table when he brought the chips and salsa. Like we were regulars and he knew we would be asking for it. If you like Tex-Mex, I would definitely recommend stopping in whenever your in the Dunwoody area.

Went on a Monday night and everybody loved their margaritas and the chips were fresh and the salsa had just the right bite to it. Service was good. Food was just alright. Not a lot of taste. I ordered the Boom Boom sauce which was suppose to be spicy...not even a 2 on the scale of 1-5.

My wife and I are making our second visit to Chuy's. This time she ordered the Fajitas for one which was large enough for two. I ordered the Chili Relleno and Enchilada combo. Everything was very good and the server did an outstanding job!

The service of the bar staff is better than that of the restaurant staff, who feel that the purpose of service is to make sure every diner knows how annoyed you are to be at work in the first place. Food is OK and not too Tex-Mex in style, although that's clearly what they are going for.

A delightful chain restaurant, made unique by the crazy decor, this is a great spot for a quick and easy mid-week lunch. Great staff and super-fast service. Eat all your tortilla chips and they'll come around with a new, hot shovel-full for you.

Waited about 20 minutes to get a table. Ordered and got our food pretty quickly. Their chips and salsa were good. I ordered the burrito with the hatch green chili sauce with Mexican rice. My wife ordered the appetite sampler and she enjoyed it. They are opening one of these franchises in Chattanooga and we will try that one when it opens.

We went to celebrate a coworker birthday and both, the manager Justin and our server Pamela went above and beyond! Not only made us feel at home but also the quality of the food and the service were out of this world. Definitely coming back more often. Big shoot out these guys and the team and Chuys!

Chuy's is a safe bet for good food, good atmosphere and decent service. Everything is a safe bet but you have to try the Boom Boom. Creamy jalapeno ranch dip with the chips is amazing. It's the best thing I've ever stuck a chip in. Server kept bumping my chair or rubbing up against me this time which was a distraction during a business lunch but I'm (pretty much) over it. : )

I have loved Chuy's since discovering this Tex-Mex restaurant on a trip to Austin, TX. So, I was thrilled several years ago when they opened a restaurant near my home in Atlanta. I have been to Chuy's many times, whether to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions or just for lunch to enjoy the atmosphere and the consistently good food. I have been a big Chuy's fan. So, imagine my disappointment when my wife and I stopped in for a late lunch, only to find the service lacking (the server was going through the motions, slowly), and the attention to cleanliness non-existent (silver ware and napkins were scattered around and the table and booth were still dirty from the previous diners). When we did get our food, it, also, was disappointing. The creamy jalapeno dip tasted like ranch dressing. The salsa tasted "off." The meals we ordered were mediocre at best. And, though I love refried beans, I hate to say, that was the best part of the meal. Needless to say, either Chuy's just had a very bad day, or Chuy's has started into a decline that will eventually find the store closing. Either way, I'm not sure I will want to take a chance and give them another opportunity to change my mind any time soon.

I have been visiting this location of Chuy's for years, and recently the service has begun to decline. I am proud to say that I will not be back. This last experience was a deal breaker. The best way to get a table at Chuy's is to sit yourself in the bar area at a vacating table. This area is not seated by the host, so it is a first come first serve. Visiting on a slow holiday weekend night, it was easier to get a table from the hostess, though in an awkward location. The table is set right in front of the passage way from the bar to the dining room, so guests and employees continually squeezed past instead of going around. Upon this visit, our table ordered a small dish of queso without jalapeños. The larger bowls are too big to finish for two people, in my opinion and not worth the $7. Waiting an extraordinarily long time, our server came out and told us that because we ordered w/o the peppers, they had to make a special batch? Really??? How does this restaurant not have this on hand? On all of my earlier visits it had not been an issue. My guess is he forgot to put the order in. He did comp us by providing the large bowl at the small bowl price. My entrée meal was simple: a cheese enchilada. I couldn't remember if chose the tomatillo sauce or something else in the past. I asked the waiter which was the least spicy red sauce on the menu and he recommended a two chili sauce. I asked, about that vs the 1 chili sauce and he said he would get the 2. I told him to play it safe and I would have the 1 chili sauce and got a HUGE eye roll from him. When it arrived, the sauce was so hot I could only have a bite of it ... i guess he got me, huh? Sucking down my Coke zero, i needed more, but the tank was being changed. So, out of non-jalapeño queso, give me whatever sauce you want AND out of coke zero on a slow night. Not to be outdone, during the middle of the meal I felt something on my foot. I looked down and it was the toddler from the next table crawling around on the dirty floor? AND WELCOME TO MCDONALDS. As an added bonus, I was able to watch one of the servers continually hit on and paw at another server... get a room. I don't need to see the mating ritual of the Millennial in the restaurant. I do need to add that the waiter comped the enchilada meal for being to spicy. I won't be returning. This place is overrun by children and tourists who want a step up from Chipotle. STAY AWAY.

Chuy's is some of the best tex-mex around and at a price that is sometimes cheaper than most Mexican restaurants in the area. My wife and I will drive 30 minutes just to have dinner here because of the flavor and the jalapeño ranch salsa that you have to ask for when they bring you your chips. The most unique plate is the Chica-chica boom-boom enchiladas, my wife's favorite. I go for the Elvis Presley combo, which is three enchiladas topped with various sauces and a "Priscilla plate", an extra beef taco and some large chips covered with their cheddar queso - enough food to feed two people if you are skimpy eaters. With that said, Chuy's is inconsistent with its service and depending on your server, you may be needing to ask for things multiple times. Our recent experience was needing to ask for napkins and the jalapeño ranch salsa multiple time (3 times for the napkins - which is shameful). We even had a manager stop by a table next to ours asking how the food was, then pass by us when he could have easily repeated the gesture to multiple tables.

HOT HOT HOT - if you like everything you order spiced HOT - then this is the place for you. Sampled the ranch and jalapeno dip. It is mild and quite tasty. The chips are crunchy but not oily. The nachos are served on fried tortilla triangles. They ended up tough and difficult to chew. I would have preferred a more traditional style over chips. The music is quite loud and the interior is over done trying to create a vibe but it simply misses the mark. I ordered a quesadilla and did not want the peppers, chilies, pico or sour cream. Server repeated my request and wrote it down. I simply wanted a cheese and spinach quesadilla. It came with some of the hottest peppers and chilies inside known to man!! To their credit they (server and manager) tried to make it right, but I really did not care for another dish at that point. Overall it wasn't for us. I'm sure for a young hip crowd the music and extremely spicy food will prove for a great night.

Great tex-mex restaurant right by Perimeter Mall. I've been there 3-4 times and the service is always super friendly and fast and the food is yummy. They have a diverse menu - not your typical tex-mex food and they have plenty of options for salsa's/sauces. At the Perimeter mall location, you can sit inside or outside and you won't be disappointed with this cute little restaurant.

Fell in love with Chuy's year's ago when I lived in Houston. The ATL location is pretty good. 1. When you get your chips, ask for the creamy jalepeno to dip your chips in as well. The fresh salsa which comes out is excellent. 2. The Chile Relleno is the absolute best. Large roasted, peeled, stuffed, deep fried chile. Can't go wrong. 3. Favorite sauce is the deluxe tomatillo, hatch green chile is quite sociy and tasty. 4. Really good margaritas - I get the "swirl" (mix of frozen lime and strawberry) 5. Lots of vegetarian options.

Had lunch at Chuys and as always enjoyed it and the creamy jalapeno. Had the pork boom boom enchiladas which were the weekend special. They were awesome!! Very much like the chicken ones which I love. Service was awesome!

Fantastic service & food. Manager Alan was great to talk with. Have free nacho bar 4-7pm. Stuffed avocado special was unique and really enjoyed by my husband. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. Plus the building is just a really cool place. Wish they would open one in Gwinnett/Hall county area

Decent place, like the excessive use of green chiles. Food was average. Had a steak burrito that was decent. The service was slow, but accommodating. It's ok if you can't find an authentic Mexican/Texmex place.

Food was delicious and atmosphere was great. Service and prices were very good. We each had a different dish and tried each other's food. Did not taste anything I didn't like.

I should have known the moment my wife and I walked in to this poor excuse for an eating establishment that it was going to be bad. LOUD music and then a vast majority of the wait staff hanging out and socializing near the front. Even though it was only 7PM, I was made to feel like it was 5 minutes prior to closing and that I should not be there. Once seated outside, the music was still way too loud. Once we were able to place an order, it took an inordinate amount of time to arrive and once it did, the sever became persona non-grata aka she disappeared. We finally asked another server for the check and left. By now you've noticed I've not mentioned the food. The reason is it was not worth mentioning. To be honest, I've had better food and service from a very popular fast food Mexican restaurant.

Chuy's is a great Tex-Mex chain and I've been to many of them across the south and the food is always consistently good! The atmosphere is very casual, colorful and fun. The margaritas...oh the margaritas, they are very, very good. Overall you cannot go wrong at a Chuy's with the food, the drink and the fun.

This location has gone downhill. Women’s Bathroom smelled absolutely horrid. Putrid. Our waiter was fantastic but have no desire to return. Shame on Chueys for not keeping high standards.

I love theis place for a quick lunch break. Food comes out fresh and hot! I love sitting at the bar I seem to always get the same person and I love thatt. I like going over current shows we are watching!

We were in Atlanta for the weekend. Stopped in for dinner the food was good. You got your money's worth, large portions. Our server was great.

I went to Chuy's many times while I was in college in Austin. Having been a dislocated Texan, I missed it greatly. Great Tex-mex food that reminds me of home. Can't beat it!!!

Such a disappointment. I expected the usual Chuy's experience. What I received was lethargic service and food so bland you could not pass it off as Mexican. I almost got up and left waiting for the initial drink service. I wish I had done that. The hostess Lisa was the shining star of the evening. Effervescent yet very professional. I have eaten at many Chuy's restaurants in many different locales, and this location is substandard by any comparison. It should be an embarrassment to the powers-that-be in Austin.

One of the few places in Atlanta to get Hatch green chili. Not quite authentic like back in New Mexico, but best I know of in the area!

Ordered the Baja taco-grilled fish. The fish looked about like a size of a big green bean. Taste was ok but meat was very limited. Not sure why the hype for this place.

The service was good today. We went early before the lunch crowd arrived. The queso was great and the chicken fajitas were yummy. Love those homemade tortillas. The fresh salsa was really good too. Last time we are here we were disappointed, not today - good all around.
great Mexican food
Great food. the different types of dips and salsas were excellent. It wasn't the same old Mexican food that is all around Atlanta. Something different for a change. Highly recommend if you are looking for something out of the ordinary.
