- Airport Food is usually Blah. Not here. Made to order "Fine Dining" style service and menu. If you have a couple hour layover, this is the place to relax with a glass of wine and to enjoy a good, fine Italian meal.

Stopped for breakfast during a layover - thanks to the server for her help with the ordering tablet, but I really miss the human interaction. Omelet was ok, home fry chunks not impressive. Good Bloody Mary - bacon side was decent. Overall seemed pricey for breakfast - will look for other options in the future.

This is fine dining at its best. The food and the waitstaff were outstanding. Even the hostess was pleasant and helpful. And the cherry on top of all this is the live entertainment. The wait staff and even the bartender sing the american song book accompanied by a great pianist. Over all it was great will go back again!

The food is nothing to scream at. I picked up something to eat at the airport and everything was just so expensive. You never really know how long the food has been sitting there so you take your chances.

Had about 30 minutes before my flight out and stopped in for a glass of wine and brussel sprouts. Both were excellent and bartender was very nice. Great stop off in a bustling airport, nice escape from busy/stressful travel day.

Check out this restaurant in Terminal B @ PHL . Great menu with healthy food and superb service. If the spinach salad with duck is still available try it you will not be disappointed !!!

Are you stuck in Terminal B at Philadelphia Airport? Need a bite to eat, a glass of wine, a quiet place to kill some time before your fight? Drop into Cibo Bistro and Wine Bar. After a weekend of championship lacrosse, my husband and I couldn't bear the sight of another burger and fry combo. The cool, softly lit Cibo beckoned and each little table sported a beautiful (real) yellow rose. I recommend the grilled vegetable and olive appetizer or the terrific cheese plate, both outstanding. The ample glass of wine eased all the stress associated with the hectic and frenzied gate activities surrounding us and sent us on our way home in a mellow mood. Thanks to owner/manager CJ Myers for creating a quality establishment in Terminal B, a truly unexpected oasis!

The restaurant was very nice and clean. The waiter was fantastic and the food was delicious had a wonderful salad but cant remember the name

I stop in here every month for an apple sangria, beet salad and mushroom risotto. Food is amazing. Can honestly say this is my happy place.

Three of us had 20 minutes before our connecting flight. CJ had the food and drinks to us in 5 minutes. Great to see some one take as much pride in his resturaunt as CJ does. Definitely plan a return visit during my next lay over.

Spent about an hour there about a week ago due to missing a connecting flight. Got a turkey burger that was cooked nicely and also had an interesting apple sauce. Had an excellent glass of chardonnay. Service was good but a bit on the slow side.

My husband and I thought we'd get out of our preorchestra rut and try a different place for dinner. Pleasant surprises were the 20% discount with proof of performance tickets and a "floor show". We were not familiar with Il Cibo and did not know the waitstaff were talented singers. We had a wonderful 30 min. show. The dining room was lovely but fairly empty 6-7 PM on a Saturday. We congratulated ourselves on our choice. The menu was fairly extensive and our waitress (Alyssa) was a delight. My $10.00 glass of a German Reisling was great--but, center city prices. I started with a salad of arugula with tomato, avocado and balsamic and my husband had a Cesare salad. They were fine--nothing special. He went with the veal parm. The veal was tender but the overall presentation and taste were simply "ok" as were the sides. I ordered the rigatoni with broccoli rabe, and crab. The rigatoni were perfectly cooked but had a supermarket boxed pasta flavor. The dish was ordinary. The amount of crab for a $22.00 dish was miniscule. We skipped dessert I had decaf coffee, which had great flavor but was lukewarm. The 20% discount made the meal less disappointing. We'll stick with Varelli's--no disappointments there ever.

I've eaten in more airports than I'd care to remember in the USA and around the world and airport restaurants simply don't get better than Cibo. Step out of the airport and into Cibo. This is not an airport food outlet, it's a restaurant, and a good one at that. An extensive choice of fine wines by the glass (from about $8 to $20), varied menu ($10 to $30) and consistently great food served well in stylish surroundings. I must have eaten at Cibos 30 times or more and never had a bad meal or wine. Flying back from San Francisco to the UK this week Cibos was an hour of sheer enjoyment that broke up the journey. Terminal B and worth the 5 minute walk from the other terminals.

This place looks nice but is still really got a ways to go with regard to being a good stop for travelers. The servers were very kind, but it took almost 40 minutes for a bagel (not toasted) with cream cheese, and they forgot the coffee. Hopefully it will improve with time, as it would be a great asset to the Delta terminal.

Mass confusion in the Philadelphia airport. You are supposed to order on a touch screen. However, there is no sign directing you to the correct place. When you do order, there is no input for some items on sale such as bananas and muffins. There is a different touch screen where you check out. Lots of people in the wrong “line.” A staff person needed to come out to help people. She was not wearing a mask. Finally, the bagel was lame. While other places had longer lines, they were organized. Likely worth the longer wait at one of the other places.

because - food ordering was possible but serving time at least 20 minutes....but food did look pretty good. staff was very friendly and helpfull with the order procedure by terminal and paying by credit card - no paying - no ordering - no service 😆

I stopped by craving sushi while on a trip through PHL, and gave Cibo a try. While the sushi itself was fine, this is one of the restaurants in the airport that has jumped onto the iPad craze--which puts ordering on the device in front of you and leaves you captive to have the same device blaring nonsense at you throughout the meal. Pretty expensive for what you get, even considering its airport location. I won't bother again.

Airports are getting a bit better and this place helps. The 4 is subjective to airport places not overall! Decent wine select (albeit pricey - airports !) philly hasn't gone under the renovation that other airports have gone through . I had zucchini Napoleon and a side of meatballs . Good flavor, if you are looking to eat this is the place. If not there are wine bars with better selections if you are only drinking . Safe travels !

I expect two things from an airport restaurant: mediocre or worse food and high prices. The prices here were high, but not bad for what you got. Starters were $10-$12. We shared an antipasto plate and I had the ahi tuna, which was quite good. The service was excellent, the menu was varied and the ingredients were fresh. Only cons were that the other customers were served bread, we weren't, and a word of advice - don't sit under the speakers, they're too loud.

My wife and I were truly surprised - and impressed!! You usually don't expect much from an airport restaurant, but this was more like you would expect from a restaurant in the city. You just need to get used to the computerized menu process, but the person at the bar helped us. We sat at the bar and had good communication with the bar tender. The food was hot, more than we could possibly eat, and actually quite delicious. It is not cheap. With our drinks, the total came to $75. However, in this case I consider it worth the cost. Next time in PHL, we'll eat here again1

Ate breakfast here in between flights. Very mixed results. There is a decent if ordinary breakfast menu which is OK for an airport. Hubby ordered the breakfast sandwich on a bagel, with scrambled eggs and sausage. While he stated that it was too much, especially with the potatoes that automatically come with it, he did manage to eat it all. He said that coffee was "average" My breakfast is where it really fell apart. Unfortunately the menu only includes larger meals and there is no option for a singe egg, a small order of meat etc. As many people eat smaller portions, especially of items like eggs and greasy breakfast meat restaurants really need to rethink this, So I set about trying to decide what would be the smallest option. My first choice was a "Pork Roll Sandwich". Waitress told me the "Pork Roll" is just what the meat was called and that it most closely resembled thin sliced ham. Sounded fine. Unfortunately when the sandwich came, it smelled "off". One ( small) bite confirmed my worst suspicions : the meat tasted spoiled. Unable to catch the waitress' eye I brought it to the counter and returned it. Second try was eggs (two because one is not an option) turkey sausage and whole wheat toast. Breakfast arrived with bacon which would have been OK if it was not cooked beyond recognition. Waitress did bring the sausage, which was quite good. The single piece of whole wheat toast that accompanied the plate was very dark brown on one side and burnt on the other, cold, hard as a rock without the benefit of butter. When I tried to cut it with a knife it shattered into several pieces. The "home fried potatoes" are actually deep fried potato chunks that were actually not bad. While I do not expect gourmet food at any airport, I do expect edible food, especially for the price. Perhaps breakfast is not their thing. This food was substandard even for an airport. I would not recommend anyone spending their money here at least if they want to eat a decent breakfast.

Not so great but considering the choices I had I decided to try it. Friendly staff. Burger was pretty tasteless and over cooked. Fries were good but not warm when served.

I gotta say this is a good option if you have an hour or more between or before flights. The automated use of the iPad to order and pay for the food is such a great and easy option! The staff are attentive to your needs and there to assist you if you can't navigate the menus in the screen. The prices are reasonable for airport food and drink. The service was prompt!

Cibo seems to be the only restaurant and supposedly relaxing place to eat at Philly Airport. We've eaten there on a number of occasions and it's been mediocre at best. My vegetarian burger was burnt around the edges and the fries lacked the advertised Parmesan. My husband's order was way off: he ordered meat balls, but was brought a sandwich. We then had a wait for a replacement. When the meat balls, with pasta, eventually arrived, all two of them were more like bread balls. There are loads of snack places at the airport but for anyone with a long wait, it's good to have a decent meal in relaxing surroundings. Cibo has no competition, so seems to be coasting.

Had dinner at Cibo while waiting for flight , pasta Bolognese was spot on, nice side Caesar. Good airport food is always a nice surprise.

EXCEPT FOR THE TURKEY BURGER, the food is great. You MUST try the soups and ESPECIALLY the beet salad. Libations are pretty good too

We had a two hour layover mid-day in Philadelphia and stopped in at Cibo. What a delightful surprise! We ordered the William Hill Chardonnay, which was very good. The portions are large, so we split the Beet Salad and the pulled pork pasta. Both were outstanding! I highly recommend stopping in at Cibo!

We stopped at Cibo for Bloody Marie's (14) and breakfast sandwiches (8) before proceeding to gate B11 and our flight to MCO. Ordering and paying is all done with a terminal at your seat, where there is also a charging station. It's very efficient, and, for an airport, it's important that you don't have to wait for your server to pay the bill. The drinks are expensive, but, hey, it's an airport.

We arrived WAY to early for our flight this morning and had time to wander through terminals to shop and eat. We chose to stop at Cibo which a pleasant surprise. My omelette was perfect the potatos were just crisp enough without being dry and our server was very pleasant. The coffee was just average but that's the only aspect that, I think, could be improved. I'm glad we made this choice because airport restaurants are usually sub par.

My husband and I had a long layover at PHI around dinner time. We saw the positive reviews for Cibo's on Tripadvisor but we were tired and weren't sure we wanted to shuttle back and forth from our gate area -- which was about as far away from Terminal B as you could get. With a little encouragement from someone we met at the airport who had eaten there, we decided to catch the shuttle. It was definitely worth the time and trouble! Cibo's atmosphere -- with its subdued lighting and fresh rose on each table -- was several cuts above most airport eateries. Our server -- Amanda -- was cordial, professional, and very efficient. The Italian menu was varied. We both chose calamari for our appetizers and wild mushroom ravioli for our entrees. Everything was served hot and quickly ... and --best of all -- tasted delicious! Next time we have a layover in Philly, we will definitely go out of our way to eat at CIBO's.

Breakfast meal OK but not outstanding. The goat cheese omelet and Monte Christo sandwich were fine. Service was typical of an airport restaurant. Naturally the prices were high as was to be expected. Our next meal at the Philly airport will be somewhere else.r

A group of us had a connecting flight in Philly. Stopped by Cibo to get a quick bite. AWESOME service and food. Can say enough about CJ Myers & N Briones. Thank you!!

This is a very nice place in he airport to stop and grab a bite to eat before or after a flight. The food is tasty, and the staff make it their business to make you feel really special.

As far as airport places go, this place is better than other options in this concourse. Had the Cesar Salad and it was mediocre - not enough flavor in the dressing. Had calamari on top and it was fine - maybe could have used a little kick as well. Service was good - - and again, for airport food, pretty ok.

My husband and I arrived at the airport almost 2 hours ahead of our flight so we decided to grab a bite to eat at a nearby restaurant which just so happened to be Cibo's. I ordered a bacon and cheese omelet and my husband had the banana french toast with mimosas. The surprising part was that it was pretty good. I really don't know what I was expecting, probably not much, but the food was really good. I usually look at the bars in the airport just as a place to go and have a drink before a flight, that is why I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. Our server was pleasant and suggested my husband get the banana french toast. He still prefers pancakes, but he did say the french toast wasn't bad and the banana flavor did not over power the french toast. All in all it was a good pre-flight meal. A little on the expensive side for breakfast food, but that what I expected in the airport.

I was starving and inbetween flights...yeah, anyone relate here? So, I was LUCKY to find this place and C.J. took GREAT care of me...My turkey burger came out with fries...GROSS!! So, I asked him to take them off my plate and he offered to grill some fresh asparagus for me? WHAAA? So, it was worth the wait...delicious grilled asparagus AND my great turkey burger..oh, and did I mention the side was an apple, mustard delicacy that HE had prepared...sooooo. goood...Service is impecable and I can't wait to get to that airport again...My yuengling beer was frosty cold, just the way I like it! You always equate airports with food and THIS is my number one place to go to!! Thank you CJ, for your fine service and I was soooo lucky to find this place!

Expensive. One of those QR menus that was impossible to use, even for the staff. Menu descriptions were for ordering difficult. Omelette wasway over cooked minimal fillings. Bagel sandwich OK. Very poor value. Will not to return.

this place is fine if you're in a bind and need a quick bite or a drink. certainly not a destination to seek out!

I stopped in here while I waited for my flight home. I found the prices to be reasonable and the food delicious! I really enjoyed the turkey burger and parmesan fries, plus my 7.5 oz glass of wine.

Due to rain - my United flight from PHL to Schiphol via Dulles Intl was delayed to the extent that United switched me to a USAir flight departing Philly several hours later (however, arriving in NL only an hour later - since USAir it is direct!) With a few hours to wait at PHL & not having ate since breakfast, I looked for a sit down restaurant in Terminal A & decided to try Cibo Bistro and Wine Bar - A West. I ordered Apple Glazed Salmon w/asparagus & fingerling potatoes (I replaced fingerlings w/ truffled fries as I absolutely luv truffles!). Although a bit pricey for such a salmon dish, for airport fare it was reasonably priced & cooked to perfection! I highly recommend! The server - Tara was efficient & friendly! Thanks Cibo being stuck at airport was less dreadful than expected thanks to your establishment!

I miss Cibo. I used to travel through PHL airport about 4 times a month. I wouldn't miss stopping there each. I usually had a light meal with a glass of valpolicella or two until a great bartender, Danielle, introduced me to Malbec. Since I am now in Abu Dhabi I do not get to stop there anymore. I miss the food, the atmosphere (for a small airport stop) but most of all the service.

You order everything yourself on tablets which I don't like. Then I order a cosmopolitan and ask for it to be light pink-not a lot of cranberry. For about $18.00 I received about a 4 ounce glass of flavored lime water. Terrible. We went there between flights and were going to eat dinner. We ended up at another restaurant which was perfect!

recently visited before show at walnut. server mike was very gracious and helpful. as was host Michael. food and drink was wonderful. a must while in city. but only thing that bothered me was the fact that they advertise happy hour 5 to 7 with $3 beers and $4 wines and half price appetizers. wife had a cocktail and i drank house wine. also had an appetizer and no one offered these prices.did not want to ask as it was our first time there!

Stopped for lunch before a recent business trip and had an above average Caprese salad. Service is prompt and if you would prefer a glass of wine with your meal they have both 4 oz. and 7.5 oz. options. I travel often for business and am less sensitive to price points so long as the prices are reasonable but had a decent lunch for $20 or so and since a bottled water at the airport can run $4, it is nice to sit down, charge your phone and have decent food in a more relaxed setting.

I got here because they had yogurt and bananas. I was sick and could not eat any other thing. They were fast and the price was not that bad considering you are at the airport.

if this is the one in the Philly airport then this is it. our server was nice and quick. the beers good & cold. kids burgers were ok. but the antipasto plate with meats & cheeses was not fit for human consumption

We ate supper here on our way to Florence. And while this certainly isn't on par to a 4 star city restaurant. Judged against other offerings in other airports, it certainly is a 4 star airport restaurant. Good food, really nice wine selection, decent service, all in all a pleasant meal in an airport and truly what more can you ask for. Be aware like ALL airport restaurants, it's not cheap.

The food and beverages here are great if you an get a seat. I stop in here when I am in a rush and do not have time to relax in the US Airways Club. I am usually very satisfied when I Hennessy Side Car and grilled chicken salad. The hard part is finding a seat. Good Luck!!

I stopped by here for breakfast before my flight. It is located next to Gate B6. You need to use the iPads to place your order, which I do not like. My breakfast plate with two eggs with toast was $10.75. A cup of tea was $3. They came out about ten minutes later. Meal was just okay.

I got through security pretty fast so I decide to sit down and have a good breakfast. You order from an ipad, pay and get your order. Novel concept since you do not have to wait for check. However tip needs to be added before you get your meal. Food was good, toast was cold. May or may not return.

Not your typical airport food. This is a great place to eat. Consistently excellent food. Good service but a bit too crowded with all the bags. If we are not @ Legal Seafood we are here. Excellent choice every time

"Airport" and "good food" never occur in the same sentence - except if you're in Terminal B in the Philadelphia airport having a meal at Cibo's. The Pastas : they were great . . . not over the moon great, but better than the typical Italian bistro that you might find (in say the Italian North End in Boston). I would recommend the linguini with arugula and pesto. The Wines : I mentioned to my wife that whatever she ordered would probably be so-so (since this is the airport after all). She ordered a New Zealand chardonnay that was surprisingly quite good. I stand corrected. The Service : another surprise - it was really excellent. Our waitress actually knew wines to recommend, and even offered my wife a sample glass. The manager came by later and suggested some deserts . . . we shared the tiramusi which was a nice end to our meal. The View : yes, you are looking out at an airport tarmac. But at least you get a panoramic sweep of the control tower. The Price : reasonable . . . you're looking at about 60 for two for an entree, wine and dessert. The Verdict : if we find ourselves in Terminal B again, we will ony eat at Cibo. PS. the only 'negative' was that we couldn't find a power outlet nearby to charge our phones while having dinner.

Tried to get a glass of wine before our flight but had to abort because of slow service. Red wines lacked mid priced selections. Quality selections ridiculously priced.

Reviews appeared mixed. I went for the ’airport get away experience' I expected airport prices but was shocked to find that a medium beet salad with some grilled shrimp came in at $18 and not wanting to pay the unseasonably high wine prices, I went for a house white. Turns out it's priced higher than the named choices, $12 for a glass. Don't get me wrong, the wine (Pinot Grigio) and salad were both good. And that ’airport getaway' experience? Don't believe those reviews! Tables crammed together, loud lousy music, sports TVs and supper loud customer chatter. Can't hear yourself think. Only thing getting away is your money.

Really disappointing sandwich given the price and pretense of the place. There are some good eateries in airports. This is not one of them.

I have no comments, since we didn't spend much time here. Pretty much just stopped by while getting ready for our flight.

I enjoyed a wonderful meal at a reasonable price. Great ambience and terrific service. Met some nice people in the restaurant and shared good laughs.

We stopped by to get lunch before climbing into a US Airways cattle car to LAX. My wife had a sandwich, my son had a burger, and I had a turkey burger. The waiter knew to ask whether we had time to wait for burgers. The service was prompt, the food well above the airport average. We were in and out in half an hour. Recommended, at least for lunch.

The food is fair to sub par. They'd tried to make an interpretation of a muffuletta, gross would be fair. And picture is a double

Had time before a long flight from B terminal, and though there was a wait (which tells you something), we eventually snagged a table by the window. Glad we did! The antipasti platter was quite good, plenty of food for two. Service competent even though the staff had to climb over luggage and laps.

We went to the Cibo Restaurant for breakfast before a flight. The staff was very nice and made sure we were taken care of. The food was all very good – Fruit was fresh, breakfast sandwiches cooked well and made fresh. Yes, it is expensive as some reviews have mentioned, but it is the airport so it should be expected. The tables are set up a bit tight together but I’m sure during the busy times, that is needed to fit the crowd. Would go there again next time I am flying out of Philadelphia.

A nice oasis from the airport madness, the food is made to order and better than the average airport fare. Friendly servers and the manager is visibly involved with the operation. Menu items not typically seen at American airports. Mostly updated Italian themed items. A downside is that this restaurant will cost more than most people expect to pay in an airport. With wine or drinks, the tab can be higher than big city restaurants. So, a nice splurge.

my wife had a wonderful late lunch at Cibo Bistro. We order the restaurant week special and that chicken masala fish was outstanding....also live the chicken rice soup. Sure will be back. Keep up the good work!

My husband and I had a layover at the Philly airport and chose Cibo for a small bite and a few drinks. We were blown away by the deliciousness of the Brussel sprouts and the garlic bread. Ordering via iPad was easy and the service came with a friendly smile. Would definitely stop by there again the next time we’re in the Philly airport 😊

As a refugee from three cancelled flights at Philadelphia’s International Airport, I stumbled on this place and my day suddenly got brighter. Aside from the cool new business concept that drives it, I was very impressed by the size and tastiness of my chopped chicken salad. Even better for this craft beer nut was the selection of 20+ ice-cold beers on tap. I settled for a Yards IPA, which I had never had before - t’was fabulous. Suddenly, I’m in no hurry to get to Portland!

Staff was incredibly friendly as we sat at the bar. Because we had a flight delay, we grabbed a couple of good glasses of Chardonnay and Caesar salad (one with salmon and one plain). They were good but next time I would ask for dressing on side as was a bit heavy. One of the better airport spots

Excellent cafe for easy and delicious food and drinks. Light and/or heartier fare. Excelletn airport food choice.

very cool concept. tablets to order food read the news etc. charger outlets for your devices plentiful. prompt service yummy food and good drinks. a little preview but what’s not in the airport? recommend!!

Airport food in Terminal B. Pleasantly surprised. I had a nice salad with fish. Overall Impression: 4 - Quality of Food: 4 - Service: 4 - Cost: 4 - Atmosphere: 4 - Cleanliness: 4 - Parking: N/A - (5: Superb/Excellent; 4: Solid/Very Good; 3 Average; 2: Below Average; 1: Do not recommend)

$19 for a glass of white wine!!! Really! Found was good though, enjoyed pasta dishes. Other items look good as well. Just stay away from the high priced wine!
Not good and very costly
So caught up in the cool, fast ordering technology they forgot about making the food taste good. Really expensive, not worth the $$. Yes they are fast, but yikes, not a good option. We had 4 different food orders and NONE was good. Better off buying something at a grab and go. Wine also not good. Lots better places to spend your high margin airport food cost. Kind of hoping they can step it back up soon...excellent wait staff
