I was walking through the Pearl District yesterday during the heat wave we have had this weekend. This is when I spotted the sign for Cider Bite and followed the direction of the arrow till I found the door. Walked inside and chatted with the guy at the bar in back and ordered a cider like what I might have back in the UK. Cost was $6.50 and it was a tasty treat. Nice to have something distinct that isn't a beer. This is a great place with a wide range of ciders to choose from. Glad I just happened to find the sign and checked the place out.

This is the largest selection of ciders I have seen in one spot. My wife loves the ciders. We stopped in to check it out. Ended up staying for two flights. The cidertender was very helpful and made some good recommendations. In the end it is a matter of preference. But there are some flavors that will surprise, like the ginger selection. The flight is the best way to sample and assortment.

We visited Cider Bite not long after they opened. Although they didn't have their food going yet, we had a great time. They have an impressive array of ciders, from Oregon and elsewhere. My companion had a dry Oregon cider. I had a hopped cider (can't recall the origin, Washington?). Both were noteworthy. The taproom is spare, clean, with woody decor. It is a worthy endeavour and a nice addition to West of the river Portland. We have high hopes for its success. Recommended!

My wife and I recently visited this establishment. As we were unfamiliar with the ciders available, we ordered a flight of 6 and let the bartender choose for us. He selected a nice assortment of ciders with a wide range of flavors, even including a hopped cider. The bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere is very casual and friendly. They have an assortment of board games.

They had a huge selection of ciders that were all pretty darn tasty. Fun to do as a group so you can try them all!

Not necessarily a cider enthusiast, but the lady friend is...so we went here. Pretty cool place, would be great for a large group to get a gnarly "cider high". They have about 50-60 different ciders so you can definitely find something you'll enjoy with a $12 flight (six selections). Everything ranging from blueberry to strawberry to pear to peach, etc. One note: taste is primarily subjective, but do not opt for the Quince cider. Tastes like stale wine cut with dirty dish water. DO NOT try the Quince cider (what the hell is a quince, anyway?

In the US there seems to be lots of Brewpubs, ideal for my husband the beer drinker but not so good for me. They only seem to offer a selection of one or two ciders. Many of which are not very nice. So this was really nice surprise find and my turn to have a wide choice! The venue is not very big and I would suggest if you want to spend a weekend night there I would arrive early as the place was full during our visit. There are 32 ciders on tap. We choose to go for the 6 taster flight. A great way to try some different flavours. My favourite was the Grand Mimosa. One really cool thing, that we do not have here in the UK and heard has now become popular in the US is the venue supplies games for the patrons. So I spent a very enjoyable evening drinking cider and beating my husband at Scrabble (They may want to check their Scrabble sets though as I had two Q's hahaha :-D) Our server Andrew was very very nice and very knowledgeable. He helped make our evening very enjoyable. So if in Portland and fancy something different from the norm of Brewpubs etc this is a must!!

If you want to try cider or really like cider, this is the place to visit. Located in Pearl district of downtown Portland, OR, they have a ton of ciders on top that you can try and nice area to sit with friends.

We were able to order three 6 tasting Flights and compare and talk about the flavors and aromas of may great Ciders. Staff was super helpful and cheese plate was perfect for munching while drank. Wish we had this back East.

They have such a great selection of ciders from Oregon, California, and Washington! I recommend doing a flight so you can try the unique flavors. No minors allowed and they serve snacks. Located in the Pearl District of Portland. Great service!

We enjoyed our cider tastings- they have a lot to choose from , so I recommend ordering a flight. Staff was friendly, and service was great.

So much fun! What a great way to sample some PNW ciders. We also had some yummy food. Our waiter was great at helping us choose our flights. We even found a couple we loved enough to buy growlettes!!

My husband and I stopped in here on our first day in Portland. We had already walked up to the Japanese garden so we had earned some of our drinks for the evening. I had previous bookmarked Cider Bites before flying into Portland since I am a huge cider fan. Basically its a great option since I'm allergic to barley and have a gluten intolerance. Boo! Upon entering our bartender was extremely welcoming. He explains cider flight options and offered recommendations of ciders to try based upon our preferences. My husband and I split a flight of six ciders with a various range of sweetness. The ciders were good and we enjoyed talking with our bartender. We didn't eat here but they offer a few small bites. Luckily if you are in search of food there is plenty of nearby places to eat

We enjoyed out time here and all the different types of cider. The games that are available to play is a great idea. We enjoyed multiple games of Connect Four. :)

Great cider place in the Pearl District. Tried a flight of 6 ciders and some snacks. They have a selection of various ciders from all over the country. Nice chill place for a drink and to chat with friends.

My husband is a big fan of cider and likes to try new varieties wherever we travel. I did some research before the trip and added Cider Bite to our list for Portland. Since our visit coincided with a wretched heat wave, we were happy to take refuge one afternoon before dinner. There were 30+ varieties on tap, mostly from OR, WA, and CA. The flights were quite generous and really reasonably priced. We were thrilled that there were also some games available. I loved the rhubarb sour and Ginja Ninja and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his two flights. My mother wanted something non-alcoholic and there weren't many options. The bartender was very personable and knowledgeable. We did not order food during our visit. If I'm ever in Portland again, I'd definitely go back!

I have some fond memories of this place, so when my friends were visiting for their first time, I knew this was a stop we had to make. I love this place because it's cozy, it's laidback and they have an awesome selection for an even better price. Also looks like since I was in last they added food! There is so much to pick from and I haven't disliked many I have had. The flight is 100% the way to go when coming here but sadly after one flight, I am pretty full. I know there bigger and fancier cider places now but this will always be a favorite!

Such a great spot! If you are just getting into the cider scene like I am, start your journey here. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable and super-helpful if you tell them what kinds of flavors you like & the selection includes a great mix of local and national cideries. Real neighborhood ambiance and totally unpretentious -- lacking in so many other spots in the Pearl. Get a taster tray of 4 to figure out what you like and then order a pint of your favorite one -- my only suggestion is that they need to raise their prices for such a great selection and service :)

Cider is making its way into the craft beer circle and I'm not mad at it. Cider Bite had over 20 different ciders on tap with a tasting flight that was hard to finish. We could pick from 4 or 6 ciders for the discounted flight price, but with so many to choose from it was hard to decide. We could barely finish the 4 since it was 5oz tasters, but we didn't eat before hand which was a mistake. They do offer some simple bar food, but nothing special. They also have different board and card games for patrons. I wish we had more time to sit around and really enjoy this spot. Will be back.

Huge selection of unique ciders from sweet to savory to spicy. Great service. Fun concept. Tables not very comfortable.

This was our second time here and I would highly recommend it to anyone that likes cider! Fun, casual atmosphere and they even have games to play while you drink. They have flights as well as half pints and pints.

I couldn't believe my luck when I found this little gem! An unassuming little shop with over 20 ciders on tap...that's right...ON TAP. A flight of tasters was an absolute joy...so many local choices that are unavailable where I live. I cannot wait for my next trip to Portland...this will be my first stop next time!

We noticed Cider Bite near an art event in the Pearl District. I loved the name and enjoy a good hard cider, so we stopped in. I did not realize there were so many kinds! I got a flight, and found some new favorites. Very busy place, but our server was good and he took care of us well.

I like that the tap list is broken down by types so cider. There are 32 types. Bartenders are knowledgable. Food is limited but works. I enjoyed the tomatoe soup. It's a small place. There is a tv but owner forbids any sports on it. He shows info-commercials and '70's shows....l. Nice to have someplace with an extensive, rotating tap list.

Unexpected find after dinned in the Pearl district. Huge selection of ciders and some sour beers. One of the owners family was working and we had a great conversation, The ciders were flavorful and iced cold. What a fun time!

Over 16+ interesting, delicious, unique, and refreshing ciders on tap... Drink them all! The food isn't anything special, but its cheap and will prevent a hangover.

This place is a must visit if you enjoy ciders. Dozens (over 30) of ciders to choose from, grouped by sweetness and a separate group of specialty ciders. I highly recommend getting the sampler. You get 6 choices, and you get 5 ounces of each cider. We also ordered food, sharing the hummus plate as a group. I also had the grilled cheese, which comes with a delightful Brie and cranberry/honey spread and, of course, apple slices. The staff were well versed in explaining all the ciders as well. I will definitely be back for more!

My cousin's girlfriend and I love ciders and HAD to stop here. I am so glad she found this place. They have TONS of ciders and they're delicious! We each ordered a flight and got to try a bunch of flavors. My favorite was the peach cider. It was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend stopping here for a crisp adult drink.

I've done so many fun cider flights at this place. I typically don't like cider or beer, but I enjoy many of the offerings here if I order from the sweet menu. The food isn't fancy but it has vegan and gluten free options. The staff is very friendly and remembers us. It's a fun place to go to talk or to bring a board game.

Cute little cider house that was a great place to hang out and just have a chill night. They have cute little classic games that you can play all while enjoying their giant selection of ciders that is sorted by sweetness. Don’t know what you want? Order a flight! Know what you want? Order a gallon! Had a grand time here spending time with Jess and Michael and would recommend a stop in!
Cider drinker's heaven
Great to see a range of ciders on tap. Food is good too - the cider infused pulled chicken sandwich was excellent. Service was outstanding. Sit outside on a warm summer evening.
