We went to Cinco on a Saturday night while attending the Blade Show and we decided to be seated on the upstairs terrace, where there was live music: even though ti was a bit difficult to chat, the band was simply awesome. We had a couple of margaritas (they have many variations of it on the menu, try some, they're really worth) while eating the (lkely homemade) fantastic nacho chips which were provided free of charge in a monstrous quantity. I had the camarones as main dish, and they were awesome. Pricing was very reasonable. Staff was kind. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the Cobb area (for business I guess, I wouldn't imagine anybody going to Cobb for anything else).

Back in Atlanta for business and stopped by to see our favorite waitress Tracy. Had the fajitas this time with chips and salsa. Sat n the back room over looking the patio. Great water fountain, conversation and margaritas! Everything was fresh, sizzling hot and tasty. Most definitely worth making this a regular stop when in town.

The first impression is very nice. It's a large place, but not too noisy. We were a large group and seated quickly. Then it took 30 minutes to receive our drinks. When the food arrived, only have the table received their Orders and then 10 minutes later, the remainder arrived. The food and selection of drinks was good. The Servers were friendly, but not efficient. I had the fish tacos and Argentinian wine. Both very tasty. There is also outdoor seating.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Music was too loud! Everything tasted fresh. Excellent guacamole! Had chicken fajitas. Will return.

For the first time I did not feel overly saturated with heavy sauces and creams after my mexican meal. The salsa is wonderful and we added an order of guacamole (superb) to dip our chips. The baby back ribs enchilada and signature cinco burrito were delicious, fresh, filling, and lighter than what we normally expect from mexican food. We had the tres leches cake to share for dessert. Absolutely delicious. The margaritas were also great. This was the best mexican food we have ever had. Also the restaurant was pleasant, not too loud, and we had very good service.

I went to Cinco's for the first time about 2 years ago on a Monday night and it was horrible. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were too busy on their phones or talking among themselves. One was at the service counter complaining about his paycheck. We had an appetizer but it left no memory so I can't say what it was, probably calamari. I had to flag down one of the cooks to bring me more sauce. I swore I would never go back. Over priced for such bad service. Then....I won a gift certificate from the AJC and it was for Cinco's. I was less than pleased. I finally broke down and took my sons last Friday night during a Braves game. We were definitely trying to beat any game traffic. We got there around 8:20 and were greeted by 4 hostesses. We were seated immediately and were greeted by our waiter, Miguel, in less than a minute. What a super guy. He was on top of everything. Didn't rush us and didn't hover over us either. The food runners were very polite and all the staff seemed to work as a team. On top of that, Miguel had a table next to us with at least 10 people and he didn't miss a beat. I can't remember the last time I had service that good. As for the food, we had crab fritters as an appetizer. It was very good. There are only 4 pieces and we felt that they were a bit overpriced at $10. There is a glaze under them but try them without the glaze also. I could tell by the taste that Cinco's was using clean or new grease. I had the Mango Salmon, $15, cooked medium, and it was one of the best salmon dishes I have ever had. It was cooked perfectly and the salad that came with it completed the tropical theme of the dish. All of the flavors blended perfectly. One son had the chipolte-lime butterfly shrimp $15 with a tasty grit cake and the other son had the carnitas de puerco $15, which had a huge shank and the meat just fell off of the bone. The mac and cheese was good at first but fell flat before finishing it. For dessert, we had the churros, $6, and they were very good. They have a berry filling but it wasn't as noticeable as I would have liked. There were at least 6 pieces, crispy, with lots of cinnamon sugar drizzled with chocolate and extra for dipping. I had a draft beer that was served in a tall glass. It didn't seem as cold as I like and I don't think the glass was chilled. Most of these "complaints" are just a matter of taste. All the food was cooked superbly and overall, I give it 5 stars. I am a former bar and restaurant owner and it takes a lot to impress me especially when the first impression was so bad. I will be back and I will order the mango salmon.

Excellent service which easily accommodated a large group (>20). The quality of the food was exceptional; service was good. Portions are large so I recommend you go hungry!

great spot to gather pre-Braves game. quality Mexican cuisine for good value. guac is excellent and good variety of wine and tequila offerings.

We stopped by about 9pm on Saturday. The bartender was great. Drinks were good. Menu options were ok. I am a vegetarian so its harder for me to find a place with variety. This menu was mainly meat recipes. The chips and salsa were good. Atmosphere was decent.

The atmosphere is nice... cool communal tables and unique decor... the food is OK and service lacked luster.... I was alone and was sat at a booth for 6-8 people. just an ok experience. I have been there before and it was better, perhaps just an off day.

I liked the environment, the decor was nice and the service was excellent. The food was good, but a bit hot for me. But everyone else I was with enjoyed it.

Food was decent, service was good, but manager was terrible! Busy and big restaurant, but no excuse for bad management. We had a group of ten and nine of our orders were out and we finished eating before the last member of our group got her food. She then had to rush to eat it. We then told the manager about this issue which he proceeded to blame on us since we came 20 minutes late for our reservation which we called about to warn them. 10 out of 10 would not recommend!!

My family of 8 went here for Mother's Day Brunch.... Our reservation was for 12...we were seated at 12. The food...the food... the food was AMAZING. Only teenie weenie..not even a complaint really was that they did not have Hot Chocolate to eat with the Churros. Some of the best guacamole and Prime Rib I've ever had.... Our Server Corey took very good care of our family. As a matter of fact, I tipped him 50%. Even called his manager over to let her know how great the service was. Very clean...nice ambiance... I'm going back to Atlanta this weekend and this is definitely a stop I will be making.

Ok, first off the live music and service was wonderful. It was a nice place to be and the manager was great! Now on to the problem areas was the food. If you are looking for anything even close to Mexican this is NOT it! The fish tacos were like nothing I have ever seen. WAY TOO MUCH BREADING! Then I order a small plate of shrimp with a wine sauce. The plate came out looking like a plate of soup with a hard piece of cornbread in the middle. If you come here follow my instructions; go up to the rooftop grab a seat, enjoy a nice drink and the music but do not, I repeat, DO NOT ORDER DINNER!

We had pork tacos with corn tortillas, Pork shank, so tender it feel off the bone. This meal was not what I expected in Georgia, it as truly Mexican. Absolutely the best. Margaritas are also good.

The Jalapeño margaritas were excellent. The steak was cooked to perfection. Great service will return on my next trip. Dessert was also fantastic

Phenominal! Get the short ribs enchiladas and the chicken enchiladas. ... A+ on the guacamole! Sunday Brunch buffet breakfast was excellent Can't go wrong on this place. A bit loud but great great food

Went with friends who live in the area before a Doobie Brothers show at Cobb Energy. Dinner started with great chips and a smoked (not red) salsa that they make in-house by cooking the vegetables on a grill. Tuesday is $2 tacos so we all had those. Very good and service was great.

A group of us went here for dinner. They have a great rage of food and beer to choose from. The service was a little slow. I asked for a glass for my beer and it took a chase up and 5 minutes for it to arrive. The reception area is a little cramped, if they are going to make people wait there it needs to be a bit bigger. Parking right outside is good. Good acoustics in the place, conversation wasn’t drowned out by background noise. Would want to come back and try more of the menu.

This is an upscale Mexican restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious unique Mexican dishes. They offer great lunch specials. I had the lunch fajitas which were great and perfect portion. The waiter was very friendly and attentive.

We were in town for a conference, and my vegetarian friend wanted Mexican. For starters, their drink list is amazing, and we all found wonderful drinks that we really enjoyed. Multiple styles of margaritas in different strengths and flavors plus others to choose from. However, for dinner there was virtually nothing on the menu that didn't involve meat or fish. We had to special order a quesadilla with beans and cheese but it wasn't the greatest. I had shrimp quesadillas which were excellent, but didn't come with the onions that the menu said it had. Overall the ambiance was nice, the drinks good, but my vegetarian friend was unhappy which made the rest of us feel bad.

Ok so I love great mexican spots, but the food here is not so great in my humble opinion. I was not thrilled with their version of salsa, even their pico de gallo was riddled with too many onions. I wasn't thrilled with the fish tacos either. I was with a part of 3, and all of us felt the same about our menu selections. If you want excellent ambiance, service and atmosphere, this place is it.....perhaps go for the drinks at the bar! Unfortunately, they need improvement in their food quality and selections.

The food was top notch and good but not overbearing service from our waiter. Nice atmosphere and good location. Would certainly recommend for a dinner or drinks.

The best thing about this place was the specials. On Monday night we took advantage of the $3 off burrito deal. The burrito was fresh and tasty, but not spectacular. We shared cheese dip and fresh guacamole that were both very good. The cheese dip was accompanied by a small bowl of jalapenos that we added to the dip. Everyone was satisfied with their meals, but not with the drinks. Two of us got a top shelf margarita that tasted as if we were taking shots of patron. Overall, worth the money. I would try again just to try one of the interesting entrees.

Sadly Cinco’s just came up average. Service was a little slow and the buffet was fairly unappealing. It was busy but still only rated an average outcome.

This is truly Mexican with an attitude (part of their logo). The food was good but it is more spicy than other Mexican that I have eaten. They only have one kind of appetizer salsa which is hot. The wife wanted a mild salsa and was told that is it. I found the restaurant to be very noisy and loud. They really need to put up some noise suppression devices to help the restaurant environment. We had to wait more that 10 minutes for a server to come to our table which I felt was excessive. The server was nice a did attend to our needs. For the price, I did not think that the experience was equivalent. Food is spice and heavy in cumin.

Stopped for a business lunch. The atmosphere was conducive for talking and the staff was attentive. The daily specials were a great deal.

We have been there twice in 2 weeks when we went to Cobb Energy . The first time was good service was decent. Food was very good. Now the second time was fair. Food was average . The waitress was hate to say it but we were like a burdon to her. Not that we asked for anything special it was just like she didn't want to be there. also dont ask for a little extra cheese because they will charge you around 2.50to 3.50for about 2 tbls .

This is definitely better than the average Mexican restaurant in Atlanta! It does cost a little more than most of the others, but is worth it.

never had shrimp tacos that tasted that good. The chip and dips the best i ever had and great drinks

Stopped in for dinner prior to the Jeff Foxworthy show at Cobb Energy. The place was busy so we went upstairs where it is first come first serve. Grabbed a two top immediately and sat while we watch wait staff pass by several times. We finally grabbed one of the servers. He wanted to just take our drink orders but we knew better and made him take the entire order which was a good call. Many folks had to do the same. The food was good, not great. Sadly there are not many options other than burgers right there.

After being stuck in traffic while en-route to a proven Mexican restaurant, our driver suggested Cinco Mexican Cantina. The looks of the salsa should have been my first clue. Although thick, it was pretty bland. Hoping for something better, I had the guacamole (prepared fresh and actually pretty good) and shrimp enchiladas (Just ok). The service was good, my friends said the fresh lime margaritas were good, and the price was reasonable although I would not eat there again.

Stopped by for an early dinner and enjoyed a delicious flatbread and classic house margarita (or three). Sitting at the bar was able to watch the bartender multitask her way through happy hour with style and grace. Quite impressive experience at an upscale Mexican restaurant.

Had a nice lunch with one of their taco plates. The flavors were good and they had a hot salsa that tasted great. The chips were thin, but that could have been a bad batch.

Very nice inside. Service was excellent. Prices were very reasonable but I thought the food was just ok. I had the fish burrito with sauce. It was a pretty small burrito and there was not a lot of fish. I sampled my wife's meal too. She ordered some flash fried shrimp. Those were pretty tasty and also a good size but her rice and beans were only so so. The chips were very bland.

@cincoakers (Akers Mill) Was not that busy at 6pm. Took a while for food to come out. One dish was cold, one was hot. Dessert was Molton Lava cake---COLD!! Took several minutes to come out and the ice cream had melted but the cake was cold!! Server was nice and kept a check on us. Not sure if it was the kitchen or who caused the delay. Don't think I'll visit again.

Great food and classy place. The margaritas were so delicious. Had the veal quesadillas and the burrito. Delicious!

Since they just opened I thought I would give them a try. It was a night when they have $2 tacos. The service was very, very slow and the food was at best fair. The management comped some stuff when I complained but I don’t think I will try it again for a while.

The food at Cinco is good. The best part is the Sunday brunch. Lots of options for a good price. The service was also OK... It's one of those places where you feel full when you leave and think "the food wasn't bad, the price wasn't bad, the service wasn't bad, I really can't complain!

This is a pretty good attempt at Mexican food. Their combinations are interesting. For example - Smoked Salmon enchiladas were actually ok. Queso needed addition of jalapenos and then it was pretty good. Guacamole was acceptable. Beans ok. Rice good. Our server was excellent ( thanks!) Relatively new place.

The food here is pretty good but I think their best selling point would be the upstairs patio. One of the best I've been to, especially if the weather is nice. The service is good and they have a good location. Great place for Happy Hour.

We had a relaxing lunch with a couple of glasses of wine and a house margarita, chips, guacamole, and a burrito that was delicious. I would recommend it for lunch. The service was outstanding. We had a wine that we didn't like.... no problem! "Let's get you a different one"

We were running a little short in time before a show at the Cobb Energy Center. Paul was our awesome waiter. We were astounded at how he was so quick with everything we needed. Our needs were anticipated before we ever really knew them ourselves! We even timed him (without his knowledge ) of how quickly he would process our card when we paid the bill....50 seconds! The food came out so fast, all our minds were blown. It was all fresh and delicious. What could have been a stressful meal, turned into a leisurely dinner and drinks with friends. Thanks Paul!

Needed some food & a ‘Rita after a morning of shopping with my mom & sister. Googled Mexican and this gem came up. The decor is not at all a typical Mexican place but the food did not disappoint!! Lots of ooey gooey cheese and great flavor. The service was great... attentive, but not annoying. The house margaritas are average. Will try a specialty one next time. Can’t wait to go back when it warms up an sit outside on the patio.

We randomly chose this place off of our GPS for lunch. The lunch menu has a variety of options. I had the blackened chicken wrap and my husband and chicken tacos (I forgot what they were called on the menu). We both really liked our meals and found them filling. We also had cheese dip. It was simply melted white cheese like you would find in most Mexican Restaurants, but it was still good. Service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and didn't mind our questions about a few of the menu items. Our food came out after a fair amount of time (I wouldn't say quickly and I wouldn't say slow either). The quality of the food was excellent...hot food was hot. If we were staying here longer would, we would return.

I love going to Cinco when I want to go out to a restaurant close to home with great food, drinks, and reasonable prices. I love the fajitas during lunch/evening and on the weekends I love their bottomless mimosas! They have wonderful drinks and it's the main reason Cinco is my top pick...in addition to the tasty food of course. My most recent trip was for brunch with friends. I selected the buffet and bottomless mimosas and we had a ball. The service is usually good and the establishment is always clean. Parking in front of the restaurant can be crazy sometimes, but there is plenty of parking behind and next door close to Sports Authority. I really enjoy myself here when I go out with my partner and also when hanging out with friends.

Very clean and lots of ambience. Food was great. Ding room was roomy and they have a wonderful bar. There is an enclosed patio area as well as an outdoor patio.

Really enjoyed sitting upstairs. There is also outdoor seating. Nice modern/industrial interior design, nice art work and the energy is right. Staff was attentive. Appetizers were good and the drinks were spot on.

We visited this Cinco's as we were attending an event at the nearby Cobb Energy Center. We use the Cinco's in Vickery and it is excellent. As is this one, in fact it is probably better. Service was great, food super, value for money excellent. The lobster dip to start could have been a little firmer in texture as it did not cling well to the tortilla chips. The main courses though were perfect, my wife's Camarones Pueblo the best risotto she had ever had (apparently) and my Burrito Cinco wonderfully filled and very tasty. Highly recommended.

Held our company Christmas Party here and everything was just wonderful. Great food. Great service. Scott Jordan Director of Catering and Special Events made many good suggestions to plan a perfect corporate event for our group.

Stopped in with friends for lunch. Very busy which means the food had to be good. We were not Dissappointed. The Shrimp Enchaladas were tasty. The service was prompt and attentive. The place clearly has a good local following and I too will recommend.

I should start off by saying I am not a huge fan of Mexican food, but I have been to Cinco a handful of times now and have really enjoyed every visit. The most recent visit was a date night with my husband (who can be a bit of a Mexican food snob, if you will) and we both really liked the food a lot. The guacamole was some of the best we have ever had, and the chicken quesadillas are also consistently very good (but it's a large portion for just one person!). I've only ever eaten in the downstairs area, so have yet to venture to the upstairs outdoor bar area, but will definitely continue to eat at Cinco when I'm in the neighborhood!

I have eaten here several times. Each experience has been good. Most recently I ate here with 3 friends. We all liked our food. I especially liked my chicken enchiladas. They were very mildly spicy..with a mildly sweet taste. The corn that came with it was yummy. The guacamole sauce was good...although personally I'm not that fond of the sauce they serve with their complementary chips. Service was good and the atmosphere is good. A great option if you are going to the Cobb Energy Center for a show.

We were seated for 20 mins no one came to get our drinks or take our order. The table next to us received their food before they got their drinks. The hostess came out twice telling us that someone would be with us and they never came. We walked out and will never be back!

lovey place! beautiful inside and outside!! appetizers and dinner was very good! but service is not so great, waited a long time for food , they brought our appetizer but no silverware;(

Our dinner was delicious and our server Nani was great! I had the “Carne Tropical” and it was delicious. Really nice dinner. I would certainly go here again and I would recommend it to others.

The Sunday brunch is beautiful and so many choices (traditional brunch and Tex-Mex). We had a pre- theater lunch and then went to Cobb Energy performance (Cinco offered 20% discount). Perfect combination.

Very pretty interior. Food was not well seasoned. Staff was very friendly and professional. Probably wouldn't go again, but not a bad place to check out.

Dinner with my husband while in Atlanta on business. Short walk from the hotel, sat outside and enjoyed the patio atmosphere for dinner. Tracy our server was fantastic! Attentive, friendly and a lovely gal. Dinner was shrimp fajitas with sangria, frozen margaritas and flowing baskets of fresh chips and amazing salsa. The guac was also very good! Highly recommend the food and most definitely ask for Tracy! She will make your experience worth the trip!

We like the rooftop on Sundays but it's a shame the rooftop waitress sucks at her job, because we love going there but she clearly hates her job. Takes her forever to get to you and you have to flag down someone everytime for any kind of service. Fix the problem your business will make money and you'll have more repeat customers.

You can taste the freshness! The atmosphere was great along with the appropriate volume for music. The food was delicious. Couldn't ask for more. Would definitely return when I am in the area.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner prior to a show at the Cobb Energy Center. The restaurant was not very busy (Saturday @ 6:00). We were seated promptly and waited for our server. Nigel arrived, took our drink order and disappeared for 10 minutes. When our drinks arrived, we ordered the Queso Fundido with a side of pickled jalapenos. Our appetizer went by our table about 10 minutes later, circled the room we were in and then out to the servers station - evidently the "Five" staff do not yet know the table numbers. Nigel directed the staff member to our table where he plunked down the bowl (note my beer glass was empty). I asked Nigel for two small plates to accompany the appetizer. He nodded and left. While we were waiting for our plates to arrive, we decided to tempt fate and dig in. Half way thorough the app Nigel returned with one small plate. I asked him to come back with another (note my beer glass is still empty). He returned a few minutes later and took our entree order. One of the "Five" staff refilled our water glasses (but note my beer was still empty). Dinner arrives, we ask for some hot sauce and wait another 5 minutes. (note my beer glass is still empty). We ate our entrees and waited for our waiter to return, unfortunately he refuses to make eye contact with any of his tables. We finally had to go to the severs station and ask for help. Ryan was kind enough to produce our check and allow me to pay for our meal. He did not inquire about our meal or the service we received and I think you all know why. Atmosphere = OK Food = Queso Fundido = quite good; Tacos al Pastor = Bland and mealy; Shrimp Fajitas = Mediocre Service = Horrible We won't be back

I like the atmosphere of this place. Not your typical Mexican place. The salsa is great, tasted like roasted tomato. I had the Tacos Al Pastor and my husband had the chicken enchiladas verde, both were great. Next time I want to try a margarita.

We selected this restaurant for its location; we had tickets at the Cobb Energy Center that evening. Our waiter was excellent; friendly, knowledgeable, and fast but did not push us. My margherita was average; the shrimp and ahi tuna excellent. The menu is more varied than most "chain Mexican restaurants".

Love the food, but service, not so much. No one is friendly, almost cranky. Ran out of bud light draft. Manager walked by our table 20 times and never once stopped to ask how everything was.

Loved the Texas margaritas on the rocks or frozen! The atmosphere is awesome whether you are inside in the solarium or seated outside! The cheese dip and food items are all scrumptious.

The atmosphere is nice. It is a urban, hip, Mexican restaurant vibe. The lady at the counter (lobby) never greeted us. I had to ask her if she was the hostess to take our name or seat us. There was a wait due to lack of servers apparently because the restaurant was not full. Appetizer came out literally 1 minute before the food. Asked 4 times for silverware. Got the all the food and still no silverware. Waitress no where to be found or walked by and would not look at us. We had to flag a manager down to get silverware. I asked 3 times for plates for our chips and salsa...happened right after our food came out. Took 2 hours to eat dinner! It was 1/2 price quesadillas and $5 some kind of drink so the bar was loud and fairly busy. The restaurant has a high ceiling and concrete type floors so sound carries. Food was pretty good, but not memorable. Too many other places to choose in Atlanta to settle for this. I left a standard tip because it is the holidays.

We went here to celebrate a coworkers birthday.....what a mistake......took over 30 minutes to receive our drinks and then brought the wrong ones. our server, Cody missed half of our order because he never wrote it down. He was so frazzled that it was almost sad.....Service was so bad that it was to the point we either laughed or cried.....we took the high road but would never go there again....food was so-so, too! Try another Mexican don't waste your time or money here!!!

We dined at a location near Alpharetta, GA. This is the second time we have dined here with family and it was as memorable as the first. I had the Braised Short Rib Enchilada and it is just awesome. The crab bites for appetizer were good as well. They have a good variety of menu choices and a good wine list to choose from as well. If in the Atlanta area, I would highly recommend this restaurant. Much better than the average Mexican fare you usually find. Would suggest reservations, they are very busy.

Good service, food is decent. Great environment! Perfect spot to go and have a drink and grab a bite after work. This place gets really busy at peak hours, but service remains constant.

The best thing about this place is the space itself. Especially the open indoor/outdoor upstairs seating area which is really cool and rare for the area. The service is fine but nothing notable. Food is just ok, the house drinks are too sweet. The biggest problem is the unnecessary noise. They had a DJ on a Friday night with a massive speaker system. It's like they're trying to be cool and hip to draw a certain crowd but instead they're just annoying the crowd that they already have. Look around at your clientele and adjust the restaurant to them, not the other way around.

Went to Cinco's for first time. The place is very upscale but the food is lacking the decor. Had to return my food as they did not get the order right and it was not hot. The chips and salsa were good and they kept refilling them while we were there. For the price, the portions are small. Compared to other great Mexican restaurants in ATL, they need to improve their game.

We had the Guacamole and the chicken enchiladas. The guacamole was really good. Very authentic. I really enjoyed it. The chips that came with the guacamole were really crispy and fresh. The chicken enchilada was good but a bit dry. Our server was great. Very friendly and attentive.

The food here was good but I have had better Mexican food. It’s definitely “Americanized” Mexican food (Pollo Con Risotto -☺ -☺). I thought my chicken was a little dry but seasoned well. Good service. It’s good for a quick meal and you want something a little better/healthier than fast food.

The food and drinks are soooooo good!! I really enjoyed myself. Barrette was are waiter and he was so cool and nice!!

While being a very attractive restaurant, the food was ok and garnishing unappealing. Biggest disappointment was the service: not hospitable and lacking personality. The restaurant was extremely busy which could have been a factor. I would probably try again!

Group of 4 with good service on both visits, the meals were nice and the atmosphere pleasant. Prices were reasonable and serving sizes not too large. Not a big Mexican food eater but enjoyed the meals on both occasions.

Dropped in here for a few apps and drinks after work one evening. Generally, the place seemed to fill up by 7 pm. Our waiter was good and understanding that we only wanted to pick at a few quick dishes, so he didn't stalk us to badly. Chips and salsa were good, the guacamole very good and the queso dip a bit "watery" for my taste. All in all though, I would go back and definitely sample other dishes when I have the time.

Good food and good vibes. I have never had a bad meal here all the years I have been a customer. I ordered the chicken fajitas and it is plentiful. They have great specials throughout the week and the customer service remains consistent even with this pandemic. I like the fact that social distancing is practiced inside the restaurant. I was pleased to see some familiar faces when I last visited.

Went for an early dinner between work assignments. Was initially disappointed in the salsa, but very disappointed in the "crispy" fish tacos. They were soggy and mushy; covered with too much tarter sauce. The best part of my experience was when I told the server that the food was not good his response was, "I appreciate your honesty", and then he walked away. If he had given me an opportunity to respond it would have been, "and I appreciate your apathy".

My first time eating here. Service was excellent. Food a little pricy. Others had drinks. I had fish tacos. They were excellent. The place is up scale Mexican. Walked right over from hotel. Great location.

There is a mat out front that says "mexican with an attitude' - love their attitude - was great food, nice looking spread for brunch and very friendly staff. Will go again for sure. The Sunday brunch crowd was well sustained.

This place is a New Age MexAztec vibe and style restaurant. They serve Mexican style food with a twist. The irrational new age beat of the music is non Mexican and irritating. I would choose not to go back just because of the music.

Every time I have visited, I am always pleased. The service and the food is great. Keep up the good work. The guacamole, salmon salad and fish tacos are my favorite. I did not start liking guacamole until I had it at Cinco.

I've been here about 5 times thru the years and this restaurant is always consistent with good food, service and atmosphere. We ate outside and all 4 of us had different items and we all loved our food. We lingered long and the waitress never tried to rush us. The prices are good and it is really my go-to place in the Cumberland area.

I visited 'Cinco' for a light meal because it is close to the Cobb Energy Center where I was attending an event. We wanted to eat before the event, but stay close by to get in line to park. So, we ate at Cinco's. Between my daughter and I we enjoyed appetizer crab balls (excellent)! I had the chicken tortilla soup which seemed home made. It had a rich tomato based broth, lots of shredded chicken, avocado chunks and rice. Very fortifying. My daughter had chicken soft tacos filled with grilled chicken, cilantro, lettuce-very good. Served with Mexican rice and charro beans which were tasty and velvety smooth, like a flavorful bean soup. Our waiter was friendly, efficient and accommodating. This was a very good experience and I would seek it out and eat there again.

Had a nice dinner here with my family. The food was a more modern version of standard Mexican and was very good, with the Burrito Cinco being my favorite. The restaurant is a bit loud but otherwise it was a great place to eat.

Because of the great reviews online, we stopped at Cinco Mexican Cuisine on way through Atlanta to Florida. Great food and even better service. We will make this our place to stop right off of I-75 right by the new Braves stadium.

We ate here before a concert. We had a reservation and we were seated immediately. The Texas margarita was good according to my wife. She had a burrito bowl which was quite good. I had a combo meal with corn, beans, chalupa, soft taco and chicken enchilada. Mine was good except for the enchilada which was incredibly dry and tough - the worst enchilada I have ever had. Overall I thought it was a good place to eat. I would definitely eat there again if in the area. I would just avoid the chicken enchiladas.

Cinco has beautiful dining areas and two bars - one indoor one outdoor. Their wine list was a pleasant surprise and my friend had a delicious margarita. The food and service were not impressive. Very basic Mexican dishes that were overpriced. Atlanta has plenty of Mexican restaurants to choose from so you can afford to be picky. $12 per person.

This place is just plain terrible. It is very noisy. The food comes way too fast - appetizer is delivered and 30 seconds later they bring out the entrees. The food is bland - maybe one step above fast-food take-out. This was our first time at Cinco Mexican Cantina. We chose it due it’s location near the Cobb Energy Performing Art Center. We would never return. If this is the only place you get Mexican Food - just give up Mexican Food - because this is not representative of that type of food at all!!!

We left a local 'favorite' Mexican parking lot in favor of this location. We were pleasantly surprised. They brought delicious charred salsa!! The margaritas were fabulous! The waiter, Jose', was a doll. We were treated well and extremely pleased with our meal (just soup for me an an appetizer for my friend).

We were in Atlanta during the first week of June and ate here three times. We could walk easily from the embassy suites. Sunday evening they had live entertainment on their balcony area and he was great. Cinco's has a really good salsa that is made with grilled ingredients and it's awesome. We had lunch one day and then we came back Friday night with another couple, but the balcony area was full so we opted for dinner int the restaurant area. Great margaritas and great food Have not had a bad experience here yet!! Will definitely eat here again

My wife and I recently had lunch here and really enjoyed ourselves. I had the Cubana sandwich and my wife had the burrito combo. The service was very good and attentive. Drink refills along with chips and salsa were plentiful. Our food was very good good, if not a bit expensive. Overall we really enjoyed Cinco and plan to return again!

Disappointed. The service was weak, maybe because the waiter was covering too many tables. Appetizers were brought with the main dish, which was barely warm by the time we got to it. The chicken in my dish was way overcooked and rubbery. I would have sent it back, but we had tickets for a nearby show and didn’t have the time to wait. They got my wife’s order wrong, so we had to wait for that correction. When we got the check, they charged twice for one item — another delay. What made this disappointing is that there used to be a Cinco’s near my home (closed a few years ago) and it was pretty good. At this location everything was just mediocre.

Good meal with friends. The food was good and the service was very quick. Had one mixed drink which took a little while but was worth the wait. Over all seams like a decent vibe with good food. I would return though it wasn't my favorite meal wile in Atlanta.

The restaurant was chosen as it was very close to the Cobb Energy Center. The décor was very contemporary and similar to a lot of restaurants today with high ceilings and lots of concrete. We were seated next to a fountain that added to our dining experience. The menu was very difficult to read, as the font size was way to small for any diner. I mentioned this to the server, and he indicated he had other complaints about the size of font. I truly do not understand this, since there was plenty of white space on the menu that would allow for a larger font. The menu items we ordered were a burrito and a quesadilla were very tasty and we enjoyed each morsel. We would return again to enjoy another menu item, but hopefully, by then the menu font size will be larger and easier to read.

This restaurant was next to our hotel. We walked over because they had live music. We enjoyed the entertainment an the food was excellent.

This was our first ever foray into 'upscale' Mexican food. And "yes" is did cost a lot more and "yes" the surroundings are much more fancy than your average Mexican restaurant. But, The food was very good, service also was great. Please make a reservation before walking in the door, we waited a long time for a small little table. This is most definitely an "UPSCALE" place, with upscale prices and spicy menus items, which were great. Might be a good place for a late night date.

We had dinner at Cinco before a concert at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center. It is an easy walk (about 1-block) from Cinco to CEPAC. It was a busy Saturday night and we did not have a reservation but we were okay sitting at the bar. We had a nice dinner. The food was very good and also a good value. The people behind the bar were very nice.

I went to dinner here with a friend and enjoyed the decor and ambiance. I was particularly fond of the lighting and the large Olmec head in one of the rooms. The food was great and a step up from the average Tex-Mex place and the prices were only slightly higher. The drink selection is also worthwhile. Would definitely go back.

I love this place... I've only been twice, but I fell in love my first visit... Nice place, great food. The blue cheese and steak quesadilla is my favorite.. The only reason I'm not giving a totally great review is because my second and most recent visit (11/22) I was robbed. I ordered my quesadilla to go and paid with my card. Total with the tip was $15... I went to look at my account today and the establishment charged $25.98 to my card! How?? The meal was around $13 so how did I end up being charged almost double?! Not kool.. And if I could find my receipt, I'd go directly back to them and demand my refund, but since I technically have no proof, I decided to warn people instead. So just a general takeaway from my situation, anywhere you go and pay for your food with a card, make sure your receipt with the tip is clear and that you keep that customer copy until you see the correct charge on your account. This is something I normally do but I dropped the ball on this one, so I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. They still have great food tho, and nice enough staff, I'll just make sure to use cash every time I go.

This place has very good Mexican food. It has a wide variety of dishes at decent prices. I sat at the bar and received excellent service.

This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had in a very long time. First there was a big poster in the lobby advertising $5 off of any Tito's drink. So I asked for a Bloody Mary and the waitress said she didn't think they had them. Then I asked for the TitoRita, at which time I was told the discount didn't apply to that drink. So I told the waitress how crazy it was to offer a discount on Tito's drinks only to learn that it didn't apply to the one I wanted. The waitress would not speak loudly enough for us to hear her, even after we asked her to speak up. Then my fajitas came, and they were decent, but the beans and rice were room temp, not even warm. She asked if I wanted her to bring new ones (she had to ask?) and when she did they were also room temp. So I asked for the manager and carry out box so I could take the food home and heat it. The manager didn't have a clue. I'm not even sure he understood me. Then he tried to tell me that it wasn't my fault (really?). So I told him I was going to go on line and write about this very disappointing (birthday) experience and he said okay. It seemed like it was going to be a good place, but there are so many great restaurants around I will never go back to this one.

Enjoyed the food, excellent flavors. The chips and salsa are fabulous. Great decors and atmosphere. I will return again.

Nice atmosphere, good service and very tasty entrees! Visited recently with several of our neighbors and we had a delightful time! Everyone was pleased with their food choice.

This is simply the best brunch in Atlanta for only $20. That says a lot for a city loaded with world famous restaurants. It was something for everyone (including vegan). Seeing is believing! All I can say is go!!!!!!

We went to this place last year and it was great! This time we had the worst server i have ever experienced anywhere!! The place felt like it wasn’t the cleanest. The margaritas were not enjoyable. And the food has lost all that made it special. From favorite to biggest disappointment in 6 months. Sad! Focus on quality!

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. It feels high-end but the prices are reasonable for a nice dinner out. The guacamole was great. My friends said the house margarita was really good as well. The location makes it an especially good choice for getting dinner before or after a show at the Cobb Energy Center. We will set be back!

I recently visited with a work colleague - it had been several years since my last visit. We were seated at a table next to the fountain, which was pleasant. The chips and salsa were good, and service was friendly and efficient. I had the "burrito cinco" which is available as a wrap, or in a bowl, which is what I had. It was a layer of rice, with bite sized pieces of chicken, black beans, pico de gallo, and some shredded cheese in a spicy ranchero sauce with some sour cream drizzled on top, and some thinly sliced avocado. I thought the portion size rather small when they put it in front of me, but it ended up being just the right size for lunch. At $12 however, I think it's overpriced. My colleague had short rib enchiladas which he said were good, but not outstanding. I agree with others who have said they think the prices are high here for what you get. I like some spice to my food, but my dish was definitely on the spicy side, which doesn't appeal to everyone. I'll return, but there are too many other excellent Mexican restaurants in the area for this to warrant a spot in my general rotation.

We tried to get into a restaurant close by, and we had a table booked, but the traffic was backed up onto the interstate! With twin newborns on board, the day was beginning to look like a bust! But we called Cinco, and they were able to work us in. We had a great experience at Cinco. The staff were very accommodating, all our food was enjoyable and we had one of the best waitresses ever!

We dropped by to grab a bite before a concert not knowing quite what to expect. After being rudely turned away because we didn't have a reservation by the hostess I asked if there was surely a place we could simply get a drink. The downstairs bar was full so we headed to the heated rooftop bar and found a great table for two. The mushroom and spinach quesadilla, house special margaritas and queso were all wonderful. So glad I didn't leave after an awful first impression.

Great upscale Mexican cuisine. Contemporary atmosphere with great preparation of dishes with a great presentation.

This is an amazing restaurant that does an excellent job of bringing unique dishes that burst with flavor!

Go in good and hungry because the food portions are HUGE! You MUST get the guacamole! It's out of this world!

I had fish tacos. Crispy fish was a little overcooked and had little flavor. There was very little slaw and almost no sauce. So tacos turned out flavorless and dry. Cocktail was actually too strong even though I prefer strong but this was too much. So overall nothing that I'd come back for.

I go there all the time. High volume with surprising quality control. Great rooftop for live music. Margaritas go above and beyond. What's not to like?

This place blows me away every time I go there. I love their upstairs dining experience, which is open with a stunning view of Smyrna on warmer days, but this night my friend and I were seated inside due to a reserved party upstairs. The entire place has a great upscale vibe to it with modern trappings and modern takes on Mexican art. Our booth was comfortable and though in an open area still felt cozy. I honestly don't remember what it is I ordered, but I remember the foodgasm of it. It was some kind of well-roasted pork, served with tiny quesadillas and a pasta. The meat just dripped off the bones and was sumptuous (that's right, I said it, SUMPTUOUS). Our service was prompt, friendly and attentive. I don't even remember what my friend had but I took half of what I had home and enjoyed it again later. Honestly, if you're looking for a unique dining experience in the Smyrna/Cumberland area, go to Cinco's!!

I was visiting from Ohio, the steak fajitas was cooked to perfection. Nice service, hippy vibe space.

This place started me to eating guacamole. Before having their guacamole, I wouldn't touch it. No other restaurant can beat the taste. Their food is the best and the prices are reasonable unlike another restaurant in that area.

I was in Atlanta for a softball tournament want to eat some Mexicana found this restaurant close to hotel and it was worth it. Great service, great food and drinks. We had the chicken tortilla soup and steak burrito both were great a little disappointed they did not have the chocolate mousse but next time. Next time in Atlanta will come for sure. Great location. They also have an upstair bar.

Great service. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Salsa is awesome! The pork tacos were very good, as were the $5 Texas margaritas!

My friend and I went to grab a quick bite before the Opera. We ordered soup and a salad. We waited one hour, no food. Spoke to the manager. No food, no apologies. We left baffled, as everyone around us received their food.

Totally awesome experience before our show at The Battery. Cinco offers Mexican cuisine prepared by professional chefs. Will not disappoint and be sure to have the crab cheese dip.

This restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel. The service was efficient. You get a bowl of nacho chips & dip as soon as you sit down. I had a burrito & soup. The draft beer selection was limited as they were having trouble with their machine. The food was lovely. My friend had a burrito as well but no drink. WIth tip the bill was less than $35. I would return.

Great atmosphere, yummy food and delicious drinks. The restaurant has a regular dining area that seemed pretty packed when we walked in but they also have an outside rooftop bar area that you can eat, drink, or just hang out and enjoy live music. We had the steak quesadillas and Ahi tuna Totopos. Both were full of flavor and zest. The guacamole was savory and tantalizingly delicious. This is on MUST visit list for future trips to Atlanta!

This place is a jewel. The airy spacious open area, to wait for friends or families is great. The hostess was very friendly. The menu is great, lots of good choices. We had a table of 8. The drinks were very good, no one complained. Food let’s go there 8 different meals and empty plates. The chips were fresh, crispy with a nice salsa. I have the steak and blue cheese bowl, it was perfect. Meat was medium and very great flavor. We should have taken photos. Next time we will. Only complaint is no military discount to retirees or military not in uniform.

The live music on the roof was awesome! That is a nice area. The chips and salsa was not good. The drinks were good, but it is pretty hard to mess up bottled beer. I would return for the music, but not the food.

We had an enjoyable evening with a friend just returning from Australia. The food is all magnificent and the Margherita' are the best. The food is actually enough to share.

The place was very busy when we came. The server took approx 5 minutes to show up to take our drink order. After we ordered drinks, it took so long to get that I actually stopped another waiter to ask if they could get us our drinks. The food was just OK, nothing to write home about. Seemed fresh. Overall, this was not a very good experience for us and we would not go back. Unless it was free. They have a cool looking outdoor patio up top which we did not get to see because we had our child in a stroller with us.

The atmosphere creates a nice upscale vibe for Mexican. The food is very good. The salsa is not that great. Chips are fine. We all enjoyed our meals...three grilled chicken salads, fish tacos, beef burrito, beef nachos and kids chicken fingers!

This was the absolute worst dining experience I’ve ever had in my life. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy. We had 6pm reservations. Our drink order wasn’t taken until 6:20pm. Our food had not arrived by 7:30pm and we had a show to see at 8pm. When we asked where our food was we were told it was still being cooked. We asked to speak to a manager four times; we had another waiter come over and pretend like he was. He thought he was doing us a favor by not including the food on the bill - the food that we NEVER received. When I told him I wasn’t going to pay for it anyway he told me he was going to CALL THE POLICE!! Are you freaking serious?!? My husband and I were treating my parents to dinner to celebrate my father’s 65th birthday. All he got were chips and a smokey salsa. I asked for the “pretend manager’s” name and he refused to give it to me. He was a light skin African American with tight braids and a beard. He was the epitome of rude, threatening me and my family. All because we would have liked to have our food in less than 1 hour and 30 minutes. Are you serious?? It was the absolute worst service with the most demeaning person to pretend to be a manager. I hope to God no one ever has the same experience we had tonight.

Food is very good, large portions. Nice ambience. Costs a little more but well worth it in my opinion. Upstairs Terrace is nice in the evening for drinks and live music, but not for conversation. Great lunch spot also.

I dined here on a Sunday night. It was not crowded, however you would have thought it was the height of the busiest time at the restaurant based on the service I received. The server took my order and my food arrived in a timely manner but he never returned to ask me how my meal was, if I needed anything else, or to give me the check. I had to ask for the check and then waited and waited and waited for him to take my payment. I finally gave up and started to walk out to pay at the bar and literally ran into him. He ran my credit card at the servers' station, gave me the credit card slip to sign, and disappeared before I could even hand it back to him. The restaurant was nice-it has rooftop dining, outdoor seating, and the inside dining area was nice, as well. The food was good, however, I will never return based on the horrible service I received.

I can tell by the first bite of chips and salsa if the Mexican restaurant will live up to my standards. Sadly, the salsa was tasteless. We needed to ask for hot sauce to bring in some flavor and it still lacked taste. The fajitas were just average but they were served hot in temp. The waiter asked how I wanted my fajita steak- I asked for medium rare and it came out well done. Then staff was friendly. There were two booths near us that were missing the full seat cushions-they only had backs. This was an odd sight. We do not plan to return again considering the fact that Chipolte is in the same shopping center.

Amazing salsa and chips and Quesdillas... I really enjoy the live band and the roof top experience. They are generous with drinks and the management is excellent. Clean with great customer service...

Great upscale Mexican restaurant. Enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and value. It was all very enjoyable. Would consider going back if we lived in the area.

Cinco has a great menu - a bit more upscale options than other mexican restaurants. Their service is typically very good. We've been there for lunch and you can get in and out in an hour easily. Dinner and margarita's are really good too. Outdoor seating is available.

It's worth the trip just for the Guacamole. It's $9 and sooooooo good. So fresh so perfect. My entree wasn't great. I ordered pork tacos that were supposed to have grilled pineapples and the pineapples weren't fresh so it was a let down for me. The rice and black beans were good. The manager asked me why I didn't eat my food but didn't offer to take it from the bill. My fiancée got chicken and steak fajitas and they also weren't what we were expecting but they were ok. I almost wish I would have gotten a vegetarian option because everything but the meat was good in both our meals.

It was OK but I found the food expensive but lacking in flavor. I asked the bartender what the chef in the center of the restaurant was doing because it looked good but she just said 'Oh, that's salads.' With a grill? I would have been more interested if they actually explained what was going on but I don't think they thought of our visit as very significant. They were nice but were not really engaging with us the customers. The menu was limited but also expensive.

I ate here for lunch about 2 weeks ago with some friends. The environment was nice and clean. The staff was friendly, but appeared over worked. We did not get the appetizer were order. As for the food, I like it and I would go back again.

Relax or "get in and out"...we chose the latter, given our schedule. the waiter was prompt, friendly and totally responsive to our need to have a rather quick repast. Corn tortilla fajitas...very nice. Fresh chips, and plenty. Mild, tasty salsa. Very nice. There was also a business meeting at a nearby table, about 10 people, not disturbing, and hearing is easy, even in large numbers.

Wait was about 15 minutes on a Friday night at 8PM. Service was adequate, although we did have to track down silverware. Food was really good - the chimichanga was excellent. Portions were reasonable. Free chips and salsa were nice. Overall, good value for the price.

Friendly staff - lots of festive choices on the menu - excellent margaritas (be sure it's top shelf) - delicious meal! Will return!

This was my first time there and it was nice. Food was very good and so were the drinks. ! They do add the tip on your receipt when it's time to pay. But other than that it good! Service was excellent 😊

The atmosphere of Cinco is quite nice, they have live bands on the room occasionally and it's one of the "hotspots" for going on a date with that special someone, so I decided to take my husband one night after a show at the Cobb Energy theater. The service was extremely slow, and the food was more like the quality I would have found at a fast food chain. We had queso and the cheese was so cold it wouldn't even scoop. I could have gotten better Mexican food at a Taco Bell. The drinks were overly sweet and tasted more of cheap mixers than alcohol. I definitely will not be returning.

Ate here before going to a show at the Cobb Energy Center. Pretty crowded when we went but service was prompt and friendly. Food was good, plentiful and served quickly. Margarita selection is very large and watch out, they are strong too. Overall very nice dinner experience. Will try it again another time!

I went here for lunch with co-workers (corporate card). Place is always packed but the service was good. Only issue I have is the food is not really Mexican/Latin and worse-it is not good in general. The chips were below average, the cheese dip was worse than than Velveeta (nothing wrong with Velveeta-I love it). The guac was good. The arbol salsa was weird. I ordered the burrito grande and I will not order it again. Ordered chicken but got beef-not big deal. Very little meat mixed with beans and some weird orange sauce. Beans on the side were awful and rice was flavorless. And-everything was lukewarm. I only go here for company events-I would not personally spend a dollar here outside of have a beer on the rooftop cantina.

Decent food, not the best I've had. Drinks are good. Also Sunday brunch is popular. A little pricey, but a lot to select from. May go back during warmer month for rooftop seating and music. Should be better experience.

Really good on every visit. We've been many times, and the quality has been consistent. The salsa is outstanding. It can get very crowded, so plan accordingly.

We had a group of approximately 15 here for dinner. I had the chicken enchiladas, with roasted corn and beans. At $8.99 it was a great value. Everything was very good and everyone seemed to enjoy what they have.

I always enjoy going to Cinco for happy hour. They have great solo musician playing and a busy crowd. I love their Pomegrate Margarita. Great dishes too.

Next door to the Embassy Suites, recommended by the staff. Excellent food, atmosphere and service. The enchaladas were wonderfer and so were the beans.

Went alone to avoid rotten holiday traffic. Sat alone at the upstairs bar - had a margarita and Carne Tropical Skirt steak and shrimp on a pineapple with spinach and corn risotto. Side of crisp veggies instead of the usual muck. Homemade salsa with free chips. Great service, delightful setting, creative food. Great value, even. Excellent. I'll be back.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I went for lunch to meet a couple friends the week before Christmas. I was most impressed with how beautiful the facility was. There is also a very large bar area separate from a more quieter seating area. I found my burrito dish very fresh tasting - a bit spicier than I normally prefer but very tasty. Service was very good. It is very expensive for lunch, however. My entree with a soft drink and tip was $18.

Arrived early, got seated immediately and waitress arrived soon thereafter. Signature margarita was good. If you get a pitcher, better have a designated driver. Chips and salsa was warm and okay. Asked for hotter sauce and they responded in kind. Boy was it hot and great. We mixed it with our mild salsa to temper it a bit and was wonderful. Waitress was new so could not tell us about drink specials. However, if we had looked, there was a drink special menu on the table. Food was great. I ordered veggie fajita and they provided it piping hot with lots of peppers, onions, other veggies. Black beans came with it and was good-simply prepared but tasted good. My husband ordered chicken fajita and he thoroughly enjoyed it since he finished his. His fajita came with pinto beans. He said it was good. Both dishes included rice, guacamole and salsa and they were all freshly prepared--not those that have been sitting around for a while. Note: both types of beans were served in a bowl in a soup type of fashion-very thick and tasty. One note, after our food came, the waitress forgot about us. But that was okay since we really did not need any help. We will definitely go here again.

Really liked this place. Service was great and food even better. Had the passion fruit margarita and it was ok. Salmon plate with the potato jalapeño cake dish was delicious, absolutely no presentation, and after that margarita really didn't care.

I honestly go here for the cheap but stiff drinks, and the roasted dip! Goodness this is THEE best salsa dip this side of Mexico, and you get one free with chips per visit. There are several drinks to try at a reasonable price. "The Banana" is smooth and tasty. I have been here four times and they've yet to have the bacon bourbon in stock so that I can try the Bacon Old Fashion, it sounds interesting. There is no Crown Apple if you love that, either. My usual is the Swirl (frozen margarita with Lambrusco: think Coronarita but with wine). If you're going to dine, the chicken empanadas and the shrimp fajitas are good to go. There were drink specials M-F prior to Cinco de Mayo but I suppose since it's now high season they won't return until Fall. I've only done the bar here, but the indoor ambiance is very nice, perfect for groups, and the upstairs patio seems to be a crowd favorite. Plan on parking far from the establishment.

We bring family and friends for the Sunday brunch every year for my Birthday. It's great with little ones, we sit in the sunroom, and enjoy the openness and sunny area. The price went up from last year and the selection was not as it was last year. The all day mimosas are OK..but I don't drink and after three drinks I didn't feel a thing ! ! ! ! ! Prime rib was dry and overcooked thanks to rewarming it on the grill. Shrimp enchilada was fab...and personal omelets were great but needed onions as an added option. Waffle toppings were loved by all. Guacamole was too spicy for me...but great chunks... Our server, a woman, not the listed one on the receipt was great. My daughter had a broken foot with a boot on & two children under 5 - and our lady server would help carry her food for her and help in anyway..including searching us out to ask about mimosa refills... I did not like the fact that they added the gratuity automatically..we would have left more than the 20% because of the gracious lady server... but it was added it to the bill before we got it... --- some thought 20% for a buffet was a bit much.... Because of the changes we probably won't go back...unless we go to see a show at eh Cobb Energy Center. We live in Dawsonville and to travel to Atlanta - it has to be a special place. This one is not special anymore.

My wife and I dined for dinner at Cinco Mexican. We were seated and our drink orders quickly taken by a very nice waiter. He was very courteous in answering several of our questions about the menu. Salsa and chips were very good. Salsa was not the typical red color but a brown color and was very tasty. My wife and I both ordered fajitas and agreed these were some of the better fajita dinners we had eaten anywhere. Steak and chicken were both very good, tender, and tasty. Atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was good. Would definitely eat there again. Also located close to where we stayed in the Galleria section.

Had lunch and have to say the food was just so-so. Nothing special, nothing outstanding, nothing memorable.

The menu has all of the standard Mexican restaurant offerings you would expect but nothing to really set it apart from any other restaurant of its type. Everything was well prepared and quite tasty. I had a jalapeno margarita that was very good but a bit pricey. The atmosphere is quite nice. They did a good job making it feel more upscale than most Mexican restaurants. Our waitress was the weak link in the experience. She was extremely young and rather inexperienced. She did not know much about the food menu and couldn't explain the difference between the different types of margaritas. She disappeared once the food arrived and only returned when I asked another server for our bill.

If you like mexican food close to the Cobb Galleria then I highly recommend this place. Great food, frozen margarita's and live music some nights of the week.

I was totally satisifed with the entire meal, but my wife was not - too spicy for her. Easy walk from the Embassy Suites, but actually a very, very congested area. Only reason we picked this restaurant was the convenience.
Drinks are great; food OK
We've been to Cinco many times during visits to the Cobb Performing Art Center. The food is OK, but the margaritas are really good.
