The fish was cooked to perfection accompanied by well prepared sides. The service was spot on... Attentive yet not over bearing. Try the lentils. Soooo good.

Dinner for two before walking to Seattle Symphony impressed us from beginning to end. Carpaccio and a bottle of supertuscan followed by fettuccine with rabbit and rigatoni with wild boar and finished with espresso and tiramisu. Pretty standard Italian fare but the rich and deep complexity of flavors and textures was artful. Highly recommended! We will return!

This was my second time here. All of the apps were super tasty. I think I tried every one of them. Loved Polpo Mario- grilled octopus and mashed potato. For desert get the Affogato (espresso over homemade ice cream). You can get Family Style servings here. I think we tried pretty much everything on the menu as we had a big group. The lamb shanks were awesome, pasta was fresh--(I didn't try because I am gluten free); however, I was stuffed when I left. Ask for GF selections. The oysters were so fresh and the taste was PNW with a deep ocean taste. Delish! We tried all the oysters and they were all awesome. Branzino with honey to round out the experience.

Wow! Owned and run, hands-on, by a first generation Italian immigrant family from Napoli, this restaurant serves some of the best Italian food we’ve eaten outside of Italy. And we’ve been to Italy several times. So, what makes it so special? Start with the bread, home-made using Mama’s recipe. By far the best we’ve ever had, and difficult not to fill up on. Our starters were a generous serving of 20-months-aged prosciutto and fresh, fresh burrata, seasoned perfectly. For our mains, we had chicken cutlet parmigiana with linguini in a red sauce and asparagus, and the chicken was fork-tender; as well, house-made pesto parmigiana, and ricotta. All the pasta is house-made, and perfectly cooked. Then…tiramisu. The best tiramisu we have ever had. And that includes in Italy. Top that off with wonderful, friendly service: our waiter was Headley, who could charm the socks off you; kind and efficient Carrie provided additional service; and the owner, who was right into everything from serving to checking to see that all was well. If you are in Seattle, do not miss this great restaurant. Have a look at their menu online. You will have a hard time choosing, and a hard time finishing.

I just had dinner at the restaurant With my granddaughter I live in Los Angeles and it was my first experience at this restaurant and I was looking forward to it The service was horrendous and ruined my dinner and evening Food came cold requests for bread and wine were totally ignored I will never visit this restaurant again

Excellent Italian restaurant in Seattle. Chosen by our daughter and a friend who are new to Seattle and are experiencing all the restaruants they can find, this was an excellent choice. Delicious fresh food with homemade pasta. Friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating provded. You wo't go wrong with this choice.

We came over for happy hour and I was not as impressed as I have been at Barolo (their sister restaurant). They have a pretty large happy hour menu with prices similar to Barolo, but I didn't think the food was as good. They have a larger bar area so if you can't get into Barolo, this would be a decent 2nd plan B.

The restaurant is just starting out and has only been opened for a month. The chef has a few restaurants in the area and decided to open a new one. I thought the decor and the restaurant had a great feel to it. It's also enormous. The service was good, but it seemed like the staff was a bit new and didn't know the entire menu (though there was practically an interrogation because some of the menu items were a bit...well...pretentious). The wine was great, to be honest, it was the best part of the meal. I ordered a salad and the gnocchi with mushrooms. The salad was meh, and the gnocchi was just okay, honestly. The reduced sauce that the gnocchi was in tasted a bit "dirty" for a lack of a better word - it was not delicately done, which gnocchi should be. It wasn't too complicated (which is good), but the simplicity wasn't done well at all. The gnocchi were also a bit heavy. It was good, but not great (despite the criticisms I'm writing). As a vegetarian, I did not taste the penne with crab, nor the polpo, which my family had gotten for dinner. I heard that similarly, they were good, but not worth the money that they cost. The restaurant needs some more work in the kitchen or they will fail under those prices. It was above average food, but for the cost, it was just average.

Especially the prosciutto and burrata cheese, and the dessert with salted caramel gelato. The focaccia bread was great too!

Got into Seattle from Florida , looking for a nice , small healthy meal. My son who moved out to Seattle last Fall, was eyeing this 'Farm to Table" Italian Restaurant so we decided to walk a couple of blocks and give it a try. Great choice is you can appreciate the freshness of the meats. pastas and vegetables. We started out with a delightfully tangy Carpaccio di manzo, with Wagyo beef from Snake River Farms topped with shaved aged parmigiana, minced horseradish and rucula ( we know it as arugula). A delicate , mouth watering shaved beef that just became part of your tongue as soon as you took a bite. This opening plate was shortly followed by a special vegetable opener of braised brusell sprouts , drizzled with some balsamic glaze and layered with a healthy dose of double smoked ( and thick ) bits of bacon. This tasted great but would have preferred a little more cooked to a crispy , crunchy bite. For our main meals, the four of us all tried a dish with had one of the homemade pastas. The Spaghetti con polpettine di vitello (spicy , simmered ground veal) was a well conceived plate for each bite that was shared tasted equally good, but slightly different. One was herbal ( basil, I think), One you could appreciate the semolina texture and the other the full veal stock scent. Two of us ordered the Gnocchi al sumo di carne which combined beef and veal in a lasagna style thickness of sauce that was combined elegantly in large plump gnocchi that you would like to use a knife to cut. I wanted to try a special pasta and found a pancetta dusted, truffle oil gnocchi that happen to come with a large Maine Lobster tail that was gently grilled so as to not dry it out too much. But the gnocchis , man o man, Medure restaurant back in Florida has to get this recipe! A great evening of healthy, tasty food !!!

Outstanding new restaurant in Belltown in the heart of the Amazon complex. Great food and service. We has the Italian style pork cheeks with sausage and a fine chianti. The food and the service were outstanding. Plan on using valet parking.

Came here on business and it wasnt that good. I got the fish. There was only one other thing to choose from. It was not fulfilling. The appetizers werent that good. Our table was right in the middle of all the hussle and bustle.

Our waiter took the time to talk about the food, the wine and the restaurant and generally, make us feel welcome. We had a lovely table, close to the open kitchen so we could watch the chefs and also the drama around the pizza oven. Very entertaining!! Interesting menu, with some different choices. Not often do you see grilled squid and octopus. It was difficult to choose. The stand out appetizer was the crostini with anchovies and ricotta. The main, a whole grilled fish was superb. Complimentary sparkling water and bread baked in house, very nice touches. A reasonably priced bottle of Italian red completed the meal. No room for dessert but maybe next time. Quite acceptable to have several small dishes or just a pizza. One of the best meals we had in Seattle.

I went to Cinque Terre Ristorante for a team dinner. Our table was far in a corner. Fine for privacy but the lights where so dimmed that was barely possible to read the menu. The gnocchi were good but nothing to remember or talk about. The salad was just ok. The steak was good but we were not asked about preferences on the level of cooking, I understand they might know the right level of cooking but you should always ask you customers. The overall service was just ok, sometimes a little but to invasive. We were interrupted at least three times during our conversation for some - not really needed - questions. The prices are way above the average and not in line with the offering. In the end we had good food in a nice location with below average service. Gnocchi and wines were the only Italian thing throughout the entire dinner. I would not visit again.

This restaurant is across the street from Barolo in one of the new high rises. It is owned by the same people as Barolo and has a happy hour similar to the one across the street - super deals on wine by the glass and 50% off bar food during HH. Sitting outside on a summer evening = perfect :-)

I had dinner at this restaurant. The food quality was not good enough for the price I paid. And the service was very poor. We got seafood entrees that included clams, mussels and shrimp. Did not get a plate or bowl to put the shells in and had to pile them on our plates. After asking a couple of times I finally got a bowl along with some rudeness from the water. I understand he was busy. Would have been fine if he had just said that he would bring it after taking care of other requests before us. The food and service spoilt my evening. Not going back.

Pesto and pasta made in house daily. Supporting local farm, fisheries and food sources is the mission at Cinque Terre. The space is open and clean including an upstairs but still reminds you that they own Barolo, Mamma Melina and List with how it's furnished and some of the menu items just with a different take. The vibe is right for this area. We went for lunch today. Started with the Polpo - Marinated Mediterranean octopus for $9. Nicely portioned just lacked a little acidity the sauce was was almost too basic considering how beautiful the octopus was. Main's consisted of the Casarecce al pesto - Housemade pesto for $16 simple, basic but tasty and just what I wanted. The pasta was amazing. My lunch date had the Margherita pizza - Buffalo mozzarella, Sanmarzano, Brazil for $14 I asked him how it was and his only feedback was that it could've been cooked a little more especially the crust for Italian pizza. Two of the owners looked back twice when it was delivered so I wish they would've said something if that's not how they intend to serve it. They also have a raw bar I saw a plate of Crab legs and Oysters pass and would like to go back and give it a try especially if they are on happy hour. Barolo and List are known for their Happy Hours so I am excited to see what Cinque Terra has to offer. The wine list was littered with mostly Italians which I enjoy especially the Rose I had for $9 along with California and Washington. The glass price started at $8 with the Perrier Joulet Champagne at $20 a glass. The bottle price point was very reasonable. You get the feeling they know what they are doing, what sales and how to market what they serve. Great experience with a wonderful waitress and I look forward to returning especially since it's a block from where I live.

Superlatives abound: from the foccaccia with superb olive oil to the gelato, interspersed by tasty appetizers and multiple tempting main dishes. Zuppa di pesce extraordinary. Everything first class. Ultra - heplful server Bobby suggested just the right wine pairing. Going back asap.

Wonderful service provided by Vivian. Pizza and Caesar salad were delicious. It was a birthday celebration and made even better with the wonderful tiramisu.

Came here with two business colleagues. I wanted to order clam chowder but they only offer clam chowder pizza. The other choice was the seafood soup (Zuppa di Pesce) which consisted of lobster clams, mussels, octopus, prawn, MSc Wilde Alaskan police and calamari. It was delicious. Dipping the bread in the sauce is highly recommended!

From start to finish the staff and food where outstanding. The grilled Octopus was to die for! I will go back the next time I am in Seattle!

I was solo for lunch and it was freezing outside, what’s a traveler to do? Cinque Terra has a large bar that’s seldom crowded at lunch, yet serves the same exquisite Italian regardless of where you’re seated and sitting bar side is not only warm its interesting entertainment. Next time your standing in line for a $10 sandwich at one of Seattle’s overcrowded food trucks, ditch the crowds and come here. For a few dollars more and get a complete dining experience.

Had two Italian food sophisticates visiting from out of state. Have eaten here before with the Amazon Happy Hour crowd on a couple of pleasing occasions so we took my old friends here for a Sunday night dinner. Everyone was very satisfied. My favorite plate was some Carapacio with Aruglia greens. A wonderful first course as was a similar plating of Prosciuto. My main course was wild boar ravioli with a beautiful bolognese like sauce. My daughter had a beautiful shrimp pasta dish with a creamy sauce. A fine meal for all of us!!

Headed over to Cinque on a recommendation by the Four Seasons concierge. We wanted to go somewhere casual but still delicious Italian/ seafood. The service at the restaurant was excellent; staff are all friendly and helpful. Our waitress Christina was really nice and add some recommendations. My husband started off with a side salad(huge) liked it so much he asked for a second one. He also had the branzino fish with a side of gluten free pasta. I had the pesto pasta with ricotta cheese. Super yummy. We order some wine while we waited and had some yummy bread with some Kind of olive oil chili. Wow!! Everything was excellent.

Had business dinner here Starters Oysters and crab legs were v fresh and delicious we ended up ordering two portions The 2 plates of Saute vegetables were way too salty but we noticed most food in Seattle always had too much salt anyway Desserts were good - penna cotta, profiterole and a tart. Overall great food but quite pricy - $80 per head for group of 4 - we had no mains.

It was hard to get a table for five early on a Wednesday evening and having sampled the food, I find it difficult to understand why as the food wasn't exactly fine dining material, just a dubious take on what Americans think of as Italian cuisine - writing the menu in pidgin Italian doesn't make it more authentic. I had cuttlefish with greens and chick peas with kale and both were okay. Apparently they make their own pesto every day and I'd have liked to try it but there was no dish containing pesto on the bar menu, which was all we were allowed to order from as we were only given the table for one hour.

Atmosphere really great, food was extremely good and our server, Darko, was excellent. My wife doesn’t like alcoholic drinks and asked for a fruit juice. Darko suggested a Virgin cocktail which was delicious.

My dad is the head chef there (John) I go there all the time and the service is always nice and the food is amazing. Order my dish thatI created clementines avocado reall I created Coementine's Avacado Aoioli

arrived Seattle a bit late so we were finding some place near hotel. Was attracted by the name "Cinque Terre", one of my first visited Italian city also all time favorite. we ordered octopus, the plate is generous and delicious. The home made pasta recommended by the waitress was just ok. Overall they have a nice italian touch.

If you are looking for a hip place in town that can serve a great variety of Italian delicacies look no further. Dinner was fish based all the way thru. All prepared Italian style.... Simple and light sauces as it should be. Service was excellent and never missed a bit. A bit loud given the openness of the establishment but did not bother us that much. A must do if you find yourself in the Seattle area.

We truly enjoyed a relaxed slow pace meal. We started with the prosciutto and burrata and the beet and Gorgonzola. Nice and light- perfect start. I enjoyed the fettuccini with rabbit ragu, a friend had the gnocchi with veal, and the other two shared the 36 oz tomahawk- perfectly prepared. We also really enjoyed our desserts as well- tiramisu and profiteroles. Joey, our server made great recommendations and was very friendly. We highly recommended.

Cinque Terre brings a light and modern aesthetic that's unusual among Italian restaurants. But it's a beautiful space in a brand new, trendy downtown location. The service is excellent; attentive and friendly without being too suffocating. And the menu, though not too big, has a nice selection offerings--large and small plates, salads, and pizzas, and good wine list. Their table bread is focaccia, which was good, though I'm personally not a fan. I just thought it was too expected and uninspired given the novelty of the space. But aside from this inconsequential gripe, the rest of my meal was quite good. My shrimp and pasta was perfectly prepared--the pasta was freshly made--and the sauce was light and simple. However, I preferred the richness of my friend's rack of lamb, potatoes, and fava beans. All in all, Cinque Terre is a fine addition to the Seattle Italian scene. Their attention to detail, unique decor, fresh presentation, and quality food make it a solid recommendation. It's new though, so I expect their to be some growing pains. And I'm sure not every dish will survive the first year menu. Ignore the critics, I'm sure the have some valid opinions others are being unfair or don't know what they're talking about. I expect this place to survive and thrive in the long run.

Italian Restaurant in Seattle. Very nice staff. Very beautiful location. Rich menu with traditional food and pizza. Many cocktails in list. I had a Carpaccio and a beef fillet, both very nice and very well presented. Two glasses of wine: a sparkling rosè from Italy and a pinot noir from Oregon: perfect for my menù. I liked a lot and I recommend to those who love Italian food in Seattle

Food was good and really well presented Menu had a lot of choices The name of the plates are correctly spelled and it's the actual Italian dish no variation One thing we didn't appreciate so much was the rush of the serving. In 35 mins we had our starter our main and even dessert. When the waiter brought us the bill we were still eating our dessert. Really felt they wanted us to leave ASAP. Overall I would recommend

Met a friend here for a minor celebration. Sat on the outside terrace ,had some Veuve Cliquot champagne, accompanied by cheese and meat platters and it was just perfect. Good spot for people watching, first class service and we got a complimentary Tiramisu ( which was delicious). All in all a great place, good value for money and I would gladly return. The wonderful lady who served us ( with the nest on her head- she’ll know who she is) totally made our night. Definitely check this place out!

I was looking for an early dinner location close (walking distance) to my hotel and decided to try this one. I sat at the bar and received quick/friendly service. The food came quickly and the wine list was good. I had the grilled calamari (tasty) and the fettuccini w/rabbit ragu (good). I did not get to experience the ambience of the dining room itself, but the bar area was pleasant enough. Would come again, for sure.

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The restaurant was not that full or busy, but service was slow and inattentive. We shared a couple of appetizers. The antipasto platter was very mundane. Nothing special. The octopus was OK. My main course was a seafood pasta that was basically inedible because it was so salty. Typical of the lack of attention by our waitress, she didn't notice at all that it was barely touched. Do not go here!

I had a quick lunch before meeting Place was bright and spacious - which was good for business catch ups The service was friendly, proactive, professional and attentive which was what I appreciated compared to other locations I ordered a prawn pasta in cream sauce - the prawns were very fresh and portion was all right The food came quick so I could get out in half hour for next meeting.

We chose this restaurant initially based on it's Open Table availability. So glad to have found this place. I'm sure we walked by many times without noticing it, but it is centrally located downtown. The ambiance is lovely and can be suited equally for couples, families, or business. Our server was charming and well informed, food was fresh and delicious, prepared perfectly. Very nice wine selection and availability. The home made pastas are to-die-for. I can't wait to return.

Going in last Sunday for the all day happy hour (one of the best deals in Seattle) We sat down for dinner and drinks in the bar and had Cody (maybe spelt Kody) as our bartender. Both my partner and I worked in the service industry for years and in the post COVID age of terrible service, where a 20%+ tip is expected, not earned, where customers feel like burdens and service culture has been lost, Cody stood out as an amazingly passionate, kind, and knowledgable bartender. He had a deep understanding of everything on the menu, great recommendations, let us sample multiple wines before settling on final picks, and more than anything actually seemed to enjoy his job. He was passionate about his profession and passionate about creating an inviting and welcoming atmosphere . Every dish was dropped off with a detailed description, he checked in with us constantly, recommended some of his other favorite spots through the city and held great conversations throughout our entire meal. The food was also exceptional, our favorites were the fresh oysters and the carpaccio. But the best part was being reminded that there are still people in Seattle that take pride in service and care about their work, this restaurant is lucky to have Cody behind the bar.

If you are looking for Italian but in a trendy and modern restaurant then this place would fit the bill. You walk in and it's got a very modern look with the large windows, high ceilings and white decor. It feels nothing like an old-world Italian restaurant but one taste of the food and that will change. I had the Aragosta which is the lobster tail and panchetta truffle gnocchi and wow was it incredible. The lobster was grilled and it was fantastic while the gnocchi were tender and delicious. It was a perfect portion size that wasn't too terribly expensive. Combine that with the excellent service and fun atmosphere and you have a place that is a great dinner destination for any occasion.

After the sister restaurant Barolo lost our dinner reservation we were sheparded over to Cinque Terra. We had an excellent meal with very friendly people. Moderately pricey but very good.

As usual, the service was blameless, but the food left me hungry. We ordered two pizzas including a 3 cheeses but the cheeses were bland and without real taste. The pizza dough was good, so it's a shame the filling didn't follow. Pasta taken by a member of my family had almost no cheese on it, not bad but a lack of taste. The wine ordered was also very sweet and without real flavor. The price was acceptable for downtown Seattle.

Excited to try the new Italian restaurant on Westlake today, but what a disappointment. My beet salad was mostly crumbled gorgonzola atop the thinnest sliced beets imaginable soaked in olive oil, altogether adding up to considerably less than a whole beet--the worst beet salad I've ever had. The focaccia was airy & tasteless. My friend had better luck with the seafood salad. Several wines by the glass are offered. A pleasant light-filled space with high ceilings makes an appealing place for downtown business folk, but it is too "slick" to be named Cinque Terre.

Loved the food and our waiter selected a nice bottle of wine. Wait staff was awesome and the mood was just right for a Friday night.

After eating at Barolo (which they also own) and it's dark, cozy atmosphere, it is a nice change to have a bright, modern spot that has just as good food! Great menu options and wonderful, friendly service. Pasta was perfectly prepared and tasty and the pesto sauce on the mussels was fabulous. Great wine list. This is a must visit!

Dinner tonight with my bride.....very contemporary styling and very good food and outstanding service. Decided to eat inside the restaurant but the outdoor seating set up nicely too. The gnocchi and veal dish is delicious and focaccia was the best I’ve ever eaten. Will definitely be back.

Modern, classy, pleasant atmosphere. Delicious meal, great wine list, wonderful dessert, great service. Very pricey!

I was there with a group. There was a fixed menu consisting of antipasto, pasta and a meat. The antipasto was delicious accompanied by really good bread. The pasta dish was green and was made with pesto. I had salmon for my second plate. It was well seasoned and just the right portion. It was an enjoyable meal.

we were in seattle for 2 days before going on a alaskan cruises , there is 8 of us someone in the hotel told us about the restaurant . we got there had some prosecco and pinot grigo to start. the bread they put out was great we kept asking for more they make it every day , for appetizers we had polio marinated octopus , three chief salads , two barbabietole is beets , with gorgonzola and fennel everything was very good we all enjoy them . for entree my wife had oysters and and three had rigatoni al granchio with dinginess crab sauce , two had spaghetti con polperttine di vitello is house made natural veal, one had pizza carne sausage smoked provola with mushroom, everyone enjoy the dining very much. are sever was name lacey very nice ask for her. and for desert we all had pistachio gelato yum yum very good.

Quality of the food is ok, does not match the price at all, well overpriced. Not the best wine menu as they brag, mid to low quality wines with high prices. The place is nice and the service very good and friendly. I won't go again

Hit the jack pot! We sat in the bar at a table for happy hour at 6pm. The bartender and hostess on Monday night were phenomenal. This is Italian tapas if there is such a thing. We started with a dozen local raw oysters with fresh grated horseradish and mignonette sauce. Divine at $22 for 1 dozen. We ordered 2 polpo (Spanish grilled octopus pieces) with fava beans and a purée. A good 4 bites. We ordered 1 grilled calamari which was great size to share 4 pieces each. Too die for with a spicy tomato emulsion! The star. I did like the carpaccio which is a huge portion big enough to share amongst 4 people. I had a great dry prosecco for $9 and my husband had a really good happy hour $5.50 Italian red. We capped it with 2 scoops each gelato (pistachio, chocolate, salted caramel) and coffee. Total bill with tip $130. Memorable and now a new weekly to do!

We had dinner with a couple of friends on a summer evening. Food choices were delicious and flavorful. Service was good and the place had a trendy ambiance. Prosciutto and Buffalo mozzarella are amazing.

What a great find. We were just walking along Fairview Avenue and came upon this inviting street level balcony. It was 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon and we were just in the mood for Happy Hour oysters. Our waitress was charming and seated us. We then discovered that they served champagne by the glass at half price. Just perfect! We were so happy that we booked for dinner the following week. We were not disappointed. The main course, sea bass, was out of this world. Creatively served and delicious. We never have dessert, but splashed out with some profiteroles, and glad we did. Cinque Terre has only been open for a year and is definitely a great addition to the Seattle food scene.

Our delightful time at this restaurant began with a conversation with Lauren our server. The setting was open and bright, the menu choices diverse and the flavors of the food palate pleasing. Lauren was helpful in getting to know the different dishes and attentive throughout without being overbearing. A wonderful dining experience.

Went there to attend a party. The service was nice and quick. Food was good and there was variety. We had a very small get-together for couple of hours and the place was perfect!

We arrived at the restaurant about an hour before our reservation so we were fortunate enough to join in their happy hour! We were able to sit at the counter where the chefs were cooking and plating the entrees. So much fun. Great cheese tray and a pizza at half price were appetizers to our delicious dinner. Our waitress Jessica was delightful and seamlessly moved us from the counter to a lovely window table. Highly recommend this restaurant which exceeded all our expectations!

I've traveled to different parts of Italy and really enjoy and know my Italian food. One of the reasons I dont frequent Italian restaurants outside Italy is due to my high expectations. This place is not going to bring you back to Italy but will at least take care of your cravings to Mangia Mangia. The ambiance is dim and sexy, not too loud and the service pretty good. One of the few places in the USA that I will order grilled octopus, a dish that most US restaurants dont get right. Whats very impressive is their happy hour, good options with outstanding values I recommend and am a return customer.

Friends made reservations here and we all visited on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was open and airy and the staff was friendly without being overbearing. The food was amazing and everything contributed to both a great meal and a wonderful time. If we're ever in the area again, will definitely be back.

Cinque Terre is a truly great place. First, they have an awesome happy hour: all bar menu 50% off. And this menu contains almost everything from the main menu. Second, the service is so quick and responsible. It is my experience. I have been there not once, it every time I had a good time. Thanks so much to amazing server Miguel and beautiful Sierra. I appreciate your patience and help! I was really amazed last time, when I wanted to order my favorite mussels. They were run out of those ones. And instead I have got Seafood salad with 25% off! I appreciate this gift and highly recommend to visit this restaurant.

In from Honolulu, so the Prixe Menu was a super surprise both in price and food quality. Roasted beet salad very good. Squid ink and calamari so tasty and calamari prepared without being tough. Ended with Lavender panna cotta. Friends all enjoyed the evening and our menu. our waiter seemed to be a bit fond of himself, so this evening we were happy he was away from table and only when we waved for another round or question did he come to table.

On Saturday the 4th of March, walking back to my hotel from Comicon, after having struck out at another restaurant, I found this beautifully blue back lit--shining gem! I was impressed from the moment I walked in the door. I have a special rare allergy, the chef took care of me and made my food to protect me from that. The place was clean, friendly, warm, charming and modern. They didn't bat an eye since we were dressed in comic fashion. The bread was incredible. They have a water ninja--my glass never wanted filling. There was a one small issue and the waitress fixed it instantly. Prompt-polite-poised and diligent, I found that it was not expensive for the quality. I thanked the manager for the wonderful evening that both I and my companion enjoyed. The staff should get their own stars aside from the good food! (I would not want to mention this with the food but down to the last detail--even attention to comfort in the restroom...well done!)

Buyer Beware: 8% surcharge! Honest Review: Overall I would give this place 2.5 out of 5 stars. I ate there on a Saturday evening with my wife and daughter. The good: Ambiance and attentiveness of the server. Now for the bad: The server started out by recommending the most expensive bottles of wine on the menu. Ok fine, my radar was up but he still "highly recommended" a $100 bottle of Italian wine which I later found out retails for $28. Ok, not my first rodeo but still 3.5x markup on 3.7 star bottle doesn’t make you feel great. If you're going to talk your guests into an overpriced bottle of wine at least ensure its a good one. All of the food and food recommendations were average at best: beet salad average & chickpeas starter average. He told my 9-year-old daughter, he would “Throw some spaghetti on her plate with her chicken parm” made it seem completely like a goodwill gesture for a kid, and then a $6.00 surcharge when bill came. My wife’s primavera pasta was average. When the bill came, they added two 4% surcharges to my bill. First, the server said it was for "inflation". Then he said it was two separate 4% surcharges b/c one was for the food and other for the bottle of wine (so apparently charging me $96 for a $28 bottle of wine didn’t cover “inflation”). The service was great until the bill came & then the server's attitude completely changed when I questioned 8% tax surcharge. They eventually took it off but I wonder how many people they just hustle into paying for it. It’s too bad. I always tip a minimum of 20%. They literally ruined a nice evening with these ridiculous charges.

The pizza touted mushrooms on the menu, but there were really very few on the pizza, I realize I like my pizza a bit more adorned. The salad I had (the autumn salad, add chicken) was tasty and light, but again lacked a bit of 'umph'. The two stand outs were: the bread - delicious! and the desserts - both tiramisu and the panna cotta were amazing. The wait staff and hosts were wonderful.

We visited this restaurant yesterday and it is hands down our best dining experience on our tip so far (we have been here 4 days). The service was attentive, the food was fresh and delicious and wine was beautiful. The atmosphere was inviting and warm. We really hope to visit this place again!

Food is good nothing to write home. We sat in bar to have a drink prior to dinner. Was a bit taken back that the waitress was dressed in a belly button exposed shirt, for a restaurant its a little weird being served by your waitress and staring at her belly button, drinks were good and.bar food.

Tried this restaurant because of the good reviews. The food was very good but the service, although not terrible , was somewhat detached. The menu described their in house bread but we had to remind our server to get it. It took awhile for drinks to arrive and when later I ordered a glass of wine ( white) it didn’t arrive until my meal was almost finished and was room temperature .

The only thing Cinque Terre has going for it is the atmosphere. Fairly quiet for a large venue. Chill music. nice lighting. The romance ended there. Ditzy waitress. Restaurant empty when we arrived, but still took 45 minutes before our food showed up. And, then, what a let down! Mediocre. Tasteless beet salad. One dish so salty we couldn't eat it. HIgh prices..higher than much better places in Seattle. Not good value for the money. Will not return.

Hard to say if our enthusiasm for this place was enhanced by the fact we don't go anywhere much in this tortured era, but man we had a lovely meal here. Surprised not to be 'carded' at the door as we understood all Seattle restaurants would be doing. Italians understand noise is the perfect way to offer privacy, but this place was so loud we not only had no idea what the people at the next table were discussing, it was modestly demanding to chat with my spouse, which might also explain why she ended up with a starter of steamed/poached calamari instead of fried the way she prefers them. They were good, and in a pleasant sauce, but not what she expected. Our mains, however, were both terrific. Her bistecca di Manzo (or something like that) was 'a small steak' per the menu, but in fact was a large portion of perfectly cooked beef with a tasty sear of excellent spicing, with potatoes and very interestingly presented spinach: maybe braised and slightly dried giving it almost a tough texture. Really tasty and interesting. My pizza calabreze reminded me of being in Napoli. The mozzarella wasn't as chewy as would be perfect, but all in all this was lovely, simple pizza like one can enjoy in Europe. The house red @ $10 was a good pour and as enjoyable as the Tuscan they were featuring at six bucks more. We almost went back the next evening but were put off by the idea un-vaxxed patrons were not being filtered out... We will go back next time we are in the city.

Delicious Italian food We visited as a group of three, and we shared the carpaccio appetizer. We each ordered pasta, cutlet, and steak for the main course. All were delicious and not too strong in flavor. The price is cheaper than other restaurants in the same genre, where main courses cost $20 to $40. They also had a wide selection of drinks.

we weren't really hungry but needed to eat something so we stopped in and shared a ceasar salad and bowl of seafood soup/stew. The food was very good. Service was good and friendly. I'd go back again.

Starting our meal with freshly baked bread was the first of many highlights. It was difficult not making an entire meal of bread. A broad choice of Italian fare on the menu plus daily specials. A friendly helpful wait staff. The modern decor was just right. Not understated nor overdone. Our party of six ordered a wide range of dishes. Everyone was pleased with his or her choice. It’s going to be hard to try new restaurants on our next visit to Seattle unless we have been to Cinque Terre first.

We had a fantastic lunch at Cinque Terre. The food was well prepared, wine list was plentiful and service was outstanding. We had the pizza and bolognese, both were a high recommend. The complimentary bread is also delicious. A great Italian option in the city.

I loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent. Most of us loved the food but my fish hadn’t been deboned at all. It was very tasty but difficult to eat, especially at a business dinner where I didn’t want to pick small bones out of my mouth every other bite. ;)

Our friends in the military came here with us for a last-minute dinner before they shipped overseas. They have a young daughter and she's never been to a 'fancy' restaurant before. Our waitress was really great in being aware of how to interact with a child and the amount of time to get food (hers came before any of ours) was perfect for avoiding a meltdown. For the adults, the bread was amazing, the drinks were on-point (love a good spritz!) and all the meals were to die for. The portions were great as well as the costs!

I enjoyed our meal here. It is a Trendy place that offers both outdoor and indoor seating.. The food is excellent and, our waiter was personable and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. Even the pizza looked good. Private group tables with partitions were also available in the main room for privacy.

Ambience is very good, a cool location for dinner. Food wise little disappointing. We had calamari which tasted unfortunately like charcoal. The seafood soup was good, mostly calamari thought but they were good. We also had the chicken parmigiano which was not good, the chicken was squicky/crunchy, tasted artificial and not fully cooked. The tiramisu though was very good at last. Oh, one more, they did not have tea for some reason, weird.

I was excited about the arrival of Cinque Terre cuisine to Seattle. I visited this Italian region and loved every dish I had a chance to taste there. I was even more excited to see gnocchi with morel mushrooms on the menu and while I admit the gnocchi was delightful, the dish did not contain a single morel mushroom. The substitution of morels with other type of mushrooms was not addresses by the server when I ordered the dish, not when the dish was delivered to our table. I was very dissapointed by this trickery.

This was my first visit to Cinque Terre Restaurant. It’s located very close to the Amazon campus. The bottle of Prosecco that we shared was very good, as was the prosciutto and burrata appetizer. My linguine with rabbit was also very good. Our server was very pleasant but the service was a bit uneven.

We celebrated my daughters 14th birthday at Cinque Terre last weekend, and had fabulous time. The service was great (thanks Darko!), the food was fabulous (I think the favorite was the gnocchi) and the wine list is good and reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the chic atmosphere, glass, white, relatively small... definitely a Cinque Terre menu with a cosmopolitan vibe. Lots of exciting seafood dishes on the menu, we can't wait to go back!

I had the fettuccine with shrimp, and my husband had pasta with meatballs. Both were delicious, and the serving sizes were generous. Our server, Phillip, was great. We will definitely return.

I am no prude at all but thinking this was more of an upper-class restaurant – especially for a business meeting, I didn’t expect our host to constantly worry about having her boobs not jump out of her black top (seems every server was wearing black) than taking care of seating us. I found it interesting that everyone we interacted with could either barely pronounce the names of the Italian dishes or explain them properly or confidently. We were seated outside (as requested) and it felt like we were easily forgotten. It took a very long time to get anything. Sitting outside we were harassed by people begging for money (not the restaurant’s fault I know). Just passing that on, you should sit indoors if you don’t want to be faced with that. It is also very noisy; traffic is quite intense in that area. I had Braised wild boar sugo bucatini (when I asked what bucatini was, I was told it is pasta – well, of course, it is pasta, I wanted to know what kind of pasta, but they couldn’t elaborate – I looked it up later – it is a pasta in the shape of a tube). The pasta tubes were super long which made for an interesting way to eat them. My work partner had the Local fresh clams and mussels and ordered extra bread instead of pasta to go with that. The bread is excellent – I like a bit of extra salt on the top of the bread. We walked here so I cannot comment on parking. Lunch prices are very fair for what we were served (the freshness, the quality and the quantity). Unfortunately, although the food was good, the whole experience felt cheapened by the lack of knowledge from the servers and the way they dressed for a mistaken kind of attention.

From the lovely hostess to the attentive staff, along with a creative rendition of an Italian menu, it all works like perfect. Love this place, and return often. Haven't had a mediocre meal yet. All pasta is house made, and ingredients are excellent quality. Portions are filling but right sized.

I've spent a great deal of time in Vernazza so when looking for a place to meet friends from out of town and a native l selected this spot. First, they have only been open for just over a month. As such, the service, understandably, was not so good. It took way to much time for wine service and we never got a cocktail we ordered. If it wasn't for this it would be 5 star. If they had been open longer it would have been 3 star. As to the food...... Maybe the best examples of authentic Italian food I've tasted outside of my many trips to Italy. The Pizza was perfect but the Branzino and Zuppa di Pesce were outstanding. IMHO a little more depth in the wine list especially for appartifs.

Went to this place on a recent trip to Seattle after finding it on TA. I'm surprised it's not ranked more highly as we had a great time. Server 'Rachel' very engaging, excellent wine suggestions, tasty and visually appealing food with some complimentary dessert spirits to boot. I would imagine the vibe is good when busy, we were there on a very slow night due to a local downtown parade. I'd go back and recommend to others! Cheers.

Home sick of Italy? Looking for a place to fee at home. I found it downtown Seattle. A very nice restaurant, run by italian owners. Fantastic pizza. Loving it

Came with friends who had been here before and they raved about it. The salad was good, the pizza tasty but not great. My dinner was okay but really not great. The meatballs were tough and they did not take out the bay leaves. Who doesn't remove the bay leaves from a dish before you serve it? One if the party had an issue with an item in the dish. The waiter was great and handled the issue well, comped her dish and gave us dessert. All the staff was great.

A little crowded in the bar with Amazonians drinking beer, but they were able to find us a table by the window. All bar food is 1/2 off during HH. My partner exclaimed that the beet salad with fennel was the best beet dish he’s ever had. We split that and a homemade Gnocchi dish that melted in our mouths. Happy hour white and red wine were both good. The white was very dry which I prefer. One downside is that even though we ordered the 2nd happy hour drink right before 6:30pm (when HH ends), we were charged full price. The women's bathroom seats are heated.

I had dinner here with a couple of friends and we all agreed we had a very nice dinner. Our primary server was named Jessica and she was knowledgable and very efficient. We started with the Antipasto della casa which was nice (easy enough for four people) and some cocktails. I had the boar rigatoni, one friend had gulf prawn fettuccine, and the other the spaghetti with meatballs all paired with different wines that all were fine. All very well prepared and generous portions. Finished off with gelato, cannelloni and a couple of mochas which was just right. We were very happy with the value (much less than a couple of other Seattle Italian restaurants we've tried) and vowed we would return when next in Seattle.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at this family run restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We sat at the bar and were warmly welcomed by Santucci S. and Rob M. We ordered half a dozen oysters to start and as they were so plump and tasty, we ordered another half dozen. This was followed by the River Steelhead fish dish and the Washington Beef Steak for me, both delicious and cooked very well and to our liking. The house white wine was excellent and the restaurant atmosphere very vibrant. The restaurant owner was on hand that evening and we had a good chat with him about his lovely restaurant and food.

Gorgeously prepared fresh food and terrific bar, Cinque Terre is a great place to stop by and splurge on lunch if you are downtown. Try the octopus....DELISH! Highly recommend if you are looking for an upscale dining option.

We thought we would try one of the new restaurants downtown and, lucky for us, choose this one. Lunch started with glasses of cherry-tarragon soda which had a very fresh and interesting taste due to the herb and lime. I had a kale salad and my companion had roasted red pepper and carrot soup. The salad was tasty; the soup was amazing. We both ordered braised pork cheeks with cannellini beans. The meat was so tender we cut it with a fork; the dish had a wonderful smoky taste. Creamy gelato flown in from Italy was the best we’ve ever had. We reminisced about our travels in Italy as we ate as this was the best Italian food we’ve had outside of the country. The restaurant was very classy and service was provided by Bobby, who was professional, yet friendly; we followed his suggestions and were glad we did.

Great place with delicious flavor and fair prices. Great dinner with pasta, lasagna, salad and wine for glass. Canoli dessert. Good service. Friendly but slow service. We had a great time.

Service was slow. Appetizers good. Cocktails decent. Short rib dish tasted like pot roast. I’m pretty sure it was. Lasagna was so so. Chicken parm average. Seafood pasta dish good. Overall not bad except for the short ribs/pot roast.

We were in a party of 5 and we were all equally impressed. Great wine, wonderful food and perfect service. Even a complementary tiramisu at the end. It could be better

Homemade pasta, sauces and bread to die for! It was one of the best tasting meals we have had. The service was good.

We went for happy hour where a house bottle of pinot grigio was $25. The food was excellent. The octopus was cook properly and the beet salad with fennel was also very good. We then shared the Casarecce with pesto sauce which was delicious. Only complaint is that the music inside was so loud that we had to move outside to enjoy our meal.

This is Italian fine dining in a great part of downtown Seattle that is very trendy. We had one of the owner's daughter ( a trainee) serving us and we met two of the owners who were waltzing through the restaurant entertaining guests and making sure the meals were presented properly. There was a comprehensive menu and we tried, family style a whole variety of items. Each was well prepared and delicious. This included octopus salad, prawns over mashed potatoes, Rubino ( Italian seabass) and other specialties. Portions were on the medium to small side and prices were on the high side. With dessert, coffee and 6 glasses of wine for 4 people, we spent over $300. A nice experience and the owners are trying hard. Worth trying at least once if you're into fine dining and don't mind the price. We were on vacation and this hit the spot.

New Seattle place open a few months. Surprising how they have it together so quickly. Went with several others. Had a broad selection items. The grilled octopus was super tasty and just the right amount of "chew". The mussels with pesto were so flavorful. Tomahawk Steak was HUGE and super tasty. Definitely a return visit is in order!!

We were scrolling around the internet and hit on some site's "20 best Italian in Seattle" and C T was one of the entries. Since it was near our then-location, we made a reservation and strolled over. My wife and I had the tomato-based fish soup (like a cioppino), lasagna, and I started off with a lentil and spinach soup. I also had a French bubbly wine, Cremante. I actually thought the opener, the lentil and spinach soup, was the highlight of the repast: it was creamy, nicely spicy, and also had a splash of provolone cheese on top. Very tastefully done. The fish soup was good, but I would merely suggest they could have given a little more of it (and really, only half a lobster-tail?). The lasagne was robust and fine. At the end of the meal, not that I needed to stay awake, but I had an espresso, because when you feel that gritty film on your tongue, you know the dreamy moments of supper are over and it's time to get back into the world. One thing I might note is that this establishment must read the reviews, because I saw a few that said "we waited so long" and "no one came over to check on us"--but when we were there last night, our server came by like every five minutes; and it wasn't because I came in wearing a tuxedo (I was in sweatshirt and nothing-special slacks). So server: thanks for looking after us. This was an enjoyable experience. They were out of clams and oysters. I hope they'll stock more next time. This was about 89$ for two, without dessert. Buono appetito!

I sat at the bar solo and had the oysters $11 and 3 glasses of Rose. The place was really crowded and busy but service was great. I also ordered a pasta with shrimp , clams and mussels that was amazing. Highly recommend this place especially at happy hour from 3-6:30

This was our first time at this restaurant. The food was very good and the service was fast and friendly. We were looking for a place downtown to eat before a concert and we were very happy with this place and will go back!

Service get is great, friendly and knowledgeable. Ambience is modern minimalist but still has an overall warm vibe. Food concept is great, farm to table. Had the scallops special, which were just ok. Cooked fine but little flavor and sharp pepper intakes from peppercorns. Pasta was homemade but just ok..as is common, to much sauce weighing down the delicacy of a homemade pasta.

Excellent food, great service and cozy in the evening. Went there with two teenagers and partner. No one complained about anything. There was also happy hour for half the price but then you have to sit in the bar and be at least 21 years old.

Found this restaurant from Trip Advisor reviews and it was close to our hotel. Food & service was excellent. Server even helped give us a few other restaurant recommendations in the area. I got a glass of white wine that wasn’t my favorite, so our server picked another one out for me after we discussed my tastes (White Bordeaux).

We met up here with some friends for dinner. After everyone settled in, we ordered our food. The food came in a timely manner. I tried the following: - Complimentary bread - Good. Nice texture and well seasoned. - Feature crudo - Poor. The fish was completely buried by all the other ingredients, so it was really hard to enjoy. - Calamari alla plancia - Excellent. Freshly seared with fantastic san marzano sauce. My favourite bite of the night. - Proscuitto and burrata - Very good. Probably some of the best prosciutto I’ve had. Most prosciutto is too salty so it needs to be eaten with bread to balance the salt level. This prosciutto can be eaten straight because it was nice and mild. Burrata was good too. - Feature lobster/crab mezzaluna pasta with rose sauce - Poor. Some of the pasta was undercooked (not al dente) and the lobster/crab was “fishy” indicating it wasn’t fresh. Sauce was bland. I think there may have only been five pieces, so very overpriced. - Margherita pizza - Poor. I like Neapolitan pizzas, but their dough is too tough and chewy. Service was also mixed. The server was competent and was able to deliver three separate bills for the three families at the table even though we didn’t all sit together. However, at times the server seemed a bit arrogant, but at other times he was somewhat more approachable and friendly. Overall the food and service were really inconsistent. Enough that I would hesitate coming back fearing that I would experience more bad points than good ones.

We were in Seattle to see our Toronto Blue Jays play the Mariners. We went here for dinner and it was wonderful we had a craving for something that wasn’t on the menu and ask if they had it. The server said they would be happy to make it for us. It was better than we expected. Very authentic Italian.

Pasta that I ate (gnocchi with some meat sauce) tasted bad - I left half of it untouched. There was nothing Italian about this pasta - it was so hard to chew and tasted bad. Then my bill arrived wrong - instead of 30 dollars, was charged 130. NO NO NO.

This place is must for their house-made pasta. I had the agniotti with butter sage and spinach. So good! I was in a rather large group and everybody's food looked really good. The service was spot on.

Food was outstanding. The homemade pasta was cooked perfectly, it was served with duck, well seasoned. The grilled shrimp was perfectly cooked and served with garlic spinach over mashed.

A family meal was planned as part of a wedding weekend and my niece made reservations for 14 of us at Cinque Terre. The server was outstanding with a nice balance between attentiveness and letting us eat and converse in peace. Everyone raved about the food. My husband and I started with the Beet, fennel and gorgonzola salad. The flavors blended well and all though the gorgonzola was generous it did not overpower the beet or fennel. My entrée was braised short rib, polenta, with a flavorful red wine demi. The polenta was much creamier than I have had at other restaurants and probably had some ricotta or heavy cream added instead of just water. The short rib was tender and my only issue would have been I needed a little more of that demi glaze on the rib and polenta. My husband and several others in the group had the fettuccine, gulf prawns, with lemon zest, crema. The pasta had just enough crema to cover it without being too overpowering, and the lemon was just a hint of flavor with the prawn flavor being front and center. My nephew had the Chicken Parma, a generous portion, and stated the flavor was spot on. Several in the group also ordered the Lasagna with good reports as well. The décor was upscale industrial with painted duct work in ceiling, wood and glass accents, cloth napkins, tablecloths, and open kitchen that we could see from our table. Wine list although not extensive for by the glass was adequate and had some nice selection for those that wanted wine. They also featured some nice cocktails. Parking was free and validated in the Amazon building nearby. This is a recommend for me, and would go back if I was in the area.

Came here for a dinner date. The atmosphere is more modern compared to many other Italian spots around Seattle. I was impressed with the wine list. Food was a bit over-priced but did not at all disappoint. Service was excellent.

Cinque is the newest addition to the family of restaurants surrounding Amazon's Doppler building. The restaurant itself is quite large, it almost feels like they're going for the dinner crowd. The focaccia bread was the softest I've ever had. My clams with homemade pesto was just okay. It was a beautiful, bright plate but lacked flavor. I expected to be slurping up every last drop of sauce with bread, but it wasn't that kind of dish. I'd give it another try to taste the homemade pasta. They also have a spicy clam chowder pizza that sounds intriguing.

Business dinner setting. The wine list was better than expected with some excellent Washington wine choices. The daily specials were enticing with eight choices. My Rigatoni with spicy meat and wild mushrooms was very good. My colleagues enjoyed their selections. Some of their dinners have quite showy presentations in long dinner plates which led to some jesting. The drawback was the music. It was too loud to hold a quiet conversation which was drawback fro a table of six or for anyone wanting an intimate, romantic setting. Oddly, half-way through dinner, the volume noticeably increased as the music shifted to a techno-beat style. It was a distraction. Service was very good. Bobbie did a good job of taking care of the table and our inquisitive colleague who always has questions about the food. He also knew the vintage of the wine I selected.

Fantastic Italian food in a warm, welcoming setting. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The pasta is perfectly cooked, the seafood is fresh and flavorful, and the flavors are balanced and authentic. You can really tell care goes into the cooking here. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service is friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. Whether you’re here for a relaxed dinner, date night, or happy hour, Cinque Terre delivers a consistently great experience. Definitely one of Seattle’s best spots for Italian cuisine — highly recommend! 🍝🍷

Some years ago, we discovered that our dear friends had a similar wedding anniversary date, and for at least the past 10 years we have been making a custom of celebrating our double anniversary. Let me add by saying that our anniversaries are of a similar date only 30 years apart. This year we decided to have our special dinner at the Cinque terre restaurant. Let me also add, that we were celebrating 110 years of marriage: 40 for my husband and I, and 70 for the other couple. That's quite a milestone! I would be surprised if this restaurant ever experiences two couples coming in for such an occasion. And when we first sat down to our table we told our waiter of this special milestone. But there was nothing done or said to acknowledge our milestone: no offer of a toast, or a complimentary dessert. We don't go to restaurants for freebies, but we do go out to celebrate and It would seem to me that a restaurant would take pride in having been selected for this milestone celebration. A little personal attention would have gone a long way. That did not happen. But, the food was good. All the main courses were well prepared and we found the octopus dish especially good. Their home-baked bread was also excellent. If you want good food and are not bothered by impersonal service, you will enjoy this restaurant. We would return, but not for a special occasion.

I went here last Thursday with a colleague. We had the beef carpaccio, pasta frutti di mare and a margarita pizza, all accompanied with a bottle of their excellent house wine. It was one of the best meals we had this week. Real Italian flavour. Special thanks to Kodi for his excellent service. Kodi takes his job very seriously and pays attention to every detail. Must go when in Seattle!

Cool modern deco inside. Outside seating available. Menu was extensive with great items like Bison, boar, and rabbit. The pasta was excellent. The service was attentive. Great spot.

We absolutely loved this wonderful restaurant. The staff was great and the food was fantastic. It was not traditional Italian, more of Italian influenced seafood (which is our preference vs heavy pasta dishes). We are carpaccio aficionados and theirs was one of the best we have had. The serving sizes were excellent. The zuppa de pesce was chock full of yummy seafood. The branzino was flaky and flavorful. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations on both food and wine. An excellent experience!!

They ask you not to write an review because they are short staffed. They weren’t short staffed when we went for dinner. Sever was arrogant, forgot my soup and took away the plates way too early ( food was still on). Ambiente otherwise is nice, we had a pizza, carpaccio ( that was very good), zuppa of pece (expensive and not good , very watery, no bread) and lasagne ( which was average). The bread during wait was okay. Overpriced for the service and food

This is like going to Italy and having dinner. From top to bottom of the menu. So very good..Plus on top of that it's all farm to table local..We started with a pizza which was so good...very good crust...perfectly crispy.ingredients fresh, then we split the Branzino which was perfect. Remniscent of a Branzino we had in Venice. We then finished with the profitteroles..All in all one of the best meals we had the whole trip to Seattle.

This restaurant was recommended by the owner of the Air BnB we rented. Unfortunately we didn't get there until the end of our stay in Seattle. Had we experienced it in the beginning of our trip, we definitely would have gone back for a second meal. We had the mussels, the prosciutto pizza, mushroom pizza, and a seafood soup. Everything was fresh, delicious and flavorful. Even my picky teenagers enjoyed the meal.

Located in Belltown neighbourhood. Interesting dining space on the semi round. Good wide range of food including excellent ragu pasta. Nice wine list & desserts that are worth saving a bit of room for. Service helpful & friendly

We were walking back to our hotel and discovered Cinque Terre, a relatively new restaurant part of the group of restaurants which include List and Barolo. We were looking for a Happy Hour establishment and low and behold here was one. The lounge area was already full so we sat at the bar. They had most of the appetizers, one pizza of the day and soup of the day at 50% off along with a glass of red, white and rose wine for $5. Everything we had was excellent. This Italian restaurant specializes in wood fire pizza and seafood. We never did get to the main entrees because we enjoyed the Happy Menu items so much. The 2 bartenders we spoke to, Emily and Eric were delightful and informative. The atmosphere was modern and bright. We spent 2 hours there without noticing it. They offer their Happy Hour menu everyday from Monday to Saturday from 4-6:30pm and on Sunday from 3pm to closing. Pretty nice deal but even with that, their regular menu seemed very reasonable. The next time we go to Seattle, we will try the main dinner menu. Really enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend it.

Seattle is booming and along with its growth are new restaurants, Cinque Terra being one of them. We dined on a Sunday which is traditional to have a brunch menu which I was fine with it but my daughter and her husband asked if they were able to order off the regular menu and the manager was happy to allow that. I ordered the spinach frittata which came seasoned with herbs and delicate amounts of cheese. The red potatoes seasoned melted in my mouth and there is a choice of bacon or sausage. My daughter and SIL shared a pear and cherry pizza which looked delicious. The service is impeccable and the decor very bright and modern. I look forward to eating there again and trying the mussels, one of my favorite appetizers. By the way, the portion sizes are generous!

We came here a couple nights ago for a celebratory dinner and had a great time. Not only was the food delicious, but the entire customer service experience — from hostess to busboy — was a 10/10. Our table was out of the way and private, but we were still well attended to the entire night. This level of customer service isn't necessarily easy to find in Seattle anymore, and it went greatly noticed. What really made our night, though, was our server, Lauren, who was funny, friendly, and went above and beyond for our group. We wanted to invite her to have a seat with us! Make sure to check out Cinque Terre! The ambience is great, the menu is reasonably priced, and there wasn't a dirty dish left on our table.

We just returned from Italy and we were excited to try this restaurant. It was loud, service was weak but the food was good. The waiter was really busy and made sure we were aware of it. He treated us like we were idiots when it came to selecting a bottle of wine, pointed us in the direction of the "special" that was $80, which we declined. He was worried about his tip because he reached over two people to pick up the bill and opened it to look as he walked away-very unprofessional but yes we still gave him an appropriate tip since it was the holidays. Food was good but with all the competition downtown Seattle they need to step it up more.

Enjoyed the ambiance of the light and airy space with a server who clearly loved her job. The caviar Service was a great splurge at $95 an ounce. The crudo was perfection and the clams with pesto were unique. Save room for the fresh focaccia bread. Pastas are home made and pillowy fresh. The branzino was well done. All in all a great meal if you want a fine dining experience.

Three of us went to Cinque Terra for dinner, located on Westlake in one of the new Amazon buildings. It's a very modern space. We were promptly seated. Overall the service was excellent and they went out of their way to be courteous. I had the pork cheeks and sausage on top of veggies. Very good. A also had a cup of the soup, which was very tasty. The wine selection was good, and we had a nice Chianti Reserva, which was not too outrageously priced. The surfaces are all hard, so there is a lot of noise. Nonetheless, we were able to have a decent conversation if we spoke a little more loudly. Good value for such a nice place. The waiter was very attentive and helpful.

These guys rejected a DoD card as I.D. at the bar whilst we waited for our table, this is simply not acceptable and no good reason was given. Ordered a beer, aforementioned ID was rejected and we were then requested to leave the bar area to make way for other patrons, leaving us rejected and embarrassed. Despite booking for 7.30 our table was not ready until 7.45 so we were invited to wait at the bar. We felt absolutely appalled at this but bit my tongue. We got seated late and the following service and food was ok. Pizza was better than the gnocchi. Thanks for the good start to the New Year. Maybe not.

I had dinner here with colleagues in January. The restaurant is located in one of the new Amazon buildings on Westlake. I had the Fettuccine al coniglio (rabbit ragu) which was really good. The service was ok. I think the restaurant was just getting started to still needs to soften the rough edges. I will give it another try next time I am in town.

Located at the base of the new Amazon tower in a much larger space than their sister restaurant, Barolo. Parking downtown is always a headache. I used Barolo's valet parking and walked across the street (which was fine with the valet parking guy) The Amazon building "may" have parking. I wasn't sure. As to the food: What can I say? The food is perfect. Portions are on the large size and the presentation is beautiful. Prices are high, but not crazy high. You get an excellent meal at a very acceptable price. The wine list is extensive (mostly italian) with virtually all wines in the sub-$75 range. The crowd, as one might expect, is a young, upscale group, probably dominated by Amazon employees. Overall --- Barolo is easily one of the top five italian restaurants in Seattle. Cinque Terra will almost certainly also make the list. I'd rate Cinque Terra as a slightly less expensive, more accessible, perhaps slightly less romantic and more "mass market" version of Barolo. Highly recommended!

Dropped in about 6pm with no booking. Seated quickly. Breads super nice. Offer of more which was great to see! Had steak as did my companions. Cooked to order. Great seating. Nice atmosphere. Staff really friendly. Would return. Pasta looked gorgeous at nearby table.

In fairness only ordered a soup of the day and a caesar salad. The soup (white bean with vegetables) had under-cooked beans and no seasoning whatsoever - for $8. The salad was prettily displayed with good quality ingredients but rather sparse for its price tag. Perhaps other entrees are more interesting but I would not go back any time soon.

This place is fantastic! It was recommended by our concierge Pina! The food was amazing! A must try.

Randomly chose to eat here the last two times in Seattle, a year apart. I was attracted by the menu and location, but would go back again for the food and the pleasant environment! The last trip I tried the mixed salad and the chicken Parm. I liked the Parm, but loved the salad! Could not recommend enough!

Modern Italian restaurant with wood fire pizza oven and open kitchen. Excellent variety of "foodie" Italian fresh farm to table ingredients. Calamari the best I have tasted in a long time - not battered. Extremely helpful servers. Bar is a little slow getting drinks to the table.

We enjoyed all our selections and also loved the vibe--we were lucky enough to be here for the Halloween Saturday night costume event--the outfits and music were great. We all were hungry and were not disappointed with any of the appetizers we all shared at the table--the octopus, burrata, hamache crudo, beef carpaccio and pizza with gorgonzola were all dishes we would definitely order again--they were all favorites. Our main dishes were the Zuppa Pesce, the Rigatoni with Crab and the Pasta Special--we were pleased with all of them. Our server was very helpful when ordering and he was also quite attentive. Nothing beats good food and an upbeat, entertaining atmosphere.

We arrived after recommendation from hotel. All going well, we ordered drinks and wine to come with main course. Appetizer of calamari well grilled but pairing with marinara seemed a bit odd but ok but northern Italian restaurant. Pasta came but no wine, waiter said he could not find bottle, when we finished bar tender came with two glasses but could not tell us what was substituted and we had finished meal! Lots of help adding water to glasses but no assistance for waiting staff when problems. Told bar was slammed but it was not full and two bartenders on duty for medium sized restaurant. They still have opening problems after one month.

Cinque Terre has THE best happy hour ever. My husband I have gone twice now when we were in Seattle. We've had the best experience there of pretty much any restaurant we've ever been to. The food is phenomenal and the bar service is out of this world. Colby and Sarah, who work the bar, are the best servers we've ever had. They are knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. In fact, we went back in May 2025 because of our amazing experience with Colby three years before on a previous trip. A true gem with regard to food, service, atmosphere - everything.

Chose to eat here based on reviews and so glad we gave it a shot. Fresh bread on the table is great. Had the pizza special and it was delicious. The others in the party ordered the squid ink pasta and raves about it. Several local beers available as well.

Great meal from start to finish. Our server, Jensen made the evening most enjoyable. She is a definite asset!

Had an enjoyable dinner at Cinque Terre the other evening. We enjoyed the atmosphere, very industrial and modern style with large windows. We liked the fact that the tables were set such that you didn't feel as if you were on top of anyone else. I think if you wanted to have a business meeting with a meal and wanted a little more privacy they would have several good choices for tables. The restaurant has access to a parking garage in the evening for a fairly good rate. Our service was very good although they had a problem with timing of the meal, we waited quite awhile between appetizers and entrees. The restaurant is expensive but really not too high, they include some sparkling in-house water and bread as complimentary and they do not add on a service charge which many restaurants are doing now in the area which is very annoying. They have some nice wine choices by the glass and cocktails that sound interesting. The waiter talked about two special wine choices and with each one he mentioned some sort of "tobacco- finish". It was odd, who wants to order a bottle of wine with a tobacco finish but maybe I'm missing something...?! As for the food, they have pizzas that are not your usual pizzas and house-made fresh pastas. They also have some other items. We all thought our food was very good. None of us would have said it was exceptional but it was very good. We liked the rabbit but they could have used a little more meat in the sauce. The calamari appetizer was a unique preparation and we didn't like it. The burrata and prosciutto appetizer tray was very good and a generous portion. They "cheated" on the gnocchi. They rolled it in a tube and then cut it rather than doing each by hand. If they are going to charge that much and say their pastas are house-made they might as go all the way... We will definitely try it again!

Went for lunch and had a great meal. Had soup and salad and pastas, which were all delicious. Had to have a glass of wine too. Very attentive staff. We'll go back.

Wonderful fresh food. A menu with a wide offering of appetizers, homemade pasta ,fresh fish and meats ,homemade breads ,pizza ,and great selection of wine and beer.

I came to Cinque Terre twice during a business trip to Seattle. Cinque Terre was recommended to my colleague by the concierge at The Westin, and unknowingly, I mentioned the restaurant to her as well, since I had seen it while walking by and thought it looked great. It seems like a really popular spot for happy hour, or for young professionals to share a bottle of wine and sit either inside or outdoors. We were able to make a reservation on Open Table (on both occasions), which is always an added plus, and were immediately seated by a very friendly hostess. Almost immediately upon being seated, we were greeted by our server Carlo, and offered a choice of still or sparkling water. We were handed the wine list, and since my colleague is a white drinker and I'm a red fan, we decided to go by the glass versus by the bottle. The first visit there, I had two glasses of the Washington Pinot Noir and my colleague had the 9 Hats Chardonnay. We were both pleased with our choices (as evidenced by having two glasses of the same wine and not asking for the menu to switch it up). We each started with an appetizer - I ordered the tomato bisque soup, which was on the specials list, since I chilly Seattle day seemed to dictate that soup was the appropriate choice. My colleague was torn between the lentil or chickpea appetizer, and on the recommendation of Carlo, went with the chickpeas. Both choices ended up being huge successes - the tomato bisque soup was absolutely delicious and fresh tasting (and the perfect accompaniment to the house made bread!), and my colleague loved the chickpea appetizer, that came out in a small skillet. Everything at Cinque Terre was plated beautifully, and appetizers were no exception at all. For entrees, my colleague ordered the pasta special - a pumpkin ravioli with sage, which she said was delicious and incredibly filling. I ordered the pizza with gorgonzola, pears, dried cherries, and onions and it was wonderful, but way too much for one person (I ate the rest the next day for lunch/a snack). On our return trip to Cinque Terre we ordered the same appetizers, though I ordered a Malbec from Washington, and my colleague ordered a different brand of Chardonnay. We switched up our entrees this time - I went with the house made pesto with casarecce (also made in-house), and my colleague had the pizza special of the day, a meatball pizza. My pesto was delicious - it was different from other pesto I have had before, but was light and delicious. The pasta was also the perfect al dente. My friend loved her pizza as well, and we were both thoroughly pleased we chose Cinque Terre for our last dinner in Seattle. The service from Carlo really took an already great dining experience up a level. He was so warm and helpful, making recommendations (and remembering us for our second night there, which is always a friendly touch). He is a wonderful server and definitely a huge factor in why my rating for this restaurant is so high. I'm looking forward to a return trip to Seattle, as well as Cinque Terre!

We sat outside under heater, it was a great setting. All of the food ordered was absolutely delicious. The eggplant was one of the best I ever had, and that is a signature dish for our family. Tiramisu was definitely the best ever. I was surprised to see such reasonable prices for such high quality food. Highly recommend!

This was a surprise ! We had just checked into our hotel , the Theodore which was nearby ,having been travelling all day , it was late we were tired and we wanted something tasty and not heavy to eat. We got the recommendation from Amanda at the hotel to go the Cinque Terre. Even though we were near closing we had great service from the moment we stepped in , we were shown a nice table . We ordered off the lounge menu, about 5 dishes, two different salads , the squid plate the octopus plate and the cheese plate. Every one of them was well presented , fresh and delicious . We also ordered two glasses of Italian wine , which was good too. We live in mostly in rural France and we are used to good home made food and good local wines, still in comparison nothing about this meal let us down and it was considerably better ( sorry to say ) then most of the meals we have has in the USA . No question about it if we are ever in Seattle again we would certainly go back . Id like to mention too the staff , John showed us to the table and told us about the menu and timing in a very nice way ( as they were getting near closing ). Kadianne served us and she was efficient yet charming, polite and friendly , we felt we were regulars. P.S. the cheese plate ( mostly goat ) which we had at the end was really very good and garnished with olives and a dip of oil and one of apple . Thanks John , Kadianne and Cody at the bar for making the end of a rather tiring day enjoyable and memorable !!

Restaurant is an Italian restaurant but the menu us confusing and has limited choices. A few meat dishes, a few pasta with seafood and a few vegetarian dishes. But once you visit the restaurant, you won't find anything exciting on your second visit! Wine list is long and vast, but I found the house wines (both red and white) much better choices.

Had a terrific experience at Cinque Terre - We had a 6:15 pm reservation for 3, including a mature teen. Seated promptly, and our sever (Kadianne) arrived promptly to offer drinks - she was friendly and very professional. Hip atmosphere and menu offers many appealing choices: Beet Salad w/ Fennel&Gorgonzola was Superb; Mista Salad excellent. Spaghetti w/ “Spicy” Meatballs also excellent; the teen with us had Pasta w/ Pesto & added Chicken (Kadianne’s suggestion) - it was great. Very fresh food and portions are large. Service very good (although I did have to ask for salt and fresh black pepper - no big deal). We definitely would return!

Wonderful food, pricing is great, service on par. ordered the octopus it was heavenly, BF ordered the wild boar pasta, it was great. The wine was amazing.

I went alone on a saturday evening without reservation. They quickly find a place at the counter, just in front of the open kitchen. I was trying to read my book but looking at the cooks was too much fun. I didn't even notice the little time I had to wait for pasta al pesto . Good wine list and an extremely friendly and helpful waiter. Affogato al caffè was a great close out of the dinner. I fully enjoyed the evening. I will come back.

My daughter chose this restaurant for my husband's birthday dinner during our visit to Seattle in May. We were delighted by the traditional menu as well as the innovative pizza. We had the special pizza of asparagus and egg for the starters. The house made pasta was excellent and the desserts divine! My husband's dessert came with a fiery sparkler - something we've never seen before.

Good mood place, with modern decoration and straight seats. I ordered course menu and it was really good. Despite being tasteful, dishes were different and very fresh. Reasonable price.

Cinque Terre If you like a beautiful room and spectacular food served by magical people, then Cinque Terre is a great restaurant to visit over and over again. While I no longer live in Seattle, I will make sure to come back to Cinque Terre in the future. It's memorable. I was there alone because my friend could not make it, but they gave me a lovely window table and treated me royally. My server, Zoe, was quite the charmer, handling the bar as well as several tables with grace and beauty. Warm and charming, she made me feel right at home. Ask for her! I had a Caesar salad that was unusually tasty, with huge flakes of Parmesan, and then an "artisan" pizza that warmed my heart and pleased my belly. Had to take half back to the hotel.

Great place for dinner with our family. Several dishes on the menu that were unique and worth calling out. The beef carpaccio was excellent. Several farm-to-table dishes emphasizing local providers, yet Italian preparations. Great place for both couples and families. Nice vibe.

We were celebrating a birthday, and what a perfect spot. The service is amazing and the food and wine was perfect. We would highly recommend visit. Too bad we don't live in the area.

Cinque Terre makes you feel like you are in a beautiful seaside location in Italy. The atmosphere at the bar is very inviting and extremely vibrant. I was there for a business dinner with a couple of associates, and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The food was first class and the wine list was terrific. We found the service to be excellent. We had the Branzino and Polypus...both superb...I highly recommend them, as well as other selections on the menu.

Was at a table of 8 and everyone's dinner looked a lot better than mine. The Oxtail Ossobuco was fairly bland and not much meat. The chef salad was pretty much romain lettuce and not a lot of anything else. Others seemed happy with their choices. Good vibe and will try it again but probably stick to seafood or pasta next time.
WOW
We were directed to this restaurant after their sister restaurant was completely filled. A wonderful and bright atmosphere that invited you in as much as the front of house staff. We were there mainly for the happy hour so that we could try as many dishes as possible - of course some tasted more appetizing over other dishes, but overall, each dish was presented well and was robust with the advertised flavors. The best part of the evening was the fantastic service we received. It is clear this team prides itself on providing a dining EXPERIENCE (yes, it was a great experience), and treats you as a true guest, from the time you enter to the time you depart.
