Huge menu, all meals covered and available 24x7. Dishes are presented very artfully but best of all, the portions are Vegas huge. Service was prompt and we were never in need to look for someone to refill glasses or remove the plates.

While staying at the Golden Nugget, my family and I had a late dinner here and the burgers, chicken tenders and fish tacos were delicious. We ordered water after being in 108 degree temps all day, and it was the worst tasting water ever. They must be draining the pool into the restaurants tap water. Let’s just say I didn’t get much hydration while dining. Other than the water issue, the food was excellent and recommended. This would be 5 stars if not for the water issue.

We had a breakfast here that was quite delicious. Service by Jacob was attentive but not obtrusive. Pancakes and bacon were great!

Delicious! Fast service, friendly services, and amazing food! Definitely recommend the Key Lime Pie and French Toast, so good!

Return customer to Claim Jumpers located inside the Golden Nugget on Fremont Street. Very nice atmosphere. Waitstaff also very friendly. Prices are fair but a little in the high side however the portion sizes are large especially if you get a salad. Many items on menu to please even the pickiest person. Stop in, you won’t be disappointed.

It was fun, and it was funny. I had fun. The people were happy. I was happy . I laugh. The people sm

The decor in this restaurant was excellent. The food was beyond compare in freshness and presentation. The chef is a magician and the ingredients were sublime. The server was great and moved quickly and efficiently.

We stayed at the Golden Nugget two nights and had breakfast both days in the Claim Jumper because it was that good. Although there was a line we were quickly seated. First day had french toast and American breakfast. Very good, especially the ham steak side. Second day had Croissant breakfast sandwich which was very yummy. Also had the pancakes which were nothing special. The french toast was much better. Service was timely and friendly both days. Also had lunch one day. Hector provided excellent service. Had the chicken pot pie which was good but could have used more vegetables than potatoes. Typical Vegas prices but worth it for amount and quality of the food.

Ordered a classic burger with onion rings to split with my wife. The onion rings looked good but they were hard and chewy, i think they were a refry. I sent them back , which I never do . The new ones were good. The burger was warm but not hot, maybe because the cheese, lettuce, pickles etc. was ice cold. what a weird sensation in my mouth. frozen cheese yuc! The waiter was great and apologetic claiming it was closing time and we were the last to be seated. WHAT it was 3 p.m. inside the gold nugget in Las Vegas. people everywhere, CLAIM JUMPER WAS A JUST AS THE NAME IMPLIES STEALING SOMETHING THATS NOT REALLY YOURS. IN THIS CASE MY MONEY.

Like many folks, I've been going to Claim Jumper for years and this one didn't disappoint. Food was great, service was great, despite the Covid situation. About 50% of the tables were not available for social distancing purposes. I would definitely go again as I left there very satisfied.

Ate breakfast here. It was really very good and the service was quick. It is pretty close to the elevator, so easy to get to and out of. Even played a couple hands of Keno! well done.

Excellent Food, Excellent service--had the kindest waiter. Ordered steak--was done perfectly the way it was asked for, calamari--it was a very large portion and only an appetizer--filled me up and was the best calamari I ever tasted. Go check out this place when in Las Vegas.

Everything we ordered was delicious. Don't listen to bad reviews bashing the covid restrictions, it is what it is. Service was good, food was great, everything came out quickly.

I only ate breakfasts there and their breakfasts are very decent. A bit pricey for the food but you sort of have to expect that inVegas.

Food was decent and service was good. The food portion were big and consistent with the price. We only had breakfast food but the menu had many options making it hard to decide what to have.

Mediocre meal and slow service with a limited Covid menu did not impress. If this had been the first Claim Jumpers we had ever been to we would not go back based on this visit. After a cross country flight and a long wait for a table we opted for a breakfast meal in an effort to get in and out quickly. The batter on the chicken fried steak was much too thick, and the shredded hashbrown potatoes were nothing special. At least the eggs were perfectly prepared.

Good breakfast, but prices have gone up, little shocked but to be expected, but still good food! Seems to stay pretty busy as couple of times we had to wait in line, but not for to long!

The burgers are amazing. Cooked perfectly, the buns a fantastic, Burger is so big I could only to half. vegetables were fresh. We even enjoyed the french fries. We will be eating there again on our next day.

My wife and I had breakfast here twice during our stay and both times we had a pleasant experience. Wait staff were right on top of things. Our order was taken as soon as we decided what we wanted and the coffee was hot and plentiful. The food was great and portions were large. All said a very good place.

Disappointed we went to this Claim Jumper. We used to go to the off strip Claim Jumper all the time when we lived there and it was great. This one is terrible. Not sure if it's because it's in the Golden Nugget or attempts to cater to tourists but definitely won't be back. Menu items are different than the other Claim Jumper, portions are smaller and prices higher. The food itself tasted like cheap bar food and the service was lackluster to say the least. Dinner for 4 adults and 3 kids (with no alcohol or other drinks) was over $160 and should be amazing. Go get food from a convenience store, it will be better and save $$.

We stayed at the four queens but we ate here several times. They serve breakfast 24 hrs. a day and their coffee is delicious! Lunch was excellent also.

WE do enjoy eating here instead of the buffet. The food is good but the prices are too high so beware of that.

We ate there a few times during our stay at the Golden Nugget and found the food very good. The pot pie was huge and delicious and the breakfast was very good also. Good variety.

we went on christmas day and ordered fish and chips. My wife and I both agree that the fish was under cooked. we have been to many claim jumper restaurants and food has been good. I will try this restaurant again in the future and hope for a better experience. The service was good.

The restaurant is inside the Golden Nugget Casino. Mitchell was a very friendly and helpful member of the staff. Food was excellent.

My friends visiting never heard of claim jumper but were very impressed with the food, service and Raquel our server. Easy in and out of the Golden Nugget hotel and Casino

Reserved days ahead of time for Valentines night dinner February 14th . . . Not needing fancy just a good meal while staying the night in town Arrived exactly on time of reservation, and was promptly seated Then had about a 10-15 minute wait before any of the numerous staff deemed to take notice of us sitting there. There was a pillar on one side of us but totally open visually on 3 sides. So I don't believe we were that hidden. Meal and drink order then placed all at once not wanting to have staff disappear again before actual food got a chance to be ordered! Tea and Coffee did arrive at the table well before the meal. Good thing we were not drinking spirits, or then again maybe if we had been, by the time food arrived we may not have cared anymore . . Simple dinners of Country Fried Steak and the Fish and Chips . . Fish was decent, even still warm, but that was pretty much the extent of acceptable food that night. Country fry was so over cooked tough, one needed a lobster cracker to crack the breading and the mashed potatoes had not even a pretense of being mildly warm when meal was bought out The fries served with the fish were one notch better . . Both the tea and coffee were perfectly acceptable. When we left we were thankful we were able to find available fast food . . without reservation We normally really dislike drive through fast food! So on the whole, not at all what one expected for Valentines . . The meal wasn't a real bargain at $20 a head plus drinks It would have been totally reasonable had either the food or the service - one or the other been better!

My husband and I stopped here after hiking Lake Meads Railroad Museum Trail. The bread they give is amazing. I got the chicken Florentino and my husband got the fish and chips. The white fish is cod by the way. Their menu doesn't specify. Both were delicious.

We loved this place! We came here for breakfast and were not disappointed! My husband got chicken-fried steak and eggs and he said it was the best breakfast chicken-fry that he's ever had. The hash browns and gravy were great too! I had a ham steak and eggs with pancakes. They were amazing. We really enjoyed our meal here and the service was fantastic, also.

Not a bad restaurant in the Golden Nugget. Good quality of food with reasonable prices. Would go here again. Very good overall.

We ate here a bunch - mostly for breakfast but also a late lunch on the day we arrived. For lunch I had the clam chowder with smoked salmon and a bagel The soup was fantastic -- I've been thinking about it ever since! The salmon was fine - not much better than you'd buy at Sam's so that was a little disappointing. The rest of our meals were breakfast. It was mostly great but somewhat inconsistent, particularly the scrambled eggs. The first couple of days they were fluffy and cooked perfectly, but then it was like they changed cooks and the last two days they weren't good at all - there was very little seasoning and they were scrambled way to small. The hash browns and sausage were very good. I do wish they buttered the toast while it was still hot. By the time we got it, it was cold and not great.

Claim Jumper was decent! Decent food and decent service! Vegas was very different this time! We ate breakfast at the Claim Jumper almost every morning because it was close and predictable! Some of the restaurants were not open and some had closed permanently!

Since we went during the covid crisis the menu was limited, but did seem to have something for everyone. The steak was perfect. Wait staff gave some good suggestions but service was a little slow, perhaps because of the covid and they were very busy and only had limited tables. But yes I would go again when things get back to normal.

I carefully explained to the waitress that I would like Eggs Benedict if the eggs were poached easy -- cooked whites and runny yolks. She took notes and left for the kitchen. She returned with the breakfast and watched while I poked the egg yokes. They were hard-boiled. She offered to take it back and get another one, but I told her to leave it. Hard-boiled eggs aren't the worst problem in the world. Soon after, the manager appeared and made the same offer, but by then I had finished half the breakfast. He said there would be no charge for the breakfast. This was a generous gesture, and I complimented both him and the waitress who brought it to his attention. And, of course, I left a substantial tip. The kitchen goofed, but the waitress and manager did everything they could to compensate. Which was a pleasant surprise.

We visited and Stayed at the Golden Nugget Hotel 7/26 through 7/29/19. We ate at claim jumpers every day! The food and service was awesome! The drinks were great as well!

We ate at CJ's for a lunch and a breakfast. Both had very good service and good meals. From the eggs, pancakes, chicken breast salad to burger -- everything was hot, good and quick. Highly recommend for a quick casual meal that won't break the bank.

Came downtown primarily for the Fremont Street Experience light show and stopped in here for dinner. Non-guest parking is $10 for up to 2 hours and then up to $20. Arrived about 7:30 pm on weeknight and were seated in less than 5 minutes. Wide variety of food offerings on the menu. One of our party ordered clam chowder and garden salad, another the black tie pasta and I had the grilled fish tacos. Service was fast and attentive. All the food items were promptly served and at the appropriate temperature and tasted good.

I ordered the Egg's B and it was excellent. The egg's were perfectly cooked over sweet ham and muffin. The sauce was also very good. It came with a nice side of hashbrowns. Husband loves chicken fried steak and egg's for breakfast. He splurged at $20.00 to order this dish. He didn't like it. He said the meat tasted like liver. The batter coating on the steak was abut half an inch on each side. Thin slice of meat with lots of coating to make it look like a large piece of meat. He had to remove the batter from the steak just so he could eat it. Very good friendly service.

The food was reasonable for Vegas, and service was very good. I had a caprese salad, and although it was very good, it wasn't quite enough to fill me up (this was my own fault, I should have ordered more than just a salad).

We hadn't been to a Claim Jumper (now apparently just called CJ) in probably 20 years, so we weren't sure what to expect, but it was right there on Fremont Street and we were hungry, so we gave it a shot. Disappointed they didn't have a salad bar like in the old days. Tried the smothered mac n' cheese, the Caesar salad, and the Tri-tip Dip sandwich. The pasta was good, lots of flavor. The salad was about average, nothing special. But the tri-tip sandwich was amazing. Juicy, tender tri-tip with melted provolone, caramelized onions, and the show-stopper, roasted pasilla (or poblano) peppers. That sandwich was great - literally dripping with flavor. Worth a visit just for that!

A massive thank you to all the staff at the GoldenNugget LV who made our wedding dinner such a fabulous success, they are a hard to please crowd and you delivered the most delicious food, service and attention to detail. We had empty plates and full bellies. I had the pie and as a Yorkshire woman can honestly say it was the best pie I have ever eaten and wished i could have eaten more but it was a very hearty portion and the gift chocolate cake was literally to die for thank you all so much. I can not applauded and recommend you all more highly, what an amazing team you all are. Thank you thank you thank you From the newly wed Jane and Ian Stribley 👰♂️🤓🎂👏🏻 …. Sorry I do t have any pictures to share as we were all so engrossed in our super meal and time none of us took any, but here is one of us earlier in the day with Elvis at a little white chapel 😆😆😆🙌💕 All the staff and especially Keith were superb hosts

The french toast carrot cake is awesome the chocolate cake is great very good service love the onion rings

Amazing food, great service, our best breakfast experience in almost 20 trips to Vegas. No wait, other than this crummy app thats forcing me to reach 140 chatacters.

We stopped in for dinner and drinks, looked at the menu, and decided to bust our belts at a buffet instead. We hung around for two rounds of drinks, everyone satisfied. Service was prompt, friendly, and did not mind our change of plans.

Had breakfast under COVID rules. Omelet, toast, hash brown, turkey sausage and fruit. Quickly prepared. Bottomless coffee. Service efficient and staff nice to me. Well run hotel coffee shop.

We had breakfast here. Bacon and eggs and French toast. Delicious and large portions. Nice decor. Super service. If you are downtown, this is a must try.

Very well run!! Ate there several times during our stay. Very busy but quite efficient. Excellent service. Food was always hot and delicious and delivered in reasonable time. Chicken breast sandwich was especially top notch!

I enjoy arriving early in the morning and ordering the American Breakfast with OJ and playing Keno. The Keno starts at 8am, unfortunately. The bacon is nice and crispy and the toast is done just right. You can watch the Shark Tank from the first section of tables near the front. But still the breakfast can run you around $60 for two, which is not Denny's for Denny's quality food.

We decided to visit Claim Jumper and use our Landry's Select card to get priority seating. We were told by the Hostess that our card does not give us priority seating at that location and that they will not accept it. Thankfully, that was resolved with great care from your Guest Services Director. We ate lunch at Claim Jumper and at the end of our meal I gave the card to the waitress, and she would not accept the card. Needless to say, the standards at Golden Nugget are way below par.

Awesome food! And our waitress, Stephanie, really top notch. One of the best waitresses I have ever encountered. The ribs are to DIE for! It’s located in the Golden Nugget. A must try and ask for Stephanie!!!

So ordered food to go as I do from here every time. This time what I saw was unacceptable. A young lady took my order as well as sitting guests. She was doing a great job of ensuring she took care of everyone. After I placed my order I was sitting waiting on my food to be ready. The gentleman in the picture I posted (he’s the chef) started going off on the young lady over where she was sitting people. You could tell she was so embarrassed as she looked my way and turned her back and tried to disappear as the CHEF kept on and on. I’m in the customer service industry and most people know Management 101 is you don’t do this on the floor. If it is that necessary to reprimand someone right away pull them off the floor so WE don’t have to hear it. Very unprofessional and I will no longer eat nor stay here due to his actions. By the way the steak was over cooked.

Sometimes there is a bit of wait to get in. Food was very good and service was excellent. The speed of the service was great.

We ended up eating at the Claim Jumper Restaurant because the buffet at the Golden Nugget was not open due to the CoVid-19 virus. The service was excellent and my french dip sandwich was one of the best I have ever eaten. All four of us in our party really enjoyed the food and our server was exceptional, friendly and professional.

We ate here several times as were we staying at Golden Nugget. The food wasn’t bad, but the service was very slow, and they obviously didn’t care. The Cadillac Bar and Grille was around the corner in the same hotel and was much better.

I was recently staying at The Golden Nugget, Las Vegas when Halloween traffic basically stranded my friends and I from venturing out for dinner. So, we turned to the Claim Jumper in the hotel. Big Mistake. It was around 11:30pm when we ordered our tri-tip sandwiches (amongst other items) for the kickback in our room... The mashes potatoes, fries, onion rings, and cake were all fine, but those sandwiches were inedible. Bad. Dry. Crusty. Seemed like the dregs of whatever scraps of meat that had been laying around buried between two pieces of bread. Even the au just hardly helped. We tried calling down to the restaurant but apparently they had closed at midnight. We called back the next morning: no answer. So, I personally went down there after 'check out' and spoke to a manager named Jacob Lasano. I told him what had happened and gave him the receipt, but in response, he asked me to provide what was left of the sandwiches. I told him that they were upstairs, already trashed, and that we had tried to call down to no avail. And he said that he'd have to talk to his boss Justin Mouzoon. So, he disappeared for a short time, and when he came back it was basically, "Sorry, but if you no longer have the sandwiches handy, we won't be helping you." Sucks! I told him that we didn't expect a full refund or anything... just an apology and a small gift card or something, but nope! Bad business! From now on, any time that I'm staying downtown, I'm going to make it my mission to warn the tourists in CJ's line about the poor quality of food and service.

This was the Claim Jumper at the Golden Nugget. We only had dessert-carrot cake and vanilla ice cream. Great service from Randy and the carrot cake was excellent, in spite of the raisins ;)

We ate breakfast here on three different days and although it was busy we got in very quickly and the food was very good. The service was great!!!!

Good food and reasonable prices - there was always a line to get in but it moved fast. Breakfast entrees averaged about $15.00

We arrived hungry, so we decided to visit the Claim Jumper, I had a Breakfast Burrito, served with fruit. I thought was very good, but a bit expensive for sausage and eggs wrapped up in a tortilla shell. Service was ok, server was definitely busy. Felt like food took a long time to arrive, but maybe that was because I was hungry. No real compaints.

Visited with a bunch of buddies who hadn't seen each other for a while. We were able to relax from our travels and catch up without a lot of pressure from the very chill server, even though a couple of people didn't order food and just sat and drank water due to the time zone difference and the late hour. Those who ate agreed the food was good, and hit the spot -- omelettes, sandwiches, burgers, and the like. This became one of our go-to places to meet for a meal on this visit. Worth a try.

Delicious food!! My wife and I got the potato skins appetizer which was great, as an entree I got the tri tip dip sandwich with au jus. Michael was our server and did an awesome job!

I always enjoy eating at the Claim Jumper as the menu is varied and breakfast is always available. This is not a fancy restaurant but the service and food are good and the prices reasonable. Located inside the Golden Nugget out of the crziness of the crowd. Recommended.

We had breakfast here every day during our week long stay. We had the waffles, eggs, pancakes, omelettes, oatmeal, bacon, ham, orange juice, fresh fruit, and hash browns. It was cooked exactly as requested every time. I can't speak about their other meals, but breakfast was amazing. It is also nice because it is away from the casino floor which made for a quieter and smoke free meal.

Stayed at the Nugget for Punk Rock Bowling. Stopped at the Claim Jumper for breakfast and late night munchies. Both times the food was just what we needed. I highly recommend the cheeseburger.

Chain restaurants get a bad rap because most chain restaurants in my experience are at the best mediocre. How about a petit fillet mignon for less than $30.00 in Vegas? The steak was as tender and flavorful as it's $ 50.00 counterpart. My husband had fish and chips, he left nothing behind! Next time you are in downtown Las Vegas, go tho claim jumper...you will be happy you did!

We truly enjoyed our meals here. Use to go to the one close to my job in LA. Moved so when I saw this one in Vegas had to go. Did not disappoint.

Selected Claim Jumpers over many other options at the Golden Nugget. 12 oz. Ribeye with baked potato and green beans was my selection. Steak was only about 1/2 inches thick but it was cooked and seasoned okay. Baked potato was loaded with butter, which was okay by me. Green beans were tasty, but had cooled off by the time we were served. Service was good.

We ate dinner here and came back for breakfast the next morning. The wait staff were very helpful, the food was good, and it was not too noisy.

We spent 2 nights at the Golden Nugget. The CJ saved our trip. We don’t normally stay in the downtown area but prefer the strip. The CJ was our one and only favorite at the Golden Nugget. Excellent food and service.

This spot is inside the Golden Nugget hotel and is a chain. Food was ok and for it to just be ok the price was a little high. The staff was GREAT though!

By the time we were seated it was well past my normal coffee time. Since there are no coffee makers in the rooms I was feeling pretty cranky! The server saved the day- kept my mug filled and we had a great meal. The process getting a table would not be recommended for elderly but most of us can use a phone camera and figure out how it works. I asked for a paper menu. Too hard to read on my phone. Theres always a line at later times so I ordered my food to go and ate in my room vs, and hour and 20 minute wait. Overall- not a bad experience if you know what you are getting into.

The food was exceptional! I highly recommend the shrimp tacos. I cannot say enough about them with two jumbo shrimp they were the best I've ever had. What takes our experience over the top was our waitress, Michele C. From the moment we arrived her bright smile, her friendly disposition and her instinctive service made it the highlight of our dining experience on Fremont St. We will return over and over again.

Popped in here after my husband and inlaws had been to the Mob Museum. I'm not a fan of Downtown but I remember eating here on a previous visit and we had enjoyed it so we decided to give it another go. The portions are huge and I barely got through the top layer of my chicken pot pie. The rest of the party thoroughly enjoyed their meals too so big thumbs up.

While staying at the Golden Nugget, my wife and I had breakfast and lunch at the Claim Jumpers restaurant. Our breakfast was excellent. We both chose the eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The ham was tasty and the English muffins were fresh and the hollandaise sauce was very good. Darin was our server and he was excellent. The orange juice was also very good. We came back for lunch and chose to share a cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was cooked to order, however, the onion rings were just okay. They had too much breading and note enough flavor. The burger was very good. Benjamin was our server and took good care of us.

We always stop at the claim jumper restaurant while staying downtown Vegas. It was excellent as always. They paid special attention to covid19 safety which we appreciated. We had chicken fingers, club sandwich plater, and chicken fettuccini ! All excellent. They currently have a more limited menu but it has many favorites still on it. You cannot go wrong. The portions are nice and large.

We stopped by here as they would not let us check in until 4pm. Person who was responsible for seating us could not have walked any slower to reach us so we did not really feel welcome. We had a side of fries which were just about warm and a bowl of chowder which was okay. Server was trying to clear up whilst we were still eating. Would not come back here.

Since we were staying in the Golden Nugget and this place is in the hotel, open all night and yummy we decided to go down at 11pm to get a slice of carrot cake, surprisingly they were packed but sat us right down and were served right away. We went back a day later for breakfast and the same thing. They were super busy but there was no wait, we sat down and ordered and received our food right away. It came out hot and fresh..My mom ordered the french toast and I ordered the breakfast platter some sort of combo. YUMMY! Good value for what I got. Ended up going back later for soda and some appetizers. I ordered the buffalo wings and they were so good. I ended up eating a 11pc by myself they were so good.

Inside the Golden Nugget, this restaurant gets very busy. Portions are decent size. Healthy options. Tasty. Excellent service. Good cocktails. Prices are what you'd expect for a hotel restaurant.

Great food every time, reasonably priced, a little something for everyone's taste. You can play Keno while you dine and the candied bacon is to die for.

The ambience and courteous staff welcome diners as they enter the restaurant. Excellent choices on the menu and the food portions are generous and well prepared and taste and flavor are both excellent. A little higher priced but well worth te cost.

This was by far, the best dinner we had while in Laughlin. Shared the chicken pot pie and hot pastrami sandwich. Awesome. The pastrami was so tender and the chicken pot pie was the best I have had! I actually thought this dinner beat the Range Steakhouse and Guy Fieri's El Burro Borracho in Harrah's. This will be my first stop when back in Laughlin.

Wonderful waitress; pot pie was spectacular; country fried steak and garlic potatoes were wonderful; much more than we could eat; so sense taking leftovers; no way to cool or heat in our room

Got there right as the menu was allowing lunch and dinner. Amazing dishes to try from. Family of 6 and we got everything from breakfast to dinner. HUGE portions and amazing taste. We will be back and best part it was inside our Hotel (Golden Nugget) and they are open 24/7!

Plenty of food with your order,,good service, and of course like the idea you can play Keno while dining!!!

We visited at the end of a long day at Fremont Street. We shared an appetizer as we were still full from yummy pizza earlier in the day. We had the appetizer platter which was yummy and we fou, don’t even finish it! The fried zucchini was yummy and the spinach dip was so good! Our server was pleasant and attentive. We visit Golden Nugget lake Charles frequently so we may have to go to Claim Jumper on our next visit! Thanks for a good visit!

First time I had Steak and Shimp and it was wonderful. Came back the next day and had the fish. It was very plane. My wife said her two dinners were plane, salid one night and burger the next.

Was a little disorganized at the entrance but the food was fabulous and Hector was amazing!!! Hector was our waiter and he was great!!! Food came out quickly and hot. Was a little pricey but it was worth it!

If you want an excellent meal that won't break the bank, this is the place for you. Tons of selections to choose from. I love that they serve breakfast all day. Service is always good and the food comes quickly.

Not much to say...the food, especially the steak, was outstanding. The prices were very reasonable. Service was very good as well. Definitely recommend for a casual sit-down meal.

Played Keno while eating eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns. Keno gets my gambling juices flowing. Waitress was ok. Good old fashioned American breakfast.

I get it that it's COVID, but poor service and not great food. Breakfast was cold and did not get everything ordered

When we arrived, we were told we needed a reservation, but if we wanted to wait we could come back in about 5 minutes and be seated. We did, but 2 parties who returned to the hostess stand AFTER we did were seated before us. When we sat down, we noticed the restaurant was pretty much empty. I'm not sure why we were told we had to come back in 5 minutes when there were plenty of socially distanced tables available. Our server was nice and she got our order in quickly. The food is good, we had a burger and fries, and the price is about what you'd expect for Vegas, but a little more expensive than most restaurants on Freemont Street. I'd probably eat here again.

Our group of four had a great dinner. The chicken strips were excellent. The portion seemed slightly smaller with the French fries than previous times. We were given 5 nice size pieces of chicken that was served fresh and hot. The server was great and personable. The restaurant was neat and clean. However, the one appetizer I usually get has changed from zucchini planks to zucchini sticks. I was so disappointed, I did not order them and for this reason alone took my review down a notch. I love zucchini planks and this is one thing I look forward to here. You can’t find zucchini planks everywhere, mostly in PA. where I understand they were originally created. So, when a restaurant has them, I jump at the chance to order them. I’m sad and disappointed that CJ modified their menu and changed this one staple that was outstanding on their menu. That being said yes, the menu has been changed. They did keep some of the original menu.

This was our first time eating at this restaurant. The waiter was excellent. The food was great, especially the caramel, candied pecan dessert. The portions were large. I definitely recommend visiting one of their locations. I will look for one when traveling in the future.

Decided to have breakfast here one morning during my stay at the Golden Nugget food was good but a tad overpriced and nothing special and the morning queue ..... The restaurant is open 24/7 basically for the gamblers to refuel Around 7am in the foyer just outside Claim Jumpers Restaurant is a mobile On the Go breakfast and again a tad overpriced but else you go outside to the many available options to eat it is convenient especially if you are picking up a day tour etc

We ate here quite often and it was well worth it! The food was great, and the wait staff was very good.

The restaurant is located in the Golden Nugget Hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive. There is a good selection of food.

We always stay at the Golden Nugget when we come to Las Vegas. We always go to Claim Jumper at least twice while we are there. Convenient for us because it is in the hotel but the food is excellent as well as the service. Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. They hit on all. We usually have breakfast but the lunch is good also. The whole menu is available all day. Don't sleep on the Claim Jumper. Lines can be long sometimes but it moves pretty fast. Enjoy.

Loved the large cups for coffee! Enjoyed my eggs benedict. A little noisy but it was a holiday and there were large groups walking by us.

Popped in here late one night to share a piece of cake. What a piece of cake it was! Delicious and well worth the visit! Located in the Golden Nugget hotel on Freemont Street - old Vegas. Highly recommend!

Forced to go here with friends and returned 2 more times as the food was fantastic. Steak was killer as were the wings and waffles. Everything was delicious. Prices are great and portions large. The only downside is waiting to get in sometimes and the slow service.

We went here on a Saturday morning for breakfast and it was phenomenal! It was very busy but we were seated right away. The waitress came over almost immediately, and our food came out to us very quickly. The french toast was so good, and the eggs, sausage, hash browns, etc. were great. They also have the best toast, which sounds weird but trust me, it's tasty. The atmosphere is pretty chill. They do have a really good blood orange mimosa as well. We definitely recommend this place and will come back for breakfast next time we visit. You get a good amount of food and the price falls right in line with what you get.

Selection of sandwiches, salads, a few entrees and breakfast fare. Food was good, large portions. Service was friendly and prompt. Price was reflective of being in a casino but not prohibitive.

I love the food here, every time I'm in town it is a must! It is a lot of food!! And there is something for everyone.

Really its a 3.5 rating. We arrived at the hotel at 1am and walked past the restaurant and it was jumping. Crowded, happy faces and all. Unfortunately we were too tired to dine in so we opted to have breakfast there the next morning. The waffle with berries was awesome. The side of bacon was a little salty. my husband had the steak which unfortunately wasn't as good as it looked on the menu or the sign. There was a lot of fat on the steak. Over all the restaurant was a good choice. It's definitely a must try.

Went there on Saturday evening with family members. Have eaten at other Claim Jumpers. Ordered the chicken fried steak. Ample sized servings, almost more than one can eat. However, the taste of the steak was off, salt & pepper couldn't correct. Disappointed with this particular meal; you decide on valance of menu offerings. Because of the numerous restaurants available, likely won't try this one again.

Nobody wants Denny's quality without Denny's prices...and this ain't denny's prices. I rather get a cup of coffee and a croissant from Starbucks than start my day getting ripped off.

5 retired couples from az were enjoying the freemont street experience. Went for dinner At Cj’s and were all seated quickly and together. Luis was our server and was exceptional. Everyone’s food was great from steaks to chicken pot pie to meatloaf to cheeseburgers. A little slow getting food out of kitchen but worth the wait

If you're staying at or near the Golden Nugget the Claim Jumper is a solid restaurant option to consider for casual dining. We only had breakfast there (which I believe they serve all day). We had the breakfast special (eggs, meat of choice, hash browns and toast) for approximately $19 a plate. Our server was attentive and the staff were friendly. Our food came out fast and did the job of fueling us in preparation for a day of debauchery on Fremont Street.

A huge plate of yummy American classics! Ribs, BBQ chicken and grilled shrimps accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes and some BBQ beans with pork.

I ate at Claim Jumper recently before attending a Friday night concert at Golden Nugget. I had a Landry gift card, which came in handy. The menu is extensive and the food well prepared and tasty. I thought it would just be another chain restaurant, but I was surprised to find that it is a step above most similar restaurants. Will surely go back and will recommend it to others.

The Claim Jumper is our never-fail for dining when we are staying at the Golden Nugget in downtown Las Vegas. The service and food are always great. The portions are huge. The wait staff is always friendly and accommodating. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

While staying at the Golden Nugget, we decided to have breakfast at The Claim Jumper. We had to wait in line for a few minutes so get there early. I had a California Omelet and my husband had the American Breakfast. Both meals were very good and reasonably priced. Loved the hash browns! Our server, Karen, was great - friendly and efficient.

There were 2 tables surrounding us early Saturday morning and to top it off there was hair on the ham of my breakfast sandwich. Probably won’t return

CJ's was in our hotel. We were seated right away. The waitress was very good and friendly. The food was very good.

Good variety of food and good prices. Casual dining in a quiet setting. Has a full bar and lot's of great dishes to choose from.

good service but the food was on the poor side steaks were dry and over cooked. potatoes were over cooked all and all not good for the price they charge

Everyone in our party ordered a different dish. All had great flavor. From steak, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken pot pie, to seafood all were delicious. The surprising thing is that the cost was about half of what it would have been on the Strip.

We were all starving and found this place and we were all happy we did. They had breakfast items ( half of our group of 8 opted for that) and also regular dinner options. Everyone was pleased and the service was great!!

Pass on the waffle...it was so hard and crispy....terrible. My friend had a regular egg and bacon breadfast and said it was good. Service was quick and very good, and the prices were good. Not that many places still have Keno, so we enjoyed playing it there.

My wife & I, along with another couple had breakfast at Claim Jumper restaurant inside the Golden Nugget hotel & casino this morning. Our friends had eaten there several times before, but this was our first trip. The line was long this morning, but as a lady who had dined there came out as she left and said, " the line may be long, but it's worth it." She was right. I had the build your own omlet. My wife had the french toast. Our friends both had a build your breakfast with eggs, pancakes, and a meat selection. The build your own omlet lets you pick 3 items. I selected bacon, sausage, & cheddar cheese. They have around 10 selections & 4 diffrent cheeses to choose from. My omlet was excellent. My wife had a huge portion of french toast and the flavor was great. Very nice, attentive service. I have a Landry's Select Club card and being my birthday month, I received a $25 bonus. The manager made it a point to personally come wish me happy birthday, which I thought was a very nice gesture considering the restaurant was as busy as it was. Very enjoyable experience.

Had breakfast two mornings in a row. You cannot go wrong. Everything was prepared properly, hot and delicious. The service is great as well. Everyone is extremely friendly.

They just forget about you. They couldn't even find record of my bill, I had to walk out after wait 45 minutes to pay.

The food is over priced for the quality. The service was fine and timely. The atmosphere is nice. The website promised offerings the restaurant did not have.

Sometimes the wait can be a little long, but once seated, service is good. Like the other locations you get reasonable portion sizes without killing the budget. Very nice size salads.

We’ve been very pleased each time we’ve visited. They changed the turkey club presentation and quite frankly it’s easier to eat the old way. Still very good but why change it? Our friend ordered the fish and chips and she said it was good. The highlight of our night was the zucchini sticks.....absolutely the best! We enjoy this restaurant and will definitely go back.

Not a fancy place but the food was good prices were right ant the service was very good. Special thank you to Louis for making meal very enjoyable.

Not bad for breakfast but the dishes are huge. Some of the listed calories are more than I eat in a day!

We ended up at Claim Jumper after a failed reservation at Cadillac Mexican Kitchen (I didn't realize the reservation was for backless table-top chairs and we had 3 people who couldn't do that). The hostess at CJ worked our party of 7 in quickly and without that look of panic that you sometimes see while the staff pushed tables together to get us in quickly. Our group was seated within 10 minutes - just enough time to look over the menu and park their mobility scooters. It was a little after 6PM on a Monday during the Delta variant of COVID so it may have been slow but service was phenomenal. Danel (I may be butchering his name - he was from the same place as Michael Jackson) was our server and he handled our eclectic bunch with grace and style. We (Steven and I) split an order of the potato skins (they left off the bacon on request - yay!) and a veggie burger (I think it ended up being a Beyond Burger or Impossible, neither of which are mentioned on the menu). We were admittedly slightly intoxicated so any and all food was appreciated. The rest of the party had everything from salad (something with chicken that looked like it could feed two) to pot pie (with a tasty crust!) and drinks. All in all, it was a great experience - I wouldn't pass up checking it out if your crowd is interested in standard American fare. (We prefer more adventurous food, but this served our party very well) Check out more of our review on the YouTubes!

We ate here a few years ago and thought we’d give it another go The menu had a few different options we could have gone for - so happy with that. Initially found the server to be a little challenging to deal with, and he seemed to deliberately misunderstand what we were asking for - however her did turn this around before we left Food was tasty, and massive portions. Wine was good

Had breakfast there this morning. Fanatic meal with decent prices. Had a $15 off coupon which was great. The food was hot and fast. Good coffee. Would recommend this at least for breakfast. The service may not be over friendly, but very efficient!

The morning after we checked in at the hotel, apparently some people decided to dine at this claim jumper inside Golden Nugget Las Vegas and charged $450 worth of food to our room. My husband and I were in Chinatown having breakfast at the time specified shown on the restaurant bill that the manager presented to us when we made our complaint. Anytime a hotel guest charges something to the room they are supposed to provide ID to verify that they are in fact staying in that particular room. I don’t know what happened in this instance. I am going to give the server the benefit of the doubt that he or she may have transposed the room number and accidentally assigned to ours, rather than committing fraud and in collusion with these people. Management advised that they would check the cameras and get back to us. However, 24 hrs have passed and no response from claim jumper and we have already checked out of the hotel. This is beyond UNACCEPTABLE. All we wanted to do was to have a short vacation to get away from all the chaos this year, but yet we were met with more craziness. If these people committed fraud, they are nothing but scum.

Eggs are Eggs. Bacon not. Ordering bacon, be ware that you will only get two slice. If you want three with breakfast fo the the 4 Queens, We felt that the breakfast at the 4 Queens was better anyway. Both variety and price.

This was good food fare. It had ample selections, and satisfied my desire to eat. There are many places to eat in the area, but for inside the hotel, this was fine for me. Prices are a little high.

This restaurant is always excellent. The pancakes are the best and eggs with bacon comes always in the old fashion way with hash brown. For the rest we have eaten there the steaks, salades, salmon etc. everything is well done

It has a new menu and it is wonderful. We were aware of the super soups and we shared them to our delight. We ordered from the new steak menu and our eyes burst with delight.

The food was good but at the prices charged it should have been outstanding. Services was above good but staffing was short and that played a huge part in my review.

I've been told that this restaurant is moving & it can't happen soon enough! Service is terrible, long waits, rude servers, cold food.

This restaurant was amazing. We enjoyed breakfast twice while staying at The Nugget. Would recommend anyone staying or dropping by to grab a bite to eat.

I recommend the American breakfast. Its very good and eggs are made to order. I recommend you tell the server how you like your bacon or other breakfast meats cooked. I prefer my bacon crispy and it is a must to tell them in order to have it that way.

Enjoyed our dinner. The menu had a variety of options. Our waiter Donnell did an awesome job!! The price is probably a little higher than some of the Vegas restaurants. But if you are reading this, you know what to expect. Recommend the Fish Tacos or the Steak and Shrimp.

Another previously good chain goes down the hill. Used to love CJ, now just adequate food. Service was slow. Salad was limp. Steak was a good size and cooked perfectly but there was nothing special about it. Average at best. Won't be back.

Consistently a great breakfast with excellent in and out service! The KENO girl was knowledgeable, friendly

Didn’t expect to,find such good food in downtown Vegas. Granddaughter had the French toast. It was to die for. The Shrimp and steak we had was all excellent. The service was on point.

Located between your room and the casino floor, offers a large variety for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, enjoyed all three meals

It was full so we sat in the bar and were lucky enough to have Sean as our server Chinese chicken salad, tri tip medium rare and a new menu item lobster pasta. Quick service with our beer and soft drinks

I discovered Claim Jumper during my last visit to Downtown. I purposely visited C.J.'s again and my appreciation for this establishment only grew. From greeting, to food, to the service Claim Jumper hit all notes possible. Our server Raul was prompt, attentive, and offered top notch service while the entire establishment was full. My friends and I were seated in a cozy booth directly across the Live Keno counter in the rear of C.J. We bought our usual 5 games of Live Keno, and enjoyed the atmosphere. The lighting of C.J.'s fit our mood as we decompressed from the constant stimulation of the casinos. We treated ourselves to the shrimp cocktail, Asian chicken salad, chicken pot pie, and the calamari. We cherished every bite while being checked upon by our server Raul. The servings were ample (Las Vegas Vacation portions are "The Life"). The price at Claim Jumper is "mid-range", but its vacation! Indulge and you will not break your wallet. You might even be the guy randomly next to us who Hit 5 out of 5 numbers on live Keno for $1015.00. Vegas, it's the LIFE and so is Claim Jumper!

Great place we loved our meal so lovely and fresh and filling! The pot pie was recommended to my dad and he couldn't finish it said it was amazing!

This is inside the golden nugget. We had breakfast for three people. I had breakfast burrito (vegetarian by choice). The eggs are cooked properly and the food was seasoned well.

Good service, nice food, quick meal. Enjoyed fish and chips. Filled the gap, when you don't want a big night out.

Been to Vegas many times. Decided to stay at the Nugget. Smart move on my part. Claim Jumper serves all meals and we had breakfast. Food was great, service was excellent. Will definitely go back on next trip.

Quality fish. Next time the Chinese chicken salad. See if it is as good as Chin Chin. Sfgrvb hhy dsetv vg jrr .

If you want a bite to eat in the NUGGET but dont want anything too exotic, its brilliant. HUGE cake portions!!

Quaint restaurant in the Golden Nugget hotel. Efficient and pleasant staff. The food was okay not anything special. Staff were friendly and always came around to see how we were doing. Didn’t particularly care for staff coming around to solicit to play Keno but I guess when you are in Vegas that is what most people do.

This place has really good food. Don't expect them to be open 24 hours like they claim. We went there at 1am and they were closed.

The food was okay, but the drinks were not good. Our party had a variety of different drinks and no one was happy. The food is just okay, but the service is friendly and we did not have to wait long.

Loved our visit for dinner. Chicken pot pie was so darn good, and so much of it. Chicken fried steak was also very good. Give it a try

We were on Fremont Street and decided to have lunch so we went into The Gold Nugget's Claim Jumper and were delighted. The drinks were reasonably priced and wel made. The food was great. My husband had the meatloaf and really enjoyed it. I had the Chicken Pot Pie and was blown away, it was the best I ever had. It was huge and filled with chicken. the sauce complimented the chicken perfectly and the crust was flaky and cooked perfectly. A definite go to in Vegas.

The food was great and the portions were gigantic. The service was a little bit slow, but it was acceptable. The prices are very high which has become the norm for hotel food and a departure from the past.

The food here is very good and the service is wonderful. They have fried green tomatoes that are so good. You won’t be disappointed if you try them.

This is a great place for a late night meal after playing the slots. Despite how busy it was we did not wait long for a table. Our server was at our table quickly. And once we ordered were happy with how quickly our meals arrived. We want to acknowlege a wonderful server by the name of Sam. Very attentive and had a wonderful demeanor. Will be back next time in Las Vegas in April.

I felt like my eggs were power the bacon was so thin it looked like they cut it with a mandolin, we ate dinner there one night and my fish taco's were good but my husbands fish and chips were over cooked and the grease tasted old I can't believe he ate breakfast the last day for convenience thinking the pancakes could not be messed up but believe me they were the worst he only ate a quarter of it I said I was waiting to eat at the airport.

Overall it was very well worth going and you can always depend on solid food and service vs taking a chance somewhere else. I like the lunch specials the best.

The Claim Jumper is open 24 hours, which is a plus. It is a little pricey, but the quantity of food served is very generous. (You might split an order with another person and both have enough to eat.) The Claim Jumper IS Golden Nugget's room service, but charges for room service are hefty. (Read the small print!) Service is consistently good, and you can have fun playing small denomination bills on Keno while waiting for your food.
Ok service
We visited last week and their service and restaurant was just average. First they make you reserve ahead of time but then they leave the restaurant more than half empty even though the tables are clearly far enough apart. They had people waiting forever even with reservations and definitely understaffed once sat. They have not handled the COVID processes well at all.
