Delicious

Visited with children. We loved the atmosphere and food/cocktails were fantastic. Steak was amazing as were the short ribs. Fries, cauliflower and sprouts were delicious!

Food and Ambiance!

By Jennifer S |

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local on the plane out to Las Vegas. At first, the service was a little slow. To the point that I was worried we had been forgotten. But once we got going, everything was great! The spicy clams were so delicious, and the garlic potato mash I had with my filet was also very tasty. The steak was good, but not great. I felt it could have had more flavor. Overall, the experience was good and I'm glad we made the trip there. Be sure to check out the paintings!

Excellent

By Fritz |

I really enjoy this place, food and service are excellent. Try the flat bread appetizer. The capriccio is also excellent.

nice place for steak/seafood

By desertfoxxx |

Herbs and Rye has been a favorite of mine for years and I couldn't help but head over to this new spot. Similar menu, expanded with more seafood options. Huge cocktail menu, plenty of wines to chose from. Surf and turf was excellent, steak cooked to order, tender lobster, whipped potatoes and some asparagus. My guess is that with a bit of tweaking, this place will really come into form.

This was our meal while in

By Ronman1026 |

This was our meal while in Vegas, the one I depended on to be 100% perfect! Steak, drinks, anniversary dinner with my queen. And they nailed every....single...aspect of the night!! From the hostess to the server, everyone was fantastic. Special thanks to Jessica for the recommendations, the smiles and for turning us on to ‘digestifs’ Matthew was amazing, brought champagne and donuts around for our celebration. Food was top notch, could have cut the ribeye with a fork. My only complaint was that I now waddle when I walk, because we ate entirely too much, it was that good!!

We heard about Cleaver’s in passing at Uber wait stand. awesome Steak

By Bob E |

We heard about Cleaver’s from fellow Uber rider. Was told it was great and priced well, Best advice I’ve received yet. Steaks were half off during happy hour and we both had the 16oz rib eye that was cooked perfect (as requested) and beef was so tender. Will be back!!!

Great place!

By li_walk |

What a great place! From the ambiance to the service to the cocktails to the food - it’s all excellent! We will definitely be back!

Half price Excellent steak! Great value at happy hour!

By KasperAlex |

Some friends and I had excellent steaks at half price during the happy hour that runs until 7:30!! There are also appetizers that are available at half price. Side orders are served in large bowls to allow sharing. Great meal!

Great place for Steaks

By Andy B |

Great dinner, my wife had the filet and loved it I had the 16 ounce Ribeye that was cooked to perfection. Our server was Devon and was very helpful with our selections. Next trip to Vegas we will return Thanks for a wonderful experience.

World Class Steak

By Aaron B |

This was one of the best steak houses I ever dined at. Their cuts of meat were super high quality. The servers were super professional and locked in. I had so many apps I was nearly full for dinner. I would recommend getting your steaks "Oscared"

Setting the bar for a steakhouse

By RobJohnsonUS |

One of the best dining experiences I've had...ever! Walking up to the restaurant, it's tucked away in a very unassuming strip mall that looks like a medical office building. But when you open the door to the restaurant, you immediately get absorbed by the fun, quirky vibe. Our server was Alex. Alex was the epitome of an outstanding server. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about his menu and had a mastery understanding of cocktails. He asked relevant questions to help guide our decisions. And every suggestion nailed it. The grilled oysters are next level. Sea bass crispy and melt-in-your-mouth buttery. The steak of course was the highlight. NY Strip, med rare. Dare I say we've now been spoiled and it will be hard to find a steakhouse or any restaurant that tops this.

I love this place!

By Javon |

Everything was perfect like always, I had a family emergency so my son and I didn’t get to enjoy our steaks 😩. We’ll be back soon though!

Good food, good service.

By davgoodman |

This is less a steakhouse than a bar that serves food. The lighting is almost non existent and the bar is the centerpiece of the place, but the booths are comfortable and the food is very good. It isn't a place for families or people who don't like the bar scene and the constant music that comes with it, but if you are looking for a place that is open late and serves a quality steak, this is for you.

Great Steak in out of way location

By Bob E |

Great Steaks, Great Service, easy to get reservations compared to on the strip steak houses. Super service staff always attentive but not in your face. B

Disappointing

By Mike |

I was really looking forward to trying Cleaver. Love steak and steakhouses, especially old Vegas style. The atmosphere was a fun blend of old and new. The paintings of Eddie Murphy and Chris Farley were fabulous. Unfortunately, the food was a miss. I ordered a NY Strip cooked medium. It arrived and I took my first bite, and it had a very strange favor, I can't even describe it other than to say it tasted like fresh cardboard smells. It wasn't overcooked like you'd describe a well-done steak, it literally tasted like cardboard smells. I can't describe it any other way. A friend tried to too and agreed that it tasted off. I did not send it back, and maybe it was just a bad cut of meat. But this was my experience. The other guests with me probably would've given this place a 3 or maybe a 4 out of 5 stars, I think they enjoyed their meals. The sides were ok, a solid 4. Street corn, Mac and cheese, and garlic mashed potatoes. We ordered the Confit Wings app, it came with 8 winglets and drummies and was pretty good. The dessert was really awful, a toffee pudding which we assumed meant toffee or caramel flavor, but instead came with a berry compote. It wasn't good at all. The service was great. No complaints there!

New place needs some work to be a good steakhouse

By J Elias P |

Was referred to this restaurant as the new sibling for another steakhouse Herb and Rye. Given the good rep of the original, didn't think twice about this place. We had a party of 6 and were given an "expanded" table of 4...and the guys were all big (well over 220 pounds)--Starting off with an less than adequate table. Our waiter must have been brand new. Slow, not sure of himself, not ready for prime time. Took forever to get our drinks and we were on a deadline to get order in by 8PM to take advantage of the 1/2 price on steaks offer this new place promoted. Given how slow our waiter was (and he said there was an auto clock to prevent ordering after 8) I never thought we would get our order in on time. (It took him over 7 minutes to come to the table upon arrival even to say hello). The place was NOT packed but the service reflected a major inefficiency or lack of familiarity which was very obvious to us. The food was fair for a steakhouse. Nothing bad nothing great. Just bland and not memorable. Still with the discount the bill was nearly $500 for 6 people. For that kind of money I would rather go to one of the best in the city pay for great food and service then try to safe a little and be so greatly disappointed. Physically, the place is also very bland. Beyond the small table the place looks like a minimal amount of money and time was invested from whatever it use to be to get it opened. Overall, a pass on this one if you really want a good steakhouse experience.

Great value and atmosphere off the Strip

By SaraPA |

I had dining in a casino/on the Strip. Always feels like such a rip off....This was a quick drive with easy parking. Seems a bit sketchy and next to a gym...But as soon as you walk in, you are transported to another time and place! Dark, wood, high banquette tables. We were seated in the bar and had great service. Happy Hour before 8P is a great deal--half off 3 appetizers (oysters, mussels and steak Tartare, I think?) and a number of steaks. Cocktails are solid and prohibition style. Steaks were excellent! We had a Filet and a Ribeye (oscar Style) with mashed potatoes and street-style corn. Definitely get the corn! My steak was a little...cool (thus the 4 star rating). And we were advised to order a degree "up" (ie I prefer MR and told to order medium as they tend to "undercook compared to what you are used to"). This was bad advice. Both of our steaks were a little overcooked. Again, why the 4 stars. But I would definitely go back! Get off the Strip and live a little :-)

Grown up stylish restaurant, bar, food and drinks.

By Sherpa41573718743 |

Recommended to us by the concierge at New York New York. We booked a table and arrived to find an amazing retro restaurant tucked away in a slightly off strip location. The restaurant and bar were superb, it was stunning inside and we felt very special. They had a good choice of foods and cocktails. Ben our waiter was really knowledgeable and helped us choose some special cocktails. We had steak, seafood pasta, chicken with a salsa verde and squid ink pasta. Delicious food and a very grown up night celebrating a 21st Birthday.

Great service, Decent food, No domestic beer

By mmlesueur |

While the service was great and the food was decent (filet and pork belly Mac and cheese), there was no domestic beer and it was VERY loud in the restaurant which ruined the rest of the experience.

Amazing!!

By Cyn |

Just want to recognize our waiter Ben and the crew on 06/26/21. Always amazing service from the entire staff and the amazing attention to detail. We were asked if there was an occasion and I just made a quick mention that I bought a home and wanted to celebrate at Cleaver. (We like to support local restaurants.) This little detail was passed on to Ben who made sure to bring us a dessert and drinks to celebrate. Amazing! It was a lovely surprise and we really enjoyed it! The food...PERFECTION! *CHEF'S KISS* I always love bringing friends and family here for birthday's or special occasions. Will be back again.

Wonderful in every way!

By Jeani A |

This was our second time here in a group and everything was excellent! Service was attentive, on point, friendly and exactly what you would expect with a restaurant of this caliber! Food was delicious. I ordered the Octopus appetizer and it was meaty and perfectly prepared, beautifully presented and everyone in the group (that were 'first timers') loved it. Carpaccio and Spicy Mussels were yummy as well. Two of our group enjoyed the Surf and Turf with a very beautiful and healthy Lobster tail along with a nicely prepared Filet, Squid Ink pasta was devoured and Sea Bass....excellent! Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant, classy, elegant and every aspect of the dinner was enjoyable, especially with the Happy Hour benefits!

Great happy hour dinner

By Trix1111 |

Cleaver has a great atmosphere from the lighting, booths, and flooring to the antique style portraits that are actually modern celebrities. The happy hour menus include certain steaks and chops that make the dinner quite affordable. It is a la carte so sides will be extra, including sauces and bread and butter. I would go again.

Hidden Gem

By Laurie |

We joined friends who suggested this place. We had wonderful hand crafted cocktails to start, followed by a great meal and dessert. The building doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s large with many intimate seating areas. The bar is a great place to wait for your table to be ready. There is plenty of free parking right out front. The portions are large, so you may want to share. My friend had a great drink—The Porn Star. Check it out.

Good Times

By mauiwolf |

My group really enjoyed our dinner at Cleaver. There were a few little things that kept it from being five-star, but they didn’t deter my enjoyment. I think this is only worth going during the happy hour from 5-8 to get the half off steaks. The quality of the meat didn’t warrant full price. It wasn’t better than what my wife cooks on the grill, as far as the rib eyes and filets, though one member had some outrageously good pork chops. I’m okay with a $32 rib eye, but not $64. The mussels and steak tartar appetizers were both a huge success, and also half off. The spinach and blue cheese side was raved about, but the risotto side was undercooked and not good. Thankfully, it was taken off our bill at no charge. Something tells me it is undercooked a lot. We all had pre-meal cocktails and the server pretty much decided what we should have based on a few questions. I think everyone was pretty happy with what they got. Service was good. Izzy was friendly, her male companion, whose name I can’t remember was also friendly and helpful.

Amazing!

By ukinmiami |

What an amazing restaurant and if guests dine before 8 steaks are 50 percent off. Recommended by a friend who lives in Las Vegas. They know better than anyone! This is a top 5 steak restaurant in Vegas. It’s an Uber ride away but definitely worth the ride. My family shared the family style steak (meant for 3-5 people) One of the best steaks I have ever had. Fries are unbelievable too. Classic style looking steak house with a modern twist. I would request a booth. Great service, great food and one of the best experiences we have had on this particular trip.

We had a terrific dinner at Cleaver, an off strip restaurant in Las Vegas

By Anthony S |

We had a terrific dinner at Cleaver, an off Strip restaurant in Las Vegas. The menu was extensive and the food was delicious. Cleaver has happy hour prices from 5pm to 8pm, which means that a large percentage of its entrees are 50% off. Hence the prices are very reasonable. The décor is dark but attractive and it gets a very attractive clientele. The energy is high. The wait staff were charming and professional. The location is on Paradise, just north of Flamingo in a strip mall. We highly recommend Cleaver

Wow!

By LILovers |

Go, go, GO! Off the strip. Amazing cocktails!!! We only ordered fries, which were stacked in a weave basket. It was late. I will crave these until we return next year. Service was exceptional. Cannot wait to go back. Full meal this time. I wish I could describe how much we loved being off the strip, no smoke, old vegas feel with a new "hip" vibe.

Very Ineresting

By NormKeith |

We went to Cleaver restaurant for a special occasion birthday of my wife's son. He and his girlfriend had been there before and raved about it. This was like going back in time to an elegant low light restaurant except for the paintings for stars in interesting customs. The servers were pleasant and attentive. The food, we shared the Bone Marrow (blueberry demi-glace, toast points, herbs salad), Spicy Mussels, Bread and Butter, Brussel Sprouts with just the right amount of char and Bourbon Mashed Potatoes. My wife and I shared an 18oz Ribeye steak medium ( a tad bit over cooked as described to us) with our choice of Chimichurri sauce. My wife's son had the Ribeye steak with Cleaver sauce and his girlfriend had Lamb Chops. My wife had a Margarita (not blended like she asked for) and we shared a Creme Brulee. My wife's son had the Sticky Toffee Pudding. He had several drinks and his girlfriend had one drink. All in all the food was very good. Each person will need to decide if the price is justified. Be prepared to spend a few bucks.

Amazing steak and great service!

By Katie A |

Went here last night and it was absolutely fantastic, we had great drinks to start with an brillaint steak, all very reasonably priced (with the half price deal). We all ate extremely well, the service was great and the drinks were brilliant! Think it’s the best steak I have ever had and already looking forward to coming back on our next trip to Vegas! Portions were huge! There were 6 of us and we ordered 3 side which was more than enough. We had a fantastic time and it was great food!

Great Find Off-Strip! 👍

By Carl Phillips |

So glad we chose to come to Cleaver. Wonderful restaurant off-Strip. Great initial welcome on arrival and seated in a booth in the bar area. Attentive service from Antonio. Terrific Porterhouse Steak to share, accompanied by great side dishes. Loved the sprouts!!!! Definitely one to recommend and worthy of a visit. Thank you to the team! 👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another great birthday celebration at Cleaver!

By YolyPalomo |

The service, cocktails, wine list and food is delicious!! We love the clams & chorizo! This time we also had the octopus and that was also amazing! It’s a great place for locals!

great off the strip steakhouse!

By sissysmith64 |

i love steak. i've been to almost every steak house on the strip. this off strip steak house has become a new favorite. we sat at the bar, and the waiters, while busy, were so attentive. the steak was amazing, and 4 drinks, 2 appetizers and 1 steak with a side came to 156.00 great bargain for two people. definitely will go back and so on off strip visit.

Promised a lot. Delivered very little.

By Martin J |

We visited tonight after a recommendation from a local colleague. The restaurant is nice and the service friendly. The wine choice is extensive but there’s some pricey selections. We pitched for an $80 bottle and it was okay. Just okay. Starters of steak tartare was lovely. The clams with chorizo was below par. Chorizo wasn’t crispy and the clams were overcooked. They tasted frozen. Mains of NY strip was very good. Double pork chop had a nice crisp but was overcooked, tough and dry. Left nearly a third of it. The sides were average. Spinach with blue cheese was thrown together and the bourbon potatoes were tasteless. Overall is was okay but we were disappointed after getting such a good recommendation.

That squid ink pasta

By Rob H |

Loved it! I was expecting the squid ink pasta to taste a little fishy but instead it was very creamy and pleasant. The pork belly mac and cheese was great. The drink is called Batida. It was earthy and strong. Definitely worth checking out.

Jessica

By Jessi M |

5 stars for Jessica the manager trying to mess with all the married or taken employees in her restaurant on the low. really shows how dedicated she is in earning that extra buck giving great service not only to clients but all the employees!!

Awesome food and service

By coonrapidsduo |

The food and service were top notch! I had the flatiron steak and my husband had the squid ink pasta and both were perfect. We also had the passionfruit mango coconut tart for dessert and that was delicious. Happy hour prices are amazing.

Amazing and Mind Blowing!!!

By Joe G |

The atmosphere is incredible, the drink menu is amazing, and the food menu is outstanding! The mixologists were on their game, we had the most incredible cocktails before dinner. The food was to die for! We had a steak to feed the table as well as so many other dishes. The waiter was pure perfection with his recommendations and well as his service! I will absolutely be going back every time I go to Vegas as well as bring clients there for dinners!

Delicious & awesome vibe

By cnoble94 |

Ben was an excellent server, the vibe was awesome, & the food was unbelievable. Old school...prohibition type place. Highly recommend!!

We sat next to Bill Murray

By ZakrzM |

This is not the place you come if you want to be partially satisfied. Dave and Izzy knocked it out of the park with service. The ribeye, mac and cheese, steak tartar and brussel sprouts were simply orgasmic. Dave made some outstanding drink recommendations, then went above and beyond when he got us some donuts to go with our whiskey. I didn't know donuts even went with whiskey, but now I wont be able to have one without the other. Dave ruined me. Here's the deal breaker though...and this really pisses me off...I am giving this a 5 star rating, which means that I now have to rerate EVERY SINGLE place I've ever been because I didn't know this level of excellence in both food and service could exist together. This is going to take so much time. Also we went during happy hour and most things we ordered were half off. Winning!!!

One of best steaks ever

By richardgee1981 |

Absolutely fabulous restaurant food was unreal, only downside was the mains came out as we were still finishing our starters, they claimed this was normal and it's a European thing to have a little break between meals, maybe so, dunno.

Great food, view disappointing.

By addison09 |

Have dined here in the past and truly enjoy the atmosphere and decor. Prior to making my reservation, I had received an email from the GM stating, “So when you are free next, just use my personal reservation link. That way I can make sure you are being extra well taken care of.” We were seated in probably one of the least desirable area of the restaurant which was disappointing and away from the bar area and seemed more like a cafeteria vibe. Wasn’t a fan. The food was great and will visit next trip out.

Amazing steaks

By Deano7814 |

They do amazing steaks and cooked to perfection. We went during half price steaks and got the 18oz ribeye. Amazing. You don't need to order side dishes for each person because they are big. It's a Little expensive but well and truely worth a visit.

Just amazing

By coonrapidsduo |

We heard this place was great so we decided to make reservations and go there. From the minute we arrived until the minute we left everything was outstanding. The staff was amazing and very attentive. Our drinks did not even get close to being dry before they asked if we wanted them refilled. I had the steak with steak fries and my partner had the squid and pasta and everything we had was amazing. We were celebrating our anniversary so they brought us some sugarcoated mini donuts at the end of our meal and those were awesome. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The happy hour prices on drinks and especially the food were great.

Great Food - Great service

By Dave S |

This is an amazing place. Old school steakhouse vibe with updated flair. Great food at a great price. If you want Las Vegas steak and great service, this is the place. Been to several of the upper end well know places and you get the same here. Well worth the off strip travel

Late night getaway

By Mark Z |

Would recommend this restaurant to anyone! Been all over the United States and the steak ranks as one of my favorite! AAA+

it's good & it's fun

By steve k |

it's also really dark inside. the steaks are on the pricey side but happy hour is 5 to 8 and most of the steaks are half off thus my $64 ribeye was $32. it would be a rip at $64 but it's very reasonable at $32. the sides of au gratin cauliflower and the spinach were both delicious. the bar is well stocked offering some very nice variations on traditional drinks. we really enjoyed it and would return.

Amazing food, wine and cocktails.

By LongRanger338 |

Recommend by our concierge, we decided to try this one. So glad we did! The service was among the best I can recall anywhere. The multiple staff members seemed to work so well together to make our dining experience what it was. Truly exceptional. As for the food, there is an artist in the kitchen. There was nothing they put on our table that we all didn’t absolutely love. Portion size was quite large, so go hungry.

Top notch locals steakhouse & cocktail bar

By orange-u-tall |

Cleaver is markedly better than many properties on the Las Vegas Strip. Strip properties often do not seem to care about the tourist experience enough, and the staff often exudes a sense of entitlement because they bring you food & drinks and make gratuities. The Cleaver crew is friendly to a fault, and the management really seems to care about your visit. Of course, there is little to fret about. The food is always delicious, and the cocktails are always expertly crafted. My favorite libation is the cock & bull cocktail. But the menu displays renowned reverence for the cocktail history. It does so by grouping cocktails into historical time periods. Simply put, Cleaver is excellent in every sense of the word.

Best Creme Brulee Ever!

By CSCTravelAgentKim |

It has been over 10 years that I have been able to find a creme brulee that I would call #1. This record has been held by the Grandview Resort in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada for a pumpkin creme brulee. Now the Cleaver creme brulee is the creamiest and most delicious I have ever tasted. I don't know how you get it that smooth? The service was lovely. We shared the rib eye steak, and whatever seasoning they use is the most scrumptious I have ever tasted! We have become fan favourites!

Beware the oysters!

By Kevin W |

Went here with work friends to get off the strip for dinner. The experience and quality of service were great but do NOT get the oysters. I was up sick barfing all night and it took me three days to recover. Another guy with us also got sick after eating the same oysters. Maybe we just reacted poorly to them but there were probably not good. The ytasted great but they obviosuly were not safe to consume. NEVER again do I want to feel like that. Will be hard to ever return here with that memory.

Incredible all round experience short $8 Lyft off the strip

By Lollybrad |

From service, food quality, value , ambiance and everything in between this was a great experience. Wife had fillet, I had rib steak, we shared a lobster tail and the mushroom risotto. Finished off either sticky toffee pudding. All of it was a 10/10. Steaks and lobster were cooked a perfect. The Risotto was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before and the dessert was to die for. Also got great help in selecting a wine from a very kind gentleman who was working towards becoming a sommelier. We will be back and encourage others to go as well.

Birthday meal

By Jeff S |

We were recently in Las Vegas for my birthday and visited cleaver for a celebration meal We were booked in for 19.00 and were promptly seen to with a very warm welcome Our waitress Ashley explained there was a happy hour on and told us which items on the menu were half price Both food and drinks We were a group of 6 and plumped for the 120oz ribeye steak with various sides which I thought were a reasonable price All I can say about the food is AMAZING Ashley and Izzy were great servers Very polite and answered our questions The drinks we ordered were Lovely too I was on rum and coke All in all thanks cleaver for a great birthday meal

Great find!

By Garry Z |

Had dinner here after my son's wedding for our family. The service was impeccable, and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the octopus appetizer, their sour dough bread was really good, and they have a nice wine list. A few of our party had different types of steak, each was cooked the way requested and everyone enjoyed. Salads are nice size, and my son said that the bone marrow appetizer was amazing.

Isn't it a little soon to get so cocky?

By Claudia Kuzniak |

I tried Cleaver for the first time during its famous Happy Hour. Keep in mind that everything is a la carte and that the fillet is $56, so it's not exactly a screaming deal. Even so, I found the bartenders and staff pretentious. Not once did anyone check to see if my food was acceptable. Happy to say that it was and I certainly would've sought them out if it wasn't, but it seemed as if they were sitting on their laurels by not even checking. Vegas is a finicky market and great spots open and close on the regular. It would do Cleaver well to serve up some humble pie to its staff if they're in it for the long haul.

Great food, fantastic prices off the strip

By jsandoval562 |

We came here for a quiet dinner away from the strip. We had originally planned to visit Herbs and Rye but we came here after a recommendation from a local. This is a sister establishment to Herbs and Rye. We received attentive service from Julio and Luis. We ordered a wedge salad with a blue chesse dressing, oysters, mussels, a 16 ounce rib eye steak and Mexican street corn. We split everything but it was still a lot of food. The restaurant has a very nice old school vibe with dark wood paneling. No television in the bar area which appears to have a calming effect. We will definitely return!

A strip mall steakhouse?

By Lora F |

You'd never guess what awaits you once you traverse the non-descript parking lot and enter the doors. Dark wood paneling, contrasting white floors, chandeliers and ... wait. Is that? ... is that Eddie Murphy wearing a fur-trimmed general's uniform? It's not inexpensive, but you'll be treated like a throwback VIP from the hostess' station and beyond at Cleaver. The service team delivers impeccably, and the food? Oh my stars. The only drawback was a jumbly menu, a little hard to navigate, but ask your server to interpret. My filet Oscar style was perfectly prepared. The sweet corn on the side magnificent; the mac & cheese tangy and creamy, but not necessarily on par with the other dishes. My companion enjoyed every bite of the surf and turf, and our two cocktails were served with dignity and fine taste. Maybe I shouldn't post this, keep this place a hidden gem so we can get in whenever we want! [The website allowed us to make a reservation, but we were one of only five tables to really no reservation was necessary.] It's a little off the strip but absolutely worth finding. Then go find the wonderful Chris Farley mural and drink it in.

Outstanding Cocktails and Food ....

I heard about this place from a friend ... and it's now my new favoriate cocktail and steak joint in Vegas. Start to finish this place is top notch. Get off the strip and check this place out when you're in town!

Quality steakhouse with a personality

By AcdntlPoet |

Cleaver brings the best of high-level service with a personality and laid back attitude that enhances the experience. We had a party of 6 and all of us found the food to be of exceptional quality on par with the best restaurants in the US. Pair that with an excellent bartended mixing very well balanced cocktails and a wait staff that exhibits training of the highest caliber with the ability to be unique and exhibit their own individual personalities, our entire party had an amazing experience. HIGHLY recommended for a wonderful meal and amazing happy hour pricing. You can't go wrong here!

If you want a good steak Del Frisco is across the street!!

By Hen33050 |

We were taken here by a family member and shocked to see we were headed into a strip shopping center. However, once the door opens it is a nice surprise with great ambiance. That was the best part from there it was down hill. A bartender who shakes a martini so long and hard what you end up with is water!! The grade of meat is choice not prime and even at half off for happy hour it is OVER PRICED!! My daughter’s friend’s ribeye was extremely thin and basically looked like a shoe bottom. My filet had to be sawed to cut it. Not good flavor. I honestly can not recommend this place too eat!! Horrible steaks!!

Really nice dinner!

By Benjamin H |

So very good. Adrian was a great bartender/server and full of recommendations and good conversation. I made a reservation and opted for the bar. There were a full people waiting just before 5:00p but there were plenty of seats to start (this was a Tuesday in April keep in mind). I imagine as the week goes on and in peak season it's busier. I ordered an Old Cuban to drink and followed it with a glass of red wine. Taking some recommendations, I got a salad and finished up with the pork chop and loaded baked potato. This is more than enough for one person. The chopped salad was pretty solid and I enjoyed it. However, the true highlight was the main course and side. It was cooked to perfection (a bit on the saltier/seasoned side) and the potato was huge, delicious and definitely loaded up properly. The bacon was thick cut into little pieces on the potato. Service was prompt and courteous. This place might be a little understated right now compared to a few others but if you want a darn good steak dinner off the strip with a reasonable price and good atmosphere give this place a serious run!

Great off strip steak house

By Lloyd M |

An excellent steakhouse, especially if you want to get off the strip. I really enjoyed the wedge to start, great dressing, ample bacon. My sirloin was good (not incredible) but the black garlic butter was incredible and highly recommended. Also enjoyed the cauliflower gratin. I found the sommelier perfect for the restaurant, not old school and stuffy, a real person you could talk to.

Awesome Food

By Thomas M |

This is a great place to get off the strip to enjoy some excellent food… have been there twice and will make it a must each time we visit

Great Food - Off Strip

By Bennie P |

This is one of the best steak houses in Las Vegas — great food from the appetizers to the main course and with a full bar. The service is top-notch as well. The family and I eat here monthly.

Great happy hour specials!

By localgirl77 |

Can't beat the price. There are a number of items on their menu that are available for half price during happy hour 5p to ? Had the rib eye which is large enough to serve 2. Everything else is ala carte. The service was just okay. Never refilled water unless asked. Messed up our to go bags. Good for if you like a good quality bargain steak. They are also good at getting your steak cooked exactly like you tell them.

Phenomenal

By addison09 |

I don’t get out Vegas often. Dined here years ago and was impressed. The atmosphere and the service make this a premier stop for steak, cocktails and wine. Food is amazing as is the service. The happy hour prices are unmatched. Love this place and will return.

Best Service by All Staff

By MexiCaliRenee |

This is a must when you visit Vegas. Located minutes away from all that Vegas has to offer is a plus. The best part about this fine dining restaurant is the food of course but I must mention the staff. Every server we have had(this is out 2nd visit in 2 months) are all phenomenal. The knowledge of the menu attentive to details are all on point.Everything on the menu is mouth watering ( I think I made several yummy sounds.. ) One of THE BEST dining experiences I have ever had.The daily happy hour service and half off of selected meats is an eye catcher for sure. The bill can be pricey but with these added attractions it’s SO worth it. Don’t you dare leave without trying the crime brûlée... se magnifique J Renee

Best Steak in Vegas

Love this place. Food was outstanding and the half price steaks at both happy hours are a real plus. Everything was great!!

Happy Hour / Early Dinner

By Earl W |

The food was excellent. I had a filet and it was perfect. Delicious. The cocktails were also excellent. The staff could not have been better. Even at happy hour you pay for excellent experiences like this. In my opinion it was worth it for the the entire experience. You won’t be disappointed.

Good Food

By Str8frwd |

Twelve of us came here on a Sunday night with reservations at 9pm. Their sister restaurant is Herbs and Rye, which I visited in the past. They have the majority of their steaks 1/2 off all day along with some appetizers, which is a good marketing strategy. Their steaks are good, their side dishes were decent and their cocktail lists is extensive. Its a good option for an off the strip restaurant with decent prices. Bill will drinks came to 1500. Would return.

Great eats

Delicious.. maple mustard wings and the salad wedge was awesome. Don’t get me started on the steaks! Great atmosphere and relatively good wine. We had the hitching post Pinot. I recommend it.

60th Birthday Celebration!!!

By Storyteller614034 |

I local told me about Cleaver's when we were in town earlier this year. The food, ambience and service were great. We came back with 8 family and friends to celebrate my wife 60th birthday. Everyone raved about the food, drinks, ambience, and service. It was certainly one of the highlights of the trip. Well done!!!

Everything was delicious. Great ambience and amazing staff. Steak was perfect. We were celebrating my husband’s bday and ordered dessert and both were soooo good!!

Great Food and Service

By sportsmomcubed |

We heard about Cleavers from friends and knew it hadn’t been open more than 3-4 months so we were able to get a ”same day”reservation. That’s probably not going to very easy in the future. It’s a combination of really good food, attentive service and reasonably priced. The key to reasonably priced is that from 5-8 pm and 12 midnight to 3 am they offer a half price happy hour on steaks! It covers several steak entree options and a few other items that we didn’t order. We shared an enormous wedge salad that was fresh and crisp. We each ordered a steak but next time, we’d probably share one. Had an a la carte side of Brussels sprouts that was really, really good! A couple of glasses of the house wine -which was an Estancia label rounded out our meal. We thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the food and the pace of the service. We were there at 5 when they opened in order to get to a show. It was filling up quickly by the time we left. We asked the hostess to call a cab for us and the cab no-showed. When my husband went back into the restaurant to request another cab a gentleman overheard him and took care of it. The gentleman named Nick turned out to be an owner (or the owner). Nick called Uber for us and charged it to his account. That’s indicative of the level of service we had at Cleaver’s.

Not what we hoped!

By travelalotml |

Went to Cleaver on a family members recommendation. A huge disappointment. First off, the quality of the meat was inferior. We all ordered the New York steak. It didn't even look like a New York. Fatty, grissley, tough and tasteless. We ordered bread for $7 and it came with one small butter, not enough for the loaf. We asked for another butter and when the bill arrived they had charged us an additional $3 for the butter and somehow another $7 for a second loaf of bread that we hadn't ordered. We ordered the $15 loaded baked potato and were asked if we wanted sour cream, we said sure. When the bill arrived they had added $2 for the sour cream. Our waiter had a very weird vibe and made us uncomfortable. Oh, they took the charges for the extra butter , the sour cream and the unordered bread off the bill after talking to the manager, but we still felt nickled and dimed. too many better options within blocks. We will not go back..

We Got Hacked!

By NikkoHenderson_NV |

The atmosphere at this restaurant is the retro speak easy style but that is where the interest stops. The seating arrangement in the main front dining room is such that anytime a guest arrives through the front door, a draft blows through the center of the dining room. Very distracting and uncomfortable especially when it is cold outside. It seems like they are trying to be like another restaurant in an adjacent part of town but they don’t do as nice of a job. They have a nice craft cocktail list with many periodical drinks, however, the ones that we tried were not very good. The food was very average and not worth the premium in price. My steak was cooked well but the quality of the steak reminded me of one from Costco—not that there is anything wrong with that but if that’s what I want, I can do it myself. We did not even stay for dessert as we sensed that we were just not getting exceptional food. Thanks, but I’ll pass.

Great Place!!!!!

By Passenger717625 |

This place has been on my list for a few months. Finally had the opportunity to try it out. I really dig the atmosphere in Clever's. It's dark and the decor is amazing. In the room I was seated in had a painting of the Rock and John Cena in Napoleon like dress. I saw similar paintings of Mr T and Eddie Murphy by the entrance. The have an early and a late happy hour where certain drinks and menu items are half price. The service was spot on as with most steak houses in Vegas. The food did not disappoint. They have a large selection of steaks and seafood. I really enjoyed the squid ink pasta. Truly the highlight of the night for me. The steak was also delicious. I would eat there again.

Fun place with great food.

By anotherhokie |

Food was excellent. Service was better. Ashley was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. She was also fun to interact with. Squid ink past dish was an excellent side. Have already recommended it and will continue!

Good Cocktails at the Bar

By CharlieinTexas |

Stopped in after seeing U2 at Sphere. Just had a few cocktails. Nice atmosphere and friendly bartender. Good Old Fashioned and my wife enjoyed her Mint Julep so much, she ordered a 2nd one. A bit pricey, but on par with Vegas prices.

Excellent Steak house in Vegas!!!!

Yeah, this place is the real deal. Excellent food!! Cant wait to go back when I visit Vegas again!!!!

Awesome Steak and Atmosphere

By mafa02 |

Don't let the outside fool you! Walking up to a pretty basic, somewhat rundown, strip-mall had us a little concerned at first. It's doesn't have the glitz and glam of the places on the strip. But once we got inside, the atmosphere and mood of the place was very cool. It was a guys trip, and this place was perfectly what we were looking for. Steaks were all very very good, and with the steak happy-hour, the prices were very reasonable. Lots of unique cocktails as well. We'd go back again for sure!

Fabulous!

By addison09 |

Was fortunate to hear of this place from our bartender. We made a reservation for 5pm as we heard of the great 50% off steaks during happy hour (5-8). The inside is dark, think speakeasy, and the numerous celebrity pairings that cover the walls in Napoleon-like uniforms are cool. Service was awesome and the food was fantastic. Extensive wine and bourbon lists as well as prohibition era cocktails make this a must visit while in LV.

Best sit-down meal I've had in a long time

By Cody J |

The atmosphere of the place is interesting. The first thing you notice is how dark it is. Lighting is intimate, just enough for you to see your meal and friends and, once your eyes adjust, you can see the dark paneling and other parts of the place. But the focus is really on you and your table, rather than showcasing the interior of the restaurant. Next, you'll see that there are portraits on the walls. However, while they are in the traditional style, you'll notice that the people portrayed are not who you think. In other words, see how many celebrities you can identify. The service was outstanding. We were first visited by the asst. waiter, who brought bread and ensured we were always good during the meal. The main waiter was good, with excellent recommendations and, in conjunction w/ the asst. waiter, ensured we were never waiting long for refills or anything. The food was excellent. We arrived during happy hour, so most of the meals were half-price. The filet mignon was superb, cooked to perfection and tasty enough that no other spices or sauces were required. Side dishes were family sized, served in separate dishes so you could share. If you like mocktails, and lime juice, the Mexican Gatorade is highly recommended. Overall, this is my favorite steak restaurant in Las Vegas. A definite stop the next time I visit.

Nope

By noagent |

Recommended by hotel concierge. Steak itself was cooked perfectly. Everything else about this experience was a disappointment. The wines by the glass are stupid, no other way to say it. The bottle list was fine . The decor was Applebee's with a slight upgrade on wall art. No tableclothes. Salad tomatoes were cold, ie prepped in advance to sit in a cooler. Not appropriate for what should be a made to order dish. At $70 streak, I expect at least a tablecloth. Save the Uber fare and go wherever is closer, this isn't worth the effort.

Very nice dinner experience off the strip

By Brandon K |

Our friends had been here before and so we went as two couples. The rooms have a great ambience of being "fancy" but making fun of themselves for being so. Namely, each of the rooms we went into had admiralty style portraits in them, but they were all of stand up comedians. Seeing Dave Chappelle that way took a second to register. We had great cocktails split up by eras and I really enjoyed my squid ink pasta. My wife had shrimp scampi and was very happy. Our friends really enjoyed their wedge salad. Reasonably priced, which is one of the benefits for going off the strip. Our server had a great attitude. Would happily go back again.

A unique and outstanding steakhouse

By FK |

It was our second visit at Cleaver and everything was perfect again. A sophisticated cocktail menu, steaks send from heaven and very attentive service. Even usually boring side dishes like mushrooms taste so good. Highly recommended!

Great Menu, Fantastic Meat, Amazing Staff

By Kelly Marie N |

Cleaver is one of those places you have to go to whether your a local or a tourist. The menu is amazing, with plenty of meat! It's owned by the same person who owns Herbs & Rye, so if you've been there, you know you're in for something great. There are other dishes, and seafood aplenty. And fairly priced sides make it easy to create your own meal. The staff was super! It was a tad chilly, and the air was immediately cut. Everyone knew the menu inside and out and the bar staff and servers were all bright and funny.

A jewel in the heart of Vegas

By Peaceofspace |

Everything from booking the reservation to finishing our delicious and amazing meal was seamless and wonderful. The staff was exemplary in their professionalism, kindness and accommodating manner. This is a must go to when you want a fantastic meal just off the strip. The cocktails were outstanding, the wine list extensive and the food absolutely delicious! This was recommended to me by the Food & Beverage manager at Westgate Resorts in Vegas and I am so grateful for that. We will definitely be back on our next visit! Don’t miss this gem.

Hidden Gem

By Layla E |

We had a fantastic dinner here, what a gem!!! We loved the entire vibe of the restaurant. The food and drinks are as outstanding as the atmosphere!! We had the most fantastic cocktails!! I fell in love with the Champaign Julep and my husband loved the Fancy Free. Dinner was outstanding. My husband started his meal with the grilled oysters and then had the Clams Casino he absolutely loved every bite. I started with the Shrimp Cocktail and opted for another appetizer as my entree . The bourbon mustard wings are fantastic!! There’s is not a reason to dunk them in anything. We ended the meal with the coconut pana cotta. We throughly enjoyed our time at Cleavers

Old school Vegas Steakhouse

By docsurf |

Cleaver occupies the old Ruth’s Chris steakhouse on Paradise. The location is the not the only thing they shared in common. Cleaver, like Ruth’s, is a classic styled “Old Vegas” steakhouse, dark interior, intimate booths and an exceptional bar. The staff was excellent….a friendly greeting and getting us quickly seated. Antonio and Juan were our servers for the evening. They were spot on throughout the meal. Ahh the meal…we started with Steak Tartare, Fried Calamari and fresh bread. The calamari was perfectly fried with a minimal amount of a remoulade style sauce. The steak tartare was served on a large slice of toasted bread. It was a large serving topped with finely shredded parmesan cheese. Delicious. My only recommendation would be that they pre-cut the toast as we had to tear it apart. Regardless it was delicious. My wife ordered a NY strip steak cooked medium with a mushroom topping and truffle butter. It too was delish! I opted for an order of gnocchi. Wonderful puffs of (I believe) potato gnocchi bathed in a marinara sauce studded with crisp slices of parmesan chips. It was fantastic. As it was our anniversary they finished us off with a trio of small donut like beignets lightly dusted with sugar and your choice of a chocolate or caramel sauce. Of course we enjoyed both. This is worth the visit for a special occasion or to impress visiting business partners.

Great vibe and Great steaks

By Shaun T |

Had a stunning meal here. The service was slow to begin with but picked up nicely. This place has a great vibe and even better steaks. Must try.

Great all around

By TMTK |

The service was excellent and paced as we requested. We enjoyed everything we ordered- Chopped Salad, Spicy Mussels, NY Strip, Flat Iron and Mushroom Risotto. We would go back for any one of those dishes! Steaks were the perfect temperature with the perfect sear and a good variety of butters. The chopped salad was so light, flavorful and well balanced- I will crave this often! The mushroom risotto was so creamy and packed with umami. My husband and I ate everything bit of our dinner.

A great time.

By Donald R |

Amazing food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you want to eat at a good steakhouse without the strip prices, give this place a try. You can't go wrong.

Top steak all round

By Luke J |

Had the fillet steak with black garlic butter fries and pork belly mac and cheese and everything I had was amazing! Including the red wine. Definately recommended!

Great steaks!

By JeffandDiane89 |

The steaks and happy hour do not disappoint, a great big brother to their sister restaurant Herbs and Rye.

This is a well hidden gem!

By Gregory J |

We heard about his restaurant from our friends. They had initially asked a taxi driver about a place that was not on the strip which served a good steak. The rest is history. Absolutely one of the “Best”decisions we made while vacationing in Las Vegas. If you haven’t been there before then I highly recommend you to go. I assure you you will not be disappointed. Ask for Trish the bar tender and tell her Greg from St. Louis recommended you coming there. The music is tasteful and oh this place is definitely somewhat upscale too. Do not let the parking lot area throw you off. You have to traverse through a small corridor but it’s a very short walk.

Cocktails to remember!

By YolyPalomo |

Fabulous cocktails, good food & great service! We had a wonderful evening at Cleaver celebrating my husband’s birthday and we will definitely be back soon! The clams & chorizo was fabulous and don’t get me started on cocktails! The Porn Star with passion fruit was my favorite. Off the strip, this restaurant is a gem!

A happy hour bargain not far from The Strip.

By Michael U |

Opened in September 2018 by Nectaly Mendoza, the owner of Herbs & Rye expanding east of Las Vegas Boulevard to an area frequented by tourists but at the same time appealing to locals, it was for a party of six that reservations were booked at Cleaver - Butchered Meats, Seafood & Cocktails, inquires via website regarding a private room completely ignored which thereby decreased the group’s size and budget. Tucked into Suite D1 of 3900 Paradise Road, a shopping plaza also housing Tacos & Beer plus Jersey Mike’s, it is after eyes adjust to low-lighting that guests will find themselves in front of an attended hostess stand, the bar stretching left fully stocked by patrons and Booze while dining rooms expand right and back, eventually forming a loop around the PDR and Restrooms. Decorated in regal images of pop-culture icons, everyone from Bill Murray and Eddie Murphy to Queen Latifah and Chris Farley spread across a space featuring severe wallpaper and wood, it is across four pages that Food and Beverage are presented, the “Porn Star” pushed heavily by staff while Cleaver’s Beer List offers foreign and domestic favorites at prices far less egregious than The Strip. Offering no televisions but instead music at moderate volume, enough to drown the sounds of others but not inhibit conversation, it is porting over Herbs & Rye’s popular Happy Hour that many deals can be found, the lack of an online menu somewhat frustrating but *starred* Appetizers and Steaks with an italicized “C” half-off from 5:00pm-8:00pm and midnight to 3:00am daily. Dining with a group less-experienced than usual, four having never seen Bone Marrow on a menu nor tasted Liver, it was with house-baked Bread that dinner got started, the hearty crust and soft crumb good with or without Butter and particularly well adapted for sopping up Sauces including Egg Yolk studded with Roe from half-priced Squid Ink Pasta or Pomodoro that picks up flavor from Short Rib served atop Gnocchi that was unfortunately a bit gummy. Impressed by the $15 Double Wedge, both portion-size and Produce exceeding expectations while thick pieces of Bacon and finely-chopped Egg each accentuate Blue Cheese Dressing, it was next that the aforementioned Marrow and Foie Gras that made their way around, a lack of appropriately sized spoon making the former difficult to liberate from its vessel and natural flavor mostly muted by Fruit while $28 Duck Liver fortunately performed better and made new fans thanks to a good sear that placed caramelized exterior in contrast with fluffy Pancakes plus Blackberries and Crème Fraiche on the plate. Refusing a tablemate’s request for Steak to be cooked “Medium-well or Well,” even the menu joking that the latter temperature is “Burnt and Pointless,” it was instead erring closer to Medium-Rare that the server volunteered to further cook parts for those in need, the Beef itself well-seasoned and a steal at $105 for 60oz during Happy Hour while sides ranged from Creamed Corn spun Mexican to fairly standard Brussels Sprouts and big slices of Pork Belly atop gooey Macaroni and Cheese. Falling short with Mushroom Risotto and Bourbon Shallot Potatoes, the Rice undercooked and in need of Salt while Potatoes were clumpy and coagulated as if made hours earlier and re-warmed for service, it was instead Steak Fries that stole the spotlight, each one light and crisp whether plain or dipped in housemade Béarnaise that was ordered for the Steak but found less compelling for that purpose than unctuous Foie Gras Butter. Offering just three Desserts, Crème Brulee omitted in favor of Doughnuts and Cheesecake recited tableside, those who fancy fried Dough will be happy to know Cleaver serves both rounds and holes piping hot beneath a duo of Sauces while the New York-style wedge features plenty of creaminess without being too heavy atop a Graham Cracker Crust. THREE STARS: One part built on Nectaly Mendoza's rightfully renowned Cocktails but also upping the ante in terms of decor, Cleaver - Butchered Meats, Seafood & Cocktails brings Herbs & Rye's popular Happy Hour East of Las Vegas Boulevard and although ingredient quality and cookery are sometimes not ideal the overall experience is better than the average off-Strip Steakhouse.

Great Meal

By KDJERO |

We enjoyed everything we ordered. The calamari was amazing, as was the pork chop. Nice atmosphere as well.

The sea bass and risotto may be one of the best meals I've ever had

By Kris B |

Great service and cocktails, I had the surf and turf and my wife has the sea bass. The filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the lobster was great, but my wife let me have about 1/3 of her meal and it was amazing, creamy tasty risotto with a multitude of different mushrooms and a delicious sea bass, 10/10 would recommend to everyone i know

Needs hdlp

By DaisyDot24 |

There is a serious lack of management here. We were seated over 30 minutes past our reservation time, the server was no where to be found after we ordered. People around us were getting up and ordering things at the bar since we couldn’t get any service. While we waited we had a drink at the bar and the bar back offered us water and was trying to help out on a busy night. The bartender starts scolding him in front of everyone, she told him not to look any customers in the eye or offer them anything. It seemed like a very odd demand on such a busy night. I have been here three nights and two of them have had real service issues. The food is consistently good, but not worth putting up with the terrible service.

Off strip goodness and awsome bar

By IrishRover |

Go during happy hour for half price steaks. The flat break appetizer and chicken wings are excellent. Pork belly mac and cheese side is fantastic and the steaks are great Awsome value. Try it

Outstanding steakhouse off the strip

By Stallone1 |

This was the first time there for all four of us and each of us really enjoyed our meals. Typical great atmosphere as you would expect in a steakhouse and nice booths for four. Our servers Michelle and Benny were excellent and made sure we enjoyed all of our food and drinks. Prices were great since we went there early and benefited from the happy hour pricing.

Excellent

By David |

Went here when I was last in Vegas late last year. Heard about this place whilst dining at Herbs and Rye which is run by the same owner. Quality is fantastic. Went at around midnight and they had happy hour going. Fantastic prices, fantastic drinks, great decor. Will be back in October.

Incredible

By Ntbd4agrl |

Food, service and atmosphere was amazing. The server did a great job getting the order and then serving it to the right guest delivery was flawless. We had a party of 6, cocktails before dinner and had wine with dinner dined on great appetizers and the steaks and chops were spectacular...

The Perfect Speakeasy

By MichaelandMaria |

Good news fans of Herbs & Rye, the owners have opened a new place! Like its older sister Cleaver has a giant page of specialty cocktails, organized by eras. Between us we’ve tried over a dozen and still haven’t had a bad one. This is a great spot if you’re only having a cocktail but the steaks and seafood are also terrific. Portions are large so we recommend sharing. Happy hour is 5-8 and again from midnight to close and includes 1/2 price on some menu items. Both restaurants have our highest recommendation but don’t take our word for it. Cleaver and H&T are also favorites of Vegas chefs and bartenders when they get off work.

An average experience

By GdC |

It was a double birthday celebration as mentioned in reservation,NO EFFORT made by CLEAVER . My third visit in two months -I didn’t complain the first time and wrote in the second time and nothing as changed . They have a working model of sitting people and tell them they have two hours to have dinner-I didn’t know I had booked a fast food restaurant!!😂 Server was pleasant enough albeit intent on rushing to get orders in We had two PornStar cocktails which were passion fruity and good We ordered 3 appetizers-Calamari which was basically fair,Octopus which was good and the Wedge Salad which was dry .We also ordered bread which they lowered themselves and had the cheek to charge $7.00 for -and it was DRY !-and the bread only came after we had to ask twice . Twice during our appetizers server came to get entree order and after my last experience there where they brought it out half way through the appetizer I told my guests to only order entree after done eating appetizers . Entrees one Fillet -Rare -cooked correctly and good ,2 portions lamb chops which were just okay (wouldn’t have them there again)For sides we had mushrooms and their chunky potato-both good . For dessert we ordered the Passion Fruit Tart and the Cheesecake We all thought the PassionFruit Tart was subtle and excellent-Cheescake not so much! Their style and gimmick of half price is what it is Smaller portions (but enough food)and not really half price at all. Our bill was $301.00 and I reluctantly left an 15% gratuity albeit not deserved as server was insincere and fake . Their marketing at both Cleaver and Herbs and Rye has really worked and a gullible public has fallen for it hook line and sinker . I cannot support or share positive feedback to anyone when we have a plethora of excellent steakhouses and restaurants in Las Vegas on and off the Strip to enjoy Good luck to them ! Gregory d Chait

I really wanted to like it.

By Litig8or2014 |

Cleaver was recommended by a local restaurateur. Drinks were good as was salad and mussels. The steak was limp. It lacked any sort of crust. The ribeye had too much connective tissue and was too thin. At $64 the steak should have been 1.5 to 2 inches thick. Cleaver would never survive in NYC. The music was great.

Prime steak at half-price

By bartvandormael |

I don't know any other place where you can have prime steak (not al steaks, but a pretty decent selection) at half-price during happy hour, which surely must account partly for the restaurant's success. I must admit I have had better steaks in Vegas, but you can't deny that happy-hour steak dinner at Cleaver's is a bargain.

Charming dinner at Cleaver, an off the strip restaurant in Las Vegas

By Anthony S |

We had a lovely dinner at Cleaver. The food was delicious. The menu is varied but oriented towards steak. The prices are high but about 10% less than steak houses on the Strip like SW Steakhouse or STK. The wait staff was efficient. The clientele is not attractive which is common for off the strip restaurants. The location is in a strip mall near the corner of Flamingo and Paradise, across from Del Friscos.

A definite visit

By MammaDel |

All of us had delicious food. Filet mignon medium was perfectly done. Seabass with mushroom risotto was exceptional! So tender & flavorful. Staff was very attentive & informed & also friendly.

Always great!

By Mel |

Food is always great and the service was great. Appetizers, steaks, sides and cocktails were all very good! Chopped salad is excellent!

Just a local SJ guy

By Glenn T |

My first time here. Fantastic!! Outstanding ambience and service. Clean, spacious, and awsome bar.. I loved everything about this restaurant. Happy hours 5:00 - 8:00 pm and Midnight to 3:00 am. 1/2 off all steaks and a few appetizers. What a bargin!! Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and well flavored and very tender. I highly recommend.

Fantastic, classic steakhouse

By Mike M |

Wanted a great steak dinner our last night in Las Vegas and Cleaver's really delivered! There are plenty of great steaks to find in Las Vegas but Cleavers really married service, quality, value, dessert, and wine list into the perfect combo. Not sure I understand their "happy hour" food prices but at 7:00 PM on a Friday night that's what we got. All 4 of us were very happy with the sides and the main dishes. Steaks were fantastic. Although various "butters" and rubs are available most of us found they weren't needed. These aren't bland steaks expecting the dinner to add the flavor; they're well seasoned steaks. The wine list could use a few more choices under $150 just to give some variety but they didn't upcharge wine nearly as much as many steakhouses (even chains). I would come back here every Vegas trip.

This place rocks.......

By Kenneth Q |

It's not that easy to see or find tucked back into a hallway but signage is good. This is old school Hollywood steakhouse place you need to try. Happy hour has some of the steaks half price making it reasonable and they are all good. Our friends each had the pork chop looked great and we shared the squid ink pasta dish with a classic ceasar salad they were remarkable. Remarkable as well was our OJ Simpson sighting upon leaving sitting at the bar.....we thought it ironic we'd see him at "Cleaver"......go figure.

Where is the quality meat?

By mdfam1 |

For a meat restraunt, the 16 oz ribeye shouldn't have had grizzle running through 2/3 of it. Waitress said she would tell the chef, but I'm not sure I can recommend their meat at this price. $130 meal should be flawless. Drinks were good. No apology from the manager or future credit. Poor business practices.

Cool place, awesome sides

By pineypaydirt |

We were looking for a good steakhouse to try in Las Vegas and seen a review on YouTube for this place. They offer Happy Hour on most of their steaks and that helps out on the final bill. They steaks lacked flavor in our opinion. The sides were awesome and big enough to share. Our server, Benny, was a great host. He and his helper Kenny took good care of us. I recommend trying some of the add on seasoning or butters to help with the steaks.

Amazing Steaks

By Bhobbybhoy12 |

After studying loads of Steakhouses in Vegas over many months prior to our visit from our home in Scotland(we have some of the best beef in the world) i eventually came to the conclusion that Cleaver ticked all the boxes to compare the beef on this side of the pond with ours especially with it’s amazing 50% off between 5pm - 8pm . As other reviewers have said it’s situated in a bog standard smallish shopping complex but any uncertainties of the location where pushed to the side as we entered the restaurant . Inside the lighting was dimmed the colours inside toned down giving it a cosy , warm homely feel . The staff where wonderful always there to assist you but not in your face . We both ordered the Shrimp Cocktail and the New York Strip Steak . The Shrimps where massive , plump & juicy and the sauce had a lovely kick to it bringing a nice balance to the dish both plates where cleared but the highlight of the night where the steaks both cooked medium rare they where absolutely outstanding and would give some of the best steakhouse’s in Scotland a run for their money . The steaks appeared to have been finished with a wonderful glaze which made the outside very crisp and when you burst through the outside into the red centre the smell & taste was amazing with all the juices oozing out it was cooked perfectly . The steaks where top notch , the restaurant was 1st class and the service was 2nd to none and all in all it was a great experience and the best meal we had in Vegas during our week long holiday , i can’t rate this restaurant high enough and i urge everyone to give it a go. Thank you once again Cleaver you can all be proud of your wonderful restaurant 10/10

Great cocktails, food is fair

By yellowslugbug |

Phenomenally interesting cocktail menu of "cocktails through the ages." Ordered filet med rare (was medium, lukewarm with lukewarm peppercorn brandy sauce mininal flavor) loaded baked potato (odd 'roux-based' cheese sauce), wedge salad (good), bread (unsalted butter), shrimp cocktail (good), bourbon potatos were very good. Not overly impressed.

disappointed

heard about this place, had couple of friend coming into town decided to take them to nice steak house, once you walk in the interior and ambience is great, but that’s it the food and service isn’t great i wish the atmosphere makes up for it but it doesn’t

Mediocre across the board

By BanzaiMakai |

We dined March 2022 . The strip mall where the restaurant is located is currently having a new facade put up so the place is pretty torn up on the outside. The interior of the restaurant is all "chopped up" and they placed our party in some sort of an old hall way near the toilets. It was an odd seating arrangement. The server was pleasant but difficult to hear and he did not walk us through the menu and basically just took our order. There was an issue with the wine service that they resolved. The food was mediocre. The meats were fine, but pretty generic.. nothing special.. and the sides were barely recognizable from their menu descriptions. I have dined at steakhouses all over the world and chose Cleaver because I felt it would be good to sample an old school Vegas spot off the strip, but in hindsight it would have been better to hit one of the many more well known choices at one of the resorts. Honestly this place was just 1 step above a Longhorns or Outback and was very expensive. Pass.

a great find

our friends took us to this gem of a restaurant on paradise just off the strip the decor, the ambience of the restaurant, the art on the wall etc and not to mention the food was awesome

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The atmosphere was intense: dark, smoky, salon effect with excellent service. The staff really lock in and stay attentive through out. Our host offered helpful recommendations and was available throughout but not intrusive. The food was excellent, I was so stuffed! The steak was excellent. Drinks were delicious. Really loved dinner here.

Consistently Outstanding

Outstanding in all aspects! Often to fly out of LAS and to spend the night prior to our o'dark thirty flight at a hotel. Cleaver is our "go to" restaurant since discovering six months ago. The Cleaver's cuisine excellence is only surpassed by Team Cleaver's bartending excellence. Highly recommend!

Great service, good food, average atmosphere

By Dave S |

My wife recently took me to Cleaver for a late Father's Day dinner. Initially we were seated in a bright open room with no other diners, but we asked to be moved to a booth in the bar area which was a far better atmosphere (darker, other patrons, booth vs. table). Service was top notch! Never had to wait for water re-fill, cocktails, ordering, etc. We ordered some apps, the grilled octopus (excellent) and wedge salad (average). My wife has the pork chop with maple bacon butter and I had the filet medium rare, both were fantastic. The sides were not great. Asparagus with fried egg covered in parmesan that hardens to an inedible mess. Also, the cauliflower au-graten uses some kind of terrible tasting cheese sauce. I'm sure some of their other sides are much better. Really, the sides were the only complaint. Overall, the quality of the food, the service, and prices were not bad at all. Looking forward to trying Herbs and Rye next time for the atmosphere.

Remembering you new favorite restuarant? This is the spot

By MelissaJonesVegas |

We had an absolutely perfect time here, Mike immaculately served us at the bar when a walk-in table had a 30 minute wait. I could have stopped at the half dozen oysters on the half shell or carpaccio, but when the bread came, I couldn't resist the salted butter (tip - they have a butter menu! indulge, it is fantastic!). My husband and I shared a steak, because at this point we were borderline full, but still somehow made room for the sauted spinach. Mike, our bartender, suprised us with a circle of hot donuts, and the food delivery and service was impeccable. He is a pro, as was the food runner. Absolutely one of my new, favorite delights.

Outstanding Food and Drinks in a Whimsical Atmosphere

By dknight818 |

"So wait, that sounds like a really positive headline, why only 4 blobs?" Because, if I'm being completely fair, Cleaver is totally a 4-blob kind of place for me. So here's the thing, I really enjoyed Herbs and Rye and when I found out that Cleaver was related, I was excited to dine here. I visited with a group of people during a business trip recently and, I have to say, I'm impressed. Cleaver is tucked in the corner of a strip mall but it's not hard to find thanks to the large, lighted "CLEAVER" above the entrance. As you walk in, it's pretty obvious that Cleaver is the irreverent sister to Herbs and Rye with wonderful pop-culture-and-classic-portrait-art mashups on the wall. Overall, the atmosphere is "classic, wood-paneled steakhouse," but the music is a bit too "club." The playlist was enjoyable, but it was definitely loud for my tastes and inhibited conversation. The service we received during our visit was great. My favorite part about Cleaver is that the drink menu is pretty darn impressive, I like a side of history with my cocktails. I enjoyed a spot-on Test Pilot and a very good Polynesian Pearl Diver. As far as food, I ordered a filet cooked "Pittsburgh" (char-grilled rare). My steak was flavorful and perfectly cooked. I also ordered the pork belly mac n' cheese as a side. First off, those side dish tureens really hold a lot of food, I could have gotten away with just ordering a side and it would have been sufficient. The pork belly was awesome, though. Tender, flavorful. The mac n' cheese, sadly, was unremarkable. It wasn't BAD, mind you, just...Not remarkable. I'm not going to hold that against Cleaver, though, since there are SO many more sides for me to try on my NEXT visit which will definitely be soon. If you're looking for a splurge night out with darn good food and drinks, give Cleaver a try.

1st visit

We had a great meal. We had KC Strip. One of the best steaks I've eaten. The half off at happy hour is great also. I'll go back on the next trip out here.

Poor service and cold food

By Todd H |

Ever go to a restaurant and 15 minutes in your instincts tell you to get up and leave? Well, I didn't listen to my instincts as I was with a party of 6 for work and I should have. Restaurant was busy, we had a reservation for 6pm. We were seated on time but that was about the end of the good. It took 20 minutes for server to take our drink order and another 20 minutes for them to arrive. After asking for bread it came out 20 minutes later. We ordered dinner after 45 minutes at the restaurant and the meals came out 45 minutes later. Of the six meals, three of them were cold. Not slightly less than hot, not warm, they were cold. They replaced the cold meals and the manager was apologetic and took those three off of the bill. Food (when hot) was ok, but service was just horrible in a town where there are so many choices of restaurants. I'd steer clear of Cleaver unless you want to continue gambling once you leave the casino and try your luck here that you have a good experience.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and he was right - excellent food and excellent service

By Rich D |

We came here recommended by a friend, and the experience from start to finish was excellent. Excellent server,(Ben), the food was amazing. The drinks were amazing. Certainly a bit pricey but well worth it. I had the fillet with steak fries. My wife had the Seabass with risotto and we shared it for an excellent surf and turf. Additionally, the Caesar salad appetizer was incredible. With 1 drink for each of us it was $187.

Good find

By KayakRunExplore80 |

Food and service were great! We were there during happy hour and got discounts, even on our steaks. I would recommend reservations.

Disappointingly expensive and average

By Fitz |

Cleaver was not good value for money and a disappointing dining experience. The bill for our party of 3 was $400-ish. The cocktails were interesting but the food and service were a tremendous letdown. B- quality food and a nearly 30 minute break in service between a short salad and appetizer course and the perfectly ok steaks and fish coming out, the meal we had at Cleaver should have been in the mid $200's not the low $400's. The restaurant offers a late night half off on most every cut of meat they offer and even with that discount the meal wasn't worth what we paid.

An unexpected journey

By Michael W R |

Stumbled upon this place to try a new cocktail. Ended up choosing the pornstar cocktail along side an order of Spanish charred octopus. Atmosphere was amazing and service was even better! Francisco was very attentive and knowledgeable in explaining the break down of everything. Totally not what I expected, but definitely safe to say I found my new go to spot!

Outstanding

By denverfamilytrav2018 |

Absolutely outstanding food and service. We made reservations and sat in a booth in the bar area. Nice ambiance and fun to watch the bartenders making cocktails. Not cheap, but worth every penny in my view. A nice selection of wines by the glass, and the cocktails are exceptional. Would definitely eat here again!

Excellent evening

By machtnichts |

Excellent service. Great food. New York Strip medium rare cooked to perfection with mushrooms and onions. Brussel sprouts were surprisingly good (normally not a big fan.) Mixed chopped salad with vinaigrette a nice starter.

Great food, great service

By erinp1982 |

Just recently visited Las Vegas with friends and we decided to venture off the strip for a night. So glad we did! The ambiance, cuisine and service were all outstanding. Dave was exceptional. His wine and food knowledge really made our night special. We had spicy mussels, filet mignon, mac and cheese and a great Tuscan wine that paired well with dinner. We will definitely be back next time we're in town!

9/10

By 26tj26 |

9/10 Delicious steak and pasta at a reasonable price, close to the strip. Hidden gem. Always happy hour for food. New York strip steak 9/10 Squid ink pasta 9/10 Brandy peppercorn sauce 5/10 Service 9/10 Location 7/10 Total $240 for four people. Very good value high quality food. Open late.

Excellent steak!

By beth g |

Uber driver told us about this place when we left the airport. We were tired of the ridiculous prices on the strip so thought we would try Cleaver. It did not disappoint. I had the filet and it was so tender I could cut it with a butter knife. Cocktail menu is fabulous with a ton of craft cocktails. Sides, service and dessert were also excellent!

MUST SEE, EAT, DRINK destination when in Las VEGAS

By Sharinda W |

If you’re ever in Vegas, this is a MUST GO to GEM RESTAURANT!!! The food is FANTASIMAL!!! Who ever heard of steak dinners being 1/2 off for HaPpY Hour 5-8pm & Midnight-3am???!!! ONLY in VEGAS, baby!!! The waiters all wear prohibition clothing. The decorating is IMPECCABLE with classic chandeliers, lots of dark woodworking and GORGEOUS GIANT pictures of entertainment icons fill the wall space! Food allergies? NO WORRIES!!! They’ll take special care of you!!! Want a special drink made just for you? You describe what you want and watch the cocktail artist create a drink so beautiful you’ll want to take a picture of it before you start to drink it! YES, they take reservations & walk-ins. If you choose not to make a reservation, be prepared to wait as they are busy!

Best steak ever…in a strip mall!

By coachpete70 |

Make a reservation now this place is that good. It’s been a couple weeks and after careful reflection my wife and I agree that the porterhouse with spice rub and blue cheese topping was the best steak we’ve ever had! Just like Herbs and Rue, cocktails, sides, ambience and service were fantastic.

What happened?

By Fritz |

We loved this place before last night. The food is still good but the service... They did not honor our reservation despite the place being empty. We waited at the bar where one bartender literally told another to not look up and don’t serve the customers. Our table service was pathetically slow.

AMAZING STEAKS!!!

By Jason S |

This restaurant was recommended by a Vegas Fire Officer. I can see why……. This is quite possibly the best steak I’ve ever had. Amazing! The staff are friendly and service is good. Very attentive and flexible with orders if you want to change something on the menu. Your order will entail exactly what you ask for…….there are no frills. If you want sides, then they are extra and it’s not cheap……….but it is worth it in my opinion. Not a place for children due to cost (strawberries to donkeys) but great for adults. I would certainly recommend and also visit again one day A+++++

What a deal!

By Bruce N |

Came here for happy hour and had the rib eye at 50% off. Great deal for quality steak. Rib eye steak was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. Cocktail was on point. Dark, old school steak house atmosphere. Excellent service and highly recommended.

Hard Pass

By Riley W |

Save your money and make a reservation at Herb and Rye. Cleaver makes a futile attempt at delivering a quality meal. The wait staff are nice, the decor is old school, but the steak was barely a notch up from the local sizzler.

Epic Bartending! Great Food!

By Jon M |

I don't write many reviews, but felt the need to write this one. Cleaver was a real find in Las Vegas. My biz partner and I were there for CES and were trying to find a place that had ambiance and that we did not feel like cattle. We set reservations and were treated like kings. Our first trip there the bartender, Kristen (sp?), was helpful in making a custom cocktail that was not on the menu, but reflected what we were looking for that night. The food was super high quality, visually beautiful. We then had a dinner at a different place on the strip, which was also very good, but the logistics and crowd, felt totally manufactured. SO.... the next night we just went back to Cleaver! The bartender, Mike, that night was also fantastic. I enjoyed this place so much that I bought a menu to give to a friend that is a cocktail enthusiast and geek. I hope this place kills it!

Dinner

By Melissa S |

Our server and busser combinition of Ashley and Manny were delightful. The food was tasty. Steak done to temperature. Double pork chop was juicy. Pork belly mac and cheese creamy and salty. You can't go wrong eating here.

So good! Except for the ribeye…

By michael w |

Started with a dark rye Old Fashioned. The female bartender was both friendly and outgoing and had a special ability as she brought forth one of the best OFs I have ever had. We followed with Spanish Octopus as an appetizer and it was as good as the octopus I’ve had in Portugal. Tender and tasty and could easily be a great entree. Highly recommend! From there we had a recommended soup, mushroom and coconut that was simply sublime. Small mushrooms in a cup and the waiter poured the coconut broth on top. Super! The wedge followed with especially delicious blue cheese, tiny pork chunks and egg on the side. Amazing how good iceberg lettuce can be! A side of spinach went with the ribeye. Unfortunately the ribeye, which was properly cooked rare, was saw, saw, saw, chew, chew, chew. Luck of the draw I got a bad cut. Surely not typical but it did kill the mood. At 66 bucks you hope to get a ribeye that melts in your mouth rather than makes your jaw hurt! Oh, well, maybe next time…

Cleaver does it right

By Numba11 |

Nice well-honed experience. Their experience shows. Would like more by-the-glass wine selections but they did a great job overall.

Delicious, perfect, dining experience in a tucked away dreamy restaurant.

By Donna R |

Everything about our dining experience was perfect. Juan and Antonio took such good care of us. The timing of the drinks, appetizers and then mains was on point. The food was delicious and served at the correct temperatures. A nice surprise treat for dessert to celebrate our birthday/anniversary celebration.

Excellent Steak

By BriannaW2323 |

We went as a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and had a great time! Our waiter was amazing and we loved the atmosphere here. Was not expecting much after driving up to a strip center but it was huge and had a great menu. We thought the steak, brussel sprouts, street corn, cocktails, pork belly mac and cheese were delicious. We also started with the Cesar salad, bread, and calamari which were all good. Lacking flavor were the mussels, mashed potatoes, and chocolate lava cake for dessert-would skip on those. Good recommendation from our 2 Uber drivers.

Great dinner

By Oclo812 |

Can to cleaver around 6pm and sat at the bar. Were greeted by Mike the bartender who took care of us all night. The food was amazing, steak tar tar was among the best I’ve had anywhere in the world, got the ribeye cleaver style and it was perfect with bleu cheese spinach and pork belly Mac n cheese. Decadent dinner and that’s what we were going for. Mikes drinks were perfect, even recommended an after dinner drink to clear the palette, all I remember is that it had a lot of bitters and we really enjoyed it. Will definitely return to clever next time we are in Vegas!

Lack of Training/Inflated Prices for Quality of Food

By Jeannie |

We decided to try Cleavers since they still have some of their steaks at 1/2 price. Well we found out how they can do that. But before I get to the food, let me tell you our experience of getting seated. Made early reservations. We got a confirmation text to confirm the day of Reservation. About 15mins after the 1st text we get another 1 telling us our reservation had been moved. Called the restaurant & they said we had called and moved it back, which we had not. We got there early for pre-dinner drinks. Let the hostess know, she tried to confuse our reservation again. We were told they would let us know when our table was ready. It was past our reservation time, kept seeing people being seated. Checked in with hostess and was told they would come and get us. Never happened went up and checked in again and stayed at desk so they would not forget us. Finally got seated in a far back room, screaming children and it was even designed like a old Western Sizzler. We requested a new table from Dave, he did get us moved, to a better spot, but let me tell you that place is very loud! Now to the food & drink. Bar was great - basic drinks like a Bombay Saffire with tonic was $13.00 - was expecting maybe $11 or $12 At the most, buy bartender was friendly. Once we ordered our steaks & sides, we realized why they could sell them at 1/2 price. All sides are marked up, I have never seen such a thin New York Strip in my life. I thought I was at Ellis Island getting the breakfast steak. I tasted ok, the same with the sides. Would recommend the bar if you don't mind inflated prices. The atmosphere at the bar is fun & friendly. But I would not recommend the food at all. I was so hoping to find a cool, fun, tasty new restaurant. I swear I could get in there and do some customer service training & upgrade the food. They could make a fortune without the inflated prices they have going on now.

LOVE CLEAVER! Evelyn and Alex!!!

By Nick A |

Evelyn and Alex had outstanding service. Never went without food or a drink. Very attentive while providing patient service to each one of the members involved in our company. Without a doubt making this a staple for company events every quarter.

10/10 would recommend

By Angelo |

This place is amazing - everybody’s been recommending this place so I decided to stop in for a drink on my birthday. Mike made me a Pornstar martini and it was easily the best cocktail I’ve ever had. The bar took great care of us and made my birthday memorable. Thanks Mike!

BEST STEAK EVER

By Simon P |

After doing alot of research we was recommended severial times by locals to go Cleavers. We had already been to Oscars and Craft steak. Roughly cleavers was half the price but twice as good. We had the Porter house steak, mac and cheese, shrimp and fries. Simply put...... was the highlight of my trip. Best steak ive had in 30yrs of travelling the world!

My new favorite

By Fritz |

What a meal, fun personable waiters quick with a joke. Tremendous menu, excellent steak tartar, shrimp cocktail, steaks and sides. My new go to place when in Vegas.

Awesome Experience

By Tracy C |

We first attempted to go to Herbs & Rye. They were full and bar was packed. Mike went above and beyond for us. He called Cleavers and got us reserved seats at the bar. Everyone made sure our seats were reserved. When we first arrived we were told by several of the staff these seats are reserved. I loved they wouldn’t just give our seats up to anyone else. Esteban and Allyssa’s service was exceptional. The food was excellent and the donuts were perfect. We can’t say enough great things about this place. If we come back to Vegas, we will go back to Cleavers!

One of the best steak houses in Vegas

By Khoi N |

We celebrated my cousins bday here. I found Cleavers on Tiktok and even our Uber driver raved about this place. The staff here was amazing at accommodating are large party of +20 people. Not sure if this promo was going on for long but happy hour was all day when we dined on a Saturday. The restaurant is really dark. You get some interesting wallpaper and random celebrity photos all over the restaurant. If you plan on taking photos definitely have your flash on. We ordered a bunch of cocktails. Some of my favorites include the ready fire aim, silver monk and porn star. For the appetizers, we ordered the calamari and spicy mussels. The mussels are a must order. Not too hot with the spice level. But the white wine and rich tomato basil broth was delicious. For the entrees, we ordered the squid ink pasta, lamb chops, double cut pork chop and the NY strip. The pasta was made fresh and the yolk made it really rich. The meats were marinated well and cooked perfectly at medium rare. The cuts were tender and I'd recommend getting the chimichurri, house steak sauce, red wine glaze and the bearnaise sauces to dip your meats in. The sides they say can serve 3-4 people. We loved the street corn, pork belly mac and cheese, spinach and mushroom risotto. The pork belly was thick and the risotto was cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed our experience here. Our orders came out accurately and our servers were really attentive. Definitely recommend making reservations and ask about which sauces are perfect for each cut of meat. You get great value here when dining with the happy hour specials. If you have a large party like us definitely request the large room in the back. With the current construction in the front you may have to go walk about 3 minutes from the restaurant for your Uber pick up and drop off. Highly recommend this steakhouse. Quality cuts, service and at a great discount.

Great vibe and great food

By Theodore L |

Went on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Vegas. Wonderful speak easy vibe. Great bar. Very accommodating. Our waiter Miguel was amazing and the whole service team was amazing. The food was well presented and excellent. My wife asked if the could make an orange chocolate martin for dessert, and she said it was one of the best she had ever had. We asked them to call a cab to return to our hotel. The manager was kind enough to do so and then waited with us until the cab arrived. We would definitely return and suggest if you're in Vegas you give it a try.
