Not really on the beach, but close. Apparently this place has been in business for many years. Typical bar food. Our server was not very attentive. We had to get up and ask for refills on our iced tea.

Went here after a ride on the Bahia Belle with some locals we met on the boat. Super nice people and we had a great time. There were a few transient looking characters but after all it is a beach bar. Nice mix between outside and in inside.

Great prices, food and drinks were good and accepted families vs most of the other places near by were adults only.

We had a couple of good burgers, a few good beers on tap and good beer usually means a nice whisky selection. Also the bell pepper rings were pretty good. If you go by please try those.

This was sort of a surprise, I wasn't expecting such good quality food so close to the beach, their pulled pork sandwich was delicious, and came with plenty of fries too, I can't remember the name of the server that served us, but we were there on Tuesday March 3rd around noon. Overall this was a great restaurant.

Stopped in for breakfast and was very pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly and the food was superb. Hubby had the seafood omelette and I had the California. Both were delicious, but I did regret not ordering the seafood when I saw all the yummy shrimp in hubbys omelette. They also have an extensive beer selection and tons of tvs for sports. Will make it a point to come back.

The food here was fabulous! There were five of us and it was reasonably priced for a TON of food. The food was also delicious! I enjoyed a burger with mushrooms and onions and 1000 island dressing.

We had high expectations for this place and wanted to like it however the food was disappointing. The service was good however it seems they cut corners on food quality. The meat was greasy and the side orders were bland and tasteless. The surprise at the end of the meal was an add on surcharge. Why? If expenses have gone up then increase prices and don't be so cheap as to not want to pay to reprint their menus. I resent this restaurant helping themselves to my wallet just to make a political statement. This surcharge is dishonest and wrong. We deducted the surcharge from the tip and certainly won't go back to this restaurant or any restaurant owned by that group.

Meh. Typical bar food. Had a grilled mahi taco. With authentic taco joints right down the way, this one just didn't compare. The fish was good, but I like my tacos on corn tortillas without all the American condiments. The kids hamburger meal was good. Huge portion; good value. I helped my daughter eat it. Good beer list.

What a great breakfast for a big eater. We were there Sunday morning and Steak and Eggs was the "special". $7.50 for a large tri tip, two eggs, hash browns, croissant! I could only eat half and took half away for lunch. Coffee was made specially for me - decaf and I appreciated that. Watch out for the orange juice at $4.50 for a glass...!! Come on, it's California, home of billions of oranges so why double the price of most places? I have to say it's fun to knock down a good breakfast while the roller coaster patrons are perhaps losing theirs! That old wooden coaster is a marvel that it survives. The riders scream a lot. Hurt my neck a bit but I said goodbye to 7 decades a while ago. We went back for a second breakfast, it's that good and the waitress was phenomenal. There's an open air bar on one side of the grill. It looks like a popular hangout for the locals. Great place. Cheap eats but watch out for that OJ...!

We stopped here after spending some time walking around the beach and boardwalk area. We needed a drink and something to eat. I had the brisket and it was really good. My wife had the pulled pork and said it was good. After a hour plus of walking around the biggest thing was getting place to sit and rest our feet a bit. Our server didn't seem all the interested in waiting on us. It seemed like we were a burden to them and that does diminish the experience a bit. Overall the food was good and that was important. It was also good to get a few minutes to sit and relax after a fairly hectic day.

This place was great. We stayed in mission beach area for a week and went here several times. Burgers were fantastic and service was amazing. Our waiter Shaun made us feel very welcome and he was very attentive. Perfect waiter. Apparently this place used to be a dive and it’s just had a refit. I have no idea what it was like but now it’s a place I would recommend. Good food, people and music. Great for everyone including families. The review would be 5 but only gave it 4 as I don’t drink and I had no idea what non alcoholic drinks they offered other than soda. Menu after menu of beer and cocktails but nothing obvious for mocktails. But would still hugely recommended if you are near mission beach

Very nice atmosphere. Inside and outside bar seating. Casual with great staff and service. The brisket is the best I’ve ever had. Very tender sweet and melts in your mouth. You will not find a better brisket anywhere. The loaded fries and the pulled pork, brisket, and fish tacos were all phenomenal. Exceptional food for the value. Great service. Excellent location – can’t go wrong.

We stopped here one evening for drinks and had a good time. We wanted to come back but unfortunately the week we were here Coaster was closed several times to the public as they were having private events. Did not eat here so cannot comment on the food.

Portions are huge so you might want yo share but the food is amazing! Pulled pork and beans were best I've had. We got lucky and it wasn't that busy. Love this place and it was far cheaper for the 4 of us than anywhere else. Great value and amazing food!

My 9 year old nephew and went to the Coaster Saloon several times on our recent vacation. Ashley was our server nearly every time and she was great! Very attentive to my nephew and myself. I had a moment of credit card theft while on vacation, and when we told Ashley about it, she bought our pizza for us! It was the most thoughtful and kind thing anyone has ever done for me and for my nephew (everything worked out fine, BTW). My nephew wants me to say that Ashley is a good person, a really good waitress, and her service and kindness were wonderful. Thank you Ashley! Oh, and the seafood omelet is AMAZING! I would strongly recommend The Coaster Saloon whether you're travelling with little ones or just big folk.

We had the BBQ plate and the fried chicken salad. The BBQ had a great flavor and the salad was wonderful. The salad was huge and was enough for two people. Our server told use the chef liked to pickle things. The pickles on the BBQ plate were both dill and sweet. Very good. But the star of the plate was the pickled onions. Be sure you get some. We highly recommend this place.

Great atmosphere with games and a large screen. Pool table and table games to pass the time while you wait for your food or just hang out with friends and grab a drink.

Yes! We took our daughters, (4yrs & 7yrs) for a quick dinner after visiting Belmont Park. Their pizza was actually really good. ( I know; I'm as surprised as you) Local craft beer was good. Our server was super friendly and was attentive to our girls. Good food, decent atmosphere, reasonable prices, and friendly servers. Kudos!

I eagerly anticipated a great bar-b-que but was disappointed with Coaster Saloon. Its coasting on the Cohn name. The chicken was tender and moist but the ribs too dry with the rub overpowering. The brisket sammy was decent but the much too buttered texas toast destroyed the flaavor of the meat. Coaster will do well because of its location and bar but there are many better bar-b-que "joints" in San Diego. It doesnt live up to the reputation of a Cohn restaurant.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere and delicious food and Great selection of drinks!! Location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach.

Great food for the family and they didn’t force alcoholic drinks on us, left us alone drinking water. I had the BBQ pulled pork which I couldn’t finish and the price was reasonable. Plenty of music and sports on the large TV’s.

Ordered the small plate of ribs and came with choice of 2 sides. I chose chili which was awesome and roasted corn which had a funny taste to it so skip. Ribs were tender and very good. Cold beer too! A plus was their very clean bathrooms. Can’t go wrong here!

We just stopped by because of our trip to the beach. The redhead lady working there was so awesome and cool. Looked like she really loved her job! The place was clean, even the toilets. Good food and lovely atmosphere!

We ate at The Coaster Saloon as a 2nd choice (1st choice was 21 and over only). Shared a pizza with my daughter. It tasted like something you'd get at a ballpark or theme park. Service was ok. Server was attentive but not very welcoming or particularly friendly. I got the feeling that restaurants on that side of Mission Beach don't really care for kids. Way overpriced for what we got.

We stopped in here to have breakfast before spending the day biking around Mission Bay. My wife and I each had a delicious omelette at a fair price.

The atmosphere and food here were both wonderful. Service was fast and nice. Open air on one side featuring pool, Foosball and corn hole. Sports bar vibe with delicious BBQ.

Four of us went for breakfast and loved it all. Huge portions and super friendly staff. Great breakfast experience just steps from the Beach!

great selection and great drinks. the nachos were awesome. i thought the fish and chips were a bit too breaded, but the chicken and pulled pork were great and they have great coleslaw

Went here only because my daughter wanted to watch the baseball game that was being shown. I’m so glad we went in. From the start the welcome was friendly and you just felt like you were a regular and not a random tourist (which I am!). Beer was a problem as there were 40 draft beers to choose from (no recommendations from me as you need to find what’s right for you). We ordered a selection of food. The kids had chicken tender starters and a side order of fries. Big mistake…. 4 of the best chicken breasts each plus a mountain of fries each. This was huge and it was only a starter!! I ordered the pulled pork and the GLW ordered a burger. Both immense and a struggle to eat. Thank the lord for doggie bags!! Whomever the chefs were certainly knows there way around a kitchen- the food was to die for. Our servers, we’re friendly and very helpful and we’re happy to just have a chat. This place is so laid back and chilled. It’s fantastic. Just beware of the hide potions!!!! A must go to place if you’re ever in Mission Beach

My family loved this restaurant!! The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Best service in San Diego!! All of the food was delicious and by far one of the best burgers I've ever had!! All food and drinks were reasonably priced. Wait times were minimal. The atmosphere was very laid back and chill. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Found this place by a recommendation from the resort we were staying at. We went for a late lunch so we were between the rush. My husband had the BBQ and I had a fried chicken salad. He really enjoyed his plate and my salad was wonderful. The chicken had a really unique flavor and there was 4 large pieces. The salad was huge, could have been more than enough for 2 people. The server talked about how the chef made his own pickles and stuff. My husband’s plate had dill and sweet pickles but it also had pickled onions. They were great. Never had anything like them before. If you go here and they are not on your plate be sure and ask for them.

We we're quite disappointed with the area as we were expecting a better choice of restaurants but unfortunately the options weren't great. So we decided to give this place a try, the waitress was nice and we ordered our drinks then food. If you like cider I would recommend it as it was most enjoyable. The food alias was wasn't so good, don’t get me wrong it wasn't unpleasant but it didn't make me want to rush back. The positive I would say was the price as we felt it was very reasonable about $12 for a burger. They also have several screens to watch the various sports, but the other bars and restaurants within the vicinity do too. 7/10

Pulled pork or ribs & onion rings. Our go to for lunch. Large enough for whole family style get togethers. Beach attire welcome as the crowd passes by. Yahoo! Named for the famous roller coaster across the street, watch as is whizzes by.

Great place on Mission Beach amazing hamburgers, fries and well Mai Tai's are yummy!! Definitely will go here again in future!

We popped in last week after a walk around the boardwalk. For a starter we got the quesadilla with cocked which was nice and crisp not flimsy at all and went well with the guacamole and sour cream. For entree I had the mahi fish wrap and the kiddo got a meat lovers pizza. The crust on the pizza was nice and not soggy and it was loaded with cheese. My fish wrap was tasty and had a nice kick with the sauce and slaw that was crispy. The fries were nice and hot which went good with the shaded seating and an ice cold shocktop beer

super relaxing vibe with good beers on tap, solid burgers, and nice staff. It can get a little bit crowded at times, but thats just the nature of the location

Two orders of fish and chips and a mahi wrap on Saturday night around 9:30pm. Food was good. Came fairly fast. Being on the beach it was just barely filled and the restaurant area could have used megaphones at each table just to talk above the noise and the unappetizing trance type music that was blazing. Maybe I'm getting old.

I came here with a party of 8, and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly our meal came out! We were highly satisfied with our quality of meal and the prices. I ordered some sort of spicy ranch chicken salad- easily the best salad I’ve ever had! Our waitress was super friendly as well, and we never had to ask for refills or anything. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal here!

We were walking along the boardwalk in Mission Beach, looking for a place to have a late lunch. We turned up Ventura Place and and found this BBQ restaurant. We sat on the patio as there were only two families. Service was very prompt and attentive. We ordered a family plate for the 3 of us. It consisted of chicken, pulled port, beef brisket, texas toast and 3 sides. We ordered French fries, bacon potato salad and Mac and Cheese. The brisket was very tender and not dry. The French fries were perfectly crispy. There was plenty of food for 3 women. A homeless person came in and sat on the patio. They initially chased him out due to the size of his personal belongs. He returned five minutes later with fewer belongings and they allowed him to order. When we received the bill I noted a 4% surcharge. The 4% is after taxes, and thus they aren't paying taxes on the amount. When I asked the waitress she said it was to cover increases in their costs. Their website states the surcharge is "to help cover increasing costs and in support of the recent increases to minimum wage and benefits for our dedicated Team Members." According to the waitress they have not received an increase in their wages, nor a boast in their tips. I don't like being nickel and dimed and for this reason I am giving them 4 stars.

I ordered take out for myself and my son. The bbq pork sandwich I ordered was really good, but the mac and cheese was the best. I liked that they put green onions in it. My son's chicken strips and fries that I sampled were really good and high quality. I sat at the bar and had a drink while I waited for my order. It was a strong pour. Both the waitress and the bartender that took my order were awesome.

Smoked brisket is the bomb! Tender like butter, just the right amount of smoke, and terrific flavor. Same with the chili, homemade pickles and beans. No knives needed meat melts in your mouth. What a find! Cocktails and shooters are terrific too!

As Texans we're very particular about BBQ. My husband loved the brisket and ribs. I loved the collard greens!! Our boys loved the pulled pork and mac and cheese. Very friendly staff. Great drink menu! Will most definitely return!!

we visited Dec 8 of this year, great beer selection and had clamato juice for my spicy ceasar to start my sunday funday off just right! The pulled pork nachos were soooo good, we thought we would try a few things on the menu but after enjoying these we were comfortably full and satisfied. Lots of tvs for games if you're looking for a place to watch. day time vibe was casual and welcoming to all.

We really only picked this because of the outside appearance, it has a big mural that mimics the roller coaster across the street, we liked the decor, and it allows minors during the day. very pleased with our choice. Big center bar, very friendly staff, still feels family friendly. We were there with our 19 and 22 year old, we all had a great time, had nachos and a few drinks. Reasonably priced and good portions. Heard other customers talking about how it is their favorite local place which is always a good sign.

Coasters is located steps from Mission Beach and the lifeguard tower among the gift shops. the food is very good and the portions are large, they will do takeout orders if you want to eat on the beach.

Super friendly bartenders and servers, well stocked bar, great view of the roller coaster! Feels "local"

Visited here twice last week to make sure I got this right. The setting is pure boardwalk, beach and literally across the street from a roller coaster. Both indoor and outdoor casual sitting, with live music, trivia you name it. The service was super with both recommending the brisket. Well I'm a rib man and so ordered them the first visit. The server brought me a taste of the brisket as well. The ribs were good, but under dry rubbed spiced, served with a KC type sauce. The brisket was some of the best I've ever had, but don't tell my wife. Tender meat, super bark, just the right fat content. For sides, the Cole slaw us nice, but the Mac and cheese was amazing. Overall a great value for the price, I guarantee you will take leftovers home

I understand this place was recently "remade" - the staff was wonderful. What a fun environment - they have games to entertain the kids while you wait (foozeball, connect 4 and others). The portions were HUGE and we really had a great time!

This place is very fun! It is obvious it has been there for quiet a while yet their menu is up to date. We had an Ahi Taco, Blue Mussels with Chorizo Jalapeno sauce and a California Burger. All were delicious. The Mussels were very different but the sauce suited them well. And the burger was a hand formed patty and did not rely on sauces to give it delicious flavor...the meat was very tasty.

Stopped in here after an afternoon at Mission Beach. Had great service, food was great and fast! Warning: if you order the nachos make sure you have someone to share them with! Lots of different beer on tap. Something for everyone. Will go here again!

We ate here twice during our San Diego vacation. My husband absolutely loved his jalapeno burger and brisket chili. I wanted to love the wings because they were brined then flash fried, but they were a dry and rubbery. The outside wasn't crisp at all. When we came the second time I decided to just get a slice of pizza next door and order a beer at Coasters. Before I could order a drink I was told I couldn't have outside food. I could understand if it was busy, but we were the only ones there. I am glad that my husband got his second meal that he enjoyed, but we won't be back on our next visit to San Diego area.

The restaurant is just off the Boardwalk, and very close to the beach. The staff is very friendly, and will help you select a beer that meets your specific taste. The macaroni and cheese is bacon bits on the top and to die for. It was a nice place to relax and Converse. They did have televisions on with sports, but we weren't interested in watching. There are Cardinals fans, and have the schedules around the dining area.

We visited this restaurant three times during our visit to San Diego. We had three different meals and loved every meal. Good beer selection and very close to the beach.

Walked in not expecting greatness this close to a tourist beach. We were immediately welcomed by our host, bartender and server Maciej who did all of it well. Food was great, wings were excellent as was the Barenjager burger! Good music at the right volume. Could not have been better.

We stopped in for a couple beers and wings for lunch. Place was packed but we found a table. Waited 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge our presence. Still noone did. We asked a waitress flying by us for some menus and she litterally threw them at us! That was our deciding factor to find another place for lunch. Being busy is understandable but dont throw menus at customers who were already waiting 20 minutes to be acknowledged. Bad for business, bad for customers. We wont return.

We did have a great experience. Street corn is the best in the business. Top 5 best coleslaw I have ever eaten. Mac and cheese is also a top 5. Great BBQ sauce. Be careful, the prices are getting high. $19 for a burger, yikes! We have no problem coming back here one day. See our YouTube channel Coolest Life.

We visited Coaster's in August 2019 when we were visiting San Diego on holiday. We had done our research and we liked the look of the menu, and what was on offer. I have to say we had a great meal, and we were really impressed with the food quality and the portion sizes. The burgers we had were beautiful, and we do not normally eat burgers when we are out, but we had to at Coasters. The beer choices were very good as well, but you would expect that in San Diego. It is worth asking what happy hour offers are on, and worth having a look through the beer menu. Certainly somehwere we would visit when we are back in San Diego

We ordered food to go from Coaster Saloon. It’s located across the street from Belmont park. Excellent brisket sandwich that was so tender. We also had the “Kuba” pulled pork sandwich and breaded chicken sandwich. Both were great. The elote as a side was so good. One of my favorite meals while in San Diego.

First Day in San Diego and decided on BBQ. We both ordered chicken meals and could barely finish them! Beans and coleslaw was perfect. Maybe substitute nice soft buns or cornbread instead of 2 pc of stale bread. Great service and great prices!! Highly recommended!!!

We wanted to eat at a restaurant with a view of the beach; however, all of those places were full. A local shop owner recommended this place. Wasn't impressed. My reuben had hardly any sauerkraut or meat and too much oozing cheese. The bread was way too greasy. Just wasn't appetizing. The server was just ok. Also had to ask for a printed bill. Not sure why many restaurants aren't printing out bills these days, but a person should not have to ask to see a printed bill - seems to me to be an easy way to rip people off. I left more than half of my food, which I usually don't do.

Stopped in to watch football, nice indoor/outdoor spot to have a beer. Had the tri-tip appetizer and wings. Both were good though the tri-tip was a little tuff but nicely seasoned. It's family friendly too.

We were in town for a long weekend and went to Coaster Saloon the first day. The barbecue was incredible and the staff was on their game. We went back two more times before leaving town. One of the managers, Kuba, was very personable. The prices are reasonable and the whole experience was terrific. This review comes from three couples that spend a lot of time in bars and restaurants so we know what's good and what's not so good. The photo bomber, third from the left, owns a shop on the boardwalk. The girls spent so much money there he closed down at noon to come to the bar with us.

The coaster is now a Cohen Restaurant and Chef Tim outdoes himself! The BBQ is fantastic! I recommend the beef brisket sandwich (Big O') - it is heaven (everyone at the table had to try it)! I have been for brunch a few times and the prices are reasonable with large portions! There is even a special football menu when games are playing! Brunch is only on weekends until 11am. This restaurant has a full bar and is located across from Belmont Park- a few meters from the ocean!

Great food, big portions, you won't go hungry, Wednesday kids 11and under eat free with an adult meal. They have table soccer, corn hole, air hockey that will keep the kids occupied. We ate there with a group of 10 of us, four kids, and with appetizers, drinks, and meals we were out of there for under $140.00, and given that it is a less than a block from the beach and across the street from the Belmont amusement park.

I'm not sure who our server was but she was great! We came in and chose where to sit. The waitress came right over with the food menu and also a cocktail menu. Food was about 3/5 stars Drinks were about 3/5 stars (weren't very strong it seemed) Service was 5/5 stars!

We stopped here for lunch while visiting San Diego. The food was fantastic, and the service was amazing. Drinks were expensive and weak. Cost was the only 6 that kept me from giving this 5 stars. 6 people for lunch (burgers) was almost $200.00.

Just finished the 8 oz steak and Caesar salad.. It was all well done and delicious.. Food came out quickly and even though the bartender was super busy! They had a fly problem going on at low tide but it's open air so not sure if they could do anything about it

We shared a “choice of 3 meat” combo that had ribs, pulled beef and brisket. We had onion rings and beans for sides. They also put bread and pickles and pickled onions on the tray. It was excellent. Our server was kind and helpful.

I'll admit, it's been 20+ years since I'd been to the Coaster. WOW. I was with a group and we only had an hour for lunch, so we ducked in. I was amazed at the updates, how clean and lively the place was and how it really is a restaurant not just a bar now. We had great service, even with 5 separate checks (always be a good guest and request this before ordering :) ). Derek was our server and he was super on top of it. He was friendly and upbeat and made us feel really welcome. I had a burger- requested a lettuce wrap, but that wasn't really a thing here, because the burger was just placed on top of the usual piece of lettuce, tomato, onion. No problem, I had a side salad. Burger was excellent and a really large portion, so I had leftovers for dinner. Per my friends, the Caesar salad, Fiesta salad and mac and cheese were all really tasty too. Glad we stopped in!

Great place to eat. The have large portion and it very good. We took are kids and they really enjoyed there meal. The witness was friendly and did a great job.

I had wings and fries, their pound is only about 9 for about 12$, my daughter got the nachos with carne asada, the meat was cold but it was still good, we should of got a half order, regular order is huge!! Saw how big the half order is after that's still a big plate! My husband had California burger he really liked it, was juicy and flavorful! Lots of different beer! There is a kids menu, family friendly! Our waitress came around often and made sure we were ok! Went on a Sat during lunch time!

This is right off the beach and boardwalk, across the street from the amusement park. It is an indoor/outdoor seat yourself bar with tons of TVs to watch sports. Food is burgers and BBQ, salads etc type food. Gluten free options clearly marked on the menu. Gf bun available. I recommend the pulled pork (also gf). They have jenga games available, corn hole and foosball. Kids loved it. 40 or so beers on tap for the grown ups.

Cute restaurant, very laid back, TVs everywhere. You’re right by the boardwalk, which helps out when you need to walk off your meal! Our server helped us out by suggesting that the BBQ plate is huge, and it proved to be more than enough for my husband and I to share. It was delicious, but the staff was a little too chill and forgot our drinks. We still enjoyed the food and it was a convenient stop as we ambled around town.

We had just walked the full length of the boardwalk and were hot and thirsty. Coasters wasn’t too full of football fans so we went in for a cold beer. They had nice shaded areas outside so we really enjoyed our couple of drinks.

I liked the location and the mood of the place but the fish was mostly breading and the Nachos were below average, The BBQ was good however.

Everyone loved their food, most of us got brisket. Big portions too. Watched the USA soccer game here and played some bags while we waited on our food. Good for families!

Loud and brash. Large tables. Quick friendly service. We just had drinks but the food portions looked huge. Not suitable for a quiet romantic evening 😂😂

We went in for two reasons, most venues on this street do not have a liquor license that allows anyone under 21 to enter, even to eat lunch, and the sign said 52 beers on tap. Food was fair, IPA list not that great, and inside was pretty run down. Better venues on Mission boardwalk that allowed us to eat as a family in far better atmosphere.

Looking for the perfect little breakfast joint not far away from the ocean after the morning walk? This is it. Nice draft beer selection and traditional breakfast cocktails, tasty menu selections for both breakfast and lunch. Afternoon mahi tacos and breakfast seafood benedict - you can't go wrong.

Don't act like an idiot tourist. many of these people come here regularly and not only are friendly, they are great for getting local tips on restaurants and stories about the area. Bar tenders are great.

Was on vacation in San Diego and spent a day at Mission Beach right near the small amusement park. There didn’t seem to be a good choice for a place to eat among the small set of t-shirt shops but we decided to try The Coaster. The Coaster is a small bar with a choice of indoor or patio seating. We didn’t expect much but ended up having a nice lunch – my daughter’s salad was fresh, I had a really good California burger, my other daughter had a good grilled chicken sandwich and my wife had a French dip roast beef sandwich which was just OK. I can definitely recommend The Coaster for lunch if you are spending the day at Mission Beach.

We spent the day on the beach and visited The Coaster Saloon for dinner, which is perfectly situated near the beach. The atmosphere is typical of a pub/bar restaurant so there's no complaints about that. The menu is reasonable with the choices and prices; however, my biggest complaint was everything we wanted to order received feedback "we don't have that tonight". It was a Monday night and pretty quiet, but considering it was still summer, I would have thought they'd have stock. Finally we just settled on something to eat because we were tired, hungry and frustrated. The food was enjoyable, but after spending time trying to figure out what they had, I just wanted to eat and get out.
Fun BBQ
Good food. Family fun. It was casual seat yourself. We found an outside table in the sun on a cool january day. Nice kids menu. We all got some variation of a pulled pork sandwich. Outdoor games to play before the food came kept the kids happy. My husband had a "burger" which was a beef party with a slice of brisket and pulled pork plus some sauce and onion crisps. He said he will not have to eat meat again for a week. Better homemade fries than usual. We all left full and happy. It was a little loud and tables were not particularly comfortable. Wait staff were friendly. I would eat here again. Probably our favorite dinning experience of our vacation.
