Great place for dinner or just drinks before heading out. Super loungey vibes. The bartenders are fantastic, especially Ken!

Troy and Lauren are awesome loved being at the bar because they took great care of us! The food was excellent!

My family and I were staying at the hotel and decided to eat here. Jayden was great and offered excellent recommendations and really great service. Our favorites were the charcuterie board, the truffle fries, and the burger.

Very nice place with a great atmosphere. Very artsy and instagramable. Would prefer fresh juice tho. The brisket and eggs was just delightful.

We saw that Matt had a new restaurant (one could throw a stone from FT 33 and almost reach the Virgin Hotel, which houses the sparkly new, just too-cool Commons Club. The best news is that, like FT 33, the Commons Club has places for diners to observe the kitchen while eating. And like FT 33, the food is delicious. And the cooks are happy to talk with you about the amazing dishes, as they make the magic happen. We ordered only appetizers (five of them) along with two-each special drinks, while we watched the show. Both Ralph and Ashley were particularly knowledgeable and such fun to talk with. Every dish we had was delicious. We can hardly wait to return. . . and just hope that Ralph and Ashley will be working that night.

This wasn’t my first time at Commons Club but I always have a great time. Palmer was super sweet and even Joe the manager came by to say hi. I had the spicy tuna on crispy rice which is not only beautiful but super yummy! The perfect summer snack and a great portion too! Also tried the steak Frits and that hit the spot too. The meat was perfectly cooked and who doesn’t love some fries?! All in all I had a great time with great food and friendly staff. We’ll be back for sure!!

Perfect preparation every time! I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. Each time. I was able to try some new things and my food was delivered quickly with care.

COVID REVIEW- our small party chose this place for the outdoor seating option. We felt very safe as all the wait-staff followed COVID protocols and the tables were spread far apart. We thoroughly enjoyed our round of cocktails. The food is not cheap, but it was delicious. The Boujee Tots were as the name suggests - interesting for the first time but probably not worthy of a re-order. The quail was delicately prepared and certainly worth $26 (in fact, other chefs would serve you half as much for twice as more). My only comment was that the bird was slightly over-salted otherwise the balance of the dish was very good. Oysters could not be faulted. I applaud the designer of this restaurant - the lighting and furniture choices are stunning. This diverse menu can impress out of town visitors as well provide enough options to become a staple for post-work catchups for locals nearby.

This was a disappointing experience. We had a great experience on a Virgin cruise, so we decided to try this restaurant since it is owned by Virgin. It was Valentine’s Day and they had a 3 course meal for that night. As soon as we sat down, a waiter came to the table, read the menu to us and asked what we wanted to eat. No drink order, no time to look at the menu, etc. We asked the waiter to take our drink order and that we would look at the menu while he was gone. It took a long time to get our drinks. All night, whenever we ordered a drink, we’d have to wait 15+ minutes for it to arrive. Finally, we ordered our meal and the salad course came out missing the Roquefort cheese that that was supposed to come with the salad. When we pointed that out and we were brought a cup of the cheese to put on the salad. I was sitting by the expediter and I noticed that she wasn’t looking at any of the plates as they came out, so there seemed to be no quality control. We barely started eating our salad and the entree came out. We had to send it back and ask the waiter to let us eat our salad before serving the entree. The entree was delicious! The bottom line is that all of the issues had to do with execution, not the food itself. I don’t know if this is a Virgin problem across all of their restaurants or if it is just this one. BTW: we did not stay at the hotel so this review is only for the main restaurant and not for the hotel.

Had a team arrive in Dallas early afternoon, so seven of us popped into Commons Club for a bite as we were all starving after long flights. Troy was an absolute delight serving us--not only is his memory for orders a steel vault, but he was a ton of fun, had some great recommendations, and made us all laugh. Additionally, the food was a perfect afternoon meal ahead of a much larger team dinner later in the evening.

The creative menu pairs perfectly with the creative atmosphere. Definitely a hotspot. Some of the best tuna I have ever had and the avocado toast on the brunch menu is phenomenal!

Sorry but we were disappointed. The redfish was to tough and dry I couldn’t eat it. That is not how to serve fish. Service was polite but lacking considering how empty the place was for our lunch. Menu was great but again just inedible

Wow what a great place to eat on my trip i ate here twice that’s how good it was . The first time i went with a strip steak and some sides let me tell you this was a steakhouse quality steak coming from a huge steakhouse live and steak eater this was one of my top 5 steaks ever. On the second visit i decided to go with the lobster scampi over meze rigatoni and that did not disappoint at all it was spot on delicious. I sat at the bar both night and the service was over the top and the drinks were great a must try.

The cocktail menu seemed pretty limited but I'm guessing they would also make other cocktails to order. Great decor and atmosphere. It's a great place to meet friends or just hang-out solo for a while. The diverse crowd makes for some interesting people watching. The ricotta toast was a nice light snack and the pleasant change from the usual chips and guacamole on the menu at most other bars. All they need now is a happy hour!

I had the Salmon Dinner. It was delicious. The portion size was just right, It lay on a bed of roasted kale with blistered tomatoes, spring peas. I'm not crazy about kale but it was good. The next morning we had breakfast and a again not disappointed. You have to try the kolaches, jalapeno or the pumpkin spice...just have them both.

Gosh, what a menu! Fabulous bartenders and great service. The cocktails are different and so amazing. You can choose to sit inside or out. There are rocking chairs &velvet lounges.

Took friend and his wife for his bday. The wife ordered champaign and came with no bubbles. Politely asked for a fresh one, all they did was pour another glass from the same bottle that was previously open. The 2 ladies shared the "10oz" steak. 2 very small pieces came each. Total would barely be 5 oz. Price was $65. Service was really slow. We had to ask for our food several times. I ordered the "big" shell with crab. Came with the tiniest of shells. We love the venue. Such a cool environment. I really expected a higher level of service and quality of food. My bill was over $350 for 4 prior to tip!

We stayed at a hotel around the corner. After two mornings we were tired of the hotel breakfast and decided to splurge on "real food." The menu here is varied - it includes a Power Bowl, Brisket Hash, quiche, pancakes and breakfast tacos. And more! Our server was delightful and the atmosphere was relaxed. This was an overall great experience.

Had a fantastic lunch with friends at Commons Club . Every dish was incredibly tasty, and the flavors were on point. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxed meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious lunch spot!
Too salty and less than caring service
Short rib was sooo salty and server did nothing in response to my comment about it being too salty besides an acknowledgement sound. We had to refill our own water since the server was not to be found. For Virgin brand I was so sad....Virgin Atlantic rocks but not this hotel's restaurant. We got pleasantly greeted entering and leaving the hotel.
