Nice little pub near Logan Square. We stayed at a hotel close by and came here for dinner on a Tuesday. The inside was nice but small. We sat outside the tables were large enough to fit 6 smaller sized adults. The service was a bit slow, but the food was really good, very large portions.

My husband and I had three delicious meals at Con Murphy's this week! Both Jeff and Evan were personable, fun and great servers!!! The Seafood Stew was to die for. Very reasonable prices!!!

We went for lunch and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating especially the bartender , Ashling. It was our first time in Philadelphia and she gave us excellent advice on places to visit. The prices were fair and the quality was perfect. I recommend the chicken salad wrap. We loved this place so much that we ended our trip with a goodbye drink here. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Had brunch delivered before check out. I had the waffles and chicken. It was great. Just remember to ask for condiments and dipping sauces

Quick and friendly service. Server knew the food and bev menu well and was able to answer questions. Food was perfect. Beer was really good.

Popped in for breakfast early Saturday morning. Cozy Irish pub with great food and service. Avocado toast was not what I was used to but I was pleasantly surprised.

Went here with colleagues last night Lovely food and drinks…. was then extremely shocked and disappointed at how rude the waitress was after asking for separate checks. She had a really bad attitude problem and was extremely stroppy making us all feel really uncomfortable. Even with separate checks we are still paying and tipping? Although she didn’t deserve a tip after her really unfriendly attitude towards us. Will not be returning to this bar and will inform colleagues to avoid miserable rude service.

After a day of visiting art museums and then walking around the City Hall area for some history, we were parched. And then we spotted Con Murphy's across the street! Greeted at the door, we took seats at the bar. And ordered a couple of local brews. It was a nice place to just sit and chat and enjoy our beers. Friendly and attentive bartender (who came running after us when she found my phone sitting on the bar!).

I was staying in the adjacent hotel and stopped in for breakfast. They are pretty small and had a lot of tables for larger parties - only a couple of smaller tables. I had the omelette and it was good - no complaints

Stopped here for a late dinner, and was greeted by friendly staff and seated outside. Food selection was good, typical bar foods with a few extras. The fish and chips were very good, cooked perfectly, light and crispy. Beer selection was good too and well priced. Outdoor seating was very nice, watching the city walk past. We enjoyed it so much, we had breakfast here couple days later and late drinks the following night!

Ate here 3 times in 4 days and food was always great. Loved the mac and cheese with short rib meat added. prices were very reasonable considering the location was right on Ben Franklin Parkway. Would definitely return if we are in Philly again.

A fine, comfortable, and friendly pub on the ground floor of Windsor Suites, convenient to all the art and science museums. My Black and Tan was well made and tasty, as was my wife's 21st Amendment watermelon beer. Her Caesar Salad with Salmon was very good, as was my Beet Salad with a (slightly burned) Crab Cake. Whiskey -- and whisky -- prices are unbelievably cheap: $8 for a Black Bushmills, for instance. Waitress was super and friendly, music was nostalgic, with a lot of Stevie Ray. Great place to hang out after a day of museums.

The service and food was very good. The grouper Piccata served with spaghetti squash and spinach was very very good with a lemon Caper sauce. The portion was quite large. The cold Smithwicks draft on the side was a perfect match! It's very convenient to the Sheraton Hotel downtown, Hanneman and the museum district. I liked it on a chilly Philly evening!

Good beer, atmosphere, food and service. We went a few times when staying at the nearby hotel and we really enjoyed it. We tried a few other restaurants near our hotel but ended up back here when we wanted to stay close. Perogies were excellent as was the Philly cheesesteak and brownie dessert!

Great menu, great choices. Decided on porridge. Filling and delicious. Real old fashion oats with Irish butter (higher butterfat ) and brown sugar ( just a 1/2 tsp for me). Also instead of coffee, tried Irish breakfast tea. Irish waiter told me “deep steep”. No kidding, strong. Thinking there was some Jameson’s in it 😊. No there wasn’t. Next time in Philadelphia, will stop in for a pint or two.

There were 10 of us, so the sampling of meals was broad: fish & chips, shepherd's pie, Guinness beef stew, etc. Everyone agreed that the food was edible but not particularly enjoyable. Everything (including jalapeno peppers on nachos!!) was sweet or sweetened, hardly traditional for Irish fare. Fries and fried fish were a dark brown and appeared to have been cooked in old oil. Much of several meals was left on the table. The best of the lot, to be fair, was the beef stew, in.a rich broth. Service, in contrast, was excellent.

We ended up going to Con Murphy's Irish Pub three times in two days. We went for afternoon drinks on May 31st....we sat at the bar chatting with the people there. We also returned for dinner and the live music which started at 8 pm. There was a good duo performing that night. The next night we also returned for some live music (which started at 9). The servers we had were excellent but the person who stood out the most was the greeter both nights (the same person). I just can't recall her name but she was excellent and even remembered us from the previous evening. Very impressive! I commented to the manager about what a great job she was doing! The greeter is a crucial position in a restaurant/bar because people's first impressions are very important! Great food, great service, great drinks, great value!

This place was amazing! The pierogies were super good and the Black and Tans were spot on. We went for dinner, loved it so much we went back the next day for lunch. Our server AnnMarie was the best! This place will be a must on any trip to philly I make!

A friend and I stopped for appetizers and drinks before a show at The Met Sunday night. From the minute we walked in we felt very welcomed. It’s a very cozy feel. We had Imani as our waitress who was very nice and attentive. Everything was great and I loved that I could watch the Eagles game while there.

What a great little gem in the middle of downtown Philadelphia. We were wandering and came across this Irish pub and thought we would try it for dinner and had a couple of great typical Irish meals including fish and chips and shepherd's pie. The shepherd's pie was to die for and I would certainly recommend it to anyone to try. The service was excellent and we had a lovely North Irish girl who was very chatty and friendly throughout the dinner. Certainly worth an excellent rating. The guy on the guitar was excellent and not so loud that we could still have a decent conversation.

I loved this restaurant , everything from the service to the food was amazing! I ordered the loading nachos and they were so good I completely forgot to take pictures. Great beer selection and super convenient location if you’re staying at the hotel.

We have eaten there for breakfast and dinner, and have always enjoyed their friendly service and excellent food.

This is a cozy pub near the Ben Franklin Parkway. There is a very authentic feel to it. We ordered pretzels and flatbread and both were delicious. Margaritas were quite tasty as well. The location is also great near parkway museums and is within walking distance of Suburban Station for access to Septa trains.

With a great covered patio on the street this is a fun place to grab a drink, appetizers, or a meal that won’t break the bank! Family friendly, good staff, clean bathrooms, and good variety on the menu. Limited parking in the area available if you drive.

Our party of 6.....3 generations....was happy with this choice of a meeting place for dinner. It was a bit noisy because we were seated near the upstairs bar, but once the food started coming, it did not matter. The beer selection was large and we were soon enjoying appetizers and drinks. (The roasted Brussel sprouts got rave reviews.) I chose a Mediterranean pasta, my husband went with an Irish pot pie, the college guys went with burgers, and the middle generations was happy with a healthy salmon dish and a delicious looking Reuben. ( Mediterranean, Irish, American and German!) Everyone...age 19 to 71...was pleased. I would suggest reservations, especially on a Friday night. Things were hoppin'. Since we were visiting our college age grandsons, we appreciated the fact that our waitress did not rush us. We would definitely return.

i should have looked at details on bill before paying. my wife was charged $2 for the ice in her drink Bailey's on the rocks. this is absurd. what is next? charging for the straws and napkins. been here before and its other irish place but never again

Every pub has great beer. This pub has great food to match. Family friendly and a good place to have a good time with your friends.

Excellent food and service. It was restaurant week so we went with that menu for the adults. I had lamb shank which was very good and a generous portion. My daughter had lobster Mac n cheese. The child had pierogi which she really liked. I was a little surprised to see them on the menu. Cocktails were a little pricy but it was very nice. We sat outside. My inky complaint was I would have liked to heard Irish Music not rock on the sound background.

Ate here for lunch and dinner while staying at adjacent hotel. Very convenient to hotel. Good food and drinks at a reasonable price. The hummus platter was very large---good bang for the buck! Good service as well!

We ate dinner here and came back two days later for brunch. The dinner was fine, but the brunch really stood out for us. If you order the pancakes, try their habanero maple honey syrup!

Spent the night at the Windsor Suites and ate at Con zmurphy for the convenience. Great place. Order chicken fingers and nachos to share. Do6know how the chicken tenders were as I ate too much of the nachos! They were some of the best nachos I have had. Service was good if a slow. We are not people that like to linger over our food. Husband had a Reuben and couldn't finish it because he couldn't stop eating the nachos either.

After a long hot day of walking, a late relaxing dinner convenient to our hotel was what we were looking for. Located within the Windsor Suites, Con Murphy's fit the bill. Two floors, well appointed. Husband ordered the Chicken Francaise which was delicious. I had the Baby Spinach salad with shrimp, which was tasty, just not enough there. Beers were lukewarm which we found odd for a pub. But the service was great and the 15% discount was a plus. Stopped in again the next morning for breakfast before leaving the city. Will go here again.

I went there with a group of 6 for dinner. I made reservations and we were seated immediately. Service was on point. Authentic Irish server! We got the prosciutto and gig flat bread as well as a shrimp dip. Both were fantastic. Most of my group ordered burgers and the burgers were stacked super high and very yummy. I thought the fries we’re actually freshly cut fries and very tasty as well. For those on a diet I really like the salad options, I got the Salmon special (orange glazed with veggies) and it was very good as well. Good beer menu as well I will definitely return.

A perfect place to eat on a cold November night. At about 4:30pm, our group of 5 called to make a 6pm reservation on a Saturday, and we were glad we did because we would have otherwise had to wait for a table. The inside is bigger than it would seem from the outside, but still, it was busy inside. As you would expect, there are some nice Irish options on the menu, and both the Shepherd's pie and the Beef Stew were very good. Perhaps less expected were the numerous Italian items on the menu. There were several kids options, including chicken tenders. The vegan eaters in our group didn't have much to choose from (the veggie burger is not vegan, not to mention it comes on a brioche bun with an egg wash), but the waitress was very kind to us and put together a veggie flatbread with marinara sauce (the pesto sauce is not vegan, and so it had to be replaced with a marinara sauce).

Came here for drinks and light bit. I really enjoyed the chicken tenders and fries. They where really good I like the garlic ailo the bar staff are friendly and great at asking if need anything my dad enjoyed the Guinness I had lovely lavender cocktail definitely coming back next in philly want try more food they do and cocktails

Hoping for a great Philly cheese steak. It was just ok. It came with fries. Well I liked the fresh cut...I think...but they must not have changed their oil in the fryer and the fries were really greasy. Just not a good experience. I will try them again as I think this time didn't reflect the true experience.

The atmosphere here is nothing special, nor is the food or service. But it is located right on Ben Franklin Parkway, which is convenient for tourists like us.

We went to Thanksgiving without a reservation and were quickly served. Delicious food. I ordered salmon which was delicious. Fillet dish is a very tasty stew too. Great service and without that "go fast" feeling typical of American restaurants. Good wine and good beer. 8 people ate one dish and drank 2 beers/wine each and it came out to USD 48/person with tips included.

After a day of sightseeing we were not super hungry, but stumbled upon Con Murphy's which had an appealing menu and wasn't terribly pricey. We split a few appetizers and made that a meal. I have never seen French Onion Dip listed as an appetizer on a menu before, and I highly recommend trying this with their house made potato chips. We also ordered chicken tenders done in a dry rub. I can honestly say these are some of the best chicken tenders I have ever had. They were extremely meaty and seasoned very well (great blend of spices). Our final appetizer was the pierogies which were also quite good. The only downside of our visit - we were seated just outside the bar area as they have a few tables on a landing area before heading upstairs, but the noise from the bar area traveled over to where we were seated. But I was very impressed with the food.

Great food - huge portions and tasted amazing! Our group loved everything we tried - the dry rubbed chicken tenders were a group favorite!

We enjoyed our meal. They accidentally brought my husband the wrong food but they quickly took care of the situation. The malt vinegar chips were great!

We were staying in hotel so good location for us. We ate breakfast and had 2 dinners here. Food was good, evenings there were bands and good music. The service was nice and friendly. Good place with a nice variety of options for eats!

Were staying nearby and walked by, thought it would be a good dinner choice and weren't disappointed. Has a somewhat Irish pub feel but large for that vibe. Menu has some typical Irish pub fare as well as other types of food. Portions were very large, definitely very filling. Not overly expensive. Our server was friendly, helpful, and professional. Nice decor and we had a great table in a somewhat secluded location, but it was still quite noisy at times making conversation somewhat difficult. Great location right off the Ben Franklin Pkwy and near public transit connections.

This was our second time eating here and will go back. The food is delicious, the staff are great and the atmosphere is so much fun!

My family really enjoyed our Bruch! Great friendly service. Outdoor seating was very nice. We were able to sit together as a family of six. The potato sound was so delicious. The Irish breakfast was very original and the place has an excellent varied brunch menu. We can’t wait to return.

Shocked at how few spots there are around the downtown area and I walked around a lot. Seat promptly, fast service, usually very crowded on good weather days...

Nice bar visited for St Patrick's weekend. Very pleasant staff in the upper bar. Irish ballad singer. Food was delicious Con Murphy house burger done as I liked and fries were delicious. Highly recommend this bar. Will definitely be back.

This was the perfect place for Thanksgiving eve dinner. We had two families with kids and were looking for a casual place to get some good bar food. Con Murphy’s did not disappoint. The food was excellent. The adults all got sandwiches with the exception of a beef stew. All meals were excellent. The fries were hand cut and delicious. The kids meals were all reasonable priced. The service was prompt and and meals were reasonably paced. Our server was attentive and made sure everything came out as ordered. The inside bar had live music which really set up a nice vibe for thanksgiving eve. Great job.

Nice Irish Pub with quality food, live entertainment. Try the pierogis (not irish but so what?). Shepherd's pie, chicken pot pie and burgers are excellent. Only one block from The Logan hotel, easy walk.

Good service for food and drinks. Free secure phone charging was great . Great burgers and fantastic Short rib Sambo. As an Irish visitor I would say the bar is missing a key ingredient to make it authentic in that there are no references to GAA/ Irish Rugby/ Irish musicians.. there is a wall with a Mural that could be better used to covey this. Irish soundtrack playing was good. As an American bar trying to be Irish it did well

After eating here for a few dinners, I finally had the chance to try their breakfast. It was really good!! I had the salmon eggs Benedict with spinach- it was really good! And the salmon was of beautiful quality. The servers were so sweet and so helpful and so attentive. They even offered me extra coffee to go when I was done! The prices were pretty average for what I got. I would definitely eat breakfast here again.

This was my third trip to Philly and 4th trip to Con Murphys. It’s is within walking distance of many hotels. The food is good and it’s a great place to grab dinner and a drink. Great beer selection of both on tap and bottles. They also have wine and liquor if you are not a beer drinker (the scotch selection looked pretty good!) Live music is loud and space is limited during peak times but it helps to make the experience unique and fun.

Excellent post wedding brunch in private upstairs area! Food was delicious and staff attentive. A fun atmosphere!

The title of my review pretty much sums up my opinion. My husband and I ate here for a Saturday afternoon snack and breakfast the following morning. The tables outside were full of happy diners so we sat inside at a high top table. Staff was friendly and professional, attentive but not intrusive. Menu offered a nice selection of items and a kids' menu. For snacks we chose cheesesteak egg rolls and a veggie flatbread pizza. Both were excellent. Egg rolls came with a yummy chipotle (I think) dipping sauce. My husband liked it so much he used it to dress the small arugula leaves the rolls were presented on! Flatbread on lavash was topped with grilled or roasted asparagus, mushrooms and tomatoes with pesto sauce and cheese. Menu said the cheese was mozzarella but my taste buds pointed to swiss or possibly smoked mozzarella. Whatever it was, the flavor was wonderful, perfectly complementing the vegetables. Other combinations of flatbread were available too. Next day at breakfast we tried the traditional eggs Benedict and the 2 egg American breakfast. Both came with home fries. The best home fries ever were medium-sized and tender on the inside, crunchy on the outside. Benedict was made with a thicker slice of Canadian bacon than the norm, which I appreciated, and the eggs were poached well. Tried my first pomegranate mimosa--so tasty! Prices were reasonable, food and service were great, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Don't hesitate to try Con Murphy's. I'm sure you will love it!

Had the fish and chips, pretty good. My wife and son also enjoyed their meals. And jus a short walk from the Embassy Suites.

Great food but very noisy. But I guess you expect that from a pub. In close proximity to the museums and adjacent to the Windsor suites

Daytime bartender makes an amazing Cosmopolitan! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Had fun music at night with dim lighting and candles made a perfect way to end our evening!

Ordered delivery to our room at the Windsor Suites. Food was quick and *delicious*. I had the cheesesteak! Opened the container and said "wow."

Arrived thursday 6pm. Place was half full, we loitered at door while staff chatted and eventually sat ourselves. Getting the beers was painful. Waitress took order but one bar man getting service for bar and tables. We had steak and chicken. Both were average at very best. The gravy on the steak was gross.. Re ordering beers was sluggish and painful. Atleast the bill came quickly....

We enjoyed a charcuterie board and a couple of cocktails at an outdoor table while watching all of the young people head to an outdoor concert down the street. Quite entertaining! The wine and beer selections were fine and we were pleased that the restaurant offered charcuterie.

Staying here at the Windsor Suites Hotel. Went here for a couple appetizers and a drink. The place is nice and convenient. They have an outside patio and live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Enjoyed the food, server was very good. Would come back if here again.

I normally avoid the Irish Pub when on holidays as I want local not home from home but this one was part of the Windsor Suites where we were staying and it was too late to go elsewhere. What a pleasant surprise. We had a number of small plates including a few different flatbreads. All delicious and fresh and light, perfect for a light bite. Two young guys singing Ben and Joe were fantastic. Not an Irish song in sight and lots of their own interpretation of well known hits but not the usual pub rollout. Great night all round

We ate here twice during our stay. The food was great. We did find the upper level to be noisy at night, making conversation difficult. However, we ate lunch here one day and sat on a mezzanine level and had no noise issue. The food and service were excellent.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, and had a great time. Quick, friendly service. Great drinks. Good food. Who could ask for anything more?

Nice atmosphere. Good service with average food. One person in the group had the fried chicken burger and it was very good. My salad was average. The chicken was dry and hard. Our waitress was very friendly and shared local spots to visit. I would definitely come back.

This restaurant was attached to our hotel, so it was an easy choice for us after a long day. The food and service were both great. My only complaint was that this Irish Pub only had a few Irish dishes on the menu.

We had the pleasure of dining at Con Murphy's this past weekend with a large group of family and friends! We found ourselves needing a last-minute venue and Con Murphy's was more than happy to accommodate us! The food and service were excellent! I can't say enough good things about our server/bartender Sean! His drinks were both beautiful and delicious! We can't wait to go back!

We had the Irish Beef Stew and the fried Grouper sandwich. Both were what you would expect for Irish pub food. Service was good.

Hat tip to Liam and the staff at Cor Murphy's in Philly, had a great breakfast, cooked perfectly, delivered promptly, super friendly staff, reasonably priced and all the day before St. Pats. What could be better? Slainte, Cor Murphy's, thanks for the visit and hospitality!

Con Murphy's Irish Pub has a nice sports bar atmosphere near several downtown hotels. I stopped by for the cheese steak sandwich followed by the chocolate brownie + ice cream dessert. All were reasonably tasty, although I've had better Philly cheese steak sandwiches. Service was prompt on a busy weekday evening.

Ate here twice—dinner and breakfast— and loved it. Service was great, food was excellent. They have a great makeshift outdoor seating area. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere was nice, waitresses were nice. Food was bad. I ordered a flatbread and it was literally “flatbread” about 1mm thick non existent bread. Where is the bread? Flatbread shouldn’t have to mean almost no bread. The French fries didn’t look good, like those undercooked homefries I can’t stand. My hubby and sister had the hamburger and it looked amazing but it was bland. Salad was decent. I tried a sample of the seafood chowder soup and it was horrible, tasted like vegetable broth soup with no seafood and chowder usually means creamy. I would not eat here again. I’d come for beer though, atmosphere is nice.

Horrible service. My waitress never checked on me. I wasn't pleased with a side order that I had gotten plenty of times before at other places and asked for it to be taken off the bill. If I had received better service I probably would have just paid the extra 2 bucks for it but since the service and the side order was bad I said forget that and requested it be taken off. The waitress who I had to make eye contact with while she was on the phone informed me that she took it off but normally you still have to pay for things you try even if you don't like it. I figured she had most likely said this because I was hesitant about getting a dish with black and white pudding so I had ordered a dish without it so in this case she was mistaken. If I want beans with no flavor that taste like someone opened the can and just heated them up in the microwave I could do that myself. When I go out to a restaurant Im looking for great taste and great service. The fact that there wasn't any pride taken in what they choose to create for people who are willing to pay them says alot and when I complained to someone who said they were a manager there was a bunch of fake empathy. My having to stop servers walking past me while doing other things or having to make contact with a server who has never checked in on me (and yes I was told by the manager that the servers work as a team which means that no one checked on me) does not count as service. Also it looked like I was the first customer there and when I left the restaurant was not busy enough to not get waited on.

This place was amazing from the telephone service to the ability and ease to deliver to the hotel room! Convenient and very affordable!

I had the scallops and they were ok. I was disappointed that they left the side muscles on and did not clean well enough. There was still sand in them. The sauce was a bit bland but ok and the zucchini could have been cooked a bit longer.

They have a good beer selection, and great casual food. We shared the chips & dip and the spinach & artichoke dip. The we had the Philly Cheesesteak, Reuben, Chicken Finges (huge and awesome), & burger. Everything was great...especially the service.

Pitched up in this Irish bar close to our hotel (Philadelphia 201) Great bar, food really good along with the Guinness ! Very friendly try the chicken tenders with hot spicy buffalo sauce they won’t disappoint.

Nice little pub not far from Philly City Hall which offers many dishes at attractive prices. We're in the mood: beers flowing freely, TV broadcasting sports, all with friendly service.

After a tiring day, a big bowl of Guinness Irish stew, bread and crab dip with naan, and of course Guinness, we were happily filled with warmth and memories of Ireland trips! Will return!

During our stay at The Windsor Suites we had breakfast at the restaurant every morning . Very nice and tasty. Perhaps a few more possibilities to choose from; we stayed here for 4 days, so got a little boring 🤪😅

The place had a few rooms and levels but it was cute and the service was quick and friendly, The food was average to be honest.

Visited 3 times during our 4 day visit to Philly Lovely evening meal upstairs first night nearly ruined by shouting girls on nearby table but our waitress Nichola kept us entertained. Two lads playing on mezzanine nice music Had lovely Irish Breakfast also it contains everything On our last night had another meal and great night watching the singer who was excellent Prices reasonable food excellent service quick

This is a great pub in a central location, family friendly, cozy and homey. Bar upstairs and downstairs. Our seating was exceptional with a private table with a city view (and boys had a TV with World Cup and football game). We came for the 3pm seating for Thanksgiving day. CM offers a Thanksgiving menu with a very reasonable $30 for a Thanksgiving plate with turkey, gravy, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans and cranberry! Everything was delicious! Also other items on the menu for those wanting other food. The food was all fantastic and our server was so sweet and thorough! Our meal was reasonable around $200 for family of 5. Thank you for being open and offering meal options for those of us in town to support our marcher in the parade and having to spend Thanksgiving away from home. We had a great Turkey Day and your establishment helped! Well done!

Went here twice,1st night food and service was very good if i never went back would have rated this place excellent.I think we were served by the manager/owner a lovely Irish lady.Because it was good we went back and second visit was pretty disappointing, sat upstairs and was pretty much forgotten, service was terrible and food nowhere near as good. Shame really

My son and I had lunch at Con Murphy's and the food was excellent. We really enjoyed the atmosphere as well and the staff were so friendly. Would love to go back on our next visit!

A regular for those after work collaboration sessions with the team. Has been a "go to" for business lunches and dinners, and a favorite of the family when they come into town. The managers and staff have always been accommodating for our special requests.

It was late and raining out when we arrived. We had attended a concert in the area that ended a little late. We planned to eat a late dinner here because of location as well as menu. We arrived at 9:45pm. The live music was loud. Almost as loud as the bar patrons downstairs! We awkwardly waited for the hostess to appear. It took her more than 5 minutes to arrive. As we watched the disinterested waitresses ignore us, my other half and I exchanged glances as if to say "Do you really want to eat hear?" The hostess finally arrives and methodically asks if we are here to "drink" , "eat" or "both". We are then seated upstairs which is still not far enough away from the loud music downstairs It wouldn't have been so bad if an Irish pub had Irish music instead of acoustic guitar/vocal renditions of today's lamest hits. Alas, I digress! The hostess handed us the late night bar menu before she left. Our waitress promptly arrived to take out drink orders. The menu, as expected, offered typical burgers and fries simplicity. We had a Philly cheesesteak for lunch and just didn't want that type of food again. I mean the full menu was supposed to be offered for another 10 minutes! When our waitress arrived to take our order, we explained the circumstance and would just pay for our drinks and leave. She understood and say she wouldn't charge us for the drinks, which was nice. She turns around and offers to ask the kitchen if they will take our orders from the regular menu anyway. She comes back with menus and we quickly order the Ploughman's plate and Shepherd's pie. They arrived in a reasonably short amount of time and were well portioned, They were both tasty, but not over the top fabulous. The moral of the story of is this. Our waitress took a bad situation (for us) and totally turned it around. This is why I love Philadelphia. Hospitality!!! So, go to Con Murphy's and I hope your experience is as good as ours.

Had a GREAT time at Con Murphy's. My wife is in a wheelchair and access was easy through the hotel it is attached to. An elevator to the second floor dining area was convenient, and we were escorted making it easier. Greeted enthusiastically at the hostess desk by Toya who was also our server. Toya was fantastic, personable, professional, and had an attitude that ensured we enjoyed every moment of our dinner. We were there celebrating our 30th anniversary weekend. Toya, another server Ziherara (sp) were both fun, joining in with our celebration and conversation, and the Manager, wish I remembered her name, stopped by to wish us a happy anniversary and to buy us a celebration cocktail. Perfect. Service was outstanding, food was very enjoyable, atmosphere was fun and we loved every moment. We laughed, we cried, it was better than "Hamilton"! A couple days later we topped off our stay in Philadelphia with a surprise! They do take out Cocktails!! We ordered a few, and I walked a block and a half from our hotel to the pub to pick them up!! BRILLIANT!! Thanks to everyone at Con Murphy's for making a great weekend in Philadelphia more special than we could ask for. Sláinte

The pub is attached to our hotel. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. I really did not care for the dessert. They have a good sample of happy hour items. The staff was on point.

I had the beet salad to go with a crab cake. The beet salad was very good. The crab cake had great breading... lots of breading. Very little crab. I suggest the beet salad with salmon or shrimp. The crab cake is really bad.

Packed with college kids, still great service, decent food, guy on guitar was good, great late nite stop

Staff were very attentive and polite. Selection was very good, as was the service. Quality of food was very good. Visited for both dinner and breakfast. Pub has two floors and the upper floor can be accessed from the Windsor Suites hotel. Beware there are TV screens all over the bar, which can be very distracting. That said, would certainly recommend

Go there for breakfast. It is tremendous. The food is wonderful, but their coffee is even better. I have eaten there for dinner before and it is amazing. Great fish ' chips with creamy cole slaw. I have eaten there about ten times and wish I lived closer to stop more often When in center city Philadelphia I always stop there.

Con Murphy’s was a short walk from our hotel. The service was excellent. The food was delicious and the servings were generous. My husband always orders fish and chips whenever we go to Irish restaurants.Con Murphy’s fish and chips is one of the best we’ve had.

Six nations rugby on the tv, friendly hostesses, genuine Irish stew, and draft Guinness! What's not to like and a great intro for my son minus the Guinness. Beautiful weather made it possible to sit outside which added to the enjoyment. Thoroughly recommend!

A small venue, located in building with Windsor Suites, Irish pub-style. Food is very good, especially the Philly beefsteak and shepherd's pie. Too noisy for my style.

Visited Con Murphy's for my husband's birthday. The food was spectacular. The service was exceptional. Complements go to all involved in our visit. Highly recommend visiting this establishment.

This Irish Pub was open early for a world cup soccer morning match. Besides serving up morning drinks like Mimosas & Bloody Mary's they also make a traditional Irish breakfast. Service was quick & attentive too. The pub was split into a cozy street level pub with outdoor cafe seating with additional seating upstairs too but away from the street.

We were in Philadelphia for an overnight and made reservations for Con Murphy's. We arrived on time and were immediately taken to our table. My Wife had a House Salad as an entrée and I had the Fish & Chips, my Wife loved her salad, my fish and chips were OK, the fish was nothing special by the chips, actually French fries were exceptional. I had a very, very good Guinness. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The only drawback was that we probably should have eaten outside as the place was extremely loud and difficult to hold a conversation.

The menu isn't very "Irish" considering the name, but there was a nice variety of food, and we all enjoyed what we ordered. But it took so long to pay that we timed it. Less than an hour. We decided not to go back the next day due to the wait.

Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Staff was great and food was delicious. One of the highlights to our trip. Very accommodating to our large group

I ate here one evening whilst staying at the Philadelphia 201. It is a pleasant Irish pub with some good beers and the food is also quite good. I had the gnocchi with crab and sun dried tomatoes and it was really good. It’s not gonna set the world on fire, but it exceeded my expectations!

Go for a beer or a drink but if you are interested in a well kept restaurant, this is not the place for you. It was not as clean as it should have been. My flatbread came on a board that looked like it had been through the ringer. The decor was very shabby and the stairs to the second floor were dirty. There was nothing welcoming or warm about the place, and there was nothing about the presentation of the food that was appetizing. Waitstaff service was adequate. I was eager to leave.

This bar / restaurant inside the Windsor Hotel is a popular after-work spot, as one can tell from the noise level. We were lucky enough to be seated on the second floor, away from the din. Our waitress was very pleasant, not pressuring us as we drank little and ate only two appetizers. The margarita was disappointing and rather weak. The Fried Cauliflower was delicious, crispy and well-seasoned. The nachos dish had all the components to make it wonderfully disgusting, as nachos should be.

I had the pleasure of stopping here for a few drinks and a snack recently. The barmaid was excellent, the cilantro, lime, chicken quesadilla was very tasty and the beer and liquor selection was great. At night, they had live music which was so loud as to inhibit conversation. The bar got a bit crowded as the space is limited but never to the point of being a nuisance.

Great Dinner with Guinnes !!! Excelente Staffs, yumi Hamburguers and Guinnes to drink. Great Night!!!! The Music is motivating and The atmospheres of The placê is contagious. The could weather outside invite you to stay and get warm drinking, listening music and having good talking. The fries are very dry and Crispy. We had chicken fingers too...Very good. The price is normal.

Our waiter Connor remembered one of the people in our party, and took excellent care of us. The fish tacos, Mac n cheese, burger were all just right. Great atmosphere, outdoor seating .

We stopped at Con Murphy's because we were tired of walking and wanted something quick and comfortable for an early lunch. We found it at Con Murphy's. The menu had plenty of options for anyone looking for pub fair and a good range of beers on tap. The servers were kind and, although some municipal workers took over the bar on a hot Friday afternoon, it was still a comfortable place to enjoy the day.

We recently visited this bar a 3 or 4 times on our recent visit to Philadelphia. Overall our experience was fine we did eat there once and the food was good. On our last visit though we just wanted a drink. There was no room at the bar and all the tables appeared to be occupied and we could not find a server. We were staying at the Windsor Suites so we got our drinks and decided to take them to our room as we had seen other guests do. We were just stepping into the the lift when we could hear someone shouting us to stop. We were then approached by a server from the bar who proceeded to give us a dressing down for taking their glasses out the bar as these never get returned and cost the bar money. When we explained we had seen others do this she offered us a plastic glass. Now this was obviously our mistake as we thought the bar was part of the hotel which is a simple mistake to make, but we honestly would have returned the glass the following day. We just feel this was an over reaction and could have been dealt with with a little more tact. It just spoilt what had otherwise been a good experience.

OMG. WHAT A FUN PLACE TO VISIT! We happened on to this place prior a major summer storm. We sought refuge for dinner and maybe a beer afterwards. Great food. Great service. And the bar was SO much fun. Gareth, the bartender, was excellent. He was engaging and attentive and made the night special for so many of us. If you are looking for a fun night - check this place out. You won’t regret it. They also have live entertainment which, tonight, was also excellent. Enjoy!

GREAT breakfast. Very nice and friendly staff. Great Atmosphere. Love going there for any meal. Not bad prices either

It's a good location for visitors, and an interesting layout. There's not much "Irish" about the menu, but the food is very good.

I really liked this place. I was here with some Irish friends who were visiting so of course they gravitated toward an Irish pub! The pints were lovely, the happy hour specials were great, and the food was delicious! We sat indoors but there was nice outdoor seating as well.

Immediately seated and enjoyed the great service outside on the covered terrace. Great beer list. Enjoyed very plentiful (and delicious) servings of Shepherd's Pie and Guinness Beef Stew. Fun place for dinner.

We loved this place. The atmosphere was great and the food was not pretentious. It was just simple and delicious. We stopped here on a whim and we were so glad that we did. The whole rest of the trip this was the place that we compared all other restaurants to, the others came up just a bit short. We would definitely stop here again on a return visit.

Very happy with my meal. Fish and chips were very good. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Recommend!

The place is popular, it was buzzy and crowded We were lucky to get a table However we found teh food disappointing, and a lot of what we ordered was left uneaten, we did think that most people were threr to socialise and drink rather than eat This was a surprise to us as this format of restaurant usually opearte toa good quality The service was haphazard, but I am certain that this was because teh waiting staff were rushed off their feet

We visited con murphy's.me and my girlfreind and my 85 year old mother. Restaurant was nice.and freindly staff. Only problem food portions big my mother could only eat small portion. My mother had the me meat and vegetable pie.me also.it was big. Another thing.manager and i think GM.where doing there work by the bar. This should be done in the office.not in front of people eating .

Food was good, try the Murphy fries! Atmosphere was cool and the drinks were tasty. Also ordered dessert, which didn’t disappoint. Overall great experience. Definitely worth a stop.

While in Philly the car show, stopped into Con Murphy’s for brunch. The menu had a wide array of choices. I chose breakfast while my husband chose lunch. Our meals were well prepared, our server was extremely attentive and the atmosphere was so welcoming. We will be back!

Con Murphy's is located in The Windsor Suites and has two levels. I visited for drinks and dinner and had a Bloody Mary and a bowl of potato bacon soup. My friend and I shared the cheesesteak egg rolls as an appetizer. Those things are delicious and dangerous! I'd eat them for every meal if I could. Our server, Latoya, was the sweetest! I left my phone behind on the table (I've never left my phone anywhere) and didn't realize it until I returned to my hotel. She was honest and turned it in. I appreciate her hospitality and menu recommendations.

We picked this restaurant randomly on a Google Maps "search this area" upon our arrival in Philadelphia. The menu looked interesting so we figured why not? Run, do not walk, to visit this establishment. The food was perfect but the staff was an even better experience. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel welcome and everyone from the hostess, to our server, to the food runners seemed to only be concerned that we had everything we could have wanted. The Cheesesteak Egg Rolls were some of the best we've ever had. We've had this appetizer at several different restaurants, and have sometimes been disappointed with the results, having been either dry, way too crispy (over done honestly) or tasteless. These were perfectly fried, had plenty of flavor and the side sauce had the right amount of zing without being overwhelming. We picked the Chicken Francaise and and the Blackened Shrimp Risotto for our entrees. Both were deeply satisfying and filling. We really enjoyed our meal and plan to visit at least once more before our vacation is over.

I only had coffee & oatmeal here for a quick breakfast & the oatmeal was good, coffee was terrible in my opinion but the husband liked it. He had a larger breakfast and enjoyed it. It seems to be attached to a hotel although we didn't notice until we were leaving, smaller seating area but a decent breakfast for the area.

Irish pub but also has a fairly large menu with your normal pub food choices and some food choices you wouldn’t normally find on a pub menu. Portions here are large. Had the fish and chips, which were great. Strange presentation with the filets stacked on top of each other and held together with a toothpick but didn’t care once I started eating it. Nice crunchy batter but the batter wasn’t too heavy and the fish inside was not over cooked. First floor entry has a small bar and a few tables. Most tables are on the second floor. First floor gets LOUD in the evening, so be prepared to raise the volume when talking. If coming with a large group, I believe you can call ahead and reserve a table. Service was efficient, if not very friendly. One thing that bothered me was that after the server refused to split the bill four ways (server claimed this is restaurant policy, which is the restaurant’s right and I don’t have a big problem with) but a 20% tip was already added to bill when presented for payment (even though our group size was only 5). Just watch out for that; not sure if this is standard practice.

We were staying at the Windsor and this bar in same building. Terrific atmosphere and beers. Food was very good as well. Will visit next time we are there.

Comfortable pub with table service and friendly servers. You can make a reservation which is essential if on a busy night. The food was okay but expensive for what you get. I had a beer and a lamb ragu pasta dish. Price before tax and tip was $35. Seems expensive for a bowl of linguine and a Guinness compared to other pubs in the city. It's on the parkway so convenient to museums which I suppose is why they have tourist pricing.

We ate here because we were staying in the Windsor Suites (it's attached on the ground floor) and we were very pleased. Both the egg dishes and the burger were quite good. The service was friendly and prompt and the atmosphere suitably pub-like.

We enjoyed our Happy Hour/Dinner at Con Murphy's. It was starting to snow and it was the perfect spot to get a great meal, watch the snow, and grab a drink. Service was good. Food enjoyable. Its a great location if you're out and about in Philly.

Stayed at the Windsor for business and ordered from them a few times. The food was always ready when I came to pick it up and the staff was very pleasant.

Stayed in hotel upstairs the Windsor so had drinks here a few times. It was very friendly pub with a good drinks selection and tasty snacks at a reasonable price . Very good

I travel to town each week, so I look forward to eating here twice each trip. All the menu items are delicious - ranging from the Shepherd's Pie, Philly Steak to the Chicken Caesar Salad. Sit at the bar - much quicker service. All of the bartenders are very responsive and friendly.

Beware of the Eggs Benedict. The sauce and Canadian Bacon were under cooked and cold. There is no bread or toast with it and it is expensive for what you get. The service is mediocre as we needed to search for our waitress to get the check. My daughter’s omelette was no big deal either. I’ve owned a restaurant for many years and this needs to be a better breakfast.

Been here many times whilst in Philly on business. Good atmosphere, decent food and a warm welcome. Service is quick and attentive. And the Guinness is very good!

Typical Irish pub. Already early open for breakfast. In the evening a great place to visit. Friendly staff

The restaurant ambience is good, options are limited. I visited the restaurant almost 7-8 times for breakfast as I was staying in Windsor suits and they have given breakfast option with Con Murphy. On most of the occasions , I found staff to be arrogant and uncourteous.

All staff , hostesses, servers, and bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend going and enjoying a pint and some great food.

I love Con Murphy's. I've been going here for a few years now and I always go back for the same things: the buffalo wings or the turkey burger with a side of guac. The food is always excellent and the taste of each meal stays consistent which is the main reason I always come back to this Pub. It's also in a gorgeous part of the city along Ben Franklin Parkway which is a plus. The drink menu is also good and the beer list changes at a decent rate. If you're looking for lunch or dinner after a trip to the Art Museum or the Franklin Institute - head to Con Murphy's!

Everything was lovely - the food is very, very good! Don't know how those servers do it, running up and down the stairs all night! Fish and chips are yum!

We loved eating here! The atmosphere was wonderful,. The food was amazing! The service was great. We had nothing to complain about.

While we didn’t have a reservation the hostess took our name and said it would be a 45 minute wait. We went upstairs to the bar area and had some drinks. After over an hour wait, we then approached the hostess who stated to us at least another hour and and half wait - really what was the purpose of taking our name??? By the way, there were plenty of empty tables throughout the pub. She told me those are for reservations. So I guess giving your name over an hour before doesn’t count!!! Beware....

Never visited the restaurant and have been to Philly many times what an awesome place!!! Food is delicious and vegan friendly Customer service is exceptional.

We took a last-minute overnight trip to Philly and needed a place to eat in between arriving at the hotel and going on our first adventure so we took a two-block walk and stumbled upon this place. We had our toddler with us, so were a bit hesitant that it was a pub, but it worked out great. Though the place was packed, we were seated immediately. The waitress was kind, the service pretty speedy, and the food tasty. Win!

Visited both in the evening and for breakfast. Evening is very vibrant and very good for beer! Breakfast was BIG! Very good selection of food and most importantly the selection of British dishes were well received.

We stopped on a Sunday at 3 pm, and based on the menus out front, expected the lunch menus, but were given the dinner menus. I got the Chorizo burger, which was very tasty. Although I asked for fries, I was given chips with my burger. My wife got the special salmon burger. It was incredibly plain. Nothing to jazz it up in the least. Our friend got the fried chicken sandwich, which was also good. Smithwick’s on tap were good, at $6.50 a pour.

We enjoyed a festive Thanksgiving dinner in this family-friendly Irish Pub located in the Windsor Hotel. My wife has a small appetite, and they were flexible, serving her a child’s portion of the traditional Thanksgiving dinner which was more than enough. I enjoyed a delicious Guinness Beef Stew with a side of Jameson’s. Plenty of beef, but a bit light on carrots and potatoes. Service was quick and attentive. Highly recommended!

My son and I had dinner here. Our food was delicious. The waitress was very friendly. When my son didn't like the drink he'd ordered, she took it, made him something else herself and served it with a smile and no charge! And finally, I left my credit card when I paid, and even though they were already closed when I called, someone met me at the street door to give me my card! Great service! Will always come back here!

This place is attached to the Windsor Suites so it is very convenient. It also has a great breakfast and good drinks to enjoy at night. It looks small when you go in but it has roomier seating upstairs.

We arrived in Philly not really sure what to expect regarding food. This was the most perfect “Philly” cheese steak! Also, don’t miss the cheese steak egg rolls! Ty to our server Bill!

Was in town to visit our son and celebrate my husband's 4th of July birthday. Was staying at the Embassy Suites right down the street, and even though the hotel has a nice, filling breakfast available, we wanted to do brunch on the 4th, wanted a place within walking distance of the hotel and found this restaurant; the food was very good; nice and attentive waitress; enjoyed sitting outside; nice view; our daughter really enjoyed the mimosas more though I believe, ha!

Stopped by one evening as this is one of the few pub restaurants really close to the Sheraton. Friendly staff and decent food and drink.

Brunch was amazing and downhill after that. Reuben the next day was sweet and soggy fries. Bad service Sunday at the bar.

Attentive service, delicious Shepherd's Pie! Don't skip dessert. The blueberry cheesecake is amazing! All the staff were friendly. Definitely recommend this pub. Very easy walk from our downtown hotel.

This is a slice of Ireland in center city. The decor is interesting with bottle apps from all over the world displayed. I had shepherds pie and on another occasion had corned beef and cabbage. Excellent and made you feel the culture of Ireland. Top it off with some Gillians stout and your Irish experience is complete.

Excellent location. Great selection of drinks, especially whiskeys. Bartender was great with us. Nice place next to our hotel

Was here with my parents and enjoyed the food and beer. 3 fresh dishes and Softdrink or beer for under 60 dollars. Would go there again

My family was recently in Philadelphia. This was one of the only saving graces of our trip, the rest of the trip was a disaster. This pub was just down the street from our hotel, so we stopped in the night we arrived because it was close & we were starving. All of our meals were fantastic, along with the service. We had the fish & chips, chicken sandwich, burger & the Shepard's pie, they were all fantastic! The server helped my husband with the beers for his flight, she was very knowledgeable. A couple of nights later we ended up going back because it was so good the first time. We've already recommended this pub to numerous friends who were going to the city.

A lovely local pub with good food and a nice area to sit out in. Was on my own one Saturday night, as a visitor to the city and felt very comfortable here

If you want a great Irish Pub with live music (at least on the weekends) this is the place to be. It's crowded and noisy, but the food cannot be beat. My sisters and I ate here the very first night in Philly & then we walked around Love Park and saw some of the city at night.

The food was delicious and the staff was friendly, professional and accommodating. The menus for both breakfast and lunch were great and had choices to satisfy both vegetarians and carnivores.

Food was average. Bartender and other staff are terrific. Location is good. The burgers looked incredible. Steak/potatos were medicore.

While staying at Windsor suites Con Murphy is an ideal breakfast place. Their pancakes are good also avocado toast are tasty. The food portion is decent .Service and restaurant seating is nice.

Evenly fried fish with just mediocre fries...the wife said her cheesesteak was just right (she's usually pretty picky so...see photo!?). Professional, quick waitressing.

We stayed at the Windsor and ate at Con Murphy on site. The food was pretty good - we ordered the Greek flatbread, and a couple of items off the kids menu. It is a pub atmosphere in all respects, but not too intense for the kids.

This was definitely a good laid back time! The bar food was great! Our server made sure our drinks were always full and very attentive. The live music was pretty good! Thanks for the *NSYNC tribute 😂
Top sandwich
Great place, very cute and quaint Irish pub, excellent sandwiches with very good meat compliments I recommend it to everybody
