Only in Vegas for a week but enjoyed the food enough to return a few days later. The pasties are a great alternative to a plate full of food, with some unusual fillings that taste divine. I enjoyed the roast dinner on the first occasion and all day breakfast the next time and thoroughly enjoyed both. Others in the group had lamb & mint, chicken tikka, sausage and mash there was ample choice to suit all tastes. The bar was well stocked with ale from far and wide although we felt the drinks were a bit expensive. I would go again.

Four of us had lunch here on April 11th. We all ordered different pasties and we all loved them. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and it tasted just like the meals I get in British pubs.

I was heading out of Vegas and wanted to grab a to-go lunch and the cornish pasties seemed liked the best idea. I had never been here and had no idea how big or small so ordered a bunch to sample - all from the vegetarian menu. There were some listed online that the restaurant did not have, so out of the ones they did have i ordered the cheese + onion, the original, the peanut butter and jelly, the broccoli and cauliflower cheese bake and the bread. first, the portions are HUGE so one generally feeds a person for lunch & dinner. second, the flavor is good with lots of veggies and fillings, but the potatoes need to be cooked more. the accompanying homemade hop sauce was fantastic, the bread portion was huge and the peanut butter and jelly was good (much better warm and this was the only one that did not hold up, taste wise, the second day) overall, great cornish pastry with huge portions and good flavor

I’m in love with the chicken tikka pasty. It’s the eighth wonder of the world. My wife had the vegan pasty and I tasted it — I could not believe it was vegan. This place is incredible. I even got some pasties to go for my freezer! You won’t regret coming here. Jeff M.

Had a really good meal here. It was my first experience having a Pasty. I will be back to try the many selections.

My wife and I were headed to another restaurant when I spotted the sign and made a quick u-turn. The restaurant had reopened at this location the day prior and it was obvious the move was a work-in-progress. A wide variety of pasties are offered with us deciding to share one filled with lamb, mint, potatoes, rutabaga, and onion that was accompanied by a side of red wine gravy. The pasties are prepared in batches and then baked to order. The pastry shell was flaky with an ample filling that was complimented by the gravy. This proved to be a satisfying lite lunch.

Since our trip to London where we had some very yummy Cornish pasties, we always will stop off and try one if we find one anywhere. Happened to be in this complex having dinner at the Lotus of Siam and heard that this pasty shop was there. Picked up a couple to have the next day - must say they were very yummy. Do note that these pasties are huge, I was not able to finish one myself. We got the standard beef pasty and reheated it the next day and it was still very good. If you are looking for some good British pasties, come check out this place.

We first came to try their food when this was located elsewhere, I thought their food was unacceptably too salty. It was awful. A few years passed. I was willing to give this place another try at its current location. Their food is and continues to be excellent. On this visit, we ordered their Sherperd's Pie and shared it we my spouse, which was very flavorful, I would like the crust to be delicately flaky, but this is not the case. It's still very good. We had another person with us that needs a gluten-free meal, ordering a soup of the day, a half order Greek salad and Salmon added on top. He said his there was too much food and all very good.

This rundown shopping center east of the strip and south of Sahara is full of great food. Get past to looks and pull open the door of any of a number of restaurants here. The Cornish Pasty Co. Is one of the most startling examples. Pull open its '70s style aluminum grocery store doors (tinted black) into a lovely pub out of the British Isles. There are tractor seat bistro stools with wood and glass abounding. The scene is subdued lighting and numerous beer taps on the bar c which dominates the space. This is a full bar but the menu is great. A pasty is kind of a calzone without the pizza innards and generally focused more on meat and potatoes. I had the bangers and mash pasty which is sausage and mashed potatoes with onions. Terrific! There must have been 3 dozen varieties of pasties that included vegetarian options. One I will return to try contained chicken, feta and sun-dried tomatoes. This is walking distance (4-5 blocks) east of the north end of the LV Monorail and easy to get to. It is cool and comfortable. Stop in for a beer and a pasty! Oh, don't want to sit there and eat it? They can make it to-go or they will par-bake it with instructions on how to finish it at home (or your vacation condo) it is really good food.

We very rarely return to a restaurant when traveling, but we couldn't resist returning to Cornish. We had the same excellent server Shanon on both visits and he was quite accomodating (he even remembered us when we returned over 2 weeks later). We tried the pastys each time: so we had Shepard's pie, chicken pot pie, reuben and cajun chicken. All excellent and very filling, my husband who rarely has a 'too go box,' took one both times. Also, great reheated. Good selection of wine and lots of variety of beer on tap.

I visited in November 2021. I arrived early for lunch and was the the first customer. I was not immediately seated which was frustrating. The server provided a menu and a glass of water. I immediately ordered the Meat and Cheese. After around 20 minutes, it arrived. It was hot and crispy right out of the oven. I chose the creamy mustard sauce. The pastry was very delicious. The server failed to check on me during the 30 minutes I gobbled up the pastry however.

We have eaten here several times and the food is always delicious! All of the pasties that we have tried have been wonderful, the garlic oven chips are great, and the broccoli & cauliflower cheese bake is amazing! The service was good and attentive. Every time we dine here, I'm reminded why we keep coming back!

We had dinner at Cornish Pasty Co. and really enjoyed ourselves. It's situated in an old warehouse, and has a fun industrial vibe. The food is fabulous! A pasty is a traditional Cornish fold over meat pie - I had the Guinness stew pie. It was wonderful! Others in my party had the Shepherds pie, andI one of the vegetarian options. All delicious- large portions , flaky pastry and fresh made in the open kitchen. Excellent beers on draft , I had a very nice Moscow Mule. Plenty of seating- would be a great place for a large party! The prices are extremely reasonable, service was great! Definitely recommend !

I don't necessarily regret trying Cornish Pasty Co, but I don't need to go back. My family and I love pasties, as it was a food we ate all over England. We ordered the Mexican, the Meat and Cheese (or something close), and the cheeseburger one. I enjoyed the Mexican and my son liked his meat and cheese, but we didn't like the Cheeseburger one. Too many ingredients are stuffed into the pasty. Yes, I know that is what a pasty is, but the fries really should have been on the side, not inside. *Maybe* I could imagine this restaurant in London (of course the American version is much bigger), but it was a little too hipster to truly feel authentic.

This is a great place to eat. They have the best food! You can get about any flavor pasty imaginable, from salmon, chicken, steak, lamb, veggie, or vegan. Or if you dont like pasty’s, you can get get soup, salad, cheese plate, or go straight for the apple pie! Everything is made fresh in house, so sometimes it takes awhile to get your food- but totally worth it! Also a good selection of beer on tap.

An end of the weekend treat. A great place to come. Never been disappointed on previous visits. A few good things besides the pasties and desserts is. There are no televisions or slot machines that plague Las Vegas bars that must mean trade is good and profitable. Deserves more than a 4 star.

What an absolute let down this was here tonight. We ordered fries and roast potatoes with our mains but they came out with the starters we asked our server Mae to return them as we didn't want them until our pasties came out to which she replied she can't really send them back but could hold them back to which we said no we wanted fresh with our main as ordered. Low and behold when our mains came out so did our old portions of fries and roast potatoes. We had to send them back as they had been reheated and were awful she did apologise and said she would take them off the bill. On the menu it states the fries were homemade, I am sorry but these were not homemade. As a cornish person visiting from the UK this was shocking. I was still eating my main course when I was asked if I wanted a pudding , surely its polite to wait for someone to finish their main before being asked. One of our party had a pudding but it seemed to take half an hour to bring a sticky toffee pudding out? This was our second and last visit here. We have tried to find a email contact but there is nothing on your website why?

This restaurant is totally great. The food is wonderful and lots of veggie options. Great staff. When we were there, they were short staffed so our waitress kept apologizing while providing excellent service. The feel of a real authentic place. And while you are in the neighborhood – go and see some art!

I have never had a pasty before but my cousins have been to the restaurant several times and since we had gone to the theater tonight they suggested this restaurant. I loved how the seating was actually pews. It has a nice bar area and all the food is made fresh. I had a traditional pasty called the Oggie. Very delicious. I would definitely come back to try more options.

First! The place was difficult to find and it felt as though I was driving around in circles for a good ten minutes, even though it was probably only about one. I do not recommend putting it into iPhone Maps, you will get lost. Second! Oh my goodness. I honestly do not know where to start. The food was great and the atmosphere is the perfect bar scene. So the food. Traditionally speaking, the oggie is the way to go. Steak, potatoes, and onion perfectly wrapped up like a giant hot pocket. Baked to perfection with the right amount of butter on top so the crust was nice and flakey. The atmosphere was strange. It would make the perfect bar scene. I will definitely come back during happy hour for a beer or two.

Word of mouth brought us here and we've been back over and over plus passing on the word to friends. (We never would have found it just by passing.)The food is soooo delicious and the beer is great. The people are cool and the music is perfect. The worst of it is that they get very busy and they need more tables. We've tried so many of the different choices and recommend every one!! We now crave it all the time. Really nice people and wait staff is friendly. Worth a stop.

For Mother's day we bought 7 different "half baked" cornish pasties to bake at home - and enjoy with my English born mother-in-law. We baked all 8 together for 25 minutes at 425. All the individual pasties were quite large with exceptional flavor. On the down side, price was higher than anticipated at $95 including tip. Another important fact is that restaurant is located in a sketchy neighborhood with no designated parking. We found a spot on the street 3 blocks away...and we were happy we had not brought Mom along.

Should be a must visit when in Las Vegas. The new location is centrally located and large, but it does get crowded. Great selection of Pasty's, all fresh and made to order. Something for everyone.

We love English pasties, and the food here was superb. They have a TON of options regardless of your palette, and they are all delicious. They have a great beer selection also, including sour beers which can be VERY difficult to find. Small, dark pub atmosphere, loads of fun, great service. You WILL have a great time here! Heard they are considering knocking down the wall and expanding next door as well. I hope they do, this place is magnificent and deserves to grow!

I am always searching for the perfect Cornish Pasty. They are either too dry or the taste is bland. My search has found a score...............without a doubt the Cornish Pasty Co is the one to beat. While in Vegas, I made a point to search out this place to find it tucked in a large but unassuming strip mall minutes from the strip. Turns out this is a sort of bar/restaurant with an eclectic staff and patronage but don't let that fool you. I was greeted by an attractive barkeep that gave me a menu listing every pasty imaginable. She stated the "Oggie" was the traditional Cornish pasty so I ordered 2. You can get these fully cooked or partially cooked and take them home to prepare as you like. Of course I wanted mine now! The wait was 15 minutes so she offered me water to soothe excited my taste buds. When the order was ready I took them back to my hotel for the tasting and all I can say is Cornish Pasty Nirvana! (imagine Guy Fieri's this is so good face) These are exactly as I remember from England, flaky crust filled with chunks of steak, potatoes, onion and rutabaga. Damn this is good! If you are a traditional Cornish Pastie fan you much try the Oggie. Very Highly Recommended!!!

All I can say is wow. I noticed this place a few weeks ago because it is next to our favorite Thai restaurant. I kind of put it on the back burner until Brit friend of mine went with his wife and told me how good and authentic it was. So off we went, my wife and a group of friends did not know what to expect since none of us have ever had a pasty (can you say fancy Hot Pocket, not a bad thing). They have a huge selection from an authentic pasty to thanksgiving in a pasty. We all had something different and we loved them all. All had flavorful fillings and a crisp, flaky crust. Our waitress, Alexis, was amazing. She was super friendly and full of personality. Do not be put off by the area it is not that bad. My wife and I have never had any issues there in 10 years. Just go in get a seat in one of the old church pews, order a Boddington's, some garlic chips and a pasty of your choice and enjoy. Oh yeah, you can bring home a par-baked pasty and cook it at home. They are just as good as the ones you get in the restaurant.

My wife and I love the food here. We usually get the pub chips with fresh garlic and jalapeño and the potato leek soup as starters. The eggplant Parmesan pasty, Shepherd' Pie, and Bangers & Mash pasties are always favorites, but others are great too. Our favorites are actually the desserts. They are all good, but if you like peanut butter and jelly, you should definitely get that dessert. The sticky toffee pudding is also a favorite. The beer list is fair but they don't have too much on tap. They are moving to a new location downtown, which is good, because my only complaint is that they don't have air conditioning and in the summer, that can be a huge problem. The pricing is very good.

The place is unique and in a weird location for Vegas. The menu for pasty's is extensive so it's hard to choose. The food is good relatively inexpensive and made fresh and hot. The fresh fries with cracked pepper and salt were great just go easy on the jalapeño. Will have to come back and try the other selections.

If you're looking for something different this place has yummy food! A "pasty" is like a calzone, and they offer TONS of different fillings. I had the Cajun chicken pasty and it was really delicious. There were 5 of us in our party and everyone loved their food. BUT..... the restaurant was very noisy. The music was too loud. And they have a big open kitchen, so when the cook was using some "blender" type of tool it was extremely loud and annoying. We couldn't hear each other talk, so that put a damper on our evening together. Service was good. Prices are reasonable. Personally, I don't like the location. And be prepared for a long walk from the parking area.

A great find off the beaten path. Great pastry food, very good service at the bar and a good selection of craft beer. A neat room that felt upscale and cozy. Want to return next trip. Recommended.

The restaurant is within the Commercial Center on Sahara, which is a run-down strip mall with a random assortment of businesses. Don't let the location throw you off: this restaurant is top-notch. The menu has a nice assortment of appetizers, soups, and salads, but the pasty selection is amazing. There truly is something for everyone: traditional fillings, fusion, vegetarian, and vegan. (And it isn't just a "token" vegetarian option! There is a full veggie menu.) The beverage menu is also good: three types of iced tea, ciders, beers, soft drinks.... I heard great things about their desserts, but having finished an entire pasty (most in my party ate half of one), I wasn't able to fathom eating any more. We will certainly be back.

Definitely worth a stop in your in the Arts District. Good drink selections, but the British menu is the real star here. Lots of good vegetarian options! I personally recommend their soup selection, and check out the desserts for a truly british pub taste.

You can tell the owner is defiantly from Cornwall a true Cornish pasty just like auntie and my dad makes! Very good and good service it's my third visit and has been great every time!

I've been to the original location in Az. but my wife has been wanting to try this place for quite a while. Food and service were both excellent and with a great variety of options I can't imagine that anyone would be unable to find something they would like. Highly recommend.

My son was dying to take us here- it's one of his favorite places for dinner. We actually went on Halloween so it was dark in the restaurant with haunted music. The food was surprisingly good. I got the Cottage, my wife got the Porky and my son got the Pilgrim. We all enjoyed our choices and shared. Waitress was very nice and helpful.

I came upon this restaurant by accident and was excited to see the name, as it was British. I went in and tried one of the cornish pasties and was extremely happy. I've been back twice more in the past month! My favourite pasty is the chicken tikka masala pasty. I love this place!

I can say, being from the UP of Michigan, that this place is awesome!!! We had the Oggie, the Carne Adovada, and for dessert, the Banoffee Pie!! Great selection of beers as well. We will be back for more. Enjoy

Fantastic pasty. Love it when I can find a good pasty, I get a bit nostalgic remembering those long trips to the UP. Now these pasties take it up a notch with a wide variety of options from Bangers and Mash to Chicken Curry to Guinness Stew. Good selection of craft beer as well.

Have you ever seen a restaurant advertise menu items as "gluten friendly" only to find out that they're not actually safe to eat for celiacs or people who cannot eat gluten? I hadn't been to Cornish Pasty Co. since my celiac diagnosis and my husband (who can eat anything) had never been. Be warned this is one of those super dark restaurants where you'll probably need to pull out your phone's flashlight to read the menu if you come at night. I noticed that their menu had certain items marked "GF" which their menu denoted meant "gluten friendly" not "gluten-free." As a Celiac, I'm not friendly to gluten, anymore than a vegetarian is "meat friendly." Their fries / chips are oven baked although the waitress said there's a possibility of flour cross contamination because it's a pasty restaurant. After talking with our fabulous waitress who was totally clued up about celiac disease, I settled on the $18 sausage salad that was marked GF. The menu says: "Sausage salad: House pork and sage sausage, mixed greens, roasted red pepper, cherry tomato, feta, mushroom, and red onion, with mustard cream dressing." The sausage was very dry cubes of meat with raw mushroom, raw onion some feta and cherry tomatoes with a bizarrely tangy mustard cream dressing (not honey mustard.) I finished it because it was $18 but I absolutely did not like it at all. My husband had a $16 pasty filled with beef and it looked fantastic. Unfortunately there are no gluten-free pasty options nor gluten-free beers so if you're a celiac like me, I cannot recommend this restaurant as a gluten-free option. (I did have glutening symptoms after dinner.) Visited May 2024

The balsamic portobello pastie was delicious, as was the sticky toffee pudding. Great service as well, the server & bartender were both attentive. Overall a good experience and I'll definitely be returning.

I haven't eaten a pasty since the world renown Kings' Pasty in the mining hamlet of Lead, SD and I can't lie - the pasty I had at Cornish Pasty Co. is the best damn pasty I've ever eaten! The fries happen to be delicious also. There had to be 20 different types on the menu and I landed on the Cajun Chicken pasty that did not disappoint. Atmosphere was Old English farmhouse (true to the nature of the pasty) with friendly staff. If you like pasties, you'll love this place...

Stopped in here today to have some lunch with my sister. What a great place!! The food was so fresh and different from anything I've had here in Vegas. It's delicious from bite one to the end of whatever you are eating! I only wish I could have tried more. If you go you must try the mushroom, spinach, walnut soup. It was delicious! I could go on forever about what we ate and how great it was, but I will end up writing a novel. So go try it your self and enjoy! Oh one more thing there is NO designated parking area so park on nearby Casino Center or Main Street and save yourself the aggravation of driving aimlessly looking for a parking area!

Really good cornish pasties, I had the Cottage pie. Pastry is delicious, lots of beer on tap, English, American, Irish and other international brands too. There are pool tables and dart boards as well as TV's. Tru pub atmosphere, place your orders at the bar and they bring it out to you. Tables were primarily the high pub type that sat 8 or 10. Surpirisingly good find in Las Vegas of all places, a bit off the strip but a definte great spot for an affordable and enjoyable meal.

We first tried this place when they were over on Sahara. Their new digs downtown has a lot more space and a bigger beer selection, but not much parking. Nonetheless...their pasties are amazing. Huge selection: traditional, or funky, or experimental, and all I've had were really good.

Visited this place for dinner with friends on out last night in Vegas last year, what a great place serving quirky but very tasty food. Both of us ordered the bangers and mash pasty which was yummo and shared a side of curried potatoes and mushy peas with our friends. Good wine list and also lots of beers available on tap. The area outside doesn't look that inviting but once you are inside the place has a nice relaxed bar atmosphere , staff and service all good, would love a place like that here in Australia.

Look further than the busy streets of Las Vegas and find the Cornish pasty restaurant. Great interior design relaxed atmosphere and the choice of pasties is mind blowing , other food is available . Take time to enjoy the concept of this great find .

I order from here regularly thru Postmates. Last weekend they were so busy they could not deliver. ahhh the agony. You have no idea what it's like to have a Postmates order cancelled when you are jonesing for a pasty. So for me please stop eating here at the weekend, so that I can get my food. Please........😀😢😢😢

Have been several times to the old location, this was my first time to the new location. Advantage is more space and seating. Located in a burgeoning art distirct, a bit of a drive but an easy walk to Hop Nuts brewery if you want to stop there first for a beer. Plenty of street parking. Wide array of pasties, riffs on different cuisines (British, Indian, Chinese, American, others).

Went here on a Wednesday afternoon for the first time. Parking is a terror! The service was good, and the place has a cool, urban, industrial kinda vibe. The Cottage Pie was ok, but it could have used a little more flavor. The portion size was not as big as I'd have liked. My wife had the Chicken Pesto, and that was full of flavor. No Bud Light on draft here, so be ready for pricey 'craft' beer.

Their pasties continues to be excellent after relocating to its current location. When I first visited them several years back at a different location, everything I tasted was over the top extremely salty that I sent everything back except for their soup. I vowed never to dine there again. After several years have gone by and they moved to their current location, now I find their food not extremely salty, in fact it's very really good and continues to be. Excellent pasties, or order a salad and add salmon. A large selection of beer. Street parking here may be difficult part depending on how busy this place is.

Great vibe, delicious food! My daughter found the Cornish Pasty Company through Yelp. This was where we decided to eat for our first meal in Las Vegas. We drove out to Charleston Boulevard. It was super crowded. We were lucky that we beat the dinner crowd and got a table. Yay! We enjoyed reading about the history of the Cornish Pasty on the menu. It was connected with the Irish miner's story. Our server was super nice. I wish I could remember his name. He was super helpful with recommendations. We ordered the traditional Oggy. We also got the Shepherd's pie with lamb. From Yelp recommendations, we read that we should not forget the sides, so we ordered the garlic mash and the broccoli and cauliflower cheese bake. The pasties were alright. The short crust is not too sweet and was quite thin. However, we still felt that we needed more filling. On the red wine sauce, our table was mixed. I loved it, but agreed that it was so savory and strong that it could easily overpower some of the more subtle flavors in the pasties. We ended the night with the apple caramel pasty a la mode. It came to our table piping hot. Be warned, it is so hot, it can scald. We cut open the apple pasty and the juice spurted and scalded my daughter. It started to blister. We asked the server if he could find some burn ointment. He brought back a packet of aloe balm and Bandaids. We were thankful for their response and assistance.

This is a must try place in downtown Las Vegas, I was amazed at how simple it was but atmosphere, staff and food were all brilliant. Variety of pasties available, 6 for dinner with mains, salads, wings, wine and cocktails for around $200 was great value, we had lamb & mint, cottage pie, vindaloo, roast dinner all beautiful. Service was good, hip place with nice sitting. Really worth a try.

Love the atmosphere, the staff and the food. Very relaxing, felt like a working man's environment. Traditional English pub grub, and wonderfully delicious. Be sure you get a Scotch egg! I'll be back next time in Vegas!

I grew up eating Cornish Pasties as my Mom is British, however, they aren't easy to find in most areas. When I saw that Vegas now had a whole restaurant involving these lovely delights, I knew we had to go. First of all, there are many different varieties to choose from which is very nice and accommodates many different palates. Second of all, the portions are absolutely huge, so you can share with your dinner mates and still have plenty to take home!! Next, is the staff, which during our visit was top-notch, from our waiter to the cook, everyone was super friendly and helpful. The pasties are out of this world delicious, we all wished we were bigger eaters so that we could have tried one of their fabulous dessert pasties, but we were all too full to even think about dessert. That's okay gives us something to look forward to on our next visit. We live in California and go to Vegas a couple of times a year and we will definitely be back to this lovely restaurant. Don't let the neighborhood scare you away, it is in a less than desirable location, however, we never felt threatened in any way. If you like a fabulous, hearty meal, don't let this place pass you by!!

friends took us out here, they are locals. they have many different choices, I had the chicken something, wish I could remember, but it was delicious, hot and service was great.

Despite a he borderline dangerous appearance of the square in which this place is located it was good! Great service, very good pasty menu well made and well served. Good value!

Cornish Pasty Co. 953 E Sahara Ave. 702-862-4538. Started with a nice pint of ale/beer and oven chips with garlic. The chips/fries were to die for as was all the pasties we tasted. The pasties were just like the ones we had in Cornwall England. We had the Shepherd pie, lamb and mint, chicken tikka masala. The food is superb but the location is a little iffy. So just don't look at the strip mail - walk in and get a great meal. This is going to be on my come back to every time we are in Vegas.

A Cornish Pasty is a baked savory pie. I enjoyed a Lamb and Mint pie, which was served with a side of red wine gravy! Off the strip in LV, it is a nice break from the bustle (and rip-offs) in the casino environment. I will be back on my next visit!

Had a late lunch. Place wasn't very busy. Got seated at a two-top near the back. This area was DARK; if the restaurant was trying to emulate the dimness of a mine shaft, it succeeded. Ordered a $7 cup of the Cream of Leek, Potato & Stilton Soup and the $10 1/2 dozen Parliament Wings, plus a $3.50 glass of Coke. Soup was good, wings were good. Service was pleasant. Got a (complimentary) refill of the Coke and the water once, but after that both the water and soda went unrefreshed. Value - OK for the area, if a bit over-priced. Atmosphere - Commits to its theme in the main room. Restroom was depressing; not positive if the grottiness was intentional. Two of the three stalls had missing toilet tank lids, one of the two sinks was broken, and there was graffiti scattered over the stall walls. Good if unremarkable food. Might come again if some event were happening in the Arts District, due to its convenient location.

This place was super hard to find if you type it in your iphone maps, it takes you to the opposite side of the shopping center. The outside of the place was not so appealing, and for how nice it is on the inside they should consider doing some remodeling. Anyway, this place is clean, small, and the menu was reasonable and delicious! I started with the oven chips, which is baked french fries with garlic and jalapeños, they were a super good starter. I've never had British food before and really enjoyed The Oggie traditional pasty! If you're looking to get a good glimpse of trying traditional food then I suggest the Oggie. Now for dessert, the Sticky Toffee Pudding with creme anglaise and vanilla ice cream is SO GOOD! Definitely leave room for dessert and order that because you won't be disappointed! Service was superb, and welcoming. Really enjoyed my time eating lunch here. Overall, I'm going to rate this 4/5 since I'm into appearance when it comes to the front of the restaurant (kinda like a first impression). Even though I totally judged incorrectly, I still think doing some remodeling would do this great restaurant some justice :)

These pasties are even better than what I had in England and there are more varieties then normal. Peppered steak was my first election and it was Delicious! The mushroom, & spinach soup was excellent and we will definitely be back. Don't let the outside appearance prevent you from enjoying this place. Also a good beer selection to top things off.

Cornish Pasties done very well now, as well as their salads. Extensive menu of pasties, comfort food of high quality, filling, very tasty, and beers available.

We went here on a Tuesday night with my husband and two friends. It was an interesting experience with a few hit and miss dishes. The place is located on Main street in Downtown. The parking is limited and away from the location (street parking primarily) so be prepared to walk a bit if it is busy! The place has a dark bar setting with cool black/white photos of Irish children. It definitely pays homage to their culture that started pasties to begin with. FOOD: We had the following dishes: Scotch Egg - hardboiled egg wrapped in sausage & breadcrumb w/ honey mustard. This was an interesting dish that was okay. I wouldn't order this again. The egg tasted over cooked and dry. I am more of a runny yoke type of gal, so I don't think this was a good dish for me to try. Cream of Tomato w/ Crouton soup was SO TASTY! It was rich, creamy and warm, which was perfect since it was really cold outside. I would come back to try this again. The Oggie Traditional Pasty - Steak, potato, onion & rutabaga (swede) with a side of red wine gravy. The red wine gravy is amazing!!! Even the pasty dishes that other people ordered that didn't come with the side of red wine gravy ordered it because it was that yummy. GET THIS! If I could add this to ever carb dish I had, I would. lol The Oggie pasty was good, but it tasted amazing with the red wine gravy. However, BEWARE - THESE DISHES ARE SUPER HEAVY! I could only finish half of mine. I reheated it in the oven the next day and it was still tasty. Oven Chips w/ Garlic and Jalapeno. This is hand cut British style chips cooked in the oven seasoned with cracked pepper & sea salt. I'm not sure if the kitchen messed up, but the chips we received were soggy. I enjoy more crisp fries so we didn't eat much of it. If you enjoy soggy fries, then I would recommend this dish for you. People at the table also ordered the Guinness Stew and Cajun Chicken. However, I didn't try it but the person who ordered it said it was yummy. BAR: They had a lot of beers on draft and a full bar. I would definitely come back here to drink the hard ciders again. :-) PRICE: All the items were reasonably priced. Everything was around $9-10 a pasty. The cup of soup was $4. So I would say Cornish Pasty is about $15-$30 a person depending on what you order. SERVICE: We were greeted and seated the moment we came in. Our server did an excellent job checking on our table. Overall, the experience was okay. The red wine gravy was the highlight of our meal. But, I wasn't too fond of the soggy chips and the Scotch Egg entree. Service is great. I recommend ordering the Oggie Traditional Pasty and Cream of Tomato soup. Happy Dining, J Tran

First I have to complement the great personality and professional service Hoku the bartender gives !!! He's job is outstanding! Wish I have this guy at work since I'm in the industry. But let's come back to business, the food it's great and reminded me to Toluca Mexico where they are famous for cooking the best Pastes in the world Hoku was terrific and split the dishes for us. I definitely recommend this place !! Very happy and worth the travel.

Rude staff. Long wait to be served and for meal to arrive. However the wait was worth it One of the best pasties around. If you like Indian curry order the chicken tika masala pasty.

Another visit and this time with family and was not let down, wish they did a steak and kidney pasty. LA IPA was great tooo...only gripe was the music, little too loud, maybe it is my age, but I have spent over 30 years in the music biz. I will be back as this place obviously reminds me of my home and a pasty is very filling.

More than 24 beers, ales, and ciders on tap (including Guinness), great pasties, desserts, and even genuine Scotch Egg this place is a genuine trip to Cornwall. This is the second trip through LV that we've made specific hole in our schedule to have lunch here. We brought along friends who'd never heard of pasties and they were delighted. Great opportunity to poke around in downtown Arts area, friendly staff, great tap selection - you can spend a couple of very pleasant hours here, a respite from the hustle of LV. Note: You can frequently park on the opposite side of the block, on the street, and walk around easily.

A truly wonderful experience when we visited Cornish Pasty Co in Vegas. Drawn by the name with a promise so something English, we loved the great selection of draft beers. Husband was delighted to find Boddington's on tap. I enjoyed the Blackthorn Cider. Watching the Cornish Pasties being delivered to adjacent diners, we changed our dinner plans and weren't disappointed. Mine was the salmon and the other was the lamb mint. Both so good we devoured every bit!! Normally not a pudding/dessert fan, but spotted pavlova on offer so could not resist. I was however disappointed - I was looking forward to the gooey bit in the middle and this was hard. Fun, too sitting around the bar and watching the chefs at work. They put on quite a show and never stopped over the two hours we spent in the restaurant.

Crisp pool tables available to customers free of charge. $3 pints of coors and a great selection of crafts/local brews etc. Happy hour each day & a great evening vibe :)

The Cornish Pasty Co. is in the "Art District" in what appears to be an up and coming section of town. The atmosphere and decor have a cool industrial pub feel with some warmth added by the wooden tables and church pew seating for the tables. The first thing you notice is the wonderful small of pasty's baking, even before you get in the door. I've had pasty's before and these are the best I've had and so many choices beyond the traditional. The portion is quite hearty - great if you are coming hungry and shareable if you aren't quite as hungry or have a smaller appetite. The pastry is crispy/crunchy on the outside yet light and flaky. Then there is the inside . . . . so many choices that it was difficult for us to decide. I had The Oggie - a traditional pasty served with a side of ketchup (which I didn't use, but I'm sure some like it that way). It was the best I've had. Over the course of 2 visits during our trip we had several different pasties - Bangers and Mash, Chicken Greek, Cottage Pie, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb and Mint, Lamb Vindaloo, and Cheese and Onion. While they were all quite tasty my favorites were the Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Vindaloo in addition to The Oggie. The first night we also ordered the Oven Chips with pepper and sea salt. They were good, but nothing to compare to the pasties. We didn't have any salads, but they looked delicious and were huge! On our second trip, we skipped the chips and saved room for dessert. At our waiter's suggestion my husband and I shared the Sticky Toffee Pudding with creme anglaise. We both really enjoyed it. The kids were not as enamoured of it. They shared a Chocolate Bread and Butter Pudding with creme anglaise and really liked that. This was a great fun place to come for dinner. We're hoping they might make a move to the east coast and open one near us, but in the meantime I think I'll have some pasties shipped for my birthday dinner. (Yes, they ship pasties so we're excited about that!)

This is as close as Las Vegas gets to having a real British pub. The pasties are spot-on, just as good as we've had in the UK. Great service. Value priced. And you can take par-baked pasties to go and heat them at home. This is one of my favo(u)rite places in Las Vegas.

I came in and tried the mint lamb Cornish and salad and the ice was good too! Will come back to try the shepherd pie Cornish!

After a week of travel in the desert, eating only pizzas and Mexican food, it was nice to try something different in Vegas. They have many vegetarian and vegan options which is great.

Took a while to find the place (it's a little of the beaten track (the strip)) But it was definitely worth it. Pastys were great, service was amazing and the beer great. We will definitely return!

Chicken pot pie, my oh my. Oven potatoes - good Soup. Delicious Can't wait to go back and try some more.

We have eaten here a few times, and ordered take out as well. Although a bit pricey, most pasties are $13 to $17 each and served with no sides, they are delicious and filling. Great to place one’s order then relax and have a drink at the bar (opposite side of restaurant) . They will bring your “to go” order around to you. Good selection of craft beers on tap. Great atmosphere.

The restaurant is located on a busy street so we parked two blocks away. This meant we had to go through an alleyway, enter via a little-used back door, through the darkened bar area. Hmm, not quite my comfort zone. Then the music was loud and "alternative" which really had me questioning our choice. Once we were seated and the menus arrived I began to understand why our son brought us here. The pasties were very good, easily big enough to share (but we didn't!). They were every bit as good as we enjoyed in the U.K. two years ago. We did share a caramel apple pasty for dessert and it was delicious!

Went to this place with coworkers. The concept of the restaurant is that of a mine, so it's very unique. The restaurant is at the entrance and the bar is at the end of the place. The pasties we ordered were delicious and they are made to order. The place was full for a Tuesday night. I will have to come back and try out their other types of pasties! Highly recommended.

Decided to buy the office lunch from here after getting a tip from a friend. We ordered 7 different pasty's including a dessert one. They were fantastic! I'm convinced you could wrap anything in that flakey, buttery, pie type crust and it would be awesome. Think of it as a pot pie in the shape of a burrito. The selection is tremendous. Something for everyone's taste. At $8 to $9 each I thought they were tremendous value. Despite the shady location and appearance from the outside, the place was very comfy and warm in the inside. This place is a hidden gem. I'm convinced I would've never tried a pasty in my life had I not heard about this place from a friend. I convinced now that I will be eating pasty's more often....

Discovered this restaurant via Trip Advisor. We were in Vegas for NY weekend and wanted to try new places. My daughter-in-law suggested we try the Cornish Pasty Co. It is on a very busy street near downtown. We were able to park next door. Arrived around 4pm on a Tuesday. Restaurant was only about 15% capacity. We were immediately greeted and got drinks quickly. The pasty's are basically a turnover filled with various meats, cheeses, etc. They are really good and I recommend all items. We had 6 ppl in our group and they all raved about their pasty. Would definitely return if in area.

We went here for our last family meal in vegas with all 10 of us. The atmosphere is great! The service was awesome. The choices of pastys is huge. Some family members had soups which were amazing. We split a few flavors of the fries which were amazing (garlic in particular) I had the Roast beef sarnie pasty Wichita was amazing. The food was super filling. The mushy peas are not what I'm used to. They were very bland but nothing some salt and pepper could not fix. I would definitely go back!

First of all what a phenomenal space. Very inviting, a place you want to go hang out with friends; for any reason. Service was phenomenal. Britney was my Bartender & she recommended so many delicious things that tasted spectacular. Being Vegan, the choices were abundant & she helped narrow it down to two dishes. Her smile made me feel welcome & I even watched how she balanced handling all the guests at the same time. Everyone seemed to enjoy her suggestions, advice, & appreciation for her job. The food was AMAZING! I thought for sure that it wouldn’t be enough & it was in fact more than enough. See the photos attached. It was the classic pasty & sweet potatoes with a side of tasty sauce. All in all I would definitely go back, hopefully sooner then later. Thanks Cornish Team! Keep up the good work.

What a great place! The idea (in case you’re not a Brit) is a food filled bread. Not far from a Calzone or Samosa, but with crispy crust like bread. The choices are immense. We had a Chicken Tikka Masala version and the Greek. Both were tasty, big and filling. Cocktails (and bartender OG from Maui) were awesome too. Open one in PDX and we’ll be there all the time. Will be back.

The Cornish Pasty is a quality restaurant that has vegan options as well as regular meat eaters delight!

The food is so great I forgot to take a photo and just dug in! Delicious peppered steak pasty. Ordered mushy peas that helped pick up the pieces that fell out. Saw a big guy there that had to take his food home - it was that big. Also got sticky toffee pudding which was so delicious and the waitress’ favorite. Scraped the cast iron caldron to get all of it. The table next to us all had soup with thick, crusty bread.

My friends are from Michigan and a few years ago we took a road trip through Michigan and we went to the upper peninsula. This is where they introduced us to pasties and we have been ordering them online every year since. Well no need to do that anymore because this place is the real deal, it's not a big place and it's not in the best neighborhood but it is soooo good. There were 4 of us and all ordered different pasties so we could taste a few all were very good but my wife found the chicken curry one a bit too spicy for her. The traditional one is called the augie and it is amazing. All pasties come with gravy and it is delicious. The place has a pub type feel and I highly recommend the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the air conditioning isn't great being in an old strip mall. They sell pasties to go and we took some home after being totally satisfied with our meal, that's how good these are. We will definitely be back. Thank you Cornish Pasty company.

Loved it! Great vibe, delicious food and beers, fun attentive service. Connor was awesome! The pasties are so hearty, but it was tough for me to have only one because they all looked so tempting!

While friendly, the waitress needed to be flagged down for almost everything, from ordering drinks to correcting one order to getting the check. Of the three of us, we rated our pasties 4, 3, and 2 stars; although all three of us said if we ate somewhere else serving pasties, then we might change that rating. Overall, we wouldn't go out of our way to eat here again, but if we were in the area looking for a place, we'd possibly pop in.

We recently had lunch here. Great ambience! Loved the church pews seating, intricate lighting and vintage sepia photographs. We shared a Guinness stew pastie (so delicious) and a side caesar salad. All kinds of unique beers and wines! Service was excellent....awesome place!

To experience an authentic British dish, I have chosen to visit this restaurant. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was not too pleasing. The restaurant had loud music playing, and the place was too dark. The food was good but not excellent. The price was pretty descent for the amount of food I was getting. The service was slow but understandable because it was a busy night. The experience was nothing unique. It felt like I was at a local pub eating a Cornish pasty. I will give it another shot next time. Hope there will be less noise next time and hope the service will be much more faster.

Opened in January 2014 has been a great addition to las Vegas restaurants. All for is made from scratch and has many different options in the pasties. Ythey even have vegetarian and vegan options.

Actually is a lot more than that. All the pasty are amazing and I already tried a few of them and they are all very flavorful. I have a few favorite ones, so is hard to pick just one. Desserts are ver good as well and they have huge bar with games like pool table, darts and shuffle board. If you are In downtown, you have to stop here.

I grew up eating the basic pasty of meat & potatoes, so when I saw the Cornish Pasty Co I had to check it out. My husband & I ordered different pasty's and they were absolutely delicious! We will definitely be going back every time we are in Las Vegas. Already thinking about which pasty I want to have next time.

I go here from time to time for carryout pasties, but after today, I won't be back. My bill was $10.56. I handed the server a $20 bill, but only got $9.00 in change. When I pointed out that she owed me 44 cents more, I was curtly told, "We're not a bank. We just round up." HUH?! When I pointed out that I had never, ever not been given the full change at other businesses, this woman said, "Really?" Yes, REALLY!! She then managed to find two quarters and made a point of telling me she had given me six cents more than I was owed. Come on, people: Grow up. Buy a cash register and stop ripping off customers!

Had the sage sausage pasty and it was delicious. You won't be disappointed. Many kinds of beer on tap and the staff here is great! Give it a try!

Such a wide variety of options including a number of excellent vegetarian and vegan options. Great place to grab a drink and enjoy fantastic food. Music can be a little loud in the day but that’s the only negative, otherwise a great spot!

We never would have found this, if it wasn't for local friends who asked us to meet them there. In an " up and coming " sets neighborhood, this was a surprise. Clearly a local favorite, it was busy inside. Great staff, who needed to explain to us what we were ordering. I had never heard of a pasty. They are, tasty ! Wonderful find, highly recommend. Take a break from the boring buffets.

Consistency. Unbelievable consistency. Great pasties. Unbelievable choice. Love going here whenever I get the opportunity. If your in Vegas this place is a must.

This little dive is located in the back of a plaza among loads of Thai and Korean places; we ended up having to call the restaurant for directions after driving around in circles for what seemed like forever. Once you find the place tho, prepare for ecstasy! The pasties are PERFECT and the garlic / cheddar mashed potatoes are to die for. I had a cheese and onion pasty with mushy peas and the potatoes. The peas were a little disappointing (I've had better), but the pasty was wonderful---flawless crust and a delicious filling. The hubby (who is from England) loved his Oggie pasty and since coming home we have considered taking advantage of their mail-order service! The place is a dive inside but the food is sublime, and completely worth the effort to find it.

Almost dive bar type British style pasty bar.. There are numerous pasties to choose from, even about 10 vegetarian / vegan ones. (It's paw-steē... not pā-stee ) There is a rotating tap list, with a great variety & a few local beers.... Along with a bottle list that changes every-so often. Odd music playlist but the service & company make up for any weirdness. The pasties are great. I had the Oggie... Just short of amazing! I was disappointed with the mushy peas, though. Over all a great place for dinner and a drink & to just hang out.

This place offers a large variety of different pastries stuffed with amazing toppings. I found that half of the menu offers items that I still want to try. The pastry is absolutely fresh and flaky!

This my third visit to Cornish Pastry Company. They were originally located in a small space at Commercial Square on Sahara Ave. The new location, located in the Arts District is a large pub style restaurant/bar. They have kept the Irish coal miner's theme in the new location and the industrial modern interior design fits well with the ambiance as well as the open kitchen. The signature menu offerings are the pasties - It is made by placing an uncooked filling, typically meat and vegetables, on one half of a flat shortcrust pastry circle, folding the pastry in half to wrap the filling in a semicircle and crimping the curved edge to form a seal before baking. There are also a variety of salads. Pasties are tasty. I recently had the lamb and mint pastie and it was more than filling. You can share them if you like. There is a great happy hour. The bar offers 32 types of draft beers.

If your a Brit living in the USA and miss the traditional Cornish Pasties, this is a must visit. If you want to try something different and non British then it's still worth the visit. The location isn't great, the outside looks dull and perhaps the last place you would wish to eat, but believe me the food is excellent! - the service too was very good and you've also got to try and English pint. I'd definitely comeback and hopefully you will to once you've experienced this restaurant/bar. Even the music was good too - very British and 1980's.

First when we went to the restaurant I thought that I do not want to eat in it. But I change my mind when I came in. The staff are friendly. The place is clean. The menu has alot of options. The food is so delicious. And you can buy a pie and cook it at home. You must try it.

Having lived in Upper Michigan for a number of years, I never thought I would find somewhere here in Las Vegas that would even know what a pasty was. Boy was I wrong!! The Cornish Pasty Co has so many pasties, we were a bit overwhelmed! We eventually settled on The Oggie (The Traditional Pasty) being we knew what a pasty should taste like and wanted to see how they stack up. They were just as good as the ones found in the UP!! Now to go back and try something else!!!

The Cornish Pasty was recommended to us for lunch and boy am I glad we stopped in. It is located a bit off the main tourist areas but well worth the trip. The menu is huge as well as the portions. The prices are good and there is an excellent selection of vegetarian options. The food was very fresh and tasty. I recommend the Leek soup, yum!

Happen to be in the same parking lot where I was attending a billiards tournament, Had some between session downtime so a friend and I strolled across the parking lot and found myself here. Its not huge by any means just a nice danty place with a wonderful menu which highlighted the Pasty. My first time having one and it was well worth the wait its fresh made and the ingredients are perfect. Again you need to choose what you like and believe they have a nice selection. They also have a great selection of beers to go with your meal some tap and bottle selection. Service was great and i really felt like i was eating at home as the kitchen is right in front of you to view. I was told however that they will be moving within the end of July so call ahead for the new address. I will be returning back to try some other items they offer. In all it was a great lunch and the prices are very reasonable

Our family group of 10 had a very nice time and a good meal here. The menu offers about 15 variations on the traditional Cornish staple for the miners. (A good wife could make a pasty that would survive the drop into the mine for her husband's meal) We tried at least 6 among our group; all were very pleased.

Fun and creative bar/restaurant in the downtown area The decor is pretty gothic but trendy. They have pews for tables (but not open during the day). This is like a cross of Victorian England and a modern pub. The pastys are, it is often said, like upgraded "hot pockets." They have a ton of flavors. The meatball one is quite good. So is the traditional Scottish pie (and Shepherd's pie). People like the cheeseburger one. Maybe I would return for that. You can't substitute ingredients. They are pre-made in house, closed, then baked. If you take one to go they can give it to you "half-baked," and you can finish it off at home. The desserts are really good! Try the one that is toffee, but tastes like bread pudding. There are sweet pastys, too, with ice cream. I like that they serve hot tea with a pitcher, as it should be.

As expats we've been tempted by many restaurants over the years touting traditional dishes from our childhood, only to be disappointed, until now WOW. Loved the mushy peas (can I suggest served with mint sauce?) and the vinegar they quickly brought when asked. Our picky kids who'd never even had a Cornish pasty raved about the food. Will be using the online service for sure! Beware of Yelp directions they will take you to their old location (scary area). Parking is on a side street or behind the restaurant.

My cousin took me here at the end of a busy and wonderful day. We had made the trip to Hoover dam and she was beyond adamant that we come here for dinner. Was not let down..it was this incredible symphony of taste & smell. Those scotch eggs are so divine and their pasties are extremely filling. The atmosphere at night is kinda loud but also very intimate and dark. I think of goth, rockabilly, emo, atmosphere.... the church pews in a bar ish place is a conundrum.

Immediately seated, friendly and helpful staff. Very dim inside, but felt like you were in a British pub. Food was great and the portions were large.

We stumbled cross this place and some locals told us to go there. We are not Cornish but come from the North of England. What can we say right? We were In Vegas 1st so up for it even though we in are early 50s well sometimes ! My God went to a post punk advertised night. Our son is in a quite a banging band and a session musician in a few northern bands and does djing. This is the America so ok, you own it. don't think they understand the UK culture and situation. The food is so expensive felt like a circus with rude staff. Looked really high on something. We have coal mining heritage in our family would laughed at in our area. Do yourself a favour Brits go to the Double down bar, better than this hip place . Better service and respect and live music with decent prices for vegas. Why has the world gone so trendy ?

Place was recommended by some local acquaintances. It's a small place and the outside is not really inviting, located in an older looking shopping center. Once you get inside it has a quaint pub atmosphere. The pasties are delicious and they have a variety of fillings to choose from. Also a nice beer list. The server was very friendly, I just wish she hadn't been handling the whole place single-handedly, because my water glass was empty a couple of times. All in all I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant has been our favorite since we found them in their old location and we have been regulars since then. Each time we return we have tried something new- and taken home an old favorite. Each pastie is soooo delicious. We have told all our friends about this place and we bring people from out of town here regularly. Their selection of beer is wonderful, fabulous soups and salads - and they have so much choice for our vegetarian friends too! The staff is friendly and welcoming - and the new location has lots more space located in the up and coming arts district. The only down side is that the parking can be challenging and I wish they would add a patio. However- it's certainly worth finding this unique gem for its delicious menu. I'm definitely going for a meal today. Yum.

I went here recently with friends and it was GREAT! From the outside it looks like it could be a strip club or abandoned, but it is NOT! Go inside, into the cool, dim lit air conditioned space and relax at the bar or one of their pub tables. The four of us split 4 different pasties. The Carne Adovovado was slightly mexican-ish, Cottage pie for a more traditional flavor, lamb vindaloo and I honestly cant remember the last one. They were each delicious and the sauces accompanying them was fantastic. I rarely give 5 stars for restaurants, but i already crave and miss this place. I would make a special trip to go back!

Unbelievable! If you love comfort food get here and eat. Such a great and bustling neighborhood. The staff are helpful and kind. We enjoyed the Oggie and house chips! Can’t go wrong. The drinks are on point. See Zilla, aka Todd, at the bar. This is a great experience. Do not miss Las Vegas by staying on the strip. Get out and explore. Enjoy this nice food and beverage experience!

Unique concept in the states. Heavy, delicious options that will leave you full and satisfied. Great beer choices and worth a visit.

One of my favorite places to take people to eat in Las Vegas. The PBJ pasty is amazing -- save room for dessert! We have never been dissatisfies. Love the Scotch egg. The soup is amazing too. It is a great place to take a large group so that you can try a bit of everything. You can basically get a quarter pound hamburger AND fries baked into a pie. You can also order pre-cooked pasties to take home and bake yourself-- great for parties and home entertaining.

Amazing dinner and drinks before heading to the Cockroach Theater. Loved the Up Tea Creak. Will be back!

Love everything we try here and never leave disappointed. But it’s hard to save room for a dessert, we usually take it home. The pastry and fillings are quality, portions are generous and staff knows what they are doing. $4 Car Bomb Specials (Whiskey, Irish Cream shot dropped in a half a glass of Guinness) This place has large tables, great for a big group, with lots of menu options, including vegan & vegetarian options.

Being from Upper Michigan and finding a Pasty shop in Vegas was a great surprise! They even mention us on the menu! I had the original, which was almost just like grandma made. In addition, they had dozens of varieties as well! Good stuff!

Feels like a larger style pub with awesome food, had a pasty here and it's crazy good, great atmosphere, definitely kick back

My family and I were actually going to a Thai restaurant, but the wait was long--we saw the Cornish Pasty place in the same shopping center and became excited to try it. My mom is from England, so we are big fans of pasties. The place is small and pub-like, with great music and a variety of beers on tap. We had the royale pasty, chicken pot pie pasty, and Oggie pasty. All were delicious. The Oggie reminded me of the steak pie my Nan used to make. My favorite of the three was the royale--juicy, meaty...yum! The best part of the meal was the dessert....Shirley Temple treacle pudding. The six of us shared it, and we were actually fighting for bites. The bill for six of us with six meals, one salad, two orders of chips, two lagers, and tip was $90. Wow! Cornish Pasty Co will be our new Boxing Day tradition.

I went to this restaurant to try a different kind of food of what I am used to eat, and I can say that was a good experience, the food is excellent and the price matches with the quality of the food. When I went there the restaurant was pretty busy so the service was kinda slow. But the experience was awesome, I will return.

I had heard how good Lotus of Siam was but they were booked solid when I showed up. I checked out other nearby places and this place was right across the parking lot. The outside looks sketchy - the whole little mall complex looks sketchy but once I got inside it was suddenly a lovely old English pub. Great atmosphere, attentive staff. I got the original Cornish pastry and it was delicious - flaky crust, full of flavor, also had some soup with homemade bread which was delicious. My one issue was they didn't seem to have air conditioning. There was one fan in the corner and that was it. It got uncomfortably hot the longer I sat there. They really need to invest in that. Other then that, I enjoyed it quite a bit.

On a visit to Las Vegas, we ordered the original (the Oggie), the lamb pasty as well as the meat and cheese. These are amongst the best Cornish Pasties I have ever had, as good as, if not better than, my grandmother’s home made in Britain. Unlike some mass produced bakery pasties in the UK, the Oggie had decent chunks of meat, potatoes, Swede, onions and the right amount of herbs and spices. I would eat here again. My only gripe is parking - for takeout we phoned in to make sure they were ready for pick-up, then parked in the alleyway next to the restaurant.

I've been wanting to check out this place for awhile now, all my friends have been talking about it and loved it. Great little spot in a revitalized area of Downtown called the Arts District. A good and varied selection of beer on tap (including some good local selections) and a large selection of their hand crafted pasties on the menu. I ordered the peppered steak one after narrowing it down and asking the bartender which was his favorite. The dough was nice and flaky and baked to golden brown perfection, the filling was flavorful with some bites and some had no flavor; I believe it wasn't mixed thoroughly. Great blue cheese and pepper flavor in some bites, some bites none; and the squash seemed like it didn't belong in there. I look forward to returning and trying some different ones.

If you love salt, you’ll love their food! So many things went wrong here! We got there at 5:30. Place was not busy at all. The sign says please wait to be seated. We waited and waited. Another couple came up behind us. They waited too. A woman came up and said she would put us on their wait list and it would be about 15 minutes. Go to the bar… I’m looking around at all the empty spots and wondering why they can’t seat us now. After another 15 at the bar, we walk back to the front and notice a 4 top has been seated. Now I’m getting angry. We tell a male waiter and he directs us to a table. We have a show to make. He grabs our order and the first thing that comes out is our side dish with 1 spoon no plates. We are supposed to eat our mushy peas right out of the bowl? If we want them hot I guess we will. Finally after waiting for another 15 minutes are food comes. Soup and entrees together. Tomato soup tasted like pasta sauce. My friend ordered the Vegetable Oggie. She took 1 bite and it was too salty for her. She ate bread and butter. I wanted the Guinness pasty. Sorry out of several steak dishes so I got the lamb vindaloo. Not bad if you like gristle with every bite. Behind the spiciness of the sauce was a lot of salt. We complained to the waiter and was told “we get a lot of complaints that the food is too salty and we keep telling the chefs”. Then we told them about the excessive wait. He said “ we don’t have a hostess or bus people so we have to do everything ourselves”! WTH???? This is ridiculous. Can’t say I’ll be back.

Great little place in the arts district. Neat atmosphere. Huge variety of pasties and full bar. Must stop!

This food is absolutely amazing, and the entire staff is always so friendly and quick to service! I used to live close to the restaurant so I would eat here at least twice a week... Now that I live so far, I make it a point to drive clear across town once or twice a month to get my Pasty fix!

One of our most memorable meals in Vegas. I would recommend trying both a meat shell and a dessert shell, both were excellent and the pasty shell is fantastic. Staff is awesome as well.

Really great food at very affordable prices. Since discovering the place, we have to stop by at least once a week. Great service and the servers are very knowledgeable about the food. Great beer selection as well. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

I had to walk a long way to find this place, but I got there in the end. The place is set up like a Bar where you can just sit and drink beer. But what they also do is make pasty's this is an on going process behind bar where you can watch thee staff assembling them ready to be baked. I ordered the standard pasty and a beer. The pasty was quite a descent size and tasted very nice indeed. but it was not a Cornish pasty as the crimp went across the top and not along the side. Also the ingridients were not correct. But it was ery nice to eat and one of the best meals I had in Las Vegas!

The food was absolutely wonderful and the staff was really friendly. Forget all of that though and go just to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding! It was one of the most incredible desserts I have ever had in a restaurant. Everybody in our group loved it so much. Go for that and stay for the rest.

I always enjoy food in a delicious pastry dough but this place is great! We tried the Ohgy (steak and potatoes), the cheesesteak, Bangers (homemade) and mash, a Mexican one. They serve different sauces with each pasty. We had the mushy peas and fries with garlic and jalapeño. Everything was terrific! We then had the peanut butter, banana, and jelly pasty with ice cream!!!! Oh my was that delicious!!! We also took an apple pasty with cream fresh to make at home. Wow everything was so good, that we are already talking about going back!

I've been going to this place since before they moved. The new location is so fun. The ambiance is laid back. There is a pool table and bar. The food is delicious and the appetizers are fantastic. I really enjoyed their coleslaw and the pastys i've had are amazing.

Only 5 min from the Freemont Experience. There is a reason it's a 5 star eatery. The food was cooked to perfection. Perfect British Pub food. The server was really nice. My desert was cooked to perfection!. I can't stand store like dessert, this place cooked it by the order.

Came here for lunch with my friend (a local) during a recent business trip to Vegas. I specifically mention that we came for lunch because when I first mentioned it to my friend, he described the area as "a bit sketchy" and was concerned about going there a night. So, lunch it was! And an excellent lunch it was too! Arriving sometime after 1pm, we enjoyed ample parking (in a giant, somewhat sketchy strip mall), and just a handful of customers in the restaurant. We grabbed two seats at the bar and were greeted promptly. Side note: I read complaints in other reviews about the bar seats. They are not bar stools, at least not like any stools I have sat on before. They are formed, metal seats that I felt offered a much better sense of stability. Were they comfortable? Well, they didn't bother me at all. OK, back to the meal. I ordered the Oggie, their "Traditional" pasty, which was filled with steak, potatoes, onion and rutabaga, and served with a side of red wine gravy. My friend ordered the Shepherd's Pie, which as it so happened, the cook was assembling fresh right before our eyes. This food is hearty, savory and delicious! The staff are friendly and inviting. All said and done, even with it's off the beaten path location, my friend (the local) thanked me for discovering CPC and told me that he will be a frequent visitor. Give it a shot! You will not be disappointed.

The food was authentic based on my husband's opinion who grew up in England. And we both thought it was delicious. The food took a long time to come out. The server was not attentive to our needs.

Great pasties and home fries/chips. Service was not great but pleasant. The sticky toffee pudding was excellent! We had the porky and the chicken pot pie pasties.

Best food and environment of our trip. Conner was fab, gave us some recommendations in the area. Will always make this a stop when in Vegas!

Three of us went there March 28, as we had heard it was a good place to grab a bite to eat of something that was delicious and different. The outside, looks not so good. In fact, we weren't so sure it was open. The inside is a little dark, but a nice place. They have tables around the side of the bar. I got the Italian. Lots of meat and cheese. One friend got the cajun chicken, it was good. It was a really nice pasty, that comes with a side of chipotle sauce. I like spicy, but this sauce is really spicy. My other friend got the Royale with cheese. It is a thick hamburger patty, cheese, onions and was good. You know me, I have to try each. No need for any sides as we were full just from the pasties and we are three adult men. Just saying. Overall crowd seemed to be 30-somethings and nice people. The server was a very nice female Shannon, that explained how it all worked. Basically they have to pre-cook all pasties at least a little so that your wait time isn't too long. We waited about 20 minutes for the food. For 3 of us, total bill was $30 before the tip. Shannon was the only server but she really worked hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. I hope the bosses here know what a great worker they have in Shannon. We will definitely go back and try other pasties as well.

Missing pasties from the London cornish pasty shops, we had to stop at this one on our brief trip to Las Vegas. They had at least 40 different types of pasty, a few being traditional British (The Oggie {steak, potato, onion, and rutabaga}, Porky {pork, potato, apple, onion, and sage}, and lamb and mint {lamb, potato, rutabaga, onion, and fresh mint}) and most nontraditional (such as The Chicken Greek {chicken, spinach, mozzarella, feta, sun-dried tomato, olive, artichoke, and garlic}). My husband had The Oggie, I had The Porky, and my daughter had The Chicken Greek. All were outstanding, and wonderful to take on the plane with us to eat on the flight home. In fact, the passenger next to me commented on how delicious mine smelled. We were able to sit and watch them being quickly hand-made at the counter, and then popped in the oven. They were still hot and delicious 3 hours later--inflight. Each cost about $10-$11. By the way, they also offer many vegan and vegetarian pasties, salads and soups, appetizers, side dishes, and desserts--none of which that we had time to try.

More than 24 beers, ales, and ciders on tap (including Guinness), great pasties, desserts, and even genuine Scotch Egg this place is a genuine trip to Cornwall. There are at least two other places in Vegas that claim to offer english pub food, but they're simply not in the same league with this place. You can frequently park on the opposite side of the block, on the street, and walk around easily.

After numerous visits since 2017..time to give some props. Service: Service is dependent on the servers here. Overall good, but sometimes you have to wave down your server to get a drink refill. Everyone has been friendly regardless Pasty+: I had my first Scotch Egg here. Great appetizer that compliments the pasty coming.I went with the "Royale with Cheese" Pasty - Hamburger, French fries, grilled onions, mushrooms, bacon, cheddar Swiss blend, all inside a pastry? This sounded like a cheeseburger combo stuffed into a pastry that I wanted to know more about! The ranch dressing was the perfect compliment. It seemed a little salty to me, but my tolerance for salt is lower than most people. I'm not complaining at all, the Pasty was awesome. Just an fyi. We shared the bubbling sticky toffee pudding with an ice cream on the side. It came out steaming in a small kettle and was fantastic. Next time, I'm getting one for myself. =) Value: Pasties were $10 and the appetizer Scotch Egg was $5.50. For the tastiness of the food vs the price we paid, that's hard to beat. The portions were perfect as we were content but not stuffed. Ambiance: Industrial inside with a English theme and VERY spacious with lots of seating. We saw a section with Church Pew seating, (Sorry, forgot the trigger warning =) 2 Bars, 2 Pool tables and the longest bar top shuffleboard game I've ever seen. Ultra hipster vibe with music in the background at the perfect level as to not disturb table conversation. Summary: I'm definitely stopping by here in the evening in the near future. The beers on draft were high quality and I love the spaciousness and vibe in general. If you've never tried a Pasty before, this is the place to be for your first experience. Enjoy...

I just wanted to stay in there forever, such a cool restaurant with an awesome atmosphere! But the pies-delicious! The crust was so yum, and we really enjoyed the mushy peas as well. Not many places offer such a selection of savory pies, highly recommend it! The Oggie (classic) was not our favorite, but the rosemary chicken pasty was incredible!

Food is first rate - order with confidence- if you can catch the eye of a laid back Goth server who rejects modern American emphasis on customer service. No matter the potato leek soup was exceptional, flavored with Stilton cheese. Outstanding! The pasties were utterly authentic. Perfect crust packed with meat and veg the Oggie tasted like the pies of my youth. The lamb and mint was even better. The sticky toffee pudding was better than excellent, served bubbling with a smooth not too sweet creme anglaise. Superb food twenty ounces of Boddingtons and a lackadaisical server. You may get better service but never better food. Five stars for food, two stars for service equals four overall.

This place kind of looks like a hole in the wall in a strip mall that has little traffic but the food is worth stopping in for, it was awesome since they had a veggie option for every meat option.

Decent price, good pasties, and nice staff.... great combination! So many choices, basically anything you like... calzone style.

If you've never had one of these, get 2! You'll be very happy! The staff was friendly and courteous, and the food was unbeleivable!

Great find. Neat decor with church pews & way larger than looks from outside. Super friendly staff. Food was amazing, absolutely amazing. Didn’t take a pic of the savory pastry we had but it was the NM Pork & it was rock star good. Cannot wait to go back & try more. Best new to us restaurant experience in Vegas in ages

Went there last night with the family, 4 adults and 2 kids (10 & 12). Everyone - kids and all - liked the food, but it's a shame we all couldn't wait to get out of there because the guitar + singer dou were way, WAY too loud and they were bad (I don't mean we didn't like the song selection, they were bad singers. Like being stuck there forced to listen to a mediocre at best Idol audition while you waited for dinner). It was also excessively hot - we were sweating hot - due to a lack of venting the kitchen heat. So if you like sweating and sonic abuse, go on a Friday night. If you just like good food, I'd suggest go here for lunch and enjoy.

Lost a star just for its location, on busy street with no parking, around corner was full and big lot across street was packed. Ended up walking 10 minutes in triple digit heat to reach the door. Greeted and seated right away. Ordered tandoori wings, corn balls both nice. Lamb vindaloo was very hot, Cottage pie was nice too. Sticky toffee pudding was yummy too.

We were visiting from out of town and decided to try something away from the strip. Found this on Yelp which had really great reviews, and having British and Cornish heritage I was excited to visit. If you're looking for a true Cornish pasty this will probably be the closest you'll get-if you stick to the original Cornish pasty. They have a lot of other creative pasties which I would recommend trying. We started off with the leak potato and Stilton soup which was to die for and the fresh country bread that accompanied it was so good. We also had a side of the Cornish meatballs which were also sublime. Oh and probably one of the best scotch eggs you will have. The place has an eclectic vibe and we really liked the atmosphere and the deco. Don't expect a parking lot, you will have to try and find parking around the block, we were lucky as we got there early. But you won't be sorry.

I love pasty and always get some when travelling in Michigan's upper peninsula. I heard about this place in Vegas and had to go. The location is downtown Las Vegas and not the easiest to find parking. The restaurant is staffed by friendly tattooed funky servers. The music is definitely not my taste(funk), BUT Oh my the pasty is to "live for". I ordered the traditional pasty and it was exactly like my mother made back in the 1950's. The crust was amazing and the filling yummy. It was so large, I took half home and ate it the next day (still great). My husband tried the leek potato soup with Stilton cheese. It was served with fresh home made bread and was divine. They will even sell it to you to take home and cook in your own oven. I will definitely go back. They have an interesting beer selection from some local breweries although were out of the one we wanted to try. I would say that if you like Michigan style pasty-you just HAVE to go there. Oh yes, and the seating is on church pews around a long table, so you get to eat with new friends. I did not get a refill on coffee, but other than that, service was good and our waitress was friendly.

This location has seen many 'interesting' business over a number of years but the Cornish Pasty Co is a definite hit. True the pasties are not exactly the real thing but they are pretty good and close to the real thing.....my 'oggie' was a little dry the day I visited. It was lunchtime for me so cant speak to the beer. Great location for lunch if you are nearby or a quick meal before other more expensive activities. Don't be put off by the area....like anywhere in town just be aware of your surroundings.

The Cornish Pastry Company is very much worth a try. It speaks to the product quality at the Las Vegas location that the lack of parking does not deter customers. Heavy foot traffic keeps this location busy. We found our pasties to be a wee bit dry vis-à-vis pasties found in Elko, Nevada and in Menominee, Michigan. We attribute this to a learning curve on our part, because the Cornish Pastry Company menu is far more extensive that other pasty shops that we are accustomed to. We are sure to identify a pasty more to our preference when we continue to visit the Cornish Pasty Company at Las Vegas. ‘tis our opinion that the music is “dance-club-loud.” Our preference is for a quieter dining menu so that we chat. But as stated previously the Las Vegas location is immensely popular and very much worth a visit.

Cornish Pasty offers great flavored pasties amidst a fun atmosphere. There are an array of different flavors available. The menu reads like a verifiable smorgasbord of inspired pasties. My personal favorites are the Tikka Masala and the Chicken Pot Pie. But I have also tried the Carne Adovada and the Shepherd’s Pie versions, and everything has been delightful.

We like the Cornish Pasty in Arizona, so we arrived to Las Vegas late and wanted easy food and good beer. This was a great spot and I had never seen this arts (um, read: hipster??) district and I was intrigued! It was too late to explore but had we more time I would have come back to see what's up in this area. Looked like some good restaurants and shops. Our server was..hohum but polite and ok. It was a Friday night so it had a more of a drinking night out feel, but honestly was still pretty mild. I enjoyed it and always wish my husband and I would share a dish - it is a LOT of food :) You might want to try sharing at first and see how that goes. To an out of towner this area might seem a bit risky, but I saw a lot of people walking so must not be too bad if someone is taking care to be safe, etc? Ok, now that I wrote it I don't KNOW - so always go with someone! lol
Fathers Day celebration
Took dad here for Father's Day dinner. He's from England, so thought it would be a great treat. Menu is chock full of selections. The new location is nice and clean, parking is a bit of a bear. Food is delicious and has a large selection of beers. Staff was attentive and friendly. Would return for a great meal.
