My wife and I dined here for lunch. We both had an Iced Tea and we both ordered the $21.95 Prime Rib Special. My wife had the Beef Barley Soup and I had a salad. Great Blue Cheese dressing. We both ordered the Prime Rib medium and they came out perfect. She had a baked potato and I mashed. YUM! Both dinners came with bread rolls and veggies. Excellent cuts of Prime Rib. This is perhaps the best dining deal in Las Vegas. Great service.

Here for 3 days and must have eaten here 4-5 times with the family. Huge menu with daily specials and the 14.95 steak or prime rib meal is offered everyday. 12a.m.- 6 menu is like old Vegas, 4-5.00 plates. Had to be 100 people in line at 1 a.m.

We were once again vacationing in Las Vegas and it happened to be a Monday when seniors can pay with half points so our breakfast destination was a given. The only change was on our arrival the cafe was in process of being cleaned so we headed a few doors down to Don Vito's where the cafe menu was being offered. My wife wisely requested eggs Benedict which proved to be good though over sauced. My southwest omelet with hatch chilies, melted cheeses and sour cream should not and will not be ordered again. Sides were very good so we will be back on a future Monday.

We ate breakfast here the two mornings we were staying at South Point Hotel. The food was served quickly, nice presentation, generous portions, delicious & filling. The hosts & servers were very friendly & accommodating.

Saddest Steak Sandwich in the history of "philly" steak sandwiches. Cold steak, cold coagulated cheese that was maybe melted at one time and the coldest hardest french fries that I have ever had served! Topped with a wilted piece of lettuce, and three sad little parched pickles on the side. My lunch was the worse disappointment in Las Vegas. Stick with the breakfast

We ate here 4 times during a 3-day stay. The prices were great, the food was always good and the portions were, in my opinion, too much for one person.

My friends and I had lunch as locals. He ordered gluten free lunch and wanted more than 1 entree. The waitress said per customer only 1 entree. HOW BAD is this ! Then my otherc friend and I ordered chinese food. It came with eggroll . My friend wanted horeseradish for his prime rib and we wanted sweet and sour sauce and soy sauce for our chinese food .NO ONE ever came back . Finally we asked 2 more times . Got sweet and sour sauce nothing else. Vert Poor service all new people . I rate this place 000 . They also dictatwd how much we can order

Where in the world you can order only one dish? My husband and I went here for breakfast . I ordered one for me and one for my husband but my husband is still in the Restroom. The Manager said they will NOT PUT THE ORDER in the Computer UNLESS the person is around and it should only be ONE ORDER per person. They said that's the new policy of the "OWNER".

The Coronado Cafe in the South Point Casino and Hotel is a great casual dining restaurant that is open 24 hours! They have excellent pricing on early morning breakfast (less than $5.00 if I remember correctly) and one of the best steak/prime rib specials in town. It is offered around the clock and gives you the choice of a 16 oz. porterhouse cut steak or prime rib with salad, choice of potato (baked or fries), Texas toast and onion rings for $14.95!!!! I had this special twice while I stayed there! I'm a fan of the porterhouse! It was very flavorful, tender and juicy! When I return, I am going straight to the Coronado for this special!!!

The breakfast was very good and reasonable, from 11-11 there is a $15 special fkrprime rib or steak. The service was great

We ate here when the line was too long at the Sunday Buffet. Prime Rib Special was outstanding! Portion size was good and sides were just what we wanted. Servers were very busy, but still provided excellent service. Highly recommend the $17.95 Prime Rib or Porterhouse special! I've paid a lot more for a lot less!!

Under 20 mins drive from the Strip located inside the South Point Hotel and Casino , after visit my friends in Henderson , we all end up here for there ' Late Nite Specials and where can you get a 7oz Steak and Eggs at 2am in the morning for under $7 and Vegas never sleep ! the dining room half full , my flavor meal here is the Porterhouse Steak or Prime Rib , but the late ninte special is amazing great deal , for that price , it is not high end quality , but flavourful and good size portion my steak (MR ) juicy tasty but little too medium for me , but I finished it all any way , service okay , people here for the food not for the service , every one do enjoyed their meal , leave happy and full , so if you visit Vegas ,keep this restaurant in mind , great deal ,

We planned to take in the buffet at Southpoint. However, just about everybody else in the world had the same idea. Not surprising since it was a Friday night. The line stretched on interminably with probably an hour or more to wait for entrance. Therefore, we opted for this place for dinner. There was a line, but we were seated very quickly. Service was fast and efficient, and our waiter was courteous and attentive. The chicken Malibu with mashed potato was very tasty. It comes with a salad or soup. The country fried steak is also a good option. All in all, a good dining experience.

The Coronado Cafe has faced some real challenges with the Covid restrictions imposed by Nevada's governor, but for the most part very little has changed except the 50% of the tables that remain closed. The line to get in moves much more slowly as a result, but the staff is game and appear to be working very hard all of the time. All of these people deserve a raise! They're really the heart of the hotel and make us feel at home, so we eat many Coronado meals during our annual week long stay for the Mecum Motorcycle Auction. Even though Covid required the auction to move to the Convention Center, which is ten miles away, we elected to stay at the Southpoint anyway partially because we love the Coronado and its outstanding staff. There's a dinner special every night, the menu offers everything anyone could want from a cafe, and we never get tired of eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner here. If you haven't tried the Coronado Cafe, you should. We always leave happy!

Whilst South Point has improved enormously over the last few years, with increased volumes of customers brought about by Covid and the overpriced Strip, the restaurants inhabit the same old skin that they used to. This means that no matter what the quality of the food on your plate, the ambience of the dining room is still that of your mother’s parlour. Perhaps because of the loyalty of the casino, the staff remain the same, too - and they weren’t trained for a higher end service, just the basic ‘value for money’ folks with no frills. So, whilst our prime ribs were perfectly good, tender and plenty of flavour, the accompaniments were simply okay. But we were hungry, and we felt like more red meat, and our prime ribs did the trick. The menu is quite extensive, with plenty of Asian dishes amongst a fairly wide choice. I’m sure my comments would apply across the board. So, only come here if you want something hearty, quick and reasonably priced - don’t come with expectations of top quality ambience or service.

After a late check-in we thought we'd try the Cafe. They had a special on Prime Rib and Porterhouse dinners. They start by serving a basket of crackers and warm dinner rolls with butter to your table. Then the soup or salad then the main meal. The only thing missing from the steaks were the legs! Huge portion of beef. Seasoned to perfection. Entree also came with a side. I had the baked potato which came with all the sides. Large menu to choose from with a variety. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I had their Prime rib special $14.95 for a 10 oz prime rib, salad and baked potato. It seems like all of their restaurants almost carry some kind of prime rib. Others had Liver and Onions and a Cobb Salad. Nice presentation dish for the Cobb Salad.

Located in the South Point Casino. The have a very large menu and they serve Chinese food from 11am to Midnight. Open 24/7 with excellent Graveyard Specials. My wife and I dined here for lunch and they were packed. I had an omelet with hashbrowns and toast. My wife chose the Sunday Special that is a complete turkey dinner with stuffing, mashed potatos, yams and veggies. The food and service was very good.

I've never tasted a more bland omelette; two breakfasts in a row (had to give it a second chance), not even cheese could save them. The hash browns were good and in good-sized portions. They were able to provide gluten-free toast the second visit, so we were happy about that. That being said, breakfasts are pretty cheap, considering it's Vegas. And they have a midnight menu you can enjoy for pennies.

My husband and I eat here at least once per week since he is on a bowling league. The food is excellent. He generally orders the prime rib which is the best in town. I generally order Chinese and am always happy with the food. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. Wait time for service and for the food is minimal.. The prices are reasonable. I only wish South Point was closer to our house so we could go more often.

We all had something different- everyone was pleased with their choice, a good portion and delicious. I got the days special, beef with mashed potatoes. Delicous!

We ate here almost every morning of our stay. The Cafe is busy and sometimes you have a wait but the food is good and hot. And that makes all the difference in the world. Service it depends on the day. Most of the staff is nice and friendly. The drink personal is very quick and efficient. We really like this Cafe.

Our son lives near the Southpointe Casino. When we visit him we often go to the casino and eat at this restaurant. Always very happy with the food quality, the selection and the service. Very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend.

Very good place to eat within South Point. They have daily specials that change everyday. Service and food are excellent. Staff can answer any question you have about their menu. They are open 24 hours a day. Have both American and Chinese menus. The Chinese meals at night are very big and can be split by two people. The also have a midnight to 6am special menu that features meals at a very discounted price. Very clean and fast service. Haven't had a bad meal there yet and we've been there over 50 times in the past several years.

The Coronado Cafe at South Point Casino offers pretty much anything one would want to eat, sort of like an old fashioned diner. The food is average to very good, and prices are reasonable. I usually pick a sandwich, salad or their $15 porterhouse steak. That steak dinner is a bargain, along with their Graveyard Special. The latter is served from midnight until 6:00 AM, and a half pound cheeseburger costs around $4.00. The burger and fries are delicious! They also offer breakfast specials, but I prefer the burger plate. They also have daily specials that are sometimes quite good. The Chinese food menu items although plentiful, are just average in my opinion.

My wife and I dined here for lunch on this visit. She had a tasty Turkey with Swiss cheese sandwich that came with chips. I had a Southwestern Omelet with hashbrowns and toast. Very good food and service. I will be back soon. Photos added. Management should be proud. If looking for bargains look at the Daily Specials.

I had a very good BLT Sandwich with fries and my wife had the Chinese lunch special that came with Chinese noodles, rice, egg roll and chicken with veggies. Great service. I will return. Photos added.

Located right off the main gambling floor, this place seems open round the clock. Service was very quick and attentive the three times we ate there both at "normal" breakfast hours and the midnight menu. We had breakfast the times we were there. Eggs were cooked as ordered. Biscuits and gravy wouldn't pass south of the Mason Dixon line but frankly weren't bad. Prices, especially for the midnight menu were reasonable.

Love having breakfast here. They have a pretty good variety to choose from. Ordered their spam and eggs, delish. Also had lochs and bagels, waffles, there is just so much to choose from!

We ate at several places during the bowling tournament and was happy with our meal at the Coronado Cafe. Good breakfast but lots of other choices on the menu. I try the loco moco pretty much anywhere I find it and it was pretty good. Wife had the standard bacon, eggs and hash browns and while it is pretty hard to mess up, it was good. Maybe a dollar more than the Del Mar Deli and it was served on a real plate instead of in a to go box. Looked much better also. Good service.

I went here for the late night special of 7 oz new york strip amd eggs for $4.99. Meal was tastey especially for that price. The staff was real friendly. I’d go again.

I had an extra night in Vegas so I needed a place for a quick dinner before I played in a poker tournament. Although the entire place was packed, the wait was no more than 5 mins. This was at 4pm on a Thursday. The wait staff was very fast and came back several times to re-fill my soda. The food was great. I ordered the $19.95 Porterhouse steak special. This is not the best steak in Vegas but it was the very best $19.95 steak you can get. This came will all of the sides too. Everything was cooked as ordered. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. The wide range of menu items was so great that you could come back every day for weeks and having something new.

Great prices for very large portions. The prime rib was huge and juicy. Service was quick and friendly. Good menu with lots of variety. Comfortable seating.

I used to go from midnight to 5 or 6 am for cheap eats. But I kept getting sick...not realizing why. I went for a full price lunch and ordered a salad. Big mistake. Someone had run over the iceberg lettuce with their truck before they served it to me. "Fresh" vegetables they weren't. Hungry though, I ate it all. Uh, whoops. My bad. Partner had a hamburger that wasn't eatable but the server couldn't figure out what the issue could be (raw hamburger when he ordered med-well???) It's so close to where I live but I just can't do this to myself again.

We ate here twice; once for a lite dinner and once for breakfast. They believe in large portions, that's for sure. The 1/2 sandwich has more meat than most full sized sandwiches. Definitely filling.

My wife and I dined here for lunch. She had the Turkey Dinner Sunday special and I had the Tuna Fish sandwich with chips. Another visit with excellent service. Michael Gaughan (owner) should be very proud of his staff. I added photos of our visit. I will return soon.

We had dinner Thanksgiving night and had the set price menu! Alvin like the chipmunk and Juan gave outstanding service and the food was great! I am sure they had a long day but they were so wonderful and friendly! It made a very enjoyable evening

The food here is great. I would like to specifically talk about the service I received. I went to Coronado Cafe for lunch on Saturday, 10/24, at about 1pm. I had 2 $40 off coupons that I was planning on using. I was with my parents for a total of 3 of us. We ordered our food and it came in a timely manner. When we were almost done with our food, we decided to order a little more food bc we wanted something different and to be able to use all the comps available on my coupon, figuring we could just take home what we didn’t finish. Our server (Ana) came out and told us that her supervisor wasn’t going to allow us to order more food bc we had already ordered 3 entrees. I told her that we do this all the time and it’s never been an issue before. She apologized and went to the back. Her supervisor (Cecelia) then came out and asked if we were using a comp or a coupon. I told her I had a coupon. She said that since we had already ordered 3 entrees, we would only be able to or an appetizer or dessert. That if they brought out the extra food we ordered, we’d have to eat it there since they don’t do take out. So I asked if they were going to sit there and watch us eat the food. She said no but they want to make sure that we weren’t ordering take out. I told her that we weren’t full yet and I have comps available and we wanted more food. She said ok and went to the back. I was under the impression that she went to put the order in for the additional food we ordered. She came out five minutes later and said she called her manager and her manager said we couldn’t order more food on the coupons bc we had already ordered 3 entrees. I was astounded. As a player that has been coming to not only South Point, but Coronado Cafe as well, since the night it opened, I was shocked. I’m in no way a huge player but I’ve lost quite a bit not only this year at South Point, but since they’ve opened. I was there the night it opened when it was still South Coast. I earned the comp coupons based on my loss and now I’m being told I can’t order more than 1 entree??? I don’t understand how my business would be turned away (comp or paid), especially during these hard times. If someone could please reply to me regarding this, I would really appreciate it. As of now, I will no longer be dining at Coronado Cafe and will not be recommending it to all of my family when they come in to visit from California and Texas.

I was wanting breakfast at 8 p-.m. and they served it. The pancakes were so fluffy and eggs were good. The turkey patty wasn't too good. Will go back for sure.

We were so happy to find a great place to eat at midnight when our flight came in. The breakfast was really outstanding and only $4.99. Then later in the stay we had other things that were also great and the Cobb salad was so big that two people could easily share (even if there is a share price its well worth it!). The servers were very quick and kind.

We enjoy eating at this restaurant for any meal time. There is a great selection from Pasta to Chinese. Prices are reasonable compared to hotel restaurants on the strip.

Typical coffee shop decor and rarely a wait time. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and unorganized, but the food was fresh hot and in abundance. Mongolian beef a plus and breakfast ( especially graveyard priced ) is phenomenal. Steak and Eggs $5.95 a 7-7-7 winner.

From the oatmeal to the sunny side up eggs to the requested extra crisp bacon all came perfectly cooked. The staff are friendly, quick and helpful. Food is served quickly and hot. Will remember this for future visits.

Located at the South Point Hotel & Casino. Open 24/7. I ordered the Sunday Turkey Dinner Special with an added side salad. The food and service were very good, but the portion sizes were much smaller than in the past. I added many photos and will return.

Coronado Cafe is located in the South Point Hotel and Casino. It is the hotel's 24 hour coffee shop. The menu is long and varied and everything looked good. Also has a late-night ls menu that reminds me of the old school Vegas graveyard specials. I had the Porterhouse special. It includes a 16 ounce porterhouse, salad, rolls, onion rings and choice of potato for $17.95. This is an exceptional value. This is just one of many top-notch value dining options located at this property. Reminds me of the good-old-days of Vegas from 20-30 years ago.

We go here for the midnight specials when we visit South Point. The food was good, the service was very good, and the value is excellent.

Café is conveniently located in the middle of the casino and is full most of the day. They have terrific meal specials throughout the day and night but if you don’t order those the prices can be pretty steep. Three dollars for a cuppa coffee is a little ridiculous. Breakfasts are good and lots of selections. Staff works well but had trouble each time we were there getting our drink orders correct and refilling our drinks. Seem to struggle with that for some reason and we visited for times throughout the week. Worth a stop for a quick bite but just don’t expect very much

SouthPointe Casino in Las Vegas Nevada is the only resort worth staying at in Las Vegas! Currently we are at the Paris and never again. We go to South Pointe because of gems like Coronado Cafe. The staff is excellent. The food was excellent and they cater to people with food allergies. The price was right and we really enjoyed ourselves. Worth our time and money!

We enjoyed our breakfast there were four of us and we got the food we wanted. We hope to go there again on our next trip.

We went here for lunch on a Sunday. Very short wait in line but I have seen a fairly long line at times. I had the daily special and it was very good and a lot of it. They have a fairly wide selection on their menu. Both the quality of the food and the service are good.

I was here for the first time and i decided to give it a try and the shrimp fried rice was very good.I went back a second nite and had more. But the wings were okay. Needs improvement. Also if you go after Midnight there is a special discounted menu. And service was very good.

Whether there gor the Chinese menu. (House special soup is a meal in itself), the nightly special. (Affordable even if the casino has been unkind), or their very complete breakfast menu, you will not be disappointed. BTW the waffles are made with malt for a little extra yum!

It is the best locals keep secret , the best eat out dinner in South Point Hotel and Casino , they offer steak house , Prime Rib restaurant , and 24 hours Cafe , unbelievable prices , quality very good , only 20mins drive from the strip , Local never go out to the Strip eat or play , only tourist do , South Point have unique business concept , Good food lower prices , people will come , this also my top ten restaurants have to visit when you in Vegas , The Coronado Cafe is 24 hours , for Breakfast , Lunch , Dinner also the midnight Special , from $2.45 to $ 5.45 , it is cost next to nothing , the midnight Special , the dinning room is spacious and big , menu is huge , it is a 70's Dinner style , the night special only allowed order one entre per person , no substitute , my Steak and Egg (MR ) very nice . about 7 0z cut , for $5.45 ! where on earth you can find a price like that , menu is huge , over all ,the quality in food and service very good ! now I now where to go for my midnight craving ! due to the current pandemic . lot of restaurants on the strip do closed early , no more 24 hours ! great place for OWL ! service very friendly , so come by try it out !

Ate breakfast there two days. Eggs benedit was good. Husband had eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy. All was good, gravy has a different taste than we're used to. Good value located in the South Point hotel and casino.

ate here while visiting the casino...food was good, service good, go here if you want to avoid high prices of the other restaurants and still enjoy your meal...portions large

The 10 oz. Prime Rib and 16 oz. Porterhouse Steak were a HIT! Thank you trip advisors for the correct information on this opportunity. Both options were very good. The price ....STELLAR! $18.95. This does include potato choice, soup or salad and plenty of condiments for a satisfying dinning experience. This is a WIN, WIN folks! Great taste, perfect portion, and definately an affordable price. Probably the BEST deal we participated in while visiting Las Vegas. The South Point Casino and Hotel house this restaurant and after a week exploring Las Vegas and its shows, strip, and dining venues, we found South Point to be our comfort zone. It was unfortunate that the Super Bowl occured during our planned stay, but, with all the crowds and activities that the Super Bowl brought in, South Point Casino was playable, the restaurants were enjoyable and service oriented, the movie theather, bowling center, and arena provided pleasant entertainment. If we ever come back, it will be back to this area, away from the strip. You best keep your wallet WIDE open with a visit to downtown Las Vegas. It's not for the average citizen anymore.

We had breakfast here twice during our Vegas stay. I love their Loco Mocos! Nice relaxing atmosphere within the South Point Casino. Prices are pretty fair, food is good and service was excellen!t They also have cheap specials after midnight

We had breakfast at the Coronado Cafe. Wide menu choices, very good service, and food was great as well.

Breakfast is normally ok. Its very busy and some of the server's are good and others not so good. We enjoyed getting hot food done the way we wanted. Also we had dinner there on Sunday night with friends and we enjoyed the food but we ordered a mixed drink that didn't arrive until the end of the meal. No apologies, no nothing. We left disappointed.

Great value during the week. And you can use points from your playersw club cards. A little pricey on weekends, espe3cdially if you are there for just breakfast

This restaurant had an awesome Prime rib dinner every night for only $14.95. They also have a cheap overnight breakfast until 6am. We took advantage of the breakfast before our flight back home.

We had breakfast here our first day there. Maria P. and Anna were awesome. I had ham and eggs. The ham was too good to be true. I ate the whole piece and it was delicious.

This is a nice place to come and sit down for any meal. The food is fast and freshly made not a buffet and the service is great too. Never felt like I was going to be rushed out to get the next people at my table.

Great for a casual meal with dining room service. Breakfast is my favorite of the 3 main meals of the day that we have had in the past. Eggs always cooked as requested. Several choices of bread for toast. Coffee is always fresh - not bitter or burnt tasting. Generous portion of hash brown potatos. Service was efficient and friendly. i

Quick service offered by attentive staff but the food was just ok. Its ok for a quick bite but thats all about really

Really enjoymed the meal and the service for my breakfast at this place located off the casino floor. Menu had good selections and the food quality was great. Will definitely be coming back here during my next visit.

We tried this place for the first time in July. The food was fresh and plentiful. The service was good,]. They have many specials. I will return to try.

My mother likes going to the South Point, and we decided to grab a bite before we started losing money, so, we stopped in. the specials were a 10oz prime rib dinner, and a 14oz t-bone dinner, so we thought, why not. the prime rib was similar to what you get at Primarily Prime Rib, came in an au jus bath, and was really tender. The t-bone was well seasoned. Both came with salad, potato and veggies. It was a nice way to start the day.

This was our second time eating at the Coronado Café this visit. We visited there last year also. Great food, great prices, comfortable booths with lots of table space. Service was excellent as usual. Able to enjoy a meal without being distracted or disturbed by others.

I had Pad Thai and my wife had Chow Mien and both were excellent. Fresh and very hot. A great value. Service was friendly and attentive.

Stopped in here for a meal after a day of gambling and shopping ... the salad topped with chicken was awful ... the greens were wilted, and the chicken was so dry that it was barely edible ... the grilled salmon filet was overcooked and very dry ... the fried shrimp were obviously out of a box or bag of frozen pre-fried shrimp ... awful ... the only good thing I had was the dinner salad, and that was very good !

Very busy place. Quite a diverse menu. We tried a few dishes of Chinese food. It was okay, not great, not bad, but edible. I probably would not choose to eat Chinese food here again. Service was good, and the food was prepared fast.

My wife and I dined here at the South Point Casino. We were seated immediately and both had an Iced Tea. We both ordered the Prime Rib Special that came with bread, soup or salad, baked potato and a very nice 10oz. cut of Prime Rib. YUM! (This is a true cut of Prime Rib, not a roast claiming to be Prime Rib). The service was exceptional. Management should be very proud. I will return very, very soon. This place is a win-win!

Good food and service at a good price . The line to be seated moves quickly even though it is intimidating at t8mes.

The only reason we eat here is because it stays open later than the other restaurants. They are always slow as molasses no matter how many people are there. The food is ok. My husband ordered a steak dinner with a baked potato and butter and the potato was just thrown on the plate, whole and not even sliced open. The manager was very persistent on getting us to leave after we ate. She was really getting annoying even though we hadn’t been finished for very long.

My wife and I dined here on Mothers Day. She had a breakfast dish that she enjoyed. I had the Mothers Day Special. It was a soup or salad. I had the salad, steak, veggies, potatos and dessert. It was very good. The service was good. I will return. Photos added.

Located in the South Point Hotel & Casino. Open 24/7. Excellent specials. My wife and I dined here for lunch. We both had an Iced Tea. She had the Salisbury Steak dinner with a soup. I had the Chicken Fried Steak with eggs, toast and potato's. The food and service were excellent on this visit. I added photos and will return again soon.

If you like a nice Prime Rib then hit this place. All four of us ordered it with each getting a different cooking points. I got the medium rare it was spot on, juicy with great flavor. Service was great with a quick refill of the water or soda when needed. I will be back for sure.

Once again, a lunch that was too large resulted in us grabbing a bite to eat at this restaurant later that evening. This time my wife and I chose the French onion soup which again was very good and salt lite. I also ordered a side salad that was primarily Romaine lettuce with a bottled dressing.

It has been a long time since we visited, but we went on Sunday for breakfast. In fairness, it was Labor Day weekend and the hotel was packed. We had good timing as we only had about a 10 minute wait before being seated. Service left a bit to be desired, but later learned that the beverage server was working two stations since someone did not come in for the shift. Despite this, he was very cordial and attempted to keep our glasses and cups full of water and coffee Food itself is good - nothing fancy, but nutritious and filling at reasonable prices. Great selection of all foods. Coffee was extremely good - hot, not bitter. Real half and half served in the little tubs which for me is a big positive. Seating is comfortable and tables are widely spaced for ease in walking around. Complimentary parking in the open or garage as well as valet service available.

This is a good place for breakfast especially if staying at the Grandview next door. Prices are reasonable and I believe it is open all night with special pricing. The food is good and plentiful. Usually not a line as the restaurant is large and open.

We had heard good things about this restaurant as a place for breakfast. We have to say our experience was less than satisfactory. We both enjoy a good Biscuit and Gray meal and they supposedly had a good one. It started with the biscuits. It seemed they got use Hockey Pucks from the Golden Knights put a mediocre gravy on top. We did get a side order of sausage which was extremely good. Service was slow and poor, it was a bit busy but enough to justify the quality of service. Coat for the food was good if the food had been good, however, $3.49 for common coffee was too much. There is a Denny’s down the street where we will get Breakfast to remainder of our stay.

My wife and I each had a reuben sandwich with fries and water to drink and the bill was over $30 plus tip. It was good but the same sandwich at most other Vegas restaurants, including some of the higher end casino restaurants, is much cheaper. Prices have really gone up at the Coronado Cafe since my last visit.

Very nice staff of waiters, waitresses. Broad range of food items. Great BLTs. Reasonably fast, but do not rush you. Recommend.

Located at the South Point Casino. Open 24/7. My wife and I dined here for lunch. My wife had the Turkey Wrap with Potato Chips. I had the Prime Rib Special with a dinner salad and mashed potato's. It was huge. The service was bad on this visit. We were seated at 2:30pm and the food arrived 50 minutes later. It turns out there is a shift change at 3pm. Other tables ordered after us and were done eating before our food arrived. I will no longer show up during a shift change. I added a dozen photos of our visit.

After a concert we popped in here. They served breakfast at midnight - it was awsome! Had a egg croissant & hash browns...

We breakfast here 3 times the week we stayed at South Point. The food was alway fresh and hot. My wife loves their omelets and they were very good. One of my favorite dish's is Spam and eggs and it was very good. One morning my wife and I split their breakfast burrito and it was plenty. The bagels and breads were also fresh and very good.. The service was very good. Again ,my only concern was coffee was $3.25 a cup. (too Much) https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g45963-d1492256-r431370905-Coronado_Cafe-Las_Vegas_Nevada.html#

Came for dinner but this is a 24/7 restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and midnight specials. Had some soup and a a baked potato; we also had a Chinese dish. Chinese menu is available everyday after 11AM. Very good service but this place can get crowded when big rodeo events are here. Try to come at the shoulder hours. Some people like to come for the late night specials. The restaurant is located along the back wall of the lobby on the way to the rodeo arena.

Ate there for 3 breakfasts and 1 dinner. All were excellent, well priced and came with fast service. If you have Victor as a waiter you are in for a treat.

Had the best porterhouse steak here prior to going to NFR viewing. $14.95 for steak or a 10 oz.. prime rib comes with salad and choice of potatoes and warm rolls. Best deal in town and service was great.

This was a restaurant inside the South Point Casino, which is huge. The food was very well prepared. The menu selection was very large with some additional Asian meals after the lunch hour. The portions were large. Prices were reasonable.

This is a very busy Cafe but the serve was friendly and the food arrived in a timely manner and id was hot and very good.

Good food, but better prices at off hours. This café has something for everyone. Do not be in a hurry if during convention dates.

We went on a Monday mid-afternoon for a late lunch. It was not busy and we were immediately seated. Daily meal specials offered and Monday was Salisbury steak with mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes and veg of the day (broccoli and cauliflower). All the food was tasty - sauce flavorful, steak cooked thoroughly, creamy mashed potatoes and tender, but not overcooked broccoli and cauliflower. It was served quickly. Portions were generous. Service was satisfactory. The cafe area is comfortable. Noise level is moderate where conversation can easily be done. Although it is located outside the casino area, no smoke seemed to filter into the area.

never had hot fresh food out of the grill after 12am. they cook food put it on the side then heat it up when order comes in, reminding you the quality of food is excellent, but it is junk food when it sits out of the grill. maybe the company should do something about that. unless they command them to do so.

I ordered eggs benedict for a late breakfast. It was overpriced, considering you are in a busy casino complete with cigarette smoke. The eggs were fine (hard to ruin those), the ham was rubbery and highly processed with a plastic-like edge. The waitress never asked how my meal was, she probably the answer. Hashbrowns were also unimpressive. Never again.

Service is Great & food is delivered in a reasonable amount of time even when it is packed. Food is a good diner quality.

Open 24/7 staff very friendly and your drinks are never empty. Food portions are great and very reasonable in price.

We ate a number of times at Coronado Cafe this trip. We had several of the breakfast egg choices, all were cooked perfectly. The servings were large and we never left hungry. They even cooked the hash browns crispy when asked. Our servers were fantastic and super efficient. The only thing we didn't care for was the coffee.

Had the 24oz porterhouse steak that came with potato, onion rings garlic toast and soup. Steak was cooked perfect to my liking and everything else was top quality for the price point. Service was timely and often. Can't recommend this place enough. Coming back to try more of their menu which was huge.

the food at this cafe is very good specials daily for only 7.95 and the prime rid and steak specials are ecellent

Went for breakfast. The cafe was less than one third full and there was a lot of wait staff. Yes, the service was very slow. Otherwise, breakfast was breakfast. Hard to screw up an egg meal.

Great menu. Clean. Family-friendly and fast servers. Appeared to be the most popular restaurant in the casino. You won't be disappointed.

On my last business trip I stopped in here for dinner later in the evening after a workout. I ordered an amazing salad-portion size was ridiculous (in a good way) and the bread was excellent. I only ate half the salad, but it was so good I wanted to eat more. The service was good-while i was here an older woman fell and the employees were immediately available, helping her and contacting the appropriate people to make certain she was ok. Thankfully she wasn't seriously injured. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Visited South Beach on the Saturday night on the long weekend. Just flew in and a near hotel so decided we would visit here for a few hours. We were looking for a casual place to have dinner and stumbled upon this cafe. It looked busy but we got seated immediately - Actually quite a few items on the menu to choose from. Our food was brought quickly, very fair prices and food was Good! It as a good casual choice with expedient service so we could get in and out. Would definitely recommend for something casual and good priced options.

THIS is one of the GREATEST places to eat food wasn't bad it was nice for being up at 1 am. But by far the services when it comes to allergies is impeccable. I am around 70% allergic so death is there for me with dairy products. This place took it so professional when they had mistaken my plate for another, checking on me making sure i was ok offered an ambulance etc. If i did start having issues but thankfully i didn't. I recommend this place for phenomenal service, kind, and humble people. The manager was an awesome guy VERY kind and all these people deserve the upmost respect.

I like the variety of food options as I wanted Chinese and my husband wanted American and we got both here! The service is good. The food comes out quickly. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable.

We decided to find an alternative to the buffet, and opted for this venue. Our server was training a new recruit, but the service was still very good, and accommodating to our wishes. We found the cafe was a bit pricey - the buffet would have been cheaper. The quality of the food was about the same.

The casino has free parking available. If you enter the casino from the free parking garage, the Coronado Cafe is back and to the right. You will be seated by the hostess. My server was friendly, helpful, accommodating, and efficient. I ordered a cheeseburger and it was excellent. The ingredients are delivered to you and you assemble the burger yourself. You pay as you exit.

Great service and fantastic food. Everything we ate was always good. And they have this breakfast from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. that is at a much lowered price and is as good as the regular breakfast. My wife loves the steak, eggs, bacon or sausage and toast for under $5.00. And that is the most expensive breakfast between the times listed above. We really love the food throughout the day also. This is a huge stop for your food needs while you are at Southpoint casino.

We had a salad of the day special. It was awesome! Nice portion with very fresh ingredients. The service was fast and friendly.

We had breakfast there and there was a huge selection and free bloody Mary's, we didn't try any but this hotel gives great value. Orange juice was kind of weird though, tasted like a mix of Tang and orange juice.

his restaurant almost always seems busy be it morning, noon or night, weekend or weekday. We once again visited on a Monday when seniors are favored by being charged 1/2 the usual number of slot points. Once again the spouse and I chose easy over eggs, bacon, sourdough toast and hash browns as our breakfast fare. Everything was as good as could be expected. this place can be hit and miss but this time was good.Had the chicken escolope and it was very nice. Large juicy chicken breast in crispy bread crumbs service was quick and efficient.

This is inside South Point Casino. They have a good selection in the menu and the prices are reasonable. Nothing extremely fancy but the food is very tasty.

Mondays have been designated as senior days at the South Point when those of the appropriate age possessing an adequate number of slot points may dine at any of the company restaurants and pay with 1/2 points. I am a senior with sufficient points so I treated my better half to breakfast at this cafe. We each ordered easy over eggs with hash browns and bacon plus wheat toast. The eggs cooked to perfection, the bacon a bit too thin, the hash browns as crispy as I prefer and the toast was toast. Service was good and came with a smile.

On a visit to the South Point Casino one night, we decided to wait for midnight to try the specials that Coronado Cafe offered. We realized just before midnight that many people were waiting for the same thing because the queue to get in was very long, extending to about 45 people. We both had the Steak and Eggs special for $4.99. It comes with hash brown and toast. My wife had over medium eggs and I had scrambled (real) eggs. It was a filling meal. Our total bill with water came up to $10.76. We came back for some more two more times. Tip: Get your steak medium, not medium well or well. I will post photos when I retrieve them from my phone.

In South Point Casino. Price wise, it falls in the middle of the restaurants in the casino. Stopped in for dinner. Wife had 10 oz prime rib. It was excellent for a more than reasonable price. I had a Reuben that was OK but not great. I had a bowl of chili that was also just OK. IT was the PR that tipped the scales.

Before our drive back to Cali we decided to have breakfast at this location. There was a line of people waiting to be seated and I was hesitant to wait thinking it would take forever. Wife insisted we wait. Forever was five minutes. Service was quick and friendly. Staff were moving about in a quick fashion. They were hustling to get customers fed. However the it took 30 minutes from the time we ordered our food until we got it. All I had was pancakes and a side of sausage wife had country breakfast platter. I drank three cups of coffee before the food came. Pancakes were warm and so was the sausage. Almost cool to where I would ask to cook another order. It could have been a bad day for the waiter or chef. I don’t know but I expected better especially seeing the wait staff busting their butts to take care of the customers. Perhaps I’ll try this place again next time. Just my opinion and I hope I’m wrong.

Food was bland and served lukewarm: if you’re looking for QUANTITY iso QUALITY this is your go to spot I had the sea bass and it tasted as though it had been sitting quite awhile. Based on the orders around the table, your best bet is to order breakfast. Service was prompt and attentive to our large party and the restaurant was packed. Food has really slipped at the casinos on Vegas compared to years past.

The food itself wasn’t the issue…the issue was our waitress, Barbara. From the moment she sat us down, she gave us a bad attitude. We didn’t understand why and we continued to be very pleasant with her. When she took our orders, the waitress under her, Anavic, would come and bring out our drinks. Anavic would ask us if there was anything else we needed, never Barbara. When my mom asked Barbara for a fresh refill of coffee because there was a NOTICEABLE difference between the coffee Barbara gave her and the coffee Anavic would bring-Barbara cut her off and rudely exclaimed all the coffee was from the same dispenser, so what our EYES were telling us was a lie. After seeing Lisa, a supervisor, come our way, I explained everything to her and while I’m explaining to her how Barbara had treated us, SHE witnessed with her own eyes Barbara march over to us with an attitude and demand to know what we’re telling Lisa she did now!?! Lisa, told her to go away and I told her that she could keep doing what she had been doing this whole time and ignore what I’m telling her supervisor. When Lisa saw it was Barbara, she didn’t seem surprised at all! Lisa tried to compensate us for our soups, but we didn’t want compensation because we didn’t come to this place to try to get some free Won Ton soup! We came to eat and enjoy our meal, not to have to deal with HORRENDOUS customer service. Lisa, took off our drinks and we had to tell her how AWESOME Anavic was towards us compared to Barbara. We have NEVER faced this much open hostility from ANYONE let alone a restaurant employee over absolutely nothing! The food was pretty good, but what, SEVERELY, put a damper on our whole experience was the unjust treatment we received from Barbara.

Had a late breakfast there and the food was wonderful. The price was reasonable as well. Also noticed the specials and they were out of this world.

You have eleven places to eat in Southpoint. The Coronado Cafe offers average quality food at a reasonable price. The line to wait for a table was about twenty minutes for us. Then to get a waitress to take our order was another twenty minutes. The food was plentiful and filling. I ordered the Southpoint special breakfast which was basically OBrien potatoes, with pieces of sausage and cheese covered with three eggs. Two pieces of toast accompanied this dish. The coffee refills were frequent thanks to a secondary helper. The menu offers daily specials at good prices. So on Sundays between 11am and 10pm it’s Turkey with all the trimmings. So if you in the casino and don’t want the calorie bomb of the buffet the Coronado Cafe will give you a moderate calorie bomb at half the price.

The place was very busy so I am thinking the food would fresh and served hot.....wrong! The waffle was so hard and cold the butter would not melt. I had a side order of potatoes and they were cold. The biscuits and gravy were ok and at least they were warm. The breakfast meats were tasty and the OJ was delicious. Service was just ok, had to keep flagging down service staff to get refills on coffee.

We went for breakfast and ordered the most straightforward 2 eggs, bacon, toast plate. Of course the place was packed, we had to wait a bit, but it seemed that for the full house, there was not that much time before our food came. I noticed ours came before others who had been longer (because it was eggs not French Toast). It was a very good breakfast, solid value. Service was fine and I would eat there again.

Huge menu, fast, friendly service. Open 24 hours - they have a great late night menu! Their coffee is the best in whole place. And even though it's inside the casino, you don't really hear all the noise.

Steak and eggs for less than five dollars after midnight! Perfect after a night on the strip. Check out the rest of the midnight menu too! Great values for good food.

We were planning for a movie at South Point and decided to have breakfast at the resort. We opted for the Coronado Cafe and were taken care of by "Victor" (who was wonderful). I ordered the Waffle with a side of bacon, while my bestie ordered the Two-Egg breakfast with sausage patties. The patties were enormous and I ended up sharing with her. Everything was tasty, standard diner fare but with stellar service to boot. The hotel was in the midst of a rodeo and there were lots of people; however, the staff was conscientious, courteous and swift with all of their guests. I would definitely come back.

Ate here several times. Normally to the Porterhouse special which is good. Also had the Shrimp and Scallops form the Asian menu a couple of times too. Not had anyone complain about the food. Only thing is that it can be a bit slow with the service (and this has happened a few times). Overall, very good, but if you are in a rush go elsewhere. If relaxed and want to take your time - eat here.

Located in South Pointe Casino. One of the less expensive options for eating here. Were here a year ago and had a good experience so returned. First night in town. I had the open turkey sandwich with dressing. Decent quality and good portion. Nothing memorable though. Wife had a sandwich. Service perfunctory. Prices fair.

Great steak and Eggs special. The waitpersons were friendly and efficient. Steak was cooked to perfection for a Graveyard Special

We were seated after waiting only 5 minutes. The waiter was courteous and prompt. We ordered Won Ton soup that had delicious broth and lots of vegetables. The fried rice was very tasty with strips of egg and a generous amount of delicious tender and fresh shrimp Beverage was hot tea which was also very good. This was one of the best Chinese meals we have had anywhere..

Good choices for breakfast, late night or anytime of day. Have a very good Oriental food menu. All servers were excellent and the cashiers were always outstanding and pleasant and they seemed to work round the clock.

In late July 2019, my wife and I had the opportunity to patronize this place twice in two days. On our first visit here (and to the South Point Casino Hotel that houses this restaurant), I had the porterhouse special for $14.99. The wife had the Coronado omelet. Our friend also had the porterhouse special. Since this was the first time in 5 days that we were having something more 'American' than the usual Filipino fare that we've had in the past days of our week-long visit, I was excited. For one, the price was excellent for a 16 oz. steak. For another reason, the place was relatively elegant. The steak came in very dry, even for medium (for me) and medium-well (for our friend) orders. Mine was rubbery, tough and a bit cold. Our friend complained that hers was tasteless. My wife's omelet, which she ordered with ham, had lots and lots of potatoes but she had to pick through the omelet to find the ham. One bright thing about our experience were the wait staff and bussers. Maria (Hispanice lady with a son named Gonzalo) was very friendly, and Gonzalo, who served our drinks, was very attentive. I only have great positive things to say for both of them. I wish I could say the same for the food. On our next visit, which was next day, we came with my wife's high school classmate and this time she did the ordering. She ordered a Chinese soup with crabs, shrimps and scallops and a dish and a main dish with only vegetables (bok choy, mushrooms, asparagus, etc). It was okay. I thought it was a very poor attempt to imitate Chinese cooking. Again, the service (Filipino, I didn't get his name, and once again Gonzalo) was very good. Can't complain. I will submit photos at a later time.

Go to the Garden Café, better quality and price. A very disappointed restaurant for quantity and quality.

Everytime I've eaten here the food has been fresh and tasty, service is always friendly and attentive. The midnight-to-six specials are an amazing value!

We dined at Coronado Cafe during a brief stay at South Point casino hotel. The menu was large, and service was excellent. I had the Sunday night special dinner (roast turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, fresh green beans, and seasoned sweet potatoes), and it was very good. My husband and his friend had large Porterhouse steaks for $16.99, followed by huge desserts.

this restaurant is in the sands point casino. they have Chinese food and American food. lots of items to choose from. we love their wonton soup we had gone there a bunch of times during our visit Tri fromVietnam was our server one night. all I can say is. outstanding service he gave us!!!! good service. good prices

Love this Place. Try the Prime Rib and Really Good Chinese Food . Great Service . It’s a No Frills place and Open all Night . Breakfast is Great and Friendly Service Always. Highly Recommend

Avocado burger is the bomb! One of the best burgers ever had. Very large cafe seating area and very service oriented and pleasant staff. Very busy but quick service. Located inside Southpoint Hotel and Casino.

A gift from the table game manager for our hefty losses. A bit of a line for a table, but nothing like the buffet. Eclectic menu options, but settled on a burger and the porterhouse special. Wife's burger was delicious. My steak, not so much but still okay. Server was a buzz kill. He seemed like he wanted to be anywhere but there. Not at all friendly.

Not sure how many times we ate here, but I think this is the best option for a sit down meal. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here at various times during our stay. The staff is always friendly. We had one traveller leaving early so after returning from dropping him at the airport, we had the early bird breakfast. For one order of steak and eggs and one order of ham and eggs, our bill was less than $10. Great place to eat at South Point.

The Coronado Cafe is great to relax while eating great food, they are very friendly and I made a few friends with the workers. This is a great place to be able to enjoy and visit with your colleagues without having to shout over other noises,

I guess I ordered the wrong thing. I had a California shrimp omelet with hash browns and toast. It was very plain and very fishy. My wife ordered a veggie omelet that she was not impressed with. It seems they changed the menu. Tip to the South Point: Add a chili cheese omelet to the menu for the tens of thousands of Cowboys that visit your property each year. The service was very good. I added photos of my visit and I will give it another shot.

My wife and I stopped into the Coronado Cafe for lunch ans were immediately impressed with how clean and bustling every thing was. I ordered the prime rib special and my wife had the chow mein. The food was wonderful and our waitress was excellent. This has to be the best prime rib special in the city. I would highly recommend.

Everyone in this restaurant is attentive and you get fast service and really good food! It is a clean area and even if you end up standing in line they make sure you are seated and waited on as soon as possible and they work together like a well oiled machine!

Everything was good. They are attentive to allergies. The make you fill out a list of what you are allergic to and they really check it. Great service. Nice portion sizes as well. The presentation was nice too.

Located at the South Point Hotel & Casino. Open 24/7. My wife and I dined here for lunch. My wife had the Chinese Lunch Special that came with crispy noodles with four sauces and the Cashew Chicken with white rice. I had the Southwest Breakfast Burrito with breakfast potato's. YUM. The food and service were excellent on this visit. I added many photos and will return again soon. They also have Excellent Graveyard Specials.

The food was marginal, and the service was very slow. By the time it got to our table, it was not hot. Staff was pleasant and accommodating.

Well, for the price and you don’t mind getting up early (or going to sleep LATE)...full breakfast steak n’ eggs plus other specials...typical “above average” casino coffee shop

The breakfast was great! Price was right and food was served to perfection. If you order room service from the Southe Pointe hotel then this is where the food comes from. Friendly staff and fast service

The food options at SP are another on point feature of the property. The 24-hour Coronado Cafe has everything with an exceptional Chinese food menu and a Late Nite Specials menu from Midnight to 6 a.m.

Place can be busy, you may need to wait to place order. Price was much lower than Strip Casio's. Food was somewhat better than the last 2 casio's we ate.

3 eggs on top of potatoes. Ordered over medium. First came out with runny whites...yuck! Sent back. Came back quickly obviously microwaved. Yolks now overdone but in the very center where the 3 eggs met, whites still runny. Double yuck and I think unsafe now due to being microwaved.

The coffee shop at the South Point reminds me of the old coffee shops of LV in the past. It is open for 24 hours, items are reasonably priced, and tasty. The service does fluctuate between great and okay. The egg dishes at breakfast, hot turkey sandwich, and the Chinese food are all excellent.

After a movie we needed a quick dinner. We have eaten at the Coronado Cafe many times and have not been disappointed. This Cafe inside South Point Casino was packed last night, we got the last booth. The food is simple American Cusine, I had a delicious patty melt and my husband had a burger. My daughter loves the Cobb salad here and it is enough for two meals. The service was excellent, Ronald was our server and our iced tea glasses were never empty. I took half my meal home. Super easy.

Good cafe located in Casino near our hotel. Large menu. Food came out quick and service was good. Very crowded. Would come back again

Honestly the worst eggs Benedict I've ever had. Eggs were undercooked, ham was yuck and sauce was not good. For $14 a meal I expect so much more.

We had a short wait to eat breakfast here. The portions are large and the food was good. The cafe seemed a bit outdated but the service was good. Prices were a little more reasonable than on the strip.

Great 24-7 spot in the lobby. The Chinese menu and daily dinner specials are outstanding and a great value for the buck. The 12 a.m to 6 a.m. specials are anywhere from 3.99 to 6.99 and the portions are huge.

We ate everyday at this restaurant. The service we encountered was excellent and so was the food. I don’t know what kind of coffee is serviced there but it is fantastic. We will be going back very soon.

Is under renovation right now but it still serving breakfast lunch dinner the prices are not bad and they have a variety of Mexican Chinese your regular buffet stuff it's good

I ate my supper at this café. The service is good and prompt and the people are nice and polite (important to me!) Portions are good but the quality was not high. I probably should have known! Coleslaw tasted bad, honestly. When I eat out, I try to adapt myself to the low quality foods(!) which is basically almost everywhere especially in the US but after two teaspoons of that salad I had to stop. The lady waitress said that they made it fresh every day but perhaps it's their ingredients which is not good. The Pie was one of the cheap ones that you can find in any supermarket and I even doubt it was real Blueberry but at the same time I understand it's a café not a Michelin star restaurant! The BLT was cold and it was obvious that they just put everything together without even bothering to heat the damn thing up!

The food at the Coronado Cafe was real good and the staff was outstanding. They kept the water glass full and kept checking on us to make sure our food was just right. The prices are reasonable.
review of our annual vacation
great variety however allergies menue is very poor and they do not know how to cook Gluten free or allergies free food
