I have visited Costa Pacifica many times but last time the food quality was disappointing. Even though the menu items are the same, the quality and effort to make them has slide. My favorite were empanadas of any kind that were full of flavor. They were fried with seasoned oil probably with paprika and other spices. The ones I had on my last visit they were not the same. The service is very good but the wine list is short and basic. I plan to go there again in the future and I am hoping that it was only a bad day in the kitchen.

Great seafood for a displaced Bostonian. Scallops, Ceviche, fish tacos, (2 preps) even a nice zesty tilapia! Outside live combo adds music to the mix, dancing is optional, and happy hour is particularly popular!

Let me start off by saying we've been here many times in the past. Recently, my wife and I had lunch and enjoyed the fact they had happy hour all day Monday and Tuesday. I couldn't pass up the large cucumber margarita which ultimately had great flavor, just little to no alcohol. We shared a shrimp cocktail which was very tasty and had plenty of shrimp for two. The Ensenada fish tacos were a bit over fried and thus the fish had little flavor. The Ensenada shrimp tacos were spot on. The taco toppings were fresh had a great mesh of flavors. Overall, the food was good, service was ok and the drinks left a lot to be desired. As I mentioned previously, we've been here before and were just a bit disappointed this visit.

This is a Mexican seafood restaurant that also offers a couple of chicken dishes. They have a range of different types of dishes and most people should be happy with the selections. Atmosphere is coastal casual. Service was adequate. Only issue was the music which was MUCH too loud, but they did turn it down a bit when we asked. Food was very good and prepared as requested. Will definitely be back.

We were not expecting it to be a nice place to have lunch. The service was good and the food delicious. The Green Enchiladas were wonderful, just the right amount of seasoning in the sauteed shrimp in the enchilada that was complimented well with the green sauce. The Mojarra Fritta was the pleasant surprise. A whole fried fish was served on a bed of salad and a scoop of rice on the side. The fish was delightful with the right amount of freshly squeezed lime. They also give you some round tortillas to munch on while waiting for your order. They were served with a plate of refried beans and some kind of smoky salsa.

Found this place some how on facebook. So, instead of my usual after church I decided to take the hike northwards. At first it wasn't very busy but things picked up. I had the filet veracruz style. It came out steaming hot. Only disappointment was the frozen margarita. It was too frozen so I had to let it melt to enjoy. But, it's a reasonable priced!

Visited this restaurant recently which was just down the road from my hotel. Costa Pacifica offers a good happy hour during the week. Thought I would try something slightly different than the local Tex-Mex. I sat at the bar and was waited on the bar tender who was nice. Ordered a some fish tacos and steak tacos that were on the happy hour special. I could not believe the amount of food that was served because it was a very good value. The fish tacos had a decent flavor but the fish was way overcooked in the sauce it was in. The steak tacos were filling but the steak had a very little seasoning. The salsa served to me was good. The tortilla chips that was served with the meal were disappointing. Basically they were tostadas from a package placed in a basket. My bartender was good but the rest of the staff were a little frustrating. On a hot day, they were constantly leaving the doors to the outdoor patio open instead of closing them. Besides letting the heat into the restaurant, they were letting a ton of flies into the restaurant that felt like they were attacking me since I was near the bar area. Costa Pacific had a decent crowd when I was there. Overall, decent food with a good value. Would not go out of my way to visit this restaurant when I am in the area again.

We look to go and have good food have a few drinks and listen to good live music. I love the patio area.

Missed the octopus tacos and scallops aguachile two of my fav. Didnβt make it to this menu. Our server was super friendly, I think her name is Patty love her service.

A group of us (8) recently had dinner at this location. We were very pleased with the quality of the food selection. Overall plenty of menu items to choose from. Prices are a bit on the expensive side given the smaller portions of the food they serve. They have a good beverage selection.

We had dinner the 7 of us and the service was a bit slow and the Margaritas were although large not that tasty - certainly not as impressive as the looks of the menu.

I ordered "The Fish"--the entire fish deep fried. It was fabulous served on a bed of rice with a nice salad on the side. My hubby ordered the grilled tuna. What a chunk of fish! It was served just like we see it on the food shows--is it rare? There were no grill marks on it so it had to have been cooked in a pan. Neither of us had eaten fish like that. There was just a small serving of rice with it and a few over-cooked fresh veggies. At double the price, it was a shock. He ordered Coke and got a diet instead and I ordered tea and I could see through it. I would love to see what the shrimp or crab enchilidas taste like.....

Great restaurant located across from Dominion area. Great Inside & outside Ambiance overlooks SA from the top of Hill. Cold beer, great food & cheery atmosphere

Met up with friends from out of town to give them an experience more than what the restaurants on the riverwalk offer. One wanted tex-mex, one wanted authentic Mexican. I suggested this place because they both like seafood. I had the shrimp ceviche, it was fantastic. My husband had a shrimp dish with bacon - it was delish also! The friends had the jalepeno ceviche, and again thought the whole dinner was really good.

Service was excellent. The menu is not Texmex. It is more of a traditional pacific coast style with fresh seafood. The food tasted great and the portions were good. It can be quite spicy but not in an overpowering way. The stuffed shrimp jalepenos appetizer was good, but the shrimp were quite small. We also tried the shrimp and the seafood empanadas and both were excellent. For our meal I had the sliced octopus and my wife had the shrimp diabla. Both were terrific and of course the diabla was very spicy hot. . After dining I didn't have the full of greasy food feeling that I sometimes have after eating at traditional Texmex restaurants.

Went for lunch on recommendations of friends. Was not disappointed. Reasonable prices and unique entrees and appetizers. Best Mexican restaurant we've tried in San Antonio.

i am going back this restaurant after 5 yrs. the initial impression was very good . different story this time. Got oysters, tasted "muddy", let then alone. scallops appetizer was good .Entree items we had (4) were all bad. So If you end having eat from this place, stick with drinks and ceviche,

Great happy hour menu, great bar menu and great entrees. Staff is very good and they take care of you. They have renovated and it looks perfect.

This restaurant has an acceptable menu but its not a good alternative as compared to nearby similar restaurants

Very good mexican seafood. As authentic as possible. Always a good meal and good service. Drinks are inexpensive and good. Outside covered patio is very nice. Try the octopus if you are a fan and you wont be disappointed.

If you want to taste real mexican sea food, this is the place you have to visit! The food is really good, always frech, tray the tuna tostada, or the salmon tostada the best ever

I come alone to get my seafood cocktail fix, come with business colleagues to unwind, and have brought my folks. GREAT Happy Hours too!

t's all good. Wish I had visited earlier. It does lean toward seafood, bit really highlights what real Mexican cooking can do with seafood. This is not Texmex. If you want that, go somewhere else. We actually came here so we could see the Sonterra fireworks and were able to score a window seat. Our waitress, Graciela, was gracious and helpful with ordering for the kids. The two salsas are very different but equally tasty. The chips are actually tostadas you break apart and dip. I would suggest a la carte ordering to try as much diversity as possible. I had all the seafood enchiladas and they were all tasty. My favorite was the shrimp enchilada with the green sauce.

Happy hour all day Monday and Tuesday. That caught us by surprise. We had very good service. Karin. Hot sauce red and green yummy. The only recommendation I say is about the chairs. The chairs could be more comfortable.

Fresh! Fresh! Fresh! Close your eyes and feel like you are in Cabo San Lucas! Fun, festive atmosphere with fun bar/patio. Music and plenty of TVs. Ceviche, fresh fish, and all the accoutrements.

The people are friendly. The food is great. Ceviche tortillas, jalapeno ceviche is just the right kind of hot. If you like seafood, you will love this place.

This was the worst service experience I have had in years. The waiter could have cared less about our table. We asked for water with no ice (he forgot). Brought 4 kids meals with nuggets and fries and we asked for ketchup (he forgot). We asked for more chips and they never did. He charged us for an entree we didn't order and did remove when it was brought up although I can't help but think it may have been done intentionally. Not sure what their problem is here but the staff are woefully bad. Food was mediocre, and even if it was amazing, I would not return due to the service.

It's quite noisy inside, and the outdoor seating is next to Interstate 10. Other than that, it's a good place for fresh seafood.

We checked out the new IH-10 location which is more or less around the corner from our neighborhood. The food was excellent. We had a variety of dishes: the zarrandeado fish fillet, the coconut shrimp, the fish taco "al pastor" and the shrimp ensanada tacos. All dishes were very good, but the fish tacos "al pastor" were completely missing the pineapple. That was sad. The service was a bit slow and we had to ask repeatedly for a refill of ice tea. The server was a bit distracted to watch a game on the TV behind the bar. Frozen house margarita was very good at a very ressonable price. Unfortunately, the music was blasting just a bit too loudly for our taste to have a relaxed conversation on the patio. Maybe they tried to overpower the road noise from IH-10 ? Given that they are open for just about 3 weeks at this location we will be back for a second try. We really liked the food and maybe the few minor issues will work themselves out with a bit more time. Otherwise it would've been a 5 star review.

My Favorite place to eat in San Antonio, wonderful small, quaint place with a nice beautiful outdoor patio, great food, worth locating it and going to short drive from downtown in a nice old area of the city.

Great Mexican style seafood restaurant with delicious selections of ceviche, salads, nachos and more along with expertly prepared adult beverages...wish I'd known about this place sooner! On top of delicious food and drinks, the service was excellent with an attentive waitstaff and a friendly manager who made sure we were being taken care of by his staff. I'll be back! Make sure to try the Jalapeno Ceviche!

Very good. I loved. The service was very good. I hope to come another day. I will recommend you to my friends

This is a seafood sports bar with lots of loud music but the food choices are excellent. Instead of Mexican seafood, the menu is slanted to Costa Rica and a refreshing selection of Cevechi cocktails. The presentation was impressive as were the portions and the service.

I usually sit at the bar by myself. I enjoy my choice of beer and tequila and later a red snapper, itβs delicious. If I would have to recommend a Mexican seafood in the north San Antonio area, it would be the first place to come to mind.

This is a bar in restaruant clothing. As a bar setting it appeared very popular. The word on the street was great Tapas, unfortunately their menu is very confusing and expertly hid the Tapas. We ended up with two fish entrees A Popeye Filet and a Filet Veracruzano. In both cases the fish was drowned in thier much too heavyhanded sauces. Scrapping away a large portion of the sauces yielded a not so fresh and over cooked filet. Had there been 1/8th the amount of sauce and respect for the filets in preparation, these meals had potential. A friend has mentioned again the Tapas are great....I won't go back to check'em out.

Having dinner with the family and this place has a wonderful atmosphere, with a live band playing and the staff are very accommodating since I have a child with autism. The food is excellently delicious and I will return!!! π I had the octopus taco plate and my daughter had the shrimp taco plate. It comes with retried beans and white rice, delicious! I will return and I'm bringing my family and friends. π

For Cinco De Mayo, I thought Mexican Food and Mariachis was a great idea. I saw this place online that was having Cinco De Mayo music, so I thought it looked like a fit. I was not surprised that it was busy, but the people in front of me were seated pretty quick. When the guy asked me how many, I said just one. He said I could sit at the bar. I asked if I could order food at the bar and he said no, but I could sit in the patio and eat. I told him I'd like to have a table inside, so he took about 5 minutes to figure out how to put my name on a reservation list, and he would text me when one was available. So, I went to the patio which was not serving the food from Costa Pacifica, and they informed me it was a private party. The music was not Mariachi, but a loud band. I waited a while and gave up. An hour later I got a text asking me if I still wanted to wait. By then I had gone to a local place that I like. I doubt I will ever go to Costa Pacifica. Too bad. The menu looked good.

Food was very good , all fresh . Had the special whole fried snapper portion size was listed to share and was plenty but the fish was a little small . Shrimp cocktail was very tasty . Very nice addition to this part of town .

informal place to eat! seafood menu! nice varieties! view to golf course and nice ambience!

Clean with an impressively large menu. I loved my fish plate and regaled in the selections on tables on around me. This is true Mexican Pacific cooking and it is delightful! I will be back.

We came for lunch and sat inside as it was cold out. The outdoor patio is very nice but inside it smelled like sanitizer and the decor was nothing special. We came in because they had clam chowder on the menu, but they told us it was not available. The food was below average though the service was great. This would be a good place for drinks on the patio, but not for a nice meal.

Tired of the same ole Red Lobster/Joe's/Pappadeaux style fried sea food, then this is the place. Great food! The coconut shrimp was excellent as were many of the other dishes people in my party ordered. Prices are about in line with red lobster. Have a nice outdoor seating area.

Excellent happy hour and great food at a fair price. I love their fish tacos! The location is downtown San Antonio just off of Josephine St. The atmosphere is welcoming and the overall place was great!

We finished our trip in San Antonio at this fabulous restaurant. The empanadas were so flaky and delicious. The restaurant had a happy and busy vibe the night we were there while they served two large parties and walk in guests. Super! Would come again and again. The waitress was perfect!

I've been here 5 times for dinner dates, 3 friend meet up and 3 company meetings. I just can't get enough of the ceviche and the fresh from the kitchen entrees!

The restaurant is situated in a very good location, Its menu is huge and almost 100% fish. Good prices and very good quality. Good service. Has a terrace where you can enjoy live music while eating.

I used to love this place, so my family and I went there for lunch. The menu changed a lot since the last time I was there and the food looked and tasted like a frozen ready to eat meal with zero flavor. The guy that served us acted like we were an annoyance every time we ordered something, he also mixed up our order with the table next to us and made very rude comments to us when we complained, the manager wasn't of any help either she told us that if we didn't like it there we could leave which we did, this put all of us in a very bad mood and kinda ruined our get together, NEVER going back!

Asked to be seated in the covered patio overlooking a golf course. Ordered shrimp toritos for appetizer and came crispy and hot, also shrimp ceviche tostada; wonderful. Then had fish ceviche; fresh, cold, cooked in lime juice, simply delicious. All the above with ice cold dark Negra Modelo beer.

I visited Costa Pacifica twice in a week because the Veracruzan fish was so delicious. The service was good.

Wen for a graduation dinner. Service was great food was "okay". More authentic than Tex mex but a little more on the expensive side.l no real atmosphere.

Came here for a business lunch. Wow. great service. Great drinks. Love the seafood dishes. Dos XX Micheladas are a nicely done. great seafood snacks and mains.

Started with their avocado dip appetizer which was excellent and served with miniature tostada chips. Ordered beers and they came in big mugs with a bid price tag! Had the fried fish tacos which were very good. My wife had the beef empanadas which were good, but not much flavor. Meals came with rice and beans which were cold. Waiter cashed us out without asking. Lots of potential to be great, but just good on this first visit.

very good location and atmosphere , the waitress was very nice and friendly. But very disappointed with the food...nothing special just like every other Mexican fast food restaurant the frijoles seams to be straight out of the can Im very sorry but I would not recommend to my friends to visit this place or maybe just for a drink and chips. Drinks are good

We had been to this restaurant one time before years ago and decided to give it another try for a weekday lunch. They have a very reasonable lunch combos available so my partner decided on Popeye Enchiladas. The shrimp enchiladas were excellent as was the rice and beans. The soft drink was included in the $9 price. I had the Costa Tostadas which had fish ceviche with nice chunks of fish in a delicious marinade on tostadas including pieces of avocado. My ice tea was included in the $9 price. After we arrived and was seated our drink order was taken and the drinks served promptly along with chips and three kinds of Mexican dips that were spicy like we wanted. We were outside at a table in an area closed off by plastic to hold in the warmth. They had a stage for Friday/Saturday evening performances and two large projection TV screens for showing games.

You can't go wrong with the Tuna Carpaccio appetizer and the Fish Tacos! My favorites! though the ceviche is also good as well as many other dishes. I will definitely go back to explore the menu more. there is ample seating in the quieter section away from the bar. or if you want to be near the live music action you can sit in "front" of the bar where there are a few tables you can reserve in what I'll call the somewhat quiet side or on the "back" of the bar in the covered AC patio closer to the band where there are a lot more tables. There is also outdoor seating as well. I found the service to be very pleasant and attentive. On a busy friday and saturday night make a reservation so you can pick your table location.

Best in the city! Great prices and great food! Margaritas so delicious! Great meet and greet after work.

At lunch today with my husband. It was quick, good and great service. I had a shrimp taco and a beef taco, with fresh avocado. Husband had green shrimp enchiladas. Everything was delicious and server Luis was terrific. One of our favorites to eat in SA.

What a great place for dinner. We ordered a bunch of different items and shared them. Very reasonable price and fantastic service. Highly recommended, especially the shrimp ceviche tostada.

The atmosphere depends on what you enjoy. I have gone here to watch a soccer match in the bar area with some buddies and I have gone here to eat dinner with family. I enjoyed both of my visits to this particular location. My first time there I had the fish ceviche, I enjoyed this choice but not as much as I enjoyed the marisco soup that they have. Now I know where I can find a great marisco soup. Most of San Antonio is Tex-Mex with some variants here and there. But this is great alternative to the norm. If you are visiting from out of town and want to try something different- give this place a shot. If you are a local and you have heard about it but are hesitant about trying something new- give it a shot!

The best service! Ask for Emiliano to be you waiter. We delicious food like no where else. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The menu resembles a Pacific Coast / Baja California restaurant menu. Not as extensive and not abundant with seafood but OK. Nice ambiance, but not intimate, busy on weekends. Relatively inexpensive. A good place to take your friends: they had live music. Server was attentive but interrupted our conversation about 3 or 4 times to ask if everything was OK. He was also trying to clear up the table before we finished and we had to shoo him away a couple of times. We didn't care much for our fish ceviche but both seafood soups (and there are only two on the menu) were quite good. Perhaps, a bit too salty.

IF you want to pretend you are on the coast of Mexico on a vacation, this is the place. The food is very authentic. The best item on the menu is the SNAPPER. It is so good!

One of the only restaurants on North San Antonio that doesn't have the boxed-in feeling. It actually has a lovely terrace. The food os pretty good wo a lot of dishes reminiscent of the Mexican Pacific Coast. The service, though, needs to be improved.

We have been here twice recently for a late Saturday lunch. On both occasions we sat in the back open area which is covered but feels like you are outside with all the windows open. I had a different fish dish on both visits and they were outstanding. My wife had more traditional options but even enchiladas are done here with unique sauces and seafood. We split an appetizer that was again surprisingly different - try the melted cheese with mushrooms which had almost a lemony finish. The service is very laid back and friendly which seems to go with the authentic Mexican vibe. The manager checked the room a couple times to be sure everything was going smoothly but in a friendly low key way. The prices are reasonable for seafood with Tilapia at one end and Red Snapper at the other with choices in between. We really like that choice- you can spurge or go with a very reasonable option that is still a well prepared fish. We are looking forward to the new Costa Pacifica they are opening on I-10.

We had heard about this place so we stopped my on a Friday evening. We shared the coconut shrimp platter, a fish taco and a ribeye taco. The ribeye taco was lacking because it was just 1 thin pieces on a tortilla - no sauce, no onions, no love! My wife loved the fish taco and the shrimp. The Margaritas had good flavor. We were checking out the other customer's orders - WOW. Great selection! The evening was finished by sitting out on their patio listening to live music - great accompaniment to our second Margarita!!! We plan to go back VERY soon. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the music. We had a young server, but he was friendly and trying hard to please his customers.

This is a Mexican seafood restaurant that has a friendly and casual ambiance. Various kinds of fish tacos, as well as several kinds of ceviche. We got the "Tostada Special" on the appetizer menu. It had 5 different kinds of ceviche--salmon, tuna, scallops, shrimp, whitefish on tostadas and was big enough for us to share as a meal for two. Also, at the day/time we went, the margaritas were on special for only $2, and they were good! We'll be back

Had dinner there 12/6/2012; all was good except that our dinner companion's credit card was copied and used on 12/10 at an HEB to the tune of $600. He had left town the day before and hadn't used it anywhere else while visiting. Another 2 attempts made to use it on 12/11 and 12/12 but was declined. If you go...use cash. They have a thief there.

A very wide menu variety. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of parking. Drinks are very good, and the food is very well prepared and seasoned.

The service was great friendly and attentive. We came with our family but saw a lot of people enjoying themselves on dates. Great authentic Mexican seafood at reasonable prices. Would come again.

Great service and food was found by our friends and I at this restaurant, the ceviche was outstanding , we also had the shrimp empanadas and the red snapper to share, good food with great prices .

Friendly but VERY SLOW service, okay but nothing-to-write-home-about food, and a space so loud our party of 4 had to shout in order to converse. Really, the food was not bad and not expensive but just not what we had hoped for.

Great food, great service, good drinks. My boss first took me to this place and since then, my husband and I are frequent diners here. Mostly seafood and cooked in the Mexican Pacific style. LOVE this place.

Nice dinner with friends. Fish. Steak. Bloody Mary's. Quiet atmosphere. Excellent server. Ask for Jerry. He was very attentive without being overbearing. Definitely a go to

We eat there quite often. It's one our favorite restaurants. I had the whole fish this time and didn't leave anything on the plate. It's Monterey style cuisine. Great Happy hour prices too. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do.

My wife and I have eaten here twice. Lots of menu choices. Our fish and shrimp have been cooked perfectly. I recommend the Zarandeado Filet if you like spicy food. So good. We also tried the Shrimp Ceviche. Also really good. My favorite time to go is Monday or Tuesday. The happy hour menu is all day Monday and Tuesday and 3 to 7 pm Wednesday through Friday. Appetizers and drinks at really good prices. I am very particular about my Margaritas. This place has a great one. Happy hour Margs are $2.99

A group of friends met here recently for lunch and although we all live in S.A., most had not heard of this restaurant. It sits back in a center on the access of Loop 1604 between Blanco Rd. and Stone Oak off and behind P. Terry's Burgers. We arrived for an early lunch and parking was right in front. There are two door entrances but both were open for entry. We were seated immediately and chips and salsa were brought out promptly and our drink orders taken and served timely. Since some of us were not familiar with this place, we checked out the menu on their website. As of our visit, the pricing on the website did not match some of the pricing on the menu. So you may want to double check. Also, the waitress gave us a full menu and we had to ask about a lunch menu. We were told they did not have copies for that and to use the scan code on the table. Three of us ordered the Costa Pacifica Salad (romaine, tomato, green olives, cheese and half avocado) and it came with a homemade lime dressing vinaigrette, which was perfect and very mild. The olives added just the right flavor to the salad and I am not a fan of green olives BUT this salad was exceptional. The waitress was attentive until it got much busier and then we had to find her to ask for tea refills and to go containers as the salad was a good portion. The others ordered fish tacos with came with a scoop of white rice and a scoop of refried beans and they also enjoyed their meal. The menu, even for lunch, had several delicious sounding choices. Only a couple of friends live in this part of S.A. but the rest agreed it is worth the drive over. The inside seating is not real large but has two sections and they also have an outside covered patio seating. There is a bar and the website does show a HH but we were not there during that time or if we were, it was not mentioned to us. There also was a pop up special on the website that was not mentioned to us either.

I love that San Antonio has several Mazatlan-inspired seafood restaurants and I had never heard of this little gem until shopping in this shopping center. It's a casual-dining experience, which is always a plus in San Antonio. They have a generous Happy Hour (4-7pm daily) and they celebrate Happy Hour all day on Mondays! They have a good selection of $5.00 food items, and lots of nicely priced beverages. They also have Live Music Thursday thru Saturday starting at 8:00pm. My husband and had their $2.99 Margaritas and they were very tasty. My husband loves Tacos al Pastor and he ordered their seafood version of this, Fish Taco "Al Pastor". It comes with a pineapple sauce on it and his favorite thing about this dish: They bring a bowl of halved limes (6-8 halves) and a metal juicer to add lime juice to any and everything. My husband was in heaven! He really liked the twist of the tender fish instead of the pork. I had the shrimp nachos, expecting there not to be a lot of shrimp included, but there was plenty of shrimp. It was so good! I really liked the green sauce they serve with their "chips" (tostada shells). This type of chip is very typical of Mexican Seafood restaurants. I can't wait to come back and try to their Ceviche and Campechana. Sure takes me back to Cabo San Lucas and all the delicious seafood we had there!

I was there for more than 6 hrs and order severall things everything was great you need to order tacos the ensenada is very good and for a very reasonable price but if you are going to drink order bottle service the alcohol is very expensive we pay more than $600 just in alcohol

We were simply driving around the parking lot and found this hidden gem of a seafood place. It is beautiful inside and the owners and employees are top notch. The food is amazing and the service outstanding. It is a casual eatery but the flavors are really second to none. Live entertainment out on the patio is a must do. Great family atmosphere or casual quiet date night.

Best sea food in town. Try the octopus cooked to perfection. Great drinks and atmosphere and fun for everyone

Great food, and drinks, Authenthic Mexican Seafood. Would recommend the marisco stuffed filet. Wished servers were a bit more attentive

We stopped in for lunch and sat on patio as it was a typical winter day in SA -warm and pleasant. This is perfect place for grazing and they try to replicate Mexico Pacific seafood. The grilled octopus and seafood cocktails were super fresh and wonderful. Good service and the value for what you get is outstanding. This is our go to spot for drinks and seafood, especially good for a tapas type eating experience. Wine list is good- we have not tried the margaritas so cannot comment on them. Yet.

One of our favorite places to eat and drink on the weekends, the food is very good and fresh, the bar drinks very original and cheerful, the Bar staff (we always sat at the bar) is super friendly and always willing to give us a free sample of some exotic cocktail ... Hic ..! We always have a great time at Costa.

Very relaxed mexican sea food restaurant, it has a terrace that gets crowded, kind of a mix of restaurant an sports bar the food is good, great place to have some appetizers and drinks

This restaurant was near our hotel and decided to check it out. Very glad we did. We went for the first time on Sunday for dinner and returned again on Friday for lunch before we left. On our visits we had the shrimp empanadas, shrimp tacos (not battered), shrimp tacos (battered shrimp), kids fried shrimp plate and flan. We also had an appetizer which I cannot recall the name of. It consisted of shrimp with cheese, cabbage and then wrapped in fried cheese. All items were very good, I will say the appetizer is something that a table should share as it is so rich that you really only need a bite or two to get the full effect and appreciate it. The shrimp empanadas were so good we ordered them on both of our visits Not a bit greasy and came with a nice side of guacamole. Delicious. Both the battered and non battered shrimp tacos were so good. Very fresh and wonderful. My son loved the fried shrimp kids plate. It came with a good portion of large fried shrimp and nice thick French fries. The kids meals also come with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a waffle cup. The chips are tostadas that you break up to eat. Upon the recommendation of our first waiter, Jose, we had the flan. It was the best flan either of us have ever had in our life. They have great happy hour specials as well. We will visit this restaurant when we return to the area for sure.

We went to Costa Pacifica because we were close by and the place had good recent reviews. A caesar salad was pretty good, but their recommended entree of octopus with butter and garlic sauce lacked flavor. Salsas were also quite bland. Service was pleasant but amateurish -- my entree arrived when I was only halfway through my salad. I was hoping for a high quality meal of Mexican seafood, but Costa Pacifica didn't really deliver. I'd look elsewhere next time.

We had a party of 6 and went late about 9:00 and they seated us quickly on the patio which we requested. Everyone enjoyed the food greatly and was a hit! Plus Tuesday is happy hour!
Lunch with family
One of our favorite restaurants. Monterrey cuisine with a flair. The Costa Pacifica Salad is great. Tuna Carpaccio and Torre are readily special along with the shrimp en aguachiles . Empanada fish tacos are spot on and 2 for $5.99 during Happy Hour. What ever you pick you'll enjoy the taste, style and quality of the food.
