We had a great evening at Costero's with good food and great drinks. The service from the team and especially José was perfect. They really made you feel at home and took their time for a little chat. The vibe in this bar is way better than you would expect near an airport normally. I would recommend going here!

Pub in the hotel. Perfect when you turned in the rental car already. The waiter was great. Friendly and knowledgeable. Offered great advice. The food was good, the drinks were strong, but it was a bit pricey.

I am very pleased with the attention to detail and flavor of these new dishes. This restaurant just was remodeled with such consideration of the demographic of the community and guests of the Hotel. I had a great experience eating at Costero California Bar + Bistro and staying at the Sheraton Gateway In Los Angeles. The hospitality was impeccable and accommodations lovely.

In our own hotel the restaurant was too expensive and too limited. Then we chose this restaurant in another hotel. Also limited choice, but more to our taste.

We stopped in for dinner while staying in the hotel. They have a good selection of local beers and an adequate wine list although the dinner menu is a bit limited. Service was excellent and the food was very good. It was a good choice as we were quite tired after flying cross country and did not feel like looking elsewhere.

Business meal and it was wonderful! Tuna poki app, bacon cheese burger main dish and vanilla crème brûlée. It all was to die for! The burger was huge and i ended up needing to use my knife & fork ha ha!

Stopped by the bar during a recent stay at the Sheraton. Some friends and I just wanted to grab a drink and some appetizers before getting some work done. I ordered some pot stickers which came out flavorless and barley warm. They didn’t taste great either. Way over priced bar food that wasn’t that good.

Great bar, great staff, great food. The portions were small but overall great. P.S. try the deep fried pickles, awesome.

Having had a last minute flight cancellation by a pathetic airline called Delta, i was told to stay at the Sheraton until alternative flights could be arranged. I was not in the mood for going out, so I decided to visit this bar for a quick dinner. Wow I was not disappointed and my server (Sergio I think) quickly made up for the disappointment of a cancelled flight. His humor was nothing short of fantastic and his recommendations from the extensive wine list and food menus were amazing. The chicken wing appetizer was pretty good, but the chili seafood pasta was fantastic for hotel cooked food. As i had vouchers to use, my server noted that Delta had either massively disappointed me or I had been extra angry as he noted they had given me substantially more than most airline vouchers he normally see's so with his good humor he asked if there was ways he could "assist me to utilize the complete voucher value", and it was then I knew I was in for a good evening. If i ever get "laid over" in LAX again I would certainly re-visit this Bar & Bistro.

We were staying nearby and wanted something different. This was a good call. We had a number of the small plates and enjoyed it immensely.

This is the perfect place for fast and delicious food. I wrote the average review for the hotel but restaurant and bar were nice.

What a wonderful place to visit . The food and service 5 STARS . Butch and Kevin took care of my business associate and I . They know how to make you feel welcomed. The food is tasty ! Great drinks and just an all around wonderful environment. If you're ever in town I highly recommend you stop by and be sure to ask for Butch ! You and your friends will have a great time.

I had dinner there and lunch also during a recent business trip. I had a hangar steak one time and a burger the other time. Both were quite good. Fresh with good service. Still a little loud for me but better this time, maybe it was because it wasn't quite bar time yet when I ate there.

I Came back from a trip and landed at LAX. I was very hungry. I Read the reviews on COSTERO and thought I would give it a try. I was in the mood for a fine steak and a relaxing drink. The COSTERO Bar is a large open room and very sports oriented. If you want to go into the restaurant it is very nice and quit. I wanted to go to the bar aria because you can get the same menu and enjoy a more casual atmosphere. There was a lot going on with the Dodgers playing. My drink of choice was a Bloody Marry. I have to say, it was one of the best bloody Mary’s I ever had. I ordered the rib eye steak. It was a perfect medium rare, exactly as I order it. Super delouses. I was impressed with the portion size as well. The staff was very accommodating. My waiter was observant of all my needs. I even had a visit from one of the managers. He asked me if I was satisfied with the food and the service. I was very stifled. In conclusion I was pleasantly surprised with my choice of restaurant and I would go back to COSTERO as “A DESTINATION FOR DINING”.

Taking an early morning flight out of LAX and stopped by here for dinner the night before. Quite upscale for a sports bar. Service was professional and personable. Prices were higher than we are accustomed to but that's California. Food menu is limited but their jalapeno Margarita was quite tasty. Bar looked quite complete. They did require a vax document. I'd go back.

From one of the best on Century Blvd to one of the worst. Cioppino. No it’s not. Cioppino does not have avocado and a huge mound of tortilla strips. Tortilla soup does. How disappointing. It also is Italian. It comes with crusty bread. That was refused me. This is the second disappointing meal here in a month. Get it together and I’ll be back. Loved the food here. It’s NOT good now. The staff warned me “it’s just a little soup. It won’t be enough”. They were right. Watery and flavorless.

Went here for lunch while staying at the H next door. Good service, good food, comfortable. I'd eat here again.

good selection between salads, appetizers, sandwiches, etc. Service was attentive and fun. Enjoyed our lunch under the LAX sunshine.

While saying at hotel at the airport waiting to catch an early flight there were not many options for dinner. This bistro had good food and good service... of course a little overprice but not much to do about it. We had hot turkey sandwich , cheese burger and pizza: all of them were quite good. Service was fast. Surely an option to consider

Cistern is the Restaurant and Bar attached to the Sheraton Gateway Hotel. It’s a wide open airy space beyond the lobby and the night I wandered in, it was full. Food looked good. A small menu, but more than adequate. The oval bar had the most charming and happy staff, who created terrific cocktails with beers and wines to suit all tastes. The vibe is busy and happy and you can while away some time glued to the sports on big TVs. I was pleasantly surprised at Costero and would recommend it for a casual meal with friends. I would certainly return in the future.

A well laid out Bar and Restaurant in a hotel near a busy airport. Excellent location with delicious food in a spacious relaxing indoor dining area near a pool. A great place to meet up and hangout with friends/family while visitong or on a long layover. Reasonable walking distance from the airport if youre not up for waiting for a hotel shuttle.

Since my original visit in Feb. 2022, we have returned to the Sheraton Gateway LAX multiple times. Why? Because of the the rooms and the location? No, the Marriott where we get the same points and perks is the same with those things. It is the wonderful bar. The venue is an oval bar area on lobby level. It's ambiance is great, but the highlight is the friendly staff. Today Ruben was an absolute delight. He made sure we were always taken care of. It is folks like him who make this place special.

This restaurant is inside the Sheraton Gateway hotel and they have no onsite parking so you would have to factor in the cost of either valet parking [$49 per day for hotel guests - not sure if it would be less for a restaurant guest.] or you would have to park in the pay lot behind the hotel and across the street. [$2.20 per 15 minutes. $17.50 maximum]. We had had a heavy lunch and only wanted a light dinner so my husband and I opted for bowls of their chicken vegetable soup. I don't know how they do it but it was the most delicious chicken soup I have ever had. The chicken stock is incredibly rich and flavorful. It was $10 per bowl and when we asked for crackers or bread, they said that they didn't have crackers and their only bread was focacia and we would have to pay extra for it. At $10 per bowl, they could have thrown in some bread but if we ever stay there again, we would still probably order the soup.

We had lunch here while we were staying at the hotel. The service is slow, it could be because of staff shortage. We enjoyed salmon with pineapple, burger and pasta. I tried a cocktail which took sometime to get there. It was convenient to have a restaurant in the hotel.

Really enjoyed the bar. Great staff. All the bartenders were very attentive and easy to talk to. Very friendly and helpful. It was very crowded because of a Salsa convention but everyone was great, especially Horacio Martin. Great guy.

We stayed at the hotel for a business trip and found a wonderful gem! Every thing we ordered was delicious and perfectly seasoned! As amazing as the food was, the wait staff was phenomenal! It was extremely busy, and at all times the staff worked together as a well oiled machine! Jaime and Jose C. were pleasant and attentive. Even under extremely busy conditions we felt welcome and each time they came to check on us, their focus was fully on creating the best experience possible for us. A tip of the hat to the manager Julio for creating a team environment that shines through from the water boy (what he called himself) to the wait staff! Well done!

The food here is a comfort food menu. There is no culinary excellence even thought the prices are a bit steep. There really isn’t many dining options within walking distance in this area so the choices are limited. The food is just average, it serves its purpose, it’s eatible but nothing that wow’s you. The portions are small also.

Decided to visit cause it was one of the few not! Fast food restaurants open after 22:00, was seated in the dining area witch was set up nicely and my server was very attentive! The food on the other hand was so not good... order the chicken Brest for 22$ and it came a Brest, 5 asparagus and chunky sauce. The chicken Brest was dry to the bone and had the taste of it had been cooked earlier in the day and than reheated before served. The asparagus however was the only thing I liked on my dish cooked perfect ! I sat near the entrance door to the kitchen and I clearly ordered the rong thing on the menu cause really nice burgers and other dishes were coming out ! So I recommend the restaurant but stay away from the chicken Brest!

I ordered the chicken tenders they were raw inside, service was fast but the food is mediocre I wouldn’t expect this from a large hotel chain.

We were too sleepy to dare venture out, so we celebrated a birthday at Costero while staying at Sheraton. We were impressed by great service and tasty food - especially both pasta dishes. I also recommend any reason to enjoy their salsa. And the burger got great reviews. ProTip: - Swap linguine for the penne on blacked chicken

Did not realize till after I got the bill that the 20% tip is already included on your bill. Food was good after I sent back my steak to get one that was medium rare versus well done though still not quite as medium rare as it should’ve been but better than it was the first time. Drinks are expensive.

Disclaimer: I usually do not eat at hotel/cafe/restaraunts. I loved that our entire group had to show proof of being vaccinated before we were served. Our server immediately took our drink orders. Three of us chose the micro-brews. The server recommended a real hoppy one and it truly was so very tasty. Pints were $9 which according to my friends was a fair price. :) Three of us had the cheeseburger with bacon added. Super good as were the fries. The rest of the group had the shrimp scampi and raved about it. GRAND son enjoyed two orders of the B-que chicken wings and it was easy to tell he loved them. Service was beyond great, food was served hot and to my pleasure someone else picked up the tab. :)

We had to stay at the Sheridan after missing our flight. We arrived very late and had just a short time to grab a bite. We ordered steak and pot stickers. Our steak was amazing. We were so happy. It came with these amazing garlic Parmesan fries and veggies (I guess on accident). The bartenders were very nice too. I would definitely recommend this place.

Wait staff was attentive and had great suggestions for food & drinks. Nice atmosphere during business travel.

An attractive bar and bistro located in the ground level lobby of the airport Sheraton. We were staying in another hotel in the area and decided to try this place for lunch. Nice ambiance. Prompt service. My wife had the soup of the day and mixed greens. Both were fresh and good. I had the Cali Chicken sandwich, which didn't have much taste and was a bit dried out. Pinot Grigio was good. Overall a decent lunch, but nothing special.

nice sit down place. its nice and open, and near the pool and other things like the entrance, and gift store.

Got a room here due to layover. Didn’t want to travel far, but wanted a decent meal. Got on TA and found this one in our hotel. A little pricey but as the saying goes- you get what you pay for. Very good! Service, food wine, everything. Would not hesitate to come back.

This was my first meal at Costero and my first visit to the Sheraton Gateway LA. (I'll write the hotel review after my next stay there in about 2 weeks.) This was a business dinner and we didn't want to leave the hotel because we were in a bit of a hurry. While I have little to complain about because the service was OK (except for one server, who was quite good!), as was the food, I also have nothing special to stay about Costero either. We spent most of our time talking but we all noticed that the whole experience was very average - sadly, what one would expect from a typical hotel restaurant. The ambiance was dull. There were few other customers. And the food was good but far from great. So, in a pinch I would recommend Costero. However, if you have other dining options, seriously consider them.

Fantastic buffet for Americans and European palates. The omelette station was a favorite every morning. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Antonio for making our morning so bright.

We were there as part of a large group (30 people) with a pre-ordered meal, and found the quallity well above what most hotels prepare for groups. The chicken was excellently prepared, obviously in a special way. Accompaniments were also of high quality and they accommodated special-diet-needs people with high quality substitutes. Service was flawless. I didn't care for the dessert but that might have been just my personal preference. We were in a side room. The main restaurant, which we walked through to get there, would have been too noisy for my tastes.

I arrived in the afternoon of my flight from Chicago. I needed to work in my room so I ordered a turkey sandwich to take to the room. It was excellent, and the bartender provided excellent and fast service.

It was a nice place to relax in the afternoon and have a few drinks and at times a little dinner as well. Service was really good , price was average for LA. Really enjoyed it , had plenty of TV screens with different content and was not really loud

We walked over to the Costero which is in the Sheraton after a long flight to LAX. We had a great late night dinner and drinks. Excellent food and enjoyed the atmosphere.

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton this restaurant is located in for 1 night so as to catch our very early flight across the street at LAX the next morning. We were both really hungry and went downstairs to try out the restaurant. We first went to the bar pictured above and waited about 35 minutes and we never got waited on. We then decided okay lets just go over to the restaurant. We were seated and it took another 45 minutes waiting for service there! They never even brought our drink order ahead and the food was cold. Very sad and the food was nothing to write home to Mom about. Overpriced and overcooked. If I ever have to stay there again (and I hope I don't) I would call for take out from something close by.

Had a very pleasant meal but was way overpriced for what we had. Shared a mushroom flatbread pizza, halibut, Manhattan Beach cioppino seafood, premium gin on the rocks and the bill was $110. Portion of the halibut was small and the seafood was mussels, shrimp and clams with some chunks of fillets...no rice or pasta and each were 36 and 38....good but not worth it. Nice server and pleasant setting but usually get more for the buck. Have no problems spending but this was at least 20% overpriced.

I ate at this new iteration of the restaurant at the Sheraton Gateway LAX. I had a steak and a Caesar. The steak was done right (cost $39) and came out promptly. I was able to also order a Caesar which is not on the regular menu but was on the room service menu and my server was adept enough to get the kitchen to make that for me, it was large and plentiful and I enjoyed it. Service was attentive but a little slow especially since the place was not that busy on the Friday night I was there. My only complaint is that the place is adjacent to the bar area with terrible acoustics such that it was soooo loud in the bar area which sound seeped well into the restaurant area and made chilling over a nice dinner virtually impossible. Maybe that is the intended effect, but you could never go there for a quiet intimate dinner. The place is a nice convenient option if needed but either bring your ear plugs or prepare to shout during your meal at prime bar time. I honestly liked this place better when the dining room was separate in its last iteration.

Did not have a full meal here, but the food I did eat was really good!! There was a banquet associated with my business meeting and the food served there was very good!

Good service, good beer. The pizza Had decent pepperoni but the crust was cardboard like. Nice atmosphere

Larger than Tapas , so between those and a main meal.My wife And I had the minestrone, which was excellent and just the right consistancy. I had the Veal Bolognese. This was just outstanding with fabulous flavour and brilliant hand made pasta I was so impressed I ordered a repeat serve. My wife had lamb and a panacotta for desert. She was very positive also. Wine list adequate ( we had a very good Russian Valley Pinot) service, ;perhaps a little slow but very pleasant

I've eaten here each time I've stayed at a hotel at LAX - - for an airport hotel is it surprisingly good! A recently introduced new menu of small plates and a good wine list. If you love wines and are eating at the bar area ask to see the wine list that they use in the restaurant of the same name across the way - some superb wines! The roasted Brussels Sprouts with Pork Belly and the Mussels in a Coconut Spicy Broth are both incredibly good.. The service at the bar is pretty good but my experience is that the women who bar tend are much more attentive, professional and engaged than almost all of their male counterparts!

Nice atmosphere, good food, good service. The menu has a variety of selections from pizza, to mussels, to steak

My husband and I enjoyed the Pork Belly and Brussels Sprouts while visiting the Sheraton Gateway this week. The food and service were both excellent. The staff went out of their way to bring a spicy aioli dipping sauce for the truffle fries, which was thoughtful and appreciated. Every staff member we interacted with was super pleasant and looked like they were really enjoying their jobs - how refreshing! We will be back this week ... looking forward to more Pork Belly!

If you're going to eat a $22 hamburger, it should at least be large and delicious---and, it is. Chicken wings in ginger soy sauce were also excellent. Servers are wonderful and attentive, and bartenders are knowledgeable about their wine and spirits.

Flight into LAX and quick shuttle to the Sheraton Gateway. Room check in and then here for late supper before bed. Excellent Cobb salad and shared the best veggie burger we have had anywhere. Great wait staff. Pleasant experience all the way around.

This place is the reason why I extended my 3 day stay at the Sheraton to a 6 day stay. I easily spent 500-600 dollars here in that week, doing both lunch and dinner. Yes, it is a very expensive place with 20% gratuity on top, but I still continued to tip on top of that because the service was fantastic. Everything is pricey, but the portions are robust, the quality of the meat is astounding in this day and age and the drinks were not watered down. If anything, it felt like every meal was perfectly filling and every drink was enough to get me a bit loose. Overall, exquisite Americana food and mixed drinks by a staff that actually cares. Above average presentation, top tier quality. The BEST Buffalo Chicken Wings I ever had in my life, I legitimately had them with their house made ranch daily every lunch, they were so good.

Needed to escape the noisy bar area and expense types so were seated in an ample booth. Enjoyed a lovely New York Strip with masses of fries. My wife enjoyed her Colorado Lamb T Bone steak

Good selection but was in mood for salad. Cobb salad was plentiful and tasty. Had all the things I enjoyed--Chicken, Bacon, Blue cheese

Lovely bar and bistro for a quiet drink and watch sport on the TV or a nice relaxed meal. Food and service was very good

From the moment I walked in the hotel, Marycruz, helped me settle into my nice suite on the 10th floor overlooking the airport. The room was very nice and open. The bed was so comfortable. After an appetizer, I went down for a light dinner at Costero. Jaime E. took care of me. We had a nice conversation and you could tell he was a tru professional and was a pleasure to have as a server. The food was pretty good and Id definitely get the Salmon again! Thank you!!!

We live in LA but would never think of going to the LAX area for dinner. But to our surprise, it was very good. Costero Bar & Bistro is located in the Sheraton Gateway minutes from LAX. We met up with our Columbus Ohio family, Winnie & Robert and their very grown up teenagers (Cyrus & Lily) for a stop over from Polynesia, their winter family excursion. We met them back in July of 2017 on the Viking voyage from Budapest to Amsterdam and over the 2 week cruise we would dine with them on several occasions...needless to say we became warm and fuzzy friends. It was a quick stay over in LAX as our Ohio friends were flying back the next day to their home state. We both took advantage to meet up and we chose Costero as they were looking for a change up in cuisine. Costero is a large unassuming restaurant part of the open bar concept of dining. We ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand and started with 3 appetizers which hit the spot with Pork Belly & Brussel Sprouts, sauteed corn and Baby Kale. My entree was the grilled chicken with Chorizo hash, slices of avocado and it was quite delicious.

I've spent a good portion of my young and fleeting life at a bar and I've begun to hit that stage in my life where I *know* what I like in a bartender. It doesn't help that I am also in the industry but I definitely can appreciate a bartender who is good at making conversation while simultaneously doing work. My husband and I stayed in The Sheraton during a 48 hour layover in LAX before we made the long flight home. It was a one night stay and we thought we would make the most of our stay in L.A and get a few drinks (as you do). A few turned into several which ultimately led us - albeit a bit drunker than expected - to the Costeros bar. As I nestled myself onto a bar stool, legs familiarly dangling just shy of the leg rest I was promptly tended to by a gentleman who smiled kindly and asked "How can I help?" I asked for a drink menu and, being a bit drunk, chatted idly. He listened, nodded, but would simultaneously shift bottles, put away glasses, or wipe down the counter top. When my partner joined me at the bar he was unsure of what beer to order - California had suddenly acquired many more microbreweries since I was last here in 1998. The bartender was swift to recommend a few and point out their locality. "This one is brewed just 15 minutes away from here..." he suggested when my partner edged toward his standard "Sierra Nevada." It was subtle and not over bearing, he was attentive but familiar. It wasn't until after chatting a bit more with him I found out his name was Horacio - he had been in bars for most of his life and had L.A. in his blood and down to his bone. We started chatting about Mezcal, the vibrant Hispanic culture, and tequila. He contributed - excitingly and educated me a bit about "proper tequila." He recommended bars in the area, told me places that he goes to, and the best place to get Mezcal. I probably chatted a lot of crap at him but if I did he made no inclination at it. Occasionally he would quickly shuffle off to help over customers - at which point a member of the bar team that night would quickly tend to us. It was refreshing and not suffocating. I learned the entire teams name: Horacio, Mario, and Francisco. Bartenders often get shrugged off as servers often and people can often forget these strange people dressed in all black behind the bar have names and stories. I honestly can't think of a better way to end the night - I was taken care of, as were the rest of the customers at the bar. I shared stories with a few of the barmen that night and it was like seeing a little piece of each of their lives and I loved it.

We decided to get burgers during our last night in LA. The burgers were great and very filling. Fried were so-so but I should have asked for another side. Atmosphere is great in Sheraton. Was a little expensive but so are most meals in LA area.

Have not eaten at this restaurant in over a year. Pleasantly surprised at the upgrade in service and food quality. Great place to take guests who are in between flights at LAX. Food quality is good and the server earned his tip. The wine was decent for the price. Valet parking is convenient and fast. When appropriate, will gladly set up future dinner meetings at this place.

I was at a conference at the Sheraton Gateway for a week last week and ate at Costero twice. I had the miso salmon with the rock shrimp rice one time and a burger the other time. Both were good meals but not great, the burger just ok, but the salmon and rice dish actually quite good. It is a tad on the expensive side overall but not for LAX areas, iced tea is $5 for example. Service still is a challenge, it is kind of hit or miss, and it is hard sometimes to flag down a server to take your order or bring simple things like ketchup or even a rollup with a napkin or silverwear. Plus it takes forever to pay and then get your bill. Worth it if you are staying at the Gateway but I surely would not seek it out.

Service was great...My server was very knowledgeable and guided us through the menu with experience. We had Roma Crunch & Avocado; Wild Mushrooms; Tuna Steak Burger; Pappardelle

Had meals there two times during this week's Conference at the Sheraton Gateway. One time a burger and wings, others in my group had a salad, all meals were good and came as ordered. The next time a smaller group, food was slow to come out and service was not as good as the first meal. The burger was good, cooked right, the fries done right also. The wings are good there also. It is loud in this place always, so be prepared. Don't go there for an intimate meal.

This hotel bar and restaurant is inviting, and the staff is well trained and welcoming. The bar and restaurant feature unique small plates that are just the right size. Most restaurants serve portions that are way too large. I enjoyed my meal so much that I returned the next night.

In an area that is largely devoid of "independent" restaurants, one is left to choose between the establishments of the several hotels in the immediate area. While I have not tried them all, the Costero California Bar and Grill is a good choice. We ate lunch there and were very happy with our food choice which was California club sandwiches all round. They were accompanied by very yummy duck-fat fried fries. The menu did seem a bit limited, but for us that was not a major concern as we all enjoyed our sandwiches. There was a good list of wines and beers. The service did seem slow, particularly as there were few people dining at the time. There were sufficient servers, but they seemed to disappear for long periods. The decor was pleasant, but seemed a little dark, especially on a bright sunny day. The chairs were attractive, but to in my opinion, not overly comfortable. Overall, a good choice for a hotel establishment.

The drinks are way overpriced, service is slow. Staff loves to spend their time communicating with each other (loudly) instead of assisting customers. The food is not worth the cost even with the happy hour discount on Food only (changes daily) of 25%. The do not offer a happy hour on libations only select beers.

Relaxing and nice atmosphere , the food was delicious, the lounging area is comfortable, service is very professional. Some of chairs are a little to close to the floor, but they have variety of sitting options.

A bit of a weird menu but get past that, have a local craft beer and enjoy . They serve local craft beer on tap so that has to be a plus. So we had dinner here and I really enjoyed the Kobe beef burger which was right up there with some of the best burgers I ever ate. The servers were friendly and good. The menu does lack variety though so I would not recommend bringing the kids.

Costero Bistro is located inside the Sheraton Gateway Hotel, they offer American fare with cocktails in a modern setting. We were a party of 6 and decided on lunch and dinner at the hotel. The great thing about being a bigger party is trying all the food. Sadly, during lunch because of the quantity of the food ordered, the quality had gone down. Lunch Barbacoa Nachos – 1/5 Came out first but the meat was cold, it was terrible Fish and Chips – 2/5 Boxed not fresh, missing the coleslaw that I saw on another pic. Barbacoa Tacos – 3/5 needed more seasoning Soy Glazed Salmon – 4/5 Only thing that came out steaming hot. Texas BBQ Burger – 3/5 too much BBQ sauce, fries were cold. Pasta Primavera – 3/5 not bad for a vegetarian dish Lunch rate 3/5 Dinner Old school Taco Salad – 4/5 delish, can add chicken but not steak Wild Mushroom pizza – 5/5 simple and delicious Spicy Italian Pizza – 4/5 came out hot but a bit salty Hawaiian BBQ Pizza – 4/5 Nice sweetness and tang Cesar Salad – 3/5 typical Simple green salad – 3/5 over dressed (Vinaigrette) – remember to ask for dressings on the side Dinner rating – 4/5

A decent place you can rely on to have a quiet time with your friends even on a Friday night! The cocktails were fairly good. Would definitely bank on this place to meet up with friends again.

We enjoyed some drinks and the very pleasant attentive at Costero. We were greeted by a friendly server. I am somewhat particular about how my cocktail is made. He made one for me that was perfect. My husband felt the same.

6 steps from the front desk. A bar, a restaurant , a cafe whatever you need it is there. Delicious appetizers, huge salads, great entrees. Gabriela and Eugenia were our servers. Great experience. Close to LAX

near my hotel Sheraton Gateway and the cocktail really good especially the steak was delicious, recommend the steak

Located in the Sheraton Gateway Hotel. We both had the Tuna Poke dish - healthy, fast and delicious. The Brasserie itself is not amazing, it's part of the hotel lobby, but the food is better than I expected.

Stayed at Hotel twice on our trip and ate at the bar which delivers food from the restaurant area. Service at bar was very good and friendly. A good range of wines and beers and as US goes a good range of boutique beers. Large screen tv and smaller ones within the area allowed the sports fans to keep up to date and we found good to watch. The bar area itself is very open, pool area outside, restaurant to one side and the foyer within view. The layout allows the area to flow very well. Pricing on the food was good as was the portions. As with the States the first course are quite large. Try the Monterey Bay Calamari, very good. My only issue came on our last day I ordered a medium steak and it was well done. Still nice. The wine prices as with all hotels needs to be looked at. Everyone charges well above prices. $38 for a wine you can get for $ 18!!!!!!!!!!! Overall a very good experience and it goes with the Sheraton Gateway. Both we would experience again.

This place has good service and local beer... And it has bomb.com food... The steak was like cutting thru butter nice and how I wanted.... Homemade desserts too....

I had lunch alone today at Costero’s in the Sheraton LAX; the Wagyu “handheld” hamburger was unexpectedly good: bacon, cheddar, meat cooked to order, on a brioche bun; coupled with perfectly cooked sweet potato fries, it was worth the walk from the Marriott! Server Gabriella was charming as well, chatted for a few minutes which I appreciate when out alone. I would definitely go back!

Went to this restaurant with my family and had a good time. The menu had a good variety and I was able to get bar menu for kids. Need to get a better wine by glass menu. Overall service was really good and friendly.

Service from Kevin was outstanding. Food or turkey club and a taco salad were great. Prices where high as you can expect from an airport hotel but overalll good

BE WARY OF CHARGES AT COSTERO RESTAURANT. This was booked by me for my elderly parents so as they could have a night of rest prior to an early flight (I was not with them). They arrived and went to the Costero restaurant on site tonight 10/23/23 around 7pm. My mom called me in a panic that the server mistakenly charged her $986.66 when her actual bill was $53.66. We both checked the account and the charge had already been run. When the bill was dropped off again, the 53.66 charge receipt was on top and it was not until my mom gathered her card and saw that the 986.66 charge receipt was behind the initial receipt. The server then stated that he threw out the receipt with the 986.66 charge when my mom asked for that receipt so as to show the bank. I worked in restaurants for many years and when such an error occurred with billing, the patron is entitled to any and all receipts and documentation of the error, period. I also find is incredibly odd as to the amounts ... 986.66 and 53.66 are insanely different costs .. a large party charge for a couple?! This incident was suspicions and the server's behavior and attitude was highly unprofessional. A manager then spoke with my parents who also stated that the receipt for the higher charge was not available and initially offered no documentation until my mom asked him to write a statement on the other receipt as to the error. The manager, Alex, was then helpful and wrote a statement as to the erroneous charge so at the very least this can be presented to the bank if need be. I also spoke with Alex who was professional . I truly am disappointed by how they were treated. This is a hotel chain and area that is supposed to pride itself on it's excellent service and none of this is apparent per this situation. To stress a patrol to this level is beyond reprehensible. Additionally, if you have worked in the restaurant industry, you are likely aware that the computer and billing systems they use are able to be manipulated by workers who are able to pocket cash in such 'errors.' I am asking that an audit or investigation is conducted by HR or supervisors regarding the incident as again, the employee's conduct is very suspicious in first, making such an error for a large difference of sums and secondly, for 'throwing away' the initial receipt which the patron is entitled to have to dispute the charge with their bank if necessary. If you have ever worked at a restaurant, you're aware of calculating your credit card and cash payments. In such instances, a server can charge a card for two parties. One of which paid cash, tell the manager it was an error, have that voided and then pocket the cash because the tallies will still be correct. I believe that is what happened in this case. How does one confuse an almost thousand dollar bill to a fifty dollar bill of two people? And then present the lesser charge, in the front of the receipt. I then called the Sheraton Gateway at 7:54pm and asked to speak with a manager and front desk manager, Coco, answered. As I was explaining the situation, she continually interrupted me for the name on the reservation and then I gave her the name. She placed me on a hold and transferred me back to Alex at the restaurant without informing me she was doing so. I further spoke with Alex and he stated the server's name was Edwin; he is usually a bartender and not a regular server. I then asked to be transferred back to Coco , waited several minutes, dead line, no answer. I called front desk again at 8:03pm asked to speak with Coco, they said hold, and it was transferred back to Costero restaurant. at 8:07pm I called a third time, then the operator stated she would take down my information for a call back from Coco. I informed her that I was already trasnferred back to the restaurant several times and in Central time zone ahead by 2 hours. She insisted that I either hold or provide call back information. I then asked for the general email line for Sheraton Gateway which she kept stating to please hold. I asked her why I would need to be placed on hold when simply asking for the general email line she just kept repeating please hold. She then stated there is no general email line...is this true Sheraton Gateway? Needless to say, the customer service is not at all the industry standard here. Placed on multiple holds, a front desk manager (Coco) who refuses to speak with patrons during difficult situations, suspicious rushed charges of several hundred dollars and thrown out receipts...must be the standard for Sheraton Gateway. Pic is of how many times I called seeking to speak with manager Coco as I was continually transfered and placed on hold. I asked for sheraton complaints phone number or email but the front desk said they do not have one.

I had lunch here several times during my stay & enjoyed the soup of the day each time. The first day it came out stone cold & I did send it back to be reheated but it was delicious as was every soup I had. The house Chardonnay is also great & service was good to. Overall loved it.

This was the most convenient place to hit during my conference but it sure slammed my wallet. It's what you expect in a Sheraton hotel though. Service was good depending on who you got as a waiter. The bartenders service was really fast and they were very friendly.

Ate here twice during layovers. Food was good - enjoyed the NY Steak with some fries.Bar staff were excellent giving recommendations on local craft beers and wine. Would return for a bite even if not staying in the hotel as it is easy to get to the terminals.
