Small cozy tasty French cuisine

By WorldTravelerTom |

This is a small little place but they bent over backwards with our reservations for 15 of us for Father’s Day. We were tight and cozy. Service was great. Food was amazing. Many had steak, sandwiches, oysters, Ratatouille quiche, Tried a lot of new things like pork pâté and foie gras “ (French: “fat liver”) a delicacy of French cuisine, the liver of a goose or duck that has been fattened by a process of force-feeding. What is generally regarded as the best foie gras is produced in the province of Strasbourg.” Everyone enjoyed. Again just small and warm inside.

Wonderful Wednesday night in San Francisco near the Marina district.

We had a family of 6 and everyone had a great time. I had scallops & French onion soup, the others had black cod, stale w/ pomme frites and other delicious choices. The management was very accommodating and the waitress excellent. We sat next to the kitchen and watched the cooks make it all from scratch. A great place.

Wonderful taste of France and charming!

We had a wonderful meal start to finish. From the moment the owner greeted us warmly we felt like we had made a great choice. Our reservation was honored and we were seated promptly and the staff and owner came over to us throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed. We shared the onion soup that was spectacular and the summer salad and the cauliflower with grapefruit and goat cheese was another stand out. I had the sole fish special which was moist and flavorful and might partner loved her pork chop. And we finished with the warm chocolate desert that was incredible. The atmosphere inside is lively and fun and everything about the evening here was memorable. Can't wait to return.

Oh My Goodness! We had a *GORGEOUS* time at Cote Ouest last night... It's an absolute MUST! Couldn't get enough of the tomato/burrata/nectarine salad, the perfectly roasted chicken with magic morels!, and the luscious black cod... Mmmmmm! Oh we were in heaven! Blown away! We met Laurent, and he and his team cared for us as though we were his family, beautiful service, fabulous Provencal vibe, all just perfect... Thank you all so much... we cannot wait to come back and indulge in everything else on your lovely menu! XooxOXoOooo, Jesa

Nice French Bistro near Presidio/Crissyfield

The weekday lunch special set (1 appetizer, 1 entree) is enough to share, but we ordered 2 sets and enjoyed the leftover. We've had the sauteed calamari, onion soup, salad, steak, beef with wine, all very good. Friendly and attentive staff that brings you more bread before you ask.

Excellent in all areas

This restaurant is a true French bistro. The menu offers a nice range of dishes. Prices are reasonable, service is excellent, and the food is delicious. We have been there 5 or 6 times, enjoying our dinner each time. Large bowls of mussels, steak, frites- all terrific. I’m glad to have a place like this near my home!

A real gem in San Francisco

Uno dei migliori ristoranti di San Francisco, autentico, semplice, accogliente, ottima cucina, eccellente servizio, si mangiare vini e la carta dei vini è molto interessante e non eccessivamente cara. The food is excellent, the service great, the owner very friendly, really one of the best places in San Francisco.And.. it's not too loud and noisy like most restaurants these days. Really highly recommended
