Classic Date Spot in Wrigleyville

By DSHBOLDLY |

In a tucked away space south of Wrigley Field, Cozy is one of the best restaurants on the north side for a date. The walls are covered with fun trinkets, the staff is nice and fast, and the food is mouthwateringly good. The lunch special is also a treat. Be prepared to wait or sit outside on a busy night, but you will be glad you did.

Loved this truly cozy diner!!

Wow, what a great find! I was in Chicago for a visit April 22-24, 2006. While staying at the nearby 'The Villa Toscana' B&Breakfast (see my review on Tripadvisor), I wandered a few blocks from Boystown to stumble upon this little jewel. It is a primarily Thai-menu, and the staff were quite young and hip. Service was astounding, and the ingredients were very fresh. Prices were very reasonable as well - $3.50 for a bowl of Tom Yum soup with chicken, $6.50 for most noodle dishes. Most major credits were accepted without problems, and receipts happily provided for business travelers like myself. I was so impressed by the food and service that I went there to eat TWICE in the 48hrs that I was there. I had the Tom Yum soup with chicken the first time (very good, a little on the sweet side compared to what I've had in California and in Malaysia, but still has that good sour and hot punch to it, and lots of greens with hearty mushrooms and tomatoes) with a plate of their 'basil spicey thick-rice noodle' dish (can't remember the name exactly) which was also very good. The second time I visited, I again had their chicken Tom Yum soup, but opted instead for their version of Yum Nuah (spicey Thai marinated beef salad) which was also very good, with a healthy portion of tender beef. All in all, highly recommended!

Best in town...

Best in town...

Wow..and..Wow

By Adie T |

A former colleague suggested meeting for lunch here before a Cubs game (I was in town for a 10 game home stand). Firstly, the clientèle. A smallish restaurant but was serving groups of Cubs employees so it must be good I thought. How true I was. So sevobly, the food. The lunch menu was wide-ranging, very, very, very reasonable, extremely tasty and more than plentiful (my friend even had to get a doggy bag). Thirdly, and finally, the decor. Embarrassingly I spent sooooo much time looking at the wacky toys, posters, Cubs memorabilia but that's expected I was told. Anyeay, I was going to post a pic but no, you must go to see and enjoy the food & experience for yourself!

Loved This Place for Over 10 Years

By SpartyGirl888 |

We have been going to Cozy's for over 10 years and we LOVE it. We have tried many different Thai restaurants in chicago and there are none that we like more than this. There's a family who owns the restaurant and have been there for years. We love that about the restaurant. The decor in the restaurant is super cute.... filled with Wrigleyville,Cubs and Chicago decorations, this place is so adorable. It's warm and "cozy" in the winter and welcoming and fun in the summertime. There's nowhere that feels more like home more than Cozy's. A local girls dream..... :) We will be regulars here as long as they are in business. Go Cubbies Go!

Great service and good value for money

By Joanna S |

I enjoyed my meal here - the decor is fun and nostalgic, the food was fast and tasty and the service was great! The Pad Thai wasn’t the best I’ve had but the Basil Chicken dish was delicious! Good value for money as we ordered from the lunch menu and our service was great. Make sure to check out the girls toilet, really cool decor!

Eclectic Thai restaurant

By trvlwrldgrl |

The decor took me by surprise. I've never been in an Asian restaurant filled with toys, comics and cartoon characters. The bathroom walls were covered in Pez dispensers! The decor alone made this a memorable dining experience. The food was a great; standard Thai options and some had a twist. I tried their unique crispy pad thai dish. It was good, but I did get tired of crispy noodles after the first couple. It made me wish I had ordered a traditional noodle dish. The appetizer selection I ordered was really good; it came with crab rangoon, dumplings and spring rolls. It was definitely a very rich, deep-fried dinner! It was enjoyable though and I had a decent-sized doggy bag to take home. The two annoying things were that they don't serve alcohol and only take cash. I didn't realize this about cash only until after I ordered. They do have an ATM inside the restaurant, but how annoying is that? I hate using ATM's not affiliated with my bank because of all the extra charges they lay on. I would return to this restaurant, but come armed with cash next time!

Good stop before a concert

By Kristin G |

It was not very crowded, they had good service, a nice selection, and they were able to work with dietary restrictions and everything was delicious.

Cash Only

By Kim B |

Recommended by our son who is a local college student. The service was excellent. We had fried tofu and pad Thai, both were good. Serving sizes were nice for left overs. As travelers who often use credit cards, this place is CASH ONLY. Would definitely visit again.

First time disappointed in Cozy

By Kristin G |

We go here every time we come to Wrigleyville and I have never been anything other than extremely pleased. We enjoyed the crab Rangoon and fried rice but I made the mistake of ordering the crispy padtai based on the fact that it had been a special since 2002. Thinking wow it must be great. It was inedible. No flavor, no vegetables, just gross. Stay away from that and you should be good.

Go now - get some great Thai food!!

By Cake0rDeath |

Yes, it's as good as everyone is saying. If you love Thai food and you're visiting Chicago - get to the nearest Red Line station and head North to the Addison stop in Wrigleyville. Grab a bottle of wine or some craft beer at the liquor store because it's BYOB. Small clean restaurant, friendly staff, great portions and tons of flavor. Go right now!!

By IAmHereNow562 |

This is a popular neighborhood eatery, and the food is very good- standard Thai fare. The only thing i didn't like is that their 2-people tables are tiny and very closely situated. If you tend to get claustrophobic, stay away.

Good pre game spot

By bobd4292015 |

We went here on the recommendation of a tour guide. He said it wouldn't be crazy busy before a Cubs game due to a lack of a liquor license. He was right but the place was filled by the time we were done eating. I would suggest getting in by 5:30 on game nights. Anyway, service was good and efficient. Food was good. Not the best I've ever had but above average which is a good place to be. The decor is definitely interesting. So good food, good service and got you in and out in a reasonable amount of time for a game. All in all it was a good visit.

Style to spare.

By onecoolraisin |

This place is fantastic. We met friends here for dinner since it was one of their favorite spots & I see why. The meal was excellent & the coconut bubble tea was great. We sat outside by Betty Boop but the inside is the real spectacle. Great place to fill your asian craving.

A feast for the eyes... and stomach... and bank account.

By MsAsays |

Small and definitely cozy. Bizarre, cheerful, fun decor. Imagine a small space with bright yellow walls, shelves and shelves of robots, vintage American and Asian toys, and baseball and thermometer plaques. The tables have metal sewing machine legs (complete with moving parts), with flowered mosaic tops. I hear the bathrooms are some sort of Pez dispenser shrine... missed that, maybe next time. Very low prices; most entrees are $7.50 or less. Incredibly fast and friendly service (about five minutes between ordering and eating). Beautiful, delicious food. Have I eaten better Thai food before? Upon reflection, yes. But it's still great, and the price and ambiance can't be beat. I dare you to visit and not smile.

Good... but I don't think I've found the right item on the menu yet. Pad See Ew definitely is not it.

By ChicagoMB |

Don’t miss out on this cute spot

By UFGatorMamaBehr |

This restaurant has so much character. The chef came out and greeted the patrons and all of the stuff were friendly and helpful. I ordered potstickers and pad woon sen with shrimp. All of my food was fresh and delicious. Will be back!

No go for Pad Thai

By trifecta382 |

Yeah, there is a lot of kitsch everywhere you look, and the service is quick and efficient. However, the Pad Thai was simply not good. Given the deep orange color and unbalanced taste, I'm guessing there was too much tamarind. Could only finish half. I may try again, but I doubt it. Then again, maybe other dishes are better?

Kind staff, great atmosphere

By Alissa P |

This was our first stop in Chicago after arriving on the late train and was a perfect 'welcome to the neighborhood'! We had the Pad Thai and the General Tso's chicken. Carry out was our only option as they were getting ready to close, but the food was fresh and hot and the gentleman working the register was incredibly kind. If I'm ever in this area of Chicago again, I'll be back!

Great authentic Thai food and some with a twist!

By Jon N |

We were searching for a place to eat outside of Wrigley and we stumbled upon Cozy. We saw just how many people were in the restaurant and thought that was a very good sign. We were not disappointed! My wife had the Crispy Pad Thai which was a nice twist. When the noodles are deep fried they have this crunchy texture that gives the dish a nice contrast. I had the Pad Kee Mao which was our server's choice. It was a bit spicy but delicious! It reminded me of the out of way places in Khaosan Road in Bangkok where we would sit, watch the crowds, and enjoy Thai food. Can't wait to go back before a Cubs game!

I've only had delivery, but the pad thai is great.

By WindyCitySarah |

I've only had delivery, but the pad thai is great.

Very cute and cozy little

By Clevlander |

Very cute and cozy little restaurant in the Boystown neighborhood. It’s truly a neighborhood gem. The food is very good, with excellent service and inexpensive for the quality that you receive. The place was packed and it’s a very popular little restaurant in the area. We had the cashew chicken which was well spiced with a sweetness to it that we enjoyed. Recommended!

Fun Asian restaurant

By Bill&TrishW |

Stopped here to eat with a friend. The decor was a lot of fun. Pez dispensers and bobbleheads all over the walls. The food was very good. A very good sized portion for the price. I had the bubble tea to drink. It was very good. I had never had a tea with huge tapioca balls in it before. It was very good. Very good place to eat and would definitely go back again. Very close to Wrigley Field and a lot of people eating there before going to a concert there.

Great place, incredible food, reasonable prices. Not for large groups (to dine in)

By bolza |

This was such a fun surprise. It's a very small Thai place on a quiet residential street. Wouldn't be great for large groups, but perfect for my friend and I. There are only about 12 tables in the whole place. I had the crispy pad thai, it was AWESOME!! Loved it. I also highly recommend the thai bubble tea. It's sweet like a milk shake. If you are around this area for lunch, dinner or take out, I give it my highest recommendation.

So Fun & Best Service!

By John J |

We live near Cozy and head there all the time for great food, a great atmosphere, great service and BYOB. The restaurant is decorated with toys from the past and the staff is always very friendly and polite. They have great lunch specials and carryout specials.

Great food, great decor, great people

By Kelly V |

I've gone to this place from the year it opened. The food is great, yummy Thai food. The decor is super fun. This was our go-to place to bring out-of-town guests to wow them with the fun decor and yummy food. It is also my go-to place for dinner with friends--BYOB. Best thing is the owners and wait staff always remember me and say hi, how's you son, he is growing, etc. Just some of the nicest small-business owners in Chicago. They even have a parking lot with about 4 spots, which is unheard of in this neighborhood. 2- minute walk to red line. Order the cashew chicken or curry or pad see ewe (sp?). Yum.

Best food we had in Chicago.. For real great!

By Roadmaster2013 |

So we ended up here as I was with my Son who is a vegetarian. When we first saw it we were less than impressed. Big signs …small place… tight tables. Glad we trusted the reviews. Food was unbelievable . Why can’t I find a place like this near where I live? Super Suzuki was amazing. As was the tofu pad Thai. Give it a shot . I”m coming back

Happy camper!!

By B482blue |

Cool atmosphere, good prices, really good food!! Decorated with lots of interesting stuff! Crab rangoon is da bomb! I also had the crispy pad thai... Different spin with really good flavor.

Missing this place already!

By Danielle C |

I tried this because it was a few feet from the hostel I was staying at (Wrigley Hostel - amazing, by the way) and it was incredible! Not only were the staff friendly for take-out orders last minute, but they also kept the kitchen open longer for us since we didn't see that they had closed ten minutes beforehand. They gave us water while we waited for the food and always got our orders right! Good value for the amount of food you get too - plus the interior designs/decorations are super cool!

Hidden gem in Wrigley

By Julio C |

I have to say I really enjoyed the food here at lunchtime. A tiny in the hole spot in a area that if you don't pay attention you could just miss it. I am not sure why I kept getting Kung Fu Hustle when eating here however, I did like all the nostalgia themed "artifacts" in there. Probably sits about 30 people and I do want to mention that it is a cash only place when coming here. Though they were a little slow on taking my order I was fine with that since I had to figure out what I wanted. I had started with a hot passion mango tea and a chicken noodle soup and my lunch was the Pad Thai which I really enjoyed. I couldn't finish it all but it was really delicious. Just the way I like it. I give it 4 stars. I'd definitely come back. I just have to make sure I bring more cash with me. Once again this is a very nice hidden gem. I can imagine it when they get busy busy. It has my attention for sure.

Great Thai food in Wrigleyville

By jfitterer |

My favorite hidden gem isn't so hidden anymore... word has spread fast about how good Cozy Noodle is! Fun, quirky decor and great service complement excellent Thai food. It's one of those places where everything I've had is great, but I consistently go back to my favorite - the Pad See Ew with beef. Great for lunch, too!

Great!

By JessKuhagen |

I always have takeout but it is always great!last time i decided to go out and as it turns out it is a great place to hang out with friends. Great food for a great value!

Great find - absolutely loved it

By WLB |

Found this place after having visited Wrigleyfield - wandered around the area and came across Cozy Noodle & Rice so went in for lunch - so glad I did. Owner and staff really friendly, food was excellent and fast. The prices are amazing. Can recommend the potstickers as they were great! The walls are covered with various things and are great to look at. The ladies bathroom walls are covered with the old pezz toys.

Super cute place with delicious food and friendly service

By isasamoto |

We had a hankering for noodles so this pulled up on my google search (we were shopping at Belmont Army Surplus). Was a quick 10 minute walk. We were greeted and sat immediately. They have so many cute, interesting things as their decor. And apparently everything is "for sale". I had a delicious garlic chicken noodle dish and my husband had a wonderful garlic chicken and broccoli dish. Super yummy. Our hostess (who I think was the owner) was so sweet and friendly. We very much enjoyed this lunch stop and would highly recommend it to everyone!

Super Thai

Great authentic Thai food. Everything ordered was delicious. Fun and cool ambiance. Warm service. A definite must try!

Great little spot!

Great and fun place to go for a bite to eat. The place is surrounded with old toys, and classic toys or collectibles ! They have delicious bubble tea and food is decently priced as well !

Tasty and fast

By Scott319 |

We ordered from this restaurant on a Saturday evening. Food was ready promptly and very good. They even gave us a free sample of a dish. We got beef green curry that was delicious. I would be happy to eat here again.

Just about the cutest place to eat in the world

By Matt B |

The owners, Tee and Lou, are amazing and can often be seen giving high fives and hugs to returning customers (me included!). Oh, and the Thai food is the best I've found! A real Chicago gem.

Good food and location!

By csoby4 |

We sat outside on a nice afternoon before a Cubs game. We took advantage of their lunch specials. The food was very tasty! Very good service, everyone was very friendly.

Good food, good service

By jbird425 |

We ate here on a Saturday night after attending a Cub's game. We were just walking around enjoying the atmosphere after the game and looking for a place that wasn't lined up out the door when we stumbled onto this little gem. They have all kinds of cubs bobble heads on the wall and other toys. In the bathroom the walls are covered with pez dispensers. The service was really good and everything we got was fantastic. The crab rangoon was probably the best that I ever had. Warning: they take cash only. After the game we had just enough for dinner and tip without having to visit the atm inside.

Fun decor, excellent food, friendly staff.

By yg.Lys |

This is a small-ish thai restaurant near Wrigley field. They only take cash, and at least on the date/time I went - most people came in for take out. However, I noticed that the staff knew and was very friendly/familiar with almost every customer that came in. Everyone seemed very tightknit, and the staff looked like they genuinely enjoyed working there. As for the food. I ordered thai ice coffee, which was excellent. I also ordered curry ramen, which was also called the red line special (the train line near the restaurant). The broth was 10/10, best curry broth I've ever had. The food also came out very fast, the menu was quite extensive. I would highly recommend the place. I hope to go back and try more of their menu whenever I get a chance to go back to Chicago.

Yummy

By lunzki7 |

Our daughter and son in law took us to this restaurant for Dinner. The place was packed but we were able to get a table right away. The restaurant itself is a sight to behold, it is decorated with interesting stuff, old trains and toys lined the walls. We ordered cucumber salad, beef salad, crispy pad Thai, shrimp curry, chicken satay and spicy chicken basil. we love them all, so yummy. Best Thai food I had so far in Chicago .I plan on dining here again whenever I am in town. To all Thai food lover, go eat at this place and you won't get disappointed.

Great little spot

By Dirk A |

A pretty small little restaurant with lots of interesting stuff inside with all kind of themes. I had chicken pad Thai and it was great. And really cheap. Service was good, got a table no problems and the meal came out really quickly.

A cute place!

By HighlandCreek |

The Cozy Noodle is a small Thai restaurant near Wrigley Field that is inexpensive and provides delicious food! We got 20% off by presenting our tickets to the Cubs. An adorable spot, filled with bright colours and shelves full of toys. We sat next to Elvis at diinner. A memorable meal and certainly worth going to if you are in that part of Chicago.

Great Thai Noodle.

Great Thai Noodle.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant!

By cj_6061 |

I've been eating at Cozy Noodles and Rice for more than 10 years. In this time I've gotten to know the owners well, Tee and Julie are overwhelmingly generous and talented restaurateurs. The food presentation is artwork, and it's absolutely delicious. The restaurant ambiance and decor is unique and fun. All of the tables and restaurant decorations are handmade by the owners. It's the perfect place for a group of friends, or a fun date night. I simply can't recommend this place enough, it is my favorite restaurant in the city. If you're looking for a place to eat before the Cubs game or any time of the year, don't miss Cozy Noodles and Rice.

My Favorite Hole-In-The-Wall

By cubsfan16 |

This place has great atmosphere, great service, and great atmosphere all at great prices. I would gladly recommend this place to all of my friends, except I don't want anyone to know about it. It my secret.

A terrible place! Disgusting food, I was poisoned by Golden Noodles. I don't recommend this place to anyone!!!

A terrible place! Disgusting food, I was poisoned by Golden Noodles🤮🤮🤮 I don't recommend this place to anyone!!!

I love you Cozy...

By jrendiv |

But why you raising your prices?! This was my GO TO spot in college..20 years old living around the corner. I almost want to give this place a FIVE STAR still because i love their golden noodle dish so much. I can't find it anywhere else.

Cozy and delicious food

By Dragonfly1004 |

We love the service and atmosphere. It's a happy place to go to. The steamed pot stickers, spring rolls, and shrimp shumai as appetizers are delicious. The tom kar soup and tofu vegetable soup are really good and filling. Skip the chicken noodle soup. Usually I get the pad kee mao which is tasty and can be made spicier. The lychee drink is made with actual lychees and very refreshing. We keep going back when in the neighborhood. Park in their lot or just down the street on Sheffield for free.

Yummy little spot!

By DaniPickle |

I'm already planning my next trip to see my son around our meal at this sweet lil place. Maybe we'll even go twice! Since heading home, two hours away I haven't stopped thinking about the only place that has gotten the "heat" right in my Chinese/Thai food in years! Cozy is a charming little hole in the wall near Wrigley that is by far a one-of-a-kind place filled with beloved toys from my childhood. Pez dispensers fill the women's bathroom from top to bottom and the restaurant's walls are filled with more of the same. Not a boring spot on the wall! We ordered an appetizer of Crab Ragoon that was delicious. Many probably would complain that it wasn't full of real crab, but it was how we enjoy it. Lots of cream, a hint of garlic and crab. Wrapped in a crisp wonton and served with a sweet plum sauce. So good! My son and I each ordered our fav, Cashew Chicken. It was very tasty with really good spice. The only thing we both said we'd like is a little more chicken, as neither of us are veggie eaters. We had never had pineapple in cashew chicken before, but it was a tasty addition. Hubby had the Red Curry, which we actually order at most Thai restaurants as KaRee Curry or a yellow curry. He loved it. It had so many veggies and depth of flavor as well. Service was great and our water glasses were constantly refilled-love that, especially when eating spicy dishes. My son, who lives nearby is happy that he's found a yummy take-out spot!

A neat place!

By Christielucas |

We stopped here for lunch. I had the pad Thai and it was so good we ordered another plate to share. My husband had the fried rice but he loved my pad Thai. The mini egg rolls were really good too. I also had the cucumber salad it was very fresh. Very reasonable for lunch and you got a good amount of food. The decor was really cool. Lots of nostalgic toys, radios, signs and cub things. I would definitely go back!!!!

Our go to!

By EileenC1963 |

We have been going to Cozy Noodle in Chicago and Evanston for years and have never been disappointed by the food or the price. Our favorite is the Tom Kar soup. It's delicious; creamy, fragrant with just enough spice! My daughters love the orange chicken.

Recommend to anyone in the area

By solstice21 |

Such a cute place. The walls were covered in vintage toys, signs, bobble heads and other memorabilia, which gave this Thai place a fun retro Americana vibe. AND, the food was terrific. Variety of noodle dishes and awesome crab rangoon. It's BYOB so bring a six pack and ask for a bucket of ice.

Great!

By JBerin |

This place is at the end of my block, and is a quick go-to place for us. The dine in, carry out, and delivery have all been consistent. The food has been great every time we've ordered. The prices are cheap, and the portions are big. This is becoming one of our favorite neighborhood spots.

best Green Curry and Thia Food

By csisken |

I eat here about once a week. the food and service is great!! we love the green curry (its the best i've ever had) and we also like their rice dishes, and pad thia. everything is good!

Great Place

By wanderlustgirl77 |

We recently attended a concert at Wrigley, getting there at dinner time on a Friday. We couldn’t get in anywhere to eat until we walked by Cozy Noodle – the sky threatened of rain but they let us sit outside (never did rain) and we had an incredible dinner – so glad we stumbled upon this place. Excellent food, good size portions (not too much or too little), very fresh! The two of us had dinner, in the city, for under $30 and that was with tip - when does that ever happen?!

Best Spot Right by Wrigley Field, Great Food, CASH ONLY!

By Anita S |

The only complaint I have is they should tell you before you order that it is cash only - we were from out of the country and getting cash is not as easy as you'd hope even while there is an ATM right in the restaurant. A lot of international travelers relay on VISA to get them through eateries and shopping. Apart from that, the food was great - we had spring rolls and pad thai as well as spicy chicken wings (not too spicy, delicious) - and sesame chicken (a very popular dish that amounts to sweet and sour chicken but better) - comes with a nice simple salad and white rice. Absolutely delicious food. Service was friendly and helpful. They do not have all the dishes on their menu every day, so ask if something is available - there is a very intriguing duck dish on the menu but they only make it on certain days, so I couldn't get it, which was disappointing. The atmosphere within the place is so unique, it is worth it just for the colourful decorations and bobbleheads, pez dispensers, disco balls, etc. It is small but comfortable. Prices are very reasonable. For 4 people with appetizers, soft drinks and main meals, I paid $48 US - that's the cheapest we were able to eat in all of Chicago. It is really a 5 minute walk from Wrigley and a great place to stop by before an evening game or after a weekend afternoon game for an early dinner. I would go back next time we are at Wrigley for sure. Jealous we don't live in town to go regularly. Also, we met two wonderful people who were local sitting beside us. They gave us many excellent tips for the neighbourhood eateries and shops and were super friendly - they apparently eat there about once per week - it's a regular stop for many of the locals, which is always a great sign. The place was packed at 5 pm on a Saturday for early supper eaters. Thanks for a great meal and time.

Worth it for the soup!

By jjlutefisk |

I gave been to Cozy numerous times while we have passed through Chicago. I have never been disappointed. The Tom Kha soup with chicken is the stuff I dream about. The service was phenomenal and everyone in my party enjoyed themselves.

What a gem! The food is delicious, and the owners are so lovely. This has become our go-to when we’re going to Wrigley Field.

Heaven

By Dream14055622550 |

My favorite restaurant in the city! I don't know which is better, the food or the atmosphere- they're both terrific! If you like the Cubs, pop culture, and Thai Food- you really can't go wrong.

Not a Fan

By ChicagoChristopher |

We ordered Cozy for delivery over the weekend. We were less than pleased. The veg egg rolls, including the free-bee "mini-eggrolls" (over $20?) were soggy and greasy. My Crazy Noodle dish was way over-cooked -- noodles mushy and broccoli almost turning grey. My partner had Cashew Chicken which was OK, but hard to mess up. Not likely to order for delivery again. Had some nice meals eating in at their place, though.

Quick service, great food

By Andy D |

Awesome place. It's a special little restaurant that always makes you feel welcome. Service is great and quick, food tastes delicious. Most if the items I tried are close to perfect. Some a little salty, but it's a great experience overall. It's really an experience for the good and for the decor (vintage toys and things everywhere! Love it!)

Cozy and cute

By Andy D |

Prices went up a little, not as cheap as it used to be. But still a cute, cozy place. Service is great, food tasty and experience good. Good option for a quick bite in the neighborhood but still a little fancy

Good thai food. BYOB and cash only

By Kevin S |

Ate here for dinner and given the nice weather, we decided to eat outside. We were aware that this is a “bring your own bottle” place so we stopped on the way and bought a 6 pack. Our waitress immediately brought out a bucket of ice for the beer which was greatly appreciated. I had the spring rolls as an appetizer and crispy pad thai. The spring rolls were very good and the pad thai tasty, although I would not go with crispy again, as I found this made them a bit hard to chew (jaw was tired by end of the meal). Overall, we had a nice meal with good service. Cash only was disappointing.

Delicious

This place is incredibly delicious. Genuine Thai and very affordable. The owner, family and staff were very friendly. I can not wait to eat here again!

Fun and Delicious!

By Chile4 |

We had taken the Wrigley Field tour and parked our car by this cute restaurant. Instead of trying to find another restaurant and parking again..we decided to try it. What a great surprise. The atmosphere was delightful and the food was sooooo good! I had the Pad Khee Mao Noodle (spicy). It was spicy and had me breaking out in a sweat.....Loved it!!Want to go back.

Best Crab Rangoon and Thai Iced Tea

By LMTurtle |

I love this place and have loved it since my days in Evanston in the early 2000s. The crab rangoon and Thai iced tea are the best I've had anywhere and the Pad Thai is different but really good. This restaurant is a required stop whenever I'm in Chicago.

Make your way to the side streets for some good local cuisine. Cozy Noodle is a favorite of local pastors and family alike.

Great setting close to Wrigley Field

By Robert D |

We sat outside on a beautiful day. We sat for a long time and there was no rush to shoo us away. Very relaxing in the shade. Servings were average size, and delicious. Spiced just right. Great indoor decorations and colorful. Good service. Fair prices.

Great Food, Service and Atmosphere

By dwolff517 |

We have passed this restaurant many times on the way to Wrigley and have always wanted to give it a try. Yesterday on our first Cubs game of the year we finally took the plunge and tried Cozy. We had several appetizers; shrimp, egg rolls and chicken wings. For our entrees we had Pad Thai and Curry Chicken. Everything was outstanding. The shrimp appetizers were one of the best I have ever had. The service was quick and friendly. This restaurant has a very quirky decor that really adds to the experience. Highly recommend!

Go for atmosphere, not the food

By JRB1501 |

We ate at Cozy on a weeknight in December. It's no doubt a fun spot for Cubs fans to grab a bite (with its collection of player bobbleheads and kitsch), but as a Thai restaurant, it is mediocre. The food is not fresh and not properly spiced. Look elsewhere for your Pad Thai fix.

Affordable & delicious!

Love this place. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door. The menu had enough choices on it to suit everbody's taste. They also have lunch specials which is what we ordered. Our waiter and the rest of the staff were terrific. The food was absolutely delicous and the prices very reasonable. Make sure to use the bathroom before you leave you won't be disappointed. Will definitely go back!!!

SUPER Friendly Place to Eat Near Wrigley Field

By dknight818 |

We were in Chicago in June for a few days and were walking around Wrigleyville waiting for the gates at the ballpark to open looking for somewhere...ANYWHERE to get a decent meal before we were trapped by hotdogs and beer for a few hours. Luckily, we happened upon Cozy Noodle and Rice right as they opened. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming, the menu was perfect for one carnivore and one vegetarian and the patio was a great people watching spot. We both had a good meal, the prices were good and we even got a discount by showing that we had Cubs game tickets for that day. Even though it was a random happenstance sort of find, I will definitely be back to Cozy Noodle and Rice the next time I'm in Chicago and would recommend it.

Disappointed In The Food

By Linda K |

I have always loved Cozy Noodles on Sheffield and that's why I was so disappointed when I carried out food a few days go. The Tom Yum soup was weak tasting. I had to search for the pieces of chicken. It was full of mushrooms. The usual good flavor was missing. I ordered the pad see eiu with beef, which cost extra. The beef was so tough I couldn't eat it. The noodles were good. It was extremely disappointing since Cozy Noodles used to be my favorite Thai restaurant

Quick delivery, great food!

It was a rainy evening and we had a craving for Thai food, Cozy Noodle & Rice delivered fast and the food was hot and delicious! Would recommend over the other options around Wrigleyville!

Interesting Thai Restaurant

By easyflier |

The name says it all. A small restaurant serving an extensive Thai menu. Both hot and spicy and mild dishes are available. Other than the food, it is uniquely decorated with vintage toys, signs, and memorabilia beautifully displayed. Reasonable prices and good service, makes this a great place it dine. It also helps that it is located just half block from Wrigley Field on Sheffield.

Quick and yummy

This place a Ways delivers fresh, good quality, Thai food. It's alWays crowded on weekends so plan ahead it's a small restaurant! I really enjoy the golden noodles and crazy noodles. The crab Rangoon is good too. Service is very quick and it's byob.

Quirkiest plave with delicious Thai Food!

This place is so much fun. From Pez dispensers to vintage lunchboxes- the atmosphere is really neat. This location is very small and tight, but it's worth it! All of the items I have had on the menu are delicious and I always bring my friends from out of town here. Relaxed atmosphere and BYOB.

Food that I dream about

Every time I visit my brother, it's not complete unless we go to Cozy Noodle. Their Tom khar soup is so rich and creamy. My sister loves the crispy pad Thai. I really enjoyed the red curry with chicken. My brother always gets an order of baby egg rolls.

Best Thai food in Chicago!

Amazing food and great environment!! Fun toys around to enjoy the ambiance. Super cheap!! You can also print coupons on their website. Noodles panang is their best dish. Try the bubble tea too - So yum!

Delicious Noodles

Cute and cozy spot in Wrigleyville. My favorites are the crazy noodles, the crab wontons, and spring rolls! The soups are yummy and the salads fresh. It’s even pretty delicious to go!

Tasty food!

Grabbed lunch here today. It was delicious. I recommend the Wrigleyville: it's a noodle dish with chicken, beef, and shrimp. Slightly sweet and spicy.

Adorable Restaurant

Great food! The restaurant walls are packed full of collectibles like pez dispensers and nostalgic metal toys. Very eccentric and eclectic. Outdoor seating too!

A great little spot

Great ambiance, good service and good food. Used to be a little better, hope the management will keep everything in place. I would go back anytime. Wish I can see a little more special food (more authentic and less classic/ regular) that would make this restaurant A MUST to go to

Fun atmosphere and service, great food!

We stopped here on a busy Saturday night and were lucky enough to find a spot in their very tiny parking lot which holds 3-4 cars. If there isn't a spot available you will be hard pressed to find street parking on a busy night. We were wandering randomly through the neighborhood looking for someplace interesting to eat when this tiny restaurant caught my eye and I'm glad we stopped. The dining room is tiny and visually stimulating. Narrow shelves line the walls covered with tiny tin toys, there's an Elvis in the corner and a good luck letter from Mom on the wall. Very cozy. Our server had a sense of humor and was very attentive. We ordered mini egg rolls, Pad See Ewe, Pad Woon Sen, and Beef and Broccoli. It all arrived hot and was delicious. If you want wine or beer the restaurant is BYO.

Automatic 20% service charge, Really?? What a rip off.

By Redshirts889 |

The food was acceptable, service staff was unfriendly but the last straw was the 20% service charge and than they have a line to hope you add on additional gratuity. What a rip off place. We used to go there, but I WILL NEVER RETURN!

fun little place

By mirtle2 |

I would really give the place a 3+ rating. It is very cute with tons of hilarious memorabilia on the walls and you have to check out the restrooms. The food was fine. I think we were looking for more authentic Thai and this was not the place. However, the food was very good and everyone seemed to enjoy what they ordered. One person's meal came out about 10 minutes after the rest of the orders.

Friendliest service and great food

Stopped by Wrigley Field to take pictures and had parked right in front of this place. Decided to eat lunch there. Incredibly friendly staff, right away mentioned 30% off for first time diners. Fun, kitschy decor with Cubs bobbleheads, Elvis stuff, vintage ads, license plates, etc. Our family really enjoyed our food. Staff was super nice to our kids and they asked where we were from, talked sports with us a while. Would return again! ATM right inside as they only take cash.

This place was a fun atmosphere, with great food. The General Tso chicken was super tasty. Beware of the hot sauce on the table!! Super hot, but delish!!

It's a cozy little place

By JeremyK1988 |

I love Cozy because its a nice cozy place with cheap, though unspectacular, food. I haven't had anything that has ever wowed me but I have never had anything bad either. It's a good neighborhood spot for dine-in, take-out, or delivery.

Absolutely fun!

A little, very strange, eclectic Thai place. Hard to find but Worth the effort! The staff was great, efficient and quick. The food was served beautifully and was delicious! Some of the best noodles I have had. I laughed when I went to the restroom since I had to almost turn around to be able to close the door! Small. The whole place is small A cute note, they actually found a use for those Singer sewing machine stands that everyone has. The decor is very strange to say the least. Cute but strange

Original

If you're looking for an original and authentic place in Wrigleyville, this it your place. Every plate I've tried has ended up being delicious, and they have very good entrees or appetizers. Besides the food, what I like about this place is its decoration, full of baseball balls and small action figures that amuse you while you're there.

A Taste Sensation!

By Paddy L |

While in Wrigley, we made a stop at Cozy. We knew right away that this was a popular spot because it was jammed packed, and it isn't a very big place at all. They have a very friendly wait staff and lots of Cub memorabilia all over the place. The menu is extensive and what a variety! I had a delicious chicken dish in peanut sauce that was out of this world, and the baby egg roles were nummy too. If you are looking for vegetarian or vegan dishes, you will find plenty here. The atmosphere is lively and fun, and the pez dispensers that line the walls of the women's bathroom are adorable. The prices are more than reasonable, in fact, they are inexpensive compared to many other restaurants. What a delightful find! I can't wait to return again. I would say Cozy is probably the best Thai food you will find in the Lakeview area overall.
