Made reservations for dinner for 8 of us on a Friday night. We were seated immediately and ordered appetizers while waiting for the rest of the group. When our friends arrived, the appetizers were also served, everything went smoothly. Our waiter Alex was very knowledgeable about the menu, he recommended some appetizers, and all were just delicious. Service was great( they kept our glasses refilled, changed our plates as needed). We had the calamares, octopus and croquettes for appetizers. Then got our individual entree orders that we shared with each other. They make their own pasta in house. We orderd the Veal, as well as the Pasta with mushrooms. Everything was delicious. We also tried their Neapolitan style thin crust pizzas, so delicious. Our friends ordered Amaretto sour and the bar served really good cocktails. The place is nice and cozy, a bit on the noisy side, but that added to the charms of the place since it was more lively and casual that way. We also tried their tiramisu and ricotta cheesecake for dessert Such a satisfying meal. Just absolutely delicious.

We live close and try to go at least once a month. Never disappointed in food or wine. Great menu and the best pizza ever. We have tried bar seating, inside tables and the patio and love it all. Friendly staff. Go!!

Outstanding Sunday night dinner- great friendly staff and management. Quality food, great service and relaxed neighborhood clientele. Fun fun time for an early Sunday night dinner.

A colleague recommended Crispina, and I'm so glad she did! We've been back four times now in 2 months! It's so wonderfully cozy and welcoming inside and on the patio- there's just something so great in the air! From the smell of fresh Italian food when you first walk in, to the service of all their staff, the entire experience is great. The food is AMAZING. Authentic, fresh ingredients from start to finish. A wonderful meal every time! We recommend the "Home Run" pizza (the freshest, tastiest pizza I've ever tried) the Calamari, and the Tagliatelle with fresh sausage and peppers. The ambiance, food, and reasonable prices makes Crispina our favorite Italian spot in Atlanta!

This is Italian! Waiter was excellent- friendly (but not too friendly) knowledgeable about menu and wines. I spilled my drink- no drama- my fault- New one brought cleaned me up and back to normal in a jiffy! Bread fresh, salad crisp and lasagna HOT. If you like the real deal- you will love this place. BTW- customers seemed to know each other- must be a local favorite.

If someone has a problem with the food served here, they just have problems this place is great. We went to try this restaurant a couple of weeks ago, it was so good that we wanted to go back last week but couldn’t get a reservation & had to wait to return till this week. It was just a great. This is going to be our new regular restaurant in our rotation of places we love it go to eat. We haven’t tried the pizza yet, so hopefully that will be the next visit. We met the owner to complement his restaurant & he asked us if we had tried the pizza yet. We admitted we completely repeated our first order from our original trip there a couple weeks before because it was just that good. In fact I would say that it will feel like a risk to even try something else because we were so looking forward to getting what made us want to return. Anyway I highly recommend this hidden gem in our community. It was so delicious both visits.

This was an interesting pizzeria in the Kroger shopping center. The pizza was good for the price. The waitress Sonia was awesome. The tiramisu and the cheese cake were great desserts.

We had not been to Crispina in many years and was invietd to join aniother couple for dinner. The restaurnat reminds us of an old style Brooklyn, NY neighborhood Italian Restaurnat. The starters of soups and salads was very good. The veal cuutket over pasta was excellent as awas the raviolli and beef ragu over pasta. Very good service..

This was disappointing - there are many better Italian choices in Atlanta. Food and service were just ok. It was very crowded on Sat night so they obviously have a fan base but for us nothing stood out.

Decided to try a different pizza place than our normal go to pizza. I did take out but I noticed there was a nice vibe inside and also had a good number of outdoor seating as well. This pizza is good quality, beautiful looking and tasted very good. I'm not a huge fan of Neapolitan but if you are this is the pizza for you. I prefer a crispier crust. Neapolitan is more of a chewy crust. Definitely above average pizza for the Smyrna/Vinings area. Also there is only one size pizza which is pretty much a medium size.

I have eaten her three times now, so I feel I can genuinely review this restaurant. All three times have been a pleasure. The staff is friendly, not intrusive, knowledgeable, and polite. The prices are certainly reasonable. The owners are European, and the restaurant shows this influence. For appetizers, I can recommend the burrata, the salumi, and the calamari. For primi and pizza, I would definitely reorder the Trio, Che Cazza, Cafoni, and the Quatro Formaggi! Nothing seems too much trouble for this fine staff. I will continue to spend my money here, and hope their reputation doesn't make it difficult to get in the next time I want to dine here. If this establishment was closer in Atlanta, the lines would be miles long!

This restaurant is a neighborhood gem. Old school Italian, with absolutely great food. If you sit outside in the warmer days. You can definitely enjoy good food with a good bottle of wine.

Andriano Djula (formerly of Baronda Café) manages the restaurant with hands on greeting the patrons and working the floor; very friendly and customer oriented. Raffael Crispino is the chef and from Naples Italy. It is a cozy restaurant with a small bar and that offers several sections for dining. The menu offers a nice variety. The wine list is reasonable and offers a variety including Italian, California, and S American wine. We started with a Flatbread appetizer (not on the menu but made special) and it was very good. For the Primi we shared the Ravioli stuffed with spinach and brown butter sage sauce. The pasta was very firm and the sauce was sparse; just OK. For Secondi we had the whole Branzino fish special and it was very good! We also had a side of sauted spinach which was good. For the dolci we had the Tiramisu which was good. A tip for finding the restaurant, when you face the strip center where it is located (Kroger is the anchor store) it is on the far left side (around the corner).

Very good Italian food and good wines. We shared a Caesar Salad -- just the right amount of dressing -- and a Margherita pizza -- cheesy, good sauce, basil, thin but tasty crust. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

On a recommendation from a friend, I tried Crispina and was immediately in love the minute I saw the menu . I have not found anywhere in the Vinings area to get really good wood fired pizza with high quality fresh ingredients. The chef is from Naples Italy and the food is authentic. Homemade sauces, buffalo mozzarella, prosciutto and beautifully hand tossed thin crust. We also tried the lasagna which was amazing and finished in the wood fired oven to give it a slight Smokey finish. They have a nice selection of wines from Italy and a friendly wait staff. The location is not prime as it is in a strip shopping center off to the side. They have outside seating and the décor is classic. Prices are very reasonable so do yourself a favor and check it out.

Dined here on a few occasions with groups from work. Food was definitely satisfying, but not extraordinary. On balance would recommend it for a group or family, but not for a romantic night out or a special occasion.

Excellent service, food and ambiance. I had spaghetti with some of the best meatballs I’ve ever eaten. My wife had the tagliatelle with chicken, rich but not heavy, I could not stop stealing forkfuls. You know the food is good when the parent Crispina is in Rome.

Great Pasta and brick oven pizza! Pizza is similar to Antico. Small but good decor and friendly service.

When to Crispina Ristorante for lunch with five co-workers. Four out of five of us had pasta dishes. Three of the pasta dishes were too salty. My pasta was not only salty, but the past was not al dente. It was al undercooked. Too bad an Italian restaurant that cannot get past right.

My wife and I stumbled into Crispina's after a morning of shopping and WOW, we're sure glad we did! The pizza is amazingly fresh & tasty and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing.....very nice background music, not the loud, obnoxious music you hear in many places today. Bottom line, we are customers for life.

Crispina Ristorante & Pizzeria's location in a strip mall isn't the most visible. In fact, before this visit, I hadn't noticed it before. While small, this quaint Italian eatery does offer outdoor seating. Crispina's menu offers a nice variety of dishes that are influenced by the chef's hometown of Napes. I had a Regina Margherita Pizza, which arrived quite quick. With the exception of the crust being a little under cooked, it was a very good pizza. The prices were reasonable and the restaurant has a full bar. As far as service goes, after being seated and handed a menu, my server seemed to have forgotten about me and it was the owner/manager who took my order. A very friendly fellow, who provided some good info about the food. All in all this, this contemporary Italian restaurant is a pleasant spot to enjoy Neapolitan cuisine. I look forward to going back.

Good service, fresh Arugula salad and excellent Regina pizza cooked in a wood oven! Will definitely go back on a next trip to Vinings.

Just off the plane and straight to the restaurant. The place is beautifully decorated, the staff very friendly, the food delicious and plenty. Excellent wine list. Had pizza and raviolis, both were delicious. Must return.

We went with a group of 11, so things were a little loud. Service was somewhat confused, with one order completely ignored. The food was very good, however, with a varied menu. I would certainly go again, but with a smaller party.

We stopped by the new restaurant in the neighborhood and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious pizza and the casual atmosphere. We ordered Regina Margherita (with extra garlic). We dined outside and enjoyed a glass of chianti while our pizza was baking. The wait staff was attentive and helpful - especially when we mentioned this was our first visit. We'll be back to explore beyond pizza

I moved to Atlanta last year and came across Crispina walking home from work. The food is excellent and reasonably priced for quality. The ower, Adriano is always there and treats his guests like family. Authentic Italian food and now it has a full bar.

Excellent food, service environment....Charming place to dine all year round...Patio outside with a fireplace. Each dish is prepared by an excellent chef who comes to greet you...the owner manager...very personal...constant attention and the servier Ashley...knew and described the wines and food perfectly. A great place to dine in Smyrna!!!

It never fails. We always end up here when we want a great experience and an outstanding meal. Our waiter Joseph was awesome and took great care of us. Being a wood fired oven pizza owner I feel I know a little bit about Neapolitan style pizza. Their pizza is fantastic. We had the Ravello today. Great flavor combo. The Che Cazzo is awesome as well. Continued success to you.

Great food, great friends.... what a great combination. Service was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. Went before Don Pasquale performance about 5:15 and had plenty of time. Sat outside and was delightful. Suggest making reservations.

Food at Crispina is always tasty. There is indoor and outdoor eating - both are nice, when Hot-lanta weather cooperates. Atmosphere is what you want in an Italian restaurant: cozy, relaxed, clean, and comfortable. We are repeat customers. I recommend this restaurant.

Great place with very very good and attentive food and staff. Excellent pizza, home made pasta and entrees ... The ambiance is good but is more the homey feeling and food which is outstanding.... Love the octopus , the meat and true Napolitano pizza ...

This is a charming, well managed by Adriana, the owner local Italian bistro, with attention given to each guest who dines there. We go quite often and a new addition is the Piano Player, singing all romantic songs....The food...always steady...and the best server....Ben Colten.......|Ask for h im....hes wonderful and adds much to the evening. My wife and i were in Florence last summer. I was not looking forward to the food ,not being a pizza or pasta lover. However I was changed. The food was fantastic and I now love Italian pasta and Pizza and white wine. Upon returning I quickly settled back to my attitude toward American Italian food. UNTIL the other day when I had lunch at Crispina. I ordered pizza and it was if I had been transported to the market in Florence. The look and taste of the pizza was if It had been flown in from Florence. Thanks Crispina for doing such a great job of bringing true Italian pizza to Atlanta.

4 of us friends, sat out on the terrace....The Pizza was the best restaurant pizza in Atlanta The cheese was oozing out...the sausage tasted like home made and the entire crust was edible..

The pizza is wonderful - freshly done, fresh ingredients, served hot. The wedge salad is great. The anti-pasti board was perfect. The home-made pasta was obvious, and the spaghetti Bolonese was excellent. What a great find and at very reasonable prices.

Great food but service needs to be improved. No pepper on table, had to ask for fresh pepper but not offered during plate service- did not arrive until asked for. Had to ask and remind wait staff twice for bread. Asked for fresh Parmesan cheese for pasta- got small dish of cheese slivers- no idea if it was fresh and if or when it was shredded. Dangerous steep step outside down to front parking area- be careful.

Our GPS dropped us off about .4 of a mile south of this location and it required a little extra effort to find, but the pasta fagioli, wine and pizza were worth it. Just delicious! Service was laid back, friendly and attentive.

Just enjoyed our first meal here...am sure that we will have many more. Stopped in for pizza with friends. Wood-fired pizza is absolutely fabulous and absolutely Italian!

This charming local Italian restaurant is so successful because of several factors....the captain of the ship Adrianno, please forgive the spelling, just knows how to run this with such charm, such an excellent menu and a well trained staff of servers....the enironment is wonderful....and do try the brushetta.....unusually different than most and fantastic....i will always call this my local best spot.....thank you for being here....Adrienne Leeds

We picked this restaurant since Mindy and Melissa had dinner here before. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in that you have no question you are having Italian. They have a full service bar although we took our own wine selections. The appetizers looked great as we ordered calimari and it was wonderful. They had a Veal special that I had and it was really good. They offer all the favorite dishes. Tremendous evening.

Adreanna you know how to run this charming local atlanta restaurant with class, style very freiendly atmophere. always a job well done I can go there time after ttime and always bring a new friend who enjoys as much as I do and becomes a new customer. Adrienne

First time here. Found Crispina through the Open Table app. Located in a shopping center, BUT it has a great atmosphere. The outdoor and indoor dining was packed ! Good music and very good service. Our food was very good. Nothing fancy, just good food. Will definitely return.

We were visiting family in Atlanta and decided to go out for a nice Italian dinner. After doing a search on my phone for nearby restaurants. We decided on Crispina. We were not disappointed. It's a small restaurant at the end of a strip. The decor is homey, and you have a view of the kitchen. I highly recommend making reservations. The food: Monday was chicken parmagain night, so that's what I ordered and was not disappointed. My wife had the pasta e fagoill alla torrse. Which is a zuppe with cannellini beans, short pasta, cherry tomatoes, chopped Vidalia onions, and mussels. She enjoyed it very much. All in all, it's a great place to get your Italian food fix.

Slightly difficult to find in a strip shopping center, this small pizzeria does have a very good wood-fired pizza, friendly service, a reasonable wine selection, reasonably priced, and, overall, good food. On our visit, the pizza crust was a tad too thick and chewy, but had good flavor and a nice char. Desserts were very good as well. I would certainly recommend this place as a very good purveyor of pizza.

Excellent service, tasty food. They have very good veal cutlets, a large wine menu and a very popular place. You would be wise to make reservations on the weekend at night. They are not very large and a little bit cramped but the food makes it worthwhile.

This new Italian restaurant is a welcome change to the previous one in this spot. My friend and I went for the first time for dinner. The service is very good. It was very busy but we got a table without much of a wait. The bar area is a little small but I would consider eating at the bar if a table was not available. We had a caeser salad and a cappers salad both of which were very good. My friend ordered the lasagne and loved it. It was a sizable portion but not so huge you felt stuffed afterwards. I had the angel hair and meatballs with tomato sauce. The meatballs were some of the best I've ever had, the sauce was excellent but the pasta was a bit overcooked and a kind of "gummy." They have a good selection of wines (no liquor license). We had the tiramisu to dessert which was delicious -- very light and airy. I will return to this place and try the pizza which you can see from the brick oven in the open kitchen. It looked scrumptious. They don't take reservations except for larger parties so go early if you don't want to wait on a Saturday night.

Consistently good Italian food (from pizza to main dishes) in a family run business. Good service. Try the bruschetta - a real treat.

Tried this restaurant based on a friends recommendation and rating and was a bit disappointed in the flavor of the food as we were expecting more based on feedback. One dish was over salted and the others were just okay. Dessert was great though. On the plus side, this place is awesome for date night as the setting if excellent. The service is top notch and prices were less than expected. Maybe we just caught them on an off night. Will try again down the road.

I have visited this restaurant twice. The first visit was unmemorable; the second, a couple of days ago, put me off wanting to return. A bowl of minestrone was completely lacking in flavor, and a pizza with prosciutto and arugula, while flavorful enough, was served barely warm with a soggy crust. There seems to be no guiding hand trying to raise this place above mediocrity.

The best pasta I have ever had! Everything cooked perfectly. I got the Salmon and substituted potatoes with pasta. Parking is easy as well.

The ambiance is great and it is a wonderful addition to the restaurant choices in Vinings. It is a cozy and friendly place to enjoy pizza, pasta and salads. We have eaten here many times and it never disappoints. Prices are good and the owner is always gracious and accommodating as is the rest of the staff. Highly recommended

I looked them up on my "Open Table" app. The app show's they open at 4pm on a Sunday which is not true. They ARE, in fact, open for lunch. This was my first time. Went on a lunch date. I love eating out with men. I get to order lot's of food and sample. For our app, we ordered the margherita pizza. Nice crisp crust around the edges with folding capabilities in the center. You can taste the Italian tomato's, the authentic buffalo mozz and can see the fresh basil. Perfection. Then, we shared the spaghetti and meatballs. A must. Simple Italian goodness. The pasta was cooked exactly correct. Not too soft, not too firm. AND you can taste that the noodle is made right there in the kitchen. The Italian tomato's in the red sauce were sweet and tart. Perfect. The meatballs were tender, juicy and delicious. I felt like I was back in Italy. A must try!!

Came here after a marathon 3.5 hour Carmen at the Atlanta Opera and regretted it. We were seated in what I will call the "second room". Not sure if the A/C was on, but the doors were open out to the parking lot and the smell of exhaust fumes really added a lot to our dining experience. They were out of lasagna...a signature dish. Seriously? An Italian restaurant with no lasagna? So that kinda started things off on a negative note. It did not get better from here. There were four of us. Meals were not all brought out together. Two people got their meal. Then the next person. Then ten minutes or more later, the last person. Total pet peeve of mine. The only thing that bugs me more is when you finally say something to the server they sit there and tell you about the kitchen being all backed up. (a) It was not that busy. (b) not my problem. I'm there for a fun dining experience with friends not to hear about the management issues at this restaurant. The thing is...our server over-promised. When he told us he was out of lasagna and two of us expressed disappointment he said that we would love the food and have a great experience in spite of that. Not true. The food was not good. The pizza looked unappetizing and was so soggy the bottom was wet. They describe it quite differently on their menu. The pasta dishes were unremarkable. The manager did come over and gave us a comped dessert and took 15% off the bill. We did not ask for any comps but appreciated the gesture. It's too bad, such a well-located beautiful restaurant so badly managed.

The dinner was excellent, however it was made so my the wonderful Server Forrest. He went overboard for us......Very professional, easy to order with and he should be commended by Adrianna for having such an outstanding attentive server at Crispinas.. Adrienne Leeds

Very good Italian food. Tried it a while back and it had fantastic pizza. Unfortunately they didn't have a liquor license and wish they would have.

excellent local spot....dining outdoors, small attractive bar...fine food, great staff......go for a good Italian dinner

All the food was spectacular; the calamari was perfect, pastas were very good, the pizza was extraordinary. Service was nice and relatively fast.

so marvelous and when have the attention of Andriano you have the best of all...He is so efficient and runs this place perfectly...the food..the fun at the bar the Italian music and a choice of indoor and out door dining....I prefer outdoors....a bit noisy inside but lots of energy....Great food...fine wait staff....We are lucky to have this little gem in our neighborhood....Thank you Andriano for the complimentary dessert....DEVINE> Adrienne Leeds

The food is absolutely wonderful! Real Italian food by real Italian-Americans. Surprising to find this quality in a strip mall. Service was excellent!

Good Italian is hard to find in the Vinings/Smyrna area so if you live here perhaps it is worth visiting. In my opinion it is not worth traveling to if you live outside the area. My wife and I have been here 3 or 4 times, the latest time the other day with another couple. Each time we came away with the same impression. The service is good and the food is decent, but nothing more. It always seems too salty to our taste and on more than one occasion the pasta was overcooked. On this last visit my wife had salmon which she thought was bland. I will say our friends, who had pizza, enjoyed their meals. One last thing, the restaurant was very hot this last time. I get that this is Atlanta and the kitchen opens to the dining area, but it was uncomfortably warm. Turn up the air conditioning. Overall, I would say we don't dislike the place but never say to each other "let's go to Crispina's".

My husband and I average going to Crispina at least twice a week, sometimes more. We love this neighborhood jewel. The food is exceptional. We can highly recommend the grilled octopus antipasti, the fresh Pacific pan seared scallops with grilled polenta wedge, sautéed in a prosecco garlic butter sauce, the porterhouse pork chop with creamy parmiggiano polenta & ciao sauce (Montepulciano wine, aged balsamic vinegar, toasted walnuts, and fresh mint), the lasagna with Italian cheeses and Bolognese sauce (baked in a wood burning oven), and the tour of Crispina which is a trio of pastas (Calamarata, Pappardella Antonio, and Tagliatelle Alla Raffaele). I could go on and on, especially about the pizza. If you want a real Italian pizza, this is your place. Cooked in a brick oven, as they should be, you will think you are in Italy. All of the desserts are good but my favorites are the panna cotta and ricotta cheese cake. But it isn't just the food that makes this restaurant one of my favorites, it is also the people. Owners Raffaele Crispino and Adriano Ajula make you feel you are at home and Nick, the bartender, is amazing and I have to mention Danny, the pizza “guru” who makes the pizzas….. Everyone is amazing. Crispina, we are so glad you moved into our neighborhood.

Such wonderful food, great atmosphere, very hardworking, cordial owners always present and welcoming. Love the woodfired pizza!

I found this restaurant while looking for places in Vinings. The food was outstanding and our server Antonio was excellent. I would highly recommend trying this restaurant.

This restaurant, located in an unexpected area, is one of the best, real Italian restaurants. The atmosphere, quality of service, incredible food, and camaraderie of returning locals, makes it a true treasure.

A colleague recommended this after some online research. Luckily he booked, as the place was buzzing. We had to wait for the table to clear from an earlier setting, but were seated within 5 minutes. The complimentary bread and olive oil were excellent: bread a little bit chewy, oil fruity with some grassiness. I ordered Zeppole & Croquette for starter, which came with a passata based dipping sauce. The flavours were subtle, but worked well with the sauce. I had the Arrabiata wood-fired pizza for main, which displayed each ingredient’s flavour beautifully with a bit of heat, but balanced well. After subsisting on Café Americano for days, the Lavazza double espresso transported me to Italy (via Melbourne, Australia). Combined with a Sambucca to cleanse the palate, it rounded out a perfect meal. The waiter recommended a Nero d'Avola to complement our meals, well matched to our meals. Service was attentive without being intrusive. It may just be the joy of finding great coffee overwhelming my jet-lagged critical faculties, but I loved the meal and atmosphere.

Delightfully cozy and not overly noisy restaurant with some great hits, some good tries and a couple of misses. We dined with friends who were familiar with the menu. Eggplant Parmesan was a featured special that we choose to share as an appetizer. Excellent flavor and ever-so-slight crunch to the eggplant so it was fresh and delicious. Our server told us we were lucky to get it as it normally sells out quickly. Pasta e Fagioli alla Torrese was light on spices and even lighter on mussels. Veal Scallopini, ordered by three in our party was declared outstanding - generous portions of tender veal with excellent home made pasta. My choice, a featured stripped sea bass was underwhelming; the skin lacked crispness and the bed of black rice and spinach was bland offering little to compliment the fish. Service was almost over-attentive when we arrived and a little hard-to-find at the end of the meal. Wine selection very good. Next time we look forward to exploring some of their more interesting wood-fire pizzas.

Once you find Crispina Ristorante, it's a little hidden in a strip mall, it's worth it... Very pleasant staff and I sat outside, which was nice and didn't feel like a strip mall. Very comfortable atmosphere. I had the grilled octopus salad, sautéed spinach and a glass of Zenato Grigio and all of it was great and didn't break the bank :)

Great date place. Everyone is warm an attentive. Brick oven , just the right touch to this authentic cuisine. All food is delicious and well served. My favorite Italian restaurant.

From the fresh food, to the quaint dining room and the impeccable service (thank you Christina!) this 'first experience' at this hidden gem was nothing short of spectacular! With an incredible wine list, specialty drinks and outstanding food selections we will, no doubt, be back here on our next trip to Atlanta!

Wow, nice discovery near Suntrust Park where they installed an Italian Pizza oven that makes the real deal. Thin crust, crispy edges with classic Italian ingredients. We liked it a lot! Italian winelist was not very impressive but not very cheap. Friendly staff, a nice crowd and room to sit outside.

Definitely one the best restaurants in the vinings/Smyrna area. The Napolian style pizzas are thin crusted and they were just perfect. 10/10

We had friends in town staying in Buckhead; we live in Dallas, Ga. so this looked like a great place to meet and enjoy dinner. It did not disappoint! Antonio was a very attentive server. We had the lobster ravioli special: gnocchi; lasagna and Caesar dinner salad. The tiramisu was large enough for 3 of us to share. Just a delightful meal and experience. Not so loud where we couldn’t have good conversation and there were large parties on either side of us. Highly recommend.

Love the Margherita pizza. Thin crust and delicious! Great wines to go with it. Always friendly service

This a a brand new restaurant that serves absolutely correct and authentic Neapolitan pizza from a wood-fired oven. Everything we had was great. The gigantic scallops on fried polenta (actually a Venetian dish) were fabulous according to two of our group. My pork chop in a red wine sauce served with polenta was superb. The fourth member of our group loved his homemade pappardelle with a sausage sauce. All in all, a great restaurant at a very reasonable price. And the decor is very much rustic Italian. A great find!

My boyfriend and I were in Atlanta for our anniversary and wanted Italian. This place was amazing!!! Taylor was our server and he was so nice and attentive. We made reservation so no wait time and food came out quick! Beautiful ambiance and every person we met was so nice. Food was DELICIOUS, I had the fettuccine and my boyfriend had the pizza.

Crispina has a great authentic Italian menu. The pasta dishes are fantastic and the individual pizzas are delicious. They make authentic Italian food, and it shows! The servers are attentive and friendly, and they definitely know their stuff. It can get busy because the food is so good, but I've never had a bad wait to get a table or food.

A new find for us. Excellent grilled octopus appetizer. We had the Sophia Loren pizza - amazing! Their pizza oven could not crank out the pizzas fast enough. I had the calamarata (sp) pasta dinner. Excellent homemade pasta. She had the lamb and thoroughly enjoyed. We will be back!

I highly recommend trying the bruschetta appetizer, pizza and the lasagna (even though I believe that anything I would have selected would have been impressive). They make all their pasta and sausage in-house, the owner came to the table and spoke with us, the servers were excited and knowledgeable about the menu. Do yourself, and your palette, a favor -- try this place!

One of our favorite places in our neighborhood. We always know we re going to get good, friendly service and very good food. Last night we shared a simple meal -- a bottle of wine, a Caesar salad, and a pizza (way better than your average pizza). A delicious relaxed meal.

Right off Cobb parkway. Close to the Cobb Energy Center. I had the veal Adriano. I ate every morsel. It was delish ! I’m going back - I need to try the octopus. Attentive staff. Friendly. I love the atmosphere. Kinda like being in Italy. OH - and their pasta is made fresh in house - the bread is A.Mazing !

This is a great restaurant. The staff is awesome and the food is excellent. Make a reservation and check it out for yourself.

Unexpected find for Mother's Day brunch - not fully booked since they're not usually open Sunday lunchtime. Very attentive service from Adam. We shared the meat & cheese tray and had salads with added meat. All was very fresh, well cooked (as applicable) and delicious. Recommended!

Fantastic food !!!! Great service ! Everything we ordered to on point .. fresh ! Flavorful and real authentic .... actually even better the Italian food in Italy ! When in the Vinings area try it out ! You won't regret it !!!!

Decided at the last minute to try something new this trip. Based on the reviews on TA Crispina seemed like a good choice. Happy to say it did not disappoint. The veal and lasagna were both well prepared and tasty. Portions were more then ample to fill and service was knowledgeable and friendly. We will be back.

Horrible customer service!! I need to start by saying that we have been regulars at Crispina four nearly 4 years dining there two to three times per month. We have just experienced one of the worst customer experiences I have ever seen at any restaurant ever! We were having an issue placing our order because they were out of one of the items that we wanted and instead of taking care of us, the totally unprofessional manager decided it would be better to sit there and argue with us about why he could not take care of us as customers. I was so taken back and furious with the way that I was treated by this manager, that our party of four just walked out and left. To make things worse he followed us out into the parking lot making an entire scene about why he was not able to take care of us. This was absolutely a horrible way to treat regular customers!! We will never set foot in your restaurant again and recommend others take the same advice. Aside from the horrible way that we were treated, let’s talk about the food quality declining over the past few years. The grilled octopus which used to be fabulous is now terrible and I could not even order it again. Also the veal adrianna which is their signature dish is getting very tired and not made with the same care as it was initially. This really affects the quality of the dish. The chicken cacciatore it’s so tasteless it is almost not even edible. I would never even order that again. Do yourself a favor and find a restaurant where they actually respect their customers. You can read this review on TripAdvisor, open table, and Google business.

From accommodating staff to delicious food; it's the perfect spot for birthday parties! The manager made the night be a success. He helped set up for more people than expected with a smile! Even the chef got involved! Everyone left happy!

Fabulous food! Best grilled octopus appetizer in town. Homemade pasta dishes and wood oven thin crust pizzas that rival anything eaten in Italy. The Mid week only served eggplant parmesan is to die for. Love the service and personal attention given to any client by the owners who are always present. A rare gem amid chains up and down Cobb Pkwy.

A friend recommended the eggplant parmigiana to us but told us that it was only served on Wednesday. We were in town so we thought that we would give it a try. Well it was ok. Not great but not bad. We had the capprese salad first which was good with a very nice Chianti. Service was good and the restaurant was busy.

We had a nice evening here. The food was wonderful, good wine selection and the service was top notch. The atmosphere is cozy.

Ok. I love to eat at different restaurants when I travel for business... We ate here 3 out of 5 nights! That's pretty good odds. I don't frequent pasta..(many times it's just wasted calories) this is not the case. WELL SPENT CALORIES. All the pasta dishes were out of the barn flavorwise and creative wise. Of course, hand made. There. On site. Handmade pasta seems to be a buzz word these days, and frankly, it tastes the same. Not here. You can taste the difference. But the way, their desserts are classic, and also worth the calories. Panna cotta, and a REAL tiramisu. Not some snazzy chef's not so great idea what a tiramisu should be. It's classic and gave me that OMG feeling that I first had when I tasted the stuff about 2 years before the world had heard of it. ( it's fun to have chef friends!) Caution on locating.... It's BEHIND the Kroger, next to the liquor store. If you find the Kroger, you can find this restaurant. Also, this used to be a not so memorable Italian place. Please be advised... Crispina is a whole new deal!!!

Small, well decorated, intimate, clean and it wasn't busy. Went for lunch. Friendly staff. Chose the panini with soup. Nice portion size. Lovely background music. Hot bread arrived in basket after we were seated. First visit thete, will definitely return, would like to try the dinner menu.

If you are seeking authentic Italian food in Atlanta, look no further. Italian recipes straight from Italy. Food is fresh and absolutely delicious! Comfortable atmosphere and hospitable service. You won't be disappointed. I wanted to lick my plate when I was finished. I will be back sooner than later.

Tonight was our first visit to Crispina and we will definitely be back and soon. We could not decide which dish was our favorite as all were delightful. Arugula Salad, Sophia Loren Pizza, Salmon with sautéed spinach and roasted red potatoes with lemon vinaigrette, a pasta dish with Italian sausage and rapini and Tiramisu. One of the best meals we've had a while. Our waiter, Ben, was excellent and very personable. Can't wait to go back.

Party of 14-16. Several had been here before with fair results. Corporate made reservations and told them the party size. Several of us had a beer or drink from the bar as we seated ourselves after asking 3 times and literally being pointed at a table in back dining room. One gal ordered 5-6 appetizers and told the ONE waitress to spread them along the table when they came out. She sat all of them in one pile and totally blew us off when asked to spread them out. Time for more drinks, they claimed to be out of dang near everything that anyone wanted. Finally took our dinner orders. Ask again for more drinks, “what do you have”? I don’t know. One of our guys got up and went to the bar to see. They had a lot more than said waitress was allowing. He literally brought back a tray of beer and passed it out, went back and got wine and mixed drinks. So the food starts coming out……..2-3 at a time with several minutes between. I had “brick oven lasagna”. They needed more wood in the oven, center was cool. Last two people at the table are still waiting a good 20 minutes after the first plates. Same guy got up and went to the management, our guy came back with last two plates. Would I go back? Heck no, go to the YardHouse on Battery, excellent service, great variety of food that was all great and plenty of cold drinks. And one super waitress that kept your glass or bottle full all night without asking what you were drinking and there were 25 of us that nigh.

Went there with two colleagues. Monday they give 50% discount on wine below 50$ (if I recall it right). Had excellent rose wine recommended by the waiter. The ravioli and pizza enjoyed by my colleagues were excellent they said. My salmon was dry and I sent it back but had a new within short time. Had dessert on the house. Good place to go for Italian food, especially if you are going for pizza

Delicious pizza, tasty and Italian style. Small and cozy restaurant. Vine was expensive, but the pizza was perfect.

Had a family dinner there cuz we understood that it's new established. We where sitting at the small room and it seems that the restaurant kitchen is divided for 2, kitchen stuff kept passing by with ingredients- not so good for dinner experience!!! The food was ok. The caprese salad was not executed right, it came out on a small rectangle plate, tawer of very big and thick tomatoes (3 inches thick ) the whole plate was drizzled with balsamic glaze that made the job even harder. I did asked the server that the glaze will b at the side before I placed the order! The ravioli was home made but it was served on small rectangle plate that made the eating experience difficult. The Lasagna was tasty but to much sauce overcame the rest of the ingredients...so sad. For dessert the had only one flavor of ice cream - vanilla. To bad for that summer season selection. Everyone knows that the Italian kitchen very proud of his sorbet and ice cream.

Always a delight...the outdoor seating was spaced extremely well....heaters and rain shields and the service offered by Antonio made the evening very delightful..

Already hard to get a table here, and not that many seem to know of this gem. Everything we had was good, but have to rave on their pizza from the wood burning oven. Amazing. And while you ar eating you see people driving up for take-out pizzas. A definite must!

I have been to this restaurant many times and always thought it was mediocre. I went there this week and had an awful experience. I ordered a beeaded veal and pasta dish. I could not eat it. The veal was almost non existent. It was basically fried breadcrumbs that tasted like sawdust. I have had pounded veal in many Italian restaurants in the past that were delicious. I think this restaurant is ripping you off as they is almost no meat in this dish. We will not be going back here again but instead will go to Mezzaluna or Maggiano's.

We love eating at Crispina’s restaurant and pizzeria the food is great the size of the restaurant is perfect we took a neighbor with us and he really enjoyed it as well. We get the pizza as our appetizer or we order another meal and share the two of them it’s perfect! The pizza is great! The meals that we’ve ordered have always been great! The wine was delicious as well . Antonio is a fabulous waiter., friendly & attentive & efficient We honestly had to turn our phones off so that our daughter would not track us because she would get upset with us if we went without her because she loves this place just as much as we do. We order the Caesar salad , Veal Andriano which is lightly breaded & pan fried with a light white wine sauce & capers with a side of pasta spaghetti -Aglio Olio . & we love the Regina Margherita with pepperoni , it is delicious ! If someone had a complaint about this restaurant they could never be happy, this is just as the food is prepared in Tuscany. This isn’t Olive Garden. If you like OG food then go there. This is real Italian food, owned by Italians good food prepared simply & well. This is our new favorite local place. I want to try other dishes but by the time we get there we usually order our favorites.

The ambiance reminded us of being in Italy. The service was fantastic. The food on a scale of 1-10 against authentic Italian meal, I’d give it a 6.5. Somewhat disappointed. The lasagna was ok. The veal daisy only had 2 artichokes. We will try it again

We were very late getting to this restaurant as most places by 10:30pm are closing their kitchen. I called ahead to see if the kitchen was still open and the owner was friendly and encouraged us to come in. Despite it being almost 11pm when we arrived, the wait staff was very friendly and the food was fantastic! Thank you Crispina!

We had a party of 9 this past weekend and were trying to find a decent Italian Restaurant in the area. By accident, we found Crispina Ristorante thru Google. What a charming, beautiful restaurant. Matthew was our server and treated our family extreamly well. The food was great…everyone loved their entrée which varied from home made personal pizza to traditional italian items. The restaurant was intimate and beautiful. The service was wonderful as was the food. I wish we lived closer as I am sure we would become regulars! This was a great little find for out-of-towners!! You won’t be dissapointed!

One of the Best pizza's I've ever had - even compared to the ones I had in Italy - period ! On a trip from vold Denmark, we hungered for some real italian good and found this gem. Started with Zeppole E Panzarotti - really lovely and the sauce matched perfect. Then came the pizzas: the Home Run - a must if you love meat on your pizza. And the Che Cazzo with lots of cheese and Fresh Buffalo Mozzarella topped off with Prosciutto Crudo, Arugula and shaved Parmiggiano - magic ! All this topped of with splendid service all over - thanks guys for a superior metal/evening. The place is a bit hard to locate, but please do yourself a favour and don't miss it.

We live in ATL on other side of town. Stopped in the area heading home and found this wonderful restaurant. Ate at the bar since the place was packed. Had a pizza and calzone but the pasta looked delicious. New friends we met at the bar are regulars and gave me a sample of the yummy tiramisu. Staff were friendly and the owner was apologetic because they were so busy. Heard they opened a second location recently. Please bring one of these to Gwinnett and tell Linda and Catherine we said hi!

Decided to give this restaurant a try as we were in the area. I must say, super impressive experience. The nice thing about this restaurant is that it is Italian rather than Italian American. Started the evening with a great bottle of Sicilian wine as well as calamari. Had the woodfired pizza and the squid ink seafood pasta. I rarely pay $30 for an entrée however this was the best I’ve had, and that is with experiencing it in Italy as well. Scallops were cooked perfectly and the pasta was fantastic. You can tell they really take care of their customers with quality food. Portions are very good as well. They’ve earned my business and I will be back. It would seem that reservations are required on a Friday or Saturday evening however we were able to get in.

I have had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant a few times by myself. Most recently I have been there for both, lunch and dinner on different days of the week. The ambiance is cozy and rustic. Every time I have been there they’ve had Italian music playing in the background, which I love because it adds to the authenticity of the Italian dining experience. I love the way they make the Pulpo Grotta Blue - it is exquisite - a must have! Some of my other favorite menu selections are the Pasta e Fagioli alla Torrese soup, the Insalata Caprese and the Regina Margherita pizza. I took my teenage daughter for dinner there yesterday and she loved the Ravioli Siena. She’s a foodie and a pretty good food critic herself. She said the sauce was light and not heavy and that the flavors were delicious without overpowering. I agreed. I had the Bistecca Florentina and the steak was cooked to perfection; the sautéed spinach was delicious. I’m not a fan of grits at all (creamed polenta) and that was part of the dish, but other than that the food was great. I usually order a glass of Valpolicella Ripasso wine which is so good. The dessert we had, Tiramisu, was just okay. Our server Antonio was excellent! Overall, a great place! I’m looking forward to my next visit!

We were at Crispina last Friday night, May 3, 2019. We go to Crispina because it is in our neighborhood, and we like the food and the service. Our only disappointment is the attitude of the owner. We walked right by him going to our table. He was looking at his cellphone and never looked up. If you own a restaurant the least you can do is speak to your patrons. It is rude and makes you not want to return. He needs a lesson in manners.

Had a wonderful lunch here. We stayed quite late but were not run out - enjoyed talking to the owner because I am travelling to Naples/Capri soon. Loved talking to a 'local' and enjoying their enthusiasm of their homeland. The food and wine were spectacular.. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. Small, intimate feel. Service was excellent as was the wine. However, I was a little disappointment in my food selection. To be one of the most popular items on the menu, I think the Ravioli was lacking. It seemed that maybe it was 'heated up' instead of fresh. The selections that my 2 friends made were excellent choices though, very tasty. Dessert and coffee ended the night on a high note. I would go back to try it again.

Was really in the mood for Neapolitan pizza last Sunday afternoon. Decided to go back to Crispina’s as we’ve been there several times. They certainly did not disappoint. Burrata for an appetizer, pizzas for the main course, wine and dessert. Killer ricotta cheesecake. They even made me a macchiato! Continued success!

We just moved to the area and they were kind enough to send us a free pizza coupon. The place is always packed when we drive by so we decided to give it a shot. We each got our own pizza, they’re made in a wood burning oven and quite tasty. Their mozzarella cheese is fantastic and my wife loved the fresh tomatoes on hers. I got the homerun which is basically all meet and delicious. Would be back again for sure.

Nice little Italian place down the hill from Vinings and south of Cobb Galleria. have been there for lunch several times. they have a nice soup and salad combo for a light lunch. all three soups are very good but I especially like the lentil soup. or if you want more you can order a pasta entree that comes with one of the soups. pasta with meatballs or sausage are good options. i have not tried the pizza but they look very good. good value for lunch.

Great to have a wonderful pizza and Italian restaurant in this area. The pizza is the best in this area, a notch below Antico Pizza and Verasano, but so good that it is not worth traveling to those places in town

Crispina has become one of our go-to's in the neighborhood. The pizzas are very good. On Wednesday night they have a special: Eggplant Parmigiana. It's really wonderful. Be nice to the staff; they are great. This is an earnest restaurant serving good food to the community, but it's worth a drive too.

Had another great meal this past weekend. Third time visiting this restaurant and the quality has been very consistent. Enjoyed calamari, arrabiata pizza and a Panini sandwich. Along with a glass of wine it was a great lunch. Our waiter Scott was awesome and took great care of us. Whenever in this area, we will be back.

It was a rainy Saturday night and we needed some comfort food. Our server took good care of us and was knowledgeable in the wine department. He assured us how fresh all the ingredients are. Both of us had the homemade sausage and kale pasta and it was delicious. Normally, large pasta is so heavy but it was light ; consequently, the overall meal was outstanding. The setting was very pleasant and not too noisy. We will return, for sure.

Fabulous in every way from the appetizers to the entrees to the service. Everything we have ever eaten was delicious. My favorite is the pasta with the cream sauce and adding the chicken or salmon. My husband loves the pizza.

Three of us went there for a late lunch. We had a lovely bottle of wine, fried calamari, salads and three entrees. Then a great tiramisu. Perfect lunch.

We came here for a business dinner after a workout. The staff were brilliant, and the food was stunning. I had the scallops, very tasty. Will definitely eat here again when next in Atlanta

Certainly in a nice part of town, though in a strip shopping center, the decor is nice and service was good. While wood-fired, and napoletano style, the pizza crust was too doughy (slightly under-cooked). The mortadella was good, but overall only an "average". The lasagna was good, with fresh pasta sheets, but (to me) with too much oregano (and to my wife, lacking besciamella). Wine selection was good and with a nice price spread. Cocktails (Negroni) were average in flavor. Total bill (one Negroni, one red wine ($40), lasagna and pizza) was a reasonable $105 with tax and tip. A reasonable choice if in the area.

Just opened 5 mos. ago. The atmosphere is warm and cozy even without the white tablecloths. One of the few places in town where you can actually hear the person speaking to you on the other side of the table! There were four of us and we all had a variety from the menu. Pasta Fagioli with clams was amazing, as was the minestrone and lentil soups. They came in ginormous bowls so we probably didn't need to complement the soups, salads and margherita pizza with entrees. Pizza was extra thin w/crispy crust and delicious. Pork chop, salmon and spaghetti with sausage were enjoyed by all. They only serve wine and beer, no mixed drinks but the wine list although not extensive, had plenty to choose from. Definitely worth repeating.
Cramped Interior good food
On a busy Saturday night this restaurant was filled for early seating and that made a rear corner table just right as we could hear and see without other diners right on top of us. The bustle of the adjacent kitchen was a distraction calmed by an excellent Raeburn Chardonnay, toasted oak and hints of pear. My wife chose the spaghetti Polpe and declared the veal based meat balls excellent on a bed of spaghetti with plenty of sauce and cheese. I feasted on grilled salmon without excess spice atop a bed of spinach. Our starter was a wedge salad with homemade Gorgonzola dressing with bacon bits and green onions. All hot dishes came to the table at high temperature and the salad and wine were perfectly chilled.
