Amazing food and great beer. The spicy chicken was amazing! The side salad was great. My husband had the burger and fries. He said one of the best burgers he has had.

The beer is true to style and the service was friendly and fun. It was a great place to take a break from shopping and sightseeing. Good food and a pint of Kolsch got me revived and ready for touristing!

Great place. Dicent collection of strong flavored beers. Generally nice service. I can't say i have a negative comment.

Five of us on Chicago for just one evening. All craft beer fans from New Zealand. Busy but no wait for a table on a Friday night. Quick and easy service. A flight of diverse and interesting beers each. Didn't try the food, having just had Pizzeria Uno deep dish. Souvenir t shirt. Good fun.

The ambience is just what we wanted in a brewery- fun but not crazy. You could meet friends, bring a date, or even go solo and enjoy yourself. Grace was an excellent server. She was very familiar with the menu & made delicious recommendations. Pretzel - perfectly soft & salty. The mustard & cheeses were delicious. Cauliflower & curds - what a great combination! Beer battered, spicy, & cheesy. Pizza - this was a perfect complement to the brewery’s flagship Hazy IPA (neon werewolf) We didn’t love the Lively Monk but it was unique & I think it is probably a more polarizing option-you either love it or you don’t. Cherry + beer wasn’t our thing but maybe it’s yours. There were a couple N/A options which is great but would love to see more. We tried all the beers and all of them were worth drinking but the werewolf was our favorite. Highly recommend!

Started raining so we headed here to grab a flight. Really nice staff. Good selection of beer. Awesome swag and fun vibes right off Michigan Ave.

My last night in Chicago and I was all alone. I did not want to go to a fancy restaurant alone and the weather was threatening to downpour any moment so I ducked into Crushed By Giants Brewing Company. I was greeted warmly, seated quickly and it was a pleasant place to be. nice decor, good sound levels (not too loud) and the place was busy. Nevertheless, the service was attentive and good and the food and beer came quickly. I had small portions (I liked that they had smaller portions that allow you to sample more things without over-drinking but they also had a flight of all the beers they brewed, if you desired that). I really liked the Rice Lager and the Pastry Stout. I had a black bean burger and it was good but not great. Overall, I got exactly what I expected...good food, great beer and a nice atmosphere. Worth a visit.

rushed by Giants is a brewery and kitchen in Streeterville. Ground floor access is at the corner of N. Rush St. and E. Ohio St. where you see the image of the oversized monster leading you upstairs. Opening hours are 12pm to 9pm (weekdays) and 12pm to 10pm (weekends). They have a fairly large indoor seating area with nicely spaced tables as well as a bar with three sides of stool seating. There is a fairly extensive food menu available as well as a range of Crushed By Giants draught beers, wines and cocktails. During our visit, we had some fries which were fine along with their Troll Toll, a dry Belgian style Triple with a bit of a sweet finish. This was a good beer, one we'd gladly come back to have again. Enjoyed the environs and friendly service on the day as well.

"Hidden" in same building as an AMC Theatre. LOT of fun and, while small, a great list of beer options (amazing guest cider as well). So glad we stopped in!!

Fantastic brewery in the heart of the Magnificent Mile. Great place to take a break from the crowds and have some fresh craft beer and very great food

We ate here and enjoyed our experience. My burger was excellent. They need to work on the little details. Our appetizer came out AFTER our meals, for example. And someone tried to drop off a beer we hadn’t ordered.

Visited as I was passing and I am glad I did! nice beer and people in an unassuming location. Worth popping in to. Do not be phased by heading up towards the cinema, that is not your destination

It's a shame a prime location like this houses such a.....lame "brewery". Beer is unremarkable, space is sterile and not inviting. Bar is not comfortable. One and done with this place.

Great beers! Fun art work and fabulous descriptions! Staff is super friendly and obviously passionate about their brews.

We have been wanting to have a Beer at this relatively new brewery. Great location for locals and tourists. We went in at 4:30 and there were a fair number of people in the Bar Area. There were 2 servers who could not have wanted to be there. The bar tender said he did not know about the beer and that we could download the list of beers. We have visited many microbreweries from CA to Chicago to NC and we learn so much about the Brewery and their beer. We got up and left and came back to our condo and we are enjoying a beer from Off Color Brewery, one of Chicago's great breweries. Crushed by Giants is not on that list.

We chose Crushed by Giants for our last night in downtown Chicago with myself, husband, and three teens 18, 17, and 16 based on the casual atmosphere, street view, and hopes for a decent IPA. I called ahead and was told they do not accept reservations but currently had an open table. We were less than a 10 minute walk so headed out immediately. It was raining and the teens ran ahead to grab a table. When my husband and I arrived a few minutes later, the teens were seated at a table with a view of the bar, a brick wall, and the movie theater. As we had not yet ordered, my husband spoke with the hostess and requested a table in the main dining area as we were happy to wait, an expectation of most restaurants on a Saturday night. The hostess responded with, "well it's going to be awhile", "no open tables anytime soon", and "teenagers can't wait at the bar". In the meantime we witnessed several groups being seated in the main dining area, despite our added request that we would happily squeeze into a small table, we were just looking for a view. This could not have been more of an inconvenience for the staff and I was extra disappointed when I paid the $200 bill for a family of 5 with subpar burgers, fries, 2 beers (that did not knock my socks off), view of a brick wall, and staff blatantly annoyed with the thought of accommodating even a small request from a guest. Sadly, I was hoping to find a gem and relaxing dinner after a long day of exploring the city, but would not recommend.

A couple of friends and I had some beer and ale and also had dinner (burgers, salads). Everything was good and fairly priced. You can see the brewing tanks and ask questions from a well-informed (mostly) wait staff.

I had the flight and all very good beers, even the cherry one that I had been a little concerned about. The flight is a great way to try all the tap. Also ate here, the pretzel and sauces were very good. The chicken sandwich was quite acceptable, and here for the beer not the food anyway. Service with a smile. Easy vibe to the place.

I recently visited Crushed by Giants Brewery and had an excellent experience. Despite being a smaller establishment, this brewery packs a punch with its offerings. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed night out. The decor is industrial-chic, with exposed brick walls and stylish lighting that creates a warm and modern ambiance. They offer a beer lovers flight of six beers, a great way to sample their diverse range of brews. We sampled: Neon Werewolf DDH IPA Lakeshore Drive Light Lager Goliath's Bane Hazy IPA Tropical Tango Summer Ale Birds of Prey American Pilsner Fool Formula Pale Ale Of the 6 we liked Goliath's Bane the best! We ordered the Mac and Cheese and added chicken, which was absolutely fantastic for a late-night snack. The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on. The menu offers a great variety of options that pair perfectly with their beers. The staff at Crushed by Giants Brewery are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. They offered great recommendations and were happy to provide samples to help us choose our beers. Crushed by Giants Brewery is a must-visit for anyone in the Michigan Ave. area.

This place is dope and there aren’t many breweries in downtown Chicago, which is precisely why we checked it out. Good selection of suds with various styles. Pretzel was super big, super hot and you get a trio of dipping options that are all good. Beer was 👌 Tip: It’s actually on the second floor and while there is signage outside, at street level, the doors have AMC Theaters all over them. Go on in and up the stairs to get to the brew!

I had dinner here with a coworker while in Chicago for a work trip. This was a nice urban brewery. The beer is very IPA focused but I tired 2 and they were very good. I had the poutine and the CGburger which was excellent. Prices were good for downtown Chicago. The waitstaff were outstanding. Great place if you are looking for good beer and pub food.

Nice bar with beer brewed on site - six different brews on tap when we visited. Try the flight of all six - a good introduction! Also does excellent burgers!

Came here to try the beers and ended up getting lunch. The beers were excellent and the nachos and sandwiches were also tasty. Great service, definitely worth a visit

Popped in here for a couple of beers. always appeared to be busy. Was told kitchen closed when I arrive around 8:00 pm on a Tuesday. Was only after some beers. Bar tender friendly and beers good. Was surprised whn 'last call' was given at 8:30 and everyone had to be out by 9:00!

I saw the brewery while waiting for my bus to a convention. Stopped in later that night and discovered Mondays were "Barman's Banquet". A CBG burger, pint of brew, and a shot of bourbon for $20.

Nice brewing company with interesting beers on draft. Service quick and professional. And not to expensive for what is on offer. Relaxed atmosphere and a food menu with Poutine on in as well.

This is a fantastic bar/ brewery with a great atmosphere and really delicious beers. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly making sure you are never without a drink. We were only in Chicago for 4 days but we loved it so much we visited twice. Food is very tasty too. I would definitely recommend a visit here either for a casual meal or just a drink.

Not a huge offering of beers, but covers the bases and some interesting ones. Bar is modern and the service was excellent. Food was really tasty and good portions. Can recommend the fiery chicken sandwich.

My boyfriend and I were staying in this neighborhood for an appointment at Northwestern hospital. We are avid craft beer enthusiasts and love to visit different breweries. Chicago traffic stresses me out so we normally try to walk or Uber when we're visiting. There aren't many breweries in this particular area, so we were happy to find Crushed by Giants. It isn't hard to find but it is in the same building (2nd floor) of an AMC Theater. This is actually our 2nd visit here. It had been raining and was hot and humid out and we had already been walking around quite a bit, so we were happy to find ourselves here right when they opened at noon. There were a few groups of people arriving right at opening time including a family with children. We had a late breakfast, so we were really just looking for a beer and snack. We ordered the pretzel to share, and it came with 3 different dipping sauces. The honey mustard was good, the beer cheese was amazing, and the Obatzda (german cheese dip served cold) was delicious. The pretzel was also the perfect size for 2 people to snack on. We each had a beer (IPA and Summer Ale) and they were very refreshing. I do wish they had a bigger variety of their own beers as they really are fantastic. Service was fantastic and very friendly. We enjoyed our time here and are glad to have a brewery in this area! We will be back again next time we are at Northwestern!

Though I wish I had, I couldn't resist the poutine when I stopped in for a flight and a bite before dinner. The dish has promise—it includes crispy fries and excellent curds, but the gravy falls short. Although it had a gravy color, it was extremely watery and tasteless. It turned the meal soggy and unappealing. Despite being pricey ($22), the beer flights were enjoyable and had lots of options to explore.

Found this place not too far from my hotel, and glad I did. The CBG burger is outstanding, as was their Caught in the Rain Summer Porter. Don’t be dissuaded by the fact it happens to be in the same building as an AMC theater. It is a separate entity. Highly recommend.

Nice new space on the second floor with a view of the bustling street below. Good selection of beers, with quality ingredients and full flavor. Appetizers were great, too.

After walking for a few hours through hot & humid Chicago - this was the best place to stop. Daniel, the bartender was bright, informative and very knowledgable of the beers on tap. Located in the same building as the AMC movie theater - this bew pub has a great atmosphere.

The food was delicious. Beer was good and served in a fun glass that was available for purchase. We had burgers, fries and nachos. They were all delicious.

We came in here on our first night, quite jet lagged. We had burgers, which were tasty and the selection of beer was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and willing to recommend their favourite beers too.
Lunch at the Brewery
Love the atmosphere in this brewery! Music is on point... classic rock . Beers were refreshing and food hit the spot! Service was good.
