Hotel Circle Oasis

By DGWatters |

No longer many food options in the Hotel Circle area. We were looking for a late afternoon snack and decided to split a club sandwich (due to “California” pricing) at this place listed here. It came piled high with deliciously fresh meats. It did not disappoint!

Good food, good service.

By Arlene S |

We stopped for breakfast. The server was friendly and very helpful with our special dietary needs. The food was delicious and wholesome. I am allergic to MSG and had no reaction to the food. My husband cannot have dairy and the waitress made sure his food did not contain any.

Good Place for Quick Eats

By Michael H |

A good menu with many varieties on the menu but it was crowded during Comic Con and service was a bit slow

Excellent place to eat

By Mark Thompson |

Amazing food and excellent staff. The old fashioned cream soda drinks are very good. Try the pulled pork sandwich.

Great breakfast food

By Lolab |

Great tasty food and upbeat clean atmosphere with nice friendly staff A bit pricey for breakfast but good portions

A place we'll return to.

By SanDiego El |

Our group of 33 had a reunion in Crust. Alex and his team are a pleasure to work with. Tables were set up for us when we arrived. The servers were so patient taking our varied orders. The food is delish. The large, reasonably priced salads were beautifully presented.

Breakfast is my favorite meal!

By Sblade77 |

I will be as honest as I can be... I give Crust a 10 for service and presentation. The menu is actually really good, many choices, different combos (great mix), atmosphere is modern and really pretty. Here is where I am sad. The food itself wasn’t spectacular. I got the breakfast pot pie. It came beautifully presented with a triangular puff pastry, sunny side egg over a few potatoes with a gravy. In my opinion , it lacked seasoning as I added salt for flavor. The puff pastry was nothing out of this world. My partner got the egg and French toast plate, huge elongated plate with eggs, potatoes, sausage and 4 big slices of French toast. He said everything was great but the sausage was a bit chewy. I will go back and perhaps try something else. I paid $40 for 2 breakfasts and coffee incl tip... a bit much but god I tried it.

Pleasant surprise!

By MSRcpa |

Stopped in here because we were staying at a nearby hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. Food was hot and tasty. Service was good. Good variety on the menu. Enjoyed food and service we came back after a couple of days and brought friends. Same great food and service!

Last Breakfast of our stay. Wish it had been our first and all in between!

By kdjmisk |

Made from scratch is correct. Wonderful breakfast. I had French toast, perfect eggs, nicely seasoned breakfast potatoes, sausage (more like small German wurst), real syrup that doesn't come from a store shelf and a large glass of fresh orange juice with all the trimmings; doesn't get much better. Very reasonable price and good home cooking. The manager checked several times to ensure we were satisfied. We left wishing we could be there for lunch and dinner as there were many dishes we wanted to try. Nothing fancy. Just good eats with a smile. Like their sign says: "San Diego's Modern Cafeteria. For the area and other breakfasts we had, I would call it inexpensive.

Nice find!

By magicraider |

We really enjoyed our breakfast at the Crust Kitchen! The potatoes were particularly yummy! They had a really nice salty spice with a little bit of bell peppers. Potatos were cooked to the perfect crunch or "crust".. The waffles and pancakes are very tasty. The two eggs seems like 3 eggs. I recommend and would return.

Goog food and servce

By Lauren S |

Really a delightful surprise at how delicious our food was, hamburgers , wings and pizza! The service was spot on, affiliated with the hotel Atwood.

Nice Bonus

Having a restaurant in the middle of the hotel is dope, not to mention a full convenient store, its a dope thing.

COVID taking its toll on service - A mixed review

By John F |

While staying on Hotel Circle recently, we had the pleasure of dining at Crust Kitchen. The pleasure was upon our arrival on a Wednesday, mid-morning (9/15/2021) and finding breakfast was still available and it was almost 1:00 PM! We had just dealt with the WORST car rental company, and I was grouchy and hungry. Well, the Mango Mimosa cured all that instantly, as did the pleasant server who waited on us. This guy was good! My wife had the Eggs Benedict, and I had the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. BOTH were perfection! The price was fair and I tipped well for the excellent service! Things were a bit different on Thursday evening when we showed up with the rest of our family at about 7:00 PM. Hungry and tired from an exhausting day at the Marine Corps Depot for family day, the waitress was polite enough to let us know she was busy helping a "new wait staff" person handle some tables. One of the staff members who "shipped in" to help her must've been called in at the last minute and may not have known customer service that well, but thank goodness he came in as we ended up spending two hours there just to have dinner. The food was still excellent (I highly recommend the Hawaiian Burger) and the rest of the family loved the pizza which looked delicious. When fully staffed, I'm sure Crust Kitchen will be THE PLACE for wonderful meals!

Good pizza

By Camille C |

We stumbled across this place while staying at the Kings Inn down the way. Good food. Enjoyed the pizza the best!

Great food at a good price

By Douglas K |

The food was very good, filling, and moderately priced. The staff was friendly and courteous. Was a pleasant surprise to have at the hotel.

Visited Twice

By ALCBS |

We were staying in the hotel next door and as this place was on our doorstep we ate here twice. Once for dinner and once for breakfast. I couldn't fault the food at all. Both times the food was good and super filling. The portions were huge. The breakfast could keep you going all day. For dinner I had the creamy chicken pesto pasta and it was delish I wish I had the recipe so I could make it at home, it was seriously good. For breakfast I had the corn beef hash benedict and Oh my was it large. It could of fed an army 😍. My family all seemed to enjoy their meals here too. Not one of us managed to finish though. We left bloated and happy.

New place, great food

By Chris P |

New place, great food , developed by on-site chef - lots of families for pizza. Innovative breakfasts! Lots of waffles of many varieties. Friendly and helpful wait staff. Located in front of The Atwood Hotel; lots of parking

Breakfast take out and large menu!

By JenJen85254 |

Got take out from here for breakfast as they had an extensive menu for breakfast. All the food was delicious and plenty of food. The ricotta lemon and coconut waffle was yum! And the kids meal with chocolate chip pancakes were devoured! We did order a hot chocolate, which was the only bad thing about our breakfast. Fast service too!

Good variety

By Martin S |

Crust Kitchen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Deluxe pizza was very good. Burgers are huge. Great place to start your day or late night comfort food.

Great fast brunch!!!!

By Lynne G |

This place was so nice!!!! Super friendly servers, great Motown music I loved, since I was visiting from Detroit. The food was very good and the portions were large. I had a great experience here.

Honey Sriracha Wings

By AJ |

You might have a view of Crust Kitchen from this central location within the Hotel Circle. Last weekend, when I was by myself and searching for something to eat because I didn't like what was at the hotel bar, I had the chance to stop by this restaurant. The Sriracha Honey Wings were excellent! They were a blend of good-sized wings and flats with the typical accompaniments, and they were sweet with a hint of spice. Although the selection of beers on tap was limited, it included a range of light and hoppy options. The wait staff was excellent and very helpful. My only complaint is that I spent $30 for a glass of beer and an appetizer side of wings.

Sweet!

By TonyM |

We just went here for dessert and it was fabulous. We got it to go. We had the brownie cheesecake and a blackout cake. Both were amazing.

Bad takout

By Moonshinedog |

Maybe this place would be better if we were dine in instead of takeout. Its certainly gorgeous inside and not what i expected for hotel circle. The bar is beautiful and made me want to order a martini. But we ordered two salads and the calamari: One salad was fine but the other was either made completely wrong or they made the wrong one. It had only a few ingredients when on the menu it listed half a dozen (i only got greens and tomatoes). The calamari was so bland and the breading was mealy. The aoli it came with was tangy, so that helped, but it was more like eating crunchy mush with mayo. I want to like this place so I may try again, but very disappointing first impression.

Top Notch!

By jrzj42 |

Very good food at a fair price. Exceptionally friendly staff. Had an excellent BBQ sandwich - it was huge!. Very convenient to the hotels on Hotel Circle, but not really within walking distance of most. They will deliver. This review was written when the COVID-19 shutdowns were in-progress. The Crust kept their doors open for take-out and delivery only. Thanks guys!

Excellent!

By schiltgen |

We were staying at Hotel Circle and had a take out deluxe pizza. Fresh ingredients and excellent crust. Would highly recommend this place. Thank you Rosa!

Close to everything on Hotel Circle Drive

By DannyWasserman |

We stopped here and had a couple of cold beers. My son got the Country Fried Steak and I ordered the Hamburger and Fries. Friendly service and fair pricing.

Nice Breakfast or Lunch

By Tammie V |

We stopped here for breakfast and lunch on different days during our visit to San Diego. Both meals were served hot and fresh and the service was on point.

Great food, great service!

By Jenny H |

Got in late and walked down from the Extended Stay on a Thursday night. My husband ordered wafffle with chicken. Got a full waffle, 2 chicken breasts crusted (deep fried), 3 strips of thick bacon and a huge serving of tater tots! I got a wonderfully green salad with grilled chicken. Fresh and delicious with a nice choice of tap beers. Great experience and great food with generous portions.

Wedding weekend

The food was good, but it is pricey. Charged me for two cups of coffee when only one of us had coffee,

Hotel Circle Dinner

By Kay F |

I stay in this area of San Diego a couple of times a year and walked to this restaurant from the hotel. The burger and fries were very good. Service was prompt. I will eat here again.

Good food.

By kellianderson1969 |

Right in the complex of the Atwood hotel. Very convenient and good food. They even delivered to our room when we didn’t want to go out.

Awesome Experience

By Laura L |

AWESOME RESTAURANT!! Hubby and I had breakfast one morning. DIL ate lunch with us there a few days later. Staff was all excellent. Food was delicious and large portions. Friendly. Helped us by recommending a car rental place. Seated quickly, orders taken quickly, food arrived hot, fresh, and quickly! Definitely will visit them again if we get back to San Diego!

Surprise family restaurant

By Falaniko |

This was an unexpected surprise of fantastic food a good variety, great service and even better pricing given the quality food. Clean premises inside and outside. It was also a spacious restaurant open style atmosphere. Highly recommended for families or couples. 5 stars.

uggg

By Odyssey8639 |

total disappointment we went because Yelp gave it 4 out of 5 stars and it was close to our hotel. fruit cup old, soggy grapes, stale fruit. even the 2 year old spit it out. I could taste fish in my french fries , must use the same oil. I couldn't eat them. burger was overcooked, and seemed like a frozen costco patty. service was very slow from the kitchen. Staff was nice , friendly and tried to be helpful.

Great food selection and good service.

By Donna L |

We were staying at a hotel on Circle drive and wanted to go to a nearby restaurant to grab a bite because a relative needed to catch a plane In a couple of hours. Crust kitchen had a nice selection of food. You could order pizza for they had a huge pizza oven. They had salads which we ordered their apple brie chicken salad. I was surprised how tasty and fresh the salad was. The food is locally sourced and everything is made fresh. We ordered their skirt bv steak sandwich and their pastrami sandwich. The skirt steak was grilled to your liking and it was a huge sandwich. We ordered the parmesan tater tots. Oh was this sandwich delicious and so was the tater tots. The pastrami was good but you didn't get much meat and it didn't have much flavor. The service was excellent and the waitress was very good.. she was the one that recommended the chicken salad. Great place to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Good food

By dianascram |

We stopped for an early dinner. It was conveniently located to our hotel. Food and service were fine. Atmosphere reminded me of 1980s, cute, very clean. We didn't have to wait very long for our food

Great Food and Amazing Staff

By Holly K |

Highly recommend this restaurant is you're staying on Hotel Circle as well as if you live in the area. Great selection. Rosa was an amazing waitress. Absolutely adored her!

Great breakfast!

By Amy M |

My family and I chose this restaurant because it was close to our hotel and it did not disappoint! My husband had a breakfast burrito that huge and delicious, my son had chocolate chip pancakes that where bigger than his head, and I had the breakfast sandwich that had eggs, bacon, havarti cheese, arugula, tomato and lemon aioli. All of our meals were delicious and more food than we could finish! The coffee was delicious and served I large coffee mugs. We also got coffee to go! The environment of the restaurant is very nice. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

LOVE THIS PLACE

By Eva N |

We frequented this place often when we stay in the Hotel Circle area. their food is fresh and very well made. the staff is friendly and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it!

Good food

By travel963 |

My wife and I ate here three nights for dinner recently. We like their salads--excellent! The soup is good, too, and friendly service. My only criticism is that the waitress kept giving us a total bill for VISA with no breakdown. I always check the breakdown at any restaurant before I pay.

Disappointing

By ashie b |

We went to Crust Kitchen because it was close to our hotel, but I regret not going back to the Waffle Spot. The wait time was long, which I understand is because they only have 4 outdoor tables due to Covid. What was really the reason for my 2-star review is the cheap-tasting pancakes. I'm easy to please, I mostly order fruit-topped pancakes, waffles, or French toast when I eat at restaurants for breakfast. I have never been disappointed merely by the taste of the pancake itself. If I had to guess what it tasted like, I'd say microwaved frozen pancakes. The syrup and strawberries only contributed to the stale taste. I was disappointed, how do you mess up pancakes? Not sure about what my boyfriend got, but his lack of enthusiasm while he ate tells me he didn't enjoy it that much.

Good pizza

By TonyC1967 |

Ordered and it was ready fast. Very good pizza. Delivery was going to be 45 minutes but was ready in about 20 for pick up.

yummy

By Moshiborn |

The food was good and plenty and the service very good. My husband had a hamburger he said was very good

A nice surprise

By Robert W |

Very friendly service and surprisingly good food. I ordered a salad with chicken and it was fresh and really nicely put together, and the dressing was excellent. The space is inviting and the price was right. The menu lists just a couple of gluten free items but there are many items that could be prepared gluten free. But because they have only tagged a couple of items as gluten free, it may not be a good choice if you have celiac.

From the moment we walked up to the door at 9am and they were closed and said 15-20 more minutes, we should have left.

By richardgregg11 |

The food was cold, flat, and very tasteless! Will it be back here again! The music was loud the Coffee was watered down and the service was lacking!

Decent food. Too expensive for the quality.

By Nikki J |

Food was ok, too expensive . Coconut cake is fantastic though. I would go back just for that cake and take it to my hotel!

Quick and friendly

By sarivergirl |

We wanted a quick brunch before heading to the airport. At first, this place was weird because no one was at the host stand and it looked like you stand in line to order at the counter. That turned out not to be the case. When we finally got someone’s attention (I think his name is Alex), things started looking up. He offered to put a rush on our order and was very attentive through the table-service meal. I had a breakfast burrito that was a little on the dry side and my daughter had chicken and waffles. There was a large table next to us eating a variety of items and it all looked good.

What a surprise! Excellent serive!

By Babette023 |

We stayed on hotel circle, but even ended going to this Kitchen when we visited with friends and got take-out. We loved the thin crust pizza, and don't miss ordering the Chicken Cesear Salad. It's HUGE and delicious! We were strangers in a strange land, but found a friend in Crust!

Great food!

By Todd H |

Great staff and food! I am a business traveler and the staff makes me feel like family. Try the buttermilk fried chicken, it is scrumptious.

Not Impressed

By wendijade |

Looking for breakfast on Hotel Circle, head somewhere else. The food was only so, so but the prices were sky high. Service was nice, I will say. Breakfast sandwich $10? The tots were fried in stale oil. Ham and egg croissant was chewy and bland. Move along, nothing to see here.

Great Service!!! Great Food!!!

By 072107 |

Went to San Diego CA and this was my first time staying in this area of San Diego CA. They have so many Hotels in this area of Hotel Circle and no food places. The next morning we went to Crust Kitchen y first visit here. It's a cute place, clean, great service and good food. This place is Right there at the Hotel but the Hours are 7am-2pm. You will enjoy this place Crust Kitchen and the Service Lunch as well. You can have Breakfast or Lunch and the prices are good.

Overall good

By Pennyboots |

Visited here whilst staying at The Crowne Plaza nearby after reading good reviews on trip advisor. Overall I would say food and service was good although the meatball marinara sandwich was very dry and not that warm. The pot roast was delicious and the pizza good. Bit of a mix up with the steak we ordered. We had ordered steak but when it arrived it was a steak sandwich. We hadn’t realised there was a steak sandwich so perhaps the server should check when placing the order. My husband enjoyed the beer. The place was busy with a good atmosphere. Would recommend.

Friendly but slow service, okay food

By Modernity |

Crust was a bit of a disappointment after I read all the positive reviews. We were a total of 6 people for a late brunch. The restaurant wasn't crowded but it was noisy. They had run out of some items, but there's enough variety so that everyone was able to find something to their liking. We waited a long time for our food -- the waitress told us several times we were next, but other parties were served ahead of us. It seemed disorganized. The food was acceptable but not great; the potatoes were cold, the pancakes ok. Friendly waitress who was very accommodating and worked hard.

Great food

By carlosjustme |

The Huevos rancheros and the Mediterranean omelette were awesome The beans are absolutely delicious Great food and service

Worst meal in San Diego

By MARIO A |

Order meals for my family of four from Crust Kitchen. Spend around $100.ordered some buttermilk fry chicken what I got was discraze. I got 3 pieces of flat chicken. Very sad to see how take out quality has gone down the drain during pandemic. I am a true believer that it is poor quality like will take down small businesses like crust kitchen during pandemic. If I was staying closer to the restaurant I would have taken the meal back. Left a msg for manager Alex and have not heard back

Good breakfast in Hotel Circle area

By scotttevans |

I had the breakfast burrito with a side of fruit and it tasted very good and the burrito was big enough to hold me until lunch. The service was very good. I think that it is a little bit too much in price, but everything is local and fresh. I would go here again for breakfast the next time I am in San Diego.

Very rude stuff with attitude of "street vendor"

By Vladimír H |

We went to this place on 23rd November at around 2pm. The food was all right however nothing exceptional. I am sure kitchen stuff is doing all right job here but service is horrible. There was a guy in charge who when we came was talking to another guy in front of main door so we could barely notice he is in charge. He realised that we walk in when we were already sitting on the table so he run after us and redirected us to another table even tough there was barley people in the place. We found his language inappropriate and unprofesional using phrases like "you can sit here bro" besides the fact that he was on duty with customers and it was our first time seeing him. Very same guy who we were thinking were host came and took our order pressuring us like 3 times if we already decided. We were busy on the phone and he could see it it didn't take us more then 5 minutes but for him it was ages. We ask him for two sandwiches that he brought which were acceptable but nothing special. He brought us two sandwiched with fries. Finishing our meal he came to our table again saying "I am not even gonna ask you if you like the food I see that you vacuumed it out already" this kind of attitude you would expect from some uncertified street vendor rather then duty manager in a restaurant. When the bill came in he was going to charge us extra for fries. I kindly asked him if he can explain me what is the what was the charge for as we did not order any extras. Its not a big deal I was just curios what the charge is for expecting some normal explanation. We ordered only sandwich and the fact that hi brought us fries we understood as they were included. His answer " I brought you only what you asked for and it is on menu. If you did not like it why did you eat it? " instead of admitting his error he repeated same answer 2 time raising his voice at me. He did not want to admit his mistake instead he start fighting and yelling at customer. Honestly I have never seen such a behavior from waiter at any place. After reviewing menu he realised that he brought us extra fries by his mistake but he repeated same question." Why did you eat it if you did not like it? "All this happened just by asking what is the additional charge for. Unacceptable service zero professionalism and training. I won't be back

Good food!

By YourTypicalTourist |

Pretty functional looking place. Brightly lit & barely comfortable seating so it won't be your choice for date night. But the food was good! Salads clean, crisp & fresh. The buttermilk chicken was great. And I just shouldn't have had that big slice of cheesecake but I did & it was good too! Good & friendly service to top it off. Not cheap for what it is but that seems to be the norm in San Diego. Looked very busy with the pizza to go business side too, if that's more your thing. There's not too much competition in the Hotel Circle area &, if you don't want to travel out a bit, this is worth a try.

Nice staff, Noisy piped in music, Cool/Salty/Rubbery food.

By Patricia B |

Walked over for breakfast from our hotel at 730 am hoping for a decent cup of coffee, Not Here. Not busy. Friendly staff. Clean. TV on every wall and corner. The eggs were cool and a bit rubbery, the potatoes cool and very salty, the toast cold and VERY CRISP, and the Sausage and Bacon were nicely done but again cool and rubbery. Nothing seemed like it had just been cooked. Rather disappointing considering the reviews.

Skip this place!

By jonesfam4 |

Thought we’d venture out of the hotel restaurant but made a bad choice on location. Food was just ok, my daughter had chocolate chip pancakes and only had a few bites. Service was absolutely terrible…should’ve been self service as many times as we had to walk up and ask for refills. Also made us late to our next destination because we were never checked on to pay out.

Horrible Service

By Daniel A |

Our party of five walked into the restaurant and noticed several people waiting and several open tables. The hostess and manager were oblivious. They sat a family who arrived after us and seemed preoccupied with each other instead of the patrons or people waiting. The food looked delicious. Too bad we will not be back to try it.

Good food and reasonably priced. Free delivery to my Hotel

By Ricknote |

I stayed at a Hampton Inn up the street. I had flown in from Dallas and didn't have a car to drive out for dinner. They delivered to the hotel for free so I took a shot. They said the wait would be about an hour which is a bit more than I hoped but I wasn't waiting at a table so I placed my order. The menu has some healthy options so I ordered the Kale and Goat cheese salad for something light. The veggies were fresh and the dressing tasty. I would have preferred if it came with some kind of bread, but I was happy with it. I would go there again to check out more items on the menu.

Yummy Delivery

By Jaidyn B |

We stayed at DoubleTree along Hotel Circle. After a long day of exploring, we had no energy left to voyage out for supper. Thankfully, this facility participated in DoorDash. We were able to order and get our food in a very timely fashion. When it was delivered, it was extremely hot and fresh. White Pizza and Loaded Tots were absolutely delicious! Would definitely eat again!

Meh.

By Pablo H |

This is basically a pizza joint/diner, which can be great, but I was not impressed. I got the buttermilk fried chicken based on a recommendation on TripAdvisor. I found it stringy and dry. The mashed potatoes were mediocre, too. The craft soda was good, though.

Worst pizza ever

By Owenthomas |

I was the only customer in the restaurant and they burnt the pizza. They did offer to redo, but i had already waited 20 minutes so i went with the burnt one. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. So they are proud of the fact that each pizza is made to order. The crust was dry and reminded me of premade gluten free crusts. Cheese and pepperoni had nice flavor, but the burnt crust was over powering. The worst part of the experience is that it was not baked together. If you picked it up to eat it like a pizza is made to do, all the toppings came off. Probably due to the poor crust. I ate here years ago when it was first opened, and it seems to have gotten worse

Expensive and slow

By Phoenix52 |

Everything in San Diego is expensive. Just because they can. For the tiny place out in front of one of the motel/hotels on the less expensive side of Hotel Circle this place is too expensive for what you get. Had a chicken cesear salad that took over a half hour to receive.. People who were having pizza and came in after me got their pizza before I got my expensive salad. They had to grill the the chicken which took some time. Microwave it I don't care. Just wanted something light. Not a lot of choice on Hotel Circle South.

Late Dinner

By DM1108 |

Service was good, atmosphere was comfortable, food was well portioned equalled good value. Meatball sandwich was good, could have been heated longer, burger/fries was reasly good, chicken wings so so. Would return if looking for just a plain and simple meal.

Lunch

By mdpipkins |

Walked from a hotel up the street to try this place out. The service and food were both good. They also deliver for free within 3 miles from the location.

It took close to an hour to

By ChippyLaPaz |

It took close to an hour to get my food. The food was very poor quality. If you have any choice....eat somewhere else.

Burger

By Hendrik Matthys V |

Had a Burger there as recommended on Diners and Dives. Was good but not exceptional. Found it a it Bland. It was huge.

Average breakfast

By yorkie1552 |

I ordered the 2 eggs scrambled and 2 sausages. It also came with homefries, toast and coffee. It was just average and they charge too much. If you're staying at the Town & Country hotel then walk 5 minutes to the Fashion Valley Mall food court (on the 2nd level) and get breakfast for half the price at Cafe Socrates.

Nice breakfast spot

By Basinman |

We ate here on two mornings while staying at the Days Inn Hotel Circle nearby. Its just about a half mile walk. We were seated and served promptly. I had a breakfast burrito, while others had waffles or egg combos. All were very good. I liked that I could get a fruit salad with my breakfast burrito, rather than homefry potatoes. We would eat here again if in the area. Prices were not cheap, but they were reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. A good place for families or groups.

Awesome!!!

By Gregory K |

Great service, awesome food, Natalie is awesome!! Breakfast was great and quick. Well worth the stop! Highly recommend!!

Breakfast to new level

By d C |

This place does not look like much from the street. But the food was really good Large portions and great taste. I had the breakfast sandwich it was wonderful.

Definitely do it again

By Jason S |

Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. I tried the chicken and waffles. I was blown away by the presentation. It was presented like a fancy restaurant. Beautiful display of food. Then I tried the food. Wow not only was it presented nicely it tasted amazing.

A whole lot of food!

By celia_2 |

We ate here in the morning, before we headed out and both the service and the food were great. I initially balked at the food prices, but the plates are huge and it was totally worth it! The only downside is they only serve breakfast until like, 11 or 11:30am and some people like the option of a burger or sandwich at 10am.

Yuck

By Kate G |

We gave Crust Kitchen two tries, once for breakfast and once for dinner. Both tries were a fail. The service was fine. The food was terrible. I ordered biscuits and gravy for breakfast and the biscuit was so dense I had to saw it a ton. I ended up giving up on it and just mixing the gravy into my hash browns. Dinner was a three cheese pizza that had the crust consistency of a microwave frozen pizza. The loaded fries we had were covered in not quite liquid artificial cheese. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I honestly don’t understand how this place has any good ones.

Good food and service

By Amy D |

If you are staying on Hotel Circle, there are only a few restaurants. I ate at Crust Kitchen and had a very good pulled pork sandwich. I would recommend eating here. Come and enjoy.

Server was very Friendly

By 996kirk |

Our server was very Friendly which was really nice after a long drive that morning and the food was excellent. In a pleasant atmosphere.

Closed Eary

By Robert H |

I came in on a Tuesday at 940pm and was informed that they were closed. The problem is that they advertise themselves open until 10pm. They have printed literature pertaining to breakfast it also states open and serving until 10pm. The menu itself also states they are open until 10pm and serving until such time. When I asked about the hours, the girl working didn't know what time they closed or what time it currently was.

Fresh Food, Paleo Options

By O7918XPandread |

This restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We stopped here for lunch. The food was extremely tasty and fresh! The service was nice and friendly. This restaurant was opened about 2 years ago and serves mostly pizza, for eat-in as well as take out. Plenty of seating, even for a larger group. Wheelchair accessible. Highchairs, bar, and new outdoor seating. The outdoor seating area is supposed to open in Summer 2019. The name "Crust" is because their main dish being pizza. All the other foods are made fresh and you can definitely taste the quality of the food. We had a pastrami sandwich, soup and the BBQ pulled pork. There are Paleo options and vegetarian options available. There is take-out available, as well as delivery. Plenty of free parking available around the restaurant. This place has free Wi-Fi. They also offer a free shuttle service.

Good Food - Generous Portions

By mplsmarko |

My wife and I were staying at the Hampton Inn and walked to the Crust Kitchen for a quick dinner and were pleasantly surprised at the quality. We had a large salad with wonderful house dressing and a plate of meatball marinara that had a nice tang and more meatballs than I could eat. Wait staff was a bit unsure of themselves, but were pleasant and courteous.

Good Food

By Ian_Wand |

We had dinner here a couple of times and the food was very good. There was a good selection to choose from and the staff were friendly. There are lots of TV screens so if you don't like eating surrounded by visuals it may not be for you.

Dont Bother

By Christian C |

Place is trash the foods tampered with and the employee's are not loyal to the brand place is extremely corrupt too you are better not wasting your time here or money

Breakfast was so good we went back for dinner.

We came across this restaurant on our way to the zoo leaving our hotel. Amazing breakfasts. Then we saw the lunch and dinner dishes and decided we would go back for dinner after the zoo. Everything is fresh and scratch and amazing. I recommend Paris Burger and the Pear Gorgonzola Salad. I shared with a friend. My sons had pizza and salad and a cheeseburger and salad. They don't carry coca cola or pepsi. They have something without corn syrup. My sons loved it as there were plenty of flavors.

Fast extremely fresh food!!!

By John M |

My family and I were in San Diego over the past weekend and stayed within walking distance from crust kitchen and i have to say it was a pleasant surprise to find a small restaurant that serves fresh fast food. We had a pizza, cheeseburger, and Turkey cranberry sandwich for lunch everything was fantastic for dinner we had tomato bisque & grilled cheese for appetizer and chicken pesto Alfredo, chicken Alfredo ,meatballs & spaghetti ,and pork katsu and again everything was delicious and fresh. They have a very extensive menu check em out they are worth the trip. They have take out and delivery.

YES YES YAS

By Kyle's Vacations Travel Club |

The food was great. The options are so big. The salad was enough for 2 people. The only problem was the quarantine in the hotel behind the building.

Omg!! So Good!!

By Rebecca R |

Came in twice for breakfast over the weekend when I was in town. Really good clean food!! Wonderful presentation! Colorful dishes! I really enjoyed the owner waiting on us both times! Really good robust coffee! The only recommendation I have is for the restaurant to be more discreet about the catering and to go orders. We sat outside because the rustle of to go bags was unappealing. But, sitting outside was so nice. But, if we had to sit inside, we probably wouldn’t have stayed. A wall would do wonders. No one wants to see that!

Amazing Breakfast

By COTraveller33 |

Amazing breakfast! You have to try to Waffles with lemon ricotta and coconut. Sooooo good! Top 5 breakfasts. Everyone loved their breakfasts -- burritos, sandwiches, waffles, etc.. Definitely go here for breakfast if staying in hotel circle area. Service: Great. The bald-gent was really customer focused. Bathrooms: Clean Location: Hotel circle Parking: Free, paved lot Food: Amaze-balls! Drink: Decent coffee

Visited 3 times in 1 week

By Ann V |

We stayed in the area to visit family at Hillcrest Hospital. Rosa is the sweetest, kindest waitress that we met. The food is great. We had their veggie pizza twice and also the veggie burritos. I would come back again without hesitation.

a few doors down from Holiday Inn Express

By Orchard Orchid |

upon checking into our Hotel we took a ride to the nearest store and it happened to be connected to The Crust Kitchen restaurant. The server recommended their pizza and wow! Amazing and one of the Best Pizza's I have ever had. A medium fed the both of us and our server was just the best guy (sorry I forgot his name)

Pizza was delicious- server was miserable!

By m4slcsam |

Family of 4. Fully loaded meat lovers extra large pizza. Also ordered chips which came way before the pizza but they were lovely too. I think we cc'd w as itedv40 minutes for the pizza which we couldn't believe as the place was empty but the taste didn't disappoint. The server however had a face that could turn milk sour. She clearly looked as if she didn't want to be there and displayed the same body language too. Such a shame........!

Quality

By Aaron G |

This place deserves more love! The quality in the food you can truly taste. The staff is great, food is spot on and well priced. We’ve eaten here numerous times while staying in Hotel Circle. Worth a visit!

Potential of being very good

By Owenthomas |

Friendly staff. Nice setup. Decent menu selection. Good prices. But just ok food. Although I did not have it, they had NY style pizza and it looked very good.

Fresh and tasty food

By Bonestrotter |

Visited the place during my week stay at San Diego. The food is fresh and tasty. The ambience in nice and warm and there are some really friendly staff. Ordered the Philly Cheese Steak and Pizza with some beer. All good! Would go again if I get a chance!

Morning breakfast

By madjabeen17 |

They have us wait longer to get into the seat . When we got our place they serve food after long waiting time n guess what he didn’t provide us any spoon n forks. No taste of the omelette. No customer service.

French toast

By NellieB61 |

The bread was good. The problem is they used canned apples. They should have used fresh. Our they could have at least cut the apples into chunks and mixed with cinnamon and sugar and heated it. They just dumped the apples right out of the can.

Disappointing.

By Roland E |

I was very hungry when I arrived here. I ordered the butter chicken and a glass of red wine. The wine was delicious. The chicken was over cooked and dry, the mashed potato tasted good but was cold, the sauce was quite tasteless, the vegetables were just about ok. I could not finish the meal even though I was very hungry. When I made my feelings clear to the waitress she got extremely aggressive called 'security', and even threatened to call the police. I said I was happy for her to do so. When I offered to pay half of the bill (more than it was worth) she got even more angry and insulting. Ultimately I left paying the bill with a tiny discount just to get out of the place. I will not be returning to this very mediocre restaurant, and I would suggest that the waitress needs a course in anger management.

Very nice place for dinner!

By Mister-Markie |

Staying here for a few days and saw this down the street from my hotel - checked out the menu, and here I am! Came for dinner about 5ish, and no one was here except me! And the staff, of course. Seated quickly, and I was greeted by Janet, and she provided me some ice water while I perused the menu. I decided on a pear and Gorgonzola salad ($11.95) with Ranch dressing rather than the vinaigrette. It offers arugula, dried cranberries, candied pecans, carrot shavings and blue cheese crumbles. I also tried the Loaded Tater Tots ($10.95) without the bacon, and with the offered scallions, cheese sauce and sour cream. The salad came quickly and was very nicely presented. There were plentiful cranberries, pecan chunks and crumbles - many left over when the lettuce (umm, arugula!) was almost gone. Very delicious. The tater tots came shortly after the salad, so it sat while I enjoyed my salad. By the time I got to it, the taters were still warm enough but the cheese sauce was getting pasty as it cooled. And it did not come with the sour cream. Boooo. Overall, I would definitely get this salad again (or maybe try the wedge!) and would avoid the tater tots - a disappointment for the price. The restaurant itself is a nice environment, clean, modern and attractive, with TVs if you need the distraction, but I enjoyed the meal. The kitchen is semi-open, and stacked with tons of pizza boxes for take-out. And, next to the counter is a case filled with desserts just waiting . . . sadly, I couldn't eat more, and I hope they are still waiting for my next visit! The staff were spot on, attentive and friendly - Janet was a pleasure to work with, so to say! Oh yeah - almost forgot the Pineapple Cream craft soda I tried. It was delicious, very cream flavored, with enough pineapple to be present but not overwhelming. It was $3.50, perhaps a little pricey, but a different flavor (and there were other unique flavors offered as well). Overall a very nice meal - if you're in the Mission Valley/Hotel Circle area, give them a try!

Good Pizza & Convenient

By xAngelaMarie |

I try to avoid restaurants surrounded by hotels, but sometimes you're just wiped out after a long day. We got there 30 minutes before close, desperate for food, and it was next door to our motel. Feel awful coming in so close to closing time, but the server was really nice. We grabbed a pepperoni pizza and caesar salad to-go and wandered back to our room. Really hit the spot. Got the extra large so it was NY style. Good crust, easy sauce, nice ratio of toppings. Glad we stopped in because the food was pretty great, though a bit pricey.

Good Food

By panchomama |

Walking distance from our hotel and a great spot for a quick meal after flying all day from the east coast to the west coast. A couple of pizzas for the four of us hit the spot. Good beers on tap. Very attentive wait staff. Offers free shuttle service to and from hotels nearby.

Good quality food but big portions!

By cherylfromamsterdam |

When you order anything from this menu, you can pretty much order 1 dish for 2 people. I had the French Toast and the toasts were massive. It was yummy though. Even the coffee came in a huge cup. The quality was good and I would recommend it. but I would not say this is amazing. It's just good food at an affordable price but nothing special.

Nice place for breakfast

By Stephanie B |

This was near our hotel so we stopped in. The food was very good and the service was great. The staff was very friendly without being bothersome.

Quaint Restaurant with Fresh Vibe

By Liselle D |

Had breakfast here while staying at The Kings Inn. It’s walking distance. Very cute ambiance, fresh food and excellent service. I ordered the breakfast pot pie, delish. Kids ordered pancakes. Coffee was great and serviced in a huge mug; can’t complain.

Wow!! Great Place for Lunch

By Steve D |

Ate lunch here a few days ago, probably the best Philly Cheesesteak that I have had in years. Prices are very reasonable, great food, great service. Close to hotels in Hotel Circle area, worth the drive if you are staying elsewhere.

Great Burgers

By yzah |

Very friendly service, had one of the best cheesburgers there. If you stay somewhere near hotel circle give it a try

Excellent Breakfast Selection

By 764hsanz |

I have three picky eaters who love breakfast so when we saw the guys with the Crust Kitchen sign when exiting from the freeway, we took a chance. Plenty of parking. Got seated quickly. My daughters ordered strawberry shortcake waffles. They did not share! My husband got the Mediterranean omelet. His plate was also clean. I got the breakfast sandwich which was delish. I like that they used arugula. Food was really good. We will definitely come back again to try lunch and dinner.

never eat here again

By Timothy H |

was here for dinner and ordered the fish and chips and my partner ordered buttermilk fried chicken, while I was waiting for our order to arrive I went to the restroom when entering the light was out and I had to go in pitch darkness, thanks to the kindness of another patron who turned her light on her mobile phone, when seated our meals arrived and we started eating my partner said his meal tasted awful and my fish was covered in so much batter that by the time I got to the fish it tasted like it hadn't been defrosted properly, before the meal we ordered Ice Teas that tasted like a teabag dunked in water bloody awful, the waiter was rude and kept forgetting things, the only thing I could say was good was the mac and cheese with fries for my disabled son, no tip or compliment on a great job for service and food, I would not recommend this place for any form of eating out

Good menu

By W4136FFkennethw |

Food was very good and good portions clean establishment different menu would eat here again service was okay

Fantastic food, fast delivery, and reasonable

By LiD448 |

We ordered salads, pizza, soup, and Parmesan bread sticks for dinner. Price was fairly reasonable and food was delivered to our hotel (about 3 properties down) within thirty minutes. Pizza was sort of NY style with a tasty sauce and lots of cheese. The salads were nice dark leafy green salads with the best Italian dressing I've ever had. We enjoyed the food so much that we visited the restaurant for breakfast the morning of our departure and were not disappointed. From breakfast sandwiches to omelets and waffles, the food was perfect. We had a party of 4 adults and two children and with a bill of $72, I'd say it was a tad pricey, but it was very much needed after our bad experience staying at the Double Tree.

Not fancy but solid

By Stanfords55 |

Crust is located on the Atwood Hotel property, but is more than a hotel cafe. I gather it is a minor destination dining spot for some locals. Not high end cuisine, but a couple of specialties deserve note. For instance the tomato-basil soup (be careful that you get the bowl you ordered...they served us cups one evening and tried to charge for bowls). There were some refreshing pizza stylings that we're not accustomed to at home. Breakfasts are pretty standard but the portions are large.

Good food at a good price

By steve16051955 |

This is a clean and bright restaurant. My wife had the clubhouse sandwich which was very good. I had fish and chips which was good. There were a number of choices on the kids menu. The staff were friendly and attentive. San Diego can be expensive in general but the prices here were quite reasonable. We would definitely come back if in the neighbourhood again

Delicious Breakfasts

By Ginny123123 |

Ate here 4 mornings while staying at the Atwood Hotel. Very happy with the meals and service, but the Huevos Rancheros would not be recommended.

So so Breakfast

By BobbyD6363 |

Friend chose this place for Breakfast. Server was charming and social. However, that is about the best thing I can say. Four of us all didn’t enjoy our breakfasts. I had the Pork Katsu Loco Moco. Just dry pork chop with some bland and pasty home fries. Husband had a dry pineapple upside down cake waffle. Friend had a bland breakfast burrito. The Yelp reviews were our friend’s basis for selecting Crust. I also read them and am surprised to have had such a bad breakfast. This place used to be Albies one of our favorite breakfast joints. Now it is Crust. Bottom Line: we won’t return.

Amazing food!!

By Spla5h |

The food was fantastic, large portions so you have plenty to have for later. Everything we ordered was awesome, It was so good we went back a couple of times.

Delivery - Order Error - Corrected ✔️

By Amy K |

Ordered for delivery to hotel. Total cost $81 and have a $19 tip. Appetizer: large Mac & Cheese not bad. This is the item that was left off the delivery and was delivered on 2nd visit (recovery from error) 2 wedge salads 1 w/out bacon and 1 w/out tomatoes - uhm both without dressing? (Corrected with 2nd delivery) 1 med rare blue cheese burger with fries no veggies on the burger - got it right and enjoyed by my omnivore husband. 1 veggie burger no pickles with fried egg on top (I’m an ovalacto veg head) well got pickles in it (had to remove) the burger was tasty would order again sans pickles. Carrot cake - dry - sadly Tiramisu - enjoyed and good Pepperoni pizza -oops we didn’t order this? And we don’t eat it-sent on back with driver who delivered the Mac & Cheese and dressing for the salad. A bit pricey. The burgers were great-salad good and they apologized and corrected the error. You decide.

Perfect diner like restaurant

By Jennifer B |

This restaurant serves everything and kept everyone in my family happy. Their menu is vast and everything we ordered was delicious and had our picky 13yo son happy too. The service was decent and I found the manager to be extremely attentive and helpful.

Convenient location at Hotel Circle

By Richard S |

Crust Kitchen is your average diner, with breakfast, lunch and dinner, at Hotel Circle. The owner is a friendly guy that'll answer any questions you might have on the menu or directions to various destinations in and around San Diego. You can rely on descent food at a descent price. Although this place is not a pizza restaurant, they do offer pizza.

2 good meals in a wek

By Jason S |

We ate at Crust twice, once with delivery to hotel and the on site. Food was very good and high quality. The pot roast was excellent and nice break from vacation eating. Deserts were also very good.

Surprisingly good!

By Susan Y |

We arrived at Crust and found no patrons in the restaurant. A server seated us and told us a little about the place. The menu offered sandwiches, soups, etc. with fresh accompaniments. We ordered burgers, which were very good, but I found mine almost impossible to hold. It was piled so high and when the buns got soggy from the tomatoes and dressings, that was the end of the burger. I hate when I have to struggle to eat something!

Lunch

By Benefitsguy1 |

We walked down from our hotel to grab a bite to eat. The club sandwich was good, maybe a bit dry. My wife’s burger was good and flavorful. The location was convenient and the service was good.

Good food

By Danielle N |

We ate here on Sunday - yes, a Sunday - because it was hard to find any place without a very long wait time. Our food was good, but I felt very sorry for the person I am assuming is the manager. There was one waitress there for the entire large restaurant. I am guessing there are >12 tables there. There were plenty of people working in the kitchen part but the front end had a hostess, the manager, and 1 waitress. And I am assuming that Sundays are busy days for them - at least most of the restaurants were very busy on Sunday morning! So service was very slow. We waited a very long time to get our drinks - the hostess said our waitress would be "right there" - only we never saw the waitress! And the manager did apologize for the wait; after a while he brought out our pizza and said he expediated the order because we had to wait so long, but daughter and grandson still had to wait awhile to get their pancakes and breakfast sandwich. Must be very popular with locals because the manager appeared to know many of his clientele. Husband and I had pizza because the smell was so overwhelmingly good. But you truly have to LOVE garlic. And I do love garlic. But this pizza had too much garlic even for me. We could not finish the medium pizza (they only have medium and large). I saw other plates of their waffle combos and the serving sizes were HUGE).

World Class

By Volker E |

I was desperately looking for a restaurant in the Hotel Circle in San Diego and just by coincidence found the Crust Kitchen. I received a very pleasant surprise. The people were very competent, friendly and professional, the food was excellent and the beer was good. On top of that : value for money phenomenal !!!

Great service for delivery

By Robert G |

This restaurant delivered a very tasty blackened mahi mahi sandwich. Food was very good and a nice sandwich. Delivery was made within 20 minutes to my hotel room. I liked the food, service, and see this as a great option when unable to drive.

Lunch

By lorna r |

We wanted to try this new place. The food was good, but, did not match the menu. We ordered Pork Katsu Loco. Although it tasted good, it was a pork chop, not Pork Katsu as expected. The loaded tater Tots were outstanding. Going back on Friday to try it out one more time!

Lovely brekkie

By Kimmieward |

Had breakfast here one morning, great sausage and eggs bendict, endless coffee all in all a nice experience. Reasonable too.

Nice spot close to the hotels

By michele4063 |

Food was good. Portion size was good. Alex our server was fantastic. Kept checking on us and also gave us a few laughs. Nice varied menu. This place gets busy so you might have to wait to get a table

Great service & food

We stayed at The Atwood hotel & were pleasantly surprised by how good the onsite restaurant Crust Kitchen was. We had breakfast, lunch & dinner there on different days & always received very good service & great food at a reasonable price.

Staff were very friendly. Food was typical, diner-type. You can get breakfast well into the afternoon.

New restaurant close to Kings Inn. The burgers and chicken was very good. Staff was great in making their recommendations and were fast and very friendly

Wonderful tasting food made from scratch. Great service, pretty reasonable prices. I highly recommend!

Good skirt steak and pizza

By cindypittsburgh |

We ordered delivery to Homewood suites down the road. The skirt steak dinner was excellent, as well as the pizza. The food arrived quickly and promptly and the driver was pleasant. We were very grateful and pleased.

just okay, but give it a try

By mynahbird1 |

We stopped here for lunch after seeing a guy off a freeway ramp holding a sign with Crust Kitchen. I got the applewood turkey sandwich with their home chips - not bad but could be better, I would add more aioli sauce and sprouts, and tomatoes since the sandwich had a dry finish to it and flavorless. The cranberry spread didn't help it at all. My friend got the wedge salad with shrimp and she loved it. The shrimp was decent sized, not the small ones. This place is located outside the Atwood Hotel just off the freeway. Free parking. Worth a try...it's fixable.

Good service , so-so food

By Brenda |

We had breakfast here on our third morning. I ordered eggs over easy and they came with the whites not cooked. They were quick to correct it but we are not impressed that they didn't seem to know how to cook eggs correctly. We did not return.

Food was great staff was not

By Valerie C |

Service was ok… food was delicious. Went for breakfast it was great then went during dinner and that’s when I waited almost 20 minutes for ranch and the rest of my meal. The staff was frustrated because it was busy so we left and didn’t even bother getting dessert.

Great Dinner!

By Nicole C |

My family and I were in town for a few nights and chose Crust Kitchen for dinner simply based on the convenient location (right across from our hotel). For a party of 6, the wait time for all of our dinners wasn’t bad at all. Everything came out perfectly. I was shocked at how huge the Hawaiian burger was! My sister got some sort of chicken, apple, Brie salad, which also looked absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Melissa, was wonderful. My grandmother ordered chicken and tots, and after overhearing that she wished that the restaurant had honey mustard, Melissa went in the back to mix up some honey and yellow mustard. That was so sweet and thoughtful of her to do; she could’ve just said they don’t carry honey mustard, but she went above and beyond to try to make us happy. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere of this restaurant!

Poor service, rude manager.

By Rocky The Traveler |

Stayed in the hotel behind the Restaurant. Long day of traveling and just wanted a pizza delivered to our room. When in, ordered it and the cashier said they would deliver it to our room in about 30 minutes. Tipped pretty well, and better getting our food. After about an hour, no pizza. Tried to call but they didn't answer. Got dressed and walked back in. Lady said they were closed. Told here I was checking on our pizza, that at that time was about an hour late . She spoke to someone, owner or manager I'm guessing. He asked what I ordered and he said we have a "left over " pizza that might be ours. Got really snotty with me and said his cashier left early and didn't tell him anything about. I tried to tell him it wasn't MY fault his employee didn't tell him. He kind of yelled at me, so I just took the pizza and left. Kind of pricey pizza, but it was good. Probably would have been better if it hadn't sat there for an hour... Plus the ten bucks I paid for them to the room was just wasted. I wouldn't recommend them. When they screw up that badly and don't give a damn, they really don't deserve the business.

Family trip

By Patricia B |

Horrible customer service, no one greeted us as we walked in the restaurant. It was not super busy but the wait staff assisted the person behind us before she sitted us. Then she went to take his order while we sat waiting to even get a drink order in. We gave it a full 10 minutes or so then walked out. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. We went down the street to another place where service and food were the best.

Great dinner and wide variety

By Scott_M_SubGuy |

Came here for dinner and was pleased by everything. Met at the door and seated quickly, service followed soon with drinks and a varied menu to choose from. While a good number of patrons were taking advantage of the wonderful smelling pizza, several others were having all number of things. Selecting the tequila lime pasta, I did not have long to wait until I enjoyed a very tasty meal. The beer selection was not huge, but once again it was quite varied such that all tastes should find something they prefer. Portion size was on the generous side, service was quite good and the food tasty.

Not good

By chrisgrant70 |

The salad was decent, the service was very slow but the pizza was awful. Ironically, it was the crust that was bad. Seriously tasted like those premade crusts from the grocery store. Really disappointed as the place looks cool and has pretty good reviews.

Great Foodat Crust Kitchen

By MusicfanPA |

We ate breakfast and dinnier at the Crust Kitchen while staying at the Atwood Hotel in San Diego. We got great food and Service. It was also very convenient.

To go

By Thedriveagain |

Just got my order, I realize special request can be a pain but no red onion, seems simple and no chipotle aoili. So the burger was fixable, i did try the chicken sandwich and The chicken was overfried and seemed old. The wedge salad was large unfortunately someone assumed when we said ranch we knew it was cilantro lime. All in all a $50 lunch, and we are looking up more food. Bummer

Within walking distance

By AZhiker |

This restaurant was recommended to us by fellow hotel guests and was within walking distance from Hampton Inn Mission Valley. Our waiter, Luke, was polite, friendly, and attentive. His good natured banter added to the experience of the tasty food. We had great drinks: red wine and mimosa. There were different varieties of mimosas and I had it with pineapple and orange juice. The tomato basil soup was homemade. We loved everything we ate which was Mac n cheese and calamari with an aoli dip. It was nice to drop in the market attached to the restaurant for forgotten toiletries.
