So seven of us went there for lunch today (on a Saturday) to celebrate a birthday. We were seated immediately at a comfortable table (not jammed in).Our waiter was excellent and the service (with Steve) was great throughout the meal.A manager welcomed us and told us about some of the new additions to the menu, which several members of our party tried. The ambiance of the place is great--lively, but not so loud you can't carry on a conversation, even at a large table like ours. The crudo is always excellent--light, super fresh and beautifully presented. I tried the tuna ($12) and the yellowtail ($12); both were quite good.On prior visits, I've had the the salmon ($12) which I also enjoyed. I had the Chicken Piccata ($22), which really is one of their best dishes--a really nice lemon and caper sauce. A new dish which several others had and enjoyed was a rigatoni with broccoli, peppers and sausage ($23). We finished with the olive oil cake (always great) ($11), the Affogato (gelato, etc.) which was amazing, and a sort of molten chocolate lava cake, which was also quite good (I suggest the Affogato; the others are good, that dessert is outstanding). . .) We had cocktails and different wines by the glass. Wine prices were fine for a place like this but the cocktails were in my view, a bit pricey. But not a big deal in an otherwise great experience. Finally, we're been there for lunch and dinner, and both are good, but I highly recommend lunch, Inside (where we were) is fine, but when the weather is nice, the patio is a great place to have lunch.

Great service and great food in the best outside eating area . We visited this restaurant when briefly visiting Los Angeles on a family holiday which tied in with a Birthday. The atmosphere is wonderful created by some very attentive staff who make everyone feel special. The menu is varied and Italian food of the highest standard.

Food and service were good. Setting was very pleasant and servers tried yo connect with diners. There is a range of small to large plates.

The dining room and patio at Culina are beautiful - and provide for a wonderful setting for a relaxing meal. I thoroughly enjoyed the branzino - and the caprese salad starters. However I found the service "spotty". After we were seated, we were asked if we wanted water (tap, bottled, etc.) and were then brought the water and bread. But after waiting for some time, I finally got a bit impatient and had to flag someone down to take our drink order. Actually, after that, things improved for the rest of the meal. As for the drinks - be aware that they are on the pricey side. For example - a Bombay Sapphire martini runs $24 Would I go back to dinner at Culina? Yes, the food is fantastic

this is an overall best and elegant restaurant to dine at the food is delicious and service wonderful i would recommend this fine and elegant restaurant anytime.

I don't know why I didn't expect much, but we loved this restaurant and highly recommend it. Many restaurants around to choose from, but this was our favorite. Every morsel was perfect, and the setting was amazing! Save room for dessert...totally worth it! I say it is a good value because even though it is "high end", it is worth it...generous portions, and like I said, everything so delicious!

When I am in LA, I love to go to Culina for Sunday brunch to lazily hang with friends and drink Bloody Mary's. We have been going here for years and it just keeps getting better. This is my favorite Sunday brunch found anywhere. Yes, it is expensive but the quality of the food and the selection is well worth it.

Great seating in doors and outdoors. Food is very good and healthy. Good efficient staff. Highly recommend

This is a very good, innovative high end Italian in a lovely environment. The staff is very professional and the sommelier very knowledgeable about his extensive and reasonably priced wine list. This is definitely fine dining at its best. We were five in our party and shared all appetizers and entrees so we ranged across a good piece of their menu and each dish was a winner. The Roderer Rose Brut was and excellent choice as were the Magerum Syrah. We intend to return!

This has become our breakfast place on our LA trip on sept, 2018. They serve Californian and Italian dishes with both indoor and outdoor seating. It looks like Hollywood power breakfast or sunday Brunch spot. Lots of script meeting were going on there in the morning. Breakfast is excellent, with fresh-squeezed juices (We especially loved the orange juice). But this place has something special. Its not about food, its about how you feel here having your food. You feel great. You feel content. Its all about style, class and upscale service.

excellent choice of (modern) italian specialties, in particular we enjoyed great starters followed by a remarkable

Glad the Sunday brunch is back. Good foods (love the roasted cauliflower), staff very attentive and friendly. The music during meal was quite loud so we had to speak louder. We didn’t even sit too close to the dj.

Great restaurant in the Four Seasons Beverly Hills Hotel. Nice outside sitting for lunch. Refined menu great service.

My wife and I had a dinner here along with a few expresso Martini Very nice meal with awesome truffles. The place has good character and history. Only a walk to Rodeo Drive 👍

We've eaten here often and usually enjoyed our meals. Some things haven't changed: a great atmosphere, beautiful patio and gracious and professional staff. But our recent visit for lunch was disappointing. The quality of the ingredients and the manner in which they were prepared was fine.So why were we disappointed? At some point since our last visit, they changed the menu. I seem to recall hearing they got a new chef. Perhaps that is the reason for the menu change. But IMHO the change takes the restaurant from an A- to a C+ The menu is smaller, and they removed many of the items we used to enjoy. It also seems to lack creativity. The place has been turned into another mediocre hotel restaurant. Unless the menu changes, I doubt we'll be back..

This restaurant is in Four Seasons in Beverly Hill. Very cosy place. Expensive place. But food was great. Appetizers were great. Liked Battuta. Carpaccio was excellent. For dinner liked Pizza Tartufone: which has Parmigiano, Duck Egg, Fresh Truffle. Excellent. And desert was magnifique. Butterscotch Budino is great.

I loved the service, they greeted you by name and continued using it thought out your meal. The food was presented well and was delicious.

Loved the healthy dishes; it's nice to have options; the smoothies were fantastic as well as the entrees. Pricey but delicious!

We had dinner at the Culina at Four Seasons last week. Pretty quiet place, not a lot of guests. Really nice staff, the service was great. Food was ok, nothing special but tasted good.

The Service: Again, the service is "A+"!! All the staffs provide excellent customer service. Special thanks to the General Manager, Joseph Ramaglia, for his hospitality. Great recommendation on all the dishes!! One he knows our taste, he knows exactly what dishes we would enjoy. The Food: TARTARE DI DENTICE - red snapper. tomato marmelata. fennel. castelveltrano. parsnip crisp. (The red snapper is super fresh & tender. This dish is so refreshing.) POLENTA - croccante crispy polenta. prosciutto. parmesan. spicy tomato sugo. (LOVE the spicy tomato sugo, a little kick to go with the crispy polenta) SALSICCIA CASERECCIA - house made pork sausage. grilled flatbread. seasonal fruit mostarda.(very interesting dish~ pork sausage with fig mostarda) INSALATE MELE E FINOCCHIO - pink lady apples. fennel. medjool dates. sicilian almonds. piave. sherry vinaigrette. (the dressing is so light. The dish has lots of texture! FUN~) BUDINO - coffee and hazelnut budino. caramel. crème fraiche. (OMG!! It is heavy but not overpowering. The crunchy hazelnut & toffee candy on top of the budino.... so addictive!) The food is very authentic. Very fresh ingredient. We sat in front of the Crudo Bar. So much fun seeing the chef in action preparing the food. Everything is made to order. Love the presentation on the plates, just like piece of art! What a pleasant dinning experience! Culina is now one of my favorite restaurants in LA. Will definitely be the regular customer there!

Your experience here can greatly differ depending on the table you’re given and your seating preferences. As an observation I’ve noticed that they tend to seat younger people, or those with kids, outside and then reserve the inside cushioned seats for the older crowd. If you don’t like eating dinner outside (like me), and want a comfortable chair, make sure to specify your preference, at the time of booking.

Visited with my nephew - a quiet night but service was fabulous - food excellent ! Do not miss this place !

Culina is the epitome of great service and great food. Four seasons is the best in town and has a brunch that set the bar so high that no one in town has been able to Come close to compete. One of my favorite places to enjoy a beautiful lunch or a romantic dinner or just a great happy hour after work. Whatever the reason, I find myself here and always leave with the best experience ever. Do not miss this place if visiting LA!

My husband decided to eat at the hotel restaurant as the kids were tired and we didn't have a reservation. Knowing that walking into Culina on a Thursday night without a reservation was a disaster waiting to happen, I went along for the ride. This is where you expect the diatribe to begin, but guess what? The restaurant accommodated us! The food was great, the kids were able to order from either the kids menu or the regular menu and the waiter went the extra mile and served the kids first in order to ensure that they didn't get too hungry. We decided to try the cheese and charcuterie board as well as the spaghetti alla chitarra and the lamb lasagna. I had absolutely no complaints as the board was plentiful and the pasta was really well done! My husband also loved his lamb lasagna, but I think he loved the generous helping of bourbon more! The meal was not inexpensive, but the atmosphere, service and quality of food was all good. I would definitely go there again!

During our two night stay at the hotel we had dinner in the restaurant one evening. When we booked the table the lady taking the reservation suggested sitting outside would be nice. When we arrived for dinner the waitress showed us a table inside. I said we had requested an outside table but despite all the tables being empty she told us nothing was available! Amazingly when we asked to speak to the manager five minutes later we had a table outside. I do hope that this is not one of those restaurants that reserves the good tables for "special" people. Despite the start we actually had a nice meal and our server was really good.

Italian food with a great terrace sitting area. We got there well after 10.30 pm without a reservation and they where very nice to serve us a fantastic dinner. The antipasto was fantastic and so was the gourmet pizza.

Great breakfast/lunch great assortment of food very good service as well, a little pricy but this IS Beverly Hills, I would definitely recommend this restaurant

Whether you want a light dinner of pizza or a superb pasta or entree Culina does it all. Tables are nicely spaced to permit conversation. Seating is available both indoor and outdoors. I loved the grilled octopus appetizer followed by a perfectly prepared Bronzino in a lemon caper and cheery tomato sauce. Simple gelato for dessert made for a lovely meal.

We had lunch here and it was amazing Italian food. I had the most unusual concoction for dessert that was scrumptious !!!! I will definitely eat here again when in LA

I have eaten at this restaurant on prior visits to Los Angeles. I normally stay in the Four seasons property. My meal on June 3 was less than expected in quality and presentation. I ordered the filet, medium rare. It came MEDIUM WELL! And it was not at all appealing in presentation. There are many wonderful restaurants in this area. I shall not return

We stayed at BW and went to four season for Sunday brunch for my daughters 7th birthday. We went there earlier than 10am, waited 45 min for the restaurant to open. The host totally ignored us at first, then when I mentioned we were there first she told us we can sit anywhere in the lobby of the restaurant not even in the main area itself. I have complained twice that we don’t want to sit in front of the walking door and have asked to move us to the main area or even the patio she totally ignored us again. We ended up sitting there, getting no service properly, we were the only ppl sitting in that area and she directed everyone else to the main area of the restaurant. We paid for the brunch $85 per person and not even receiving a good service. Don’t go there for the brunch. Hotel looked nice.

Very pleased with service and food at Culina. One of places I live in this part of LA. Recommended for meeting with friends, couples or business lunch.

Ok, I have eaten here maybe 50 or 60 times and it is always just fine. I love some of their salads and I am sad when they remove them from the menu. Having said that, I wish that they would add a few new fish/quail/chicken dishes to the dinner menu. It is a lovely location, and a place to see and be seen. I would suggest carrying a Chanel bag.

We ordered a number of courses. The mushroom soup was very pungent. The pasta was so underdone, I couldn't chew it. I asked that no red peppers be put in the sauce; it came with Chili peppers in it. The restaurant remade it but by that time, I just told them to make it to go. The manager came over, asked if he could do anything. I expressed my dissatisfaction. Bill came with our two drinks included on the bill. (We had prepaid the rest of the meal. ) Manager said that the restaurant did nothing wrong; we got our pasta to go!!! Lucky us. This place is not about service or quality of food. Manager should go back to Four Seasons' school. Customer is always wrong here. Manager belongs in a place like Denny's.

The Ravioli was fantastic as was the Chardonnay that was recommended. Loved the atmosphere. Would definitely eat there again!

The best restaurant we have been in Los Angeles, we ate three dinners there in 10 days. The service was absolutely perfect and the food delicious, what ever you choose. The settings inside and outside are splendid. We were lucky to find this place that we ignore in the past.

Walked in during Sunday evening without reservation, luckily got the table Server was very knowledgeable about my vegetarian good preference Suggested good salad and ravioli stuffed with cheese and served with corn in brown sage butter Was excellent and would repeat same dish again The food quality, presentations and service was excellent and would recommend to visit often

We had an extraordinary dinner at Culina. The food and the service were wonderful. It's expensive and very good cuisine. I had octopus and lamb, both of which were excellent. It's a lovely room and very relaxing. It's not a loud scene so you really can sit and talk over dinner. I would love to go there again.

I like to seat outdoors. Monday was like 90 degrees. It was a beautiful breakfast place. Had a great avocado sandwich coffee grapefruits. Great relaxing athmosphir to start off your day.

Limited menu includes some pasta, fish and even pizza and meat. The prices were high and the atmosphere was ruined by the loud, pulsating "backround" music. When we asked if it could be turned down we were told that they had to " protect the ambience of the restaurant". It was a Friday night and there were very few tables filled.

I had a great meal here that had a fabulous dish that was Italian inspired. The salad was unique. My server was extremely helpful in my food selection and also in recommending an excellent wine. I was traveling by myself and I was made very comfortable.

My husband And I got married at the Beverly Hills Courthouse and went to Culina to celebrate. It was perfect. We sat on the enclosed patio, which had heat lamps and was a lovely choice on a cool but sunny day. The service was gracious, friendly and attentive, the meal delicious. I had the RC salad with lobster, crab, shrimp and avocado and he had the pork belly pizza. Both were excellent. The restaurant gave us a complimentary dessert and we topped it off with two glasses of Pommery. A ideal lunch to celebrate our wedding.

We rate the Four Seasons chain of hotels highly and felt confident to eat in Culina However the service at dinner was very slow for a weekday night. The menu was extremely ordinary .... we ordered the Sea bass but it came with very little of the advertised vegetables and the wait staff never offered us or suggested we had accompanying vegetables. So a very bare entree Lunch on the terrace of the same restaurant was equally poor for a top class hotel. The chicken taco was gelatinous with fat and flavourless ..The accompanying pickles looked old. An unappetising plate of food and we have enjoyed many Taco's before so it was not a new dish to us. Our after dinner coffee bitter and undrinkable After these two meals we shall eat elsewhere for our remaining four nights

Culina has a lovely setting, relaxing, cool and comfortable. The food is good considering this is in a hotel and because of that the atmosphere is slow down, de-stress type ambiance and that's good after being out all day in the City of Angels. If you're looking for romance come here in the evenings. It's beautiful.

We were staying at the Four Seasons and popped down for dinner on a Saturday night. It was fantastic service from the start, with great wine choices but unfortunately we did not enjoy any of our meals. We had two starters and shared a entree and all three dishes were disappointing. The flavors on the crudo did not work, the grilled octopus (normally always my favorite dish) was served with bland luke warm beans and was only okay. We then shared a squid ink pasta which was barely warm and only okay. We really wanted a creme brulee for dessert and our waitress was kind enough to get it from the other kitchen (room service menu I think?) and give it to us to take up to our room - it was the stand out of the night. I believe the bar has a different menu to Culina - I would recommend dining there instead.

We had two outstanding meals at this restaurant. The dinner was one of the best I have ever had, and my wife had the same opinion. Breakfast was very pricey, but it was delicious. Be prepared to spend a lot for dinner and drinks!

This is a very well earned review Renee Joel and Angus... made the dinner start studded Erin from the front made it possible The food was amazing, service is five star. This is the place to "feel" that you are important. Wyatt from the valet service - is device with a smile

This brunch was luxurious. We were seated outside next to the waterfall and it was a spectacular table. While it is a buffet, the service was highly attentive and impeccable. They have everything from a lavish fresh seafood and sushi spread to your standard brunch fare like an omelette bar. Additionally, there was a children's section, vegan options, gluten free options and fresh pasta. This brunch is an occasion to indulge, come on a cheat day....you likely will not eat for the rest of the day.

Great Food. Great Service. A Winner. Great Food. Great Service. A Winner. Great Food. Great Service. A Winner. Great Food. Great Service. A Winner.

Recently received a coupon and decided to give it a try. Was VERY pleased! We were sat at a quiet table on the patio. The service was exceptional -just the right level of attention. I felt spoiled, like a wealthy person at home with a staff who knew me. The food was SOOO good. I can't recall better Italian food in LA, in a while. We tried a few appetizers, salad, pasta, and main. Wine, too, was nicely paired. We will definitely return.

After searching online for good dinner options in Beverly Hills we came across Culinas at the four seasons. We made an open table reservation and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was great and we asked for a terrace seat. The weather was beautiful and we were sat right next to the fire water features. The service was very attentive and he food delicious. We had the sea bass and the New York strip. Both were amazing and are highly recommended!

Culina is in the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. It's got a great vibe and excellent Italian food. Although, it is in a top notch hotel, the restaurant is not pretentious, and the service we have gotten has always been excellent. If they have it on the menu, I recommend the branzino; it is fresh and outstanding. A simple preparation that lets you savor the taste of the fish, without it being over dressed in sauces. The pastas are also very good, cooked to perfection, unless you prefer al dente; then you have to request it. Culina is a special occasion restaurant, not a trattoria, but it is highly recommended.

•One of the hostesses is actually friendly, but most are overly stiff and formal. •The Food runners are very nice, (much more pleasant than most of the actual servers). •The bacon was perfectly crisped when I asked for it that way. •Servers are generally grumpy and inattentive. (To be fair, they DO have to deal with the particularly entitled and uptight clientele.) •The music is the worst kind of pseudo-smooth jazz/clubby ripoff sound alike songs, played entirely too loud. Crappy music, or low volume - not both, please. •The pancakes were rubbery, even slathering them with butter didn't help with the dryness. •It took 30 minutes to get them to ring me up. (It wasn't even half full). All in all, it would be fine if the prices were half what they are, but this is a bit of a triumph of style over substance.

Great innovative Tacos! Margritas also well prepared! We have been there three times, and were not disappointed

A special occasion brought us to this place and it was truly an experience of good, comfortable fine dining. A party of 16 afforded us a private dining room beautifully furnished and well decorated. Service was top notch with a drink before dinner. We dined in a long table which perfectly accommodated all 16 guests. We had sald for starters and it was very good and healthy. For the main course I had the prime rib eye steak wondering why it was described as so. I wasn't disappointed not even a bit. The steak was cooked and flavored perfectly to anybody's taste , especially mine, that I had complete recovery from a recent disappointing experience with a steak dinner at a higher-end well known restaurant. Good dinner equals good medicine to overcome a disappointment. My wife had the sea bass likewise deliciously cooked to perfection. Dessert was as impressive and after dinner we left the place like contended cows (the Angus or Kobe type). Valet parking is a must but we were given tickets to cover for the cost. We even got to glance at a celebrity who happened to be at the bar.

Had breakfast, lunch and diner several days during our stay. Excellent staff, good food and good variety of drinks.

What an absolutely wonderful dinner, the 5 year anniversary tasting menu was delicious. We also ordered the a la carte seppia pasta dish w/ bottarga, which was not prepared well so I took off a star. Our service was perfect.

We recently went to Culina for the friends and family night and we absolutely loved it. The gentleman that took us to our table was very nice and made the effort to engage our kids. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. We ordered a couple pasta dishes to share and the burrata pizza. The dishes are simple but delicious. There was also live music with made our experience even better.

Very disappointed with the service of this fine restaurant and with it’s adjacent bar. My wife and I had dinner there this evening, Friday 1/26 before going to see Aladdin at the Pantages. First of, we got there early, ( open @6pm ) and decided to have a drink at the bar next to the restaurant. The one leading to the Restaurant. First the cocktail waitress served us drinks which costs $18/drink didn’t even place a cocktail napkin on our drinks. WTF??i had to walk to the bar and ask for one. My wife had a Pina Coloda (so so) and I had 7&7 which was crappy, and they did not use seven up with my Seagram. Now to think the waitress could have informed me but instead serve it to me anyway and without cocktail napkins. Awful. 😡 Now the Restaurant. First the food. My wife ordered the Seabass (8/10) and I orders the ravioli (0/10) awful tooooo salty. Thanks to the Manager, he offered to replace it with chicken ( which I took home to go) That’s 5/10. Sauce was yuck. Second, the Service, our waiter “m” was pleasant but very slow to our needs . Was not very knowledgeable of the food as he did not even given us any suggestions on the food items as this was our first time. And, he did not offer a wine lists until I asked for it. Probably “m” is not an experience waiter. Third , we used our travel Zoo voucher for this dinner thinking this would be a nice dinner adventure before watching a show. Was very disappointed with the service to repeat. The other ancillary services such busboy were great and attentive to us. Lastly, the Coffee was weak. 😝 I gave it a three star bc of the ambiance and location but would not go back there again. I’ve eaten at FourSeasons restaurants before in Hawaii and Florida but this one disappoint me.

Great breakfast choice available. Relaxed atmosphere at dinner with excellent ravioli. Good wine list.

Stopped in for lunch. Wait staff excellent. Food excellent. Had a Watermelon salad that was delightfully refreshing and not too heavy. Perfect for a light afternoon lunch. Watermelon tequila was nice. Went down way too easy!! Could have stayed all afternoon! Very nice atmosphere. Carlos our waiter was superb. Would go again.

Beautiful restaurant Our server was very nice we order so many appetizers , all of them really good I order the squid ink pasta my husband the lamb shank and it was delicious Good time with friends

As a hotel restaurant we weren't expecting much. However, the service was excellent, the setting was beautiful, the food was amazing, the wine list was terrific, etc. I started with a burrata, and then followed it up with a Pollo a la Diavola (spicy chicken.) Awesome! Just the right mix of spice. Both my wife and I were thrilled with our meals. We sat on the terrace and recommend sitting outside (if its a nice day)

On January 2, 2016, my wife and I and 2 other couples went to Culina, a restaurant located in the Four Seasons Hotel on Doheny Drive. We were staying at the SLS Hotel on La Cienga, and it was a very nice walk of about a mile. We had reservations, which are recommended. The restaurant is warm and welcoming in terms of ambiance. It was just trendy enough but not so trendy that the effort to be trendy overwhelmed the decor. We had several dishes at our table. My wife and I both had the Branzino, a fish which was beautifully cooked, quite savory and well presented. One of our party had a pasta dish with sausage that she proclaimed the best pasta dish she had ever had, and sent inquiries into the kitchen on how it was done so she could attempt to replicate it at home. Tastes were given around the table and everyone loved it. In fact, everyone enjoyed their entree. My wife and I shared a burrata and tomato salad which was excellent. All of us particularly enjoyed the variety of breads which were placed on the table, especially the thin crispy version. Our experience was magnified by the server, a young lady named Jessica, who struck just the right touch of quiet unobtrusive server and engaging personality. She was free with suggestions, all of which turned out to be right on the mark. And at the end of the evening, although none of us wanted dessert of coffee, she brought to the table a glass apiece of a light Italian wine, since she had sensed that our gathering was a celebration although we had not announced it as such. She was right - we were celebrating my wife's successful battle against cancer, and the lovely and thoughtful touch of the wine made our evening even more special. I made a point when we left of asking for the manager and telling him how wonderful Jessica had been. The price was well within expectations for a restaurant of this level in this location. With two bottles of wine, the tab came to well under $100/person. We enjoyed the visit very much and will no doubt go back.

It's in the Four Seasons Hotel so it was a perfect location for us. Great music, food and ambiance. It's a combination of Italian food. I had a reinvented Tiramisu and you know what? I loved it! have eat there more that 10 times. Always a great choice!

Loved our sunday brunch here. The buffet has so many items it is difficult to list, but, everything from shrimp, to pasta, to eggs, to waffles, etc. Service was very good, and i highly reccomend it.

So how I remembered there was a new chef at Culina. So we decided to go. What a fantastic meal...My wife had a pasta dish and ask if it would be ok to have black truffles on it...Not only yes but the Chef came out to shave them on her plate...This attention to detail was on every dish, we ordered..Our server was attentive and such a fresh positive attitude...going back soon

Very Romantic Has outdoor seating area . Their pizza was amazing Loved the food and the ambiance was lovely second to none . Highly Recommended!!!!

Too tired after a long flight to go for dinner so we 'ate in'! Stated with the meatball appetizer which was 2 fairly large meatballs. Tasty and delicious. Yum. I had the lasagne which was also delicious and my wife went for an appetizer portion of spaghetti, to which she added the meatballs. Dessert was 3 small, scoops,of delicious ice cream.

Stayed at the hotel and stopped here for a quick bite at the bar - the crudo is super fresh and melt in your mouth, traveled solo and felt comfortable at the bar on my own.

I had planned a special surprise birthday brunch at Culina for my partner, and was so glad that I did! From the moment we arrived (when the valet opened the door) and throughout our visit, every single employee that we came in contact with was warm, kind and gracious. Truly a Four Seasons experience! The restaurant itself offers both in-door and out-door seating and we were seated inside (which was our preference since it can get rather warm outside). We had the most wonderful server. Her name was Lily and she really took good care of us! Please thank her again for me! The food offerings were unbelievable. There was no way that you could have tried everything. They had breakfast as well as lunch offerings some of which included: Prime rib, lamb, different varieties of sushi, dim sum, fresh made waffles, eggs Benedict, an omelet station, a section for the little kids/kids at heart! A huge desert station, and way way more! They start to take the food displays down around 3pm so you want to make reservations for no later than 130pm. The cost was $85 per person. We will definitely return!

Food is delicious, but over $100 for two for simply juice and coffee and one main dish each (not even fruit) is over the top. Even in Beverly Hills.

Culina serves brunch every Sunday, but on special occasions (Father's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving and more) the restaurant grows exponentially. We were greeted with 4 or maybe 5 rooms overflowing with buffet tables featuring every kind of food imaginable; egg dishes, pastries, carving stations, sushi, raw bars, hot entrees, salads, desserts, ice cream with hot fudge and caramel sauces and even a special, extremely adorable, low buffet table for kids. Needless to say, we were impressed. Not only was the display of food remarkable, but the quality was excellent. Our servers were very attentive and very nice. Food was replenished so quickly and even individual requests were met with a polite "of course". This brunch extravaganza was pricey and wine and cocktails were charged separately, but it was well worthwhile. We will definitely return on any given Sunday for a delightful "regular" brunch.

Such a beautiful room. Great staff. But the quality of the food has really gone down. A pity. Hot Appetizers served cold. Risotto too soupy. Desert slightly better. We ate here for many years. We'll probably go back again to see if it improves.

Let's start with the positives: •One of the hostesses is actually friendly. (The other one had the personality of an android) •The "Muscle Power" smoothie (they call it an "elixir" - please... ) is really tasty! •In general (from previous experiences), their smoothies are great. •The people that bring out the food are very nice, (way more pleasant than the actual servers). •The bacon was perfectly crisped when I asked for it that way. And now for the not-so-positives: •Server didn't know the difference between "cream" and "milk" (for your coffee). •The main servers seem to be wound tighter than a two-dollar watch. •The music is the worst kind of pseudo-smooth jazz or clubby ripoff sound alike songs, played entirely too loud. I could probably tolerate the volume if the music itself weren't so egregious, •I said, "I'll be ready to order in a few minutes", and then didn't see my server again for 25 minutes (it was not even near busy) *The outdoor patio is an acoustic nightmare. It should be quieter (as they normally are), but the construction materials and design make the the sound bounce around inside rather than going out into the air. So if patrons talk loud (as, being Beverly Hills, they are prone to do) •The pancakes were rubbery, even slathering them with butter didn't help with the dryness. •It took 30 minutes to get them to ring me up. All in all, avoid this place if you can. It would be fine if the prices were half, but this is just chintzy, a triumph of style over substance.

Pricey but worth it. Coffee outstanding. Shakshouka done really well with great bread. Avocado toast. Variety of healthy options.

Everything is great!! Margherita Pizza is delicious!! whatever you order you wont be dissapointed. All my visits to LA have to include a visit to Culina.

The food was very plain and average, overpriced. The manager followed the customer out of the restaurant and was aggressive. It was the most uncomfortable situation we ever had. The waitress and bus boy were unprofessional.

We ate dinner here one night after having exhausted ourselves at Universal Studios. My hubby and I shared a Caesar salad and I had the lasagne which was so delicious. Husband had an individual pizza that was very tasty. Wait staff is very attentive and the room was welcoming. A bit pricey, but it was worth it.

We sat at the Windows Lounge and had a few drinks while hoping to see celebrities. It was a fun way to pass some time in a beautiful lounge with great service in a 5 star hotel.

Beautiful decor with wonderful flowers and plants, tableware and ambiance. Lovely restaurant environment. My salad was lovely and my friend had a fabulous hamburger and fries. Really good food. Had a lovely Cosmo. Great place to relax and chat and look about. Lobby of Hotel is just beautiful!!!!!!

Culina is a beautiful little spot in the Four Seasons Hotel. The food was exceptional! The staff superb! Terrific for a special evening or intimate celebration.

Before you sit down, be aware that Culina is not cheap. They make up for it by providing you with excellent service and food to die for. I recommend the short ribs - it melts in your mouth. The dessert (chockolate cake) was amazing.

Don't go. We stayed here before travelling back home. Having had some great food in Pebble Beach this was a real letdown. We had driven in from Pebble Beach and were hungry as we had missed lunch. We asked the concierge to book us a nice restaurant for our last night. She booked an Asian fusion restaurant but we needed to drive there - no problem as the hotel car would take us. She booked for 7.15 (it was 7pm) as it was only a short drive. When we got to the front of the hotel, she hadn't booked the hotel car and it was going to be 15mins minimum, so we had to push the meal back. Then it was going to be a few minutes more. Whilst we were waiting we looked at Culina menu and decided to stay there for speed, having checked that they had dairy free options and gluten free pasta, which, although I am not gluten intolerant, I prefer. The server was a little flippant and brusque, but he did check the dietary options and although I couldn't have the meatballs as they were mixed with Parmesan, I could have a plain tomato and basil spaghetti which I really fancied, having not had pasta whilst in California. My partner ordered the same but with the meatballs. I asked twice to confirm it was spaghetti. When it arrived it was not spaghetti, it was penne. I really didn't want penne but didn't want my partner, who was hungry, to have to wait for non-gluten free spaghetti to cook. So we said we would eat the dish. The server should however, have checked that the dish (on the menu as spaghetti) was actually spaghetti in its gluten free form, as I had specifically asked him to check and he said he had. After I complained, he admitted he hadn't checked and should have but the chef had recently changed the gluten free option from spaghetti to penne and he wasn't aware. Pasta aside, the sauce was perhaps the worst tomato based sauce I have ever tasted. It had no taste and apart from one solitary basil leaf, I never tasted any basil at all. My partner said there were some small bits but you couldn't taste it. It had no depth of flavour and was I couldn't believe it was not a pre-made sauce as it would have been hard to make a proper tomato-based sauce with so little flavour. I have never tasted a pre-made sauce as I always make my own, but this was how I imagine it to be. The sauce was also quite thick as though it had been thickened with something - horrible and gloopy. I ate the pasta as I was hungry but left some of the sauce as it was tasteless. The chef came out and asked how we liked the meal. To be fair he said he would cook it again but the sauce was authentic Italian, as was he and made with Italian tomatoes shipped in from Naples. I obviously can't call him a liar, but Italian tomatoes are usually very tasty (having been many times) and if they were brought in from Naples then we must have had a bad batch! Anyhow it spoiled our last night and the server didn't even offer to not charge us - he knocked off the price of one glass of wine. That would never happen in the UK, we would not have been charged. Very poor customer service. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The worst we have eaten in since arriving here and the worst Italian meal I have ever had. It spoiled our last night.

Located inside the Four Seasons hotel. Inside and outside dining available. Great presentation and food quality. Restaurant prices are according to the location(Beverly Hills). Check out TravelZoo for special dining promotions.

We (my daughter (12), and two friends (one adult and one child (10)) had booked for the Christmas Day buffet at the Culina. Upon arrival we were asked to wait a few minutes in the lobby. It was packed but staff came around with appetizers for those waiting. When it was time to be shown to our table we did three loops through the restaurant and all its rooms as the hostess didn’t seem to know which table we should be seated at – the one she had in mind was already taken! We stayed in good spirits but it felt a bit disorganised. Plus, the restaurant was SO busy it was difficult to keep our little party together. In the end we were seated in a little patio area which was nice and a bit quieter than the actual restaurant but it was also a bit colder (in spite of the heaters). In any case, we started getting our food which in fairness was of exceptional quality! The choice was great and everything tasted delicious. What was slightly underwhelming were others in the restaurant who were in joggers and trainers or ripped jeans. It just made it feel less special. Also – there were a fair few queues when it came to the food which made it feel a bit like an all-inclusive hotel in Fuerteventura which wasn’t what I had hoped for. The service was good from a young gentleman who in part looked after us. The slightly older lady who was the ‘head waitress’ for our table was happy to overlook empty plates which again made it feel like an all-inclusive hotel in Fuerteventura (no disrespect to Canary Island hotels!). I would have expected more from the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills to be honest. What really got me though at the end was the fact that we were charged $6 per can of diet coke – and we had five of those between the four of us – so $30 in fizzy drinks! Every Denny’s in the land offers free refills on fizzy drinks so why we were nickel-and-dimed on a $200 meal I do not understand. In order for me to go back for Christmas Day I’d like to see the following changes: Include non-alcoholic drinks in the all-in price or at least only charge once; more attentive service at the table; manage queues better; introduce a minimum dress-code standard. It was an experience and you couldn’t knock the food but the rest of it was underwhelming.

Lovely food, great service in a relaxed atmosphere. We ate in the covered conservatory and thoroughly enjoyed the evening

Recently had dinner at Culina at the FS Beverly Hills. It was a Sunday evening and fairly quiet. Although the food was pretty good the pace of service was way way too quick. There were just the two of us and we had ordered a bottle of wine and planned to have a pleasant leisurely evening. Unfortunately the appetizers came within 3 minutes of ordering and the entrees came immediately after the appetizer plates had been removed. Start to finish in 20 minutes , which may be good if you want a quick business lunch but which is ridiculous for a dinner. The server just seemed incapable of pacing the meal.

I have never felt so disrespected at a restaurant in my entire life. This is not the kind of service you could expect at IHOP or Denny's - especially not at the Four Seasons. My family and I decided to go out for breakfast and we decided to go to Culina at the Four Seasons. I've visited a few times for drinks in the evening so I expected their usual, fantastic service. We were seated at a booth across from the windows at around 8:15 a.m. After we had our meal and the waiter took the check, we were enjoying the pleasant ambiance and drinking our coffee and tea. The restaurant was not crowded at all; there were maybe only four other tables occupied. This woman approached our table. She was not dressed professionally as other staff were and had disheveled appearance/hair so I thought she was a restaurant guest at first. She offered to take the customer copy of the bill off our table and we were very confused because she should not have asked this - it was the customer copy. I still do not know who she is when she immediately says that another party had "reserved" our booth for 9:00 a.m. and we had to get up. I was really shocked. She offered a meek, insincere apology and then offered to move us to another table. She was VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Totally ruined our mood. We were not able to finish our tea and coffee and felt hurt by the fact that this woman literally got rid of us after barely being seated for 45 minutes. She was so unprofessional and seemed surprised that we were upset after being asked to get up so another party could have our table. I have never been treated like this at Denny's or IHOP and cannot accept that the Four Seasons could be like this. I do not know why they sat us at this booth when it was reserved by another party. An establishment that treats one party as being more important than other is not one I can visit again. So long as you are a paying customer, you should be treated properly and fairly. When you make a reservation at some other restaurants, your reservation confirmation includes language like "we allow two hours per table" or something like that but this was not the case here. She should not have asked us to leave after 45 minutes when we were still drinking our coffee. She could have seated the other party (by the way, we did not see anyone in the waiting area by Vinoteca) at any other available table or told them that their requested booth was occupied. The party at the booth next to ours was seated about ten minutes before they asked us to get up so I am not sure why they did not save this booth for the party with the "reservation." Weird and extremely rude. The other waitstaff were professional and friendly and the food was fine but this woman ruined it all. There are lots of nice hotels nearby and Beverly Hills is just five minutes away. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME (OR MONEY) HERE.

I had a business meeting there in the evening so we sat at the bar and had some excellent appetizers. The bartender last night was excellent...one of the best I've had in awhile. The tuna tartar was wonderful and the focaccia bread surprisingly different like a pesto grilled cheese was delicious and worth a try. I wish I had gotten a picture of the rest of our food...next time. The DJ was great and wine was excellent. Overall everything from the food to the employees was a great experience.

Such an amazing restaurant with an incredible atmosphere. Our server Jorge was extremely lovely, attentive and friendly. Me and my mum had the açai bowl and it was so tasty!

Had pretty much all our meals here during our stay. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Great food and drinks aswell.

Best pancakes and hot chocolate 🍫 I loved my egg white frittata with Turkey sausage it was divine. My kids were so happy and would definitely come back maybe for dinner 🥘

At breakfast we loved the fresh juices and blends they allowed us to get (ie Watermelon & Mint). We also really enjoyed the fresh pasta for dinner. Something that really impressed me was that at the next table a couple of people were discussing a magazine story with a fairly famous person and the wait staff treated us as nicely as the table next to us. I really appreciated that.

Sunday Buffet Brunches are rare these days, but the Four Seasons continues to impress. We have enjoyed coming here for years...Mother's Day, Easter and more. This past Sunday we had another extraordinary meal enhanced by our favorite waiter, Jorge. Always attentive with a warm smile and pleasant demeanor. I would also like to thank Chantal for her hospitality and making this past brunch special!

We went here for dinner on a Friday night. The weather was great so we sat outside. Our waitress Sonja was very friendly and very capable. The food was excellent as were the cocktails. Thumbs up!

Not pretentious but very good upscale eatery located in the Four Seasons hotel on the first floor. Has its own entrance, but if you didn’t see that when you drive up to valet (not sure there is another option) your car, it’s hard to find, but if you snake your way all the way through the bar, you’ll find it. We had a lovely table outdoors by a waterfall, which mostly but not entirely shields the vehicle noise on the other side of the wall. Service was not quite up to standard for the price paid...server for example, stood in one spot reaching over each of us to pour water. When I asked for a knife, it came quickly but with his fingerprints rather than on a napkin. Shared the risotto with beef for a starter, which was too wet, soggy and didn’t have much flavor, not to mention was skimpy on the beef. But, thoroughly enjoyed a perfectly cooked branzino which was accompanied by lovely delicate tiny vegetable medley in a light sauce. Presentation lovely and ample (two large pieces) and quality excellent. Cappuccino after dinner not bitter and good, but bland, too, and while we didn’t have dessert, a few nibbles on cookies or something would have been nice. Good wine list. Bread in a paper bag with a few breadsticks looked attractive but also pretty skimpy. Should be a bit more refined, but food is a good bet.

Nice resaurant with good weekend breakfast menu. Service is attentive. Nice newspaper selection to relax with over breakfast and put the phone down.

I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel for a business meeting and ate in the Culina restaurant twice; once for lunch (with 2 others) and once for dinner (with a group of 30 in a private section of the outdoor patio. The food quality was uneven and the service was sub-standard for a Four Seasons restaurant. At lunch I enjoyed a warm lentil salad with assorted seafood that was well prepared and tasty. However, the service was inattentive and very slow. We were asked for drink orders twice by two different servers (the first person to take the orders vanished) and both the food and beverage order deliveries were quite delayed. Getting the check and credit card processed also took considerable attention getting effort. That evening the dinner (for 30) also had slow service from a limited menu. That may be understandable, given the size of the group, but it seemed endemic across lunch (for 3) and dinner. The evening meal was not very appealing. The salad and the pasta course (risotto with peas) were okay, but my entree (Bistecca - 12 Oz. Dry Aged Rib Eye, Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes, Shallots, Parmigiano Reggiano) was awful. The steak was very thin and tough (despite being ordered medium rare). It was covered with a mix of tomatoes and shallots in a sauce that had a heavy salty balsamic taste. If I were dining as an individual (rather than in a group) I'd have sent it back. Overall: the food was over-rated and the service underwhelming (especially at lunch).

Sadly ….Very disappointed with the Sunday BRUNCH. Poorly, very expensive, poor quality, no flavor in their plates and the service was really bad the waitress stink and smell really bad and the hostesses attitude was so rude and very bad manners. I’ve been going to this brunch for years and always was amazing. They have lowered their standards in service and quality. Will never go back.

For $100 per person + you can eat very well Staff is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Great salads, vegetables, pasta. Northern Italian and American food.

Fun and Festive night at the hotel. We ate early so we were not there for the after party and dancing. Prix Fixe Menu choices were not as expansive as we would have liked, but regular dinner nights it is much better

I ordered to go so I could eat in my room while working. I ordered the Salmon Toast with a poached egg. The description stated it came with capers, radishes, cream cheese, charred tomatoes...sounds yummy. Except I did not get any of those things....nor did I get Salmon. I got ham and two fresh tomato slices on my bread. Also 4 small whole potatoes. I had a virtual call in 15 minutes and only had enough time to eat, before jumping in there. So I made the best of it. I did not eat the ham (watching sodium) and one of the potatoes was rotten inside. My eggs were good and the bread was delicious. Will give them another try at some point, but for now I cannot recommend.

I say this from the perspective of someone who was born and raised in Italy, and still lives there part of the year. Any relationship between their food and true Italian cuisine (modern or traditional) is tangential, at best. Not that it was bad food, but if you are expecting the flavors of Italy, you will be disappointed. I would classify this more as California Cuisine. The panzanella prepared with pattypan squash was creative, but it didn't work. The texture of the squash and the olives made it unpleasant on the palate. A special of tuna tartare was quite nice - refreshing and crisp, with obviously high-quality fish. Grilled sausage was a huge disappointment. Overcooked and dry, it really didn't do much. And the sides of flourescent green pickle relish and candied peanuts did nothing for the dish. Ravioli was ok, but we felt it needed more flavor in the sauce that was white, creamy and bland. A special of chicken piccata risotto got a thumbs up from the person who ordered it. We enjoyed a great bottle of their Pratello Marzemino Poderi Ogaria 2006, which at $60 was fairly priced. (It retails for about $25) The wine list had a few gems, but beware the pricing, as many were grossly inflated. The space itself is lovely, and unlike many LA restaurants, was not overly noisy. We were able to converse over dinner without having to shout, a rarity in this city! Service was quite good. Knowledgable, attentive but not intrusive. Not sure I would add this to my "repeat visit" list, in general,

While i am usually found at The Blvd, Beverly Wilshire, this year the family enjoyed Christmas brunch at Culina inside the Four Seasons Los Angeles Hotel. It would be impossible to list all the amazing offerings, but I do want to single out the dessert area and the fabulous Executive Pastry Chef, Federico Fernandez—simply could not believe the variety and unbelievably tasty treats. I understand that some make reservations for this brunch months in advance. So if you’re in LA at Christmas, this is the best brunch offering in the city. If I’m in LA next year, I’ll hope to see you there. Enjoy!!

Excellent varied menu, really enjoyed my meal and the great service. Wait staff was very helpful and dining was a pleasure

We had such a hard time deciding where to dine since we were from out of town and not familiar with the area. We were so pleased to have a romantic evening seated at the bar area. The food was fantastic! We started with an antipasti platter with cured meats and cheeses, had the freshest salad, and enjoyed a beautiful wild boar pasta dish. Our server (we never knew her name) was most excellent, professional, attentive, and very pleasant. The gentleman who was at the raw bar in front of us was expedient and friendly upon delivering our antipasti. He used an old-fashioned meat slicing machine, which was interesting to watch. We would recommend to friends and also return!

The food is very fresh and very well made. Outdoor dining is available for lunch or dinner on the beautiful patio.

Looking forward to returning to this restaurant where the people and the food exceeded my expectations. The women seating us and working with us on the menu could not have been nicer and friendlier. The food was amazing. I simply get the fact that all of these people like what they are doing. I am a visitor to LA and I cant wait to return to a new standard for me.

Wonderful experience and attention, a menu with delights. On our 6th wedding anniversary, in the heart of Beberlly Hills, we enjoyed the excellent Italian cuisine as well as the great starter (Scalopi, which is not a beef .... Of course), selection of drinks, dessert with a nice detail, an extraordinary selection of drinks. The sublime attention. From the reception to the maitre, and the waiters

Breakfast was good. I had a truffel pizza but this was too dry. It is better to add some salad or olive oil to the pizza. The taste was good however. Had better pizza's in other restaurants.

We stayed at the hotel and payed for the b&b package which includes 90 dollars per room daily, not even that was enough! Its sooo expensive it will make you mad, I had to pay an extra 90 dollars daily which I wouldn’t mind if it was great, but sadly it isn’t, it’s just mediocre! Find attached a photo of my 25 dollar fruit plate, pathetic!! Don’t waste your money, just go somewhere else.

WOW! What a fantastic restaurant. Firstly our server Danielle was absolutely incredible. We’ve been in America for the last 2 weeks and she was the best server we have had by FAR! Danielle was super friendly, so lovely and intelligent and couldn’t be more helpful. She organised a glass of fizz and a cake for our honeymoon surprise which was amazing. The setting of the restaurant was also stunning and the food was great! Would 100% recommend when in LA!!

This bar is very upscale with beautiful decor, plenty of space to sit and excellent service. Happy hour is 6-8 pm Mon-Fri. and they have an excellent array of craft beers, interesting seasonal cocktails, great wines, and their own lemoncello which is the best I have ever tasted. The bar food is made up of Venetian tapas and you can order from the regular menu in the bar, which also includes some interesting pizza selections. Bartenders very service oriented.

Everything you wanted in a Sunday brunch buffet, and more. This amazing selection of beautifully prepared foods comes with a heavy price, but it is worth it.

Three times eating here, three times delighted. The ribeye is beyond belief - delicious, succulent, you can cut it with a fork! Everything was so fresh and beautifully prepared. Service is a standout as well.

This may be a long review but worth it… This is where large companies need to hear the truth… I attended the Christmas dinner at La Culina this year as I have many years in the past and was highly disappointed by the lies and the deceitfulness of the staff and management. This is not just a review of the food but a review of the overall team that works at the restaurant and the management that runs the hotel. One week prior to Christmas I received a call telling me that I needed to sign a DocuSign prior to having a table of 8 people for the Christmas dinner. In past years I never needed to do that. Upon getting the contract I noticed that the price had gone up almost $70 per person to $250 per person from the year prior. I then called the restaurant management and spoke to Miguel. We had a fairly long conversation in reference to why such a drastic increase in price. He explained that it would be a much larger and more extravagant event this year, and that there would be lobster and caviar added to the menu which would compensate for the increase. I accepted his word that the event was going to be bigger and better than ever. I then called to the assistant general manager of the hotel, Richard, and spoke to him as well who strangely explained the same reason why the price had gone up from previous years so drastically, and he explained that there would be lobster and caviar to make it more of an event. He also explained to me that there were complaints last year that people said there were just too many people at the event, and that they wanted to minimize the size of the crowd, so they raised the prices in order to have less people there and to weed out the type of people they don’t want there. Upon my arrival at the restaurant and being seated at our table I noticed immediately that there were very few tables compared to last year, about one third of the tables as the previous year, and the room was not decorated as it was several years in the past. Several huge tables stayed vacant throughout our whole event from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It is more than obvious that they lost a tremendous amount of their reservations. When we went to get our food and began to look at the displays of food, there were many many dishes that were no longer available at the buffet. It had dwindled down tremendously. They put the Chinese hot food outside in the cold wind, so all that food was cold. I mentioned it to management, and I mentioned it to the servers that were standing there and later went back to see if anything had changed but nothing had changed. The food was still out in the cold. The desserts from previous years were extensive and there were many varieties, this year there were several desserts repeated over the counter several times, no variety. The display for the seafood and sushi was tiny compared to previous years, the salads went from 12 to 15 types from previous years to 5, there were no stations for Mexican food Or Italian food as in previous years, and definitely no lobster and caviar as promised. My server was confused by my request of where the lobster and caviar were. I spoke with the general manager who came to my table, and we discussed all these previous issues that were discussed with Richard and Miguel. He was shocked by the issues and seemed very concerned. Then Miguel came over and had a conversation with me as well but could not explain his previous conversation with me about how this Christmas dinner was going to be so much better than previous years, and also could not explain why he mentioned lobster and caviar as one of the reasons why the restaurant is charging $250 per person. He tried to get me off the subject each time I mentioned it but did not deny that he said it. I have not heard any news about why Richard also said the same thing. After having a horrible experience of being lied to and seeing the event be half the size it used to be but being charged more for the event, I called to the hotel manager, Esther Oh, to discuss all the issues that happened. Esther was very nice and pleasant through our whole conversation and everything that I know to be true was explained to her. As she explained she has only been there for two years and is not aware of years prior. We went through a long conversation, and she had offered to refund my dinner for $250.00, only my dinner, I had a table of eight. And then offered for me to come in for Sunday brunch complementary of the hotel. I explained to her that my Christmas was ruined because the food was not up to par, there were less options than ever before, and the food was cold, and actually there was less food than their normal Sunday brunches prior to the pandemic. She would not have been aware of that because she was not at the hotel at the time. She apologized for her staff and all the lies and deceitfulness that came from them but did not give me an explanation for the lies. I then explained that I was not happy that it was just my dinner that was taken care of, that there should have been more done since my Christmas was ruined by so many levels of management. She felt that what she did was more than appropriate for all the issues that had arisen. I did not agree with her, being a good customer for many years. I think it’s appalling that management, at least two of them, lied directly to me about the price and the type of products they were going to serve to make me sign a contract for $250 per person in order not to lose another reservation. How is it possible that such a lie was spread throughout the hotel staff and still no one can explain these lies? I will never go back to this hotel ever again, even though I have been going for many many years. Check out comments on OpenTable from others who agree...

The sashimi-like crudités dish had a strong odor of fishiness and the flavor was a bit bland. Otherwise our 15th anniversary dinner was very pleasant. Excellent, friendly service. Lovely indoor/outdoor setting. Simple menu generally well prepared.

Absolutely beautiful display of food I've ever see,. This buffet has everything, including a healthy juice bar. From the moment to walk into the foyer and see the breathtaking floral display to when you pick up your first plate, you will be captivated by this place

Staying at the Four Seasons hotel, we had dinner for the first evening. Service as well as the food were beneath the minimal expectations. The worst was a branzino: you could not be sure this was fish!

Located about 5 minutes from Beverly Hills in the Four Seasons, Culina is an outstanding example of perfect dinning experience. Hotel Valet free and easy entrance. The atmosphere is romantic and little hip with a low level buzz. The service is so outstanding, thank you Rene. We had 2 healthy salad starters and the summer farm salad was so perfect, fresh and locally grown. The Risotto with short rib garnish was one of best anywhere, the Salmon was perfectly cooked and pink - the lasagna was home made and creative. Now dessert was well balanced and not to exotic for us - Tiramisu was light and just sweet enough. A little small to share but we were satisfied. The wine list is expensive but well presented. We brought our own and staff decanted the wine, kept it in the wine cabinet while we had cocktails. So professional and fun - $175 a couple with cocktail and corkage. Lots of local choices and fancier places in town but we will go back.

the Italian restaurant was so arrogant, I was not aware it has to make a reservation prior to show up. fine, I said sorry and the lady told me "OK, but u have to wait for 5 mins to clean up the table". Sure, I waited for over 15 mins and that was almost 8PM that day already but the reception just completely forgot me and my family. I have to walk to her to ask how about my table and she said "OK, but next time pls. reserve first". For the god sake, she was punishing me???!!! I got a young kid was hungry but has to wait longer for the damn table??? I said sorry for not making a reservation already since I did not know, as the time we arrived the hotel was 7PM already and we directly went down to the nearest restaurant to have a dinner. next one, the last day before we leave, I parked the car per the valet instruction but take a bit more secs to take out some stuff in the car, then there was a GL350 was flashing its headlight seems like she is taking a rocket launch in the next min.. the manager was very rude that he walked to me said "you have to move your car!". man, you guys told me to park here and now you asked me to move the car just because some stupid flashing the light? it just took about 30 secs to get things from the car and all of the people there seems extremely inpatient. I was wondering this is a US 5 starts hotel or not?????

Great authentic Italian in a fabulous hotel with lovely setting and great staff - what more can I say. Go , you won't regret it

Culina with Italian fare is a very good hotel restaurant. The food and service are first rate. The wine list is a bit limited and is expensive.

We love this place. Unfortunately our waiter didn't seem to care. I didn't know if I should give him a tip or a Zoloft. He had no personality and acted as if he would rather be anywhere else than at your lovely restaurant. Maybe he was having a bad night but that shouldn't be the diners concern. We left a standard 18% gratuity because device wasn't flawed in any way other than the dreadful attitude.

Great hotel Italian restaurant. Good service. Great Ambience. Had Carpacio with truffle and Tuscan ravioli.🔝

We went here for Christmas Brunch/Lunch. The food was very good quality and the range was amazing. I have been to many high end Christmas lunches and this was by far the best I have ever been to. The service was excellent, the decorations and ambience of the restaurant were amazing and the price of the buffet was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and if I did ever return to LA this would definitely be a place I would eat again.

I had two meals at Culina and they were both superb. The private evening meal was perfectly prepared, courses timed exactly right and again the service was amazing. Breakfast by myself was equally superb with the same level of service and good.

Normally I try and avoid hotel restaurants. There is nothing less exciting in my book than visiting a new city and not leaving the lobby of your hotel. But Culina is an exception - mostly because there are so many fun folks that eat there you get to eye ball some real heavy hitters. Two nights ago it was Larry Flynt but it seems like it is always someone. The fish at Culina is great. We ordered a number of Crudo starters - all delicious, light, fresh with interesting taste combos. The spinach and mushroom flat bread pizza was solid. The branzino was prefect. Light, fresh, beautifully filleted. The pasta however was not that good. I got the black ink - whole wheat pasta, Over sauced, slightly overcooked. Instead of individual lightly dressed strands of pasta the bowl instead seemed to be a mush or stew. The pappardelle bolognese wasn't that interesting and again seemed over sauced. Culina isn't cheap so I am less forgiving when the service is poor. Our server seemed to be brand new and still learning.

Inside and outdoor dining with comfort, definitely upscale, very romantic, great food, good service, large drink and food menu

Whenever you are going to a Four Seasons Hotel the expectations are always high. We decided to get away for a nice lunch and our experience was absolutely fabulous. The service and the food were outstanding. If you want to go into an environment that will make you forget life's frustrations I would recommend this place. It takes pampered to a new level even for Four Seasons.

Ok, it is inside/adjacent to the Four Seasons so the rent must be sky high; the food prices reflected that as well; enjoyed the Branzino entree but at $48, it is a lot...the gnocchi Con Ragu D'Agnello was excellent ($26) and my daughter had the Tortino Di Cavolfiore, we shared the Pomodoro ($20), burrata pasta ($28), Mashed potato ($12) and finally, Grandma Chocolate Cake (($16); Throw in 2 glasses of decent chardonnay ($36) and 1 glass of Brunello ($26)... ad it all up and $231 plus $21.37 tax before tip is out there for cost...the garden views while dining were spectacular, however, what with the water falls and heaters/lighting later...at sunset....

Amazing buffet with most anything you could want. The food was excellent and the service was great. This is an expensive buffet that does not include champagne with the price, but alcohol is available for purchase. They even have a buffet set up for children.

Wow! Rainy Friday evening- pre V dinner ❤️... from yellowtail crudo w/ Persimmon, branzino 🐟w/ fennel & finish of w/ butterscotch budino - just mine😋 Prime angus rib eye 💗 - perfecto😉

I love eating breakfast at Culina but the annoying part was service that was slow - C-orange and grapefruits sections my favorite - the pasta is very good as well.

What a gem this place is. Even if the food stunk, that incredible patio is reason enough to come. So the fact that the service was spectacular (Mike?) and the food was so fresh and delicious make this a must-go. Keep your eyes open for Groupon or TravelZoo deals, they really go a long way. Regardless, the place is reasonable consider the location and ambience. The meatballs are incredible, great starter. Chicken and mushrooms entree was terrific. Bravo.

We came here for a mid-week dinner to celebrate a birthday. It turned out to be a lovely dinner - overall location and ambiance, good food. Portions a bit uneven (mine for the baccala was on the small side whereas my hubby's meat/polenta dish was huge). Pizza was so-so, a bit doughy. Appetizers were fabulous as well as cocktails. We plan on going back - it'a a higher end place but we liked it enough to try it again.

Love the avocado sandwich / C citron sections We also love seating outside they have warmers. Service is always very good.

A fun night - drinks at the bar were relaxing and perfect and had some tasty appetizers and the pizza at dinner.

Located in the Four Seasons at Wilshire LA, it’s an amazing Italian restaurant. High class, well cooked dishes, selected and innovative flavours and surprising. Good attention from the waiters. Don’t miss the pumpkin risotto and the starter made of polenta, if they still have them (I don’t remember it’s name). Also the salmon tartar was really good, very tasty and well made. I don’t think there’s anything bad cooked in that restaurant, there’s a truffle pizza that looks delicious. Must give it a try, preparare your wallets though.

Wow! Great food, service and ambience. Sat outside near the water fountains and our service was grea. Made to feel very welcome and yge food recommendations were great. The chefs special rissotto was to die for. Would definitely go again for a special occasion.

A perfect dining experience in Los Angeles. The crudo is unforgettable. The tables are beautiful (a great setting), the servers are friendly and professional and the experience is quite flawless.

The restaurant is elegant, with attentive and helpful service, Italian dishes faithfully and expertly cooked according to the best Italian culinary tradition. fantastic lasagna but the vel chop (Cotoletta alla Milanese) is the best ever, perhaps even the cotoletta eaten in Milan. excellent presentation of the dishes. Definitely the best Italian restaurant in Los Angeles

Breakfast at Culina is a health nut's delight with fresh juices custom squeezed fresh to order from a sushi bar style menu. Service is good and the atmosphere lovely. Eggs are free range and Culina makes a genuine effort to offer healthy ingredients in all its menu choices. Coffee was perfectly made and served.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Culina. We sat inside at a perfect table with a lovely view of the outdoor patio and waterfall. There is something for everyone at this brunch - from the impressive seafood display to the traditional omelette bar - you will not be disappointed. My husband loved the eggs benedict and my favorite was the arugula and peach salad. The service was fabulous - the GM made sure to stop by our table to check on us and to wish us a happy anniversary. We were incredibly surprised when our server brought us dessert with “Happy Anniversary” written out in chocolate. It’s those little, yet so thoughtful things that really make and impression. Our brunch today at Culina was just perfect and just the right way to spend our anniversary.

Staying at the Four Seasons I hosted an end-of-visit dinner here and even threw an extra guest at the staff with just minutes to spare, but nothing was a problem and it made for a great finish to a busy week. The atmosphere - both inside and outside areas are available - was buzzy and informal yet the staff are quick, efficient and helpful whether it is suggestions on the menu or help with the wine list. They are also quick to respond to almost any request - though I was surprised it took three attempts to get iced water! The quality of the food here is excellent as you might expect but it is also delivered in generous portions that helps justify the Beverly Hills prices! The win lifestyle is particularly intriguing with some lesser known names both from the U.S. And abroad. I couldn't seen any reason not to go back again and again!

The outside patio is a romantic and cozy place, with a faux waterfall and several separate areas. Drinks are imaginative and change often. The best idea is to share multiple appetizers, because they are varied and creative. The bar is friendly and the staff is attentive. A total nice ambiance.

This Sunday brunch is the most lavish layout I’ve seen. We were seated outside next to the beautiful waterfall. Though it is a buffet, the service was impeccable and very attentive. There is an impressive seafood and sushi spread to the more traditional brunch fare like fresh pasta and an omelette bar. Additionally, there is a children’s section, plenty of vegan and gluten free options - wonderful for even the picky eaters. This is an indulgent brunch that will likely keep you full and dreaming about your experience for the rest of the day. The wonderful GM checked in on us to ensure all was well - it was fantastic. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

When the 4 Seasons first opened the restaurant in LA it was one of the best Italian places to eat in town. It helped that the 4 Seasons was smart enough to bring an incredible chef from italy. I think he lasted a year until he left and opened Gusto on 3rd st. The food is still good and service still really good but when the chef left some of the charm left with him.

Such a stunning and relaxing patio which made our dining experience that much better! Tho risotto was beyond amazing in taste and preparation and delivery method. I have never seen risotto brought to the table in a hollowed cheese block. I cannot describe the taste!! Also, the lasagna is the best I have ever had, period!! Can not say enough amazing things about this dinner!! Will definitely go back!!

The breakfasts are excellent offering an extensive menu of high quality dishes. Dinner is very good, but not WOW.

My wife, son and I were treated to a first class meal, amazing service and awesome table. Great ambiance, fabulous wine selection and everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. The beef tenderloin and salmon entrees were amazing. We are foodies and tend to be picky. Rarely do we gave better than 9 out of 10. Culina gets an 11 for there performance tonite.

We are foodies.....Culina used to be a favorite of ours, but expectations this time fell short. The outdoor dining area is wonderful. The service was very good, but we found the menu to be odd & limited from what we've had been offered in the past. The food served was also very good, but we passed on the entrees (choices were not appealing to us) and instead ordered appetizers for our dinner. Its a great restaurant, but as the menu "just didn't click" for us, we also passed on drinks. We gave it a 3 out 5 only due to what we felt were odd menu offerings. But as I said earlier, everything we did have, was quite good.

Had lunch today at Culina with friends. They didn't have our reservation and were not immediately accommodating when we wanted to eat in one of the enclosed patios. It took forever for the waiter to take our orders and when one guest requested poached eggs on an english muffin she was told that the chef said it would take to long to boil the water. Presently on a diet that severely limits fats and sugars, I ordered the beautiful seafood salad boasting shrimp, crab and lobster only to discover that the lobster was lobster salad with mayonnaise. When I indicated that I couldn't eat the mayo, I was given the third degree as to whether I was allergic or just didn't like mayo. Then I was told it would take some time before they could make another because they'd have to make the lobster without the mayo. I indicated that I would have nothing instead. The manager eventually came over and kindly tried to offer other things. I indicated that by the time my food came my friends would be finished so I was fine without an entree. He offered tuna crudo (lovely) and brought a salad with vinaigrette. It was a lovely gesture but he didn't seem to understand that I was not eating dressing with oil. All in all, I don't think any of us will be returning.

Ate dinner there earlier this week and was interrupted by the busboy and the waitress numerous times. The manager chased my colleague and eye out of the restaurant asking questions and so forth. Overall, the night was miserable, and the food was lousy. It is unfortunate that the staff are so unprofessional and did not seem to care that the customers had requested not to be bothered, but they bothered us anyway. It never ceases to amaze me that these pretentious places act like they are controlled over you and you were the customer. It’s almost as though they are getting pleasure out of disrupting and listening in to your conversation. Professionals at these establishments need to know their limits and unfortunately, they don’t seem to know that here.

Staying in house over the Christmas period and ate here each night, plus the Christmas day buffet. The food was excellent, service was great, ambience is a 'neighbourhood' cosy feel in the heart of Beverly Hills. The staff were very friendly and good. Modern, yet traditional Italian fare with a great range of wine. We will be back!

Delicious food - nice ambience at Four Seasons dining room. Homemade pasta dinner with Winter black truffles was outstanding. Service was attentive and very friendly - great night!

The homemade pasta dished were delicious. We especially enjoyed the boars head marinara sauce. The Lasagna is anything but ordinary and the tortalini melt in your mouth.

The food was normal, nothing different from what I can prepare at home, regular attention, they did not give me a birthday present, I would not return

Arrived with a large group over the weekend for lunch and everyone ordered the Pronto Market Buffet for lunch. It is a hidden gem at only $35 a person at such a lovely restaurant (and in the Four Seasons). There were probably 6 different fresh, crisp and interesting salad options. Additionally there was no shortage of other options including: soup, pasta, a carving station (multiple proteins), charcuterie, cheese, dessert, etc. The salads were so refreshing and delicious and the food was constantly being refreshed. We sat outside on the patio and were adjacent to the beautiful waterfall. Even the fabulous GM came to check on us and we had wonderful and attentive service. We will definitely be back - and often. This is an outstanding lunch option for even the pickiest eaters.

Great experience! Our waiter was attentive, and the cocktails and pizza were delicious. I'm from Italy and it is very difficult to find good pizza in the US, but this was it! The crust alone was perfection. We also had the caprese salad as appetizer, and I have to say that those were probably the best tomatoes I have had in my entire life! Looking forward to going back to Culina!

Located at the Four Seasons Hotel the restaurant serves modern Italian cuisine. Appetizers are very creative and delicious. I had a lamb shank which was accompanied by a bit salty barely-type dish. The lamb was cooked perfectly but the side dish was too salty for my taste. My friend had a fish dish which was light and very tasty. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There is an indoor and outdoor section. The ambience is elegant, peaceful and private. The restaurant validates valet parking. They automatically add 18% gratuity to the check Overall it was a very pleasant and enjoyable dinning experience but it was very expensive even with the groupon!

We had dinner here whilst on holiday and had a table in the outside conservatory area (but every area of the restaurant looked beautiful). Absolutely beautiful hotel. We had a drink in the bar first (fabulous). Our server was lovely, very polite and very efficient and the food was exceptional. I would definitely recommend dining here.

We enjoyed brunch here. The people watching was the best bit. The food was good, the service attentive.
OK but not what i expected
This is a nice restaurant, Service was good but it was let down by the Menu. Which was just average nothing too exciting to choose from
