Scrumptious and consistent! If you want a different spin on delicious BBQ this is it ! The Tony Porker , cream corn and Thai green salad with juicy bbq chicken

This place was recommended to me by a local who knows his good food/ eating establishments. His other recommendations were Reese Bros and The Magpie. I had the Brisket Smoke Show ($13.95) and it was awesome! Tender brisket in a soupy green curry over rice. For desert I had the strawberry and lychee ice cream which tasted amazing but it was pre-scooped and kept in the freezer so had a strange icy crust. Would go back anytime. Clean, reasonably priced, quick and tasty!

Great welcome and easy ordering. Limited menu, which is OK because the choices were broad in cuisine type. The food was amazing. My wife said it was the best curry she had ever tasted (and we have tasted many). She had the mushroom curry, and I had smoked pork, with a side of creamed corn (not your average creamed corn). This is a place you have to try, but when it gets crazy popular please make space for us…..

This is all about Texas barbecue with a twist. Curry Boys BB in San Antonio is an Asian BBQ restaurant, where Southeast Asian curry meets Texas BBQ, offering a flavor inexperienced by most--but desired by all. Located at 536 East Courtland Place, it is a straight forward, window-serve operation that also features BBQ chicken and brisket with rice in the form of a rice bowl. Open from 11 to 10 Monday and Wednesday through Sunday, Curry Boys have another San Antonio location at 2334 North St. Mary's Street. So what you like about this new taste? My wife and I shared a plate of pulled pork nachos, a bed of tortilla chips smothered in curry gueso and pulled pork topped with honey sriracha and cilantro. I couldn't resist the sound of a Curry Queso Hot Dog, a smoked pork link with a Martins bun and smothered in curry queso and topped with onions, cilantro and shallots. It wasn't a Chicago-style hot dog but it was tasty. My wife sampled a Tony Parker, named for the former NBA star, oak-smoked pulled pork with bold and flavorful Penang curry. My wife loves pulled pork above all other barbecue and she confessed that this sandwich was unlike any other she has ever tasted. Two other items of note are the Brisket Smoke Show, a classic smoked prime brisket paired with green curry, and The Missing Link, a smoked and peppery sausage paired with traditional Penang curry. Dessert wasn't a debate at all. Try the flan solo, delicious Spanish custard topped with sweet cold brew and whipped cream. For a side, try the creamed corn with curry sprinkled on top. Every restaurant needs a gimmick or two to succeed and Curry Boys have more than enough to satisfy your taste buds.

Excellent Food! This restaurant was recommended by a co-worker. Several of us decided to eat here to celebrate a birthday. The parking availability is good. Was welcomed upon entering restaurant. The person at the register answered questions and directed us to certain dishes on the walk menu and printed menu. We ordered the chips and queso and pulled pork nachos to start… both had delicious flavor. The Nachos has some spice!! We ordered Missing Link, Tony Porker and the Curry Queso Hot Dog. Each dish was presented beautifully and had a range of delectable flavors. Plenty of drink options, soda, water, beer wine. It works… everything about this mass-up works!! Highly recommend!

I would've given this restaurant a zero if I could. I rarely leave reviews, but I had to here. This food was absolutely disgusting, the pulled pork was inedible. The sauces that were used tasted horrible. You'll have better luck, going to McDonalds and I don't even like McDonalds. The water tasted like chlorine. I could go on and on.

While I do not eat meat, the meat bowl of my friend looked delicious. The vegetarian mushroom bowl was delicious, especially the light curry sauce. Side dishes were really good too, especially the corn. Only gripe: I wish they had proper cutlery and glasses.

We've visited San Antonio a few times in the past several weeks, and have been to Curry Boys each time. The smoked brisket bowl is AMAZING! Such a unique combination of smoked brisket and green curry sauce, the flavors compliment each other so well. It's absolutely delicious!! We've also had the cucumber slaw and creamed corn. Both sides have the perfect amount of heat. I love the crisp bite of the vinegar slaw paired with the heat of the red pepper. Staff is very friendly, service is quick. Don't miss this fantastic spot!

I have heard mixed reviews about this place…people either love it or hate it. Finally tried the place and well, I didn’t love it. We ordered a few different things to try. The food is spicy, so if you don’t like spicy then this isn’t for you. The brisket bowl: brisket was tender and flaky, meat was quite fatty (I know brisket can be at times) and the green curry is tasty. Individually they would have been good, but to me the flavors don’t meld well together. Creamed corn was good. Queso was decent. Noodles we spicy but ok. I might give it another try before I say I won’t go back - the combo of BBQ and curry just didn’t do it for me.

We were visiting from out of town and Curry Boys came highly recommended. However, we find the taste of the food was ‘unusual’, and might need getting used to. One of us didn’t like the taste of the magic mushroom rice bowl at all (and didn’t eat it), but the other one in our party liked the Brisket Smoke Show. The Thai Green Salad was okay, and the side of mushrooms were okay, but none anything special. Pulled Pork Nachos were also okay, but the serving was rather small with little pulled pork. Considering the fast food style serving with plastic silverware, smaller servings compared to other places we ate here in town, the food appears to be overpriced, and the servings on the small side. A plus of Curry Boys was the friendly staff.
