How in the world this place has a 4-bubble rating on Trip Advisor is amazing to me. This was, flat out, the worst birthday dinner I have ever experienced, and for the first time in my life, I have to blame this all completely on the very unprofessional and incompetent waiter, who was an older black man named Brandon. He never checked on our steaks to see if they were cooked right. He ignored my birthday altogether. He even complained openly about us to the bartender on our way out, and I had to be humiliated hearing that. Read on for the full detailed accurate story because I am not making this up. I never take a bad restaurant experience out on the waitstaff and always go out of my way to be understanding with them, even overtipping. I would not be complaining about this waiter either, except for that he completely humiliated me in front of other staff and his manager as I was walking out of the restaurant with my husband. It’s quite clear he is either a homophobe or a bigot. Either way, it is horrible and unacceptable, and I would never say this lightly, but there’s no other explanation. I will explain the detailed circumstances here, so you all can understand the very good reason I have for making this review. Do with it what you wish, but I would seriously advise you to take your birthday business elsewhere because it’s not worth the $105 we dropped on this bill for two. When we were seated, our waiter was supposed to be Harrison. The noise was so loud from the table of business men and women having a rowdy, loud conversation that I politely asked Harrison to reseat us because we were celebrating my birthday and I wanted a quieter ambiance. He graciously re-sat us but had to give us to someone else. I wish he could have remained our waiter because he was so friendly right from the start. Instead, we got Brandon. Twice he passed by our table and said he would be right with us while he was on his way to another table. That was ok with us because we understood he had at least three other tables he was already waiting on in that section. The meal started out with wine and Caesar salad, and he was nice enough to begin with. After he took that order, my husband asked him where the bathroom was and he told Brandon on the way that it was my birthday and asked him if he could bring out a dessert and sing Happy Birthday. Brandon assured him that was no problem and he would be happy to take care of it. All seemed like it was going smoothly so far, until our dinner came. It was brought out by a bus boy, which is no big deal, but it seemed like Brandon forgot we existed for a while. He never checked up on us to ask if our steaks were cooked correctly. He only asked us how everything was at the end of the meal when it was too late to do anything about it. The manager came and checked on us once, but I believe it was while we were still having the salad. Unfortunately, my steak was undercooked. I ordered it medium rare, but it was cooked rare. Not his fault about the cooked temperature, but he should have checked on us sooner. I ate the steak anyway because I wasn’t about to send it back for longer cooking because in my experience, that winds up resulting in a well-Done steak. When he finally asked us how everything was, I told him that it was ok but I was disappointed in my steak. It was too rare and hard to cut and chew. His only comment was, “Why didn’t you tell me? I would have had it redone.” I explained to him I didn’t want it to wind up getting over cooked then. Meanwhile, I was thinking to myself that if he were a little more attentive to us, he would have known from the start that it was undercooked and I wouldn’t have had to make an effort to chase him down and complain about it, but I didn’t express that to him. In fact, I was still very nice, telling him that everything else was good. If he was a better waiter, he would have apologized and offered to get it comped off the check, or at least talk to his manager about it to see if there was anything he could do. Instead, he chose to pretty much ignore the problem. I was willing to let that go because I did choose to eat the steak instead of flag someone down and complain right away. He then asked if we wanted anything else, like dessert and before I could finish saying I was not sure what I wanted, he cut me off and said, “Actually, let me check with the kitchen.” He came back a few minutes later and said the kitchen was closed and he could not offer us any desserts and gave us our check, then walked away. Both my husband and I were in shock because he already knew it was my birthday and my husband was expecting a cake and a birthday song. We watched him bring dessert to a table of 6 pretty young black women, which he proudly proclaimed was on the house, and “serenade” the young woman whose birthday it was with a Happy Birthday song. My husband even went out of his way to compliment Brandon’s acapella voice. The least he could have done was wish me happy birthday and apologize that there was no dessert, but he didn’t even do that. He just completely ignored my birthday. That pissed off my husband and he asked the bus boy to get the manager. After explaining everything to the manager, he apologized and said he understood why I didn’t want to send the steak back and was sorry that Brandon didn’t acknowledge my birthday. He offered to get me a free piece of cheese cake, which he brought out wrapped up in a bag. Again, he should have at least comped my steak. That is the only appropriate thing to do when the birthday guest’s steak is cooked improperly and his birthday was completely neglected. Nonetheless, I was letting it go and accepting the free cake as a good faith effort. I even talked my husband into leaving Brandon a better tip than he wanted to, and certainly better than he deserved because I felt it was the right thing to do. I am sorry I did, because he deserves $0. On the way out is when I was completely humiliated by Brandon. He was at the bar, which we had to walk past in order to exit the restaurant. I could hear him complaining about us to the bartender and another waiter, while watching the bartender agree verbally and in nodding with him. Then I could see the same manager that visited us walk next to him and start talking to him, though I could not make out what the manager was saying to him. However, I could distinctly hear Brandon say, “I am not going to sing happy birthday to HIM!” There’s only two ways to take that...either “HIM! The gay man”, or “HIM! The white man.” I personally feel it was an issue of homophobia. He completely embarrassed and humiliated me as I walked out, and ruined my birthday dinner experience. I went to the lobby and told my husband I wanted to see the manager again. An off duty waitress sitting on the couch heard me and got the manager to come back over. I told him how humiliated I felt, overhearing what Brandon was saying, complaining about us and outright refusing to “Sing Happy Birthday to HIM!” I explained that I was pissed at Brandon’s total lack of professionalism and inappropriateness. He again apologized that I had to experience that, trying to assure me that he was there with Brandon trying to explain to him that he needed to stop talking like that. He assured me that he would address my concerns with Brandon, but that is of little comfort to me now. I told him to tell Brandon that I heard everything he was saying about me, and that even though he deserves $0 tip, we were too high class to run back and snatch the Tip money back that he doesn’t deserve. That manager should have definitely comped my meal after he realized what I overheard. It was the god’s honest truth what I overheard because the manager didn’t even try to deny it. He just reaffirmed it by telling me he was telling him to stop. This waiter is completely rude and unprofessional. He should be fired. I will never recommend this place to anyone because of how I was treated on my birthday. Even the manager, who was very polite and apologetic, should have done more to try to please me and make things right. To top it all off, as we walked out of the front door, a man was sleeping on the steps and the manager had to wake him and tell him to leave. Then as we were walking to the parking garage, we were approached by another man trying to beg for money. This was the worst birthday experience of my life!

It was a big disappointment, for $250. The Californian champagne had barely arrived as an aperitif when the starter arrived. The four crabs in the crab cocktail were seasoned with ketchup. Very special. The tuna consisted of only 4 small pieces. While we were still trying to eat the small starters slowly, the table was already cleared and the main course served. We had only been there for 20 minutes and had not finished our aperitif by a long shot. Luckily we didn't order any of the steaks ranging from $80 to almost $200 including additional costs. But even so, it was too expensive for this fast food atmosphere. When we complained, we were offered dessert as compensation. It was so sweet that my stomach rebelled and I couldn't drink any more wine. It was a wasted evening.

Excellent service, waitress attentive and helpful. Don’t care much about Covid care, though. Deliciuos food, perfect for a Christmas eve dinner

We had a large group - 20+. Manager came over to introduce himself from the jump. Nice touch. Ambiance was traditional and comfortable steakhouse, but you can dress as casual as you like. Drinks were a little weak, but the wine list was good. The food was a little better than average. Not the best I've had, but holds up. The service was essentially the same as the food. Overall nice place, would recommend.

The drinks were inventive and delicious , fried green tomatoes hot and crisp, Caesar and Wedge salads were so fresh! Prime rib amd Filet cooked perfectly and Creme Brulet perfect. Alexis provided exemplary service.

Cuts offers excellent Prime Rib (don’t be late on weekends) and very good amd attentive service. Will be back for sure ;-)

The service was amazing... i wanted to surprise my friend and our amazing waitress Tarik made it happen... the food and service was so good... epic times with epic people

With a name like "Cuts" you better have good steaks. A large group of us where in town for a conference and made reservations there for dinner because of the proximity to our hotel and the good ratings. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was nice but not pretentious The menu was typical for a steakhouse with a nice selection of appetizers, sides, and entrees. I had the filet and it was perfectly prepared. Oh, and the service was excellent.

The food was absolutely amazing. I had the surf and turf with lobster, mashed potatoes, spinach, and medallion steak. Every item on my plate was DELICIOUS! My hubby had the Braised Lamb Shank that was so tender, it was falling off the bone.

I visited this business for a family member 18th birthday celebration on 12/6/2020. BAD CHOICE!. The service was horrible, (Samuel our waiter) and the menu is definitely "OVERPRICED". I ordered a ginger ale $3.25 small bottle not sure of the oz. size, roast chicken breast $25.00, four cheese spinach and kettle chips dip appretizer $12.00, a side of spinach $6.00. I was shocked to see a wing attached to the chicken breast, that was under cooked, and nothing more on the plate. The the four cheese spinach dip was o.k. the kettle chips were fresh and good, the side of spinach had too much salt. I was totally disappointed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OVERPRICED , HORRIBLE SERVICE FOOD BUISNESS. We were rushed by our waiter Samuel and the place was not packed or crowded. We didn't feel appreciated for choosing Cuts for a birthday celebration. The food was not worth the price , the taste of the food was not worth the price, the service of the business was not worth the highly charged gratuity tip, and the manager Jimmy(Jim) is a poor excuse of a manager. This business needs to be inspected for systematic overcharging customers based on race , age and sex. We had a party of four black females and they took advantage of us. I was intentionally overcharged for a side of spinach, because it came as a side with the roasted chicken. Samuel , the waiter knew or should have known exactly what sides came with that menu item. I contacted Jim , the manager and he was rude and made plenty of excuses for Samuel, he even told me that Samuel is his best waiter. I'm sure he is. It's not telling how many other customers Samuel have intentionally overcharge and gotten away with it. He did refund my $6.00. I warn consumers beware of overcharging if you decide to visit this business. Check and re- check your receipt thoroughly for bogus charges. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS FOR PROFESSIONAL FOOD AND HONEST SERVICES.

I was in town for a dance event, and we made reservations here to grab dinner before a social. We wanted something lighter than steak, so we ordered a burger and fries along with a caesar salad and southwestern soup. Everything was delicious, and the location was nice, very close to our hotel. I'd come back again because the steak looked delicious!

After waiting 35 minutes for the order to be taken, another 40 minutes for the steak to arrive, and it was inappropriately seasoned for my allergies. Not worth either the money or the time.

Had dinner at this restaurant while in downtown Atlanta. It is tastefully decorated, a nice place for a couples dinner. We ordered the Goat Cheese Risotto Fritters for an appetizer. They were delicious and I would have liked to have them as a meal. I ordered the French Dip sandwich, which was tender and a large serving. My guest ordered the 8 oz. Filet, which was to have been cooked a medium +, but was overdone. Our server was friendly and professional. We enjoyed our meal, but it was pricey.

We went to celebrate. First time for everyone and we braved dine in during a pandemic. (All staff were in PPE) The atmosphere is great as well as the music. Nice mood for a steakhouse. The staff was fantastic. Alphonso was our waiter. If you get him, treat him right cause he'll do the same for you anyway. For drinks: Cosmo, Old Fashion, and Citrus Punch. I changed from the citrus punch to a lemon drop which was phenomenal. We ordered apps: Fried Risotto and Fried Green Tomatoes. Both were good. I like risotto so I'm partial to that dish over the other. Entrees: Braised Lamb Shank, Cowboy Ribeye with Baked Potato, and CUTS Ribeye (which has a tropical marinade). Everyone enjoyed their meal. Seasoned well. The shank was tender and delicious. Large portions so if you want, skip the app. Or do like we did and bring the rest home. Both desserts were fabulous: Fudge Pecan Brownie and Apple Cobbler. Both come a la mode. Overall a fun dining experience with delicious food, great service, and laughter. A place to go if in downtown Atlanta. We'll be back.

This is a traditional steakhouse with great steaks, salads and sides to share. We were with a large group in town for a business conference. Enjoyed a great filet with blue cheese crumbles. Restaurant was packed and it was a Sunday evening.

Because of mobility issues of elderly fam member and the needs of a young child, we picked up a $700 order of the most delicious dinner of ribeyes, salmon, chicken, sides, salads and incredible Georgia cheesecake. We brought dinner to our hotel lobby's breakfast area on a Saturday evening and it was an estraordinary night of the BEST dinner in an easy setting for family needs. Marcie helped us so much with the planning, the GM and Chef executed a dinner that exceeded our expectations! The hostess, a GA State student was wonderful, too! Husband and I look forward to dining there in person next time! CUTS beats Ruth Chris in our opinion! The restaurant interior is gorgeous with some glam; and so cozy and inviting.

Whether you have steak (from 6oz filets to Texas size bone in, the meat is prepared exactly how you want it to be. sides are well prepared and there are many choices. The ribs fall off the bone and are very flavorful with or without sauces. Soft Jazz is played in the background.

I recently went to Cuts (for second time) while in Atlanta on business. It is in the model of the better steakhouses and I have not been disappointed either time! I enjoyed the Cuts bistro steak, which was cooked exactly to my request. My boss had been there earlier in the week while we were at trade show. By luck, we had the same waitress, Cecili. She is conceivably the best waitress I have ever encountered and should be training others. She actually remembered the wines my boss had selected from 2 nights prior. Now that's service!

This restaurant was very convenient when staying at the Marriott Marquis. They offer both indoor and outdoor service (we recommend indoor to avoid the street people). This is a very classy restaurant - don't go in a tshirt and ballcap. The setting and decor are very nice. The service was excellent. But we go to a steak house for steak. They were just outstanding! The medium-rare ribeye was so tender I could have cut it with a fork. The ribs were falling-off-the-bone tender and juicy. The sides that came with the meals were also excellent. I highly, highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the downtown area. The prices were not out of line for a nice steak house. Without alcoholic drinks, we got out of there for about $60.

Enjoyable restaurant with enthousiastic staff. In the center of downtown atlanta. Maybe a little bit too much garlic, but overall very good meat dishes.

We were thrilled to finally find a reservation available for Valentine’s weekend. We had never been before and were excited to try a new place. The food was good and so was the steak. They got mine and my husbands switched on how we wanted it cooked but it didn’t bother us. The pimento cheese Mac-n-cheese was my absolute favorite! It is definitely on the pricey end so anyone going needs to be prepared to pay a pretty penny. We would definitely go back!

this steakhouse is amazing! the food was so delicious and I'm not overacting when I say that I had the best filet I've ever ate. everything was great and also the waitress was very friendly. she gave us recommandations on drinks/foods and answered our questions and was quite helpful in general. the evening was perfect in all ways!

We visited this restaurant for dinner. The absolute stress specialty cocktails was delicious and ample. The premium steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection! The fried lobster was a tad overlooked and the Mac and cheese left much to be desired. However, the service was superb and delivered with a smile and attention to detail.

We had a reservation for 8 people at 7:30 on a Saturday night. When we arrived, we asked to add 2 more, which they did without delay. The food was delicious, the service was very good. Our waitress, Elena, was pleasant and helpful. We were not rushed.

Very nice upscale restaurant that specialises in steak; and this they do very well. Went with a party of 4; everyone had different cuts, and everyone loved it. My prime rib was unbelievable; the 3 sauces (béarnaise, horseradish and steak) an excellent complement. Starters were good; wine list was nice without being over the top. You do need a fat wallet, but when you do, it is so worth it!

Rudest experience ever. Once they have given you the bill and taken your money, they don’t care and pay attention anymore. You say goodbye, the staff is next to you and they ignore you completely! Go to a nicer place when people care at least a little bit or pretend. Food is ok but nothing wow either.

Had lunch there during a recent visit to Atlanta. We were on a tight time frame and they were able to accommodate us easily. Service was attentive and friendly also. I had the french dip which had a nice au jus with it and Parmesan fries too. The Ceasar salad first was nothing special though. Good bread and the fried green tomatoes were good too. The food here looked good and tasted great also. I can recommend.

Didn’t have to wait long. Steaks prepared accordingly. Prices slightly higher than normal but won’t kill you. Very nice, and happy staff. Would go again.

I had for the app a bacon and maple syrup dish. It was good but I prefer s thin cut bacon and for it to be crispier. The French dip was very good. It was moist without the dip but great with it. Not crazy about the fries. Wanted it crispier and more garlic flavor.

We made a five -person reservation on short notice. My wife had the burger and I had the filet. Both were delicious (particularly the garlic fries), and we even considered going back again the next night.

It has to be said, if you’ve been in one upscale steak restaurant, you’ve pretty much been to them all. Expectations were high enough, however, as the restaurant got a glowing review from the concierge at our hotel. And she wasn’t wrong. We shared the 22oz ‘cowboy’ rib eye, cooked as I like it medium rare. Perfect. House salad and cilantro fries completed a really excellent dinner rounded off with a very decent Pinot Noir. Not cheap but I didn’t expect it to be. Recommended.

we've been there the 2nd time and what should I say? We were again not disappointed. the waitress was really helpful and funny as well. we started with the best starter ever: Fried Green Tomato. Guys? Try it! it's so amazing! Never had that again in such a delicious way! After that I had a filet with garlic fries. meat perfect cooked, fries delicious. can recommand the restaurant, as food is excellent and staff great and helpful.

Ready for a delicious dinner. So disappointing with the service & food. It took forever to get service & after we did it was ever so slow. My food was not worth the price, it was slightly warm, over cooked sea bass, asparagus was charred, even sent the food back to get somewhat warmed, now it was overcooked and dry. At best this is a 3 star restaurant. Even mentioned to Mgr on way out & apologized but that’s it. Don’t waste your money.

Cuts was recommended to us by the hotel concierge and was in walking distance to our hotel. The food was good but as others have said nothing stands out to give me that "Need to Come Back." But if you are in the area and enjoy a really good steak, check it out.

The service and food were excellent. Service with experience and knowledge and big smiles, especially from Naja & Tray…..Thankyou.

Short drive from Georgia Aquarium, easy parking; felt safe on street. Very pleased with entire experience: prompt/pleasant service, food tasty and prepared exactly as ordered. Would definitely re-visit.

We wanted something in walking distance that was good but overly pricey. Cuts fit the bill. My New York Strip was flavorful and the cheesy grits were a nice change of pace. Adding a wedge salad for $5 was nice and it was a very tasty representation. We would return next time we are in downtown Atlanta. Our server was efficient and very nice.

Server was very helpful/knew the menu well. Food was good. Charging far too much for vinyl booths and plastic menus. Prices are high end, noise level is chain restaurant loud. Nearly $300 USD for two people.

Al a carte menu = expensive. My hawaiian steak was charred on the outside but still juicy on the inside. The charring in my opinion ruins a good steak. But I was tired and thirsty and the meal was edible. The service was good enough, not to friendly but not too aloof.

Snobby waiter, lack of acknowledgement of questions asked, slow service, burnt/overcooked steak (per their recommendation ordered medium, my usual preference, steak charred on outside and overcooked on the inside). Kept pushing more wine until finally he just took the glass away. Steak was fatty and overall not very good.

Sat at the bar and had a good prime rib steak with sautéed mushrooms. Bar tenders were great and service very fast. Best part of the meal was the apple cobbler with ice cream. Would recommend but will be expensive.

Took a group of ten here based on a recommendation from Donnie the concierge at the Westin. Great combination of traditional steak as well as other choices like salmon, chicken etc. cheesy grits also good. Just too much to finish. Price point less than a traditional steak house like Morton’s. Impeccable service. Jay took great care of us.

We had a part of seven of which six were from overseas. I needed a good steakhouse and was not disappointed. This is one of the best I have ever eaten in and will head back there next visit. Although restaurant was booked solid and extremely busy the service and food was excellent. Everyone had steak except me as I had the rack of lamb. Top notch!!!

After speaking with our hotels concierge, we were looking for a steakhouse and they recommended Cuts. Cuts not only met, but exceeded our expectations. From the ambiance, to the service Cuts is somewhere we would go back too, if we didn’t live so far away. For anyone who is looking for a romantic setting and a good steak highly recommend Cuts!

We enjoyed a quick walk from the Mariott Marquis to Cuts. The ambience was really nice, and we loved the table - left side, next to the bar. The staff was very nice and attentive. The steaks were great of course, as was the pimento mac & cheese, and the apple cobbler.

We had a great dinner at Cuts with delicious food such as the enormous Cuts Burger. The salads were also really good. The service was very friendly and attentive.

The waitress we had was terrific! The food was out of this world. I had the prime rib and cheese grits. Take time to enjoy this experience.

Staying at the nearby Sheraton as as the hotel dining options were uninspiring, looked for a local steakhouse for dinner. The aged rib eye was amazing and he wine selection was broad and well curated. Excellent meal and service.

My husband and I were staying at hotel in Atlantic Station and wanting a nice steak dinner n chose The Cuts steakhouse. We had the pleasure of having Leo our server n he suggested the fried green tomato appetizer. We did and it was so good!!!! We split the 22 oz ribeye n cooked med rare and so tender!!!! Only disappointing thing was the drinks ie expresso martini came in a small stem martini glass n not even filled to the top…..martini delicious and would have ordered another one but not for $17!!!!! Thus i had a glass of wine and they r measured pours. Also, they have to update the website cuz the wedge salad on the web says $10 n restaurant menu is $17!!! We did have a awesome dinner and thank u Leo!!! Ur very attentive and hard worker!!

Friendly & professional welcome, comfortable non-stuffy atmosphere. Steak perfectly cooked, decent wine list. Hailey was absolutely perfect and it was a great way to finish the day in Atlanta.

Ate here with a large group of coworkers on a Friday night. We were seated immediately at 6pm. Wait staff were polite and friendly. We had a variety of appetizers which were all good. I had a Ceasar's salad which was fair - the lettuce was a bit weak for the price. I had a steak which was cooked to order and tasty. It came with asparagus which was bland and pretty good mashed potatoes. Some improvements would make it quite nice.

I went on the recommendation of a couple I know who were also visiting the Atlanta area. Perhaps since it is a steakhouse I should not have gotten the ribs but they were not good. I went for dinner and got the ribs which tasted as if they were leftover from the day before or lynch.

Very nice restaurant with a lot of different choices. Great decor, excellent server named Samuel. Both of our steaks were cooked exactly as we had asked and the caramelized onions were fantastic. I did find the mushrooms a little chewy. The cheesecake was one of the smoothest ones I have had in a long time. Prices were very reasonable for a quality steakhouse. Time from order to table was also quite acceptable.Very enjoyable experience.

Business group and just wanted good steak. This spot did not disappoint. Enjoyed fresh salads, very well prepared meats, and excellent wine. Nice convenient spot in downtown ATLANTA.

I ordered a New York strip that had to be sent back twice because instead of being medium rare it was very well done. I eventually settled for a steak that was medium. If you call yourself a steakhouse you should be able to cook a steak perfectly.

The food was absolutely amazing! I had the Surf and Turf with lobster, medallion steaks, mashed potatoes and spinach. Every bite was DELICIOUS! My husband had the Braised Lamb Shank that was so tender, it fell off the bone.

We have wanted to try this place for a few years and just haven't. Tonight was great. The food was exceptional (lobster chowder, shrimp cocktail, seared tuna, and ribs), but the service was even more exceptional- Hayley, bartender and server extraordinaire. She has an amazing personality and an even more amazing smile. We will visit again.

Perfectly cooked, super tender ribeye, excellent sides, attentive service, uncrowded, parking immediately adjacent . . . fine choice.

This was a belated anniversary dinner. Nick was our server. We asked if the Prime rib was available rare this evening. He checked with the kitchen and said that it was. My husband ordered the Prime rib rare. I ordered the Ribeye rare. I always say very rare, bloody, a step just above Pittsburg, and it can moo to stress rare. A few minutes later Nick came back to tell my husband the kitchen was completely out of the Prime rib. He brought a menu. Apparently in the mi utes between him checking and us ordering they sold out of Prime rib. My husband ordered the NY strip rare. We both asked for the loaded baked potatoes. The food arrived. The NY strip was cooked perfectly and had a good flavor. Unfortunately my very rare ribeye was closer to medium with just a bit of pink in the middle. I called Nick over and he took the steak to be redone. The second one had a good flavor and was rare. The loaded baked potatoes had cheese that formed a stringy topping. It wasn't bad, but not great. We got the Creme Brulee for dessert. This was actually the best part of the meal. It came out with a large strawberry and was delicious. The atmosphere was nice. The server did a good job, but the issues through the meal did not make this a good experience.

We chose this place because of the great reviews and we were not disappointed! The steaks were incredible -- some of the best we've ever had. The salad was large and very tasty. The sides were good and the dessert was really good. Our young waiter was attentive, polite, and had some good suggestions. Although we were a party of two, there were two tables near ours that had easily 15 people each at them. Assuming it was a work event. So this place is great for both large and small groups. Again, a wonderful meal. When we return to Atlanta, we will return to Cuts!!

I would say: middle-class steakhouse at a high-class price. Quality and ambience are not quite commensurate with the price. The two of us paid a total of $220 for 2 steaks, 5 side dishes, 1 bottle of water, 2 beers. That would have been okay, but one steak was shoe-rare instead of medium and had to be returned (I then got one in medium). The potatoes were dry and not fresh, the caramelized onions were an over-seasoned, warmed-up mush, and the roasted mushrooms were also warmed-up. When you consider that you would pay at least $300 for 2 with an appetizer, dessert, and wine, that is completely unacceptable. Light-colored fabric chairs with stains like in a diner. Staff stiff as if you were in a Michelin-starred restaurant.

I enjoyed the ribs at CUTS, but I'm afraid I may have become ill from them. They were tender, tasty and well done, but the next few days were uncomfortable for me. I don't know if any of the other guests had issues so overall it was a good dinner with moderately good steaks. No rave reviews of the steaks, but the salmon and ribs were tasty.

I was promptly seated but I had a reservation and it was relatively early. There was a large convention in town and this was just down the street. The service was great. Good recommendation by the server. Nice specialties on the menu. I had the salmon with pecans. I ordered a house salad which was much nicer than most house salads. It had cucumber, egg, tomatoes, dried cranberries and shallots with the field greens. The ambiance of the place was very nice, not noisy at all like most steak houses.

Came for a Saturday night birthday dinner with 7:30 reservation for 3. Not having been here before, I read a number of prior reviews of this restaurant and have to agree with the ones finding their meal and service top notch. I am picky about how my steaks are cooked, but my ribeye was done perfectly as ordered and was tender and tasty! My other 2 diners had steak and prime rib and they were quite pleased with their food as well. We had excellent appetizers including a new soup for me: tarragon chicken. It was SUPERB and I am still telling others about it 3 days after the meal! Our server (Elena) was friendly and attentive, checking on us periodically. And the reviews crabbing about the price, well all I can say is for us it was not that expensive for what we got! Other steakhouses I have been to were more pricey than this one. In sum, we all had a great time and a great meal! I do recommend not driving as the one lot next door is small - suggest Uber, Lyft, or other mode of transport. Also, kudos to the restaurant for calling us early that day to advise they would be pretty full and asked it they could change our reservation from 7 to 7:30. Shows to me they plan well. And we were seated promptly at 7:30 after having drinks at the very lovely and roomy bar from 6:50 to 7:30.

Meat: good. I had the NY strip, medium rare, very well cooked, no complaints. On the side: green beans baked in olive oil and topped with parmesan. Tasty, but they could have halved the amount of calories by either grilling or boiling the beans, because this was drenched in oil. The baked potato was well cooked, but boring. Perhaps next time bring it with garlic butter. Wine was very nice, but expensive. Now for the bad part. This place is seriously overpriced. A good piece of steak does not have to cost 40 dollars. Looking at your restaurant I understand why it’s so expensive. The interior is very nice, your staff are very kind. It breathes pretentiousness. The wine list was ridiculously long, and this place even has a sommelier (which the waitress pronounced as Somalier :-D). Our waitress was a bit clumsy with the wine (as if she had seen in a movie how to present the wine but never had the proper training.) A steakhouse does not need this whole fancy wine service. Stick to what you know: meat. Red wine with steak? Sure, but keep the wine choice simple and affordable. I can imagine that the location makes it more expensive as well. On top of all this: a FORCED 20% service charge due to covid (even though on the receipt it said it was gratuity). I’m sorry, did we just pay 20% extra so the staff can wear face masks? Or so that you can cover your missed income? Ridiculous! Stop forcing gratuity (especially for idiotic reasons) and pay your staff a decent salary. I’ve never left a steakhouse with 100 dollars less in my pocket. ONE … HUNDRED … DOLLARS. At a steakhouse. Definitely not coming back here.

Server was clearly annoyed that we had a big party with separate checks. Even stated it to the table next to us. Chicken was average. I’ve had better service to say the least! 👎🏼

Although we were over 45 minutes late due to traffic and the many activities going on this weekend in Atlanta, I am glad they held our reservation. We were 10 minutes away and I almost cancelled reservation while sitting in traffic. The service was excellent and the food did not disappoint. My husband had a filet and I had the Pecan salmon. We started our meal with fried green tomatoes. Kendrick provided excellent and knowledge service. He was assisted by Jay. Both of them made our meal an enjoyable experience. Would definitely return

Was a little concerned about the location, but this is an excellent steakhouse. The steak was great- a perfect medium rare. The sides were awesome and the service was spectacular. Six of us on a business trip! Very relaxing and a good environment. It is pricey, but worth the experience.

Alfonso and Tarik were absolutely amazing. Alfonso is the definition of class. His presentations to his personality! The food was well worth every penny, but it was the service that will bring us back. My husband and I are from New Orleans and Tampa, Florida. You have no idea how difficult it is to go somewhere and receive excellent service from start to finish. We were nothing short of impressed. Thank you Alfonso! Our first time and will definitely not be our last.

The decor was amazing and comfortable. We sat at a nice quiet table in the back and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu . The food was tasty and the ambiance was amazing . Will be returning

This is a decent steakhouse. Good service. Decent atmosphere. Good but not spectacular food. We had burgers and steak. It was good but not great. Also had the cobbler for dessert - it was just OK.

The service on Saturday evening was very chaotic and extremely SLOW. The bistro steak was nothing special and felt like an appetizer.

Great service! Wonderful atmosphere!Superb food! The prime rib and New York strip my wife and I had were delicious! All in all, a wonderful evening at Cuts!

Service was phenomenal! We made a reservation on Open Table so there was no wait. Filet was lovely and all of the house made sauces were great. I'd suggest passing on the french onion soup - it was not good. The lower tails were HUGE! We got ours grilled. The wine selection is also very good.

The atmosphere is excellent. Noise level is good to maintain a conversation among friends. Some of us had meat - all cooked differently- and we were all happy. I had asparagus as a side dish and they were cooked to perfection -as was the meat. Another friend had salmon and she was very happy too. Well worth the price, although not excessive for the quality.

We had filet with fried lobster tail. It was delicious! The service is outstanding as well. Cicely provided wonderful service and made my birthday celebration perfect!

Food was excellent. I enjoyed the crab soup jambalaya and “Cuts burger”. The staff were very friendly and fun. Would definitely dine here again.

The service was amazing from the hostess, whom I did not catch her name, but was from France. She gave us such a great welcome and made my daughter feel so special on her birthday. Alfonso was one of the best waiters we have ever had!!! He was so kind and attentive. He even helped my Mom walk down the steps on our way out. We were treated like family. The manager Jonathan also made us feel welcomed and made my daughter feel special. The food was also amazing! Everything tastes great. We got the fried green tomatoes, escargot, surf and turf, ribs, fries and lamb. They were all prepared wonderfully. I would highly recommend this restaurant

In Atlanta couple times a year on business and looking for a go to place. Found it!!! Great steakhouse. Had a great waiter (Jay) who was a fun guy. Started with a bottle of Four Points Pinot Noir from Willamette valley which was superb. We split a filet which was done perfect, seasonal veggies, and a potato that were all excellent. Everyone was very nice from other servers to hostess. All seemed to enjoy what they do and it showed. See you in January.

The filets did not disappoint. We asked for medium rare and they were done to perfection. Very moist and tasty. All the side dishes were good. The only negative is that the service was not on the same level as the food. We had to remind the server on a couple of occasions that he had forgot about a glass of wine and a vegetable that we had ordered. It is a must restaurant if you enjoy a good filet.

Went here for dinner before Eagles concert. The drinks, food and service were terrific! Nicole was our server and we couldnt have asked for better! NY Strip was cooked to perfection and topped with blue cheese, peach cheesecake was delicious. Drinks were great as well!

Nice spot near my hotel....food was excellent and David the Bartender was very good in making suggestions...

I was hesitant to try - I thought the menu would be too heavy and I'm not a big lover of steak but my husband persuaded me to try and I am glad he did. (He never reads reviews so there's no danger in him finding out I admitted he was right.) We shared an appetizer, salad, steak burger, and fries and all were DELICIOUS! Service was professional and competent. The best meal we had over the long weekend in Atlanta.

The food & service was excellent. We had a party 8 couples(16 ppl). Our food came out hot & at the same time.

I had a wonderful experience at Cuts. The cowboy rib-eye was very flavorful and was an exceptional steak, rivaling the famous national chains. The service was very good. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in downtown Atlanta.

We ate in here on a Saturday evening in Atlanta. We didn't book a table. The restaurant was modern and had nice décor. All staff were very friendly. My wife had the ribeye and I had the rack of lamb. The lamb was cooked well and also well seasoned. She enjoyed her ribeye steak. The sides we had were small and not really big enough for 1 person, let alone to share between the 2 of us, which wasn't an issue as the meals were a good size and filled us up. Would probably return if/ when next in Atlanta.

This visit was a good experience overall. The appetizer (fritters) were very tasty, and the bread and salad hit the mark. Our server, Shay, was very personable and helpful. The only downside was that our two steaks ordered to medium were not cooked properly. One was undercooked and one was nuked. Because of our schedule and since Shay was so good, we didn’t raise a stink. However, it was a disappointment. Otherwise, we had a fine meal!

Khalilah was absolutely incredible. She always addressed me with a smile of enthusiasm and a very extensive knowledge of the menu items. I would go back just to have her serve me again. Made my trip from Detroit very enjoyable!

We went to lunch at this restaurant on a Tuesday. We had made a reservation and we were very well served. All the dishes served were delicious. The Mood of the restaurant is beautiful and b decorated.

The fried green tomatoes were amazing. The risotto and goat cheese fritter very good. The Cobb salad was already mushy and avocado not edible. We had ordered a side of fried which they forgot. We were really excited to enjoy a nice meal and it disappointed.

Typical Atlanta "poor service", but this place looked different, so I tried it. Nothing special, I did not eat here and I left after a drink. Servers and Bartenders are not proffesional, chewing gum, talking over guest, short cuts, not crisp. When the service is poor, I will usually not enjoy even excellent food. Sorry I do not have more information to share for readers.

We visited here from a recommendation of our concierge, what a great recommendation! We were greeted and checked on throughout our entire time there! We had prime rib and the rib eye it was delicious! If we ever went back to Atlanta we would definitely would return

We were in Atlanta 4 days and this was the best restaurant by far that we attended (because one we left before ordering). Alfonso and Tireek were the best servers we had experienced on our trip as well. Food was delicious. Our group had shrimp and grits, Roasted Chicken, and steak burgers. Everything was above par. We also ordered a variety of desserts and no one could pick their favorite. They were all a compliment to the meal. We will be back. This is a must if you are visiting near downtown.

Cuts Steakhouse is a great place for dinner. Place is big but comfortable, the atmosphere is great as its busy and loud but you can still have conversation at your own table. I did find it to be a little to dark to read the menu so it could use a little more light over the tables. The service is fantastic and the food is very very good. We tried few of the starters and shared the feature tomahawk steak. Fried green tomatoes were good, the other apps were ok and the steak was great. Our Server recommended a really nice wine and we had a great time. The only issue was that our reservation was not on time and we had to wait over 20 mins for a table.

This is very overpriced for poor quality food. It’s bland, not fresh and not special. It is very very exoensive. Save your money and go anyplace else. Staff is very nice.

Excellent food and service. A little on the expensive side, but food was fantastic. I would recommend this restaurant, but maybe not for children as the menu is not rally child friendly.

We stayed at the Marriot Marquis and this restaurant was a block away. It is a nice restaurant and the tab for three people was approximately $300. For that price tag, I would expect the experience to not be rushed. The entire time we were dining I felt we were being rushed to the next course. The food was good and the drinks were made correctly. My husband really enjoyed the Lamb, the filet mignon was cooked perfectly; however, our friend did not care for the chicken dish she ordered. The garlic mashed potatoes were great! All in all, it was a nice dinner, however, if I lived in the area ...I am not sure I would return. With that being said, we were told this was the best restaurant in the downtown Atlanta area.

During a recent trip to Atlanta, we had the pleasure of dining at Cuts Steakhouse, and it was hands-down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in the city. The food was absolutely incredible—perfectly cooked steaks, flavorful sides, and cocktails that hit just right. But what took the evening to the next level was the amazing team behind it all. First, Alphonso—what an incredible host. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcomed and taken care of. His knowledge of the menu, attention to detail, and warm, charismatic energy elevated the entire experience. He had great suggestions, perfect timing, and a genuine enthusiasm that made the night memorable. And then there’s Chef Bobby—the mastermind in the kitchen. Every dish that came out was executed with precision and passion. You can tell there’s a real commitment to quality and flavor here. The steak was one of the best I’ve ever had—juicy, tender, and full of bold flavor. You can taste the love Chef Bobby puts into every plate. Cuts Steakhouse is a gem in downtown Atlanta, and with people like Alphonso and Chef Bobby leading the way, it’s no surprise. Highly recommend making a reservation—and if you can, ask for Alphonso and thank the chef personally. You won’t be disappointed.

Great place for Lunch downtown Atlanta. I enjoyed a wonderful meal at the bar with outstanding service from Angie. Cuts is a great place to enjoy the perfect lunch or business dinner for large or small groups. The service food and ambience of this locally owned restaurant is perfect, and a must visit in downtown Atlanta.

Found this nice and clean restaurant close to our hotel We both enjoyed our meals our waitress was very polite and helpful the food was also good washed down with a reasonable priced bottle of wine Would eat here again

Although you have other choices, the meat is great! Sports on tv all around, which does not help for athmosphere, unless you are a real sportsfan. Good service!

My wife and I choose to eat dinner at The Cuts on a Friday night, menu options, food and service were excellent. We would recommend going back.

Food was outstanding. Service was VERY good. The only negative was that it took a LONG time for food to come out. Dessert took 20 minutes. Worth the wait but a LONG time. Granted the place was crowded but you are paying that amount of money for a meal, the food has to come out faster. I don't a 2.5hr dinner with three people

Nice setting , good service , but during the check... surprise... an 18% tip without warning + tax ... savory check

Took the wife for a pre-Valentine's dinner, hoping the meal would be as delectable as the menu described. It was NOT. We arrived on time for our reservation to a lobby packed FULL of people to the point there was nowhere to stand or sit. Social distancing and masking were not being enforced. So, we went to the bar. DRINKS: Ivan, the bartender, was a delight. He is a master mixologist and a lot of fun to watch. After about 20 minutes, we were shown to our table. Our waitress was APPETIZER: Michelle, who also was delightful. She enthusiastically answered all our questions. The bread and butter was delivered. It tasted like nothing. I mean, no taste at all. We ordered the Bourbon Glazed Bacon Steak as an appetizer. It was two thick-cut slices of pork belly in a bourbon glaze with a side of maple syrup. If you eat bacon, you know there are lean cuts and very fatty cuts. This was VERY fatty to the point that we could only eat half of the order. ENTREES: I ordered the Ribeye with caramelized onions and CUTS sauce and cheesy grits on the side. My wife ordered the petit filet with a side of pimento mac n cheese. My steak was cooked to order, medium-well, with absolutely zero seasoning on it. Just meat. Bland and tasteless even with the CUTS sauce. The "Thyme Caramelized Onions" were NOT caramelized and had no thyme. They were sauteed and tasteless. My wife's petit filet was undercooked according to her request. She ordered medium-well. It was served medium. As a result, she could not eat it. The "Oven Roasted Mushroom" topping was okay but nothing spectacular and certainly not enough to rescue the steak. The best part of BOTH of our entrees was her "Pimento Mac & Cheese." We gave up and asked them to just box up our food. I am going to serve it at home AFTER I add some flavor and cook things to our liking. DESSERT: For dessert, we ordered the "Georgia Style Cheesecake." This was the BEST part of the entire meal, but only for me. The wife did not care for it because, according to her: a) It did not taste like cheesecake [She was right! It tasted like cake batter, which I LOVE.]; b) The grilled peaches were just "warmed" and not really "grilled", again, tasteless. This was the only plate we "cleaned." COST: Our two drinks at the bar cost $40. Gratuity was included in all billing to cover the cost of sanitizing everything and making sure the staff got some sort of compensation should customers be unsatisfied with the meal (like us). Our meal cost $176. Did we complain or ask to speak to the manager? No, we did not. It was apparent with what was left on our plates and our responses to the question, "How's your meal?" No offer to make it better. So, plan accordingly. We drove an hour one-way for this "special" meal hoping it would live up to the descriptions on the menu. It did not. $220 for cheesecake for one, is NOT my idea of time or money well spent.

Went with a group of friends. It said it had veggies meals. They told me the salmon farmed so I went with 2 appetizers. Tuna only had 4 pieces. I have never had such a small amount, I normally get 6 or 8 pieces. The sides had a lot of salt. The staff was on top of everything checking on us all the time. The cocktails were mixed so well we were drinking them like water.

We had a wonderful experience at Cuts Stakehouse. We were there late in the evening, so we enjoyed a delicious dinner with red wine accompanied by romantic music and dim lighting. The staff were so kind and cordial. Their actions was what set the restaurant experience above and beyond for me. Of course, the food was delicious!!!

My husband and I visited on a Saturday night on an out of town date before a concert. We knew we wanted steak and the location worked well for us and we were easily able to get a reservation on Open Table, which were the two deciding factors. We started with an app and cocktails and the service was on point; our waitress was friendly without being overbearing and the speed at which we were served was just right. I ordered the filet and garlic fries and my husband got the ribeye and garlic mashed potatoes. My food was delicious--he wished he'd gotten the filet as well but said the ribeye was very good. Both sides were good but I don't know how they got the fries so perfectly crispy--they were a cut above. The atmosphere was a shade more casual than your typical upscale steak house such as a Ruth's Chris so take that for what you will. I think it took a little from the 'upscale' experience considering the cost but not everyone is looking for that. While it was more than we'd normally spend on a dinner, it was a nice treat for a special date night and it fit all our criteria so overall we were very pleased with the experience.

This restaurant is definitely not A Cut Above. Overpriced no flavor average service. I've never had a restaurant automatically put a 20% tip on the bill for three people. I would not have given that much. Again overpriced average-at-best.

Steak was great! Ambiance and service were excellent. But, extremely overpriced and the other food items VERY MEDIOCRE. $300 bill for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Had a very nice steak. Cooked to my liking. Good service and cocktails. Good spot for eating at the bar or tables. Very good service. And quick. I liked it

Nothing was really bad,but nothing blew me away from the atmosphere to the food. It was all just ok. Waitress was nice and efficient. I would probably not return and rely another resturant on the downtown area.

The food an ambiance of this restaurant was great. The management at restaurant was very rude, unwilling to accommodate and lacks total customer service. I took a large party of my clients to restaurant and was extremely embarrassed by the lack of respect by manager,Joseh. Two of my clients ( guests ) keep stretchy kosher, for religious purposes.I have traveled with them all of the US as well in China and India on a regular basic. They bring there own food to be heated up in aluminum sealed pans, at restaurant. As mentioned, i have traveled with them for over 15 years and this has Never been a problem. All restaurants have always shown the respect for their observance and have willingly heated up and served their kosher food. NOT Joseh. He adamantly refused to heat up meals. Said it was against Health code rules. We have never heard this before. After speaking to him for several minutes he was not budging. It was quite embarrassing and uncomfortable for my client. I Don’t understand this , we were a large parting , eating and drinking a lot . We come to Atlanta on a regular basis. We will not be visiting this restaurant again. Too bad because food was great but service and manager were unacceptable.

Nine of us arrived midweek without a reservation but were quickly seated, the waiting / serving staff were knowledgeable professional and courteous. The manager was also very friendly and professional and helpful The food was delicious I had filet with garlic mash and creamed spinach and a few glasses of Malbec plus apple cobbler for dessert. The standards and quality and service is high at this restaurant which was reflected in the bill but it was value for money

The restaurant is beautiful, interesting, and upscale. We were seated at a table for 2, in a row with several others. Not much privacy, but it was OK. The noise level is fairly high.. We will ask for a booth next time. All of the food was absolutely delicious. Fried green tomatoes. Salmon, petite filet, roasted root vegetables. Service was good too. We never felt rushed. The prices are quite high but the food and atmosphere are special.

Prime Rib was finished!!! I had Cowboy Ribeye with truffle asparagus. Well cooked and really savory. The wine list is reach, the location is pleasant and the staff friendly.

First time at Cuts Steakhouse in Atlanta. Excellent service from Sergio. Food was great. Had a New York strip with their horseradish sauce and loved it. Nice atmosphere and noise level was low enough to have a conversation. Very enjoyable evening!

Good choices on menu with interesting spices . Wine list has a lot of inexpensive good wines to choose from. Goat cheese risotto was amazing. The escargot was too strong of lemon flavor. The southern fried lobster tail, OMG!!, was great along the perfectly served ribeye steak. The rack of lamb was also perfectly served with cilantro Parmesan fries. Delicious! The apple cobbler, sorry it’s apple strudel, was also delicious. Nick our server was very attentive and efficient. He understood we didn’t want to be rushed. Great steakhouse to visit here in Atlanta.

I was looking forward to a good steak - and the filet and other dishes were good. My only food complaint was their custom steak sauce which was underwhelming. Unfortunately, the service was weak and just not in sync to the degree one expects in a nicer restaurant, i.e. bread was brought well after after my main entree arrived. No one asked if I wanted salt and pepper or ketchup(for my fries). Final touch was pushing a sticky surfaced door when I left.

The place was impecably clean and the service was excellent. The appetizers and entrees were delicious. The place is as good as Ruth's Chris and more reasonably priced. Would definitely go back

High end steak house with high end food, service and prices. The steak and lobster tail was very good, but not great enough to justify the $70.

The food was very good at this restaurant. The prices and atmosphere are definitely that if a fancier restaurant. They have a no hats policy and the four of us felt a little out of place in jeans and t-shirts. The menu has a wide selection but of the misc items each of us ordered they were all very very good. The staff was very helpful and always around when we needed anything. The only thing we didn’t get was the second basket of bread that we ordered.

My wife surprised me with a to-go dinner for my birthday. I had the wedge salad, bacon appetizer, green beans, and filet. Everything was excellent. Just as good if not better than Ruth's Chris, Morton's, Capital Grille, etc. Give this place a try... you will not be disappointed.

This was our first time dining at Cuts Atlanta and certainly well not be our last. The restaurant is beautiful it’s the old Steak & Ale that has been dressed up to be a beautiful elegant downtown steakhouse. Our service team was excellent. A male and female team that complimented one and other very well. The specials were described beautifully and the presentation of the steak board was so cool. We got a couple salads to start and they were wonderful. The iceberg wedge salad was piled high with crisp cool lettuce, (in a chilled salad bowl) beautiful cherry tomatoes, bacon, and lots of blue cheese crumbles. The pickled beat and arugula salad crafted with a big high pile of arugula, with goat cheese crumbles, a fried goat cheese fritter, and beautiful bright red pickled beats. The real stars of the show were the entree’s. Let start with the 13oz High Choice NY Strip. Broiled to a perfect Medium Rare, seasoned to perfection, and served with there compound butter that was the perfect addition to the steak. The steak was tender and flavorful and was just delicious. Next was there Upper Choice Ribeye. Again seasoned perfectly, cooked to perfection, juicy, tender, and flavorful. Every last bite was consumed with very happy consumers enjoying every last bite. Next the broiled lobster tail. This tail was broiled perfectly, served with drawn butter and grilled lemon. The last dish to mention was the chef’s daily fish special. Regional trout with crispy skin, stuffed with crab meat and hollandaise sauce. It was a perfectly cooked piece of trout and made a delicious entree. Lastly their desserts. What an amazing selection of desserts. From creamy crème brûlée, peach cobbler, chocolate cake, and a strawberry sunday. These delicious sweet treats were the perfect way to end an amazing meal.

There are plenty of 5$$$$$ steakhouses around but hard the find one that serves a good meal at a reasonable price. Cuts does just that. My steak was perfectly done the server was cordial and the atmosphere was pleasant without being overdone. If you want to entertain and spend the bucks go ahead with a chain but if you want a comparable meal at less cost five Cuts a try.

Cuts is always my go to place. this is my 5th time visiting. I’ve never felt discriminated at a restaurant but today it happened. We are from Mexico and received the worst service ever. You can see the same servers having a very different attitude with other tables and a complete disregard to us. Food was great but the attitude of the servers tending our table was horrible. Very bad change from the last time i was here.

WAY overpriced for the quality of food. Maybe one step above Outback but charged like it’s in the same league as The Capital Grille. Sat in a booth with a torn vinyl seat. Enough said. THE ONLY REDEEMABLE FEATURE WAS THE SERVICE!

Ive been here a number of times (but it has been a year since my last visit). Downtown Atlanta has very few options with good food, good menus, and good service...and this is the best. I had a soup, a classic filet, a loaded baked potato and some wine. All were perfect, and the bartenders gave perfect service. As long as you like the menu - if you want guaranteed good service and good food - this is the place to go in downtown. Midtown (and elsewhere a bit out) have some great options, but after CUTS, the best service downtown will be Hooters (seriously).

Nice restaurant with a good ambient. The meat was very good and our waiter advised us on a very good wine at reasonable price. We might come back the next time

We came here after a weekend long cheer competition looking for real food. We had kids aged 7-11 with us and were seated in a rear quiet part of the restaurant. It was perfect. The food was excellent as was the service. I normally get steak at a steakhouse but decided on the Salmon. It was out of this world good-the best I've been served at a restaurant! My husband and the others in my party had steak all good and cooked as requested. Would highly recommend.

Me and a couple of girlfriends were in town staying at at the Marriott and wanted to walk to get dinner. We made a reservation, arrived and were seated. Ordered drinks and appetizers which were fabulous. Ordered our entree, Steak, Shrimp and Grits and lobster. One lobster tail was fried and one broiled. The fried one was absolutely horrible. Mush like it was frozen and then maybe flash fried. I asked the server to touch it and she agreed something was terribly wrong. I also told her not bring another as that one kinda ruined my taste to have lobster again for a long time. The manager did come over and apologized but when i got my bill I was charged $58.00 for lobster. Really. I did not take this out on the server and left a good tip. Overall the steaks were ok. Very disappointed! Fleming's and Ruth Chris have nothing to worry about :)

Entertaining service from our waiter. Cowboy steak was cooked very well (charred but medium rare) and collard greens were tasty. Peppercorn sauce lacked a bit of bite. But overall food was good. Surprisingly the venue (which is very large) was a little deserted for Halloween 🎃

Beautiful setting, good service but very expensive overall..... I am not talking about the 18% tip added to the bill, bringing the sum 200 dollars for 150 dollars of meals, that is 2 drinks and 2 meats. Not to be recommended.

We checked in to our Atlanta hotel on a very busy Saturday an knew that we would have to eat in the hotel or eat late. Checking online we found that Cuts served Prime Rib and a table could be reserved for 8pm which we did. I started with the Shrimp Cockatail, my wife with the Iceberg Wedge. We were just in time to secure the last two Prime Ribs of the evening and they were delicious.

Excellent selection of steaks , wonderful Choice of seasonsings , toppings and sauces . The steaks were cooked perfectly . The decor was simple with a hint of elegance .

My recent visit to Cuts was a business gathering of 7. I had the 8 oz tenderloin medium rare with lump crab and Bernnaise sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly and the lump crab was actually lump crab! A gorgeous meal.

Mike and Brianna were amazing and delivered great service and amazing food. The filet was delicious and the sides like fries and spinach was great!

Was in town for a business/pleasure trip. Ended up eating at Cuts for a couples dinner on night and couples lunch a few days later. The steaks are phenomenal and you can pretty much get a aged steak in any size all the way up to 70 ounces. Lobster and shrimp are also great. The service was on point. Long list of bourbon choices. Would definitely recommend. Note- if you have to ask how much it costs then dont eat here. This is a high end location with top quality food. The price is proportional.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience. The service was spectacular. We loved the home made kettle chips and I thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and grits.

With a diverse menu which of course includes 21 day aged steaks there shouldn't be anyone who can't find something to please. Number of chicken, fish and even duck entrees are included. Many dinners have vegetables and/or potatoes with them but the signature steaks are al carte. I had the 14oz ribeye and while it wasn't Morton's or Ruths Chris it was pretty good. A decent wine list and a couple of wines by the glass for most styles. Limited desserts but (about 4 and they were out of one) but the food service and tempo was good. We were are party of 20 that ordered off the menu and all the food came out quickly and I saw no one send anything back. A good choice in a sea of restaurants in this convention area.

Horrible 1st time experience... thumbs down . The waiter was very homophobic. I told him in the beginning of the night it was my husband’s birthday and when it’s time for desert to sing happy birthday. He assured me that was no problem and he would definitely bring out desert and sing happy birthday. After the dinner was served by a bus boy, he waited until we were finished eating to check up on us again. My husband’s Cuts Ribeye signature steak was ordered medium rare, which should be pink throughout with a hint of red in the center. It was rare (touch or seared brown around the edges and bloody cold red throughout. It was tough to cut and chew, but he ate it because he didn’t want to take a chance sending it back and having it come out overdone, and besides, the server (an older Black man named Brandon), didn’t check on us until the end of the meal so it would have been too late to send it back anyway. When he finally checked on us, and asked us if everything was ok, my husband reluctantly told him that he was disappointed in his steak because it was too undercooked. The waiter only stated, “Why didn’t you tell me and I would have had it recooked?” We explained we didn’t want to take a chance having it come back out well done, and everything else was ok otherwise. End of the night came and he said the kitchen is closed, no desert available and just hands us our check and walks away. He never brought out a birthday dessert, sang happy birthday, or even acknowledged my husband’s birthday by saying Happy Birthday. Meanwhile, he definitely knew about it, and we watched him Sing Happy Birthday to a young black woman at the table across from us, which was a party of 6 young black women, and made a point of telling them that her dessert was on the house. I even went out of my way to compliment the waiter on his singing voice. There’s no way he could forget about my husband’s birthday. I was upset, so I asked the bus boy to speak to the manager. I wanted to leave only 5% tip to teach him a lesson to pay better attention, but my husband insisted I give him at least 10%, which I did for my husband to feel more comfortable and not embarrass him. When the manager came over, he apologized and said he understood why my husband didn’t want to send back the steak, and said he was sorry about the waiter missing my birthday, and offered to bring out a free piece of cheesecake, which he did. On the way out, my husband was humiliated as he overheard the pos bigot/homophobe Brandon complaining at the bar to the bartender, another server and in earshot of the manager that he refuses to sing happy birthday to “him”, which obviously either meant “a white man” or “a gay man”. If he didn’t want to sing happy birthday to a man, he should have sent over a different waiter or waitress to do it, or at least acknowledge his birthday. My husband was so mortified and pissed that he demanded to see the manager again and complain about what he overheard. The manager apologized again and said he was talking to him at that moment trying to get him to stop, and that it was unprofessional and he would address it with him. The manager should have comped our meal, or at least my husband’s meal. Horrible service.

Food is just mediocre. They do not use prime steaks. Fries were good. Service was excellent althought a bit slow with food coming out to table. Of course, this is a kitchen issue, not a server issue. Nice environment. Also, note that on Open Table there were no reservations yet I called the restaurant and was given a reservation. Saw others getting walk-in service. Lots of empty tables were available.

We were in town for a family visit, looking for a steak house to celebrate my son's birthday. Wanted better than Outback/Texas Roadhouse but lower price that the top steak places in town. Cuts met that expectation well. Upscale, good service and ambiance. Not the best steak dinner I've ever eaten but above the chains and still quite good, no complaints with the food. Cost was inline with expectations at about $80/person including shared salad, entry, sides and desert plus a cocktail. The only real disappointment/concern was virtually no COVID adjustments. Servers had masks on/up about 60% of the time. No spacing between tables, every table was full. We sat in a booth back to back with other booths and a large party adjacent. If this were pre-covid, no issues, but it did leave me a little uneasy about what might be coming after eating there (so far so good).

We found Cuts walking around downtown and decided to try it. It was excellent. My wife had the Prime Rib which was huge, perfectly cooked, tender and delicious. I had the Cuts Ribeye which was tender and delicious. Service was excellent. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 was the cost. The wine portions were on the skimpy size for the cost. Also salad and sides were an extra cost, and not inexpensive. That said, it is downtown Atlanta and everything is more expensive there, and I am a bit "cheap" as my wife says. So take that as you will. But, again, overall it was a wonderful dinner.

This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. First of all, everything is over priced which is fine as long as it comes with a good service, the staff and manager were rude and communication was awful. People go to Mortons of even capital grille instead of trying this over priced low trained restaurant.

The service was excellent. The atmosphere was very nice. The menu says very directly that steaks ordered medium well or well done cannot be guaranteed to cook level. I ordered a petite filet and asked for it to be cooked to a perfect medium. I assumed that because of the quality of service and attention to detail that I was going to have the most delicious steak I had ever had. However, it was placed before me in a perfect almost cooked to medium rare. I asked my husband what he thought and he said that it was cooked pretty good for him as he likes his steak very medium rare. For the price we paid, I was expecting it to be a perfect cook. I was disappointed to say the least. I sent it back to be cooked and when it came back, it was charred on one side and still not to a medium in the middle. I ate as much of it as I could and didn’t complain again. I don’t mind paying for quality but do expect to get what I am paying for.

Marsha was awesome. Food was great. Amazing service. The location was convenient. Marsha was so attentive and courtesy. She went above and beyond.

Even though I was not impressed with the venue (e.g., decor, ambience) per se, my meal was excellent -- ranging from appetizers to salad to entree -- I had salmon served with mashed potatoes. You might be thinking "salmon and mashed potatoes, really?," but the preparation was totally delicious. I did not see the wine list -- but I was impressed by some of the wines ordered for the table -- it must be a good one!

My wife, trusting Trip Advisors reviews, reserved a table Friday night before a concert the following night. Just a short walk from the Ritz Charlton. We arrived and were immediately seated. Obviously you are a carnivore if you come to a place called Cuts .Having only eaten aged beef once before, I was excited to select my Cut. I chose the NY Strip with lemon butter sauce and topped with mushrooms. Everything was fantastic! The atmosphere was low lit and romantic. We added a bottle of good red wine. Needless to say we were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend to anyone!

Very typical steakhouse. Good service, fine food. Nothing was over the top and nothing overly disappointing. Worth checking out

Finding myself in Atlanta over my wedding anniversary, my husband flew in to join me. Plans were sort of a bust and in an attempt to just do something, we wandered into Cuts Steakhouse and sat at the bar for dinner. That's when we met Billy and everything turned around. The food - excellent. I had the Southern Fried Lobster Tails (and couldn't finish it all). My husband had the filet and it was cooked to perfection. We each got desert and we won't agree on whose was better (but it was my Apple Cobbler). Service - Billy made it super fun and special. He offered helpful ordering tips as well as directed us where we should go after dinner for a drink. So grateful we stumbled into Cuts!

A group of friends are in ATL for the Woman Thou Art Loosed Conference and we were looking for a place to eat while on our break. We found this restaurant which was highly rated on TA. So we decided to try it. It is a half mile walk from the Centennial park-up a hill and down a hill. But not too bad. Three of us got the “cuts steak” which was marinated in tropical juices and topped with pineapple ginger. The steaks were 12 ounce ribeyes cooked to order. Everyone was pleased with the temperature of their steak. This particular steak came with garlic mashed potatoes. The plain ribeye was a la carte. I got the knife and fork Cobb which was sizable and very good. The wait staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend making reservations on days with big conferences. We rated this experience a 5.0 bc the service with short staff and the food was really good. Check them out.

Was really torn about whether to give 3 or 4 stars at Cuts as the food was exceptional but the service was wanting or in our case left us waiting. Party of eight celebrating a Birthday on a not so busy Saturday night. We were seated quickly and wine and appetizers quickly ordered. Initially the service was great, water glasses kept charged, appetizers out early and wine flowing. Once we ordered our entrees things quickly ground to a halt. We literally couldn’t find our waitress or other staff. The meal took 3 hours, a little too leisurely for me. Food, primarily steaks were expertly cooked and very tasty, fried lobster tail equally good. Sides like potatoes Luke warm at best but with no staff to complain too we to our cold lumpy potatoes and ate. Like I said upfront food was great, meal started great but then our wait staff disappeared. The dinner cost me close to a grand, I expect much better.

Went here on a business dinner. I was a little unsure as I’d read some less than favorable reviews. I ordered the small filet. It was very flavorful and perfect with bernaise sauce. The atmosphere was nice as well. It was quiet and didn’t feel tables were on top of one another.

This steakhouse is amazing! I made a reservation with open table and was immediately welcomed when I walked in the door. My table was centrally located with a view of downtown. My boyfriend had the steak and I had the burger. The food was to die for. We enjoyed the collard greens as well.

I am very surprised at the high rating this restaurant has on trip advisor. Our experience was not good. So much in fact that I am writing this review; which is somethingI seldom do. The steak was not at the level of a high quality steak house. I had the bone in ribeye. It was very tough to cut, tasted just ok and much of it was undercooked. My mom had the rack of lamb: it was over cooked and tasted just ok. Fortunately we asked for the pesto sauce on the side. We tried the pesto sauce just to see how it would be. The combination was just how you would expect it to be , Horrible. Lamb with pesto sauce? What an awful idea. Waiters were uninformed. One waiter opened my wife’s napkin sending the silverware into the plate towards my 7 month old child with a big clang. Waiter offered a half hearted apology. We have had great food on our trip to Atlanta (cafe intermezzo, Saltwood at Loews hotel etc.) so we were surprised at how poor this experience was. On our last trip to Atlanta we had a great steak house experience. Unfortunately we don’t remember the name of that restaurant. Bottom line is that I am sure you could have a much better steakhouse experience elsewhere in Atlanta.

Tucked just outside downtown this lovely restaurant offers inside dining with a great atmosphere or a lovely patio

My wife and I ate here recently. What we found was a staff that was very attentive without feeling rushed nor neglected. The price of the food is on the higher (but not excessive). The menu is a combination of ala carte and some meals that include potato and vegetable. We both were looking for a dish that was not going to go to waste as we were in town for a convention. We went with the Steak Au Poivre* which was excellent. We shared a Caesar salad and we were very happy. The steak was very tender and just the right amount of food. The drinks are not cheap, but if you limit it to one and a meal, the price is not that bad. Just be warned, at the bottom of the menu, they state they will charge you an 18% service (tip) fee. When you get your credit card bill, they still show a spot for a tip so just be warned otherwise you will be double tipping. This was my biggest negative. Overall, a very positive experience. Worth stopping in and enjoying a meal.

We were in Atlanta just for one night, and this restaurant was close to our hotell. The staff is excellent. Good food and a long winelist. Really cozy restaurant, even tough it is quite large.

Business dinner for 4. I they were busy, but the service was far too slow. It took us almost 30 minutes to get our first round of cocktails. Each round, was similar, as our glasses were empty far too often. For appetizers we did a combo and the risotto balls were be far the best. The short rib was very dry and tough. My steak was good and cooked perfectly, but my potato too cold to melt the butter. At this price point, I expected better

Where to begin?? The food is terrible and pricey. The steak was ordered medium well and came out raw. The burgers were ordered well done and, while hard and crispy on the outside, were rare in the middle and very pink on the edges. The mashed potatoes were very clearly from a box reconstituted and not fresh. The French fries were limp and very greasy. Okay, the complimentary bread was tasty. The Coke was good, but came from a tiny bottle so you would need to pay extra for a refill. The ambiance is okay. We wanted to eat on the nice patio but the restaurant said they didn’t want to open it because it was supposed to rain in about 2-3 hours. Um, okay, so my table couldn’t be done by then? The server was very nice but not at all attentive. When my burger came, I asked for mustard. He never came back…I actually had to ask a different server. From plate to mustard was 12 minutes. I really didn’t need it by then. When the bill came, we were overcharged by $14. They charged dinner rather than lunch price. They did fix it but still… Honestly, we ate at two restaurants downtown and both were very expensive and bad. Maybe the lesson is don’t eat downtown!!

After a day that started with a 5 a.m. trip to the airport, and a lunchtime arrival at my Atlanta hotel, I was wiped out, tired, cranky, unfed. But Cuts, a steakhouse in downtown Atlanta, looked interesting from the outside and so I made my way there, feeling slightly less than human (and clearly suffering from some kind of low blood sugar experience). When I walked out an hour or so later, there was a spring in my step and in my eyes, because it was just a lovely, lovely experience, all around. Start with the service. I lucked into – on this quiet late lunch time – a waiter named Frank, who reminded me of an experience I had some years ago at highly revered (and Michelin-starred) Inn at Little Washington. At that storied restaurant, waiters’ take diners’ moods into consideration and work as hard to convey hospitality as its chefs cook great dishes. He took my emotional temperature, was gentle and ebullient, knew the menu, made great recommendations, got me drinks toot suite (I especially appreciated the ice-cold water, but the wine was good too!). Terrific menu, the burger looked good, and it was better; it was superb. Cooked to medium rare perfection, it was delicious but oh, my the fries! They were dusted with cilantro and some parmesan, so incredibly delicious. Frank was intuitive enough to know when to chat and when to let me enjoy my book, and it was a restoring meal. I didn’t need dessert, but tried a beautiful apple streusel option, at Frank’s suggestion, and it was light, oddly enough, perfectly light. The burger was almost too cheap to be true -- $10 – so much better than the $18 lifeless version I had the next day at White Oak. Great spot. Try it.

Absolutely delicious shrimp and grits and added a side wedge salad. My friend had an amazing burger served with outrageous fries. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere inside was beautiful, and the service was impeccable! And all this for a price that won’t kill the budget!

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening while on a business trip as it was recommended by the hotel staff and I was looking for something close by. I sat at the bar and was served immediately. The place was not overly crowded and I was able to watch Sunday Night Football while I ate. The bartenders offered recommendations. I ordered the Filet Mignon at market price (at the time $45), the garlic cilantro fries, and a glass of wine. The steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were delicious! I also ordered dessert - apple crisp and it was also pretty good.
Disappointed
We had reservations for 6:30 and were seated promptly. From there, things went downhill. Our server was new- which is not a crime at all. However, he was very incompetent. Our entree was served just a few minutes after we received our salad. When the entrees were delivered my husband informed the server the order was wrong. The server assured us that it was right, no, it was not. Then he got the ticket out and showed us what he had written down. Ok, still wrong, completely wrong. Our order was sent back and fixed. We were walking out of the restaurant at 7:20. Dinner at a upscale steakhouse in 50 minutes? Can you say rushed in and out?! Not our cup of tea.
