Ate there on business. Great bar and fantastic service. Staff is very knowledgeable about the beer, wine, and bourbon selections. Had the filet with blue cheese potatoes. Temperature was good. Service was awesome. Recommend.

I have never dined at Dantannas Surf & Turf and was very pleased with the luncheon menu, service and food. The Caesar salad with Salmon was great as the salmon was cooked perfectly the way it was ordered. The service was terrific. I would like to come back for dinner.

My family walked there from the JW Marriott so it was very convenient. I ordered the rib-eye which was quite good. One of my companions ordered a chicken salad that was so hot with spices she could not eat it. In fact the young men in our party couldn't eat it either. The wait staff was wonderful and extremely attentive. It was during the NBA playoffs so they were slammed but our food came in a timely fashion. I most likely never go here again but it was interesting while I was there.

Came here while on business. Watched the Golden State game while eating dinner. Ordered the caeser salad which was decent. The tialapia sandwich was made like a Reuben but needed more tialapia. The she crab soup needed some crab in it. The gumbo was not edible. The caprese salad was good. Service was good as was atmosphere.

Was visiting Atlanta staying at the Westin there in Buckhead, and Dantanna's is just a short walk down Lenox Road. It is a pleasant, spacious space. The service was great. And the food could not be better for this type of restaurant. If you work in Buckhead, or are visiting there on business, this is a great choice for either a business or family lunch.

Great service and extensive menu options. Wished I had ordered the Krispy Kreme inspired dessert--I will have to return when in the area. Sesame Steak skewers was a great appetizer-wished it was an entree! Conveniently located behind the Westin Buckhead hotel and next to the Lenox Shoppes.

I had the mahi mahi sandwich with fries. It was cooked perfectly! The best I’ve had. Huge portion with tasty sauces. Love it when someone in authority personally visits your table to ask how the food is and if you have any issues. Will definitely dine here again.

Decor resembles a high end sports bar. Only eat outside if you are immune to cigar smoke. There is a cigar shop in the back of the restaurant so patrons sample their purchases outside. The spicy blue crab fingers were an excellent appetizer. Both of us had seafood dinners which was good. Many families with children were at the restaurant due to the menu appeal for all ages. Although the decor is very dark inside, I would not recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner or special occasion outing.

took the peppered salmon plate on saturday night. felt dizzy during the night and was sick all day on sunday. Thank you Dantanna's for cheap and not fresh food!

We had a reservation for a large party and Chris was our server. He was personable and added to the ambience of the restaurant and our table. The food was so good! We had wings, filets, salmon, Mac and cheese, garlic spinach, lobster tail, basically the whole menu. No one had any issues with their food. And their bread pudding is by far the best I’ve ever had. Do not skip the bread pudding! We will make this a stop every trip now. Amazing food and service and we love the cigar bar.

We were delighted to have such a great server! Jonathan really knew the menu and helped us make some great selections! Lots of tv's so any game you want to watch is available. I'm not a cigar smoker...so sitting outside wasn't an option. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner and would return!

We've been eating here for ten years on business trips and they have always served great food and this October (2016) was no different. They accommodate large groups very well. A diverse menu for everyone from vegan to heavy beef is available!

Got there just before 6 and got half price local brews. Appetizer of oysters rockerfeller was excellent, instead of steak and seafood we had duck and the pork rib. Both were very good. For dessert we had the Krispy Kreme bread pudding - it exceeded expectations. Nice atmosphere and good service.

Very courteous and professional staff. Our server was nice. The manager stopped by the table to thank us for visiting. Food was very good with decent portions. Ambiance was quiet (not many dining) but looks like it could get noisy when busy. Would definitely recommend. Westin Hotel has valet and self parking.

My husband and I went for lunch one day before doing some shopping. We were there mid-day - around 1. The first restaurant in the mall that we walked into had a 45 minute wait so we decided on Dantanna's across the street. There was no wait and it was relatively empty. It took our server a long time to come over and we soon realized she had tables all over the restaurant - one in the bar, one way across the room and a couple of others. Not sure why that was since there seemed to be plenty of staff. Everything we ordered took a very long time to be delivered. Our appetizer came out before our bar drinks and we had to remind our server what we ordered. I ordered a salad and my husband got a sandwich but they honestly took so long that we considered leaving. The worst part was that we couldn't find our server and none of the other servers seemed willing to make eye contact. Finally, as we were literally about to just leave some cash and go, she reappeared and seemed surprised and then went to retrieve our food. We should have waited the 45 minutes for the other restaurant because we ended up being at Dantanna's just as long! Food was unremarkable - certainly not worth the aggravation.

My wife had the peppered salmon filet. I had the Tavern burger. Everything was good. Our server, Darryl, was personable.

We decided on Dantanna's- Buckhead while in ATL because it was easy to get to from Dntn and had a cigar lounge in the back. We wanted a nice meal but not "too" nice. This was a great choice- Dantanna's is a mix of a nice steakhouse with good solid food & is also an upscale sports bar. Our service from the moment we entered was amazing. We were greeted by 3 lovely young ladies at the host stand and seated immediately. Our waitress was excellent too! The steaks were very good and exactly as ordered, but the star of the show here is the mac & cheese! Seriously, if in the area, I'd make a special trip just for that! The fact that I could smoke a cigar after dinner, inside, at the same place, in a comfy chair, relax and watch a game- very rare these days! The cigar lounge is a separate entity, but they cooperate nicely. The humidor is serious! It's like opening an issue of Aficionado- they feature the best of the best and some very rare and hard to find beauties! the My Father line, a FULL LINE of Liga Privada's, I found a La Palina- Goldie [not a lancero, but... still], some Opus X's, San Crisobal Revelation, full Davidoff selection and so on. Go here and spend $! Have fun, enjoy the food, watch a game, smoke a cigar, bring a few home! I want this place to still be here when I come back to ATL!

Private smoking lounge with personal service. Cable tv in each unit, although tv channel is controlled by management. Food is top notch. I had the daily special. The salmon sandwich with mashed sweet potatoes. Excellent! Carinne (sp) was my server. She was very sweet and helpful. Coffee was excellent too. Cigars are a bit high, food could have been a bit hotter in temp, but over all a great spot. I will return.

Checked in to the Westin (next door) late at night and walked over to Dantanna's for a late dinner! Great burgers and great salad! Service was very good as well.

High-end, fixtures, friendly staff, yummy food, tons of TV's, eclectic bar offerings and a PERFECT location made Dantanna's one of the highlights of my trip to Atlanta. Upscale, but not stuffy and ready for all comers - from families with young kids, to those interested in a sultry, soft place to land. Was there 5 days and visited 3 times (very unusual for me)! Will definitely go back...

Atmosphere similar to insert random steakhouse here, with random memorabilia meets dark room decor. Entry odor is unfortunate, largely fishy and not in a good way. I get you sell seafood, but too fishy is well...fishy. Ordered steak, because it's steak with pepper. Steak was okay, might have been great if kitchen staff was able to follow simple directions. Medium rare is not Medium well. Not any place I would go out of my way to go back to.

Had a business dinner with appetizers for one hour in a private room. The food was exquisite and the staff very friendly. I would eat here every day if I could.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The atmosphere was of greatness, then along came the service and then the meal. The food was very well prepared. I had the shrimp with broccoli and fries. One other dish at the table was oysters on the half shell. Once again all well prepared. Ask for Calvin at the bar he will add more to your visit. You need to try it and I know you will like it.

Sometimes after working long hard days one just wants to find a decent meal that is not necessarily five-star dining. Displays perfectly fits that bill. Can you exit the world Congress Center simply take a left and slightly down the hill and on the right. Although you might be eating here out of convene are experience wise the meal and the service very good. We actually ate there tonight so the fact that we came back the second night speaks to the Relative quality of the mail. The star on both nights was the appetizer for Kajun crab claws. They were larger and meatier than most hey very good. The grouper sandwich is also very good as were bison burgers. Don’t be afraid to stop in here you can get a good deal. The only complaint was that on the second night they were sold out of at least half dozen i’ve their entrées but in their defense the huge trade show just let out And they were slammed

This is a great location behind Lenox Mall. We went early so it wasn't too crowded, but it started to fill up after about 10 minutes. Lots of tv screens, great wait staff and a very good menu. I ordered the cioppino, and it was excellent. They are known for their steaks, but neither of us had one. Great drinks menu also. The service was a little slow; not sure what the problem was. Some of the fare was same ole same ole fried stuff, and that is unappealing to me although some like it. Try this place when there is a good game on and have a great time.

First, I was traveling on business by myself. I asked the hostess for a table for one by a TV. She told me to go sit in the bar-how rude. I sit at the bar and order a Dantannas burger. It was awful! It was charred and had no flavor. I'd rather had a burger from Burger King. The bartender never checked on me or asked or cared. The couple next to me had a pork chop. She said it was nothing to right home about. As far as the bar, it was fun to watch football. So as a bar would say it was a good bar to go to. Just don't eat there.

The food and our waitress Carmille both were great which is the main reason for the 3 stars because if it was just based upon the disrespect and rudeness of the Scott Saltzman the Mgr I would have barely given it 1 star, one of the people at the table decided they wanted to order something different, how's the waitress before the order was made and told her then he came over and said you can't be just switching food whenever you want to and then proceeded to compare her to someone else who order a $100 steak and then say they don't want it so you changing your order is like we're throwning away $100 steak (and it was an appetizer) so if you ordered it you need to eat it. WTH how do you compare 1 table to the rest of your guest. He doesn't need to be in anyone's management role.

The beer was good; the food was decent but not awesome. Server was very nice and attentive. Best part-- I left my baseball cap and a day and a half later they had it waiting for me. And this was during the Shaky Knees festival.

The food was really tasty and delicious. Service was good. Very genuine feel to the restaurant. Sides were great with the pork chops. I highly recommend the garlic spinach.

Dantanna's was recommended by a hotel employee nearby. I stopped in at almost 3:00 pm for lunch, so the crowd was slim. Good sized sports-bar with some patio tables. Also is a cigar bar it says, but I'm not sure where exactly that is. I had the blackened grouper sandwich. It was quick, spicy and piping hot! No complaints!

The food here is great and so is the service...not sure why though but they allow cigar smoking on the outside patio which is a bit disturbing, especially if the person(s) smoking are close by. We left there with smoke in our clothes and hair. Other than that the place is an awesome place to watch sports, eat good food and drink good wine! :)

I am from Dallas so I am not sure if the approach the GM at this location named Rob is considered standard in Atlanta. A peer of mine and I dined at this location restaurant yesterday evening. After dinner we decided that there were 2 major basketball games on and would go sit at the bar and enjoy a beverage. I proceeded to ask the bar tender if he would mind turning one of the 6 televisions to the highly anticipated Laker game which was Kobe Bryants final game. He informed me that they would not and the Golden State game is what was decided to be played that evening. I then politely asked him to ask his manager if he could switch one of the side televisions... When the manager came over to address our request one would have literally thought I had insulted his mother by asking him to perform such a task. His response and attitude was truly embarrassing so much so that the folks sitting all around us were completely astonished. I then made sure to inform Rob that I would be certain to write up a review towards his behavior towards us at which point he responded with "Is that a threat?" and took both of our drinks which we had paid for away and threw them away. He then came around the bar proceeded to attempt to embarrass us by walking us out the restaurant and came face to face with my peer becoming extremely aggressive. I was under the assumption that this place was a high end steakhouse/sports bar but this was far from.... I encourage ownership to review footage of this incident before additional clients experience the same treatment from a figurehead of the restaurant. I would never come back to this establishment on my travels to Atlanta and do not recommend it.

one of the few open after 11 pm in Buckhead, the service was great, Food was average for a Bar style menu. A little pricey per say but , meet the late night , late arrival demand for a burger.

This is a cool hang out in Buckhead next to the Mall. If you are looking for a cool place to hangout and take/meet friends this is it.

I took my team here for dinner on our first night in town. Short walk from the Westin Buckhead. While service and management were extremely polite, I always had a long wait to give an order for another beer and then a long wait to get it. I ordered the salmon cooked well and received raw.

I went here with some business colleagues and had a very pleasant meal. The food was on the upper end of ok, not fantastic. The service was a little bit lacking. Overall a pleasant meal but a little on the pricy side for the experience.

Just let me tell you how good the 8 oz Filet Mignon with the Dantanna's rub and Mushroom is with asparagus and potato salad, the filet was cook just prefect the way I love it with tons of flavor bursting into my mouth every bite was as just good as the last. Now the asparagus was also made so out of this world with the texture and crisp on the outside with very juicy inside flavor that had my taste buds craving for more. To top it all off our waitress took our orders and served us with the most beautiful "key lime pie smile" I have ever seen. She was a great hostess with the mostess and we was again surprised to find out that her twin sister was also working here.. Great Place..

Great food, amazing interior design, close to the Westin Buckhead and very friendly staff. We were pleased.

Being in the US and coming from a meat mad country we decided to look for a steak near our hotel. I had a sirloin and vegetables, that was good. However, my wife had the beef ribs, unfortunately it was just about fat and some of it looked very dry..

Ideally located, within walking distance from 4 and 5-star hotels, this Dantanna's is a favorite of travelers. At the edge of famed Lennox Square shopping area, you can expect excellent steak and seafood choices. Oh, the deserts (brownie sundae?) so good. Good staff. Our waiter Chris handled our party of 8 with ease.

This restaurant is located right next to the Westin Hotel. I ate here twice because I loved the trout entree. It's delicious!

We found Dantanna's by accident when looking for something to eat on a Tuesday night after arriving from Orlando where we were staying on holiday from Scotland. It was a great find! Food was all made to order and was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. I can't remember our waiter's name unfortunately but he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and beers that the restaurant offered. Our 7 year old son was even satisfied! It has plenty of large screen TV's for sport so would be good for a few beers as well! If you're in Atlanta I would recommend Dantanna's for a meal. Prices are slightly above average but the food is freshly made to order and is excellent and worth the money.

This was our second trip to Dantanna's. The first wasn't that great. This time, everything was awesome. We were greeted by 3 different people as soon as we walked in the door; all smiles. Now this is a "sports-ish bar" but they have plenty of seating away from the crowd. We had what I would define as the "perfect waitress" her name was Ashley. She is a true Doll. From the moment we got there to the exit at the door, she got us anything and everything we needed. The food was perfect. For Apps: we ordered (2) pretzels and the cajun chicken egg rolls. Both out of this world! For Entrees: we got the Beer Battered Shrimp and the Rosemary Chicken. Excellent choices, can't go wrong. The Chef (Chris Bryant) came to our table to see if we were enjoying our food, he was so sweet, and the Manager (Shirley) did as well. Everyone was just so nice, southern charm at its best. If you go to Dantanna's, ask for Ashley. She will make your night!

On a recent business dinner we elected to take advantage of the excellent weather and hold our business dinner for a party of 6 on the patio The appetizers of crab claws, baked goat cheese and oysters were all very tasty. For main entrees we had a variety of things from crab cakes to steak. Their variety of different mashed potatoes were all top notch. The service was the only downside. It was very hit or miss for the entire meal. Average meal with drinks will average $50 per person based on our meal

Excellent service, good drink variety and expansive menu. Had the Reuben sandwich and it was very good. The real winner was the potato salad, so good!!! Would love to go back.

Absolutely horrendous the steaks were overcooked the broccoli was cold the potato salad was rancid we made sure that we checked in with the management to let them know that we were expecting a wonderful experience especially after reading all of the reviews and the fact that my husband has been entertaining there for years. Unfortunately the management never made any attempt to rectify the situation which says volumes about the restaurant they need to revamp the total place because there is a serious problem With quality. On one positive note our server Amanda tried to be especially helpful and diligent but I don’t think she knew exactly what to do our meal should’ve been taken off or adjusted or a dessert brought Again there was no mention of rectifying the situation. This is the last time and that they will get my money.

Ate here for a business dinner. Wasn't that crowded but the food was excellent. I ordered a ribeye and tuna steak. It was awesome. Our waiter was very helpful and gave us lots of menu advice. We would love to come back.

Food is good. Quality and taste are very good. Kitchen may got confused, dishes came late, some were cold, others over cooked. They need to pay attention.

We visited for lunch on a wonderful sunny afternoon. The patio was a perfect place to watch a little football and have a great burger. Just a little note, the space between tables is rather small. This is not a place to bring small kids or to let them out of the seat. The wait staff was challenged on the busy patio to avoid loose children. Food and service was excellent.

We went with another couple to celebrate an anniversary. The staff was very friendly, the food was very good and we enjoyed ourselves very much. The lunch menu was given to us accidentally and it actually had more on it that we may have ordered at dinner, however, it wasn't on the dinner menu. A little disappointed at that.

We were looking for a new place to have lunch on our way out of Buckhead, and found Dantanna's on the T/A website. The restaurant is kind of an upscale sports bar, with very comfortable outside seating on a patio overlooking the Lenox Mall, and where flat screen TV's abound. The inside is very comfortable, and dark, and again has lots of TV's. They also have a Cigar Bar outside for those that enjoy that lifestyle. Our server was Ron, and he was a very pleasant fellow that took excellent care of us. He was very knowledgeable about the food, ingredients and preparation, which helped up make good choices. At Ron's recommendation we tried the Charred Okra, and it was fabulous. A very unique dish that used the whole Okra, and the char from the grill gave it a wonderfully deep taste. The dish is a bit spicy, and the heat, Ron told us, was from chile peppers. It's not too hot, but just enough for us. We got a side of homemade ranch and garlic aioli, both of which complimented the spicy Okra nicely. The wine list was good, not huge, but had good selections. There's nothing like a crisp white on a sunny day, and it was cool and refreshing. I had the Berkshire pork rib chop, which was a little over cooked, but was well-marbled, and the Bearnaise and Fried Oysters that accompanied it, was wonderful. They call this the 'Carpetbagger' setup. They also had a nice, deeply flavored Bourbon reduction that complimented the chop. My wife got a Caesar Salad to start, and very tasty. Unfortunately, the Ribeye Philly Cheese-steak was not even close to the one they serve at Houston's, so I think they have some work to do there. I mean, I'm someone that believes if you're going to put something on your menu, it ought to be the best version of that item you've ever had; or a least close. This was not even close. All in all however, a very good experience, and I highly recommend it. If the sandwich was really good and the chop cooked perfectly medium rare to medium, as ordered, I could have given it 5 stars. But, after all, while all that other 'stuff' is important, I go to restaurants to eat good food.

We stopped to watch the Falcons game and grab lunch. Great lunch options - I loved the "fruben". Think Reuben but with fish and coleslaw. Bloody Mary's were delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. It was easy to get a table at 2 pm on a Sunday. TVs in all the right places for game watching.

We went at 7pm on a Friday. Not busy at all. I ordered the trout and hubby orders lobster cobb salad which were good. For a restaurant that was not busy, service was slow and poor. Our waitress accidentally shook the bottle of speaking water we ordered and it sprayed everywhere-kinda annoying. She was very apologetic and even offered us dessert. We had the key lime pie which was more like a cheesecake. The potato salad was great!! Food was tasty. Service could be much much better.

Went here for brunch We did the all you can eat brunch for $30 which gives you unlimited brunch food from a selected menu. The staff was good and most of the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend going

Krispy Kreme bread pudding dessert to die for. service was great. steak was perfect. could do without every huge tv having a different game. they were a bit bright and glaring. didn't know was sports bar when we went. my margarita was good but served in a water glass- not very professional on bar tenders part. the food was really good. maybe some bread provided would be nice. would go back. not a children's place. too loud. crowded. more a group adult/ couple place.

One of the most horrible experiences that I have ever had a restaurant. Customer service was extremely poor, manager was rude, service as I had bought my mom’s dinner in another bag. The waitress asked me to put the food away; My mom has food allergens and I was going to take her food back to the hotel. There was no name on bag. He asked me to put away; which I obliged. Then, he started to tell me the liability behind outside food, which I didn’t want to hear as I had already placed the food away. We planned to eat at the restaurant—but were disturbed by our treatment and left. They lost several thousand worth of business on this night as I had close to 100+ people with me. One positive recommendation would have spread throughout the organization. Instead, I told everyone about my treatment and blatant disregard and disrespect by staff. None of the group ordered…and will never spend any money here.

we ate here since it was open late. The burger was delicious but the chicken over seasoned . They try hard and the prices are very fair.

ll i just went here to smoke a cigar. I have heard of this place and usually i spend my time at the Cigar City club when i wnat to go smoke a stogie. But this place has avery ncie collection of cigars,a nd a room in the back where you can smoke. Mywife and i were shopping over at Lenox Mall, and stopped here for a cigar then decided to stay and eat dinner on a Friday night. Excellent atmosphere and my steak was cooked to perfection. The staff was all very ncie and I love the fact that when youre food gets to your table they let you eat and dont bother you at all, so you can enjoy the dinner. My wife had the Tilpaia grill sandwich which was amazing itself. will definitley go there agian. Order the Sirloin, cooked to perfection. :) Thank you

We had lunch at Dantanna's. It wasn't too busy, so the service was good. Our orders were all to our liking. I had the top sirloin, which was very good. An enjoyable meal. I will go back if I get the chance.

I'm being very gracious by giving 2. The 2 is solely for the entree. I ordered the Dantannas cioppino and it was tasty, although it needed seasoning and we didnt receive the tools necessary to eat it properly. The service was deplorable and the restroom was filthy. Everything took FOREVER. The ceaser salad was lacking as well, and that's just a salad. I ordered the mimosa flight and the waiter didnt know it had been discontinued over a week ago. A little costly but definitely not worth it. I wouldnt come back here.

We enjoyed the food and drinks at Dantanna's in Buckhead. Nothing spectacular. Nice range of beers on tap. We went outside, inside it was quite noisy.

During a busy college football opening weekend, we got a table right away and the service and food were great. There are TV's everywhere and it is a fun place with decent prices.

We arrived at this restaurant and the food was great...but the service was not as we expected. The table were horribly assisted and the treatment wasn't nice. I think i would give it another try because sometimes is about second chances.

Great sports bar . food was abiove average and wait saff was spot on , we were served quickly . fried bologna sandwich is a thumbs up .

I would consider this and upscale LongHorn steakhouse. We had small appetizers of calamari and crab claws. The crab cause are about the size of french fries and they give you a small basket of calamari. My wife had the short ribs with barbecue sauce on top, which they should have put the barbecue sauce on the side but the short wheels are very tender. My son had the Philly steak and cheese with fries which he said was good and I had seafood gumbo which I have tasted better elsewhere. My daughter had the shrimp Cobb salad which was very good it was a large portion that cost $23, with 6 shrimp. Our bill exceeded $250 with the additional 20% mandatory gratuity added in. I could have had a better meal and a cheaper price at longhorns or outback.

We made reservations for a large party. Upon arriving, the host split us into 2 groups in different sections of the restaurant although there were 2 side by side tables that could have easily accommodated us all together. We were told the unused table was reserved however after a 2+ hour dinner, that table went unseated. There is a wonderful craft beer selection on draft featuring several local brews. Our server was Ariana and she was superb. We had 12 (well mannered and behaved) preteen girls with us and she didn't bat an eye. I am vegetarian so I selected the Gouda mac & cheese and seared okra. Both were very good. Most of my friends ordered steak which some reported was a tad overdone for their taste but not so much that it warranted sending food back. Besides the snafu with the host who clearly didn't exceed at customer service, our visit was excellent. Our server Ariana was a delight. We will be back.

This was a seriously meh experience and, if I'm being honest, mediocre is about the best I could've hoped for. It's a chain restaurant at CNN Center, so I wasn't expecting anything revolutionary. The fish and chips were disappointing - bland (if any) seasoning used for coating; the fish was mushy and generally blah. The wasabi tuna represented a vague "wasabiesque" quality at best, and the cut of tuna was poor. We got the impression that our server was new and seemed quite confused and generally not interested. So overall, a relatively forgettable experience.

My wife and I visited while staying in Buckhead this past weekend. VERY long wait for service although we were seated promptly and the tables in our section were not all full. Then a long wait for the appetizers, which arrived about 3 minutes before our entrees. The crab/artichoke dip tasted like it came out of a jar. My wife had the baked goat cheese which was...let's just say....not good. Then my New York Strip came; I ordered it medium rare and it was medium well/well done. I asked them if they could redo it and they did - it came out about 5 minutes after my wife finished her entire meal. The server seemed disinterested and preoccupied. So I must say, while it wasn't exorbitantly expensive (~$100/two) I certainly expected better.

We had burgers. They were ok. They had a place to sit and eat with TVs and that was the best thing. I had a burger with fatty bacon and a very runny egg. Made it hard to eat. My co-workers had the same impression of the place. Just stay in the food court and eat fast food at a lower price.

Family get to gether. No wait to get 12 seated. We sat outside so the cigar smoke was present from the near by designated area. The service was good. The food was excellent.

Attended dinner with a larger group in a private room with 2 dedicated servers who did an excellent job of recommending dishes for various tastes as well as drinks for accompaniment. The room also had a near life-sized television, so there was not worry about getting a good view. The crab finger appetizers were excellent as well as the substantial egg rolls. Those could be a meal for a smaller group. The fish, poultry, beef and pork were all prepared as ordered and substantial portions. The desserts were worth saving some room with the usual chocolate cake.

I had blackened red fish with grits. It was very good. My wife had the 6oz. filet mignon. She said it was excellent! The restaurant is located in the CNN building.

We had 50 middle schoolers at the CNN center food court. We tried this place. It was not crowded at all. The waiter was very blunt, but service was good. Food was good. Sweet tea was excellent.

Land of the free, home of the football. Man I love Dantannas. It is old school but that also makes it a classic. There are few other places in BUCKHEAD where I can go for a diverse crowd and some good wings when it is playoff time. Also for lunch during the week I love to venture here for a good burger! I've always found the service to be quick and efficient, even on a crazy Gameday! The staff has a lot of patience and is very attentive. The bar area hasn't gotten too terribly crowded, and the big screen is MTV cribs worthy! Usually I come with a group but once among the crowd we make friends and friendly enemies. I like how comfortable the atmosphere is. There is some great people watching too. Quick tips: Try a mule Eat the sirracha wings Burgers are clutch They have a Cigar Bar Egg rolls are yummy too

This restaurant was next door to my hotel. I watched NFL playoffs with hundreds of others. Great social environment, and the food & drinks were very good.

This was our last outing during our anniversary weekend and it had the best food of all my other outings. We had never visited this restaurant before; we were actually going to try somewhere else, but decided against that place and boy I’m glad we did. The crab cakes with poached eggs was AMAZING!! The trout Made my taste buds dance and the asparagus was perfection. Our waitress was spot on with all of her suggestions. The shrimp in the “fried shrimp and crab” appetizer was very good; the blue carb was ok. My least favorite item was the Oreo cheesecake but luckily for us it was “on the house” for our anniversary. Overall I give it 5 STARS. Food, service, cleanliness & price were on point!!

Food was great general manager accused me and my spouse of smoking weed horrible customer service will not go back there again

I was staying in Buckhead and the concierge recommended a good late night place. Considering it was midnight the was actually excellent as food was good, staff friendly and sport recap shows and replays were on every screen. Food here was as good or better then the Downtown location

Group of four ate mid afternoon and had good service and food from a good, but basic menu. We enjoyed the food and selection of beers. It is located accross from the convention center and can be overwhelmed. We stopped by another day and the staff was trying to accommodate a huge rush. Not a place for a relaxing meal.

This was our first time to the Buckhead location, and we discovered that it has a different menu than the downtown one. The menu has much more to offer. I had the beef rib which was the size of my arm it seemed. It was very good and made for great leftovers. If you’re looking for a better place to watch sports than your average sports bar, this is your place!

Watched Super Bowl LIV here. Great atmosphere, good food, and constant attention from the wait staff. Beef burnt ends and hot wings were really good. Has a private patio area outside, with plenty of sports screens dotted around. Strong recommend for casual dining.

This was my first time at Dantanna's. Hubby had been a few times and wanted to bring me. We sat at the bar and Ron is amazing!!! We cashed out once but had such great conversation with others we stayed instead of bar hopping in the area. When manager Brian came by we 5 "strangers" at the bar all echoed Ron needs a raise!!! We enjoyed the apps and time there. (Pictured are blackened crab claws and Korean fried wings).

Stopped in with some friends to grab some dinner and drinks with friends. The food was okay; about what I expected for the price. The service, as many others have indicated, was incredibly slow. The worst part about it was that the place wasn't even busy. For example, my friend asked for some tartar sauce for his shrimp when they brought the dinner out. He got it when we were all finished with our meals; and we weren't eating fast. They advertise themselves as an upscale sports bar, but all of their TVs are muted. So, think of a decent ambiance of a steakhouse with the food of a chain like Ruby Tuesday's, etc...with a few mounted TVs. The time with friends made the trip there worth it...wouldn't be back on account of the service or the food.

A friend and I dropped in for a glass of wine after a working on a corporate event at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta. Service was excellent and wine was great. It was crowded tonight as the USA v. Argentina soccer game was on all of the TVs and people were cheering and watching. But this did not inhibit our service or quality of service. Great stop-in, great place.

Great Food and excellent service was on the menu at Dantannas tonight. We started with chicken egg rolls followed by ceasar salads with main entrees of fresh fish cooked to perfection The service was top notch even with the restaurant being filled to capacity

It was the playoffs so service was slow. We had the nachos. My husband loved the buffalo burger. I enjoyed the salmon blgt bacon lettuce green tomato. Yummy

The menu had Shecrab soup on it being from Charleston that was so exciting and I was not disappointed. Never have seen it on a menu in Atlanta before and so thrilled. Their calamari has outstanding also. If I lived in Atlanta I would probably just live at that restaurant!! Use to work in Atlanta and so sad that I didn't know about this place. They have a huge menu so there is something for everyone.

This visit to enjoy a nice meal was a disappointment. We made a a reservation and were met with friendly staff. We were seated at a nice table. But that was it. No service of any kind. No waitress for drinks. No food order .....nothing. The place was not busy but there were till several tables waiting on ordering as well. A bit of a disappointment on our visit to Atl. Very slow service and as we left we told the reception why and there was no apology at all.

Enjoyed my dinner at Dantanna's. It was very good food, especially the appetizers. Dinner was served promptly and they accommodated our group well.

5/16/21 Hi, Just want to let everybody know that my table of 5 ladies celebrating a birthday of one of them, started out a little salty. Meaning that 2 of our dishes were a little saltier than we're used to.( Brent) our waiter was so accomodating, it wasn't his job to make the change, but he got the manager involved (Dustin), and everything was uphill from there. Meaning the manager listened to our complaint, and within a few minutes our prayers were answered. The substitute that was brought to us was even better than what we had chosen. We want to Thank Brent, and Dustin for making our birthday celebration an even better one. I recommend this restaurant to all of Atlanta, if you want to mix good customer service with your dinner. Signed Party of Five!!!

Dantanna’s is one of my favorite spots because of the chill atmosphere. Every location has a laid back feel that can’t be duplicated. They now offer a new brunch menu that is sensational! I LOVE Avocado toast and they have perfected it! The flavors blend so well and sunny side up eggs are a great add. All I have to say is MONKEY BREAD!!! The muffins are light yet satisfying. And the Cajun grouper was everything that went right that day. I’ve never had fish seasoned so well and cooked so delicately. They certainly have something on this new menu for every palette. Be sure to stop in & tell them that ASH SAID IT sent ya! #dantannasbrunch #ashsaidit

I had some gift cards for my birthday to Dantanna's and decided to go last Sunday..I had the pleasure to meet a beautiful spirit lady by the name of Ashley J..She was very professional and thorough and new the menu inside and out. .She offered wine list and my favor was a blueberry lemondrop martini ...However, they were out of the Blu Vodka needed for drink but I had the perfect lemon drop martini instead..I'm a bartender and a lemon drop has to be right..Shout to the bartender that night...I will definitely visit again..and highly recommend Ashley..I'm a stickler on service and I got it..I had the Dantanna's Cioppino ..for 1 or 2 ppl...Mussels,lobster,king crabs, shrimp and fish was the catch of the day...Fresh and Delicious. ..

My husband and I met his daughter and boyfriend at Dantanna's on New Year's Day. Our server was Daniel and he was very nice. The food however, took a long, long time to get to us. Once it did, everyone thought the food was just ok. Mine was however, excellent, as it was the Monkey Bread and for that in itself, my husband and I said we will be back to dine again.

Quarantine inflation. $20 for a regular sized peach margarita and $9 for a side mac/cheese is excessive. the burgers were dry and server never brought the water that was requested twice, disappointed.

This place is the ideal location for a cigar, a cocktail and a wonderful dinner. The menu is really awesome similar to the food that is being served. The highlight of this venue is definitely the cigar store which is located at the back of the restaurant and has a really amazing assortment of cigar. The shop owner is always helping you, when you are lost in the huge variety. Next I in Atlanta I will definitely pay it another visit

It's located at the back of dantana's - to be honest this restaurant smells of stale beer and old shellfish but I was just walking through to get to Buckhead cigars. They have a walk in humidor which has a great selection - there are booths to sit in and enjoy your smile and watch tv too - there's a minimum buy/charge of around $20 so take a cigar home too! It's a bit narrow and tight but there's not many places you can enjoy a cigar inside these days!

Was recommended this bar for drinks by our waitress at Del Friscos. The wait staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Selection of beers and booze also made it enjoyable. The only miss was that my friend ordered a Hendricks and Tonic and the drink tasted like another gin. Mentioned it to both the waitress and the bartender and neither was inclined to offer to replace the drink.

I have been there several times over he last 4 months - from Jan 2018 to as recent as 2 weeks ago. The food is excellent! I have my 3 favorites - the crab and artichoke dip, the lump crab and fruit salad and as a reward, the Krispy Kreme donut bread pudding!! I have several other dished but these three just make an awesome meal. Great location right next to Lenox Mall. Close enough to take the MARTA to the Buckhead station and walk. It's my favorite place to take people when they come visit and for work functions. Also, the staff has always been excellent.

Interesting place in the Lenox Square area. Upscale sports bar is how its described, and I'd say that fits. Some dishes are a bit pricey, but very good food. I had the chef's special that night -- flash fried flounder with buttery crab on top. It was insanely delicious and a bit rich. Garlic mash potatoes were just okay, and the broccoli was a tiny bit undercooked. My wife had the lobster and scallop risotto, which was excellent. Dantanna's also has many local Atlanta beers on tap and in the bottle if you want to try the local craft scene. Our sever was excellent and helpful. Overall, a very good experience.

Ate at Dantanna's when in town for business Had the mussels! They were delicious. No complaints. Nice casual atmosphere.

All too many bars have very predictable "bar food" offerings, but Dantanna's is a welcome change offering upscale 'eats'. Some of the old standbys like chicken fingers are still present, but they don't taste like routine goodies plucked from the freezer shortly before cooking. Service is both friendly AND efficiently professional, definitely an establishment that I would both recommend and return to.

Visited while attending a conference at the adjoining hotel. It was a Friday night and the other restaurants around the area had a long wait. This place did not so we checked it out. I ordered a Filet and garlic mashed potatoes. Food was very slow for the restaurant not being very busy. When food arrived I had the wrong side. No big deal. Server acted like it was my fault but brought the right side. When I cut into the steak it was not cooked even close to the right temp. I never send food back but I couldn't eat the steak cooked rare. In the end they comped a drink for the food mix up which was nice but overall not a place I would return.

I visited Dantanna's for the first time last week to watch a football game and was very impressed with the food and service. I arrived with my girlfriend and was seated promptly where we could both see all the games that were playing. Dantanna's has several TVs with several games showing. Others where there to see their favorite team play so it was a great environment. My server sarah came over immediately, explained the menu and answered all of our questions. my girlfriend tried their Bloody Mary bar (which she said was perfect) and i had a vodka and cranberry. The drinks were made quickly and our server took our order and she was awesome. We had sesame steak skewers, buffalo and jerk wings, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. the food came to our table pretty quickly and was delicious. The customer service was phenomenal as our server kept checking on us and was making sure we wanted for nothing. PHENOMENAL! This is a great place to watch sports, have a cigar, eat great food, drink great drinks and smoke cigars on the patio. I will definitely return. When you go ask for Sarah, she will make sure your experience is one of a kind.

Good bartenders but not a restaurant just an app place to watch a game. A lot of tv's and a friendly place

The food was solid in general, but the complete package was lacking. Our server was nice when she was around. My soup was semi flavorless and not cheap. There are many other restaurants, so if you have no other options, choose this one. "Meh".

Our daughter moved to the city and we took her to dinner at Dantanna's. We have dined here in the past but last night was exceptional 8/19/20. The hostess, waiter, & food server were so professional, friendly, & made our experience wonderful. We never had to ask for refills on our beverages and our appetizers, salads, & entrees came out perfectly spaced. Thank you to the staff for a great dining experience.

This is a nice bar with better than average bar food and service and with a price. I probably won't go again not because it's bad but it's just not that special. Service and food was fine. Vegetarians will be very limited with choices with no real entree to select from.

I caught game seven of the World Series at Dantanna's and it proved to be a great place to take in the action. There are plenty of TVs, great beers on tap and lots of seating at the bar and at high tables. Small private rooms are also available. The service was good and the food decent (we snacked on burgers, wings, crab dip and fries).

It's been 4 yrs since I was last in Atlanta. In the past I always dined here and always ordered the Cioppino. Returning again I had to try it again and I has lost nothing in the last 4 years. The food was great and well priced. Great selection of beers and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. I'm glad to see that time hasn't changed a great establishment.

This place has a very live atmosphere. It was all the way live. It can be intimate or a family affair. The crowd was a mix of young and older people. Most people were business casual in dress. I had the blackened salmon and it was delicious. I would recommend. My husband had the steak it was like $46 for a 8oz steak it was a very small portion. But he said it tasted okay. The servers were great!

Came here for a late night meal after checking into our hotel next door. Ordered steak and lobster with baked potato and broccoli. Steak was prepared well, but the lobster had no flavor. It was nice that they split our meal onto two plates. Our server seemed pre-occupied with other tables so our food came out faster than our drinks. Also, was served wine in a dirty glass. Music did not seem to fit the clientele. There is a slight odor in the restaurant from the cigar bar, so I can see how that would be an issue if seated next to the door to the cigar bar (which seems to stay open to the restaurant).

I was contemplating on posting this or not but when the manager never returned my call I had no choice. This happened exactly one week from today. When I’m spending my money whether it’s a $1.00 or $100.00 I expect it to be right. The bartender gave me a drink and menu and disappeared about 15mins. He came back and I said I’m ready to place my order. He then left for another 20mins mind you it wasn’t BUSY at all. Two other bartenders were at the bar and I said “excuse me when either of you get a second I would like to place an order”, they both looked at me and kept on refilling the cooler. By this time a fruit fly has landed in my drink 🍹 The manager Lisa finally came over and said to idk why we are having this conversation because my staff doesn’t do this. I’m like wtf!? Now you’re making excuses and I’ve now been here over an hour. She tells me oh well between and hour and hour and a half is normal bar sitting hours. Sweetie you are clearly missing the WHOLE point🤦🏾♂️Piss poor customer service and they have fruit flies. I will NEVER eat here again🙅🏾♂️

We were staying at the attached hotel for a meeting and brought clients to this restaurant one night of our stay. We were seated promptly and the hostess was very friendly. They were not packed since we were there early, but it took a long time to get our order, and even longer for the food to come. When the salads finally arrived, the entrées followed literally moments after. As I glanced down some of the former reviews I noticed this may be a pattern. Finally, we were seated right next to the cigar room. It was not a problem in the beginning, but as people arrived the smoke got stronger. I am very sensitive to cigar smoke, and it did affect me by the end of the night. The food was very good. This may be better suited for a casual sports bar experience with good food, rather than a sit down dinner.

I was in the Buckhead section this weekend for a wedding. I had a later flight on Sunday so I checked out Dantanna's near the W Hotel where I was staying. I've been to many sports bars and to call this place a sports bar is really unfair. The reason being are three things that separate this place from all others. First off, when walking in, you feel you are walking into a high end steak house, and for all I know, it very well might be. (I didn't have steak, but I'm sure it's very good) Very rich feeling when walking in. I sat at the bar, getting ready to watch my beloved NY Giants game in the heart of Falcons territory. The bartenders are all very sociable. Introduced themselves, shook their hands, and for the rest of the afternoon, I was called Jeff which is a real nice touch. I had a wedge which was very good, along with one of the most delicious burgers I have ever had. Topped with cheese and well-done bacon, I didn't want to finish it so fast. My only complaint would be that other than a pickle, tomato and onion, nothing else accompanied the burger. No fries? I ordered a side of fries which came out immediately. Every item I saw others eating looked and smelled better than the last thing. The bartender keep my drink (soda) fresh with constant refills. Good looking crowd, and very friendly. If I lived in this area, this would quickly become part of my rotation. Highly recommend this place, and look forward to going back sometime for dinner.

Dantanna's at Lenox Square in Atlanta is a great place to go for quality and delicious steaks and much more. I really like their menu and they have been consistently good in their meals. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need.

Very nice restaurant, with an excellent Sports bar. Looking for a relaxed and informal place ? Found it ! Menu with several different options. Look for the burger... Or for seafood... Or whatever you would like ! Chicken Egg Rolls are a must as an entry ! Definetely a good pick while in Buckhead Atlanta.

We started with the mussels which were in a thick but spicy sauce. The chilly peppers kicked it up a notch. The roasted scallops with kale was good, but the scallops were small. My selection was the wasabi tuna, blue cheese mashed potatoes and broccoli. The tuna was excellent and a generous portion. The potatoes could have had more cheese. This is not your average sports bar with better than average food. A little on the pricy side fir a sports bar, but the quality was good. The only complaint was the smoke. Since cigars and cigarettes are plentiful right outside, the wind can blow the smoke into the open air building. It was too smoky.

I would not have guessed that I would like cared okra. I am not even a big okra fan. This appetizer is different and amazing! I had the signature "Frueben" sandwich. It was wonderful as well. I plan to try and go there again while I am in town. I really enjoyed this restaurant.

I have come across Dantanna's several times while selecting a restaurant here in Atlanta. I have wanted to go for a while but it was never the right time. Today I decided we were going to go and give them a try and I am SO GLAD I DID! This place is outstanding! Perfect date atmosphere. This is a nice place to have a cozy lunch or dinner. Located across from Lenox Mall and easy to get to. There menu had a lot of choices, so many that it took us awhile to make a selection. We started out with a few appetizers Oysters Rockefeller and calamari. For the main course, I love a good steak, so we both chose the 14oz Aged Ribeye. The food was fantastic!!! This was one of the best steaks I have ever had. Cooked to perfection and very tasty. The wait staff was very attentive and very helpful for food selections. We had the perfect lunch date. The menu was appropriately priced for the venue and the quality of the meal. I hate that I waited so long to try them but now that I have, I will be back soon. They have three locations in Atlanta, now we will have to try each one!

Took the kids for dinner on Friday night - had a a very average burger and service that don't deserve a 20% tips. The only time we saw our waitress when she took the order! Will give this restaurant another try.

Better than average sports bar in ambiance, food and service. Had good hamburger - does not come with fries. Paired it with grilled okra, which was surprisingly well prepared.

This restaurant is located in the Buckhead district of Atlanta and definitely worth going out of your way to find. I went with two of my relatives who live in Atlanta. Our server was excellent and attentive. I started out with the crab and corn chowder soup. Quite tasty. My entree was a baked and glazed rainbow trout topped with capers. I also had the roasted garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Only a few restaurant get asparagus right and Dantanna's is among them. Lots of great choices. I wished I could have tried more of them.

Stopped in on recommendation from Westin- Sports Bar type environment, average food. Duck was quite good!.

I came out here with a friend of mine who wanted to treat me to a birthday dinner, cigars, and drinks. I live nearby, and I have always enjoyed the convenient distance of this place. My birthday night, which was supposed to be a happy and celebratory night became a mess. We sat outside and was enjoying the night as we were eating our appetizer and waiting on our steaks. The steaks came out, and my friend's steak was medium well. So he kindly called over the waitress and asked for have a new steak due to the wrong temperature because he ordered a medium steak. She kindly said sure and took the dish back. Moments later, a female manager marched out with our waitress and said, "The temperature on the steak is right, and the steak is cooked to medium. There is nothing wrong with the steak." She then asked my friend what the temperature he asked, and he said, "Medium." She then said, "Yes, this is medium. When we looked at in the kitchen, it was bright redish pink in the inside, so this is a medium steak. The kitchen grilled it correctly. You can't see well outside because the lighting is different, but in the kitchen, it shows that the steak was grilled at the temperature you asked for." I was shocked. My friend was shocked. Then, my friend pulled out his phone and flashed the steak and said, this is medium well with this bright light showing it. The female manager said, "No, this is medium" (without even looking at the flashed steak). She then said that there was nothing they can do. We were both shell shocked, and my friend responded, "I understand you are trying to protect your kitchen staff and that is your stance. But I am telling you that if this is how you treat your customers, then I am never coming back here ever again. I will also make sure that all my friends hear about this place and that they don't come here either." The next response from the female manager was even worse. She said, "Ok" and walked away! Look, I have been going to restaurants like everyone for years, all my life. I have never had an experience where the manager stood there and argued with the customer about the temperature of the steak and basically signaled "eat your 'effing' steak and we are not going to fix anything." Not only that, this was supposed to be my birthday night outing with a buddy. The waitress was so scared to come back after that argument. I ask this to the readers, what kind of manager places her personal ego at the expense of her staff member's income. In this case, this sets a bad stage for her waitress where it affects her tip. Also, what kind of manager places her personal ego at the expense of a repeat customer such as myself who have been going to Dantanna's for years. She rather lose customers than try to make the situation right. We never got her name, but she was a female manager, with grayish black framed glasses, and short black hair working on the evening of July 25, 2020. I spoke with other staff members, and I was told that this same manager does this to other customers. How is this lady still working there?

Steak House/Sports Bar...nice !! Great staff, super fun place to eat. The sports bar portion has tons of TV screens, and for the Final Four, it was jammed. I was lucky to grab a table in the dining room, but within viewing range of the excitement. The steak was delicious, as was my entire meal. Could not have been happier with the evening.

Place I really wanted to go was closed for a private part so we ended up here. Food and service was good and it was nice that they had football game on in both bar and dining area.

A few friends decided to watch NFL Thursday night football here. I was only expecting bar food, but to my surprise they had an outstanding menu. Baked goat cheese in tomato sauce was a great starter. I ordered the bone in ribeye Oscar style. Steak was nicely cooked, meat was top quality. The corn side was cherry on the top. For the table we also ordered Ciopinno for one. 4 people shared it and took some home. It was fabulous with fresh and ample seafood. Service was excellent. Will visit again for sure.

What a great place for lunch or dinner - close to Lenox retail mall. Wide menu, good value, swift service. A bit of a ‘sports bar’ due to TV screens showing American Football - but not intrusive. Would recommend 😌

Had a late lunch here with a small group of 5. I was surprised by the menu offerings, expecting more sports bar food. But there was a nice blend of seafood and vegetarian choices as well. The oyster selection was fresh and was accompanied by cocktail sauce, horseradish and mignonette sauces, which pleased the entire table. The quinoa salad with edamame, dried cranberries and goat cheese on spring mix was very good, and extra large for the price. The soup offerings of the day were also well done. Our server was a delight, and went out of her way to help us with local sites and activities. My only slight disappointment was that I detected a faint smokey odor, and was informed that there was a humidor where guests sampled cigars, but I was the only diner of our group who noticed. A very good dining experience.

This is my FAVORITE place to come for cocktails and chill. I want to say it’s because there about the only place in town that has GREAT Fries Crab claws (although they are a bit pricey)! For desert, you have to try the KRISPY KREME bread pudding w/ice cream. The bartenders Devaughn, Chris, and Darren are absolutely the best. I’m sorry to announce I come here at least twice a week 😩 #WriteAReviewDay

I stayed at a hotel nearby recently and ate here a couple times. I can't say that anything really impressed me. Very average food. However there are some great TVs if you're watching a sports game and the bartenders are friendly

Your Favorite Upscale Sports Restaurant! When I go to Dantanna's I normally sit at the bar although I have dined at a table. The bar is where I handle Business and get my Burger :) The Bartenders really provide great service at the bar and the games are usually on so it's always a great time. It’s just a great experience. It’s a great date, great friends business, family , etc. It’s definitely one of my favorite places to dine :)

I would like to start with the service which was phenomenal! I got there at the perfect time. Hardly anyone there and my waiter was friendly and helpful in helping me pick out the right lunch to eat because I was starving! I opted for his recommendation of the salmon BLT which had friend green tomatoes and the gouda mac and cheese as a side. AMAZING! The BLT was great with the tomatoes and the mac & cheese was delish! I wish I would have gotten a larger portion. I would certainly go back if in the area again. Clean, vibrant establishment with a bar and TV screens and an outdoor seating area. I loved it.

We enjoyed our stop at Dantanna's. I had the cheesesteak sandwich and my nephew had a burger. It was quite good. Our waitress was great as well.

We went to Dantanna's to watch a college football game and to drinks and appetizers at the bar. The bartenders were so super nice and the food was great. The Oyster Rockefeller is a delicious appetizer, I don't think I ever had better! We look forward to going back, for sure.

Had dinner with my family and friends Saturday night. This was one of the worse eating experiences I have had. Server was not attentive and did not come back to check on the table as well as she had a poor attitude. The Manager was not professional and did not seem to have true customer service skills in correcting the issues we faced. Overall, simply very poor service.

Was here for a private event. Very good drinks. Must try the strawberry margarita - IT WAS AWESOME. We had finger foods but we also ordered food. The fish and chips (which were regular) fries were good. We were out on the patio area which is a great location for someone wanting to have a private event. Very spacious too. The servers were very attentive and helpful.

I recently attended a business dinner and enjoyed a very delightful meal. It offered a nice place to have a business conversation without interference. The chicken egg rolls were very tasty. The Cesar salad was top notch. The grilled crab stuffed Mahi Mahi was cooked to perfection. The mashed sweet potatoes was an excellent side The service was top notch for the entire meal It’s not the least expensive place around however it was worth the cost.

The restaurant was walking distance to our hotel, and the menu looked appealing. I got a shrimp dish that was just ok. It wasn't flavorful. I had shrimp dishes at a cheaper place the next day, and it had much more flavor. Service was just ok as well. We had to flag down our server to get refills on our drinks.

Held a business dinner here. Reasonable menu, with good service. Decent wine list. Good value for the money.

This used to be, BY FAR, my favorite sports bar in Atlanta... great food, good service, a good crowd, and all the Sport TV one could handle! I went back recently only to find that the bar I used to know has let itself go. The main TV over the big bar was so bad you could hardly see the picture on it... other TV's were also dated and there did not seem to be as may as perhaps in a newer bar like Twin Peaks. I sat at a table near the bar for almost 15 minutes - three different servers walked right by me (sitting at an empty table w a friend) and none of them stopped to say hello or ask me if I needed anything... it was a far cry from what I was accustomed to in my previous visits (it had been a couple of years since I had been there). I ended up leaving so I can not comment on the food or much of anything else... we sat there for almost 20 minutes and no one said a word to us... and the TV's were terrible... and it was nearly dead in terms of a crowd (there was a game on - but not a huge one)... so we left. I hope they put some $$ and some TLC back into this place to bring it back to it's former glory! And please hire some decent waiters/waitresses!

Considering that Dantannas advertises its specialties as being so special, it was disappointing to be served such poorly prepared fish. The tuna sounded and looked wonderful, but it was clear that it was not properly butchered, leaving it chewy, tough and full of sinew. We were a big party and two others dining with us had the same experience. None of the other dishes were memorable, though the oysters were tasty. At the end of the day, Dantannas is little more than an average sports bar, nowhere near fine dining and pricy for what you are getting.

I met a client for a bit of bourbon and cigars. Mike was a terrific host and Ryan was a great server. This is a nice find. Angel’s Envy …. ask for it.

this place is awesome. we love sitting at the bar for drinks and eats. the food and service is always great and the staff is very friendly. they also have televisions all over so you can enjoy everything with friends or solo as you watch your favorite games.

I wanted a reasonable meal in Buckhead (not easy to find), and my hotel recommended the bar inside of this restaurant. I had their signature burger (delicious) with potato salad (also great). The burger had just the right charbroil taste and was plenty big. The cocktails were generous pours and affordable! I will return in the future.

My husband and I dined here for my birthday dinner this past weekend and I was happy with the quick and efficient service. Our waiter was great and even gave my husband a heads up about a side dish that he ordered. He told him that it has a vinegar based taste that some might not favor. Although he stated that they haven't had complaints, he noticed that the item was often never eaten when collecting the plates. We appreciated the heads up and my husband decided to try it anyway. He actually enjoyed it and didn't leave a bite. Our entrees were delicious. I had the New York strip and he had the braised pork chop both were nice portions yum yum! Our appetizers were also great my husband had the pan seared okra and I had the goat cheese (I don't like okra so I won't critique it) my husband however loved it.

Are here with 4 other friends while in town for a sorority conference. The place is small with a nice sized bar area. There is also outside seating where folks who visit the cigar shop located inside the restaurant. We waited for roughly 35 minutes for a table. Once seated, our server took about 5 minutes to get our drink orders. He was very polite and knowledgeable when asked questions about the menu. I ordered the beer battered shrimp with mashed sweet potatoes and asparagus. The sweet potatoes were not very sweet but the asparagus were flavorful if not just a little under cooked. The shrimp were large but after eating a few, I had to take the batter off due to the greasiness. If in Atlanta again, I would give them another chance.

A group of us guys from the local school, known as the "North Avenue Trade School" decided to have one of our monthly luncheons there. The restaurant has a great environment for a fun loving group like ours. the staff was courteous and allowed us to get a little loud. The food selections were good, not great. Everyone seemed to enjoy their selections.

The atmosphere was fun and the menu reasonably priced. The drinks super costly though. The food was wonderful and the service very pleasing. Our waiter Ron was super nice and helpful. It was game day and the place was packed but they got us in in 5 to 10 min even after they said it would be 30-40. There was what seemed to be a lot of wasted space in the restaurant and tables really close together. Overall is was a nice place to dine.

I came here for dinner and loved it. It was an early dinner around 4pm so the place was pretty empty. I sat at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and welcoming. I had a beer and a cowboy cut ribeye. Steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. My sides were asparagus and French fries which were both excellent. For dessert I had the Krispy Kreme bread pudding with ice cream and it was AMAZING. Price point was very good also. You get a steak that close to that of a high end steakhouse for less. Great value. Next time I’m in Atlanta I’ll definitely be back!

We went to Dantannas for our coworkers birthday lunch and it did not disappoint. Our server was Eric and he was great and very knowledgeable. Our drinks were never empty and he was super attentive. We got the salmon, a salad and 2 bison burgers and all were delicious. And to top it off, Eric brought my coworker a Krispy Kreme bread pudding with ice cream on top with a candle! Good experience!!

Went today for lunch before an Atlanta United game. Food is really good. Beer selection is good. Bar drinks are pretty standard and basic. When we arrived place was half full. We asked for a table and the hostess needed to see if any were available. Came back and pulled four menus and four sets of silverware. This took her about 3-5 minutes. After which she started a new conversation with the other hostess. All the while, leaving us standing there. Once we sat down, waitress was nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Took our order, brought our drinks and then disappeared. Food took almost 1 hour to arrive. Drinks empty the entire time. We finally see waitress having a conversation with a family at a table behind us. Anyway, we Won’t go back. Food was good, but service was horrible. I still tipped her full amount deserved and she had the nerve to make a comment about us leaving the table too messy. She was an idiot. I don’t understand how Taco Mac next door closed down, yet this place survived. If you are downtown Atlanta for an event, I encourage you to walk a little further to Stats. Great food, drinks and staff.

We ate dinner here on a beautiful evening. We sat inside vs the patio due to that terrible GA pollen. I ordered blackened salmon, mashed potatoes, and mushrooms. It was delicious. Parking is free. The waitress was attentive. The wait time was less than 5 mins. I would definitely go back again.

We had the specials, trout and monkfish. Both were delicious. Great service. Nice surprise. If in the area will definitely be back.

Popped in for drinks only. The bar has decent seating and tons of TVs so pretty alright for watching a game. There is an outside seating area in the bar as well. It was a tad weird when we walked in as the hostess mentioned a 20 minute wait for the bar yet there were empty tables. We were able to get drinks and find a spot no problem. Bar service was ok but not stellar as were the drinks.

We sat outdoors, the seating was comfortable, and the staff friendly, al be that are a little disorganized, and slow, the food was very good and moderately priced Will recommend

A group of us went to this restaurant because of its proximity to our hotel. We heard some good things about it, but we were a little disappointed. The staff was very friendly; however, the food was lacking. Out of a party of 5, 4 of us ordered steaks. All 4 steaks were overcooked and were very bland even though we went with our waitresses suggestion of adding the house dry rub. As the waitress said, "I recommend the steaks because we are known as a steak house." They have some work to do.

I was a bit put off by the “flying napkins and best looking wait staff” publicity on the website and the shabby outside of the building but in we went and I’m glad we did. The wait staff are delightful (and nice looking!) and not a flying napkin in sight at 3pm. James guided us through the menu and gave excellent advice. He and the manager even recombined two seafood appetisers into an entree when my husband couldn’t decide which to get. His fries were the best I’ve ever had. My huevos rancheros were lovely and our teenage daughter was very happy with her sesame beef skewers. The downsides that lost them a star were (1) the surprisingly limited beer list (Bud Lite is not a craft beer, even on draft) and (2) the length of time it took to pay the bill.

This place was right around the corner from our hotel and turned out to be really good. We had the calamari, burger, and a salmon Cesar salad and everything was delicious! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. It was so good, I got a to-go order of crispy jumbo fried shrimp the next night and it was just as good! Great choice in Buckhead.

We were super impressed with the atmosphere and service we had. From outside, we weren't sure if was mall go-er attire friendly, but it wasn't an issue at all! They were wonderful at accommodating us with our small son, and extra helpful in getting us what we needed for him. This is an upscale sports bar (probably no bad seat in the house to view a game!) with reasonably priced food and drinks. We ordered two appetizers- the chicken egg rolls were our favorite, delicious! Our meals were great too! New York Strip for him (no complaints) and the Wasabi Tuna for me! The tuna came crusted in Lanka with lump crab meat on top, and a delicious glaze. Absolutely will be back for these meals! Highly recommend!

This place has a nice setting for a date or for a family outting. Went there around 11pm and received great service. My service greeted me upon being seated, shared his recommendations, and visit again.

Don't get me wrong -- I like the Palm -- in fact, I LOVE the veal parmigiana at the Palm. But the steaks there are pricey (and delicious) so I was pleasantly surprised to see that Dantanna will produce an excellent steak, cooked to rider, along with a salad and a potato for just a bit more than half the price of the Palm steak alone. The atmosphere is Sports-Bar-with a (suitable for families) restaurant attached. When a game is on, the bar area is packed and raucous. But the place is clean and modern. Its nice, try it out.

Was good, nothing overly remarkable. The carpaccio was note worthy. The crab cakes were tasty. Upscale sports bar.

Sorry Dantanna's, we were seated and waited about 15 minutes with no service (not even water), so we got up and left. Wasn't like the restaurant was too busy or not enough staff either. Just overlooked and no one even bothered to come ask us if we were being helped...
Great Lunch Atmosphere
We had originally thought a casual Thursday night dinner would be good, but it was night-club loud. We decided to go for lunch the next day specifically for a braised duck dish. Unfortunately, it was no longer offered on the menu we viewed online. We chose the crab claw appetizer, and it was fantastic! The bar was comfortable and the TV options were great! Our bartender was very friendly, but needed to pay more attention to his customers than his seemingly much more interesting and important texts. I loved their own original play on a classic Reuben, and the kale salad side was very fresh and pleasing. Overall a really nice choice for lunch, but I will not try again for dinner.
