Nothing remarkable about the place, it is an average bar/pool hall/amusement arcade. The music is unnecessarily loud, the staff were reasonably friendly, the bar food was average bar food. It would be OK for a night out with friends to play pool, drink beer.

Food and games galore. We had lots of food at a private buffet. Then we used game cards for the arcade. Oh my gosh! I got car sick doing a video demolition game....well I did try it 3 x's in a row. Trivia was fun...and skee ball, also.

Food was edible but there were alot of issues. We got cold fries, the grilled chicken breast was tasteless, the ribs had no meat on the, the quesadillas came with mayo. Our water glasses were rarely filled and it took a long time to get drinks from the bar. That being said the game room is the big reason to go but seems like most of the offerings are geared towards getting tickets and not video games.

First time we came to these place because of my son who usually see the commercial on t.v. and end up asking us everyday. At first it was chaos....game day Sunday so a lot of people where watching Cowboys. there where people in the desk that you can ask where and what to do ( they didn't asked us if we needed help or what). when we figure it out what to do kids and adults had fun. it was a awesome night they have lots of games and affordable pack for a game card. when we got hungry we ate and the food where delicious a little high but it was alright. Our server is not good at customer service she just serve us and that's it she didn't even bother to make any conversation to us, but it's alright...over all these place is awesome the service is the only reason why I gave rate average.

We love to find places where we can eat and play. Coming here is a good combination of the two. The food is of average taste and slightly over priced, the drinks are good, but the games are fun and appropriate for all ages. On average if we eat and the four of us get game cards, our day of fun runs around $150.

Great place to grab and bite to eat and watch the sport games. After that you can try you luck on some of the arcade game.

The crisp apple pecan salad was amazing! It definitely exceeded my expectations! We came to our grandchildrens' birthday party and expected typical large group food, such as pizza. We were surprised that the adults were able to order from a regular menu with many delicious options!

I went with my family and found the food below average. The fajitas and fixing (rice, beans etc..) tasted like cafeteria food or worst. Do not go for the food, go for the fun that your kids can have with the games.

My kids love this place - but i wish it didn't have those annoying tickets. I miss the days of arcades! Other than that, it is best to order beer or wine, mixed drinks are not their forte. Food is typical bar food - but their sirloin teriyaki is definitely worth trying. Billiards tables were fun and not too pricey - good place to host a happy hour as well.

We have been to other Dave and Buster's before and all of our experiences have been good, but this one seemed a little better than previous ones. Our waiter was wonderful and even managed to find some candles for my daughter's birthday cake because we had forgotten those. The food was typical D&B food and even with it being super busy we didn't have to wait forever. My only complaint is that I think they need to have an additional restroom that is not located in the game area. We had a newborn baby with us and we had to go all the way across the restaurant through swarms of excited kids who kept bumping into us just to change her diaper. Also I think they only had one restroom with a changing station. For a restaurant that large I felt like they should have had a couple of stalls with changing stations. Overall it was great and they have really upgraded the quality of their prizes.

My wife and I had a blast when we went. Used one game card and pooled our tickets together to get a treat for our kids.

we were hungry- grand kids wanted fun and I wanted a beer- wow Dave and busters around the conner - we ate- played games and I got a beer or 2 GREAT FUN FOR ALL

Normal Dave and Busters with fun games like all other locations, but nothing special or unique about it.

I came here for my birthday to eat the Lawnmower Salad! I am a vegan and thank the chef for going out of his way to make it suitable for my dietary needs. The manager stopped by my table twice greeting us and making sure everything was okay. He seemed to be a truly nice person who enjoyed his job. My waiter gets a big A+ for being one of the most professional waiters I have ever had.

Surprisingly good food and quiet dining room, for what is basically Chuck-E-Cheese for grownups.

Although my husband and I really like to go here and play the games, which is super fun especially at night because kids aren't allowed after a certain time. Such a great rule. We asked at least 6 different workers to get cocktail service while playing games and we were turned down "too busy" we went to the two bars and stood there about 30 mins without even acknowledgement. Terrible staff to turn down money. Very upsetting for we were thirsty. Games are great but i suggest more staff and new training.

Great place for you to go, this month, for PTSD awareness month. It took my mind off days gone by, go there, it is very awesome and has a great staff, great food, great games and a great bar.

Family vacation. Only went here for our 8 year old daughter. She could get much for prizes because your point system is out of wack. Make it so kids can actually get something! That will make people come back....your food is expensive enough to off set the cost of prizes...

Just be aware if Martinez is the manager because he was very rude about something I complained today (3-7-15 at 3:00 pm). His attitude was "you didn't said that, and they don't work for me ... You can't said that without knowing that...." Just make sure you said the right words for him because he will get so mad at you if you are wrong. My bad if you let other people act like they work for you and you are not aware about it

We took our kids to Dave & Busters this past weekend, for some family fun!! We had a blast!! We got a great deal on Groupon, and decided to spend the day playing games.... Great games, Great food, Great atmosphere... The staff were all very friendly and helpful... Kids of ALL ages can have a blast at Dave & Buster's. Adults too!!

I was invited to a company party at the Austin Location. The buffet was salmon, chicken, potatoe wedges, carrots, and rice. The food was cafeteria grade at best. The salmon was dry, the carrots hard as rocks, the rice was flavorless. The games were the highlight of the trip. For a family it is a perfect place to have fun and earn prizes. I wish the food was at least average :/

I love the Dave and Busters atmosphere! 1. Looks new 2. Paperless tokens 3. Booze 4. Resraurant Staff is pretty nice. I went around 5-530pm on Saturday. There were children present, but most of them were in control. A few parents left their kids unsupervised. A few of those kids were sitting at games but not really playing (annoying). We spent $27 on tokens, and we played for at least an hour straight. This was 100000x better than Check E Cheese, no contest.

We had lunch and played games. We were surprised how long we could play on the tokens we purchased. We aren't gamers but we seemed to play forever.

We had visited before but never to eat. Today we decided to eat here and I was not impressed. You think for the high prices you get a better quality of food. The locorita was water down and my wings was soggy.

I visited Dave & Buster’s by myself for lunch. I sat in the bar area. I had the Bar Burgers which were tasty. I do however give extra credit for good French fries. The fries were crispy and tasty. I hate soggy fries. The atmosphere is fun and the service was good.

I've come here multiple times for birthday parties etc. the food is horrible each time. Never tastes like what you expect. A Chipotle Chicken tastes like honey not chipotle. The service is fine - they are doing the best they can. The bathrooms are filthy. Looks like no one keeps track of them. The staff must have a private bathroom or someone would have picked up the trash and dishes. The arcade was actually clean and upgraded this last visit. Thank god! Last time I felt like I was hanging out in an 80s movie with dirt and grime. Like I said before. Expect the worst and you will be happy with what you get.

I've been to other Dave and busters and had the time of our lives. First we sat at a dirty table for 20 minutes working for someone to come clean and take our order. No one came and we finally decided that we won't eat here and got up. As soon as we got up. A white couple came and sat down. I looked back to see the waiter cleaning off the table when i just stared at him for 20 minutes talking to his co worker. Then we had tickets. And won extra chips that are worth 120 tickets. The ticket guy took them and didn't count them towards are prizes. When i asked why. He rolled his eyes and said just save your tickets for next time. What makes you think we are coming back here? Horrible. They need employees that care.

We ate supper at Dave and Buster's on a 1/2 price Wednesday. The service was actually very good and our server kept our glasses filled. We both ordered the sweet apple pecan salad with grilled chicken. It was a little above average. We also got a side of macaroni, which was delicious. You go to Dave and Buster's for the games, not the food. It was a busy Wednesday night and several games were not working. We visit Dave and Buster's on a regular basis and have been to several in different cities. The games were not working properly as far as giving tickets. Maybe they set the machines differently on 1/2 price night? Still a fun place to visit and play.

The food was ok but the real reason you go here is for the games. As long as you go in knowing that you will come out ok with it.

First visit to a Dave & Busters and it was a lot of fun for the entire family. Didn't sit and have a meal however we did enjoy drinks and the arcade area. The games were all functioning and the prizes were a lot better than many other similar style pizza places. Will be returning.

Good service and food. It was busy and a bit loud in the restaurant on the night we visited. Good variety of items on the menu. We ordered sandwiches and pizza all of which were good, not outstanding. Would visit this restaurant again

I was really disappointed about this Dave & Buster's. Driving back to Dallas from San Marcos, my friend and I wanted to stop by an arcade to play some games (and get me a adorable stuffed animal), and this place was a disappointment. The employees here didn't seem to enjoy their job, there was barely anyone walking around to help us, I had to go up to someone at the shop or at the bar to get some help. This place is a mess, drinks were laid out everywhere, trash were in particular regions and games and everything I touched felt oily. Also, there weren't any good prizes to win in the store. We decided to keep our tickets, come back to Dallas, and see if there were any good prizes there. I will not be coming back to this Dave & Buster's.

I've been here many times but am just now getting around to writing a review. We went on a spur of the moment trip for New Year's Eve and had a blast. Due to a cancellation for an event we had planned to attend for the evening my fiance and I made the decision to take the kids here for NYE. It was busy as expected but surprisingly we didn't feel suffocated. A variety of games for kids and adults of all ages. Food is average and way over priced(basing that on past experiences and usually gaming is high as well. Luckily Weds. worked out for us, when I go again Wednesdays will be the day I go!

We didnt eat here , but we returned a few times to use up the credits on our cards, the range of games is excellent. Great fun

There was a large selection of games & good prizes. It was pretty busy, but we had fun!!! My favorite game was probably the Price is Right wheel.

Whenever my husband and I go out of town one of the first things we look for is if there is a Dave and Buster's... it's something we have done since we first started dating. Typically we don't come for the food, we always just come for the entertainment of playing games. Make sure to sign up for their emails before you go (they can take up to 24-48 hours to receive i believe) as they always have good deals like buy 10 get 10 or buy 20 get 20 depending on the coupon. I would suggest this Dave and Buster's for all ages!

The arcade games are excellent except the claw machines are rigged.Love the location it is fabulous .

Food quality was as good as any other dave and buster but service not as good. One waiter with no bus staff to help. Messed up three orders and think it was a language issue and he could not understand us and did not know the menu. Good thing we were not in a hurry.

We have always liked this chain, and this place was similar to others. Clean, good staff, varie of foods and a fun place for the family.

I hadn't been to. D&B in probably 20 years. Things haven't changed much. Sitting at the bar, which was pretty empty, I ordered a beer and the Chicken Rockefeller. The meal when it came to me had cold broccoli, a small piece of grilled chicken, a small portion of mashed potatoes, some shrimp, and a sauce that included spinach and sun dried tomatoes. It tasted pretty good but had obviously been sitting under a warming light for a while. A couple guys who came in after me had their meals before I did. The portions were small for the price but it was tasty. After my meal I walked around and watched a few people turn money into tickets into worthless trinkets. At least they had fun. I hope I live another 20 years so I can visit again.

We took our 7 yr old daughter to play for 2 hrs ! She had lots of fun ! The food was great and the place is great ! Has lots of tv’s to watch all your sporting events ! Great place to hang out

Good experience, the place was very clean. The food was delicious and the attention was super friendly, the place is spacious and there are good promotions to take advantage of both food and games.

First time at Dave & Busters and is the last. Service and waiter were really good, however the food and cocktails were awful. Overcooked entree and couldn't get a refund because it's prepaid (leave your tab open if you can, otherwise the manager "says" refund will show up in 5-7 days but I'm still waiting after 10 days. Mixed drinks were watery or just lousy quality alcohol. One positive was the table set in honor for the 13 Marines who died in Afghanistan. I tip my hat to Dave and Buster's for that.

Had a good time. Our food was good and wait staff was great. Kids played games forever. Will deffenatly come back.

Service was great and lots to do. Food is your average bar stool chow. Nothing to write home about. Tip on service and food only as they include the price of the game card as well.

I always enjoy playing the games at Dave & Busters. I believe the games are reasonably priced. The food is good, the service is a little slow. I believe it is a good place for the family to have fun.

they do have a variety of packages, including the "Play and Dine", which I sprang for with the three grandsons, ages 15, 12, and 9. I'd say the initial outlay of $120 for four of us, including lunch was a fair deal. We got four game cards with 100 credits each. The older two went off to shoot em up and the 9 year old and I set out to see what damage we could do. I have to say that as a mature woman who is not video game savvy, I got taken by the machines. I blew through my card and most of the 9 year old's somehow, while the older two only got half way through theirs and they were clearly serious gamers. Our server was at first attentive, then bogged down. I think they were under-staffed and had several birthday parties going on. Our meals varied in flavor/quality. The teriyaki sirloin with loaded mashed potatoes was well-prepared and flavorful. Chicken tenders and fries were as expected. The Caveman slider/rib/fries combo~Two okay sliders and fries, but ribs were incinerated! Steak salad~very light on the steak, and that was precooked and refrigerated, I think whoever sliced it for the salad took a couple slices for him/herself. After recharging two of the cards and spending a total of five hours there, I was set back about $180 including lunch. But for four of us on a rainy day, and lots of laughs, I call it good.

This is a great place for adults and older kids, not so much little ones. We ate and played games, spent over 3 hours there and never got bored! The food was delicious, waiter was very courteous, and the games were a blast. We had 9 people and dropped $200, but this included $50 on games. Shocking but worth it.

The games are ridiculously over priced. The only good thing dave and busters offers in the chance to drink while you play. I think that is their main selling point, otherwise I wouldn't waste my time. It's like 3 times the amount of money you'd spend elsewhere.

Had a large dinner meeting in their comedy room and it was great! Service was good and Avacado BLT with fries was great! Everyone was pleased!

Its a great place, gaming for the smaller members of the family, competition for the teenagers and even some grown up fun for us oldies. And then afterwards you can have a good family dinner together before you either hit the floor again or go home. Hold on to your money though, the gaming isn't cheap and its a bit difficult to really know what it costs because it is token based. Give the kids and yourself a budget they cant go above for the evening and when you are done go and have a beer and some food. The bar area is also great, good craft beer (sort of) and good games on the screens.

This place is definitely great for the entire family but definitely not good if you on a budget but definitely a good time

Nice to place to enjoy the the evening :) ., food taste and quality of serive is too good. Excellent environment..

We went to D&B's for a family birthday dinner, chosen by a nephew who likes to play the games. My half rack of baby back pork ribs was quite good, and the loaded mashed potatoes with the ribs were delicious ($13.79). The house salad tasted ok but the little piece of plastic wrap we found in it was not so good. Just after we found it the manager walked by and asked how everything was. I showed him the plastic and he was very apologetic, and gave us a $10 game card. They have two red wines on the list and we got the most expensive at $24, and it was ok. Others at the table were mostly positive about their food, and the service was friendly and fast. Since we don't enjoy the game arcade (mainly the noise) we won't be going back, but it was ok once.

This Dave and Busters is in the shops at the River Walk close to the IMAX theater. The games were all working and workers were walking around to help if any problems were encountered. Very unusual for that to happen! You usually have to go to the store to ask for help. It was clean and the workers were very friendly. They had a great assortment of games. We spent a couple of hours playing all the different types. Love the challenge of the Star Trek and Wizard of Oz games, trying to get the right combination of cards for bonus points.

Perfect place to just sit, eat, drink and watch sports. This time I was alone, but I felt save, and all bartenders were awesome.

The food is really good, specially the combination of it. BBQ and Buffalo wings at the same time. Price is average. Family friendly.

Date: November 12th @ 10pm to 2am My nephew and I headed to Dave & Busters for a meal and a night of excitement playing games until late in the evening. This is the second time that we have come on a Saturday UFC night and it was packed. Good for business, but it sincerely did not impact our wait time for a table and/or accessing any games. Definitely an upbeat atmosphere. Restaurant: We did not have a wait time for our table, but it took the waiter a few minutes to tend to us for drinks. I ordered the Buster's Cheeseburger and found it to be average. Reason being that the quality of meat was not the best that I have ever had, but for an entertainment complex like this it was average. The portion size is adequate and you can customize your burger with sautéed mushrooms and etc. For dessert I ordered the Triple Layer Chocolate Cake and also found it to be average. It is very rich and extremely moist. It was so moist that I jokingly asked my nephew if it was fully cooked. Aside from our average meal we had an excellent time in the gaming area. There's a huge variety of games for people of all ages and several of them will have you playing them over and over. We do not care that much for the points/gifts that are offered because our goal is just having a fun time. In my opinion, this place is excellent for drinks and games. If you are looking for a good quality meal you might be better off eating elsewhere versus being a bit disappointed with the food quality. Do not get me wrong as the food is okay, but it won't have you licking your fingers and wanting more.

Was staying at Residence Inn round the corner. Dave & Busters wasn't just a restaurant - it was a bar and had an arcade and pool tables which were busy. There was a big MMA fight that night, and the bar was busy showing the fight card. Ordered the Hot burger, which was a half pounder, which lots of fries. Huge portion which I couldn't finish. Free refills on soft drinks. Friendly staff and people, as stayed to watch the big fight. Plenty of atmosphere the night I visited. Lots of diners, juniors and seniors, Restaurant looks double the size when you sit down, but the huge mirror on one side is the cause of the illusion.

Went here during Special Olympics - ate before we let the kids loose. The Salmon was very very good but rather expensive.

We didn't have anything to eat, so I cannot speak on the food quality. We did however sample a number of their cocktails, and the bar tenders were all lovely. We had a group of 15+ people on a business trip, and came here to relax after a hard day. It was good for a few drinks and a chat, and the games were diverse enough that everyone could find something they enjoyed. We enjoyed it so much we came back again a few days later.

Defiantly for the family with kids. Games for the kids and tv's for the sports nuts. Noise level was very high. Nothing great about the bar wing combo app. Would not go back.

If you're out to enjoy food and have a lot of time to spare to play games from shooting hoops, to simulation games, this is the place to be. But prepare to stand in line to request for seats and wait for seats. Although you can play all the games you want while waiting. I'd you are already hungry, good luck. Food and service are excellent. Oh! This a sports bar and restaurant so you can watch your favorite ballgame on big screen television while waiting or eating. Depending on where your seated.

Went with friends here for some beer snacks and pool. Had a nice time. Its actually difficult to locate. You have to be in right lane and once you cross Oracle building there is a cut for DnB and well the place is jam packed on weekends. Nice place for family outing specially with kids.

To be honest, we were not planning on actually eating at D&B's simply because we don't care much for the food in the San Antonio location, but as it was right across the street from our hotel, Hyatt Place, we decided to try it out. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the food was actually PRETTY good. I had the Grilled Chicken and Artichoke Penne which was simple, subtle yet deliciously filling. One of my nephews had the Short Rib and Cheesy Mac Stack, and he was the only one to complain about the food. He thought the short rib was very dry and had a strange flavor. He's 12, so he I think was lured by the Mac, but it didn't work out for him after all. His brother had the Buffalo Wing Burger, and he did enjoy that. My husband had a beer batter chicken, I believe, I can't remember what it was titled exactly, but he really liked it; the chicken was juicy! As for the games, we did have a great time. There is a great selection. I spent some time in the corner playing old school Galaga but really all the games are new, trendy, colorful, and completely engaging. I do warn families though that it can get a bit pricey; we ended spending a bit over $100 dollars for 3 kids and two adults, and we had about a good 2-3 hours of game play. We also did notice that the precision of the games were better than the San Antonio D/B. We didn't feel any lag, and of the many games maybe only one or two were out of order.

Went there for my 7-year-old daughter, and she generally likes the games. Compared to a Chuck-E-Cheese, it offers a lot more for older kids and adults, but it also seems there are less opportunities to interact. The loud music and arcades drown out conversation and very few can be played together. The biggest stress factor for parents might be the point system with which the games are paid for. You load a credit card of sorts (I.e. 125 points for $20) then each station charges between 4 and 12 points - sometimes for nothing more than a very quick try. That makes up to $2 per game ... A potentially short process of blowing $20. It's also the credit card dilemma in general (compared to coins) of having no good reference of how much money is spent. Certainly not a place to teach your kid responsible spending. As for the food, it was quite good and not much to complain about, except that for bar food it's a bit on the higher end regarding prices. Nevertheless quality and variety was good.
Nobody goes here for the food, you go for the games.
It is basic chain food. Not bad, not awesome. The games are the reason to go. You will spend some money but at thend you can cash in your tickets for some carnival stuff. Better stuff than most I got a great coffee travel mug and some animals for my dogs to rip apart. Plus we had a lot of fun. Watch out for the floor, it has different levels and between it being dark and flashy the step up and down is not well marked so, be careful.
