We had a shrimp appetizer, filets with potatoes and asparagus, chocolate mouse and cheese cake. Every bite was amazing. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the chocolate mouse was divine!

Great team dinner. We had some great appetizers. The calamari has a sauce drizzled all over it. The lump crab was delicious. I ordered the sea bass. It was very good with the crab fried rice. The best was the butter cake with the butter pecan ice cream.

A good steakhouse is not hard to find in Dallas, but this one is my favorite. The food is delicious, with lots of selection and portions that are not overwhelming, and the staff has that old world charm - friendly, but not overly so. I will definitely make this a regular stop whenever I am back in Dallas.

My family and some friends were here Friday night to celebrate my mother's 80th Birthday. We were a party of 12. The food and drinks were delicious as expected, but it was the service that impressed me the most. Ryan and Scott were our main servers and they were both just excellent! I cannot say enough about the service. Again, the food was awesome. Yes, the place is not cheap so get that in your head before you go, but if you've got something special to celebrate I'd definitely recommend going here! Just a wonderful evening for my mother-and the rest of us, too!

Beautiful place with great bar and wonderful food. Best steak I have probably had! Service was great too.

I have eaten at Del Frisco in NYC, never was bad. This trip to Dallas I was excited. The steak I got was way under cooked. Now, I was with clients and a big party. The wait staff behind me started arguing with me that it was medium rare. First, who even cares if I'm right? Why make a big scene? Second, it common knowledge steak chains under cook a steak - you can always put it back on the grill if its just underdone. I felt like it was already made a big deal and just ate it... But I will never go back. Lots of great steak places in Dallas that don't act this way.

Del Frisco's was by far the best meal we ate while visiting Dallas. My family and I ordered a variety of dishes, including crab cakes, salmon, filet mignon, and porterhouse steaks, as well as side dishes of mushrooms, brussel sprouts, and mashed potatoes, and all were completely excellent. As if that weren't enough, we were provided terrific service by Nicole, who was very courteous, professional, and patient. From now on, Del Frisco's will be our go-to place in Dallas.

We really enjoyed our supper here. Hubby had a steak and I had lobster bisque and crab cakes and it was all so good. Our waiter Noah was the best. Great drinks too.

If you are a custom to great food and atmosphere you may want to give Del Frisco’s a try. I can not speak enough to the great food and drink we had here. Our party ordered steaks that were all cooked to perfection and the fish was incredible as well. You may not find a finer experience in Uptown.

Wow.... definitely one of the top 5 steakhouses I've been to in the United States. We were seated upstairs, which definitely offers a more quiet surrounding than downstairs; this definitely added to the positive experience. We started off with Shanghai-styled fried calamari, which was a nicely different interpretation of fried calamari (has nothing to do with how you would eat them in Shanghai but very good nevertheless) and our group all had different kinds of meats after that. They had a special (3 four ounce steaks which were all prepared differently) and the meat was really tender and perfectly prepared the way I asked. Luis, our waiter, was also very knowledgeable and friendly (you can tell the entire staff is well trained and disciplined). Forget about desert, we were more than full after an appetizer to share and an entree. It's also the first time in my life I saw a 125 dollar steak on the menu (some kind of double dry aged ribeye or something like that), so definitely pricey but very high quality, which is what you'd expect at that price point.

Our server Flor was a delight. Just the right amount of friendliness and professionalism. She was very well versed about the details of the items on the menu as well as specifics on the specials. I also noticed at other tables nearby that the servers were all very engaged with the guests. It has been a long time since my last del Frisco's visit, and I appreciate the warmer level of service that they offer now. I did have to send back my lamb chops as I ordered them medium rare (specifically requested "red but hot through") or if they use the scale "medium rare +. They arrived too rare - cold/cool to the touch. They were back very fast brought up to the right temp for me. I do want to call out specially the wine sommelier Adam. Since I wasn't planning on drinking an entire bottle of wine by myself, I like to order a glass or two by the glass or perhaps a half bottle. The red that I like with lamb is a Shiraz or Syrah which they only had by the bottle. Adam accommodated my request and I enjoyed two glasses of a petite Syrah that they had. It was perfect for me. When I thanked him for that, he explained that his job was to help guests have a pleasant wine experience according to their individual preferences. Overall, it was a very enjoyable evening and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend del Frisco's.

My boss and I made reservations for a weeknight dinner meeting with a client. We were seated right away, and our server, David, was very attentive to us, even though we were still waiting for our client to arrive. The Pineapple martini that David suggested was fabulous, as were both bottles of wine that we ordered. The appetizers were tasty, our meal was cooked perfectly, but the dessert was the star of the show. That butter cake, another suggestion by David, was excellent! Overall, our service was great- even waiters that were not assigned to our table were helpful.

We've been to the new location twice now. While the décor is eye-catching and the food is as fabulous as ever, the strategy of the location has been to break the restaurant up into several areas with a bar as the focal point of each area...large bars complete with big TV's that show non-stop sports, and patrons on tall stools - sometimes laughing and yelling (as people spending their evening bellied up to a bar often do). I'm sure that in Uptown, alcohol drives a lot of profits and I understand wanting to lure that business. However, we go to Del Frisco's for a special occasion at a great steakhouse - not because we want to go to a great bar! Sad and puzzling that Del Frisco's is no longer a traditional, elegant steakhouse. It's a bar that serves great steaks and seafood.

Went to Del Frisco’s as a first date, first visit experience. We were not disappointed. Of course the drinks were expensive. Of course the food was expensive. Of course it was worth it. I would do it all again in a heartbeat. The restaurant, not the date. I’ll need another date for a return trip. The food was perfect.

I guess I forgot how good this place is because it’s a chain. We will definitely be back. Our server Ryan was so helpful and incredibly nice. I would certainly recommend the seafood appetizer with shrimp, stone crab and crab legs. This was the best seafood I’ve had in a long time. The steak with the crab and black truffle butter was excellent on the ribeye. The creamer corn and Brussel sprouts were perfect. Our server Ryan and the ambiance of the restaurant put our experience over the top. We will be back.

Great place for excellent drinks, food and people watching. Excellent ambiance inside and a fantastic outdoor, second floor heated balcony for enjoying fresh air and spectacular views of Dallas.

Very disappointed. We had a great server, however the rest of the experience was anything but special. The speed of the service was abysmal, the treatment from the hostesses made me feel disrespected. The food came out to the wrong place for seemingly every course. It was so bad by the end we didn't bother to correct them, just waited for them to leave and fix it ourselves. For the price point, I feel like it may have been one of the worst experiences I have ever had.

I have always loved Del Frisco. The shrimp remoulade appetizer was always to die for. My husband and I wanted a special 53rd anniversary dinner out and chose Del Frisco Double Eagle Steak House. What a disappointment. They no longer offer the shrimp appetizer (that is what i wanted to go there for), the steak was flavorless, and the waiter was condescending. We may be seniors but we are astute enough to recognize when someone is not genteel. The wedge salad was very good and the crab bisque was good also as was the creamed spinach. We will not be back.

My son and I asked a local couple where the best place in town was to get a steak and they told us Del Frisco’s, but it was ‘kind of pricey’. The staff were friendly and attentive - service was top notch. The food was delectable. Try the Shanghai Style Fried Calamari, Caesar Salad, Uptown del’s Potatoes, 45 Day Aged Prime Ribeye (the best ribeye I’ve ever had), Japanese A5 Wagyu Steak (my son shared a bite & it was unbelievable!!!!), Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch Bar and Latte to finish the meal. We had plenty of doggie bags but thoroughly enjoyed the meal and restaurant ambiance. Note: the website lists a mild dress code but upon arrival, we found it wasn’t closely monitored. They really need to bring this restaurant to Phoenix. I would visit frequently. Enjoy!

We were so happy the first night we ate out, that we went there the following night as well. The filet was very well seasoned. The sides were excellent. The mashed potatoes and au gratin potatoes were both ok. The cream corn and lobster Mac and cheese were simply marvelous. The bacon was not my thing. Too much fat to enjoy it. The salads were very good and the Caesar salad was better than the wedge salad. The lobster bisque was delicious. The filet was tender and juicy and very well seasoned. Definitely recommend this place and would come again.

I have eaten here twice and both times the steaks have not been great - cooked incorrectly and totally over seasoned. They make a big thing of their sides but they are average and expensive. Not keen on the décor...outdoor patio is dark (has a roof) and lacks any ambience ..pump out loud elevator music. There are better steak places in Dallas.

If you love Del Frisco but can't afford the prices of a dinner for two on a regular basis. Try the Happy hour menu at the Bar in Dallas. Sane great Food and Service but a cheaper price. Philly cheese steak egg rolls are so yummy!

Absolutely the best place for steak! Always cooked to perfection - if you ask for medium rare, you get medium rare! The side dishes are plentiful and very, very tasty. My favorite is the adult beverages - the VIP martini - definitely worth it. The staff are exceptional and I so appreciate their attentiveness - not overdone! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area are if you are a local and want the best. $$$$$ but why waste your money on mediocre!

In town for an event,I asked the concierge at our hotel where is a good steakhouse in Dallas. Without hesitation in recommending the Frisco’s double Eagle steakhouse. He made us a reservation for that evening and we are short walk over to the restaurant. We arrive about 30 minutes before our reservation had a seat at the bar where we enjoyed first class cocktails served up by a stream Lee professional bartender, who also gave us some tips as to other locations to eat while we were in the city Dallas. When we were ready we were seated by our host And introduced to our waiter and sommelier. Our waiter, Noah, guided us through the menu and made our decisions easy. Bone in rib ribeye what is the selection of the night with shrimp and oysters as our appetizer. We were offered a huge selection of wines both by the bottle by the glass. We chose white for our appetizers and red for dinner. being able to sample prior to ordering makes quite a difference when selecting wine. we never pressure to select any particular wines And we’re given the opportunity given the opportunity to taste several before we made our final selections. Noah also provided us with some places to go to experience a little of the local flavor and we did. Thank you Noah! We were ready to call tonight when surprise Noah brought us a complementary butter cake extremely delicious again thanks Noah! Very friendly atmosphere with great food good cocktails and a very friendly staff looking forward to our return visit.

Went for a business lunch at the new-ish Del Frisco's on Olive, and thoroughly enjoyed a substantial salad entree. Ordered the Chicken Cobb, a very good portion with chunks of chicken, served with ice cold romaine lettuce. The salad dressing was rich and flavorful -- perfectly tossed with the salad. Ice tea is a bit pricey at $5, but the salad was right on target price wise at $15. The noise level for a business lunch is acceptable. Service was outstanding.

Stopped at Del Frisco’s for an evening business meal. The food was fantastic and the service was better.

The ambiance and service were excellent. The lobster bisque and bread were very good. The steak was very marginal. It was mushy and tasteless. In addition, I opted for the king crab topping. There was one very small piece of mushy king crab for which I paid an additional $22. Too many other, better steak houses from which to choose. Since steak is the primary purpose for which one visits a steakhouse, I recommend you try another steakhouse.

We have dined here twice in the last month (April 2017). From the Valet Service, to being greeted at the door, to fast seating, to extraordinary, differentiated table service, to remarkable food, your experience here will be best-in-class. The environment and design is definitely top 5 in Dallas. Great energy yet perfect for a quiet conversation. Each staff member is well trained and they work together as a team. As a "steak house", in a city of great "steak houses", Del Frisco's Double Eagle is a stand-out.

We live around the corner and won't be back. Let's start with the positives, hostess was pleasant and the tables on the terrace were well spaced. The food was good also. Good but not amazing. Where it really fell apart was the service. About 15 percent of the wait staff and runners were wearing masks. Our server was not. Manager was not wearing a mask. While pleasant overall, our server did not care about our drinks being late by more than 30 minutes. At one point I got up and walked to the bartender to check on it. I had to do it twice as the server was doing anything else but tending to our table. When they were closing, no one told us it would be imminent, when we ordered more drinks. Instead, our server disappeared a while ago and another lady just told us quite rudely that it's time to go. Other tables were still there eating. At least three more tables. A table next to us noticed how rude the server was and commented to us about it. Just shocking. For a $400 meal they should have done better. I did not feel safe because of lack of required protective masks and was appalled by the service and the manner with which we were asked to leave. In the future we will remember that Perry's is across the street and is a lot better experience.

The food is superb. Staff outstanding. They only validate for garage parking. Beware of valet around the corner.

My husband and our newly engaged friends wanted to celebrate. We got to the restaurant and had a waiter who was incredibly slow and messed up our meals and forgot our sides. He paid attention to the other guests and ignored us. We were trying to leave as rioters were coming closer and closer by. The waiter would not get our check and when he did he didn’t do it right. My husband and I ended up covering the entire check and STILL TIPPED. We should have walked out on them. My husband and his friends tried to get the car and the rioters were now there and began harassing them and throwing rocks. Worst service I’ve ever experienced. I was a server before for a nice restaurant. I know what good service is like. Rioters throwing rocks at my husband was not the restaurants fault but the fact that our waiter ignored us and was so slow caused that to happen. We were obviously worried and asking for our Check. Never going back.

Okay, when leaving a bad review, I try my best to make it constructive for all reading. I am going explain why this was disappointing and hopefully some tips for those reading to be able to minimize the possibility of this happening to them (maybe even the restaurant will listen?). This is an expensive restaurant and a certain level of expectation of service and the overall experience is expected, neither were met. We had a party of 12. They were as overwhelmed by this as a chain restaurant on an off day with new employees would be. It took literally an hour to get our appetizers. They dropped off enough bread, which many of us started eating, to feed an army, it literally reach a point of ridiculousness. Also, one of the wait staff was clearly not having a good day and was rude to one of our members of the table which escalated to a talk with the manager. At this point management should have been a lot more proactive, they were not. It almost seems that this "transgression" was being taken personal and the revenge was being exacted upon out party. Drinks would take 10-15 minutes to show up etc. When the food finally did arrive, much of it was cold or prepared poorly. To be fair, mine was fine, but the experience at this point was 100% ruined. Our party was not very manageable at this point and they were angry. I can say after a long day of a tradeshow and wanting a nice relaxing meal and getting exactly the opposite, sat poorly will all. Nothing was done to mitigate this. There was no interaction by a manager at our table from what I saw. After we ate, it still took 10 minutes to get a bill. I was literally asking why I was still there. When we did get the bill, they were wrong and half the party paid the wrong one and tensions were high and it frankly was a mess and again, the evening was 100% ruined and escalated, enough that I left and waited outside as to not get further upset. This is rare for me as I would rather get in the fray, but everything was so bad, I wanted to salvage what little there was left. The cherry on the sundae of this experience was the meal was so long that it went over 3 hours and I ended up paying $25 to park in the "free" parking. My advice; if you have a large party, forget it, they are not capable. They really demonstrated that. My guess is if you are a couple or a small family, the experience would be better? I wonder if the mess at our table affected the quality of food and experience at other tables, I think it had to. Our table was poorly handled and some of us were literally at a yelling match at the end of the night over everything. It made a long difficult day, FAR worse, and had the exact opposite affect that it should have. I would normally be fair and say maybe it was an "off night", but the poor handling of the situation by the management says otherwise to me. I would not recommend this restaurant and would look for an independent restaurant where the passion and the care is still take to give excellent service. My guess is at these prices, we could have done a lot better elsewhere. It also appears that there a lot of recent negative reviews, I wish we had consulted TA before going, clearly something is amiss here with all of these recent bad reviews. It is a chain that has lost the passion of the original concept to me, again it is sad.

Whenever I’m in a town where there is a Del Frisco’s Steakhouse, I have a meal there. If you like excellent food and impeccable service in a classy but fairly casual atmosphere, I’m not sure you can do better. The staff always calls you to confirm your reservation in advance, and are warm and friendly, even if you ask to add additional folks to your table- thank you Gina. The greeters, our head waiter (Ryan I believe) and the entire wait staff, sommelier, and manager were all absolutely fabulous. Our group started off with cocktails. The mixed drinks are done right and the wine selection is plentiful with many wonderful choices and a pretty broad price range. The table shared an order of Nueske’s bacon as an appetizer. If you haven’t had Nueske’s bacon anywhere, I highly recommend it- if you have had it, get it here anyway. It is a thick slab glazed with maple syrup and is pretty amazing. The salads here- like the wedge Are as good as you will have anywhere. Everything is fresh flavorful. I had a filet Oscar cooked to perfection at medium rare. The filet melts in your mouth and is an awesome piece of beef that tastes like it- not over spiced or salty. The crab was fresh and a delightful addition. We had sides of lobster Mac and cheese- I’ve never had it anywhere else I liked it as much as here, grilled asparagus and house potatoes. All were excellent. The table shared some lemon cake and warm, banana bread pudding. Both were really good. The deserts are pretty large and easy to share with 2-3 people. The coffee is great as well to finish with your dessert. What can I say, Del Friso’s does it right by setting the standards across the board so high wherever you join them, it’s hard to go anywhere else for a great steak. (They also have seafood, pork and chicken on the menu). Enjoy!

Bad streak. 2 people, 2 steaks. Appetizer & 2 sides. Appetizer was cold. Steaks poor quality and poorly cooked. No wine. Cost 300. Didn’t eat much of anything.”

I will start by saying that the restaurant is beautiful and the service was impeccable. From the time we walked in and the hostesses greeted us to the minute we left, the staff made us feel welcome and for these things alone, I would go back. The restaurant has high ceilings and tall windows and my husband and I sat in a large booth side by side and had a great view of outside. We started off with oysters and shrimp cocktail. They were both extremely fresh and the shrimp were large and delicious. The oysters had some type of sauce on them (which I am not used to with raw oysters, but it was fine). If you see the menu and see that the oysters come with several sauces, know that they don't. We both opted for the prime ribeye steak and the quality of the steak was good and cooked to perfection. The waiter took the time to explain the difference between rare with a warm center and rare with a cool center and he nailed it. The reason I rated this restaurant three stars is because we came for the steak and there was so much salt on the steak that it was the only thing we tasted (and I LOVE salt). There was so much that it was crunching as I chewed. I know that sounds gross, but it gives you a good idea of the quantity. That also went for the sides. The wild mushrooms and onions came in a sauce that was delicious, but very salty and the same for the sauteed spinach. I understand that I am eating out and expected things to be salty, but I do not think that salt should be the primary and pronounced flavor. I do like to taste the flavor of the steak and the rest of the food. Maybe this was a one-off and someone just had a heavy hand. I will go back again and give it another try, but I am providing this info so that maybe if you go you and don't want the same experience you can have them go light on the salt and then your rating might be a five star rating.

Valet out front of this 2 story place helps when trying to find a parking space downtown. We had reservations and were whisked away to our private room once we arrived. It was up a spiral staircase that showcased wines throughout and down the hallway. The room was set up very nicely. Waiters were extremely attentive. The house salad has a nice creamy avocado dressing and strips of bacon. The guys sure loved that! The 6 oz filet was cooked to perfection and was like butter to eat. The broccolini and mashed potatoes were a nice accompaniment. Chocolate mousse dessert was served in a parfait dish - large portion. Most of the guys enjoyed the cheesecake with strawberries - mile high slices. They had computer trouble, so we had to wait about 20 mins. afterward to get the check. Only little hiccup. Nice visit!

I am very picky with my steak. I give this place 6/5..... perfect cut, perfect cook. I requested to see the chef. The chef came out and we had selfie. Very rarely I asked to see the chef, I showed him the bone, no meat left on it... I should have a picture to share with everyone. But I switch my phone. You have to take my words for it. Reserve and enjoy. You can not go wrong.

Dallas location- TERRIBLE! Had to send steak back THREE times and it still was undercooked heavily! The creamed spinach had no cream and no flavor. I had to ask for salt and pepper. Ended up telling them not to bring me out another steak…a steakhouse should at the minimum know how to cook a steak. I’ve been to other locations (Atlanta) and had spectacular food…this was a huge disappointment! Don’t waste your time or money at the Dallas location. I hate it here! (Side note: The server was nice…I hate he has to work here!)

Upon walking inside we were not greeted properly. Hostess was distracted on her phone by the bar. My sister was graduating so we used the private room upstairs. A live ROACH 🪳 came onto the table after receiving our drinks. Our server stated verbatim “I didn’t see a roach did you? What roach?” Then proceed to place it in a napkin while smiling. To me that wasn’t the time or place to joke and be nonchalant about the situation. Step 1: sincerely apologize and get a manager involved. We should have left honestly. No apology was made sadly until way later by the event hostess. She was friendly. So we requested the other as well manager. Nor the wait staff or managers could figure out the display so we were unable to play our slide show. Seemed as if NO ONE knew how to use their own equipment, which baffled me. My mother had to stand up point at the guest who kept trying to flag the server down for drinks. It’s unfortunate that I had to excuse myself from the table to go find the 2 waiters we had for service repeatedly. The wait staff & how management handled the entire situation was honestly disappointing. I will never recommend this location to anyone. I have been in the food & service industry for 17 years. As a manger, server and bartender. I’ve honestly had better service at a Chilis which is honestly sad to say due to the reputation this place has. I had a horrid experience. Do not waste your time or money here.

Excellent as always. Food is always consistent and drinks are excellent. We love the Mac n cheese and the duck meatballs.

Friends wanted to take out for a treat so we went to Del Frisco’s Maybe the steaks are ok. I don’t know but the tuna was really poorly done I didn’t want to embarrass my hosts so I said nothing but $46 for cold fish - and overcooked at that- was a joke Next time they want to thank me I’ll insist on going somewhere else

Everything started out well. However, the poor rating is for two reasons... #1 : the servers who brought our steaks essentially threw our plates down in front of us (and we were served each other’s plate) and we mentioned this at the onset with no response so we reached out to switch plates and SEARED our fingers! The plates were so unbelievably scalding hot. It is reasonable to surmise that the reason the plates were dumped down in front of us and delayed in being moved was because the few layers of cloth that the poor servers had protecting their own fingers was indeed they were being burning themselves. One of the managers (Anthony) on duty was very professional and appropriate in his response and resolution (Which was limited as the damage was done). Our waitress (who was innocent in the process) was very sweet. The second reason for the one star is the GM Gina ; her manner in which she responded the next day when my husband called to share his concerns was shockingly inappropriate, especially in contrast to Anthony. She had a distinct “smile” to the sound of her voice and clearly non caring in her responses (actually seemed annoyed) . She is NOT an asset to this establishment. Her response was “all our plates are hot” (as if we , as first timers to Del Frescos, —-NOT to 4-5 star steak houses... would “know” that) . Just very unprofessional. Needless to say we lost sleep that night and ruined our trip to Dallas for the weekend due to throbbing fingers . Such a shame . Maybe they need the servers need to wear obvious oven mitts to send the message to patrons the plates are HOT. This is definitely not a child friendly environment.

Our waitress, Ellen, was very attentive and knowledgeable of the restaurant’s menu. She was the perfect mix of personable and professional. The food was spot on! I started with a crab cake. Then, ordered a wedge salad and the 8 oz. filet paired with mashed potatoes, creamed corn and asparagus. Highly recommend the creamed corn. The wine selection was very expansive, but did not take advantage considering my favorite bottle jumped out at me from the get-go!

I have been to Del Frisco's many times when visiting Dallas on business trips and always enjoyed it and appreciated the fine experience -- one of the best consistently. But this time I was in Dallas as a speaker for the Trigild Spring Lender Conference and they took all of us speakers out to lunch at Del Frisco's. This was one of the best group meals I have ever had. Great food. Great service. And DJ is now my favorite server. Look for great things from DS.

I had not been to Del Frisco's until now as I generally believe I can prepare a steak just as well at home for a fraction of the price. Dallas is full of absurdly expensive steak houses. But, as this was Restaurant Week, I thought I would give it a try. We went with another couple. We arrived early and had a drink at the bar. My Manhattan was good enough but not memorable. We were seated promptly at a nice table. The ambience is excellent. Its an attractive room. The $49 three course menu for Restaurant Week gave me the opportunity to try their steaks with some fancy sauces, which I do not do at home. I had the filet medallions, one with Bearnaise and one with a bordelaise sauce. The bordelaise was the clear winner. I would go back for another steak with that sauce. The meat itself was remarkably tender and flavorful. Really excellent steak! My wife loved her crab cakes, stating they were among the best she had ever had (and she is very picky about crab cakes). Our dining companions enjoyed their steaks as much as I did. The sides were fine, but not memorable (what you would expect at their usual price point). For dessert I had the Belgian chocolate mousse with salted caramel fudge. Also very good but not an "OMG" experience. Service was good but oddly we were never asked if we wanted coffee with our dessert. (We didn't, but strange that no one even asked us.) Nonetheless, it was a very good deal due to Restaurant Week and a good introduction to this fine establishment. I would consider a return for the right occasion.

Took my son here for his birthday. We ordered two of the most expensive steaks on the menu. Was not impressed at all. Normal steak, as in I could get it anywhere. It was so over spiced amd salted I could not even finish it. They offered us a free desert to make up for the steak. Service was good. For two people, no alcohol, two steaks, two salads, two sides, total bill was $198.00 before tip. Disappointed. I had high hopes for this restaurant and was excited to visit it. Hope things improve.

Taken here by a colleague who lives locally. Service was excellent throughout. A knowledgeable waiter who was able to answer any questions, suggest meals, describe the origins of food, then gave us plenty of space to enjoy our dinner without intrusion but who was always there when we needed him. Food was exactly as we ordered and full of flavour. Long wine list as well. A great evening all round.

We part of a larger party but food and dervishes were excellent. Will definitely return on my next visit

This place runs incredibly well. We had a team of servers and wine level never in our glasses was never down fir more than five minutes. Food was excellent steak with all the sides. This is a large happening restaurant that still manages to give personalized service. It is not inexpensive but it is worth it. God place for a birthday, or a business dinner

Food was absolutely incredible, atmosphere was very nice. Service was great. I highly recommend their signiture VIP cocktail! Our only issue was that after appetizers we both had ordered salads before our entrées. Our entrées came out and we had never received our salads, the waitress came over to apologize as we were halfway through our entrées and asked if we’d still like the salads and we said no that was OK, since we were almost done now. She said what if I just bring one out and you could just split one of them we said that was fine. I guess we were just a little surprised when we got our check and we were still charged for the salad that that was brought out as our last course after our meal.

We went with my brother and sister in law. There are lots of great steak houses is a Dallas to choose from. The whole experience at Del Frisco’s was uneven. The server was darling and tried really hard. Super friendly and eager. The carpaccio was excellent, the tuna tartar was average. The crab cakes were outstanding. Two out of four steaks had to be sent back, they were ordered medium and arrived bloody. The time gap between the appetizers and the main course was excruciating and then half was sent back to be cooked more. We were really wondering when dinner was going to arrive after 20 minutes of waiting. The steaks were fine, but nothing special. The butter cake dessert was terrific. Del Frisco’s felt like a chain restaurant experience, but at steak house prices. They obviously knew that service was substandard as they offered to comp the dessert without us even asking. Dinner for 4 was $425 before tip and for that kind of money, we’ll go to Nicks and Sams instead. Relatively similar menu with far better overall quality and experience. All and all, it just felt like a chain restaurant version of an exclusive steak house, but at the same price. We won’t be going back.

We were in Dallas recently moving our daughter into her new apartment and decided to eat fancy at Del Frisco's. It did not disappoint! The environment is classy, elegant, chill. We sat on the main floor by the bar in a large horseshoe booth that comfortably sat our 4 adults (more could've fit). Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. We ordered an array of things from lobster tail and sea bass, to steaks and butter cake (get the butter cake!!). All was delicious. Now, there's no secret that you will need to be prepared to spend money. It's expensive for sure, which is not our norm, but for a special night out I felt it entirely worth it.

Started out poorly. Requested a table outside for 10 for my son's birthday dinner, heaters, socially distanced (got to go with the pandemic flow!) Got three separate tables next to a group of about thirty people. My wife was not having any of that, so after my daughter spoke to the manager and let him know that mom was not happy, the manager very kindly took over the situation, got us seated inside by the wine racks, well done. It was secluded enough were my wife felt she had more privacy. Thank you to the manager and his team for fixing the situation quickly spiraling out of control. Dinner was ok for the most part, took a long time to get things out. Best: calamari, shrimp cocktail, Tomahawk steak, crab cakes, meatballs, filet, sides (potatoes, corn, spinach). So-so: tuna tartare, lobster and shrimp as part of Double Eagle special : small, dried out. Filet was bloody despite request for medium with no pink. Shrimps were tough and dry. Lobster bisque OK, too salty. Wedge salad and burrata excellent. Drinks were OK, margarita not good, Moscow mule good, martini good.

On a football trip in Dallas, we had dinner at Del Friscos. We had an outstanding evening. We started with a seafood plate for 4 with King Crab and Shrimps. It was perfectly cooked and accompanied with sauces that went very well with it, not hiding the flavor but enhancing it. We then jumped to the 45 days aged ribeye. I am always worried that my steak could be over cooked when I ask for rare but this was not the case. Perfectly cooked and so tender, one of the best steak I have had. I had the extra crab and truffles on it which gave it an extra kick. Really awesome. Special thanks to the sommelier with awesome suggestions. I asked for a cabernet sauvignon but with remaining acidity and he found just that. We took the last two bottles. It is especially the way the sommelier spoke about the wine and was able to make the experience so exciting. A very special evening. It is obviously a bit costly but for everything we ate and drank that evening, I still find it a good value.

Just wanted to experience the high life and boy was it worth it. The staff was exceptional and very helpful in providing knowledge of the menu and the preparation of the food was perfect. Steaks cooked exactly asked for, and the lobster macaroni was very good. Would say this is for more of the upper class but well worth visiting once in a lifetime if you love a great steak.

Went early after work. They have a great food and beverage menu in the bar during happy hour. And the service was also good.

Excellent in every way. Steak was as good as it gets. Service was great. Sides were really good especially the creamed spinach. I liked the old location better. It had more of a steak house feel but the new place is sleek.

Our first visit to Del Frisco's will not be our last! We recently dined here for NYE expecting crowds, delayed seating and an overpriced price-fixe menu and our experience was just the opposite. The hostess was nice and welcoming and asked us to sit at the bar until our table was ready. The bar service was fast and efficient and our cocktails were very good. We only had to wait 15 minutes for our table and were led up the lovely, winding staircase to the second level. The table setting was elegant, the lighting was nice and the ambiance was romantic. Our server was friendly, helpful and just the perfect amount of attentiveness. The four-course $90 NYE meal was delicious with many choices in each category. The wedge salad and shrimp cocktail were both great appetizers. The lobster bisque and crab cake for the second course were both enjoyable and delicious, especially with the loaf of sesame-seed bread and whipped butter to accompany these dishes. The salmon entree and scallop dish were both cooked to perfection and the portions were huge! (We had great take-home boxes!). The Del Frisco's potatoes (twice baked potatoes) were awesome! The grand finale was the chocolate souffle cake with ice cream that was a great finish to a most wonderful meal. Overall - everything was most impressive. We will definitely be dining here again!

The downfall of a once great steakhouse. Pros: - Friendly waiter. - Hip location. - Cool interior design (but see cons). - Quality beef (but see cons). Cons: - Surly, indifferent hostesses. Nary a smile from any of them, and only one made any eye contact, and that was fleeting. - We had reservations, but had to wait about an hour to be seated. And then we were seated at a 6-8 person table when it was only two of us. - Steaks were great quality, but over seasoned. It was if the point of the meat was to give the seasoning something to be delivered on. - Asparagus was cooked perfectly. Shame a third of it was inedible because it was the tough lower stalk. - Atmosphere was very noisy: that cool interior has almost no noise-absorbing surfaces, so the place is loud, loud, loud. I had trouble hearing the person sitting next to me, and we often overheard the conversations around us because everyone was almost shouting to be heard. - Price point for all this was exorbitant. Del Frisco's used to be a great steakhouse. They have moved on and now are overpriced mid-market quality. Dine elsewhere.

My husband and I have been fans of this location for years. I was completely surprised about the way we were treated this evening. Waited at the bar for 15 minutes to finally be acknowledged and given water that was 'accidentally' made for someone else bartender literally used those words. After another 10 minutes of being ignored, we unfortunately left a space that's housed amazing memories for us to include birthdays, anniversaries and just a good time out. Good news is that the team at Mexican Sugar provided a warm genuine welcome and helped us immediately. Took about 8 minutes to get comfy at the bar and the Volcano Old Fashioned is delicious. Disappointed that we are forced to create memories elsewhere...

We came here on valentines day for an anniversary celebration...Very good. The crab cake was delicious...That butter cake,wow...need that recipe...

Great steaks cooked perfectly with friendly service - makes for a great night. We were a group of 8 and everything came out to order. As for the sides the mashed potatoes and the asparagus were sensational. Not being familiar with most of the wines the assistance from the sommelier was spot on. Looking for a restaurant where being well dressed is not out of place - Del Frisco’s!

First date was here and everything was perfect. Staff was great and knowledgeable, kept our glasses full, and the food was absolutely amazing. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and tasted just as great. Definitely recommend for just a dinner, a date, a business meeting, anything really.

My wife and I had a date night at Del Frisco's in Uptown on April 29, 2017 and were disappointed with the food especially for the premium price we paid. The oysters were good and fresh but pricey. The bleu cheese wedge salad was filling but the prime ribeye steak was a huge letdown. The first steak had way too much salt on it and we couldn't finish the first bite. The second steak was over cooked and burned. I was not willing to try a third time so we paid our bill and left. I will never go back as there are several other steakhouses in Dallas with an overall better experience for less. I will mention the bartender serving us did a great job and also mentioned the steaks are usually over seasoned. Looks like Del Frisco's needs help in the kitchen.

An old favorite with a beautiful new building. While Del Frisco Double Eagle has always been part of North Dallas this new location matches the interior to the service. Huge bar with an outstanding wine list. Private wine rooms and two level dinning. The food is classic and quality as always. Steak cooked perfectly. Winning level of service to match. Definitely a must do!

Wonderful food with excellent service-I enjoyed the fillet steak which was amazing! I succumbed to the cheesecake which was amazing too! Would definitely eat there again!

Wow! Got the royal treatment for our party. Beautiful table setting upstairs. The service was fabulous. As soon as the manager heard about our allergies he came up to see us along with another manager. The server was superb and the food was awesome. Can't wait to come again.

Paying $6.00 per beer and the bartender is more interested in talking with his female coworker than making sure my beer is replenished.

I checked out Del Frisco's with a friend from another country. The service was great, the steak was impeccable and done to perfection. But the price was pretty hefty. I guess if one is on a business account it is a good place to eat. Otherwise look for a good steak at a less pricey restaurant.

Our steak dinner was delicious, the wine list lovely. Setting was trendy. The dessert menu was great. Staff was helpful.

I just left Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse. Come on guys! You were *&^%ing ridiculous. I walk in and the lady at the front who supposed to be greeting guests as they arrived stayed on the phone for 6 mins! She kept telling me someone would come and she did. Walked behind the bar placed something and walked away. I guess she was not the one. A man came did not smile or speak as he passed but as I just stood there, I guess he felt compelled to say something and he told me someone would be with me in a minute. I was on my lunch break. I ordered 2 crab cakes. No one ever came so I left. But, while I was just standing at the bar I noticed how dirty their glasses looked hanging and their windows and it's Christmas! Although with their prices it should be crystal clean daily. The prices they charge, their ambiance, and customer service are not matching up! New management please!!! No other Del Frisco's in other cities are like Dallas! You're fired!!! You're ruining their brand dirty bird!

Went to the Dallas location last night and as usual, everything was perfect. The waiter, Michael, was awesome. I’ll definitely ask for him every time we come to this location. He recommended a great new wine that we had never had before and we loved it. The shrimp tasted great and the steaks were cooked perfectly. My favorite is the lemon cake for dessert. Perfect night.

Expensive! Great menu. Top notch wait staff - ask for NOAH. In fact, Noah may be one of the best waiter's I have ever experienced. He did get busy and disappeared for awhile but his backup staff covered his tush nicely. My only rub was a few of our dishes came out undercooked. I only mention this because I was asked specifically if I wanted it seared cold or warm. I said warm and it was delivered cold. Free desert on my birthday was a nice touch

For those looking to spoil a spouse or significant other, this is an awesome spot. Great break from monotonous into a land of unknown flavor sand options. We had 4 professionals and ordered Prime Strip, featured scallops, and the sea bass. Sides were family style so plenty to share: chateau mashed potatoes, grilled Brussel sprouts, and onion rings. Decadent taste! I would also recommend the pomegranate martini! Really wanted dessert but no room.

The steak was beyond expectation, the ambiance was romantic and quiet, and the desert was a perfect way to finish. Great experience overall. Out server Callie was great and accommodating.

Very unimpressed. The bread was odd. The salad was worse than the pre- packaged salads I get from Wal-Mart. The mashed potatoes were excessively peppered. The broccolini and the steak was bland. Just not impressed whatsoever. I recommend you goto Knife, Perrys, Bob's chop, and Nick&Sams if you're spending this much money.

Relatively new location for franchise but wonderful space 2 floors full service on both floors full bar upstairs too. Outside dining or lounging too. Unbelievable wine selection, cocktails and they do steak very well. I sat at upstairs bar and on a lively night with several cocktail parties going on I was still taken care of by BOTH bartenders! Oysters in fact put 8 on plate "because they were small" started me off on right foot a proper caesar salad with anchovy lobster bisque yummy and bone in filet cooked perfectly medium. Out of sorbet but have ice cream to clean palate and a port to cut the sweetness then outside foe a tokaji glass of Hungarian wine as night cap. No pics because I enjoyed the experience didn't document during meal till now!

This place is hopping, and for good reasons! My daughter had the filet with truffle butter, I had the ribeye. Both we cooked perfectly. The flavors were spectacular- we are still thinking about these steaks! Be sure to dress accordingly, because everyone looked gorgeous walking through the doors and bring lots of $$$$$, but it's worth every penny. Shout out to our excellent server, Callie.

Del Frisco's lives up to its name and reputation with amazing food that is worth the steeper price. I highly recommend the 8oz filet, and I even moreso recommend trying to make it to the restaurant during Dallas' resturant week for special deals on meals.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our steak and dining experience. Key, a new waiter, took great care of us. We had the ribeye, 8 oz filet, 4 oz kids filet, and kids chicken tenders. All were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Enjoyed the wedge salad (plenty to split). Sides stand a little room for improvement but still good (we had Brussels sprouts, whipped potatoes and asparagus).

I had dinner and drinks here with friends. The service was meticulous. We ordered several starters and sides, and the bacon stole the show by a landslide. Unfortunately none of the others were that great (the lobster mac and cheese was on the bland side, and the lobster pieces were apparently in witness protection). The steaks were fine. Dinner was okay, in all, but for the money spent it was an underwhelming experience.

Service was excellent. The oysters were so good we had to order another dozen. Cesar salad along with the other sides we ordered were all done well, but the steak was king. I had the bone in filet which was perfectly cooked and succulent, first class all the way. No decent grappa on their listing, but wine list had many good bets, and a decent port to polish off a thoroughly enjoyable meal.

It was wonderful to have staff members that took care of us that knew the menu, knew the drinks, knew the wines and great attitudes. Our table was right by the upstairs bar yet it was not loud. Beautiful display of wines in the center of the restaurant. The only downside was when we walked in the door there was a strong smell of fish. We started to leave but when we found out we were going upstairs we stayed. The smell was not near as strong up there. Great evening, wonderful service, oh and the food was Perfect.

No issues with food or service. Steak salad had lots of steak cooked exactly as ordered. Would return.

We just had a fantastic dinner at Del Frisco’s. The decor and atmosphere were perfect for the holidays. The attention to detail and professional and friendly service made our evening. There were a few changes we asked for on our order and each addition exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this restaurant . Best time out where everything was handled well in a while. Kudos to the staff and chef!

Our waiter Mason made our experience great! Fun, helpful and friendly. Great selection on cocktails. We had calamari and crab cakes for appetizer. Steaks and Tuna were all delicious. Beautiful restaurant.

Ordered a salad added chicken and it was 32.00 a tad bit expensive but nice place. the staff was great

Worst experience at a fine dining restaurant. Means a lot for someone who eats dinner at a restaurant 5 days a week. 1. No napkins on 3 out of 4 seats. 2. No options for vegetarians, even though their menu advertised Cauliflower steak. I am sure Del Friscoe does not care about Anyone who does not eat meat. At least Ruth Chris is upfront about it. 3. Steaks were not cooked as ordered. 4. On reorder steaks were still not cooked properly . 5. No steak knives despite having steaks on table “twice” 6. We have salads as the only choice offered to the vegetarian on table. 7. For F*** sake… we are in the middle of Dallas not in Bell Buckle Tennessee. Ruth Chris and Longhorns provide so much better service than this terrible place. No manager ever came by and even offered apology for such a terrible service.

Had dinner for 10. It was business setting made to feel more like a big family dinner. The staff was knowledgeable, well trained, and ATTENTIVE! Food and wine was unbelievable.

This is a great place to take customers. It ain't cheap but impressive. Food is outstanding as is the cigar bar. Great way to entertain customers and their wives

Really very well done. Casual elegance reminiscent of the 1900's variety/old days dining elegance. You'd expect top beef in these kind of places - seafood too - & they deliver-the-goods. But, the stars-of-the-show may be their side dishes ... creamed spinach, potato anything, etc. + desserts that will cost you at least 2-extra hours/day at the gym for a couple weeks to atone ... & worth it. Skip appetizers - not because they are not top-shelf like everything else ... rather, because unless you go at least a svelte 1/4-ton, you can't possibly handle that much chow. As it is, we eat sides & desserts there & have a couple great lunches courtesy of Señor Doggie Bag filled w/our beef entre's. Nice treat for any occasion. A long-time favorite at the top of their game consistently, year-in-year-out. BooRah.

We took 12 adults and 1 child for Thanksgiving and had a great meal with excellent service. Half of the table ordered the Thanksgiving meal. It was traditional and super flavorful. Half of the table ordered off the menu. Steaks, salmon and sides. All food was GREAT! Service was excellent.

Was there with a group where we had various appetizers, I liked the calamari which was different but tasty. The steak( a lot of choices) was good and cooked as requested but once again why should patrons be charged extra for mashed potatoes. Considering the size of the group service was very good.

A friend recommended this place. Beautiful old historic building. Michael behind the bar had a lot of history to share as well a great bourbon. We were seated right on time. I would highly recommend reservations. Once seated the service was prompt. These guys provide a level of service that’s missing in most places. They truly make you feel at is, with the goal to fully blow you away. The wine list is extensive. The bone in Filet was OUTSTANDING!!! My wife and I shared the Mac ‘ n Cheese, two thumbs up and the Brussels. We were stuffed and could not tackle dessert. We were told that the Butter cake is a most. If you go save room. Curb side valet makes the experience very easy. A big shout out to the wine director, Lindsey.

We use Del Frisco’s for our annual Christmas party. They provided a room that was separate from the rest of the restaurant, had a balcony that was separate, if people wanted to be outside. The room provided a very intimate experience for our small group of 20 as we were able to talk to almost everyone at the table. 20 is very cozy for the smaller room. As we have grown in size, we will look for a larger venue. Service was great, and everyone was served at the same time.

Every item we ordeee was good. Every drink was well made. The server Paul was very knowledgeable and helpful. From the hostess who welcomed us to the end of our meal which was 3 hours in all we had a great time. Appetizers oysters, crab cakes; entree bone in ribeye, lamb and salmon. Sides Brussel sprouts, lobster mashed potatoes and cream corn. Dessert bread pudding, pineapple upside down cake and hazelnut crunch chocolate bar. Drinks: double eagle margarita, beer and wine. We had leftovers and loved every moment of the evening. Music was a little loud but we could hear each other. Everyone is friendly and help you relax. I would go here again and again. Worth every expensive penny!

Lights way too bright shining onto tables by windows. Food was pretty good and their VIP drink was awesome. I had to smile they way they price drink specials with the 50 cent in very small print next to the main dollar amount. Onion rings were great. I'd advise to do what we asked for--light on the salt/pepper on the steaks.

Mike and Dan are the best! Super quick and attentive service. My best friend and I visited this location and had a great first experience. Mike makes a great espresso martini!

Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse is an upgraded and outstanding experience. This is not the Del Frisco's we've grown accustomed to. This is a luxury and quality at every point in the dining experience. Our servers Ryan, Chelsea, and Luis were first rate. The aged steaks, salads and desserts were over the top. Must do!!!

The music was too loud and one table of three men were talking louder than anyone in the restaurant. Their favorite adjectives were Fu _k, F_ckin, and F_cking. There were numerous families with children in the immediate vicinity of these men. I mentioned it to the waiter and the manager spoke to them. They only used it 10 more times before we were through with our dinner. I'm sure the two African-American families were impressed with the conversation about the Civil War and Emancipation. Classy! The fact that these three weren't reseated at the bar or exited off the premises is reason for me to never return. How ironic that I can't use the actual words in the review that we endured.

Great lunch with a super attentive waitress/bartender. Was able to watch the President's Cup and have an awesome steak all in one fell swoop!

Our board reserved Del Frisco's for a business lunch. This was first time so I had no expectations. We had a special menu. I ordered the 28 day aged ribeye on the recommendation of our server. We had 3 huge prawns with 3 dribbled with 3 tasty sausages. This was followed with a salad topped by 2 slices of bacon-thick, crisp, juicy--that set the new bar for bacon! The aged ribeye was cooked medium rare as ordered...it was moist, seasoned with a dusting of pepper corns and so tender! Best I've had in my limited experience in Dallas. I finished the meal with a creamy cheesecake that was topped by strawberries. I "hope" to eat at Del Frisco's on my return.

Not very crowded on a Tuesday night so thought the evening would move right along. There was 8 of us and there was 4 or 4 times the evening dragged to a stop. The first time was when I waiter disappeared to go get a wine list. Next the waiter started in on the specials that went on and on. When he took our order for our appetizer he suggested we order out entree so dinner would flow better. Even seen 8 people sit around for 20 minutes waiting between courses? The meat came out and it was another 10 minutes getting all the sides. Our 6:30 dinner finished at 9:15. We were there to eat, not linger. The food was good but you expect that from the prices you pay.

We ate here and was totally blown away, the hostess was dressed nicely and very sweet. The waiter was a stand up comedian but very timely, and attentive to all our needs. The food was just excellent. We had steaks, lobster, octopus, bacon, the really expensive steaks... Everything was just over the top.....

I’m typically not the type of person that leave reviews but after the terrible experience we had last night I had to let people know that’s Del Friscos is not what it used to be. Starting when we arrived I pulled into the valet and said to my wife why would they put the Valet literally at the furthest possible point from the restaurant, do they know that valet parking is supposed to be for the customer’s convenience not to make the valets job easier. After that we went into the restaurant ordered a drink at the bar and did get promptly seated, but the good part ended there. The waiter was very rude, he kept try to joke around which I understand that he wants to make you feel comfortable but at a certain point you need to turn that off and take care of us. But to say the least that never happened. He jokingly kept acting like the guys don’t matter and only paid attention to the ladies, which is fine at first but after a while it just became annoying because we couldn’t get him to take us seriously. We couldn’t order our drinks or food because his little show wouldn’t stop, if I wanted a dinner and show I would have gone to medieval times not to del friscos. After a while of him not taking us seriously I asked what his names was because I didn’t hear him when he walked up, his response was that I don’t know his name because he didn’t tell us his name. So after his next little joke he finally told me that his name was Masson. We ordered our food and drinks and mason never came back to check on us, if he would have we would have known that the salad order came out wrong and they only brought out half of our drinks. I had to stop other employees in order to get our drinks. Once the food came out we saw immediately that the steaks were cooked to the wrong temperature, my wife and I order medium rare but it was definitely rare and the plate was bloody. And our other 2 guests ordered medium and their plates were just as bloody as ours. We had them take it back before they finished putting down the plates. At this point the entire table had sent their steaks back, I would expect now that Masson or the manager would come and check on us because a complete table of steaks were sent back, that never happened. No one ever came to apologize or to assure us the steaks would be corrected, so we just patiently waited with our empty glasses. When the steaks came out the second time me and my wife steaks were ok but our other guests steaks are still undercooked but we were tired of waiting so they just struggled through. While they were putting down the sides we saw that they brought out a side of corn that we didn’t order, we informed the gentleman that was bring our food and he said not to worry we can go ahead and enjoy it, stick a pin in that we’ll come back to it at the end. Once we had our first taste of steak I knew for sure that this wasn’t the del friscos that it used to be, the steak was completely flavorless. Yes of course it had seasoning, but unless that bite you were eating had chunk of salt on it you weren’t tasting much more, It was extremely disappointing. And once again we didn’t have drinks, so we asked another waitress walking by for a couple soft drinks and she did bring them out. I went to the bar to get my own cocktail because I had given up on asking Masson for anything. So we had our disappointing dinner and asked for the dessert menu, we did order a banana bread dessert that was very good. Unfortunately I had to ask them if they still had the lemon cake because it was never offered to us. The waitress said yes so I ordered one to go since we didn’t have the opportunity to have one there because it was never offered. After this we get the bill which was $500+ which is ok because I was expecting that, what annoyed me is that damn corn that we didn’t order was on the bill. At this pointed I wanted to speak to the manager and tell him or her what a terrible experience everything had been but my wife asked me not to because we had invited 2 other guest with us and she would feel embarrassed and she didn’t want to make them feel uncomfortable. At that point we just left and started our hike back to the opposite ended of the parking lot to the valet booth where the valet just handed me the keys, pointed at my car and told me it would be $15. Ok I paid, but no need to pull up the car or open the door it’s not like your a valet and it’s not like I paid, right? It sucks to say but for a dinner like the one we experienced, save your money and go to salt grass steakhouse. I will be telling my friends to avoid this place. And if you do go have dinner here give Masson my best because I never saw him again.

This place failed miserably on so many fronts. 1. Asked everyone to take hats off at our table in a really rude way. When it was pointed out that they had their staff in a hat they didn’t really know how to respond. 2. Recommended an expensive wine that tasted like rubbish, obviously they were trying to get rid of it. 3. We ordered $100 steaks all round and not one of them came cooked as requested, when we pointed out that the steak that came already cut up was basically raw the took the more raw prices and put them back on the grill. Never once offering to replace it or to give any kind of discount. This restaurant is a joke they act and charge like they’re a 5 star steak house and don’t even have table cloths on the table. Time to get better or close the doors.

My husband and I were recently there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. ALL of the staff - from the hostess to the manager made us feel so special and welcome. Our servers, Moses and Callie were superb and went above and beyond. All of our food was delicious - the steaks were cooked just how we ordered them and were so flavorful and tender, the shrimp were fresh and great size, the onion rings were gigantic, and come with way more than two people can eat, and the Brussel sprouts were so yummy. Great place for a nice date night or to celebrate a special occasion!

Events team was so great to work with, the pricing was straightforward and service was impeccable. Thank you to Lauren for helping make our night special!

The newest Double Eagle in Plano offers a lively location along with their proven fine dining experience. In a city where steakhouses are abundant Del Frisco reins supreme with the quality steaks and extensive wine list!

This dining experience was perfect. From the pineapple martini to the butter cake the food was incredible. The service was spot on and offered great recommendations. The bone in fillet was exceptional and the lobster mac the perfect side dish. I can say nothing negative about the evening we had at Del Frisco's. We even received a nice thank you note from Michael when we arrived home, that is above and beyond what you expect from a fine dining establishment.

A fine restaurant like this should have good food. I invited a large group to lunch for Restautant week. The salmon ws dry and the sauce was scarce. Few of us cared for the kale slaw, wrong paring with the dry salmon. Also, DESPITE ADVERTISING A $19 lunch they refused to honr the price. I was embarrased!

Celebrated a friends birthday and it could not have been better. Started with fantastic Martinis made by Dan at the beautiful upstairs bar. Promptly escorted to our dinner table at the time of our reservation where our waiter greeted us with a thorough description of the evening specials followed by his suggestions. The new location is spectacular located at the ground level of one of Dallas' newest hi-rise building and in my opinion one of the most stylish architectural attractions around! Enjoy!!

Well appointed, great service and food. Our server was fantastic. Excellent wine selection at fair prices. We enjoyed Frank's Family Cab. Appetizers of crab cake were great, skip the pre shucked oysters. Steaks done perfectly; bone in rib eyes and strips. Sides very good; cheesy mashed potatoes, mushrooms and Brussels. Fantastic deserts.

After a visit to Clyde Warren Park, we ventured over to the restaurant for dessert. They have a very nice dessert menu, but only 2 items make my list. Their not-so-new butter cake with ice cream and caramel is a delight. And the long-standing Lemon Doberge cake is the best in the state!

We had a $150 gift card and after checking the menu in advance, knew it would not cover the entire meal for the 2 of us. We added about $80 to that. We only had soft drinks so it would probably be $250 or more for a couple. It is a beautiful place but the only reason I gave this a 4 star instead of 5 was the noise level. The music choice had too much of a beat to it and the conversations aroud us made it difficult to have a conversation. The service is nearly perfect. There was a few minute wait for a refill on my wife's diet coke and she actually asked another waiter for one. We have seen this before in high end restaurants. It you are not drinking alcohol, the servers usually don't give you the same attentiveness as those running up a bar bill. The crabcake as an appetizer was excellent. Not the best crabcake I have ever had but it consisted of mostly large lump crabmeat and was seasoned well. The lobster macaroni and cheese as a shared side was very good. The sides are large enough that we had what we wanted and brought about half of it home. The steaks were where they really shined. My wife had the bone in ribeye. It was cooked to perfection at medium rare and had a fantistic sear with perfect seasoning. I went withe the 45 day dry aged ribeye. It was the best steak I have ever had in my life - and I am 61 and have eaten a lot of steak. This was the first time I ever had an aged steak and it was fantastic. We were running late for our reservation because we were trapped in a line of cars in the parking garage after the concert. I called them and they said they would only guarantee our reservation for up to 15 minutes late but they still had a table for us when we showed up 25 minutes late. I really appreciated that.

Good morning, I am not sure if you are the right person I need to contact but I wanted to make sure I voiced my extreme concern with Del Frisco's location in Dallas/Uptown. If you are not the correct person my apologies; however if you are able to forward my concern/review I would appreciate it. I made reservations for a business meeting on Friday, March 26th @ 8:15 pm. Our 1st waiter Josiah acted as if he was too busy to assist us. So I asked him, "How many tables do you have? You seem extremely busy." He replied, "I have a lot of tables but just tell me what you want to order and we can talk about tables later. He was being rude when he said it b/c had he said it in a jokingly manner I would have received it as such. So I told him, "Why don't he find another waiter/waitress to assist our table since he is busy. Josiah said, "everyone is busy." I asked to speak with a manager and he said ok and walked away. (He didn't even tell us his name, our 2nd waiter told us his name). We waited for about 30 minutes for the manager. by this time it's after 9:30 pm we do even have a salad. So I randomly stopped a waitress and asked for a manager. She said ok and Adam will be here shortly. After about another 15 minutes passing another waiter Moses came to our table and asked if we had been helped because he saw that we had been sitting for a while. I said no we haven't been helped and asked was he our new waiter. He said he can be. I asked him if he was sent over by the manager and he said no. I asked him what was the other waiter's name and he is the one who told me the 1st waiter's name was Josiah. After Moses took our orders, Adam "the manger" finally arrived at the table and I explained to him everything that took place. He said I apologize, I will speak to Josiah but not right now which I said is understandable, and Moses will be taken care of me. I expressed to Adam that I have dined at elite dining and have never experienced this type of horrible service from an establishment that considers itself upscale! He said sorry and stated that Moses will take care of me. I was baffled! He didn't say well I will take 10% off your tab, I will comp dessert to the entire table. NOTHING! So Moses did the job he was hired to do. However; he did not ask us if we wanted any dessert, maybe b/c his workload was heavy too since we were not his only table but I thought asking the patrons for dessert was standard. But maybe I am wrong. Everyone paid their share of the tab and tipped. No one wanted to tip but I insisted that we tip the proper amount but I did leave a note on my tab. Oh. our waiter asked if we wanted anything boxed up and we said yes. He bought the containers for us to box or food and then my niece insisted that our food be boxed because that is the type of service we are used to receiving. They said ok and guess what. They bought the bags and placed them on the floor. Whatever happened to placing your bag on the table or hanging on your chair. The service was by far the worst that I have ever experienced. Looking at the reviews after our dining experience it appears this is a habitual habit even for Anniversaries and birthdays when Del Frisco's was once known as a go to place for special occasions. I would like to hear from someone and would like our meal to be comped because this was not ok. If I were thinking clearly instead of thinking professionally on Saturday I would have stated then that I do not want to pay for our meal b/c of the service. The lobster mac and cheese was cold, the lobster tail on one of the orders was cold and overcooked. They did take it back and brought more but it was the same thing. The sides were left on the table basically because we did not want to be more characterized by asking that it be taken off the ticket. The entire experience was so horrible. I am probably leaving some of the things off b/c it was just that much that happened where a fine dining experience was not exemplified. Thank you for your time and if I have reached out to you in error I apologize. Hopefully, If I have you are able to forward this to the proper person or group to get this rectified. I even told Adam that I will be writing reviews about our service and he said ok.

Admittedly, I did not go for the steaks! I went for cocktails and had appetizers for my meal. We tried the crab cake (good), calamari (good), brocollini (average) and the brussell sprouts which were horrible. They throw in so many onions it is hard to enjoy the veggie sprout.

Delicious steaks!! We were there to celebrate a friends birthday. My husband loved the maple bacon appetizer. We all had Cesaer salads and they were delicious ! I had the filet Oscar style which was Perfectly cooked!! I recommend the VIP martini!! Service was outstanding !

It's unfortunate but they need a new chef and or management. They can not get a steak cooked right for the life of them. Our waitress even said it's 10+ a night orders going back. And when your paying $45+ a steak you think they could get it right. The ambience is awesome which makes it that much more sad. On a Friday night in uptown the place was half full. The salad took 20 mins to eve. Come out after flagging down a manager. They got rid of some good sides from the previous menu as well. Regardless it's all about the steak. We personally saw 4 tables complain about the exact thing. Waaaay too many other good restaurants than you can go to in Dallas for less money and better food. Sorry dels, won't be back.

We took a friend and her husband and daughter out to eat at Del Frisco's to celebrate a milestone birthday! It was their first visit to Del Frisco's. Ryan was our server and he was outstanding! Ask for him if you go, you'll be glad you did. He was knowledgeable about the menu and make excellent recommendations on wine and food. In fact, he made the entire meal extra special. His knowledge of the hand-cut steaks as well as the seafood, allowed us to make some excellent choices for our entrees! We will always ask for Ryan when we dine at Del Frisco's Dallas.

No question that this is an expensive restaurant, however, this place is first class. The wine list is comprehensive, the steak was delicious and even the Caesar salad tasted great. They even have an excellent valet service with texting feature for when you are ready to leave. This place will not disappoint.

We went here with my family for 2 birthday celebrations. Every dish (salmon, sea bass, Filet migon) we had we loved. The sides were phenomenal (lobster mac & cheese, cream corn). All the way to butter cake with ice cream. It is fine dining with fine cost but worth it. We are going again next year! Our server was great & very helpful with his suggestions for first timers!

The food and service are excellent, as you’d expect. Noteworthy about this location downtown Dallas is LOCATION. Beautiful view of downtown from the two-floor all windows structure facing the city. Especially beautiful during the Holliday season. For a dish recommendation: Dell’s Salad.

Cocktails were a little heavy handed for my taste. Our oysters were properly cleaned, shucked and moist. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly with the best Oscar topping I’ve ever tasted. We ordered asparagus and Uptown Dels Potatoes for our sides. The potatoes were cold. Such a letdown. We tried the butter cake on the server’s recommendation, but it was a dry chewy mess. The table next to us tried it and ended up replacing theirs with cheesecake. So great steak, personable service, and crisp business friendly atmosphere, but unbalanced cocktails and cold food? There are better experiences within walking distance.

Came here after a few people said I should try it,the restaurant is beautiful however the food is over priced and poor quality. I decide to sit at the bar and opted for 4 things the calamari, bacon bits, lobster bisque and the sliders. Calamari was soggy. Bacon bits were dry and burnt. Sliders dry and little taste. Lobster bisque was lukewarm. And the prices are daylight robbery ! I wouldn’t eat here again or recommend

First I would not fault our server, she was attentive and polite. As for our experience, to start our first choice starter was no longer available which was disappointing (but not the end of the world). Probably the worst was that we waited almost an hour for starters to arrive, being told consistently that ‘it’ll just be a sec’!. Mains did arrive timely but we were already sitting there worried that they would not because of our starters experience. Food - was not great, it was ok but certainly missing the wow factor i expected for the price charged. Crowded - not much privacy or separation, again for the price we’re being charged I expected a little more. We sat at a booth by the window and when the guy from a central table pushed his chair back, to relax a little, it ended up only a few inches from the end of our table. Overall not the experience at I’d hoped for when taking the family out for a special, once a year, anniversary dinner. The service, experience, food we’re definitely lacking to expectations. This was a 7:45 reservation for 4 on a sat night, so I do understand it was probably the busiest they get but if your paying out expecting a special experience and don’t get it at all, we came away disappointed.

Great service and fantastic steaks. Del Frisco is upmarket and expensive but worth every penny. Had a fantastic night with great food and excellent service.

beautiful building great bar great wine and awesome someliers appetizer... bufalo shrimp is just the best awesome seafood and steaks great desert

I felt a “finessed” by my dining experience. When I say "finessed," I mean "cheated." For example, I ordered a ribeye steak, price $62.00. When I received the billing, I was “upcharged” to the 22 ounce bone-in prime ribeye, market price, $95.00. I might not have minded the additional $23.00 upcharge for something I did not order if not for the fact that the steak was more gristle and fat than prime ribeye. Another example was the martini I ordered. The $24.00 price might have made sense if not for the additional “upcharge” of $5.00 for a reason undisclosed and certainly unappreciated. And finally, the asparagus was virtually tasteless and soggy. I never really liked the taste of asparagus anyway, so I guess I should not complain, but at least it could have been tasteless and not soggy. Oh, wait, there’s one more thing: my wife had a wedge salad, seemingly with some type of dressing made by either Kraft or Marzetti (if you hailed from up North). And, like the asparagus, had to be wrung out before consuming.

The Del Frisco’s experience made for a perfect Christmas present. The semi-private dining room for eight allowed for sweet conversation with family. We usually shout no matter what so this was a pleasant departure. ( see my tongue-in-cheek) The food, the service, the ambience was exceptional. Like dining for kings. Dirty plates whisked away. Clean utensils laid. It was magical. Everyone sans moi enjoyed steaks. My preference was the salmon. Not one complaint! And an amazing sunset greeted as we were leaving. The majesty of it all. Hallelujah!

Went to Del Friscos Grille in Southlake town square. Ordered a 45 day dry aged New York strip medium rare for $74. The steak was not seasoned and was charred , overcooked and simply not good. I used to enjoy going there and it is so disappointing and did not make me want to return. I used to really like this place.

Came here with friends on a visit to Dallas. Was overwhelmed by the cool vibe of the entire restaurant. definitely a place to go to be seen (in a good way!) Loved that the sides are for sharing with the table, makes it feel like a dinner party at your house-minus the mess! Steak was delicious as a KC native i'm very particular about my steak and this one nailed it!

I made a reservation for 4 on 6/20 (one of my guests was an NFL player). We ordered the lamb chops, which were very salty. It tasted as if a pound of salt was dumped in the sauce on of the lamb chops. It was so bad I immediately took my blood pressure pills when I arrived home. Our bill was $440.00 which a $100 tip was still given to the waitress. It was our first time and definitely our last. I called and spoke with the manager on 6/21, he stated I would get a callback and never did. Everyone was very disappointed.

Our dining experience was nothing short of perfect; from service, to the ambiance, to the meal. Matthew was a smooth, professional server. My family frequents prime steakhouses and we consider this to be our best meal. Special praise- we were sat by the door to the patio seating. It was cold because servers were in and out of it. Another waiter read our body language and closed the door for us. It was very kind.

We used to like Del Frisco's for their Martinis which would make it to the table with that thin layer of ice. But we will not return after our last experience. We hosted a three time US Ambassador in Dallas and took him out for dinner. I ordered an Albarino and we were waiting and waiting and waiting for the wine. One of the "managers" (Anthony) showed finally up after 45 min (we had already eaten appetizers by then) and without an apology tells me that the Albarino is out and that I should order a more expensive bottle. No attempt to make us whole or apologize even after I point out how bad of a service this was. We ordered the more expensive bottle (which btw was worse than the other Albarino I had and liked before), we were poured each and then the waiter disappeared. After waiting for 30 min for someone to bother to refill our glasses, I finally did it myself. Let’s face it, the location is convenient to us, but the food is not great considering the price point and service was terrible. I first wrote a complaint in response to a survey but the manager’s (Lindsay) response was so generic that it added insult to injury. We won’t be back, I suspect….

Del Frisco's is close to the Residence Inn and the all the shops of the new down town area. This is their new location and it has all the attractions of the original location with the exception of the wine cellar dining room. The wine selection is over the top as well as the service. I gave them a challenge, when I ordered Tuna from a steakhouse, but they delivered. Their side are mass portions one side will go a long way. The foie gras was a little stronger than I prefer, but ok.

A great upscale steak restaurant. Impeccable service and the food was excellent. Expect to spend a fair bit per head once you add wine but for special occasions I can highly recommend it.

The restaurant could use a refresh overall. I sat at the bar, which was not very impressive. Staff & service were very good but restaurant is nowhere near as elegant or refined as NYC restaurant. Also, appeared to have somewhat limited liquor selection - No Plymouth gin. Very unremarkable.

We were here to celebrate a special birthday on Sat. night Feb. 10th. Our reservation was for 5:30 and we sat upstairs to the left of the bar by the window. If you want to enjoy your evening avoid the bar area, the employees were the loud ones. We are longtime customer's of the Ft. Worth location and everything there is spot on every single time, without fail. I will say that this location is just what you would expect from downtown Dallas, modern and elegant. It is so much bigger than Ft. Worth but bigger is not always better. There's really no complaints about the food, the food was good. My issue is with the service. I brought my entire family here to celebrate my birthday, they know how much I love Del Frisco's. Our older male waiter was slow in clearing the table between courses, one time we sat and looked at dirty dishes for a while before I got his attention. Things weren't moving like I'm accustom to in Ft. Worth and it was early in the evening. One thing I don't like is that yes the sides are family style but that doesn't mean everyone in the family wants to share everyone's sides as not everyone wants the same thing. Not to mention when your server serves it to you knowing it will be split between six people, you get a smidge. No I want the side my husband and I ordered for us, the adult kids want something we don't want. Would it be so hard for you to ask if we want to share them before you start serving everyone the sides. Just ask. Then my daughter and her husband were sharing a steak and their side. A younger female waitress (Oh how I wish I could have asked her name without making a scene) started to serve my daughter a side when she didn't even have a hot plate yet. My daughter told the girl she didn't have a plate yet and the girl pointed to the little bread plate and said "This is your plate." We were all shocked and I was so embarrassed. My daughter responded with "Can I please get a regular size plate for my meal?" Wow, I can't believe anyone at Del Frisco's would say that. It came across like she didn't care where she served it as long as she could move on. My daughter's plate came soon after. It was on it's way before we even asked and the girl should have known well enough to wait until it did. I was very unhappy and had I not been with my family I would have said something but I wasn't going to ruin a special occasion by making a fuss. The service over all was slow, just not moving like were use to. Lastly, they brought me a plate of special desserts for my birthday. I didn't care for any of them and considering it was my birthday, I would like to be given the choice of what I would like because my favorite is cheesecake. Once again, would it be too much trouble to just ask? I appreciate the thought but I would rather enjoy the food I choose over what you choose. This place is too big and too loud, it lacks the intimacy and service we are use to in Ft. Worth and we will continue going there.

We took our family here to celebrate our daughters birthday. Table was ready promptly at reservation time. Table was nicely lit with pleasant view. Servers were top notch- attentive without being cloying. All of our food was as described excellently prepared. It is as not inexpensive but it was well worth it and we will be back

We went for dinner today, waited for more than an hour for our dinner, we had to ask twice for it, we were leaving when a second waiter not our waiter brought our plates, we’ve already called for the manager and he showed up with a very bad attitude, two plates were as expected, but was under cooked We told the second waiter that nobody had told us anything about a problem or apologized to us for the delay and he started to make fun of it When we asked for our check again we had to wait more than ten minutes for it, and only us and anther table were present When we stood up and walked to the door our waiter came with the check, he said he was negotiating with the manager to take the drinks out, two beers and a cocktail Obviously we’re not returning ever to any of the restaurants of the chain

High end steakhouses are everywhere in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and Del Frisco's is one of the elders. The new location in Uptown is quite simply stunning. If you've ever been to the stand alone building on Spring Valley just east of the tollway you'll remember that there were NO WINDOWS anywhere in the building. The new location is located in one of the most stunning new buildings in Uptown, McKinney & Olive, and is completely open with floor to ceiling glass walls and with the vibrant activity outside you may just think you're in a happening big city... oh, wait, you ARE in a hip big city! The open decor gives the place an electric vibe and if you venture upstairs to the second level you'll be treated to a panoramic outside seating area with it's own small bar and fire pit. Absolutely beautiful. As I mentioned earlier there are a ton of fine steakhouses in DFW and within a mile or two of Del Frisco's you'll find Perry's, Morton's, Ruth's Chris, Nick and Sam's as well as offering by celebrity chef's Stephen Pyle (Stampede 66) and Dean Fearing (Fearing's) and while the last two are not strictly steakhouses they offer a good selection of steaks. What makes Del Frisco's different? Customer service and a stunning restaurant. Our instance to eat there was a payoff of a college football pool with several good friends. We had a cocktail at the main bar while awaiting the rest of our party. It's definitely a place to be seen and grab an adult beverage while watching all the activity inside and out. We had a table for 5 in the center of the main dining room downstairs with a great view of everything going on in the restaurant. Starters included oysters on the half shell, Shanghai style calamari and steak tartare. All were delicious and be sure to eat the calamari before it cools down too much. That shouldn't be an issue as it is so tasty! The tartare was interesting, not ground raw beef as I'm accustom too, but a small dice of prime strip steak in a tangy mustard base sauce. Interesting and very flavorful. Entree's were different varieties of steaks all around with a selections of sides, and a couple bottles of cab. One of the sides really stood out to me. The creamed spinach was outstanding. Not heavy, and the little crunch of bacon really made the dish. Steaks were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. As I mentioned customer service is what sets Del Frisco's apart and we had Gina, the General Manager, stop by the table a couple of times to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Dinner was capped off by a complimentary round of "adult" milkshakes, an insane combo of ice cream, liquor and Kahlua. Great steaks are a dime a dozen in Big D, make Del Frisco's Double Eagle in Uptown the place to get yours for the customer service and the amazing ambiance of the new space.

I've giving this restaurant the opportunity to improve for years but it continues to be bad. Location and atmosphere are great, beyond that nothing is good. Service is weak at best and food is comparable to chilis or Applebee's. Until they get it figured out don't waste your money.

This was my first time at Del Frisco's. This was on one of my suppliers, so I was able to explore the menu a bit. Thank God for that. We started out with cocktails. I chose the Pomegranate Martini. This thing was fabulous. I had four of them in total they were so good. First of all, you have to try the Bacon slab appetizer. This is a slab of bacon, about 2 inches thick that is BBQed. It's about a foot long. It's cut into pieces and served, and MAN is it good! So tender! We also ordered a shrimp cocktail. Shrimp were huge, but other than that, it was about standard good. For a main. Course, I had the 45 day aged Wagyu Ribeye. It was very tender, but was undercooked when it arrived. This was unexpected at a place like this, but this was quickly remedied. It's not the Texas Roadhouse where you can grow a beard wanting for a re-cook. It was back at the table in maybe 2 minutes. Forgiven. We also had sides of the mushrooms (very good), and the lobster mac and cheese. Folks, you HAVE to try that lobster mac. WOW. The service was some of the best I've seen. VERY attentive service, with visits from management as well. All this excellence doesn't come cheap. The Wagyu was a 12 oz steak and was $70.00. Most of the stead were in the 45-79 dollar range. There is one that is (gulp) $145.00. The cocktails were $16.00 per. Dinner for four ran around $600.00 with tip. This place is PERFECT for conducting business or trying to impress.

Everything we had was super delicious and the service was over the top! Highly recommend this place.

My son and I decided we needed to see what Del Frisco's is all about. We are glad we did. Let's go down the experience in order. First, two parking options are available. You can let the valet do it or there is an underground self-park and the restaurant validates. The hostess which greeted us was very pleasant and efficient, and our table was ready. Our server was friendly and her suggestions on target. The cocktails she suggested were great and I highly recommend the Blood Orange Manhattan. The wine list is extensive and expensive, but there are a few wines in the lower price range ($45 to $65/bottle) that are very good. The bacon appetizer our server recommended was outstanding with a lot of black pepper and a bourbon/molasses sauce. My son's 12 ounces filet was cooked to perfection, a good sear on the outside which didn't penetrate to deep and the inside a nice red/rare. I had a 16 ounce, 45 day dry aged ribeye. It was a very good steak, once again cooked perfect red/rare. How you feel about these dry aged steaks will depend on your palate. For me 45 days is probably too much and I'd prefer the flavor of maybe a 21 day aged steak. The restaurant itself was lively, but not overly so and we could actually have a conversation. For me Del Frisco's is definitely a special occasion place, but it was an occasion well worth experiencing. Our bill, with tip, was right around $300 for two. That included cocktails, wine, appetizer, two steaks with a side and two espressos to finish. Service was probably the best I've ever experienced.

Enjoyed dinner here at a table by the window in the bar area. Started with a Blood Orange Redemption Manhattan with a Luxardo cherry. Very tasty. A delicious loaf of warm bread with a sesame seed crust was provided, along with butter. I had to stop halfway through the loaf or I would not have had room for the dinner. The crispy whole leaf Caesar salad was delicious. The main course was a filet medallions duo and chateau mashed potatoes. One medallion was in a bernaise sause, the other in a bordelaise. Both were delicious but I found the bordelaise to be the best. The medallions were, as ordered, medium rare, and delicious. The chateau mashed potatoes were very tasty. Dessert was a Belgian chocolate mousse topped with too much salted caramel chocolate fudge. I had to dig my way past the fudge to enjoy the mousse and would have preferred it without the fudge topping. The service was excellent, and the ambiance lively, yet relaxing.

We were here for our anniversary and brought our daughter and her boyfriend. It was a classy atmosphere with over the top care in pampered service, as well as food preparation and presentation. We felt the love, and all the the food courses were yummy; we left stuffed!

We had a large party with a fixed price menu to keep cost down. service and food were outstanding. Even with lots of wine and cocktails we kept the cost to within our pharmaceutical budget ($150 per head). The head Som recommended his budget wine hand selected to be inexpensive but excellent. The staff knocked themselves out to bring us in at a cost where we would not get into trouble. Bravo Del Frisco

I've been to this location twice now, once for a company event that took place upstairs, and once for a business lunch. My experience both times was great. I've heard others talk about poor service but that has not been my experience. I'd been to the old location up in Addison a number of times and found it a bit claustrophobic. But this location has an open, inviting feel the other site lacked. Expansive windows bring the outside in and gives a much needed sense of energy that so many Dallas street-side places lack. Food is reliably good. Like any of the high-end steak places in Dallas, you need to prepare your wallet or your credit card before dropping by. But this localtion of the famed Dallas brand is worth checking out. Alternative steak-stops nearby include Perrys (a bit older-school feel to it) and Ruth's Chris which is just around the corner.

Came for a late dinner after a ballgame. Comfortable restaurant. Nice service. Ordered light and enjoyed it. The lemon cake for desert was huge and a bit boring. The octopus and simple salmon were wonderful.

Had a TERRIBLE experience at Del Frisco’s in Fort Worth last year and vowed to never return. My business group booked a table for 9 at the Dallas location so I decided to try them again. Glad I did; service was excellent and everything was cooked to perfection! The steak and shrimp special I had was outstanding! Will definitely be back.

Between the 3 of us We shared a number of appetizers and mains. The best dish by far was the carpaccio, which was excellent. The steaks were cooked to perfection. It’s expensive but worth it for a special occasion.

They accommodated a large group and provided an excellent service. Appetizers such as the calamari and beef carpaccio were really good. Our server provided great wine recommendations within the desired price point. I really enjoyed the 45 day dry aged strip steak, it was bursting with flavor. All the sides were tasty and plentiful. Great place for a special celebration!

EXCELLENT!! We were flying through Dallas so had to get it to go...my Filet was perfection (able to cut with a plastic knife!), added a JUMBO scallops, heirloom carrots and Cesar salad - finished with berries & cream for dessert....SUPERB!! Perhaps it tasted better that the company was paying$$$$🤣😂

The atmosphere is very hip and upcoming with young executives. The food was good but for the price it should have been fabulous. The service was slow but tenative, the presentation of the food was nice! Bring a big wallet or business account very pricey! It you need to impress your client or someone special this is the spot. For those who indulge in liquor and wine you will be very pleased with all the choices! If you try the 200 plus shot let us know on trip advisor if it was worth every dollar!!

I have to say this place is worth the price. I have never eaten here before but I can tell you I will be back. The wait staff was great, you didn't wait for anything. The food was better than expected. Everyone at our table had steak and they were all cooked perfectly. I personally had the 45 day dry aged prime ribeye and I will say it was probably the best steak I have ever had at a restaurant. There was nothing bad that we tried from appetizers to the dessert we were very happy with everything that came out. I will be eating this steak again and would recommend this place to anybody. If you're in the area and this place is in your budget, give it a try you won't be disappointed.

I have to say you should plan on $125 per person if you are going to enjoy this experience. The 16oz bone-in filet is unreal. ($69) Whether you seat upstairs at the bar, outside (second level), or in the main dining area, the service is top notch!!

Three in our party-2 ordered 22 oz. bone-in prime rib steak; 1 ordered the 3 medallion filets; shrimp appetizer & onion rings for all to share. Food was prepared to perfection. Service was sub-par. Our waiter, Carlton, was right on with my cocktail & our appetizer. Then he became infatuated with the 2 guys at the table to our left. They were all enjoying laughs over stories & jokes at the expense of us not receiving the service we should have received. Other staff served our steaks & rings (not unusual for a high end steakhouse) as Carlton kept laughing with the other table. He did fly by once (on his way to get a bottle of wine for that other table) & asked how we were doing. I asked to see the menu if he wasn't too busy with the other table. He obliged. When we were finished with our meal he broke away & stopped to see if we wanted dessert. We asked for take home boxes & he said he'd get someone to "box it up" for us. I said we'd "box" our own. I had concerns. Boxes were brought & Carlton once again asked about dessert. Two said no thanks-I said if he wasn't too busy I'd take coffee. Carlton then asked if there was anything wrong. We said "no" but I wanted to give him a tutorial on how to provide quality service to all of his customers. When our final bill was presented Carlton said something about "that other table kept wanting to talk to him" & then he said "I took care of the coffee". Did he do that because he sensed he had screwed up by spending more time chatting it up with them than providing good service to us? Was he trying to chastise me for my comments. I think he thought that the more the laughs & the wine flowed-the bigger the tip & he looked at us & thought we were hayseeds who wouldn't be tipping big & made the decision about where to put his attention. I'm quite certain that our son knows how to tip properly & that Carlton was well compensated. Outside of Carlton's lacking service the meal was great.

This place had potential to be great. Valet parking and good ambiance were two positives to start. But right after we were seated, water continued to drip on us and our window side table from the A/C condensation. So, we were moved to another table. Three of us started with cocktails which were delightful. However, due to the table move, we ran into an issue receiving bread at our table (after asking twice to receive some). When our entrees came one steak was prepared correctly and one was undercooked and had to be sent back. We also had two lobster tails which were over cooked and did not come with drawn butter. The sides and dessert were good. Although our server was attentive, the dinner flow just wasn’t there for us. They charge a high price for entrees and all elements should be on point - especially how dishes are prepared. So many great steakhouses in Dallas, unlikely we will return.

Had dinner at the Del Frisco‘s on Olive in Dallas last night. This is our third trip to Del Frisco‘s, the other two being in Denver and Las Vegas. For the first time, we were less than satisfied. My wife’s Akaushi Wagyu ribeye was spectacularly good. Cooked to perfection in exactly the way she ordered it. Side dishes were also excellent. The tuna tartare, spinach, brussels sprouts, and lobster mac & cheese were all excellent. The chocolate mousse was also delicious. Unfortunately, I ordered the dry aged ribeye “rare plus”. It was still cool in the center. I had specifically asked that it not be cool in the center. I would have made a comment to our waiter, but he was almost never at our table. When he was at the table, he seemed genuinely disinterested in helping us. This was the greatest shock, as we have never had that sort of experience at Del Frisco‘s. There is usually a team of people waiting on each table. Not so with this location. I noticed that no other table had a team of waiters either. It was busy and the seating set up was tightly packed. We did not get seated until approximately 15 minutes after our reserved time. Normally this would not of been much of an annoyance, except we had a four-year-old child with us. Our waiter failed to bring us refills on our drinks. Ever. Literally he took our glasses and never came back with them. I finally asked at the end of the meal for a refill on my Arnold Palmer. He said “sure” as if he was annoyed that I had asked. My wife never got a refill on her drink. There was another waiter that brought us our dessert at the end of the evening. He seemed like an older gay man, and he was awesome. So I know there are good servers there, and we wished we would have gotten him. Unfortunately, we did not and thus cannot leave a top quality review for this location.

I have never had a bad piece of meat here, but this dinner experience I tried one of the best servings is Sea Bass I had ever tasted.the rest of our party enjoyed Steak, mostly Filet, but also the special Prime Rib. Our sommelier helped us choose just the right wine and one our party enjoyed a local craft beer. Great experience where we celebrated family.

My husband and I came to Del Frisco's for a date night before he was to leave for a year long work assignment - and the staff did not disappoint! The recommendations on the food and the wine were both so spot on, and we enjoyed our meals very much. My husband ordered a 45 day dry aged steak and it was one of the best steaks either of us have ever had! Kudos to the upstairs bar for being able to perfectly recommend a Malbec for me, and a cocktail for my husband, and for our servers outstanding knowledge of the menu!

When you start out at the bar with their signature cocktail called "VIP", it is remembered! Pineapple infused Svedka Clementine vodka served martini style and boy does it go down easy!! Group of five and we all ordered one - outstanding! As a non - meat eater, there is more than plenty to satisfy. My kryptonite: Stone Crabs. They are in season. They are not cheap by any means...$17 each for large ones and i had three as my entree. completely filled me up. They crack them for you, which always helps because those are VERY hard shells. Have shed blood before! What else did our group enjoy? Octopus $19.50 Brussel Sprouts Wild 'shrooms Yummy bottle of Estancia Meritage. Service was always attentive; we never lacked for anything. Was out of carb control...their bread is delicious. With so many steakhouses in Dallas, this one stands high on our list.
Thanksgiving Dinner
We arrived at 6 pm for our reservation and only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated. However, it was clear from the start, that the restaurant did not have enough waiters and other wait staff. We all ordered the standard Thanksgiving menu item of Turkey so there was no complexity in the order. The pace of the meal was protracted. I had to keep asking for a drink refill which was annoying for such a "first class" restaurant. The meal was so protracted that we asked for several of the desserts, that came with the meal, to be converted to take-out as we were basically tired of sitting in the booth waiting, waiting, waiting. Three of the four of us enjoyed the meal and accepted the protracted delays as inevitable. For $375 for four people I was unimpressed. I believe they could do better.
