Best Steakhouse in Las Vegas

By Sidney K |

I've been going to Del Frisco's for several years. In my opinion it is the best steakhouse in Las Vegas. The restaurant is in a quiet location east of Las Vegas Blvd off of Flamingo Road. The service is impeccable the atmosphere is top notch and the steaks are incredible. To me it's the perfect getaway for a nice classy dinner for special occasions. This Saturday I'm taking the boys I've been coaching since 6th grade who are now off to college at the end of this summer.

Steaks at their best

Arguably our best dinner in Vegas. A huge selection of ridiculously good steaks and wines, delicious sides, perfect service. Get ready to spend some serious money, but every bite is worth it. A fantastic place for special occasions!

Birthday Dinner

By Frank the Tank |

Hands-down, the best meal I have ever had! My first trip to Las Vegas to celebrate my 50th birthday with 7 other family members traveling from WV. I chose 3 restaurants to have my birthday dinner on the 14th with Del Frisco's being my 2nd choice. Luckily, my 1st choice Joe's Seafood and Prime Rib was full, because Del Frisco's blew any other restaurants out of the water. Our waiter, Alex was the best and made wonderful recommendations. The bone-in rib-eye was cooked perfectly, all then sides, appetizer and deserts were wonderful as well. All 9 of us were in agreement that this was overall the best restaurant experience ever! Well worth the money!

The BEST Steakhouse in Las Vegas!!

By Socalsix |

Wow! What a fantastic experience dining at Del Frisco's Las Vegas! We've dined at many of the DF restaurants however, I think Las Vegas takes the (butter) cake. The service is as good as it gets with Melody and her team as knowledgeable, professional and attentive as any in the industry. The food was delicious and memorable from the appetizers to dessert (don't miss the Butter Cake). That said, the steaks were the star of the show. As is with all of the Double Eagle's, the steaks are absolutely fantastic! Located on Paradise and just off the Strip, the restaurant has an old world vibe and feel. Del Frisco's just took over the title for us as the best steakhouse/restaurant in Las Vegas. We will be back very soon.

Outstanding

Everything about this meal was outstanding. The heirloom tomato salad was delicious and my steak was prepared perfectly.

Great steak...

By Bmood |

Really expensive but really great steak! The VIP drink is awesome as well! They pour Mandarin Vodka over a pineapple and then squeeze the juice out to make the drink 🍾 so good! Service was really great as well.

Amazing!

By Meg T |

This was by far one of the best dining experiences in Vegas!!! We sat at the bar and I had the VIP signature cocktail which hands down was the best drink I have ever had! We also had the cheesesteak egg rolls that were to die for. Both of our entries and sides were excellent! The creamed corn was out of this world! All around great experience do not miss this on your next trip!

Looking forward to eating at this restaurant, because it was one of our favorites in Dallas. Very disappointing, the shrimp appetizer over cooked badly and entrees average at best. Dining area, reminded me of eating in a banquet room. There are to many wonderful restaurants in Vegas to try this one.

Excellent meal

We went to have steak. Their steak is fantastic. The wine list is superb and the sommelier came to our table personally and helped us choose a great wine. Service was unmatched at other restaurants. Great date place!

excellent

excellent steakhouse-great service-great atmosphere-steaks were cooked exactly as ordered-had buttercake for dessert and was as good as the steak! I have eaten at many top end steakhouses in vegas and this may be the best

Friends LV/BD dinner

By Sue F |

Every year we have a friends trip to Las Vegas and ALWAYS eat at Del Friscos for their delicious food (not only steaks) and excellent service. Tonight our server named Bailey was just so awesome I had to write and hope her supervisors see this. She went out of her way to make sure our dining experience was superb and we were also celebrating my birthday and the dessert was delicious. We also had the opportunity to briefly chat with her about LV and her smile and laughter made our evening so special. She brought us some of your famous jelly beans and got our taxi. 5 stars for Bailey!

So disappointed

By JJJ |

No words. Honestly- unless you’re a tourist from the middle of nowhere- do not eat here. In NYC- you actually have choices- so lake another one.

Another year, another trade show

By MrWarrenM |

Del Frisco's is by far the best Steak House I've been to in Las Vegas. The Meat is great and the service is even better. Portions are pretty large so be ready for takeaway bags. They have an extensive wine selection of 1800 varieties, a cigar room, and even a live band. I think it's a great place to go off the strip to enjoy a nice meal. Not only did they treat us right, but their food was also top notch as well. I ordered the 32oz Wagyu Tomahawk Ribeye. By far the best Steak I've ever had. I also ordered it with Bone Marrow Butter on the side which complimented and enhanced the flavors even further. The sides we ordered, Lobster Mac n Cheese and Potatoes Au Gratin were excellent as well. It is not cheap but worth every penny.

Great service, a bit pricey

By DT808 |

Food was delicious. Server was great. Only disappointment was that the side dishes came out extremely late after the steaks were served. They apologized. Food was pricey, which might you expect. 2 of us came out to $250. if you like prime rib, i would recommend Lawry's close by as well.

Nice but not exceptional

By WTCarter1656 |

We had a group of 10, private dinning room and two dedicated servers. Atmosphere was nice, and the service was exceptional. I can honestly say that the steak and sides were good, but not exceptional. My filet was not “fork” tender as you would normally expect from a 40-50 dollar steak and, one in our party sent here filet back because of this. Nice dining experience just not exceptional from my point of view...

Friday night local’s date night!

Had a truly fantastic experience ... even though the restaurant is under renovations the service and staff were truly amazing. Special appreciation goes to Brittney who was our server. She was perfect!

High-end, High Quality and High Prices!

By Dennis C |

Claimed to be the "best steak house in Las Vegas" by many, including the taxi driver that picked us up "after" dinner. My wife and I celebrated an early 49th wedding anniversary on a Sunday night at DF and while we enjoyed our dining experience, we have had better for less money, and DF is definitely a "special occasion" restaurant for us based on the prices. From the moment we arrived the service was welcoming, friendly and excellent. We were led to our specially decorated “anniversary” table in the main dining room which was nearly empty. Apparently, we hit a particularly quiet Sunday night between conventions, but it allowed us to enjoy a "quiet" dinner. My wife chose the Sunday prix fixe special; Caesar salad, filet mignon with a crab cake, and a side dish of asparagus. The Caesar salad was not prepared table-side and was served as whole leaves rather that the traditional pieces which we both prefer, but the dressing was tasty. The 8 oz. filet was very tender, but needed more flavor while the crab cake was very flavorful and very rich, and the asparagus fresh but too crunchy and underdone for our taste. I skipped a starter to focus on a dry-aged ribeye with a side of creamed corn. This was my first experience with a “true” dry-aged quality steak, and if that is what you are after, this is the place to try it! I found the flavor to truly stand out from the wet aged variety, and the meat texture was also denser, not tough just more dense from the loss of moisture during the aging process. Personally, I would go with the wet-aged in the future, but no complaints and I’m glad I tried it! The cream corn was excellent and we both enjoyed it, and both side-dishes are definitely shareable. We each enjoyed a glass of Decoy Merlot which was a perfect accompaniment to our steaks. We were full, but we were presented with a complementary dessert for our anniversary; chocolate lava cake and a rich butter cake, both with small scoops of ice cream. We ate a bit of the delicious cakes and all the ice cream then had the remaining cakes packed to go. The meal was definitely enjoyable and we left fully satisfied. I recommend this restaurant be on you short-list of steakhouses, and judge for yourself if the high prices are worth it to you!

Best restaurant experience EVER

By Susan D |

I researched about 20 steakhouses in Las Vegas and consulted concierges in major hotels to try to decide on the best restaurant to take my husband on his birthday. I considered price, menu selection, customer reviews, etc. My first choice was Del Frisco’s (Las Vegas). This choice was confirmed by everyone in Las Vegas that I consulted. This place was incredible. The entire staff interacted with us at some point. We had a server, but several others came by our table. The food was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The ambiance was amazing and comfortable, too. I cannot possibly verbalize this entire experience. This was clearly our best restaurant experience of our lives!

Fantastic Anniversary Dinner

By Aldridg4 |

We went Del Frisco’s for our anniversary dinner and everything was flawless. They set up our table with rose petals and in a quieter area. Our server was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. My old fashion was one of the best I have had. The charred octopus was absolute perfection. Both of our filets were prepared perfectly and simply melted when you ate them. The creamed spinach was shockingly delicious. They then brought out some butter cake and crunch bar that were outstanding and delicious, it was a very generous and appreciated.Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly, efficient and welcoming. We will absolutely be back. Thank you for a fantastic night.

Very Good

By KristenK1969 |

First time here and the place was packed. You will not be able to get in without a reservation, but if you don't mind eating at the bar they will serve you. Thursday night was wine night. It's a wine tasting menu. The bartenders are extremely generous with their pours. The crab cakes are amazing and so is the Tar Tar. I had the lobster, my man the sea bass and a striped bass and the other was a bone in porterhouse. The lobster tail presentation is good, my only complaint is that it is so big it was a little tough. Otherwise all good food.

Love this place, it’s newly remodeled

By MaryJaneND |

The restaurant looks great with the new remodel. It is brighter and more elegant. We have been here before and always enjoy it. We were seated in a lovely booth near the bar. We ordered drinks and enjoyed the complimentary bread. Then I had the shrimp cocktail which is huge and delicious. My husband had the wedge salad. I had the salmon which was too large to finish, and my husband had the filet, perfectly cooked. We shared au gratin potatoes. So decadent. We took home a slice of the lemon cake, which we realized was truly enormous when we shared it later. Don’t miss out on the cake. Awesome.

Used to be my favorite

By CrocoLix |

Too bad, but since 2005 this was my favorite place for steaks in Vegas, but with my recent visit no longer. We asked for a table in the main dining room and got it, but there was a terrible smell in this restaurant (maybe from the new furniture?) That really made this dinner an average experience. Jumbo shrimps were good but why do they put the sauce on them already? Please let the guest decide how to use sauce and radish themselves, I prefer to eat shrimps with only a bit of sauce. Rib eye was very good and dry aged, sides were good as well, wine list shines with great offerings and are priced as you would expect. The staff was friendly and attentive. The verdict: they really need to do something about the smell, otherwise I won't return. Please make this happen as it would be a great place.

Great food

By stigH9009ET |

Good food and wine, slightly sloppy disjointed service but a good overall experience. Slightly overpriced but ok

Private Room for 20

By ScottD58 |

I was hosting a private event for 20 during a convention and wanted to get the group to a steakhouse off the strip. Del Frisco’s fit the bill and delivered. The group menu offered a large enough to cover most palates and flexible enough to accommodate the lone vegetarian. The one gotcha is the salmon is farm raised, a non-starter for a group from Seattle. Service was excellent, making sure details were right, topping off everyone’s wine all the time keeping the conversation rolling. Dinning for a longtime we just about closed the place down after dessert, where the cheesecake was a big hit.

Outstanding Service - Great Food

By Olivian2 |

We arrived at approximately 9:30 and the Restaurant was still busy, but we were seated immediately. Started with three appetizers- Frois Groi which was simply amazing, followed by a very nice Calamari and then a Crab Cake that actually had Crab. The entrees were a Ribeye and a Filet. Both were cooked perfectly. An outstanding Potato dish with Truffles was also ordered and absolutely melted in your mouth. The night finished with an extremely rich Chocolate Mousse which was layered and decadent. The service was phenomenal from start to finish and the Manager David was knowledgeable and very friendly. The meal and service were everything we could have hoped for tonight and I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed, however be prepared to spend some money.

Best meal of our whole trip! Highly recommended

By AJP444222 |

We were visiting from England and this restaurant had been recommended to us back home. It was excellent. All of the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly throughout the evening. The surroundings are lovely, lots of dark wood and beautiful chandeliers. We were seated in a large booth. The food was excellent - we shared a Caesar salad to start - there was plenty and it was served on two plates to us. We then shared the 16oz prime rib between us which was cooked to perfection and sliced on a central plate between us. We had ordered two sides to share also - the lyonnaise potatoes with cheese and bacon which were delicious and onion rings. The onion rings were absolutely huge, and between us we only managed to eat three of the eight served to us. The waiter told us they call them bracelets! All of the food was piping hot and served on hot plates and dishes.. We didn’t order a dessert as we couldn’t manage to eat any more, but were really surprised to be brought two desserts served beautifully with a lit candle as we had mentioned we were celebrating my husbands birthday - a lovely touch. They subsequently boxed these for us to bring home. All in all; by far the best meal we have had and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Go if you get chance, you will be pleased that you did!

Always Great

Every year we make a trip to Las Vegas. An absolute must for us is a dinner at Del Friscos. Steaks are cooked to perfection and the vegetables are always fresh and seasoned perfectly. Can’t go wrong.

Bummed

By 66dude |

I have eaten at this restaurant many times, until now it was always a five star. This time it was subpar, why I really don’t know. The service was fine, some of the food was good, but the main course was not up to my standards. When you pay 64 bucks for a 45 day aged ribeye, you expect the best. The first one I received was not cooked well, I ordered medium rare, this gut came out rare. I sent it back, they gave me a new one but I couldn’t cut it, full of gristle in the middle. I reluctantly kept this one but could only eat about half of it. It just didn’t taste right. To their credit they gave me half off the steak. I’m done with Del Frisco, there are better in Las Vegas.

Special Occasion and Deal

By readam |

Celebrating anniversary, they had a table set up with rose petals and place card. We went on a Sunday when they offered their Prime Pair which included Salad, an Entree and a Side. They certainly do not skimp on their portions. We were also presented with a dessert plate for our special occasion.Very enjoyable surprise and experience

Great food

By Frankie G |

Had an amazing time at Del Frescos. Temperature on the steak was perfect as well as the amazing service. No matter which Del Frescos that I have tried they are always exceeding my expectations. Quality is top notch as well as an amazing atmosphere. My filet was perfect couldn’t ask for anything better. Simply the best

Terrible hors d'oeuvres for the wine-pairing event

By wwtravel2015 |

Came here last night for their special wine-pairing event called Rose Soiree; we have joined them before for this type of event and have always appreciated their fine wine selection when paired with great food. Last night was not the case. We must say that the 5 different Rose wine presented by Anthony (wine director) were wonderful (we are normally Cab drinkers, but we wanted to have a different experience); the service was also excellent and attentive. The food, however, was where it fell short, very short. Although Del Frisco did advertise the event as wine paired with hors d'oeuvres, we were puzzled by the tiny serving of each. Except for the first course we each got two raw oysters; after that, the remaining four things were presented in an embarrassingly tiny, bite-size (not even a half mouth full) plastic dish. They all had great description to each, but the flavor was just mediocre (bacon wrapped with shrimp was way overcooked, sliced filet we couldn't even taste the meat because it was so tiny, the seared scallops had no taste). We are not big eaters, but we were so hungry still we had to ask for bread to fill up our stomach and soak up the wine. It was not worth the $75 pp charge. Think we will stick with the restaurant menu from now on; their steaks and their regular appetizer menu render much more delicious food with better quality.

Lovely Steak

By Sarah S |

The wine list was very long, we stuck with a Malbec with out steak and was lovely. The filet steak was cooked exactly how I liked and was gorgeous! I had the beans and mashed potato as a side. Definitely recommend the mashed potatoes, enough to share. We also had the lemon cake for dessert - worth it if you love lemon desserts. Again definitely enough to share.

The Patterson’s Wedding Anniversary

By cbpatterson711 |

My husband & I enjoyed our 19th Anniversary dinner here ...on Saturday 9/21/18. Our experience was nothing short of wonderful. The customer service received by the hostess, our waitress and the food servers was excellent. They played a major role in making our special night ...even more special. I would highly recommend this place ...

Good service

We went there for drinks and appetizers and liked it a lot. A good spot for business dinners or drinks.

Absolutely Amazing!!!

By Mike C |

Fantastic restaurant. The steak could be the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Even better the price of 3 course set meal was very good for the high quality. A great wine list too. I give the highest recommendation possible. Absolutely amazing and can’t wait to go again!!!

Dinner

By che865 |

After nice Labor Day in Vegas decided to try a steak house. I had been to Del Frisco’s before in Houston. Thought about some other options. The food we were served was good. The prixe fix menu for $59 was a good choice. As some other reviews mentioned my steak was undercooked but this was corrected. The lobster was excellent. The crab cake was even good. What this location lacks is good service. I was really disappointed. Things like a warm smile and genuine follow up are just not present. The servers were just average compared to the polished service at Joe’s Snow Crab at Caesars on the strip and would not require a LYFT ride. Joes which is higher rated and deservedly so. The restaurant was freezing cold. Bring a jacket. Several reviews state the place had just been renovated. I find that hard to believe. It was very dark inside and no views. The outside is not really appealing like Houston NYC with walls of glass. I would say a renovation was not like anything special when compared to SCOTCH 80 at The Palms. So even with good food I will not being go back to this location. Vegas has better choices.

Good dinnner

By Simon G |

I had dinner at Del Frisco’s for the first time. I have eaten some of the other highly rated steakhouses in Las Vegas and so I was wondering how this one would compare to them. I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied with my experience. Wait staff was knowledgeable and wine list extensive. My colleagues all agreed it was a great meal. We had the NY Strip, Ribeye and Filet Minion. Sides are for sharing and the dining room was sophisticated and good ambience. For a Las Vegas steakhouse that replicates a original it was good value and a nice night out.

Excellent steaks, good service

By Going_Places_7 |

It's off the beaten tourist trap, supposedly were the locals eat and I can see why. Steaks were great, service good, atmosphere okay. For a high end steakhouse it met expectations but did not exceed them.

Birthday Celebration

By LoveTravel688386 |

On April 23, 2019, I took a party of 4 to Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. We arrived 15 minutes early for our 6:00 reservation and we were seated within 5 minutes. Each of us ordered the Filet and each was cooked to perfection, very tender and juicy. Each server was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. This is an expensive restaurant but worth it. If you want a quality meal this place is 5 star and I believe the best steakhouse in Las Vegas.

Don't eat here!

By dennis1001 |

I wanted to take the time and review our experience. I mirror what another review said that the waiter was badgering us to order more than we wanted and seemed unhappy when we ordered water. We only drink water. My steak was so bad I wondered if it was spoiled or rancid. I was concerned I would get food poisoning after eating it but luckily I did not. I could hardly cut the meat with my knife. The staff was very friendly but the steaks were tough and bad. Wish we went somewhere else! Sadly McDonald''s would have been a better experience.

Surprisingly good seafood as well as the steak

By Jacqui W |

We booked last minute based on reviews and it did not disappoint. The calamari entree was a great starter followed by a filet mignonette and the crab cakes. The steak was very good, and I really loved the crab cakes along with a Mac and lobster side. Altogether really great service, a lovely setting and the food was lovely. The wine list was extensive, pages and pages so there would definitely e something for everybody, but I enjoyed a double eagle margarita yum!

Solid steaks but an early bedtime

By Kevin C |

Very good steaks, but be careful -- unlike most places in Vegas, they close the kitchen at 10:30 on weekdays, so if you're looking for a late dinner, this may not be your best option

Excellent food & service, however pricy

By Clemens L |

There are many steakhouses in LV and it took us a while to find “our“ spot. We intentionally looked for an “off Strip“ spot with the expectation to become better value for money. Retrospective we believe that the food was indeed very good and the service excellent, we did not like the ambience. The restaurant is very dark and has lots of patina. There were few guests and many servers which was confusing since they introduced each other in a row leaving the impression that they are “over staffed”. If you look for a place to watch people or to have a nice view, you should look for a different place. If you have just eyes for you vis-à-vis and food+service are key, go for this place

Amazing

By Mudsharks |

Everything about the dining experience at Del Frisco's is superb. The service is impeccable and the food is outstanding. This is my favorite place to go for dinner.

Very nice atmosphere and friendly employees

By Thomas G |

Actually we have dined there several time before our last visit . I and my wife have been to several corporate dinners , and we enjoyed it so much we would dine there 3 to 4 times a year the food is great and priced very reasonable , next time your in las vegas give it a try !!!!

Really Fell Off!

By Hacker630 |

I was trying to organize a bachelor party for my friend so I started calling around. I spoke with a lady named Nicole Genet here who indicated that there would be a $1,200 minimum for food and drinks so we decided to look elsewhere. At the very last minute, we just showed up to this restaurant and we were able to get a table for all of us for dinner, with no minimum. To our surprise, the restaurant was dead! After tasting the food, we quickly realized that Del Frisco's is not what it used to be. Our steaks were very tough and chewy. Tasted almost old. It was a very bad experience. Our service was amazing tho!

Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse 3925 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89169-4607

By C J |

No value because it is way overpriced for what you get. The waitress was trying to be funny but she was NOT. It took her a long time to get our food and one of the entrees was cold. And then she got our dessert order wrong. STAY AWAY.

Superb!

By sobaytravelguy |

Friends and I enjoyed a delicious dinner here. The others all had steaks and were very positive in their comments. I had a sea bass dish that was superb. I also enjoyed the Ceasar salad. We shared some side dishes; all were excellent. Bring your appetite! Service was excellent.

5 star ++++++

By SusanS5324 |

There are not enough words to describe this restaurant near the convention center !! Service was excellent !! If we drank one sip of water or tea the staff was there to refill. Had the famous crab cakes , could not find any filler ! The filet medallions were so tender and loved that they came with potatoes and green beans !! Definitely would go here again !!

Delicious Food, Business Atmosphere

By Crystal R |

We attended a business dinner here during the week. There appeared several other groups of business professionals doing the same; however, there were a few couples. I had the filet which melted in my mouth like butter! It had a nice char on the edges giving it great flavor. Our table shared the brussel sprouts and lobster mac and cheese. All delicious!

Old fashioned off-Strip option

By Akos K |

I had a dinner at Del Frisco's mid-November. I was tired to go to the Strip again and looked for some quieter alternative with a great steak. I got what I was after. Booking was easy on a Friday night, not even half of the restaurant was busy. I tried the Japanese wagyu what was nicely prepared. The service was also very decent. Good wine offering with many open-bottles. If you look for something fancy this is not your place. I had the feeling that the place fits more families and the 55+ age group, even I am in my early 40 and still enjoyed it. Probably, it would not be my first choice for steak next time in Vegas but after 4-5 days tried of the noise of the Strip it is a great alternative, All in all, I got a great dinner.

Amazing

By lotsotravel2 |

From the 1.5mm dollar 007 table to the wine room. It is an amazing experience. Lemon cake, bread pudding are amazing. 8 oz filet vegas style seemed way bigger than 8 oz. Would recommend any time. Liz was one of our waitresses, she was so great.

Great steaks

By VixterLL |

Having taken clients her for the 5 year running as normal the service was exceptional, the food was very good and the steak was amazing! My only issue was you were given a loaf of bread to begin! No bread knife and not on a cutting board! The bread was okay but if it was home made it would of been nice to have served it warm or at least slices or rolls! Apart from that it’s not cheap at all but a great place .

PERFECT ANNIVERSARY DINNER!

By Eleanor O |

Everything and everyone was great. Red rose petals and a card signed by the staff were on the table. Our server, Jack, was terrific. She was the best server we have ever had. The bread was so good, we took a loaf home. We shared a shrimp cocktail and loved the cocktail sauce. I had the lobster tail, which was very good. My husband had the 12oz. fillet with peppercorn sauce. Perfectly cooked and he loved the sauce. Best steak he ever had(other than mine). We shared Chateau potatoes and asparagus. Both were excellent. Although we were completely full, we ate the chocolate soufflé and cake with ice cream. The manager, David, and Executive Chef, Fernando both came to our table to wish us a happy anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and would definitely go back. We recommend it to everyone wanting a special dinner and service.

Steak!!!!!

By Adam Geoffrey |

I booked a table a good month in advance and told them it was for my wife's 30th and requested a good table. When we arrived we were put in the back room in a walkway between 2 big tables. Even our waitress asked if we were happy and she tried to move us only to be told "no". Very annoying. Steak was out of this world and the crab cake is a must. Our waitress made the visit great she was helpful attentive and funny. She gave us a free dessert for the birthday girl. If we would of had a better table this place would of had 5 stars.

Still one of the best!!

By MRduke13 |

We usually go to this restaurant once a year, and it’s never disappointing! The service is always exceptional!! The steaks are cooked to perfection, and the sides are excellent. I love this place, and I will continue to come back every year!!!! Also I’ve been to the restaurants in Dallas, Denver and in Nashville All the same!!! Great food!!!

Excellent for business dinner

By MauricioBabilonia |

From the appetizers to the desserts, through the delicious steaks, this is a perfect place for a pleasant business dinner. They have private rooms where your group can be very well taken care of. The appetizers were wonderful, particularly the crab cakes. Service was superb (thanks, Alex and Freddy).

Bachelors Party

By Chuck D |

I came here over the weekend with a group of 11. 3 of the people in the group order the double eagle steak and it came out overcooked. 4 of us ordered the 45 day aged ribeye. As our orders came out, the waiter tells you to cut your steak in the middle and see if it’s the right temperature. After a few minutes as most of us begin to start cutting into our steaks to eat, the waiter tells us that the orders are mixed up and takes our plates and shifts the plates over to our right. How unsanitary is that?! This is the 2nd time I’ve been here in a group of 10 or more. The service is just horrible. If you want a good steak in Vegas, got to Joe’s seafood at Caesar or Mastro’s.

Exceptional Service

By Diane S |

Visiting Las Vegas during the holidays our hotel recommended Del Friscos. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere and terrific service especially during the holiday rush. The steak was well prepared as were all the side dishes. We were also served a complimentary dessert because it was a special occasion. A delicious ending to a wonderful meal.

Excellent food and service as you would expect

By personofnote |

Not too far from the strip but far enough away to regain some sanity. Nicely appointed with professional and friendly staff at every level. The steaks were cooked to perfection as were the sides. Prices aren’t for the meek, but when in Vegas....

Fantastic classic steakhouse!

By Brian S |

I've been to this location several times over the past few years. One of my favorite steakhouses in town. No hassle parking, great service, and excellent food. Prices are about the same as other steakhouses in town, not a value location. All sides are a la cart. Environment is low key, and they have a great bar. If your looking for a great steak, this is the place.

Terrible experience

By Kimberly J |

Ok I have been to Del Friscos in New York so I was very much looking forward to dinner at the Vegas location. Boy did I get a surprise. In short New York location is excellent and Vegas location is sub par on pretty much every level. Waiter acted like a used car salesperson trying to repeatedly urge us into appetizers, side dishes, desert and wine purchases. I explained upon the first time he urged us to order things that we went way over board on our lunch and were not even hungry but I wanted my daughter to experience their steak. I informed him that we would be ordering a steak each and that was all. We were on our way to seeing a show. He again urged us to try the "must have appetizers", I explained again that we would be just having a steak because we were not hungry at all and probably would only eat half ot the steak . The waiter then said "well you have to at least order a bottle of wine with that ...right?" I then said we dont drink thank you just some coke please. He made a face and then said "well your at least gonna get some side dishes right?" and kind of laughed at us. Ok by now my daughter and I are uncomfortable with this treatment. The two filet mignons arrive both were cooked perfectly and looked great. However they were seasoned horribly and were not juicy at all. I mean my 10 year old nephew cooks better steaks than the steaks we were served. We ate a little more than half of the steaks and I just did not want to finish it because it just was not good. Even though they were over fifty dollars each they were just to poor to finish. The waiter had to be chased down because our cokes were syrup flat with no carbonation but he walked by us about 5 times and we motioned him but he would quickly turn his head to ignore us. The waiter finally stopped and said "looks like you were hungrier than you thought, guess youll want to order the appetizers now ?" we said no thank you ....He says "after dinner drinks then" to my teenage daughter. Very bad experience, I mean I would of gladly just gave the waiter $30 bucks to just stop badgering us to order things.

Disjointed and noisy, but a decent steak

By Catherine E |

We ate here last night. We had a few unfortunate things happen that spoiled the evening. My lovely looking 12oz fillet mignon arrived and it was so tender but absolutely covered in pepper and I just couldn’t eat it as it was the only flavour I got and I don’t like pepper. My friend had the 16oz ribeye that was also covered in salt and pepper which she wouldn’t normally have but she did quite like it. So the staff were lovely and made me another steak, albeit it seemed about half the size of the first one, but it was plenty for me. This meant that we had to eat separately which wasn’t ideal. Also when my steak did arrive, our fries were cold. I asked for a few fresh fries but they never arrived so I literally ate just a steak. My friend also didn’t get her sauce for her steak and that eventually arrived half way through her meal. So all in all, it didn’t quite go as we hoped but they only charged us for the steaks themselves so they tried hard to correct things and the steaks were beautiful. We also found the restaurant quite noisy so not really a relaxed dining experience. Maybe putting smaller table sizers together in one area would help a little.

Our FAVORITE Restaurant

By FlywithChrisandDiPodcast |

This is our absolute favorite restaurant in Vegas. We have had impeccable service every time we have been there. We travel to Las Vegas twice a year and always make a point to get off the strip and head over to Del Frisco's. We have been to some other locations, but Vegas is head and shoulders above those. The food is amazing! My husband orders steak and I always have seafood. The wine selection is wonderful and they make great mixed drinks. We have been to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries and they make those nights even more special by having a manager come and great us and giving us one of their AMAZING desserts! Can't say enough good things about this location.

Best Steakhouse yet in My Vegas travels

By ChuckW |

Business and dining pleasure dinner. One of the best wine lists in Vegas. Affordably high-end for a quiet, quality steakhouse off the strip, Prime, Dry-aged, and Wagyu Beef are the focus , bold use of Salt and Pepper and cooked to perfection.Fantastic dinner, great service, Had the crab cake, the Prime strip steak, nice wine , sweet talked into a tour of the wine cellar. Fantastic stock of wines, best large format wine collection in Vegas. For large parties they have a glassed in room in the center of the wine room. Crazy great place for a special evening. 5-Stars.

Good Spot for a Dinner Meetng

A nice relaxed atmosphere and started with a selection of appetizers then on to a great steak. Service was great and the wine selection was very good. Everyone enjoyed the evening.

Biggest disappointment of Vegas

By Debra B |

Horrible smell as we entered but the disappointment only got worse. Five of us with reservations were seated in a round table in corner....staff literally leaned over in front of one guest to set food down, get dishes, etc the entire short meal. When serving corn, dripped it down water glass trying to reach plate. Steaks came out before appetizers eaten, sides came out slowly with the last of three ten minutes after steaks. Water glasses never filled and were empty. Rushing to clear plates while we ate and took bread and sides before last guest was done with steak. An hour from entering we were leaving over $500 later. It was a fast food steak house experience but not price. I've never had such a horrible experience at a Del Frisco anywhere

Still Quality Service, Meal

By DrMike60 |

We had an Uber problem and arrived late. I HATE being late and was in an ugly mood. Ben, our server, diffused my mood with a genuine pleasant attitude. Thanks, Ben! Our meal was outstanding, sharing a steak perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly medium rare. The potato side dish was rich and well worth the calories. Ben noted it was our anniversary and treated us to an over the top dessert. He also gave us a “Hot and juicy” suggestion for the next day. Ben is one main reason we will return to Del Frisco and ask for him. Enjoy!

Having been to New York Del Friscos a number of times we were looking forward to trying the LV version. We were not disappointed. Steaks were top quality with lovely flavour and texture. Restaurant is a little away from main strip so we took a cab but was worth it. Not quite as good as the NY one but comes very close. If you like your steaks then visit here.

Those who have found it come back many times

By Chris_in_DSM |

They’ve recently gone through a remodel and it looks great in there. The chairs were a little knicked up but still very comfy. They have filet special and is our favorite. Noticed large group next to us getting great looking platters as well. The staff is very friendly and inviting. They will call a cab for u and take u to the Linq or Venetian shops which are close by afterwards.

Dinner

By gregorypaul84 |

A $50 steak that comes with 0 sides is a little unporpotional to top it off with a $15 side is a little unsettling. Having 2 people to scoop a side on my plate is overachieving for my liking. Appetizer and lobster bisque was good. I did have to send back my steak to have it cooked more. I had asked for medium and it was rare. They even had a flashlight to check. Never, in my lifetime had I ever sent an item back to be fixed. The waiter was very good and the staff were friendly. Not the best steakhouse I have been to.

Not the greatest

We are big fans are Del Frisco’s, however our visit at the Vegas location wasn’t our favorite. The service was nice, but we weren’t impressed with the ambience or food. New York & Chicago gives a far more amazing experience.

Cramped and noisy, but decent food

By Liz M |

Was in LV on a business trip with a group of my coworkers, and one of them organized a group dinner to Del Frisco's for 9 people. We got there at 6:45pm and it was very crowded in the waiting area, so we moved out to the patio because we were still waiting for one person (and they won't seat you unless you have absolutely everyone in your party). While we were sitting out on the patio, waitstaff was coming out to take orders from another group that was out there but never stopped to ask if we wanted anything (we were hoping to at least order drinks while we were waiting). Once we finally got seated, I was shocked at how crowded the room they lead us to was. There were large groups everywhere and the chairs were literally back to back, which might not have been a huge problem except the waitstaff still had to get through to serve. I was baffled why you would lay out a room like that and not leave walking room between chairs for even the wait staff. It was at least 15 minutes before a waiter stopped at our table, we asked for a wine list and didn't get that for another 30 minutes. He tried to tell us the specials but it was so loud in there we basically couldn't hear anything he was saying. It was probably another 30-45 minutes before he came back to take our orders. The only saving grace of this place was probably the food. I got the sea bass and thought it was delicious. Sides are not included, so they force you to order them separately, which or course adds a ton of cost. One of the mashed potatoes we ordered was not edible because it was so salty, but the other one was ok so not sure what happened there. Overall everyone was generally happy with their meal though. I would like to note there is literally not one vegetarian option on their menu, but they were able to make a pasta primavera for the lone vegetarian we had in the group. Although the food was tasty, it was not enough to offset my displeasure with the cramped seating and atmosphere. I would personally not choose to come here with a group ever again.

I really wanted to give them a better review

By AtlRealtor |

Slightly off of the strip, newly renovated and nice staff-pretty much stops there. Not sure if they also renovated their kitchen staff because they got just about everything wrong. The place wasn't even busy. Ribeye ordered medium well, came out rare. Baked Potato plain-came out hard. Filet ordered butterflied well came out CHARRED and CRISPY. Forgot the green beans and salad. Didn't bother reminding him. Not worth $200 when you have several other steak house choices in Vegas. Won't return.

We love this place!

We come to Las Vegas about 3 times a year, and Stay at the Wynn Tower Suites usually. We always come over to Del Frisco's Steakhouse because it is always has wonderful food, drinks and service!

Exceeded Expectations

By William R |

My wife and I are Las Vegans and accustomed to exceptional restaurants. We dine frequently at the better restaurants and enjoy good food expertly served in a matching setting. We had not eaten in Del Frisco's before but were anxious to give it a try. We're super glad we did. The facilities were gorgeous, with dark paneling and crystal lights. We were told it had been a complete makeover a couple of years ago. I ordered the small tenderloin done with a peppercorn sauce and a side of potatoes au gratin. My wife ordered the crab cakes and a creamed spinach side. My steak was done to perfection and absolutely delicious. The potatoes were excellent, very cheesy and a large serving. My wife said that her crab cakes were the best she'd ever eaten. Her creamed spinach was a little different with a spicy flavor, and it was also delicious. She complimented her meal with a glass of a very good Pinot from Oregon, and since I have a mean doctor who is concerned about my liver, I enjoyed a bottle of Italian sparkling water. We finished our meal by sharing a huge piece of lemon cake that was so good I was ready to bet that it had come from a famous local bakery that has it's own TV program. The service was unparalleled! Our server, Ciarra, anticipated our every need. Also the wait staff functioned as a team, with everyone ready to jump in and help his/her team member. We shall certainly return to Del Frisco's.

Worth the price!

By BJ H |

I look at higher priced restaurants with a more critical eye. If they are asking above average prices then the food and service should be above average. I went to Del Frisco's thinking the food would have to be excellent for that price point. I was not disappointed! I had filet which was terrific and cooked perfectly. Also had the potatos and calamari which were great. However the best part was the butter cake! I am a sweets fanatic and this would rate as one of my favorite desserts I have ever had. If you are looking for an upscale dining option you cant go wrong with Del Frisco.

Found metal in my salad

By Kirby W |

Horrible service. I'm a lover of good food and service and this place lacked in both fields. I found a rusty piece of metal in my salad and all the manager did was give me another salad, which I didn't end up eating because I was scared from the first one. Its like when you eat a piece of fish and find a bone and it just ruins the meal. All the manager did was apologize, what she should of done was comp my drinks and salad. Aside from the food and service the room itself wasn't spectacular. The walls are grey and no windows. If your looking for a nice del friscos with an amazing view go to the one in the seaport of Boston. Vegas DF is by far the worst!!

True to the Brand Steakhouse

By Conseiller99 |

If you enjoy Del Frisco’s; as we do; you’ll be right at home here. This one is actually off the Strip a bit; in a stand-alone building. Nice bar; the usual array of excellent steaks; specials and sides. We enjoyed some Florida stone crab as an app. You can Uber in and out.

Best Filet Ever

By Debbie S |

A group of us visited Del Frisco’s this past week. We were told how good it was. It lived up to our expectations and then some. We had a variety of item. We had a sampler platter of appetizers that included king crab legs and crab cakes. Very tasty. I ordered a filet & it was cooked perfectly. Probably the best that I have ever had. And they have a signature cocktail known as the VIP, that drink was wonderful and way too easy going down. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention our waiter, Jason. He helped make our experience memorable. He was great. He was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in making our selections. This is a must visit place.

It’s all about steak

By David M |

This is a good steakhouse. However their wine list is far far too long. They have over 1000 (apparently) and as a wine drinker I find that frustrating. The steaks were good but not the steak we had in Treasures restaurant was better (unbelievably). The Mac ‘n cheese with lobster was the best I ever had and was a great side to the steaks. Back to the wine: It’s expensive and the bulk of the wines are listed at about the $350 mark. That puts you under pressure to spend far more on wine than you might have done otherwise. A sneaky plan but rather blatant.

Great food and service

Outstanding food and service! Steak was off the charts!!! The sides were excellent and enjoyed the bar area as we waited for the table. Professional staff.

Outstanding Steak House off the Strip

By Terry K |

In a city brimming with fine restaurants, Del Frisco's Double Eagle has clearly found a niche based on superior service, outstanding food, and old-school ambience. My wife and I celebrated a belated anniversary, and what a three-hour treat it was. The happy hour drink prices are excellent. Our astute bartender, Ronnie, also recommended the oysters on the half shell--at happy hour prices, they were a bargain based on superior freshness and flavor. Dinner was perfectly paced and fun due to the attentiveness of our server, Lauren, and the manager, David. They both stopped by our table at appropriate lulls in the dinner, making great conversation. We learned a lot about the Del Frisco franchise from David--he is clearly proud of this "chain" restaurant because it does so many things right. About dinner. The seared octopus was a generous portion of tender tentacles with a tasty sauce--our only complaint/recommendation was that it needed to be seared a bit more. My wife's scallops were perfect in their simplicity: seven large scallops, perfectly cooked with just the right amount of sear. My dry-aged ribeye was also perfectly cooked to medium rare and had just the right amount of "funkiness" that comes with dry-aged beef. The huge serving of Del Frisco's Uptown Potato was to die for--Fontina cheese and truffles in abundance. Our anniversary dessert, compliments of the restaurant, was a combination of the butter cake and the chocolate souffle cake. The butter cake is to die for--a must try for its combination of flavor and texture. A note--Lauren mentioned to us that the restaurant will be closed in July for renovations, to include more modern colors and decor. A shame, really, because we loved the dark wood of a traditional steak house and the piano player in the bar (who may be no more with the update, after 18 years!).

Awesomeness place

First time visit and celebrating a birthday party. We were their for dinner and I recommend you get a booth, because they have the high back benches that gives you a private dining experience. The entire staff was so friendly. And I don’t just mean our knowledgeable server Bailey S. but even other servers that walked by our table, they always acknowledged us with a very happy friendly greeting. The birthday girl was given a beautiful birthday card that the staff signed, that was just the most awesome attention to detail. Now for the food...OMG start with the crab cakes, and they are not what I had imagined, because I was expecting them in a bread batter, on the contrary, it’s just crab in this amazing Cajun sauce. And you need to order more than one that’s how good hey are. Also, make sure you order the lobster Mac & Cheese, it’s just an awesome parmesan thick sauce that was heavenly. I had the house Cabernet Sauvignon very delicious and smooth. The birthday girl had the VIP, the pineapple was aged 14 days, and our server called it “paradise in a glass” martini. Of course, the steaks were just amazing and make sure you get the Ribeye 16 oz dry aged, medium rare, was just again awesome. Our server brought a celebration tray of butter cake on caramel sauce topped with butter pecan ice cream, and a chocolate soufflĂ© topped with raspberries and a side of vanilla bean. It was such an amazing dinner experience that can’t wait to experience this again the next time I visit Vegas. An awesome job to all the Del Frisco’s staff and wish I could give you all more than 5 stars!!

Friends & Family trip to Las Vegas

By Donald P |

I had visited your restaurant twice before. My wife, and our friends were visiting Vegas for a weekend that included the Nashville Predators hockey game. There was only one restaurant that I wanted us to visit while in Vegas and it was Del Frisco's. I tried not to build hype for our visit and let the place speak for itself. One of the guests in our party of 4 said this evening was the best dining experience she'd ever had. When I dine at a nice restaurant, I enjoy a pace that is slow and steady. James made sure everything was spot on. We were also seated away from the bar area as I don't like a lot of noise for dining. Every aspect of the meal was fabulous. The cocktails were spot on. I had the bourbon and honey and it was fabulous. My wife had the Grey Goose Cosmo. I also had a couple glasses of GL LeVolte Dell with my meal. It was superb. The appetizers were fabulous. This included the bacon that was out of this world incredible. Also included the shrimp cocktail with the 3 sauce samples. My wife truly enjoyed the lobster bisque as this is a favorite for any great restaurant we go to. It did not disappoint. I had the bone in ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. Sides of brussels sprouts along with lobster mac and cheese were incredible. We had so much food for the table, the only disappointment was, we were unable to finish it all. My wife had the 8 oz. filet that she enjoyed and cooked at the requested temperature. The night belonged to our server James, who made the night a success. His attention to each of our requests were spot on. He was fun, made great suggestions and allowed us to have a memorable evening. The restaurant alone, along with the food, would only have been part of the fabulous night. James put everything over the top for us. At one point we talked at our table about how the evening was going. Unfortunatly I was battling a severe cold but still enjoyed every aspect of the evening. One person in our group doesn't drink alcohol and his drink of choice is Diet Dr. Pepper. We said to ourselves we doubted they had this as a drink option. I believed that based on what we had experienced thus far, that even if it were not an option, they'd make it happen. We asked James if they had Diet Dr. Pepper for a drink option. He said unfortunately they do not. We explained that we thought they would not have it and thanked him. After about 20 minutes Edgar and James arrive at the table and place a glass with ice on the table in front of the gentleman that drinks Diet Dr. Pepper. Edgar opened a bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper and poured this for our guest. To say the least, we were blown away. We stood and applauded the level of care for customer service that was on display. All I could say was WOW as I applauded. James said that Edgar went down to a convenience store and bought this drink. INCREDIBLE! These two employees of your restaurant get it. They understand that small things mean the most. If you can make it happen, get outside the box and make it happen. We topped the dinner off with the butter cake. Let's just say it was incredible. Our cocktails, appetizer, soup, wine, meal and dessert were 259.00. By no means are we wealthy, but the night was so spectacular that we never questioned what anything was costing. In the end, if we could say it was worth it, then it was a night to never forget. In the end, it was worth every penny. We finished the evening off with a tour of the wine cellar provided by James. I'd never seen the wine cellar and as a collector this was great to experience. I'd told my wife and guest about the James Bond wine collection. We got a personal showing of this by James. This wasn't a night about taking pictures, posting on the internet, but a night about dining perfection. You should be very proud of your entire team. You have customers for LIFE!

Amazing Dining Experience

By Susan B |

While on a trip to Vegas we went for dinner to Del Frisco's with friends. Everything about the evening was amazing from the moment we walked through the door. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff was amazing. Ro was our waitress. She helped us figure out menu and kept assuring us that it was to, take our time. I also want to give a "shout out" to Rowland. He had a great sense of humor and we could tell he took pride in his job. Thanks again to the staff at Del Frisco's for helping to make memorable evening for us.

The Vegas Steakhouse all others should try to be!

By AshburnTravelers |

We have avoided Del Frisco's in Las Vegas for reasons that have nothing to do with the food or service. We are so glad we returned. The restaurant has recently renovated and it has greatly changed the ambiance especially around the bar area. The pace and transition of the meal are finely tuned and the wait staff and managers are seasoned veterans. Many have been there for ten years or longer and we have special relationships with them. They continue to offer a great menu with special wine pairings. They are not over priced maybe as they are off strip. It's definitely worth the trip. I highly recommend that the other Vegas steakhouses visit Del Frisco's and observe how great restaurants serve customers.

Best Happy Hour in Las Vegas!

Excellent food, generous portions - reasonable prices! Loved the cheese steak egg rolls, the burger is a meal in itself! Highly recommend! You will not go away hungry and you will be most satisfied!

Great food/Fantastic service

By David B |

Recently took my dad here for a birthday dinner before we went to the Eagles concert, best steak I’ve had in recent memory. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. Drinks were great, the Anejo Old Fashioned, and the off menu “Grandma Nancy” (boot the fruit) will not disappoint!
