Me & my husband decided to eat here after it was suggested to him by a friend, after we attended an event in Philly. SO GLAD we did! The service was very attentive, we showed up a little early for our reservation & was seated right away. The place is beautiful.. there’s so much to look at. I don’t think there’s a bad seat. Our waiter was extremely nice and answered all of our questions as well as made some good suggestions. We had their signature cocktail which was infused with pineapple, sweet & delicious! For appetizer we shared deep fried lobster tails that came with two dipping sauces, on the expensive side but we were pleased. For our entrees we both got the dry aged steaks, shareable lobster Mac & cheese, and shareable asparagus with some kind of nutty topping. ALL FANTASTIC! Staff even comes out with a mini flashlight so you can check if your steak was cooked to your liking. When I tell you.. my cup was filled every time it appeared drank from, or my plate was finished, someone was there taking care of it. I couldn’t give the staff any more kudos for their outstanding job. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and they even gave him a piece of strawberry cheesecake, made in house with a candle in it for us to celebrate. I ordered the butter cake which I also highly recommend. So impressed with the food and dessert here, we will be back. We left full & happy celebrating together! Only regret is that I didn’t take any photos.

We had a 7 o’clock reservation and didn’t get seated for over an hour. The food was okay, didn’t really think it lived up to the hype. It’s super loud, not very intimate, and overall there’s just WAY better places to go in the city

Our meal was absolutely perfect. You get what you pay for here. Excellent service by Victoria, friendly and knowledgeable. Steaks tasty and cooked exactly as ordered and the desserts were magnificent.

Great experience will definitely be back. The food was delicious the service was awesome. The atmosphere was just right on a cool evening in the city.

Always a wonderdul experience at Del Frisco’s. Ben our waiter was fabulous and the teamwork from the rest is f the staff was seamless and amazing. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend.

Ambiance is upscale and perfect for business In Philadelphia. Immediate seating for our large party as we booked ahead and showed up on time as requested. Liked the large shrimp appetizer. 22-oz bone in rib-eye cooked to perfection. Creamed corn was the best side dish and also liked the mushrooms and mashed potatoes. Asparagus were fine but nothing special. Paired nicely with a red blend cab. Would have liked to try the banana bread pudding but will save for next time!

Went to Delfrisco's for a business dinner. Great menu, food and service. Was told it is a little pricey.

Fantastic food with a decadent atmosphere. Wait staff were courteous. With three floors, the decorations and design of this restaurant are stunning. I had the lump crab cake and every bite was delicious. Must visit if you’re in downtown Philly for lunch or dinner.

Outstanding restaurant in a great old building that they loving kept the vaults, ornate ceilings & columns. From the moment you walk in you are treated to white-glove service. The atmosphere is loud, but not so you have to shout. DH & I came to Del Frisco's Double Eagle in Philadelphia to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Destiny, our server, was friendly, cheerful, & attentive. She gave us white-glove service, was cheerful, friendly & attentive. After our meal Destiny took a quick moment to graciously show us a bit of the building's history. We started our meal with the Thick Cut Nueske's Bacon Au Poivre, which is a bacon lovers must. Has a bit of a spicy kick to it, but the smokey bourbon molasses flavor really comes through. We each had the Lobster Bisque Soup that had ample amounts of lobster. Too spicy for me, but I still finished it as the creamy undertones were good. DH loved the soup. For entree's DH had the Del's Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes with Cajun Lobster Cream Sauce. He said is was very underwhelming, no spicy kick at all. I thought they were good with plenty of moist crab. I had the Seared Chilean Sea Bass. The combination of the Sea Bass, Crab Fried Rice & Black Bean Garlic Sauce was exquisite - BRAVO! For sides we had the Lobster Mac & Cheese - not enough lobster and we had the Lobster Mashed Potatoes - loaded with lobster. We ended the meal with the Butter Cake & also the Chocolate Hazelnut Bar. The hazelnut bar is very sweet so we saved it to bring home. The Butter Cake is Fantastic - Just perfect in every way! Make sure you save room for this dessert!

Ok, I really wanted to like the experience of a nice, non-traditional Thanksgiving meal, but it was just so-so. First, I expected service to be “off” because of the busy holiday and that our server was the lead server for a large group seated next to us. What surprised us was that both of our ribeyes were tough. Certainly not the meat quality I’d expect from a top end steakhouse. Was it bad? No, but one has a higher expectation of a top steakhouse. Del Frisco’s let us down this evening.

Atmosphere, drinks, and appetizers were great. The spacing between our appetizers and entrees were way too close. One right after the next. My husband and I had steaks that were tender but way too salty. My daughter had the 18oz lobster tail that was terrible. She couldn’t even bite through most of it. It was overcooked and had no flavor. For $144 it should have been perfect. When I told the waiter he said oh sorry maybe it’s because the lobster is warm water and I corrected him and said the menu says cold water. Then he said the bigger tails are less tender. He had no idea what he was talking about and didn’t even offer my daughter something else on the menu. We then had an hour gap from when our waiter came back to refresh our drinks or offer dessert. For a bill that was $500 for three with only 2 drinks, 3 apps, and 3 entrees the experience was disappointing. One and done for Del Fresco’s👎

Of all the Pittsburgh steakhouses, this one wins for most consistent. Whether it’s the food, the drinks or the service, it is always a top notch experience. The decor feels timeless yet modern. Definitely a more hip, sophisticated and warm vibe which makes it feel like you’re someplace special. Nick and Michael are exceptional managers. They always make us feel valued and appreciated. See you all soon!

My friend and her husband absolutely love this steakhouse and go often. For my birthday the were having restaurant week so we gave it a try with some of my family and friends. My husband ordered from the restaurant week options but I ordered the steak paired with crab cake. The steak and crab cake were top notch. I also enjoyed their lobster bisque. The servers were great and I can't wait to return.

My wife and I went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday! It is an amazing experience. The wait staff were very attentive and made sure that every thing was to our liking. The decor is beautiful with the building having been a bank. Definitely a place we would revisit !!

We went to Del Friscos for the first time Sunday night. We arrived about 6:50. They addressed that we were there for our anniversary several times. Drinks were ok - appetizers (calamari ) were ok. We did not get our steak entrees until 9pm. The server did come out and said the chef apologizes for the delay. My steak was over cooked and extremely salty and the side of Brussels sprouts were so salty they were difficult to eat. Would I return? No - it certainly was not worth the price.

The staff was rude, the service was terrible and the food was awful. Don't waste your hard earned money. Caveat emptor.

The service by the waiters and other staff was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. The environment was very calm and relaxing. The restaurant was pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for, which is high quality and sophistication.

Shared a filet trio with mashed potato and lemon cake for dessert. What a treat after a long shopping day! Friendly staff that smilingly arranged a different table when a draft. So we got a nice table with view on second floor. Really enjoyed the meal and atmosphere.

I wrote about this restaurant in 2016 - "meh" - and provided feedback about the server, food and overall ambiance. The decision to return was not my idea. It was a larger group this time. Seven years later and they still haven't improved. Omg. This is really bad. I do not recommend this establishment. The server was unfocused and never asked me if I wanted another drink. When I reminded him, he was confrontational and stated that he was waiting for me to finish my other one which was already finished. The $60 - $70 filet was overcooked. It has been year since I ate at a Texas Roadhouse and the experience this evening reminded me of those days. Our server spilled our drinks on one guest at our table. She was soaked and the GM did not ask to offset costs for dry cleaning or anything. When the server spilled the drinks, glass broke, and my wife was cut on her arm, with blood coming out. They gave her a band aid and immediately moved us from the larger dining area. The situation that day was so surreal that it seemed bizarre or that we were part of a prank. More accurately, it seemed like Del Frisco had just opened at a strip mall somewhere, with staff scurrying around spilling drinks. Weird. Not realizing or understanding the severity of the situation, the restaurant took a small amount off the tab after moving us to a different seating area. In retrospect, it seems that the restaurant has a serious problem with staff - training - and how to address a very serious injury caused on their premises by a server. They do not appear to have a written policy in place to address injuries to customers like this or to address guests who are drenched in alcohol from server spilled drinks. You may not have a bunch of drinks spilled on you, and you may not get cut, but you should be aware that the filet is overcooked and that the leadership there doesn't particularly care about guests.

Del Frisco's in Philadelphia is located inside what was formerly a very ornate bank. It is good for large parties - your private party can even dine inside what was formerly the bank vault. The selection and preparation of the food was carefully crafted and the service was outstanding.

I made reservations for my wife and myself in January 2024 for February 17th. When I arrived on time for my reservation I was told by the hostess to "Wait along that wall" (bad sign right there for a top-rated steak house experience) As my wife and I were "waiting along the wall", we stood there watching parties come in and be seated before us. After 20 minutes of this I asked the hostess if she forgot about us, she said with a "nod" yes sorry I will seat you right away. We were then led downstairs to the most crowed loudest room in Center city Philadelphia. I couldn't even hear the waiter. I had to speak into the waiter's ear to ask him to be seated somewhere else. He came back and took us back to the hostess. She asked me where I would like to sit, I replied somewhere quiet. I had to go back to the wall to wait again 30 minutes has passed before we were led to our new table. 3 feet from the main bar lololol. My wife and i left and went to Chickies and Petes and had better service there for more than half of what I had to pay there. If you go to a steak house for atmosphere STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Wait it gets better. They had me as canceling this reservation, technically I did, I decided to call the manager to explain why, he said to me, " I dont know what you expect from this phone call", then he hung up. I am so happy we decided to go when we did. I guarantee there are others out there that had this same "take it or leave" experience there. Go to Capital Grille its peaceful.

To say this restaurant has a wine list is to do it an injustice. It has a wine book. An A4. An inch thick. It's actually too big for most people. Just as well the wine director came over to us. We didn't ask for him. He appeared. We told him what we were going to order and what type of wine we liked, and he picked the perfect bottle. I'm not sure whether they took it from the 3 storey wine tower or in the enormous wine vault. We ordered steaks, both were perfect. It's an expensive restaurant, but $15 for an order of asparagus seemed excessive. Except the portion had about 15 stalks, so more than enough to feed more than 2 people. My one criticism would be that the potatoes were very over-seasoned. Other than that, it was a great experience in a wonderful room, that used to be a bank. The bill was not for the faint hearted, but you get what you pay for.

Full disclosure, I’m picky. I pride myself on recognizing a great dining experience. From start to finish, Del Friscos Philly is one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I was in Philly for a guys weekend, 9 of us...and this is the exact experience we were looking for. Ambience- Upon walking into this place it becomes clear that your not in an average steakhouse. From the high ceilings to the bar sitting at the top of the staircase...amazing. Then, we were fortunate enough to get seated in the basement vault for our meal....Bet unique Drinks- I’m an old fashioned drinker and they make a great one here...Make sure you request a single ice cube though. This place is known for their wine selection which becomes clear when you see their wine room that is 2 stories high. Food- amazing...lobster Mack side, the MP seafood platter....the bone in ribeye is one of the best I’ve had... Service- we were spoiled from start to finish... If your looking for a place to go for a great meal and experience...Trust me...go to Del Friscos. I know it’s not an easy decision when reading reviews...but I can’t imagine any place beating this place

The Double Eagle Cabernet is unlike anything I’ve had before. It was a wonderful complement to a great dining experience. Too bad I can’t buy it anywhere! This isn’t Saltgrass so I don’t know why people are whining about the price. It is a nice dinner and well worth the money.

My husband and I, along with another couple, went there. We had no idea it was Valentine's weekend, and were seated in the vault section downstairs. What an experience. I have nothing bad to say. I can only advise you to try it out!

Was in town for work and had a business dinner here. Service was great, kitchen was slow. Wine list was good and it’s a good steakhouse. I don’t eat pork but the table loved the bacon appetizer. We loved the cheesesteak dumplings they were very “philly”

This was the 2nd time visiting this restaurant and having dinner with customers. The location is in city so pretty walking distance to major hotels and business/corps. Check-in lobby is pretty open and the bar area is good (although a bit tight). Food is super good and wine selection is also good too. Only downside is restroom is in the basement and has to walk through other events if it happened to have it arranged.

Stay away!! My boyfriend and I ate Thanksgiving here last year and I literally was dreaming of doing it again. I have been a huge fan of DrlFriscos since they opened in Rockefeller Center in NYC. Everything from the cocktails to dessert is superior. Is it overpriced? Maybe but at least u know u r getting the best. 24 dollar crab cake? Yes but it’s the best crab cake u will ever eat. Well folks not anymore. From the first glass of Prosecco I sent back to the mediocre cocktail I settled for I should have known it was going to get worse. The steak (115 bucks) we shared came bloody instead of medium and after sending it back it came back over cooked and had a weird funky taste to it. Cream spinach was runny. And their lobster Mac and cheese could have been from a box for all I know. When I looked up who owned Delfriscos I saw they were brought out this year by another company so I guess that explains it. We r going back tomm to get our money back we r so disgusted.

Went here for dinner on a Wednesday night. Staff was excellent, food was superb. I had a cajun 8 oz filet with horseradish crust, highly recommend.

The prime strip was the best NY strip steak I have ever had. It was a great dining experience. This location is located in the old First Pennsylvania Trust Bank building, so there is great ambience to accompany great food. Safe to say that our server, Christian, did an excellent job. The only facet of our meal that needs improvement is the bread. I enjoy warm, crusty bread with butter or olive oil, but what is served is a soft, spongy, cold loaf of bread. Despite that, DelFrisco's is well worth the visit for an outstanding steak dinner.

A good dinner experience was marred by the lousy check out. We requested separate checks for the 4 couples but they said they could not accommodate us but they would assist at the end. Well they didn't assist or do anything to help us break down the check. The manager said separate checks are not available because it slows down service. Well that's a load of crap. I think for what they charge they could accommodate their customers. We'll be reviewing our downtown dining options after this. It was not a good experience. My previous 5 star review was changed to 1 star after this crappy experience.

Fantastic food and family environment. Was recommended while we were in Philadelphia and didn’t disappoint. Great drinks and steaks. Fantastic service

From the minute you walk in until you leave is a great experience. The ambiance, quiet and exquisite decoration just leaves you in awe. "Kim" waited on us and I suggest asking for her the next time you go. She is truly a professional with great conversation, knowledge of every dish either special or not and how it's prepared. The Steaks or Seafood done to perfection with much deep flavor and with great presentation. Lobster Bisque with chunks of Maine Lobster to die for. You won't want the evening to end and can't wait to return. It's that kind of place. ENJOY!

Was in town with a group of friends and we stop by for dinner. The old bank building that the restaurant certain gives an amazing Dining experience can you feel relaxed from the moment you sit down. I had a 24oz rib eye which was cooked perfectly. The side were great and the staff was awesome.

We were a party of six for a family birthday celebration. The experience got off to a negative start for a variety of reasons, even before I tasted my first bit of food. 1. The website indicated that valet parking would be $26. When I pulled up, it said $32. After I questioned the discrepancy, the attendant said that it was a mistake and removed the sign for $32, which revealed the sign for $26. However, I was then asked for $33, since I have a mid-sized SUV. Not a great start to the evening. 2. Had drinks at the bar while waiting for the table. The restaurant would not allow me to carry the tab over to the dinner check. Annoying. 3. I ordered a 2018 bottle of wine for $110. Instead, a 2019 bottle of the same wine was brought out FOR THE SAME PRICE! So, instead, I ordered a 2014 bottle of wine for $265; this time, the server brought out a 2017 bottle FOR THE SAME PRICE! This is a bait and switch and, unless the wine is from a special vintage from years ago, a bottle that is 3 years newer should never be the same price. The sommelier was brought over to explain and offered a nominal discount due to the "delay" we encountered, and not for selling a less aged wine at a premium. I sent it back and ordered a far less expensive bottle to end the painful process. The food was good but not great. My $89 steak was ordered medium-rare with a char. It came out with a char but was raw. It needed to be cooked some more. Our party was happy overall with the food and service. The side dishes were outstanding. However, I have had better food and far better steakhouse experiences at Barclay Prime, Alpen Rose and even Capital Grille.

Wow, this place is great. We were able to get in without a reservation, out hotel gave them a call and they had a space for us. The place is huge, but it was quite crowded. It is located in an old bank building and is stunning. Everything about this place is great. They have great steaks, no question, cooked exactly as ordered and so tender. The cuts are huge. But what I loved, just loved, was the seafood. We had a crab salad which was so fresh and yummy. The dressing was perfect and there was a lot of crab. We also had a crab cake and it was just as good as any I have had in Baltimore and for me that is saying a lot. We also had lobster mac and cheese and I so wanted to eat it all. We were all sharing so we got to try a lot of dishes, but that one, I wanted to grab for myself. Next time, I am getting my own. It is amazing. The wine list is extensive and expensive so get ready for that, but they have great California reds. The servers are so great. They know everything about the menu and even the wine. We were so so happy, and now I am hungry again.

Visited this particular site on October 13, 2019 with an “reservation” yet waited over 30 minutes to be seated. Upon being seated, the assigned server (male) was NOT patient, I told him this was my 1st time, he opted to give me the history of the building instead ... oppose to making menu suggestions. His energy was very impatient (busy) which should have no bearings on taking time out for a first time customer. My entree consisted of: *starter: lettuce wedge w/ blu cheese crumbles & blu cheese dressing *porterhouse steak ( medium well) pink inside / *broccoli/ lobster mac & cheese Steak did NOT have no sign of pink Manager happened to come to table, we told him about wait time, so he offered complimentary dessert (his choice) some sort of *cake crumble w/ice cream on top \ chocolate cake like ( not appetizing) 😖. We talked, did not finish our food, by the time we left, servers were cleaning, Valet was no where to be found...hostess was very blasé about the car situation, no effort placed into. First & Last time... NO one wants to do there job.

The service here is the best. From the busboy to the sommelier, they were perfect. The food and the ambiance of the building can’t be beat.

Had a business dinner here recently! The food was amazing!!! Every single thing I tasted from the menu was good! I especially recommend the Bacon Au Poivre and Calamari appetizers!

Very nice restaurant, and the whole family enjoyed. Brought my 8 and 10 yo girls too, and they had a good time. Kids were offered a couple options- chicken fingers, hambuger etc. which was nice, as my kids don’t like steak. While expensive, it’s a nice environment.

I loved the filet mignon here it just melted once it it my palette. Seasoned to perfection, the drinks were on point, service was good considering how busy it was. If you make reservations please know they won’t seat you until everyone in your party arrives. We enjoyed ourselves & had an awesome time. The cheesecake was EVERYTHING!!

We arrived at the restaurant at 9 pm on a Sunday quickly made aware they were short handed of staff ti sit us at a table but we can sit at the bar. They advertise they close at 10pm. Both bartenders at the bar were rude and were obviously bothered by clients requests. Comments like “everybody wants something” when i asked for my counter space to be cleaned. My ribeye was definitely not 16 oz and not cooked as requested, nobody bothered to ask. We also ordered a steak salad it was drenched in dressing. Asked for dessert.....kitchen is closed. Asked again...ok here is the menu but you must order within a minute. When i mentioned about my steak to the male bartender his comment “he didn’t cook it”. I asked for the manager who was very nice and credited my steak back. In hindsight he only gave back the minimum possible. I was expecting only to get what we paid for....they felt very short of that. For the first time ever i left without giving a tip, very unlike me.

This is a popular steakhouse, but I think the atmosphere is better than the food itself. --There are definitely better steak restaurants in Philadelphia. Two people in our party ordered a filet that had a mushroom sauce on it. Both of them choked because of the amount of pepper that was in the sauce. Not sure if it was an accident, but there was no description of a pepper sauce the menu. The other steaks did come as ordered, sides were good. What does makes Del Friscos unique is that it was an old bank. Our table was actually in the vault which was super cool.

We gave this restaurant another chance because a friend wanted to try it. Décor and size are impressive, the faded and torn shabby carpeting not so much. Stellar service-but the thick heavy coating of dressing on the salad and (again) extreme over salting of the meat, which is not great quality to begin, did not impress. Was cooked correctly but overwhelmIngly salty. For easily over $100 per person (without alcohol which is incredibly marked up), sitting near other patrons wearing ripped jeans, sweatshirts with hoods up and baseball caps on brings down the whole experience further. Can say confidently won’t be back. Too many other good steak houses.

We hadn't been to this location in 4 years, so to celebrate our 35th anniversary, we just had to go. I don't know what it was but it was an excellent night. The staff were excellent, the atmosphere was excellent and the food was excellent. I've been to the one in NY and in Vegas and I can tell you that I don't ever recall getting a steak. I was determined this time. I had the ribeye. It was delicious. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I normally say that no steak at any steakhouse is worth the price because you can buy one and make it at home. Good thing I didn't have my glasses. I just ordered what I wanted this time without really looking and I'm elated to have gotten a steak this time. We had a couple of apps, but that steak will stay with me "forever" lol. I'm heading back in a couple of weeks for lunch but I know I'm going to have a mouth watering for that steak. You have to visit this location. It's an old bank. I mean a huge bank that must have held billions. If you dine on the second floor, it has a grand staircase made out of marble. They have a couple of private rooms that looked cool. The one was a huge vault. I'll have to have a party in the vault after I hit the lottery. Go and enjoy and be sure to order the Ribeye.

I have been there at least 5 times because a client of mine loves the crab cakes. I dont know why they are really not good and very expensive and not made with all crab. Leys talk about the steaks and the side, I rather not nothing to talk about. Below average. To top it off you are dishing out alot of money. I have tried all the sides they have to offer and all ate way below average. The only good things about the resturant is that its is beautiful and the waitresses are really pretty. Good place to have drinks but again you are paying top dollar.

DelFriscos is a well known place, so expectations were high. The building itself is worth a stop. It’s an old bank, almost 100 years old, and stunning. We ordered the seared wagyu beef carpaccio and it was fabulous. It had arugula, fennel, parm, and a mustard aioli. It was the perfect balance of flavors. The steak was a 45 day dry aged ribeye. It was cooked well and we enjoyed it. The sides were a let down though. We had the potatoes au gratin and Brussels sprouts. Neither were as good as we expected, they were both a little flat, in need of salt and/or acid. Dessert was the chocolate hazelnut crunch bar. The texture was so fun and it was not super sweet. It was hard to stop eating it. We really enjoyed the architecture and atmosphere. However, if we were to come back I think we’d get the salad, maybe try an app, and get the dessert again. Be sure to use the bathroom downstairs to see the old vault. They host private parties there.

The ambiance is great. Not a bad seat in the house. Had the tuna tartar and lobster appetizers - both were delicious - could have been larger. Steaks were on point - cooked to perfection, tender and tasty. For desert we had the butter cake - outstanding. Overall the meal was excellent. Only beef is the drink prices - $22.50 for a grey goose cosmopolitan - that’s gouging. Plus it wasn’t even that good. For $22.50 there should be some grey goose in it.

My sister gave me a gift card to visit here for my bday with my husband. It was an exceptional experience. All the food we ordered was absolutely delicious! Service was spectacular! We completely had a grand time here. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends & family. I loved it. We had a total of 3 slices of cheese cake. 1 we ate @ the testurany restaurant & 2 we took home. Delicious!

I was looking so much to our visit here , but frankly , food wise it was a bust. The positives: setting is impressive, service is attentive and friendly. Food is the issue. Caesar salad , hideous, could barely eat it, drenched in whatever their dressing concoction is, with some stale croutons sprinkled on top. I had the bone in filet, so salty!! my husband had the prime rib, salty as well. The only tasty thing in the meal were the asparagus, who would have thought! Sorry, but look for another steak place in Philly!

Had a nice family dinner here during restaurant week. Great service, nice ambiance, good food. Overall a great time!

We visited on Friday 11th April, superb staff superb service , the aged steak was suggested by the waiter and it did not disappoint. The accompanying mash taters and crispy onion rings were cosmic ! Out of this world. The wine list was substantial without being overwhelming, and a nice merlot completely complemented the beef. Cooked to perfection I cannot fault anything and will go back and would certainly be happy to recommend this place to my friends and family for a great night out , located in a former banking establishment the setting and decor are wonderful too.

I have been wanting to try Del Frisco's for the past year and I finally went. It definitely lived up to my expectations. Our waiter, Damon, was so amazing. If you make reservations you should definitely request him! The cheesesteak egg rolls were so good I devoured them in seconds. I had the caesar salad, 8 ounce filet, mashed potatoes, and a side of lobster mac and cheese. Everything was out of this world. The steak was so easy to cut into and cooked to perfection. had so much extra food to bring home. I also loved the old bank atmosphere. I can't wait to come back soon!

My husband and I attempted to dine at Del Friscos at the Philadelphia location on 8/12/22. However, he was racially profiled first by the hostess and then by the manager. Their excuse was that his shirt was a “white t-shirt”, which it was not. The security guard confirmed with my husband and the hostess that the shirt was pale pink. Due to the lighting in the establishment, I understand how that could have initially been the case. My husband told the manger he could shine light on his shirt to verify the color. Instead, he was met with the manager offering to give him a shirt, which was absolutely insulting. My husband and I have have patronized this establishment for many years and never encountered such a thing. We were turned away not because of the color of his shirt, but because of the color of our skin.

The atmosphere is quietly elegant. I had fun imagining what it would have been like to come there when it was a bank! It was not at all pretentious. The service was very good, and the food was actually worth the money. The cheesesteak "balls" were awesome. And the Blood Orange Manhattan is my new favorite drink!

We have been to Del Frisco's a few times. First the atomsphere is awesome. It's an old Bank with much of the original stuff still there (huge vult downstairs). Probably one of the best "dirty martini's" I have ever had. The food is alwasy very tasty and with a great presentation. I would most definately recommend especially for "Happy Hour". Fantastic bar apps and great drinks. Will definately go again the next time we are in the city.

Del Frisco’s was open on thanksgiving and had a thanksgiving day dinner on the menu. My wife and I were not disappointed. The turkey was juicy, the sweet potatoes were creamy and tasty, the stuffing was awesome and the pumpkin cheesecake was great.

Loved the vibe of the restaurant which seems to be in an old bank. Arrived early and had the best pomegranate Mohito at the bar before get seated. The food was delicious and inventive and the space is a simply must try. Excellent service and food! Will be back

I've been here for a dinner just after reopened for the indoor dining during the pandemic. The location is amazing, the staff is very careful and kind, providing a good service. I had a tomahawk wagyu steak with creamy spinach and a dessert, the food was good.

We had a reservation for 4 and arrived and were seated within 5 minutes. It was quite crowded. The atmosphere and architecture are amazing. It was an old bank. We were seated on the first floor. Service was great as well as the food. I had the salmon and the rest of my party had steak which they said was delicious. The lobster bisque was very good with chunks of lobster. The desserts were also great. The bar area was big and very busy. I would definitely return.

Went with 3 couples to celebrate a 50ty birthday. We all order their “sampler” (each feeds 2 person). Steaks we’re over cook, lobsters were dry and they need up up the orders. Definitely not worth for over $350 per couple. The only good thing, their butter cake.

First off it is an amazing space. Vast, spacious and beautiful. Check out the back (upstairs) bar too. Wonderful steaks and the sides are best in any steak house I've been to. And talk to Scott - the wine dude - and he'll steer you right. Tip: Look for restaurant week and get a reservation then - great meal at a better price.

Great location and food with very smart atmosphere. Service should be better according with the restaurant, and show more kind and supportive.

The building is wonderful. A work of art. The food was good, I had the scallops my wife had the Salmon. They were well prepared. The restaurant had the mass produced, chain restaurant environment. Not the fine dining that would someone expect for the price you pay. We saw servers pick up towels from the floor and place them back on the table. You have people walking around with the notepads tracking what you were doing when you are leaving. The Carpet at some spots was worn and had holes. We set upstairs but downstairs seemed to be a sports bar environment. it was my wive's Bday, which we mentioned. In the past when they brought the desert they had something special, a candle, or happy Bday on the plate. This time nothing of that. We have been to Dell Frisco's a few times for special occasions, this time did not receive the feel of the high end/fine dining that you should expect.

Read the reviews, read their dress code, fell for the hype. The only saving grace was the staff who tried to uphold some sense of class and high standards as are perceived due to their advertising. However, this is nothing but a overpriced glorified Philly sports bar masquerading as fine dining. From the jackwagons at the bar yelling for the bartender and their vocabulary which mainly consisted of "a####le" and making rude comments to the total lack of dress code enforcement as people were being seated in printed t-shirts, baseball caps, hoodies pulled over their heads and pants worn down around their asses as if it were still 2010. The food was lackluster and base at best. We honestly make better octopus and steaks at home. Once again, the only saving grace was the staff. Never again.

We shared a bunch of apps recently for a birthday celebration with friends. The lobster Mac and cheese, shrimp, and Del’s salad were delish. The cheesesteak egg rolls were to die for!! Drinks were flowing, nice variety and recommend a 90s cosmo! Yummy!

Absolutely amazing. I had been here several months ago with friends and was BLOWN AWAY but the stunning decor and amazing food. We brought my parents during restaurant week 2 weeks ago because they're not big spenders, but still we were treated like royalty. Our waiter Jeffrey was top-notch, first class all the way, yet so friendly and treated us like we were his best customers. My parents just went on and on about the experience. Our food was to die for, the interior design just awesome, the service the best around. And the vault...a must-see! If you want to impress, take your guest to Del Friscos. We even got a thank you note from them! LOVE this restaurant, my new favorite in all of Philly. Can't wait to go back!

Overall I am a huge fan of Del Frisco's. This location was not up to the standards I have come to expect. The building itself is an old bank and quite beautiful. The restaurant was cold. I saw a number of people comment on that. We had a birthday that night, and the wind blowing down on the table kept blowing out the candles. The Service was outstanding. I order a strip steak. I was given a rib eye. When I questioned it, the person delivering the steak, looked at it and then stated no its a strip steak. Well rib eyes are too fatty and make me sick later. When I got sick later. I should have pushed back more. So I own some of the fault here. At the same time, I did question the person delivering the steak. This was not a great experience. Which is why I gave it a 3 star. Had many meals at the Ruth Chris down the street that were amazing.

Save your money and then GO HERE AND SPEND IT! We went to Europe in the summer of 2019, traveled to 4 countries and the best meal I have ever eaten in my life, was right here at Del Friscos in Philadelphia. Their cocktails are insane as well. It is VERY pricey, but to go here once a year and treat yourself is highly recommended.

Everything was delicious and the staff was amazing. Thank you for making our anniversary special! We were always being checked on and did not have to wait long for anything. Food was delicious and the restaurant was beautiful. Thank you for making our night out special!

Terrible experience. We had 5:00 reservation for a birthday dinner of 10 people. We were kept at thw bar for 40 minutes. After third attempt trying to be seated, our friend spoke to the manager, who decided not to seat us at all, because he claimed our friend was "rude " to one of his employees. We eat in Philly all the time,it's a first time we had this terrible experience. Manager was Obnoxious. We felt totally discriminated, because we speak English with an accent .Manager tryed to humiliate us.But we left and went to restaurant Steak 48,werre we had absolutely wonderful experience. I don't recommend people to go to Del Friesco Philadelphia.

We took a few teens to this restaurant thinking it might be too fancy but it wasn’t (although note that hoodies are not allowed so dress appropriately). Highly suggest sharing - we had 5 people and ordered two salads, rib eye and salmon, a few sides and two desserts and it was more than enough for all. Great drinks and beautiful atmosphere ( we sat upstairs- not sure what the downstairs looks Like) with the high, beautiful ceilings and great bar

The place is amazing. Wine cellar is a work of art. The vault is a must see. The food is excellent. Cheesesteak egg rolls and octopus were great starters. The dry aged ribeye melted in my mouth. Would highly recommend.

We went here two days in a row. The first night was for dinner and we had Jameela as our server. She was spot on for the entire night. She was always there at the right time without seeming to hover. She made great recommendations and was great to interact with. Then there was the food. I personally had one of the best meals to date with the medallion meal. The rest of the group had their order delivered as ordered and were happy with their meals. The second night we went for desert and had Ashley as our server. She did a great job as well and was also doing the bar work. She didn’t let us down either. As a bonus Jameela walked by and recognized us. We chatted with her again and ended a great night with a second great evening. This place has the customer experience down to a science and they have a great staff that cares about the overall experience. We will definitely be back and will be asking for either the f these two lady’s when we arrive. I highly recommend this location for great food, better service and ambiance to die for!

This was our first visit since the pandemic and boy were we disappointed. The $199 for two prix-fixe seemed like a good deal so we tried it. The meatballs were over-cooked and too salty, the latter quickly became a theme. We both had the filet and the strip combo for our main course. The strip was a TERRIBLE cut of beef- chewy, full of gristle and over-seasoned. The filet was tender but of course too salty. Even the masked potatoes were over-salted, and I like salt! Sadly the dessert (cheesecake) was the highlight of the dinner. Such a beautiful space (prettiest in the city); so sad to see what has happened to their food.

Can I just say-HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Part of large large group 40th Bday celebration on 10/14/22. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:40p and left at 11:30p-first problem-significant delays in preparation and delivery of the food. Additionally VIRTUALLY NO communication from the waitstaff on any delays. Yes we were a large party orginally book for 16 that grew to 25. Yes we needed 2 additionally tables. GREAT more revenue for your business and staff! No to Del Friscso's Management-OH NO-we'll make them wait, and we will not tell them it's our policy to ALWAYS BRING ALL the food out together-even when your customers ask you to bring it out as the food becomes ready-related to dietary and religious concerns. NOT Del Frisco's!! So what the solutions when 2-$100 steaks dinners are cold-Well Del Fresco's says you still have to pay!!! and we will slide it on your bill, and act like we didn't hear you say TAKE IT OFF THE BILL!! Horrible customer service. Really STAY AWAY!! Issues: *Food delayed-over 1 hour from order to table *Food was mixed up-customers had to sort out *lack of communication from waitstaff regards delays *inattentive waitstaff-3 tables -and 2 orders of bread-never asked for refills *never apologized and thought it was ok. *attempted to make this writer pay for cold food that was requested to be re-cooked Can I just say...GO to OCEANS PRIME-maybe they understand what CUSTOMER SERVICE is!!! NOT just following policies!!

Major disappointment. Steaks were smothered in pepper or peppercorn…. So much that I thought I was being pranked. Service was very poor. We spent $255 and saw the server 3 times total- no drink refills, nothing. Recent reviews about poor service are 100% correct. We could have had this dinner at Longhorns and had a better result. This place is supposed to be top of the line and was subpar.

Warning to anyone considering this place ⚠️ It’s been over two years since my visit, and to add insult to injury, the restaurant acted like someone would follow up with me — but they never did. That lack of accountability speaks louder than words. On the night of my visit, I had a reservation for a special evening with my wife. We showed up on time, but were left waiting 24 minutes while others who arrived later were seated within minutes. The waiting area was filled with confusion and half-hearted apologies. When we were finally seated, our server was distracted, unfriendly, and dismissive. At this price point, I’ve had far warmer, more professional service at casual spots that cost a fraction of the price. To make things worse, the sampler we ordered included a lobster tail that was rotten — the smell alone made it inedible. When I politely flagged this to our server, his response was a shrug, “whatever you want,” and then he rushed away like we were bothering him. What makes this whole experience even more unacceptable is that I was led to believe someone from the restaurant would follow up. They never did. That tells me they don’t value their customers or care to make things right. I’ve shared this story with at least 25 people already and will continue to warn others until I’m acknowledged. If you’re considering this restaurant, think carefully — my experience was not just disappointing, it was insulting.

Cocktails were great...service was great...apps were great...our steaks were not great. For the extremely high price we paid we got ribeye steaks that were about 3/4 inch thick and heavily salted on a plate without any garnish to at least make it more appealing. As soon as the plates were put in front of us there was a look of disappointment on everyone’s face. Will not return.

Four of went and all agreed the food and service were amazing. The Uptown Dels potato was huge and perhaps the favorite of us all, which sound odd since this is a steak house, but it was that good. I almost gave this place a 4 star rating tho, because the wine list is stupid expensive.

Great for a romantic dinner. The restaurant is in an old bank and it is beautiful inside. My wife had the filet and I had filet medallions. The food was delicious. My wife’s steak was a little undercooked at first, but they have you cut into it to double check when it comes to the table. It was quickly taken back and cooked to her liking. The ambiance, food and scenery was incredible but you will pay for it.

I cannot say enough about the service we received from Brittany this past Saturday night. We dined on the main level and although the restaurant was busy the pace of service never felt rushed. She did a wonderful job of highlighting the various options and accompaniments, showing excellent first hand knowledge of the offerings. The entire service team worked together like a well oiled machine to ensure that we did not want for anything throughout the two hour meal. The beef carpaccio was served with a lovely salad and parmesan shavings, but the real stand out from the appetizer menu was the calamari which was lightly breaded and fried, then presented with bamboo shoots and chopped peanuts, topped with the most delectable spicy chili sauce. The Alaskan king crab was the perfect compliment to the petite filet, and served with an indulgent truffle butter. I feared I would have to sit out dessert after so much indulgence but the gooey butter cake and chocolate souffle cake are somewhat unmissable in their own right. The effortless, friendly, yet unobtrusive service is what I will remember and return for. Bravo to all and special thanks to Brittany for facilitating the perfect night out.

Took advantage of Restaurant Week by taking the train in for an early dinner. We were seated right away, very attentive wait staff, drinks were delicious but pricey (Center City), steak was done perfectly and melted in my mouth, my wife's crab cakes were almost all lump crab meat and perfectly seasoned, mousse and cheesecake were scrumptious, after dinner cappuccino was very small and pricey (again Center City) but good. Did not walk away stuffed but feeling like I had a good meal in a very nice restaurant. This is an old bank and we ate in one of the vaults. If you don't drink, don't get coffee, you can get away with the $35 per person but be prepared for those naughty little extras that will jack your bill up. Still a great night out.

Very overpriced and beef mid level quality at best. Everything was so salty you honestly couldn’t enjoy the food, and the beef was tough/flavorless. My filet was easily only 1/2 inch thick and just coated in salt. Service was ok but a lot of up selling. Prices are outrageous for the food quality. We will be heading back to Butcher and Singer.

This was my first visit to any del frisco. It won’t be my last. This place is FABULOUS!!!! From the moment you walk in. It get it, it’s expensive but is worth every penny!!! The steaks are absolutely wonderful! Give it a try!!!

A very good steak house with a very large wine selection. One of Philly’s best but falling behind a couple of others in the same vicinity Food is great, best restaurant bar, and fine service. You won’t be disappointed.

It was my husbands birthday while we are in this shelter at house order The meal was great. We got two steaks, mac and cheese asparagus. We had a nice b day dinner at home (ps just double check the bag to make sure all items are there) I highly recommend their curb side service, Thank you

Restaurant Week is the time to go to Del Frisco's. You get the Del Frisco's excellent hospitality and high-quality steakhouse fare for a great value. Even though it was very busy, we had a great experience. Service was friendly and prompt and our steaks were cooked to our desired temperature (medium-rare). They have a superb wine list; I was able to order a local Riesling for example. I left my umbrella upstairs and didn't have to fetch it myself; the hostess went upstairs to get it for me. I'd go back anytime!

I want to say the evening spent with a mix of business colleagues and partners was a success largely because of the place that was chosen: Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse. Once there it was about the food, but you have to work with the people there before the food. I want to call out the work of our server: Michael Herrman. What a wonderfully engaging person. He kept us well-informed and super relaxed. All of his recommendations were spot on. As I have heard in three months you may not remember the meal you had but you will remember the service and ours was truly next level. thanks, Mike!

Although the food is very good and portions generous, prices are noteworthy (on the high side) and our "witty" waiter wasn't half as clever as he thought he was and wasn't very efficient either. How long can it take to get glasses of water to a table? As if he were auditioning for a show, his performance wasn't appreciated and, in fact, was intrusive, detracting from conversation at a business lunch.

the converted back creates a great atmosphere. very nice bar while we waited. had an event in the old vault. quality of food didn't suffer with the limited menu. was a great event

Great dinner before a concert. Get the cheesesteak egg rolls OMG they are the bomb. Shareable but you won’t want to once you taste them Good wine selection and fun atmosphere

Del Frisco's came highly recommended by friends so we stopped by one evening for drinks and dessert. We were impressed from the moment we entered the restaurant. Del Frisco's is housed in a repurposed bank with mile high sculpted ceilings, a two-story wine tower and artistic ironwork. The restaurant had dining on three levels - main, balcony and the vault in the basement. We sat at the bar and had drinks and desert. The bartenders were willing to share some of the history of the building in addition to their primary duties, which was much appreciated. Can't wait for our next trip to Philly, will definitely make reservations and tryout the menu.

This is a great location for a business dinner! Mike H., Danielle M., and Aleksandra T. were a great team to work with. I had a large party of over 30 and they handled us with ease and professionalism from beginning drinks to after dinner cocktails. The thick-cut Neuske's bacon au poivre is the BEST! Great location, great food, great architecture!

Positives: Ambiance, bread Neg: I asked for a steak well done, when it came out the “first time” the meat was still kicking. It was pink and bloody inside, however the outside was pretty dark. The sides, whipped mash and Mac and cheese was cold. I sent that back ans well. After waiting almost an hour for our food. Sent the steak back and it was still pink. The waiter asked if I wanted any pink, I said no I asked for the steak well done. The manager at this point brings out the food and finally after the third time it came out cooked. The flavor was ok, I ended up adding salt and pepper. Then at this point my sides were cold again. Then I ordered a drink and he forgot it. He was nice to take off the drink, however after sending the steak back twice and having to wait extra, we definitely should have been compensated. My babes steak was pink as well, after sending his back too, but because he doesn’t complain or speak up like me he ended up trying to eat around it. The experience was not good. Especially driving an hour on Valentine’s Day.

Our evening was a little rocky at the start. After speaking to the hostess who then sent John the General Manager to speak with us things quickly changed. There was a bit of a wait for an upstairs table but well worth the wait. Our server Chrissy attended to every need before we ever had to ask. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and his attention to detail was incredible. Members of the management team checked on us regularly and all support staff was diligent, professional and friendly. We were choosing wine for our table and my daughter who has training in wine was reviewing the menu. Chrissy asked if we would like to speak to the Sommelie. Which we always take advantage of when the person is available. Scott came over to the table and began to speak with us (my daughter) about the wines on the list. In fact, Scott knew my daughter's wine professor well. He spent at least a half-hour speaking with us and provided an excellent pairing for our dinner. The food was unbelievably delicious and the ambiance is one of luxury and comfort. The quality of service is off the charts and worth every penny. I highly recommend this restaurant and will most definitely return next time I am in Philly. Thank-you to Chrissy, John, and Scott for making our evening special.

From the moment you walk through the door you know you are in for a fabulous experience. The ambience is incredible. The service is spectacular. Our server Brianna predicted our every need. She was professional and friendly. The food as always was scrumptious. The steak is perfectly made. The temperatures were spot on. The sides were delicious. We were given a tour of the vault. It was a wonderful experience. The entire staff was great.

We dined here Friday after Thanksgiving ( as if one big meal isnt enough, right?) for a couple’s night away from everyday life. The server made our evening special and everything was superb. Thank you for sharing your hospitality and culinary skills with us. Food was top notch, wine was a symphony of tastes and beautiful melodies in our mouth, waiter and attendants were professional and attentive, atmosphere was unique and powerful. We appreciated your service. Thank you again.

this review is for the new del frisco's grille located on south broad street....since there is not yet a listing for the grille i will review it here.....very impressive atmosphere...from the glass windows to the romantically lit interior this place is grand on a not too casual scale....so many people work here...and since it was not a busy week night they were all standing around waiting for something to do...the bar area was busy and noisy but began to filter out about 8pm...of course the selection of beverages is substantial although they did not carry a particular whiskey we requested....our server was busy listing all of the details of the menu but we had already decided and she seemed a little let down when we didn't order any of her suggestions...my salad and fries were good but the chicken wing lollipops were so tight they tasted as if they went from the freezer straight to a beautiful presentation...my partner asked if his burger could be reordered because it was cold and when the burger arrived the second time it was brought to our table by a big bouncer type gentleman who may have been the manager...his comment would have been almost intimidating if we really cared....upon leaving three young men entered and left right away...their comment upon my questioning them was...it's dead in here we are going to the other one because it's better.....well!

While I didn’t dine there that evening, my experience was as good as at can be because of the the fine personal service process by Derek. His care, consideration and professionalism is second none. However, he still finds time to relate to patrons, including me. When he had some time, he appreciated my involved in the past and was supportive. They have a fine selection of both food and wine and you won’t be disappointed!

Had dinner here and definitely would not return. Don’t put heirloom tomato salad on the menu and give me a couple grape tomatoes and one quartered tomato from Acme. Filet special was ok at best, very disappointing meal.

Service was amazing but to pay almost 300 for some food that wasn’t anywhere near good is insane it was rushed and the food wasn’t made with any love

So, let me start by saying I've been to many Del locations and have ALWAYS had a great experience. I've been to the Philadelphia location at least 20 times. BUT, this time was horrible and I'm sick of bad service and marginal food being blamed on COVID. Since there were more than 4 of us, we were forced to have a narrow private room. Yes, Mayor Kenney is a fascist, so I understand why we were forced to be in the room. The restaurant and bar were ghost towns due to a 9:00 PM city curfew and that is certainly not DF's fault. It was sad to see for such a normally vibrant bar/restaurant. Let's start with salads: Tomato and Burrata....tomatoes were not ripe. How do they even let it go out to the table?? Oysters: simply inedible. They were almost non-existent in the shell and the flavor was off. Entrees: Lamb chops were a joke. Two of the skimpiest chops I've ever seen. AND, for the money, they were a total rip off. The trio filets were tough and not cooked to temperature. Funny enough, my 8 0z. Filet was perfect...but I was the host, so it sucked that my guests' meals were sub par. We weren't offered desserts and I've never been to a Del location where dessert was not offered and it has always been comped...even when I've had a great experience. The waiter did not bring any of our concerns up to management. He even neglected to remove the inedible oysters from our check. No manager stopped by our table at any time to check on us. We spent over $1300 with wine and tip in an empty restaurant. Were they too busy to check on us? As we were leaving, a manager asked how everything was when we were standing at the exit. I told him our experience and his response was, "Wow, I'm surprised." No, "Let me make it up to you with gift cards, etc.". NOTHING. Not a GD word beyond the fact that he was surprised. So, GOODBYE Del Frisco's, HELLO Butcher and Singer.

We tried this Center City establishment for a second time. While the former banking halls of the First Pennsylvania Banking Company are impressive, the noise is unbearable. The service is pedestrian, and the food is mediocre at best. The steaks were tough, and the crab cake unimaginative. There will not be a third time.

I have eaten at Del Frisco's in Philly about 8 times in the last 5 years. There always seems to be an issue with the clientele but last weekend was the end of the line for me. I have to say first that our server was great, so no issue with service. So it's Saturday night, we have reservations for some people coming into town, they seat us down in the vault, and I am telling you, there are people there who look like they were dressed to clean out their garage as opposed to eating at a $150/person steakhouse. In fact, there were people all over the restaurant who looked like they were just off the street. The coupe de grace was one person who brought their blanket with them! I am done with Del Frisco's. just too much, better places in Philly for the money.

We walked from Convention Center so no issue with parking. Cavernous building that used to be a bank. Noise level can be very high. Nice bar and drink selections. We were seated up on the second floor. After we placed our orders including the specials (three steaks with 3 different toppings) they served warm bread. Maybe they were short staffed that night but it took a good while to get the appetizers and salads. The steaks came beautifully presented and more importantly cooked just right. This was one of the best filet mignon I have had and I have had my share. Among the side dishes: mashed potatoes and lobster mac and cheese were notable. We shared desserts family style: berries and cream, sorbet, pineapple upside down cake, hazelnut choco crunch bar, banana bread pudding, lemon cake and cheesecake. None of them were especially unique.

Located in an old bank and its luxurious interior reminds you that your wallet will take a serious hit. The menu was quite extensive, heavily leaning towards steaks. The wine list was the most extensive that I have seen anywhere. Staff were excellent and the steaks were absolute perfection. What I liked most about this establishment was that they were open to suggestions from their clients, so you didn't necessarily have to stick rigidly to the menu. Most high-end restaurants refuse to do this, so major kudos to the chefs. Having parted with a lot of cash, one question remained...was it worth it? Answer: Absolutely!!!

My sister and I went for restaurant week tonight. Well first of all the filet Mignon steak was under then over cooked. They seemed to had heated my entire plate and the mash potatoes were brown on top and were very salty. When I asked to speak to the manager he waited until I was leaving to come and speak with me. And stated that I ate the steak which I did not consume the whole steak nor did I eat the potatoes. This is because as the steak cooled off it got tuff and became crispy on top. Ugh I was so annoyed when he tried to tell me that he couldn't do anything after I ate the steak then he said I packaged it up to take home. I begged his pardon and explained that my sister put hers in a take out not me and he still tried to make it seem like I was looking for a hand out. Never again will I step foot in there. The only thing that was good was the warm bread and butter and the cold water.

Awesome venue, service and food! Highly recommend reservations, take your time with drinks, appetizers, entres. Venue is in a former bank with large granite columns and staircase with 3-story wine rack! Venture downstairs for restooms and see adjacent a private room inside former bank vault. Steaks are the main choice, but seafood and others excellent. Octupus app was very meaty and very tasty!

We were a large party of about 20 guests in celebration of our daughter’s college graduation so we had a private dining room. Ambience is nice and waiters were great, attentive and patient. I personally loved their lobster Mac and cheese, cheesesteak dumplings and dessert. My steak was a bit dry but not too bad. Food was overall good and I believe most of our guests enjoyed their dishes and drinks.

Great service, great food, great environment!! I could cut my steak with a fork. Will definitely return!!

Before I review the restaurant, a few notes this restaurant is fine dining and pricey so if you are looking for a bargain go elsewhere. Beautiful decor, great service, most of all best steak I have ever had three 4oz fillets each dressed differently creamed spinach sautéed mushrooms. Capriccio appetizer fantastic . Drinks plenty full, wine list massive. Only thing if you are a philadelphia and know what german butter cake is don’t order the butter cake its good but not what you would expect of butter cake.

Just celebrated my son's 23ird birthday at Del Friscos. Although my Del Salad was a bit drab... a little brown-edged lettuce and whole bacon strips a bit unwieldy. The steaks, lobster mac n' cheese, and Brussel sprouts were stellar. Our server, Peter was outstanding - knowledgable, attentive (without being cloying) and extremely helpful. A surprise dessert to celebrate my son's birthday was a lovely gesture. Truly a memorable meal!

Great place to dine. Delicious food very attentive waitstaff and nice decor. Be prepared to wait a long time even with a reservation ours was an hour overdue. Bar is too crowded to get a seat to wait and no real waiting area. Check in area was so crowded no place to even stand. If you can get past the inconveniences it’s worth the wait.

We ate here recently and it took forever to get our food. It was extremely busy so I will give them a pass on that. I ordered the lamb done medium but it was rare and cool. The waiter was fantastic and he made up for the poor cooking. The cocktails were fantastic and the overall experience was good.

there was 5 people in our group. The wait staff explained the menu with the best suggestions. Our meals were served in a timely manner and prepared as requested. Atmosphere was good and the three story wine rack was awesome.

Haven't been here in years but this was truly a bad experience. The steaks were just okay if that, not flavorful at all, the atmosphere playing loud Beyonce and Christina Aguilera like you're in a club (not even Christmas songs) along with the football games on and a hunting show while eating at a high-end restaurant is not acceptable. Our $350+ dinner was not worth it at all as far as the taste of the food and the atmosphere.

This is one the best steakhouses I have been to. Steaks were cooked perfectly and very tender and flavorful. Since there are steps leading to the seating area they have a lift that accommodates wheelchairs. The onion ring appetizer was really excellent. Huge rings and yet still tasted sweet. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars was the length of time between finishing the appetizer and the mail course. It was over 20 minutes. I was just ready to get up to find our server to ask about our food when the meal showed up. One of us had the fish dinner and they said it was very good. We were a party of 6.

Used to be that Del Frisco's was a perfect spot for a celebration, birthday, anniversary etc., however, it has now become nothing special. I am not a snob. but if you're gonna pay $1,000 for a dinner for five, than you would expect a certain level of sophistication, not the majority of people dressed in jeans and sneakers on a Saturday night. I can't explain it, but this creates a certain level of moderation. The food is about the same but considerably overpriced but typically, I wouldn't care. Sorry guys, you are no longer a go too spot for a celebration dinner.

PROS: The steaks are excellent in flavor and, in most cases, quality (about 25% of mine was gristle, but it was so huge and filling I did not complain). The toppings offered, though expensive, are also quite good. Vegetables are served family style, and the portions are generous. The service was impeccable: attentive without being invasive. Likewise, we were continually met with a cheery attitude; the servers really contributed to a good experience. The building it is in is an old bank and the has huge, high ceilings; it is truly beautiful. Finally, the wine list is exceptionally impressive - the list of offerings is varied, interesting, and wonderful. CONS: My steak and a companion's steak were way underdone; we wanted medium rare, but the middles were rawish/cool. Granted, we were asked if we were satisfied, and offered the opportunity to send them back for more grilling. I have tried that before at other locations, and it generally results in a rubber tire coming back. Furthermore, having toppings put on each, it just would not have been a good scene. So, we muddled through. I am surprised as all the steak are quite thick, but consistently thick, so I would think it more likely to get it "right," if making steaks of exact same thickness and quality all the time. ?.? Either way, it was still excellent in flavor!! (just had to ignore the volume of blood and raw sensation of middle part). The HVAC is set up that air blows directly on each diner - we all left quite chilled (do bring a sweater or heavy jacket, as you are continually under pretty aggressive "wind" that is quite cold).

Went on Saturday night with great anticipation and it did not disappoint. Our waiter Peter was outstanding along with the general overall service. We were seated on the 2nd level in the grand old bank building and the ambience was perfect. All 3 in our party had steaks - 2 had filet and 1 had the prime ribeye. All were cooked to perfection. Side dishes were delish - potatoes at gratin and Brussels sprouts. Dinner was topped off with a shared dessert of butter cake and the chocolate hazelnut bar. Yes - it’s very very expensive but we found it worth the visit.

Great meal, steak cooked to perfection. Large portions for sides and apps. Wagyu meatball app was interesting and good. Service was great as well. The location was interesting, looked like an old bank.

started with the seafood tray for 2 and shared for 4 then steaks and 1 had lobster.. 22 once lobster tail.. food was awesome.

It was my first visit and I didn’t know what to expect. It’s located in Center City so be prepared for expensive parking. The parking garage is around the corner. The atmosphere was great. The building is an old bank vault. The decor was very nice. The staff greets you as soon as you walk through the door. We had the cheesesteak dumplings and they were exceptional. Our waiter suggested the Lobster Mac and Cheese and it did not disappoint. We didn’t have room for dessert after eating the tender ribeye. We will be back soon!

Planned a night away in Philly for wife's birthday. Doing it right, staying at the Ritz and dinner at Del Frisco. Wife picked this place, and while I wanted Butcher and Singer, was her birthday, so went to Del Frisco's. Arrived a bit early, and the place was buzzing. Our table wasn't ready, and while crowded, was able to find a seat at the bar. The restaurant is in an old bank, and the space is amazing. Grand ceilings and large marble columns. Beautiful. we were seated in a reasonable time, and while not requested, we were seated upstairs, which was perfect. Downstairs would have been so loud, would have been difficult for a conversation. The table was quaint and overlooked the restaurant, a great table. we started with the cheesesteak dumplings, and they are amazing. I could have had those all night, and unfortunately, would have been a better meal. Yes, the meal peaked with the appetizers. Next ordered a bottle wine, a common Stags Leap, expensive but not crazy. It's my wife's favorite. The waiter comes back after a while, and informs us they are out of the wine. They offered another brand, and while more expensive, would give for same price. Really no option, so went ahead with it. Th cork was dry, and broke aprat as he tried to pull. He struggled, but somehow didn't get any cork in bottle. The wine turned out to be good, especially after it aired for while, but it wasn't Stags Leap. we ordered the Wagyu Tomohawk steak for two. It's an expensive steak, but again wife's birthday. The server not the waiter brings the steak, and it is clearly over-cooked. we told the server, and he shined a light on the steak, and essentially said it was fine. Know, we know steak and we know medium rare, and this was medium all the way. The waiter shows up shortly after, and we again told him the issue, and he acknowledges it is over-cooked, and says he will talk with manager. He leaves, with the impression he is taking care of this with manager. After about five minutes, he is no where to be seen, the sides are getting cold, and the wine is being drank. we made the decision not to waste the night, and ate the steak. It's Wagyu, so even though overcokked, was still good, but not the great steak we were expecting. Waiter doesn't show back until we are done, and table is cleared. Since informed was wife's birthday in Open Table, he brings a free dessert. He doesn't ask what we want, just shows up with what is probably their standard comp dessert. No offer of coffee either. Dessert again was decent, but not what my wife would have wanted. He comes back with check, and I tell him I am unhappy about steak. He again apologizes, and says his fault, as he never told manager. Waiter goes way, and comes back five minutes later, and essentially removes the cost of the steak. Normally, I would be happy with such an offer, but everything missed the mark of the night. Was not the wine we want, steak was overcooked, dessert was not what we wanted, and no coffee. I had high expectations, given the night, and Del Frisco came up short on in almost all areas. should have had second order of cheesesteak dumplings. I always ask myself would I go back or recommend. This would be a solid no.

I’ve eaten at all the top steakhouses and my dinner at Del Frisco’s was the best steak dinner I’ve had. Thank you for great service, ambiance and most importantly the perfectly cooked steaks.

My wife and I celebrated her 63rd birthday tonight at Del Frisco’s. Things could not have been better. We had a warm greeting at the front door. The service at our table was five star+. Dan, Erica and Alex made our night very special. Prompt, friendly and caring service!!! We started the night with the VIP drink special. Fantastic!!! The wine selection is very good. The wine service was even better. All 3 servers plus others took very good care of us to make sure our glasses were filled to the level we desired. We loved our meals. The sea bass and the three steak medallions were delicious. We also shared a Caesar salad. Our drinks, salads, and entree were timed perfectly. The venue is gorgeous. This is converted bank to a beautiful restaurant. They don’t make buildings like this anymore. To top off the evening they provided a complementary birthday dessert for my wife. Wow!!! Very nice touch. Enjoy. We did...

There can't be enough said about this place and the staff that we interacted with. We have always loved the architecture and food, but Saturday night 12/16/2023 we sat at the bar and had one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in a long long time. The professionalism and attention the staff gave us was exceptional. Denise, Lucy, McKenzie and Mynor was all amazing and should be well taken care of by management.

Tooo. Salty. Period it was not as good as manhattan. Maybe just wrong night. I hope it improves. The cuts are nowhere near as good as manhattan

Went here with my husband. Sure- a bit loud- but you get used to it. This must have been an old bank with the lofted ceiling. FOOD WAS GREAT- yes and bring your AMEX. The VIP martini is always great. I had the steak with three different toppings- so wonderful. He had the lamb. And ended dinner with port. Dont go here if you want to pinch pennies... service was great. So great for dinner, and great for a classy bar scene. Wonderful service- be sure to make a reservation.

Service was outstanding, the steaks were delicious (i recommend getting the wagyu), the drinks were refeshing and overall a great experience.

One of the most impressive buildings in the city of Philadelphia. Originally designed as a bank (ask the staff about the history - fascinating) and now features a great bar as the center of the main dining area. Matt made us some incredible drinks while we waited for our table. The wine selection is top notch and there are several sommeliers on staff to help choose a great pairing. There are also great private dining area for small or large groups. The wagyu beef tasting dish features 3 kinds and is a must try. The NY strip was perfectly cooked and is coated with a nice seasoning. The sea bass was very good as well. We will be returning for the food, but more for the service and friendliness of the staff!

A place worth mentioning that offers an excellent selection of "Steak" and seafood... and a most interesting wine cellar! Whether for Wagyu beef... the famous Tomahawk and other regular and aged cuts! Then comes the choice of wine... which is declined to us in several varieties and origins (California... France... Italy... New Zealand) and this is not counting the bubbles

My sister, friend and I went for Restaurant Week! Food was delicious. Service was impeccable. Ambiance beautiful. Will definitely come back with my husband. Even though It was a prefixed meal, I was stuffed!

I ‘ve been to Del Friscos many times. The Philadelphia location in the former Bank Building is my favorite. In my opinion, its the best steakhouse in the city! It looks amazing inside. The service is always the best in the city at the highest level. The steaks and sides are always very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The deserts are excellent. The bar area is just amazing with great drinks, Its one of the best restaurants in Philly. You won’t be disappointed. I rate it as 5 stars+.

We had a large party for dinner, and frankly were disappointed at the quality of the food and service. This is particularly true when viewed in the context of the prices they charge. Appetizers were probably the best part of the meal. Entrée temperatures were all over the place - my prime strip was supposed to be medium rare but was medium; someone else's bone-in prime rib was supposed to be medium rare but was decidedly rare. A steakhouse should be spot on with entrée temperatures. The salmon was also undercooked. Sides were just ok - nothing noteworthy. Service was slow, and not so attentive. The prices are on the high side, even for steakhouses. Much better options are available.

Went for the first time with a group of co-workers right before Christmas. The service, the food and the drinks were great. My favorite drink is their VIP (Pineapple Martini) - Must try it. Will definitely go back soon.

Celebrated NYE at Del Friscos with great friends! Our server John E. was OUTSTANDING!!! It was super busy in there and he did not miss a beat. Thanks for making our dinner experience amazing. Steaks are always delicious! Lobster Mac was excellent. Can't forget the cocktails and dessert!! What a way to end the New year. We will definitely be back 2020!

A wonderful experience. We hadn't dined here for a few years (thanks COVID) and hadn't been in Center City for a while. But we were here for a show and wanted to make it a special evening, so we went to Del Frisco. We were not disappointed. Everything was perfect, particularly my wife's salmon (it melted in her mouth) to my rib eye which was cooked perfectly and every piece was wonderful. The service was attentive. All in all, glad we came back.

As soon as we got there, a warm hostess showed us to our table with a big smile. The restaurant itself is so elegant and classy, it was an old bank with a high ceiling and red drapes. That burnt red color complements the sleek blacks well. Very classy! First off, we got the Clam Chowder. very appetizing, traditional, very creamy soup. And now I am a fan! Our main entree was the Top Shelf Cheesesteak and that was delicious, juicy shaved Filet Mignon, truffle mushrooms, gooey American cheese, and griddled thin onions on a fresh roll served with french fries. OMG, this iconic cheesesteak was running down my hands and chin! I was drooling as I saw my cheesecake with the Pecan Crust coming towards me. It was rich, yet light and fluffy and creamy- probably the creamiest cheesecake I ever tasted, with some strawberry drizzle. It was just a sinful cheesecake! A truly great steakhouse and a perfect service with a friendly staff topped off a lovely lunch break in the city.

Please beware! We recently had an awful experience at Del Frisco's and it ruined a celebratory birthday meal. To begin, the bald, male manager was incredibly rude for no reason at all. There was a mix-up with our reservation and they gave us the wrong table that was meant for another group of two - easily fixed, right? The solution is to just give the other group of two the table that was meant for the two of us. The aggressive attitude given to us from the manager, along with his scowls, started the night off on a bad foot. After reprimanding us for not asking the hostess if the table she was seating us at was meant for us, he couldn't even bother to say "enjoy your meal" or "sorry for the mix-up." We tried to recover, but the atmosphere was very much like a bar scene - not what we expected for a so-called "high-end steakhouse." The noise level was off the charts and the manager, along with another female manager, constantly walked around the floor between the tables just watching everyone. By the way, the rude manager walked past our table again mid-way through the meal and gave a condescending stare like we ruined the restaurant by mixing up his planned table placement. Furthermore, the food was just okay. We have been to multiple high-end restaurants and this just does not compare to others. We are happy to spend hundreds of dollars on good food and drinks, but we would not recommend this place to anyone. If you are reading this, please consider going across the street to Ocean Prime Steakhouse - you won't regret it!

The service was exceptional. GABRIELLE was one of best servers I’ve ever encountered. Food is great, but wouldn’t say excellent. The atmosphere is worth it all. Ask for table on 2nd floor.

Went with some friends for a special occasion. Server should have mentioned what the signature drink of Del Friscos is before I made my selection. I ordered their rendition of a long Island iced tea and it was no good. Too much spice or something on the drink that was off putting. I deferred to a drink called The VIP which was impressive. It had mandarin orange vodka along with fresh squeezed pineapple and something else I forget. It was tasty of you like sweeter drinks. Had a nice alcohol selection overall I'd say. Started with a crab cake. Server said it was about 95% crab. I don't know about that. Had bigger chunks of celery in it than I would have liked. I had better crab cakes elsewhere. For $27 it should have been a better crab cakes. The VIP was $18 and I thought that was overpriced. Should have been between $12-15 probably. For my main course I got the 24 oz USDA Prime porterhouse and it delivered. It was tender and the temp was on point. I got a topper of 2 oz of king crab and truffle butfer which was splendid. The steak definitely was the star of the show. Once again, for $89, it should be. We got a few accompaniments of lobster mac [good, not great], asparagus [standard], truffle baked potato [very good] and truffle fries [mediocre at best]. Another person got the chicken and it was overcooked I'd say. A bit dry even if it didn't have the romesco sauce. Friend got a pound of king crab, which looked delicious but at $110/pound it better be unreal. For dessert we got warm butter cake which ended up being semi-disappoonting. For one, it was a bundt cake which the outside was too sweet and and it was lathered with caramel sauce which was overkill on the sweetness level in my opinion. The vanilla ice cream kind of offset the sweetness but yeah, I've had better dessert elsewhere. The cake inside was moist which semi-saved the dessert. Overall, this place is overpriced big time. Ambience is decent, but quite frankly I wouldn't have chosen this spot if it was solely up to me. I can get two or three delicious steaks elsewhere for a combined total of the $89 I paid for one. I won't be back anytime soon.

family of 9; 3 adult couples, 2 younger kids and 1 single young adult. we were seated almost 1/2 hour later than reservation called for. as there was a "2 hour time limit" this was issue #1. after waiter took drink and appetizer orders we were visited by the "manager" told we would have to leave the room at 7:30. this left less than an hour to eat our meal, which was not yet served, enjoy a dessert and wish my wife a Happy 75th birthday. needless to say it was a disaster. at 7:33 with our dinner still on our plates the manager returned and informed us we had to leave right now. then his 2 "security? guards" arrived and as we were not vacating the room then we were threatened that he was calling the police to get us out. nice as now my 6 year old granddaughter is crying and wants to know if she is going to jail. Food that we ate was pretty good but the experience terrible. we do frequent several other "high end" steakhouses and never have experienced this maltreatment anywhere else.

Our server Brian M was awesome! He suggested amazing apps and my entree was perfect. He made sure that we needed for nothing. The manager Frank got my wife a desert for her birthday which was awesome! Thanks so much to both of you gentlemen. I would come back if for nothing else then your awesome service.

Del Frisco's is my favorite US steak restaurant chain. I visited the one in Philadelphia for the first time, and was happy to find out that the Del Frisco's quality is there no matter of the restaurant's location. The place is quite unusual; very monumental and adds to the overall experience. I started with a thick slice of grilled bacon, with pepper, honey/whisky glaze, and jalapenos. It was a delicious combo of meaty, fatty, sweet, and spicy. So good and large that I was afraid how I would cope with my bone-in strip steak. Nothing to worry about, though. The meat was so tasty, succulent, properly spiced, finished with a lot of butter, that I managed to eat all of it. No side dishes, though; my previous experiences have taught me a lesson. The excellent meat didn't leave any room for dessert, but that was not the point of coming here, was it? Not cheap at all; with a glass of red wine, the bill was 118$. Money well spent.

This place used to be quite good -- but no more, this is awful. What a disappointment yesterday's dinner was. First, slow service. Waiting to give an order. Waiting for every dish. Four of us, four simple salads -- oh, sorry, we can't do caesar salads we're out of anchovies. What? Are they on credit-hold, how is a large steakhouse out of items? I'd like the spinach, but just serve it plain without all the egg and cheese etc. No can do. Why? We're told that they don't have any uncooked spinach, the cheesy dish is made with frozen spinach - for like $17.00! Then meat dishes, nothing cooked properly. The steaks were under-cooked, medium steaks blood red. My lamb chops were supposed to be medium+ but were over-cooked but despite that were served tepid, not even hot. How can that be, they're not that busy. They'll replace them -- 20 minutes later, after everybody else is winding up, new chops come out blood rare, inedible. Of course, by then all the side dishes were cold. 15 minutes to get a glass of wine, while we watched our waiter, not a busboy, but our high-priced waiter, clean off table after table, while we are waiting. All this, with a round of drinks and one bottle of wine no appetizers, no dessert, for the low price of $700+ before tip! This place has sunk so low, maybe its been sold, I dont know. But it is a shadow of its former self. Poorly prepared, overpriced food with slow service... Will never return.

Genuinely this restaurant is delicious, our server was immaculate and his presentation was flawless. The food was delicious, overpriced, but they said it was due to economic factors. Everything would have been perfect if not for the restaurant losing power. Early on after our entrees were served the entire restaurant loses power and service halts completely. No drinks will be served, the back of house has no power, no hot desserts will be offered. Pay your check and leave. No compensation for the event to the guests, no attempt to make good on the ruined anniversary meal between my wife and I. The server came over and had to hand write our check, asking for payment details to be taken by hand. Now they have copies of my payment information that is much rather not be out in the world not to mention the server calculated our tax wrong meaning management corrected him for the extra $2. Considering how poorly they care for guests when they are at fault, management needs every dollar they can get their hand on.

Food and staff were excellent! Will definitely be returning again!! We can’t say enough about this restaurant we went on a date night and it meant all of our expectations and more!

We went to the new Broad St location because it was an advertised fundraising event, and since staff was still being trained, food was half off. Food was good, but I can’t see ever paying full price for it there as it is expensive. (We like to cook nice meals at home, so we may have a different perspective than others.) Server was very pleasant, did well considering, but he did have challenges due to not hearing our order properly due to the open kitchen noise, and too many people working our table, making it too confusing for them all, so they couldn’t find a copy of our receipt. We are glad we supported the charity that we will not be back.

Restaurant Week is a time I use to decide whether I'd go back/send people to a particular restaurant, but I think it's become a bit of a nightmare to some places. Service was a bit sloppy/superficial all around, and the food was badly over-seasoned. The only flavour in the lobster bisque, for example, was what I can only assume was cayenne pepper. The steak was reasonably good (it's a steakhouse, it should be, eh?) but nothing else was particularly good, especially the dessert which tasted as if it had been made quite some time ago. It's an interesting building and we had a nice table, but I wasn't terribly impressed with the food or service.

Terrible during Restaurant Week. Tiny tables, bad attitude of the hostesses...Not a place to go again.

I brought business guests to Del Friscos for a dinner meeting. The food was good as expected but service was lacking. The worst moment was when the steaks arrived and the dour server stood over my guests and demanded they cut their steaks in front of him to prove they were done properly. It was embarrassing to my guests to be treated like children and the server’s severe-yet-bored demeanor made the moment even worse. Why couldn’t you just leave them alone to enjoy their meal? Maybe it’s the new owner who needs some service lessons. I’ll go elsewhere next time. It’s not hard to find a great steak place where my guests will be treated respectfully.

My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here 8/21. Drinks were good, service was very good. Appetizers -- calamari was ok but a bit bland on the spice, the black pepper bacon was great. Dinner -- strip steak and filet both were severely undercooked -- a big miss for a steak house. The steaks were not even close to medium rare, and I know we could have sent them back, but I should not have to in a steak house. These things were rarer than rare. The mashed potatoes were average but bland, mushrooms were bland looked like they had been around for a while, and the Brussel sprouts were good. Overall -- just a very mediocre meal. The cheesecake was good. Maybe it was just an off night for the kitchen, but I seriously doubt I would recommend this place to anyone.

Great service from Kyle. His recommendation for cheese steak egg roll was tops. Egg rolls were cooked perfectly w a bit of crunch. Great cheeses steak flavor. Loved the Asian fusion of the sauce. Unfortunately the steaks did not reach that level of quality. The meat was very salty and dry. Ordered as medium and it had a limited bit of pink in the meat when it arrived but was very dry. A bit of a disappointment. Also they are out of quite a few wines on their by the glass list. Just have a second option ready when you order.

I was treated to a meal here recently. Make no mistake, the interior of this place is Philly grandeur’s at it’s peak... really quite impressive. I had a great night out and felt really treated but given the reputation and price point of this place, I’m reviewing accordingly. Pre dinner drinks at the bar were not over priced with a good selection of beers though the logistics of sitting in the walkway could really be improved. The waiter walked off and left me behind the rest of the party as I was settling the bar bill... not very attentive that. The food was really very good. Seafood platter followed by a nice fillet steak cooked perfectly. The house red was better than average. At this price point Philly restaurants can be amazing, but something about the seating and general layout inside this otherwise very grand venue was a bit lacking... a bit packed in maybe?

First visit and it didn't disappoint. Filets were awesome. Crab cakes were huge. Started off with the lobster bisque, so creamy.Deserts were very good also. The building was a spectacular old bank. Huge vault room down stairs.

My husband and I were really looking forward to dinner at Del Frisco in Philadelphia and was very disappointed! Here are the negatives... - We sat at the bar to have a drink before dinner on the second floor which was empty. The bartender didn't acknowledge us for about 5-10 minutes, didn't say a word and then just put menus in front of us. No greeting and I felt he was rude. - At dinner I felt like we were on a speed date. Our waiter Adam spoke so fast I barely understood him and we felt very rushed. - He didn't seem happy that I asked about the restaurant week menu which we didn't order from anyway. - I got a wedge salad and was delicious but wanted to eat some of it with my entree which I told him. He still asked me about 10Xs if he could take it. Really? - My husband's rib-eye had a bad odor. They did take it back and gave him another which was very nice but lame excuse why it was bad. Adam didn't seem happy. - I thought this was an upscale steak house. There were several people dressed in baseball hats and hoodies. Positives: - The greeting hostess was very nice! - My Chilean sea bass was delicious - The manager came to apologize about my husband's meal and was very nice!!!

Went there for restaurant week and everything I ordered was delicious. It's a very expensive place and everything is a la carte. But if you want a good steak and great drinks, this is the place.

This place has inherited some atmosphere from the bank once operated in this venue. One feels this space for sure and welcomes meals differently. Meals are very good although a bit reserved. All in all, we had a nice dinner.

I’ve frequented this restaurant for various power business lunches. It is great. The lunch specials are quick yet delicious. They are timed well. The bisque is awesome and the service exceptional. My go to when in Philly.

Went to Del Frisco's for Mother's Day and loved it! We ordered a variety of items from the calamari, cheese steak dumplings, meatballs, the ribeye and the surf & turf trios were all delicious! But the icing on the cake was our experienced, entertaining and attentive waiter Josh Eflin! If you love five-star service, ask for Josh and please leave a generous tip, he deserves it!

Interesting building conversion to steakhouse, very good service and good for everyone in our group was good with exception of mine which was disappointing. I had ordered my steak cooked pink center, it was actually overcooked and bone dry, I did not make a point of returning it but certainly would have done so if I was having solo dinner

Started off with tricking us into making a reservation at their satellite restaurant vs their main restaurant- party of six at 6PM on Feb 1, out of baked potatoes- how does that happen to an upscale steak house at 6PM? We ordered 5 filets with toppings $7. !!! All 5 steaks came out warm with no toppings, they wanted to bring the toppings as a side , sorry no, they took all 5 steaks back and brought them backer ( colder) with the toppings, very cold, out of refrigerator, not hot and melted on top off cold filets which were all cooked to different temps but were supposed to be medium. Could have had a better meal at a diner with better service for hundreds of $'s less. Lucky for them they included a 20% tip on the bill- will never go to this very over-rated restaurant again
Best steakhouse experience, hands down! Will visit again for sure!
Took my wife to Del Frisco's on September 27th, 2020 for our wedding anniversary dinner. We were hesitant to visit because of the protests going on at the time, but we decided to go anyway, and we didn't experience any protests on our travel. I have been wanting to visit this restaurant since I was there a few years ago doing a photography job for a performer that was entertaining guests there at a private party. The appetizers we ordered, the bacon, and the calamari were absolutely amazing. Best calamari I've had ever. We both ordered the 12 oz. filet mignon, and both were cooked to perfection! So thick too! Service was amazing, our server Michelle was very attentive and contributed to our experience being amazing. I think we have found our favorite new anniversary dinner spot!
