Hard to leave hungry

By JParlante |

Great place for deli food, sandwiches and breakfast. Pickles with every order. I got a club sandwich which would have fed two people!

Delicious Eggs Benedict

By Nick Z |

I’ve eaten here a few times. Today is the 1st time I had breakfast here. Eggs Benedict was delicious. Based on the flavor and the few minutes it took to receive additional Hollandaise sauce it is made fresh as it’s ordered. Bacon was great quality and crispy as I ordered it. I also had a few poppyseed pastries that were awesome. I think items are a little More expensive here because they fly in a lot of items from New York to ensure authenticity. Service was great. I was just a little disappointed my waitress didn’t speak Russian. I’ve also had the Beef stroganoff on a few other visits that was delicious.

Taste of New York Deli!

By dbl60 |

This place rocks... the fish (lox, whitefish, etc.) is bagels are flown in from New York. The deli meats are delicious. The whitefish salad is as good as it gets! The bagels are old school New York style... not your everyday bagel, must try!

A real deli!!!

By Anyark1 |

I stayed up an extra day to avoid I35 the day after Christmas. My son asked where I wanted to eat, and I said I would love a real deli, but don't know if one exists here, like I grew up with, in Chicago. He searched and found this place. OMG, I loved it! We split blintzes, complete with applesauce and sour cream, and a wonderful corned beef sandwich. Everything was cooked well; the pickles brought to the table were delicious and they had the type of mustard I wanted. My son took his family back there the next week and this is on my "must go to" list.

good but not great.

By Roger F |

I have eaten at Deli News on several occasions. The sandwiches are good but nothing I could't do on my own. Wait staff is ok. Overall pretty average.

One of the best restaurants around but pricing is way too much

By CraftBeers |

This restaurant is truly five stars when it comes to the food and the people. I cannot say enough about how good it is. I'd give ten stars if they let me. The people working here are so nice and interactive. Virtually everyone knows each other including the customers. They talk, chat and call each other by name. It's a rare treat to find a big city place where everybody knows your name. The food is awesome. It's a very large menu. The guy sitting next to me drove all way from uptown Dallas to have Matzah Balls. He comes once a week. While this is one of my all-time favorite restaurants, I only visit once a year. The prices are just too much. I know this is a tiny mom and pop trying to make it, but $28 for a reuben sandwich, side of potato salad and tea is too much. It's not affordable for the common Joe to come back here every week.

A very famout New York style deli right in the Dallas area.

By lnlnmartin |

The place is pretty small, but it is so popular because the food is so very good. Has the feel of a bustling big city location within its walls, yet is in an easy to get to area with lots of parking.

Authentic Jewish deli

By Mohsman |

This is a very good, authentic, Jewish-style deli. It is the only one we have found, so far in Dallas. The soups, sandwiches, platters, and desserts are as they would be in a New York or Los Angeles. Service is fast, efficient and friendly. Seating is somewhat cramped, but acceptable. It is my go to place for Jewish food.

Quick Trip to New York

By Richard_x5173 |

This is a fun little place at the corner of Preston and Campbell. It is very busy, but arriving later in the lunch hour allowed us to get seated virtually immediately. We had the hot sandwiches, and I had the split peas soup. The 1/2 soup and sandwich does not include the hot sandwiches. If you want a hot sandwich, skip the soup.

Excellent NY Style deli and restaurant

By WarrenB07481 |

Really good breakfasts, great sandwiches. A sit-down neighborhood deli. Very friendly service, the food is consistently good. The crowd here seems like regulars, which is good. If you want to sit a while and talk or work, no problem. I always look forward to coming here. Excellent sandwiches, piled high but not over the top. I'd recommend it to any locals and out-of-towners in Far North Dallas.

wonderful Dallas deli

By Jerald M |

As an original Dallasite, I have seen delis come and go in Dallas. However, Deli News, which I visit every time I travel to Dallas, has maintained an excellence similar to a true New York deli. A small restaurant, often with long lines waiting for the wonderful matzo ball soup, chopped liver, oversized sandwiches, blintzes, etc. We stopped in for brunch this past Sunday prior to departing from Dallas. At 11:15, we waited in line for 15 minutes after being greeted by a delightful gentleman with an Eastern European accent, a hint of Yiddish, who made the wait seem like seconds. When we were seated, the service was impeccable, the food was served quickly and perfectly, and a to go order was brought to the table promptly when we were ready to leave. Highly recommended!

So Happy to find a TRUE Deli

By Vlhq |

When we moved to TX I was so sad because I could not find any true Jewish-Deli and wow I am so happy that I found you guys. The food is always great and to my enjoyment this year I took home some Kugel ... I sure did not want to make it myself and it was great..

Best Jewish-style delicatessen in the...

Best Jewish-style delicatessen in the city. Be sure to try their Rueben!

I would go back again if I was feeling rich.

By Kristie G |

Quick info: I would go back again if I was feeling rich. This place is a real keeper. I went to lunch here with 6 others. It's not really a great place for groups, but it's good for a couple of you. This place is super small and run by some serious dudes. each table gets delivered a plate of pickles. These are amazing. I could have bought a jar to go (if they sold them). The reason they are different is they are not pickled in vinegar. It's just pickling salt and spices. You get ones that are full on pickled and ones that are fresh cukes that have maybe bee in the brine overnight, not 100% sure. Just know they are addicting. I didn't post pictures since the photos already on this site are plentiful for what we had. Everyone really enjoyed what they had. I had the 1/2 and 1/2 soup and sandwich. I chose the pastrami on rye with Swiss and Russian dressing. If you have looked at any of the pictures on this place then you already know the sandwiches are huge, this is what steered me toward the combo. The 1/2 sandwich was HUGE as weel so I got to try both worlds. I chose the cannage borscht soup and it was really amazing. I have never had borscht so I can not tell you if it was authentic, but being a soup junkie I loved this. The "cup" of soup matched the 1/2 sandwhich, I would have called it a bowl. So in a nut shell: If you are super hungry, go for it. My friend who ordered a full sandwich and an ice tea paid $18.95. That is double what I would want to pay for lunch. My half and half was $10.99 and I did not get a drink. I believe the drinks are around $3. You won't be sorry unless your low on cash. Needless to say this is a once a quarter type place for me.

New York deli in a Dallas suburb

By Scott |

Who knew there’s a New York style deli in Dallas? Great choice of sandwiches and plenty of other items. The open faced Reuben was terrific with good slaw on the side. The pickles served on the side were fresh and crispy. The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly. Well worth the trip.

Good, but not NYC Great!

By hlevineocd |

If you're looking for a great New York deli...this ain't it! If you're looking for the best New York deli in Texas...try Kenny & Ziggy's in Houston. But if you seek the best NY deli in DFW....EUREKA! .I always ask for a really sour pickle, and am never disappointed. Great starter while waiting for my matzo ball soup. This trip, the broth was a little thin, but the matzo ball as good as mom's. Sipped on my Dr. Brown's Black Cherry while waiting for my corned beef and Swiss cheese on a kaiser roll. The sandwich was overstuffed and looked delicious. Overall, the sandwich was large, and tasty. The kaiser was soft....not a hard, flaky NY roll. The side of potato salad was creamy and filled with chunks of potato. The coleslaw is a better bet. If you're adventurous, try my fave...pastrami, chopped liver, Bermuda onion, coleslaw, Russian dressing, and deli mustard on rye. Now there's a sandwich! Skipped the usual cheese cake (always good). Couldn't decide between a Black & White or a cherry cheese danish. so I took both. Pricey, but great. .In sum, best deli in DFW, but I don't think we're on Houston Street any more, Toto!

Just Like Back in NY

By SReiter45 |

Been out of Dallas for 4 years, yet this was one of my favorite places to visit. Originally from New York, let's just say I yearn for a real NY style deli - complete with great sandwiches and Dr Browns. While living there (15 years), we frequented this place and the original site off Forrest many, many times - in fact my Dad before passing would cry looking at all the NY photos from the 30s - 70s. This visit to see my son, took my granddaughter on the way back from a college interview - she had a pastrami reuben and I a tongue sandwich - both on REAL rye bread, a kosher pickle and guess what we drank. While pricing went up a bunch in 4 years, this place is without a doubt worth a trip. Man - do I miss this cuisine!!!

Great breakfast!

By ColumbusAnoymous |

We had a great breakfast here and I think prices are good for the quality. The potatoes seem to be home cut chunks that are perfectly browned. The corn beef hash was the best I have had for a long time. Our son loved his chocolate chip waffle, we probably shouldn't have let him have whipped cream for breakfast, but..... The service was friendly, but we had to ask for a coffee refill, which is the only thing stopping me giving this a 5. It was a 4.5 star experience.

Finally Found

By Gerald Z |

Life is good, found a great Deli in this area!! After living in NYC and Chicago and then moving here is was akin to a waste land. Yesterday I had the pleasure of eating here, a very large bowl of chicken noodle soup with chucks of meat, nice pieces of carrots, in a very good broth. Follow that with a Pastrami Sandwich piled high on good crust rye bread and a side of cole slaw, followed with a Dr Brown cream soda......heaven on earth.

Reasonable Prices and Good Food

By realst8ace |

The last time I was here was 6 years ago and they are still going strong. The food was delicious and hot. My husband had the Classic L.E.O and I had the Belgian waffle and two eggs. It was Labor Day weekend and quite busy. We had a very short wait but it was worth it.

Authentic NY-style deli restaurant

By Bill W |

From corned beef to pastrami, and bagels to pickles, this place is the real deal in terms of an authentic NY-style deli restaurant (I grew up in NYC, so am very familiar). I tried their pastrami on rye - excellent. Slightly pricey, but the quality is there. Their lunch menu includes special combo sandwiches, unique hot sandwiches, and also chicken soup with matzo ball. I need to go back and try their dinner menu - I saw things like Hungarian goulash, corned beef and cabbage, smoked fish and blintzes & knishes, just to name a few. They also have an extensive breakfast menu too. At the southeast corner of Campbell and Preston.

Large Portions - A N.Y.C. deli in Dallas

By Dap66 |

The pastrami is outstanding. Was too full to try the N.Y. style cheesecake, but if it is as good as the NY supplied Pastrami meat, locally brained on site and the N.Y.C. pickles, it must be great.

It has been a long time ...

By Jerome G |

Due to the COVID restrictions it has been a long time since I visited Deli News .... they have not lost their touch. Our breakfast selections and bagel were just as good as I remembered. Not to waste a trip, we also purchased sandwiches to go for our lunch. The sandwiches are large but that should not deter those with a smaller appetite because you can always eat 1/2 for 2 meals.

Very good, New York-style deli

By Mohsman |

As stated by others, my wife and I have finally found a good Jewish/New York-style deli in Dallas. We have lived in Texas, and it took us four years. The menu is straight out of any famous New York deli - extensive, with all the favorites. We tried the Pastrami Reuben, matzoh ball soup, and the kasha varnishkes. The Rueben was better than average. Although healthier and higher quality, the pastrami was too lean for our tastes. The kasha was great and the soup (a huge bowl with two matzoh balls) was very good. Our server was friendly, attentive, and prompt - a refreshing change from some of the New York deli's! They also have a good selection of Jewish pastries, meats, fish, etc. The owner was hands-on and very friendly. We will definitely be back. It will almost certainly be a regular place for us.

Good News about Deli-News

By TheOwlReviewer |

Have driven by this place on Preston Road for years. When it appeared on the list of top 100 Dallas restaurants, we decided to give it a try. Why haven't we been here before? Maybe because it's a nondescript place in a retail corner. Anyway, don't judge the place on looks! The menu is varied, the food is tasty (my companion had the ruben; I had the tuna melt), the service is friendly and efficient, and the prices are reasonable. Breakfasts look divine. We'll be back!

The Finest Jewish Deli In The Dallas Area

By Magictravelnow |

Great selection of sandwiches, the best nova in town, breakfast and even dinner is terrific. I have been going there for quite some time. Almost on a daily basis. I love this entire team they are always so nice and friendly except today. The server must have been very tired today after the holiday as he yelled at me and would not stop being sarcastic because I ordered the wrong item and had asked for it to be replaced and it was replaced immediately. I love Zoric and the entire team I just don't what happened today as this guy would not shut up he just keep talking and talking in a very sarcastic tone that no client ever deserves even after Zoric said enough. He just kept being rude. I have never had anyone at any restaurant treat a paying client this way..it was shocking.

Excellent New York Style Deli

By 2flylo |

Deli News is a very good example of a New York Deli, but in north Texas. All the ingredients are exceptional. Every plate is well prepared and served by a very friendly staff. Don't expect an open table if you arrive at noon, you will wait for the excellent food.

Over Priced Menu for Average Food

By Blake M |

The food was very average while the prices were too high for the quality of the food. It had been several years since i had last eaten here, but I won't make that mistake again! Don't recommend!

Nice Pastrami

By The Pedestrian |

Authentic feeling Jewish Deli restaurant. The Good: Coffee, Cornbeef Hash, Eggs, Pastrami and pickles were delicious. The Weak: Potato Pancakes or Latkes were small, heavy and dry. Please have a Jewish Grandma assist..:). Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain

NYC in Dallas

By wingcastles |

Marketing is the key to the success of many businesses. This place has a tremendous website that makes it look like it's a piece of NYC transplanted in Dallas. It is not, and the quality is average. IF this place was in NYC it wopuld've closed the day after it was open. ut since it's Dallas, hip hip hurray!!!!!!!!!!! Long live the place. I took a pastrami that came all messed up, open (is it a burger?) with cheese and onions and everything was like put into a blender. whatever.

I love this slice of NY deli in Dallas

By CraftBeers |

I've been to Deli News twice. After both visits I ask myself why I don't stop by more often. There is nothing fancy about the place, but it does have a NY deli feel with Soppressata's hanging on cords over the deli counter. The guys behind the counter are rough, but funny and helpful. There are two ways to experience the deli. You can go down the deli line to place orders to go or you can sit down and be served. If you head down the deli line, the menu is on the wall. If you sit down, there is a pretty extensive 5-6 page spiral bound menu. I wanted to try something from the franks, knocks and knish section just because of the name, but I landed on the open faced Pastrami Rueben. I loved it. The flavors were great and there was a ton of meat piled on it. It wasn't "Carnegie Deli" high, but it was a lot. Another cool feature of this deli are the free pickles. They give you four slices from two styles of brining. The whole menu is heavily influenced by NY Russian-Jewish food. You will find challah bread, potato knish, and latkes. D Magazine and The Observer have rated this the best deli in Dallas in years past. Zaggat gives it a high rating. It gets my thumbs up too.

Worth the wait!

By James A |

Kick butt New York deli food in dfw. Pastrami has great flavor. Open faced pastrami reuben on well griddled rye bread...topped with two meals width of meat, sauerkraut and cheese...but you'll eat all of it. Buddy ordered the 'old timer'...Two big hot dogs topped with kraut with a big knish on the side. Next time I'll need to split the old timer and get a side of corned beef hash. And some time I'll need to save room for one of their classic deli desserts.

Real sandwiches

By ashleyj1972 |

Tried the place out for the first time real sandwiches not subway or those other places price is okay for what you get staff was very nice and food arrived fast and hot will be going again for sure

A New Found Friend

By HNBISOFF |

Simply awesome is the only was to describe Deli News. The Ruben sandwich was awesome. And the pickles-WOW, and the potato salad was very good as well. The desserts were not appealing to me.

Near NyC taste in Texas

Stopped in for lunch. Had a good pastrami sandwich with matza ball soup. Decent pickles and dr browns cream soda. Waiter was great and the food was flavorful. Will go back again!!!

A New Favorite

By Mike R |

I stumbled upon this NY deli by accident, but I'm so glad I did. It's a new favorite. I ordered the first thing I saw on the menu -- an egg sandwich with home style potatoes -- DELICIOUS. Now, I have to go back to try one of their reuben sandwiches as well as the pastries which also looked delish! The staff was friendly and engaging; the service was quick, and the prices were fair. I'll definitely be back with my family and with co-workers -- though not at the same time. LOL If you want to go for dinner, be sure to check the hours first, because they close fairly early at either 7 or 8 pm.

Huge portions

By NaturalizedTexan |

This deli has huge portions and an extensive menu. I can't imagine someone not finding something they would like. It's a little pricey and lunch can easily set you back $15 but you won't leave hungry.

Excellent Rueben!

By Doug D |

Great deli, walk in, or seated service. Pastrami Rueben is excellent and very large, enough for 2-3 meals. Onion rings as a side are nice. A nice selection of pastries and Staff is very friendly and efficient.

Great Breakfast

By realst8ace |

Locals consider it the best deli around. We were in town and met some friends for breakfast. Our table ordered Eggs, Lox and Onions; an Egg White Veggie Omelet ; Cheese Blintzes and The Manny, which came with eggs (we had them scrambled), 2 slices of meat (we had bacon) and 4 pieces of very large challah French toast. Everyone enjoyed their food which was delicious and well prepared. The atmosphere was fair and the tables crowded together - otherwise it would have gotten an excellent.

Wonderful Ruben Sandwich

By HNBISOFF |

Deli News make a wonderful Ruben Sandwich. The kosher pickles are wonderful as well. A unique place to experience a great meal b

Less than we expected

By Jane S |

We went in with high hopes. These people have all kinds of awards and great reviews. The place was OK, I just think the hype set the bar too high. I'm not worried about them though. They seem to have enough regulars to keep them in business for a long time. The food, fine. The service, less than wonderful. The place, nothing special and crowded.

Dinner

By Z1832RQjoel |

This is an excellent place to eat. We got there around 6:45 PM; they close at 8:00. We had soup, meat loaf, stuffed cabbage rolls, and beef stroganoff. The variety of breads was sinful!!

Authentic NY Jewish Heaven

By Rocco G |

I saw the name and had to stop in. "The Deli News" McAfee me laugh. The Rueben made me cry. Seriously as good a Rueben as I've had including the now defunct Carnegie Deli. I am a Deli aficionado and trust me, this is no Jimmy John's! Fast and friendly. I could finish it all. Coming back. Now I need a Knish!

Finally found an authentic deli!

By c7007 |

SO GOOD! We moved here from LA almost 10 yrs ago and this is the first REAL deli we've been able to find (Carshon's in FW is ok, but not like this!). The food is authentic and as good as you will ever find in any Fairfax District Deli (all due respect to Cantor’s). Our table had: Pastrami Rueben, Tuna Melt on Rye w/Swiss, Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Hash Browns, Oatmeal, Apple Strudel, Cheese Strudel, Fried Potato Pirogen, Chicken Hodgepodge Soup, Matzo Ball Soup, Chocolate Rugalach, NY Cheesecake, and Cheese Blintz. ALL of it was amazing! The coleslaw and potato salad were just right, not too mushy or soggy and not too dry – the cabbage was crisp without being too crunchy. The tuna salad is solid white and made perfectly, the rye is mild (which I prefer over the strong stuff) and the Tuna Melt was perfectly browned. The pastrami was delicious and the Rueben was built perfectly. The pirogen are AMAZING and served with sautéed onions. The hodgepodge soup is a combination of matzo, kreplach, and noodles and it’s almost perfect, but I had to add a dash of pepper. The hash browns are more along the lines of home fries and cooked exactly how we like them. The cheesecake is probably the best I’ve ever had in my life (only not “probably” and you’ll just have to trust that I know my cheesecake). The other pastries were also delicious. Serving sizes of all items were very generous and the service was great. Very busy, noisy, and crowded, but it’s a deli – it should be! I don’t live anywhere near this place, but I will most definitely be visiting anytime I’m over near Dallas for any reason. This is an authentic Jewish deli and I am so happy that we found it.

Great breakfast!

By Divakatana |

I love going here for omelettes and bagels. On a weekend, plan on waiting in line for at least 10-15 minutes. This is as close to a NY Deli as you will find in the Dallas area.

A Bissel of Brooklyn in Big D

By PlanoTravler |

If you are longing for a good bagel and some vegetable Schmeer or maybe a nice piece a lox this is the place. Everything is bake there and it's always fresh I can't always guarantee they'll have all the flavors you want so you better get there early especially on the weekends. And when you want scrambled eggs and matzo and it's the middle of the winter and it's not Passover this is the place to go make sure you save a little room for dessert the black-and-white's are well worth it.

Great sandwiches

By Tollinche7 |

You would think you were in NYC! Very consistent and good soups. Enjoy it! I love the piled high sandwiches and cheesecake.

Great deli food

By DallasKevin |

I live fairly close and visit Deli News a few times per month, mostly for dinner. Fantastic sandwiches. There's a reason they made the D Magazine top restaurant list! The atmosphere isn't great and service, while normally very good, can be spotty.

Need a renovation

By ny2plano |

Have been here many times in the past. Always good food. But the place is getting a little worn out. Service was spotty this visit. I think the prices are a little high.

A Good Deli is Hard to Find!

By AMP0907 |

Finding a good Jewish deli can be quite a challenge in the Oklahoma and North Texas area. There used to be several in the Dallas area but those appear to all have closed. Deli News has great food from the crisp dill pickles to the delicious pastries. The portions of meat on the sandwiches are very generous and the traditional menu includes items such as Matzo Ball Soup, Noodle Pudding, Chopped Liver, Hamentaschen, Jewish Rye, and bagels to name a few. There was also a variety of non-Jewish foods for those not interested in the traditional cuisine. We were there at noon on a Saturday so it was a bit crowded and we had to wait a bit, but it was worth it. It is not a fancy place (what deli is?) but it is clean and the staff was helpful, pleasant, and professional. We have made this a "go to" restaurant when we go to Dallas and bring back to Oklahoma a number of our favorite items. HInt: They close at 8:00pm MO-FR but at 3:00pm on SA and SU so come for breakfast or lunch on the weekends. Most tables seat 2-4 people but they were good about combining tables for larger groups (there were 3 groups for someone's birthday during the short time we were there on Saturday.)

NY NY

By TXMULESKINNER |

the only NY style deli in Dallas...great sandwiches and terrific main courses...a bag of bagel chips is a must to take home

Great Sandwich Restaurant

By texaswillie |

Just a short distance down the street from my house and a place we can go quickly and always count on quality food. The sandwiches are excellent.

Same old

By Mark H |

The food is good but nothing Special. Does not compare with New York Delis. Sloppy looking counter help. Not very friendly.

Have been a customer for many years

By Jose O |

If it's good, quick service that you want, this is not the place, but if you like solid NY Dely type fare, you're in the right place.

Mongo Reuben

By Deborah Y |

Wasn't sure what to expect as this deli is in a strip mall and I was thinking, "mmmmm" but it turned out to be great. They make a Reuben Sandwich to die for. It had a great pile of corned beef, mild saurekraut, served with 1000 Island dressing and a pickle and coleslaw. I got mine to go and was glad because this was a mess to eat. Not sure I could have done that gracefully in public.

Pretty darn good for being in the South

By Scott M |

Service was great, atmosphere was spot on for a deli and my better half's french toast was excellent...BUT, it's not Katz's. For Dallas, it's the bomb, but for all of you well versed in deli, you won't be disappointed, but it's not the same. Almost forgot - the half sours...awesome.

Super Club Sandwich and Matzah Ball Soup

By David G |

We split a club sandwich. It was huge. We each had a bowl of matzah ball soup. Incredible. Here's a link we found http://www.firstclassdallas.com/fcd.company.display.asp?AP=1&chk=1&CompanyID=226

Finally, an authentic deli!

By Trinidadlover |

My daughter took me to Deli News after hearing my complaints about not finding a REAL deli in Texas so far. It was excellent! I had a corned beef and turkey sandwich on rye, and it was mile high and delicious. The potato salad was good, but plain. The Russian dressing was great. My daughter had a turkey sandwich and onion rings, which she really enjoyed. She had a black and white on shortbread cookie for dessert and loved that (I got a bite). I am eager to try their lox and bagel on another visit. I have not had real deli food since I went to L.A. many years ago - a famous deli, although I don't recall the name. This is a true gem! It is not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.

Incredible!!

By Lyn B |

A terrific little place. Wonderful food. Closest thing in Dallas for a NY type deli. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Good NYC style deli

By ny2plano |

Reminds me of NYC deli. Good food. Tables are close together. My grandson likes to go there for the pickles. My favorite at Deli News is the Corned Beef Hash.

A True Deli!

By Mark F |

My wife and I have been looking for a great reuben for awhile now. We have tried many places, but the look is over. The corned beef is excellent. This place is an old school deli that serves great food. From the soups, to the burgers, to the deli sandwiches, it is all good.

I prefered the Pastrami than the Lox

By carbonerodecano |

Nice neighborhood deli. I enjoyed very much the Pastrami. The lox was not at the same level. I'd come back.

Great Lunch

By swampdonkey81 |

I had been recommended to try by a few friends and I am glad I did . I had the open face Reuben and it was gigantic . Old fashioned open face on great rye bread . We also had a cheesesteak but certainly not as good as the Reuben . We also had eggs Benedict with a side chef salad for only 2.50 adder and it was gigantic . There were many other items I want to return and try .Menu is comprehensive deli home cooking .Service was very good despite being packed .

Excellent for NYC craving

By Kevin D |

As a native New Yorker I am always in search of NY deli fare, especially pastrami, corned beef, etc. I stopped in Deli News for breakfast a few weeks ago and then again soon after for a hot pastrami to go. The sandwich was so authentic, I went back for another a few days later. Perfect meat, pickle, deli mustard, and coleslaw. If the staff was a little more rude, I'd have thought I was in NY! BTW, They also have nice selection of bagels, imported from NY. I grabbed an everything bagel to go.

a New York treat in Dallas

By lefty772015 |

being from New York but having lived in Texas over 40 years every once in awhile I get a yearning for good pizza and deli and there is a real shortage of deli's here but I decided to take some friends to Deli News...hadn't been there in many years but it will now become a more regular haunt after tasting the very best chicken matzo ball soup!! had a half a sandwich with delicious potato salad and my favorite pickles...everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choices and we left with a Cheshire grin on our faces and very satisfied stomachs...frankly can't wait to go back...just a friendly note...this establishment is a BYOB but you have to bring your own opener if you want wine...

Excellent Smoked Salmon Bagel Sandwich

By CDM49 |

We stopped our for first time for a light lunch. I and my spouse both had the smoked Salmon on a bagel which was excellent. Sorry we don't have a Deli News where we live. Plenty of free parking available in front.

Always excellant

By John-Galt-Of-Dallas |

It's hard to give adequate compliments to a restaurant that so consistent giving you good service, good food, and reasonable prices. The food is always fresh. The waitstaff is friendly and engaging. Stop by for a piece of NYC here in Dallas.

Best deli in Dallas

By Michael W |

Once having lived in New York you always are in search of good deli food when you leave. Deli News bills itself as the best deli in Dallas. And that it is. Mainly because there really isn't another deli close to New York style as this one is. Actually run by Ukranians who do a pretty good job of duplicating the meats, smells, pastries and matzo ball soup of New York. But, still, it's not New York. It's crowded like New York, and the waitstaff is just about as pleasant as in New York, but if you crave serious deli, you'll eventually find yourself here. Stick to the standards and don't get too adventuresome, and your New York deli craving will be 90% satisfied.

I actually visit this deli from time to time and always feel it is the best little Deli in Dallas. Classic piled on sandwiches, friendly service, and don't forget the pickles. Great for both dining in and taking out.

Closest Real Deli in Dallas

By yellowpixels |

Very good place to get your "real" deli fix. The bagels are surprisingly good as are the other traditional dishes. Try the soups - matzo ball is very good as are the others. It's not NYC or Chicago but close enough .... no kidding.

3865 Preston Rd., Frisco Location Good Too!

By WendyHappiness1 |

We'd lunched at Deli News in Dallas before and were happy to find the 2nd location in Frisco. The half sandwich and cup of soup option was a winner at $10.99. The soup "cup" was a full bowl and the half sandwich (I picked pastrami on rye) was stuffed to capacity with meat. An included small cup of potato salad or cole slaw was included too. The matzah ball soup was really good, with a huge light, fluffy matzah ball and the pastrami was good and lean. Prices are reasonable for the generous portions and worth the trip. I also got a dozen bagels to go. They were OK, but not like the real NY bagel - a little smaller and less chewy. We will be back to Deli News though. The service was attentive and quick.

NYC Deli in Dallas

By GhostRider76 |

This is a GREAT place to go if you're in North Dallas and want the food that's loved in New York City. Everything on the menu is super-legit, especially the bagels which are flown in daily from NYC. Wait staff has been there forever and is super-knowledgeable. Restaurant owner is a great guy, always takes time to greet guests and ask how they liked their meal. He's one of the hardest workers in the the whole shop. Piece of advice, go after the breakfast rush is over in the morning and it's much less chaotic. If you want the true NYC deli experience, get there early when it's frenetic and fun!!!

Best NY Deli this side of Kenny & Ziggy's

By hlevineocd |

This is a close to a NY Deli as you can get in Dallas. The chicken soup is great and the matzo balls are fluffy, just like Mom's. Everything I have ordered is good, but my fav is pastrami and chapped liver with onion and Russian dressing on rye. If you ask nice, the server will get you a sour pickle...not as sour as The Pickleman in the Village, but good. The knsh is a great side. Top it off with cheesecake and a Dr. Brown's Black Cherry and you've had a good meal. I avoid it on weekends...NY Deli - NY lines. And I wouldn't wait in line to watch the 12 apostles run a relay race. Put this on on your list.

NYC - South!

I found a little bit of New York heaven in the middle of Dallas! Great, super-sized sanwiches. Great service. Pickled Herring, Chopped Liver, Pastrami. Things I have not had in quite some time. I am a fan!

Sunday brunch spot

By ssalmon88 |

This spot always has a wait and it's for good reason. The deli sandwiches are beyond amazing and the meat quality can make anyone's mouth water. Zorric is the owner of this establishment and knows how to treat every customer just like family! Such a great attitude and everyone always leaves satisfied. On a personal note their kosher pickles are my absolute favorite of all time. Great for family and friend gathering.

Great Deli

By Laurence M |

Serving sizes are huge. Onion rings were delicious. It is a little pricey but well worth it. A New York style deli in Frisco is great. They were very busy at lunch.

Fantastic

By Jeff H |

You get a sandwich piled high with great rare roast beef and the french fries are great also. A must try.

Real New York Deli menu and feel in Dallas

When you are starving for a real pastrami on rye in the Mid Cities area of DFW, this is one of only a few places to find the real thing. For me the 20 mile drive, 19 minutes, legally, is worth every bite.

Have Had Better

By FamilyTripsAndTravel |

My son and I came into this restaurant with no indications of what it was or its ratings except for the trumpeted reviews signs posted on their doors as one of the "best". We arrived at 12:45 and the deli was still experiencing a full house of lunch crowd regulars. It took about 10 minutes to get a seat and there seemed to be more disorganization than needed during this process. Myself and another lady seemed to be equally confused the multiple times the gentleman seating us indicated that our table would be available soon. We joked with each other about not knowing who he was talking to. It seemed that people were being seated from BOTH doors which made the situation more interesting and perplexing. Once seated our drink orders were promptly taken and filled. My son ordered the kid's Little Leaguer meal which was a boiled hot dog. When I asked if he could substitute french fries for the potato chips I was initially told that I could not do any substitutions, then I was told I could substitute but that it would be $ . 75 extra and then, after our waiter received some instruction from the sidelines, was able to do the substitution. I was really amazed that there was that much hassle over a side item. I asked the waiter if he recommended a sandwich of the tuna salad, the chicken salad or the egg salad. He recommended the tuna salad - the most expensive item. I opted for the chicken salad based upon three people at various tables around me ordering that item. When my son received his food I was disappointed to see a wrinkled hot dog that seemed to have spent too much time in the water before being reheated on a grill. I was impressed to see that the bun was toasted and even though it was separated in two, my son seemed to like it. I tried one of his fries and wasn't impressed. Several minutes after my son was served his food, I received my food. I thought this was poor planning. As a parent with younger children, in order to be able to eat and enjoy the meal the kids don't need to be halfway done or done before the adult entree is served. While I'm sure they did this to not have to reheat the poor hot dog again, I was grateful that I had one of my older kids with me and not my toddler. When my food arrived I was intrigued. The chicken salad look delicious. I was disappointed that I failed to realize that the sourdough bread slices wouldn't be toasted unless I asked for it. My mistake. My side was potato salad and that was probably the worst potato salad I've ever had. There was too much sugar and not enough spices and flavor. I added some of the tabletop spicy mustard to make it somewhat palatable but still only ate a few bites. It didn't taste Russian, it didn't taste Jewish (I recently had some of the best potato salad of my life in Budapest, Hungary in a cafe in the Jewish quarters 4 weeks prior to this event) and this didn't taste like that or any potato salad I had before. Although my chicken salad looked good, it too lacked depth and flavor. I haven't referred to many foods in my life as boring but this was definitely a boring chicken salad sandwich designed only to fill space in a stomach and definitely was not to be savored or enjoyed. Drinks were a little pricey here and were $1.99 per drink, which is about a dollar too high in my opinion and the glasses were smaller. Was grateful, however, that the waiter refilled my glass promptly. While the people who worked here seemed very open and friendly, I wasn't impressed with the food for the price. I may be back only because I don't like it when my experience at a restaurant seems very different from what others experienced. I will, however, do my homework and see what others recommend and give it a try and definitely will NOT order the chicken salad, their potato salad or a hot dog. Overall, I've had much better Jewish / Russian / NY / Deli food before. Maybe the 2nd time's the charm.

Great Deli Food, Awesome Service.... Come Get It

By AustinActor |

I have been here several times since I've been hanging out in North Dallas. If you've never eaten here, you need to. Great breakfast, and an awesome Reuben sandwich. The service is wonderful and the staff is very accommodating. Come to this place, you will not be disappointed. I guarantee it!

Lunch at Deli News in Dallas

By MPG6354 |

My wife loves a turkey sandwich from here on rye bread. I personally like a pastrami sandwich on rye bread. What we both agree on is the onion pockets (roll). The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has a NYC feel to it. You can't go wrong ordering anything off their menu.

Far North Dallas Deli

By Helaine N |

We have been receiving exceptional food and service at Deli News in Dallas for the 14 years we have lived here. This morning we had scrambled eggs with pastrami--delicious. How many places can you get that for breakfast? The specialty soups (like the lima bean barley soup served in the winter months) are always served hot and delicious. The service is particularly good even at very busy times. And you never have to wait for a refresher on your coffee or iced tea. The decor is functional, but the friendly atmosphere and staff are what make it special.

Great Service,Good Eats!

A lovely Jewish deli. Fast and Friendly service. Lots to choose from on the menu. I had pastrami on rye. Very Good!

my fave

By LizGrrr |

Real deli in north dallas. Always crowded - be prepared to wait in line. No reservations. Matzo ball soup is wonderful.

Awesome food

By TXnatives |

We try to eat here when we visit Dallas and every time it is always delicious. We really enjoy the fact that they don't mind you ordering lunch during breakfast time. The brisket sandwich, chicken soup, and slaw combo was fantastic. The meat was tender and juicy. If you want breakfast on the weekend you will have to wait for a table if you get there during rush time but the weekdays are usually better since most people go there for lunch time. All of the meats look tasty but I love the brisket so I stick with the sandwich on rye bread.

Not really impressed

By Daniel K |

I had a just ok tuna sandwich with a scoop of potato salad 11.99, a cup of ok split pea soup 4.99, and a coke 2.79. Over 21.00 including tax for a just acceptable lunch for one person, All the prices in the menu were high, and the deli prices were high too. Too many good restaurants with better food and prices in this area to bother coming back. Sorry to disagree with so many better reviews, but This is my my true impression based on my lunch.

Neighborhood flavor

By JParlante |

There is a write up from a local restaurant rating service that says you get plenty to eat here. They are correct. They have really good food with exceptional service. Everyone makes you feel like a local even while you're waiting on your to-go order.

Next thing to Chicago or Neew York Deli Experience

By Zhorshik |

Great place, now visited the Plano location twice - both experiences were very satisfying. The corned beef on rye was heaped high but seemed a little dry. The Rueben (House Specialty) however was GREAT as was the Chicken soup (Hint skip the Matza Ball and go for the Kreplach). The Menu was extensive and contained everything your thumping little gizzard could ever want. If it is Breakfast you desire, boy do they have that & more! Small meat counter contained all the basic necessities of life with the exception of smoked shad which was nowhere to be found. Home dilled Kosher pickles provided as an appetizer brought back some great memories of pickles of the past. Service was outstanding and friendly but not intrusive! Go there and be Happy!

Great freshly made food

By Sherri S |

We had the hot pastrami & the tuna melt & both were amazing. The service was fast & friendly & the restaurant was clean. If your new to Dallas you don’t want to miss it. It’s been around for years & has rich history on the walls.

Real NYC deli in far north Dallas

By Scott |

Very clean and friendly place. True NYC deli menu. Ordered the Reuben with slaw and a Turkey Reuben with potato salad. Grilled, Huge and plenty of ingredients served warm. Slaw was fairly flavorless but the potato salad was fine. Great pickles! No sweet tea available.

Great, Authentic NY Deli

By UtahJerry |

I am a 'Diners, Drive-ins and Dives' kind of guy. I love small local, family owned hangouts full of locals and 'regulars' and this was that kind of place. I was taken there for a business lunch by one of the 'regulars'. It is a small restaurant in a strip mall in North Dallas, a place you would drive by and never even notice it, but it was humming inside. It was packed and it seemed like everyone knew everyone else (except me). The menu was extensive with a strong Russian-Jewish influence. Everything was fresh and homemade and the portions were big. I don't frequent a lot of NY Style Deli's, but I can't imagine one that would be more authentic especially in Dallas.

Can't beat it for breakfast!

By Marcia M |

Our family wanted to share breakfast before continuing our trip. Deli News had been recommended by several and we were not disappointed. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. The New York decor matches that of the delis I have been to in NYC. The delicatessan food in the counters looked tasty and authentic but as we had breakfast, I can only say that my poached eggs were cooked to perfection. Served with pancakes, heated syrup, and crispy bacon, along with all the coffee we could drink, I would definitely be a regular if I lived in Dallas. There were many coming in, as I heard the servers call several customers by name. Great food served in a happy, warm atmosphere, what else could you want! Thumbs up!

Saturday lunch at work

By JTHEDIESEL |

OMG!!!!....Corn Beef with 3 over easy and fried potatoes....about 11 bucks.. couldnt eat it all...finished it on Sunday....all that and a bag of chips...Yessss!!!!

Real NY Bagels!

By Wander Woman |

5 star just for Bagels! Chewy deliciousness! The Pastrami sandwiches were dry and tiny compared to what you get in NYC. They were also very expensive and should have been half the price they were. $80 for lunch for 4 including a dozen bagels to take home was way too expensive. Chicken soup was super yummy- soup and half sandwich is much more reasonable. I was really looking forward to a chopped liver sandwich and it was ok but something was not right in the consistency-needed more liver and egg. Overall I would try this again because we did take out which may have impacted our experience.

Disappointed

By Gary H |

Very disappointed in first visit! Heard a lot about Deli News and was expecting a lot more. The food was ok but pretty average at best. I judge restaurants on do I want to go back tomorrow. The answer is no! Cindy’s is far superior!

The Texas deli that feels like New York

By juliecooksey |

My husband and I love to go to this deli in Dallas. It is small, a little noisy, and all of the staff is great with that NY attitude. I usually have corned beef hash, with scrambled eggs, tomatoes, and a toasted cinnamon bagel with cream cheese, not to mention the ever flowing coffee. It’s close to heaven for me. I have also had their deli corned beef sandwich - again wonderful! Give it a try and I know you will love it.

A real Deli

By PsychSanAntonio |

I have to come to Dallas from San Antonio to have real Deli. Service is friendly and food is excellent. All the selections you would expect from a NY Deli. This is a must go place for a sandwich when I am in Dallas.

Finally a NY deli in Frisco

Best Deli outside of NYC!

By James W |

I have visited twice in as many visits to Dallas. You start off with homemade pickles - they are just yummy. I ordered the Pastrami Reuben with Potato Salad both visits - what more can I say.

Excellent the whole package

By yellowtj06 |

Amazing simply amazing. They give you pickles they are excellent. Corned beef there is amazing and so darn good it makes you think about it often. The spare ribs were very good. The potato salad is not like anything I've ran across and is very good. I order extra to take home. Simply put though every dish myself or my co-workers order has been wonderful and sends most everyone holding their full bellies on the way back to work. They give you a lot and every time I have to take some home. Hats off to their chicken soup. I've even sent someone to get me some when I've not felt well and I swear it's better than medicine.

Toto, we’re not in Kansas anymore!

By Charlestonian13 |

A business trip to Dallas found me craving a deli breakfast I typically can only find in a few major cities outside NYC. Dallas has this gem and my LEO with an everything bagel was EXACTLY what I needed. Great service too.

An excellent "New York Style" Delicatessen

By Hank31 |

Just what you would expect in a Deli; sandwiches, soups, salads, breakfasts, meals, etc.; if you were in New York. In Dallas, it's a rarer find. The rye bread is the best in the area! Service is prompt, friendly, and helpful. Prices are reasonable, portions are very good. It can get crowded at peak times, but is worth the modest wait. Bread and bakery items, as well as meats, salads, and other items are available at the traditional take-out counter.

The Finest Deli in Dallas - Zagat Rated 2015

By Magictravelnow |

I go to this deli several times a week for their home made soups, very fresh nova, bagels, corn beef lean if you ask, tuna salad, egg salad and dinners and breakfast. Everything is made to order and is fresh and the service is top notch. It is amazing how easy they make it look but this is a very experienced team and "family" business. I love Rick and the entire team. I take out a lot but I do eat in the restaurant once in a while.

Fabulous fabulous fabulous

By alexandragrant8229 |

Amazing amazing. Lewisville doesn't know how lucky they are to have this quality of a deli in their town. Great bagels and beautiful nova. Matzo ball soup was comfort at its best. The Reuben resplendent and so was the nova eggs Benedict. I wish I could take this place back to Wichita with us. Mazel tov! And thank you!

Sunday breakfast

By GolfandTravel007 |

Never disappointed. Best breakfast in town. Great service and friendly staff. Always nice to run into friends there. Pancakes are the best in town. We have had lunch several times there. Reuben and pastrami are authentic. It may be like a NY Deli, but I am from Chicago and it's old school on taste and authenticity.

Reuben good

By The Pedestrian |

Wow, we ordered Deli's famous Reuben sandwich. It was a large open faced corn beef et al. It was juicy and delicious. The wait staff was spot on. The other family members enjoyed their eggs and pastrami/corn beef/salami and eggs Benedict plates. This time it was good from start to finish. We also had the pleasure of meeting, the hands on owner, Zorik. We highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain

Deli is always good

By nat1225 |

As it was a cold day, we stopped for matzo ball soup and shared a corned beef sandwich as well. Of course we ordered fries with it. They advertise themselves as a New York deli and they live up to that reputation. The menu is extensive but we tend to gravitate to the same few items that we know will be good. .

Deli delightful and delicious

By Stanley F |

Having eaten at a large number of delis in places like New York City and MontrÈal, it was refreshing that we were able to enjoy the foods we had become accustomed to in Dallas. Who would have thought we would stumble across such a gem.

Finally, a Deli

By JParlante |

I've seen this place from the outside a few times and finally tried it for lunch. This is a deli. The bakery counter has delicious stuff to help you with your diet! The potato salad is sweet (and good). The chicken salad is good. The kaiser roll is good. You get a tray full of pickles. The chicken barley soup is good. And the waitress will help you with your 'Words with Friends' game!

Take out.

By Raymond M |

Place has not slipped a bit. We were in town for the weekend. Stopped by for some items from the bakery and a couple of sandwiches. Everything was great, as expected. Lots of meat on the sandwiches and the bakery items were so good.

Great deli!

By gogigi2014 |

We were hungry for a New York deli and this came close. Loved the pickles, pastrami, whole wheat bagels, and fries. Give it a try.

Dinner out

By Tom Olsen |

While staying in New Paltz, My wife and I had dinner at this beautiful restaurant. The staff are friendly and, courteous. The food was delicious and plentiful. The price is comparable. If in the area, this place is a definite go and experience. Well worth the visit.

best Deli in Dallas

By Tom R |

The quality of the food was excellent as was the service. I ordered a corned beef and pastrami sandwich and was very pleased. It is a large quantity and great quality. The price is not cheap but well worth it. I will definitely go back often.

Great spot!

By Raymond M |

We try to stop in any time we are in the area. Great Bagels, made in New York up to the boiling stage, then frozen and shipped south. They bake them off in the deli. Sandwiches are all huge. Split one for a reasonably size lunch. Don't miss the baked goods up front.

Very Disappointed in Quality and Price

By QuadJB |

We decided to go out for breakfast on Sunday morning to the recently opened Deli News. We were looking forward to trying some of the great items listed on the menu. The food was quite pricey but we don’t mind paying for good quality food, so we ordered. I do want to add that we were the only people in the restaurant at 8am, I guess I should have known there was a reason for that. Below is what was ordered, the price and a critique on the item. Bacon & Egg sandwich $7.99, was average, 3 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs, hash browns had a weird metallic taste. Grits $2.99, the best thing I had. Eggs Benedict $12.99, runny, improperly poached eggs, one very thin slice of Canadian bacon, and so-so Benedict sauce. Corned Beef hash $5.99, very few potatoes, smashed down and grilled corned beef, tasted kind of strange like it had been grilled on the same grill as the metallic tasting potatoes. Chocolate milk $2.99 white milk with Hershey’s syrup Black & White cookie $2.99 wrapped in plastic so the frosting was soggy, they need to taste a Carlos Bakery’s Black & White cookie as it is 1000% better. Coke $2.99. The server was pleasant but didn’t exactly win me over with good service. We had to get the server’s attention to refill the coke instead of her automatically coming and asking, or even checking to see how things were. Remember we were the only two people eating there, so it’s not like she was that busy. All in all a breakfast that cost us $50 (with tip) when McDonalds quality and taste is better. Sure don’t see how this place will make it if they don’t change things fast. I know we won’t be back and won’t tell our friends to visit either. Really too bad as Frisco could use a good quality deli.

Dagwood sandwiches!

By IDigWine |

This is the epitome of a kosher deli! At all angles. The meats are truly authentic, the bagels are flown in from NY, the sweets are authentic Jewish stuff. Always a great stacked up sandwich with great dill pickles and amazing potato salad or Cole slaw. There is no mystery why this place is always packed. Go there. I've been there many times and they take great care of you

Go there!!

By Ofcgil |

What a surprise,a Kosher style deli in Dallas that was outstanding. When you walk in it's like being in New York or southeast Florida.I had the corned beef hash which was one of the best I have eaten anywhere. My friend had an omlet which she said was great.Service was outstanding and the prices are right.GO THERE!!!

Great Deli

By cirozz |

Came here with 2 friends, and really enjoyed ourselves. .. the food the service was great. .. we had matzo ball soup Ruben sandwich lox and Bagel. And for dessert 7 layer cake and macaroon. . Perfection definitely worth a try;)

Good not great. Pricey for amount of food.

By Brantley H |

To be clear, the food was decent. Not on par with other NYC style deli’s i’ve visited. Great decor, feel about the place. We expected counter order based on the emphasis on the deli counter/behind the counter in the restaurant’s theme. It was waiter/waitress service, probably would be better as a counter order concept similar to a number of deli’s. Hot corned beef sandwich was very good but small portion of meat made the meat/bread ratio off. Decent lunch with the wife but lacking for a $30+ lunch for 2.

All Time Favorite Brunch Place

By Viv G |

Place is always crowded over the weekend. Ppl sometimes wait in line outside the front door, because it's worthy it. Order the omelette extravaganza. It lives up to its name.

Excellent Meal

By William V |

We went to Deli News about 10:00 AM and only waited 5 minutes. Service was excellent and so was the food. Soup was very good and the breakfast was plentiful. Everything was very tasty and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend this place.

Great To Go!

By MrsBBT |

Great sandwich - enough meat for 2! Pastrami on rye with just the right amount of mustard. Anxious to try breakfast soon!

Fabulous Deli

By WDWfan81 |

Great pastrami sandwich...meat was delicious and thick and rye bread was wonderful. Hubby had corned beef which was also excellent. Also liked the potato salad. Apparently plenty of people enjoy the breakfast here as it was full of people still having breakfast at noon Saturday. Can't wait to come here again to try another menu item! Service was also spot on.

The Real Deal In Dallas

By Malcolm G |

Having traveled to New York and eaten at the Carnegie Deli and Katz's Deli I have experienced what all the fuss is about when it comes to great deli's. In Dallas we are not overrun with great delis and in fact there is only one truly authentic deli and that is Deli News. They smoke their own meats and it shows. They have all the authentic mile high sandwiches the genre is known for and the taste does not disappoint. The open faced ruben is one of the best I've had, and the ABC sandwich with hand cut roasted turkey and house smoked pastrami is unbelievable. Their sandwiches come with a side of cole slaw or their homemade potato salad that I have tried many times (but failed) to get the recipe for. They also have soups that can cure the common cold including a great matzo ball, chicken noodle, and chicken barley. They also have less common soups like Borscht (served hot or cold), and an amazing sweet cabbage soup. The place has the slightly run down feel of a neighborhood spot but it is clean and professionally run. The service can be a little "New York" for Dallas tastes, but that is part of the experience!
