Off the beaten path

By JWF9 |

After spending an afternoon strolling and sampling mojitos in Little Havana, we followed the recommendation of a bartender to dine at Doce Provisions rather than one of the touristy spots on Ocho Calle. So happy we followed her advice, the food was fabulous far exceeding what I have had on previous visits when dining in Little Havana. Quaint and limited menu, but everything we tried was perfect. Very reasonable prices and excellent service.

One of the highlights of my trip to Miami

By clh622 |

We found Doce Provisions in a search online and I’m glad we did. The service was great, the food was hot, tasty, and the portions were a good size. We wanted to try Cuban food and Dice Provisions is described as a cuban, soul, asian fusion place. I think we got a legitimate Cuban food experience. The plantains were my favorite and they were the best I've had. The chargrilled brussel sprouts & cauliflower dish was awesome. The chorizo croquettes had a nice mix of texture and flavor and the empanadas were wonderful. My friend had the shrimp tacos and liked them a lot. The sangria was pretty good too. I'd definitely go back to Doce Provisions if ever visiting Miami again.

Great food

By Matt2 |

Amazing food will be coming back soon thank you for the good service ! And hospitality would be looking forward to come and enjoy those chicken and waffles

Perhaps the best restaurant ever

By olli |

Truly excellent food, good service! Maybe the best restaurant food I have ever got. Tuna taquitos and Ropa Vieja were amazing and Flan Cubano better than any creme caramel ever.

Worth a Trip to Miami For

By Howard B |

We heard about Doce Provisions from Food Network when Guy Fieri paid a visit there. I don't often note down a restaurant based on watching a TV show, but I did make a note to look for this place next time we would be in the Miami area. We did better than write the note, we went there and had an exceptional dinner experience. We started with The Guac which is served with Tostones (flattened fried plantains), which was excellent. I chose the Aroz Imperial Cubano, which is served paella style. There are several optional additions that can be ordered. I chose to add shrimp to mine. The dish was extraordinary. Every component was cooked and flavored perfectly. My wife, who has become somewhat of an expert in Cubano sandwiches ordered the El Cubano Sandwich. It must be noted that this sandwich is available in limited quantity. The chef only orders a limited amount of Cuban bread to build his masterpiece upon. We got there early with the hope of getting one. My wife was fortunate in that she got the sandwich, which she then declared to be the best sandwich she has ever had, not just Cuban, but any sandwich. This is a remarkable place. The slogan on their website is "Locally Sourced and Crafted With Love". I don't need to add anything to that description.

Great Find!

I love this place and I'm so glad that we found it. I had Masa De Puerco Chino and my fiance had a salmon salad. I also had a Moscow Muel and she had Watermelon Sangria. Everything was amazing including service! Highly Recommend!

Brunch

We decided to visit based on the great reviews. We loved everything we ordered, the food and drinks are well executed. I can’t eait to try other dishes.

Delightful find

By jsanch51 |

What a great place. This is restaurant that has four tables in the front and a nice courtyard behind that will soon open with live music. You are allowed to bring your own liquor. Food is incredible. We had short rib tacos, tuna toast, masa de puerco chino which brings fried rice with maduros in it. The short rib burger is incredible. If you try the mac and cheese which comes with shrimp in it you will think it is the best you ever had. For desert we had a guava con queso empanada that is served with coconut espuma. Incredible.

Amazing food and service

By Quin H |

We decided to check this restaurant out after looking for a good brunch place near Little Havana. Service was excellent. The wait staff had a very community approach and assisted one another. The food presentation was excellent. We enjoyed the lechón tacos for an appetizer, and shared the brisket Mac and cheese and chicken and waffles for our entree. The food was amazing and will definitely return during future Miami trips!

Excellent cuban food

By WaltherIncurable |

In Cuba I was told that the best Cuban food is found in Miami. I wouldn't know about that, but this is by far the best Cuban I've eaten and a **** better than what I got in Cuba. The waiter was super cool and helpful. There's a patio outside but we chose inside dining since the weather was rather warm even for our taste. We shared some lovely starters and then I had the Arrow Imperial Cubano, which was nothing like I expected but simply awesome. We left a whole lot of food, so we could have shared three entrees between the four of us. Even if the dishes were fabolous, we just couldn't finish them.

Great Food, Good Venue

By Nathan H |

I have never experienced Cuban cuisine prior to today, but Doce set an extremely high bar for future experiences. The food was excellent, but the venue was a little small. They did have a terrace, but it was closed due to inclement weather. The staff was welcoming and very helpful in choosing the right meal. I would definitely visit again.

Sunday Lunch

By jareces1 |

Came for lunch for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Delicious food, simple menu but everything we ordered was very tasteful. The service was good. It's small but there is an outside area that I think would be great in the late afternoon.

First rate in all ways

By baywanderer |

The food was very high in quality. It was so special that we went back during our one week stay in Miami. Be sure to dine in the outdoor courtyard with its interesting murals and lovely garden setting. On both visits, the staff was both friendly and very helpful.

Great Place!

By Jonathan H |

Everything was fantastic. Service, food, atmosphere - all great. Have the Brussels Sprouts & The Cubano. You won't be sorry. Thanks for the great experience, Jesus!

Fantastic food and service in Little Havana

By Joanne L |

We visited Doce in Little Havana for lunch during our March Break vacation. The service was great and the food amazing. We had the burrata, tostones, chicken waffles, pad thai, short rib burger, croquettes. Way too much food but we wanted to try everything. Lots of parking on 12th Ave right in front. Definitely will be back on our next trip to Miami!

Great Meal

By James |

We enjoyed the ambiance of the back patio. The black cherry sangria was very good. They have good non-alcoholic lemonade options. We thought the menu was very interesting, there were several dishes we wished we were unable to try. The chorizo croquettes in particular were very good. Our preferred entree was the arroz imperial dish - it was topped with melty queso and had crispy rice on the bottom of the pan like a good paella.

Cuban food restaurant worth to go

By Paulo_MSP |

We loved this place - my wife and I were looking for a Cuban restaurant and this one filled all the boxes. Great food, ambience, service at good price. First time we went, our server was Valentina, nice lady, friendly, efficient with a big smile. We liked so much that we went back again one week later. Seats indoor and outdoor in a very nice patio with a lot of green plants and very efficient ventilation to beat Miami heat.

Great Cuban cuisine

By Rob G |

Food was amazing and so was the staff. The garden in the back had a great atmosphere and was perfect.

Little Cuba

Vacation dinner with new friends at Doce provisions. This restaurant deserves 10 put of 5 stars. The culinary presentation, the quality of food. And the waiting staff is phenomenal

Lovely food and ambiance

By DMF |

Our first trip to Little Havana, and I am so glad I booked a table here. Our waitress Mimi was outstanding! She made me the best mojito ever, and gave us advice on what food to order. The portions are very, very generous, so keep that in mind when ordering. I had the mahi mahi, and it was fantastic.

Truffle fries & craft beer....YAAAS

By jetsetMar |

YAAAS: Since my friend and I were in the area for Miami Motel Stories, we did a quick search for a pre-event dinner. After seeing such great raves, we decided to dine here and so glad we did. Funny I had dined in this space when it was another establishment. It still has it's cool chill wooden decor. Plus with the friendly vibe from the staff - it made for a delightful dining experience. We were there early (5:30pm) so we had the whole restaurants to ourselves. We ordered the croquetas (voted best in Miami)...deliciously tasty...but another place still holds my foodie heart ;) The fried chicken and waffle was a roller coaster of flavors for our taste buds...a hit. Yet let's talk about the truffle fries. Just order them, you will not regret it. They also served a good selection of craft beers. PERO: Not really anything to point out as the experience was great. Only wished they offer happy hour specials. Overall, I'm so coming back again - back for those fries and more.

Good food and nice outdoor sitting

By vgyt |

We were at this restaurant with friends and family. The entrance might definitely disappoint you but there is a great backyard area for outdoor sitting. We also had a good dj for great latin music. The food is variety of Cuban specialities with modern touch and look. All foods are greatly prepared and tastes really good. Mojito is a must. It is a bit pricey but it was good fun. The service was friendly and very responsive.

Excellent and fun dinner

By Tom W |

This is a neighborhood restaurant in Little Havana. We may have been the only tourists there that evening; they treated us with such graciousness and hospitality that dinner was a delight. Everything we had was delicious. Beware - the restaurant is a little hard to find, as the exterior is just a small picture window and a door. But find the door, go through it and have a wonderful meal.

Must try when in the Little Havana

By Kristyrichtr |

Found this place on yelp and after reading some reviews (and seeing a picture of their adorable little garden) we decided to give it a go. As it was like a hundred degrees outside we appreciated the very cold air that welcomed us inside, together with the complimenatary icy water with lemon served in mason jars. Eating with 3 children under 13 we very much liked the friendly staff who gave us tips on what to share, plus they prepared some of the startes in a way it could be shared amongst five! You simply must try the waffle-banana-chicken that everyone is talking about, that is simply out of this world. Great food, nto a rip off, friendly and efficient staff. Loved it!

A hidden pearl

By A4114XBbrians |

This place is easy to miss, situated along a fairly big road, not much from the outside. However, the experience inside was excellent. Varied menu, reasonable prices and fast serving. Waiter recommended dolphin and it was a awesome. Also the charred salmon was top quality with a squeeze of chorizo. Don’t miss this experience

A HIDDEN GEM IN LITTLE HAVANA

By Miles Archer |

Unimpressive from the front, but we took a table outside in the rear. Plenty of room. We dined on chorizo and tacos and ropa vieja. Very tasty indeed. We washed it down with red sangria and white sangria. So much good food. A hidden gem in Little Havana.

Don’t think twice, must try!

By LondonParis2009 |

We drove by looking for authentic Cuban sandwich and quickly researched this spot. Reviews were positive so we parked and so glad we did. I recommend the short rib burger, short rib Mac and cheese, the chicken and waffles, short rib tacos, Brussels sprouts, chorizo croquettes. All delicious! The desserts are all tasty, you can’t go wrong. Especially enjoyed the playlist, the music was 80’s classic rock. Awesome!!

Cuban Food with a Twist

By vicasi1411 |

Being Cuban, I love Cuban food, but sometimes I get tired of the same thing food made the same way. This place has the food I love with a twist, they vamped it up. There are so many delicious things on the menu it's hard to choose. They menu is very creative, the location is good but parking is not the best, but it's worth looking for parking, prices are decent and the service was good. We wanted to try the desserts but we were just to full. Next time!

Hidden GEM

By Jay A |

This place is small and easy to miss but if you are anywhere close you NEED to eat here. The food is amazing! The staff is uber friendly. We all ordered something different and ended up sharing to get the full experience of the food. Hands down some of the best tasting food I've had

You need to eat here. cuban/caribbean yes?

By JimboNorth |

After days of end of day scrambling to find places to eat after longs days of touristing, we came upon this gem of a restaurant. Being they had a reggie station playing when we arrived only served to seal the deal. Without getting into the recipe details allow me to say that this place offered vegetarian options as well as carnivore options. The flavor blends were cuban inspired, but reached beyond their shores and were also rooted in the Caribbean. And, then, there was the mojito. "after a week of dining out in Wynwood, SoBe and Miami, this is the best drink I have had in Miami." reasonably priced.

This place is amazing

By NORMAN Q |

WOW, This place is amazing. We had a pitcher of the Black Berry Red Sangria, this was the best Sangria I have ever had. We ordered two Appetizers to share, one was called The Guac (tostones, pickled fresno, queso fresco) And the other appetizer was called Vaca Frita Tostones (Crisp Shredded Beef in Mojo, Homemade Maduro Tostones Aji Amarillo Aioli. Pickled Onion) they were both amazin, I can’t remember having better appetizers anywhere before ,everybody at the table loved them. My daughter had two appetizers as her entrée they were, Wok Charred Brussels and Shrimp Po’ Boy Tacos, I didn’t try them but she was very happy with them. The rest of us had the same entrée it was called Abuelas Ropa Vieja (A Cuban Classic Done Right! with Jasmine Rice, Fresh Cut Sweet Plantains, Watercress Slaw) It was very very good The inside dining room is very small but the outside courtyard in the back is very large and inviting so we sat out back Everybody on the staff was friendly and had a smile on the face and the waitress that we were lucky to have was very friendly and good one of my better dining experiences ever If you have a chance to go I would say definitely go!

Restaurant appears to have closed — no communication

By Stuart B |

We had a confirmed booking through OpenTable for Saturday, 26th July at 7pm. When we arrived, the place was completely closed — no sign of activity. We tried contacting them by phone, email, and Instagram but received no response. They’ve since disappeared from OpenTable too. Very disappointing, especially as we were really looking forward to dining here.

great small spot

By Ja Bu |

went in with a co worker to try something new and even tho they didn't have an item on the menu available the manager suggested a different option and I was amazed on how good the plate was.. the lemonade was fresh and service was attentive.

Good and friendly

By Ashley E |

The staff was friendly and the food was good. They barely speak english, but they try hard! So nothing wrong with that.

Beautiful

By Elfma |

Tucked away in Little Cuba. Unassuming front entrance gives no hint of the large outdoor dining area in back. Exceptionally friendly staff. We were knocked out by the passion fruit mojitos, the tuna tartare tacos and the goat cheese croquetas. Huge mains at reasonable prices; try Abuelas special or the mahi with coconut creme.

Delicious food

By Kralmar |

Delicious food for a very good price! Everything was so tasty. The place looks also very pretty. Can recommend this place!

Excellent

By R. K. V. |

Fantastic. Exceptional take on tasty latin dishes. Extraordinary take on Latin American cuisine. Good service. Good value for money

Eclectic little gem

By Machet |

Turned on to this inconspicuous little place by a friend . The food is Cuban/ Caribbean / American combination . Imaginative fare with wonderful ingredients that seem to play so well together . Had chorizo croquetas appetizer along with some Rubia beer , for main course fried chicken on a waffle and pork bellies in guava garlic cream sauce with truffle fries . The coconut tres leches for desert was delish. Friendly service and mixed clientele of locals ,tourist both young and old. Location is in established working neighborhood in little Havana . Indoor and outdoor seating available , will definitely be back .

Modern take on traditional Cuban cuisine in Little Havana

By henry v |

You’ll be impressed and surprised at the food here. The service is excellent and friendly and the outdoor eating area reminds one of a urban beer garden. Great Cuban sandwiches are a staple and try the taco appetizers too.

Fantastic date night

By Pirate917 |

Made dinner reservations for 7:45pm. Was very busy but seated inside right away. We asked to sit outside in the courtyard but all tables were occupied. The hostess surprised us and remembered that we asked for an outside table, so ten minutes later when they had a table available they asked if we wanted to move. Excellent customer service. Our server Daniella was fantastic. Her knowledge and recommendations were spot on but I don’t know if you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Mojo’s were excellent. The pork buns were fantastic! And the Little Bird (their take on chicken and waffles) were some of the best, if not the best, I’ve ever had. And I am a big lover of chicken N waffles. Portion size was good, we were full and didn’t try dessert so can’t say much there. Parking can be an issue so get there before your reservation time. Over all we loved our experience and will gladly return.

So good

By miamifamfest |

Hidden gem. Food here is amazing. The hidden patio area is divine. Not your typical little Havana restaurant. So much better.

Very cool place, inventive food

By kcanavan2010 |

Little Havana is becoming a popular spot. this corner has a bakery and the Doce Provisions restaurant next door. The food is very inventive, nouveau Latin/cuban. It is not fancy but a very good casual dinning. Beer selection is small. the terrace is very nice and the decor Hipster trendy

Wonderful meal and experience

By lefont71 |

I recently visited Miami and had dinner with colleagues at this restaurant. Inside the ambience was nice but they had a beautiful patio out back that connected other businesses in the block. The meal was great, we had some of the small plates and the larger plates and everything was top notch, except for the dessert (only criticism). I will go back to this place next time I'm in Miami.

Run, don’t walk for some of the best Cuban inspired food you’ll ever have.

By Ellen G |

One of the best meals I’ve ever had and certainly the best on our trip to Miami. Helpful and friendly staff, amazing dishes, and top notch drinks. My group has a member who is gluten free and the restaurant did everything to keep him safe.

Little Havana surprise

By aliciarealtor |

Great surprise smack in the middle of Little Havana. Cuban with infusion eating that will have you going back. Beer, Latin eats, croquetas even Brussels sprouts. Quaint and pleasant.

Great place to go before Heat game

By Martu719 |

We took a chance and stopped before going to a Heat game. So glad we did since I had been wanting to visit for a while. They did not have seating available inside (so glad) so they walked us to their outdoor seating area. Enchanting terrace with a very "Miami" vibe. The service was spot on and the food was worth the wait. Guac with tostones, pork chunk buns were out of this world. We tried the chorizo croquetas, short rib tacos, cauliflower with brussel sprouts all memorable. Will definitely return. Loved the ambiance...relaxing and visually appealing.

Went for a staff birthday

By Jacquie V |

Came for a staff birthday party. This place is awesome. I had the passion fruit lemonade. They have a wine license so next time clandestine Tito’s for the lemonade We had the award winning chorizo croquetas, the goat Cheese croquetas as well as the Disco fries as appetizers. The croquetas are all amazing. For lunch we ordered the abuela vaca frita...a modern twist on a classic; the fried chicken with guava and waffles (perfecting the southern classic), the Thai noodles with chicken, the pork fried rice (yum), and the salmon with boniato puré. Everything was delicious. Bravo.

Delicious Little Gem

By Zeenalpatel |

My husband and I came here for lunch last weekend and we enjoyed it so much! It's right in little havana. Super small and cute restaurant with a farm to table vibe with an open kitchen. It's bright inside and the decor is nice. The ahi tuna toast and El cubano sandwich are so so good. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. Everything goes together so well. The service was quick too! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for delicious fresh food.

Good Food Bad Service

By hockeypuck9399 |

The food was good, but portions were small and overpriced. I didn't think the service was very good as they basically pushed us out the door during a rainstorm to open up the table after they had the door locked for an hour to keep people out. Next time I'm in Miami I'll go elsewhere.

Excellent Lunch

By PMR5511 |

My wife and I had an excellent meal at Doce. We ordered an appetizer, two sides, and an entree. For appetizer the Guacamole which was served with tostones which was great. We then had the greens and the short rib tacos. For the main entree we split the short rib burger. I would recommend. We also sat outside which is great. We will be back.

Latin Flavor Explosion

By Lagniappe22 |

The food here is excellent and the service is very friendly. I highly recommend the chorizo coquettes. The area the restaurant in seems a bit sketchy. The restaurant is small and seating is limited. The food is well worth tolerating the tight seating.

Got can't eat here if you're a party of 1... seriously!

By Tabetha K |

I never ever leave bad reviews because you never know what's going on behind the scenes that makes your experience bad. HOWEVER, THEY WILL NOT SIT A PARTY OF 1 ON THE PATIO🤯 I travel often and always alone. I already feel our of place when I'm going into a nicer restaurant.... but they literally will not accommodate a party of 1 on there patio. only inside which is like a time out table with 3 hightops literally on the waiting area! Not only was I embarrassed but I'm also still hungry.... after I drove from ft Lauderdale just to eat here. I'm super disappointed.

Amazing restaurant near the heart of Little Havana

By Kristof V |

When my friend and I decided we wasn't something a bit different we were lucky enough to end up at Doce Provisions. A small but modern and cosy place where each item on the menu seemed like a little treasure. After the excellent chorizo croquettes and great sprouts I tried the arroz special and my friend the Mahi-Mahi. We were completely blown away! To top it of with a Cuban coffee and we had the perfect meal to get the evening started.

A hidden gem in Little Havana

By PopArtLife_Za |

We heard about this place and many people gave it rave reviews online. So we decided to give it a try. When in Miami you want to eat all the Cuban inspired foods. Little Havana in Miami is home to some great Cuban restaurants and takeaways. This won't disappoint. Totally delicious and tasty food in abundance. Big portions, well-presented and packaged exquisitely! The food looked too pretty to eat but we dived in. Yummy! This is by far the most delicious tacos we've tasted in Miami. We ordered a variety of dishes... Farm Greens with Shrimps, BBQ short rib taco, shrimp Po' Boy Taco (sorry no picture as we devoured these in seconds - heavenly!!), El Cubano - a pulled pork toasted sandwich and Pan Con Bistec - which is a steak sandwich with shiitake mushrooms, shallot marmalade, truffle cheese fonduta. All simply delicious! It's been opened less than a year and is slowly gaining popularity. I'm certain this is going to become a hot spot. Open daily except Monday's, and serves brunch on weekends. One thing I love about USA is their weekend brunches served all day! Whether 9am or 4pm ... You can enjoy brunch on the weekend. Being a regular in NYC, I find Miami huge and large, a car rental would have been a good idea! Spending a lot on taxi fares to explore becomes a huge cost. We stayed at the Miami Edition Hotel and this was a good 30 minute ride to Doce Provisions, costing minimum $30 one-way! No wonder our concierge was a bit hesitant and did not recommend this place. The distance is far from South Beach and perhaps not many tourists are going to make the effort to take a 30 minute taxi ride for tacos! But now that I've tasted their tacos, I would travel the distance and enjoy the delicious food! A new favorite on my list for Miami. If you don't mind a taxi ride to Little Havana if you in South Beach then give this one a try.

Light lunch

By Family4go |

Great little place with good food Try the short rib tacos I reordered as soon as I finished first portion 2 tacos/tortillas per portion We found this place after looking for little Havana -while in little Havana Little Havana is not what we expected at all Driving in circles trying to find a place we was already in. Ha ha

Must visit

By Brian M |

Love this place. I've had everything on the menu and has always exceeded my expectations. I return every time I'm in the area for work. A must visit if you're in the area for a Marlins game.

I exceed my expectations

By Edgardo1959 |

It really exceeded my expectations, excellent food, the place is small, very well decorated, and the food is very very good, it is worth getting away from the beach a little to get to know it, super attentive service as well. Super recommended

Great Cuban/Latin fusion fare

By Todd B |

We're locals/regulars; it has a unique vibe, great food and service and it's a nice change of pace from the traditional touristy/mojito spots.

Great Backyard Area

By 559jas |

My wife and I have been to Doce Provisions twice. The 1st time we went it seemed a bit empty. We found it peculiar that service was a bit slow. We would later find out that there is a nice back area where most people go for their experience. On our 2nd visit, we sat in the back with friends and loved the atmosphere. Service was still a bit slow but I wasn't too surprised by that given Miami has a reputation for that. On my first visit, my wife and I shared the chicken and waffles. It was okay. I the flavor of the batter on the chicken was good but I felt that the chicken itself had no flavor. The guava jelly sauce was a nice touch. The 2nd time around I had the masa de puerco. It was different. Not quite what I expected. I felt it was more Chinese and less Latin. Maybe that was what they were going for. The flavor was okay. Lots of rice. We brought our own bottles of wine. The cork fee is $10 per bottle (my wife asked and called several times verifying this) but be careful. When we received the bill they charged us a $15 cork fee per bottle.

Great food/18 % service charge (which is not toward tip) is not cool

By kem1218 |

Loved the food. Surprise exorbitant “service charge” is obscene. It does not go toward tip and hurts servers. Would not go back bc this is unethical.

Excellent Vaca Frita

By Army93 |

Cuban restaurant just off the busy Calle Ocho, visited after it was recommended to us by a local. Quiet atmosphere, menu not too varied, I particularly recommend the truly exceptional vaca frita! For two it costs around $70.

Yum!

The best part of our day trip to Miami

The best part of our day trip to Miami!! The food & service were outstanding. Especially the crispy Brussel sprouts, po’boy shrimp tacos & el cubano sandwich.

Great food and presentation. Very friendly and helpful service. Easy to find and the staff was very helpful in describing the food.

Great Cuban Fusion

By Vagamunda |

Great little Cuban Fusion place in Little Havana. Very unassuming but once you walk in the door you’ll know you hit a jackpot! Started our meal with the chorizo croquettes. Delish!! Our waiter Rueben informed us the restaurant won a recent award for their croquettes and they were in fact very good! We ordered the Ropa Vieja and Arroz Imperial with avocado. Excellent choice for us to share. The tostones were perfectly fried and the cheese on the Ropa Vieja perfectly toasted and melted. I accompanied my meal with an original mojito. Everything was perfect. Even the waiter Rueben who also gave us some tips for when we visit the Keys!

Great food, super price, warm service.

By Ron |

Simple: very good all around. Menu was enticing, the prices were good and the flavors were totally delightful. Go for it.

Excellent food and ambiance with outdoor garden seating. Generous portions for the price. Great service (they even called us when we left a jacket behind!).

Yummy!!

By vfata |

Tastey food - good price for yummy food! Phad Thai & guacamole was delicious. You can walk to 18th Street for a few blocks to see little Havana after!

Great food

By Dena R |

We came here for lunch and I was very surprised with the mix of flavors that they offer. Service was good. There’s a patio that we didn’t see but the indoor area is very cozy and small. I’d come back.

MUST GO!

By randyc776 |

This place is phenomenal. We tried half the menu and absolutely loved every bite. Espresso was great too! Staff was friendly and personable and food was brought to the table promptly. It’s a small restaurant so definitely get there early for lunch if you don’t want to be kept waiting!

Drive Ins, Diners, and Dives!

By Suzanne W |

Yes, Guy Fieri had this little restaurant with an outdoor patio for dining on cool Miami days on his show! The food is made to order and absolutely divine! They have craft beers but the passionfruit lemonade is thirst quenchingly delicious. Bring your flask with rum or vodka! The Masa de Puerto Chino is the Doce version of a scrumptious fried rice. Can't get enough of it. Save room for the dessert; key lime pie in a Mason jar! Delicious!

Hole in the Wall but Great Food

By drajhansa4 |

It’s easy to miss and there’s not any parking but this place has great food. It had loud piped in music on my Thursday visit and a wine and beer selection with great sangria.

Cuban fusion

By Deborah K |

I originally thought this was a fully authentic Cuban restaurant and was quite excited but when I realized it was a fusion type, I became apprehensive. Historically speaking, my experiences with fusion restaurants have been mediocre food that isn't a very accurate take on the cuisine in question. I was pleasantly surprised by the dishes that came out. The churassco truffle was delicious and the fried rice dish was brilliantly put together with excellent texture and marriage of flavours and ingredients. Staff were friendly and not overly attentive but a little slow. The location is far from the main area of Little Havana so there is a trek but worth it. We were seated indoors on a hot day so that was nice but on a sunny day, it would have been nice to be seated on a shaded patio or something.

Best Cuban sandwich ever!

By Peter A |

We had a wonderful lunch at Doce Provisions. The entrance to the restaurant is very understated. Don’t be dissuaded. We were seated in their beautiful outdoor courtyard in the rear of the building. Chris waited on us and he was attentive and answered our questions about the menu. The Cuban sandwich was very tasty and had a kick to it. It was fantastic. The chorizo croquettes were delicious. The Guacamole was solid. Everything we had was flavorful and fresh. The Mohitos were outstanding as well. This place is a gem and it is a must visit!

Good food

By LifeAsABackpacker |

We were staying close by and walked by this place. Food was really tasty and each of our dishes were various types of cuisine so I would label this place as a certain food type. Range of craft beers was good and sat in the rear patio area we had a delightful meal. Only criticism was the service was slow and we had to remind the server of certain things on two occasions.

Dinner

By Ronald |

Location and look from outside is a sleeper. You would never expect to find such a high grade cuisine coming from this hole in the wall. When I entered the establishment I had to take a double take as it was confusing while comparing outside and inside. Once seated we tried an array of appetizers. This too was very unexpected. We will hate to share this restaurant with everyone but its a shame not to share such good tasting cuisine. Chef/Owner knows very well what he is doing. This will be frequented by us.

Awesome

I visited Doce Provisions in December while in Miami. I'm not expert when it comes to Cubaan food but I know when the food is good. We had Crispy Brussels, Chorizoa Croquettes and BBQ tacos as starters. All was well cooked and tasty but Crispy Brussels was best experience because I really liked the taste though I'm definately not a friend of carliflower. Or to put it more precise: I wasn't before. As a main me, my wife and my mother shared Masa de Puerco Chino and Little Bird Fried Chicken. Fantastic. (Other was family meal ie meant to be shared by two.) Our teenagers took all Short Rib Burgers and fries as a side. The size of burger was so big that only the seventeen year old athletic was able to eat both burger and all fries. We couldn't really handle dessert after starters and quit large mains, but manage to do one Coconut Rum Tres Leches shared by four person. I highly recommend. Good service, excellent food and decently priced.

Unexpected Gem

By Ozmanfl A |

Well what can I say except Delicious Cuban taste with a twist I can go on but it is a must visit spot in the heart of Miami very chill spot and the food was amazing. The appetizers try them all very affordable i myself had the chino dish Cuban style Chinese rice smothered with fried pork chunks and garnished with sweet plantains doesn't sound like much but not a dish you can find at most Cuban places especially with the pork chunks Delicious!!! Go Check It Out you will not be disappointing. PS You have to order the chorizo croquettes.

Great Cuban Food!

Love Cuban Food and this place fit the bill! By the time we got here, riding the hop on/off bus, we were really ready for a good meal in a latin ambience. Watch out for their mojitos though! Potent!

A+

Amazing. Consistent. Everything was good, nice ambiance, and does not break the bank. There is plenty of street parking around

DEFINITELY we will come back!

By Phuong N |

We showed up without reservation but we got a table at the back patio immediately. The patio was very cozy and simple but nice decorated. Food were fabulous! Tasty, good portion and beautiful presentation. We had croquets chorizo, Brussels sprout, Masa…, po-boy tacos, and leches. And the staff are awesome!

A great find in Little Havana

By berniek1949 |

Excellent food and service. This authentic Cuban restaurant offers many traditional Cuban dishes and some we never heard of. The waitress was wonderful in explaining the items on the menu. the food was so good we tried to eat everyting on their menu. Will definitely go back next time in the Miami area. Very reasonable prices!

Great food, ambiance and service- a must try restaurant

By LindaQ-NH |

After checking into our hotel, we asked for recommendations from the concierge and they said Doce immediately. Luis greeted us with humor and a really great personality. We wanted to try ALL the Tapas style starters, and he gave us good advice on choices. Short Rib Birria Tacos and Chorizo Croquettes were my favorites. The fun time, delicious food and relaxing environment on the patio made both our first night of vacation and our last night of vacation very memorable. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone in Miami, and when we return, we will absolutely stop here again.

A Wonderful Experience!

By Cassi |

My family and I felt welcomed and even though we are a bigger family we were accommodated quickly. Our waiter was very friendly and patient with us. He recommended the Bacon and Egg Arroz Frito, it was delicious! Not only did I enjoy my meal but my entire family did. It was also in a great location we were able to see Little Havana right after eating.

So delicious!!

By Donna C |

This restaurant has wonderful atmosphere in the garden! Omg so romantic and adorable. Best of all the food was so delicious! We decided we wanted to try all of the island fusion kinds of appetizers. We started with Black Cherry Sangria and a classic mojito. Both were great! Then we ordered four appetizers: The Fufu with Ropa Vieja was incredible crispy fried plantains were soft and yummy on the inside topped with well seasoned pork; the chorizo croquettes deserve their award winning status; the short rib tacos were a stand out for sure as well. We got two of the desserts: Dolce de Ameche and Coconut Tres Leches cake and they were the perfect ending to a perfect meal!

Outstanding Cuban/Spanish Food and service

By Donald M |

First trip to little Havana and to this restaurant. First hint, make sure you ask for outside dining. The back is an awesome courtyard. Also ask for Chris, one of the best waiters ever! His recommendations were spot on and we all loved our apps and main dishes. Very authentic food. The goat cheese app was really good. Also the best Sangria I’ve ever had, nice berry taste.

Great food

Good food thanks for the meals and for the drinks will be coming back soon !! Came alone to have lunch and staff are very attentive

A real gem.

By Felicity D |

What a great find this place was! A few streets off the main road but worth it completely. Food was delicious and service was friendly. Lovely little terrace out the back too.

Well worth off the main drag 2 blocks

Food was fresh / staff accommodating and nice patio out back. Had the pork “chunks” and fresh salad. Also they were closing up on Easter Sunday and they made time for me / did not rush me

Miami hole in the wall.

By Vangrieken |

The food here is exceptional. We pretty much tried everything on the menu and it’s all amazing. The best fried chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. We been going there since the opening and never had desert until now. The best Tres Leches of my life is served here. Also the guava pastry is to die for.

Fabulous Cuban sandwich

By Deborah S |

Find this little gem and order the Cubano sandwich. You will not be disappointed. If it is nice, sit in the back patio. The restaurant and the patio are little gems hidden in Little Havana. Food is top notch and staff is friendly and helpful.

Dinner Pre-show

By Lisa H |

I’m actually from Delaware and while watching food tv a couple of weeks ago this awesome gem was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives...it isn’t any of those but definitely in a rather random “off the beaten path” location in Little Havana. I was visiting my brother in South Beach and told him about it - we decided to go prior to a concert at the Knight Center in downtown MIA. Worth the trip! Fantastic service, spotless with cool decor, a little too hot and humid to sit outside but several groups of diners did - the back area is beautiful and would be a lovely family, date, or work outing experience. The black cherry sangria and passion fruit sangria was to die for - fruity and fresh and not too sweet. We got the famous chorizo croquettes, the Vaca Frita Tostones, a shrimp and puréed plantain dish, and a fried pork with plantain entree (looks like the most current menu isn’t loaded onto their site so I don’t remember the names). All were to die for. Make the trip to this authentic eatery!

Not worth it

Expensive, small portions, nor authentic If you want the real deal, and better price, go to versailles

Sunday brunch

By Lissette G |

This is a small restaurant with a nice backyard. Portions are small for the price but food is tasty. Out of all the dishes we ordered the burgers with fried cheese was the best. They also have children options but you need to ask because they don’t put it in the menu. Service was friendly. I do think that for the price portions could be a little bit bigger! It is a bit pricey. Overall I do think I will be back.

Excellent food and service!

By Atinuke S |

Food is sooo delicious. Service was great. We are only in Miami for a few days but my husband wants to go back for a second meal

Seriously?

By DawnG742 |

We called days before to ask about reservations and were told we didn't need them. We took them at their word. When we arrived, we were asked if we had a reservation. We were told they'd do the best they could to get us seated. Five other groups who came in after us had no reservations either. We had no problem waiting for 15 minutes. We were given seats on the patio and then the nightmare began. 1)It took 20 minutes before any waiter asked for our drink order or even acknowledged our existence. Those who came in after us had drinks and appetizers before anyone took our drink order. A hostess called off so our wait person tried to do two jobs. Admirable for everyone but us. 2) We ordered drinks and an appetizer. We had to go to the kitchen to ask for our appetizer after 20 minutes, based on how quickly everyone else was getting food. Every ten minutes we were told "a few minutes more," which was far from the truth. 3) After a wait of 45 more minutes, we went into the kitchen to find anyone who might know where our food was. The chef, who verified our meal ticket had been put in 45 minutes before, came out and said the food was on the way. That was an hour and 30 minutes after we arrived. He comped us with two desserts. Our bill had an 18% tip. For what?? Yes, I see that they automatically had the 18% and my husband is a 25% or more tipper for good food and service. So if you get bad service, I mean unbelievably bad service, you still pay an 18% tip. The food is as the other reviews said, unique and very good. I'm sure the response to this review will be, "we were short-staffed." We were the only ones without food. No other wait person noticed that? It seems there needs to be a better plan for busy days that are short staffed. "Just a few more minutes" only made us angrier as we watched others being seated and eating long after we arrived. "Oh no, let me see what is going on," might have worked better IF someone actually checked our order. If you eat here, please ask if they are short-staffed before you sit down.

Delightful Miami Meal

By ChiChiMa2 |

We're glad this was reservable with outdoor seating, which is how we landed here. My family overordered, naturally, because we wanted to try everything. We agreed that our daughter ordered the best, choosing the starter pork tacos as her main -- delicious. So were the chicken & waffles and ropa vieja, as well as the sangria. The outdoor patio area was really nice too.

What I've been waiting for!

By PaulSnood |

While not a huge fan of "traditional" Cuban food, I sometimes crave something a little more innovative with the same flavors, and Doce delivered. We tried the Chorizo Croquettes made with Miami Smokers Chorizo, which were perfectly greaseless with a mild chorizo flavor, the Quac which was standard but served with excellent fresh and likewise greaseless tostones instead of chips, and the Lechon Buns, a cool take on a Chinese Bao stuffed with delicious Lechon Asado. Although getting full we had to try their version of the Pan Con Bistec which was like an Cuban Philly Cheesesteak, and thoroughly amazing. We washed this all down with the fine El Hefe local draft beer from J.Wakefield Brewery which was perfect, so I''m looking forward to return and try everything else on the menu.

Great food, excellent staff

Great spot in little havana. Food was amazing and service was exceptional. Glad we decided to head here for a bite after exploring the area. Worth exploring if you're looking for something creative and tasty.

Best restaurant in Miami, by far.

By calinn_13 |

Best restaurant during our Miami trip by far. For 10 days and night we ate at some of Miami’s ‘best’ restaurant and nine could hold a candle to Doce. The garden area is a wonderful place to enjoy the best food in Miami. Every dish was delicious. I will definitely rerun next time when I am in Miami. Except this time I will go a lot more. Wonderful staff and service, everyone had a smile and a great attitude.

Great tasting food

By Mike B |

We were doing a 1 week whistle stop trip of southern Florida with 24 hours in Little Havana. Reception guy at our hotel recommended this place and glad he did. The flavours in the food were absolutely amazing and by far our best meal of the week. My only gripe is that we racked up a bill of $110 for 2 of us for 2 starters, 2 mains and 4 beers which was also by far the most expensive meal of the week.

Very creative and delicious latin influenced food safari

By DevinRex |

My son and I visited during our trip to Miami. Boy am I glad we found this place. It doesnt look like much from the outside but the inside is very nice and clean. We sat outside in their garden which was very comfortable. We shared two appetizers, the croquettes and the korean style tacos. Both were excellent. For dinner we had chicken and waffles, which were to die for. The perfect combination of crispy and spicy and sweet all blending together. The tres leches cake for dessert was over the top. Definitely stop here!

Great Cuban food and experience in Little Havana

By levskipper |

We found this great little local restaurant thru Trip Advisor. Small local place just off the main street. We asked some people coming out of the restaurant how was the food? They said everything was good. They were right. My wife and I had lunch there. It's a small place; perhaps a dozen tables. Locals were eating there in addition to tourists. My wife had the El Cubano sandwich which was the best we've had out of all the Cuban sandwiches we have eaten. I had (on the recommendation of our waitress) El Churrasco Skirt Steak with a bacon ponzo. This was excellent. I could cut the skirt steak with my fork. I had a local beer, and my wife had their sangria that was very good. The service was very good. This place is a must if you are in Little Havana.

Great food!

By Dena R |

First of all, this is not a cuban restaurant, so do not come here expecting your typical cuban dishes. This rest is so much better though! It offers a variety of dishes with a heavy cuban and asian influence. We visited for brunch and everything was very well presented and flavors are very well combined. The lechon buns and the truffle fries were our favorite but everything was delish. This is a great place for brunch, do not miss it!

Best dishes in Little Havana + exceptional service

By Rpcv79 |

I've had dinner here 3 times and have always enjoyed the exceptional food and service. Yesterday, we hosted a bday party in the patio for 25 people. The setup was lovely and perfect... until, a torrential rainstorm. The staff turned a chaotic situation into a great party. They did everything in their power to accommodate us and ensure a good time. Even with the rain and damp shoes, we had the best time with some of the best dishes in Little Havana. We are so grateful to all the staff, especially Diana, Cora, and the Chef and kitchen crew. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

WARNING!!! Don’t ask for water

By Ana |

WARNING!! They charge 18 % service charge on the BILL in Advance! I look on yelp mostly for restaurants when I travel, Food was ok... But what I felt was Horrible was when I ask for a cup of water after they mention the didn't have anymore diet cokes they brought me the smallest cup (like a tequila shot cup) of water I felt like it was on purpose So I can consume more!! NEVER AGAIN!!! After that I felt like if I was asking for free water when actually I was charge $120 for lunch

Great food and service

By Barbara R |

Saw this place on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives last night and had to try it. From appetizers to dessert, food was great and service excellent. Quaint ecelctic setting in the heart of Little Havana. Highly reccomend!

Better than anything on 12-17th

By nessica101 |

Deliciousness!!! Everything hit the spot. Luckily we ran into a frequent local and was recommended to first order the lechon asado buns. Order anything on the menu and you won't be disappointed. The garden in the back is the perfect place to relax, ambience great, and service friendly and fast. Did not try drinks, but saw other tables around ordered whole pitchers of sangria.

Great food!

Here we go! Miami's Cuban vibe at it's best!

Doce is what your looking for when you visit Little Havana restaurants. Whether visiting for a great lunch or seeking out a Cuban dinner with a creative twist, Doce provides an excellent menu that will leave you excited for your return! Don't miss the beautiful courtyard in the back soon to feature live music that will surely be a hit during the winter months. Doce Provisions is a great find.

The waitress was awesome!

By Henk B |

Yes, almost never we had such a kind, friendly, understanding and happy waitress before! We had some trouble to find Doce but it was worth it. We had dinner in the nice garden and the waitress did her utmost to satisfy us, gave us great advice and looked everywhere for ashtrays for the two cigarette addicts in our group. And how was the dinner? Excellent! Good fries, great burgers and croquettes, chicken and taco's.

Great food and service!!

By c0rinna22 |

Came here on sunday before heading to marlins park for baseball game and we were surprised at how good the food was. We didn't order much as we weren't too hungry but everything was really good. Truffle fries, island salad, and burrata cheese toast. We love it and the server was really nice and friendly too!

Perfect place to be introduced to Miami!

By wileyc0y0te |

I have never had an order where every single dish tasted perfect, yet Doce Provisions actually pulled it off! Great drinks, enjoyable food, and a great atmosphere make this a fun place to visit, and by far the best part of our time in Miami. I don't think this place is purely Cuban, but the Cuban dishes they do offer were done really well and definitely worth the visit.

Dinner

By Chantaye A |

I found the service to be okay. Not exactly friendly but not completely off putting. The little bird fried chicken entree and coconut rum tres leches dessert were both very good.

Fantastic- One of the BEST!

By JackNJacquie |

Awesome find! Impeccable service, colorful interior, super savory treats! Menu offers something for everyone. We were impressed by the meal presentation and enjoyed the friendly customer service. Chef is also quite engaging! Be sure to order a mojiito and “little bird”. ( if you know Roscoes in LA-this “bird” is better!)

Horrible food, service and ambiance!!!!!

By Frank G |

All the reviews about this place a so far off what I experienced. The food was previously cooked and therefore, not the best tasting!!! The waitress had zero knowledge of her menu. The food was dry and cold. The pork was rancid, the tostone were chewy and the meat old, dry and lacking flavor. As a Cuban born immigrant I take offense at what they are calling authentic Cuban food. A meal for three people was $120.00. that's crazy!!! 18 percent gratuity for horrible service, 25 dollars for tea. How can anyone write a positive review of this place. If you want real Cuban food go anywhere but here.

Go for the appetizers!

By lisitaromulo |

Came for brunch and dine in the outdoor patio and truly enjoyed the experience. I would recommend any of the appetizers, they were delicious! Overall the food was good as well as the drinks although I was more impressed by the appetizers. I recommend the chicken and waffles from the main course. Portions are very generous, can feed two easily. The staff is great and the prices are what you would normally pay in any restaurant of that caliber in Miami.

Beautiful Surprise

By DeAnna S |

My son, Caleb, wanted Cuban. After reading reviews, decided on Doce Provisions. What an unexpected patio dining experience. Simply beautiful. Excellent service. Cuban Fusion! Plantains,Fufu, and Tres leches ... just yes! Well spiced and priced.

Modern cuban flavours were great, service and location just ok

By displacedandrew |

I'm always a bit skeptical of places that try to make a modern spin on cuisines and the place has the hipster decor to go with it, but the food was great. The churasco with truffle was fantastic, perfectly cooked and the fried rice dish (can't remember the name) had a lot of flavour. The service was ok, but generally slow. It would have been nice if they told us about the patio in the back, I didn't find out until much later. The location is a bit further away from the main part of Little Havana so can be a bit of a walk, especially if it's hot.

Seriously, the BEST food in Little Havana!!

By Angie F |

The food is amazing! We stayed in the community and ended up there three of the four days we were in Little Havana! The first day was for dinner. The last two days were for dessert at the end of the day. The Chef is FAR TOO MODEST. He is completely amazing. The staff is friendly and one of the Sous Chefs, I now consider a friend. This is honest Latin food, farm to table! Every time I return to Miami, I will be here!

Great!

By annebam |

We had a fantastic (& affordable!) dinner at Doce last week. The service was friendly and attentive. The pitcher of mojitos was delicious. We really enjoyed everything we ordered, and the back patio was beautiful, as well.

Great Dinner with Friends

By soxnation |

A large group of friends had dinner and it was fantastic. Staff was very accommodating to the large group. Food was delicious and seconds were even ordered. The Beer and Wine menu was good, we had several pitchers of sangria. Back outdoor dining area was beautiful and perfect spot for our dinner.

Excelente comida y trato exquisito!!

By Amaia777 |

The place is cute and the food delicious and tasty;) We were recommended for the apetiziers and really enjoyed it all!! We went with kids and they were as happy as us. The staff was very friendly and nice! We recommend it to everybody that want to taste delicious cuban food in the Little Havana.

Nice restaurant

By Joergstravel |

Its a small restaurant off the “Little Havanna Strip”. They got a open air area too to enjoy the sun and breeze. Its a good place to have something light...salad and tacos. Prompt service, nice food and good price, abt 25usd per person.

Seriously AMAZING

By Marciella S |

My mom and I were walking around Little Havana and saw some great reviews for this place. It is a very chic little restaurant in an area that is definitely not a touristy area. It is a very small restaurant so if you have a large party, you should call ahead. The people were friendly and the drinks were delicious but the food was what really made the experience amazing. We got the guacamole to start and pork fried rice with chorizo croquettes. We couldn't stop raving about how delicious the food was. I recommend the guacamole with plantain chips!

Good food and a “worth it” experience

By Lasse S |

I visited the restaurant with four other friends. Highly recommended restaurant with good cuban food, live music, and a great atmosphere.

Delicious and cool in Little Havana

By Stella M |

We stumbled upon Doce and so glad we did. From the outside it looks like a small eatery but walked thru to the outside rear patio that was full of gardens and quaint little sitting areas. Out waitress Sofia was amazing. Great service drinks and food recommendations. The ambiance is chill and modern. Everyone go here!

Highly recommend this spot

By kristine r |

Loved everything about this restaurant. Nice decor and very tasty food. We had two kinds of tacos and fried chicken waffle. Everything was delicious and would go back in a heartbeat.

Delectable dishes!

By Cynditravels |

Great restaurant in Little Havana. Must try the chorizo croquettes that melt in your mouth yet linger in flavor. We also loved the fried chicken with waffles and plantains. Thai noodles were yummy too. Can't forget the tasty mojito either.

Horrible Experience

By Carl8864 |

First of all, it was freezing cold with the A/C blowing hard and condensation dripping from the vents. Next, the entrees didn't come out at the same time so our food got cold while we waited for the last dish to be served. Then, even though my pescatarian son ordered the salmon without the chorizo vinaigrette on it, it had it on it and he didn't notice it until he started feeling ill. After we told them what they did, they replaced the salmon, but didn't offer anything to make up for their mistake. When we complained, the waitress said she couldn't do anything because it was her fault. When we insisted that it should be considered the restaurant's fault, she said she would pay for it (which should not be the way it works). Then, the chef/owner came out with what I felt was a confrontational tone and asked if something was the matter, when he clearly should have known what the issue was as he prepared the dish. He insisted that they had done a great job because they had fixed the issue quickly by giving us someone else's salmon. They clearly don't take dietary restrictions seriously and it was probably the most uncomfortable dining experiences I've ever had.

Very good

Cuban fusion food was very good. Place looked great and service was fantastic. Will be back for more.

Blown Away

By TraBuff |

While visiting from Louisiana we wanted to experience Cuban cuisine. We drove into Little Havana after reading TripAdvisor reviews we decided on Doce Provisions. The outside seems simple enough, but inside had kind of an artsy, modern vibe. The main area is small but there is an outside area that I didn’t see so I can’t comment on that. Our server was Bryan who was so very pleasant and helped translate and describe the meals for us. He was polite, helpful and friendly. Our appetizers were the shrimp pivot tacos and the fufu with ropa vieja! WOW! We were so impressed with them that we were nervous about the entrees not measuring up. We were wrong! I had the Arroz Imperial with the egg and avocado and my husband had the Thai noodles with shrimp. We could not believe how flavorful and delicious everything was, start to finish. Fabio was great also, he ended our evening with a couple of Cuban colada’s. This place is a must!

GREAT PLACE

By Carlos G |

A hidden gem in Little Havana. A must try restaurant. The food is great in a local hole in the wall. Have the croquetas and the crispy pork.

Amazing food & hidden garden oasis

By Sunniedays4u |

We loved the Doce! Unique food but absolutely delicious. We were able to bring our golden retriever in the outdoor garden area and they brought him water immediately. Very dog friendly. Loved the ambience in the outdoor space. Try the mojito!!! Muddled from scratch. Also the short rib tacos were small but packed with flavor!

A Must

By Fermina22 |

This place took us by surprise and pretty much knocked our socks off. Sampled the short rib tacos, guac, shirmp po boy tacos--all great! But the money makers here were the disco fries (a smaller portion than expected, but delivered BIG TIME) and the chicken and waffles--simply EPIC. Reasonably prices and good service. Looks like Guy Fieri had already discovered it. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in Miami. We'll be talking about this food for a while.

Holy Moly

By Dave M |

One of the best dinners in a loonng time. The Brussels sprouts and cauliflower in sweet soy sauce pretty amazing. The pork belly soft tacos the same. The mac and cheese with shrimp: perfect, with a whole lotta cheese, exactly-cooked noodles, put under the broiler just the right amount of time to brown the top. Tank on draft, very cold and refreshing. I'd return in a heartbeat.

Cool spot

By Iwuvtotravel |

Love this spot it’s soo cool n food is done with such a nice twist to it. We sat outside as it was perfect to be outdoors. Our appetizers which I can’t remember the name was the toston with braised beef, croquettes n the Brussel sprouts not a morsel was left behind. I had the salmon with squash purée and it was really good. All our meals were delicious no complaints n dessert was the creme brûlée rice pudding n dulce de leche were great though I wish it would of been maybe a little warmer but it was worth the calories😎😎

YUM!

By Amanda J |

Do yourself a favor and order the mac n cheese with the smoked pork on top. Amazing. Small space, in an up-and-coming neighborhood. Totally worth the drive to go. The sangria was very good, too. We liked the guac with the chicherones, as well.

Great food and experience

By Vince S |

The restaurant has a simple feel inside, with the cooking area fully visible, and an enclosed outdoor section. It did not take long to get comfortable and relaxed. The service was also prompt and friendly. The menu was full of interesting options, yet everything was familiar. The guacamole was fresh and full of unique flavour. The sauce on the open faced tuna sandwich really stood out. It was sweet, spicy, and tangy. There was also a nice selection of local beers. Overall, there was nothing negative about the experience. Even the prices were reasonable.

If this is authentic Cuban food then I know where I'm going for my holidays next year !

By Onelifeliveit |

Our time in Miami was short. We flew in late at night and only had one full day before we joined our cruise ship. We booked Doce Provisions for dinner the next day based on TA reviews and couldn't have been happier. We took a Lyft from our hotel and was there in no time. The welcome was nice but like everywhere in the US especially Miami, the air con was chilly so don't be like me, bring a cardi or sweater. We were recommended the specials of scallops; it was nice and the other food we had was sensational especially the chicken and waffles. I believe we paid about $90 with tip which seems expensive for what we got but this is Miami and everywhere we found was more expensive than normal. Nonetheless, nothing would stop me from visiting Doce Provisions again or dissuade others. Both the food and service was excellent.

Super great

By Iwuvtotravel |

This place is so so cool !!! Food was delicious 😋 we sat outside sine it was not too hot and oh how pretty.. sangria was sweet but strong 👍appetizer whe had poopoosa n I tell u I could of had that for dinner.. fried rice had a Latin bang to it and burger was juicy and perfectly done. I wish dessert would of been a lil sweeter but it was perfect portion and the pineapple made up for sweetness. Want to come back and try lunch 😎😎

Good Dinner

By Godiva0318 |

Our family of four came here recently for dinner. We were sat in the outdoor courtyard, which is very charming. DH and I started with a pitcher of sangria. The sangria was good, but not great. For appetizers, we had the chorizo croquettes, which were very good, and guacamole with tostones, which was just okay. I liked the tostones, instead of chips, with the guacamole, but honestly, I make better guacamole at home. For dinner, I had the avocado salad. It was tasty, but had a bit too much dressing for my liking. My son ordered the Little Bird Fried Chicken (their spin on chicken and waffles), but because he's extremely picky, he really just asked for plain fried chicken on one plate and plain waffles (no sauces) on another plate. His food was pretty good, but I'm sure it's very good when ordered as it's listed on the menu. Unfortunately, I don't remember what my husband and daughter ordered, but they both enjoyed their meals enough. I'm kind of torn between giving Doce Provisions an "average" or "very good" rating, but, overall, we had a nice dinner.

Lovely Cuban sandwich

They have the perfect Cuban sandwich. Nuff said. The only problem is parking (it's Little Havana duh)

Amazing flavors

Stoped by in January 20 before the craziness started...Amazing appetizers at stop #97 in our TripleD travels! Friendly staff as well. Chorizo Croquettes and Vaca Vaca Frita Tostones were delicious!
