We enjoyed our fire pit birthday dinner immensely! The food was good (especially the desserts...we ordered pretty basic salads with salmon), but the service was exceptional! Ethan, our server, was authentically friendly, fun and attentive; and the manager made a point to stop by, which we very much appreciated! Live music was very pleasant; and they accommodated lowering the volume so we could converse more easily. The chef came to our table not once, but twice! It was a birthday dinner (complete with wonderful complimentary dessert...so generous!) for one of four girlfriends; and we felt so welcome, appreciated and celebrated by all the staff. They all went above and beyond!

I picked this restaurant from looking at it online. I really got lucky. I choose to eat it indoors. It was a lovely interior. We looked out on the water and the cruise boat. The meal was amazing. The wedge salad was delicious: with the pickled onion and tasty blue cheese. The bread was the best sourdough bread I EVER had!! I had the crab cake and broccolini as my entree. Both were excellent! My partner had the sea bass that was served with a tasty risotto. They also have a fabulous cinnamon ice cream. It was my best meal of the year so far!!

It was an amazing experience, the environment, the hospitality was marvelous, almost magical with the sun setting and the customer service was astonishing ask for Ethan to be your server great guy very humble and has an amazing sense of humor

The breakfast burger was delicious! Cyana was bubbly and nice! Went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of! Oh and cannot forget about the mimosa flight. Yummy!

My partner and I had a wonderful time here. The service was the most uniformly great of any place I’ve been to in recent memory, both at brunch and dinner. The food was very good too, and prepared with care. I had the rosemary ham eggs Benedict and we both had the squash soup, as well as drinks. We will definitely be back!

Happy New Year 2025! Ethan was the best server we have had in San Diego. He was attentive, kind, and considerate of our night out. The New Year menu was perfect. The portions were filling, the choices were diverse, and the taste was phenomenal. We will be back.

My girlfriend and I came here for our anniversary and we had an amazing time. Our server, Celeste, was the reason why we had such a great time. Celeste greeted us as soon as we sat down, she was friendly, professional, and courses out our meals perfectly. I would give her 10 stars if I could. I highly recommend Dockside for any occasion and above all recommend Celeste to be your server. She’s outstanding! :)

We were celebrating our anniversary in San Diego and came across Dockside 1953 as a perfect place to celebrate! It definitely did not disappoint! The fish tacos were amazing, the service was extraordinary, especially our server Karina, who went above and beyond to make our special day even better! We were surprised with a complimentary Gelato dessert! All that and then you can't beat the beautiful scenery! Thank you to all the staff for making our vacation that much more memorable! Patty was really nice with us, we felt welcome, really nice people, we really enjoyed it. The food was really on point, my boyfriend’s omelette was a little plain but the potatoes were really good. I had a great dining experience recently. What made it memorable was a very handsome knowledgeable server named Ethan. He was so attentive to all our dining requests. He noticed right away when my drink was getting low and asked me if I wanted another. He described some of his favorites on the menu. We loved the atmosphere as well as the great cocktails, scallops and the best rhubarb pie! I’ll definitely be back as soon as I can.

Our party of 8 had a wonderful dinner in this beautiful location. Our waitress Krystal was amazing! Dealing with the 8 of us (unruly senior citizens) with humor and efficiency. She had great recommendations, handled special requests like a pro, and made sure we were very well taken care of during our 3 hour dinner/visit. Highly rec!

The food was just what was needed to start the perfect beach day. The restaurant and our server Jessica were amazing. We were initially seated in the sun (by request) and they were great in accommodating a table change to the shade when it got too hot. Jessica was so sweet to our kiddos and made them feel so special. Highly recommend!

My in-laws were with us, they felt the same. I never write reviews... I was with 3 of my girlfriends to celebrate a birthday. Ethan (our server) went above and beyond to make sure our experience and food was top notch. Even the chef (Aldo I believe) came out to introduce himself and make sure we were happy with the food. Sit outside at a fire pit table and enjoy the ambience, live music, and delicious food! What an amazing time we had at Dockside 1953 in San Diego for our anniversary! We requested a fire pit table on the patio and we were blessed to have the most attentive server ever. Ethan, our server, generously handled our every need. He was kind, warm, present, and funny. He guided us through culinary choices that we might normally overlook. His service honestly had us feeling like his sole reason for being there was to make our evening memorable. Thank you, Ethan!! If you are looking for a beautiful spot to make memories, make a reservation at Dockside 1953, request at fire pit patio table overlooking the bay, and definitely request Ethan to be your server. Then just relax and enjoy.

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and amazing service!! We had our toddler with us and they were always so kind and accommodating! We had dinner and breakfast here and it was great. Special thanks to Jessica for her awesome service!

After selecting this based on #1 Reviews on Trip Advisor, this restaurant left us wanting more for our breakfast. Was really looking forward to the Butterscotch Banana French Toast, but neither myself or my wife could taste the butterscotch or banana in our entree. Our son did really enjoy his Strawberry French Toast though! Beautiful setting, but very high priced for quality of meal provided.

We had a wonderful triple-birthday family celebration here, and Krystal’s warm, fun personality made us feel welcome and elevated the entire experience. We ordered a variety of dishes and everyone was happy with theirs. Krystal took the extra step of giving us 3 wineglasses to hold over the lit candles while we sang Happy Birthday on a beautiful breezy night. Menu: *Bread Service, *Greenhouse Salad, *Oysters on The Half Shell, Seafood Tower, brussels sprouts, *short rib, sea bass, arrabbiata, chicken, Kahlua cheesecake, cashew panna cotta, *Grandma’s peach pie.

The food was absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly. Service was attentive, friendly, adding to the overall great experience!

All of the staff made us feel very welcome during our 42nd wedding anniversary dinner. Cyana was especially kind, and provided wonderful service. The food was delicious, our compliments to the chef. We’ve decided to make Dockside 1953 a regular stop whenever we’re in San Diego.

This is our third time here and what we’ve consistently experienced is a creative and delectable menu plus the servers are always well trained, friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Shout out to Ethan for being so accommodating and helpful tonight regarding our food preparation and preferences. Your kindness and understanding was not lost on us! ✌🏽

My first time at this restaurant. The burger was delicious! But what made the experience so great was our server, Patrick! He was awesome! Friendly and went above and beyond! I highly recommend a stop here and ask for Partrick!

Okay at best. Very overpriced for the quantity AND most importantly, quality. Had a 730 reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. Sat outside at one of the fire pit table. Waited a good while for any server, who clearly was covering for an overwhelmed waiter to greet us. Ordered drinks which were fine. Ordered the ceviche. It was good, not great. Had a lot of spice but lacked a lot of taste. Mostly, just spicy. We also ordered the wedge salad. This was very good, but the timing as to serving it was off. Came out right after we got the ceviche. I ordered the filet, wife the sea bass. Came out relatively quickly. I noticed right away that my filet looked like none I had ever seen. I tasted it and it was like pot roast. Minute or so later, manager comes by. They had brought out the lamb for the customer next to me. Offered to get me the steak I ordered which I accepted. Steak was good. However, in no way shape or form was it a $57 steak. For top dollar at the top rated TripAdvisor restaurant, it was barely above average. Check came,, they charged a $4 and change “appreciation “ fee for the kitchen. The same people who mistimed our appetizer and sale and brought me the wrong entree. $257 later, we left VERY underwhelmed.

I was in the Mission Bay area on my way to downtown San Diego and wanted to grab some seafood for lunch. Mr. Google suggested I check out Dockside 1958 and I was glad that I did. It's located in the Bahia Hotel right on the water, and the view was great. Friendly staff set me up at a nice table, and my server, Jessica, was great to interact with. She was friendly, engaging, and made great suggestions on the menu. Started out with a Bloody Mary that was pretty much a meal in itself. Was adorned with a large (U10) shrimp that was perfectly cooked. Ordered a half dozen Baja oysters that were cold, fresh, thick, and tasted of the sea. It was my first-time having oysters from Mexico, and they did not disappoint. Ordered the fish tacos for lunch. Two, huge tacos came out with the best Mexican corn salsa I've ever had. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the corn taco shells were up to the task of containing the food. They weren't falling apart like at so many other places. The crema, salsa, Pico, all house-made, were great and complimented the friend sea bass. The berry/basil smash I had with them was perfect. These were "the best fish tacos I've ever eaten."

We came to dockside as a large group after a conference. We sat by a fire and Ethan was our server. He was so wonderful, speedy, and attentive. He was constantly checking on us despite having multiple other large parties he was also serving. Food was great as well! I ordered the cesar salad and fries because #girldinner but it was so great!

Prices are high compared to the level of quality. Flavors are non-existent. The staff is nice RAS

I have eaten here many times. The food is excellent and the clam chowder is by far the best I have ever had!! They have taken it off the menu...BIG mistake😂 I hope they bring it back soon. The servers (Sarah) have been so friendly and gave excellent service. Noah the evening manager is the best manager I have ever encountered. We had the absolute best experience at Dockside for our anniversary! From the moment we walked in, the hostess made us feel welcomed and celebrated. Our server Kelly was attentive, kind, and went above and beyond to make the day feel special. The bartender crafted some of the best drinks we’ve had—everything was just perfect. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. It was truly one of our favorite dining experiences and made for an unforgettable anniversary. We’ll definitely be back!

A bit old fashioned, but lovely views. Portions were small but very well prepared. I had fish with mashed potatoes and spinach. The entire entree took up about a fourth of a normal size dinner plate. I’m not a big eater so it was okay for me, but a man could eat three. Our server, (I think his name was Ethan) was excellent.

Excellent service by Krystal. Very poor management of the volume of customers and wait staff assignment. One waitress doing all the work for more than 45 mins and 4-6 others standing around on the patio doing nothing.

The restaurant is located in a wonderful location, next to a pier. The view and seating were wonderful. We were greeted by several servers, but our main server was Ethan. He greeted us with a smile and asked us if he could do anything to make us more comfortable. We ordered an appetizer and main entrees. The food was simply amazing. Perfectly cooked, delicious and well portioned. My wife and I have been to some of the finest restaurants all over the world and this ranks on the top of the list. Wonderful food, service and atmosphere! We came here for a Father’s Day dinner and sat outside in Ethan’s section (aided by Celeste when he took his break). The service was great, very attentive and quick. The food was so good also! Everyone liked their meals, and the prices were very reasonable for what we ordered. It was so nice to sit outside and look out on the bay, watch the boats and the families enjoying the outdoor areas. Dockside 1953 is definitely worth a visit— we will be back for sure!

Mel And Kelley were our servers. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted and accomodated as though we were the only person here. The food was great, the atmosphere speaks for itself but truly the experience was completed by two wonderful servers Mel and Kelly. So attentive, Warm smiles and helped with menue suggestions. Mel cam back and forth and took photos for us as did Kelley. So patient and professional and a truly fantastic dining experience. 5 stars is all i could give but I give them the golden buzzer. Lol! We had reservations for Xmas day for lunch at 1:30 PM - we had just landed from Atlanta - and we reached at 1 PM - It was a wonderful view of the water. we sat outside since it was a gorgeous day They had a brunch menu. The drinks were average but the food was amazing - The croissant appetizer was phenomenal. My daughter had mac and cheese and fries and she enjoyed it. My wife had chilaquiles, my son had the Pancakes and I had the apple cinnamon French toast. The food was just amazing. It is expensive though but the food and the ambience is excellent. The service is good but slow and intermittent. Food is highly recommended.

This was perfect for a nice relaxing dinner and adult beverage with friends around the fire pit on the patio. While everyone on the staff was lovely these special individuals really went above and beyond to make our stay an extra special experience. My sincere thanks and appreciation to Ben, Vanessa, Steven, Jason, Jesse, Aimee, Ethan, Jessica, Jocelyn and Kelley. I highly recommend the Bahia resort, not only for their amazing staff, but also because it is an absolutely beautiful resort: from the beachside rooms that allow you to step right onto the sand from your own private patio that overlooks their private beach, the views are breathtaking to say the least, the resort is kept to incredibly clean standards and this is coming from me an actual germaphobe, and the adorable baby seals who live on their property in their secure enclosure. Thank you again for an amazing trip Bahia Resort and staff! We look forward to seeing you all again soon in the near future!!

We chose to celebrate our anniversary here because of the wonderful experience we had on our previous visit. The manager remembered us and greeted us by name upon arrival. We were seated in the intimate dining room by the window overlooking the bay. There was a Happy Anniversary card with a picture of the resort signed by the entire staff. Incredibly thoughtful. Our waiter was attentive but never intrusive. He introduced himself and shook our hands to welcome us and wish us a happy anniversary. Throughout the evening he made helpful recommendations for drinks and dinner. Excellent service the entire evening. Now for the food. Outstanding, next level at every turn! We started with drinks. My wife and I each had the Cranberry Blossom cocktail. Complex and delicious with just enough tart cranberry and lime to balance the apricot liqueur. For an appetizer we ordered the “Bread Service”. I know what you’re thinking; bread and butter - no big deal. But this loaf of sourdough came right out of the oven with toasted sesame seeds and a smoked butter on the crust. It came with two sides, smoked sea salt butter and dill caper butter. This is a favorite of ours. For dinner my wife had the Pan Seared Sea Bass and I chose the Shrimp Cavatelli. My shrimp dish had plenty of large shrimp in a light roasted red pepper sauce with pea tendrils and fennel confit. The Sea Bass was resting on a bed of lemon garlic risotto with sliced grape tomato and a lemon-olive salad. Truly delicious! For dessert they brought us a complimentary dish of butterscotch pudding with a slice of dark chocolate that had Happy Anniversary inscribed on it. It’s not on the menu and was made especially for us. The best butterscotch I have ever had! Their chef here never misses. Everything is done to perfection. This meal was absolutely wonderful. Don’t miss this San Diego gem.

Ethan was our server. He was extremely helpful. Answered questions we had about the menu. Recommended us drinks that were absolutely fantastic. I had the strawberry old fashion, and my wife had the rum punch, we definitely recommend. The service at the restaurant is really second to none. I was greeted, sat and served my drink within less than 10 mins. Everyone here gave service with a genuine smile. I would definitely come back and have another drink. But then again this was my experience. Keep that in mind when you come.

Wow!!! Our experience was fantastic from start to finish!! First I’d like to say I’m usually more inclined to leave reviews after bad experiences to try to spare others the pain, but for the first time, I have nothing but amazing things to say and just wanted people to know they are missing out instead of being the bearer of bad news per usual. I tried everyone’s food in our party and everything was cooked to perfection and so flavorful…. but…..if you’re into scallops PLEASE do yourself a favor and try them…they will not disappoint! With all that said, I am a firm believer in everything comes down from the top so when the service was impeccable as well, it came as no surprise that the manager Noah who we met was amazing! it all made sense and made for the most perfect evening. Noah is definitely an asset to this wonderful restaurant and added to an evening of magnificence for us! Thank you all and we will be back for sure ❤️

Great brunch. Seafood was excellent with fresh Poke tuna station. Overall above average food quality for a resort style setting. Many extras and good quality stations made it worth the price. Our waiter Ethan was accommodating and did a super job. We had a very nice Easter meal.

This restaurant is in a hotel, The Bahia. From the beautiful picture of the restaurant to the reviews, we had to go! Nice place to eat if you’re staying at the hotel. We weren’t. Breakfast would be good. Dinner…. The quality of the dishes not worth the cost. Not a foody restaurant, but good for basic dishes. Very good service, nice ambiance. #1 is a bit Much.

We went to this restaurant for my husband’s birthday because he likes breakfast. He enjoyed the butterscotch french toast. From the minute we entered, everyone was helpful & nice. Excellent service from our server, Jean. It’s unusual to find a place that emphasized team work & everyone seemed to like working there. Jean, our server, brought out a special dessert for our birthday celebration.

ETHAN our waiter is excellent. He is very thorough, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and pairings etc.. His recommendations were great. We enjoyed every course of our meal. My family dined here during a quick trip to San Diego. The food was absolutely incredible, especially the crab tostada, crispy brussel sprouts, and pan seared seabass meunière. Ethan, our waiter, was super personable, very informative when asked about the menu, and provided information regarding things to do in the area. We would absolutely recommend this spot to others visiting San Diego.

Two had the blackened tuna (cooked perfectly) and one had a steak (which was also cooked to perfection). Somewhat disappointed in the sides, but it was a lot of tuna on the plate so didn't need a whole lot of other food on the plate.

It's an ok restaurant, and the service was attentive and good. Did not enjoy the ceviche. The fish appeared to be cooked, and the coconut did not enhance the taste. On the contrary, it gave it particular after taste. The fish tacos and muscle and clams were good.

Visiting from NYC and came on a Friday night. Our group sat near a beautiful firepit and the weather was perfect. The seabass and bread were amazing - I can’t wait to come back soon and try more dishes! Service was incredible - one of the best dining experiences I have had. Our server Ethan was extremely professional and had amazing recommendations. His energy and helpful manner made our evening!

Five stars for location-beautiful place to watch the sunset. Five stars for service-server was attentive and friendly Four stars for food. The halibut was great. The rockfish ceviche appetizer was not good. Couldn’t eat it. Fish didn’t taste fresh. Drinks and dessert were fine-as expected, nothing that wowed. A little expensive for portion size and quality, but the view makes it worth it. Would probably eat there again.

We love this restaurant! It’s right on the sand overlooking the Bay. This visit Cyana was our server. She was kind, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. Consequently we tried some new entrees including the cold Lobster and Brussel Sprouts. Both were delicious as was the house sourdough bread with capers and sea salt butter. Cyana recommended a delicious Pinot from Edna valley and we topped everything off with a delicious dark chocolate gelato! The patio has a beautiful view of the sunset (over the bay) as well as comfortable seating including fire pits. We look forward to our next dining experience here!

Two families with kids ranging from 7-12 had a wonderful dinner. First, the restaurant is very clean and has a beautiful view of the water. The property is very well maintained. Second, the hostess and waiter could not have been friendlier. Finally, the food was delicious. We had everything for the ceviche to the hamburgers. Very well prepared and very good quality. The craft cocktails, you have to try the Watermelon Breeze, were perfect! We will be back. Oh, and the hotel looks very nice as well, but we did not stay there.

Krystal had very pleasant demeanor and was very attentive to our needs. We appreciate her offer to take our photo as we were struggling to take a selfie.

Ethan became the highlight of our visit at the Bahia's Dockside 1953 restaurant last Sunday March 2nd. We were super impressed that the restaurant only hires class-act servers. Ethan was a professional who only does his job over and beyond 5-star. This is how I know that the staff at this restaurant makes good money because they hire only the best people to serve. Ethan is definitely a big asset of the restaurant and his first class service can't be compensated with just a big tip, hence, we are compelled to write a review. My husband and I won't be able to sleep without writing this good review. Very deserving. Ethan deserves all the compliments of a happy and content customers like us. Kudos!

We walked here after a long morning at SeaWorld and it was an ideal stop! Ethan was our server and was incredible. He was extremely knowledgeable while also willing to double check with the kitchen to get the exact information we needed. His recommendations were very helpful and he was just a delight to be around. The tuna salad melt sandwich and fries were delicious! My husband even remarked it was the best tuna sandwich he has ever had.

Excellent location, good food with interesting variety, very nice service. Staying at the Bahia Resort we ate here multiple times both for dinner and breakfast. We weren't overwhelmed with the gluten free options shown on the menu but, having some knowledge of what's typically within the range of doable, asked on a few choices not listed that seemed like they could be GF. Found quite a few that could with little effort (and in some cases no effort, they just weren't noted). So be sure to ask, knowledge was strong among both servers and chef. Service was great both at the table and the bar. Particular shout out to Kelley, a PDX transplant server we met on our last dinner in town. Can't blame her for making the move to SD. Also do pay attention to the weekly specials. The half price bottle of wine on ... I want to say Wednesdays (?) ... is a pretty great deal.

Great views, delicious food & wonderful service! Cyana was a fantastic server!! I had the shrimp dish & the oysters, they were wonderful!! My husband had the short rib & said it was the best he’s had!!

Cyana was friendly and nice. So warm and easy to talk to. Food was done well. Risotto was creamy and fluffy. Fish and chicken was not dry. Everything was delicous. Surprising gem, would recommend.

Dockside 1953 is an awesome place to dine in. The venue is so refreshing, lets you enjoy the beauty of God’s creation by the beach. There dishes are exemplary outstanding. We ordered Sea Bass, Filet Mignon & Mac and Cheese, the plates were well presented as well as satisfying to our palates. Our server Karina is so cheerful, accommodating & knowledgeable about their menu.

Of a three week trip to the area, this was the worst experience we had. Incredibly overpriced menu for the quality of food and service we received. Were not advised of a special 'service charge' for a party of 7 that included 3 small children who shared one cheeseburger that came without cheese and one order of fries. Hummus plate was light on the hummus and filled with unnecessary side veggies. Service was mediocre at best. If I had been advised of the $48 service charge in advance, we would have gone elsewhere. First place that did this.

It’s a nice place and the food is good (the dill caper butter for bread service was a stand out), but what made it special was our server Krystal who has real warmth and just the right amount of attentiveness. She made our night very special!

Awe, man, the waffles 🧇 were worthy of a visit. The berries and whipped butter just exploded in my mouth.. I didn't even use syrup. The waffles were light and fluffy. The service was 5 star (Cyana), and everyone was welcoming and kind. The view of the private beach was also very lovely.. Parking tip: You do not need to park at the resort. There is a free public lot right next door. It was so nice, I will stay at the Bahai resort on my next visit.

Ethan provided outstanding service. Attentive throughout dinner with two adults and four children. Patient and accommodating - we were never left wanting. Food was outstanding - everything we ordered was spot on and would order again. We particularly enjoyed the sea bass, crab cake, and Brussels sprouts. Top of the line margaritas were the cherry.

This place was awful. I first ordered a wedge salad. Who can screw up a wedge salad you ask? They did. So, I ordered the hamburger. Worst hamburger I've ever had.

The service and attentiveness of the staff is marvelous. They are not only friendly but they treat you with the upmost class. We stayed for 5 days and dined here many times. Every single time was memorable. The menu change was surprising and not to our liking but the crew made us feel special. One particular server named Jessica was exceptional with her skills and friendliness. She was helpful as well as informative on presenting us with the days events.

Ethan and the whole Dockside team was very attentive and accommodating with our mixed group of grandparents, parents and kids. We had great cocktails and great service on New Year’s Eve. Pre fixe menu had amazing choices. Definitely a great evening with great service and environment, right on the bay with views of the water at the fire pit.

We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary here. Our wedding reception with 450 people was here at the Bahia on the top floor of the high-rise building. We had an amazing night tonight, Ethan, our waiter was exceptional. Great service, great attitude. The food was also, amazing and exceptional, we were both born in raised in San Diego and my fish was some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. Here’s to this new amazing Bahia restaurant and chef and staff!

We recently stayed at the Bahia hotel. My family and I enjoyed our breakfast at Dockside. Our server Jessica was amazing. The service was friendly and quick. She made sure our dining experience was perfect.

Our server, Ethan was amazing all of our food was really good. we ordered a Caesar salad and added bacon, which was great a Poké bowl that was good fish taco that was a favorite and the grilled chicken sandwich which was amazing.

The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. Every water glass was filled promptly, plates moved out of the way and just excellent food and service. We had the pleasure of eating here two nights in a row for dinner and they took care of our family of 7 so so well. Our waiter Ethan helped us both nights and just made it such an enjoyable experience. The manager Matt also came by to thank us and made us feel so welcome. If you dine here, I promise you will be taken care of.

Kelley really made our evening special. We ordered the seafood tower and we weren’t sure how to attack it. She graciously got us little plates and divided up the food for us. She loved our dog Ryder and called him by his name. She was attentive and professional but best of all very friendly and made us feel welcome. We visited the restaurant three more times after that because our experience was so great. Keep up the great work!! This restaurant was a highlight of our trip and we will be back because of it.

Absolutely wonderful. We had the jumbo lump crap and oysters for starters. Then I had the seared salmon with lemon risotto and my husband had the saddle steak with loaded baked potatoes. We each had a glass of the Conundrum. Food was ridiculous and the service was top notch. They surprised us with an amazing chocolate desert with a sweet card signed by the staff.

My wife and I were visiting San Diego for a pleasurable trip we had heard about this restaurant took an Uber here and were completely satisfied. The ambiance was fantastic. I had arguably the best mac & cheese I have ever tasted. They had fire effects going on the marine and the background lighting in the service was exceptional. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience and our waiter went above and beyond. Our waiter, Ethan, was very attentive and personable. It was my birthday and he took some family photos for us and even sang “Wheels on the Bus” to get my 1 year old daughter’s attention 🥰 The food was delicious! The view spectacular and sitting at the fire pit on big comfy chairs was so fun! Definitely recommend! We went a couple more times that week and it was great but Ethan was the best waiter by far 👍✨

We’re staying at the Bahia, which makes Dockside an easy choice for meals. After a breakfast and a brunch so far, we’ve been very happy with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. Patrick was great this morning, helping us make a few adjustments to an order to work around food sensitivities. Service and ambiance was wonderful!

Had dinner here on a Saturday evening with family. Great location to watch a California sunset, the food was great and service was top notch. Ethan was our server and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great evening. He was able to fulfill some requests for modifications to our order and made sure we were taken care from start to finish.

Wonderful place to celebrate my wife's doctorate earlier in the day. Location was wonderful, right on the bay. Food was fantastic. We had to try seaweed butter so we got the bread which wasn't really necessary although it was wonderful. The tuna was fantastic, perfectly cooked and the desert (chocolate mousse dome cake) was spectacular. Service was top notch - they knew why we were there (thanks OpenTable) and they were very attentive and many people stopped by to congratulate her. Just remember its a hotel so there could very well be families there with kiddos who aren't always well-behaved. Didn't bother us, but some folks could be turned off by that. We will definitely return

Robert was amazing. Explaining the menu and helping us plan dinner so everyone would get exactly what they wanted. Never had somebody take such effort in making sure we had the perfect evening. I'll come back from texas to eat here again because of the service. The food was absolutely amazing also! This meal would have cost me 3 times what it did here in Fort worth.
