He attended me [joleidy and Javier] and they were incredibly friendly throughout the meal. They made sure everything was perfect and were very attentive to the details. It's nice to get such a service. Thank you so much!💚💚

Kevin was helpful in selecting breakfast. Menu changes occurred, but the food remains amazing. It's one of our favorite breakfast spots.

I was so happy to visit Miami and had an opportunity to visit my first Venezuelan restaurant. It was referred by my friends and it was definitely good. I am a vegetarian and I was wondering if I can get anything there but they had good choices even for vegetarian folks. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The place is very good, the food excellent and the service wonderful. Andry was super attentive and nice. He explained the menu very well.

Food is great (authentic Venezuelan). Service couldn't be any worse. Been there four times; all failed. Come for the food, leave because of the service. Overall: terrible Experience. One star is too high.

Very good arepas, generous fillings, true to the traditional Venezuelan flavor. When it comes to service, much to be desired. When we arrived the place was packed, we decided to order to go, however when our order was ready there were several empty tables. Since there were no patrons waiting we decided to stay and eat our food, to our surprise we were not allowed and asked to leave. Will think very hard before going again.

Muy deliciouso! My every trip to Miami is not complete without taste of Venezuelan staple Arepas I had discovered a chain in Miami that i was quite happy with until i came across Doggi’s Arepa bar. I am vegetarian, and they make them all ways you like. I loved their plantain and avocado one. We also ordered the veggie falafel arepa, which was Also delicious. The two sauces that pair with arepa are delicious, the green one is must!

I love coming to Doggis! The food is delicious, the dogfish empanadas, the cachapa and the tuna arepa are my favorites! Thank you Yerandis, Juan and Manuel for your attention, as always very friendly, they make us feel at home.

Found this place by chance as we were looking for a place to eat near Vizcaya Gardens and Museum, and I was so glad we did!! I lived in Venezuela ages ago, and hadn't had this kind of food in a very long time. Everything took me back! We started with tequenos (cheese-filled dough rolls) that were just delicious. Ordered a cheese empanada, which was also just perfect and tasted just like I remembered from Venezuelan street shops. My husband had a Hot Dog with everything--it came with two delicious sauces and some genuinely hot Hot Sauce. I had a Arepa Llanera which was hugely stuffed with meat and cheese. Everything was flavorful, hot, delicious and very, very filling. The decor is also great--the walls are covered in Venezuelan slang that just made me happy. Their coffee smelled delicious. Staff was enthusiastic and very friendly. Highly recommend it!

Excellent service, great food and very nice decorations. Wish they had chicha the day we went. I felt at home.

I've been here several times and I keep coming back every time I come to Miami. Hands down the best Arepas in town. The flan will blow your mind. No matter what you order, you can't go wrong. Raphael, Joleidy and Kevin are amazing, you will get the best service.

Have driven by Doggi's on several occasions, every time marveling as to how packed it always is. While saying to ourselves, we must go.. Well we did, and it was wonderful. Great Venezuelan conform food and plenty of it. I'm telling you, Come hungry!!!, ...

Consistently good with attentive service. Always delicious. The attention is quick and efficient. Will keep coming back

This is a local spot for arepa lovers. They have every type of arepa imaginable. Place is clean, service is good and it is always packed.

We visited Doggi’s after reading and hearing about Arepas. We loved the food, atmosphere and server. Miriangela explained arepas, the menu a little about herself. We had the Cachapa Pollo Mechado, which was an appetizer. It was amazing, large and almost a meal in itself. We also had the Patacon Churrasco, The Arepa Santa Barbara and ate 1/2 each. We took the other half of each to go, very large portions. For desert my husband tried the Rice Pudding and an espresso. We loved each one and look forward to trying more arepas. We had a very filling lunch, delightful conversation with our server who explained what was going on in Venezuela and how it affected her family. The restaurant is very quaint and cute. We will definitely

The Food it's Great and plentiful! But honestly, we prefer to order the food for Takeout than have to deal with the manager named "Dani". She's the opposite of what you expect from a manager, she's not kind and courteous, instead she's rude and has a bad attitude. We hope they fix it.

I'm a regular at Doggi's, without a doubt they have the best Venezuelan Arepas in town. recommended 100%

Thank you experience, I like food, great services and attention the people restaurant. Jeidy, Miguel gabriela…………..

This place is not only Venezuelan food, they've figured out a way of how to mix the rich Venezuelan cuisine with other flavors to make it more enjoyable to other nationalities. I've seen many people from other places eating "arepas" here like if they grown up with them all their life.

Really good Venezuelan food. Fast service, reasonable price and delicious! Plates are a decent size and the staff offer great service. The only bad thing I would say is that during peak hours there is no parking available.

We visited this unpretentious maimi cafe for the first time for a late afternoon lunch. The plain tables and and small crowded dinining area was off putting at first, but the genuine, gracious service and amazing food quickly won over the three of us. We ordered grilled chorizo and sweet palntain appetizers, and they each were the best I ever had -- in the U S , central america, spain and Portugal. We ordered one arepa and two chalapas. The stuffings and toppings included churrasco, pork, tomatoes queso blacnco .. The varity of sauces--hot, garlic, parsely, avocado, sweet coconut corn were better than great. We ended with good cafe con leche and a terrific arroz cone leche(rice pudding) that out waitress prided herself in preparing. It was definitely worth the 140 mile round trip from central palm beach county!

I ordered food through Doggi's APP and I had to wait 2 hours 20 minutes for my order to arrive!! (my house is 10 minutes away from Doggis in Coral Way) I call them after I put the order because I didn't receive any notification that my order was processed. They told me that was a very busy Sunday and my order will take 45 minutes to arrive. I call them back 2 times more and they message: we only have 2 drivers sorry for the delay. The food was delicious but wait for more than 2 hours is the worse service ever that you can have. Honestly don't take more orders that you can handle or at least be honest with your clients about the waiting time.

I thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the food and everything was great except the time of service was a bit slow but I understand they were packed.

Fantastic. The best arepas with traditional or inventive recipes. All very fresh and incredibly tasty. Excellent value for the money

Great arepa and selection of arepas! This places has great meals and great value. The only downside is waiting for the table!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Gabriela attended us in an excellent way. He was very friendly, attentive to every detail and always with a smile. Thanks to their Service, our restaurant experience was much better. 100% recommended!”

Super busy when we got there at lunchtime on a weekday. Staff was super efficient. Arepa de pabellon was excellent.

Enjoyed the arepas here. Many choices. We especially liked the pabellon (shredded beef with plantains, black beans, and white cheese).

Fun, yummy spot for authentic Venezuelan dining. I am totally gringo but married to a beautiful Venezuelan woman and she vouches for the quality and authenticity. I love the cachapas, arepas, and even the tequenos, which I am told mom-Venezuelans simply do. It fully appreciate! Highly recommend!

I came to Doggy's with a friend who is from Venezuela. We had cheese empenadas, passion juice and arepas and it was delicious though I couldn't finish my meal! The waitress was very nice and guide us through the menu. I love how the restaurant is decorated, there are a lot of souvenirs from Venezuela and it made me want to go there! I appreciate the simplicity of the restaurant, the fact that they also try to be modern, but you will definitely come back for the food!

I don‘t remember when was the last time i ate Arepas.. and this ones are the Best Arepas for sure.. Fully recommend it!!!!

We went with my grandma and aunt for the pabellón and tequeños! They never disappoint an the place is nice and the service is super

The food was amazing, the service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere has a modern touch to it with art and Venezuelan collages. The arepa santa barbara and the patacon was really good. Must stop by!

Food was good. Good price. The atmosphere and decor was pleasing. There is free parking across from the gas station.

Authentic Venezuelan Cuisine, tasty well prepared and the presentation was on point. Javier and Joleidy were attentive to detail. We Will definetly come back soon

Best Arepas in Miami and even more certain, their secret menu and their stuffing for the arepas are amazing. We can start with the lovely owners that are the ones who host and serve in this place. The decoration is very nice, the side kicks, the meet, the vegetarian version of the food, the drinks. Everything is good. I will work a bit in the attitude of some of the waitress but besides that this place rock for lunch, dinner and brunch and the food experience is amazing, there is only one place that I can compare the arepas in the US with and that place is far away in NYC (caracas arepa bar). I will have to go and eat both and decide. For now cheers and keep doing amazing food

Doggi’s already boasts 3 locations in Miami offering Venezuelan food in a familiar atmosphere. Portions are generous, the menu is wide-ranging accentuated with a very homely touch, you can somehow even feel as if you were at your mom’s or grandma’s house. For those whom Venezuelan cuisine is unfamiliar, we recommend the “Arepa Sifrina”, “tequeños” (bread dough sticks filled with white cheese), “patacón de churrasco” or “arepitas dulces.” When you are dropping by Doggi’s, forget about calories and let tastiness take charge of the culinary journey.

Waiter Kevin is excellent. Grateful for your service. The food is delicious, continue like this!!!! I'm glad there's a space for my country here.

I loved my arepa pabellon and my malta! the flavors almost made me cry because it remind me of home so much, this is the real deal when it comes to authenticity, it's truly Venezuelan. Though I have to say it's pricey restaurant and the service sucked, very snobbish people, we are known (Venezuelans) for being super friendly and warm people and the staff at this place were far from that. If you take it to go and you are not on a budget to eat, definitely go get you an arepa!

This place is delicious! The best breakfast in Miami. The arepas are even better than the ones in Venezuela. Trust me on this I am very Venezuelan. Order the Santa Barbara and tequeños. I am a true fan

Very good service from Miguel , Raphael and Kevin .very good food too , excellent quality and service. I recommend it

Amazing food! You must try their steak Pepitos and Tequeños!!! Arepas are good but not the best. I love the decor. Great please to casual lunch or dinner

I have no complains about the food or the service. The only issue I had was that I was eating basically connected to the tables next to me. The places is very small and has twice the amount of tables they should be able to fit in this place. If that isn't an issue for you then I recommend to try the place out

You must eat arepas. It is very delicious meat between bread. You can enjoy beer and you eill be full. Muay try in Miami.

I got there tonight where 15 people were waiting for a table outside. There was a free table of four but nobody could use it because they weren't a group of 4 people When the service is bad I don't care about the food. At the end of the day they only serve arepas

Delicious food, kind people. We had a great time and and perfect dinner. Joleidy was helpful and always there when needed. We will surely come back to try other dishes on the menu ❤️

Been a customer of Doggie's for more than 7 years, never had a complaint, yesterday I went with my daughter and ordered two arepas to go at noon, and after I ordered they told me in a rude way I had to wait outside, could not wait in the restaurant, even though I was standing up aside and not bothering anyone, heat outside was above 90 degrees. If it wasn't because my daughter really wanted her arepa would have cancelled the order and requested my money back. Lost a loyal customer, would never go back.

Delicious food!! And the phenomenal attention, coming to Doggi’s is like feeling at home! Thanks thousands to Gabriela, Javier and Maria José.

Authenticity great food. We got the Arepa Cateras because they were on special. It was a sweet corn cake stuffed with shredded chicken and Gouda cheese. OH SO GOODA! We’ll be back.

Group of friends visited Doggi's not to long ago for a late dinner. Make sure you plan accordingly as it can get quite busy here as there is not a lot of room. We started with the tequenos which were amazing. I had a toston burger which was great! My wife had an arepa de queso. The cheese is extremely salty so take caution! all in all the place has great food, decor, and staff!

We found this place on Yelp and am so glad we tried it. The empanadas were fantastic and so were the arepas. I got the tropic burger and it was huge! Fries were great too -- okay -- everything was really really good. Yes, we had to wait, but it was worth it!!

Little hole in the wall with excellent food and service. Arepas are a specialty worth trying out. Ate lunch and went away fully satisfied.

we order for lunch. The arepas were extremely oily and very expensive. I do not know if i will order from here again

Excellent Churrasco, cooked perfectly and served piping hot. Expect a bit of a wait, the place is tiny and the clientele is large. We went on off hours, at around 4pm and we're lucky to find a table. Delicious Venezuelan food, lots of arepas, although we didn't taste them, we saw them at other tables and they're on our radar now! Go there, you won't regret it.

It's not only Venezuelan food. They have other flavors and styles. Try the natural juices they are fabulous

Fantastic meal as always. The service tonight was even better than the usually great service we always receive. Gabriela, our waitress, was so welcoming and attentive. She smiled the entire time she took care of us. What a great addition to the restaurant!!!

From Joey and Alyze it was definitely a 10/10 food was great server Javier was great the arepa llena is by far my favorite. Thank you guys coming more often.

Very authentic and delicious Venezuelan traditional food. Service is great, the price is just right and the value for what you get could not be better. The only thing I would like better is the air conditioner. It could have been cooler given the fact that the outside temperature was in the 90s degrees. But other than that, a great place to taste your Venezuelan memories again.

First time today I ever have had Venezuelan food. Very simple restaurant nothing fancy. However friendly staff and ambiance. I had fried yucca potatoes, arepa caprese & churrasco, two beers for about $35 . It was about 3pm but there were only a couple of tables available. Spot is anyway not very large in size. I recommend and will return.

We tried a bunch of different things. It all was amazingly flavored. If you are picking up plan for about 40 mins if you are lucky but it completely worth the wait!

I've been there several times and always it's been a great experience. Churrasco is my favorite thing on the menu, and the sauce they use for it is very tasty. Also they have fresh juice, I'd suggest to try the passion fruit one!!!

The tropical burger was a delicious and unique menu item. I would definitely get it again. The boring, thin cut fries do not fit the character of the burger. The churrasco arepa was decent, but a bit over-priced and slightly overcooked. The servers did not pay us attention and it was difficult to get someone to take our order.

Arepa with Salad and Fries was outstanding. Will be returning! Service by Miguel, Raphael and Javier was helpful and friendly.

I am a native of Venezuela and this is the place to eat authentic Venezuelan fast food. The place tends to be crowded. The service is good but not excellent. I recommend the Tequeños for appetizer and then order an Arepa or a Cachapa. I usually get a Criolla Arepa or a Cachapa de queso de mano. Get a Polar beer to feel like a Venezuelan.

Doggi's an absolute local gem for breakfast, burgers, and arepas! The food is consistently delicious and never disappoints. My partner and I recently enjoyed Doggi’s breakfast, which included scrambled eggs/ham, arepas, avocado, cheese, and crema(; along with a cappuccino. This hearty breakfast kept us full and satisfied all day. Highly recommend!

Excellent food and riendly service. Great value and selection of dishes. Went with family at busy time and would highly recommend

From arepas to cachapas the best place to have an amazing meal. Open late and food is always fresh and tasty. Been coming here since first week they opened and can't wait to come back for yuca frites!!!

In spite of its strange name, Doggi's has the best Venezuelan food in Miami. The tequenos, cheese sticks are excellent. All the arepas are really good . You have to try the carne mechada, shredded meat with plantains, or the Reina pepiada: avocado, chicken and mayo. It is usually quite crowded, with lots of take outs, so the service can be slow.

Great food and very big portions and free WiFi and friendly staff a nice place and some good bargains.

I ordered the arepa tripleta { combination of any protein, gouda cheese and reina pepiada } $10.50. I had the fried egg as my protein. They over cooked it and it was hard. Did not taste the yolk which is the best part. The costs are extremely high as well

The best pabellón arepas that I have eaten in Miami... you need to go with time, always long line to get a table.

The place is very small, with interesting decoration on the walls. We had the arepas, and they were very filling. I found them a little greasy.

Doggi’s was highly recommended by some friends, and my tastebuds are thankful! First time I’ve had arepas & Tania suggested I go with arepas pelua…the shredded beef x cheese x sweet plantain combo brought together a delicious flavor profile! Can’t wait to go back & try more arepas!

The place is super nice, small but pleasant. The food is very delicious. Serving is not huge, but good. Attentive staff.

Grey place, good food and Kevin was awesome! Very good customer service! Joleidy and Vanessa also were nice and cool !! Very happy for Coming to This place

This place is very convenient if you're in the Coral Gables/Coral Way area - especially since it's close to public transportation, a major thoroughfare, and near the Cuban Museum. They were quick to seat me and very patient/understanding of a first timer tourist who's Spanish is "un poco/minismo" at best. The arepa I got was the one with cheese, shredded beef, and sweet plantains and it was delicious (albeit drippy - thankfully they are well stocked with napkins)! It was served fairly quickly and at a good temperature. The prices were also reasonable and I saw several young families as well as couples. They had Olympic-training sports on TV too. The only downside I experienced (aside from my own clumsiness) is that they didn't refill my water and that was my only beverage.

Wonderful! Best arepas in town. Tasty fresh juices.Delicious rice and beans with yuca crispy.I recommend!

Excellent atmosphere and food. Typical Venezuelan dishes, recommended arepas and cachapas. Carla and Juan attended to us and they were excellent. You can try Venezuelan sweets too. There is parking in front or around the back.

Excellent! Cool little place. Very quick service. Got the refried black bean and cheese arepa. My first arepa ever is wonderful! Crunchy, salty... better than a quesadilla!

This tiny place serves great arepas. Tons of fillings to choose from. My vegetarian with hearts of palm, avocado, lettuce, tomato, cilantro, queso blanco was fantastic. Quick, friendly service. Good prices and a fabulous bakery right next door!

Tried and loved the arepas, empenadas, house sald, and marchesa dessert. Absolutely fantastic. Great service from Javier, Kevin, and Joleidy as well.

If you are in the hunt for great Venezuelan food, Doggi’s fits the bill. Inside the restaurant is decorated with Venezuelan saying and cool signage. The service was top notch as our servers were on top of everything. The food was 100% authentic. Fresh and flavorful, the only issue we had was we ate too much. A great selection of arepas with Polar beer to wash it all down. We had a great time and will visit any and every opportunity we get. Nice job Doggi!

If you are looking for authentic Venezuelan food, this spot is it. It is a small place but the inside is nice. Good customer service. My family and I truly enjoyed the food.

This Gringo likes MUCHO !! Went with GF family who is from Venezuela and was NOT disappointed! Burgers were great but I am a real fan of the Cachapa. Had it all over FL and hands down is the best !! Can’t say enough good things. Parking is tight but so is all of Miami ! Well worth the trip.

Excelent food and ambience, not so child friendly but the staff has the right attitude to help out. Must have's Polar Beer, Requena, tostones

I stopped by mistake. I am happy with it. The service was good, friendly. One of the best tostones. The place is clean and nice

Good service from Raphael and Gabriela and very food. Nice atmosphere with nice low music. Very fast attention and good recommendations.

Had lunch while on vacation with my better half. The arepas were fantastic, had 2 with carne mechada, and they were some of the best I've ever had. The service was great and so was the ambiance

great neighborhood find. Best arepas ever. Also, try the huge plantain topped with savory shredded beef. Worth the trip. Highly recommend for families or friends. Only complaint is that there is a wait sometimes, they need to expand.

Awesome atmosphere and delicious food! The place to go for Venezuelan Food! The pepitos and areas are a must-have!

Great Venezuelan food!!!! We had the tequeños which were really good, and patacon de carne which was also great!!! I love that they had a great variety of sauces for it on each table...

In the afternoon hours of yesterday, August 18, 2024, I place an order by Uber Eats for food for my house since I am an official customer of this establishment and when the food arrives. It’s been a big embarrassment because three people’s food could be eaten by one person. I call on the phone and I get a girl who doesn’t remember her name supposedly like they do in every place in Miami, gives me an excuse and suggested that she would talk to the manager and call me back. Whose call I never return. Here I put some pictures and a video so that no one else can thank you very much Danilo. It's a pity but they were left without a client thanks

I ate several times and always amaizing food and service Its small and if you going on a weekend with 4 people or more its better if you call before and reserve Definitely you have to go and eat delicious venezuelan food

The guys Miguel , Gabriel and Javier behaved super chevere!! Very good food! All good in the place, recommend them!

Una belleza de local, la comida es espectacular y no son los precios exagerados como casi toda la comida venezolana. 10 de 10. A beautiful place, the food is spectacular, and the prices aren't exaggerated like most Venezuelan food. 10 out of 10.

Don't even bother to come here. The restaurant was almost empty (only four other customers inside) on a Sunday morning; that should have been our queue to leave. The food is mediocre at best but even worst is the people serving it. They are horrible and in need of a Customer Service 101 class, urgently. They treat customer as if they are doing us a favor in taking our order. Their attitude is out of this world and deserve no clients whatsoever. First, we arrived a 3 minutes before opening time and stood outside six minutes after opening time, while the crew watched us. Then, doors opened and without greeting of any kind our "hostess" threw the menu onto a table with the command "sit here!" a small sticky table right to close to the door and high-traffic area. The place is almost a hole in the wall decorated to please their family. We wanted to take a seat somewhere else she told us "we are going to decorate that wall" It was close to Halloween. Needless, to say they also took a long time to take our order (10 minutes) and even longer to deliver the simple two dishes we ordered and the restaurant was almost empty!! Before my order came out the waitress asked the strangest question, whether or not I wanted the cheese that the cooked already put in inside my arepa without me ordering it; to my reply of "no" she quickly made a disapproval gesture with her eyes and mouth and left. A mistake in a order with a restaurant almost empty. The arepas are good in size and poor in flavor; dough is tasteless and hard. The "arepa con perico" which is a traditionally juicy filling with sautéed tomatoes and onions and eggs cooked in such juices, was dried-up and it was more scrambled eggs with tons of onions and very few tomatoes thrown last minute. As I took it out of its pocket I saw remnants of the cheese that used to be there and I did not ordered. They add ice to your orange juice without asking, coffee is drinkable, there are sauces on the table that no one cared to explain what they were for; nobody approached our table to ask if we needed anything else so we waited and waited to get paper napkins although there were other "servers" around with no clients!! they saw us and ignored us because we were not their customers. In sum, we arrived, made wait before and after opening, not greeted, ordered to sit, left waiting more, placed our order and made felt we were not wanted, waited even longer for our food, order was messed-up, finally food came out and it was a big disappointment. So, if you want to be mistreated and eat mediocre food come here. For authentic Venezuelan food go somewhere else...I'll tell you as soon as I find it. Whenever service and food are at these poor level, prices are way too high and definitely, not pocket friendly.

We arrived at approximately 9 pm on a Saturday night. We felt as if the restaurant was more interested in making sure they sat every customer on a table which had the exact number of chairs. It was as if every seat needed to be occupied. We had a small child and were told we were not allowed to move to a bigger table. The food we ordered was tasty and filling. Too bad their customer service is not at the same level. We do not recommend this place.

...Is Venezuelan all the way: from the T-shirts on the waitresses (Venezuelan girl quotes) to the etching on the table to the food. With Venezuelans in our family we are always on the hunt for good Venezuelan food. Patacon, Arepas, Cachapas, Yuca Frita, Perros Calientes, etc and Polar beers to wash it down along with attentive service, it's everything a good Venezuelan needs for lunch or dinner or an American seeking a new taste south of the border. As far as price Miami and NYC pricing is really in the same range. The only difference is gratuity is in the Bill in Miami. Which is the case just about everwhere in Miami. I guess bad tippers abound there? A party of 3 to 4will clock in around the same, in the neighborhood of $105-120 which is helluva lot less than other dinner cuisine option especially in Miami.

Right around the corner from Home. We frequent Doggi's for their varied menu of authentic Venezuelan dishes!

Clean, enchanting, with lot of mementos from Venezuela. Great food and attention. Everything authentic. Recommended with my eyes closed.

It's small and whole in the wall with the best arepas in the area . It's a restaurant at to just go have a quick bite nothing fancy but it's delicious. The service is great and yes don't forget to order some tequenos.

Love the food, just comida casera but excellent quality They are always full and the service is not that good They are extra friendly and will go back with any plate if not satisfied

Since I'm Venezuelan but live in Europe I went to this place to enjoy old missed tastes and I can say that the experience was DIVINE. Absolutely recommended

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Doggi's Arepa Bar and recommend it for others. The service wasn't as good as the food but my tasty omelet made up for the extra waiting time.

Arepas were introduced to me later in my life due to the fact that they're not native to my culture. Having an overwhelming amount of Venezuelan friends, they dragged me to Doggi's where I had my first (inevitable) encounter with Venezuelan arepas. I must say that the best arepas I've had are here. The only problem I have with the restaurant is how small it is. My friends and I are a large group, so when we show up, we'd have to wait a long while for a table to clear. Luckily you can place orders to go.

Amazing place to taste a great Venezuelan food and fast food, Jose's Burger Nlow your mind, "Reina Pepiada" is an explosion of avocado in your mouth feel free to meet part of the culture of Miami in this Restaurant, great attention you will feel at home!

Very affordable. Erepas were delicious! Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Service was fast too!

Don't miss eating at Doggi's when locals eat! We do often and find that everything on the menu is great. You may have to wait for a table, as the dining area is not very big, but believe me, it is worth it!

This is one of our favorite quick eat spots in Coral Gables. Venezuelan arepas are pocket-like sandwiches with various savoury fillings that make a great lunch!

So delicious! The marinated skirt steak was tender, juicy, and delicious, top this with avocado and white cheese literally wedged into an amazing homemade Arepa shell so big you can't get your mouth around it! Now that is what I call lunch! poised just off the beaten path in a lovely Miami neighborhood it is a great place to unwind and take in some delicious food after the excitement of Miami. Lovely place full of lovely people! Don't miss it!

Very good food! I especially enjoyed the plantains that came with my meal. First time to Doggi’s Arepa. Friendly, helpful servers. Small seating area. Prices were reasonable and lunch portion was good!

Everytime I go here, I just cannot finish my arepa! But it is all sooooo yummy! The chicken salad is outstanding. Go hungry and expect to be licking your fingers!

The food and service were amazing! The Patacon de Carne is a unique sandwich of shredded beef and sauces between Fried Plantains.

We planned to visit here before going to the Vizcaya museum. I’ve never had Venezuelan food before and this did not disappoint. I had the chicken salad arepas which was delicious. It was stuffed full and I couldn’t manage it all. The waitress was lovely and explained everything to us fully. The black beans were also delicious. Great atmosphere too.

What a nice place to visit. Went twice on my week visit to Miami. Try the Cachapas they are so good. And the cheese empanadas as well

A real discovery with all the classic venezuelan dishes from arepas with their stuffings to asado negro and pabellon. Do not miss the maduros with cheese and nata, they are simply perfect.

Excellent service and attention. Very friendly feels at home, delicious food, and on time, very clear everything and service is efficient

We had the arepas which were delicious. They were thinner, more like pita bread than the thicker corn cake arepas I'm used to, but they were still good. They only had soda in cans but we had the coffee which was good. There's a large juice selection.

So looking forward to having the Beef Soup which was I had missed the day before. To my surprise it had no beef in it so I asked if this was hours it was supposed to be. The waiter told me he would bring some out to me and took note that my friend's soup had but one dice in it! After a very long wait, I flagged him down to remind him. He answered that they didn't have any more. This was my first & last visit. The soup broth was watery & greasy, poor service & not even an apology for what should never have left the kitchen. Pricey for such poor quality.

If I could I would give it 10 stars amazing food and great prices. Top of the list in favorite places to eat so far! Great service. The food is very very good and the deserts are amazing. If you are in the area stop and try it you will love it!

They put in their own 5 star ratings on the little machine you pay out with and 15% tip, they dont even ask you to put your own rating in or tip amount the lady tried to hide what she was doing. Give them a 1 star due to the fact the ratings are lies, maybe a 2 star max would be my honest opinion of their food. Small portions that are overpriced, small restaurant and ok service.

Never had such a plentiful flavorful and delicious Arepa. The place is small and well decorated. Can't wait for Arepa craving and go back there.

Great food, ambience & amazing service with Kevin. Delicious cachapas, arepas, soup & parrilla. Best Mora juice, Parchita juice and chicha.

If you want some ok venezuelan food this is the place for, but dont expect a quick service. Their waitress were good but just under staff not enough employees. Took long time to get out order.

Nothing special! Normal food, regular prices, normal service .... if you pass by you can try it but is not gonna be an experience in the real meaning of the world experience!

Not impressed, place was casual, comfortable, service average just blah! Can’t believe I paid 10 bucks for an arepa lol. I had a sandwich with meat well .. topped with a hip of dried up fires more fries than meat very salty. We had a cachapa I think that is what was called. Sweet With cheese inside. The arepa with chicharon (no chicharon flavor) and the arepa with carne and black beans another NO; 2 arepas 1 cachapa and a sandwich $55.00 what a joke. Sorry

I was working near by and this restaurant was recommended. I placed my order on line. It was ready when I got there. I didn't stay there to eat. It's a very small place, but clean and nice environment. I had a cachapa with chicken added. It was delicious. I'll be back in this area next month and I will definitely be visiting Doggi's then.

Our waitress Carla went above and beyond to get us seated comfortably as we were a large group and provided some great recommendations. Food came quickly and was so delicious. Good GF & Veg options. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in town.

A great place. I have been coming to this restaurant for 3 years and never fails. Excellent food quality and the service is top. Kevin was a great helper. Very professional and helpful.

I had a great experience at Doggi’s! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect, Joleidy, Gabriela and Javier where great. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving delicious Latin comfort food. Highly recommended!

Very good experience Kevin has excellent Attention and the food good, the natural juices of primacy the beer not to mention

Doggi's is a small nice restaurant on Coral Way serving Venezuelan food. The place can be busy on weekend night's. The service is very good and the food is very tasty as well. Parking can be difficult but the food is great.

Came to this place this brunch time on a Sunday and ..... well, parking was complicated... then we had been told the wait tine was 20 min... we ended up waiting 40+... the place is small with not too many tables... I also saw that another problem is they have lots if uber eats going on so the kitchen is all caught up... so between all the takeout and the tables, that is not a good time to go... so that is what I saw as for timing... service, again caught up on all the take out and the tables... so below average is a compliment! Food... we had the traditional cachapa... they did tell me it was home made... well did not seem to me it was, it was also like reheated... not the usual way a cachapa should be... I had 2 arepas, both of them missed the texture an arepa should have, also a notch undercooked... the one with meat and avocado was ok, the one with cheese, well not so good... the complete consensus on the table is that they should really focus on what they want... a take out restaurant or a dine in restaurant... both with the space they have might take them down an ugly road... (sorry guys, have to be brutally honest)... The place needs some cleaning. All in all, might give them another chance in several months!!! Enjoy

I had the best passion fruit juice ever here, the place is small but nice, the decoration with Venezuelan words were fun to read and explain the meaning to others at the table .. The Santa Barbara Arepa was the best, the tequeños were small but tasty, specially with the different sauces on the table. The empanada with cachapa mixed and cheese (guayanes) was excellent .. The service was quick and the waiters were nice. We had a table for 4 and end up paying $120 (tip included) so around $30 per person .. Pricey but worth .. Will definitely come back !!

Doggi's is a small place in Coral way specialized in Venezuelan food with emphasis on the arepas. We started with tequeños (white cheese with some sort of dough), and continued with Assado Negro and Santa Barbara Arepa. As desert we had the flan. The food is ok, nothing special, but tasty and well priced. A place that you return if you like arepas. There is free parking and the service was good.

Not very happy with the location, the size of the establishment (so tiny), the service (not good at all) or the portion sizes, however the food was tasty. We left the place still hungry even when we paid more compare to other places where we got lots and lots of amazing venezuelan food, same or better quality... charging me, the customer for ipads that make the bill and stuff does not interest me. Some people might love it, taste like home, sure, but there are better venezuelan restaurants all over Miami, where you get the taste and the amount of food you crave. Not coming back, but at least we crossed it off our list

This place was recommended to us as it stays open till late. We were a bit doubtful when we got there as the area looked a bit sketchy but the food was very good value for money. We ordered two arepas, the salad one was very good but the grilled vegetable arepa is very salty. We would recommend this place if you are on a budget.

A grest place for Venezuelan breakfast food!! Arepas, cachapas, tequeños and natural juices all with the best quality and freshness great ambience and service

Very good food, very good experience, very nice place very good prices, very good service thank you

Really excellent Venezuelan bistro and bar in North Miami around 70th street. Very reasonably priced food and drinks. I had a Milanese steak with salad and char grilled vegetables for $11 washed down with an excellent South American red house wine. Followed up with Churros downed in cholcolate. One of the best meals in Miami. Highly recommended

Tequeños are a must. Continue with an arepa filled with your favorites. Reina pepiada and the ones with avocado are our favorites.

If you are visiting Miami and want to taste THE REAL DEAL when it comes to Venezuelan food got to this of the beaten path tiny restaurant. I have been in Venezuela countless times and the arepas and tequeños are like the ones I had on my way to Morrocoy to the beach or in any other place in Puerto la Cruz or Caracas. I could have closed my eyes while biting my arepa de carne mechada con queso blanco and see myself in a Caracas restaurant (pre current economic debacle of course) On top of this the service was fast ambience relaxed and priced for locals not like the silly pretentious restaurants that kill your traveller's budget. And you can get there from downtown using the our free Miami Trolley. What else can you ask for?

Venezuelan American fusion flavorful entrees. My favorite dishes here are the meat pepito (Venezuelan version cheesesteak) and the plantain arepa.

Divine food! Miguel's attention was amazing, music from Venezuela, we felt at home! 100 percent recommended.

I have been going to Doggy's for about 3 times, and everytime I do it I have a feeling of deception in my mouth... The 1st time we had some arepas (corn cakes) and they were desapointing... The last time I ordered a "Steak Pepito" the Venezuelan version of the Cuban Pan con Bisteak... I guess they put some steak flavor enhacer in the pepito, that was a weird taste of the steak... Not so impress and my biggest mistake was for orderng one for my wife, not so good for her either... If you want to try Venezuelan food drive to Doral, you can go to Panna Cafe or Pepitos Plaza and have a blast... This place is pricey, not worth it!

I really loved this place!!! We were a party of for and everybody was enchanted with the food. I am very happy that we have a good Venezuelan place in town. Prices are reasonable also. I really want to congratulate the owner and the staff. Great job!!!

Must visit for a unique Venezuelan Arepa experience... Try the Santa Barbara... and Yuka Fries... with a beer or sangria!

Hard to park, hard to get in, very tight quarters, use their app to order before you get there if it's take-out why you're but once sitting be ready to go Caracas minus the airfare! the natural drinks are to die for, the arepas are loaded with meat and Guayanes cheese. everyone should try this joint!!!

Need to come back again so I can try another flavor mix. Mine was amazing and the choices were numerous

Excellent food. I had never had Arepas before and I was not disappointed! It was so good, clean and I enjoyed the experience tremendously.

I like this place is so cute fast and the food is very close to eating in my country Venezuela excellent areas empanadas and a lot more !!!!

Everything I've eaten here is very good, service doesn't disappoint either. My go-to is an empanada de queso and arepa de pabellon. If you want to sit down and eat, either go during a slow time or prepare to wait. Don't expect a gourmet meal, just sayin'. Pro tip: there is parking across the street, although it might be a little sketchy at night. Enjoy!

We chose from a number of food trucks and vendors, Doggis. Maybe it was the look of the truck itself, or the captivating menu, but I'm glad we made the choice. The Pepitos were absolutely delicious, I had the Churrasco while my friend tried the Chorizo...both were out of this world. I can't use so many adjectives, but wow. If you see the truck, get to it.

Small place but nice, take like 20 min to seat down because the staff don't know if was other people waiting. Good food with great taste.. always busy so if you want to call in advance for reservation do it.

Try the arepitas with cheese and Mata or the marinated churrasco. Only bad thing I can say about this place is that it is tiny. Still amazing food and good service for reasonable prices.

This place must be doing something right. We arrived at 2:00 PM, and we had a 20-minute wait to be seated. Food was good; service was (barely) ok, and prices were quite reasonable. I'd go back ... for the food.

it was the first time we have tried venezuelian food. It was absolutly delicious. We spend 3 days in Miami and ate 2 times there. I wish I could come back there right now. Just try

If you never had Venezuelan food before, this is the best place to do it because it's simply the best one. Simple but cozy place, good service and constantly good. 3 things you should try, as an appetizer, Tequeños. Pastry filled with cheese. Arepa: think of a fat tortilla filled with your favorite ingredientes, I love the Carne mechada or shredded beef with cheese on top. Ask for a Cilantro creamy sauce to make tastier. An other typical filling is reina papaya, which is a chicken salad, with cream, peas, mustard, so delicious. Finally a Cachapa, think on a thick crepe made out of sweet corn, then you filled with different ingredients and you eat it as a quesadilla. I love carne mechada. For sure it's a neighborhood gem. Look for other locations though.

We were looking for something slightly different from Cuban and thought of northern South America (Venezuela or Colombia). This place was reasonably on the way. The parking was not easy (a lot across the street with a slightly menacing caveat sign despite being designated for this restaurant), and there was a slight wait since the restaurant is a small hole in the wall. But the service was friendly. We ordered patacones (sandwich with non-sweet plantain patty 'bread') with pulled chicken breast and fried black bean/sweet plantain/avocado arepa. Both were perfect. The patacones was just like what we had eaten in Colombia previously. We also ordered a soursop juice, which was also perfect on a hot muggy day. This came in a soft tin cup, which I assume is a local custom. I usually am not a huge fan of maize-based foods, but the arepa bread was really nicely done: slightly soft on the inside and toasted on the outside.

Very good food. Arianny provided excellent Service and made good recommendations: The chaffs are amazing.

Love the ambience, love the friendly service, and the food is to die for! I will definitely recommend it. I went there with my husband and my kids we were all super happy with what we ordered! Happy to come back!

Most likely one of the best Venezuelan place in town. Original and delicious, try the Arepas. Some minor issues with the parking (location is not prime), be sure you beat the crowd by going there before "rush" hour lunch and dinner hours...

Awesome Venezuelan food! Always same recipes, great taste, presentation, cool restaurant! First time at Coral Way location, parking seemed limited, this particular place is smaller then Biscayne; but still great environment.

We enjoyed our visit to Doggi's Arepa Bar, Coral Way, Miami. It is a simple place, not fancy, but the service was friendly and good. Not a gourmet experience, but delicious. The prices were reasonable. For we gringos, it was a new experience that we enjoyed..
Taking care of the Arepa fix.
Great little restaurant near downtown Miami and Brickell. Traditional Venezuelan fare, the arepas are amazing.
