Our server was great, but our food was mediocre. Very attractive appearance, though. Probably would choose somewhere else, next time.

I checked in to the Doubletree late and I didn't want to go out for food. The food was above average for a hotel restaurant and the service was adequate. The prices were a little high, but not unreasonable for a hotel. I would eat there again.

We were tired after a day of flying, so opted to stay in for dinner. Good decision. This is one of the better hotel restaurants I've eaten at. My cobb salad was delicious - fresh, crispy and loaded with bacon, avocado, blue cheese and chopped egg - and topped with a nice piece of salmon. Our server was prompt, and very attentive. Highly recommended.

Whilst not inexpensive, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made each visit very enjoyable.. highly recommend.

We visited on a Monday. We were surprised to see they were as busy as they were. The server seemed overwhelmed. We ordered a cobb salad & fish & chips. The fish was excellent but the fries were stone cold. We asked to have a new order of fries & they did bring them. The salad was good, I would order it again. We ordered a side of bread, that never came, but at least we didn't get billed for it. We had 2 glasses of wine & one drink, they were fine, no complaints. The bill was $93 before tip, pricey for fish & chips & a salad with 3 beverages. The restaurant was pretty loud.

Very pricey but you will not regret it, if you have a good meal.I had the Pan Seared Wild Salmon that was great with an appropriately named cocktail.Excellent Service!

We ate here for dinner on a layover at SeaTac. Food was okay. It seemed expensive for the quality, but it is also a hotel restaurant, so I expect to pay more.

We stopped here for dinner. Very good food but a bit pricey. Margherita flatbread was exceptional! The lava cake was exceptional!

Got in for a conference and needed some fuel late in the evening. The manhattan was acceptable. Once again, as it was last year, the clam chowder was very good. The half Caesar salad was flavorful. I avoided the fish and chips as they were not very palatable last year. Not willing to waste almost $20 for those. Friend had the fish tacos made with mahi mahi that he said was excellent, so may try those over the next few days. Service was average.

Pier 91 was traveler friendly and easy to drop off bags and find the area you needed to be in. Use to going to Florida ports - and Seattle was less complicated.

Stopped in here the last two nights for after conference wine tasting. The bartender had a very nice merlot to recommend last night at a reasonable price. The wine tonight was a medium bodied syrah that was acceptable. Prices are generally high with a 6 oz pour going from $9-18+and a 9 oz pour somewhat higher. So far, except for the first night there has been plenty of room to sit and visit but the music is just a little too loud for quiet conversation. The have much the same menu as past years. Prices seem a little higher than before. This place works if you need a quick option. In the past food was flavorful. Have yet to order food this trip but the wine have been good.

We didn't want to walk for blocks, and being close to the airport there was a lot of traffice, so we ate "in". Service was very good and food was good, at prices you expect from a Hotel restaurant.

Good bar food and a nice atmosphere; televisions placed well but were not invasive; lots of places to sit; Rich the bartender was great!

Menu changed. I miss the flat bread and tacos. Had fries twice. first time was over fried and cold. Next day was undercooked and soggy. Somewhere in between would be perfect. Day one lunch waitress was awesome. much bettter than the usual slow service from prior visits. the remaining two meals we ate their was slow service. Prices have always been high...they seemed higher this visit. Ended up going across the street to the roadhouse for a better less expensive meal.

Decided to get an evening snack before going to bed. The service was excellent, and the food was great. I had the buffalo wings. Five wings for $12. My wife has this awesome short rib appetizer for $15. Large craft beer (20 oz) was $10. I guess I need to get used to Seattle prices. Ouch!

I am not impressed with the doubletree at all. After a long travel day though I did not feel like venturing out. What a surprise the food here is really good. I had the Northwest Clam Chowder to start and it was great. I ordered the 8 ounce filet and it too was really good. The atmosphere is a bit weird I thought but the service wa quick and friendly. If you have to stay at this hotel you might as well get some good food.

Nice venue for a quick business or evening meal. Very good staff even on a busy night. Had the soup and salad with an appetizer - Ran about 50 dollars with a glass of wine. But it beat paying parking in the hotel lot and going out for a meal. Little wine - little dinner - nice nights sleep.

Looks like a bar or small lounge, but they had excellent food. Not too loud, couple of silenced televisions. The Thai chicken over pasta was delicious. Reasonably priced for a hotel.

Try the amazing bacon cheese burger or the fish and chips. The vibe is laid back and a fantastic location if you want to watch a sporting event but still be able to talk without shouting. .

I was seated on the right side of the restaurant. I was okay with that until several families with small children were seated nearby..... It felt like they decided I was a gramma so I belonged near the little children in this section. If this was Denny’s with Denny’s prices that wouldn’t have been so irritating. I ordered the wild salmon chowder. It was good but my fish and chips arrived within one minute.... so my $24 entree cooled while I ate the $10 chowder. When you add in the cost of the root beer, I had a $41 bill for no atmosphere, lots of small noisy children, cold fish and chips and no friendly interaction with the wait staff. I ate the fish anyhow but not the chips. I was expecting a good meal in a very pleasant atmosphere. I was just very disappointed. Denny’s is across the street and I probably should have gone there instead.

We ate at this restaurant for convenience but were pleasantly surprised. We visited Alaska on this trip and our salmon dinners at the Doubletree in Washington were the best salmon of the trip. Great chowder too. I loved my meal and my 3 companions were pleased too.

This place is decent, but it's crazy expensive! The service was good, and the food was ok... but this is not a $20 for a burger/coke dinner type place.

It is convenient but a bit pricey. Food is was a bit disappointing but the bar service was great and friendly, A very business oriented clientele so it makes for a great social hub.

We walked to another restaurant to avoid eating in the hotel. Wellllk we returned and we were glad. The service was excellent and the quality of the food was superb. Little speendy but it was expected being in a hotel.

This is a good pub/restaurant in the Doubletree hotel. I have had beers here several times and tried lunch today and it was good. Had the Cobb salad. Everything was fresh, tasty and service was good.

I've eaten here once. It's in the Doubletree. The food is decent, the prices are high, and the ambiance is lacking. I wouldn't return unless I was snowed in. That happens a couple of days each year in Seattle.

Had lunch for 2 days there, and the food and service was good. Dinner menu was out of my budget unless a burger or such. I did not tried dinner there.

Overly fishy flavors and textures for a town that prides itself for seafood. The clam chowder, however was very good. Had nice hints of rosemary and thyme

I was tired from flying all day. The bartender was welcoming and offered suggestions. I started with a Jameson on the rocks (very good!) and ordered the French dip. I have had better but this was pretty darn good. I especially enjoyed the crunchy French baguette. That made it really good.

For a tab of 50 big ones, you might expect that the fare leaving the kitchen would be of a high quality. At Seaports, this would be a wrong assumption. The (expensive) side Caesar salad was over dressed; the french fries arrived cold and limp, having sat around for a while; and the "fennel" cole slaw had no fennel (a sure sign when the transverse sections of the vegetable show no signs of either parallel vascular bundles or the taste of anise). The 7 oz portion of fish did arrive hot, but the thick breading surrounding it was more reminiscent of what comes out of a freezer rather than what is hand breaded in the kitchen. Such a shame that a half of a c-bill buys mediocrity.

Not bad. Not great. What can you expect - it is a restaurant in a hotel. Full of single business travelers. The French onion soup was ok but not nearly hot enough. The beet salad was big but not enough dressing. Service was pretty good.

This is located in the Doubletree hotel so it's a little pricey. However, it's worth it for the convenience and not having to go out. Drinks, food, and atmosphere are all very good. Have eaten here many times over the last several years.

Located on the lobby level at the Doubletree at the Seatlle Airport, the food was good but pricey and the service was slow. There was only one waitress and she did her best. I was surprised the restaurant was not better staffed. On hindsight, we would would have saved a lot of money walking across the street to a restaurant or just picking up a sandwich or fruit cup at the entrance to the restaurant where you can purchase a coffee and danish.

We loved this restaurant, as it is located in the Doubletree at Seatac we were staying in. The food is EXCELLENT and the service very friendly and prompt. The bartender was great and talked with me and my family. Try this one out for sure!

Although the area around SeaTac Airport abounds with hotels and restaurants, sometimes it is nice to eat in at the hotel where you are staying. It is convenient; but the outcome can be quite variable. In this case I was very fortunate. A salmon festival is ongoing and the chowder (both clam and salmon) was excellent. I ate mine at the bar. The Bartender was very amusing and friendly. He kept several conversations going with various patrons and generally created a very friendly atmosphere for the tired travelers present. In all, it was a very enjoyable experience.

I had the half chicken to my Surprize it was tender and juicy. They lady who have been there since 1990 was great. She made me a Virgin strawberry daiquiri that was good. I'm sure they get the best business in the hotel. Better then hotel it self.

Nice menu selection and food was good. Better than most hotel casual restaurants. Fairly priced both food and drinks. No need to go out. Another restaurant in hotel also.

Starter-clam chowder: Superb Entree - Halibut: Excellent Service; Christine was wonderful I highly recommend this establishment

thanks, Christina, for taking such good care of us at dinner and again at breakfast. hubby's birthday was awesome!! good food, good drinks, good service!! pina colada was the best!!

We walked up from the Hampton one evening because we craved a seafood dinner with craft beer and a quality wine. We departed a little disappointed, mainly due to kitchen operational issues and service. Craft beer - returned the first craft beer (IPA) selection since I thought it was 'off'. Sampled two more craft beer tastings and declined them as being 'watery'. Reverted to the first offering. In fairness though, this may be related to WA state brewers. Wine - first sauvignon blanc was served at room temperature and returned in exchange for a cooler selection. Dinner - shared appetizer of fried calamari was very good. - the fresh King salmon was excellent ($$$). - the fish and chips failed big time. In fact the chef arrived from the kitchen to inquire about feedback on the this basic means test. If the Brits can do it well, surely SeaPorts can do better.

burger and fires were good. Cutmoer service was fair.

It was a dreadful snowy evening so the restaurant was full. I typically dine at the bar anyway. I had the "really good" curry, vegetarian style, which was really good! They offer calm chowder, calamari, potato frites and nice selections of beer wine etc.

A little short-handed with staff. The staff is working their honeys off, but I think, they just need to hire more help. Drink choices were, umhhh... interesting. Not sure who came up with it, but they had one super sweet drink that I can only describe as Dairy Queen meets Ketel One. Strange....

In the Doubletree Hotel, pretty good food selection and full bar. Service was quick and the food was hot for bar food. Not to loud for a hotel bar

This restaurant was a little pricey but the food and service was good. Try the Asian Noodle Soup. Delicious!

We had some Hilton credit we needed to use so we decided to charge SeaPorts to our hotel room bill. We have the Clam and Mushroom Flatbread & Burger with Fries. Clam and Mushroom Flatbread - Very tasty and good portion size. The clams didn't have that 'slimy' effect and were flavorful without being overpowering. Burger - Nice burger, a fluffy bun that was crispy. The food was good but had the typical price tag associated with being a hotel restaurant.

Was crowded every night, but the weather did not permit many alternatives. Food was ok, presentation and service was fine, a happy hour would have been a plus.

We had a group of six people and were promptly seated at an appropriate table without reservations. Excellent service and good meals/drinks. Several TVs showed different sports events for enthusiasts while the sound volume stayed low. Would recommend it for a quick business or family gathering.

We wanted to watch the Yankee game and thIs provided a comfortable place for dinner and the game. Out service was terrific. Both my husband and I had the fish and chips, which was delicious. Both the fish and French fries were perfection and ample portions (and I ate everything!). Priced at $27, it’s not exactly a bargain and I would have liked the usual cole slaw with it but we enjoyed our meal. We were staying at the Doubletree so it was very convenient to just walk down the hall.

My husband & I stayed here at the Double Tree by Hilton in Seattle 2 weeks ago before heading out on a trip to Hawaii. We decided to have our dinner at the hotel in SeaPorts and we were not disappointed. We had to wait 30 mins for a table, but it was definitely worth the wait. Gave us more time to unwind and visit and then once we got to our table, we had a really lovely server. Food was amazing and they also had a great wine menu. We choice a CabSav from Lapostolle, CA and it was amazing. Was so nice to actually have a great dinner at the hotel we were staying at without having to drive. Enjoyed a lovely evening here and best part was walking back to our room. We will definitely be back next time we stay in Seattle before a trip!

I don't usually enjoy hotel restaurants. Most of them are just doing the best they can. The SeaPorts is an outstanding exception. The quality of the food was exceptional. The staff was very friendly, prompt and on top of the service. I ate here two times and both were great experiences. Someone is doing a very good job at managing this hotel restaurant. It stands out.

For a tired traveller, slightly jet-lagged, I found this a good place to have lunch or dinner. Beer and wine choices are appropriate.

Was at the Double Tree hotel for a convention. Ate at the restaurant for lunch with a group the first day. Sandwiches and Fish and Chips were very good but very Pricey. $14 for a BLT and $17.50 for Fish and Chips. Excellent service and fairly quick considering a whole herd of Elks descended on the restaurant all at the same time. No problem giving individual checks.

We were there for a conference and wanted to grab a quick lunch between sessions without having to leave the hotel. I ordered a $9.90 bowl of clam chowder and my two friends ordered a salad and a sandwich from the limited menu. Service was slow; it took a while to get water, and more time to give our orders. I would have thought that pouring and delivering a bowl of soup would be quick & easy, but no. The waitress was very pleasant and the clam chowder (which came with a roll) was delicious. We chose not to eat there again. There are several less-expensive restaurants across the street.

Many of the servers have worked there more than 20 years and seem to really like their jobs! The food is excellent! We have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. Steaks are high quality, fish is very good, salads are fresh and make a perfect meal! And ask for some of their homemade potato chips with a cocktail. Never disappoints!

Convenient for guests of the Doubletree. Always a pilot hanging out on an overnight to rub elbows with and talk shop. Food is good and somewhat pricey, but the drinks are really where you can burn up a credit card fast.

My experience here wasn’t great. It got off to a terrible start when one of the “house specialty” drinks SUCKED. Not a good sign. I ordered the crab mac and cheese and there was no flavor at all. The whole thing was just disappointing. The servers are great – they really try hard and are very attentive. Maybe something else on the menu is better, but I’m not very good about giving second chances to restaurants. There’s too much good food out there.

Friends of ours had been here a few years ago and thought it was much better back then. We had lunch and everything was okay, but not exceptional. The service was friendly, but a little slow in getting our orders even though it wasn't very busy at the time. The prices are a little high. However, the lounge is attractive and a nice place for a drink before retiring.

The salad was fresh as well as the dressing on it. The person who waited on us was very attentive. The restaurant was clean and a great dining atmosphere! We were entertaining relatives from out of town that were staying overnight before boarding a cruise to Alaska the next morning. We will eat there again!

We came here for lunch while attending Crypticon and had a good meal. The sirloin dip and onion rings were quite good. Our server was prompt and attentive.

Clam chowder, fish tacos and margaritas were all very good. Perhaps a bit overpriced, but it's a hotel restaurant, so that's what you get. The design is basic and minimal and the ambiance is pretty nonexistent, which makes the meal feel more perfunctory than relaxing... However the aforementioned margaritas help sufficiently in that regard. Recommended.

Have eaten dinner at this location now on a couple of occasions when visiting Seattle on business. Very convenient and have never been disappointed. On the pricey side however.

Had mid evening drinks. Good place to unwind from the day! Good menu! Service was friendly but quick!

Went down a couple nights ago and had a decent Caesar drink and both their Northwest Chowder and Caesar Salad. Both dishes were nicely flavored and the chowder was thick and creamy with adequate clams. The salad dressing was okay but unfortunately they have no anchovies in the kitchen. The croutons were good. Service was excellent and the waitress I've had here previous years and has always done a good job. Definitely at least one stop here each year. They are very consistent in their preparations.

Wow. Talk about price gouging. Over $12 each for Jack and Coke (double) and $19.00 for a burger? It was over $55 for my bill...that’s for 1 person. Even if I didn’t order drinks, $19 for a mediocre burger that wasn’t cooked as I ordered? And look at the size of the patty! For $19 it should have been overflowing out of the bun. But no. Dry burger that was less than stellar. McDonald’s burgers are more moist than this! I would have been better off walking across the street for other culinary options. The waitress was a hoot and I have no complaints about the service. However, for those prices, it should be a 5-Star experience. I mean really, their New York steak is priced at $58!!!! I know damn well a steak from The Outback would have more value. Halibut fish and chips are $22. And a bowl of Pho soup is $20!?! Really? I doubt the Doubletree can serve a better batch of Pho than an actual Pho restaurant. Damn!!!

The service was just abysmal, ....at least at first, as we literally had to search out a waitress and while I was looking elsewhere my dinner partner found one. After that the service was better and the waitress was nice but extremely slow and there were few people in the facility. I paid $9.00 for a bowl of Clam Chowder and another $24.50 for a Cobb Salad both were actually good but the poor service and ambience left me concerned with cost. The 2 piece Fish n Chips were $19.00 and just okay. They also placed a carafe of water on the table, which actually I liked a lot at first, but it’s warm water. We’re not big fans of room temperature water. Hotel prices are generally higher and we understand that, nevertheless hotels are generally better hosts and show more hospitality even on a Wednesday night. We won’t return as there are other places within walking distance ...probably a big reason why they weren’t busy.

We ate here a number of times during our stay. Our first visit was purely for convenience, but we returned twice more over the weekend because both food and service were excellent. The bartender was fantastic when we opted for the bar and the servers were all wonderfully attentive and genuinely polite. The prices are typical of hotel restaurants, but the food is very good and portions are on the large side. Try the clam chowder! It's wonderful. Overall, Seaports is an outstanding experience. If you are staying in the Doubletree, definitely stop in here to relax with a bite to eat.

Located inside the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel near SeaTac airport. Food was great, as was the service - but wow, was it expensive. And while you expect hotel food to be more expensive than the outside world, this was even more expensive than that. It's too bad because I would have spent more money here over the course of our stay if the prices weren't so high. Take-out/to go is available from the bar.

This restaurant is a good choice if you're staying at the hotel and don't want to leave. The service is good and the food is just okay. Everything is overpriced, but that seems to be the norm in this hotel and area.

I dined at this restaurant while staying at the DoubleTree Seattle Airport Hotel. Staying with a large group for a pre-cruise trip, it was easier to have an airport hotel with complimentary shuttle, and to offer certificates for our guests to use in the restaurant. Most of our attendees utilized this option, and from all I have heard, all of our guests truly enjoyed SeaPorts! For my experience, I ordered a cocktail along with the Fish Tacos. The tacos were really good, and I truly enjoyed them. I also had a bite of some macaroni and cheese that someone else ordered; and it was pretty good too. The service was great, and for dealing with the certificates as well as large groups of people coming in and out; they did a tremendous job with their customer service. I was pleased with the food and the service and would definitely consider dining here again in the future.

Had the Fish & Chips with a Hendricks Gin Martini while sitting at the bar. Both were good. It has a classic mid scale hotel atmosphere. It's a good place to eat dinner for the business traveler.

I have eaten here on several occasions.. sometimes in the lounge and sometimes in the main area. I love the burger when I am in a hurry and they have great crab cakes as well. Stay away from the croquettes as they taste straight out of the freezer section of the grocery store (literally 100% non authentic and disgusting), but everything else I have ever gotten there is great. I read reviews of slow service and I have NOT experienced that... I have always been waited on quickly with a friendly smile.

This might be the hardest review I have had to write, because I always believe in recognising good service. However, I would have to say the service was very hit and miss. During my one week stay at the Doubletree, I was in Seaports every day either for drinks or food. Sometimes the service was absolutely brilliant. Kim and Frank in particular offered the best service I've had anywhere, friendly, quick, humerous. Nothing seemed a bother to them whether it was mid-day or last call. Sadly, these lovely occasions were punctuated by a couple of servers who not only were slow but also rude at times. Ignored for long periods of time despite making hopeful eye contact, loud sighs while taking drink orders, and even eye rolling. I have never been made to feel more of a bother! Overlooking this, the drinks we had were always great, and the food was quickly delivered and delicious. The prices were reasonable considering the location, and the convience couldn't be better. I will continue to visit SeaPorts when I am staying at the Doubletree, but I might need to be more proactive about speaking to a manager in the future about a few bad apples on the staff.

Slow service and over priced - poor quality. You would think that greeting, seating and caring for a guest would be a priority….it is not.

For tired travelers, this hit the spot , comfort food with a twist..Mac and cheese with crab was excellent and fish and chips were delicious!

We checked into the hotel on a miserable rainy evening and decided to eat here at SeaPorts. There is no atmosphere - basically a bar, and appropriately we started by having drinks. When we ordered. We were all pleased with our orders- the fish tacos were some of the best I've had. The others ordered salads which were also really great.

A bit pricey but the seafood is worth it! try the dungeoness crab mac and cheese is wonderful and the clam chowder is MMMMMMMMMMM good!

We were at the property for a conference. We had lunch and dinner at SeaPorts. Lunch was worse than the dinner experience. The waitress ignored us and there was another waitress helping the table next to us. I asked her water twice and both times she acted like i was inconveniencing her. Dinner was better. The menu is limited and prices are high. The service was still slow and less than par for the price.

My husband read some good reviews on this place so we thought we would try it. The server was very nice but food not so great. The server brought 4 small cold pieces of bread, with butter so frozen, the packages were stuck together. The tomato and clam chowder soups were good. I had the Halibut fish and chips. The fish was not bad with a light batter. The coleslaw can only be described as awful. I gave some to my husband to try and he thought it was terrible. My husband had the salmon which he said was okay but nothing special. A bit overpriced for the poor quality of food. We were very disappointed in the food and don't intend on going back.

We went here for dinner hoping to have a quality meal at reasonable price were we ever wrong. The decor and ambiance are both very nice but booth seating is awkward. Service was good and food brought out promptly. The server asked if we wanted bread and butter, she brought us 4 small thin sliced crusty pieces of bread on a plate which were not warmed up and the foil butter pieces were frozen together and difficult to separate let alone to spread. My wife ordered their famous halibut and chips, the fish was tastey but batter overdone and crusty. The coleslaw was the worse I have ever tasted, bland and mushy, the fries were in a mini fry basket were stone cold, with small portions. My salmon was tastey and prepared with a spicey tomato sauce, but the potato underneath the salmon was cold. The appetizer cup of soup was good for both of us the tomato was flavorable while the clam chowder was good, but have had better and hotter. Feel the current rating is unreasonable for this restaurant...

Most DoubleTree hotel restaurants aren't fit places to dine; however on an overnight layover with no car, I was rather stuck. Fortunately, this particular hotel's restaurant is a large step above what is usually found in the chain. I will caution, you'll pay about 50% more than what you would expect for any given dish, but then it is Seattle, and at least you'll enjoy what you eat.

Typical hotel bar, friendly bartender, and average food. Had clam chowder/Caesar salad dinner. Both good, and would visit again if I was staying here

Sherrie G., our waitress, did an exceptional job - making sure that our order of clam chowder and a shared DT Burger came promptly. They were both delicious, but we were blown way when our huge banana split dessert arrived. Needless to say, we left the restaurant stuffed but grateful for an awesome meal. Thank you Sherrie! We'll certainly be back!

Very high priced but good food. Prices on alcohol extremely high! Service was quick but the servers themselves were not overly friendly.

My husband and I passed on the beautiful buffet and ordered from the menu. He had a traditional breakfast with potatoes, poached egg and sausage (all good) and I had the Eggs Benedict. It was dee-lish! They serve Starbucks Pike Place coffee. Our waitress was fantastic! She took excellent care of us and I wish I could remember her name so I could recommend her.

Vvery nice food with careful and attentive service. Waitress was nice and the menu had a good variety.

Victoria is such a vibrant Harbor and to use the bus system to get where you want to go is so easy! We arrived at Bouchard Gardens and there were many people and you were able to self direct your tours and after seeing some amazing sights, you can choose either a Coffee shop or a real Vegan meal with all the trappings of a Gourmet Cuisine.

Very nice place to hang out. Wine was great . Service workers very nice and kind. They were short staffed but still got the job done.

I can't see why anyone local would come here. The restaurant is conveniently located in the Doubletree hotel by the airport. With that being said the wait staff doesn't have to impress because they don't have much return local business. Our waitress wasn't too friendly & seemed very flustered. My wife & I were overcharged for 2 items on our bill. It was not noticed until after the bill had been paid & after the struggle of getting our check & paying we decided to not even bring it up to the waitress as she had already screwed up our checks once, & we had been waiting to leave for almost 30 minutes. I would say it was bad service at best. I had two drinks from the bar. A Manhattan & a local beer. Both were good & both were incredibly overpriced! This restaurant is home to the most expensive beer this guy has ever drank! I don't mind paying for top shelf/premium drinks when the quality of the product & or service is just that. Definitely jack the prices due to it being a hotel bar. The highlight & saving grace to this review was the food. The asparagus tempura appetizer & fish tacos were very good. Everyone else in the party also said the food was good. Im staying here for 4 more days; however, I will not be back to this place.

We stayed at the Sea-Tac Doubletree once in 2011 and the food was so good I remember every single thing I ordered, seven years later. At that time it was really surprisingly high quality, so much so that we went out of our way to stay here again and looked forward to dining here. All I can say is that the food quality has taken a nosedive while the prices are higher than ever. Tonight I paid $23 for a Cobb salad and was shocked to find that the grilled chicken breast wasn't even cooked to order. It was ice cold, probably prepared the day before and cubed up. I could have gotten the same salad with dishwater-flavored lettuce, beige tomato chunks, ice cold chicken, and ice cold avocado for 6.50 in the prepared food section of a grocery store or even a nice gas station. We won't be back. (The wait staff was very nice--no problem with the service whatsoever.)

The Pan roasted chicken became a daily after gym staple. Richard at the bar can mix anything and knows all about sports and travel. A classic bartender at his best.

Typical hotel restaurant... they're trying way too hard to be fancier than they actually are. The food and drinks are seriously overpriced. The food is good, not great....service was good... save yourself a bunch of money, and walk across the street to Sharp's roasthouse....way better food.... I would eat here again, if I stayed in the hotel. It's adequate at best

I was staying at the hotel and did not feel like driving for dinner so I thought I would try this place. On the suggestion of the server I had the steel head trout and it was really good. The fish was flaky and moist and it did not have a fishy smell. The veggies were also cooked well and the bread was crusty just the way I like it. I would eat here again and again.

We were treated like royalty by Rich, the bartender. Nice wine suggestion and delicious Asian short ribs.

The Double Tree Hilton is a big place, with a good restaurant inside the hotel. Mostly hotel guests, yet also conference visitors enjoy a wide variety of dishes in a somewhat traditional sportsbar atmosphere. Excellent service by experienced staff.

We dined here for dinner a couple of weeks ago. Christine waited on us. She was so nice, funny, kind and accommodating. We ordered a pork belly sandwich, crab tater tots, clam chowder and fish and chips. The food was hot and delicious. The fish had the best batter I have ever tasted. The restaurant is in the DoubleTree Hotel. It is pretty expensive but plentiful.

My $21 fish tacos were good, and my wife's $35 steak was okay, but these were among the least expensive items on the menu. At least the service was prompt and polite, and the restaurant is not crowded or noisy. Bring your big wallet.

On most trips we take there is always at least one night we are tired and don't really want to venture out to eat. We don't have big expectations of hotel restaurants. We just hope for palatable food and reasonable service. We actually ate here two nights, once with the kids and once just the adults in the bar area. Side note...Washington state has VERY uptight law about nobody under 21 in bar areas, even tables. First let me say there is no clear way to get to the restaurant. You just kind of wonder in with no host area and you stand looking confused until a waiter seats you. No biggie. We were seated pretty quickly. We ordered water and wine. Spouse ordered soup and fritters, I ordered soup and salad with dressing on the side. This was a concern to the waiter as ordinarily the salad is apparently presented with the dressing. I don't know, maybe he was kidding; I admit I was tired and maybe a bit dazed, but I just wanted my dressing on the side. I have salad control issues. One kid got chicken, one got steak. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time..and before we had water refills. My salad actually was quite good and the ginger dressing, though not served with flair, was tasty. Fritters were uninspired, the soup was fine, the steak was ok, and the chicken was dry and tasteless. The mashed potatoes must not have been good at all, as one kid took one bite and the couscous apparently was of the same quality. All in all a less than satisfying experience. Another night the kids just wanted Subway so spouse and I ate in the bar area thinking we might get better service there...silly us. More of the same with water, and empty beer glass. We ordered salad, flatbread, and wings. The salad was fine. the other food was edible. It wasn't crowded, so I'm not sure why service was bad, but it is just part and parcel of the bad food service everywhere (other than the Starbucks) at the hotel. Maybe they just don't care to fix this as they know they have a captive audience that will always guarantee a set amount of people whether the service is good or bad.

Food is actually better than average. Would have given them a higher overall rating other than for their service -- SLOW! If you're having breakfast, try the Salmon Benedict.
My first Seattle meal
This was my first stop to eat when I arrived in Seattle. I wanted something different so I ordered the Dungeness crab fritters. They were delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The drinks were exceptional?
