I was here a year ago when here for business and all good. This time I ordered the happy hour oysters. Smallest oysters I have seen and looked and smelled a day old. I took one look and smell and sent back. I inquired of the bartender who informed me that sometimes they were pre shucked. This is probably fine. However, I grew up in the Northeast where seafood quality control was and is non negotiable. You run a restaurant on Cape Cod or Boston and serve day old or non fresh products, word gets around......fast. Realize not the same standard in San Antonio. They love themselves as a food and drink city. However, they may not understand the standards required to achieve parity with a Northeastern city where "Whatever" is not acceptable

Great atmosphere with really good music. Bar staff is experienced and friendly. Food is fantastic. Oysters on the half shell were fresh and the Scotch Egg was the best. Bar seat by the kitchen pick-up was entertaining.

A perfect bar. Staff and service is lovely. Cocktails are great and the cheeseburger we had was gorgeous. I had 2 cocktails: vodka martini refreshing and tasty, bramble lovely, Gin fizz was amazing like cream soda on steroids with an amazing foam. It’s so good there , the music is great like 90’s playlist that takes you back. Pixies to Nirvana to Donnie Darko soundtrack . Going back for my birthday on Friday steak night

Great little bar we found the first night of our stay and visited for afternoon cocktails every day. Lots of different drinks and knowledgable bartenders. Seemed to be more of a locals place. Good atmosphere service and the food was good too.

This is my husband’s and I new favorite bar! Great prices, amazing drinks, and delicious food. Can’t beat this anywhere downtown San Antonio.

We stopped here during the very busy Final Four weekend. We decided to have a couple cocktails before we called it a night and stopped in and got a couple seats at the bar. We were fortunate that we were served by a great bartender whose name was Joshua L. I wasn’t sure I wanted anything on the menu and asked him to make something up for me which he did and it was delicious and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. My boyfriend ordered an old-fashioned and he was also very pleased. You could tell that Joshua considered his craft to be very important and it came through in his cocktails. I wish we lived closer as this would be a great place to stop for some nightcaps.

Great bar in downtown area, near Embassy Suites. Great atmosphere. Seating is family style so take any open seat. Happy hour is 4:30 to 6:00 with both food and drink specials. Menu is small (burgers, sandwiches, fries, oysters on half shell, etc.). Friendly and helpful staff.

Stopped in for a beer and oysters in the afternoon. Great Vibe! The oysters were amazing!! Best part is that the oysters were only $1 each!
